Our Mission For Missions | Elder Terence Atkinson

You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

will light up your day. My message for you this morning is entitled our

Mission for Missions. And let's look at Collosians chapter one. Let's just first

do verse one and two. Paul and Apostle of Jesus Christ, by the

will of God, and Timothy our brother to the saints and the faithful brethren

in Christ who are in coloss Grace to you and peace from God our Father,

the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, you know,

we we often do not place so much of an emphasis on the greetings

that Paul gives sometimes because he does kind of a lot of that in his

letters. Right, so we think, a here we go again, you

know, grace be to God, and happy are you? And happy am

I? And you know, everything's okay, right, I mean, we're

human beings and and and usually we tend to skim or skip over what we

think we already know, we don't play so much of emphasis on it.

But really, what was Paul's let's learn something, okay, what was Paul's

relationship with the church at colosse You know that this was not a church that

Paul had started. You know, Paul didn't start this, So why should

you and I be interested in something that we didn't have a part to play

in. It's it's a question that that we we don't think about sometimes.

But you see, Paul was not like that. Where Paul was concerned.

He was interested in something for the Lord, even though he didn't have his

hand in it. And do you know that comes from the greeting and you

see there's always something to learn. So we talk about missions, and you

know a lot of the times it has nothing to do with what we have

started or have a hand in. I mean, how many of us are

interested that? Okay, I'll be honest, you don't put up behind Again,

how many of us are really interested in the many churches that are studying

in BECAUSI do we even know the names? We don't. But you see,

Paul was not like that. Paul had an interest in everything that was

done for the Lord and everything that was done for his glory. And this

is what we can learn from him. We should be interested. We should

learn to be interested in those things that don't necessarily begin with us, because

the work is never about us. So who started the church? At color

say it was appper Frus. I think that's the name. That's the way

to pronounce his name, you know. Anyway I get it wrong, It's

okay. You and I know how to read. It's in the scripture and

you know it's that guy, okay, Apple Prus Frus, Apper Frus or

Prus so well, that guy. Yeah, yeah, he started the church.

Now he started the church, and shouldn't he be the main one who's

concerned about it? You see, we and I are always thinking about ourselves.

I mean, that's the sad truth. Even is something somebody else is

doing. Grace and peace will all be with you. But out of sight,

out of mine? Can we have a mission? For missions? You

see? We always when we talk about missions, I can almost sense what

some of us or here we go again, go out to this place,

you know, in the jungle somewhere, share with some people one two days,

and then come back. And church are always talking about the same thing

over and over and again. We are missing it. We're not talking about

the inconvenience of going to someplace. We're not even talking about that place.

We're talking about the heart. And God always addresses the heart. So why

would Paul concern himself with a church that he did not start. And this

is where you and I we need to learn about this. We need to

start. And you remember my last message was a rather tight one, right

you know? And remember I added by saying you'll get through it. All

you got to do is love the Lord. Love the Lord, Love the

Lord, and don't stop loving the Lord. Because when you love the Lord,

you're thinking will always be right. But there's another part to loving the

Lord, and that part to loving the Lord is being involved in the work

that pleases him. You know, you and I when we go and meet

the Lord, he's never gonna ask us how much of money did you make

on your P and L. You were the CEO of the company, so

you know, uh, did your profits go up every year? I can

guarantee the Lord's not gonna ask that question. He will just ask you,

did you have a heart for the things that I had a heart for?

Ye? And that's why the Lord says many of us when we see the

Lord, we weep because the moment you see the Lord straight away, all

the things you did not know will come to mind first, and then you

say, okay, Lord, please forgive me, and he does Hey,

I understand this. I understand that it's not easy to go somewhere and share

with someone when you've got children, when you've got kids, when you've got

responsibilities, when you you know have got is choose at hand. But really,

missions, if you have a heart for missions, you'll be having a

heart for the work of God. Paul, and I'm not telling you don't

go, okay, But in this case Paul did not go. But what

did he do? He did something about it. There was active participation in

the church. What did he do? He wrote to the church, He

addressed the church. He addressed the church in his capacity as somebody important for

the Lord. So it's like this, if I were to write you a

letter and say you're doing a good job, you will just acknowledge, Okay,

I'm doing a good job. And I think five minutes after you read

the letter it's in the husband. But if the Prime Minister were to write

you a letter office, she'll let ahead you're doing a god a good job.

