  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. I just got this message only because doing the

  3. devotion, my devotion, I was just reading the word of Galicians, and

  4. I thought I just kept to my mind the scripture that says that if you

  5. live in the spirit, therefore you're also walking in And you know that in

  6. life is not always a straight road in life. Is never a straight road

  7. in life. It is never never turn out the way we want it to

  8. be. And when things don't turn out the way we want it to be,

  9. sometimes you get very frustrated, very angry, very agitated. I'm not

  10. sure what you go to. Maybe you say, okay, you know,

  11. I'm used to it, you know, and my life has was like you

  12. know, never never a straight line. So it happened to me just you

  13. know, with the journey of moving off from the village, right moving off

  14. from our current venue to another place. One day pass it just look at

  15. me and just you know, passes very good. But just want to let

  16. you know our pastor see the past, foe the past. The past is

  17. very good at empowerment, very good. Lo look at you, hey,

  18. would you like tack it up and you know, do I have to say

  19. no the past wana So anyway, so would you just help me to oh

  20. see the whole move in case y'all didn't know, like you know something,

  21. you're new to our church. We saw the announcement just now, right was

  22. DVCC. Well it's about thirty thousand scraphit close to thirty thousands graphic. We

  23. are moving into like a like a twenty thousand scraffe but separate floors, right,

  24. and we are squeezing everything, everything for the past nine years into a

  25. much smaller unit. So if we ever move house before, you know how

  26. stressful it is. Most times you move from smaller to bigger place to la

  27. hallelujah. Right, if ever decided to downsize your place from a bigger place

  28. or smaller place, the nie years of accumulation, you understand what I mean,

  29. nine years of couple accumulation, nine years of with all props accumulation,

  30. nine years worth of sound system accumulation. We say, one day we use

  31. it again. One day we will you can use, don't choose, you

  32. can use, you'll keep it one day we'll need it one So it is

  33. very stressful really to move everything, So past ask me, okare could you

  34. help me to oversee the project? Okay, see, no problem. So

  35. only yesterday we kick into gear no because the school is coming in and made

  36. the teen uh to the place and we have to get the place reading by

  37. May tenth. So study work tomorrow and we are trading four our ship.

  38. Finally, I have to manage the different stakeholders, the school stakeholders and the

  39. stakeholders I'm saving ship with two. I'm like, wow, I wish really

  40. that we have extra space, but we don't have. I guess God has

  41. a plan on really and every day. So anyway, if so, it

  42. so in our mind. It's one thought process, but execution is another thought.

  43. So which leads me to the scripture of those who live in the spirit

  44. also walking in. So there are days, friends, I want to let

  45. you know whereby dealing with different stakeholders can be very challenging, very frustrating,

  46. like, ah, don't you understand my point? And after half an hour

  47. conversations you don't understand? You go like, you don't move? Also,

  48. can you see what die? You move? Also you get samis you also

  49. die? So leads me to this scripture? Right, So therefore if you

  50. have a Bible. My title miss message walked the top, walk the talk.

  51. Okay, you know, Okay, I'm so sorry for this such cheesy

  52. title. Okay, I'm not very good, Titus. This is my second

  53. attime in my entire fifteen years of preaching coming out with titles. So I've

  54. never had title for my message. And so anyway, it normally comes up

  55. on our devotion and come up with my challenges in life. All right,

  56. So Romans Chapter eight worse one. Romans, it was what you know this

  57. scripture. I think Rachelle spoke about this scripture, so Romans it was one.

  58. Now, therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

  59. Amen. So therefore there's no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

  60. who do not walk according to the flesh, A man who do not walk

  61. according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. I want to solve

  62. with this scripture because sometimes in our journey of a Christian faith, we feel

  63. that we're supposed to do something, but we don't do it when you're pressured,

  64. I know, when you're pressured. Sometimes were always default to the quickest

  65. and easiest way to find a solution so we can get out from the pressure.

  66. Sometimes it's good decision, but most times it is bad decisions. If

  67. we ever reflect on some of the decision you make, I wish that I

  68. did not say certain takes raise my voice, make a certain decisions that caused

  69. you to be like ah, man, I wish I could respond better.

  70. So I was in this position whereby uh, in this place whereby sandwich,

  71. and sometimes I go like, oh, maybe I could have handled that better

  72. a bit. So in the midst of everything, right, so today start

  73. our spo retreat, planning retreat, a plan mission retreat. Don't think retreat

  74. as you go to the beach and have so our meetings. Right comes from

  75. starts at night, m in the morning, finish about ten pm and night

  76. we lunch break and did a break. So it's about a twelve hour shift

  77. altogether. And in the midst of everything, you know, the the challenge

  78. is this that you got the deadline to me to move out from DBCC by

  79. May the Tief. We have to move everything out by May the Tief.

  80. So I told the Subjaya service. Really next week when you come to church

  81. on Sunday, don't be surprised. One side of the glass wall that we

  82. have is all plyw It's all ply woe because I have to remove certain things.

  83. I'm trying to save money, right, I remove the glass pander for

  84. one side, shift it over to the other side. So you understand what

  85. I'm trying to say, how difficult it is, all right. So anyway,

  86. so I will say the place whereby like, man, I wish I

  87. could have done something better. I wish I could responded better. So sometimes

  88. I felt, like, you know, having a title of a church elder

  89. and moving doing stuff like that is very hard, if you know I'm trying

  90. to say, because it's sometimes it's easier to do things if you do have

  91. a title because you school after you have to put So I'm so sorry if

  92. you're new to me. I'm just very honest with my sharing, all right.

  93. So some so something's very easy to do certain things because you love a

  94. title anyway, So I just want let me just share this with you.

