Perfect Timing | Dr Jill Ling

You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

will light up your day. X Chapter three, verse one. So just

to set the context, X Chapter one was when Jesus promised the disciples that

the Holy Spirit will come upon them, but they need to wait, okay.

X Chapter two was when the Holy Spirit actually came upon the disciples,

one hundred and twenty of them that were waiting in the Upper Room. So

there was the day of Pentecost where the Holy Spirit came to the earth.

Okay. And so X Chapter three is basically the opening chapter of the miracles

that happened after the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples. All right, so

you catch me there. Okay, Now let's just read this first verse.

It says, now Peter and John went up together to the Temple at the

hour of prayer. So our hour prayer is not just bluck out from anywhere,

I believe us. It was inspired even by this phrase, the hour

prayer. We have an hour prayer in ex Church every Tuesday one to two

pm online, and you can join us if you are free or if you

have a need. Yeah, and okay, So they went up to the

temple. This is the temple in Jerusalem at the hour of prayer, the

ninth hour. Okay, we're gonna pause at this first verse for the first

point. We can actually learn so much from this verse verse. Now,

yeah, we can show the next slipe. So we are very used to

our modern day timing. Right, what time is it now? Guys?

Yeah, look at your watch? What time is it now? To twenty

ish? Okay, my watch says to twenty five, but I know my

watch, yeah, depending on a few minutes difference are some of your watches?

Okay? So this is the modern day timing that we're all used to.

Is two twenty something now on the clock? Now, the Jews,

they live by a different timing. How many of you here are familiar with

Jewish timing? Raise your hands? Okay, thank you, sir. Anyone

else you're familiar with Jewish timing the Jewish clock? Okay, today we learn

something newer general knowledge. So for the Jews, right their day? Okay,

sorry, the previous, the previous. Yeah, let's just keep on

this for the Okay, what time do you see on the clock there?

Six? Okay, it could be six am or six pm, we don't

know, right, So this is six o'clock. Let's say six o'clock in

the morning, last six am. Now, for the Jews, right their

clock starts at our six am, and they call it our zero. Okay.

So for the Jews there our zero is our six am. And so

if they say it's the third hour of the day, what time does it

correspond to our modern day timing nine am. If it's the sixth hour of

the day for the Jews, what time is it in modern timing? Twelve

pm? Twelve noon? And so here in the scripture we read that Peter

and John went to the temple in Jerusalem at the ninth hour. So what

time is that friends? Three pm? Okay? Very good? All past

general knowledge nice or a plus? Okay. So this ninth hour, which

is our three pm in modern day, is actually very significant in the Bible.

You know, nothing in the Bible is by chance or accident. Every

number, every alphabet, every dot even is there by purpose and design.

Okay. So I want to highlight the significance of the ninth hour because it

applies to thirteen thirty as well. Right now, the ninth hour in the

Bible is very significant because in the Old Testament, did you know that at

the Temple of God, the priests have to offer a burned offering, sacrificing

a lamb twice a day, every day of the week, month and years.

So nowadays, right, we come to exk church how many times a

week and a rash once once a week, or at least once a week

on Sunday, right for Sunday service. Maybe some may come twice because maybe

there's prayer service. Some may come twice because there's homes or leaders training and

so on and so forth. In the olden days, right, the House

of God, the Temple of God was running twenty four seven. It wasn't

just open on Sunday. It wasn't just open on Tuesday or Friday or Saturday.

It was open twenty four to seven. And it's not just open for

a period of time, is open throughout the day. So in the morning,

okay, let's look at the next verse Exodus, chapter twenty nine,

Verse thirty eight to thirty nine. It says, now, this is what

you shall offer on the altar, two lambs of the first year, day

by day continually, Verse thirty nine. One lamb you shall offer in the

morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight. So when I

studied this verse, the morning here refers to the third hour, which is

what time nine am? Every morning nine am they have to offer one lamb

that is one year old as an old sacrifice on the altar, and the

twilight here. It's not like the movie Twilight, Ah and doubt empire.

No, no, no. The twilight here is their ninth hour. So

what time is that? Three pm? So every day can you imagine with

me, nine am, they're offering one sacrifice of you know, a one

year old lamb, and every day at three pm they're also offering a sacrifice

of another one year old lamb. And this is every day, you know,

Monday to Sunday, Monday to Sunday, Monday to Sunday. No public

holiday, okay, like Malaysia a lot of public holidays, no weekends.