I can almost assure you that letter will be framed and put in the

middle of the living room, and not just that it will be blown up.

That's exactly what this is all about you know, so when we get

into this area of missions and I'll be sharing and showing some things which you

need to know that you have an impact. I remember I said this long

ago that every time and everywhere you walk, and everywhere you go, and

every person you talk to, you have an impact. In collosions one,

three to five, we give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord,

Jesus Christ, praying always for you. Hey, so at this point

of time you cannot go right? What did Paul say? He said that

we give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ,

praying always for you. Do we have a mission for missions? The reason

why I talk about Becassie and the churches because I'm like you, I don't

know what their names are. I know there about what fifteen ten, fifteen

twenty, but I don't know what their names are. But can we get

on our knees and say, Lord, this is a great work happening in

a country that's difficult to hear your word. And here you've got churches getting

involved and beginning to grow. God, can you give them grace? God?

Can you protect them? God? Can you look after them? Can

you provide for them? Do you know that that is a mission. Well,

let's not talk about becassie. How many of us knows how many churches

they are in England ex churches, Let's not talk about other churches. Let's

just talk ex church. How many churches in England? Three still consider United

Kingdom? Now, okay, let's let's not split hairs. Okay. Three

are we even praying for Pastor Dave who's out there all alone in a pagan

land? In case you think England is Christian, it is pagan. It's

a pagan land. Their roots go back to witchcraft. And do you know

until today they have not given it up. They will believe more about the

crap than they do about Jesus. So are we praying for those three churches

to break heart ground? Paul was saying, we give thanks to God and

the Father of the Lord, Jesus Christ, praying always And I liked the

next one verse four. Since we heard of your faith in Christ, Jesus

and of your love for all the saints. Do you know that Paul got

involved in the mission for the church at coloss the moment he heard that they

loved Jesus, The moment that he heard that he that they loved the saints.

Paul got involved. Wow, how wonderful is that? I went to

Singapore to study many many years ago. Every night, every night from about

nine o'clock, the pastors, the pastor, Pastor Philip Pin, Reverend Philipping,

he would be praying for people who were possessed. All right, that's

every night. That's a mission, right, because when you get when you

when you when you deliver one person, you get the whole family. Every

night I used to pray together with him from nine to about four or five

in the morning, go back to my hostel and have a shower and off

to school, come back and do the same thing again. I got involved

in the mission. Do I know these people? No? I mean,

will it really make a difference if I'm not there? Will the person still

get delivered? Yeah? Because Jesus delivers no terrence, you know. But

but that's not what Paul saying. Paul saying, get involved, and I'll

tell you what. There was this one guy. No matter what they did,

no matter how we prayed, the demon would not come out. So

the pastor said, okay, that's it for tonight. You go back,

get some sleep, and when we come back the next day, just tell

me anything that the Lord speaks to your heart. So I went back to

the hostel. I managed to get a little bit of sleep. And the

reason because my hostel was the neighbor of the church. Okay, it was

the church hostel. That's where I stayed. So I went back when to

sleep, and in my sleep I had a dream. And in the dream,

my hostel is on the third floor. My my room is on the

third floor. And those days that we wash our own clothes. Okay,

no washing machine, it's just a bucket, and so scrub, you know,

rub a dub dub, scrub and scrub and scrub. So that's what

we did. And I hung these clothes on the balcony and the belt,

you know, not over the balcony, but in the balcony. And in

the dream, my second uniform, the second uniform fell all the way down

to the ground. So even in the dream, I was thinking, this

is a little bit strange life. There's anything that's going to fall, it

should be the one closest to the to the side, right closest to the

railing. But no, it was a second uniform. Next day, I

came back to the past. Then I said, you know, I had

a dream to me. I thought it was a strange dream, said what

was it? And then I told him this story and I left it and

we prayed and prayed, didn't didn't come out. I went back to school,

and the next day when I came, he said, you know what,

Terrence. We went to the house and we were searching through his things,

and as we were searching through these things, there was a uniform.

