the leaders, because why why prayer don't need to prayer their leaders, They

don't need to pay well, please pray for the leaders because that time when

we are meetings that please pray for us, you know. And because we're

discussing about next year, you know, and just a joke LB for you.

Blind from birth, okay, blind from birth, and his disciples ask

him, saying, Rabbi, who's sin this man or his parents? As

Okay, another thing, guys, he has not seen Jesus. He's

blind all the way. You know, the only time he can see was

after that. Jesus disciples already they left. Ready, they didn't follow the

guy. They weren't there with nothing. It just happened. They didn't even

wait. So I don't know, don't even know whether the disciples knew that

he was helled. Everything that happened after that was between the guy, and

of course if you read further, which later we'll go. You know,

the people brought him to the synagogue and presented him to the religious leader.

So imagine someone got healed outside here and then you know, they bring him

to you know, Daniel, say Dan, how what happened? What happened?

And then they have some theological debate within the church on who healed and

who didn't heal, and whether he's a sinner and all very funnier. Got

you know, sign miracle happened radio, we cannot believe it, and then

we start having theological discussions about it. Okay, so friends, the title

is opportunity in every Obstacle. Just want to highlight this. Opportunities are often

disguised as obstacles, and that is why so many of us missed them.

If you look at the scripture from the perspective of the blind man, he

was obstacle after obstacle after obstacle, but he steal went and washed his eyes,

and he doesn't know who Jesus is. He said, these men called

Jesus. How he know he heard? The disciples sayer, I mean,

I don't know. There's no account. Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't

know. Maybe he knew that there was a you know, someone that was

healing. We don't know. We don't know what he knew about Jesus,

but obviously he he he I'm not sure that he knew much, right,

seeing every problem as an opportunity to work the works of God, that's what

Jesus saw. The disciples saw a theological problem. He's blind, who's sin?

And that? Guys, that was the belief of the day, which,

unfortunately, I think some of us, well not some of us here.

You guys are fine, okay, there are certain Christians who actually still

believe in such a thing. Oh, you did something wrong, therefore,

you see that's not that's not biblical, guys, were clear, No,

something we have this thinking and perception about things are that's not entirely right now

right? Or something bad happened to you? You must be sinning? Do

you know that that's not theological? Correct? But we all believe it we

believe in it for ourselves. Right, But the Bible does say God did

say he caused rain to shine on both the writers and the wicked, meaning

are bad things happened to everybody, not to say God created la Right,

So let's be very careful with what we believe. Okay, So Jesus,

Thank God. Jesus, he had the foresight. He saw every problem as

an opportunity to work the works of God, right, approaching every difficulty as

an opportunity to reveal God's power and to glorify his name. Do you know

that we are called on this earth to do that? X one? It

says we will receive power from above through His spirit. Why so that we

can go and make disciples. That is the role of every believer, not

just the pastors, not just the leaders, everyone, right. Do you

know the significance of the name of Jesus. I share this a little bit

just now. You know in Matthew, right before Matthew twenty eight nineteen,

you know, nineteen twenty talks about go make disciples. Right before that,

Jesus gave another assurance. All authority on heaven and earth has been given to

me. Do you know the significance of the scripture. Let me tell you

the signify I think I've said that before. Here I trying to remember the

name of Jesus and is very powerful, right, And because of that name

we can pray in Jesus name be healed. So that is our role,

guys, that's what we are called to do. Whether we realize it or

not, it is still the role that we play as long as we believe

and follow Jesus. That's the role. But how how do you work the

works of God? Well? There are five things to consider, right,

five things to consider. Why am I showing this to you because Jesus killed

a guy by spitting on the ground and putting clay on his eyes. Do

you know that every one of you here, every one of you here have

the potential potential, potential to do greater works than days because Jesus say no,

those that come after me will do greater works than I have done.

Means you have to putential as well. But sometimes we I don't know how,

not sure or whatever. So let me give you some encouragements. There

are five things that we need to consider before working the works of God.

And when we talk about working the works of God. It's not just again

for us, it's for us. It's it's how to say, I think

when you talk about supernatural science and wonders, it should be a normal occurrence

in church because we believe in a living God and the holy space with us.

