  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I've titled this message the End Times, so

  3. more bid right Anyway, I put up this slide because normally this comes at

  4. the end of every show, right, but this time we are starting with

  5. this because I'll give some context. It's also important to understand what the end

  6. is like, because there will be an end to everything, inclusive of movies,

  7. et cetera, but not The Book of Daniel is a very rich resource

  8. of prophecies, right, as we've studied in the in the weeks. So

  9. for those who of you who may not necesari know Daniel, you probably know

  10. that the famous stories the one in the Lions, then the prophecies that sorry,

  11. the interpretation of the dreams Daniel and his friends, the three Amigos,

  12. additional amigos that were in the in the in the Fiery Furnace, and then

  13. they came out alive, et cetera. So those stories are very common,

  14. and that covers pretty much Daniel chapter one to six, and that's more during

  15. Then's time, it's more historical. But beyond six, seven to twelve,

  16. Chapter seven to twelve, it's the future, at least for Daniel, Okay,

  17. So it's more prophesying to the future in general. They talk about tribulations

  18. and times, antichrists. Oh, not a family Sunday kind of message.

  19. But you know, it's still important because these are timelines that have not even

  20. some of them have not even happened in our lifetime. So it's still in

  21. the near future. But this future can be tomorrow, can be next week,

  22. can be a few years down the road, who knows, Okay,

  23. But needless to say, it's important to understand the It will be fulfilled,

  24. That's what I'm trying to say. It will be fulfilled now. People are

  25. naturally drawn to knowing what's going to happen tomorrow in general. That's why we

  26. have things like tarot card readers, fortune tellers, uh, those that can

  27. project based on hysterical data, what's gonna happen, maybe in the stock market,

  28. et cetera, et cetera. So there's always this thing called the foresight,

  29. which is the ones before insight, which is what's happening now, and

  30. then foresight, which is what's happening in the future. So think of this

  31. even as the stories are unfolding, for Daniel, it is projecting the future,

  32. the foresight that is not happened to him during his time yet. So

  33. I put up a slide after this. I think most of us are keen

  34. to know what the future holds, and this is normal, right. People

  35. want to know what's happening tomorrow, whether it's gonna rain or not, for

  36. example, whether it's gonna snow. Hopefully doesn't still in Malaysia, but you

  37. get the idea. So the conclusion of this Book of Daniel, like I

  38. said eleven and twelve, normally people do not cover it because it's pretty heavy

  39. stuff. I'm not gonna cover in details, just touching the surface. But

  40. it's a prophetic implication of what is going to happen to our world as we

  41. know it in the future that's not come to do, doesn't happened yet.

  42. But we have an advantage to an extent because as Christians we have the Bible.

  43. We can refer to it and have some insights. And I'm going to

  44. attempt to go through a little bit of it. But imagine this, the

  45. others or people outside this community probably do not have this tool. I mean

  46. Christians in general, so they see the future as very different Okay, So

  47. the Bible gives you an edge to an extent, it provides believers an opportunity

  48. or sometimes called an advantage, to see what lies a hit. Okay,

  49. although we do not know the exact time and moment, but it gives you

  50. a glimpse of what the future holds through the lens of the Bible. Every

  51. Okay, so far. Okay, so I know I've covered chapter one to

  52. ten methodically. By eleven and twelve, like I said, I'm gonna squash

  53. your together. I'm not gonna cover everything because it's impossible. But if you

  54. remember from chapter ten, there's a there's an angel that came that that sort

  55. of toll uh was delayed and then came through and finally met Daniel because there's

  56. some spiritual warfare that's happening that sort of delayed him. By review revealed some

  57. future events for Daniel, and this is a continuation of it. Okay,

  58. so let's read the Bible first. I'll start off by chapter eleven, just

  59. a few verses, and I'll jump to chapter twelve after that straight after.

  60. So if you have your Bible so you can turn to Daniel chapter eleven,

  61. verses thirty six Today seven. Okay, it says here, then then the

  62. king. Okay, I've put in uh in rid aka Antichrist, because actually

  63. this king that they're referring to is a metaphor for Antichrist. Okay, I

  64. know some people don't have to hear that, but this is actually the Antichrist.