The second uniform that we look fell to the ground. When we picked up

that uniform and we searched it, we found that this uniform was given to

him by a friend who wasn't really a friend, and in it was a

charm. So when the pastor removed that charm in Jesus name and burnt it

by fire, immediately the demon came out. So I am telling you,

can you make a difference. I mean, it was a silly dream,

but it helped because of the hope which is laid up for you. This

is verse five in heaven, of which you heard before the word before before

in the world of the truth of the Gospel, Paul is also praying in

hope. You and I we can pray for somebody else's hope to increase,

to grow, to prosper Hey, your life is a mission, but we've

been looking at it all wrong. Yes, we should go out because the

Bible says to go. But Paul in this time, in this particular case,

did not go. But he was still doing missions because he had a

mission for it. So can we thank God for somebody else? Oh?

I mean, you know, is it easy to praise God when you see

somebody else be blessed? And then you think to yourself when it is my

turn coming? Wrong thought? That's the thought when you see somebody being blessed,

you know what you do? Praise the Lord. I'm so happy he's

blessed. Lord, continue to bless him some more, and some more,

and some more till he cannot contain it. When the Lord looks at you

and he sees you doing this, what do you think that makes him feel?

It makes him feel very proud. This is my child. You see.

He did not ask for himself, but he asked for somebody else.

You may say this is missions, Yes it is, so that's somebody else.

But can we even pray for people whom we don't know? Would we

would we pray for people we don't know. In the early nineties, Russia

was a communist land. Do you know all around the world Christians prayed for

the fall of the communists in Russia? And guess what it fell? The

war of communism was broken. What you see in the world today is a

rise of communism. Do you know why I shared with you the last time

people have given up given up the love of the Lord for the love of

themselves. So the one thing that they were doing that caused a major shift

in the country, they're not doing now. And guess what that power is

beginning to come back. Can we pray for a people we don't know?

WI will be involved with the people? Why do you think when we do

missions we go out it's people we don't know. If you can bless someone

you don't know, you make the Lord very happy. It's easy to bless

somebody you know, right, because there's a chance he will bless you back.

Truner, Eh, today, I'll take you out for luncher one day.

I hope you take me out for lunch. You don't say it,

but your peler, because if every time you take this guy out for luncher

and you don't get a lunch and return, I guarantee you will stop taking

him out for lunch. Human nature. But you see, can you do

something for people you don't know? Because when you do something for people you

don't know, you expect nothing in return. It's the truest form of giving.

It is the truest form of giving. So you talk about giving money.

