  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day today. I'm going to continue on what I shared

  3. with you last month regarding God's plan. And I'm sure you will know that

  4. our team for this year in our church is that all may know a man

  5. that all may know, and is in relation to evangelism or letting others know

  6. about the good news about Jesus Christ. Amen. And so I shared with

  7. you one month ago when I when I think it was one month ago when

  8. I when I spoke, I shared with you about God's plan. I'm just

  9. gonna give you a quick summary in like one minute, okay, and I'm

  10. going to move on to the next part. So I shared with you about

  11. God's plan. Three parts of God's plan. One was God's plan for his

  12. kingdom. Okay, God wanted okay, the past tens. God wanted and

  13. still once okay present tense to have his kingdom here on earth as it is

  14. in heaven. Somebody say, Amen, that is God's king. That's God's

  15. plan for his kingdom, that his kingdom will be established here on earth.

  16. And without a plan, there would have been no man. Okay, without

  17. God having a plan to establish his kingdom here on earth. You and I

  18. wouldn't exist, Okay. Without a plan, there would have been no man.

  19. And so man was part of the plan. Okay, you and I,

  20. we were part of the plan to establish his kingdom here on earth.

  21. Somebody say, amen, So that was God's kingdom. God, God's plan

  22. for his kingdom. And after that shed with you. God's plan for men.

  23. Okay. God's plan for men, and his plan for men was simple.

  24. When he created the enemy if he told them to populate the earth,

  25. to be fruitful and multiply, and he told them to have dominion and rule

  26. over the earth, over everything on the face of the earth. Man was

  27. supposed to have the dominion over it, to rule the earth. A man

  28. there was found in Genesis. Can go back to the Genesis, I think

  29. chapter one, you will find it that the creation of the world and man,

  30. God's planned for man was also a man will reflect his image and his

  31. glory. So I told you that it's like as though God is looking down

  32. on earth and looking at the mirror, right, and man was supposed to

  33. reflect his image and his glory. In fact, each and everyone of us,

  34. the Bible says that man was created in the image of God. You

  35. can find it in Genesis, in Genesis chapter one a man. So God

  36. made us man and female in the image of God. Okay, so that

  37. was God's plan for men. And I also shared with you the third one,

  38. which is God's plan for redemption. So even though Adam, when they

  39. first were created in the garden, everything was perfect, it was was cool.

  40. God said, it was good. In fact, it was very good.

  41. God said, However, man failed. Man failed of you know,

  42. God said, you can eat off every fruit and every tree in this garden

  43. except of this one tree, the knowledge of good and evil. And you

  44. know the story we can read in Genesis. Satan came and tempted Eve,

  45. and of course Adam was as well, ate the fruit, both of and

  46. I ate the fruit. And you know they failed. And because of that,

  47. sin entered the world, and we were separated from God. Because sin

  48. separates man from God and man I mean because because God cannot tell you sin,

  49. and so sin separated us from God. And so we needed a savior.

  50. We needed a savior. And how many have we know that redemption was

  51. part of God's plan. He had a plan from the from from the start

  52. it was not a mistake. God didn't wake come and say, oh,

  53. no, man failed, I need now, I need a plan. Be

  54. Jesus was already in a plan in plenty. God knew what was gonna come.

  55. So he had a plan for redemption. And so I was just just

  56. gonna read one scripture to you Romans five nineteen says for us, by one

  57. man's this obedience, many were made seen us. So also by one man

  58. capital m this is Jesus, one man's obedience, many will be made righteous.

  59. So God had a plan for redemption. And because Jesus came, he

  60. died on the cross, and he rose again, we can be reconciled.

  61. We've got directly. The veil was torn into two from the top to the

  62. bottom. And so now we have direct access to God. Amen, are

  63. you glad for that? We have direct access to the lot. Today we

  64. can pray directly directly to him and he listens to us praise the Lord.

  65. And so there was God's plan. There was God's plan. So today I'm

  66. gonna move on to the next p which is purpose. Purpose. Okay,

  67. But I thought about it, I prayed about it, and I realized,

  68. as men for us to find our purpose. There's no better way to find

  69. our purpose than to find it in what Jesus did when he was on earth.

  70. There's no better example, because Jesus was a perfect example when he walked

  71. the earth. Because Jesus was one hundred percent men, okay, and of

  72. course he was one hundred percent God as well when he walked the earth.

  73. So I thought about it, and I'm like, sure, why not we

  74. talk Why not let's talk about Jesus. Let's see what Jesus did on the

  75. earth and the purpose in which he came, and likewise we can learn from

  76. him. Is that okay? So I'm gonna present to you six points of

  77. why Jesus came, or I should say, the purpose in which Jesus came

  78. on earth and what we can learn from that as well. So Number one,

  79. Jesus came to do the will of the Father. How many of you

  80. know that Jesus came to do the will of the Father. In fact,

  81. Jesus's primary mission on earth was to fulfill the will of his father in heaven.

  82. There was his primary mission. Everything else that he did was connected to

  83. the will of the Father. So this is the most important. His primary

  84. mission was to fulfill the will of the Father. In fact, if you

  85. read the New Testament, you'll find many, many times that Jesus repeatedly said

  86. that I have come to do the will of the Father. Okay, I'm

  87. going to show it to you in a while. Okay. From his earthly

  88. ministry to his entire life on earth, he was always about the father's business.

