  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. So if you have your Bible, would you

  3. would you turn right now to josh chapter five. The title of my message

  4. today is really about taking off your senders around in our hearts. Josh chap

  5. To five, verse thirteen. You guys are jo To five, verse thirteen,

  6. Joshua five, verse thirteen. All right, it came the past when

  7. Joshua was by Jericho. You know, right, friends, Jericho. It's

  8. an enormous city, huge city, right surrounded by walls. Okay, So

  9. Jericho to us today is a very impossible task, right, unless you have

  10. an army bigger than the people of Jericho. Unless you have the first the

  11. ability to break the walls of Jericho is totally possible. So explain to you

  12. that Jericho is a like a spiritual impossibility that's in front of you right now,

  13. right It's it's totally impossible to break through it with our own natural strength,

  14. because you don't have the means and the ability to do it your own.

  15. So Joshua was in front of Jericho. The Bible says that he lifted

  16. the eyes and look and behold there was a man who so opposite him with

  17. a sword drawn in his hands. Very important that this, And Joshua went

  18. to him and said to him, are you for us? Are you against

  19. us? Are you for us? Are you ever sary? Are you for

  20. us? Or are you ever sary? Francis was an encounter between Joshau and

  21. the injury of the Lord. I pray that all of us here would have

  22. an encounter with God. When I say encounter God, not like Joshah,

  23. like a physical, like a physical collect like a physical physical injured praying in

  24. front of you. But you know what I mean when I say encounter meeaning

  25. say that God's presence. A lot of people talk about having an encounter.

  26. They want a physical manifestation. Well, some people do have that. I

  27. won't discounter that. Some people do have that, but majority of us may

  28. not. But that doesn't mean God doesn't speak to earth. That doesn't mean

  29. we can't enter the God's presence. Right. Just like someone asked me a

  30. question, how do I know God speaks to me? When I will hear

  31. preachers say God spoke to them? How do how? What does it sound

  32. like? So they use it would sound audible voice of God, but sometimes

  33. not the audible voice of God that you hear like I'm speaking to a microphone

  34. to you all. Sometimes to the word something is to the impression of your

  35. heart. So I pray that in your quiet time you have an encounter very

  36. important Christian. You must encounter God in your life journey. Friends, where

  37. was Joshah in front of Jericho? So in the moments and the most toughest

  38. part of your life, a Jericho war was in front of you. I

  39. pray that you have an encounter with a lot very important because you and I

  40. know that in life, not everything can be answered by your own connection,

  41. by your own by your own physical ability or whatever you have. It's true.

  42. I was asked a question by a student Monday, or rather a graduate

  43. student from married Top University in London, asking me, elder, I'm very

  44. self sufficient person. I'm very determined, very self sufficient person. You know

  45. I'm and also try to tell me that he's very smarter and therefore you know,

  46. whenever I made mistake, I try to analyze it. How many like

  47. that you may mistake, Try to analyze it and tell yourself that you never

  48. repeat the mistake. You make sure you you you, you're so determined to

  49. get it correct and therefore rely on your own strength and therefore ultimately to say

  50. that in my face of my life, how can I faith and trust in

  51. the Lord if you're there? Of you ask yourself there For example, I

  52. have money issue because I have got money in the bank. I don't have

  53. employment issue because I got a career in front of me. I don't have

  54. I have a try to try the life. And because you know you're likable,

  55. all right, so there is no need in the sense for their faith.

  56. You know what I'm parents sake. So therefore, friends, God in

  57. his mercy and grace would always bring us to a place whereby you cannot answer

  58. everything to your physical ability for example, or I just mentioned this now serves

  59. you well as an individual. But I know in everybody's art sometimes you'll get

  60. married, you find life, money, you get married. You can't apply

  61. that to your life, but no one. For example, if you're dating

  62. right now, those who are every dating you understand this. And those who

  63. are married. If your spouse or your girlfriend or boyfriend and the miss,

  64. how many of you guys like to analyze the mistake and tell your girlfriend how

  65. well I see someone laughing? Really, how not to repeat the mistake?

  66. You do oppose mistake analysis, coming up with proposal how not to repeat the

  67. mistake? Tell me, ladies, how many of you enjoyed the kind of

  68. like debrief by your boyfriend telling you that this you shouldn't do? All right,

  69. this even you should avoid. Now if you keep repeating mistake and you

  70. have more meetings to debrief, tell me, honestly, how many of you

  71. like that? I see the wid smiling there. I know you don't do

  72. that, right, Coco does it to you? Right? I understand,

  73. I know the other way around, all right? These days I can't,

  74. I can't. The guys could be the way are the girls like? You

  75. know? The guys, our guys quite relaxed on, right, The girls

  76. are little bit more sometimes, all right. Sometimes that's why there's there's more

  77. guys in next money because' very relax here, right? The lords kidding,

  78. just kidding anyway, you know, I mean not the moment when God introduced

  79. another element into the equation. It's beyond your control. And God will always

  80. introduce something that's beyond your control, something in your life you cannot control by

  81. your own wisdom. You cannot control by your own understanding. You just really

  82. can't. It's it will stretch you on friends. And that's why you always

  83. have a Jericho in front of you in your life and friends, because God

  84. will always bring us to a place whereby we need him more, not less

  85. of him. You'll need him more or less of him a lot of times.