Great, you give money, the Lord says, you know, you

bless the Lord you know, and he blesses you back. So what about

when you give of yourself? Will he not bless you back? I'm sure

he will. That story that I told you earlier on about what I did

for praying, I will explain to you how this had an impacted Would we

get excited about someone else that is not us? You know this reverend film

be hanging. He told us a joke, say, most people when they

pray, they pray like this, Lord bless me, my wife, my

daughter, my son, us four and no more. And the old church

would laugh. Is that our prayer? If a prayer is only about us,

then we fall into the category of I think it's James would say,

when we pray, we pray wrong me and that's why we don't get And

Yet scripture says every time we ask the Lord in the name of Jesus,

he will give us everything, anything that we ask for, anything that we

believe in. For if we are asking faith, he will do. In

collosions one six to eight, I hope you're getting somethinger verse six, which

has come to you, and it is also in all the world and is

bringing forth fruit as it also among you since the day you heard and you

the grace of God in truth? Can we sense how connected Paul is with

the people he has never met. You know, the Bible says Jesus says,

I pray God that they will be one, even as you and I

are one. If we understand the power of this mission for prayer for a

people we don't know, guess what we are becoming one, just as the

Lord had prayed, So as you learn from Epper for us. I think,

then let's see his correct name. It's there, our dear fellow servant,

who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, who has declared

to us your love in the spirit. When you go for missions, am

I correct to say that the place you go, the pastor always talks about

his people, right the people he's ministering too, is that right? And

he's kind of proud. He's kind of proud. Okay. So who also

declared your love in the spirit. Okay, So now I'm gonna show an

example what I've been telling you. You know, I've been sharing with you,

and I told you your life has an impact. Right, Okay,

you can show the first photograph. Okay, this was me seventy pounds ago,

the one on the right. Now, that's me seventy pounds ago,

forty one years ago, forty one years ago. You see the guy on

the right. He is my good friend whom I stayed with in my final

year in Singapore. We were like brothers and his family to me was family.

Every night or every day when I go to school, I would share

with him and a group of friends what I did the night before by sharing

about how the Lord was delivering people from demons. I did this every night.

Every day. We would sit down and I'll be talking to them and

I'll be sharing with them. Okay when I left. When I left,

he wasn't yet a Christian. But you know I prayed for him and my

friends every day I was doing missions. I was praying that they would come

into the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Fast forward forty years.

Next picture, needless to say seventy pounds after. It's me on the right

and that's him on the left. You know what we were singing. We

were singing together. This was his fifty ninth birthday. This is last year

in August thirty. First. You know what we were singing. We were

singing gospel songs because he's come to the Lord. He was the one who

my lost contact with for twenty five years. And I checked and I tried

through all the internet, social media, and it didn't work. And finally,

on the day, I told the Lord Lord, I give up.

As as far as I know, he may not even be alive. I

would not waste my time looking for him anymore. Excuse me. And as

I lay my head on the pillow, God said, get up, go

and look for him. Now I did. I did everything that I always

do. When I got up, I found his name on the National Golf

Register. He's a single handicapper. I think he handicaps the top about three.

So because of that, I managed to research a little bit further.

I found a company that had a name similar like his. I called company

in the next day, they say, yeah, it's him. He has

retired two months ago. I said, do you have his telephone number?

I say yes, I said give him my numbers. Say I'm trying to

contact him. And a few minutes later I got that call. When I

gave up, that's when God took over and we connected again. And then

I find out all these things the Lord has blessed him. And here we

are singing gospel songs. Isn't that wonderful? It did not end there.

Next one, here this is a rubber plantation. I think it's about eleven

or twelve acres. So all these are rubber trees. They all belong to

him. You know why he did. He cleared two acres, cleared two

acres to you know what, build a church. This is his hat,

this is his heart, where he goes to live when he goes because it's

eight hours drive from Bangkok. So as they're building the church and he goes

there over the weekend, that's where he and his wife stays. Next picture,

I show you a different angle. So he's building the road. You

know, you can see laying the water pipes from wherever it comes from.

You know, in a while, maybe Okay, so you can see that.

You know what he does with the rubber tree. He's hired a group

of people. He says, you know what, you just give me a

half of it. Half you keep taking care of it. Get another opportunity

to share with people. Is it amazing. The next picture, he's building

a fish pond. You're gonna put a lot of fish because he is this

to be a place where churches can also come and relax somewhere up north,

probably near cheg May or check Ryles or I don't I can't even pronounce the

name. So he's doing this and look at it. Okay, next picture,

this next picture, this little thing, this is the start of the

church. Now, when he built his first church in Bangkok, it started

like that. Now the church, it's three hundred it's a beautiful building.

He built it himself. And after he built that, he built another four

churches, another three churches. So this is the fifth church that he's building.

