  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your tea. I have been doing a series, all right.

  3. It was an accidental series. I didn't intend it to be a series,

  4. but it just so happened that it evolved over time and God was just

  5. speaking to me. So you're speaking to me most of the time, and

  6. I'm just sharing with you my devotion that what I have been going through.

  7. So the series, right, I just came up with the title even as

  8. I was driving here, because I was thinking, hey, it's a series,

  9. right, so series needs a title. So the title is called this

  10. is Real Life. This is real life? Okay, So can I pull

  11. up the slide? Yes, so this is the favorite slide. I think

  12. you'll be like bored of this slide, really, but this is real life.

  13. So this is real life. We have a plan, our plan.

  14. Usually there's a sounds perfect, everything goes according to plan. But what happens

  15. in real life nothing goes according to plan. If we are fortunate, maybe

  16. eighty percent goes according to plan. But we know that there are so many

  17. factors that has uh that takes comes into play. Even in even in this

  18. time, you know, like now the war in the Middle East, you

  19. know, has factored in. Suddenly you maybe you had a plan to go

  20. and visit Israel. Maybe I don't know you had a plan, but then

  21. I think the plans will change, right or even if you suddenly plan to

  22. go and visit us and then now you look at the currency, you're like,

  23. oh, man, I don't think right now at the right time.

  24. You know. So you have a lot of plans, but there's so many

  25. factors in life that cause a lot of hindrance to our plans. So I

  26. have preached about a few of them. What do we do? All right?

  27. So a recap The first one I preached it during KChO if y'all were

  28. there, so wow, it spans back from KChO. You know. The

  29. first one was getting out of a rut, and the verse was all things

  30. work together for the good of those who love God. So you remember Paul

  31. and Silas. Right, Paul was thrown into jail, he was bitten by

  32. a snake, he was chained to a god. But no matter what he

  33. said, all things work together for the good. So his plan, he

  34. had a lot of pitfalls, but he continued persevering forward. Right, second

  35. one was I'm mature or are we immature? Right? And the verse for

  36. that is whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as

  37. rubbish that I may gain Christ is the one where we say it. To

  38. live is Christ, and to die is gain right in terms of it,

  39. So no matter what comes our way, we still want to exalt, make

  40. sure that God is exalted, and that causes us too mature, all right.

  41. The third one spirit lead, Spirit lead, for God has not given

  42. us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound

  43. mind. Remember that. So God has not given us a spirit of fear.

  44. And usually when we are in the pit, we are filled with fear

  45. because things are not going to according to plan. Our plans are thrown out

  46. the window, and we are scared. Right, we are scared, but

  47. we learned how that God gives us love, power and a sound mind which

  48. helps us tackle the valleys. And the most recent one was watch what you

  49. say, So tell your neighbor and say watch what you say. So remember

  50. in the pit. In the pit, you are going through a negative circumstance,

  51. and usually in a negative circumstance you will just usually say the easiest thing

  52. that comes to mind, which is like dialer, no, sure, die,

  53. I don't know what to do. Where is God? You know?

  54. I give up? And we learned what God was saying in be quick to

  55. listen, slow to speak, slow to anger. Right, So this is

  56. where we are at point four. So it looks like there's a lot of

  57. handles that we can take when we are dealing with real life. But today

  58. the fifth one, right, So I'm not sure whether this will be the

  59. last one or not. As of now, I think it might be,

  60. but it may not be. You never know, right, So the fifth

  61. one, I want to take y'all on a treasure hunt today. I wanted

  62. to take you on a treasure hunt because right they were saying that the fifth

  63. handle is more precious than gold. It's more precious than gold and silvery.

  64. All know what it is. Let us go on a treasure hunt, all

  65. right? So Proverbs three fourteen to fifteen, For wisdom is more profitable than

  66. silver, and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than

  67. rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with her. And this is the treasure

  68. that we are seeking. How many of us right in the pit we have

  69. prayed, God, give me wisdom. They say, I have no idea

  70. how I'm going to get out of this. God, I need you to

  71. move. You tell me what to do because I have no idea and a

  72. lot of times in the pit. Right, what we need to move from

  73. the pit into the peak is wisdom. We need wisdom because it is probably

  74. a new challenge. If it's an old challenge, you don't need wisdom.

