  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. Turn with me to Luke chapter thirteen, and

  3. I will be great if you have the Bible with you, because I will

  4. need you to really open up your Bible. But if you look at Luke

  5. chapter thirteen, you can see there and there's quite a few different titles subtitles

  6. in the chapter in the book, isn't in this particular chapter. So you

  7. can see one, two, three, four, five, six or seven

  8. different titles, seven different sections okay, in this particular chapter. Now if

  9. you look at the first subtitle, you see what's the title there? What

  10. does it say? Repent or perish? Okay? Talk about the second one

  11. parable the fake tree, and the third one a spirit of infirmity, then

  12. the fourth one. I like this group already, and you guys are okay,

  13. hop out with faith one. Okay, we stopped there for a while.

  14. Okay, Now, when you read your Bible, do you connect all

  15. this or do you read them singularly or separately? Usually singularly, isn't it?

  16. But what if I tell you that they're all actually connected? Wow?

  17. You know it's like sometimes sometimes you don't really get the story until you reach

  18. the ends, like, oh, all these different dots or these stars tend

  19. to align and to connect, isn't it. And it's pretty powerful because I

  20. always believe that, you know, when we come before God, right,

  21. we always say God, I need to do a miracle, I need to

  22. show up, I need to answer. Then I will believe me of you

  23. know, we have gotten into that type of thinking mentality before. Not not

  24. today. I don't have that faith, you know. I know I haven't

  25. read the Bible, but I really need you to come through, you know.

  26. And we ask for signs that we ask on wonder so that God may

  27. increase our faith. But sometimes we don't realize what we ask. We don't

  28. realize what we demand, and you know, sometimes when we think back for

  29. a while, you realize that it's actually quite I would say, let me

  30. immature in a way to ask like that, because if we are able to

  31. really label a bit in the world of God, and we're asked with a

  32. bit of faith God to open our eyes and a bit of our understanding,

  33. you will see that even inside the world of God, there are so many

  34. miracles, miracles that not just are happening in the past, but miracles that

  35. will speak directly to you right now, in this moment, that will just

  36. increase your faith. How many of you are looking for a breakthrough that will

  37. increase your faith? Only a few people? How many of you want to

  38. increase your faith? How many of you want to believe with the least burdened,

  39. you know, with the least strain and ephiicide Lord, I just believe

  40. you know that feeling. It's like I believe you know, it's that you're

  41. going to watch, whether it's Manchester United, I believe they will win.

  42. But sometimes when they have a horrible record, right, it's like I believe

  43. they will win. You know, there's a type of faith that takes a

  44. bit more energy. But when Manchester City is like I believe they will win,

  45. you have a live Your faith takes a lot less effort, isn't it

  46. the type of faith? You know? How many if you wanted to have

  47. the type of faith that's just so effortless and real and then Golord today,

  48. I believe, I believe you know. So that's the type of faith that

  49. we want to have, the type of victorious faith that we want to have

  50. as well. So I start here with the first part it talks here says

  51. it repent or perish. Let's read, Okay, I'm going to read here

  52. from verse one and it says there there there were present at that season,

  53. some who told him, okay, told Jesus about the Galileans, who whose

  54. blood pilot had mingled with us sacrifices. What in the world is this?

  55. Okay, I'm okay with miracles and Jesus healing, but suddenly talk about blood

  56. and mingled with sacrifices. This is weird, man, Okay. And in

  57. verse two, let's go on first and verse two it says that and Jesus

  58. answered and said to them, do you suppose that these Galilians were worse sinners

  59. than all other Glians because they suffered such things? I tell you no.

  60. But unless you repent, you were all like wise perish. Now, just

  61. to give you a very quick context about what they are talking about. You

  62. know, sometimes when you read the news, right, you read news or

  63. very weird incidences. Isn't it very weird or very tragic news? You know

  64. what I'm talking about. You know, I don't want to go into that

  65. advice. It's just very tragic news. And this is one of those you

  66. wake up in the morning and if you're out with Jesus, and then you

  67. heard the news and you tell Jesus, this is the news of the day.

  68. You know, something tragic happened in the land, in the place called

  69. Galilee. And what happened, you know, what happened is that they know,

  70. the Romans and the Galileans clashed, getting their clash because of tax uh

  71. non text disputes, and so the Romans wanted to text the temple, okay

  72. at the temple and so that whatever you collect from the people, you should

  73. give what is due to Caesar. But the Jewish people say that, no,

  74. what we collected is sacred. Why should we give it to you.

  75. We only serve one king and one lord, and there's God himself and not

  76. Caesar. And so because of that, Romans were upset because they dependent on

  77. the money to build all the infrastructure, including the equedocts and including their military

  78. as well. So what they do is that they infiltrated into the temple and

  79. they started to cause you know a bit of riot and a bit of disharmony

  80. that culminated in sort of like a black bath, and people or far and

  81. people some of them were murdered inside the temple, okay. And so you

  82. know, basically what happens is that you know, when you have spilled blood

  83. in the temple is considered unholy and desecrating the temple as well. And so

  84. when the people were offering their sacrifices, they're spilled their blood, you know,

  85. some of whether it's jew or Gentile, they're spilled there. And to

  86. the crown and to the Jewish people, you know, this is unholy,

  87. this is the secretion. And those who die okay, were probably considered you

  88. no, you know, unfortunate. Okay. But more than just then,

  89. you got to understand that there is a cultural view okay, there's a cultural

  90. review that is prevailing in the society as well. And what is the cultural

  91. review? Okay? When you wake up in the morning, okay, or

  92. in your younger days, right or any day you wake up, did you

  93. ever wonder why you are Malaysian and not an Australian, that you're Chinese or

  94. Indian, you know whatever, nationally, but you're not a Brazilian, you're

  95. not a Mexican. Have you wonder you are in PJ and you're not in

  96. in Sabah? Why are you here and not there, and sometimes you and

  97. then some people who are poorer or richer, more healthy and less healthy,

  98. who are more educated and less educator. Have you wondered, how did you

  99. roll the dice in your life? Have you under did you get to choose?

