  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. The title of the message today is something that

  3. I am very convicted about personally, okay. Uh. And and I I

  4. I'm a little bit of a rebel sometimes when I when I think about my

  5. faith, because I'm a reversed skeptical person, right uh. And it's very

  6. funny that I'm past up preaching because I'm res skeptical. So I feel God

  7. has a sense of humor. And now I always have this dialogue with human

  8. or me a little faith and I'm a and and sometimes I like to well,

  9. I want to say question, but I like to ponder about certain things,

  10. about certain practices we do, uh, you know, in church,

  11. about about how the church functions in general. And I come to this conclusion,

  12. and this is the title of my message today. Jesus came for everyone.

  13. Let me repeat it again. Jesus came for everyone. Jesus didn't just

  14. come for the middle upper income Christians that work in the city, that no

  15. heal songs, that wear suits and come to church, that can have a

  16. band and lights, and Jesus just didn't come for them. If I can't

  17. remember. Correct, Jesus didn't come for you know, uh, people who

  18. dress a Suddain way or look a certain way or no Christian needs. Jesus

  19. didn't just come, uh, you know, for the people who oh you

  20. know, I I know, I know the scripture. No, Jesus came

  21. for everyone. Okay, I don't know whether y'all are following me or not.

  22. Jesus came for everyone. Okay, let's let's go to scripture. Oh

  23. and and can I can I? Can I encourage you guys bring your bible

  24. to church, bring your physical bible to church. Okay, why let me

  25. let me go deeper a little bit. There are some practicers and this son

  26. I will equate for my Suddenly, I'm like gym browl at that steel is

  27. getting the brunt of it, because every day asking bro, you're gonna go

  28. gym or not today? Anyway. The one thing I've learned picking up this

  29. habit is that there are certain habits that are good that we should do.

  30. That it's not easy to do, and whenever we continue to do it,

  31. it will benefit us. Right for me, thankfully, it's benefiting me.

  32. By yesterday I bought the pants and I managed to buy one size smaller.

  33. Okay, slowly, but surely it will get that. My health has gotten

  34. better. But do you know it's difficult to go to the gym. But

  35. I think I've developed a habit. Habit. Now develop a habit where I

  36. don't go. I feel weird. It's come to the station, she dy,

  37. which is a good thing. Okay, but it's not been easy.

  38. Do you know? Can I share with you as a believer, one of

  39. the best habits you should have is to bring your Bible to church. Okay,

  40. oh, but then we got no no, no, guys, guys,

  41. if you forget to bring or you left it home, and you'll realize

  42. I'm not gonna knock you for that. But I also share that as human

  43. beings, when we continue to entertain comfort, it will become convenience and we

  44. will start taking things for granted. That's the problem human I'm not talking about

  45. you. I'm talking about human beings in general, and and the way to

  46. battle that is to develop good habits right when we when but when we want

  47. develop good habits is difficult. It's weird. People don't understand it. You

  48. know. One of the habits that I've developed is that I will bring my

  49. gym back, you know, to office. Because the moment I bring my

  50. gym back and I dress up, I have to go gym ready. Do

  51. you know that if I don't bring and I don't go, the habit not

  52. gonna continue, right, So one of the habits I want to encourage you,

  53. guys, and I share this in PJ. That course my own people,

  54. right, I can knock them a little bit. I gave them.

  55. I said, guys, can we by the end of this year be a

  56. church right that everybody brings their Bible? Can we be the cow church or

  57. not? Right? And it's not a oh no to be pro no,

  58. no, no, guys. It's so that we can open the Bible.

  59. And I hope that bringing to church and opening is not the first time opening

  60. a weekner. I hope, blah, I hope, because if it is,

  61. then I be worried for you, you know, because you can't just

  62. survive on food once a day, once a week, mon Corona. You

  63. need it constantly, right, You need to get into the work constantly.

  64. That's just our relationship with Christ, don't We will go into some foundational stuff.

  65. If you're getting a bit lost, someone encourage you to bring your Bible,

  66. and if you do not have a physical bible, passes Steven or by

  67. on for you. Okay, I trow it to him. Yeah, he's

  68. done it before. Okay, I have a few Bibles at home ready if

  69. I need to pass it to people. You know, and do you know

  70. that it's more difficult to get bibles now, right, I have this job

  71. Bible, I can run out battery one. You want to know the other

  72. good thing a Bible. When you read Bible, you don't get distracted by

  73. pop up messages. Right, physical Bible. Right, maybe the pop up

  74. message will be the Holy Spirit la, but not another other spirit. Okay,

  75. So please bring your bibles. Make it a point, and you don't

  76. have one, get one, you know. Yes it's gonna be difficult.

  77. Yes it's gonna be inconvenient, but you're developing a good habit. That's my

  78. encuragement for you. Okay. So let's read the word John chapter three.

  79. There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

  80. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, Rabbi,

  81. we know that you are a teacher. Come from God. For no one

  82. can do this science that you do unless God is with him. So Nicodemus,

  83. while he already taituma, go and see Jesus, right, go and

  84. not all not mourning or why? Of course he's scared. He knew that

  85. Jesus was very controversial. So and he's a leader, so he cannot be

  86. seen talking to Jesus in the daytime, right, you know? But look

  87. at how wonderful Jesus is. Jesus didn't judge him for it, right,

  88. but he recognized, he recognized that Christ was from God. Why because of

  89. the works he did? Do you know that you can recognize as someone is

  90. following Christ by the works in their life. Do you know that? That

  91. also means air? And I hope you guys don't the rasa. If you

  92. do, it's not me okay. That also means if there's no work happening

  93. in your life, are you gotta ask yourself? Am I read following Jesus?

  94. Not because he recognized through the works. Because God God doesn't see in

  95. the middle one it's hot or cold. And for those who follow Christ,

  96. you will see God's works in their life. You will see maybe miracles,

  97. maybe things. You will start seeing things, But when you follow other things,

  98. you will see other things. Right. So he recognized that, and

  99. Jesus answered and said to him most assuredly, I say to you, unless

  100. one is born again, he can not see the Kingdom of God. And

  101. Nicotimus said, how can a man be born when it's old? Can he

  102. enter a second time into his mother's home and be born? Wow? This

  103. guy came saw Jesus say hey, Jesus, right, I know you're from

  104. God and I want to talk to you. And Jesus gave him this mind

  105. blowing thought. Of course, now we all believers, we oh, we

  106. understand what's born again? I hope you do. If you're not, I

  107. will explain it after this. What does born again mean in our contexts?