  75. What you need is experience. But if it's a new challenge, you are

  76. stretched. You are being stretched, you are being taken to another level.

  77. You need wisdom. Right, So next light, So the title of today's

  78. sermon right is Pearls of Wisdom, Right, pearls of wisdom. So we

  79. are always looking for pearls of wisdom. You know, we think that it's

  80. like a magic I just need that one word that will help me unlock it.

  81. And how many of us desire wisdom? You know you desire wisdom.

  82. And if you get the right understanding of wisdom, right, it is the

  83. most precious treasure. That's how valuable wisdom is. And sometimes we understate the

  84. value of wisdom because right, God prioritizes wisdom. He's always asking us to

  85. seek wisdom. The whole book of Proverbs was there's a book of proverbs on

  86. wisdom. Ecclesiastes speaks about wisdom. The Book of James also speaks about wisdom.

  87. So you know that wisdom is important and it's more precious than treasure,

  88. right, But what is wisdom? So we always so you're looking for the

  89. treasure, but actually what is the treasure? What is wisdom? Have you

  90. all thought about it? And he thought? What is wisdom? Or you

  91. need wisdom to find out? What's wisdom? What is wisdom? You know?

  92. Sometimes we always say, God, give me wisdom. What actually is

  93. wisdom? We sometimes just mistake wisdom as the answer, you know, Or

  94. you're like, hey, I want to be a smart alect. I want

  95. people to call me wise, you know, and we think that it is

  96. or we think people with a lot of knowledge they are wise. You know,

  97. you always have the right thing to say, or people who have a

  98. quick tongue, you know, they always know the right things to say at

  99. the right time. Is that wisdom? You know? So let me just

  100. give us a bit of definition, right, wait, not definition? Yes,

  101. definition? So wisdom wisdom is the ability to perceive the true nature of

  102. a situation, true nature of a situation, and to implement the will of

  103. God in that situation. Wisdom is the practical application of God's truth to a

  104. specific situation. And wisdom is knowing what God wants you to do and then

  105. doing it. That is wisdom. So when you're in a pit right you

  106. will think that, man, I have no idea why I'm going through this,

  107. and it probably just hits you like a bus. You're like it came

  108. out of nowhere, suddenly this happens. But wisdom will sort of reveal it

  109. that what is the true nature of this situation? What is God bringing me

  110. through? What do I need to learn from this? What do I need

  111. to do? You understand the true nature of the situation. You don't look

  112. at the short term loss that you have, but you have a long term

  113. perspective. What does God want me to go through? And God is with

  114. me in this situation. That's the true nature of this situation. Even in

  115. the valley of the shadow of death, God is with you. That is

  116. the true nature of the situation. You know, a lot of times right

  117. in the pit is where most Christians give up their faith because they do not

  118. recognize the true nature of the situation. The true nature is the situation is

  119. God bringing you from the pit to the peak. He wants you to go

  120. to the next level. But we might be shortsighted, okay. And it's

  121. the practical applification of God's truth. So what is God's truth in that situation?

  122. What am I supposed to do when I'm going through a difficult time in

  123. this situation? What am I supposed to do? Okay? So that is

  124. the definition of wisdom? Got that? So how many of you all are

  125. wise? Huh No, depending on mood. Okay, we we we all

  126. aspire to be wise. Right, we have been wise before. We have

  127. been wise before. Tell your neighbor you have been wise before and you will

  128. be wise again. Okay. So, so like what I mentioned, right,

  129. wisdom is a treasure. So as a treasure, right, first question,

  130. if I tell you the wisdom is a treasure, what is the first?

  131. Next first question you want to ask? Correct? Next, where do

  132. I seek wisdom? So if I say wisdom is a treasure, it's more

  133. precious than gold and silver, next thing you will ask is where is it?

  134. I told you it's a treasure, you have to go and seek it.

  135. Right, You have to go and seek it. Okay, So let

  136. me bring you to a few verses next line. So this is James three,

  137. verse thirteen. If you are wise and understand God's ways, prove it

  138. by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from

  139. wisdom. But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your

  140. heart, don't cover up the truth with boasting and lying, for jealousy and

  141. selfishness are not God's kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual,

  142. and demonic. For whoever, for wherever there is jealousies and selfish ambition,

  143. there you will find disorder and evil of every kind next life. But the

  144. wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving,

  145. gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full

  146. of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is

  147. always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant the seeds of peace a

  148. rep are hours of righteousness. Okay, So the question just now is where

  149. do I seek wisdom? How does this passage tie into that? Okay?