  65. Okay, shall do according to his own will. He shall realt and

  66. magnify himself above every God, and shall speak blasphemous sorry, blasphemies against the

  67. gods of God as a god of God. Sorry, and shall prosper till

  68. the wrath has been accomplished, for what has been determined shall be done.

  69. He shall regard neither the God of his father's nor the desire of women,

  70. nor regard any god, for he shall exalt himself above all. So again,

  71. just a sneak review as we begin. This is a metaphoric representation of

  72. the Antichrist, the king over here and the ruler here. This is described

  73. as wanting to exalt himself, so basically, he's seeking to be worshiped.

  74. Since the next time, okay, and we're going to jump straight to twelve,

  75. Chapter twelve, verse one, making sure you have me dead yep,

  76. thank you, so this one talks about the prophecy of the end time.

  77. Okay, I'll read from twelve to one. At that time, Michael shall

  78. stand the great Prince who stands watch over the sons of your people. And

  79. there shall be a time of trouble. Okay, notice this a time of

  80. trouble, something to do with time, such as never win, sorry,

  81. never war, since there was a nation even to that time. And at

  82. that time your people shall be delivered everyone who is found written in the book

  83. worse two, and many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth

  84. shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.

  85. Talks about the two outcomes at the end. Okay, those who those who

  86. are wise, shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who

  87. turn many to the righteousness like the stars forever and ever. But you,

  88. Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the

  89. end again another reference to time. Many shall run to and fro and and

  90. the knowledge shall increase. So let me just go back one verse to verse

  91. one. There shall be a time of trouble. Sometimes they use the They

  92. replace the word trouble with tribulation. Okay. So tribulation, as you know,

  93. talks about those things that in the revelation and what's to do, what

  94. was to happen at the very end before everything else is wiped out. Okay.

  95. So I'll jump straight ahead to chapter twelve thirteen and I'll stop there.

  96. Okay. But you, this is referring to Daniel, go your way till

  97. the end, for you shall rest will arise to your inheritance at the end

  98. of the days. Okay. So, as we conclude the Book of Daniel

  99. in general, we want to focus obviously on the times, and not just

  100. any time, but more specifically the times. Okay, And this is where

  101. it is fully important they understand that there's a timing involved in everything that we're

  102. talking about. Before I carry on any further, let me pray, okay,

  103. otherwise it's not real church service. Let's pray. Let's pause it and

  104. pray, Father God. We want to thank you Lord. As we explore

  105. and uncover Father the future or the future host Lord, let us you know,

  106. delf into delth into this book. Lord, about you know what the

  107. tribulation is about. What are the forces of darkness is about in the future,

  108. What are the challenges and tribulations that are in store. And but Father,

  109. I pray that you also help remind us, Lord, that you also

  110. give us comfort Lord as those as your ultimate plan Father is to save those

  111. who chooses you. Lord, there is a redemption plan, there is a

  112. way out of it. And I pray that you strengthen us as we await

  113. your return. In Jesus name, we pray Amen Amen. Okay, Now,

  114. next slide. I've got this thing called You probably heard this expression.

  115. Timing is everything. Right, whether it is in music, you have to

  116. keep time. Whether it is to catch a flight, you need to keep

  117. time. Even a joke, that's important to have the correct timing otherwise your

  118. backfire. Right, So timing is everything. Those that do racket spots,

  119. I know a bunch of them play badminton and all that timing is so crucial.

  120. Like my wife will tell you, she cannot coordinate the hands so well.

  121. So every time missed the whatever, okay, whether it's the kicking or

  122. whatever, okay. So it is important. Even if you wanted to say

  123. invest into I don't know, property, stocks, crypto, et cetera,

  124. timing is so important. Generally speaking, you're on a bi lo and are

  125. high, right, So we all understand this. It involves a certain level

  126. of perfect timing so that you can well get the most out of it.

  127. Okay. So it's crucial in many aspects of life. Even if you want

  128. to time a long travel, you want to go to the toilet and the

  129. correct God given time so that you maximize that journey. Okay. So it's

  130. crucial expert life. And this is exactly what it is. Even in the

  131. Book of Daniel in the last two chapters they're talking about timing because timing is

  132. actually very crucial, okay, or what and when things are to happen.

  133. This is the center stage of the last two chapters over here. So of

  134. course, more specifically, you're talking about the end times, okay. And

  135. I'm going to divide this into three phrases. According to chapter twelve, if

  136. you go back to verse one, Mantion can go back to verse one.

