Are We Producing Good Fruit? | Pr Steven Soon

You're listening to a message to go from asks church. We hope this message

will light up your tea. About two weeks ago, I was also sharing

I was preaching here and the message I preach on is called the Greatest Costs,

right, And we talked about evangelism and really praise God. Different ones

actually came out and said, I've caught something and I'm gonna do something about

it. And they actually went back to share, you know, to their

loved ones, uh, to their friends. And today, what I would

like to share if you guys, is a continuation of what we spoke about

two weeks ago, what we heard about in terms of, you know,

the great commission to go and make disciples. Do you know as Christians,

God is not for us to reserve for ourselves only. That's not God's heart.

God's heart is for us to bring the good news to share it with

those around us. If we were to just keep it to ourselves, then

we are being very selfish. Right. For those are parents here, you

will know, all right, when you prepare dinner or you prepare a male

you will always give the best parts to your children first. Am I right?

My parents do that for me? Right In the same way. God

wants us to do that for those around us. Right, don't just reserve

the gospel for ourself. But thank God, the gospel is not exhaustive.

It's not that we give to others then we are in le like. No,

there will always be abundance of God's goodness. So let's share. Let's

share. I'm sure that someone in your circle, whether it's your family,

or your friends, or your colleagues or your classmates, that you can share

the gospel. Too many times we say this, right here's sort of a

joke and not really, but we pray for the salvation of our friends and

our loved ones, but we are always hoping that someone else will do the

job. Guilty as such, me too. I tell you know two ways

ago, you guys hurt my testimony. I share how God finally sent me

to go to my aunt to share the gospel to her family. All this

while I was hoping somebody else that right, another person. But you know,

let's remember, even as we pray for the salvation of our loved ones

and our friends, let's not like secondic to another person to do it.

Why not we do it. It's scary, but trust it as you do

it because this is the Lord's command, command and charge to us. He

will also provide us a strength to do it. Amen. All right,

I'm gonna start off with a story, a parable, right, I came

out with a parable the Lord, Uh put this into my heart. This

story. I'm gonna talk about the parable of the fruit orches. This is

not the title of the sermon, but it's just a story. I'm gonna

start off a right, I'm gonna talk about fruit or chest. How many

of you have been to fruit or chests before? Not really a man?

If you ever go to Pinang, let me know, I know some deurin

orchests in Ballet Pulau. You guys should really go and try the deuran there.

Okay. Anyways, So in a fruit orchard, right, in any

orchard at all, they're usually many trees, right right, That's why we

call it call it an orchard, different from a lot of buildings in Singapore.

But any fruit orchard, or any orchard at all, they will have

many trees and trees very much like any living thing. They'll be healthy ones

and not so healthy ones, good trees and not so good trees. And

the good trees will of course produce good fruit, makes sense, right.

The bad ones will of course produce bad fruit. And when you visit the

fruit orchard, if you get to know the owner and you taste of the

fruit, the owner will be very passionate in telling you about the fruit.

Oh, this fruit, this particular uran. All right, this is musa,

this musa king duran. For me, I love rape proana. I

don't like I think musam king too sweet. Rape pron just nice. So

that's me. So they will tell you all this one right, I uh

uh? This tree was how did I prepare the tree? How do I

bring a sort of like what they call that fertilized the salt for this tree?

You know, this tree this season has been burying very good fruit.

Some of you may know brother Vela. Brother Vela in San da Khan.

So I got to visit. So last year I went to sand for a

mission trip and he brought us around. Orchard is downplaying the size of what

he has farming is also a bit dwnplay is huge. So we actually ran

and it was really passionate in sharing. You know, I'm cross breeding this

too, because I'm trying to create the best duran. So he's actually cross

breeding trees to find the best quality of this duran, parted with the best

quality of this duran to make the best duran. So he's experimenting, uh,

and he actually wants to bring it into the industry. It's crazy.

He's crazy and doing all that. But owners of orchards, farmers, they

are very passionate. When you talk to them about the fruit, and when

you talk to them about food and they share to you, they will also

tell you the bad fruits. They tell you this one I won't serve you

because it's not really that good. And it came from that tree. And

immediately when we think about it, right, when we hear that, we

go like, we will label it real, that one bad tree, bad

tree. Right, we will think of it bad tree. There will be

a label that will give to that tree. We were ever, every time

we revisit the orchard, will remember this one bad tree, bad tree.