It's just continually to continuously atone for the sins of the people. But after

Jesus came, he became that perfect sacrificial lamb. That's why nowadays we don't

have to keep offering lamb sacrifice us in extra morning, nine o'clock afternoon,

three o'clock tomorrow, nine o'clock in the morning, afternoon three o'clock. Thank

God we don't live in those times. Can you imagine? I cannot imagine

how every day you have to sacrifice a lamb some more, not any animal,

you know, not some wild bush red that you can catch, or

some chit chat in the house. It's got to be lamb, you know,

lamb and then must be one year old, you know, cannot be

older or younger, and then cannot have blemish. I just think, what

is so so much work whole dot com? You know, to prepare a

nice lamb twice a day, some getting hungry ready an he happened to prepare

lamb toys a day if it's for his stomach. La, But I asked

you to prepare toys a day to sacrifice. It's a different story. You

know, you can't eat, you see, but you cannot eat. Only

the priest can eat. The priests those days they get to eat the burn

offering roast, beef, rose, lamb rose, whatever, dove sah,

pigeons. Yeah. So the priests, you know, of the Lord is

very blessed. So those of you are serving in the house of God,

you know, as his servants and leaders, you are blessed. Okay,

you are blessed. All right. So now let's look at the next verse.

Okay, So now this is in a New Testament. I want to

show you how Jesus became that perfect sacrificial lamb. So when we look at

Mark chapter fifteen, verse twenty five, it says, now it was the

third hour, which is what time? Nine am? Okay, nine am

was the time that Jesus was started to be crucified on the cross. If

you didn't know this, yeah before that. Yeah, So Jesus was put

on the cross at nine am in the morning on a Friday. And let's

read the next scripture in Luke chapter twenty three, verse forty four to forty

six. Now it was about the sixth hour. What time is that?

Friends twelve known very good? And there was darkness all over the earth until

the ninth hour, and what time is that? Three pm? So from

noon until three pm on that Friday that Jesus was crucified, it was dark

all over the land, and it was a supernatural kind of darkness. Yeah.

And the veil of the temple was torn in two verse forty six.

And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, he said, father

into your hands, I commit my spirit. Having said this, he breathed

his last. So Jesus actually died at the ninth hour, which is our

three pm. Can you see that he fulfilled the morning sacrifice he was he

started to be sacrificed at nine am on the cross. He became that mourning

lamb that was supposed to be sacrificed. And then noon came, and then

he completed his death at the ninth hour, which is our three pm,

and he fulfilled that afternoon sacrifice. He became the afternoon sacrificial lamb as well.

Can you see that Christ is actually the perfect sacrificial lamb. And because

he did this, we no longer have to sacrifice two lambs every day,

thank God. If not, I think becoming a Christian is very expensive image,

Yeah really, because it's not cheap to buy lambs. Okay, lamb

is very expensive, right misshang, try not he and know all the meats.

Yeah, so Jesus became a perfect sacrificial lamb for us. Okay,

now, but what the point that I want to get across today is the

point on the ninth hour. You know, God wants you. God wants

me to let you know today that your service thirteen thirty. It's not just

a service with convenient timing just because people cannot wake up in the morning,

or maybe they have to work in the morning, then they come law for

afternoon service more convenient mark can sleep in, can come after work, or

whatever other reason. Valid reason, valid reason. But God wants to tell

you that the thing, the thing is not just a service with a convenient

timing. Neither is it a service where just because in the afternoon our physical

bodies naturally slow down. It's physiological simiman, we have a body clock,

and in the afternoon the body does slow down a little bit es actually after

a very full meal. All of you know what I'm talking about. But

it doesn't mean that just because the body slows down in the afternoon, that

the spirit also has to slow down in the afternoon. So I want to

say, thirteen thirty your service is not just a convenient timing service. It

is not just a service where things of the spirit have to slow down and

follow the body. I want to let you know that thirteen thirty is God's

appointed timing for your service. It's God's appointed and perfect timing for your service.

