You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message

will light up your tea. So today the God who sees and we're gonna

look at the life of Hagar Genesis sixteen. It's a very interesting chapter,

and you know there's a whole wonder hold message that you could we could share

on on the life of SARAHI and Abraham before they became Abraham and Sara Rah.

All right. So we're looking at Genesis chapter sixteen, and I'm focusing

on this this maid servant called Hagar. All right. So I'm gonna read

this with you and then break it down a little bit. I just really

want to encourage our as I read this, and I thought, whoa,

this is so good for us and seasons when we're going through different things,

let us remember, you know the God that we serve, who is he?

Amen? Okay? Where you go with me to Genesis chapter sixteen or

reading from verse one. I just thought'd being nice to read the whole thing

and then we can break it down. Here we go verse one. Now

SARAHI, not Sarayah, SARAHI Abram Okay, before he became Abraham. So

Sarah Abram's wife had borne him no children, and she had an Egyptian maid

servant whose name was Hagar. All right, And so Sarah said to Abram,

see, now the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please go

to my maid. Perhaps I shall obtain children by her. And Abram never

said no. He went in. Did you do her? All right?

So Abraham he did, the voice of Sarah said, oh, yes,

some okay, all right. And then SARAHI, Abram's wife, took Aigaha

maid and the Egyptian and gave it to a husband Abram, to become his

wife. This is second wife. Now Abram should never have done it,

because he knew God's promise. So after Abraham and gave it to his wife.

After Abraham had dwell ten years in the land of Canaan, the land

of Canaan, Abram was dwelling what he is now known as Israel, the

little piece of land there it is Canaan. So God had already given the

land to Abraham, which is the father of all Israel, all Israel.

So our friend Abraham, Abram, do do do? Agar went into her

and knock, knock, who's there? She conceived and when she saw that

she had conceived. Her mistress became despised in her eyes, you know,

probably like Nana na. I can't, can't, and you Khan, Khan,

Khan, you know. And then Sarah said to Abram in verse five,

my wrong. I see this is what the wife sometimes do a wife,

so I know. The Sarah said to Abraham, my wrong be upon

you. I gave my maid into your embrace. And when she saw that

she had conceived, I became despised in her eyes. The Lord judge between

you and me for Abram. And Abraham said to Sarah, indeed, this

is your maid. He's in your hands. Due to her as you please.

And when Sarah dealt harshly with her, Hagar fled from a presence.

Verse seven. Now the Angel of the Lord. Look at your verse.

It is a capital l O r D. The Angel of the Lord found

her by a spring of water, could be in little oasis in the wilderness,

by the spring on the way to Sure. Everybody says, sure,

can't remember that word. I will come back to it later. And sure,

he said, Hagar, Sarah's maid, where have you come from?

And where where are you going? She said, I am fleeing from the

presence of my mistress Sarah. And the Angel of the Lord said to her,

of all things, return to your mistress and submit yourself under her hand.

And the Angel of the Lord said to her, I will multiply your

descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude. And the

Angel of the Lord said to her, behold, you are with child.

You shall bear a son, and you shall call his name Ishmael. And

Ishmael means because the Lord has heard your affliction. Running down to verse thirteen.

Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her. You

are the God who sees, For she said, I have also seen Have

I also seen him who sees me? The God who sees is in the

Hebrew el Roy el Roy l is God Roy sees el Roy. And therefore

the well was called Pierre LAHARROI observed it is between Kadesh and Baret. And

so Hega born Abram a son an Abraham named Abram named the sun Ishmael.

All right, all right, the praise God for the reading of his word.

Here we go. We have a story here, drama mingo inning.

All right, So this is the wife Sarah. Now it is in the

Eastern culture, it's not uncommon. It is not common now, but in

the Eastern culture it is not uncommon where the mistress has a helper made.

