  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day today. I just wanted to share something with your

  3. which I caught from reading my Bible. Is something with This term is called

  4. reach towards God. Reach towards God, riach to God. It's from directly

  5. from Scripture. Look chapter twelve, verse the teen. All right, look

  6. chapter twelve, verse their teen. I'm just going to do a self devotion

  7. with earth. Then one of the crowd said to him, Teacher, tell

  8. my brother to divide inheritance with me verse fourteen. But he said to him,

  9. man who made me a judge and arbitrator over you verse fifteen. That

  10. he said to them, take here, beware of conrteousness, for once life

  11. does not consist in the abundance of things he possesses. I'm not sure how

  12. many of you really would ask this question in front of Jesus, which made

  13. this one. I'm trying to say, this is God, miracle worker,

  14. of all the things the man could ask for. He's asking for earthly inheritors

  15. instead of an eternal destination. Nicko Dimmers. When he met Jesus, he

  16. was asking her, what must I do to have eternal life? How can

  17. I be born again? Other people was asking Jesus about, like how is

  18. it that you can call yourself the son of man? But here's an individual

  19. of all the things he could ask, he said, teacher, please tell

  20. my brother to give me the inheritance. And you know, God a ready

  21. Jesus Christ that he would use something to minister to people's heart. He first

  22. says that take him beware of consteousness. He's trying to tell this individual that

  23. be careful what you're asking for, because many times we pray ask God for

  24. open doors, not knowing what lies behind the door, what will actually captivate

  25. our heart and our attention. That he goes in deeper. He says that

  26. life does not consist in the bundance of things. Now, before you store

  27. me and just say that you try to talk me, talk to me about

  28. our money management. No, I just wanted to show something. If you're

  29. in verse sixty, then he spoke the parable a ground of a certain rich

  30. man, you plentiful. Now there is no problem with the ground. In

  31. fact, God wants to see an increase. That He thought to himself,

  32. saying, what shall I do since I have no room to store my crops.

  33. So he said, I will do this. I will pull down my

  34. bonds and build greater, and therefore I will store all my crop and all

  35. my goods. Verse nineteen, that I say to my soul, so you

  36. have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat,

  37. drink, and be merry. God knew exactly what was going on in the

  38. individual yours heart. He wasn't against the ground, yielding, plentiful or beingful,

  39. but he was after worse nineteen when the individuals say that, so you

  40. have many goods laiter for many years, Take your ease, eat, drink,

  41. and be merry. In fact, friends, there is no thought of

  42. God in this rich man's life. Many times our journey of life, we

  43. accumulate. We do. We accumulate one thing another one. Friends. Some

  44. almost are very good accummulating wealth, savings. Praise God, you have a

  45. gift of savings. Other power verse are very good accumulating tes, very good.

  46. We have very good one. Every time we tap out we have we

  47. will put it aside. Okay, we'll put it aside. We show one

  48. can use one more time, two more time. Right. Sometimes the coward

  49. also we still use it can, so you can use because the fish,

  50. we still can't. We accumulate, so we will say we still have stuff

  51. from our primary school, right, cannot let go a lot of memories.

  52. I mean right around. That's not I'm not talking about right around. I'm

  53. just saying we like to accumulate. We are commut stem coins, right,

  54. we do, some communicate clothings, right, we do, friends, we

  55. do the problems of the commulation. The problem is what we're doing, what

  56. we're cummlate. This was what God was after with the rich man's heart,

  57. because it's said this that wor streateing. But God said to it full this

  58. night your soul require of you. Then who's will those things be which you

  59. have provided? See many times in our journey of life, isn't it true

  60. that the more we accumulate, the more we have, we find it hard

  61. to let go. We really really finding how to let go on. First

  62. up, don't talk about money. It's like, okay, just put money

  63. out the picture. I've always talking about money. To put on the other

  64. picture. The stuff we have right now, the stuff we have right now.