  137. Verse one talks about a trouble, time of trouble. Okay, I've highlighted

  138. that, yep, a time of trouble. Okay, that's verse one.

  139. The second one that's highlighted is a time of deliverance okay, also in verse

  140. one, and the third one is the time of the end that's found in

  141. verse four. Okay, So these three phrases represents key elements that you know

  142. that Den's future is all about, and also our future because some of these

  143. have not come to pass, because it's yet to come. Everbreak is so

  144. far a we're talking too fast? What times? Well? And got that

  145. I'm talking fast because of caffeine. Okay. By the way, I'm a

  146. bit high on adrenaline right now. Okay. Anyway, So first light a

  147. time of trouble okay, And this one here, Darill points out that the

  148. Earth will experience a time of trouble or tribulation, as I mentioned earlier.

  149. Okay, so he declares this, there shall be a time of trouble such

  150. as never was since there was a nation even to that time. Now,

  151. what does this actually mean. It simply means that they will experience a time

  152. of trouble that nobody has ever seen before in simplicity English love. Okay.

  153. It means whatever you see out there in the world that's happening in right now

  154. that you think is, how can that happen? How did COVID happen?

  155. Why did it happen the way happened? How can the wars that we see

  156. today happen. We're not even there, okay, because it's not the worst

  157. of it yet. Because they're saying here there are things that are very unique,

  158. unrepeatable events. As I mentioned to you earlier in plain English, it

  159. hasn't come before, so it's something that we will not ever have experience with

  160. to an extent. Okay, So all the world wars, et cetera,

  161. there's nothing compared to the tribulation that's about to come. And it also says

  162. here there is a strong severity and it will happen. Okay. So why

  163. is it important to highlight this is because some people look at end times it's

  164. not gonna happen in my lifetime kind of a perspective. It doesn't affect me.

  165. And this is something that we need to sort of address because it will

  166. happen. It's just a matter of when. So we need to to as

  167. an extent, understand that this glimpse given to Daniel also applies to us because

  168. it can happen to us. Okay. Now, the same thing is also

  169. said in Matthew twenty four. Okay, Matthew twenty four, Verses twenty one

  170. to twenty two, I think I have it up. I'll read the scripture,

  171. for then there will be great tribulation such as has not been since the

  172. beginning of the world until this time. This time made say the end time.

  173. So from the inception of the world until the time of tribulation, it

  174. hasn't happened yet. So, like I said, we have no clue what

  175. it books like. Well, some some hints, but nobody experienced it,

  176. nor ever shall be verse training too, and unless those days were shortened,

  177. no flesh would be safe. But for this elect's sake, those days will

  178. be shortened. And again I mentioned earlier, we as Christians has a bit

  179. of an edge because we sort of have something to read to tell us what

  180. it's like. Okay, okay, so far, Okay, I'm gonna go

  181. a bit more detailed. Okay, if you're interested, could read Revelations.

  182. It's a fun book to read, although you'll be confused. I'm also confused

  183. a hundred times I've read it. But all the things about tribulation happens in

  184. Revelations six all day to eighteen, so there's a fair bit of chapters in

  185. there that covers tribulation alone. And again we'll not be able to cover all

  186. this, But the Book of Daniel over here, in the last two chapters

  187. covers a little bit of the events as it unfolds. Okay, So there'll

  188. be seven years of tribulation as I mentioned detailed in chapter six and eighteen of

  189. the of Revelation itself, and involves a lot of God's wrath being poured out.

  190. And because why the world has rejected God, and therefore even this book

  191. here touches a little bit of it. Okay, I'm going to dive straight

  192. into Revelation eight a little bit just to give you a little bit of what

  193. that glimpse is like. So let's just jump to Revelation eight six to thirteen.

  194. Ever so far yep, Okay, Now, so Revelation eight he has

  195. reads. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

  196. Okay, first trumpet okay, Vegetatian struck Okay. Then the first angel

  197. sounded, and the hall and the fire followed, mingled with blood, and

  198. they were thrown to the earth, and the third of the trees were burnt

  199. up, and all green grass was burnt up. The second trumpet the sea

  200. struck. Then the second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning

  201. with fire, was thrown into the sea, and the third of the sea

  202. became blood. And the third of the living creatures of the sea died,

  203. and a third of the ships were destroyed, a lot of devastation. Okay,

  204. in case you do not realize the third trumpet, the waters were struck.

