You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message
-
will light up your day. Very simple message today, a message of encouragement.
-
It's called Road to Putrajaya. Okay, and some of you have not
-
heard the story, but we are the first church, by the grace of
-
God to be worshiping in the middle of Putrajaya. And let me look at
-
what's happening at the back here or look at that such good looking people,
-
fantastic. I'm there right there in the front with someone from Janma by my
-
side. I'm not talking about the lady or the lady also looks like she
-
just from Mayanma. That's my wife, by the way, and passa sam
-
and then wow, you know, over a thousand people came. And for
-
those of you who couldn't come, we pray that next year. All right,
-
God has put on my hard to have it in putra Jaya for another
-
few more years until we fill up the Padana hall, which can take about
-
four thousand people. So every year let's go, say people bring them to
-
day, say people bring them to put Jaya. For those of you who
-
don't know the significance of Putta Jaya, it is the seat of government.
-
It is the seat of power. Uh. And if you were in another
-
country, you would be able to equate that with maybe like you know,
-
in in in in London, it could be that you meet in the middle
-
of parliament or you know where Big Ben is uh and so on and so
-
forth. You know, in Singapore it'd probably be I don't know where what's
-
the name of the of the seat of government in Singapore. But you know,
-
you understand what privacy is very significant, very significant. Uh. This
-
whole place, this whole place was actually government run at one time and now
-
it's privately run. Uh And uh So yeah, road to Putrajaya, road
-
to I want to give you the journey that we had. So let me
-
start. We were planning for our twenty fourth anniversary, the celebration on a
-
Sunday on the twenty fifth of February. Right, you can remember it quite
-
easily these days because it's twenty fourth anniversary on the twenty fifth of February.
-
So the team came together, the leadership of this church came together, and
-
we were thinking, Okay, save money means DVCC save money. DVCC,
-
can DVCC take over a thousand people care, but you'll be sudden, all
-
right, really really pressed down, shaken together, running over will be the
-
situation in DVCC. So I was leading the early discussion and I said to
-
them, DVCC not be right. In fact, I feel like God has
-
got another plan for us. Okay, So what happened? So we started
-
to look and one of our leaders said, pasta, have you been to
-
the Marsa Hall. The Masa Hall is really nice, and so I said,
-
oh, let's have a look. So everybody was excited about the Massa
-
Hall. It's just here, you know. For those of you are you
-
got to the Mouninger, it's just here seven minutes right probably? Yeah,
-
okay, very nice hall. Oh look at that. It's also part of
-
a university. Now. I think they have an international school as well.
-
Marsa Hall. So excited, and we went and gave it a try,
-
as in, like you know, to ask about it. And when they
-
said that their price was twenty five thousand ring it, we said, uh,
-
maybe next time, you know. And so we continue to seek and
-
to pray, say, Lord, we believe you have a perfect place for
-
us. Perfect How many of you believe that God has a perfect plan for
-
your life. The perfect woman. I like that you're the only man that
-
say amen. The rest are you know? Getting there? Warming up?
-
The perfect man, the perfect place to worship. None of you are here
-
by accident. Doesn't make this change perfect. It's a perfect place for you
-
at this time, perfect place to stay. Perfect job. God has a
-
plan. He's not a god of accidents. He's a god of divine appointments.
-
Are you asked you with me? Very important? Early on I told
-
you about purpose. It's very important to find purpose, but also very important
-
to know the plan of God and to accept the plan of God and to
-
be thankful. No, many times I get tempted to go back to Singapore
-
because I was born there, have a Singapore birth certificate. And when I
-
first wrote to the Singapore Embassy High Commission at forty years old, I don't
-
know why. You know, sometimes you know, sometimes we get out something
-
to do trouble because we you know, we we just want to try to
-
see what things are like. So I wrote to the Singapore Embassy High Commission.
-
I think they call it, and I said to whom he may concern,
-
because I don't know who I'm writing to to whom we may concern.
-
Let me tell you my story very quick. One. I was born in
-
Singapore. My parents divorced. I had no choice but to come back with
-
my dad, and I lived here in Singapore. But I met I'm at
-
fourteen now, okay, and that was over a dozen years ago. I
-
met fourteen now, and I'm just wondering what it could have been if I
-
was a singapore In, you know. And I just don't know who will
-
read it right next morning seven thirty am. I kid you not, because
-
I can see the time right from there, from this particular email that came
-
through the Assistant High Commissioner rights to me, I think it won't really like
-
a High commission in Singapore. I think barely seven thirty. Dear Kenneth,
-
First of all, happy birthday. Tell you the whole thing about the Governor
-
of Singapore. Take your heads off, Happy birthday. We're so glad that,
-
as a singapore and born you would like to consider being singopore in again.