  95. So therefore, there's no condemination for those who in Christ Jesus who don't walk

  96. into the flesh but the spirit. All right, The study point our Christian

  97. faith is Jesus come on the studying point of our Christian faith is Jesus.

  98. Many times is our journey. Friends, we actually can forget where our studying

  99. point is. I want to let you know, the very first day you

  100. accept the Christ, that is your studying point with Christ. The Bible says

  101. Roman was one. Now therefore there's no condemnation for those who are in Christ.

  102. So your studying point and my studying point is in Christ Jesus. You

  103. and I today, friends do not need to think like, oh, where

  104. is my studying point or where do I start? Where do I start my

  105. faith? Because as long as you are with Christ, you start your journey

  106. with God. And we make him our lord and our savior, your friends,

  107. So one day of accepting Jesus our life that most of us do.

  108. The other part is that we have to make him our lord and savior.

  109. And the hardest part is became a lot and savior. Is that we need

  110. to come to the place of surrender. We need to come a place of

  111. human reality. Need to come to a place like Lord, have your way.

  112. So a couple of days ago, I was you know, we we

  113. normally plan out some of your plan out your day, like you wake up

  114. the morning you know what to do, you know what to do. You

  115. know a certain time you want to do this, after that, a certain

  116. time you want to do that. But when that schedule get messed up,

  117. when that plan get messed up, when you thought you're going out and heavy

  118. rain followed by a traffic jam followed by a road accident, and you are

  119. laid for appointment, right, and you and sort of you and you're you're

  120. you're just stuck right and you just we and I'm not sure have you ever

  121. come to this place? I wish if I wake up a bit earlier,

  122. I would have avoided all of this. If you stay even by, you

  123. go to the morning and you know the amazing traffic, right, it's very

  124. unpredictable. So the days we have to be at a church office before seven,

  125. I thought, I leave at six twenty, You get out there twenty

  126. minutes, you get there on time. But last Tuesday left my house at

  127. six twenty to forty minutes to get to work at six twenty in the morning,

  128. and I'm supposed to open the door for the school that day, and

  129. I was driving there in the traffic jam that yeah, look at my wife,

  130. see it'saw your fault. You have to put the blame on somebody,

  131. right see saw your fault. I told you wake up five minutes earlier radio.

  132. I woke up, And what I actually did wake up a five forty

  133. five with them for me fifty minutes to get ready. That look at my

  134. wife, you said you allum at five forty five, five fifty five,

  135. five fifty five fifty five six o'clock six or five six ten. I said,

  136. you have to choose you this day. Wish alarm you on the wake

  137. up. So I put the blame everything on her. Driving there was very

  138. angry, like, oh no, there's a deadline. I'm supposed to people

  139. depending on me to open the door. And right now I feel in my

  140. responsibilities. All your falls, like you know, messed up the whole morning,

  141. and stuff like my wife's I'm sorry. The next time I'm going to

  142. leave without you, you just drive your own car. You'll just drive two

  143. cars to work, and this stuff like that. We tend to actually forget

  144. our Christian life and the Christian war starts with God. No matter how we

  145. messed up, no matter how things don't go away, we are still if

  146. Christ Jesus. And that's where I wanted to bring us us today that walking

  147. with God changes us. Come on, walking with God changes us, because

  148. many times in our life if there is no change, if there is no

  149. change, then the scripture said, now therefore there's no condemnation for those in

  150. Christ Jesus. So your confidence comes from Christ. Your confidence come from transformation

  151. in Jesus. But if we don't allow God to walk in our life and

  152. work in our life, then there is no transformation. That's why God is

  153. very interested in your journey. Christian has never been about the destination of heaven

  154. only. It's always been about a journey with Him. And I truly believe

  155. that all of us here on the journey with Christ because you and I God

  156. wants to transform once, to change from the inside out. You know that

  157. if you don't get transformed, don't get changed, offense, you will miss

  158. out a lot of things that God's promises and go show you afterwards. All

  159. right, next part is that now therefore there's no condemntion for those who a

  160. in Christ Jesus. When we are walking in the spirit, come on,

  161. The condition is that we all we want no condemnation in Christ. There is

  162. a provision, a requirement that we have to walk closer with him. See,

  163. many times we want to experience the forgiveness, the blessing, but we

  164. do not want to walk with him, or maybe we attempted to walk away

  165. from him. Maybe the other thing that's a bit more glamorous than Jesus.

  166. And many times it presents ourselves in such a way whereby coming to church on

  167. Sunday. Now, no, I'm not saying this to make you come to

  168. on Sunday, right, it's your own personal choice. But coming to Jude

  169. Sunday is a commitment. Waking up on a Sunday morning when it's raining is

  170. a commitment for the very first out, sorry, for the one day in

  171. a week you can sleep in without any commitment Monday to maybe Saturday's read You

  172. have the week up very early ready, and Sunday is your only day to

  173. sleep in without anybody telling you anything. And you remember this committment to Jesus

  174. to come to church to worship people together as a family. In the preious

  175. chapter in the Romans, chapter seven, Paul was crying out in frustration about

  176. his righteousness about his place, asking who delivered him from the body of death.

  177. Paul was crying out God please help me, help me. I have

  178. the things I want to do I don't do. Come on, the things

  179. I want to do I don't do. How may have you been like Paul

  180. before? The things I want to do I don't do. Right, I

  181. always joke with my wife, you though I really want to buy you something,

  182. but summer. Rather, it's a thought that comes right. The things

  183. I want to do I don't do, like, for example, oh here

  184. God, things you want to do? Or come on? Like serving always

  185. here, like to serve one, come on always writer, the todd of

  186. serving God and actual serving God. There's a huge CHASMLA. Right, the

  187. things I do not want to do I do come on? And Paul right

  188. now is caught in the place. Have you been like Paul before the things

  189. that you do want to do? You do the things that you don't want

  190. to do, and you automatically just do on like you tell yourself, I

  191. will not get angry. I will not get angry. And the next thing,

  192. you know, poo. Another version if you come out right. And

  193. Paul was in a place he was frustrated. There was a conflict in Paul.

  194. His mind is thinking that I will not do this. I will worship

  195. God. But his body is in and it's in another mode, another operating

  196. system. And hence, therefore, won't you be in a place of frustration?