  205. Then the third angel sounded the trumpet that is, and a great star

  206. fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third

  207. of the river. It means all the rivers around a third of it is

  208. all, uh, you know, burning in the sense on the springs of

  209. water verse eleven. The name of the star wars is wormwood. A third

  210. of the waters became wormwood. And the many men had died from the water

  211. because it was made bitter, so all the water is not drinkable. As

  212. over the next time, Okay, the last trumpet, the fourth trumpet.

  213. Here the heavens struck. Then the fourth angel sounded, and the third of

  214. the sun was struck, a third of the of the moon, and the

  215. third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A

  216. third of the day did not shine, And likewise the night and I looked,

  217. and I heard an angel flying through the midst of the heaven saying with

  218. a loud voice, whoa, whoa, whoa to the inhabitants of the earth.

  219. Because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are

  220. about to sound, they haven't sound the last trumpet yet, by the way.

  221. So yeah, a lot of devastation in case you do not realize that

  222. has happened, just in those few verses over there, and this just Chap

  223. a portion of chapter eight. You read you six and beyond that, and

  224. even Daniel the last few books. There's a lot more in there. Okay,

  225. So this is a time, like I said, nobody's experienced this.

  226. There's a lot of famine. There's a lot of I guess collapse, economic

  227. collapse, things, institutions are breaking down, falling apart. A lot of

  228. natural disasters, things that we have not seen happen. Almost seems unnatural to

  229. happen in the natural sense, if that makes any sense, like earthquakes,

  230. strange volcanic activities, even in places that do not have volcanic activities, meteor

  231. showers, sky falling down kind of a thing. The day is becoming dark.

  232. I don't know. The sun is falling down kind of a thing.

  233. There are plagues, oceans you know, you know, are turning to blood,

  234. et cetera, et cetera. You get the idea, Okay, you

  235. can google it if you have a look at some of these illustrations and all

  236. that, Okay, So you will see that many will perish, many will

  237. not survive living in those conditions in general. Like I say, it sounds

  238. very morbid, but it is what it is right now. The thing about

  239. this is that those that we've read earlier, those that believe, will be

  240. saved to sit the extent this will affect those that do not believe, all

  241. right, So that's one thing to to to think about. But it also

  242. says if you read further, those that trust the Lord in the passage and

  243. have faith in the Lord for that seven years of tribulation, some of them

  244. will also be martyred. You know, it's martyred right, basically put to

  245. death because of their faith and their trust in the Lord. So you can

  246. see that it's all doing in gloom, mkay. That is what was the

  247. first point a time of trouble erork is so far yeah, but why but

  248. why all this some people will ask the question, why God, a loving

  249. God, a God full of grace, will put us through all these things?

  250. Ever wondered why? Yeah? And the reason for all these things is

  251. too you know, perhaps it's a wake up call because just like the pandemic

  252. itself, right, it's almost a glimpse of what it could be. Because

  253. before the pandemic, nobody knew what it was, and everybody was sort of

  254. shook out of their complacency because will as the world knew it, everybody was

  255. very comfortable, everything is okay, and then suddenly it hit us hard,

  256. right, and again, this is more than what we've experienced in twenty twenty,

  257. twenty twenty one. Okay, Now, I believe why this is happening

  258. is because or will be happening. Rather, is because the Lord wants to

  259. have the people guess a bit more urgent about receiving a given opportunity for people

  260. to be saved. In short. Okay, so this is to wake up

  261. those people who do not believe yet, Okay, right, because why when

  262. it's incredibly incredibly difficult, people tend to turn to the Lord, just like

  263. in the pandemic. Using that just as a simple example, people who have

  264. not prayed in a long time started praying. So the tripulation is also something

  265. perhaps like that it triggers or it gets desert people to perhaps become one step

  266. closer to being saved. Okay. So that is probably uh to wake up

  267. the unbelievers, okay, because why when crisis comes people then to turn to

  268. the Lord. Okay. But at a same time, when chrisis comes,

  269. people can also turn away from the Lord because they'll say, why why put

  270. me to to this? And they start of course doing the blame thing.