Right. I've got a question to ask us today. How many of us

today when people look at us, they will go, yep, that's a

bad tree. Oh tell your neighbor, he's not talking about you. We're

all here, very good to you, Okay. But this is something I

want to start with this question for us to reflect, are we producing good

fruit? That's the title of my message today. And we're gonna look at

the key scripture Matthew seven seventeen to twenty. And this is why the World

of God says, even so, every good tree best good fruit, but

the bad tree best bad fruit. This is simple mathematics. Right, A

good tree cannot bad bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bad good fruit.

Every tree that does not bad good fruit is cut down and throned into

the fire. And I want us to focus on this line. Therefore,

by their fruits, you will know them. It's not how the tree looks,

so not whether the tree is tall or short, whether the bark looks

nice or not. It's the fruit that you know whether the tree is good.

I ask us again, what kind of tree are we? What kind

of fruit are we producing? I'm going to sidetrack a bit and going to

talk about First Timothy. It's all going to come back to the fruit.

Or yet, don't worry, we're going to come back to this. I

want to talk about First Timothy. Right. First Timothy is to give you

a little bit of historical context. And before that, actually, let me

bring you to one verse. First Timothy photo of the famous verse many of

us can recite by memory. All right, let no one despise your youth,

but be an example to you, the believers in word, in conduct,

and love, in spirit, in faith and impurity. The Youth Benistry

loves to use this scripture because youth. Right. Many times we come across

this scripture. Then we'll go like, maybe that's not me. It's not

me. Maybe I don't have to be an example. Let the young people

do it. Time to break your bubble, youth. I'm gonna give you

a definition. The youth word in the original text in Greek is neo tests.

It sounds Japanese like, so this but it's not neo tests is Greek,

and you know what it means. Let me blow your minds, you

fear means use of grown up military age, tending to the forty of years.

So if you're below forty, you're you. Hallelujah, Amen. If

you're above, you're forty, and you're above forty, you're beyond forty.

You're a young adult. Amen, Hallelujahah. We all happy when we say

this, but the youth here that Paul again talking about context, right when

this letter was written from Paul to Timothy. Timothy was somewhere between his late

twenties to meet thirties. If I do the math correctly, extremely is exactly

my age twenty nine, okay. And Paul sent Timothy at that time to

the officious Church, the officious Church. If you guys, listen to what

Bassa Mann has been preaching about Paul's missionary journey. The officious Church was planted

by Paul in his mission trip. His first mission trip, he went and

he planted. Okay, So in between his first second mission trip, he

told Timothy, I want you to go to the officious Church to pastor that

church. He gave Timothy that charge. And do you want to know why.

It's not because, ah, the church is prospering goal I sent you.

It's because at that time the church, the officious Church, was facing

a crisis. If you read the first first Timothy, the whole book,

you actually are able to catch what was the crisis that was happening to the

church. The church has had false teachers infiltrate the church leadership. That was

what was happening to the officious Church. They were experiencing a leadership crisis.

So Timothy was sent there to fix the problem. Oh man, what the

problem he has to fix? He was to go to bring back order into

the church and point the church back on the right and holy path. You

will see a lot of mention of holiness in the book of First Timothy because

the church, because of these false doctrines that were perpetrated by the false teachers,

the church has become unholy. All right. I won't go through the

whole Book of Timothy, the whole letter of Firstimothy, but I'm going to

bring you through some things that happened there, all right. So why did

First Timothy four twelve came to be Do not let anyone despise your youth?

It was because Timothy at the time was around twenty nine thirty my age.

So I get to imagine. So actually I was imagining if it was me.

I was sent to the church where most of them have been Christians,

maybe longer than me. Maybe they are in leadership positions. I just came

in and stress, very stress pressure, all right. And that's why Paul

gave this encouragement to Timothy, let no one despise your youth. He encouraged

Timothy to not be shaken by people more advanced in age and with supposedly more

mature faith. Why do I do this, not apostrophe? Why do I

do this? Quote right, quote sign right. It's because they may see

mature. But if you look at the Book of First Timothy, many of

these leaders were we call that their mean da. That means that they may

seem mature, but the doctrine is not sound. So he told Timothy be

an example of holiness and to operate in his spiritual giftings in the church.