Okay, it should be normal. But why is it not normal?

Well, maybe we don't understand. And that brings me to my first point.

Well, so we got to consider a few things before working the works

of God. Right. The first point is it is actually a theological problem.

You know what theology means means theology is the study of God, theo

logy study of God, okay, means the understanding of God. Why do

we encourage people to study the Bible? Why do we encourage people to read

the Bible? Because by reading the Bible, you hopefully will have an understanding

on who your God is. Your catch that right? Why do we come

to church and learn because we want to learn who our God is? And

everyone here you have a different perspective and a different experience of God in your

life. Am Irin say we have different When I say different meaning it's unique,

but principles are the same. Character of God is the same. For

example, we talk about God being faithful. We need to shed a very

ray awesome testimony about how faithful God is. Right, that is God's faithfulness,

but it's unique to her. I've experienced got faithfulness in another way.

By see, then I can confidently say God is faithful, not because I

really in the word, but because I know it by heart. Your catch

dead. So what was presented to Jesus was a theological problem. The disciples

only understood as blind, therefore sain. But Jesus gave them a different perspective.

He said, no, he is blind because I am coming to do

the works of God here, and thank you for noticing that he's blind.

Now I'm going to do the works of God. And then the miracle happened,

and then after that his life was changed, and the people around belief.

If you read further, you were here that the people believe. It's

stumped the religious leaders. And do you know that it happened on the Sabbath?

do you know that on the Sabbath you're not supposed to hear people?

heal you. Have Jesus done that to you before? Have got done that

to you before? Hey, Daniel, I know you're praying for healing her.

question. Do some of you believe that God is like that? I don't

think he's like that. No, So you see, it's an understanding theological

problem. They only know a little bit. That's why they you know,

I don't know whether they read their Bible or no. So, guys,

the first point on working the worst of God is we have to understand who

God is. First. We have to understand the approach of the theological approach.

What is what is God in this situation? What does Jesus need to

do? You know, is it even true or not? I just mentioned

just now. You know, we have this thought process where when something that

happens therefore I've seen by some So I challenge that thought. You know what

I mean, because if you keep thinking that way, it will stop you

from believing that God can come true in your life. You know what is

that? That is the theology of works means you work hard, la you

work hard, you don't see, then God will bless you. That's not

very correct now, hah. So theology. We've got to be very careful

in this What are you believing? What are you listening to? Which picture

are you listening to online? Be very careful, don't listen to the wrong

thing, opinions, very very careful. So, nowadays we have a lot

of people that disagree, disagree, disagree, Guys, can I give you

an encouragement. It's not about disagreement. It's about alignment. It's about alignment

to what. It's about alignment to the Word of God. So to be

careful when you start saying things that I don't agree. I don't agree.

Yeah, if you don't agree and it's in the word of God. Great,

don't agree and you're pulling it from someone else's what, please go it verify

because if we get stuck with the first point of it being a theological problem,

imagine if Jesus works like the disciples. Oh yeah, I think the

Jesus not like that. Jesus, you his geology will sound. He's like,

I'm here to do the works of God. Right, So the disciples

will focus on sin as the reason the man was blying. So a lot

of times you might see something bad happened as punishment or as consequence. And

though there are times that it is true, it is not always the case.

Right, There are times it is true, I mean, but it's

not always the case. So we got to be way careful with that.

Thank God, Jesus had the God perspective. Second point, Jesus knew God

had a plan. Do you know that God has a plan for your life?

Can I let you know that as soon as you come to ext church.

There's something we shid before in the Last Willing Retreat, God has a

plan for each and everyone of your life. Whether you believe it or not

doesn't really matter. I hope you believe it. But God has a plan

no matter how bad you are, no matter what come miss sex you make.

Guys, I've made so many misics, right, I have made so

many mistakes. Okay, in my life, I've done so many things that

I shouldn't have done. But thank God, I'm staying here. I'm still

trusted. Thank God, God still trusts me. You know. So it

wasn't just the man or his parents, but the understanding that God is also

in the picture. Do we realize that God is always in the picture in

our lives? Do we sometimes forget or think He's not around and we need

to fend for ourselves. Let me give you this perspective as well. I

was having a conversation with a young person yesterday. This was very interesting opposition.