Great things can happen in thirteen thirty. Never ever think just because your

service is in an afternoon, what good can come out of it? Like

Jesus. You know, It's like during the time of Jesus. You know,

they say, oh, what good can come out of Nazareth. But

Jesus, the Savior of the world, came out of Nazareth. And I

want to encourage you friends that even as you meet as thirteen thirty and you

are your service does cross the ninth hour of the day you're meeting, you

know, close to three pm, and it's the afternoon. But it's just

as great things can happen in the Bible at the ninth hour in the afternoon,

I believe that great things can happen in thirteen thirty even as you meet

in the afternoon. Powerful things happen in the Bible in the afternoon, and

powerful things are going to happen in thirteen thirty this year. As you continue

to meet faithfully, it's really God's appointed time for you thirteen thirty. So

keep meeting, be faithful, and keep being full of faith, because just

as great things happen in the Bible at the ninth hour, great things are

going to come your way this year. Thirteen thirty, as you meet faithfully

even in the afternoon. So that's the first thing that I feel God wanting

to share with you, he says, you know, come with a spirit

of conviction, not a spirit of convenience. Don't just come because it's convenient

for you, but come with a conviction that, Hey, God, you

are going to show up at thirteen thirty. You are going to show up

Lord at thirteen thirty. Come with a spirit of conviction and not convenience,

and you will see God do new things and greater things this year in thirteen

thirty. Okay, Now the second So the first point is perfect timing.

Know and know without a shadow of a doubt that thirteen thirty is God's perfect

timing for your service and for you to be at. It is His ninth

hour for you to be at. Okay. Now the second point, the

second p is the word possible. Possible. Okay, Now let's look at

let's look further down in X chapter three. We're gonna read from verse two

to verse ten. And a certain man, lame from his mother's womb,

was carried whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is

called beautiful to ask alms from those who entered the temple verse three, who,

seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms

verse four, and fixing his eyes on him with John, Peter said,

look at us verse five. So he gave them his attention, expecting to

receive something from them. Verse six. Then Peter said, silver and gold

I do not have, But what I do have, I give to you

in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Rise up and walk verse seven.

And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and

immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength verse eight. So he, leaping

up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them, walking, leaping

and praising God verse nine. And all the people saw him walking and praising

God verse ten. Then they knew that it was he who sat bagging arms

at the beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and

amazement at what had happened to him. So we read from this portion of

scripture that a man that was born lame. You know, there's a difference

between being born lame and paralyzed. Okay, someone who is born lame was

born lame from birth, So maybe there was something that happened in the womb

that caused the baby to be born lame means lang song cannot walk at all

from birth. Okay, but someone who is paralyzed is normally born being able

to walk. And then maybe something happened like an accident or they fell down

or you know, they they got a stroke, yeah, and cause them

to be paralyzed. Like so, I am a visiting doctor with a refugee

nursing home and some of the patients there they became paralyzed because guess what,

they were working as construction site workers and then they fell from like scaffolds that

are like two tree stories high onto the ground. They broke their backbones,

they broke their spinal cord, and they are paralyzed for life. And these

are some of the instances where someone can become paralyzed. Right, But this

man, he was not like them. He was born lame from birth.

That means something must have happened inside the womb or there's some genetic problems that

caused him to be lame even from birth. You know, most children they

start walking by about the age of one or one and a half. Yeah,

it's quite normal. But for him, he probably, I mean,

he never even went through that stage of development. And I can imagine his

parents must have been devastated. You know, while all the other children are

starting to sit and to crawl and to walk, their child is just you

know, maybe just lying down and growing up that man. Can you imagine

how he must have felt like everyone else can stand and walk but he can't,

especially as a man, how would you feel? Must have been really

tough beyond words for this man and even his parents. But there was this

man, and so every day they would carry him to the temple gate to

collect to beg for money. Okay, Now the Bible says that the Bible

doesn't say, but according to Bible scholars, this lame man was postulated to

be about forty years old, at least forty years old. Here who here

in the room are forty and above. It's okay. I raised my hands,

so yes, doctor Dan just raised It's okay, it's okay, it's

okay, yeah, forty and above all right, Okay, Yeah, we're

in the better half of our lives. Yeah, so come on over,

guys, come on over soon. Okay, to the better half of life

over forty Yes, so this man was at least forty years old. He

was probably in the better half of his life, the second half. Okay,

yeah, so there's something to keep in minor as you read of this

miracle. So that means this man has been lame for a long time.