  89. Okay. Uh. You know the story. When you know the Passover,

  90. they will go to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover. And when Mary the

  91. mother of Jesus, and Joseph, the father of Jesus, they were on

  92. their way back home, you know, from Jerusalem, and they thought that

  93. Jesus was among his relatives or among the friends. And they walked and walked

  94. and walked and realized that he's missing. He was not with them such is

  95. relatives, and could not find him. And then he went back to Jerusalem

  96. and found Jesus at the temple. Right, and what do you say,

  97. I must be about my father's business, he asked the part did she not

  98. know? Did she not know that I must be about my father's business.

  99. Let me give another example, when Jesus met the Samaritan woman by the well,

  100. you know the story when Jesus met the Samaritan woman by the well.

  101. You know, the disciples later on came and saw him, and they asked

  102. Jesus. You know, they asked among themselves, has anyone brought Jesus food

  103. to eat? You know? And they asked Jesus to eat. And Jesus

  104. responded in John chapter four, verse thirty four. Okay, John chapter four,

  105. wards thirty four, he said, my food is to do the will

  106. of him who sent me, and to finish his work. Wow, my

  107. food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his

  108. work. So very clearly we can see that Jesus came on earth was to

  109. fulfill the will of the Father. He was obedient to the will of the

  110. Father. Join chapter six, verse thirty eight to forty. If you have

  111. a Bible, why not we all turned to John chapter six, verse thirty

  112. eight to forty. Now I'm gonna leaders to quiet number of scriptures today because

  113. we are learning from the life of Jesus. So I you know, we're

  114. gonna turn to a lot of New Testament scriptures a lot. Okay, So

  115. stay with me. If you have a Bibles, try to turn to the

  116. scripture and I will pause to give you some time to turn if I can.

  117. Okay, So join chapter sixth, verse to the eight. For I

  118. have come down from heaven not to do my own will, but the will

  119. of him who sent me. This is the will of the Father who sent

  120. me, that of all he has given me, I should lose nothing,

  121. but should raise it up in the last day. And this is the will

  122. of him who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in

  123. him may have everlasting life. And I will raise Moam at the last day.

  124. So here you can see so many times he was referring to the will

  125. of the Father who sent him here on earth. And he has came up

  126. from heaven to do the will, not his own will, but the will

  127. of the Father who sent him. And what is the will of God?

  128. Tewod Peter three verse nine says two Peter three verse nine. The Lord is

  129. not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering

  130. towards us, not willing that any should perish, but all should come to

  131. repentance. It is God's desire and his will that none should perish, and

  132. that all should come to repentance. And that is why Jesus came. He

  133. came to fulfill the will of the Father and to save as many as possible,

  134. to spread the good news, to show us an example of how we

  135. you and I ought to live. Amen. So let me draw a contrary,

  136. you know, or to learn an example from Jesus sees, Jesus came

  137. to earth to do the will of the Father. You and I we are

  138. here on earth. We also ought to do the will of the Father.

  139. Amen. And that is why when Jesus taught the disciples how to pray the

  140. Lord's prayer, he said, our Father in heaven hellood, be your name,

  141. your Kingdom. Come. Your will be done on earth as it is

  142. in heaven. Amen. He thought his disciples to pray that. And when

  143. you and I pray that, we are basically asking God for his will to

  144. be done. Here on earth, we are basically asking God for his will

  145. a man, not our will, but his will to be done. And

  146. his will is that none should perish. So you and I have a part

  147. to play. We have a part to play in this First John chapter two,

  148. verse fifteen to seventeen. First John chapter two, verse fifteen to seventeen.

  149. He says, do not love the world or the things in the world.

  150. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in

  151. him. For all that is in the world, the loss of the flesh,

  152. the loss of their eyes, and the pride of life is not of

  153. the Father, but is of the world. And the world is passing away

  154. and the loss of it. But he who does the will of God abides

  155. forever. Amen. So if you want to bide forever, you want to

  156. find success in all that we do. May I suggest to us do the

  157. will of the Father. Do the will of the Father. Ask God,

  158. Lord, what is your will in my life, in this season of my

  159. life, in this particular junction in my life? What do you want me

  160. to do? What is your will for my life? So I always believe

  161. that God wants to bring us from point A to point B. It's like

  162. it's a journey, right, And oftentimes in our life we tend to go

  163. astray. Right. So if point A the point B is a straight line,

  164. we tend to go straight from God at times, right when we do

  165. things according to our way, we want things our way, you know,

  166. we we ask God to We often ask God to bless what we want to

  167. do, you know, we try to fit God into our plans, you

  168. know, And and so sometimes we make we can go straight from God's spend

  169. in our lives. And then after a while we realize that we've gone astray

  170. and we ask God for help, and God guide us back to the path

  171. in which He wants us to go. Right. And so I always always

  172. think it's a you know, it's it's a straight line that God wants us

  173. to take. And if you can stick close to His will and his path,

  174. you will get to where your destiny that God has for you quicker.

  175. Right. But oftentimes we tend to go a stray from him and we're going

  176. at exact motion, you know. But I pray that you'll always come back

  177. to the path and the will that God has for you. So I got

  178. a quick story to share when I was working in my when I first started

  179. working as a as a working a doubt some of you will know this story.

  180. I started, I mean working in a construction company, right, and

  181. life there is really really tough, and to be honest with you, the

  182. salary is not great. Uh. And so you know, as I was

  183. working, I was in this job for five years and During these five years,

  184. I've had many counter offers, you know, to go to a different

  185. company, you know, this job is paying better. Or this friend of

  186. mine asked me to be a partner of his company and helping somewhere else.