  197. Come on, won't you in the place of like conflict, in a

  198. place like is it all worthy? In a place whereby like, what's the

  199. point of following Christ? I made a commitment like say, for example,

  200. like you know, I will not I will not lose my anger. I'll

  201. not lose my anger. Only you find it very ten minutes later. Right,

  202. God, enable you to go, you to put you to a test,

  203. and only to find that you lost anger. After that you'll be very

  204. angry. And that's why Paul is right. Now, therefore there's no condemnation

  205. for those who in Christ Jesus. Therefore, friends, if we read properly

  206. right, there's no comdamination means there's no judging of guilty of wrong for those

  207. who are in Christ Jesus. Friends, Paul state must leave no room for

  208. a tiny bit of condemnation to sneak in the word no is one hundred percent.

  209. No, it's not fifty percent, it's not maybe it's not like oh,

  210. and many times, can I just encourage you and just to let you

  211. know that many times, even though we know this scripture, there's no combination,

  212. but we feel that we are not good enough. We feel that many

  213. times that we feel God. We disappointed God, and therefore we're not worthy.

  214. When we ask people to serve, why don't you serve? I'm not

  215. worthy enough. I'm not sure where the talk came from and where where it

  216. does come from. I want to encourage you. That's not from God.

  217. If you ever call yourself saying I'm not good enough, right, there's condemnation

  218. thoughts there, and maybe we should change the way we think. If next

  219. week, if you call yourself saying that, ah, the other person is

  220. better right your comparison, and that's not from God. I want to encourage

  221. you. Really, there's so much more that you can experience ive God.

  222. Next statement is going to be this transformation happens during the journey. Come on,

  223. transformation happens during the journey. No transformation has ever ever taken place When

  224. you're stationary. You cannot work out. When you're stationary, you can't.

  225. You have to live with like what you saw from the video just now.

  226. I truly believe that Daniel would be at least zero percent fat by year twenty

  227. twenty five. Right, you cannot transform by remaining stationary. You have to

  228. commit to the journey. And that's why friends, I was two weeks ago

  229. I had to work with a KAPA student. He was just asking me about

  230. life and this stuff like that. I was just saying that, you know,

  231. the church offers a very good place for you to for you to grow,

  232. because there's no other organization the world that gives you a place like like

  233. this. You have from infant all the way to superseniors in our church.

  234. The ability to serve them takes christ likeness. If we have never served different

  235. age good before, I want to let you know it is very challenging.

  236. I'm going to be for the nineties year serving kep US students. That the

  237. music preference is all different right now? So your music reference right, you

  238. can't say that No. Last time, no, I listened to a supply

  239. m hm m hm. And so you're like younger one's there was a supplier

  240. od right. Your your music references all different, right, Your examples are

  241. all different. No, when I was young, right, no ipet.

  242. But we imagine today it's like no I pet mes, no life. No

  243. internet means no life, no connectivity, nothing at all. You mean you

  244. actually buy magazine to read. There were days that's the only source of materials,

  245. magazines and newspapers, and now it's in the hand. So it's different,

  246. friends, right now. The pressure, the pressures are also very different.

  247. Back then, our pressure is like thinking that what we're going to study

  248. and maybe the fire girlfriend in secondary school and stuff like that. This is

  249. pressure to get social media likes, pressure to earn money, younger pressure to

  250. be a millionaire. Younger pressures are very different, but it's never easy,

  251. and God has given us the opportunity to transformation comes when we step out from

  252. our comfort zone. Come on, step out from our comfort zone and begin

  253. to ask God, would you help me, help me? Would you help

  254. me to serve? Would you help me to love? Stepping out in a

  255. different language group, it's also very different. So my wife served in the

  256. memory community and everyone in the mandary community, so I could understand Mandurin and

  257. speak Mandrine, only to in horror any shout to find out that I don't

  258. really speak Mandriine. And if I do speak my intunations all out they all

  259. love and the way I speak Manriine. So I told I told my wife,

  260. is okay, because I don't inspisee this culture. I don't despie the

  261. language. I love the language. But you know I will try my very

  262. best. So there was a China student two weeks ago set beside me,

  263. try to trying to communicate with me, and I looked at him, and

  264. they say, but it's all right. The thing is that would you allow

  265. God to bring you out from the comfort zone just because of a different language,

  266. different color, does mean that God cannot use you. Come on,

  267. you see, use the opportunity to transform you from the inside out. Come

  268. on. But many times it God, you don't understand. If I step

  269. up, I messed up. If I messed up, I feel so condemned.

  270. So I'd rather not be a burden. I rather not be a burden.

  271. Therefore I don't do so at least I don't disappoint people, and I

  272. don't feel condemned. Hear me right now. But the Bible says, therefore

  273. there's no condemnation for those who Christ Jesus right, do not walk in the

  274. flesh, but walk in the spirit. So walking is an action word.

  275. It's only for only way there we no by faith that won't feel condemned.

  276. It is we we walk with Christ. So when was the last time you

  277. allow God to stretch your faith and extend your hand? Say God, would

  278. you use me? Where was the last time would you allow God to say

  279. to you that, Hey, I may not know football, but I want

  280. to serve with Albert, I wur coach. Albert fantastic person, amazing guy.