Forty years is a long time, you know, to wait for a miracle

for forty years is a long time. Some of us here are not even

forty years old yet. Can you imagine you wait your whole lifetime for a

miracle to happen. It's crazy. And I said earlier on he was born

lame, not that he could walk and became paralyzed. So that made things

more complicated because, right, if he knew how to walk before and he

became paralyzed because of some freak accident, that's what we call muscle memory and

nerve memory. That when God heals him, the muscle memory and the nerve

memory kicks into play and he's able to remember how to stand and to walk

because he's done it before. So that like some of you who dance,

or who play instruments, or you play sports, right, why is it

that there comes a point where if you cannot do it quite effortlessly. It's

because there's muscle memory and there's the nerve memory. It's that you go into

the autopilot mode. Your body is so used to doing it that you don't

even realize, Like breathing, how many of you are conscious of your breathing

right now unless I tell you too, right, it's so so yeah,

it's so natural. Even driving for me, it's like, yeah, muscle

memory already not very good all the time, but you know what I mean,

there's some things that we do it's so natural, you know, so

natural because yeah, we're so used to doing it. So standing and walking

is you don't think about it because it's all part of your muscle memory and

nerve memory. So the miracle might have been easier if the man could walk

before, but now he cannot walk, and then he's healed. He got

some memory from the past to help him to walk easily. But this man

was lame from birth, you know, meaning he has zero muscle memory,

zero brain and nerve memory to even know how to walk. I feel it

really amplifies the miracle. Yeah, And so I want to encourage you friends

that some of you here maybe in your situation you have zero down payment for

that breakthrough to happen. You've got no muscle memory, you've got no brain

and nerve memory, you've got zero hate start for that breakthrough to happen.

But God can give you a breakthrough even when you feel like you've got nothing

to begin with. Okay, take heart. Now, this man right,

he was so close. Okay, let's move. Yeah, so impossible because

at least forty years lame and someone lame from birth, zero muscle and nerve

memory. Next, Yes, this manner was so close to the house of

God. He was at the gate every day, you know, asking for

money. But yet he was so far from his miracle because maybe in his

heart, in his faith, well physically he was very close to the house

of God, but maybe in his faith he was very far from God.

Maybe he didn't dare to ask God, God please heal me because it seemed

impossible in his day and time. Now, after reading this, if I

were the lame man in this day and age, I would have more confidence

to ask God to heal me because I read it and I saw that it

can be done. But in those days, maybe the lame man had no

reference that it could be done. Being born lame, asked God to heal

after such a long time impossible lah, never has been done before, never

recorded before. I don't think it's possible. So maybe that push him to

be very far in his faith to ask God to heal him. Or maybe

he did try asking God, but because the miracle hasn't come, he also

gave up. It just took too long God. I waited forty years and

still nothing has happened. My friends have grown up, got married, had

kids, tell them, becoming early grandparents at forty years old, and nothing

has changed. For me. I'm still the same loser. I don't think

it's going to happen even if I wait another forty years. Maybe, but

can you see the man was so close to the House of God physically,

but yet in his faith so far away. Friends, I hope that's not

us being physically close in the House of God in weak out, but in

our hearts, in our faith, maybe very far from asking God for our

miracle because we don't think it's possible, or maybe we've tried asking and we've

got disappointed. I think as human beings, right, the saying once bitten

twice shy is very close to us. I think many of us here to

us a miracle from God for the first time. I think it's not so

difficult as asking God for a miracle when you've been disappointed before. I feel

if I've never asked God for any miracle before and I have to ask him,

maybe it might be be easier. But if I ask Him before and

I feel like my miracle hasn't come, I feel disappointed God. Why is

it not coming, Why is it taking so long? Why is it not

coming in the way I want it to be, Then I may find it

hard to ask God for a miracle again. And so I just want to

encourage his friends to not be like this man, where we're so close to

God's house physically, we're here Sundays, but we could be very far in

our faith of asking God for a miracle, maybe because we've been disappointed before.

Okay, I wanna just caution us here all right now. This man

he was used to living with handouts. He was begging for alms, begging

for money, begging for handouts every day, just to get by every day.

And some of us can be in church and we are like this man.

We are depending on handouts. We're just surviving. Week after week after

week and just getting on by with life. But nothing significant is really happening

in our situation or our lives. But I want to prophesy this year thirteen

thirty that you shall not live by handouts alone, but God wants to give

you a hand up. You are not to live by handouts alone. Friends,

just surviving week after week, But God wants to give you a hand

up in your situation, a significant change in your situation where He lifts you

up, like how Peter lifted the lame man up. So is there anyone

of you You've been really just waiting for your breakthrough for a long time,

and you feel like you're just living with handouts. You're just getting on week

after week after week with some handouts, maybe some sympathy from some people around

you, a little help here and there, but it's all just temporary.

It doesn't really change your situations significantly. Would you trust God this year that

he wants to give you a hand up to do the impossible for you,

to lift you from your situation upwards to another level. You know, when

you play video games, a level up you don't just stay at the same

level, but you level up. You call up the next level. God

wants to do that for you this year, the thing thirty. Would you

receive it in faith that you shall not live by handouts alone, just surviving

from week after week being at the same level of your game. But God

wants to give you a hand up, you know, give you a significant

change and break through that you will level up in your game of life.