  86. Believer, us Christians, we think that we can manage our problems.

  87. Friends, you can't. You can't manage all the problems because you are not

  88. made for problems. Someone say, man, you're not made for problems.

  89. You're not if you're made to worship Him. But because of life problems,

  90. you will come right. So therefore worse four thing. So the Angel of

  91. Lors saying, no, I am the commander of the army of Lord.

  92. I am the commander army of Lord. When you do your quiet time,

  93. God will always give you revelation. Correct. God will always want to reveal

  94. more of himself to you. Very important of a dynamic relationship. When you

  95. are in a relationship, you get to know more about the other person,

  96. not less, you know, not on the surface level, more intimate,

  97. more understanding. You know the person's character, behavior. So that's what the

  98. relationship does when you see your relationship with the Lord, it helps you to

  99. understand more of him. But a lot of time when people say I have

  100. a relationship with God, but the understanding of revelation of who God is gets

  101. very limited because they don't read their Bible. First, I'm not knocking any

  102. one of your right smile, Okay, Now there's not a coademic message to

  103. ask the best you're to read the Bible more. No, I just let

  104. me bring your on the journey to help you to understand. If we don't

  105. read our Bible, therefore, where do we get our understanding of God?

  106. If we don't read the word of God, where do we get our understanding

  107. of God? Then? Right? And this the danger of modern day Christianity.

  108. Number one, we get it from five minutes stupid from Facebook, a

  109. preacher message being cut out into four minutes. You read it. Wow,

  110. that's one. I know how people fit themselves. Secondly, I know people

  111. from their theology of who God is to the sound they say right, we

  112. know more or the songs be saying rather than the will of God. Now

  113. right or wrong? Friends, I pray that I say is wrong because when

  114. you see the lyrics just start you see that the child was one for sacrifice.

  115. God is a human sacrificer because there is no fullness understanding of it,

  116. you know what I mean. That's why it's very important why we need to

  117. read God's work because it helps us to understand God better. A lot of

  118. people say God spoke to me. God say this to me. God revealed

  119. this to me. Right, But if you ask them one step further by

  120. asking them, so, have you been really God's word? You'll find consistently

  121. it is a no one because God must be consistent in all your decision making.

  122. For example, if you choose to date a person right, relationship is

  123. very big. You're who you did really mix or break youman? Can I

  124. just share this because I've been doing marriage counseling for the longest time. I

  125. don't know people who successful marriage, people struggling through their marriage, and people

  126. who are divorced. It's not fun on friends. In the dating life of

  127. friends, it's like this, have you pray about it? First question?

  128. As counselors, we asked, have you paid for about it? Then you

  129. say that when I say pray about it, not to pray where they want

  130. to get involved, pray about this person you're on the day, how much

  131. pray? Yes, you must ask Lord Lord, is this the right one?

  132. If it's the right one, please give me confirmation. Very important because

  133. you do not want to come to a place your life. God, why

  134. do you on earth do you bring me this guide to my life? We

  135. blame God for things bad, things happened, right, but we think when

  136. when when things are good? See, I got a good eye for to

  137. choosing life and no one right. So the good you take, the good.

  138. You take your part because you're wise and you're smart. The best you

  139. say, why on earth do you give me this guy? Or give me

  140. this girl? All right? So therefore, friends, if you ask a

  141. person, the person will just say, here, I pray about it.

  142. But you know, friends, prayer is not just a physic act. It's

  143. a spiritual act, right, same as reading the Bible. If a person

  144. don't read the Bible on the regular basis, you know that prayer life is

  145. not consistent as well. Can just say that. That's why it's very important.

  146. Everybody wants an encounter, but nobody wants to do the quiet time.

  147. Everybody wants an encounter, but nobody wants to do it. A quiet time

  148. nobody wants to read the word. I understand, Okay, the Bible could

  149. be very dun It's easier to read physics than Bible. Right, and said,

  150. no, no, seriously, it's true. I'm not knocking anybody down.

  151. Sometimes it could be true because when you read I'm reading the Book of

  152. Joshah, right, Josha first, very exciting, all right, Conquest and

  153. stuff that comes the division of the land, title to the different tribes.

  154. You get lost or you know, like you divide, like Lord, why

  155. do you want us to know? Like who gets what, tries gets what

  156. portion, and stuff like that. The question is, how can this apply

  157. to me? It's not like, Lord, you're giving me a piece of

  158. lead. If you see your name in the Bible, God probablys you.

  159. Let's say, for example, said, oh God, you get a piece

  160. of lead, you claim it, Okay, you put it on, you

  161. blow up the scripture as a wallpaper. Right, But it's very different.