-
Please go through the normal channels of application. But if you have any
-
problems, now that you have my email just right directly to me, don't
-
forget is three point five eight. You know the current scener if at one
-
time, and my wife was so fed up with Malaysia, you know,
-
because sometimes you go through church life and the journey and people don't appreciate you.
-
And you know, my wife cried many nights because of people breaking their
-
heart. And in those times are in those times, Singapore seems very tempting.
-
You know. We don't seem to move when times are good. No,
-
the only thing of moving when times are which is which is actually a
-
good time, not to move. Because if you're not thinking you're moving when
-
times are good, and only thinking of moving when times are bad, then
-
something is wrong. And so I get tempted. I get tempted. But
-
then God reminds me of this vision that he gave me for Malaysia, this
-
plan that he has for my life and for my wife. And yes,
-
you know, I go to Singapore and I now have a church there in
-
Singapore, and and it's it's good every time we visit. But I've got
-
to remember that God has a plan. So Marsa twenty five thousand ring it,
-
I said, Lord, I don't think we can afford it, and
-
and you know, I don't know much about it, But tell me where,
-
Lord, tell me where. How many of you know that God knows
-
where? Turn to your neighbor and say, God knows exactly where, and
-
God knows exactly when, and God knows exactly who quiet, and God knows
-
exactly why. So, ladies and gentlemen, the story begins. When I
-
received from the Lord clearly this name written on the front of my mind bis
-
Milla. I'm thinking to myself, I said, Lord, can you please
-
tell us where you want to have our twenty fourth anniversity? And the name
-
comes again, bis Milla. And for those of you who don't know,
-
we actually have a hall just here next L called bis Milla. B isaac
-
m I l la okay. And I was thinking to myself, Lord,
-
you want me to rent this hall for our twenty fourth aniversary. You know
-
how our minds can just flash with all the promotional material Facebook, social media,
-
and you know how many people are following us that's not from X And
-
already some people are thinking that this pastor and this church is already bonkers and
-
out of line and crazy. Some even still call us a cult until the
-
day cult and cult leader, you know, and now he's going to put
-
on all his promotional material come everybody celebrate with us our twenty fourth anniversary.
-
Business Miller, can you see it? Can you see the promo? Can
-
you see the problem? What was the Lord trying to do? You know?
-
I had to say yes, Lord, because I knew it was him.
-
But I wasn't ready, I wasn't happy. I was still wrapping my
-
head around how to promote it. Where you're gonna have your twenty fourth anniversary
-
excess? Maybe half the chanche won't come because you're thinking about the place being,
-
you know, just not a place that you should be. Maybe okay.
-
So I said yes Lord, and I went in front of my committee
-
and said, the Lord says to us, Miss Miller, and I had
-
all these faces looking back at me and going like what, And I said
-
yes. So in obedience, we went and looked at the place. Oh,
-
very nice place, you know. Look at that. Can you imagine
-
the Instagram? It's nice, Yeah, very nice. It's mainly for Malai
-
weddings, and we see them coming in and out on Saturday Sundays. All
-
right, So we looked at it and guess what. There were a few
-
testimonies. That's the money. Number one. You're a church, Yes,
-
we're a church. Okay, Ken, my boss said, can a church
-
can meet at Bismilla? I said, Lord must be you, thank you.
-
Number two. The date is free, all the days before and all
-
the days after the twenty fifth of February. Wedding, wedding, wedding,
-
wedding, wedding except for a posta no wedding. Okay, but okay,
-
the date twenty fifth available, second testimony, all right. And then the
-
price was good affordable. I think it was thirteen thousand, okay, So
-
I said, okay, let's go for it. As I'm deliberating Bismilla as
-
a venue, the Lord began to speak to me, says Kenneth, I'm
-
actually not after the venue more than I'm after your heart, Kenneth. If
-
you can't even get over a name of a venue, how will you cross
-
the barrier of reaching out to them face to face? Because many of us,
-
if we are honors, we've got prejudices and biasedness, and God wants
-
to break that, because how can we fulfill the theme that all may know?