  65. Sometimes some of us here we got Christmas caps that we get from Christmas,

  66. give exchange someone whos are very quick give it immediately, but some of

  67. us sees still have it in our cupboard. Say one day I will use

  68. it. One day I have guests in the house, we have stuff that

  69. we need to get rid off, already give it away so we can repurpose

  70. and recycle for other people to use it. But we still are still keeping

  71. it. We say one day I will use it. But this is what

  72. Jesus after because he said that I'm here to bless you, to be a

  73. blessing you. We are just called to be stewards of what God has given

  74. us. So it's someone that manages God. What is it that you want

  75. me to do? But many times that when God bless us us, that

  76. God, thank you so much, it stops with me. So we're fifteen

  77. is where I'm trying to get that. Take here, beware of conveteousness,

  78. for once life does not consist in the abundance of things he possesses. Let

  79. me read the New Living Translation to your beware God against every greed. Conveciousness

  80. is actually greed for something that you don't have. We live in the world

  81. whereby when we see pictures, I want what their person is having. I

  82. want what she is heavy, I want what he is having. And many

  83. times in our journey we're always asking God, if only I can have what

  84. he's having, that I'll be happy. But God is trying to go deeper

  85. in our hearts that possession doesn't make us happy more happy. The more you

  86. have doesn't mean we are more happy with it. So let me just try

  87. to break it down for us. Beware of conveciousness to be reaching God.

  88. God's asking us to be reaching him. He says, it's twenty one.

  89. What's twenty So sorry, I'm just dropping here and there. Just allow me

  90. just to read one final scripture that for him who lays up treasure for himself

  91. is not rich towards God. He will lay up treasure for himself is not

  92. rich towards God. I find one of the hardest things as a believer.

  93. It's not the focus on self in is hard. When I was in UK,

  94. I love people, I love the campus asked me question, how do

  95. I know that God wants me to stay in the UK. How do I

  96. know God wants me to stay in UK? When you when you travel just

  97. fine, if you go to Melbourne, They ask the same thing. You

  98. know, campusill graduated, They want to find a job that how do I

  99. know that God wants me to stay in this land? And my answer is

  100. always very saef. I say that if God is in the picture, if

  101. your motivation to stay because of a job, though, because your job will

  102. come and go, your job will come and go, I say, your

  103. motivation to stay in the place has to be bigger than the job. If

  104. you say that to this job, I can stay. I want to be

  105. part of the church that God. God has to be in the center.

  106. When the job expectation gets higher, God does it get push out the window.

  107. There is no way. When God blesses a person, we get more

  108. busy at job, and our commitment to the lot shrinks. Our desire to

  109. know Him shrink, our faith in Him shrink, and after a wild friends,

  110. we come to a place whereby our faith is just attendance. Now before

  111. you store me, friends, do not like that your afternoon service. I

  112. know, I know it's Harry Hart. Okay, I know you could be

  113. sleeping already right. But to be reached towards God is to avoid the coversousness

  114. lifestyle. To be reached towards God's to award the coloriousness lifestyle. We live

  115. in the januation, whereby it is very easily to fall into this trip.

  116. For example, let it's just through the one one scripture, therefore put to

  117. death the members which are funication and cleanness. Passion even desires friends, who

  118. wants who can all this fortification? It's a physical act. Right you're a

  119. white Okay, even desires you if you know it's even your white right.

  120. Consteousness is part of it, which is idolatry. You don't make consciousness and

  121. idolatry immediately were no friends. It is very subtle. It is so subtle

  122. that it starts with God, if only I have and when the door opens

  123. to walk in it, wow, it's nice. Slowly, but surely we

  124. finally have to let go. See as believers friends, I truly believe that

  125. none of us they won't make ideas of anything. One. Isn't it true

  126. if it's an either you run away as believers, right as believers when you

  127. see things, and either you run away but couldn't be friends. Our hearts

  128. are solely pulled away from the Lord, and we don't even know it,

  129. solely being dragged away from God. And we don't even know it, and

  130. we use this state. But I can manage. I still believe in God.

  131. I still serve him in my own way. First, at todies that

  132. XPI, I say God that it is not after all talents he is not.

  133. We're always offer all talents up to the Lord. He never asks for

  134. our talents. He always asks for our hearts. He always asks for our

  135. hearts first. Our talents is secondary. Friends, but many times you offer

  136. about talents to him. Now are our hearts. And that's why sometimes our

  137. worship is personal worship. There is no power because our heart is not in

  138. it. Therefore, put to death your members, which are on earth.