  162. Right, So therefore, sometimes I understand that, But that shouldn't stop us.

  163. I'm there. There is the reason why God put in there, but

  164. we just have not found the key to unlock it, all right. So

  165. therefore the army of the Lord reveals himself. The Angel reveals himself to Joshah.

  166. Right now, what happens after the revelation? What happens after God revealed

  167. himself. Joshua did not emmiliate on Facebook. That's what a lot of people

  168. does his Whenever God gives you an individual revelation, you find it. People

  169. like to write everything on Facebook. One now, nothing wrong with that,

  170. Praise God. But can I just bring you deeper in what Joshua did Joshua

  171. and verse four they said, and Joshua fell on his face to the earth.

  172. Joshua fell on his face to the earth. Every time God reveals himself

  173. to you, there must be humility. There must be a recognition that he

  174. is Lord. That's why the Bible says into the Lot's prayer, right,

  175. our father will art in heaven. Hello be your name. You recognize someone

  176. you're speaking to who has hired authority. That's why what you think that Joshah

  177. felt on his face? Not just because this is the injured of course,

  178. friends, when I say injured, if you see a ghost, obviously you

  179. be a frightened. You'll be running away some of your right I know just

  180. by saying why do you see a ghost? Out there just by Holy water.

  181. See it wats too many horror movies out there. First you see us

  182. future being. Of course you be a fear but I joseh fell on his

  183. face to worship. That's what revelation does. God reveal himself to you.

  184. Ultimately, what happens, transformation comes. It is the way we worship goes

  185. deeper because there is the words that a deeper understanding of who God is.

  186. This is what I'm also trying to point out the moment next time you sing

  187. a song. Sometimes why we don't connect fully is because there is no revelation

  188. of God in that light in our life. Why we relate to songs that

  189. when the song speaks and describe God as a savior because we have experienced many

  190. times in our life we in its saving. For example, you're in the

  191. big mess, You've been crying out the Lord and God comes free. When

  192. you sing songs about him being a savior, you can identify, you relate

  193. to him as a savior. But what happened If there's a song about mission

  194. us, about God, please, if you can use anyone, use me

  195. while we can sing the song. We know the tune, we know how

  196. it's sounds like, but there is no revelation heart, because there is no

  197. submission. See, revelation must always bring us a face of submission, very

  198. important in your journey of a Christian person. Submission. George Chaffell on his

  199. face to what to worship? And this is the next question, He asked

  200. the angel of the Lord, what does my Lord say to his servant?

  201. Come on, what does my Lord say to his servant? We have lost

  202. the hour of asking God, what is it that you want me to do?

  203. What is it that you want me to do? Is now it's turn

  204. the other way around? Lord, this is what I want you to do

  205. now. I'm not knocking anybody like say again, I'm not the can't anybody

  206. down. But I truly find in my journey of as a believer that sometimes

  207. we need to ask a lot for things. I understand, but there has

  208. to be a moment I'll time, by God, what is it that you

  209. want me to do? Our faith depends on it. Our faith depends on

  210. it. Friends, one day you'll be a parent, you'll get married,

  211. you have a family. How would you lead your family? How would you

  212. lead your children? If not? It starts right now. You got to

  213. see God is real in your campus life. To know that God is real

  214. as a young working adult. To know that God is real when you become

  215. a young workinger and a newly wed. You got to see God is real

  216. when it comes to a newly wed with kids. Because God, friends,

  217. it's consistent. He's not just alive in your campus years. I find that

  218. a lot of times when peoples of a lot, it's always doing the campus

  219. years. We served a lot, a lot, we serve got a lot

  220. during the campus years. Comes you're working it out. You don't understand the

  221. demands of my boss is crazy. It's true. I'm not knocking at It's

  222. very true these days with whoever discover handful. If I can turn back the

  223. clock, I say, you know what you have done right now? Because

  224. everybody work extra heart right now. Your boss can just reach you anytime he

  225. wants right now. Why did you invent last? I want to call people

  226. afriends. You have to wait either at a public food or at your household.

  227. Okay, something you have never understood what it means without I'm oh,

  228. all right. I used to wait beside a public food before for my friends

  229. who call me. Because you don't do not want to hook up the line

  230. at your house. So a lot of things get excess these days. A

  231. lot of what demands comes in. But if you look at the Bible,

  232. Joshua became the prime minister. No, no, just Joseph to Pharaoh.

  233. He didn't go to a management school, he didn't get his MBA, he

  234. did not get his PhD. Yet the Bible says Pharaoh trusts him so much

  235. to enable him to manage. It can't be then when God puts a story

  236. in a Bible, or this story of oh, that's just Joseph in a

  237. Bible that said that's so many thousand years ago, right, it's not applicable

  238. now. It can't be friends. It doesn't mean that just because you have

  239. no experience before, you cannot ask God to annoy you for it. You

  240. hear what I'm saying. So therefore, Joshua asked, in your Lord,

  241. what is it that you want me to do? I pray in your quiet

  242. time that will also be your prayer God, what is it that you want

  243. me to do at this face of my life? First, I'm not asking

  244. you to be ato to be carrying stuff. No, every phase of your

  245. journey in life that you can ask Lord, Lord, this face, this

  246. station of my life, what is it that you want me to do?