That was his encouragement to Timothy. And this letter, if you read First

Timothy's written with clear instructions on how the church leadership should be. We've mentioned

of the selection of bishops and deacons. That's why you see in churches today

we have that. You see that in the Catholic churches. You see that

in the Anglican churches there's bee shops, there are bishops, act be shops.

It all came from this, right Paul received from the Lord how to

create the church leadership structure. All right, But there is also for those

of you who know First Simothy is also a very very controversial letter, and

the women here will probably feel it because Paul said a very controversial statement,

actually two controversial statement. I'm gonna give you the first one. Okay.

In chapter two you can also fleep your bibles. You can refer to yourself.

There is a controversial part where Paul said women should dress modestly and not

with braided hair, jewelry or expensive clothes. Say lord, who here got

where jury right? Why did Paul say that, can't we dress up?

Dress our best? Okay, no worry. Let me tell you why Paul

say that. Okay, if you study scripture, it was because at that

time contexts of that time history, it was the officius church, officious church.

The efficients are very rich. It's a very rich city, all right.

And remember the context of how there were leaders false teachers that have infiltrated

the leadership. Don't change that away. Remember that that is the context and

background of the church. Okay. When Paul say this to Timothy, all

right, to tell you know, women to dress modestly, it was because

there were many rich women treating the church as a fashion show at that time.

And it's not just that they were shaming others who couldn't afford such wardrobe.

That was happening in the context somewhere Paul told Timothy tell the women to

dress modestly. He's not trying to be like, oh women, you listen

to us men. No, he was addressing the fact that many of this

false teachers were also women who were teaching false doctrine already and still doing this

to hurt the church. That's why Paul instructed Timothy to tell the women dress

modestly, because there are others they're affected by it. There are other people

in the church that are not rich and are intimidated. And what more,

some of these they are dressing, dressing like a fashion show are church leaders

wire. So that is the context. Now the second more controversial part,

okay radio popcorn. Paul said he does not permit women to teach or to

lead. Oh this one right, all the other religions and athies. I

love to use the scripture Feminist movement. Man, this is going up to

the MTG. But it's okay. Speaking truth. Feminist movement pick on this

scripture and say you Christians are sexists, because first, Timothy said, Paul

said, women are not allowed to teach or to lead. I tell you,

if anybody just walked past here and hear me say this, they probably

report to police. So let me share if you again context. We must

always read it in context. This is because many women in the church of

that time, probably the same group of women that were treating the church as

a fashion show doing catwalks in church, were particulars of gossip and false teaching.

You see first Timothy addressing a lot about gossip a lot. Paul was

addressing this particular group of women saying they are not to lead because they are

stumbling the church. It is not an address to women at large. This

is what I believe my interpretation. Of course, there are other denominations.

They may have other interpretations that they don't allow, you know, the commissioning

of women to be pastors and all that. There are dominating denominations like this.

But this is my belief, based on my study and research, that

it was the context of the time that these women were in it themselves bad

character really, and Paul is trying to save the church and say, don't

let this group teach because they are not walking there thought they are hurting the

church. So I'm giving you a little bit of context because a lot of

people struggle with this part of the scripture. They can accept the whole Bible.

But this part what I mean, women cannot lead. Again. Context,

I'm giving you context, all right, So just giving you a little

bit of understanding of First Timothy when Paul wrote to Timothy this letter. Now,

of course a lot of people treat this as this First Timothy as a

letter on leadership or a blueprint on church leadership. But to me, I

also believe it's also a guide on how Christians should live our lives. Now

we're gonna go look in some scripture First Timothy Tree one to seven. Okay,

let's read this together. This is a faithful saying. This is addressing

the selection of be shops and deacons. All right, b shop. In

other words, if you read the other versions, it's called overseers. All

right. This is a faithful saying. If a man desires the position of

a bee shop, he desires a good walk work, not what I'm hungry.