-
If you forget the sixty percent, you know, God is constantly trying
-
to bring his children to a place where our mindsets are broken change to become
-
his mindset, his way of thinking. This is just a venue's name.
-
You know, there is nothing there that shows you we are walking into a
-
religious place. It's a venue with a name that sometimes we can't get over
-
because we say this name belong to them. So you can see them and
-
us coming out. Now, right, this is a This is important and
-
the Lord will bring you and I through different things in life. And you
-
go like, oh, why is he doing this? Or will I actually
-
finally do this? And you realize that no, he was not after the
-
venue. He was not after the contract. He was not after the school.
-
He was not after the university. He was not after whether you go
-
to Langkawi or you go to London. He was not after the destination.
-
He was after the destiny. He's not after the destination. He's after your
-
destiny and mine, and your destiny and mine. As believers, sons and
-
daughters of the Living God, here in Malaysia is to see that the whole
-
Malaysia is saved, or at least come to know the saving knowledge of the
-
Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus loves them too. He loves them too. He
-
loves them to He died for them too, and Kennochy. You can't even
-
get over this name. How can you get over whatever? Else? Are
-
you? Also me very important for extras? You understand this very important?
-
So then you know what happened as we got the first testimony, Yeah,
-
church can rend this second deseminy. The date is available, third the'ssemony.
-
The price is right. All right, we're also excited, so excited,
-
except one thing we forgot to book it allow ladies and the word simple things
-
that you know, don't just don't ladies and gentlemen, Please don't become so
-
spiritual and forget the practical. That's another lesson for all of us. There
-
are practical things to do, and I thought that somebody else would do it,
-
because you know, basically, I have a team. Cannot be I
-
do everything right. So but as the weeks went by, I think it
-
was just as the days went by, where and then when on the two
-
weeks, I actually finally asked the teama, did we booking right? And
-
then one of my leaders said, oh, didn't. I said what you're
-
with you for? And this person said, sorry, past sorry, pass
-
I go, I go and do it now. So they went to the
-
office of bis Villa, which is found in one city. And when they
-
went there, the person said, Jess yesterday, Yes you were there,
-
jes yesterday. Someone came in and put in a fifty percent deposit for the
-
same date. Is for a wedding. Yeay yay ya, yay y yi.
-
And so I think they didn't even know how to tell me, you
-
know, right, but they finally told me faster. This is what happened.
-
I said, yes yesterday, yes, yes, yesterday. I said,
-
why don't you pop up the offer, give sixty percent or play the
-
whole bill? Okay, it's a wedding fifty percent. I tell you,
-
ladies and gentlemen, if you've not seen a pastor matter. I was really
-
fuming, but you know I still kept my Christian face. You know,
-
Christian face very important. They keep it inside. This is not rocket science.
-
When you when you when you've seen something, you be liking any book
-
it. Yeah, but they were so down. My team was so down
-
because they felt they disappointed me. I was because I felt I disappointed God
-
because he wanted the place because of your inefficiency. I'm gonna be very strong
-
because I say it is not I know it is. You know, hello,
-
what's happening. There's twenty people on the committee. You know, one
-
person got book. Okay, never mind. But you know what now I
-
know is God. God blightened them, you know, the quicker. I
-
forgave the better because my team was also hurting. You must understand this.
-
It's not just you the leader hurting. No, your team is also hurting
-
because they felt they disappointed you. So if you don't forgive them quickly,
-
they will also struggle. And so the Lord says, hey, Kenneth,
-
I got a better plan. Oh you know, I love you when God
-
comes into your life and say I have a better plan. And when he
-
said that, I thought, okay, you're no longer angry with me.
-
You know, sometimes God when he leads us in life, but again,
-
it's not the destination, it's the destiny, right, So he gets us
-
to cross over barriers when he tells us to do something and you think it's
-
still this thing that he wants you to do. No, no, come
-
on, God, I just wanted you cross that barrier, bit of bismella,
-
so that you learn to love them and don't be afraid to reach them
-
because I love them, I diet know. So that whole lesson there,
-
but it's not the destination is to keep on going, and many of us
-
will go through that in life. The reason why you went through. Then
-
you think it's a failure. Actually it wasn't a failure. It was a
-
path to growth. That's all you look like like. I thank God for
-
that. I thank God for that disappointment. I thank God for that failure.