And then you might wondering why does she have an Egyptian made. Well,

likely when they left Egypt, Abram and Sarah left Egypt, the pharaoh might

have given them, you know, a servant or you know, because God

said, God told the people of Issuel, when you leave Egypt, you

ask your neighbor hand me the money. Here. Can't put your hands up

and hand me the money. So you know, go leave Egypt with with

something. And that's there was God's word to them. And so they all

left with something. And the Egyptians said, take it, take take take

it all, because we are all dying here. The firstborn was dying so

many plagues. Please leave your curse to us. Leave and as they left

it to everything. So maybe the Egyptian maid was given to her, and

so she had she has this maid. So in the Eastern culture it is

not uncommon that the mistress would have a maid, and then when they cannot

have children, they would they would have the helper like saragateler, you know,

have the baby for them. At the point of giving birth the mother.

The mistress would then lie next to the mother as they give birth,

the child would be placed on her like her own. So it is part

of the culture thing. That's why she's like, so they take my wife

and all that, right. So, but the joke was I'm singing here

like poor like was it poor Abrahm? Or like yay, yummy, can

get another girl? Do you do her? And then later Sarah gets upset,

and like a lot of wives when we get upset, you're like my

husband, my husband's a fall. And then Abraham like, oh man,

they cannot deal with these kind of things. They were like, wife,

it is your problem. Just deal with it, La, deal with it,

La, you know, And it was so much things to think about

her. You're mean to deal with your hand, mister, you made your

handmaiden. No, no, no, your hand you're mister, you are

the boss. You're hand a Littlah because men don't want to deal with complications.

It's complicated, So LUGGI, this is on my wife. Are you

you just doing it? La? So there's a whole story there, because

you know that they had a little They had a boy called Ishmael and you

know, Ishmael's a beautiful name. It means the Lord. It's hurt,

my affliction. What a great name. You know you name that child.

It's not a bad name. But until today, because they fail to trust

God. If you look back at chapter twelve, you look back at chapter

fifteen, God had given a promise to Abram, and he could have just

stood his ground and said, no, I'm not taking this wife because God

has a promise. God has a promise just one chapter before. Already God

said I will make you an exceedingly people, Ta da da will bless you.

And he said, yes, amen. It was accounted to him as

righteousness. And yet the next chapter of Frank was like, mom, belam

fire. He takes a girl, all right, Daddy con said to to

do, and then they have this child, and now they have an Ishmael

in our lives. Be careful, friends, don't give birth to Ishmael's.

They were never meant to happen. As if we should never have an Ishmail,

it'll be a problem to you for the rest of your life. It

is so for us until today because of the sons of Ishmael. So real

problem, real problem. But God still comes true. All right, and

yes, he makes a plan for us. So remember when God told you

something, don't go and help God to have some baby love, because suddenly

you get an extra VAP you don't need. And then forever you're stuck with

the Ishmael in your hand instead of a child of promise Isaac. And that's

a problem. So there's a whole other message for another day, all right,

So just hingin dere Okay, we're gonna look at Hagar. And so

you know, Heygar lived with Abram and Sarah. She observed them. They

were people who worship God. Yeah wah, and and she would have seen

how God moved. And then and then this husband and wife was so bad

to her, you know, the Sarah going mistreat her maybe you know's call

her and do this and do that. And then suddenly, you know,

because she had the baby she didn't like. I think she despises me.

I didn't do whatever, and maybe she I don't know if she hit her

or whatever. Last quarter. He was just evil a right, And so

it was so good in something that Heygar decides to run away. What a

bad testimony. If you have a helper in your house, don't be a

bad testimony. Okay, you must be kind to your helper or whoever God

gives us, our staff, our team. We must try our best to

be kind because not good testimony, because God is so good to abram Ah.

Another day for another message. But anyway, Hagar runs away, She

flees, and where does she go? She runs away? Uh, this

is this is Canaan. This is Canaan. Canaan Lan is here. Let's

say Canaan Lan is here, not the book shopper. Canaan Lani is here,

Canaan, land of Canaan. She flees and she goes on the way.

Where does she go to? She's actually heading back to Egypt. So

she's in the wilderness road called Sure all the way back to Egypt. I'm

telling you it's not easy. She could die, she could be eaten by

wild bees. Someone could kidnap her. I don't know. This is this

is desert land. You know how the sand changes when the winds blow.