  187. And I would always pray and ask the Lord, Lord, where do you

  188. want me to go, you know, at the start of the year,

  189. at the end of the year, because usually people change up at the time

  190. when the bonus come out, they change up, so I'll ask a lot.

  191. So, yeah, has come to the end. I finished this year.

  192. Lord, where do you want me to go next? I'm really tiring

  193. this job. I'm done. You know, where do you want me to

  194. go next? And the Lord will tell me finish what you started. It's

  195. just one simple sentence, finish what you started. So the project was five

  196. years duation. Every year I asked the Lord, God said, finish what

  197. you started. At the end of At the end of five years, I

  198. knew God was the finisher really, and God wants us to be finishers as

  199. well. You know, we are not called to quit halfway, you know,

  200. and don't quit your job when it's a sinking ship. You know.

  201. Of course, at that time, my job he was quite a sinking ship,

  202. you know, and sort of lot reminded me, finish what you started,

  203. because I realized that God is a finisher, and how many of you

  204. know when he went to the court, he was a finisher right of course,

  205. at the cost. He said, it is finished, right, it

  206. is finished. Praise be to God. He said, eat is finished.

  207. He didn't say I'm finished. If you said I'm finished, we will be

  208. here. But he said it is finished, right, it is finished.

  209. What did he finished? He finished the work in which the Father had sent

  210. him a man. He finished the work in which the Father had sent him.

  211. So I realized that, wow, even God was the finisher a man,

  212. and he calls us to be finishers a man. And so we must

  213. run this race, this race of faith that you and I are on.

  214. It's a marathon. It's it's not a spring race. It's a marathon.

  215. So I pray that you will keep running and never give up on your faith

  216. and keep running. And so I I like to say that whenever you come

  217. to major decisions in life, we always need to seek for the will of

  218. God in your life. Always, especially the major decisions of course big and

  219. small, we should seek the Lord all the time, but especially in the

  220. big decisions. So to continue the story. After five years, the job

  221. was finished. The project was done. It was completed and cut along stor

  222. each shot. My company had no more jobs for me in kel so quote

  223. unquote, the fired me shed asked me to design. I resign, okay,

  224. because they had no more jobs. So I resigned, and I looked

  225. at the lot, Lord, you brought me through this journey. What next?

  226. I'll wait upon you, you know. And that time was MCO COVID

  227. time. It was really difficult to find a job doing COVID, really really

  228. difficult because the economy was down. Everything was down. And I think if

  229. some of you were looking for jobs at the time, it was difficult,

  230. really difficult. So I trust the Lord. I said, Lord, you

  231. brought me on this journey. You will bring me to my next destination.

  232. So I'll wait upon you. So I'll share this testimony with enough wisdom.

  233. Please don't do this. And as a lot tells you to the lot told

  234. me the next job will come looking for you. That's scary. So in

  235. my natural human self, I still want to apply. I said, God,

  236. job will come looking for me, right, that's back up. I

  237. apply first, that's wisdom, wisdom. I got apply first, cut alongsty

  238. Shot. I applied three jobs, one calling for interview. I didn't get

  239. any of them. So I said, Lord, what next? And I

  240. said the job will come looking for you. So I said, okay,

  241. Lord, I surrender. So three months I prayed, I feel like crazy.

  242. Cut along sta Way Shot. Three months later, I got a call,

  243. He's coming for interview my my housemaid. Basically, h you know,

  244. he got to know. He's he's very close with a friend who's a business

  245. owner. Right. I got to know about my background, and he said,

  246. send me a CV. So I send my CV to him. He

  247. sending TV to the guy and he shall call me in. So I kick

  248. you not I walk into the office. They was the one who called me.

  249. Are you not sending my resume to apply? I did not send an

  250. application on linked In or job Street. I do not make phone call.

  251. It was a haitcha will call me in. And you know the story.

  252. I'm now working in the same company for three years now. In three years,

  253. yeah, three years past now, and I can stand before you tell

  254. you without shadow of doubt. I'm exactly where God has called me to be.

  255. I'm exactly where God has called me to be. Because He has called

  256. me, he has he has opened a door for me. So my my

  257. bosses are Christians. We have Bible study in my now office every alternate week.

  258. We pray for our our company, We pray for our business, pay

  259. for one another. We try to reach out to our colleagues, and so

  260. on and so forth, and yeah, and so really I trust that the

  261. Lord will lead and guide you if you seek him. If you seek him,

  262. you will find. You will find him, and he will surely lead

  263. you. And a lot of the why was here? When I say why,

  264. I'm referring to young working adults. Okay, y w A. In

  265. short, why? A lot of why was here have amazing testimonies of how

  266. they find their jobs. Some of them had good offers like me, but

  267. they turn it down because the Lord had better plan for them, or they

  268. felt according to stay here and somebody. And so you can speak to some

  269. of the why was here? You know they will share you, share with

  270. you some of their stories of how they turn down better paying jobs just so

  271. they can serve the lot and to obey the Lord's voice. Amen. And

  272. so, if you want to be successful in life, if you want to

  273. buy it forever. The Bible says, do the will of God. Ask

  274. the Lord where does he want you to go? What does he want you

  275. to do? Who does he want you to share the Gospel with? Ask

  276. the Lord and he will guide you. Amen, there's a promise attached to

  277. it. Romanshap the aid verstened, says Romans eight twenty eight says, and

  278. we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,

  279. to those who are called according to His purposes. Amen. And so our

  280. purpose must align to His purpose for us, and then you are possible in

  281. all your ways. So how do we know his will? It's simple.