  139. He didn't say manage. He don't say that you can manage your consteousness.

  140. He's asking you ears this afternoon that some things in life you're not supposed to

  141. entertain. Friends. I know nice things are nice. Friends. We all

  142. like nice things. But it is not wrong to like nice things, but

  143. to have nice things to detend. This is how you should live. Then

  144. we are in trouble whip. But one day, friends, I know of

  145. a sleep in airconn room. Majority of us. One day the air con

  146. room doesn't work. For four days are you yes, for four days doesn't

  147. work? Can we still sleep and praise God the next day? What point

  148. if if the comfort is no longer there for a season, this is a

  149. season or forever for a season, can we still say God is still faithful?

  150. Because many times in life we make a lot of eithers in the life,

  151. but we find it hard to let go and God this after the wants

  152. who minister to us, because take heat, beware, beware of the colatures

  153. that's in our hearts. Let me just read a few scriptures to your luke

  154. Chapter sorry, med Few, chapter six twenty four. No one can save

  155. to masters. You can't. The Bible did not ask us to manage to

  156. masters. As believers, we think we can manage or you know, manage

  157. this and manage that. God has never asked us to manage it. No

  158. one can save to master either he hit the one and love the other,

  159. or else he'll be loyal to one and despise the other. God really knows

  160. our hearts. He already could see through our excuses. He can already see

  161. through our motive. Because many we try to manage, manage our faith,

  162. manage God. But God always ask us to surrender. You say if we

  163. surrender the amendment, we just have the acknowledge of your surrending amendment. But

  164. if we're surrender to God, we have this is this is the Lord.

  165. And many times when we go to water, but please, we also say,

  166. do you confess that Jesus Christ is the person, Lord and Savior.

  167. Every one of them will say, I do one, but I do stop

  168. after one month because it is he still Lord in the midst of the business,

  169. and not it is he still Lord in the midst of my business.

  170. Not because if he is, then therefore there has to be a brick to

  171. in our life. Friends, He says, therefore, be aware thet's just

  172. just read to your filmal scriptures a right psalms oneman night worse to the tree

  173. because coatures is an idolatree. God wants us to put it to death.

  174. Sounds one night Verse to the tree speaks to us a way out. Teach

  175. me, oh Lord, your statutes, so I can keep it to the

  176. end. Teach me, oh Lord, your status, so I may keep

  177. it to the end. God expect us to ask him really to understand his

  178. word. Worse, if I give me a understanding such and keep your Lord

  179. indeed I shall observe, observe it with all my whole heart. Worse they

  180. teach worse the before I say, and give me understanding. One of the

  181. dangers of modern Christianity is with our foundation of faith was not It's not found

  182. on the word, but rather on the songs that we sing. The foundation

  183. of faith is not found in the scripture because we had the scripture, but

  184. we actually move, we know, actually no more songs, and our theology

  185. comes from the songs rather from the scripture and God. This afterwards encourage us

  186. that get into the world word. You see, to get rid of that

  187. that self focused on self. Friends, you need to put the flesh to

  188. death, where as you put the flesh with that. I'm not asking us

  189. to crucify to pin and stuff like, Okay, I'm saying that saying by

  190. saying yes to God, we are actually crucifying the flesh some of us.

  191. You are delivered anger we have we have we have this and seen anger in

  192. our hearts, and forgiveness is one of them. We had to. We

  193. have to forgive people deep hatred, deep seated and forgiveness. But God is

  194. asking us to forgive. But how did you don't understand the person took advantage

  195. from me. Yes, he understands. You still have to forgive the person

  196. hurt me with these words. Yes, you still have to forgive. You

  197. don't understand. Yes, I may not fully understand what happened. But God's

  198. word is asking us to let go and trust him. Many times in our

  199. life we find it hard because we always think that it doesn't apply to me.

  200. One of the hardest thing as a follow of Christ is to deal things

  201. with the matters of a heart. Giving money is slightly easier. I'm not

  202. saying it's easy, slightly easier. Matters of the heart is the hardest.

  203. None of us say it, will confess and ever say that we have a

  204. spirit of consciousness. None. But if we actually go deeper in the hearts,

  205. and sometimes we do have we do, and God wants to go deeper

  206. because he wants us to have a breakthrough. He's asking us that life doesn't

  207. consist, or rather, life is not found in the things that we accumulate.

  208. How many people actually have the identity in the workplace, in the possession

  209. and stuff like that. The moment when there's no more work, no more

  210. identity, no more life, the moment you don't have a certain thing.