Today the sign post is you tomorrow it's gone. I don't know how did

she make it to today? Or is this even? You know? It's

got a miracle. And then God meets her there the Angel of the l

r D Capitol the angel of the Lord and the word lord. Here is

the word Donai. All right, the God who sees me is my title.

Okay, all right, I'm going very fast. Now I'm mixing,

I'm leaving all my okay. So the story of that I'm telling you now.

So she found by the Lord, the Lord lawd denotes to us that

it is a Dounai. And it's not just any angel. It's not Gabriel.

It's not Angel Gabriel's not Angel Michael, but the Lord himself, because

the word denotes is Aduni. Aduni is the Lord of lords, and he's

the master and the king. You know this, Our father God came and

spoke to her in the middle of this wilderness on the way to shore.

And uh and he speaks to her. All right. So the whole,

the whole deal is that there was there's God speaking to her. He asked

two questions. So this is the thing God never gives us answers, just

like that. Remember when Adam and Eve sin and he said where are you?

He of course he knows where I is. But Adam had to say,

a naked and I'm wearing some leaves. I go. I don't know,

you know, and and you know it helps us to speak, reflect

answer truthfully. Where are you at? So? Where are you? Where

did you come from? And where are you going? Hey, God only

answers one of the questions. I'm running away. That's it, full stop

for my mistress. She couldnot answer question number two. Likely she had no

idea where she was going. She couldn't reflect on that question. But yet

God answer that question. And she just said I can't and I'm going.

And the Lord then says to her, return to your mistress of all things,

return and suck me someone or suck me yourself under her hand. Oh

like, go back to all right, go back to that woman. How

But that's what the Lord said to her. I think it was God's provision

that he met her in the middle of the wilderness and actually to tell her

to go back, because some commentary says she she lightly would die in the

wilderness because I told you it's wild bees, it's the same and storm,

desert, no fix lies, no police to tell you this is this is

the way to Egypt. No, No, he's just everybody knew as a

wilderness on the way to Sure and sure will lead you to Egypt. So

I don't know, but you know. She then says, she calls the

name of the Lord. You are the God who sees me. This is

an Egyptian woman. She doesn't worship God. She are the God who sees

me. I have seen you. I have seen you, Elroy. I

want to ask today and I want to encourage you. The God who sees

you, it's very much alive. He sees you in all of your needs.

Amen, it's it's it's really amazing that that God actually sees us where

we are. And do you know, did you know? I mean,

maybe you've read this before. She's the only person in the Bible that has

ever given God a name. Every other's was given a place a name,

beth L or this is the place beth L House of God place. But

this is the only woman in the Bible, only person that actually says to

God, you are el Roy, the God who sees me. No other,

no other in the Bible. Is so special. And he was an

Egyptian woman. It took a pre believer to say to God, you see

me, and I see you. I want to encourage us. God sees

you wherever you are at. He's the God who knows your heart. Cry,

and she calls that place as well, the well of the living one

who sees me, and be encouraged that God sees you. He always sees

you. Amen. And when does this happen? Well? She hey,

God was probably caught up with discouragement. I would think, sawing my boss

like I will tell you my story, despondency. There's a slight to that

despair. She was probably the real She was probably directionless all the deeds.

You know, when you start with discouragement, cousins number one, two,

three, p five will come and live with you. Please do not allow

the cousins to make a home in your heart and your life. Chase it

away. The earlier you do, the lesson dds will come. Otherwise they

do, do do you? Okay? So you know what the hell?

Okay? So all the cousins came to stay with Hagar and she was so

I'm sure she was discouraged. Where was she going? Why was my boss

doing this to me? After all you gave me as a wife to your

husband, Oh Parney, And then you know, despair, What am I

gonna do? Despondent? The mags? And now I don't even have direction

where to go? Away? In the world is Egypt. I'm just walking.

I'm walking this way. So there was this whole discouragement. And I

have to say to us when we are in that place of discouragement, we

are on this road of wilderness that leads to towards Egypt. Was this pathway

or this wilderness path called Sure? And she was just running opposite from all

the blessing the goodness there. And you know what the word sure means.