My friend, whom I prayed for every day, whom I shared every

day what God was doing the night before. That's missions. Did his work

depend on whether I was there or not? Noh, you and I we

don't need to be there. To see it grow. But we need to

be there to plant a seed. We need to be there to start it

off. And after twenty five years, this is what is happening. You

know. The next picture, this is his pastor whom I've met. This

is his wife. When they first started the church, they had no people

in the little hut or that that's the beginning, Okay, no people.

After a few months, today they have twenty do to do visitation, praying

for people. You know, what is the rate of Christianity in Thailand?

Less than two percent? What an amazing field of work. But you see

it continues, it continues. You know when I talk with him and now

he's talking the Lord with me, How cold is that? That's what Paul

was so excited about because when he shared, you know, he probably he

shared with Epperprus Epaprus took whatever he learned and he went and started at church,

and when he heard about all the great things that are happening, it

really excited him. You have an impact. So when you go to that

mission, when you're asked to go to spend two or three days somewhere to

talk to a little kid, that little kid one day, maybe a girl,

right evangelists, maybe a great surgeon, maybe a great something. I

don't know. And when you talk to them, they will say, you

know, there was this person who came and he shared his story with me,

touched me, so had he changed my life. When we go to

heaven and we are hearing testimonies, you will be able to hear the testimony

of the lives you touched for as long as you have lived, and we

have eternity to hear all those stories, billions and billions of stories giving glory

to the Lord. Next picture, Okay, yeah, you see this guy,

this guy, Remember I told you there, I had a very very

rich classmate. This was him. It's from Indonesia. You know, in

school he was the only one who had a car. It was a Nissan

Bluebert. Those days are Nissan Bluebert was a was a big thing. And

you know in Singapore, if you own a car, you have arrived.

If you own a Countil in Singapore, they look up to you like as

if you're an MD. If you own a Mercedes Benzer, they think you're

a god. Because I know I am exaggerating, but in Singapore is so

difficult to own a car. Yeah, a car, and so as we

were leaving school, gives me his autograph book and I write something in it.

And I have never seen him again until he found me on the internet

and he contacted me and he says, guess what, Terrence, I'm a

Christian. Huh, why would he tell me that? Well, I can't

remember. I probably shared the Lord with him too. I probably shared those

same stories with him too, as I was doing to everybody, all right,

So I did not know that there was an impact, he said,

Terrence. You know, you know I was very well to do it.

Yeah, you know, he said. I had my own yacht, my

own private yacht, and I was out at sea and something happened, and

I was about to die with no help coming from anywhere. I remembered what

you wrote in my autograph book. Do you remember, I said, are

you joking? How am I going to remember what I wrote in your autograph

book? He says, you wrote these words to me. If ever you

run into trouble, call on the name of Jesus and he will come and

help you. At that moment, just before I was about to die,

I called on the name of Jesus, and he came on the water and

he helped me. You know what he did the moment he got back to

shore. He gave up all these riches to become a pastor. Only Sannah

multi millionaire. I think he's an all on Nissan. I I'm not mistaken.

But today you know what he's doing. He's pastoring, He's sharing Jesus

Christ with somebody else. You have no idea what impact you have when you

go on missions, and if you have a mission for missions, everybody you

see is a mission ground is a mission. Feel when you saw that seedy?

Why is it? Matthew twenty eight exists nineteen and twenty as we learned

from Apple for us, Paul is saying, there's a connection. There will

always be a connection to the believers in Christ. Always, there will always

be a connection in Jesus Christ. You go to any country in the world,

and if you find a group of Christians and you go, you'll feel

right at home. Why is that? Because it's a family that transcends international

boundaries. Okay, I shared this testimony coming back from Singapore in eighty two

when I had finished studying, and I had ten bags, ten bags with

a TV set and I caught the train in Tanjumpaka okay, let's opposite the

Singapore World Trade Center right now. I bought a second class ticket and don't

I had my friends to help me. We got all my stuff on the

train and then I sat in the cart and as we were going down,

I learned and I that's the Lord, I learned. I was on the

wrong cart. What was going to happen is that train was going to stop

up ahead and the train would disconnect those back carts because those back carts were