  271. But we know that there are two outcomes. Some will be saved, some

  272. will be even further away. Okay. So that's that's that particular point over

  273. there, Okay, so have a think about it. Second part here is

  274. also to to to you know, to to talk about the nation of Israel.

  275. Okay. Now, there are many Jews here today in this world that

  276. have not seen Jesus as a messiah anymore. In fact, they've turned away

  277. from that. So they are historically, I guess, I mean, they

  278. come from that lineage, but they are far from you know, recognizing God

  279. as God. Okay, So you'll find that a lot of them do not

  280. believe Jesus as a Messiah, and one of the things of the tribal or

  281. the result of it will be a number of Jews will come back and recognize

  282. Jesus is the Messiah. Okay, if you read through Zachariah twelve, do

  283. I have it up mention, Yeah, I do have it up. So

  284. morning of the pends, so they will actually have a time where they will

  285. actually see Jesus with their peers hands, and they will recognize that this is

  286. actually what they're going to be mourning for. So in fact, they'll come

  287. back. And you see Zachari thirteen nine over there, I will bring one

  288. third through the fire, will refine them as silver, as silver is refined,

  289. and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name.

  290. I mean to say, they'll come back, because why God still see

  291. these as his people. Okay, So they will declare, or third of

  292. them at least will declare the Lord is my God. So during the tribulation,

  293. many Jews will come back to the Lord. Okay. So that's the

  294. second point. It is to bring back Israel too, gets back to his

  295. roots, is essentially okay. Now, the last point here before I move

  296. on, is that there's an ultimate deadline here, as I mentioned, timing

  297. is everything. This is also the deadline where the Book of Life, the

  298. entries are all finalized to the next ten. Okay, So who accepts God

  299. and who rejects God is also finalized during the tribulation time. And then again

  300. why we say why so severe, but it is what it is, because

  301. otherwise if you do not say a deadline, ass Malasians, we always know

  302. if there's no deadline, we will not finish the work or we will not

  303. commit. Everybody well defensit this for a long time, right, So that's

  304. why a deadline has to happen. And God is as gracious as it is,

  305. he also has a timeline to say, Okay, enough is enough.

  306. You know, you need to decide right now. And this is the point

  307. where all these catastrophic events and wrath and all that is to bring people to

  308. to to to choose essentially. Okay. So that is that last point about

  309. finalizing the list, okay. And this is uh where people who accept or

  310. reject will get established in that because why the Lord has waited long enough.

  311. I'm quite sure by then is long enough. And again the reason why we

  312. need to understand this is because some people live their lives thinking that there's tomorrow.

  313. Some people even think, oh, I will not accept Christ until my

  314. my my dying bit because I step tomorrow. Right, But how can we

  315. be sure that this is I mean not so more bid that end times is

  316. tomorrow? But how can you be sure even your last dying breakfast tomorrow or

  317. couldn't be? Could it could be tomorrow? Essentially, But we always live

  318. with this borrowed time not so urgent kind of a thing, whether it is

  319. for our love ones even or I don't need to reach him first because he's

  320. only twenty. He's probably got average life for another fifty years to go or

  321. whatever, you know. So so this is something that I think you need

  322. to understand that this also the ultimate dadline. So b one, there is

  323. a deadline. There is a time limit. It maybe next week, it

  324. maybe next year, but understand that there is a deadline. Okay, all

  325. right now, I'm going to have a short detour about Antichrist for a while

  326. because I have to talk about it, because this is obviously talk about Antichrist.

  327. We read in Versus Daniel eleven earlier thirty sixty seven, that's the first

  328. verse that started with this talks about the origins, right, because even in

  329. there the Antichrist will come in uh Jewish form in the sense the linage is

  330. Jewish, but he will not acknowledge his thist is why you say that I

  331. will not elage my father's. Okay, so he will. He'll probably come

  332. in in terms of culturally jew but will not recognize the Lord. He'll be

  333. probably downright in eightes as well. Okay, but he's going to be a

  334. charismatic leader. That's already established. You read some books about it, they'll