Amen. So God wants to really just encourage your faith this year. I

want to share a story. Maybe we can show the picture. Okay,

So okay, this one I have to go on stage. I want to

share with you that really God's power is not bound by time or complexity.

Okay, it's quite funny. Actually, November, my message was based on

someone's funeral, the French lady. Those of you heard me share the last

round ride, Yeah, so I so that was my part one. I

had a part two. When I shared the part one, she was still

alive, but when I shared the part two she had passed on already.

So I was talking about someone's funeral to illustrate some teaching points. December,

I preach on someone else's funeral again. This time was a little baby,

and God had powerful lessons for us to learn and today I'm also preaching again

from someone's funeral. I hope you don't mind, but you know, with

every end, it does birth a new beginning for someone else. So I

just want to share this story because I was really, really blessed. So

this what happened was okay. So this is Isaiah. This is Isaiah.

He's actually our one of our ex kids teachers in ex Cyberjaya, and he's

also one of our leaders as well. Yeah, he came to us studying

actual science in Harold Watt and he's graduated. Now he's working with the company

in cyber So there's Isaiah for you. And two weeks back, his maternal

grandfather passed away. So this is his mom, Pauline, sister Pauline,

and that's his dad, doctor Tun. And they're from Lahart dat too.

Anyone from Lahar Dato here Sabah no okay, anyone from Saba Alisia Okay,

okay, God awesome, awesome, okay right okay. So Isaiah, so

that's his brother and sister. This is family la. His grandfather passed away

two weeks ago and uh, some of us from ex ciber Jaya, our

leadership, we went to support the family at his grandfather's awake. So this

passed Jack, my husband, Yeah, this is me Olivia. Then we've

got Paul, Celestie and Priscilla, some of our key leaders in cyber And

what happened was so his mom actually shared a very powerful testimony about his grandfather.

Now, the grandfather's picture looks very young here, but when he passed

on he was eighty plus. So when I actually look at him in the

coffin, he looks very different from the picture. Okay, Plus he also

had a sickness, so you know it, he looked very different. But

it's a very good picture of his grandfather. And so his mom was sharing

two testimonies about his grandfather. The first one went as such, his grandfather

had a mental illness in his younger days and it was called schizophrenia. How

many of you here are familiar with the mental illness called schizophrenia or you heard

of it, at least you heard of it. Yeah, I heard of

it. But I know it's a big word. It's a super calvergalistic,

expert, elidocious, right, yeah, but very different. Schizophrenia is a

big word, okay, But basically it's a type of mental illness, which

is actually very serious. A person that has schizophrenia many times they hear voices

in their head and it's like a third party voice telling them stuff or asking

them to do stuff. And they can be so affected by the voices in

their head that they find it very hard to live their everyday life. They

want to do something, then the voice and the heat tells them otherwise.

And some are so bad that they don't even move because they're just paralyzed by

the voice in their heads. We call it catatonic schizophrenia. So they can

literally just freeze in life because they're so affected by the voices in their head.

And it's honestly, it is among the toughest mental illnesses to treat.

Compared to even depression or anxiety or different illnesses around. Schizophrenia is very very

very tough to treat medically, almost impossible to cure. I've not heard of

very good stories about treating and managing schizophrenia. So just to tell you the

severity of the illness. So her dad, sister Pauline's dad, Isaiah's grandfather,

had schizophrenia from a young age and so yeah, it placked his lifel

So sister Pauline. She came to No Christ at quite a young age,

I think when she was a youth, and she's been praying for her dad's

healing for a long time but hasn't really seen it happen. So after she

got married to doctor Tan and then soon they had to move from KL to

Laha Datu because he was posted by the government to work there. One thing

that she really couldn't leave behind in KL was her father because he was unwell

with schizophrenia. But she had to follow her husband, no choice, right,

So she prayed this desperate prayer to God before she moved. She said,

God, you know I have no choice but to move from KL to

Laha Datto. Can you please take care of my father that I leave behind

because I cannot now be physically here to take care of him with his sickness.