going to go to the East coast and not continue to care out. At

that moment, you pannic, what am I going to do? You know,

the train is not the easiest thing to walk, you know, it's

it's it's And I had to walk like about ten, ten, eleven,

twelve carts to the front, and I had ten bags, and I'm thinking

to myself, what am I going to do? I said, Lord,

help me. And then he turned my eyes to a group of youngsters sitting

across. I looked at them and they were memorizing scripture. I think the

scripture was as my heart pants my soul along even as my heart pants raised

from psalms, And they were repeating that over in no way I can still

remember that until today. I went up to them and say, you guys

Christians, right, and they said yes. I said, I need help.

Sure, what help do you need? I'm on the wrong cart.

Will you help me? All of them helped carry my bags all the way

to the front. I found some I'm cut in the front. They put

the bags all over the place, Thank God, good memory. The day

nothing was left behind, but I had no chair. I had to sit

on the floor for six hours in between two chairs because the guys put the

chairs back so they could sleep, and I'm sitting underneed here. That was

the last time I took a train Malaysian training. I don't want to think

anymore because oversall and I could count on family, even though I didn't know

that. It's not about them and us. There's no such thing in in

in God's kingdom. It's not about them and us. It's about we.

It's about we. We play our part together as one in a work across

mere geography. Excuse me, I'm sorry about that. I had a long

day yesterday, so my throat's a little bit horse. That's okay, I'm

almost done. So we play a part together, okay, as one not

governed by geography. So guys, the next time somebody asks you to go

on a mission, say yes, because you have no idea the kind of

story you will hear, maybe in twenty years time or twenty five years time,

what God has done through you Collosians one nine to ten. For this

reason, we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease

to pray for you, to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge

of His will in alwaysdom and spiritual understanding. So what do you pray for

people you don't know? Very simple? You pray that they may be filled

with the knowledge of His will. Why when they know what God wants,

they'll be okay, isn't it. Whatfore you want to pray for them they

have chance before you want to pray for them, they have tables. Whatefore

you want to pray for them to have sound system. Pray for them to

know God's will, because when they know God's will, all these things will

come. That's what Scripture says. You may be filled the knowledge of all

He's will and always them and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of

the Lord, fully pleasing to him, being fruitful in every good work and

increasing in the knowledge, increasing in the knowledge of God. So for what

reason? What reason do we pray unceasingly? You know, the Bible does

not tell us to pray repeatedly, repetitively. Ah, Lord, blessing a

Lord, blessing all, Lord, blessing all, Lord, blessed. They

can see two hundred times he'll be blessed. No, the Lord is not

telling us to do it. The Lord is telling us to pray unceasingly.

Lord. Today, I want to pray that they be blessed with the knowledge

of your will. Then tomorrow you think about something else. You know,

God, when your grace rest upon them, I see them growing. So

Lord, will you shower them with your your grace, your mercy every day?

It can be something different. It's not the same thing we always think,

or sometimes we think, or maybe I used to think unceasingly means repetitively.

No, So that gives you a lot of things to pray for.

Somebody gave you an ice cream today, he Lord, I was so blessed

by that ice cream. Lord, can you send someone to that church who

will bless them with ice cream? You think it's a ridiculous prayer. If

your prayer is for God to bless someone else. He will answer you.

He will answer you because God's about that. Remember I told you the story

where the card broken down and as I passed the Lord's and I said,

Lord, send someone to help that person. Now I already passed the road

right then the Lord said, yeah, I'm sending someone to help. Well,

Praise the Lord God, Thank you so much. He said, you

go, huh, yeah, you go. I had to make a big

turn to come back to that spot. Without even saying anything to these people,

I just opened my trunk, took out my jumper cable and say,

please open your boat. Click everything balmy scar started, took everything, see

you, and I drove off. That was the total of my conversition.