  108. Okay? And he gave this really crazy idea. You know, huh,

  109. how can you be born again? John? How can you be born again?

  110. You mean you go back into your mother's womb? It gross? Right?

  111. Is he a physical kind of born again? He's confused, and Jesus

  112. continues, He said, most assurely, I say to you, unless one

  113. is born on water and of spirit, Okay, he cannot enter the Kingdom

  114. of God. That which is born of the flesh is the flesh, and

  115. that which is born of the spirits. We see what is Jesus talking about.

  116. That's a clear definition between what born again means. Right, do not

  117. marvel that I say to you, you must be born again. The wind

  118. blows, why it wishes, and you hear the soun of it, but

  119. cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who

  120. is born of the spirit. Nikodimus answered and said to him, how can

  121. this thing be? Jesus answered and said to him, are you the teacher

  122. of Israel? And do not know these things? Or Jesus too much like

  123. you? So Jesus quite sarcastic, or so you know, he asking,

  124. like, Jesus, what do you mean? And He's like, hey,

  125. you are one of the rulers of the Synergo, one of the teachers.

  126. You know the Bible, you know the Word of God. You mean you

  127. don't understand why Jesus be too much? Right? Jesus quite funny, and

  128. he can be sarcastic sometimes most surely, I say to you, we speak

  129. what we know and testify what we have seen, and you do not receive

  130. our witness. If I've told you earthly things, and you do not believe?

  131. How will you believe if I tell you how a many things? One

  132. of the things that I well, I remember pasted sharing this quote. Are

  133. we full of heavenly things? Or are we so concerned with heavenly things that

  134. we have no earthly use? Do you know that we're all here on this

  135. earth for a particular reason? Right, We've got to be very careful,

  136. as believe us, not to be too puffed up with heavenly things. You

  137. know. Oh, let's move in the spirit pass Stephen. Okay, I'm

  138. not mocking it. I'm just saying that, is it just that on me?

  139. Is it just hallelujah? Amen? Or is it more? How are

  140. we as believer us on this earth? Are we sort light? The Bible

  141. constantly talks about this, so Jesus, same thing you before, you talk

  142. about heavenly things? Are How are you on this earth? What come?

  143. Person? You? Right? How are you behaving right? No one has

  144. ascended to heaven but he who came down from heaven, That is the son

  145. of Man who is in heaven. This is another revelation. Do you know

  146. that none of us here have been to heaven? The last I check we

  147. have never been there. Do you know that it's very difficult to go to

  148. a particular place if you've never been there before. Okay, Josiah, come

  149. to my house. Okay, I stay in Charlam see me there. How

  150. you got waste? Right? I'm not going to give you a dress.

  151. Have you been in my house? You've never. You don't know how to

  152. get there. If I don't give you the address, I don't give you

  153. instruction, I don't give you anything, and I just say I'll see you

  154. there. Do you think Josiah be able to find my place? No,

  155. he won't be able to. He won't know where to go, so he

  156. won't know where to start. Us sow Jesus revelation. Why do we say

  157. that Jesus is the way the truth in life? Because he's the only one

  158. that has seen the Father. The Bible constantly says that he's the only one

  159. that's been to the Father. This world today tells you, hey, you

  160. know, there are many ways, you know, to go to Heaven,

  161. many ways. You just need to be a good person, John. You

  162. just need to do this, You just need to do that. You just

  163. need to do all these things. There are many ways. But I see

  164. all these bodle that tell you all the ways have they been to heaven?

  165. They've never been heaven. This guy has been to heaven. He came from

  166. there. Wouldn't it make sense to listen to him? This is why he's

  167. so confident. I am the only one. I'm the only way. You

  168. don't follow my way. You're not gonna, you're gonna You're not gonna arrive

  169. there. What is our conviction to their friends? There's something I gonna ask

  170. us. Okay, today, I hope that your faith will not be shaken

  171. by your be strengthened right because I'm gonna address certain foundational stuff that I hope

  172. that you will learn. Why we need to get all these things cleared in

  173. our life because if we don't know, no wonder that the devil will always

  174. best you this. Do you know that the devil will not lie outright lie

  175. to you? He won't. Even in Genesis it was not a full lie.

  176. No, it was a half truth, half lie. Do you know

  177. how we are deceived? There has to be a certain amount of truth inside

  178. because outright lie you will not really you will not believe one if it's outright

  179. lie. Let me give you an example, Kennef, do you know that

  180. Passus Steven such an awesome guy? But actually, yeah, he got this

  181. problem. You got this problem. You know his problem is he cannot stop

  182. eating. One can see it. He can see how he cannot stop eating.

  183. Can I also tell you that he don't exercise? You see, must

  184. be true the day I saw him at lunch or so in But can you

  185. see actually passes ye when he's a very fit guy. Okay, he's very

  186. fit. He doesn't he a lot or so, but you see her I

  187. gave you he's an awesome guy with you all agree, but then tell you

  188. you see her. He's always half truth, half flying. This is why

  189. we're a deceive. So you gotta be ware careful. Oh sign up for

  190. this thing. You are going to earn x amount of money. Be ware

  191. careful. You got to know the food truth. Today, I'm going to

  192. share the food truth for you. I hope we can take it right and

  193. I hope that will give you a revelation. Amen. So only true Jesus,

  194. we can go to the Father. And as Moses lifted up the serpent

  195. in the wilderness, even so must the son of Man be lifted up.

  196. That whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Wow.

  197. And this is the verse we all love. Okay, and quote a lot.

  198. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,

  199. that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God

  200. did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that

  201. the world true him might be saved. That is why there's no condemnation in

  202. Christ. This is why I say man is inherently good. Right. Why

  203. do I say that? Because we are meaning God's image, But because of

  204. sin, because of the influences of this world, we are affected. Why

  205. is this point important? Because the boss that you so hate, the person

  206. that offended you, God still loves a person and wants him to go to

  207. heaven, and he might use you, the one that has been offended to

  208. reach this person. Why men, Because the Bible ass to forgive because it's

  209. not about you. Can you receive it? This is very important? Okay,

  210. you don't believe like preach about that, Go listen to my last massage.