  281. Six am in the morning he comes to DVCC to load the van with

  282. football and jersey and beep. He drives alone in the morning to the field

  283. unload everything, only to find out that they cancer his booking. How we

  284. need w Gunner because MPSG needs to use the field he got. He got

  285. all the gears and everything holding him. He's a big sized guy. Only

  286. the final that cannot use have to replan and restrategize. Never one time I

  287. heard Albert complain why me? I want to let you know, right,

  288. we have amazing people out there. Never one I say for me like this

  289. extra sake or one thousand people, but only one Albert loud there serving.

  290. I have not heard him complain. He's passion for this community, his passion

  291. for the ministry, passion to see what God can do to the lives of

  292. the people. Hasted him said that, no problem, God, if you

  293. can use anyone, use me, rain or shine. He's there. So

  294. when was the last of you? We allow God to use us in the

  295. journey. Friends, in that journey, In that journey, God can reaffirm

  296. his word to you. Sixty verse twenty four. Then Jesus said to the

  297. disciples, if anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself,

  298. take up his cross and follow me. Let him deny himself, take up

  299. the cross and follow me. So the prerequisite of following Jesus is humility.

  300. Come on, humility. Now, before you think that humility is about selling

  301. everything that you have, you know, no, it's all about that.

  302. It's really starts a posture of our hearts. Come on the posture of a

  303. heart. For example, all of us here got a special seat that we

  304. like to sit here, and you have I know, I've been just old

  305. enough. You have a particular location you like to see. What if the

  306. hose asked you whould you like to see in front? Come on, right

  307. now, imagine the host coming up to you. I'm so sorry. Right

  308. now, would you like to relocate and sit in front there's an empty empty

  309. see here next to doctor James. Whould you join him in front? Most

  310. time we say tequila. This is for the leaders on it's akuila. This

  311. is for the holier people. I'm not I would see this because these are

  312. the reasons that that told to me before. There was a time whereby our

  313. hose back then there was no empty seats in between. Its hardest to reach.

  314. So during worship, people come about how we're doing worship right, so

  315. empty season, so we a should be put in there. So doing worship.

  316. A guy was lifting up his hands, so the host but likely I

  317. said, I'm so sorry, So could you just go in a bit so

  318. I can news people can sit at the corner here or if not, you

  319. just come out let them see it's like not. The church partners said to

  320. the host, I worshiping God. I was having a connection worshiping God,

  321. and you disrupt the connection disrupted at the moment, seriously there was so the

  322. host was just sharing the story. The police chich partners are very and you

  323. are the red gum, you know very fears are very fears on worshiping lift

  324. up their hands, are and and and and just way so sorry. They

  325. need to go inside there. Wait until I finish worship. Friends, if

  326. anyone desires come on to come after me. See do deny himself? Come

  327. on, someone in the midst of the worship. We think liveable hands is

  328. the most important. We think that you know everything is no the first you

  329. deny yourself. It's not denying that I'm not I'm not pass not denying your

  330. name. It's not denying that your male or female knows all about that.

  331. It's the posture of your heart. It's a posture of your heart. Friends.

  332. Many times in our life, friends, we we think that we're already

  333. and chill, God puts us into the test. Come on, we think

  334. we are already, I do God put us into a test. I share

  335. this with two services, a ready two weeks ago, and I say that

  336. you know, just because we can eat doesn't mean our teeth is in good

  337. condition. Come on, just because you can put food the mouth can chill,

  338. we can function. We think that we're all right, only to discover

  339. that we got cavity building up. Come on, and when was the last

  340. time we saw identity? I wish I downloaded a sound of the instrument and

  341. played with your for at least thirty seconds. Know the drilling sound in the

  342. dentist one, I'm not you know during the waiting area that you wait for

  343. the dentists, right, so we don't like to hear this reeling sound is

  344. in it. I've not heard anybody. Although I love the drealling sound,

  345. you know I hear the sound. I'm so excited. I can't wait for

  346. it to to be my turn. I've not heard that. Have you seen

  347. the series that the dentists use. It's longer than usual one. And the

  348. funny thing is after they jet you out tell me say they say pain and

  349. not pain. So if you're that, please to give me a right.

  350. But just because just because we can function doesn't mean come on, doesn't mean

  351. you're all right. Just become become to church because the homes doesn't mean a

  352. heart. It's humber. God will always want to reveal because you know he

  353. loves us, come on, he loves you. To the Bible here says

  354. Matter six was trying to talk about we all desire to come after the lot.

  355. I really truly believe none of us say would say the elder, I

  356. don't desire to come after lot. You all desire what we all want to

  357. come closer to God one. We all want to want. But the pred

  358. here is that first of all, we need to deny ourselves. And there's

  359. no better community than the church to help us to understand what denying our self

  360. me and take up the cross. There is no better environment but the church

  361. setting the teachers what it is to take up the cross. When you when

  362. you if you're serving express, you're serving expressal. Friends, you ran to

  363. buy the food plate up nicely right? Taking that you can imagine right now

  364. when people eat your food radio say wow, so nice, the play thing

  365. like master chef, like they're so nice, the food eat wow, so

  366. good, only to get coming like well what you see one? Who buy

  367. one? And there you are serving no one knows that you pay the price.

  368. We can suport the money, making all the arrangements right or need to

  369. discover some of these these things. I've been there before. Friends, you're

  370. the only one paying the price, and you thought you're paying the price for

  371. God, only to get commands like that. Who choose the color for legacy?

  372. One? Right? So if you have a problem, I pray that

  373. you just kept the Lord. Please we will neon colors is better right,

  374. I don't know. But who chooses or who chooses come on? The environment

  375. of just reveals friends. When you start something reveals where our heart is.