Okay, a b shop then must be blameless. The husband of one

wife temperate, meaning have good control of emotions, sober, minded of good

behavior, hospitable, able to teach, not given to wine, not violent,

not greedy, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome not

corvettus. Next, one who rules his who own house well, manages his

own household well, having his children in submission with all reverence. For if

a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he

take care of the Church of God? Not a novice less being puffed up

with pride, he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. Now these

are instructions to the selection of bishops and deacons. Here is telling Timothy,

you have to choose bishops and deacons to lead the church. And these are

the qualities that you need to find. Minimum requirement. All right, we're

gonna look at Verstimoity three eight to thirteen. So this one is to wards

deacons, all right, So just now, as bishop, this one is

to warst deacons. Likewise, deacons must be reverend, not double tumped,

not given too much wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of

the faith with appeal conscience. But let these also first be tested, then

let themself as deacons being found blameless. Next, likewise, their wives.

Also, if you read the Bible, they also state it as deackonnesses.

All right, their wives must be reverend, not slenderest, temperate, faithful

in all things. Let deacons be the husband of one wife, ruling their

children and their own houses. Well, I'm gonna pause here. If he

is addressing women in general to not lead, he wouldn't use the word again

in another version, say deaconnesses see that context. We must remember the context

now, uh. Next, for those who have served well as deacons obtain

for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ

Jesus. Now you've seen a lot of good qualities, right that was mentioned.

Managing the household well, good temperament all right, not easily angered,

able, not greedy for money, not lover of wine, all right,

be able to teach. Okay. So if the instructions and requirements above what

we just read let lead towards holiness, then my question is this, are

they only exclusive to leaders of the church. This is why before this I

mentioned that I believe this is not just a blueprint for church leadership, is

a guide on how Christians live our lives. We are to be blameless.

We are to have self control. We are to be gentle, have good

behavior, take good care of our households. We are to speak well and

not gossip. Now we're going to talk about another part where it's firstiventy four

twelve. Again the scripture just now I've read this, Let no one despise

your youth. But an example to the believers in word, in conduct,

in loveth and spirit, and faith in purity. Timothy, of course,

was the pastor of the church. They will send their commission as a pastor

of the officious church. But I sense a lot convicting my heart that these

qualities are not man just for the leaders of the church. It's for the

congregation, it's for all of us. I'm going to throw out some questions

to us, and it may be outstatements, but let's have an open heart

and let's reflect. First question I want to ask us is this, are

we keeping our hearts, minds and bodies pure? Now this is in relation

to the scripture that we just read, right, example to believers in word,

in conduct, in faith, are in love, in faith, in

spirit and impurity. The first one I wan't talk about is purity. Are

we keeping our hearts, minds and bodies pure? Or are we terminating ourselves

with things we shouldn't allow him? Something for us to reflect on. Second

one Are we living a life governed by faith or governed by fear? These

are good reflection questions. Yeah, you know, if you're thinking not to

do, take them down. Take some time think about this. When we

go through life, the decisions that we make. Are we making the decisions

out of fear all of faith, fear of circumstances or the future, or

is it faith in God trusting that he will help us. I'm going to

go a step further, the decisions we're making for our children. Is it

all of fear or is it all of faith. I'm not a parent,

but I'm a son to my parents, and I understand these two us at

the next step, decisions their parents make out of fear and out of faith.

I can guarantee most of the time that my parents have made decisions for

me out of fear, it has never ended well. But every time they

did it out of faith, it has always ended well. As parents,

need something good for us to reflect on for our children, right because I

can tell you fear, it's only going to get more and more bigger.

The world is going to get more and more messed up. So if we

are to be governed by fear in the decisions that we make, we will

be pushed around and we will not be anchored. The next one, are

we carrying a spirit of christ christ likeness or of evil? Christians can carry

a spirit of evil? When you know? Do you know that if you're

not careful in the way we treat people? What kind of spirit do carry

when we go to a restaurant? How do we talk to the people serving

us? How do we talk to people that are say their job are as

clean as in our office? Help us at home? What kind of spirit

are we carrying? Are we living a life that paus out love or hatred?

The next one? Are we exemplifying christ like or devilish conduct? Let

me throw an example the way we drive? Huh Malaysians. I was joking

with someone recently. I said, we are Malaysian drivers are very prone to

intrusive thoughts. Drive on. I think I shad these before right, drive

on the road. Right. People are least signal one to cut, but

we'll speed up on all art Guilty as charge. I've done that before.