I didn't know how are you? Are you okay? No? Because I

was so I learned now. You know, when you pray and you ask

God for things, he gives it. When you pray for somebody else,

he does it. But don't be surprised if he uses you. So for

what do we pray for? People? Knowledge of His will to what worthy,

to be fully pleasing to him, to be fruitful in good works.

My friend is building churches. Next, say he wants to take his pastor

to Israel on his expense. I told him, it's a wonderful thing that

you do. I say, if you can do that, make sure you

do it quickly, because you have no idea how long more those borders will

be open. And that's not all. What he did was now his family

they are there. They come from a mainstream church, right, and he's

fifteen years born, fifteen years apart from his other siblings, so they doted

on him. They spoiled him anything he wanted to give him all through his

life. So he grew up quite entitled, right, But do you know

what he did for his family. He took all of them. And he's

got a large family man, wives and children, and at least the wives

and her husband would come up about fifteen to twenty people. He took them

all to Rome so they could visit all the places that meant something to them.

No. I told him, I say, I'm so proud of you

that you did this, because your brothers and your sisters as you were growing

up blessed you so much, and now that you have done this for them,

it is so wonderful. It's a great thing that you have done.

His sister, elder sister looked after him when she came down with cancer.

He took care of her, and I told him again, I'm so proud

of you. This is the right way. So you see, increasing in

the knowledge of Him causes them to do the right thing. You cannot do

the right thing selflessly without having Jesus together with you. Clusians one eleven to

twelve. We're coming to an end soon, strengthened with all my according to

His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering, with joy, giving

thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to be partakers in the inheritance

of the saints in the light, you know, strengthened with all might,

giving thanks to the Father. You know. The last statement is who has

qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance? Every Christian, every potential believer,

is qualified for an inheritance. Will you be a part of making sure

they actually get it? That's the way to look at it, because there's

no additional inheritance. Okay, what you're going to get, you're going to

get. You'll get nothing more than what you're supposed to get, So why

you want to keep You cannot keep to yourself. What doesn't belong to you,

share it, share it with others. So what is all this?

This can all be summed up in discipleship. Hey, Discipleship starts from the

moment somebody becomes a Christian. If you believe in the name of Jesus,

you believe that he died in he rose again for your sins. If you're

ask him to your heart to be a Lord and savior, he will come

in and he will save you. And you say yes. I believe discipleship

begins at that second, because every day is a learning experience to become a

better believer. So go therefore and make this diciples of old nations, baptizing

them the name of the Father, And I'm the Son of the Old Spirit,

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo

I am with you even to the end of the age. So a mission

for missions. If we think it's all about just going out, it is

that and more. It is about putting yourself in a position to impact somebody

else's life. You mean to say, little old me can do something.

Seventy pounds ago, I was a little old me. Now I'm not little

anymore. But you know what I did something when I was a little old

me. There was a little young mean now that I'm a bigger old me,

I am actually seeing all the fruit of that coming to pass. Hey,

don't you want those kind of testimonies in your life? Don't you want?

You know, when you connect with the friends that you shared with them

years ago, you'll be surprised what they're doing. You'll be so surprised.

Next time, maybe i'll share about the other two friends that which I told

you about. One that was healed of cancer who is now a missionary.

Right, he was healed by a cancer that almost everybody dies from, but

he's a missionary now. Elimabele has met him. And I'll talk to you

about the other friend of mine. So you see, God is good man.

You're gonna see so many And you know, there are so many more

people that I don't know about. So if the guy who became a Christian

because of something I wrote in its autograph book, I can't remember how many

autograph books I feeled when I was leaving Singapore. Why I talk about Singapore

is because I went to Singapore almost immediately after I became a Christian and what

was my theology? Then Jesus saves you because he loves you. That's it.

That's all that was needed to see so many lives change. So do

you think you need to be a preacher to get things done? No,

you don't need to be a preacher to get things done. You just need