  247. You know? A couple of months ago, about one month class ago,

  248. there was a speaker that came to eight am service. She owns a hospital.

  249. She owns a hospital. She owns physic a physical hospital as a founder

  250. CEO of the hospital. She made this, not promised a lot, but

  251. she just wanted to. She recognized how much a lot has blessed her in

  252. a journey of life. She was without a degree. She came out to

  253. work as a thirding, you old girl, third thing, you're old girl,

  254. because a family or support. I got to work to support my family,

  255. to give my brother a brighter future. Let me just go out there

  256. and work so that my brothers have a bry the future. I'll pay the

  257. price. And through a journey of life she came to know the law and

  258. she and God enable her to speak to by this hospital. She bought a

  259. hospital. And anyway, what I'm trying to say is this that ultimately in

  260. her journey, she told almost every church area pastor, as long as you're

  261. a full time pastor, please coming for a blood check on us. I

  262. will She pays the bill by herself. She underwrites it under her name.

  263. They put on her account. You must recognize what is it that God wants

  264. you to do? Friends, Because many times your journey, you can just

  265. go to your twenty four this year, nextual. It could be it's just

  266. two more weeks, twenty five, so you tomorrow weeks you're forty nine,

  267. very fast, you know, very fast. So therefore, what is it

  268. God that you want me to do? This phase of my life? Very

  269. important? So this was your short and this is what the angel Lot said.

  270. My iver was fifteen. Then the commander of the of the army of

  271. us say, think of your senders of your feet, Take the centers off

  272. your feet, take your senders of your feet. Think the centers of your

  273. feet. Friends, many times in life, when God challenged you to do

  274. something, it's always within your decision or we always always within your reach.

  275. It's also something that's remotely for for example, Oh, God asked me to

  276. give one million ring it for example, but I don't have one million,

  277. so there's not within your reach. Okay, God speaks to you always.

  278. If God is dealing with you about your attitude, for example, you can't

  279. say, but God, you must understand where I am today. My attitude

  280. is because my parents change my parents and you change me. No, so

  281. they the senders of our new friends. It's always reading your reach when God

  282. challenges, always reading your decision, not something else, something as far for

  283. example, or I'm spiritually dry for example, I'm not being fed, I'm

  284. not I'm not receiving. Therefore must be changing church. Okay, for example,

  285. a right must be changing church. M hm, yes and no?

  286. Why I say yes and no? You must get your edit to correct first?

  287. Are you even doing your quiet time? Are you even reading the Bible?

  288. Not? First? Are you even praise? Seeking the Lord first before

  289. putting everything else on the exceller? Right, the army of the Lord did

  290. not say, Josha, this is what I want you to do. Kill

  291. slaughtered and take off the centers of your faith. From where you're standing,

  292. it's holy ground. Right the moment your apply God word, friend, that's

  293. something for you. Then you need to give up one. See a lot

  294. of Christians don't like to give up stuff because we are hordest. Come on

  295. right now, your we are hordes. Come out. It's true, and

  296. we like the hot stuff one right for example, Okay, some of you,

  297. you're not you. You keep the pos you do take away, you're

  298. keeping it. Some of you. Maybe you're still keeping your primary exercise books.

  299. Sav you are still keeping your ex boyfriend or girlfriend stuff given to you.

  300. But you book up a long time ago, you on right, instead

  301. of giving up friends. I mean you book up relationship for five six years

  302. ago, but it's still keeping it. There was a brother in our church

  303. and sh your not name names, book up with his girlfriend, book up

  304. with his girlfriend, but still keep a pillow. Uh yeah, a pillow,

  305. pillow, a pillow, a pillow right given by your fIF for almost

  306. five years though, elder, it is just a pillow. Come on,

  307. it's just a pillow. I heard someone's the xboy give like a computer before.

  308. It's just a computer. I can use it, but I need a

  309. computer. Friend. Is not just a computer. It's not just a pillow.

  310. That's emotional attachment. Come on. She drank, she drag it out,

  311. she danged the word. Come on. But if you, if you

  312. ever have a favorite export, give you one million and give you to the

  313. church. I'll sanctify for you. Skidding, just kidding this kid, just

  314. kidding you guys, you guys, are to say a lot of times we

  315. keep stuff. You're holding stuff. Come on, we're supposed to let go

  316. because if you don't, God cannot depox it in in your hearts as well.

  317. Come on, if we need bonus and courage to remove all the centers

  318. around our heart, friends, because what do you think that God spoke to

  319. Josha, be bold and courageous to follow me? Think about it? Why

  320. did God's pok to Joshah be boy and courageous. Because it's easy to not

  321. to change. It's easy to remain, go incognito, go under the radar.