  282. You know his will by knowing his word. When you read his word,

  283. when you're close with the Lord, you will know what is his will for

  284. your life, and he will guide you every step of the way. Amen.

  285. Our obedience not only honors God but brings us into alignment with His plans

  286. and his purposes for our lives. Do you believe that obedience? Obedience is

  287. key. Obedience not only honors God, but it also aligns us to his

  288. plans and his purposes. Jesus was obedient even till death on the cross.

  289. So we can learn from him as well. My second point is this,

  290. Jesus came to serve and give his life for us. That's my second point.

  291. Jesus came to serve and give his life for us. March chapter ten,

  292. Worth forty five says, for even the sudden man did not come to

  293. be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for

  294. many. Amen. So the sound of man Jesus came. He did not

  295. come as a reigning king. He came as a servant king, servant king.

  296. He came to serve and not to be served. And so the context

  297. of this message or this this phrase that Jesus said, he was actually talking

  298. to his disciples, Okay, And I'm going to show you the context.

  299. Okay. So basically, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Okay,

  300. one of the chef disciples of Jesus, the mother Okay, the mother

  301. went to Jesus and asked Jesus, you know, to allow James and John

  302. to sit at the left and on the right of Jesus. Okay, you

  303. know, in his kingdom. Okay. And of course Jesus said to them,

  304. do you do not know what you are asking? About. You know,

  305. can you drink the cup that I'm about to drink? And of course,

  306. if you read it, James and John said yes, we can,

  307. surely we can, you know. And then Jesus said, you know,

  308. yes, you can drink. You will surely drink the cup. But rather

  309. to sit on my left or my right, it is to the father to

  310. decide, right, I'm paraphrasing. Okay, And then we come to this

  311. verse forty one. Okay, Mark chapter ten, verse forty one. And

  312. when the ten heard it, okay, so there was chop discippers right,

  313. so chop minus two the balance ten. The ten discipers heard it, they

  314. began to be greatly displeased with James and John. But Jesus called them to

  315. himself and said to him, to them, you know that those who considered

  316. rulers over the gentiles lord it over them, and they are great ones exercise

  317. authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you. But whoever

  318. desires to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever of you

  319. desires to be the first, shall be slave of all. For even the

  320. son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to

  321. give his life a ransom for many. Amen. So the son of Man

  322. came to serve and not to be served. So I'm going to speak to

  323. the leaders here for a WHI leaders, all of us here. When we

  324. carry a leadership title, we are we carry the title because we are here

  325. to serve. And who are we serving? We are serving the rest of

  326. you, the church. Right. Great is the burden that we carry so

  327. that we can serve you the church. Amen. So the Bible actually teaches

  328. us, you know, you know, be kind to your leaders, you

  329. know, don't make their live difficult. You can read it is there,

  330. you will find it because we carry a burden of the church. Right.

  331. And I told you that we are all we all have full time jobs,

  332. you know, but we do it as to the Lord. We do it

  333. with joy in our hearts. We do it with gladness because it's a joy

  334. to serve the lot. It's a privilege to serve the Lord. Amen.

  335. So if you're if you're see that here and you say, man, like,

  336. the church is growing, we need more leaders. I want to be

  337. part of it, you know, you know, consider yourself, you know,

  338. you know, join a discipleship, relationship, a harder relationship so that

  339. we can raise you up to be a leader in our church. Amen,

  340. And to help us to continue to serve the Lord and the church and the

  341. needs of the church. Amen. So that so that we can continue to

  342. grow the church for the glory of God's name. Amen. And so the

  343. work is plenty. You know. Just took across our campus and you will

  344. see that there's thousands of students, thousands of students and who are yet to

  345. be rich. And so the work is plenty, you know. And so

  346. as leaders, as your leaders, we are here to serve. We're here

  347. to serve you and to serve the church. And can I say it's not

  348. easy because many of us don't stay in some money. Actually we don't stay

  349. in some mandy. Uh. And today coming into some money was quite jammed.

  350. The traffic it's quite jammed. You know. If we drove in some

  351. many you will know it was quite jammed because of ching. Me I think

  352. people are traveling and so many men was really really jammed. Uh. So

  353. he took me one hour to get here. Uh. And so we really

  354. really pay a price to serve the Lord even and we do it as unto

  355. the Lord. And so I encourage all of you even as you serve,

  356. do it as unto the Lord. Even Christ came to serve and not to

  357. be served. And we can learn from Christ. In fact, he didn't

  358. only come to serve. He also came to give his life for you and

  359. I. He came to give his life as a ransom for many. And

  360. so can I suggest that we two ought to give our lives back to him.

  361. We too, ought to give our lives back to him. Because if

  362. Christ never gave his life in the first place, you and I will not

  363. even have life. If Christ never even gave his life in the first place,

  364. you and I will not have life. But because Christ gave his life,

  365. you and I can have eternal life. Amen. So we recognize that

  366. every breath that we have in our lungs actually comes from him. It is

  367. him who gives us time on earth. You know, we will never know

  368. when we will go. You know. It can happen in the blink of

  369. an eye, you know. And as long as you and I used to

  370. have breath on this space of this earth, we will serve the Lord,

  371. and we will give our lives back to him. A man, we serve

  372. the Lord, not just only in church, but how many of you know

  373. when you serve your brothers and sisters, you also do it as unto the

  374. Lord. You do it as unto the Lord. Let me show it to

  375. you. Matthew Chapter twenty five. Matthew Chapter twenty five, verse thirty four

  376. to forty. Okay, it's quite a long one, so maybe you can

  377. turn do it. Matthew Chapter twenty five, verse thirty four says, Then

  378. the King will say to those on his right hand, come you, blessed

  379. of my father inherit the king or of Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation

  380. of the world. Four. I was hungry and you gave me food.