  100. Did you get to vote? No? Right? But some people,

  101. but so people had to reconcile what they experience with what they see. Why

  102. that person is richer than me? What did I do? And if you

  103. are richer, you start to help to do a different view. I'm richer,

  104. I'm better, I'm healthier because maybe I listen to God more and you

  105. don't. Maybe I'm not that better of a sinner. And you were born

  106. as a sinner, your parents were a sinner, and you were born in

  107. sin. That's why you are paying that price for it right now. And

  108. you know what I'm talking about here, that type of cultural view. Sometimes,

  109. you know, if you believe in reincarnation, you know you believe that,

  110. Hey, you know, if I'm not human, the next life I

  111. would be I don't know, a guinea pig, you know, a dark

  112. you know, maybe you know if I'm eagle or there's an upgrade, you

  113. know, so you think about this life. You know, you know it

  114. must be me, something wrong with me. You know that I'm deserving of

  115. that. That's why. It's something I did something wrong. Maybe I lie,

  116. I cheated, you know, I'm I'm unworthy. That is why I

  117. got into this car accident. That is why you know some that is that's

  118. how you reconcile worldview, you know what I'm saying. I'm saying, that's

  119. how you reconcile. This country got go awkway, there's country god tsunami.

  120. That's why. Because they did, they did, you reconcile your worldview.

  121. You know what I'm saying. So there is this prevailing review that something happened

  122. to them because there's something wrong with them, and I'm okay, because I

  123. did something right, and you have a superior view, okay in your worldview.

  124. Okay. So they had this kind of view, and they brought this

  125. to Jesus, and that's why they asked this question. Okay, you know

  126. you know then to which Jesus reply to them. Do you suppose these Galileans

  127. were worse siners? You know what I mean saying, because Jesus knows what

  128. the disciples were thinking. They were thinking these people suffered this fate because they

  129. might have done something wrong. Okay, but what did Jesus reply? What

  130. was Jesus's worldview? But Jesus said, told them said the word. He

  131. said, I tell you no, it is not because they were worse sinners

  132. or anything. But all you need to know is that unless you repent,

  133. you don't have to worry about them. But unless you repent, you will

  134. perish like them. What did Jesus mean to that? It is not your

  135. job to reconcile what is happening in the world, but it is your job

  136. to reconcile your relationship with the Father. And unless you solve that, you

  137. were perish like them. You are so busy body trying to tell how the

  138. world is, but you have not looked at the problem in your life.

  139. Ah, you know how saying here we are so we are sore righteous to

  140. tell the world what we see things, but you are so unrighteous in your

  141. own life. Wow, you see what I'm saying here. This is what

  142. Jesus exactly telling them. He said that, I tell you not, but

  143. unless you repent, unless you recognize you are simple, unless you recognize you

  144. need the forgiveness of God, you will likewise perish. And then he says

  145. on inverse for all those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed

  146. them, He talks about this is one news, and another news is that

  147. there are eighteen people got crushed by this tower that fell down on them.

  148. It was a tragedy. Okay, So we know, we know, we

  149. heard many tragedies before. Just recently there is a plane that literally crashed from

  150. the sky and hit people, you know, on the main street. It's

  151. a tragedy. But how do we reconcile this how worldview? Is it because

  152. there were worse sinners? No? Did Jesus say that? No? Do

  153. you think there were worse sinners than all other men who do in Jerusalem?

  154. I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all, like what

  155. he is, perish When something bad happens, and we like to focus on

  156. others, on them, isn't it where there's in your own family, whether

  157. it's in your own circle of friends, in the in the office, whether

  158. it's in the church. When something happens and you're always like, ah,

  159. that person's wrong. The person did points so much, ninety five percent of

  160. your energy and your righteousness is spent on pointing others fault and what their lack

  161. is. But Jesus said, you can do all that, but unless you

  162. are reconciled with God, you would likewise perish. Ah everybody, Okay,

  163. so far, I'll be up to a good start here. Okay, well

  164. everybody is scared. So but this is interesting. So Jesus is telling a

  165. worldview, but how does it connect to the next part, Because it's so

  166. interesting, isn't it. Jesus is one part trying to correct his disciples worldview

  167. and get them to have a proper godly spirit as my disciples, you ought

  168. to have a godly spirit. You should not be judging the world and focusing

  169. on the things that do not matter. There are things that are not what

  170. of godly importance? Okay, this is what he's trying to do that.

  171. But immediately after that, he talks about a parable that is very unique,

  172. almost like it cannot It's like, you take this plot, I cannot plot

  173. to the plot pointing it doesn't think it looks like it's a uk plut plot

  174. to the Malaysian plot. It cannot. It doesn't seem to connect. And

  175. then what is this parable about? He talks about the parable of a barren

  176. fig tree. And it's it's quite ominis now it's quite dark and threatening type

  177. of parable. It says here he spoke of this parable. A certain man

  178. had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on

  179. it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard,

  180. look for three years, I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree,

  181. and I found nothing. Yeah, you planted youdren. You found nothing after

  182. ten twelve years. Okay, cut it down. Why does it use up

  183. the ground. But the keeper answered and said to the man, sir,

  184. let it alone this year. Also, give it one more year, okay,

  185. and I will dig around it and I will fertilize it. And if

  186. it bears fruit, well that's good. Okay, that's what you desired.