  322. Right, have the form, but not the power. You come to

  323. church, but no transformation. That's why sometimes we worl the word is that

  324. we feel so dry in our life because no transformation. Ma, you woke

  325. up from just yea, you have a good surviyce you know, preacher,

  326. share a few jokes and this stuff like that, you have lunch, fellowship

  327. high buying this stuff. Then that's it. That's the end of Sunday.

  328. That's the end of a religious duty for you. But there has to be

  329. more in our life, friends, because when God asks us to remove the

  330. sentence, come on, it's reading your reach what is it that God's been

  331. challenging you right now through your journey that you need to remove to embrace more

  332. of the Lord. Because where you is holy ground. If you want the

  333. victory of Jericho, you need first of all come on to remove the centers

  334. of your heart. God did not give Joe show the blueprint or the strategy

  335. how to take down Jericho until unless you remove the senders. Think about it.

  336. Many times your life you're praying for a virtue, will be praying,

  337. you'd be fasty, be praying good. But there's something in our heart that

  338. God is speaking to you to deal with. It could be let's say,

  339. for example, editude. It could be unforgiveness, right, but I know

  340. if unforgiveness, but if you dig deeper. Right when you mentioned the person's

  341. name, there is a reaction anybody can accept. Dispers it disperson and God

  342. wants to minister to you. Friends. You know why because many times a

  343. life we just carry things in our life with no value. Want Sava are

  344. renting rooms. You understand this. You're renting your renting room. Right.

  345. The more your cumulate harder for you to move, the more you cumulate harder

  346. for you to change, it's hard. So if you're married, savia are

  347. collecting rubber bands right now, because every rubber band is so precious. Because

  348. you don't buy one, you buy one backup rubber bands. You do not

  349. know what to do with it, but you you keep buying apout take away.

  350. You're not so you do do what you want. You're smiling. You

  351. understand because our family members that you have rubber bands, is you keep all

  352. the rubber bands on? Right? You could have so ugly it's it's it's

  353. hard, So courage to remove? What is this very important for us to

  354. remove the centers of our hard friends? What's God after? What is God

  355. after? It is after obedience more than anything else. Think about. It

  356. is after obedience more than the First Semuel chapter fifteen, Verse twenty two,

  357. First Semi chapter fifteen, most twenty two. Then for you to cheap money

  358. to upgrade your computer M three seven thousand only fifty thirty sky All right,

  359. first see first Semul chapter fifteen, verst. Twenty two. Right you guys

  360. there, Okay, has the lot the light in burn offerings and sacrifice?

  361. Come on? Has the lot the light in burned off rings and sacrifices?

  362. As in obeying the voice of the Lord, and behold, obey. It

  363. is better sacrifice to hit the fellow rams than to hit than the fellow rams.

  364. What do the scripture try to tell us? Friends, obedience is better

  365. sacrifice? Cry not is that correct? Now? Cand of shed this to

  366. you when I was reading through this this wife, Friends, any form or

  367. sacrifice is still a sacrifice, meaning can just pay it. In modern day

  368. language, serving God is a sacrifice because if the wake up, but you

  369. prepare yourself, it is a sacrifice. So any form, but sacrifice does

  370. cost something. And that's why people say, don't you know I'm paying the

  371. price. This is what the young said. I am paying the price to

  372. serve the Lord, buy my jacket to serve, dress up and everything like

  373. that. All right, I'm paying the price, and God should understand because

  374. I'm paying the price, just like the Bible says, a great sacrifice,

  375. Come on, sacrifice it those this cost money. You have to buy a

  376. living anyone to sacrifice. Unto the Lord, it does cost something. So

  377. you're paying the price. But God is asking us this morning. A lot

  378. of people are paying a price, but not necessarily in doing what I want,

  379. You're really paying a price for something. But the what you're paying for

  380. it's not what I asked you to pay for. And that's why. Why

  381. isn't that the reason why somebody go so frustrated? You are really paying a

  382. price, realia, really paying a price. You're your journey paying a price,

  383. really saving God, You're making like going to home something, it is

  384. paying a price right because of the traffic jams and and different things. Borrowing

  385. home Leader seeting for one and a half hours there, begin smiling there like

  386. after he has to repair Leader, I think you hope lead off for luncha

  387. right, who's home? Leader? Sem, She's fine? Okay, cool,

  388. birthday, big gumbled lady kick okay, get something that right? So

  389. paying the price away? Everybody's paying the price. Of problem is is that

  390. we've focused so much on paying the price. Isn't it true we focus on

  391. paying the price, but not as much as obedience? Lord, is this

  392. what you want me to do? Think about that, I'm paying the price.