  211. There's no more identity nor more worth. That's why Jesus has a minister to

  212. this individual by say that do don't you know that you're of value? That

  213. if I could fit the birds of the air, I can feed you as

  214. well. Aren't you so much more valuable than the birds of the air.

  215. Many times in our journey as a Christian and we tend to forget that we

  216. are out of value. That's why God created us. We are the only

  217. creatures that God made in his image. We are the only beings made in

  218. God's image, friends, and that's why we are so valuable. The Satan

  219. always want to dilute the value. He always wants Do you know when the

  220. last temptation that of Jesus, When say brought Jesus up on the mouth and

  221. sis saity to Jesus, the devil took him out actually high mountain and presented

  222. to the whole I show him the whole kingdoms of the world and the glory.

  223. He said this to Jesus, if you bowther the worship and all they

  224. belongs to you. Friends, it is not a one level promotion. There

  225. is a pinnacle of success. Really, there is something which you never had

  226. before, and the moment that when it was presented, if it's presented to

  227. you, I guarantee us declaring myself, we will struggled to actually say that.

  228. I shall only say God. Sometimes when you see this opportunity, you

  229. know what most Christian I say, it will be not praise God for his

  230. provision. But Jesus, new friends, it's more than the kingdom, is

  231. more than everything. It's after the worship. See the spirit of college comes.

  232. Friends. He wants to rob me of your worship towards him, really

  233. wants to rob the worship of your worship towards him. That's why Jesus said

  234. that away from you saytan, it's written you shall worship the lot your God.

  235. Only him shall you surf? Very easy friends, to bow because you

  236. never had it. You work so hard for something. Finally when it's presented

  237. to you are Yeah, got provided my brick shore I can share testimony.

  238. There's our coordinator in uh. His name is Young. He's a very busy

  239. auditor. He really works. I think I heard one time he worked until

  240. what he fated at his job. I don't know how it is why he

  241. fated his job. Friends, right. I thought Malaysia, Malaysia audience bad

  242. really, but that one next level. Okay, maybe it's just him,

  243. but but it means of his business. Fast day was that said means of

  244. business. One thing, one thing Dave was just telling me was this,

  245. that he's so busy, but yet when he's free, when he's free,

  246. he'll try to make time for some of the boys in Bristol. He'll catch

  247. up with their have meal with them, buy them meal, and just do

  248. fellowship and discipleship with them. And recently when they took a photograph, I

  249. could see all of them very honoring to the calling his name is young,

  250. honoring to a sim and they say that young, come, we want to

  251. take picture with you. Without you, we don't take this picture right.

  252. You know, when you're when you're squeezed for time, time is your greatest

  253. commodity, the most expensive comedy you have. And every three time that you

  254. have are you just want to isolate yourself? I just want to recuperate,

  255. refresh, rejuinge it or the reor there right, recharge everything. But he

  256. would take time to meet with the boys. Though I thought to myself,

  257. what such a pastor's heart, such a pass side. If it was me,

  258. I say, I was asking myself, if it was you, what

  259. would I do? I would just say, watch the DVD, watch a

  260. video, or speak to other leaders. I got no time for such a

  261. pass is free time? Free time. God meet with people and say that,

  262. hey, I know I'm tired of coming to my house and and have

  263. and I heard it's like, well, just come over to my house and

  264. we cook then together. And I thought to myself that this is the person,

  265. friends, this is the person that understood that it's not about accumulation.

  266. But this was understood that my job doesn't define my worship in a sense of

  267. like it should have robbed me of my worship. But yeah, I show

  268. use the remainia of my time to serve the Lord. So let me just

  269. give you a someone and I worse thirty five. Make me walk in the

  270. path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Make me walk in

  271. the path of your commandments. I delight in it. One of the things

  272. that you will find is this that the word of the Lord, friends,

  273. is not for us is to memorize, but it's for us as well to

  274. apply. It's easy to sing songs, harder to apply God's worth. It's

  275. easy to things are harder to apply God's worth. And God wants earth to

  276. apply because break two comes for application. Brig two doesn't come in memory.