  150. So, first of all, did you notice from this passage. If you

  151. go back one slide, there is two types of wisdom. One are the

  152. two types of wisdom you look at verse fifteen for jealousy and our fishness are

  153. not God's kind of wisdom. So there is God's kind of wisdom and there

  154. is the world's kind of wisdom. So when you are seeking wisdom, make

  155. sure you're seeking the right kind of wisdom first, because if not, you

  156. open a treasure chest full of the gold chocolates instead of gold coins. You

  157. know you have the old school goal chocolate. Right. If you're seeking the

  158. wrong kind of wisdom, you will get the wrong type of results. So

  159. there is two kinds of wisdom. And earlier when I mentioned our definition of

  160. wisdom that we are talking about today is God's wisdom. Okay, God's wisdom.

  161. So this is in the Book of James. Okay, Book of James.

  162. It's this is a bit of Bible study. But I told you it's

  163. a treasure hunt. Treasure hunt not straightforward or right. You have to go

  164. a bit, but he'll be worthy, he'll be worth it. Okay,

  165. next life. So this is from First Corinthians too. This is written by

  166. Paul. Just now that one was written by James. So what does Paul

  167. say yet among Yet, when I am among mature believers, I do speak

  168. words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world

  169. or the rulers of this world, who are soon forgotten. No, the

  170. wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God, his plan that was previously

  171. hidden, even though He made it for our ultimate glory before the world began.

  172. But the rulers of this world have not understood it. If they had,

  173. they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. Next, this is First

  174. Corinthians treet the next one. I had to feed you with milk and not

  175. with solid food because you weren't ready for anything stronger. And you still aren't

  176. ready, for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous

  177. of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn't that prove that you are

  178. controlled by your sinful nature? Are in you living like people of the world?

  179. So James right, just now. Earlier in James he said that the

  180. wisdom of the world is full of jealousy and selfishness, and Paul says the

  181. same thing. Paul says the same thing two different people in The Bible refers

  182. to worldly wisdom as jealous of one another and quarrel with one another. And

  183. this is natural. This is our human nature, human nature. Right,

  184. we will always resort to worldly wisdom. What's the best choice for me?

  185. It's me. If it impacts anybody else, I don't care, it's me

  186. first, right, But you know that God's wisdom is different. Okay,

  187. So I know it's a lot of scripture, so I make it an infographic

  188. easier, easier, okay, next, okay, So there's wisdom, there's

  189. wisdom, right, there's God's wisdom and the world's wisdom. So God's wisdom,

  190. what is the sauce. The source of God's wisdom is from God.

  191. The source of the world's wisdom is earthly, it's sensual, it's demonic.

  192. So there's three sources of the world's wisdom. First of your flesh, your

  193. desires, and it can can also be demonic. What's the trait of God's

  194. wisdom? Good conduct, meek and pure, peaceable, And the results of

  195. God's wisdom is good fruits and righteousness. That's the results of God's wisdom,

  196. all right, But the world's wisdom, right, you can see traits are

  197. bitter and envy, self seeking, boast and lie, and the results is

  198. confusion and every evil thing. Wow, every evil thing that means, right,

  199. they just summarize everything, every evil thing. If you are resulting to

  200. the world's wisdom, the result is everything bad. You know, and if

  201. we look at it right, sometimes that is the case. You know,

  202. that is the case. You know that the Pharisees. The Pharisees, they

  203. knew the Torah or the Jewish scripture inside out. They had to memorize it.

  204. But even in James right, it is it. If they lived by

  205. God's wisdom, they would not have crucified Jesus. But they lived by worldly

  206. wisdom. They knew the Torah, they knew God's word, but they lived

  207. with worldly wisdom, and they crucified Jesus. You know. So I just

  208. like whether share so we know that wisdom. We seek wisdom daily, right,

  209. So I want to share a story that a day in the life of

  210. our family. Okay, we every day we need to seek wisdom. And

  211. I tell you it's quite amazing how many times we have to seek for wisdom.

  212. So, so last week we had to go and make our passports.

  213. Okay, So this is the second attemp. The first attem we went and

  214. then it was we ran out on numbers, so we had to go back.