-
I thank God for that lost contract. I thank God, you know,
-
because without that, you won't get here. And then my team,
-
you know, I was so frustrated and so, you know, disappointed.
-
I said, the team, you do your you do your own. I
-
know I didn't say that. I didn't say that by inside me say you
-
also clever, you'll do yourself. Played with my false teeth. You do
-
love. I didn't say that. I enough, I know, I work
-
so hard, tell you what the long want? So so what can't you?
-
Okay, I forgive, but you'll do you'll do wear and play golf.
-
I didn't, but I was praying a lot killer. My team is
-
working hard. Now, you know. I give me some time to heal.
-
Give me some time to heal. I need some time to heal.
-
And started to pray, Lord, where is this place? Please. So
-
my team works so hard that they began to send in the chat group.
-
We found a place. We've got to look at it because now it's only
-
weeks before the event. Maybe to be fair, maybe two two and a
-
half months. A hour's about maybe six weeks or eight weeks or whatever,
-
Okay, anyway, so it's it's I mean, you should have the venue
-
even way earlier than that, Okay. So I'm praying, and then I
-
see the sms coming in. Ah, we found a Chinese school, chu
-
Hua. We found you know, uh this and that at least about I
-
don't know, Daniel, another three or four or five came in, and
-
I had no interest at all because from Bismilla to chu Hua at all,
-
where's the story. I'm always after the story. I want the story.
-
Don't just give me, you know, uh, just a place. I've
-
got only one life to live. I gotta live it well, and I
-
want to get crazy for Jesus, you know what I'm saying. Anyone can
-
use huhula Okay, No, no, seriously, if God wanted to use
-
chuhuha, let me qualify that. Yes, Lord, I shall go to
-
a Chinese school where there's no parking except on the side of the road one
-
thousand over. People coming, we'll see all the founders or the pictures all
-
lined up. The building will be called tansy O Ba and we will worship
-
there and we will have great memory of our twenty fourth Anniverstry, and we
-
will say Heaven rules, and we'll tell people how great our God is.
-
Yeah, I was totally uninterested. I know better, passed Daniels, thinking
-
why person never answer any of our As I was praying, Daniel seriously,
-
I was praying in tongues nothing. No. You know, once you have
-
tasted something, all these things doesn't doesn't excite you anymore. Once you tasted
-
Jesus, nothing excites you anymore. You're with me. Jesus is the best.
-
So I prayed, I pray, and then Elder K comes up to
-
me one day. He says, how should we make a deposit for what
-
it? No, we found you know, Uh, Viva, Viva can
-
under hall in the whatever anyway. So I'm just I'm just saying names because
-
we've got to beasmell. We've got to have Chinese name, Indian name as
-
well. So Viva can under hall. Not that there's such a hall,
-
but you know, we've got to make a deposit, Elder tells me.
-
I said, here, I really have no feelings. I say, I
-
used an other spiritual but I tell you I had no no feeling for these
-
places. Feelings teature on the ceiling and so. But by the time Elder
-
k asked me about past, we need to secure a place. I said,
-
yes, I know. So just the day before Elo, King Ye
-
asked me, the Lord put on my heart, just that he put this
-
milla. He put putrajaya. This one really knocked me off my feet.
-
What put a jaya? Put your jaya. Put your jaya. So I
-
said to Kaya the care before we make any depositor. I heard from the
-
Lord, put your jaya. Kas took one step back as if he was
-
Jesus. You know, you know how they all came to the garden and
-
when Jesus says, I'm he, they all fell back. I saw King
-
it almost fell back, and he must have been the glory of God.
-
And then he step back. I said, putrajaya. I will find out
-
whether it's even available. Now. Kingya is one of those He said that
-
for years, for you years, he's been doing that, even when God
-
told me at to bring Delirious and some of your old enough to remember the
-
bend Delirious history maker. I want to be a history remaker. Okay,
-
I can't sing to save my life. And I told Elder Care, I
-
think God is wanting to bring Delirious to Malaysia. Then Care looks at me.
-
Good. I say, I like your wife. Sure, Sure is
-
a word for the day. Sure and uh kase you have their number?
-
Oh? Actually no, you give me back you have you have the number?
-
So I look, I said, no, but you do. And
-
so he went researching, researching, researching for one week, got an email,
-
got an email from the guy, and the guy said, we will
-
take your requests. And when Delirious finally came to Malaysia, Oh, I
-
tell you, Martin Smith such a good singer band. Every time the band
-
travels around the world, they travel with their family and they come back to
-
London and they were serving their local church. Martin Smith will be usher.