  277. It big two comes for application. Friends, how much you believe, how

  278. much you apply, you will get a break to all of us here a

  279. wired in a particular manner. But to have a break, true friend is

  280. to renew our mind. That's why your show chapter one, it is that

  281. meditate this book day and night, and you will find good success. But

  282. the meditation must be translated into action. That miss our hearts freends and the

  283. day must change. I say that God has never asked our talent, always

  284. ask for our hearts, but many Christians offer our talents only God, I'm

  285. talented, Here you go go. My talent, our hearts is so far

  286. away. One of the persons I met at Cam asked me a question.

  287. You know, sayda, should I go back to Malaysia to work? I

  288. say, why, I really miss my parents. I really miss my parents.

  289. As I heard you share about your journey with your mom, I told

  290. my parents I want to go back that I look at her. I just

  291. say, sister, I say you decided to work here a ready number one.

  292. You have to carry on. But more importantly, I say, sister,

  293. you engage to a local guy in a stability desn. I say,

  294. it's a massive decision to relocate back to Malaysia. I say, your fiance,

  295. we'll find it very heart I say, why don't you prayer? Ask

  296. God for wisdom because I know. I say, what is it the picture

  297. that you want? Go back to your parents, stay with your parents,

  298. you and your future husband, go stay together your parents? What is it

  299. that you want? I say, In your time with your parents, are

  300. you honoring or not? It's very easy to say, I honor my parents.

  301. I say, in your time, so this thing, but my times

  302. to her. In your time with your parents, in the meal time of

  303. your parents, are you looking at your phone? Are you engaging in conversation

  304. because the desire to go back? Oh? I missed my parents, so

  305. I want to go back right. So I'm taking for worse thirty five worst?

  306. The five way is that make me bout your path? I delight in

  307. it. I say, when you honor your parents, honor by being fully

  308. present, that makes you engage your conversation Because a lot of times I want

  309. to show up I won't be there, but your heart is not really in

  310. there. Many times we want to work in God's commandment, but we never

  311. but we don't delighten it. When God speaks to us really about the way

  312. we live, do we delighting it? For example, show kindness, show

  313. patience, be generous, or awake up lative? I remember one time I

  314. went out dinner with six other leaders in church. How are we eating?

  315. Then God spoke to me and covered the bill on your own, Say God,

  316. all of us here, you know, I'm sure other people take a

  317. bit of no no when you cover it. Bless them right now. I

  318. know some of you a bit okay out there one can, but full time

  319. worker also an exceptional from these kind of things, right, so I want

  320. you to cover the only tangle bus I will provide for you. I'm like,

  321. God, did you know full time full time always an exception? Imma?

  322. I know this is a general jet that the general sai, Yes,

  323. you'll be a blessing, but full time worker. So I actually awaited that.

  324. I really wanted those say you know, it's just cut the handle and

  325. the butle left the table so I would pick up the b one I wanted

  326. to to live the bill on the table, so I would just say,

  327. let me pay first. There we all divite a share because spoke so clearly

  328. to me. I one you you trust the work right. Those who fresh

  329. others, they themselves will be refreshed. We all like to be refreshed by

  330. other people, but don't like to refresh other people. Come and let me

  331. share. We all like to be refreshed, but we're find it hard to

  332. refresh other people. Now, some of you, I know, very generous,

  333. prais a lot, but I'm speaking to people like myself, so they're

  334. finding something very hard as we those type months. And God said you have

  335. I say, God, I don't have you have? I say, God,

  336. there, then what is it in your back count? God? You

  337. don't undsemp them? Be? Is it? Now? I know it's not

  338. much, But this is my constant struggle because when you talk about the lighting

  339. in God's way, God will always challenge us things that God I don't understand.

  340. Why must it be me? Why must it be me? Why must

  341. it be me? Lord? So remember ticking up the bill, I pay

  342. for it quietly, I just say set it. I just felt the very

  343. moment, friends, there was a break trough in my heart. Fifty ring

  344. it easy, hungary, easy for six people all of a sudden, that

  345. you didn't tell them that once it's from you and stuff that just keep just

  346. paid the bill and that's it. Just move on the next agenda. I

  347. realized what importantly I find that when God speaks to our hearts, you don't

  348. like you. Isn't it true? That's why the Bible used the word I

  349. deli in it because it's always against our flesh. It's always against how we

  350. think, how we behave word incline my heart to your testimony and not to

  351. convesteousness. Your heart is always going to be presented with two options. One

  352. it's God's word, got testimony, got brig sho. The one is the

  353. world's way how people are getting rich. One of the one of the students

  354. I was already a graduate I was talking to. I felt intimidated because I

  355. said, where you graduate from Cambridge? Okay, I want to I want

  356. to ask, have you heard a more national So anyway I graduate from Cambridge?