  215. And then on Wednesday, last Wednesday, we went again. So we

  216. we went very early, sixty te we went there. We reached there around

  217. seven something. Que for the number, and then we got the number for

  218. the kids. This is for the kids. For adults, of course,

  219. you can do it online and then go and collect. Okay, so we

  220. did a kid. So we were there early, we got our number,

  221. and then finally it's time for the kids to do it. Right. So

  222. one of our kids no issues when did everything well, smooth, got it

  223. very fast. The second kid, right he went there, suddenly decided he

  224. don't want to take photo. I tell you, you're like, what,

  225. this is like something that you'll just take for granted. It's like, no,

  226. it's a non issue. It's a non issue at all for most people.

  227. But I'm telling you, this is a day in the life of our

  228. family. It happens every day. This curing things that are normal or we

  229. take for granted. Sometimes it's not. No. So we were like stressed

  230. out loud, like how they doesn't want to take a photo, doesn't want

  231. to take a photo then the person at the counter or so, I mean,

  232. thank god, it was very patient, trying help and stuff like that.

  233. Right, so I could feel my my blood boiling read you know,

  234. I'm like, because I had to rush to work. I had to rush

  235. to work at U took a bit at a time off. I have to

  236. reach work around like say ten something, you know, and then I have

  237. meetings back to back. So I was like, how then I can feel

  238. my earthly wisdom is okay? How would you deal with it? I asked

  239. you, how would you deal with it in this scenario? Yeah? You

  240. were whacked? Right, You'll be like what the world? You know,

  241. like like try and this thing? Right? And I was using all the

  242. earthly wisdom, but then after a while I realized that it's not getting true.

  243. It's not getting true because right, it was built on self seeking.

  244. I was looking at hey, it's impacting me. You know, it's impacting

  245. me. It was self thinking, it was, and it was not peaceful,

  246. you know. So then finally it came out, and then talked to

  247. him and stuff like that came down, but he still didn't want to take

  248. so that I told you, hey, I have to go to work,

  249. really have to go to office, yeah, he said. I asked him,

  250. hey, how if you don't build up, don't do your passport,

  251. you cannot go to Melbourne with used with us. He said, don't worry,

  252. I'll build a submarine. I'm like, I'm telling you this is what

  253. we have to deal with that they leave it. I really believe you,

  254. know. So this is why we come to a point. Every day we

  255. have different pits on and every day right we are at our limits on because

  256. our wisdom and experience has no value in moving us up. So so then

  257. I told you and told you just a worst case scenario. We just have

  258. to go back. You know, we can't get it done because you cannot

  259. face because you go there in front of the camera, he puts a monkey

  260. faces. You cannot do anything. You know. There's like, yeah,

  261. there is nothing you can do to face it. Nothing, there is zero,

  262. I'm value and sometimes in life we might be at that situation. There

  263. is nothing impossible, no experience, no amount of wisdom or advice by people

  264. will get us out of that situation, you know. So so I went

  265. to work. I was praying. I said, God, I only we

  266. really need wisdom for you to intervene. I called my mama, so I

  267. said, I really have no idea that. So this is where Jess exercised

  268. much more godly wisdom than me. So sore, she was meek, fure

  269. peaceable. She like tried to understand exercise compassion. It takes much longer,

  270. you know. Actually, we could have got all gone home right by nineteen

  271. in the morning. We could have all gone home at nineteen in the morning.

  272. You know, it's just a five second thing. You know, it's

  273. sometimes it's so simple. But that's our plan. And what's the reality.

  274. The reality is this, you know. Yeah, so yeah, he was

  275. he didn't like the flash and stuff. But what Jess had to do,

  276. right ISRAELI had to exercise wisdom. And I think God for the wisdom to

  277. really sort of calm him down, sort of talk to him, say the

  278. right things, say the right things to understand him, uh, and to

  279. to get him to a place where he is willing to do it on his

  280. own. And I tell you that is a miracle. It may seem very

  281. small to y'all, but to us, right that was huge. That is

  282. a huge thing. You know, where God's wisdom was just imparted into jazz,

  283. and she used the right words to say and just to get him to

  284. to even take the photo. That's how I actually wanted to put the photo

  285. there because I was like, this is a testimony, guys, this is

  286. like yeah, So it was like, but I'm telling you, this is

  287. this is real life, this is his real life for us. So I'm

  288. telling you the challenges that we go through on a daily basis is no joke.