And so that was a prayer that she prayed as she was moving to

Laha Datu and she was sharing at his wig that after she moved to Laha

Dato, her dad did not have any more schizophrenia attacks. Wow, I

was blown away as a medical person myself, and now I'm involved in suicide

prevention work. I'm blown away because it's like almost that the moment that she

let go of control over her dead's situation and surrendered it to God, that's

when the breakthrough happened. All the time that she was with her dad,

so called in control of the situation, the breakthrough had not happened. But

the moment she had to move on with life and let go of control with

the situation, that's when the breakthrough happened. I could be speaking to someone

here, friends, some of us here may be very holding, very tightly

in control our situation, but maybe God is saying, if you would let

go and trust me, you will see the breakthrough come. Just like Isaiah's

father, the moment the mom had to let go of that sense of control

of being around him to take care of him and trust it to God,

that's when he took control. He healed her dad of schizophrenia. This is

a very rare positive story for someone who is schizophrenia, and that really encouraged

me because I've seen people with anxiety being healed, people with depression being healed,

but people with schizophrenia I have not really seen. So this was first

in my album, my faith album, like okay, God, you can

do it now. So it has really increased my faith. But what I'm

also catching from this is sometimes the moment we let go of control of our

situation and let God take control, then that's where we see the breakthrough happen.

You've got to let go and let God. You cannot just let go

and not let God. Then things will crashing down. Okay, you gotta

let go and let God, and then you'll be amazed by the outcome.

So all of us are super amazed. What you love your dad and he

got healed. It's crazy, right, it doesn't make sense. But God's

ways doesn't make sense to us. His ways are higher and better. So

those of you who are really yearning for that breakthrough, and maybe you're holding

that situation so tight in your hands, maybe it's time to let go and

let God and see him give that breakthrough to you in a totally unexpected way.

Okay, now the second testimony is dead. She's been also praying for

her dad's salvation for many years. Remember she got safe as a youth,

and now she's in her fifties already, so at least forty years she's been

praying for her dad salvation and different ones have been trying to reach out to

him. But her dad was a police officer and he was a very tough

man, so many times he resisted the gospel. Whenever he was shad with

him, he would resist it. But end of last year, he actually

had cancer and he had to be in hospital for treatment. And one day

I Pauline sister. Pauline asked Isaiah to go and visit his grandfather in the

hospital, and Isaiah brought Paul along. So Paul is his handle, leader,

is his discipler, and so they went to the hospital to visit his

grandfather, and on that day, Isaiah had a very strong urge to ask

his grandfather about accepting Jesus. He just had a very strong leading, but

he didn't know how to do it, because sometimes a family, right,

it's extra tafla, it's extra sensitive and so but thank God all went with

Isaiah. So while Isaiah found it hard to be the one to share the

gospel and lead his grandfather to God, thank God Paul could step in and

give that support. And really that's the power of hurdles and discipleship. When

you feel you can't do it, you know your leader is there with you

to step in and help you. Yeah, okay, so that's what Paul

did. And so Paul was the one who shared the Gospel with Uncle.

And guess what he accepted Christ? He accepted Christ. After eighty plus years

of his life being a tough self made man, resisting God and the Gospel,

he accepted Christ. And so we trust that you know, he is

with the Lord now, free of pain, free of suffering. But this

really encapsulates even the story that we read in xt Chapter three very well.

Uncle's story had both the complexity of time and the complexity of the situation.

There were many years that Sister Pauline was praying for his healing from schizophrenia,

salvation and while it was not thought possible to ever come, it came.

And there was the complexity of the situation. Who would have thought that uncles

schizophrenia could have been healed? Who would have thought that a tough man like

him could you know, be softened unto the Lord. And so I want

to encourage you friends that really, you know, it doesn't matter how long

you've been waiting for your breakthrough, and it doesn't matter how complex or impossible

it is. I'm here to say that God has done it for the lame

man. God has done it for Uncle, he can do it for you.

So, like Philip said earlier on, keep holding on in your faith,

and in fact, may the Lord grant you a fresh measure of faith

this year, a fresh measure of faith to believe that your breakthrough can come,

no matter how long you've been waiting, how impossible it has been.

And for some maybe rising up to that faith is to actually loosen our hands

a little bit more, to let go of our own control of the situation

and let God take control. Okay. So that's the second P, which

is possible, and I'm going to just wrap with the final P, which

is power. Okay, and I'm going to jump straight to except the one.

Can we show except the one? Versus eight. As I was preparing

this message, God really said that let my people in thirty thirteen all that

this year, I'm going to anoint them with a fresh measure of My power

like never seen before. You know, we see in X chapter one,

verse eight it says, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has

come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses, witnesses to me in

Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

And God is saying that He's going to pour forth his power through his Holy

Spirit upon thirteen thirty in a fresh and a greater way like you've never seen

before. And that's because He knows that your CPC, doctor Daniel Kong,

and also different leaders here, you've been crying out for more, more for

thirteen thirty. It's been a while that you guys have been crying out.