Oh, by the way, do you know what Hagar means. Her name

sounds like a flea, fled, fly away, run away. Hagar sounds

like the word fled to leave, and she fled. And then she's on

this way to Sure because it leads to Egypt. Sure means wall, kay,

thing your hat on a when you are discouraged, when you are down,

despondent, went things had happened, You run away, but you will

hit a wall. So true when we run away from what God has for

us and forget that he's the God who sees. And if she had kept

on, she will hit a wall because it is not It is so difficult

to get back to Egypt. And Egypt is not the land of promise.

Canaan is She was taken with the family there. So I just thought,

Wow, I didn't know the word sure means wall. And and then it

just shows me that many times I hit a wall when I choose not to

go the way God wants me to go guy rather be opposite and and and

she was going opposite direction, and yet the Lord said return my word.

Now I'm not talking about exceptions. Yeah, I'm talking about general rule.

There are some. Sometimes there are exceptions in terms of if someone is being

abused in your marriage and hid and beaten, I listen. I don't think

as you return you need you need separate. You need to separate to get

healed first and then talk later. But I'm just saying, not the exception,

just generally, when we go through things. The thing about discouragement,

it keeps us getting to hit a wall because we don't know where to go,

and we're running away from where we need to be sometimes, and some

people feel like they're walking around and around a wilderness. You're hitting a wall

because the break to was actually to stay and to weather through and wait on

the Lord, and he will make you rise up with wings of an eagle.

And but we're too impatient, we're too. You know, we don't

we think that God hasn't seen us. I encourage us that God sees us

in a situation and instead of fleeing and start hitting the wall and walking around

and around in a wilderness where we don't need to be. It is tough,

but I have to say she was quite smart. She came to a

spring, She came to a place of water. You know, amen,

And I really think Jesus is the water. Jesus is our living water.

If you ever get lost, come back to Jesus. And you know the

well, it's really the church. I know sometimes we get hurt by people

from the Church, the reality. But if you look at people, you

will never overcome. You will hit a wall. But if you look at

Jesus and the beauty, the beauty that Jesus gives, the love that God

gives. We learn from the Lord. We learn to submit to the Lord's

plans. We learn to forgive he God would have had to forgive her mistress.

We learn to release and surrender. And that's why the Lord said,

you return and you submit yourself under her hand. It's a heavy hand now,

but you sometimes need to go through that. You wait, I will

deliver you because he gave her a promise about her child that God hears her

affliction. And if God says that here's your affliction, he will do something

about it. And at the right time, when you are meant to leave

this place, he will open that way, which later Hagar and Ishmael had

to be sent away. It was the right time to do that. God

agreed to do that. But when it's not the right time to move to

flee, you will hit a wall constantly, a wall, and you know

you don't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time because you

choose to. I cannot the hand this one. I am offender. It

is a bad job, and you want to leave. There is always the

right time for it. But the best thing we can hear out of this

conversation that she had is that God says, I see you. I see

you so wherever you are in your faith level. And sometimes we compare and

the worst word in the English language is comparison. Oh I hate it.

My mom used to compare me with others. So wasn't that clever? You

see so and so, doctor can do that, so well you or in

that comparison, And every time you look at it day and others you will

feel like you will never be stuck in a flousy willdn't know well some more

you know. So it's very important to just look at Jesus right that God,

you see me and I see you? Can you see God in that

situation. It's hard, top, it's challenging, its derailing me. But

I gotta look up and I gotta be assured of this and we stay in

there. Amen, because four points here. Know that God sees us.

Know that God hears us. Ishmael, I hear your affliction. Call your

son. That is a reminder that I'm a God that hears your affliction.

Number three, return to his word of promise. God has given many of

us, most of us, a word of promise. It could be a

simple word of promise that all of us share that we will have eternal life.

We all share that. Now you cannot say, how come you got

more eternal life than me? Do no such thing. We all okay,

we all have eternal life together. That is a word of promise. I

don't get whether the Edwards has it. No, you have it. I

don't know. We all have it. We need to return to that word.