  289. And we have come to a point right where it's like just surrender because

  290. there is nothing I can do. There's nothing I can say, there's nothing

  291. that we can do. We can only trust in God. God has blessed

  292. us with our child. God will help us bring him up and it's no

  293. longer what we do. And the funny thing is that's why I keep on

  294. telling Pasta Kenna and Pasta Sendra Fast we are the wrong people to be leading

  295. ex young family because we have If you know what our family is going through,

  296. it's it's really not a model family. You know, we have so

  297. many challenges and stuff like that. But I guess it's that's why we need

  298. God's wisdom in terms of it. Yeah, so what we had to leave

  299. it, we could have gone home at ninetyty, but at four pm we

  300. got the passport done. So sometimes, right it God's wisdom requires not within

  301. our timing, but God's timing, and it brings us through a process which

  302. is painful, which is tough, but at the end of it, right,

  303. the results will be good fruit and righteousness. Imagine if we just ran

  304. with the world, you know, you would have gotten the photo maybe,

  305. but the relationship with our child would have suffered, you know, So it

  306. was more a selfish thing for us. And this is that's what I'm saying.

  307. This is when we seek wisdom, right, what kind of wisdom?

  308. What kind of wisdom? And I tell you we we have spoke to a

  309. lot of experts, right at the end of the day, all the experts

  310. actually parents know best law. I'm like, dude, don't know why I'm

  311. not paying you. So that's why I say, sometimes we need God's wisdom.

  312. We really need God's wisdom because we can't do it on our own.

  313. Right, And we most of the time, right, we seek the world's

  314. wisdom first, right, because we think a and last resort we ask God,

  315. but we seek God first. We save ourselves a lot of heartache.

  316. Right, So that is where the first part right, where do you seek

  317. wisdom? You seek wisdom from God, don't seek wisdom from the world.

  318. Okay. Next, So after you have seek right now you want to get

  319. it. How do you obtain wisdom? Right you're founding? How do you

  320. get it? How do you obtain okay, James one, Next, my

  321. brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that

  322. the testing of your faith produces patients. But let patients have its perfect work,

  323. that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Okay. Next,

  324. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who

  325. gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

  326. But let him ask in faith with no doubting, for he who doubts

  327. is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.

  328. Right. I think we have read. If you've been in church long enough,

  329. you would have read this right. And for me, I was like,

  330. it seems so simple. If any of you lacks wisdom, ask and

  331. He'll give it to you. And they say he will give it to you

  332. willingly, willingly, So I'm like always asking God for wisdom. I'm like,

  333. what's the answer, you know, giving me the wisdom. So that's

  334. when when I was doing a study for this, right, I realized there

  335. is more to this. This is actually conditional. This is actually conditional.

  336. You know. It's although it's easier if any of your lacks wisdom, let

  337. him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without a reproach.

  338. It will be given to him. Right. But first of all, right,

  339. we need to ask correctly. We need to ask correctly. You know,

  340. God is not a genie. A lot of us treat God as a

  341. genie. We're like, hey, you serve me. You, I'm asking

  342. you this. You, I'm demanding you give me this. But we have

  343. to come to a posture and know that God is God. Okay, So

  344. let me go through a few verses next. So, the fear of the

  345. Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Remember just now they say it, ask

  346. of God and he will give you wisdom. But the beginning or the foundation

  347. of wisdom is fear of the Lord, and the knowledge of the Holy One

  348. is understanding next life nother one, sum hundred eleven, Verse ten. The

  349. fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. It comes out again,

  350. comes out again. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, a

  351. good understanding. Have all those who do these commandments His praise and yours forever?

  352. Okay? Next Probabs one, verse seven. The fear of the Lord

  353. is the beginning of knowledge. But few fools despise wisdom and instruction. So

  354. what is the prerequisite before we ask God for wisdom? The fear of the

  355. Lord. Do we have the right posture? Fear of the Lord? So

  356. what is fear of the Lord? Reverence for God? Okay, next line,

  357. fear of the Lord. The few scriptures mentioned fear of the Lord is

  358. the foundation of wisdom. Right, But we have to understand what this fear

  359. of the Lord means. Right? Are we positioning ourselves in the right place?