  376. But after REVERI show, what do you do? Come on? You always

  377. have the choice that they say, hey, you got the kevity. You

  378. have a choice where they do treat it. A lot of the treat it.

  379. If you don't treat it, you have consequences. If you treat it,

  380. you feel paid. Either how farst you pay the price, pain now

  381. or pain later? You decide. So when God says take up the cross

  382. for deny himself, so didn I come on? It's not that easy to

  383. deny yourself with a smile. I've not seen anybody being the worst experienced humility

  384. with the small one, only because it's never easy, because it's part of

  385. us. Take up the cross is ways. Do you know? If you

  386. carry anything hevy, it changes the way you walk. If you carry anything

  387. hevy, it changes the way you walk. To change the way we walk

  388. is one of the hardest. Have you tried relearning how to swim? Have

  389. you tried relearning how to swim? It's one of the hardest. I find

  390. one of the hardest thing ever I was saw how to see when I was

  391. young, and when my mom said, since I was such a class sized

  392. boy when I was young, learn how to swim, I really infuriated complex

  393. back that it was so fat. My father would tell the tailor, I

  394. have to make my pants when I was stand the tree because I couldn't find

  395. pants outside there. They really make pants that my father would tell the tailor

  396. that she pustiched them are because every time he scored the tear, the pants

  397. will tear. And at times when my pants tore right, I have to

  398. tell the teacher, please call my mom bring extra pants to me. I'll

  399. be hiding inside the toilet because people seema so the character. So I thought

  400. I can swim until my wife saw me swimming. Yeah. I want to

  401. let you know your strokes are all wrong. That look at my wife,

  402. Dear, don't be jealous. Don't be jealous because you know I can swim

  403. better than you. No, I assume twenty leaves swimming, you only do

  404. ten. I say, yeah, I think you counted wrongly. Do you

  405. know how hard this is? The really in your strokes? You say,

  406. why don't you buy a peedal board? Every learn how to kick so I

  407. did I follow my wife there being a good housband, I follow my wife

  408. and wife so husband sometimes okay, take the humber, only to discover that

  409. it's not the humility part that God wants me to learn. I went to

  410. the swimming pool one day, I told my pallebot next to me was a

  411. six year old girl with a pedal bot. He's a full gone a man

  412. here with a pedal board. Next to me was a six year old girl

  413. with a pedalbot. She was also learning how to kick. I'm like,

  414. forget it, forget it, and so I can sweep get to the other

  415. and touched the end of the pool. And God was asking me, how

  416. hot is it for you to pick up the pedal board and swim. That's

  417. why real learning how the world is one of the hardest things. Although it's

  418. very simple now in our mind, it is actually one of the hardest thing.

  419. Think about it, so it changes. Come on, James chapter four,

  420. ward, sever is not the scriptures down on the screen. But therefore

  421. something to go, resist devil, come on, resist there were humility resists

  422. never and he will flee from you. We all we we we we need

  423. to submit. We want to draw near to God. There's a humanly part

  424. of us. If you want to work with Christ, experience all that He

  425. has for you. You and I need to hummer yourself right, and to

  426. ask what them do? I finish the service here. I'm so sorry I

  427. have not come here very long. Then the clock. I just wanted to

  428. say this, right. I was at XBJ last week. I was supposed

  429. to the XBU. I was given forty five minutes. I told the PC,

  430. I said, don't worry. The last time I follow your advice,

  431. I've reached bundle of Tama. Right. They were in the last song.

  432. So I sat down there for another half an hour. I say it,

  433. forget it. Okay, this time I'm going to go by bye, by

  434. the spirit, and I end when I want to end and tell they just

  435. got deal worshiping the Lord. So I'll tell you to finish the service.

  436. So therefore, Jesus model of transformation comes from discipleship. Come on, Jesus

  437. model of transformation come from discipleship. You cannot transform without discipleship. And come

  438. on, we all want transformation, we all want to change. You all

  439. want to be better, we want to be more like Christ. But without

  440. the words commit commitment to disciple ship very hard to change, very hard.

  441. When was the last time we say that we want to lose certain way every

  442. beginning of a year, only to mess up after second week because you never

  443. apply yourself to discipleship. Someone holding us accountable, bring ourselves oder subberd.

  444. Hey, if we've ever been in the gym, coach Albert, you would

  445. definitely change right this albout here? Okay, this this coach Albert here,

  446. you would change. Have we seen Albert ten years to go on? He

  447. was as skinny as me, But I've seen how he worked with the guys.

  448. Guys, this is your set. You have to do this. And

  449. one time there was a committee boy working out of the gym and he was

  450. doing something like he was supposed to do something like that, but he was

  451. just doing something like that and Albut was looking at him. But you're doing

  452. all wrong. Do it again, and that's what discipleship is. Friends.

  453. Come on, we want transformation, we want blessing, we want to explain

  454. the Kingdom of God. Right, we want all of that, But I

  455. don't want to work. What's really matter of, friends, Jesus' model of

  456. transformation has always been discipleship. The road to Amaya's two guys feelings so so

  457. burdened, this courage walking away from Jerusalem because Jesus was crucified across by in

  458. the journey. Jesus was walking with them. Discipleship happened. Friends, when

  459. you go on the journey with Christ? When was last time? Friends?

  460. You say that you may tell me that I tried discipleship before. It didn't

  461. work. You know, my leader took advantage of me and keep telling me

  462. the sephony, keep telling me do this, do that first, you do

  463. things unto the Lord. I've been doing church extra for almost twenty four years.