The general word of God, the logos word, the written word of

God. And then God will give you a specific word for that time of

need and a word that was built in you. You you grew it.

We sang the song. The winds came, the winds blue. No,

the rain came the winds blue. But eye am founded on the solid rock.

Amen. And that is what holds us, holds us when we feel

like, I know, I'm going to I'm gonna do bangaready because but if

you Bill understand, you will. But you build on the rock, you

won't. So return to his word or promise and number for submit, submission

to the will of God. Yeah, you don't like that. Words a

bad words, Okay, it's not submit to his will? And and and

wait, the waiting, the patience is what we seldom we feel like,

you know, it's too long. But if we take things into our own

hands, likely we will have an ishmael And then we don't know what to

do with the ishmael? Are you so? I want to encourage us in

this this afternoon. That to say that every time and discouragement hits us,

we tend to go backwards. And that and that has happened several times when

when Jesus was hanging on the cross true all the disciples disappeared, and after

that they all went the other side. We were the two disciples walking to

Amaeus, seven miles away from Jerusalem, where the promise was meant to be.

When Peter and the rest were so discouraged that this Jesus didn't what happened

to him? He died, No, it's not a terrible death. What

did they do? They went back to fishing. This is what we do.

We always go backwards what we used to doing. You know, we're

like, I don't even know what's going on. I just go by.

I'm going to my mom's house, you know, thank god, my mom's

house. But you know, you know, going back myselfas don't even have

a mom's house, you know, my dad's how the mom's house don't have

woods. I was like gonna go, you know, and the moms don't

have that. There are people who just don't have a home to go to.

It that difficult. But this time we say the Lord God sees me.

The question is do you see him? Hey, guys saw him in

a desperation. It's not easy to be a maid servant, right to be

mistreat and now told to go back. She had to have seen something about

the god that she never worshiped, but this day she said, Wow,

you are the god that sees me Elroy, and she had to return.

And she returned she did. I don't know whether Abram and Sarah mister noticed

that she was missing. I don't know. Doesn't tell us right, doesn't

show us. But she went back and submitted to her boss. And then

later she had the child. I mean she had the child later on Da

da da, and then later she moved on. So you know, there's

the right time for everything to happen. But to run away, to move

away from your promise is what it is what many of us do. We

returned to the Egypt, we returned to what we know and are so familiar

with. But God is always moving us to the promise, moving us to

to to the next level of faith. Amen. I remember many many years

ago, in when I was still in the marketplace working for corporate. I

came I came out as a graduate, a young graduate, and I went

straight into a public listed company. And it's quite hard when you come out

street. You just finish your studies, you're green like nothing and everything you

study like I don't know, I just passed exam, you know. And

then and then there's the practical has to be so I should have joined well

they say I should have joined a p W C, E Y whatever,

those accounting firms, because then I go into that I'm not accounting, I

mean company H, company secretary. So you have to go into that line

and you change and train and then finally you get your break. Then you

make it into the public listed company, you know. But this way I

went the other way, straight away from the graduate fall inside the public listed

company. No no, nothing, no know nothing right. But it was

a huge company, many many companies. I got to learn. So I

had to learn from ground up and and and the pay was just I can't

even say the word hour so poor. I was all right those days,

the bad economic downturn, you earn verily. Like I looked at the letter.

I laugh, you know today I really love you know, I got

my employment letters. You know. Do you know how much I earned for

corporate company? Do you know how old I am? Now? Four hundred

and fifty a month corport on the on the malasios. Can I say the

word because so and I and because there were there were so hard to find

jobs. Then you take it or leave it. So I took it.

I don't know, I was recommended by somebody, so I thought, you

don't do the just thank you and then just work and trainer. Of course

I had to train from scratchler yo, learn learn like everything, like I

really like, like hey, God around and every time my parents would be

saying, oh you little money, I'm seeing people graduat now got more seary

and I don't know. I'm just not anything. Don't know you're worth But

she's not worth much love because because if you want to be today where I

am, and I hold that position today, Yes, you have to learn

from growing out la So so every time looking for job, not looking for

job, trying to change job, trying to change job, mother is telling

them. Finally City Bank offered me a job and pay was a bit better.