  360. Right? Because you know that for the treasure to be unlocked, we

  361. need to be ready to unlock it, and only the with the right posture

  362. we can unlock it. Okay, next line? And now Israel? What

  363. there's the Lord your God ask of you? But to fear the Lord your

  364. God, this is you charmingly ten. So what does fear the Lord mean?

  365. Walk in obedience to him, love him, to serve the Lord your

  366. God, with all your heart and with all your soul. So before we

  367. ask wisdom from God, do we have the fear of the Lord? Do

  368. we have the fear of the Lord? Because when we are in the pit,

  369. right, if we do not have the fear of the Lord, we

  370. will blame God. We will. That's why a lot of people step away

  371. from God because they do not have the fear of the Lord. But you

  372. need the fear of the Lord so that He will give you wisdom for you

  373. to go from the pit to the peak. Right, So what do you

  374. need to do? Walk in obedience even in the pit, Walk in obedience

  375. to him, to love him, to serve him with all your heart and

  376. with all your soul. Right, um, and next light, So let

  377. me show you the story of the wisest man on earth. Right according in

  378. the Bible, who is it Solomon? So Solomon, first King's West three

  379. Solomon showed his love for the Lord by walking according to the instructions given him

  380. by his father, except that he offered sacrifices and burn incense on the high

  381. place. Okay, the accept we will keep it for another sermon. Because

  382. you know that he obeyed everything except one, and that also can lead to

  383. a downfall. But what we want to see, what I wanted to bring

  384. us across to is he showed his love for the Lord by walking into according

  385. to the instructions given him by his father David. Probably he lived ninety nine

  386. percent, you know, except that that one percent right, and the king

  387. was for king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most

  388. important high place, and Solomon offered a thousand burned offerings on that altar.

  389. Okay. Next at Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in

  390. a dream, and the Lord said, ask whatever you want me to give

  391. you and verse nine, So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your

  392. people and to distinguish between right and wrong, For who is able to govern

  393. these great people of yours? The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for

  394. this. Solomon God wisdom because he first had the fear of the Lord.

  395. When he had the fear of the Lord and he walked in the way of

  396. love of God, God asked him for what does he want? He asked

  397. for wisdom. God gave it to him. So if we want wisdom.

  398. This was an eye opening thing for me because I think God, I always

  399. ask for wisdom. Why I don't know what to do next or what?

  400. Then? I have to check my heart. God, Am I living with

  401. the fear of the Lord? Am I walking in obedience to your will?

  402. Am I loving you? Am I serving you? Only? Then? Solomon,

  403. God, wisdom? So do y'all want wisdom? How do you obtain

  404. wisdom? Fear of the Lord? Okay? All right, so this is

  405. my third point, last point. So after you get wisdom, you seek

  406. wisdom. Right, you seek wisdom from God. You obtain wisdom by having

  407. the fear of the Lord, and then you ask him after you get wisdom?

  408. Then why correct? Next, how do I exercise wisdom? How do

  409. I exercise wisdom? So a lot of us right, you read a lot?

  410. Okay, you have a lot of knowledge and stuff like that. But

  411. knowledge in itself, right, is not enough. You know, some of

  412. the smartest people in the world might still be bankrupt. You know why?

  413. Why is that? Soul? Okay, let me take us from collisions one.

  414. So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you.

  415. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give

  416. you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and

  417. please the Lord, and your life will produce every good kind of good fruit.

  418. All the while you will grow as you learn to know God better and

  419. better. So there is I tellly three components. How do you exercise wisdom?

  420. There is three components to it from this scripture. Okay, So the

  421. first component is knowledge. First of all, you need knowledge. Okay.

  422. So knowledge can exist without wisdom, but wisdom cannot exist without knowledge. You

  423. know what. You can have knowledge but not have wisdom. But to have

  424. wisdom you need knowledge. So first of all, we need to educate ourselves.

  425. What is God telling me about my situation? What is the word of

  426. God tell me in the Bible about what I'm going through? What are his

  427. promises? What is He teaching me? So we need that knowledge. And

  428. then the second one, after you have the knowledge, give you spiritual wisdom

  429. and understanding. After you have the knowledge, right then you understand it.