A young person is telling me, you know, I did something I'm

not proud of and I dare not tell my hearted leader. I did not

tell God. And I told the person this. I said, you know

something interesting, You don't have to tell God. He al really knows.

Of course, He's only present. So when you were doing it. He

already there when you are. You know what kind of idea we have of

God? Oh? No, on the Lord, He's only in the church

when we are. No, God is everywhere. Are we reading the same

Bible? Why did God ask Adam? Where are you? Adam? You

think God didn't know where Adam was? He was there the garden. God

knew where Adam was. Why did God ask Adam a question? He wanted

Adam to come clean. So it's not about God don't know. God knows

ready. God knows all the problems you've done got Do we have that perspective?

God's always there in our lives. He's always there for you. He's

ready to catch you. But we need to come clean. We need to

say, Lord, I submit now. Lord, I surrender now, not

come and take over now. I can't do it on my own strength.

I need you. That is what we need to do. You know,

that is why we and I I mean I I sometimes and then the young

person is telling me like, oh, you know, I want to try

and get back to eat myself. I was rare on us. I said,

I say, you can't, none of us can. But in our

weakness He's made strong so stop doing it yourself. The whole reason why you're

here is because you keep doing it yourself. No, stop doing it yourself,

Start relying on God. Stop trying to fix it yourself. Start trying

to allow God to fix it for you. That it's the right perspective.

So knowing that God is there is very important for us. And no matter

how bad we are, how far we are, God is always there for

you. Can I encourage you this morning? Right? Even right now you

can think that you've done the worst thing right, and of course there are

consequences were now guys, But know that God is always there for you.

Amen. Third point knowing our purpose? Right, Jesus knew his purpose to

work the works of God. As followers of Christ, do we know that

our purpose is to do the same. Why am I sharing is you?

Because all of us here we are called to work the works of God.

What does that mean? Well, it's as simple as apply God's word in

your life and experience God moved in your life. You'll catch that applying God's

word in your life and experience God moving in your life. And when God

is in your life, there will be transformation, whether you like it or

not. Change one you'll get better on. You know, I have this

example of someone in a XBU service one leader who not to say it was

a bad person, but a very strong person. And ever since, you

know we talk about discipleship, trough chest planning. Ever since his leader when

there, you know, we we've noticed that the leader have a change.

You know, God is working in the leader's life and leaders now very caring,

very fatherly, very They were like, what happened? You know what

happened? Ches planning happened? You know, God happened in is life.

You know that. You know, just because we reach a certain somethings,

we can come to this splace where oh I already reach really away arrived.

Actually, guys, no one has arrived. Not right. You know,

we are constantly being transformed by God. And as long as we allow

God to move right and we know our purpose, we will continuously be moved

forward. You know, don't be stagnant, guys, don't believe in the

So knowing our purpose is important. Do we know our purpose? Knowing

this? I think Jesus was hinting that there will come a time where we

won't be able to work the works of God. He's hinting to us there

Now, I do believe that we can see wor the words of God.

We can see experience is power. We can see experience, you know,

Him moving in our lives through us, blessing others. Right, that's

a purpose. But there will come a time where we may not be able

to work the words of God. The simple explanation for me is when we

are goner, then you can't ready because you've gone ready. Right. I'm

not sure whether or not, And I'm not a scholar. I've not read

revelations to the point that I can tell you. Oh you know, post

destination, predestination, whatever destination, you know, final destination. I won't

be able to tell you that, okay, But even in our church,

we believe that now is the time of plenty, and we got to feel

our store houses, right, we got to build our store houses. Who

are the store houses all? You're gonna be the church? Because when persecution

comes, you think we can see me like that? Who are the people

that will have to carry us word? All of us? Here a lot

quite simple explanation, right, So we got to be ready, right and

when the time. I don't know what's gonna happen in the future, okay,

I can't predict, but better be ready. So when is the time

to work? Guys? Now? Today? Today is the time to work.