Guess how much can I even say? I slept City Bank? You

know City we can offer you six not even doing what I'm trained to do

in some don't know what credit department, I don't know. And then NC

you have to you have to work late at night. No, Jela,

I'm punk the City Bank that I'm oh, my good. They said,

we only we only give a position higher salary if you got a master's degree.

Masters are damn you keep it ler and and I don't know, no,

I'll be totally changing my line of work that I really want to be

why what I studied for? And so I turned them down because I was

so scared to take the job because I had to work with two other men

until late at night, a pretty good I cannot I'm like, these guys

are going like yummy, and this girl, are you scared? And then

I got no car to take bus. Those are living when dinosaurs walked here,

and so I'm like, I'm so scared. I didn't want to take

the job because I had to work with the manager and then this do you

know what is like? And then they're like, okay, are you late?

And I'm like like how late? You know? Like ladies late?

Man? Can I tell me? No, You're just come in. I'm

like, I have to think a pretty girl got brains and I don't know

that about pretty deler So so I told and my dad was going to help

me find a joy. Dad, I'm not taking said why, it's more

money than we're earning. Now, it's not about the money. It's not

about the money. I'm not leaving this company. And I try finding jobs.

I tell you, sometimes you just want to run away from what God

actually intends for you, But you have to go to very high. Were

lot problems with my supervisor didn't like me. I don't know. I wasn't

I was clever or maybe more fresh. Yeah, man, And a lot

of future for someone like me. And if I know how to work well,

I will grow and you and I have to say that I work among

a lot of top top directors in this nation. Some of them are date

now. Yes there was Tanslim got Way was one of the directors I worked

on on the board. He offered me a job to be his personal assistant.

I say, it's okay, done. What are you doing? I

got more paid and you how about you any now I can pump it.

I know the college secretary. How I think better than not? Actually like

you have to do this and those member I worked in the days that dinosaurs

walk. He's very different world from now. There's no headphones that thing are

like okay, I didn't even have a car, could have poor so like

so people like the Limb, got Waing and and different different ones. These

are really top of deadline. They were part of our direct bord of directors

and and that's what my job is. I work among of them. We

do so much what you see as Honglong Bank. Today, we did the

take, we took the buy over, we sold the bank, our bank,

the company I worked for. To them work like man, you're look

at phone, so care were only signing contraga at one A M one a

M my boss Christian know, I'm looking at my boss e c or I

canno talk to him while I tell my manager wait for one am dethny can

signed contract and the next one and then by midnight we have to send things

to Bersa. You know, we have to send everything faxes. This fax

machine see where dinosaurs walk the earth. You don't even know what a fax

machine is, right, fax machine? So so and again I'm like why,

like there's no nice pills and man's slow low. The climate was very

slow, and you think, but God, what are you opening another door?

And I tried many times different types of companies. And if it's not

your time, it is not your time. And probably God saying stay in

there, prayer, Pray for favor. I pray for favor with the people

I had to work with, Pray for favor my supervisor. I had a

lot of future because I was very young still, which means I can actually

grow and become if I stay loyally to the company, which in my age

group we are very loyal one. I never jump job one. Never there

these days, and you know how to jump job one. Just stay,

you know, grow the company and become the furniture like the chop safe.

Let I know the safe, chop safe stand there forever. So do know

how to change up. But I really felt, I know I should leave,

I should get more, that I'm worth more than this her never so

God saying not time yet. Do you know when the time was when I

actually got to to do the fine finally got gave the okay if I wrote

in and another public lista company. These guys said, yes, that means

I immediately jump off the assistant companies actually get you get another level. Wah.