  187. But if it's not, after that, you can cut it down. Okay.

  188. So that basically the keeper was pleading to the master, give it one

  189. more year and give it a chance. Maybe you change the environment, you

  190. fertilize it, and hope that you will barefoore. Then you solve the problem.

  191. But if it's not, we will deal with it later. How does

  192. this connect with the first part? So interesting? Okay, this is what

  193. we call sometimes what we call a mystery. And Jesus will talk about something,

  194. okay, he will give a mystery. And every mystery needs a key.

  195. Okay, every mystery in life he needs a key. Sometimes in life

  196. you will see this, or so you'll see a mystery. You understand,

  197. some man, the key lies in the scripture, the word of God God

  198. opening it. I said, oh, this is the key that unlocks the

  199. mystery. Okay, And so we see this part here. There is a

  200. very clear box or called a mystery. But we do not have the key.

  201. And if you try to open it interpret it. You can interpret it

  202. like anyhow, but you will be wrong. You can mean right. You

  203. can use a box and use it as a hammer, but is it meant

  204. to be a hammer. You can use a box and use it as a

  205. decoration, but is it meant to be like that. You can use a

  206. box and put it in my kitchen and can step on it to wash my

  207. dishes, but is it meant for that. No, the box is meant

  208. to be open with a key. And so when you study the scripture you

  209. need to know what is that key? Okay? And the thing is there

  210. is a key, but it's not within this part, but it's in this

  211. chapter. And so when you study the scripture you must look at the totality

  212. of it. Say, God, I don't understand this part. Maybe can

  213. you show me the key to unlock this? Okay, So we see the

  214. key is in the next part, in the third part. Okay, the

  215. key is come from a story. Not a story, actually something that actually

  216. happened in the third part. Okay, it talks about the spirit of infirmity.

  217. Interesting, isn't it that we have a back, we have the background,

  218. the worldview, we have a mystery, and now we have a real

  219. life event happening. It's like Jesus before he encountered this, this, this,

  220. this, this lady, and in this synagogue he's prophesying. But he

  221. prophesied by not giving you a revelation. He prophesied by giving you a mystery.

  222. So by the end of everything, you will be able to come back

  223. up again and understand what you're saying. Verse ten. Now it's says that

  224. he will was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. Key detail

  225. in synagogue and on the Sabbath, what are you not? What are you

  226. supposed to do it and not supposed to do on the sabbath. You're not

  227. supposed to work, okay, not even supposed to spit on the ground and

  228. make mud, you know. Whatever they seem to be working, you're not

  229. supposed to work. Okay. You're not supposed to bring in the animals through

  230. legate, none of that. Okay. And he says he Behold, there

  231. was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. Where have

  232. you seen this number before? In the earlier part, isn't it wow?

  233. Interesting? Okay? And was bent over and could in no way raise herself

  234. up. Now I identify with how she feels, you know. And now,

  235. everyone here, now, right now, if you could do this exercise

  236. with me? Everyone, okay, right now, wherever you're seated, right

  237. now, okay, try to touch your chest to your knee right now.

  238. Yeah, try to get its close to your chair to your knee right now.

  239. Okay. If you are disabled, peace, don't you know? Or

  240. if you're injured, please don't do like not like me. Okay. Now,

  241. wherever you are, stay there for eighteen years in some of you like

  242. the moment you bend down. Okay, this is not right. Ready,

  243. You're not ready, not right ready. You know, I know I don't

  244. want to do this. I don't want to go through this entire service.

  245. Just looking down like that This lady headed for eighteen years. You know what

  246. happened when you look down like that? You couldn't see anything. But that's

  247. the ground, isn't it. If you imagine if you walk down into this

  248. hall and you see, you know, Daniel come and shaking your hand,

  249. Hi, how are you You can't even look at his face, you know,

  250. how are you going to raise your hands orso? But yet in your

  251. life you can only see people who are straight, well, upright healthy.

  252. You know everything is proper for them. They have what confidence? You're right,

  253. how many of you? Sometimes you feel like, hey, everybody is

  254. straight upset you Maybe you know you know I did something wrong. People don't

  255. know. But people are just so full of confidence. People can connect and

  256. talk to anyone and there seems to be flourishing in their job, in their

  257. ministry, in their family. So well, something is wrong with me.

  258. You know, you have this world view that connects with the world. Some

  259. I did something wrong. Might be God is angry with me, you know,

  260. there will she's she's she's like that. But yet despite all these things,

  261. for eighteen years, right, she is still found today. On that

  262. day, she was found way in the House of God. And that's a

  263. very important thing that I want to highlight today. She probably feels unworthy for

  264. eighteen years you now and you can feel so much, and sometimes you feel

  265. like you have nothing already compared to everyone else. But yet on that day

  266. when it mattered, she was found in the House of God. She took

  267. whatever she whatever she had left. I don't have much, but today I

  268. will show up out of faith. It was only faith that brought her here.

  269. What other reasons would she come confidence, self esteem, promise of healing

  270. or anything. No, she did it out of faith. Why are you

  271. here today? Because there's a you know, Philip is what she diading.