  393. But God said, yeah, you can be the price about your attitude.

  394. Come on, you can be serving the lot in the extreme. But

  395. just because someone played the wrong note, you get so angry, You get

  396. so angry, cannot worship God the ready after that, just because the backup

  397. singer or the worship leader cannot see in key all the time, you get

  398. so like how on earth? Right? You get so fixated? I don't

  399. know how. Maybe you like green concert. You're going concert. Imagine you

  400. like going concert. You're like going concert, right, imagine right now you

  401. pay whatever price you pay. Right, the person beside you left, right,

  402. fright and center sing off key, off key all the way, really

  403. terrible. You understand you you watch a lot of concert on YouTube. By

  404. something you hear a person really awfun Now tell me honestly, right, you

  405. feel like killing the other person around you right, not to enjoy the concert.

  406. So you were smiling readly because you understand you went to concert like that.

  407. My wife is like that. My wife. I like to look for

  408. videos of people seeing off keewan to my wife because she cannot take it on.

  409. She says, please stop it. Say no, this is how I

  410. think it. So I want you get I think. Yeah. There was

  411. a week service that my wife was reading worship. I was standing beside her.

  412. There was a guitarist, so we sing our grace like faithfulness right,

  413. so we all just signed sad we come on those you can see. Can

  414. you just sing unto the lot carrying right now? Right now, come on

  415. right, you just sing under the lot right like greaties. So I can't

  416. sing in keyband. So my wife was she was trying so hard to hear

  417. the guitarist key I was seeing very loud. She was like, you know

  418. how hard is in the worship the Lord, not with your hose kissinging.

  419. That is why I'm trying to get that. A lot of people sacrifice,

  420. man, just because something is there and God wants to deal with it.

  421. You're not dealing with it. And after that what happens beform elitist mentality.

  422. You know, we pay the price or you're never paid the price. We

  423. pay the price. We were here early at eight a m. We set

  424. up every check, we wipe out every check, We sanitize the whole room

  425. while you guys are still sleeping. Right, you heard this before, and

  426. I'm sharing real stuff with your sol It's not it's not it's not something you

  427. haven't heard before. Right, Well, you're just having fun and games.

  428. We were doing everything else, making sure that every school is in the right

  429. shape so that you're you barbecue. The timing is all correct stuff like that,

  430. and this happened. We show the thing to the other person. You're

  431. not paying the price. I am paying the price. What's God after friends?

  432. It is after the heart's at day of the day. You could be

  433. paying the price but not paying the price of your heart. Come on,

  434. look at the scripture again. Burn offree all external come on right now.

  435. Burn offres are all external. You can have interne offerings on obid us internal

  436. but external expression. It's just eternally first external expression. Many times the heart

  437. is the same us as well. Why why is it there? Sometimes people

  438. say that I love you, but the heart They're not even really to set

  439. it down. While I am a girlfriend and that I have maybea there are

  440. better options out there. You cannot friends. If your partner finds out rend

  441. you definitely really will pray for you. Your con be up there really true.

  442. So burn off frees come on, a lot of people pay the price

  443. externally, but internally. Now pay the price. That's tumor's God after gods,

  444. after the first all come on, you think about your Angie of lot,

  445. appeal to your angury of the lot, appeal to Josh of all the

  446. things he could have said, that he just said, please remove your senders.

  447. Maybe it's an Asian Asian injured. Remove the bastic of your shoes before

  448. you come to my house. Right you think about it? Of all of

  449. this, if you're right, if you're Jeosha, if you're Josha worshiping the

  450. lot wore so intimate revelation, so encourage your please remove your senders. Huh,

  451. God, this is the easiest thing I could have done. You know,

  452. if you ask me to go and that could a ram find for your

  453. ram out there, I'll do it. It was circumcission as all I was

  454. to do. But remove the shoe wall. Remove your shoe friends. I

  455. got another two points, but maybe if I can't invite it, this the

  456. won you have finished the other two. But courage to remove the senders.

  457. Many times you don't want to deal with it because it's ugly, it's hurtful.

  458. There's a lot of pride, lots of ego. There's a lot of

  459. times whereby we find ourselves being challenged because we always want Jericho to fall down,

  460. but we don't want to remove the senders. Think about it. We

  461. one God's blessing, but we don't want to obey and this is how I

  462. always pains it. Many times we review Christianity as a good luck embulet in

  463. our wallet. We just keep itsc here because you one got blessing Mr.

  464. Right. Most of you are baptized here. You understand this if you have

  465. been Baptist before. Right, the baptizer will ask you this question, do

  466. you confess that Jesus Christ is puts a lot in Savior, personal Lord,

  467. personal law, la and Savior. No baptizer I've ever seen, ever asked

  468. that baptistess candidates. Do you confess that Jesus Christ as your best friend,

  469. as your personal law and savior Lord? And many candidates and the baptism poo.