And at the same time, the Lord said, come, it's the

full time mom malo are you already five years praying? No, I want

to go to the mission field. Lord, I want to go to the

mission field. So hello, God never speaking, No, so five years,

I say, I think he's forgotten me. Really, I'm on the

shelf already, h D already twenty seven years already, I think you're not

gonna send me to the field. So but then I got opening to become

the assistant co set there and then as I was sending my thanks, So

now if I'm giving my letter, yeah, now, now the MDCs,

are you sure you want to leave? We are going to make you the

assistant cosette bada gonna come out? Are you like? What are you sure

that I told them what I want to do. I want to go to

missions. I'm gonna but your missions can wait right like you should work now,

No, you should. You should be promoting you to this is You're

gonna handle over this many at least the company is da da da da.

Sounds tempting, but God as a real sense of humor at the time,

and you're being promoted. It was time that he says, come. And

then I left for training and I went off to Europe. Wow, I

tell you, at the right time, God knows when that assurance is that

I'm not that bet La can get promoted. I can get from mot la.

People want you la right, not like so work so long one hundred

fifty ryro are you you know? I mean I didn't stay for fifty forever?

Are but but it's just like when you were you got so hard,

not too hard to work with this person so hard. Everybody like wrong?

Are you only right again? So you pray, ask for favor and stick

in there and submit in there and learn. And then sometimes where we are,

we we we run too fast, We changed too fast. We we

run the opposite side. When the promised land was always here. God says,

I just trust the Lord anymore? Tis trusting the Lord? I see.

Okay, very Christian answers say, but that's Jesus. So don't be

ashamed to tell somebody to trust in the Lord, because I could be telling

you trusting yourself, trust in your government, trusting your money, trusting your

boss, trust in the system. But I have to tell you trust in

the Lord. He is faithful. I tell you what. You get angry

with me. You might get angry with your pastor you might get angry with

your home leader for asking you to trust in the Lord. And you say,

such a Christian answer, But we are children of God. I am

not the child of the devil. I am not the child of some whoever.

I'm the child of the Lord. If I don't trust in God,

who am I trusting? I will be trusting in my doctor. I'll be

trusting in my you, my pet cat. I'll be trusting in something and

not the Lord. God says, I am the God who sees you.

It's so personal. God sees not you on the outside. God sees you

in your heart cry, and he sees your tears, and he captures your

tears. He keeps in bottle. He remembers your tears, he remembers your

cry. He doesn't forget, but he says, wait, submit yourself under

my will and I will bring you through. Amen, Come on Church.

How to say? We are here at church, we hear these messages,

not just I'm not here to give you new messages articular years. I'm here

to build your faith, to remain strong, to remain faithful, to be

on the solid foundation, so when the wind blows, and the and the

get swept away because you are founded on the solid rock of knowing that you

This French lady is seventy eight years old. She is down with cancer.

She has got autoimmune disease. She's about to die. But this woman's married

to an American, lived in Malaysia and loves Malaysia. And we all not

living Malaysia. Sixteen years in Malaysia. American husband, French wife, travel

the world, worked everywhere. I don't know what he does. He's rich,

I'm sure, because you can't believe in Malaysia second home. I'm Malaysia,

second home, loves it, loves it here taking treatment in some way,

he says, Sunway is like the best ever. They take you from

the cradle into the grief, the service la you born here, you take

care of you or everything here, and then even when you're sick and they

take care of you. Know as I told me, I'm like yeah.

And they they lived a wildlife. Wow, this is love story, you

know whom French women goes to America, falls in love. American man comes

to France, finds his love of his life, live together Ora. Finally

they get married, then they have kids. Then she told me all the

story. She's very sick. She gotta thought already breathing very had and said,

but I want to know God Huh, how can I know God?

She just wanted to know what will happened to her when she dies. Suddenly

her Catholic thing came back to her from her childhood. Both are Catholics,

but never faith, never lived their faith, not a day in their life.

But even in your last moments, asking the Lord God, I want

to know you. She doesn't even know God. She's cursed God. She

told me, I've been so sarcastic as French and my French not so good,

so so hard. No, it's some much. You cannot breathe husband

not helping, doctor g I think that's what she meant. I think that's

what she meant. And then and she said, I want to seek God.

I want to know. Can I know God? I said, Michelle.