  272. It's like he's like shaking because we have a really nice chairperson waiting and doctor

  273. Daniel. Why are you here? Really? If you are not well and

  274. you have everything against in your line, why do you even bother showing up

  275. today? And do you even believe that God measures and takes notice of you

  276. what little you have? Even you're grown and you're dragging yourself. Do you

  277. feel that God will measure and take notice of you. On that day she

  278. showed up, and he says here in verse twelve, But when Jesus saw

  279. her, Jesus could only see her when she shows up. You know,

  280. it's very important, isn't it? He caught when you show up, Jesus

  281. can call simple as that. Especially Jesus saw her. Jesus caught her,

  282. and Jesus said to her, hey, woman, you are loose from your

  283. infirmity. And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made

  284. straight and glorifying God what little she had. She showed up, not expecting

  285. Jesus to even be there. And who is even these Jesus who will come

  286. and say to her and call her and say that you are loosed from your

  287. infirmity? And she was here? Amazing? Isn't it? On this part

  288. alone? It should tell you the importance are of sometimes how powerful your little

  289. faith is? You know, don't despise you know, but I'm not calling

  290. when we come to church. We don't have to be one hundred percent of

  291. right. Shous on it. You come and you are, and you depend

  292. on God. You have me right you show up because you are fully dependent

  293. on God, not because anything else because you feel like it, not because

  294. you feel like, oh, nothing to do, if anything in the world,

  295. it's not even have to do with you, you know. But it

  296. comes down to the finality that my faith is counted by God, then you

  297. will show up like Abraham. This is what the faith of Abraham is.

  298. No, it's not because it's powerful, because even though it was little,

  299. he gave and it was countered as him as righteousness. Okay, so that's

  300. the first thing we learn. But then we have a separate response that comes

  301. out a different response. And they says in verse fourteen, but the ruler

  302. of the synagogue answered with indignation. Okay. They were indignant, you know,

  303. indignified, ecectionable, unified. They were indignated. Okay, but Jesus

  304. had healed. Because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, they were upset.

  305. On one part you see someone rejoicing, and one part you see someone angry.

  306. Angry, not because Jesus healed so called a sinner or he did something

  307. because he healed on the sab because he broke a law from God. And

  308. he said to the ground, and the teacher said to all the crowd to

  309. whom they all saw the miracle. There are six days on which men ought

  310. to quoting the law and quoting the specification and all everything that God says.

  311. It's not saying. God says. Therefore, come and be healed on them.

  312. Don't come on, don't come on this day. There are six days.

  313. Why are you Why couldn't you even focus on obeying the simplest of the

  314. law and heal on the other day, but your heal on this day.

  315. Come on those days and be hill and not on the Sabbath day. And

  316. immediately what did they do? They immediately overrite and cancel and overwhelm the miracle

  317. that was right before them, isn't it? That's why they do it.

  318. Immediately overrighte and cancel everything. Now, then the Lord answered him and the

  319. teacher and said, hypocrites, does not each one of you on the Sabbath

  320. lose his ox or donkey from the store and lead it away to water?

  321. It so not this woman being a daughter of Abraham, underlying their daughter of

  322. Abraham, whom Satan has bound, think of it for eighteen years, be

  323. loose from this bond on the Sabbath. Wow, now, why was Sabbath

  324. so important? To the Jewish people. I mean, if you know why

  325. why is Seba so important to the Jewish people? Okay, Sabath is not

  326. just on the week. If you read the old testimony, you will know

  327. that the scripture talks about Sabbath on the week and Sebbath over the years as

  328. well. Now, the reason why they emphasized so much on the Sabbath is

  329. because God has actually judged the nation of Israel over their disobedience of from following

  330. the Sabbath. Okay, uh, maybe you can turn with me to Liberticus

  331. chapter twenty five. Okay, let's go through this. Liberticus chapter twenty five.

  332. I'm gonna read from verse three to seven. Okay, so then you

  333. know what I'm talking about. I'm I'm not speculating here, Okay. Liberticus

  334. twenty five, Verse three. Okay, you're not talking about the Sabbath of

  335. the days, but the years. Okay. He says here six years you

  336. shall sow your six years. If you're on the land, you shall sow

  337. for it for six years. And six years you shall prune your vineyard and

  338. gather its fruits. But in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath or

  339. solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord. You shall neither

  340. sow your field, nor prune your vineyard. What grows on its on court

  341. of your harvest, you shall not rip nor gather the grapes of your untended

  342. vine. For it is a year of rest for the land and the sabbath.

  343. Produce of the land shall be food for you, for your male,

  344. for your female servants, your hired men, and the stranger who dwells with

  345. you, for your lifestock, and the beasts they are in your land,

  346. All its produced shall be for food. Now quite radical, isn't it?

  347. You See? The world is trying to solve economy. You know, maybe

  348. we raise interest rates, Maybe we have i mel loaned these long deadlae.

  349. Maybe we start introducing cryptola new economic policy text the rich, you know,

  350. free the poor, all sort of thing. What does God say if you

  351. own land, sow for it for six years, on the seven year you

  352. keep it for free? Now? How is Why did the Israelites you know,

  353. struggle with this keeping this law? How many of your own lands and

  354. your plant things on the land, How many of you? How many of

  355. light to plant things? Okay? Great your planet? What your planate fruits,

  356. vegetables and stuff like that. How many of you are have plant things

  357. are at the edge of your fencer or outside your house? Well, you

  358. know what I'm being Right, when I grew out my house, my my

  359. my my family's house, we stayed in the corner lot. And my dad

  360. is a great he's good at planting. And we had this nice mango tree

  361. at the corner there and and it's a it's not mango guini okay type of

  362. mango, a rounder okay, more pungent uh any hiss, that particular seat

  363. was very good, Okay, what's very fragrant. You can smile even from

  364. like fifty meters away. The smell, you know when when he reapons is

  365. very powerful. Uh. And a lot we give it a lot to people.