  381. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. This is Jesus saying, okay.

  382. In my Bible is in grade. Okay, the words are in rade

  383. Jesus speaking. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a

  384. stranger and you took me in. I was naked and you clothed me.

  385. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came

  386. to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when

  387. did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a

  388. drink? When did we see you a stranger and take you in or naked

  389. and clothed you. Or when did you see you sick or in prison and

  390. came to you. And the King will answer and say to them, as

  391. surely I say to you. Inasmuch as you did it to one of the

  392. leasts of this my brethren, you did it to me. Amen. So

  393. we are called not only to serve the Lord, but to self one another,

  394. because even as to serve one another, you are doing it as unto

  395. the Lord. Amen. So Jesus came to self. He didn't come to

  396. be served. He came to serf. And likewise you and I can learn

  397. from the life of Jesus on earth. And you and I are also called

  398. to serve the Lord and self others. While my third point is this,

  399. I'm only halfway. Two. Third point is Jesus came as light so that

  400. believers may not remain in darkness. Jesus came as the light so that believers

  401. may not remain in darkness. John Chapter twelve, verse forty six. John

  402. Child forty six says I have come as a light into the world, that

  403. whoever believes in me should not abide in darkness. I have come as light

  404. into the world, that whoever believes in me should not abide in darkness.

  405. One Scripture John eight versus Chef says, then Jesus spoke to them again,

  406. saying I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not

  407. walk in darkness, but have the light of life. And man, Jesus

  408. says, I am the light of the world. This is just that sound

  409. family for us, because he also says to you and me, you are

  410. the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Right, so

  411. Jesus came as light onto the world, and now we two have a part

  412. to play, because he also says to us in Mattic chapter five, verse

  413. thirteen, okay, that's on the screen. Matchich chapter five, verse thirteen,

  414. you are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its

  415. flavor, how shall we be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but

  416. to be thrown out and tempered under foot by men. You are the light

  417. of the world. A city that is set on on the hill cannot be

  418. hidden. Nor do they light a lamb and put it under a basket.

  419. But on a lamb stand and it gives light to all who are in the

  420. house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good

  421. works and glorify your Father in heaven. Amen. So may I say to

  422. each and everyone of you right now you are the sort of the earth.

  423. You are the light of the world, light of the earth and man.

  424. Because that is also given to us. We are to reflect God's glory here

  425. on earth as a church in our community. One question we must ask ourselves

  426. this is this is will we be missed when we are not here one day?

  427. It's a good question to ask, isn't it. Will the church be

  428. missed when you when it's no longer there? You know, I'm not sure.

  429. I'm not sure if all of you know. But our main service location

  430. in DVCC, basically the space that we are renting in in Subuna and DVCC

  431. that venue has been bought over by another owner. Okay, it's been bought

  432. over already, and so quote unquote we lost the space, okay, And

  433. we'll be moving out by next month, I believe, okay. And so

  434. the big question will be will Summit Mall Shopming Shopping Mall miss us when we

  435. are gone? And I can tell you will they really will miss us?

  436. Because on a Sunday morning when we have combined services, the food stores are

  437. packed, you know, even for some time, it is packed. We

  438. are fighting among church plans, chess plan, fighting for a place to sit

  439. down to eat, you know, you know in our church plank group saying

  440. okay, I booked this stall. I'm going to go first again. I

  441. got fifty, but you don't go okay. You know, we're like we

  442. are, we are we're competing among church plans where to go and eat because

  443. there's no space to eat, you know. In fact, the food vendors,

  444. you know, we'll tell our church, hey, if you got combined

  445. services, please let us know you advance because we need to order double and

  446. cheaper amount of food. You know. And when the church is gone from

  447. that that place, the question is will the all miss us? You know,

  448. I hope they will, and I'm sure they will because we bring business

  449. to them. But more than just the business, I pray that the church

  450. has been a good testimony to the to the vendors. You know, I

  451. hope we didn't score them. And when the foot or slow, you know,

  452. but it's a good question to us, you know, even examine,

  453. you know, you never know one day, if it lod moves us to

  454. a different venue, will you need miss us where you need relish miss us?

  455. You know, you never know. And so the church is a lighthouse.

  456. It's meant to be a blessing to the community around to wherever it is

  457. it is located, you know, and people should know about the church.

  458. People should know that we exist here because we are lighthouse. Remember that we

  459. are the light of the world. We actually represent God and we represent the

  460. Christian faith. May I suggest to you, wherever you go, whether it's

  461. in your marketplace, whether it's in your school, whether it's in your campus,

  462. whether you're in the mama, you represent Christ. So we need to

  463. be very careful and very wise on how we live. I'm going to share

  464. you a simple story of how I would say I was very careful with my

  465. words are and ended well. So long, long story shot. I recently

  466. bought an iPhone. I went to the Apple store. I bought an iPhone.