  430. How does that apply to me? God? I understand what you're teaching me,

  431. and now I want to It becomes like a rayma word. You know,

  432. it's a revelation when God speaks to you and suddenly the word comes out

  433. to you and it's a revelation. You word and it opens your eyes.

  434. And after it opens your eyes, what do you do? Then the way

  435. you live will honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every

  436. kind of good fruit. All the while you will grow and learn to know

  437. that God, to know God better and better. So first you need to

  438. educate yourself. After you educate yourself, you understand it, get revelation.

  439. After you have the revelation, you need to live it out. You need

  440. to live it out right. So I simplify this for your next night fit.

  441. How do you exercise wisdom? You get fit, you need facts,

  442. you need intelligence, and then you will have your transformation. It's the same

  443. with working out. You know that going to the gym or working out helps

  444. you. You understand by you knowing where you are at, Where am I

  445. weak at, what do I need to work on? After I understand it,

  446. then I live it out and then I see the transformation. So how

  447. do you exercise wisdom? This is how we do it right. So when

  448. we are in the pit, first of all, seek the right source of

  449. wisdom, seek God, okay, and then after that we need to obtain

  450. how do we obtain it, the fear of the Lord? And after we

  451. obtain it, we need to use it. And by using it we will

  452. get from the pit to the peak that will bring us to our next level.

  453. Right. So, even as I just draw towards the close, right,

  454. I just want to share a story as well in terms of it.

  455. So there is this, So there's this lady. Her name is called Renee

  456. n Pair Okay in the US. And what happened is her daughter was killed

  457. by a drunk driver, you know, and a drunk driver was sentenced to

  458. prison I think for thirty over years, right, And she was, if

  459. you can imagine it, she was in a pit, right, She was

  460. in a pit. She had every reason to be angry, She had every

  461. reason to one this most severe punishment for the drug driver, you know.

  462. But her testimony, even in her paid right, she seeks. She sought

  463. after God, God, why am I going through this? What? How

  464. am I going to go through this? And God just gave her such a

  465. heart of compassion. You know, She's sick for wisdom because what is wisdom?

  466. What is wisdom? Going through your situation the way God wants you to

  467. go through That is wisdom. And in that pit she us asking God for

  468. wisdom. She needed help to get through this. So what she did,

  469. right is she actually forgave that guy. She forgave that guy, and she

  470. went one step further. She went and actually petitioned to the judge to shorten

  471. his sentencing. And because of all this, right, this drunken driver came

  472. to the Lord and right now, she and this guy they go around the

  473. country speaking at different schools on the dangers of drunk driving. And that can

  474. only happen through the wisdom of God. Because what does earthly wisdom say.

  475. Earthly wisdom says the jury and the judge says that you have every right to

  476. one the most severe punishment for this person because he has inflicted harm on you.

  477. But what does the wisdom of God say. The wisdom of God is

  478. saying to forgive and to move forward and to restore relationships. So Church,

  479. right now, in this situation, right you may be going through a pit

  480. or you might be in a peak right now. But regardless, right even

  481. if you are in a peak right now, you would most likely go into

  482. a pit sometime in the future. Because that's real life. That's real life.

  483. So let's coninue. Remember that when we are in the pit right and

  484. we are going through new challenges which we have never experienced before, challenge that

  485. seem too big, too impossible, stones or rocks or boulders that are immovable,

  486. That's when we need God's wisdom. So seek God's wisdom, obtain it

  487. by having the fear of the Lord in all our circumstances. Live with the

  488. fear of the Lord, and then exercising it by being fit equip ourselves with

  489. the knowledge of the Word of God. Ask God for revelation. God how

  490. understand us, look for understanding, and then with that understanding live it out

  491. so that we can have a transformed life and go from the pit to the

  492. peak and man so church, in whatever circumstances situations, Let's just let this

  493. word sink sink in, because I know this word has spoken to me and

  494. like I said earlier, right, this is my devotion, this is this

  495. is real life for me. This is real life for me, and I

  496. know I need it to go through my next pit and to my next so

  497. that I can reach my next peak. We hope you've been blessed by this

  498. message. For more information on our church, please visit aschurch dot org.