  211. This is why the Bible says we do not fight against flesh and blood,

  212. but against powers and principalities. It's about the influences of this world.

  213. It's not at people. Yeah, people are weird, but everyone is meaning

  214. God's image. So that's how we look at people differently. You know.

  215. That's how you can hate the sin but not the sinner. You gotta be

  216. able to separate it now. If not, you will be blinded. And

  217. it's very difficult to accept this. Amen. He who believes in him is

  218. not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has

  219. not believed in the name of the only be gotten Son. And this is

  220. the confidence that the light has come into the world. And men love darkness

  221. rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the

  222. light and does not come to the light, and his deeds should be exposed.

  223. But he who does the truth comes to the light that his deeds may

  224. be clearly seen that they have been done in God. So, friends,

  225. let's go back into Genesis. What is God's redemption plan? This is very

  226. important for us to catch as believers, because you can't say I don't believe

  227. in Genesis. There's one revelation I had recently, and I was watching this

  228. guy who is very big on creation science. Okay, what does creation science

  229. mean? It means that believe the science in the Bible. There's no such

  230. thing as Big Bang. Okay, there's no not no such thing as evolution.

  231. Something you might be like, ow can you acceperate it? Because if

  232. you can disprove the Bible's genesis story, you disprove the whole Bible. See

  233. what I mean by a deception. But this science, I mean sure or

  234. not, it's all theory. You know they cannot prove to you know?

  235. Do you know that? Do you know that the palontology cannot prove to you?

  236. It's all theory? Do you realize that? Right? And I've learned

  237. this other thing. I'm very careful now, do not say Bible story because

  238. when you use the word story sounds it's not true. Bible is not story,

  239. it is fact. Right, So we got to understand that. I

  240. can't go deeper into that. But I just give you some little little things

  241. to understand. Okay, And I'm not expecting you to take God and fight

  242. people. Please don't fight people. You yourself learned, use your catch and

  243. if God give you more revelation, then be more confident with your faith,

  244. right, So let's go back. What is God's plan? Well, I

  245. think my slices there. Oh oh not yet, bro, not yet.

  246. So God wanted why he got great human He wanted right a kingdom. He

  247. wanted subjects to worship him. And you know the Adam and you've got in

  248. made. They got it in made. They had all the food. They

  249. didn't have to work, right, they didn't Heaven have to keep up to

  250. the latest fashion because they're always up to date, right, No, no

  251. need that they can live forever. How awesome is that? And they had

  252. harmony you know right, meaning they didn't eat the animals. The animals all

  253. he was super chill. But what happened, What happened, scene came because

  254. all it took was a serpent to come and say, hey, Adam If

  255. more like I talk to If. Do you know that Adam was there when

  256. he was talking to If. He was there all the while, but he

  257. didn't say anything. That's like, guy, sir, the moment, you

  258. keep quiet now and don't say anything and let things happen now. Yealla,

  259. we're all start in this situation now. So many have to lead, No,

  260. many have to lead because you men don't lead, all will go down

  261. the drain, right, So who I blame? I blame Adam, not

  262. just people blame. If I say Adam was there the whole way, he

  263. didn't say anything, and he was there before if he could say something,

  264. but he didn't, why he also hes one whatever that the serpent had to

  265. offer. Hey not yet, bro Chill, chill, chill. I still

  266. take telling story. But unfortunately, despite how awesome life was, there was

  267. still that yearning for something more. See, they had everything, you know,

  268. but they were deceived. Why, hey, God, they don't didn't

  269. say you were sure. God didn't say yeah, I know, he said

  270. you were dire, but you won't really die. You will be more like

  271. him. Do you know that there's a lie? Because God already made at

  272. them. And if in his image they already had everything, they really looked

  273. like God, really, what else? One you? Somehow? But the

  274. serpents say, hey, not enough flower, you need more. That's say

  275. something a minute. Some of your lives you mean, John, you're happy

  276. now you got a baby, and not enough flow. Your house so small?

  277. You need a bigger house, John, John, your shoes, your

  278. shoes is not good enough. Not the littest fashion you need nicer shoes.

  279. Hey, John, what come ipet is that? You know? Even using

  280. an ipet you should get the littlest I pad. You know your life is

  281. not complete deception? Yeah, he really has everything. No do you think

  282. he needs? You? Asked John? Now do you need everything? Maybe

  283. before the sun comer, he wanted what do you want? BS five?

  284. Okay, I don't know what he wanted. Lad, I use my said

  285. example. Before my son came, I see, it was considering shy by

  286. a best wife. The moment my son came, all these things not important?

  287. Really everything. I don't mind spending money on my kids. Not so

  288. good la okay, self control. But there was a change because you recognize

  289. what is not important. But the serpent comes to deceive. So are we

  290. being deceived? Not enough, Steven and not enough? God is so good?

  291. Right, so my job has to be better. He's not enough.

  292. Peace is not enough. I must have something more? So what happened?

  293. Fail? Fail? Now you can press so? Yeah, I really feel

  294. anyway. So first story, God wanted the kingdom, but unfortunately men fail,

  295. and sin came to this world and men became more and more evil.

  296. Friends, I don't need to point finger at anyone. Look at the world

  297. today. Is the word getting better or worse? You ask yourself, No,

  298. it's getting better. Things are awesome. People are accepting everything now.

  299. Is that good? The Bible says men will men? How to say,

  300. men will be God's They want to be God's in their own right, and

  301. they want to whatever that was the scripture, Say again, I forgot the

  302. scripture. I quoted it just now. Basically, they will do things right

  303. in their own eyes. That's what men will do continuously. Do you know

  304. that it's not a new story. It's an old story. Why come,

  305. Noah? Noah? Change to Noah? Oh if the world he's so better

  306. than God, you just wipe out everybody. He tried it once ready,

  307. he really tried it once it got worse, and it wasn't worse right.