The very fact that I'm here and I don't know you from Adam,

I'm telling you God sent me here. I'm here and I'm here to tell

you your prayer way from Jesus. So do you want to say the prayer?

just pray like okay, you just pray, you receive. You want to

know God? Yes I do. Will you come to my lie? I

believe you will. She says the prayer with much difficulty in breathing, but

she says the prayer. She receives Jesus. She pauses and I look at

her and I said, I pray for you. She said yes. And

as we prayed, you did not open our eyes, close our eyes and

pray. But leaving for God to do something. His presence filled the room.

Her husband is bawling in his eyes out. It's just crying again.

Hear someone's all being away. She's just tearing as I prayed, and I

just pray for her to God to touch her life fill her, and then

we amen. We really feel God's presence when we open our eyes. I

thought she died because she didn't wake up. I don't know you. She

didn't open eyes for so long. So bit awkward, really right? If

I prayed with someone and died, then't not very good? Lah, So

Allelujah, Thank God. She's a holy open eyes Louijah. And you

know what, her countenance just changed. I can't explain brightness. And you

know what's the first thing she said to me? Sometimes shame on us.

You know what's the first thing she said? When can I go for the

gathering? I said, what gathering? The gathering? Church? Yes?

will get you there. I want to go for the gathering. Well,

my heart like walk right loud. You want to go to Jude, my

hospital. Hospital doesn't pay me. He said, wow, every time you

come, I cry, But he didn't say the prayer of salvation yet.

I just hope he will one day find Christ because he's seeing it life.

And you know, she had two weeks with her family. Her two daughters

came back. In two weeks she went home. I cried because I wanted

to We all wanted to see her again, and we didn't have time.

So at the time when she passed on, we were busy with expioor retreat.

We just took a cab and we went. Jill and I I you

know what the husband said to us, peacefully, she went no more sleepless

nights, Her daughters came around her, she had time with her family to

say goodbye. She went off peacefully. That is God's blessing as a child

of God. That just go home. And you know, he said,

do you know which was a favorite book among all the books that you gave

her? I said, which one she liked? The one with all the

pictures in it? Exclaimed She said that was her favorite favorite. She would

look at it every day and look get the pictures. And she said,

I want to go to the gathering. Wow. You know this is a

pre believe A person who doesn't curse God in the face, don't want Jesus.

And yet when she said God, I want to know you, he

came. He sent me. So you are a child of God. Surely

he sees you. You love Jesus, you love God. When you pray,

you must pray by faith, and it is faith. The currency of

heaven connects you. God sees you, and you must know he sees you.

And then you see him as we run this race. Friends. It's

the small things, really, It's not like, oh this is da is

this faith in you? So where even you feel you got little faith,

a little strength God sees you. He's cheering you on. The angels are

cheering you on, the Saints are cheering your onn here's the Holy Spirit encouraging

you and me. I pray we never lose our heart or you know,

never say I never want to go for the gathering. This woman found Jesus.

The first thing she said is I want to go for the gathering.

She wanted to be in church with other believers to know this God. Brother

sisters, those of us who already know God, Praise God that we can

gather. Praise God that we can worship Him, and I want to do

so much. My lesson from this is God sees you. Even if you

see the person who didn't know God for so many years custom in his face,

say no to Jesus. And the day she says, I want to

know God. For weeks she said, tell me how I can know God?

Until the doctor said I can call past her and she caught me and

I'm there and she receives Christ. She was ready. How about us who

know God? Hellos Christ? When you seek him, surely surely he would

meet with you, speak to you through his written word and to a specific

word, a Rayma word the word that you already planted inside, that you

needed that word for that season and that time. He's an awesome father God.

Oh, I was so encouraged that my God sees me. If nobody

else sees me, God sees me. And have I seen him? Have

you seen the Lord in your circumstance? He surely does. And if he

can come through to someone who has cursed him in the face and never wanted

to follow him, how about us who know him and have followed Jesus and

continuing to follow him. The Lord is hearing you. He hears you,

and he wants you Amen, hallelujah. Come on, you canna even say