Yea, this is one of many things. Are we exemplifying christ like or

devilish conduct? And the next one, are we speaking life or spewing anger

be conduct in speech right, and I seem to find that for Christians majority

of the time, the last one is the toughest, which is actually the

first to be mentioned in the scripture. Gossip is sweet talking about someone without

them, that is sweet. When people talk about other people and we're in

the conversation, it's very hard for us not to participate. Can I encourage

a church when someone speaks of another person behind their back to you, Keith,

always give that person benefit of a doubt. It has not happened to

you yet. This is what I always try to do. Okay, I'm

still learning. But when people tell me, see when this person Isila again,

redealer, you lie, La, Lah, you lie doing the same

thing again, I would always try to come to a place where I'm like,

maybe he has his reasons. Where did you see it happen? You

didn't? Right? You heard it right? For me? He has not

done it to me, La, So I wouldn't take it as this is

Himla. Can we do that more, especially in the context of the church.

I tell you, in church, sadly speaking, today gossip thrives.

It's painful, but it's true. Church. It can become a place of

like a ness of course it uh and coming from leadership, we hear a

lot of it. I can be honest with you. We hear the ground

and it breaks my heart to know that we, as supposed sort and light

of the world, are the ones perpetrating gossip within the body of Christ.

Isn't that sad? So can I encourage us? Let's always give people a

benefited doubt. Right, Bible already say even if the person actually did wrong,

forgive, forgive, And there's actually an order of how you should uh

approach or sort of like confront people who did wrong. Actually, it's in

scripture. If the person did wrong, you're not You're not supposed to go

and talk to someone else about it. You're supposed to go and talk to

the person about it. That's the first step. The person don't listen,

Bring another person along to talk to person. Don't listen again. Then you

involve the church out there, then talk together, and they really don't listen.

Then bye bye, lad it's it's in the Bible. It's me,

it's me all right. But there's an order, so let's follow that order.

There's the reason why God did that is to protect us. Yeah,

the way we speak. Do we react first or do we respond properly?

Whenever we feel bad, whenever we get agitated? What is our first reaction?

Do we react? And do that? Do we? Thanks for your

confession, But I think all of us need to reflect on this, and

oftentimes this is very easily seen to those closest to us. We seem to

react to family a lot worse. Guilty as charged. I've been there.

But you see, when we say Jesus is Lord, we are Christians.

We cannot segregate Christ to just we and Christ in church. Christ has to

be seen in every area of our lives, whether we are with our family

and we are frustrated, whether we are on the road and we are in

a hurry, we're at work and the boss just keeps piling work on us.

Where in class our groupmates don't contribute to the assignment. Oh, that

was a very loud grown Christ is still in us, you know. So

I'm going to bring us back to Today's word is quite short, and I'm

coming to my conclusion ready. I'm going to bring us our attention back to

Matthew seven seventeen to twenty. Even so, every good tree bears good fruit.

But the bad tree bears bad fruit. We cannot bear bad fruit,

nor can a bat tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear

good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by they are

fruits. You will know them. When people are with us, what do

they see? It's my question for us, what fruit do you leave them

with? Do they leave the conversation with us with bitterness in their mouth?

Do they live the hang out with us feeling worse or feeling better? Whether

we like it or not, we have a responsibility as children of God.

I know some of us just can I just let my hair down and let

lose a bed? But I want to encourage us. We have a higher

calling as sons and daughters of God. And how does this relate to my

sermon last time about preaching the gospel? When people look at us and when

we share the gospel where they be convinced that God is good? Something for

us to reflect on. When we share the gospel to those around us,

we'll just fruits of our lives. Speak of God or of the devil.

Ouch. I've heard people, even friends in my circle, said I are

Christians are the worst? Who they say? One thing do the other.

They appear holy on Sunday, but at work they don't finish work. They

talk bad about us, and they still they don't contribute. Oh what kind

of reputation are we giving God with the way we live our life. It's

getting very silent here. But I believe the Lord is speaking to us and

convicting our hearts, even my own. Of course I share this. You

may feel some of us may feel a little bit condemned. Man, Man,

I'm the absolute worst. I said this the other day to this person.