  470. Of course, by the time they say yes because emotions, I have

  471. not seen any Baptistic candidate in THEO. No one, friends, imagine right

  472. now you're all getting getting getting reading we bought the baptized, right, and

  473. uh, and the baptizers and the baptis and say lah, why am my

  474. God? Why am I here? Right? No, but they will say

  475. yes. But after the few months after that, right, the yes is

  476. being revealed whether or not truly he is your Lord and Savior. That's why's

  477. very important for us to need to remove the centers of heart because it keeps

  478. us alive, it keeps our faith a life. This removed the centers around

  479. your heart helps you to every phase of your life. Now for the a

  480. this year, I got a privileged right now taking care of my dad.

  481. My dad is seventy eight, and right now he's seventy eight, and he's

  482. also having memory loss and this stuff like this. A couple of days ago,

  483. call me up panicking, I lost my car. I couldn't find my

  484. car. I just lost it. Being the only child or whether his child,

  485. We've got other I got other two siblings not in Malaysia, but being

  486. the only one left in Malaysia, it's the most like asking I said.

  487. I was like, Lord, why didn't I just said, the survey oversee

  488. is the right. So the other sibling get take care of it. Whoever

  489. first leve the country get the option of returning back the last. I have

  490. to take care of parents anyway. So I was sustaining, I just died.

  491. I'm sorry, I got to go right now. My dad lost his

  492. car, and I was just thinking to myself like oh God, like you

  493. know, like okay, now mind just being a police for what to do

  494. laws just put the cow need less and less and less than a year oh

  495. driving on the way that cost me out. I found it a part of

  496. the wrong place. It happens to friends. It happens when you're dealing with

  497. older people. It happens because they couldn't retain memory. Why I'm sharing this

  498. to you is this that it's never easy. You can either complain because if

  499. you're pick of your life, when you see that you've got things going on

  500. in your life right and I look at it, I say, Lord,

  501. thank you so much for this prelation honor to call my dad. I no

  502. have a close relationship my dad. One when it is growing up, no

  503. agents. That's very quite hard, same but not hurt one. I saw

  504. the put foot on the table. That's the act of love and the provision

  505. and the the and the communication to you, I love you. Food on

  506. the table is the way of saying I love you. So I never I

  507. remember that those time passes. That one time I had I stay all night

  508. with my dad. We checked out till one name in the morning. I

  509. said to my conversation, my deadth for two hours after homes occurring to my

  510. tenures of being with him. She must understand. Friends, if God doesn't

  511. deal with you of the issues of the heart, to remove the sentence of

  512. heart, why would you can go through this process? Why is it me?

  513. It's so troublesome, It is so hard, It is difficult. Sim

  514. me the job as well. If only I got a better boss, if

  515. only the pay is better. Friends, I cannot encourage you to pay will

  516. get better. But it got to be first to do with our hearts,

  517. because otherwise you develop a conforteuousness spirit, which the Bible says that it's like

  518. idolat you, like if only I can get the bus's job, It doesn't

  519. stop with the job on you, no, friends, it also goes on

  520. if only I get the car. Everybody's not driving evy car you got.

  521. I'm just driving my can't chill. The only battery I have here is my

  522. spam battery. Think about it. You stay in the same seven Hunger squarefet

  523. apartment. Everybody can have tap to go up the leaf on yours. It's

  524. like anybody can work. Can you really and your leaf area? You understand

  525. I'm trying to say, because after a while, friend, you get so

  526. sucked in. It doesn't stop it just physical belongings. If only my wife

  527. or my girlfriend can be like like the other person, kinder to me,

  528. then maybe my relationship will be better. It goes on, friends. If

  529. God doesn't deal with our hearts a love, it reveals after that. That's

  530. why Bibles just remove the senders first. It's their friends. Come on,

  531. it's not the injured of Lot. Tell Yoshah, you're sure your wife is

  532. a problem. That's why you're like that. He didn't see that, you

  533. know, remove the senders your wife send us is a problem. No,

  534. Sometimes I tell you why we're so hard to remove. We're very comfortable with

  535. it. We're very, very very comfortable with it. Serving the Lot is

  536. never easy. Can I just say this? Never easy to serve the Lord,

  537. never easy to follow him. That's why I was reading the Bible again,

  538. I mean reading Joshua again. I realized, even to the end of

  539. Joshuah's life, he was telling the people of Israel, be both encourageous to

  540. follow the Lord. You never hear the word both encourageous being mentioned so many

  541. times in the Bible, accept in the Book of Joshua. It caused me

  542. to realize these friends that to claim God's promise. You need bonus and courage,

  543. bonus, encourage to believe, to trust God. Can I extreme up

  544. on the stage right now and I want the minister to your because I know

  545. the lot is here. He wants to just miss it to your hearts.

  546. Some of you are in the place whereby you have been so disappointed before.

  547. Kind of cities is not is very not sure to be disappointed because you have

  548. expectation. You have expectations different things, promises that was supposed to be kept

  549. not kept. And you are the place of disappointment or discourage, maybe because

  550. you could be in the place of being the word is the disadvantage. But

  551. whyever, your life journey is friends, I want to encourage you. God

  552. is no man's death. He's good to all. I was reading a story

  553. and I was catching up on my friend's story something we know him Bram Kumar,

  554. who recently on his way to the airport supposed to fly off to another

  555. country for missions. On the way to the airport in Australia, he felt

  556. just he couldn't Breathe couldn't breathe at all. Decided that where they got to

  557. just go straight to the hospital. When he arrived the hospital. Friends,

  558. he passed out. Doctors said that he had the cardiac arrests major heart attack.