  464. Really, I want to let you know. Yes, I have been

  465. discouraged many times, resigned a few times to pass not worthy, to give

  466. up my life just to serve a bunch of people that that never say thank

  467. you, They never say you know the where that they never appreciate all that

  468. you do. It's hard, It's it is hard. Can I just say

  469. this, it's hard to sell for community. Sometimes you like you vacuum the

  470. you vacuum the floor after church service, right, only discoult that someone just

  471. decided to throw trash after that, or the very simpla you vacuum it's hard,

  472. friends, it is hard. Can I just admitted it's hard. But

  473. first, we don't do things friends, just because we are scheduled asked to.

  474. Somebody do things for the Lord and some of God has his ways really

  475. to to develop us on through every disappointment, every discouragement, every where,

  476. every discouragement back then we use the physical keys and locks. One of the

  477. worst duties to ever do in church is to hold the keys for the church.

  478. The worst just I'll be honest, because after you lock up the church

  479. really right you're driving back, you get a phone call Elder, I'm so

  480. sorry. I left my hand back, hand back with my wallet, with

  481. my handphone in church out of the way. Are you right now? Can

  482. turn back and not open the church? We finished service at one pm that

  483. back in those days, I got a phone quite close to six pm.

  484. I really wonder why does it take five hours really to realize you have your

  485. handbag, your phone, and your wallet with you. I say, if

  486. you can so WI five hours, I'm sure you can WI FI eighty four

  487. hours with it. But because you hold the keys right then wherever you are,

  488. you have to make changes the two just to come back and to open

  489. up the place for them to take the stuff and lock up the place.

  490. But then again to the kind that leave, thank you so much to go

  491. along the way, And you go like Lord, why me? Why keys?

  492. So these days because the law has enabled me to always see a lot

  493. of the projects, I change everything to digit a lot already the one case,

  494. no problem. Let me give you the code, you open up your

  495. lock up. But once share this to you only because there are moments and

  496. times whereby disappointed discouragement happens. But true discipleship comes when we allow God to

  497. work through our hearts. Where was last time we overcome discouragement with a positive

  498. respond? Like Christ? Was Jesus? Was Jesus disappointed? Of course?

  499. I think that you know everybody left him? He did so much with everybody.

  500. I think he did with that, He rested so much his own disciples

  501. left him. Maybe I guess there has to be a teacher. I've been

  502. with you for so long, but he still loves all the way to the

  503. cross. Next point is going to be walking with God reminds us that we

  504. have a different set of values. Walking with God reminds us that we have

  505. a different set of values. The Bible says, therefore down there condemnation for

  506. those two Christs who do for that when we do not walk in the flesh.

  507. When we do not walk in the flesh, Romans was five says,

  508. for those who live according to the flesh, set their mind come on or

  509. the things of the flesh. But those who live according to the spirit,

  510. said the things of the spirit. So if you want according to the flesh,

  511. you set your mind towards the flesh. First, Do not think the

  512. flesh is always like you know, all the evil and bad stuff that it's

  513. very off your what when we talk about the flesh, you always say that,

  514. yeah, you're right, older, you know, phunication, all this

  515. bad stuff. Sometimes the flesh can also means the way we respond that's not

  516. christ Like. When we're supposed to do good, but we don't do good.

  517. We're supposed to excess patient. But getting even is always better than forgiving.

  518. You know that, David, When David, David King, David cut

  519. off the piece of cloth from Saul, he felt so bad. Okay,

  520. first ce except eighteen or nineteen somewhere around there, cut off a piece of

  521. cloth. Now he felt bad. When I was reading that thing in my

  522. devotion, and God asked me, have you done things like that? Maybe

  523. not cutting a piece of cloth from your cliquler, I don't go to my

  524. clique place. There they left the jacket. That just cut off the jacket.

  525. It's not about cutting your colique jacket. But have you done this?

  526. Said the mean in other words, just to get even, just to show

  527. that you can if you want to, like, for example, you can

  528. send the email earlier, but but firstly, just way the bit, wait

  529. a bit longer, be whole bit, for example, like sometimes after me

  530. you split the bill right and you and someone paid first, and you're supposed

  531. to transfer money, but you don't transfer Auntie, you get the first a

  532. guys, I remember to transfer the lunch money. Okay, you wait until

  533. you get maybe second notice, only you transfer. I know, I'm sure

  534. how many of us we'll be like David Feler, I've seen first is only

  535. a piece of cloth, not even cutting. Now if you cut sauce,

  536. had I understand, Okay, you're touching my right, but this is sauce

  537. clothes. And David felt so bad, and God spoke to me. Have

  538. you ever I said God, I have that I've done many times? Right,

  539. you give work to so previous before I had the full time to get

  540. even my clique. So I give work put under the whole power other people

  541. that I put on your table Ma, because you want to get even MA,

  542. because you will hurt MA. Friends, David, you must understand David,

  543. he was living in a palace, everything provided for to a cave.

  544. One day he has servant giving him food. Next day he has to eat

  545. whever he could find. A cave. He was given bottles of mineral water.

  546. Now he actually had mineral waters are from the cave, dripping from the

  547. ceiling. He had toilet that works. One day he has to do his

  548. big business at the back of the cave. You must understand the transition of

  549. a person. If you were like David, that huge transition being chased by

  550. your employer, King saw true a spear and David, maybe some of you

  551. have in your midst of your anger chow a stapler you're cillicking before. Maybe,

  552. but David, friends experienced that gives him every right to get even.

  553. Come on, give me every right. The way is that I wanted to

  554. just let let salt taste of what I've experienced by cutting a piece of claw.