  308. Men became more and more evil. They did all kinds of things. And

  309. God was like, God was so disappointed with his creation. Oh, man,

  310. I made this. How many of you have felt disappointed? Right John?

  311. Not yet? Noa, no disappointed your creation, you know? And

  312. and God was like, you know, I feel like wiping everyone out.

  313. But God still has a heart. And he said all in need is one

  314. person, one person that would change my mind, and Noah presenting Noah the

  315. one person that changed his mind, and God said, Okay, this guy's

  316. gonna do it. He's gonna do it. Then Noah did his thing and

  317. got wiped out, wiped out everyone. He did himself. He wiped out

  318. everyone left Noah. And then you know what happened. Because scene is still

  319. around. It's the same problem, no because see is still around. Nothing

  320. changed. Just one few verses down. You read the Bible, read yourself.

  321. Yeah, I'm not gonna go deep into it. Just a few verses

  322. down and I messed up again, fail again, fail again. Then God's

  323. like, how right? Give them the thought of me? Cannot right?

  324. Wipe them out? Also cannot. How so God had to say, you

  325. know what, I have to do it in my way. You know,

  326. I'm not gonna rely on anybody. I'm gonna you know how they say,

  327. you want to get a job done, do it yourself. That's what God

  328. did. That's why we have Abraham, the man of faith. Do you

  329. know that the covenant that God made with Abraham was a covenant God for fear

  330. himself. Do you know that in any partnership, both parties have to you

  331. know, offer something. But do you know in the Covenant that God gave

  332. to Abraham, God set to both sides. God say, don't do anything

  333. because I really trust men ready and I did, and let that know.

  334. Don't let me set everything. I will make you righteous. I will.

  335. You just need to obey me. Just do that one simple thing. Just

  336. obey me. Don't come on here an, I just just obey and everything

  337. will be okay. And then came Jesus. God had to do it through

  338. himself, literally himself. Why because God is the son of Man, son

  339. of God. Right, and Jesus came. So let's see what what is

  340. God's redemption plan? So we have a problem here, Sin. You can

  341. say, Ohvin, but I'm not an awful person. I'm not a guys.

  342. No matter what you say, at the end of the day, we

  343. all still fallen. We have lied before, we have cheated before, we

  344. have had bought bad thoughts before. So don't need to argue you're not an

  345. awful person. I already established that you are not awful person. Just because

  346. they're see now doesn't mean that all you're the worst person in the world.

  347. Sometimes you feel like that, but you're not okay. You're got's creation,

  348. you've got children. Well, once you accept Christ, then you get into

  349. his family. But that's sin. There's a problem here. Sin is the

  350. problem. And we've seen there is eternal what's the punishment of sin? Eternal

  351. death right? And that's what happens. But there is this person that we

  352. should step into and we can't do it ourselves. Noah tried, Adam tried.

  353. We can't. So in the end have to rely on Jesus. So

  354. because Christ, he is sinless, that's what we believe in our friends.

  355. For those who who are believers, And I hope this is not new to

  356. you. Are I hope it is not. I hope you can't know it.

  357. Why am I teaching you this so that the next time someone asks you

  358. what do you believe in Jesus? Are you can share this story with them.

  359. This is just a brich illustration to give us an understanding about our faith.

  360. You need to notice so they can confidently. So then now when you

  361. are confuser, you can go back to say, okay, because of Jesus,

  362. I'm fine, because if not, then the devil come and say,

  363. hey you sure not? You holy? You should know you're good enough.

  364. You need work more. You need to come more. Nothing you can do,

  365. nothing you can do, will make you more clean only by the blood

  366. of Christ. That is our belief. So don't be deceived. Don't be

  367. deceived. There is a purpose, and there's eternal life, but only to

  368. Christ, no other way. And when we step into it, we have

  369. eternal life. There is no condemnation. No, that's why he says here

  370. he didn't come to condemn the world, but he came to save it.

  371. Who are we as believers to condemn each other? Who are we as believers

  372. to condemn other people? Why is that condemnation? Sometimes because we have sin,

  373. that's why. But if we have Christ in us, no condamnation,

  374. guys, no condamnation because Christ is inside Amen. And thankfully we pass from

  375. death to life. So God's redemption plan is Christ can be next life.

  376. And you want to know what it worked? It worked, Praise God.

  377. It worked two thousand years ago. It worked, and that is why we

  378. have the church today, and that is why we appreciate Jesus today. And

  379. that is why different ones here are experiencing God today. Something that happened a

  380. long time ago. We are still experiencing the answer. The grace, the

  381. power, and that is powerful. That is God's redemption plan. This is

  382. why we share Christ. That's why we encouraged toole to share Christ. Amen,

  383. praise Scott. But what is God's strategy? Let's learn a little bit.

  384. Okay, what is god strategy at the end of the day. Next

  385. thing. It's okay, take your time, bro, It's a drum roll

  386. now, because God has a strategy. He has There is a strategy that

  387. God has and we are waiting for it. Yes, his strategy is to

  388. use men and woman, okay, to use back his creation. See,

  389. he made a way ready, and the way is Christ. He made a

  390. way ready. Why Christians so happier even though bad things happen. Why Christians

  391. can not bribena even though everybody does it? Why the moment though? What

  392. Christian kind? The picture? There is an expectation now because it is a

  393. way that has been made by God. It is a way. This is

  394. the way, and he uses his creation. Why do I say that?

  395. Look at how Jesus, guys. If Jesus was the one that would be

  396. used by God all the timer, he wouldn't die there do you know that

  397. he died? He rose from the day he hang out for forty days,

  398. he was around for forty days or why, so that he can prove to

  399. be beple that he's alive, prove to whole proof to all his disciples are,

  400. guys, I'm around. Whatever I've been saying is true, and all

  401. the disciples are were willing to be hell because of the truth. So whoever

  402. that wants to disprove the gospel, friends, can you please don't be so

  403. easily shaken. Whatever we believe is real one, don't be deceived, don't

  404. be unsure. Okay, So he uses people three years three years he showed

  405. the disciples the way. He ate with them. He walked with them.