  335. tell you he's going to be very charismatic. People will love him. Uh,

  336. he will. He will in the seveniest tribulation. He'll probably slowly rise

  337. up to about the mid point three or four years and then come into power,

  338. and then he would be taken down eventually by bye bye by Jesus in

  339. his second coming, and then he'll be cast down to the fiery lake of

  340. fire. Okay. So those are the shot snapshot of what Antichrist is all

  341. about. But amidst all this, Daniel sees a time of deliverance, which

  342. is the next portion they want to talk about, because this time of deliverance

  343. is some times also known as the rapture knows the raptures, although in the

  344. Bible, no, it doesn't really describe the rapture per se as in like

  345. what it is all about. But this is where people will suddenly ascend and

  346. bypass all this uh tribulation. Some will be some some Christians believe that the

  347. tribulation has to be undergone first and then you rapture. Some people believe that

  348. it happens before the tribulation. The rapture that is, okay, but I'll

  349. cover that in a little bit. Uh. But yeah, it talks about

  350. the time of deliverance of God's people, Okay. And like I said earlier,

  351. the term rapture itself is not found the Bible. It's just the principle

  352. of it, okay, which you can read about it as well. This

  353. is the some of you were called the body snatching event where suddenly the fellow

  354. were just the clothes will be just on the floor. Questions that we're like

  355. you a wife on the plane where the Christian pilot got raptured with my plane

  356. crash, that kind of thing. You know, nobody knows, but hopefully

  357. you are also raptured at the same time the person or you know, there's

  358. still that timeline before autopilot or a few runs out. Just make sure you

  359. do your thing and accept Christ and then you'll be fine. But anyway,

  360. that's just a joke. By the way, timing may not be so so

  361. good, but you get the idea. Let's rapture. Now, let's look

  362. at Tessilonians. First Tesilonians for sixteen to eighteen. Am I talking too fast?

  363. And I'm like, okay, okay, I promise you'll end readily.

  364. I'm very half with truity. Okay. Now, first Tessalonians for sixteen to

  365. eighteen, let's says yeah, For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with

  366. a shout with the voice of an arch angel and the trumpet of God,

  367. and the dead in the and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then

  368. we who are life and remain shall be caught up together with them in the

  369. clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be

  370. with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words. So this

  371. is the part that talks about it. I've highlighted some of the key words

  372. over there, and this is the part I think because of the sequencing of

  373. the words, I think rapture will happen first before tribulation, because it says

  374. be comforted with it. Lah. Okay, So although arguably some people think

  375. that it may start and then rapture happens, I don't know, but say

  376. it's take comfort it would it would, it would be happened before. So

  377. I leave you to interpreted, okay, Okay. So so there's an assurance

  378. definitely for the believers before the chaotic events unfold that we just talked about in

  379. the first few versus earlier, that you know, he will come to the

  380. rescue if the preor equisite is if we believe. Now, there's a lot

  381. of other things that people who don't know. They say, this trumpet sound

  382. that we talk about, is it only certain people will hear it, or

  383. is it a loud, blaring kind of sound that everybody here is a dog

  384. whistle kind of a thing where only dogs can hear or Christians can hear.

  385. We don't know, okay, but we just take the assurance that when it

  386. does happen, we will hear it. Okay. That is again, if

  387. you are in that in that category, okay, But if you're left behind,

  388. then what like I said, you better get it right, la,

  389. because there's still a short timeline. Okay. Now, last portion of it,

  390. which is the last thing about the time of the end, which is

  391. in verse four. Okay, this is I'm I'm repeating that verse again,

  392. Daniel twelve, verse four. But you, Daniel, shut up the words

  393. and seal the book until the time of d So this is the last point

  394. in chapter twelve that Daniel sees that is the end of the time. Okay.

  395. And there are only two outcomes in this particular passage here. You can

  396. either be in that camp where you spend eternity in heaven, or you go

  397. to the opposite direction, okay. Because some will have everlasting life because they've

  398. chosen to put their faith in Jesus, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