God says, I've heard your prayers, my child, and I'm coming upon

you all in a greater way this year. So get ready. Thirteen thirty,

God is going to pour off his power upon you in a far greater

way than you've ever imagined or seen in your service plan. With God,

you can only level up, you can never level down. The letter is

greater than the former. Amen, So get ready to experience His power in

a greater way this year. Just continue to be faithful in what you do.

Yeah, and you know what, this power that God is going to

pop off is not just going to be for you. He wants to bless

you for sure, but it's so that you can be His witness to other

people that when people see you experiencing the power of God. It's going to

attract them to want to come to the source of this power. X Chapter

one was eight right, that says you shall raise see power when the Holy

Spirit comes upon you. But God didn't put a full stop there. It's

colmer and you shall be witnesses to me. So it's power so that you

can witness. So it's a double full blessing. You get to experience that

power, but it's so that you can be that witness. So get ready.

Thirteen thirty. I'm here to just be like join the Baptist to say,

get ready, prepare the way, because God's coming to move in your

midst in a far greater way than you've ever seen before. Things are going

to change, you know, and be lifted up to the next level.

You guys have grown a lot. Today's worship was amazing God's presence, you

know, but there's more to come this year. Thirteen thirty Amen, Amen,

and so extreme we can come up. We're going to close already.

And just something that I wanted to share, you know. One of the

ways to experience God's power is to actually pray in tongues. Is to pray

in tongues, which is the language of the Holy Spirit. How do you

know that someone is being filed by the Holy Spirit is when they can speak

the language of the Holy Spirit. It's like, how do you know if

someone you know is of a particular ethnicity, Normally they can speak the language

of the ethnicity, or someone is from a particular family or social group,

they speak the lingo of the family or their social group. So same,

how do we know if the Holy Spirit is with us? We speak his

language, and by praying in tongues, by speaking in the language of the

Holy Spirit, it unlocks the Holy Spirit to move in a more powerful way.

You know, the Bible says in Romans chapter eight, verse twenty six.

Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses, for we do not

know what we should pray for as we ought, But the Spirit himself makes

intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. So at times where we

don't even know what to say and pray already in our human understanding, let

the Holy Spirit take over and pray a birth and beyond what we can ever

ask, dream or hope for. And I want to share two very quick

testimonies of how this is so true. The first testimony. I heard from

my husband Passa Jack in the last maybe two weeks ago. So we have

a church partner in ex Cyberjaya by the name of Miriam, and Miriam is

from Africa. She's an African lady and she's currently working in Cyberjaya. And

recently Miriam had to accompany her friend who was going to give birth to the

hospital and at the hospital, her friend was in labor and she was in

a lot of pain and her labor wasn't progressing smoothly, you know, normally

at Lisa even you know Mom's you know, lah, even if your labor

pains are but your labor is progressing, right you Tahana, because you know

the end will come. But this lady, her labor kind of got stuck

halfway. So she's having the pains, terrible pains, but her labor is

not even progressing in the way she wants it to progress. So it's almost

like wasted effort. Are you I got to Tahana pain and my labor is

not even progressing? What is this? So she was very frustrated as well.

So Miriam was at the hospital with her. This friend was in labor

and her labor was like stuck, and she was like, Okay, I

need to pray for my friend. I need to pray for my friend.

But then Miriam was like, I don't know how to pray for my friend.

I don't know what to say. I've never given birth before, I

don't know what to pray for her. God then she remembered. So I

think one or two weeks before that, passer ject was actually sharing a message

in church and he was talking about how, you know, we need to

depend on the Holy Spirit more, and one of the ways to depend on

the Holy Spirit more is to pray in tongues his language. And so the

Holy Spirit brought that word to remembrance, and you say, Okay, you

know what, I may not have the words or wisdom to pray for my

friend who's suffering right now, but I can at least pray in tongues because

I don't know. But Holy Spirit will know what to pray and what to

say. And so she began to lay her hands on the belly of her

friend and just pray in tongues for a while. And then after that,

her friend actually went on to give birth naturally very soon after that, and

after her friend gave birth. Her friend came to her and asked, Miriam,

what balm did you put on my bellyer she was asking, maybe like

some called tiger baum or whatever healing boum? Right, what called magic bush?