  406. He said, follow me. That's what Christ did. That's why they knew.

  407. They knew true scripture. He fulfilled scripture. But they also walked with

  408. him. That's why they wrote the Gospels, so that the rest of us

  409. can learn and know this Jesus. That's why the Four Gospels is important for

  410. us. Yes, the whole Bible is, but the four Gospels it is

  411. important. It is the basis of our faith, which is the way,

  412. the truth, and the life. To show the way through Jesus yet yet

  413. right to show the way through Jesus. Because Jesus said, I'm the way

  414. the trouble just now. But no, don't show that. And what is

  415. the strategy is this discipleship. We are very big on discipleship. Ex No,

  416. why are because Jesus did it la. It's as simple as that.

  417. You know how messy discipleship is. It's so messy. You know. One

  418. minute, now, jes say, who do you say? I am Peter,

  419. Peter, the guy closest Jesus. Jesus, you're the son of God,

  420. the creator. Next minute, now Jesus have to rebuke him. Get

  421. thee behind me, Saturn. Wow, next minute, you know this is

  422. discipleship. Welcome to discipleship. Those of you dicipition, you understand this.

  423. One minute you're on a month top. Next minute you cannot rebew. But

  424. Peter still followed Jesus to the end. Why so that he learned the way

  425. and so that he can pass on the way, the way, the truth

  426. and alive Jesus Way. That's why he said follow me. And what we're

  427. following. We are following Jesus, his teachings, his way and God's truth.

  428. Let me tell you what I like the word discipleship and I don't really

  429. like the word mentorship. No use the word men thoring. Mentoring tells you

  430. that I know more than your follow me as a follow Christ follow me.

  431. I don't really like that. Discipleship my is Hey, you know what,

  432. guys, I know a little bit. But let's look to Jesus together.

  433. Do you know there's a difference there. There's a very big difference. Who

  434. is the focus. It's not me here, it's Christ. I don't know

  435. everything, so let's look at what Jesus did. Let's let's follow him.

  436. Let's follow him together. Right. Yes, I'm trying, and I'm the

  437. I'm the I'm the visual representation for you now here, the Jesus that you

  438. know, who is the Jesus that your friends and family can see in your

  439. life. Will you, even there say that you are Christ to them because

  440. we are supposed to look more and more like him. Yeah, following Jesus.

  441. That's God strategy. I'm talking about got strategy. You know. Jesus

  442. came three years show everybody everything, bye bye, and then the disciples are

  443. through the life changing experience transformation. They share the truth to everyone. Can

  444. we go next? Next? Yeah? Next? I already shared this ready,

  445. So can I share another revelation with you? Is it easy being a

  446. Christian? No? No, you know why. Bible already say enter by

  447. the narrow gate. For white it is the gate, and broad is the

  448. way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go by it,

  449. because narrow is the gait, and difficult is the way which leads to life,

  450. and there are few who find it. So, friends, can I

  451. be really honest with you if your life as a believer is super easier?

  452. I a bit not sure whether or not you're really foreign Chrismer, because the

  453. Bible really say it's not gonna be easy. I'm not kissing you are guys?

  454. You know why not? Because it's actually easier to be better and it's

  455. hard to be good, and the Bible says the road is narrow. So

  456. what are decisions you're making as you're following Christ? Follow Christ is not just

  457. coming in chestional. Following Christ is your day to day. That is the

  458. power for full in Christ. He's not going to be easy. It is

  459. not for those of you who want you know, Can I share with you

  460. what is the process? So we normally have a prayer at the end of

  461. the service, to say, hey, guys, if you want to follow

  462. Jesus, you've never received him as your personal law and savior. Right,

  463. you can raise up your hands, will pray together. See it's an indicator.

  464. Pray together. Do you know what happens in that commitment? Because following

  465. God is the commitment. Recently I saw a video he said, do you

  466. know the whole idea about do you believe in God? You know the idea

  467. about believing in God? It's not just all I believe it exists, like

  468. I believe the two Fairy exists, or I believe centix is. No,

  469. when you say I believe in God, now you are saying. What you're

  470. really saying is you believe and you follow every single thing that he says.

  471. No, if you don't follow and just say oh I believe, that means

  472. it's just a thought. You don't fully believe, because fully believing means fully

  473. following. You know that's full belief. Right. It was quite revelational for

  474. me. You know, there is a process that happens when we say Jesus

  475. come into my life. So Nicodemus, Jesus already say born again. Now

  476. we will be born again? Right, So this us so do we get

  477. born again physical birth, and then we become renewed more buff. Now I

  478. got superpower, guys, I'm a Christian. I got superpower. I can

  479. shoot laser out my eyes while whoever I touch you will get here. Is

  480. it just about that? Is it a physical thing that happens? No,

  481. it's not. What is the process? What does Jesus mean when you talk

  482. about being born again? It's a spiritual rebirth. The flesh is the flesh.

  483. We are still fighting against the flesh, but it's the spiritual rebirth.

  484. Jesus said, you were baptized by water and by the spirit sprayce fire,

  485. sprayce holy Spirit. What is water? Whatter baptism? Why is what the

  486. weaptism important for a believer? Even non believers know is important? What is

  487. what the baptism for? Is it for God? Is it for you?

  488. It's for you? You know you know why, because you die to self

  489. full emergent and you are raised as a new creation. It is a physical

  490. symbolic showdown because anybody that goes through what the baptism and comes up, you

  491. know you cannot make the same decision anymore. That's how a lot of people

  492. can hold off water baptism because they still want to play in both sides.

  493. It's true a lot of people, you realize once you go through water baptism

  494. is like not turning back. You know, there's a reason no turning back

  495. right past Stephen, not turning back baptism, because you die to self and

  496. you're raised to Christ and there is a rebirth. It is a spiritual rebirth.

  497. And then you have baptism or fire baptism or the Holy Spirit being affected

  498. day by day. Right, that is the baptism that happens. And what

  499. is the things that things that happen when that happened. What happens when there's

  500. a spiritual rebirth, your mind and your heart is renewed. It's all in

  501. the Bible. Can you go next Romans tilp too, and do not be

  502. confirmed by this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

  503. that you may prove what is that good and acceptable, perfect way of God.