  467. Thank god, I went. I wont an iPhone, and I took

  468. it back home and I opened the iPhone. The next it was a Saturday,

  469. okay, And the next day it was a Sunday. So I didn't

  470. want to get distracted with opening my new phone, and then I get distracted

  471. for Sunday. I was paying for Sunday. It was a Saturday evening,

  472. okay, So I didn't open the phone. I just kept it there and

  473. I focused on on the Sunday on the church vers right, And after I

  474. finished, I got back home. I opened the phone at in the evening,

  475. about five four five pm on a Sunday, and lo and behold the

  476. phone had the scratch on the screen. It's quite obvious. And so I

  477. was like, man, I can't use the scratch phone, right, I

  478. just bought it. It's brand new. So long story shot, I brought

  479. it back to the store and I told the store I would like to get

  480. it replaced. And the store told me, I'm sorry because she walked out

  481. to the walked out from the store already. Any goods that is bought is

  482. normally fundable and cannot be replaced by the way. I'm like, okay,

  483. So I left the store. Can be Can I be placed? Right?

  484. So I left the store and I caught Apple and I complained Apple. Long

  485. story short, Apple say sorry, we can't do anything for you. Please

  486. go back to the store. Okay. So when I was at the store.

  487. Uh. The staff told me to write an email to the to the

  488. management and maybe they'll reply me. So I thought to myself, email nobody

  489. replies emails these days. They would take like one week. You know,

  490. I want this this problem stetter immediately because it's like it's brand new. You

  491. know, I haven't started the phone, so long story shot I would have

  492. I would have okay, So I already email. It's not shut up.

  493. The email was long. I wrote an entire essay documenting what I did.

  494. I opened the phone, there was no damage to the box. Everything was

  495. okay. You know, I opened it. I haven't even started the phone,

  496. and it's really scratched. And and I and I and I wrote my

  497. request very clearly. My request was simple. I wanted a one to one

  498. replacement. That's it, okay. Uh. And then I left it there

  499. and the next day, to my surprise, they called me Apple Store caught

  500. me. Please put into the store. So I walked into the store and

  501. they checked my phone and it's true, it was scrashed, right, And

  502. they told me they gave me a special case today we'll allow you to replace

  503. the phone. You know what he told me. The only reason he allowed

  504. me to replace the phone was because that the day when I went when on

  505. the Sunday when I went to complain about the phone, apparently apparently even I

  506. don't remember, apparently the stuff say, I was very nice. He said,

  507. I was very kind. He said I was smiling in he I'm like,

  508. really, he said, he said, he told him. He told

  509. the boss. I told them the boss you need to have him. He's

  510. a very nice guy. He's just smiling in me, even though it's phone

  511. scratched and he's just smiling. I think it's true. I think it's legit.

  512. You better have him. So the lady that replaced the phone for me

  513. to me right, that was the only reason why the management considered he paying

  514. the phone for me, because they thought it's legit. So I'm like,

  515. man like if that they're right in there and I and I and I blew

  516. up, like do do like maybe I won't get the phone we placed,

  517. you know, you know, but just just it's sufficed to say, like,

  518. you know, I think you and I need to be very careful how

  519. we live. You know, because you you represent Christ and you are testimony

  520. wherever you are, you know, whether you go to a mama store and

  521. the guy gave you a wrong drink whatever it is, you know, so

  522. we've got to be very careful. So that I realized, Wow, just

  523. with a simple act, you could have chan you know, the outcome,

  524. you know, just be that simple act. So I was. I thought

  525. myself, Thank God I kept my cool, and God I kept my cool

  526. even so, be very careful because we are really a testimony. Wherever you

  527. are, people are watching you. And I pray that you have a good

  528. testimony because when people see your good works, they will glorify your Father in

  529. heaven. Amen. By moving on point number four, Jesus came to proclaim

  530. the good news. I got a rush. Now I got a few more

  531. points to go. Jesus came to proclaim the good news. Luke chapter four,

  532. verse eighteen says, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he

  533. has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me

  534. to heal the broken hearted. Is refraining to Jesus to proclaim liberty to the

  535. captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those

  536. who are obsessed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. So Jesus

  537. came to proclaim the good news. Or in other words, you can't hear

  538. the gospel to the poor, and how may never know what the gospel actually

  539. means. G ospl in short means God's only Son provides eternal life. Gospel

  540. g osp el God's only Son provides eternal life. I'm sure some of you

  541. have heard that before, so we are so Jesus came on earth to proclaim

  542. the good news. Likewise, you and I we have have part to play.

  543. We too ought to proclaim the good news. Mark chapter sixteen, verse

  544. fourteen to sixteen. Mark sixteen, verse fourteen to sixteen. Later he appeared

  545. to the eleven as they sat at the table, and he rebuilt their unbelief

  546. and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen him after

  547. he had reason. This was after Jesus had reasoned okay and uh. And

  548. he told the women to go and tell the disciples. And they thought they

  549. were crazy. And so Jesus appeared to the eleven disciples minus Judus is covered,

  550. and Jesus said to them. He said to them, go into all

  551. the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. Go into all the world

  552. and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who believes and his baptized will

  553. be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. So you

  554. and I have a part to play. Jesus gave the command or the instruction

  555. or the commission to his disciples to go into all the world and preach the

  556. Gospel. In fact, you and I know that it's found in the Great

  557. Commission Matthew twenty eight nineteen. Right, go therefore and make disciples of all

  558. nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son,

  559. and the end of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I've

  560. commanded you and lo, I will be with you always, even to the

  561. end of age. Amen. That's the Great commission, Matthew, twenty eight

  562. nineteen. So you and I our part to play is to share the good

  563. news with others. Just help people believe a little bit more. That's our

  564. tag line for extras. Actually, did you know that that? What's the

  565. tag line? Can somebody say, well, very good, oh my fun

  566. line or the all the sityd have fun said, you want a card helping

  567. people believe? Right, And that's what we do. Every Sunday or every

  568. other day. Right. It shouldn't just be a Sunday, should be Monday

  569. through Saturday and Sunday. Right. We help people believe, and if you

  570. can help you believe just a little bit more, we have at least done

  571. one part right, man, is to help people believe. How many of

  572. you know? All we need to do is to share the gospel. It

  573. is the work of the Holy Spirit that convicts hearts, and man, it

  574. is the work of the Holy Spirit that convicts hearts. The reason why you

  575. and I are always fearful and scared to share the gospel is because we're scared