-
They believe in serving the local church. Whenever they are away. They can't
-
when they come back, all serve on their local They are superstars, you
-
know. Delirious was the number one Christian band in the world, celebrated even
-
in America. It's one of the top. Well they call him Christian rock
-
Brander, you know, but it's amazing, amazing, delirious. And when
-
Delirious came and I had a chat with Martin Smith, he said, pass
-
Cannas, I just want to let you know that anywhere we go, we'll
-
ask the lot where. So we put out forty invitations. Wow, forty
-
invitations for that we can know, and and Martin said, Martin Smith said,
-
so we prayed over the forty invitations, and the Holy Spirit said,
-
you will go to Malaysia. And that's why we're here. It's quite amazing,
-
all right, So all things are possible. We've got amen. Okay,
-
So I said, put to Daya and Ka went and found out the
-
number that he called, and on the other side of the line was a
-
Malay lady, very precious Malay lady. She says, uh, okay,
-
you want to rent ken that's the many number one. The date is available,
-
that's the number two. Right. So you're a church, a church
-
that can meet in this pride and joy of Mahadir made built this pride's pride
-
and joy the best conference center in the world. He hoped he would be
-
or at least the most groovy looking, one beautifuler met in a place that
-
I'm not sure whether Mahade saw that ex church will meet there and worship the
-
Lord when he built it. Only God knows. And so this lady says,
-
church can The date is open? Yeah? Can? How much will
-
it be? Well? It will be forty two thousand, ring it?
-
Mmkay. You came back to me and said, Pastor, miracle number one
-
church can meet here, and we will be the first church. Wow,
-
we are really history makers writing this church. First church to me, first
-
church to meet as a church here, second miracle. The date is available,
-
days before I've taken days after I take it, dates available, dates
-
is available, and I say, oh good. I said, okay,
-
oh good. So did you make a booking? You know, because once
-
bitten twice shy, he says no, Pastor, I actually said, uh
-
no, I won't take it. I said, what, say yes?
-
Possibly because it's forty two thousand, and I'm sure you really told me that
-
it's even twenty five is too expressive. I said, you're right, you're
-
right, And immediately, you know, for like three seconds, I said,
-
but Lord, then why do you send me there and the losses.
-
I'm not done yet. Ask ken Yah to find out whether they give discount
-
to NGO and to church. Can I said, oh yo, I didn't
-
ask. Ladies and gentlemen ask, and you shall seek and you shall not
-
and it shall be tryler, don't just be so spiritual, be practice girl.
-
So okay, Yeah, when her name is Azura, I think yeah,
-
I think they call it zura aa Zurrah Zorrah. You know, do
-
you offer a special great two churches? She said, You're the only church
-
I've done so far in put your there. So I don't know, let
-
me ask. My boss called the boss and then came back with the figure.
-
My boss said, we will give you fifty percent discount. That's a
-
lot. You know that they didn't even have to give it. And so
-
now with fifty percent discount and all the other miracles, I said, okay,
-
I believe that God will provide. Twenty five may be a bit too
-
high. Twenty wine is lesseller, but more importantly is God is God.
-
So I asked a lot, Lord, why why put your dire? And
-
the Lord says, after you were able to cross the barrier of the sixty
-
percent, Now I want you to understand it's not just about the sixty percent.
-
It's also about East Malaysia. It's also about the Asli. It's also
-
about the refugees that I hear, the foreign workers that I hear see.
-
Bismillah will symbolize one group, but Putrajaya symbolizes all groups, because what is
-
decided in put will affect everybody. And the theme is not that some may
-
know, but all may know. You understand, God is doing something.
-
And while I'm telling you all this, there's something prophetic about it. There's
-
something there's there's an understanding that you need to catchure that there is a time
-
and there's an urgency and there's a plan in God's mind for this country.
-
Because I believe what happened in but Jaya that day is a beginning to our
-
revival. And a lot of you were there. You couldn't even stop tearing.