  504. See religion. Now people say, oh, you learn good things for

  505. us is deeper than that. It's not just about learn good things, do

  506. good things. Though. There is a renewer of mind, no longer evil

  507. but good, no longer darkness but light when you're offered an easy way out

  508. when you break the law, what are you gonna do after you are rebirth

  509. as a believer? What is the decisions you make on a daily basis that

  510. is so important? This why is not easy being a Christian? Guys,

  511. there is a renewing of your mind. And don't worry, You're not doing

  512. it alone. There is some some some things that will die away. But

  513. let's just talk about this a little bit. Your mind will be renewed,

  514. you know. I you know at the end of the day, right when

  515. you become believer, right, you will be transformed. You cannot you cannot

  516. not be transformed. You will be transformed. I've been transformed, you know,

  517. ever since I was married. I'm transformed from young Andenna. I'm transforming.

  518. I'm constantly being transformed. When you follow Jesus, you cannot be not

  519. transformed. So if you are not transformed in between the lives, are you

  520. fully submitted to Christma. That's a good question to ask yourself now, because

  521. those who follow in Christ and they will be changed one and change for the

  522. better, not the worst one. Now, I just tell people is one

  523. of my desires is that I want to grow old to be a you know

  524. when you grow already. I want to grow to be a friendly old uncle

  525. that anybody can come up and talk to one, not the grumpy or uncle

  526. nobody and talk to them. You know, there's just two perfway two good

  527. things out there. Number one is I grow old and not that young la

  528. okay, pray Scott. Second thing is how do I get there? There

  529. has to be a transformation. Another desire I have is that every time I

  530. speak to people, I want to be able to leave the conversation with them

  531. or encourage because I have the Holy Spirit in me. See again, it's

  532. not my own flesh, you know, because to be really honest, right,

  533. my flesh won't be able to fulfil it. One I will fail one.

  534. I'm a very direct but you know me personally, I'm a very direct

  535. person, a red metal of fact person. Now some of you also probably

  536. offend that really, but only through the Holy Spirit that I can change.

  537. Only through following God and walking in the Spirit, I'm able to encour people.

  538. There is that transformation that happens not by my own strength and violation,

  539. but by the leading of God, by the understanding of His word, by

  540. the following his commandments, and by being sensitive to the spirit, I submit

  541. myself. There are a lot of things are my interestive thoughts I want to

  542. say, but it won't come out on no, because the spirit captures it.

  543. Amen. So there's a renewing of mind. This is what I mean

  544. by being reborn. And then what happens next. You shall love the Lord

  545. your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your

  546. mind. This is the first and greatest commonments. Second of the second,

  547. you shoul love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments. Hang all

  548. the long and brophers. Can I share? You're a revelation I had when

  549. I was really young, and gonna be a little bit ball saying this,

  550. But when I was young, I was I also had I mean, we

  551. don't really use the word depression last time, okay, but as a young

  552. person said, last set and there were a lot of times where I feel

  553. very sad. But I don't know why I caught this principle that when I

  554. think of myself, I become allset on woe is me? A lot of

  555. things not going on, but the moment I think about others are and the

  556. moment I think about God immediately it changes. You know. When God shares

  557. this scripture to us, he knew He knows us because when humans continue to

  558. focus on ourselves, right, we will be not happy on but the moment

  559. we think about other people and the more thing about God, the focus not

  560. on our self. It'll be hard to be unhappy about stuff that you don't

  561. think about, right, And you are to know the powerful thing about that,

  562. even God said in scripture metal Sexey three sickly second God and all shape

  563. added to you. The one other thing that I've learned is that when my

  564. focus is on God and other people, I will be fulfilled. Somehow things

  565. will happen, either it's God or whatever. But that's know, this sense

  566. of like lack or know, the sense of like. I mean the word

  567. they use this depression. Now now, okay again, Now I'm not don't

  568. get me wrong. Now, I'm not oversimplifying it. I'm just telling you

  569. what I caught from this scripture. When there's a renewing of your mind and

  570. when your heart is renewed, you take a different perspective about things. But

  571. you want to know what the world teaches you. The world teaches you to

  572. focus on yourself. The world teaches you to think about yourself more. Let

  573. me just use social media as an example, very good example, social media.

  574. What does social media glorify self? Why do we spend so long taking

  575. a photo and putting it online so that people like it. Let's be honest.

  576. And when people don't like and when people don't notice, then we feel

  577. it cause people don't care. Right, where's your focus myself? But when

  578. I just think about artists, it takes a different focus. So this scripture

  579. is very revelation. Now if we catch it. Love the Lord your God

  580. with all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbors, yourself.

  581. Did you even talk about you? You know? But somehow you be

  582. fulfilled? Amen. And this is the way that Christ has shown us.

  583. So who or what will guide our way? We are not left alone?

  584. Who or what? Let me show you the first one. There are only

  585. two things. Number one is God's word the Bible. Last thing about it

  586. for a moment. Sixty six books written, thirty nine in the Old Testament

  587. and twenty seven in the New Testament. True the span of more than one

  588. thousand years. One thousand years guys, okay, where the authors of the

  589. Bible came from different groups of people, kings, slaves, fishermen, shepherd's

  590. teachers, and even murderers. Some knew each other, especially those that lived

  591. during the time that Jesus is around, but a lot of them didn't know

  592. each other. Yet the words in the Bible does not contradict each other,

  593. and many of their stories flow in chronological order. The words inspired by the

  594. Holy Spirit. That's what we believe in. Friends, it is very hard

  595. to be consistent with such a fact. This is a factor. It's not

  596. even a noa. This is a fact. Why are we still And there

  597. are a lot of people that wants to disprove the Bible. The world is

  598. one thing. To disprove the Bible. People that don't believe you want to

  599. disprove it. Lot, you know, happy man or you you know you

  600. think that we're bluffing people, so you want to disprove it. But how

  601. do you justprove something so crazy? Friends, do not be deceived, Canna,

  602. can I encourage you? Don't be so easily shaken. It passes you.