  576. of each gohy, not am I the only one coy right? We are

  577. scared of rejection. So may I suggest to you one thing today. When

  578. we share the good news and this person gets safe, God gets all the

  579. glory. Right do you believe? You agree with me? So if you

  580. share the good news and the person doesn't get safe, you shouldn't take the

  581. blame. Think about it for a while. Think about that for a while.

  582. Okay, You and I our part to do is to share the good

  583. news. Of course, you must frailer, must prela. Don't use your

  584. own shine. Okay, share the good news. It is the work of

  585. the Holy Spirit that changes and convicts heart. We can never change a person

  586. really in marriage, they say, what you see is what you get for

  587. marriage. Right, what you see is what you get. Like when you

  588. people think that they go into marriage they can change that person. Believe me,

  589. it doesn't quite happen. Okay, what you see is what you get.

  590. Only God can change your heart. Okay, only God can change someone.

  591. Okay, so yes, just a it's very quiet, Okay, moving

  592. on. So central to I mean, Jesus' mission is central around him spading

  593. the good news, the gospel. Right, how many of you know that

  594. bad news always travel faster than good news always, and so I pray that

  595. we can share the good news so that good news can travel faster. So

  596. I was said at ravel is Kanda, And on this Sunday Samuel was preaching.

  597. Samuel, my twin brother, was preaching, and he said this,

  598. He shed a good news. Did you know that? Now? One month

  599. ago it was announced that you can take your driver's license tests online. How

  600. many if you knew that? Okay, so it's a few, right,

  601. there's a really really good news, you know, did you know. Why

  602. did you do? You know why? It's good news because in Malaysia,

  603. in some driving centers it's very difficult to get a license. When you get

  604. into the car for the test, it is a true storia, someone actually

  605. shed on the Sunday. When you get into into the car, the tester

  606. will ask you which package you want. You want the Power Color Package,

  607. pow Color, MISA, cover all all the fees, okay, cover all

  608. the fees. Are you want a power Color package or you want the difficult

  609. the standard package? So standard package is cheaper, the Power Color package is

  610. more expensive. Why because you're vibing the officer overaday? Okay, So if

  611. you take the Power Color package, come from person. If you take the

  612. standard package, you're fair at least twice. Okay. It happens in certain

  613. centers in Malaysia. Okay, and true storia. I was sitting there at

  614. the line table in one person was showing it. She filled her twest test

  615. twice. The fire told her, you take this part color package. She

  616. said, no, cannot You are Christians? How can we take this package?

  617. I think the standard package? Should? She took the standard package?

  618. She failed? She drive out the instructor as to go back, No need

  619. you talk h second time, she thought she I'll take the standard beckage again

  620. again, she drove out when this time went further went about. Then the

  621. struct as to go back fad. The fighter told her I'm doneaday this third

  622. time. If you fail, you pay yourself. She said, I will

  623. still take the standard package this time. She prayed, God, give me

  624. a mirakele that time is the charm. She passed. So it's getting it's

  625. getting more mortificult to get a license in Malaysia at certain centers. So the

  626. government implemented this this system to to you know, to exercise more integrity and

  627. transparency. So the instructor is actually watching on on on the screen online you

  628. take the driving test. Okay, So it's actually happening now in Malaysia,

  629. announced last month and it's going to start this month. So most of us

  630. didn't know. Right, it's sexually really good news for Malaysians, right if

  631. you need to take a license. Yeah, So bad news really really travel

  632. first. So I prayed it you and I you will play these good news

  633. faster than any bad news. A man don't just share the good news,

  634. it must be accompanied with acts of kindness. And mercy. When you come

  635. to a tough situation, remember this, w w j D. What would

  636. Jesus do? Ask this simple question, what would Jesus do? W w

  637. JD. All right, point number five. Let's go last lap. Jesus

  638. came to seek and save the lost Luke Chapter nineteen, verse nine to ten.

  639. Jesus said to him, today's salvation has come to this house because he

  640. is a son of Abraham, and the son of Man has come to seek

  641. and to save that which was lost. This story, I believe is I

  642. think was this? Let me check out? Was it? Yes? A

  643. Yesias right on the tree, right, yes, I believe it was Zakias

  644. on the tree. Um, let me just double check that revery quick.

  645. Yes, quiet, okay. You're Zaccius who was a chief text collector.

  646. Right, he was shot. He climbed a tree, a sycamore tree,

  647. and he say saw Jesus, and Jesus as him, well, come down

  648. today, we're eight in your house. And he said, and Jacquius said,

  649. I will pay back all that I have taken, you know, And

  650. he'll pay back how many times more? He will give half of his goods

  651. to the poor. And if I've taken anything from anyone by false accusation.