  366. But the funny thing, but the irritating thing is when it's about to

  367. bare fruit, a lot of it will perch out from our fence to the

  368. main walkway. And you know that people I was, you know, will

  369. just help themselves to your you know, wonderful bountiful produce of your land,

  370. you know, you know what I'm saying. And then when they start to

  371. grow, and you know how people are the same guy? Way is he

  372. walking outside my house out quite regularly? You're a laughing, you know,

  373. because you walk there is it? You're not even walking around? So why

  374. is this guy walking? And then he's standing there like looking at something,

  375. you know, and you know when it gets heavy, it drops down and

  376. robs down. Ready, the guy is planting, planning and scheming how to

  377. get it ready. You know, it's right ours our house and on and

  378. just before we go and pick it up, it's gone. How would you

  379. feel if you're upsets in it? Ah? Why can't people have the decency

  380. just to ask for me? And people just wait outside and take it?

  381. Imagine this, you know, if you're a lander, you sow for six

  382. years, you har us for six years. Okay, this is feed your

  383. family and everything, and on the seventh theater your land, you're produce.

  384. Right one morning you wake up and you open the window and you see foreigners,

  385. rich, poor wild beasts and animals coming to take all your produce.

  386. And you eat and they eat and they bring their relatives, they bring your

  387. everybody. Come, you know, let's take for the free food. You

  388. know, you know, like I know I Malasians for free food. We

  389. wag one another. You know, buffair, we wag in all everybody's coming,

  390. you know, having a feast at your expense. You know it's like

  391. barbe whoa. How would you feel at that moment this struggle? Because on

  392. that seven day a seven year, when they open the window and they see

  393. that happening, they will say, what that's not fair? My heart,

  394. labor we twelve and you work. It's so hot. That's not fair.

  395. And you go a bit deeper, and you when you start to hear some

  396. voice, those are mine. And when you come to that bottom of that

  397. younger piece radio, and what's the last remaining is the truth and the core

  398. of what you're really believing, and you are upset about because those are mine.

  399. That is exactly God meets you. That is exactly where God meets you.

  400. Is that exactly yours? Wow? You see her Sabbath? What was

  401. the purpose of Sabbath? There was it about just keeping one year free,

  402. one day free? Sabbath is a about what cleaning up the layers and getting

  403. the core of our hearts? What is it all about? Do you own

  404. the land? Do you own the Sunday? Or the Sunday belongs to the

  405. Lord makes sense or not. It gets the core of a question. Isn't

  406. it a core of a question that an entire nation couldn't help, couldn't own

  407. up to be, An entire nation couldn't own up to be. They couldn't

  408. do it. It was just so difficult, and they didn't know. They

  409. didn't obey the saber for four hundred and ninety years, for four hundred and

  410. ninety years. They were in the left for eight hundred years. They didn't

  411. obey theirself for four hundred and ninety years. And now God has called them

  412. to obey the Sabbath. You must. You are saying that for every promise

  413. God gives, it's like a contract. Why now, if you do,

  414. you will rip this benefit. But if you don't, you will suffer this

  415. penalty and this consequence. What is the consequence of not obeying the Sabbath?

  416. Let's turn to a levity twenty six, So then you will learn the idea.

  417. Okay, let me think it's twenty six, says okay, verse thirty

  418. three. Okay, So twenty sixth verse thy three, you can underline that

  419. I will scatter you among the nations and draw out a sword after you.

  420. Your land shall be desolate and your cities waste, then the land shall enjoy

  421. its what saburbs. As long as it lies desolate and you are in your

  422. enemy's land, then the land shall rest and enjoy its sabbath. So what

  423. is the consequence of not obeying the sabab? The Lord is literally proclaiming,

  424. if you refuse to obey the sabbath and you refuse to honor the land as

  425. it's intended to do, not just to serve you, but to serve the

  426. Lord and the poor, the land will literally spit you out. You get

  427. me right. The land well comes to you, but the land will spit

  428. you out. A lot of times. You see this image, you know,

  429. being used in a speed out because it taste sour bitter. You are

  430. littwarm, neither cather hot, and I will spit you out. You get

  431. me right. You know it's a very powerful and a powerful image. You

  432. know, the lad will literally cast you out. And what happened. What

  433. doesn't mean cast you out? It means you will become an exile. You

  434. know what I'm saying that you're becoming an exile. So what is the contract?

  435. Seven years? If you don't one year, you will rest. So

  436. if you don't for seven years, you will all got one year or sabbath

  437. year. So do the math. Four hundred and ninety years they did not

  438. obey the sabbath? So how many years is the penalty? How many years?

  439. Great finance people? Four hundred and ninety years? If you didn't pay

  440. your summons? How much do you owe for every seven years? All one

  441. year? Seventy? Isn't there? It's so scared. Everybody is so scared

  442. that for four hundred and ninet years you accumulated your summons. You end up

  443. what accummulating seventy years of eight thousand and did Israel pay for their exam?