Don't wait till tomorrow because tomorrow might not come. Don't wait. Oh

whether you've got some program, you will be transformed. Why because you

allow him to come, you know, when you will not be transformed when

you don't allow him to come. So it's really choice. Oh why you

know? Open? When we open up our hearts to him, we open

up everything, and then he will transform. Right, he will transform.

Amen, let's see. Okay, So question are we changing the area we

are on and bringing light and peace where we're at? I pray we are,

I pray you are, you know, and somehow you feel like I

be more so on light? You know? How can I be more right?

So? Five things to consider before working the works? You see,

we haven't even worked the works yet. Okay, So now let's talk about

how to work the works right first, and drawing from John five sixty seven.

that, guys, you are precious and you're made of something. You know,

you don't have to be like Daniel because Daniel's unique. You don't have

to be like. Make sure you have to be like. You don't have

to be like a person sitting up here. You don't have to be like

meaning you are unique with something that the Lord has given you. Right and

the thing that is important is that you've got to allow God to move and

mix you word with you and make it into a ball of spit. Now

a battle of clay and anoint uses anointing to affect change, to grant healing.

You know, I was thinking to myself, why blind from birth?

Because if the guy was not blind from birth, they would have figured out

a human explanation on how he received his site, you know. But because

he was blind from birth, there was no other way to receive its side.

It could only be God. That is the crazy thing. After combined

then applying the annoying thing he gives to us, that is annoying thing.

So what is annoying thing? Annoying thing is basically what God put on us.

Anointing can only come from God. It cannot come from men, It

cannot come from anyone, It cannot come from the pastor it can only come

from God. Are you anointed to do something? Have you done something in

your life that maybe you're a harder leader or home leader. When you do

it, it's like, wow, you're so gifted in this, you're so

anointed in this. Well, that is something that God has given you.

Are you using it for the glory of the Lord. That's a question,

right, And we gotta just being anointed is not enough. You gotta apply

it or no, you gotta apply. You gotta do something you did right,

Like like, okay, I'm just using an example. I don't know

what I'm going to dig a hole for myself. So he said, I

just like to cook. I'm not very good. Cool. I think Buster

is a better cook, but I just like to cook. Okay, right,

is a sinner do such science? And there was division among them right and

in eighteen it says, but the Jews do not believe concerning him that he

had been blind and received his side until they called the parents of Kim who

so stumbed that they don't you sure not, you're blind? No, just

They because they knew that the Jews were against Jesus, because they had

a theological issue with Jesus. Right, how can you do this during the

Sabbath? See, they were focused on the wrong thing because they didn't understand

who Jesus was. Right. They were focused on why it was the blind

man's sin and why it could not be done by Jesus. Cannot, cannot

Jesus is a sinner? Cannot Why is this a sinner because he did something?

Okay, listen to me. Why is Jesus as a sinner because he

healed someone on the Sabbath? That sounds weirdler to me. Let me ask

you the question. Can we be so blind to what God is doing and

focusing on what's right or how we feel or our past experience or understanding that

we totally miss the point. Don't be like a pharisee. Name on a

pharisee. But what also they cannot see right? Thank God. The blind

man the one that could be you know, and I mean again, imagine

Ima, why didn't the blind man retaliate to the disciples. Why didn't the

blind man retaliate when Jesus put spitball into his eyes? Again I'm just assuming.

Ah, I'm not a Bible scholar. They I think the blind man,

because he was begging and he was blind from Bertha, he probably accepted

his faith. Probably that was not the first time people asked whether he's seen

or the parents scene. I think it said that he's the tears all or

something like that. You think about it. The tears are probably neglect.

People abuse him, probably the worst things to him. So he probably was

just sitting there like, okay, go hala, do whatever. Go wash

he might be in that state, but God was still interested in him.

And once he see he stuck his guns. Though he was he could

just tell you that this is my testimony. The blind man was focused on

what he was before Jesus, what he was after Jesus. That was what

he was focused on. You know what happened in between those two things,

Jesus happened. So is Jesus happening in your life on us? Ha?

Ha? Good to think about it, right, It's just that simple,

guys, It's just that simple. Right. Let me. I'll show a

view a reflection I had recently, you know, concerning this because as parts

sharing this, I saw like, wow, I could relate to the points,

you know, and it's very interesting, you know, being able to

preach because you know, I mean, and I think it's extra style.