  399. Okay. And this is also stated in Mattew twenty five. Okay.

  400. So when Jesus, what just will do here will separate the believers on non

  401. believers. In short, and if you read through Matthew chapter twenty five,

  402. this is the final judgment. By the way, final judgment is covered in

  403. Mattew twenty five and also Revelation twenty. I put the verses side by side.

  404. I'm so Sorry, of the typo is meant to be uh yep,

  405. sorry, it is right, It is the right I think the wrong verse

  406. up there, okay, but anyway you look through the verse, I think

  407. I just put the wrong verse in there. But let's mention twenty five verst

  408. the Son of Men will judge the nations. When the Son of Men comes

  409. in glory and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on

  410. the throne of his glory. All the nations will be gathered before him,

  411. and he will separate them from one another. This is the separation of the

  412. sheet and the goats. Hopefully we are in the whitish category and not the

  413. darkish one. Okay. Of course the revelation here you read the end there,

  414. and the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which

  415. were written in the books. Okay, so the correct verse for the Revelations

  416. twenty eleven to twelve. Sorry, I just did a type o there,

  417. So if you're correct, that is Revelations twenty eleven to twelve. Those are

  418. the two verses over there. Okay. So Daniel's depiction of chapter twelve aligns

  419. with these two verses over there, emphasizing the importance of having one's name or

  420. your name or your friend's name on that book. Otherwise there's only one other

  421. pathway for it, okay, And this is of course what we call the

  422. Book of Life, which I think most of us know. And God will

  423. open this book on judgment Day. Okay. So recently, I mean when

  424. I was younger, I went for a conference in New Zealand, rechid for

  425. a conference, paid for it. When I went there, my name was

  426. not on the list. Anybody happened before that. You go to some events

  427. and then your list is not there. Then you're like, oh what now?

  428. Kind of a thing. Right, recently we were having a buffet in

  429. the in the in the restaurant hotel, and then we're like, hopefully my

  430. name is that kind of thing. But the question is, sometimes we rock

  431. up to a list not knowing whether the list our name is on it,

  432. right, And that's a scary thought because what will happen if our name is

  433. not on the list. And this is exactly it. Are you one hundred

  434. percent sure or is your friend one hundred percent sure that their name is on

  435. the list in the Book of Life? Because if it's not, then then

  436. what you can't just rebooked. I'm unfortunately for me in the story they actually

  437. sorted it out. They had a name error kind of thing. But can

  438. you negotiate then then answer is probably no, So don't take that risk.

  439. In short, okay, don't take that risk. In short, because the

  440. names that in that represents people that have trusted God, has trusted Christ all

  441. this well, and the assurance is definitive if they are sure, okay,

  442. And the passage also is very clear, this is the only way in There

  443. is no other way in Unlike some other religious beliefs, there are multiple ways

  444. to heaven. Even dogs can go to heaven kind of a thing, all

  445. right, But the Bible that's is only one way. Jesus is the way,

  446. and that's the only way in some sense of so I'm very glad because

  447. it's very straightforward. Sometimes where there's multiple pathways, I mean, maybe Asian

  448. la I prefer just tell me what to do. I don't like to give

  449. me too many options. I just want to be absolutely sure, and it's

  450. clear cut here to be absolutely sure. Just do it this way. Surrender

  451. to Jesus and your name will be recorded and you secure a place in heaven.

  452. I say, surrender mis die to yourself. La right, follow Jesus.

  453. So how to get your name up there? Just follow Jesus? Right.

  454. In Acts four twelve, it says that no other name, sorry,

  455. in any other for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by

  456. which we must be saved. Me to say salvation, he comes true the

  457. Lord, clear cut, okay. John fourteen six, Jesus said to him

  458. him is Thomas right here. I am the Way, the truth and the

  459. life. No one comes to me, to the Father except true me.

  460. Okay. So, like I said, we're thankful that Jesus is the one

  461. way. It's the only way. So what are we to do? Humble

  462. ourselves, get people to humble themselves as well. Do not. And that's

  463. why this whole year we're talking about Heaven rules, right, because it's really

  464. you know, saying that God you rule over even my life. Right.

  465. And if he has his lord all your life, the lordship belongs to him.

  466. You're saved. Since I've forgiven you repent and is mentioned in the Bible,

  467. you know you will be definitely in the Book of life. Okay.

  468. And if you ever doubt this, go do a checkler hard check. That

  469. is to ensure that you are where it is. But if not, there

  470. is still a call, an invitation to repentance. And this time I'm going

  471. to end here because at the end over there in Acts or more versus Slide

  472. x three nineteen says repent therefore be converted, that your sins may be blotted

  473. out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

  474. Okay, So the conversion to get your name in there is really true

  475. him forgiving your sins, dying to yourself as you humble yourself, surrendering to

  476. Him and have your name written there. Again, very mentory for a lot

  477. of Christians. But a lot of people do not understand this. And there's

  478. a lot of weight in this, even in the Book of Revelation and also

  479. the last two chapters of Daniel. So really it is a call to repent

  480. or a call to repentance. And to conclude all this and to drive all

  481. this home, I've just prepared an acronym, a simple acronym of hope.