  444. Did they pay? They pay? Where were they exiled to Babylon? How

  445. many years? Seventy years? Oh? Now you say, after you pay

  446. the summon? Now you even pay a parking ticket for years after you pay

  447. one time? Oh, you keep hoping that DBK will give you a discount,

  448. by you never discounter you know, No, I will pay all my

  449. summer. Oh my barking readyar you? No, not strike once you fear,

  450. you know. And so because of that the whole nation learned. And

  451. when they came out from the from the from their captivity. One of the

  452. main things the Jewish Committee learn and then also the priests and then the Pharisees

  453. came emphasizing with the whole people was obedience to the law of God. So

  454. they insist on obeying the Sabbath to the tea. You know what I'm saying,

  455. Yeah, obeying you know everything. You got it partially right, but

  456. you misunderstood what the purpose of Sabbath was about. What was the purpose of

  457. Sabbath? Was it about just one day free? But who was blessed on

  458. that seven year? Who was blessed everyone else? But when you said that,

  459. when you when you when you ask everyone to observe sirth, was anyone

  460. blessed? You are saying, yeah, no one wants bless You missed the

  461. heart of it. You completely miss the heart what God was trying to deal

  462. with you and what what God was trying to bless other people. You know.

  463. So there's there is the observant of Sabbath, but without the power of

  464. Sabbath. You know what I'm saying, It's that you come back for Chinese

  465. New Year, but then there's no power in it. You come forward reunion,

  466. but everybody is doing their own thing. You missed, the idea,

  467. the purpose of the of what God instituted, completely missed it. Okay,

  468. So there's basically the teaching on Sebeth everybody. Okay, so you learn understand

  469. what I'm saying here. So this is there's a what I'm talking about seburb

  470. So now we know why these people are really sticky about this Sabbath. But

  471. they missed it. And on this wonderful day Jesus healed a woman that was

  472. bent uh and with informative for eighteen years, and now on this day the

  473. miracle has been blessed. They now try to correct and lecture Jesus about the

  474. law and what God has been telling them all these years. And what did

  475. Jesus say here? Okay? Then Jesus say that you hypocrites, You say

  476. that you are double minded. You wear a mask, but then your few

  477. faces hidden. He talks about, that's not each one of you on the

  478. sabbath, untie, his ox and his donkey. What does that mean?

  479. He's saying? Is this? And no, you're saying so not work,

  480. isn't it? But the things that are most precious to you, the things

  481. that your life depends on. There are your belonging that are your family,

  482. or that sustains you, your donkey and your ox, even on this day

  483. you untie them, okay, from the major and nourish them because you care.

  484. Okay, you will do this for your own family or the things that

  485. nourishes you. And you take pity on it, even you know inside your

  486. donkey and you take pity on it because they need to drenk water. You

  487. will do it. But yet when it comes to this woman, and it's

  488. not just any woman, but this is a daughter of Abraham? Why is

  489. it mean a daughter of Abraham? What is Abraham known for faith? What

  490. qualifies you to be a daughter or a son of Abraham? Is it because

  491. you are circumcised? Are you, guys here a son and daughter of Abraham?

  492. Let me ask you? Are you a son and daughter Abraham? Why

  493. would you want to be a son daughter Abraham? Because you will be blessed?

  494. Isn't it? Because God had made a covenant with God? All the

  495. nations will be blessed because of you. Many nations will be blessed because of

  496. you, you want to be a son and daughter? Ever, because you

  497. will become a blessing, you will inherit the blessings of Abraham, isn't it?

  498. But what made Abraham such a blessing? Was it because he was circumcised?

  499. Was he made righteous before or after he was circumcised? Question? Was

  500. he righteous before or after he was circumcised? Be before he was circumcised?

  501. You're going and read your go and read Romans and Hebrews. Okay, Abraham

  502. was righteous before he was circumcised. Circumstansion does not make you righteous. Circumstansion

  503. is like a wedding band. You know, did you that you're wearing a

  504. wedding means you're married. Doesn't mean that you're fully in love. You know.

  505. It's just a symbol. You're not. You're not, That's what I'm

  506. saying. It's a symbol you not. Were you in love on that day

  507. when you're married or before before? Of course? Right? You better be

  508. before you tell your wife and your husband? Who will dank goodness? I've

  509. fallen in love before I got married. Man who not suddenly appeared the guy?

  510. The guy was so nervous. I'm in love, not in love in

  511. a woman. Also, I think I'm in love. Yes, I would

  512. say about no, you were in love, That's why you made the commitments.

  513. You got me saying that is why you made the commitment. You go

  514. to the next level. You already are in love. Abraham walked before God

  515. and little faded. He gave when he saw the start that he believe God.

  516. He was a counter to him for righteousness. And God saw that and

  517. gave him righteousness. And then God introduceds circumissions. Say you know what's what?

  518. It's just a sign. I give you this ring. Yeah, men,

  519. right, a wedding ring, Sidney Fair my love and my commitment to

  520. you to death. The worst part it was the seal. It was not

  521. what made you righteous. It was just a symbol. Okay, that is

  522. what. That is what you know what? Being a children of Abram means

  523. what? You are not a child of Abrahm because you are circumcised, you

  524. are a child of Abraham. Listener, this is very important. Now.