  559. Has to revive him. Doctor stuse the word we almost lost him.

  560. He's married with his wife. They almost lost him, so immediately view him

  561. for operation, revived him for operation. He woke up after being operated on.

  562. And you just say that that God is so good. Friends, I

  563. want to encourage you. You could be a disappointment this courage. You're asking

  564. a lot why but you never know how. The Lord leads on friends,

  565. because trust on his goodness. Can just say this, You got to trust

  566. on his goodness. He is constant, He is alphon Omega. He doesn't

  567. change. No economy will change his heart towards you. No boyfriend or girlfriend

  568. ever broaks your heart. That he is the type will break your heart as

  569. well many times. No journey. We think that God is like a human

  570. lover, knows not he is not. He's beyond that. He sees us

  571. through a worse, worse, worse decision we could ever meet in your life.

  572. Yet He's still faithful. You must know, friends, because you are

  573. the very primary life. Because the love of your life decision right now?

  574. How you see God is so important because many times you just think faith is

  575. just feeling. I believe in God is more than that. If you truly

  576. understand what faith is, that's why the Bible says be your faith can move

  577. mountains. You must understand that you know all that we have even today,

  578. even examine meeting in this place, all the materialized just because we have a

  579. rich donor and behind the financing everything right extras. We never had a rich

  580. person in our church. One or two well to do one, but no

  581. majority ninety nine percent us but true, a simple act of giving from the

  582. very start with three percent. To read this right now, it's only because

  583. of the Lord. If we could do God could do it for a church,

  584. can do it for an individual. You must understand this very important principle.

  585. God is no man's debtor. Savil could be hurt before. I want

  586. to courage you remove their centers of hurt in your life. I mean,

  587. be honest. Come and be honest with the Lord, not with may be

  588. with the Lord. Deal with this surrendered before the Lord and the cross.

  589. See God, I was so hurt before. Take an advantage. I just

  590. saw a beautiful picture recently of a reconciliation between a fifty five year old son

  591. and a seventy year old dad. That was very shucktar. And it was

  592. growing up every mystic school, every mystic school, you know, family that

  593. is right challenging family, every mystic school. But yet recently I saw a

  594. picture of them hugging each other. Forgivenesses flow in the family. That can

  595. only be God. The sister texts me and say, I'm so glad my

  596. brother and my dad was hugging that cant because you have to deal with the

  597. Sanders in our hearts. Friends, Then you see the blessing begin to flow.

  598. Why the blessing don't flow is because something gets stucked and family gets stuck.

  599. We don't see a brick through. But you, right now just allow

  600. God to just walk deeper in the hospital, I asked you to stand right

  601. now. I want to pray. I want ask you to come out of

  602. the front because you know, I truly believe that it's not just about coming

  603. to the front. Where you're at right now, Where you're at right now,

  604. God wants to deal with your heart where you're at right now. God

  605. wants to minister to you, wants to you to experience more of Him where

  606. you are right now. God wants to help you, to encourage you.

  607. Say, come on, it's not over yet. Those your two trees.

  608. It's not over yet. It's not over yet. It is not over yet.

  609. Allowed God to just encourage you this morning. Come on, if there's

  610. some of you who's been holding things on and been holding things with a certain

  611. future, allow God to speak, Allow God to minister is now the connolences

  612. recently. The brother passed away was the father of our member from the Menu

  613. Community Church. His life journey was so interesting. He used to debort anything

  614. in a black and saying the black meaning to say that any form of He

  615. used to be alone shop. He used gangsterism, that darkness, anything in

  616. darkness that we did before, until someone one of his invited him for lunch.

  617. The lunch is now to be an e vandalistic lunch. He gave his

  618. heart to Jesus the very day and the very very the very moment, the

  619. very day. His life mission to tell people about this saving grace of his

  620. Lord Jesus Christ, to share the light with all his friends, all of

  621. his friends, every one of them that were in the area of darkness,

  622. in the area of of of of of those activities he shared, invited them,

  623. set out with them, shared the love of Jesus with them. Friends,

  624. that's what happens when you allow God to deal with you to remove all

  625. the sanders, allow him to see. And that was the most beautiful set

  626. off I could ever see as a casker was going in to the criminatorium part

  627. there all it's Fortundren. We're singing praises, dancing because my dad left to

  628. dance and sing before the Lord. What a beautiful center for individual life that

  629. was once in darkness, but not once came to the light because he allowed

  630. God to deal with this heart to remove the senders. We hope you've been

  631. blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit as

  632. Church Org. We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

  633. this week is going to be a good week. I hit for you. God bless