What called balm? She said? It really her words? Or what

kind of balm did you put on my belly? Because after you laid hands

on my belly I couldn't feel any pain out anymore? And she gave birth

smoothly after that. It can only be the Holy Spirit praying through Miriam the

wisdom and the words that she could never have known to pray. And maybe

in that cryptic prayer, right, maybe the Holy Spirit, you know,

saying, Lord, touch her with your heavenly boum so that she won't feel

any pain and it will smoothing her, you know, her labor. We

don't know. We don't know because it's the language or the Holy Spirit between

the Holy Spirit and Father, and the Holy Spirit knows the secrets, the

treasures in heaven what is available for picking, but we don't know. So,

friends, I want to encourage us this year. You want to experience

more of God's power. Pray in pounds more because when we pray in our

human wisdom. It's only until level ten maybe, but when the Holy Spirit

praise, because the Holy Spirit knows the secrets and treasures in heaven and on

earth. The moment the Holy Spirit praise that we're at level hundred already.

We're level thousand already, So I want more of that this year. One

of my personal I do like to call resolutions lack but results. That sounds,

but one of my personal results is to actually pray in towns more.

I used to pray in tongues quite a bit, and I think I've slowed

down in the past years. Honestly, even as a leader as a church

elder, I feel like I've kind of slowed down in praying in tongues.

And maybe it's like as if I've got gotten smarter and wiser to pray in

words. Yeah, But this year, God is just challenging me to come

back to basics, to pray in tongues. It's like letting go of control

over my prayers and letting God be in control. Don't be so pundai jail,

you don't know it all. Let the Holy Spirit pray. So,

yes, there are times to pray and understanding, Yes it's important as well.

But it's don't just stop at praying and understanding plaster praying in the spirit,

you know. I remember one day I was in pasting Keno's car and

I was very inspired by this little small thing that he did. You know,

many times when we drive around, right, we were turned on the

radio, we turn on the Spotify, right, I do that. Coming

here also driving for Cyber, I turned on my Spotify, but I also

praying tangs lah. Yeah. But yeah, you know, I just have

to have that music in the background. But one day, I remember when

I said, in Pastor's car, so he was in front, Passendra was

there. I was at the back, and I remember that he didn't turn

on any music, and then as he was driving about, he just broke

out in tongues. He just started to pray in tongues as he was driving

about. And I was very inspired back then, and I was like,

wow, Pastor, like, you don't even need music accompaniment in the car.

You're just praying in tongues. And I know the Holy Spirit is,

you know, just depositing something in you and true you could be for you

could be for someone else. So we have a pastor that believes in praying

in tongues. You know, an ex church believes in praying in tongues.

We are the Church of the Acts of the Holy Spirit. And how do

we know we are people of the Spirit is if we can speak in this

language. So this your friends, I want to encourage you, those of

you who have the gift of tongues. Let's revive that gift of tongues.

Maybe You're breakthrough lies in the Holy Spirit praying for you, unlocking that secret

treasure in heaven for you that you've been trying so hard to reach on your

own, but you can never reach. You need the Holy Spirit's help.

Yeah, okay. And like I was telling you early on, I was

sick with COVID round two and my round two seemed like worse than round one.

And I remember on the third day of my sickness, that night,

before I was going to sleep, the Holy Spirit just prompted me to pray

in tongues for a period of time. I don't know how long I prayed,

but I was just sitting on my bed in the dark, in the

quarantine and I was just praying in tongues like never before. And as I

pray in tongues, I really felt like something broke blues and something lifted off

me. And true enough, the next morning when I got up, I

was really well from COVID like overnight turn. And you know that's not possible

in the natural. You know things will take time. But I experienced just

a touch of wow. Praying in tongues. When God prays for me,

it's so much more than what I can pray for myself, what people can

pray for me. So I'm so inspired to level up in praying in tongues.

Okay, So I want to encourage you so this year, you know,

get ready for more of God's power in your lives and pray in tongues

to see His power come upon you in a greater manner. And the power

is not just for yours to keep, but it's yours to share with others

so that they know Christ as well. So I leave this three peace.

I leave peace with you thirty. Firstly, your service is really God's perfect

timing. Know that, without a shadow of the doubt, it's His ninth

hour for you. Great things are going to happen. Second, p is

possible. God can turn the impossible into the possible, no matter how long

it's been, how complex, the situation is and the final p is power.

God's going to come upon you in a fresh way, in a greater

way, in more power, and you want so stir you up to pray

in tongues even more amen, the language of the Holy Spirit. We hope