  525. When you believe like Abraham did, when you do, you are a child

  526. of your father. When you do exactly as your father did, Listener,

  527. why why why, why? Why? Why? Why? Is Jesus the

  528. son of God. Whatever he does comes from the Father, and between him

  529. and the Father, there is no variation. You're a son of because of

  530. biological. You know, in the ancient times, when your father is a

  531. carpenter, you become a carpenter. When you're a fisherman, you become a

  532. fisherman. There is why they says son a bad jo or Simon's son,

  533. or something like that, because they identify the father. What the father does,

  534. the son does as well. And when Jesus comes, like whatever the

  535. Father says, I do, my will is to do that. My food

  536. is to do the will of the Father. I am his son, in

  537. a son of in Bilgica. Sense I am I come from him. I

  538. am his. He is my source. His DNA is my DNA. Imprint

  539. is my imprint, because I do what he tells, I do what he

  540. pleases. I do exactly as who he is. So when you believe like

  541. Abraham did, even when your faith is so little, like this lady,

  542. she was filled with informaty for eighteen years, but on that day, out

  543. of a little she believed, she believed like Abraham, and and when Jesus

  544. saw her and caught her, she received righteousness. That is why Jesus say

  545. that she is the daughter of Abraham. When you come out of faith to

  546. here today, you are a son and daughter of Abraham when you're in your

  547. home offices, when you choose to believe out of the little fasure, you're

  548. a son and daughter of Abraham, and Jesus recognizes that there's a profound truth.

  549. You know. You don't say what I'm saying here now, everybody get

  550. Let me ask you a question again. Are you a son and daughter of

  551. Abraham today? Yes? Or not? I don't gonna say. It's such

  552. a big title. You are people not because you've got a sur name,

  553. but because you believe like Abraham believed. Amen, Amen are okay? Now

  554. it says here whom Satan has bound for eighteen years? How did Satan bound

  555. her? How do you bind? Faith will try to bounce when you put

  556. things that are filled with unbelief, things that will discourage you, things like

  557. an infirmity, things like sicknesses that make you lesser from people around you,

  558. makes you feel like something is wrong with you. The culture will make you

  559. feel small. Your circumstances, your family, your sins will make you feel

  560. small, and you will try to bury every single little faith that you have.

  561. You know, not when God didn't come to you are to looking for

  562. anything that you did right now, he's looking for you. Do you believe

  563. out of faith? And sometimes when you're sore, beaten up right, you

  564. don't want to show up because you completely lost faith, isn't it? And

  565. Satan binds us and cause us to be prisoners by discouraging us more than anything

  566. else. But the fact that you guys showed up this morning means what you

  567. are willing to be set free by the word and the love of Jesus Christ.

  568. Amen. You came by faith, you shot by faith. That is

  569. why parents, you know you know in young people, you come here,

  570. it's no small fit. You're coming here is a defeat to the enemy.

  571. You know understand what I'm saying. You coming here and you're bringing your dragging

  572. your child here, It's a defeat to the enemy and the victory for Jesus.

  573. When you draw your child here, God can call her, God can

  574. summon them and him and her. God can touch them, and God can

  575. heal them. But don't even show up. What can God? Do?

  576. You know what I'm saying here? You must as believers, as families,

  577. as parents, we must continue this truth to do what is right. So

  578. then we surround ourselves and our family with blessings and possibilities. You know you

  579. are the safeguard of your family. Amen, okay, okay, Now say

  580. whom sat the bound for a be loose from this bond? On set of

  581. he said that you treat Okay, you got hypocrist with your own animals.

  582. You took pity on them. You too, pity that you were watered down.

  583. But this lady, who is more precious than your donkey and your oks,

  584. who in the eyes of God is a daughter of Abraham, you deny

  585. her. You are a hypocrite. Makes sense. You're a hypocrite if you

  586. want to condemn her, Why didn't you do that to your own anymore?

  587. Hey, donkey, you're thirsty today's sabbath. You needn't do that. You

  588. are a hypocrite. You say one low, but you didn't apply the other

  589. way. So what you displayed today before everybody is not your observance to the

  590. law. What you displayed to the world that is known is your hypocrisy and

  591. your favoritism. You are not a follower of the law, and the law

  592. will not recognize you. Wow, that's why have you heard of you?

  593. When you studied the home study, I am the door ship. The door

  594. is the word, isn't it? Scripture? Isn't it? You say what

  595. you say are but is it true in your heart? But if your heart

  596. is hypocritical, the door keeper will not recognize you. Okay, now everybody,

  597. okay, so far, let me draw to a close here. Okay,

  598. So what happens when Jesus expose them completely and utterly? Right? All

  599. his adversary says were put to shame, and all the people rejoice at the

  600. glorious things that were done by them by him? Okay now, and he

  601. said, okay, now, let me go to the scripture here. Now,

  602. so we've seen one story. Okay, let me to a close.

  603. How does this story connect with the mystery box that we had in the beginning?

  604. Do you find a key here? Okay? So this story, entire

  605. story is a key. Now, let's go back to that story again.

  606. A man with a fig tree. Okay, he says, here, for

  607. three years I come looking for fruit and found nothing. Cut it down,

  608. But another person says, no, give it one more year. Put fertilizer

  609. around it and maybe it'll be Okay, Why do you do that? Why

  610. do you dig around and put fertilizer? How do you know? How do

  611. you diagnose her what's really wrong with a tree? You go away stetoscope,

  612. and how do you know? Is it the sea? Is it the insect

  613. a disease? Is it the weather? Is it the crown? How do

  614. you know? It's very hard, isn't it? The truth is very hot?

  615. And so what you do, as a doctor will do they slowly isolate

  616. the problems. You know, if you have a song called isolating the problems,

  617. you isolate, Oh what is causing the favor? Is it because of

  618. it? So you isolate. So what this keeper is trying to tell the

  619. owner is, let's isolate the problems. Let's change one variable, one varian

  620. and see whether it makes the most. The variable that we can introduce is

  621. change the fertilizer, because I see the weather and then everything. Okay,

  622. maybe it's the fertilizer. And if the fertilizer works, then the trees goes.