  555. Friends, David felt remorse, felt that he had seen against God,

  556. and God spoke to me. You know, have I ever been in a

  557. place whereby getting even or letting your friends know that what you event through the

  558. pain they put you through because it's your right, friends, really, because

  559. you have a different set of values, because you don't want a corndity to

  560. the flesh. The flesh is okay out because you will hurt. You can

  561. hurt back the other person, hurt you self defense. You were taking what

  562. is okay take So Romans says we if for those who live for cornity the

  563. flesh set the mind on the things of the flesh, but those litho conunity

  564. of the spirit said the things of the spirit Condition five nineteen to twenty one.

  565. Friends reviews The motivation of Flesh yourself. You have to read the whole,

  566. the whole descripture of the books of the flesh. But the motivation of

  567. the wooks of the flesh itself come on the motivation of the work of flesh

  568. itself. You get to enjoy things she can't get even. It's you,

  569. all about you, friends, and that's why Jesus came the opposite way.

  570. We are not here to be served. Here to serve. And that's why

  571. serving helps us the words understanding. Sometimes our flesh. Come on, serve

  572. me, serve me, you come, become the church. I'm not talking

  573. about EXCOT the company. I'm talking about the church plants. You come to

  574. church plan there you go. Serve me. Why now was saying my favorite

  575. song? Serve me? Why not give you my favorite meal? Serve me?

  576. Why why it's always Regent Park region cack? Why cannot be secret recipe?

  577. Serve me kids, sorry skin, serve me ex kids, Serve me

  578. no excuse today, Well I'm gonna do my chew it serve me. Come

  579. on, come on, EXCT the community, come on self, the works

  580. of flesh. It always serve me. No a con serve me. When

  581. our church had a blackout doing a combined service, combined service, blackout,

  582. no instrument, no sound system, no likes, not that it was pitch

  583. darkness. We won't try to recognize Earth Day, Save Earth. It's enough

  584. that sic TV we would it happened that this trip right for the very first

  585. that we use a place for almost nine years. Are never chip on the

  586. Sunday, never chip on a Sunday for nine years, and so happened that

  587. very Sunday. The combined service is a chip. I see people walking out

  588. already for church. Oh just too dark, too dark, cannot see anything

  589. I say. I thought you always wanted to doubt turn off the lights.

  590. Man, do we worship the likes of offlow skidding? Too dark? Cannot

  591. I don't know how to sing? Let me explain the ready man. See

  592. we explained to you already a lot of songs right now you cannot remember right.

  593. So that's why I'm always good to remember some older songs, because all

  594. the songs are easier to remember. Come on, how we obviously remember as

  595. the dear pended after the water mm hmm, give thanks you remember that?

  596. So it's always good to remember that all the sous that we can sing and

  597. worship got no metal, but that the environment is. But when the environment

  598. is against you, friends against you, your flash is saying that this environment

  599. is no good, This environment is no good. First, I'm not asking

  600. us to be an abusive place and stuff like that. But someone got allowed

  601. things to happen. Can I just say, allow things to happen in the

  602. midst of your when you are in the midst of rushing for everything, allow

  603. things to happen. And that's where we have to ask ourself. Is the

  604. flesh taking over whatnot? You get angry, you get impatience holding everybody?

  605. Would you allow God to just work with you in you because walking in the

  606. spirit, friends, we have a different set of values. Finally, it's

  607. going to be this. Let's just give you one more last point. Walking

  608. the spirit brings freedom and life. Walking the spirits give freedom and life.

  609. Just I did need find more means with you guys? All right, so

  610. sorry Gray four. For those who are in Christ have crucified the flesh with

  611. this passion and designs. Come on, how are you're in Christ? The

  612. Bible says that you have crucified your flesh? How do you cursifide your own?

  613. Flash? Friends, when you have only a pair of hands, you

  614. kneel one hand, who's going new one more hand for you? Come on?

  615. Image? Do you have to imagine right now with me? Okay?

  616. If you're a cross, you can nail your old feet all right? Technically

  617. can knew one side of your body? Like you got one more loose arms,

  618. one more loose hands. Who's gonna knee that someone else? Who your

  619. chish partner? The friends. Please look at your Come on, let me.

  620. You deserve to be nail. Come on, let me help you.

  621. No first, no, someone God allowed things to happen. Friends to kneel

  622. one more so that remembered for those of your whole in Christ have crucified the

  623. flesh, passion and desires. Friends, the slash it's not just about craving

  624. about food, but own passion. I won't desire own self interest. So

  625. glacious of the five verse twenty five. My last scripture, if you walk

  626. in the spirit, let if you live in the spirit, let also walk

  627. in it. This is how I'm going to end. Living in the spirit

  628. means just being aware of the Holy Spirit, being aware, being aware,

  629. being aware. I think many times our life we we we You know,

  630. when you're in the midst of pressure, we forget one. We forget one,

  631. in the midst of pressure, we forget true story. Just want to

  632. share this to you. So my house keys, my house keys is not

  633. one of two keys, though I like the bundle. My house case in

  634. the one big bunch on so it's about like ten keys altogether. My office

  635. house kiss cokis all put together. So one key is Sometimes you lose the

  636. house keys my right, so mine is a huge bunder, huge bunder every

  637. a huge clip big so you drop. Also you can hear it. So

  638. one day I was rushing, rushing, helping pass away some stuff, rushing,

  639. so my wife was with me, rushing everything right, I couldn't find

  640. my kid, my house key for almost five days. I told my wife,

  641. I've now lost things before like that. I only lost one very important

  642. to day, her wedding ringer. I see all these early days. You

  643. can give it away, don't it. Let me buy you some other things.

  644. It's more important, like clothes anyway. Yeah, So I couldn't find

  645. for five days looking. I thought I left it at home. I went

  646. back. I searched a whole house, couldn't find it. I'm in the

  647. midst of house repair house, your innovation, and my stuff was everywhere.