-
And you don't even know why. I tell you, it's the presence
-
of God. It's God's approved. This is good pleasure falling and flowing upon
-
acts. And it was not just X representing ourselves. We were representing the
-
Church of the Living God in Malaysia. Let me tell you a few more
-
things. Before I close, I want you to imagine something, and before
-
that, I'll give you a scripture. The scripture is found in Romans eight
-
nineteen to twenty one or nineteen twenty one. Let's look at the scripture for
-
the earnest expectation of the creation. All creation eagerly waits for the revealing of
-
the sons of God. The Hall of Malaysia, if you would believe it
-
is waiting for you and I to be revealed, to show ourselves up and
-
to speak up, and to do what is needed to be done. And
-
verse twenty one says, because the creation itself, also the creation Malaysia,
-
will be delivered. Somebody say, amen from the bondage of corruption. Do
-
you know how many of us have actually prayed against corruption for years to see
-
it fall and crumble. Corruption in Malaysia is huge. But prayer is one
-
thing, though showing up is another thing. We can pray until the cows
-
come home. I'm telling you right now, God expects us also to present
-
ourselves at the right time, at the right place, to speak up for
-
him, to show up for him. So you know how the corruption is
-
going to be broken. The bondage of corruption, the glorious liberty of the
-
tune of God. When the children God revealed themselves, step up to the
-
plate, show up. When the time comes, that's when we will see
-
bondages, even of corruption break. Come on, if you believe it,
-
say amen, it's just showing up. But not just showing up. I
-
want to tell you another thing. In some three two verse three, the
-
Bible says you are and you are holy and thrown in the praises of Israel.
-
So we all believe that God inhabits and is enthrowned in the praises of
-
his people. Do you believe that that means this morning, when we praise
-
God, when we worshiped him, God's presence came down. That's what he
-
means. It means that He inhabits, He comes, and he dwells among
-
us in our praises. So that's why sometimes when you're down and you praise
-
God, you feel up because His presence takes over. When you're sick,
-
you praise God and suddenly you feel better because there's power in praise. What
-
is the power? The power is His presence. And he already said you
-
aren't thrown. That means God is lifted up He becomes God of our lives
-
and our situation and our circumstances when we praise him. And that's why in
-
those days before Israel went out to war, they set out Judah, and
-
Judah is praise. And that is another scripture I have for you. Judges
-
twenty verse eighteen. Judges twenty verse eighteen says that the truth of Israel arose
-
and went up to the House of God to inquire of God. They said,
-
which of us shall go up first to battle against the children of Benjamin?
-
The Lord said, what is praise? Judah means praise, praise first,
-
no matter how down you are, no matter how dark the situation.
-
Is learned to praise the Lord. Praise the Lord not out of feelings,
-
but out of faith, because he inhabits the praises of his people. So,
-
as I draw to a close my last lap, now I want to
-
say something to you. Can you imagine give you some history. Putrajaya started
-
operating as the center of administration in nineteen ninety nine. How many of you
-
were born then, Yeah, we were born already right nineteen ninety nine some
-
of you and you know, you're like, what's that's that's a year nineteen
-
ninety nine. PICC was built in twenty three, four years after Putrajaya became
-
the center of administration or the center of power, center of government, PICC
-
was built. So this year is two thousand and twenty four, two thousand
-
and three. PICC was built twenty and twenty four. Ex church is there
-
worshiping so for about twenty one years. Listen to me now, if you
-
really believe that our praisers bring down the present of God. For twenty one
-
years or at least twenty years, God's presence couldn't come down because praisers didn't
-
go up. Now we can pray again until our face is blue. But
-
I'm telling you right now, the presence of God was not on putr Jaya
-
for that many years. It was there because there were no one to praise
-
him. Now, maybe there were one or two Christian doctors, or one
-
or two Christian policemen, or one or two Christian you know, government officers
-
who praise the Lord now and then. But as a church, do you
-
know if you google church and Puja Jayad, theres none and so I'm even
-
thinking of starting one. Uh and we are now asking some of the hotels
-
to consider. Can you imagine God up in heaven looking down Puja Jaya,
-
hearing all his believers pray. Corruption come down, Corruption come down, corduction
-
come down, and he wants to come down and deal with corruption. But
-
he comes down on the praises of his people. So he can't come down
-
if there's no praise. If you believe in scripture, you gotta believe this.
-
He comes down when there's pay. That's why God sends people to different
-
places because when he senses he expects us to bring praise to that office.
-
He expects us to bring praise to that factory, He expects us to bring
-
praise to that hospital, He expects us to bring pray to that school.