  482. Hope, okay, And these are the summary summary of the key actions,

  483. so to speak. One is to heed the prophecy, pay attention to prophecy

  484. in the Bibles. Do not take it too lightly and think that it doesn't

  485. involve us or me, et cetera. It is for us and is for

  486. the rest of your family members, your friends, et cetera as well.

  487. You need to understand this arety like if we say earlier, timing is crucial,

  488. right, don't think that it's going to run till forever. Just to

  489. help people have accepted the fact that even all and yes, it's not gonna

  490. be infinite, right, there is a time limit to it. You need

  491. to understand that there is a time that things will end and reflect on our

  492. faith because some people can also lose faith over time. Right. Although yes,

  493. God has given you grace et cetera, but you need to ensure that

  494. there is a genuine trust. There needs to be a relationship with God to

  495. ensure that your name is really there or your friend's name is really there,

  496. et cetera. So in conclusion, please dwell from the prophecies as what is

  497. written in Daniel and also the Book of Revelation and understand it's crucial to heed

  498. the prophecy that is there. Pay attention to teachings of the end times.

  499. Don't think that this only for Bible scholars, it doesn't involve us because it's

  500. too deep, too chiam, too complex. No, it involves us because

  501. they're talking about eternal life here, all right, And of course all represents

  502. outreach evangelism. It's not just for us. You might be safe, but

  503. it's a neighbor saved. Right. We are moving to a year next year

  504. where we talk about what's our team for next year? Haha. So they

  505. all may know, right, So they all may know. So how can

  506. all people know of the good news of the gospel if we just keep it

  507. to ourselves? Right, So outreach and evangelism needs to be taking up another

  508. notch. I know sometimes for a lot of church is not just as but

  509. a lot of which is we are very good in the worship the world and

  510. all these other things. But the evangelism part sometimes is taking a back seat

  511. because or whatever reason are. But it shouldn't. We need to understand that

  512. time is short, time is urgent, so we need to participate more.

  513. Go out, talk to your neighbors, talk to your work leagues, got

  514. a missions, et cetera. There is an urgency of this spreading of this

  515. gospel here because there are lots of people who has not had the opportunity to

  516. hear the gospel. And it's not just true special events of evangelism. P

  517. represents prayer and preparedness. Maintain a life of prayer, be sensitive, be

  518. spiritual ready as well. I think you need to stay connected with the lot

  519. in anticipation that this is to come. We can't look at it as though

  520. it's one hundred years from now. It may not be. So I think

  521. we need to be vigilant and not let our guard down, all right,

  522. And then e of course, it's eternal focus means say, your life has

  523. to be purpose driven. It cannot just be about self preservation or about yourself.

  524. I think a lot of us do this, right. You see next

  525. to your neighbor, you don't know what a neighbors going through because we're so

  526. fixated about what we're going through. It's natural, yes, but I think

  527. we need to be more eternal focus. Understand that we need to live our

  528. lives towards the final judgment, and not just for yourself, but for all

  529. the others as well. Let that perspective guide us in the respect of our

  530. lives. And as the events unfold eventually, and we will unfold eventually at

  531. least we're not caught off God. Okay, so I know, not the

  532. easiest pecials to cover. Go read about it. If I didn't do any

  533. justice, I've just reached through it. But if I were to go like

  534. what I used to do last time, line by line, I think it'll

  535. be here till six pm. Okay, so I get extreme to come up.

  536. Yeah, I'm done ish. Yeah. So, like I said,

  537. not easy to cover, but it's good to round off what we've covered from

  538. chapter one all the way to twelve here today, and we've spent entire year

  539. on this book. There's so much reflection, so much evidences of having rules

  540. in the chapters that you read. But keep your eyes on the finish line.

  541. I think we need to understand that there is a finish line here and

  542. we need to continue to remain focused in our faith. We hope you've been

  543. blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit as