  648. So I'm living technically out from my bedroom and only lot. My bedroom.

  649. My living room is all my brown bar and stuff like that. So doing

  650. all that means of repair, after like staying there for almost like nineteen years

  651. or fourteen years, really finally save no money to repair some things. But

  652. five days couldn't couldn't find out. I searched an face. I searched the

  653. car. I researched the car. I researched the office, couldn't five for

  654. five days, five days, couldn't find And I thought to myself, that's

  655. one big bunch of keys missing. Only the final friends. My wife kept

  656. it for me. She put in the midst of that business, of that

  657. changing of cars, helping. She put inside her another back. She was

  658. carrying them back to work every other day. It's not one, one,

  659. two keys. I understand, this is a huge bunch of keys, so

  660. I should be. I've got at least fifteen keys there lima blast keys there

  661. with a huge clip, huge clip. The question is, I said,

  662. why, why aren't you aware? You got the key in your back?

  663. And just a few days before she was lecturing me, see, I told

  664. you, really, you're getting old. You're forgetting some stuff right now this

  665. scripture. Then God spoke to me, not now about my wife. So

  666. I spoke to me right about just being aware of the spirit. If you

  667. live in the spirit, I think many times, right in the midst of

  668. your business and rushing right, are you aware do you have the Holy Spirit?

  669. Do you have the Holy Spirit within you or not? Are you aware

  670. that you have the Holy The Bible says the Holy Spirit. I help,

  671. But are you aware that you have the Holy Spirit? Because sometimes you can

  672. carry stuff? Right now, I'll tell you my wife, how come you

  673. know? But it's very deep love the pocket, very deep, very deep

  674. the pocket. I han't been very deep, but I say, my keys.

  675. When he shakes, it creates a lot of noise. Are you aware

  676. that we have the Holy Spirit? The midst of the rush? Because if

  677. you're not aware, you know what will happen. We always look to what

  678. we have physically when your connection everything else. Now to say that is wrong,

  679. I'm not saying this, but there's something better the Holy Spirit. There's

  680. something better the Holy Spirit. Maybe you're aware of the Holy Spirit. So

  681. therefore the next the next psture of the comput say, therefore walk in the

  682. spirit. Awareness is one thing, all of a see it. Right now,

  683. we're aware that we are believers, we are Christian, right, we

  684. are aware, we are aware, we know, we know, we know.

  685. The second part is this that to align, come on to align.

  686. Do you know how hard is it to walk if we don't align? For

  687. example, after church, right now, someone say let's go to a place

  688. to eat. If you don't align with the destination, you go somewhere else,

  689. you go back home. You don't even people people call you only Oh

  690. I didn't know. See aligned first awareness is one thing. Oh ovious.

  691. Yeah, yes, elder, I know, I know we have the Holy

  692. Spirit, but alignment, friends, alignment when God speaks to you. I

  693. was rushing yesterday. So we have very very very busy period. So sometimes

  694. we got five thirty in the morning, leave the house at six fift,

  695. didn't get to work, just a lot thing to rush. Hm. So

  696. yesterday was one of those crazy days. Food day for me. So I

  697. really hate sorry the word. I really hate it when my my wife's mess

  698. up my timing. She knows this. I really really hate it because the

  699. type of guy that you say, sixty thy leave the house, sixty tea

  700. must leave the house. The kind of the kind of guy my mom said,

  701. he I was growing up, you myself becomes secrety up because you like

  702. to be punctual. You first open the door and everything like that. Durhen

  703. I was very young anyway, So yesterday someone's leave the house at eight o

  704. five. My wife said, I meanings onima, but by interne they messed

  705. up. Really, they get out to Kasas Highay, I'll believer Cassas Highways.

  706. It started to rain. You know when it rains, Friends, every

  707. traffic slows down drastically. One no only way God accident war. So I

  708. can imagine you, really, I'm late to do my my for my first,

  709. for my first ut I'm late? You really that push everything else?

  710. Push everything else? Then God just reminds me of this scripture. This scripture

  711. is so real to be friends. Yes, I know that you have the

  712. Holy Spirit? Would you allow me to lead you in the midst of the

  713. chaos? Not because life has never been about a straight line that we planned

  714. and we walk in it. When you know, no matter how much your

  715. plan, it's very hard to be on the straight line because life always shows

  716. you a curveball mixed changes. But when the moment comes, then God reminds

  717. me it is not about your connections or your physical You have the Holy Spirit

  718. within you. Would you ask him for wisdom? Would you ask him for

  719. guidance in the midst of the pressure, would you ask him to lead you?

  720. God, I just want to surrender this imperfection right now, it's beyond

  721. my control. I only got this one scripture. Really, if you live

  722. in the spirit, therefore walking it. That's why I say walk the talk

  723. because I think a lot of us here we know the Christian jargon. Really,

  724. but when life really, you know, when the robber bes, when

  725. life really happens. I want to encourage you. The Holy Spirit is there

  726. to lead you, to guide you, to show you, to reveal God's

  727. truth to you, God's plan for you to clear you know, there's no

  728. more condemnation for those who in Christ. Jesus to give you confidence when you

  729. do your lowest point in your life. First, it's a close right now.

  730. I just want to pray for all over. Sorry for taking up extra

  731. time, apologies for it. But many times in our journey, in our

  732. life, friends, you're driving out from your house only to find that you

  733. already know what you're going to face. The pressures are really there's very real,

  734. and we go like, how am I going to manage this? Friends?

  735. You have the Holy Spirit? Would you align yourself to the Holy Spirit?

  736. Would you align your heart to God? It takes humilities to God.

  737. Would you help me? We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