Okay, uh, the stuff you preach, we went through it first all

now, you know, not saying I was blind, but a lot of

times, right, A lot of times, yeah, blind was blind.

I'm not, I see, but a lot of times and a lot of

our preachers. And I just got to tell this because you got really on

our preachers, right. God brings us through the fire for us and then

when ready come out is hopefully you will get something out of it. So

when we share the word, I think mostly not opward. Just when when

we share the water, it is not Oh I go and study do internet

research. No, we walk the walk, man, And I tell you

it's not fun at all. Right, but let me share you testimony.

I guess so I shared this before here and I think Daniel mentioned that,

Uh, I'm involved in special needs. Okay, yeah, I think by

now you're already know already. And just to tell you, I'm not sure

that I've shared my testimony here before, but you know at that time where

things were better for my family. Uh. And again, it's our culture

when you talk about special needs, and I realized mental health, right,

we're very it's a table topic. We don't really talk about you and there's

a lot of shame involved. And because it's your child you you know,

Malu, and people don't understand, and you have all these different stigma with

Itla and I went through that, guys, I went through that. But

what happened was God, and I really believe it was God leading Okay,

when we were okay ready in terms of we got to plan Son's getting better,

I just felt this weird thing that you know, I think the church

need is an answer for indivin just expressionists. It was just that thought like,

it cannot be that we preach Jesus say he can heal the siting and

all do all these things. But when it comes to specialists like, oh,

let's not talk about it cannot be what? And I'm like God,

I always asked the question, now why me so that though? So that

God can work the works of God through my life. So when showing I'm

like, oh wow, now I have revelation. Thank you Lord for doing

this. But painful, right, painful? Spin on the floor, say

who's seeing you? Know? Right? Questions are I serve you for fifteen

years, where you go and give me this in a problem? Give it

to someone richer, you know, because therapy not cheap. Those things are

this thought's coming to your mind? But why do happen? So that God

can work the works of God through my life? Not fun, guys,

not fun? Not fun. So when it started, the thought was just

the church has to have an answer for these precious children, right, And

I realized this. I was in a very unique position to do something personally.

Why well, Number one, I had a perspective of a parent,

right because my son right. And at the same time, I also have

the perspective of a church leader. You know, sometimes it can be a

fight. You know, people can't they have a need, you know,

then they push push push it literalhi, So we're not doing all things.

But I in the middle of I like, oh, okay, I understand

what we can or cannot do. And at the same time, I'm also

barn I understand the challenges and you know, all these things that you go

through, which so I'm like, well, I'm in the middle, like

Switzerland like that, and I felt like neutral and neutral, not to say

that are fighting now, but it can be sensitive. It can be a

lot of things. And then I'm like, okay, lord, I'm in

a very unique situation. Can you please guide me and lead me in this

journey? Friends, he took eight years for us to actually officially do something

I don't need eight years to start stuff or no. I can start

stuff very fast on That's just the way I function. But because this was

close to my heart, right, being my son and also being a journey

I go through. God took his time with me, right the rest are

So how can I draw from what I just said in terms of understanding?

So the first thought was a theological problem. You mean God can only be

good to normal people? Or can God can be good to all people?

It was a theological problem I had to overcome. Then after that I had

to realize that I need a God perspective. Yes, you can send for

therapy and all, but shouldn't we have a God perspective that every child is

fearfully and wonderfully made by God. That means that if the child has specialists,

they are made by God. No. Meanwhile, it's a disease guys,

Sorry, specialists on diseaser. There are people that have to go through

in autism spectrum until they are Oh no, right. Just because they look

normal or they don't act weird doesn't mean that they don't have to go through

the thought process because it's a neurology. Is a neurological problem. It's ingrained

in the person. They think differently. Right, So God perspective. And

then when I realized that I was in the middle, Oh, now I

know my purpose, you know, and most of the time our friends.