  623. But if the fertilizer doesn't work, then we know can properly confirm that

  624. the tree is bad? Isn't it? You cannot do anything to help you

  625. anymore, isn't it? Then you cut it down now, which is a

  626. very very fair thing to do. This thing you isolate, give you a

  627. chance, then not you cut it down. Now my question is this,

  628. who is that tree? Remember the keyer, what's the key the story?

  629. Who is that tree? What is the fertilizer? Who is the tree?

  630. Us? It's a fig tree. The tree is the Israel is basically Israel

  631. themselves or when you look at fake normally represents the real. But in this

  632. case you're not just Israel, but specifically the teachers, the ones that God

  633. has appointed and ordained, the temple system, the priests. There was supposed

  634. to what to bear fruit? Isn't it They received from the law their bare

  635. fruit, and people can eat and enjoy from it. True or not?

  636. The trees but bare footman a church is called barefoot? True? Not?

  637. But this lady for eighteen years coming to there has she been healed? Even

  638. when she was here as she was being ridiculed? All what fruit have they

  639. shown? And not only that? What is the fertilizer? What is the

  640. fertilizer? The fertilizer is the miracle? You see how when you experience a

  641. miracle in your life? What happens? I mean, if you experience America

  642. before right before personally or right in front of your hommy of you experience America

  643. before. What's the exact feeling that you feel? Tell me, honestly,

  644. what do you feel? Hallelujahes praised the Lord. But if someone is raised

  645. from the dead right in front of you, and if God restored your food

  646. leg if you be amputated, what would you feel? He praise the Lord,

  647. isn't it? But I can tell you before you praise the Lord,

  648. you'll be fearful. You know why, because you realize God is real.

  649. God is so real, God's eyes on you. You feel with the fear

  650. and the reality of God. Yeah, I mean right, miracles. Jesus

  651. has performed miracles for what so that people are touched? Yeah, miracles are

  652. done. But remember now the people keep asking Jesus for more miracles, but

  653. yet he denied them. You know why? Why is it that Jesus will

  654. perform miracles in certain places with certain people, but in certain places he will

  655. not do. Why touch money? If you do, amraca more lives,

  656. My Jesus get done ten more times than miracles. But why do you not

  657. do? It has to come down to the purpose of miracles and the effectiveness

  658. of miracles. When you miracles, that's one thing, and one thing.

  659. Mainly, it is to point people to God. When you see a miracle

  660. feeding the five thousand, raising a man, why's the thing that is about?

  661. Oh Jesus, can you know there is a God? There is a

  662. God. God is real. When you when a miracle it happens to your

  663. unbelieving, unbelieving family, what strikes in their heart? Your God is real.

  664. There's a God, and God looks at us. God pays attention.

  665. All this time I thought that God doesn't care. He cares. All this

  666. time, I thought that God doesn't judge. He judges. You get me

  667. right. Suddenly you are disarmed in all by the miracle of God, because

  668. God is really not you know what I'm saying. Yeah, you become completely

  669. disarmed by the reality of God because of the miracle. But yet there are

  670. those when they see a miracle, it has no effect, you know why,

  671. No matter what miracle happens, they will choose not to believe. And

  672. to them, even a miracle as great as someone who is eighteen years boundary

  673. heal you will have no effect. And that is that tree. That tree,

  674. No matter what forty lies are you put suppose to spur, supposed to

  675. produce the fruit of God will not have an effect of the tree. But

  676. yet to those who believe, what did Jesus say, it's like the next

  677. parable, the parable of the mustard seed? What did he say? In

  678. verse fourteen? And he said, what is the Kingdom of God like?

  679. And to watch all? I compare it like a fig tree that does not

  680. produce fruit. No, it is like a mustard seed, the smallest of

  681. seeds, not a big glorious tree, you know, the smallest of said

  682. your men have put into his gather, not even without forty lighters, you

  683. know. And it became a large tree, and the birds of the ant

  684. nestor in its branches. So a woman who has been sore, pushed down

  685. by society, pushed down by the very temple she visited. But when Jesus

  686. comes and touches her, her faith grew her great. Her faith sprouted because

  687. in her what goodness? You get me? Right? She was not like

  688. the Pharisees, She was not like the teachers. When she saw the miracles,

  689. she glorified God. And now for life comes not out for life the

  690. producers. This tree is able to produce fruit, and everyone around her was

  691. blessed to glorify who glorified God. And then the last one he says it

  692. in verse twenty, and to watch or I like in the Kingdom of God.

  693. It is like the leaven which a woman took a small leaven, as

  694. small as it is, and hid it in three measures of meal till it

  695. was all eleven. So what is the gist of all? After all this?

  696. You see? What? Now? Do you see the mystery box being

  697. unpacked? Right now? The mystery box is about judging what the teachers and

  698. the pre system, and they are found to be fruitless. And when they

  699. are fruitless, even when the miracle was performing, they will be cut down.

  700. Which is what exactly happened. You know, the disciples came and took

  701. over. But the testimony of the warmer will forever be remembered because she believed,

  702. isn't it The testimony of the woman of a little faith for generations will

  703. be remembered even until now. That is why when you read the Bible,

  704. and sometimes you see God I need miracles, any miracles. When you read

  705. the Bible as it is, don't you experience the reality of God right now?

  706. Where you assisted? Do you believe? Do you realize that your faith

  707. matters true or not. Everything is in the Bible. People. You get

  708. excited because when you read it, it's like the miracles jump out into a

  709. reality and sits in your heart. God, even though my life has not

  710. experience better, I believe according to your word, and my life starts to

  711. change without the job promotion, whatever it is. God, God's work is

  712. more powerful than my life's circumstances. Amen. We hope you've been blessed by