-
He explained. So when there's no praise, he doesn't come. Although you
-
can say, oh, but God, it's everywhere. I know he's everywhere,
-
but his manifest presence, his glorious, powerful presence, comes down where
-
his people praise him. I alls do with me very important. It can
-
be a gym you're working at, or it can be you know, government,
-
whatever. If you believe scripture, then you believe that He comes down
-
when we praise. And for twenty one years he's waiting to come down and
-
putcha Jaya to touch every decision that they make. And he can't until a
-
church would worship him. And now you know why when you enter Pagai that
-
day you were in tears. It was not a work of man. It
-
was twenty one years of waiting by the Lord. You think that we wait
-
on the Lord, the Lord waits on us. Two they were okay with
-
this. This was the significance if you don't understand what happened on the twenty
-
fifth of every that God was waiting and over a thousand people praised and worshiped
-
and danced before the Lord, and God came down. And do you think
-
that will ever be the same. Of course not because his presence came down.
-
Now, of course I'm hungry for more. I'm hungry to get as
-
close as i can to the center of government and to praise God some more.
-
But that one occasion, it's almost like how King Solomon dedicated temple and
-
the President of God was so strong the ministers couldn't minister anymore. The cloud
-
of glory came into is like that. No, that day, in like
-
the cloud glory came into that place. And you know that place is being
-
used by a lot of government officials. Almost every government office uses that for
-
seminar use it so they will come in and they will talk about their decisions
-
and the future, and they will plan for you know, plan ahead under
-
that presence. Now, I want you to think about how powerful that day
-
was. Are we okay? And that's why it's important that Christians just show
-
up and praise the Lord wherever we are. I close with this one quick
-
story. How may you know that ever since we came to got the communing
-
in this place that got the communing is also not the same. Again,
-
we're gonna believe that now. So as I close that, let me just
-
tell you a story. So we've come here for salt. Salt is the
-
Saturday X leaders or leadership training. And at lunch time we usually tell each
-
other where should we go for lie? You remember not when we used to
-
have our meetings not just here, but at the other second floor, first
-
floor or something. And sometimes we will go to a place called the corner.
-
All right, Very funny because the first time we went to the corner,
-
people ask us which corner the place is called corner? So I said,
-
the corner on the corner, and I have taken it as my life's
-
goal that wherever I go, I want to be God's like. I'm sure
-
that you are like that as well. You will never see me being rude
-
to a waiter unless the waiter is you know, it's terrible. Okay,
-
that's all. I'll just walk away. But I went into this corner and
-
there's a lady called Lynn. You remember Lynn. She looked really gar,
-
very fierce on Edward, you're nodding your hete you remember Lynn. Lynn doesn't
-
smile one no. Can we merge the table because we are a big group.
-
Can and so every time we you know, sometimes I go to restaurants
-
not because of the food. I go because of the people. I do
-
that in London, I do that in any other church Planza because if you
-
go enough times, you will see people respond. Because why you are a
-
child of God, you carry something, You carry his presence. All right,
-
Lynn became a friend. Can earth You're a much table now? She
-
asks, I didn't know that Lynn had gone from corner to yelow. I
-
don't know why I somehow feel that Yello would be a place where I love
-
you will eat today because I just said it. And then we also decided
-
Daniel under ye also knows your name, Yello. Just you know, in
-
remind you we used to book up the place. Huh remember Vincent book up
-
the place. Almost all the tables were taken by extras in there. And
-
then the food is gooda and then again and now it's my second chance,
-
all right to also be the light. And you guys, you know,
-
I think you're kind to the waiters and wait just they like us Noga.
-
Not too long ago I went back and they said, where's your church?
-
How come don't come already? Your food is so bad. No, I
-
didn't say that. I said no, because there are many other restaurants.
-
Our people want to try. I would say, our people are I didn't
-
say me. I said I want to come back one. I want to
-
compet. My people want to try other places. So Lynn was there,
-
Hey, that's the can eve, I'm here. I said, Hi,
-
Lean, what are you doing here? I left the corner and came to
-
the intermediate. No, actually you know it's corner so no, so and
-
lot okay. So I went with my wife to eat the other day,
-
and the Indian waitress came up to us. She says, are you both
-
past us? I said, yeah, Lean told me that you were past
-
us. I said, yeah, anything I can do for you. She
-
says, I'm from India and I'm working here in Yellow I haven't been to
-
church for many, many months. I said, oh, I said,
-
I can help you, and so she gave a number. Oh, I
-
was, so, you know, I'm glad that when we go to restaurants
-
and all that I've been praying right that we will really be able to be
-
a real salt and light in Cota Communi. Every place we eat, every
-
place we buy, something that just be the line, be the salt and
-
so far. As I took down her number and then I ran again.