  603. And you know how the Bible not a real one? Why God's called

  604. contradiction. But what is real in the Bible? Truth? You know,

  605. you know how, you know how sometimes the devil mess you you like I

  606. say, true deception. Right. They won't talk about the testimonies that you

  607. experience, the life to experience, the science that comes. They will only

  608. talk about the things that you're not sure about. So you either educate yourself,

  609. which can be quite have for a lot of us, or where does

  610. your hope lie in the words of men or in God? If you're not

  611. sure about anything, can you please ask God? Can you please talk to

  612. your you know, brothers and sisters here in the church, right, because

  613. then we can protect one another. You want to, he says here Joshua

  614. wanted. The Book of the Law shall not depart your mouth, but you

  615. shall meditate on it day and night. Then you may observe to do according

  616. to all that written for then you will make your way prosperos, and then

  617. you will have good success. Let me give you the second guide, the

  618. Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit just means God's presence. Okay, He's the

  619. helper that was promised to us x one. It says, but you shall

  620. receive power when the Holy spirits come upon you, and you shall be witnesses

  621. to me in Jerusalem in all Juda and Samaria and to the end of the

  622. earth. We cannot discount the Holy Spirit. How are you able to navigate

  623. this world? There has to be this sernmon. There has to be the

  624. Holy Spirit there. You've got to go deeper in your relationship. You gotta

  625. recognize God's presence and his voice. Don't just rely on people. Don't just

  626. rely on me or pastor Steven. You know. Can you not succord your

  627. faith to the pastors or the leaders? Can you take your own responsibility on

  628. your own faith because there will be other things that will come to mess with

  629. you, you know? Right? And again? Now, to be really

  630. honest, I'm also man. I might have said some few things that are

  631. wrong. Are you going to allow me say off your own things to affect

  632. your faith? Can you all think about it? Have your own faith?

  633. Go deeper in the world, ask the Holy Spirit, ask for the sernmon

  634. from the Lord. He will speak to you quite crazy, right his faith?

  635. You want to know the other way around? Guys, are you know

  636. what? Don't listen to anybody. Just listen to me, okay, just

  637. listen to me. I have all the words of truth. Okay, don't

  638. listen to pass Steven or so maybe a bit la. But listen. Make

  639. sure you listen to me only. Don't listen any other Am I saying that?

  640. No, I'm saying please go and talk to the Holy Spirit. Please

  641. talk to other people, you know, because I'm very confident that God speak

  642. to you. You don't have to rely on man. Very confident recognize how

  643. to make those decisions. Amen. Sorry, I'm going a bit over time,

  644. so I'll speak up a little bit. So what do we receive when

  645. we follow Christ? Okay? First thing we receive is purpose romans etuny,

  646. it says, and we know that all things work together for good to those

  647. who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. We

  648. also repeat, sorry. We also receive peace. Peace is one of the

  649. most important things I feel that Christian has. Right, John fourteen twenty seven

  650. says peace. I live with you, my peace. I give to you,

  651. not as the world gives you. Do. I give you to you.

  652. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Only

  653. Christians are have the peace are then no matter how crazy things get that you

  654. guys say this is smile with Christ in the vessel. We can smile at

  655. the storm. Smile, crazy liar, this fellow. The world is going

  656. down and ring you still smilinger. How come you've got such peace on her?

  657. Only Christians have? Why? Bible promises he is very metal of fact.

  658. I'm not even going into the whole or white how No, no,

  659. we're crazy, la, We're not of this Wilmer, but we're in this

  660. world. We receive power Second Conveniance Chap. Nineteen. And he said to

  661. me, my grace is sufficient for you. My strength is made perfect in

  662. weakness. Therefore, most gladly, I would read a boast in fine infirmities

  663. that the power of Christ may rest upon me. And this power that God

  664. gives us is from the Holy Spirit. Power to be witnesses, power to

  665. pray for healing. Why do Christians always believe that we can pray and people

  666. get healed? But what of God? As simple as that God say he

  667. can means? Can? Oh? Do you know? No? Only only

  668. John John got a healing Give no, no, no, Bibel, don't

  669. say that everyone here can pray for healing. That's power? No, do

  670. you realize that that's power? Again? Ah, it is not your responsibility

  671. whether it happened or not that why is God's problem? No complain, go

  672. go why pray? Then you know he can you please do something. But

  673. there's really power. That's why we must do it fervently. The fourth thing,

  674. to me is one of the most important things that we receive when we

  675. follow Christ, which is God's presence. Yes, it's God starts commanment.

  676. But this scripture to me is like very comforting because he says, teaching them

  677. to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo I am with

  678. you always, even to the end of the age. Friends, no matter

  679. how bad life is, no matter how crazy things get, no matter how

  680. sad you feel, no matter how crazy things are. One day, I

  681. don't know whether or not XBO will still be around or not. One day

  682. maybe your friends are going to be true. I don't know what's going to

  683. happen. But Jesus will never leave you. That's a promise. You gotta

  684. hold that closely. People leave you, but Christ will never leave you.

  685. He said, I will be for you until the end of the age,

  686. until you die. You hold on to him. He will hold on to

  687. you. Remember that truth, God's presence. What's stopping us from sharing about

  688. Jesus. Let's just run through a few things. Okay, fear, let's

  689. be on. I'm gonna call it out on other guys. Prejudices, what

  690. race, la, language, maybe social status? Right? All these are

  691. men's construct We want to talk about men's construct. All men's construct the construct

  692. of society. Right. What are the other things that stop us? Maybe

  693. our own mind? Have we subjected our mind to God? Now? Our

  694. want experiences? Oh? You know my boss offended me? La? Yeah,

  695. because off I hope you go to hell? Does that stop us from

  696. you know, from sharing about Jesus. Maybe it's our environment. Not easy

  697. to share about Christ here? Right? Maybe? Yeah, no, no,

  698. no, in ches can in chest can very easy. We just need

  699. to braced a lot. Everything can. But outside my office are very hot,

  700. low environment. Maybe it's people offenses. I give you the example.

  701. Ready. Maybe it's generational gap. Is that when we grow up? Do

  702. you know that wrote music from the Devil? Do you know that the morning?

  703. Now you listening to these kind of things? Everything is the money last

  704. time? Now a sola? Right? Is it generational gap? One of

  705. the things I'm proud of about chests, right, is that we never allow

  706. generational get man to affect the way we relate to people. But it's just

  707. all young people. Hello, I'm not very younger. He's not about young

  708. or older. It's about Christ. Christ came for everyone, right is he?