I did this, I reacted, I responded this way. I didn't

make a smart decision, and I've hurt someone. I'm gonna come back to

some hope for us, all right, I'm gonna go back to my parable

of the fruit or chid. Of course, in scripture you read right,

every tree that does not bad good fruit is cut down in troning in to

the fire. Then you may be wondering, will I be cut down in

troning to the fire. But I've got good news for you. Do you

know that a bat tree I'm not talking about humans now, I'm talking bat

tree, batter. Do you know that a bad tree the best bad fruit

can be saved. Let me give you a little bit of knowledge that blew

my mind. Okay, now it can be done. You know, a

bad tree the best bad fruit can be by a process called grafting. For

those of you here who are into plants, you may know this. I'm

not, so this is new knowledge for me. But it can be done

by grafting branches from a tree that produces good fruit onto the branches of a

tree that produces badfruit. So you see this. Basically, what's happening here

is they chopped at this angle. They try to find either this is the

good fruit or the tree, the good tree or the bat tree. If

less it is the good tree or a bat tree, they will cut it

this way. They'll slice it here so that this one can interlock. They

see it the two lines. I'm not sure you can see it. It's

a bit small. It's like legola interlock. Okay. And then what they

try to do is they try to find the branches of the same diameter and

they will put it together, all right, so that is uh. Then

they will tie up together through a flagging tape. You can see that in

the next slide. All right, So many of them do it. This

way as well, putting the branches straight onto the bark. Yes, it

can be done, and it's a very well known way of doing it.

They'll put that together and they'll tie it tightly so that the whole surface area

is is in contact and water will flow. So when water flows, two

things happen. The tree starts to heal, they'll start to join together,

steal up, and then photosynthesis can happen. All right, and then you'll

produce fruit. And the tree is now if you look at the next light,

Yeah, so this is what happens next light. This is what happens.

It looks a bit ugly, but this what happens. They tie it

up, and what happens is that you see it fuses after it ties up.

This is the one that has been grafted in and then on the top

has been grafted onto the bark. And what happens is that you produce fruit.

You see the next line. I'm gonna talk to you about this tree.

What is all about this tree? What about the fruits are odd different

color, it's actually multiple fruits. So this tree la fand fact, you

can go look it up. This tree produces forty different fruits. So they

actually grafted different branches of different fruits onto the tree, and it produces forty

different fruits the actual tree. This is not a are just saying, okay,

the good news is this in the same manner. If we've been burying

bad fruit, there is hope. It's not the end of you. You're

not gonna be thrown and cut and training in the fire. Just like that,

we can be transformed, just like how the tree is transformed by grafting

Christ into our lives. A lot of good fruits that we see fruit of

the spirit. We all know these right kindness, patience, self control,

right own suffering. It's called fruit of the spirit for a reason because it's

not fruit of the flesh. If it's full of the flesh, it's things

that we will naturally be able to do. But it's called fruit of the

spirit because we need the Holy Spirit to invite the Holy Spirit to help you.

And this is why I want to share this. Because we can talk

about sharing the gospel. We can go and share the gospel as much as

we want, but if we ourselves have not gone through a transformation, people

are not going to be convinced by the gospel. God can still do some

miraculous things. But why can't we leave a life of example to those around

us? Can we leave a life where people look at us they go like,

man, I want to be on that. Man, How did this

person do that? How can this person in the midst of trials and difficulties

still smile? How can this person rushing deadliner can still have enough time for

family? How can this person serve interest so much but always number one in

classroom. I'm not saying that that is a prerequisitive, but I'm saying that

we can we leave a life that reflects Christ. This is fundamental, fundamental,

but it is not easy. It's simple, but it is not easy.

Let's look back at first timity fall talk again. I just want us

to focus in on the words being an example, in word, in conduct,

in love, in spirit, in faith, and impurity. And it's

going to be harder and harder to be an example. The world is going

topsy turvy and messing the definitions of all these things up. The world tries

to tell you how to speak. Cousin is okay, it's words. I

had someone tell me before seven. The effort is just a word. It's

a person that gives power to the word philosophical or if you don't give power

to the word, it's just a word. That's what they're they believe in.

I'm like no, we believe that life and death lies in the in

the in the tip of the tongue. The world tries to twist conduct.

Right, these are acceptable? Why is it not acceptable? Okay? Why?

Love? We all know this. The world has completely changed the death

nation of love. I don't have to go into detail for this spirit in

faith and in purity. I pray that these will become a reminder for all

of us on how we are called to live our life as Christians. You're

like it or not, we have a higher calling in the way we live

our life. Again, let's not be selfish, enjoy the goodness of the

Gospel to ourselves. If we are to share the Gospel to others, we

have to live a life that reflects the Gospel, reflects the love of God.