  652. I restored four four. So he had repented on the day itself. He

  653. was a text collector. People hated text collector in those days. E Sechius

  654. repented. He will give back to the poor, and give back four times

  655. to those to whom he has cheated. And Jesus said, today's salvation has

  656. come to this house because he is the son of Abraham. For the son

  657. of Man has come to seek and to say that which was lost. So

  658. Jesus spend time with text collectors. He spent time with the sinners. He

  659. spent time with people who were hated. And the pelacies will always complain,

  660. why is Jesus spending time with the sinners? And what did he say?

  661. He said, those who are well have no need of a physician, but

  662. those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but

  663. sinners to repentance. Is the sick who needs Christ? And how you have

  664. known all over us here need Christ because each of us were born with sin.

  665. We were born with the nature of sin. When a child or a

  666. baby is born, you never need to teach them how to lie, You

  667. never need to teach them how to steal. You never need to teach them

  668. how to cheat. They know how observe any of your niece or nephews when

  669. they're growing up. They know because the nature of sin is in them.

  670. Each of us have that. It's the nature of sin in us. And

  671. that is why we need a savior, a man. That is why we

  672. need a savior, and that's why Jesus came to seek and save that which

  673. was lost. And likewise you and I, we too have our part to

  674. play to seek and save those who are yet to believe. We don't need

  675. to look very far, fans, we don't need to look very far.

  676. Just look at your fans, Look at your neighbors, look at your colleagues,

  677. look at your cosmetes, look at your family. I'm sure you at

  678. least have one person whom you can share the gospel and the good news with.

  679. A man. Okay, last, but not this, Jesus came to

  680. bear witness to the truth. Jesus came to bear witness to the truth.

  681. John eighteen, verse thirty seven. This was just right before Jesus's crucifixion when

  682. he was trial by pilot or pilate, depending on where you come from.

  683. When he was trial by pilot. Pilot therefore said to him, said to

  684. Jesus, are you a king? Then Jesus answered, you say rightly that

  685. I am a king. For this cause I was born, And for this

  686. cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the

  687. truth. Everyone who is of truth hears my voice. And when he said

  688. this, for this cause, I have come into the world, that I

  689. should bear witness to the truth. Another word says in John chapter fourteen,

  690. verse six, Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the truth,

  691. and the life. No one comes to the Father except to me.

  692. So Jesus himself. It's true. Jesus is true. And how many of

  693. you know today we need more and more of the truth. We really need

  694. the truth today because it's very hard to tell what's true anymore today when you

  695. look on social media, when you look at the news, you can't even

  696. tell the news it's fake or true. In fact, when you see a

  697. now a technology is so advanced. Even when you look look at the video

  698. of someone speaking, you don't even know whether it is the person or not.

  699. He has advanced so much you can replicate another person's face and voice over

  700. it. It's amazing, you know. So every time I read the news,

  701. every time I, you know, see something on on Twitter, it

  702. has got x now you know, or any other news source for that matter,

  703. or if you get an SMS. Sometimes I get SMS from the government.

  704. I'm not only sure this is real or not. I ask my my

  705. siblings, do you get THISA is this true or not? You know,

  706. because we are so fearful now, you know, there's a lot of fake

  707. news. There's a lot of scams and peace with Hurricane fool with scams these

  708. days. Okay, you don't talk about that, but you get what I

  709. mean, right, It's just it's very hard to verify the truth today.

  710. How many have you know? Jesus is the truth and in him there's no

  711. lie. We can be one hundred percent certain everything that he says is true

  712. because he is truth itself. He is true a man. So he came

  713. to bad witness of the truth. So likewise you and I, we too

  714. can bear witness of the truth, which is Jesus Christ. This is what

  715. a witness is called to do. When a winness is called to the court,

  716. they can only testify what they have seen, heard, smell, touch,

  717. or experience you know that when you stand before a court, I can't

  718. say, oh, the day I was there and wagent said this, right,

  719. or reagent saw that, you know, I can't say on his behalf

  720. he's not there, you know, or he's not there at the court if

  721. he said something or he saw something. He needs to be there to testify

  722. for himself. I cannot testify on there with him in the court. Right.

  723. And likewise, you and I, our greatest witness for Christ is our

  724. own personal testimony, our own personal testimony of how you came to know the

  725. Lord, how the Lord saved you, and your personal experience with him,

  726. of how the Lord answer your prayer, how he spoke to you, how

  727. he guide your life. And so when I quick story, when I sat

  728. down in one of our my consultant recently, he's not a believer, and

  729. we just over lunch. Right, he's still talking about work, we talk

  730. about life. So ask him where he studies engineering from? He asked me,

  731. and whatnot? Then he asked me a simple question, why did you

  732. join this company? And I just told him, well, God let me

  733. hear, and that's why I'm here. You know. To me, that's

  734. a witness of my testimony to him. You know, just a simple thing

  735. of how I can say how God has led me, and I pray that

  736. the seat is planted right. And so your testimony is powerful. No one

  737. can ever refute your testimony because that's your testimony, it's your person experience is

  738. powerful. Never take it for granted. God has given you a testimony for

  739. a reason. Every test, every child, your testimony, and God has

  740. allowed you to go to the test, that trial, and that testing for

  741. a reason. And with that testimony you can encourage someone else who may go

  742. to something similar. Amen. So today our moral compass in life is really

  743. really blow ultimated. The Bible is a guide. We must always come back

  744. to the word of God because heaven ne will pass away, but the Word

  745. of God will remain. You know, we need to look back to the

  746. Scripture and it needs to be our ultimate guide. Amen. We hope you've

  747. been blessed by this message. For more information on our church, please visit