  357. I'm like, oh no, like, oh God, all these intellectually,

  358. but anyway, no, I I truly believe. I truly believe my

  359. own strength every time I made mistake everything. I very hard myself, had

  360. to try, ask God hard, to trust God. And every time I

  361. made mistake, I'm always hard on myself. Tell myself to improve, tell

  362. myself get better and live myself. So there's no got in the picture by

  363. the christioner. So look at him. I said, whether you've got to

  364. allow God to come in because there's something your wisdom cannot apply on. You're

  365. good in business, but you're not good in health. I say now that

  366. my next ques, I said, you got good friend, not God?

  367. Say have you have? You? Do you argue your good friend? Not?

  368. Many times? Let me guess where if she made a mistake, you

  369. try, you tell her to get better? Right? Better you she makes

  370. a mistake, you tell to improve right? Rather she made me say,

  371. you tell that you have to upgrade her software to vision two point zero?

  372. Right? See yeah? I said, how how good did they? How?

  373. What a composition you have? How good your what was a composition?

  374. Out there? Always in argument? So of course you tell how to improve

  375. our she you would? I say, in life, you cannot control everything.

  376. I say, next time you marry your girlfriend, you have kids,

  377. what pell are you going to give your kids to obey you. What pell

  378. are you going to give your kids to obey you? Well, how much

  379. money I'm going to give your kids to listen to you? I said,

  380. there's no such thing as giving money for your children to obey you, or

  381. given giving them the latest toys. No, as a parent, you can

  382. pray. You have the must have faith in God to apply pray for your

  383. kids. I spoke to a mom early this morning and she was just telling

  384. my elder I was praying for my child for this right deployment. She's working

  385. in the government, right deployment in the government sector. I was praying and

  386. praying and praying, and my son got it and then was encouraging her.

  387. Do you know my mom's pray God listens. I've heard many testimony moms pray

  388. well test me I heard. I still remember now. There was a there

  389. was a very famous picture say when he was young, he skips school,

  390. went to cinema, skip school when cinema thought parls will know until halfway through

  391. the show, the door opened at the back, hurts his mother's voice at

  392. the back. There are you in the cinema. If you are, I

  393. want you to come out right now. This is a mom he came out.

  394. He asked about, how do you know who told you God? I

  395. was praying, God, give me a picture that you are in the cinema,

  396. and that's why I came. I remember that stories very well because I

  397. know when a praying mom praise God listens. See, it's either we believe

  398. that God listens to our prayer or not. Friends, That's why the Bible

  399. says that make me work in your paper with your commandments. I delight in

  400. it. In climb my heart to your testimony, and not to coach.

  401. Our heart is very easily get sway, get the word is getting distracted and

  402. use what seduced to the other side, because it's very subtle. Of friends,

  403. we always like nice things we do. That's why in buff you always

  404. go after the nice stuff on. I have never seen anybody gow rice,

  405. very very rare. But come on, you understand what I'm playing, even

  406. very rare right right now. I have not seen every even mixure before,

  407. not have you even Max sure. I've not seen mintion, my friends.

  408. I've been them mixed a few times, really a few times. Really.

  409. I have not seen power up veshetable. I have not seen power love vegetable

  410. even though it's good, but he is always green after value. Again,

  411. I'm trying to say nothing wrong with nice stuff, but see how sattle it

  412. is. Sometimes then we get side tracked every this I'm going to close you.

  413. Life is not found with the bondance of things. Friends, Life is

  414. not found the bundance of things. Many times in our journey we think abundance

  415. of things equals to being alive. That's how the worst is. The more

  416. you accumulate, the more alive you are. The more you accumulate, the

  417. more alive you are. The world plays value or the things together, but

  418. the Bible reminds us that our so it's more valuable than the things we gethered

  419. Matthew Chapter six was twenty six. For what profit is it to a man

  420. if he gives the whole world but loses his own soul? Yes, you

  421. may have everything, but if your soul is not there, if he loses

  422. your identity in God, what will a man giving exchange for his own soul?