-
I just went again Thursday because I was I was doing chein up talk show
-
year Thursday, I ran. I saw her again as I'm already my food
-
with the team. I said, hey, sister, did anyone from my
-
church contact you? She says, no, okay, about three four five
-
weeks have passed. She said, how come? And then, of course,
-
you know, stirring within me again, So I text my wife.
-
I said, dear you remember this Indian girl not from India. No,
-
I was walking here once to come to church and she says yeah, oh
-
yo, She said, oh yo, sorry, we were so busy.
-
The theme for this year is that all may know, and I just want
-
to encourage all of us as a church. Let's not get too busy for
-
the people that we are trying to reach. So my wife immediately caught her
-
number and then she says someone else picked up and no that I don't know
-
yellow and I don't know this Indian girl. Okay, So I said,
-
sister, you still want to go to church. I can only go for
-
the early one, eight fifteen one, but I need transport. Fassa Immediately,
-
Megan was right in front of me, Pasa, I don't mind driving,
-
just ask me. I like, I'm going. I'm going to close
-
right now to encourage all. There's a call to action to this. There's
-
a call to action for all of us. We need to not get too
-
busy for people, no matter what race they are, no matter who they
-
are, when people meet the Lord, when people need to come to church,
-
we must make it a priority. And if you tell me that passa,
-
I'm going to fetch somebody to come here, even if you have to
-
miss the pre service, pre worship prayer. I'm gonna take that as more
-
important that you go ahead and get the person. So Shirley was next to
-
me, and Shelly said, okay, past I'm gonna get her number.
-
Now. I'm going to call her number on the spot. And so she
-
took a number, called her and her number rang and she says, oh,
-
okay, all right, she's not here this morning because we haven't caught
-
her yet. And that was Thursday. So as I close, I want
-
to pray for an urgency because we as Christians were meant to show up and
-
was meant to be the salt and the light so that people can come to
-
know him. Her name is Ritu, the foreigner from India at Yelow.
-
My question is will we be willing to set aside our business. Don't become
-
like that story of the Prodigal No, not the pardigle the Good Samaritan,
-
where the pastor was so busy he just passed by the person who was hurt
-
on the ground, passed by the levite, passed by the church worker,
-
passed by everybody who is rushing to church, passed by the very man that
-
needed help. I pray that Rito will be contacted before next Sunday. The
-
numbers with Passa Sandra now or with Elder Shirley. I wonder how many of
-
you here in this room will step up to it. But I want to
-
tell you that many more retooths, many more retoos India. She's a foreigner.
-
That all may know why Putrajaya is because people like Ritto needs to come
-
to church. She's a foreigner. And may the Lord just give us a
-
real heart for the people around us, not to be too busy for them.
-
May the Lord help us to drive our car out a little bit earlier.
-
So go to Yelow. I think redtoo stays above Yellow or somewhere nearby
-
there. Bring her to church, let her worship the Lord, Let her
-
experience God, and then she would be so filled with the Holy Spirit.
-
She'll go back to her workplace and she would touch many others, even other
-
customers, maybe other colleagues. But there are many other retooths around here in
-
Gootakamuning, all around this area where we eat and shop and do our daily
-
business. May the Lord use extrach, May the Lord use us hallowujh.
-
I believe that God is waiting even as we are waiting on the Lord.
-
He's waiting on us. He's waiting on us because when we start praising him,
-
his presence will come down, his glory will come down. Let's not
-
just pray for another soul to come to ext church until we are committed to
-
go and get that soul. Come on. We need to show up at
-
people's doorstep, even as they have showed up on our doorstep. We've got
-
to begin to knock on people's doors. We need to begin to take up
-
that phone to call not just another Christian, not just another Christian gossip.
-
We need to begin to have the heart of God and eyes that would be
-
open to see the loss. They're all around us. They're all around us.
-
Why is God doing this? He's not as interested in the destination as
-
he is in our destiny. And our destiny as a church is that all
-
may know. Somebody say amen, that all may know the love of Jesus
-
and the saving knowledge of God. God bless you. We hope you've been
-
blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit as