  709. Our preferences passas Steven and white, so low to white, wear suit

  710. and tie. Now we must be more relevant, must wear jeans, the

  711. latest you know kicks? Right? You think I don't know these terms?

  712. I know one of my things say more happening than her? Becuse I know

  713. all these terms you know? And then right, why we don't like men?

  714. We don't like just your old men's busser? Steven, Can I show

  715. you something that I hope Bassa will share? You preach about power of praise

  716. last week in PJ was a very powerful preaching. One of the things right

  717. that we are proud of in our church is that we dress up. I'm

  718. not dressing up for you, I'm dressing up for the King of Kings and

  719. a lot of lots. Do you think it's comfortable to wear the suit?

  720. Not comfortable? Do you think it's easy upon this suit? There was one

  721. right I forgot I was I was sneakers, right, There was once I

  722. didn't wear my you know now every morning my wife who remind me I was

  723. sneakers. No, I had to borrow someone's shoes. No, God,

  724. I was going to preach that day. Right. It's not easy, but

  725. I do it because of my fiction, because someday I learn in this church

  726. and I'm proud of it. I don't have to look like people out there.

  727. You mean you wear a certain way? You need you look like Christian?

  728. Hello? Are we getting our priorities in order? Why are we arguing

  729. about dressing? Do you know that we accept you no matter what you were

  730. here? We will, but if you come to this church, we will

  731. also teach you. La, I learned that we dress up for the King

  732. of Kings, not for my leaders, not for the people around. I'm

  733. not even dressing up for you. I'm dressing up for the King of Kings.

  734. That is my conviction. And I tell you it's such a powerful preaching

  735. by Passer right about how we believe in it, because we always say,

  736. you know, if you can dress up to go see algon, why can't

  737. I dress up to go see Jesus on Sunday. He's very simple And again,

  738. we're not knocking you. I'm not knocking out of people. People can

  739. do whatever you want to do. But is it just about dressing and preferences?

  740. Oh you're don't sing enough hymns? La? Why only sing extra song?

  741. I singing more? Other church? I don't want name names? Are

  742. that gets stone? Are the chishong ladies? More more? Spirit? Cannot

  743. Why you cant see our own chashonga? So are we allowing preferences to even

  744. affect our unity? Guys? There are certain things that we practice here that

  745. we have a reason to want. You don't know why? Ask as the

  746. CBC CBC canno tell you, I apologize. Ask John John's long you know

  747. be here? You know? But friends, what is stopping us? Let

  748. me take a step back. What is stopping us from experiencing God's love?

  749. Let's think about you. Let's put it in our heart first. What is

  750. stopping us from experiencing al I'm going to finish you ready. Romans eight thirty

  751. five says, who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation

  752. or distress, or persecution, of famine or nakedness, or peril or sword?

  753. Romans aid the the eight that the nine says for I am persuaded that

  754. neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor

  755. things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor death, nor

  756. any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of

  757. God, which is Christ, Jesus our Lord. Nothing, nothing can separate

  758. us from experiencing God's love. Your past, you might be still in sin

  759. right now. You yourself can never separate, The world might go down the

  760. drain. Nothing can separate us. Do you know that this is a comforting

  761. thought for us, that nothing can separate us from God's love. Let me

  762. flip it a little bit. What is stopping our non believing friends and family

  763. from experiencing God's love? You think about it, You think about it.

  764. My last point is now, when I read the Bible, may we read

  765. what Christ did. Jesus right, he's such an amazing person. He reached

  766. out to the Samaritan woman. He reached out to little children. That's such

  767. a powerful scripture. Every scripture that's written here is for us to learn something.

  768. You know. No, the children came, Oh Jesus, hey,

  769. hello, Lo Lord is Javis? No No nona kids quiet Chavisa, pleass

  770. don't stop them from coming to me. If any of you here have faith

  771. like that man, you will see the King of Heaven. Wow, Jesus

  772. reaching out. See he's breaking our mindset. He reaches out to your chldren.

  773. Who else he reached out to? Zechias Sekias was the text collector.

  774. Everybody hited him. Everybody knew who he is. Short guy. He had

  775. to compensate for his higher by taking more Texas. Rich guy. Jesus,

  776. go and see the fore little wire batman gossip. You know, say I'm

  777. going to repay tree transform. That is the response of a changed life.

  778. You know, because he met Jesus once. Nico de Mus came in the

  779. middle of the night, scared, scared Jesus, Wow, meet him.

  780. Didn't turn him away, Gyrus and his family. Jesus reached out to him.

  781. Even the rich young ruler there was not name. Jesus reached out to

  782. him. He rejected Christ. There will be some people that will reject you.

  783. Unfortunately, there will be I've come to accept that. Really, even

  784. when I preach you, I know there will be something that will reject It's

  785. okay, I pray to God'll speak to you. He basically reached out to

  786. everyone he comes in contact with. That is a christis friends. I'm sharing

  787. this with you to help us with our mindset. Firstly, we got to

  788. understand our foundation. If you have been a believer for a long time and

  789. you don't catch all these things, I hope today I will give you a

  790. revelation at the end of the day. Is teaching for learning, for understanding,

  791. so that you will not get discouraged, so that you will grow in

  792. your faith, so that if you forget it, I say that day.

  793. Oh okay, I have a few were disguision, Hawa Christ, go back

  794. to Jesus. Hey, my friend, that they ask me why I believe

  795. in Christ? Share him the breach illustration. There are many other tools out

  796. there, not just to share, but also for you to grow. But

  797. more importantly is I give this example in BJ just now, I apologize for

  798. going a bit over time. There was a homeless guy coming in here.

  799. I asked myself this question, homeless guy coming here smells bad? Never bathe?

  800. Am I good to embrace the person? Or am I not more concerned

  801. my soul? Something you think about now? I think God is stirring my

  802. heart as well. To be open in my mind about sound these things.

  803. You got to be really honest, I said, where skeptical, where fast

  804. judge people? But then God go aheads transformed me. He's opening up my

  805. eyes to see more things. So friends, I pray that we will see

  806. that Christ wants to come for everyone, not just as we can enjoy ourselves

  807. here. But it's not just us. He wants to come for everyone.

  808. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information on our church,