Can I share this with you? A lot of times ministries and efforts that

come out from churchyard is always born out of diversity. Can I share that

with you? LYNETTSA? Why was it started? Because it's past the Keller

story. A lot of you here. You are passionate about certain things because

you have been brought up from the Marie bit by the loner and he pulled

you out and because of that, now you are more passionate about that particular

area. Do you know that if you love God to take his spitner,

Now our church, we are familiar with special nests. Well, not

experts, but we're familiar. We're okay, if we do see a parent

especial nests, right, we will welcome the person. I've really heard to

testimonies about how parents who unfortunately I think we've seen a video right, rejected

in other places, but we accept them. Course, you're like, okay,

you know, and we're not afraid to talk about these things. We're

not afraid to talk about suicide. We're not afraid to talk about these things

because these are things that we need to talk about. Right, And let

me tell you a testimony that happened recently, right, So, and I

believe these are all open door star Okay. So we talk about being a

sort and light. Right, and sometimes when you are in church and your

friends are all Christians, right, a little bit hard to reach out to

people outside. But through this society, I've really had the opportunity to had

good conversations with parents who want none sorry pre believers. I believe one day

they will not a lot. Right, I have God's love, Thank God,

I have that, I have his word. Through that I have the

right perspective, I can be a blessing to my kids. They don't have

right and I prayed her, one day I'll be able to reach out to

them. So I had to sit down with with a mom just to check.

She talked Mola. She talked for three hours before after we end the

accommodation. She keeps saying, oh, I'm very inspired by your story.

Were inspired by what your date. I'm like, I'm no one. Aah,

I'm not an expert, right, very inspired, you know, you

know, and and and saying things like to me like, man, I've

never shut this to anybody. I don't know who to talk to, you

know, I'm so afraid, you know. Uh. And and I just

told her, I said, hey, you know what, whatever you're doing

with your daughter, she's going to improve really really can really can she really?

Yeah? I said, yeah, she will. I'm sure of it.

All you need to do is keep going forward. And I'm speaking from

experience now, I'm not speaking from like, oh, I know everything,

I got a degree, you know, I speaking her experience. If you

continue in this pathway, I'm sure your daughter improved. And I'm getting trickers

like oh, you know because the uh, the child is non verbal.

So recently said oh. On she said this word today, he's so encouraging

guys. Friends, If I didn't act upon it right that time and again,

like I say, it's a long journey. If I didn't allow God,

Okay, God, he's very sensitive to me. But can you do

something? Can I just be faithful? Can I just move one step at

a time and see where you lead me? Right? If I didn't do

that, I'm not sure whether this was will get the help. And there

are many more parents out there, many more people there are quiet. It's

why personally I'm passionate about it as well. You know. And that's the

wonderful thing about God. He can't use you to work the works that He

has for you. Amen. You know the Pharisees, right, they admitted

that they did not know who Jesus was. You want to know the benefit

we have here. We know who Jesus is. And because they didn't know

who Jesus was, they were therefore bound by a theology that were totally opposite

to what and who God really. Worse, they were unqualified to represent him.

Friends, my encouragement to you today is don't be like the Pharisee.

Know who Christ is, Understand who he is. He is someone important in

our lives? You know, do we really believe that God can work the

works of God? Now? I always try to think of things this way.

If God is so great, can't he use the synpathy? If God

is so great, can't he use the people here? It's not we,

you know, it's not our talent. No, it's it's God. What

can you do with us? That is the perspective. God, can you

do something right? Maybe we're sharing a lot of great stuff, you know,

like, oh, you know, go and be a blessing God.

No, can you ask God? God? What can you? What can

I do here? My family is in a What can I do here?

What can you do through me? My work is in a mess. Everybody's

swearing all the time. Everybody's saying Jesus, Jesus. But in a different

way, you know, what can you do through me? How can I

be the like? How can I be the soul? How can I be

the one that makes the difference? Well, it's not going to be easy.

As I was talking to the young person last night, the person said

it's so hard. I said, well, nobody said life it's easier.

You just gotta choose which heart you want to do love. Isn't that true?

It will be hard anyway. Wouldn't it be better that we go eat

hot God's way redder than experience heart any other way? Right, you gotta

choose your heart. Right, I pray that you choose the right heart.