  423. God? This more, he wants to heal people's hearts because we are

  424. in a race. Sometimes you are the word is that so challenged, so

  425. tempted? So the word is that even as a church sometimes we could be

  426. as a church, we could be tempted to emulate, to copy what other

  427. people are doing. Every church has a blueprint, has a plan. I

  428. was talking to one person for XPGA. She was just telling me out,

  429. I just wanted you to know that, hearing so many test waits about the

  430. church, I'm so proud of the church because I came to this church when

  431. I was aged fifteen, came to know this is fifteen about the very my

  432. very first copy of the White two magazine, and in the magazine I felt

  433. so encarbaged. Words is that she used us. I felt so encouraged,

  434. on fire and revive in my spirit. I want to do something for God.

  435. And right now, being here for now, I think she's now church

  436. for almost fifteen years already, I see all those things that we're describing a

  437. magazine back then now coming to pass. Back then, when at first open

  438. the magazine and sub articles, I thought that this is can never happen on,

  439. can never happen on. I used to mock it, I used to

  440. laugh at it, But now I really believe that it's coming to pass.

  441. And she was just shoving all that and she's just said this to me and

  442. say, elder, if there's any way you want me to help for the

  443. magazine. Let me know, really, friends, what profits of man begins

  444. the whole world but losers is so we are not called to build the biggest

  445. church. You're not. It's just called to build a faithful church, a

  446. fitful church, faithful to the plan that God has given us, fitfuld to

  447. the person that God wants us to reach, faithfood, to do what God's

  448. want us to do. Yes, we're we're not going to plan in every

  449. big cities where God asks the plan, you'll plan then, you and I

  450. today, friends, we are called to be faithful, not successful. In

  451. the faithfulness. You will find success, friends, but doesn't mean you're successful.

  452. You'll be faithful. That's why Jesus say that he must increase an I

  453. decrease. John Chapter three, verse the tea. Do you know that the

  454. rich man decided that I will build the barn? Everything everything is all about

  455. me? And God said tonight your life will be acquiet from you. Friends.

  456. Is not a warning, but it's really a reminder for all of us

  457. here today. Your life is determined by the Lord. It's not how much

  458. we can get off from this world, but really of the day. We

  459. are all verys here stewards. I don't encourage you because as I look at

  460. paved pass Cat's life in London to give up. She gave up a career

  461. here to relocate the follow her husband to do missions. I'll be uk.

  462. Yes, a lot of people say, A lot of people don't said they

  463. thought you Oka very fun, very nice. It is fun and it's nice,

  464. nice location, everything's nice. Their heart is located at the place called

  465. Camden. Very nice place, the heart of punk rock, birthplace of doctor

  466. Martin's shoes. Very nice place. But yet in the midst of every day

  467. out there, they don't What they don't see is that many nights, many

  468. days, we would labor almost in vain. There's once one of the stories

  469. they share with me was there was a student they help out, they carry

  470. the staff, clean up the apartment, help her to set her in everything,

  471. only to turn back and just say I don't believe in you. Now.

  472. They didn't do all that to win the person. At least I thank

  473. you would be something suffice. But yet to the discouragement, Yet to the

  474. asked positive a question, have you ever thought about giving Amanah away from family?

  475. Man have you ever thought about giving Amanah? Seldom? Many times.

  476. In fact, a couple of years ago, I think last year, a

  477. couple of years ago, there was there was a very tough moment for himself

  478. and Cat. I mean you can say at that time we just felt through

  479. the towers enough of this church planting already when they come back, being family,

  480. safe environment. But we knew that God has not called back yet.

  481. I'm sharing this with you, my son, a conversation, because I wanted

  482. us here to know. Sometimes in our journey we are pursuing things accumulating,

  483. but God is always after our hearts. It's also so much about being in

  484. London and being qualit, but really wherever we are, God wants to work

  485. in our hearts. God didn't wasn't against inheritance. He was against a spirit

  486. in one thing, the extra in our worship, in our service to the

  487. lot of friends. Many times our challenge is this that God, I still

  488. serve you. Of course I've never just wanted your service. I always want

  489. your I always want your heart. Is there something once I spoken, will

  490. you change? An? Oh, you don't understand we have for me to

  491. change. God has never asked for excuses. He always ask us I was

  492. surrendered. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on

  493. our church, please visit as Church do RG. We are also active on

  494. Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that this week is going to be a good

  495. week ahead for you. God bless
