You're listening to a message to go from X Church. We hope this message

will light up your day. I have a word for us this morning,

and the title will be And they continued stayed fastly. Anyone can read Mandarin

here, Okay to Hawaii. Okay, Okay, Okay, look up okay

can Hawaii uh in Neila. I run bilingual worship service. So I actually

preached this message in nearly a couple of weeks ago, and I had disturbing

to share the same message in Samonie. And I believe that it is important

for us to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. So the

key structure is taken from X chapter two. Let me give you an overview

of X chapter two. X Chapter two. To begin with the disciples experiencing

what we call the baptism of the Holy Spirit or the outpouring of the Holy

Spirit. Jesus told the disciple before he assents back to Heaven, to terry

in Jerusalem until you are endured with power from on high. And Jesus told

his disciple, I will send the promise of my Father to you. So

they were in Jerusalem. They were gathering at the Upper Room. It says

that in the day of Pentecost. So Pentecost in Greek basically means fifty.

It also signifies that fifty days after the resurrection of Christ, the outpouring of

the Holy Spirit happened to the one hundred and twenty disciples who were fitfully praying

in one court. Now, I gotta understand that they don't know the time

of the visitation. They do not know the time where the Holy Spirit is

going to be given to them. All that they know is Jesus's instruction.

Terry in the city of Jerusalem, stay there until you endure with power on

high. Now, dad is Cell speaks about faithfulness. Dad Cell speaks about

stepfastness. Now, if you wait one day, two days, one week,

nothing happened, you will feel that, Okay, let's press on.

But if you wait until one month, thirty days later, nothing happened,

some would have given up, isn't it Some would have said that, You

know, I imagine Thomas doubting, Thomas saying, wow, it's really a

day number thirty guys, look at the wall we have been drawing. The

promise of the Father hasn't arrived yet. Is Jesus real? You know?

Sometimes can enter into our heart when we lack that patient, we lack that

trust, we like that understanding on what God's what God's instruction is for us.

So they tear it for fifty days, and true enough, God pour

out his spirit. And one of the reasonable signs is that the disciples started

to speak in tongues because people from all the nations hurt them. These people

being Jews, these people being Galilean, are speaking our language, glorifying the

book of God. So it was a supernatural experience. Something happened, something

significant happened on that day. Thereafter, Peter started to proclaim the gospel to

the thousands of people who were in who were there, So Peter spoke about

Christ, how he was crucified, spoke from the life of David, and

how people should repent and believe in Christ. And we know that three thousand

people repented, they were saved and baptized on the very same day. Friends,

three thousand is a lot. It's not three, it's not thirty.

In a modern day today, thirty itself is a lot, but three thousand

back then it's really a lot, a lot, a lot, Amy say,

Mandarin is a lot, a lot, a lot. So with three

thousand people repenting and being safe. The first Church was actually birthed through this

life, and we can attribute that the birth of the Church was a direct

result from the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, from the presence and the power

of the Holy Spirit. And in Acts two later we will learn that because

it was the first church, there was being birth. It gives us a

good indication of what community discipline looked like, what community spiritual practices would look

like. Following means so far. Okay, so we'll read xt Chapter two

West one all the way to verse fourteen. What a day of Pentecost had

fully come? They were all with one accord in one place. I like

the word one accord because one account speak about unity. They were together.

There's some oneness, you know. God says that he would command a blessing

where when there is unity, Jesus himself prayed, Father, let them be

one as we are one. So unity in the Kingdom of God is very,

very important. And as Christians we should not be divided by different practices

where people say that, how come this church practice this? Your church don't

practice this? How come this? How come there? I think we must

come back to the basic that what really buying us together is Christ himself.

That we can all agree that Christ came in the form of man, leave

a perfect life, took on the penalty of our sin, crucified, buried,

three days later he rose again, and that Christ is coming back.

There's something that we can agree on, and we should focus on that.

In What's twy say is that suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of

a rushing, mighty wind, and it felled the whole house where they were

sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as of fire, and one

sat upon each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit

and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. And

they were dwelling in Jerusalem, Jews developed men from every nation under heaven.

And when this sound occurred, the multitudes came together and were confused because everyone

heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marld,

saying to one another, look are not all theys who speak Galileans?

And how is it that we hear each in our own language in which we

were born? Passians, the Midas, the Alumnites, those dwelling in Massa,

Potamia, Judea, and couple those shared Pontos and Asia, Persia Fromphilia,

Egypt and the parts of Libya, adjoining Serene visitors from Rome, both

Jews and prosselytes, Cretans and Arabs. We hear them speaking in our own

towns the wonderful works of God. So they were all amazed and propects saying

to one another, whatever could this mean? Others mocking, said they are

full of new wine. But Peter everyone saying. But Peter, standing up

with the eleven, raised its voice and said to them, men of Julia

and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and

hit my words, for these are not drunk as you suppose, since it

is only the third hour of the day. So when you read the Bible,

third out of the day basically means nine am, so it's in the

morning. The Holy spirit came upon them. People saw what happened. Some

were mocking that, hey, these are drunk, and Peter stood up saying

that they're not drunk, for it is the third hour, all right,

because people usually get drunk in the evening right anyway, So you know it's

nine am verse sixteen. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel.

Now Joel, we know is a prophet in the Old Testament, and

there was a famous prophecy by the prophet Joel in verse seventeen. Was Peter

brought up this prophecy right from I believe it's Joel chapter two. And it

shall come to pass in the last day, says God, that I will

pour out my spirit on our flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your young men shall see regions, your old men shall dream dreams.

And on my men's servants and on my maid servants. I will pour out

my spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy. Now, the timeline

between this supernatural experience and what has been written by Joel can be a tribute

to probably a couple of hundred years. Okay, So when Peter says,

you know what you have observed is a fulfillment of this prophecy, it also

means that this prophecy has now come to pass, that in the last days

God will pour out his spirit and we are the recipient of this. And

today I believe God will continue to pour out his spirit upon or flesh from

then on he began to expound to them. Jesus he spoke, and he

proclaimed the gospel. And we know that in verse thirty seven it says that

now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart. And say

to Peter and the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall

we do that Peter say to them, repent, and let every one of

you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is

to you and to your children, and to all who are far of as

many as the Lord our God will call. So the key message in Peter's

arm sermon is Jesus, and the key action is repentance. Right message of

the Kingdom is always repentance. When Jesus started his ministry, he said,

repent, for the Kingdom of God is at end. So to enter into

the Kingdom of God, one has to repent. That means to turn away

from our wicked way and turned to God's way, to turn our mind to

God. Following me so far. So, Peter was obviously a key figure

in Acts chapter two and in the gospel. You probably have read about Peter,

so let's look at who was Peter next like. He was one of

the first few called by Jesus to follow him, probably the first three that

Jesus say, come follow me, and I will make you fishes of men.

And we know that the disciples followed Jesus. They gave up everything and

followed Jesus for three years. He also saw the miracle of healing of his

mother in law. So when he invited Jesus to the house, mother in

law was sick fever. Jesus rebuked the fever and the fever left right.

He saw that he had a revelation from God on who Jesus was. Jesus

was asking them who do men say that I am? Some say you're Elijah,

some say you're this, But who do you say that I am?

Peter says you are Christ, the Living God. And then Jesus told Peter,

blessed are you as a trun It has been revealed to you. You

had a revelation from God on who Jesus was. Right, he experienced the

miracle of walking on water. He was the second man on earth that walked

on water. Anyone Elf, you tried walking on water yet don't ah,

but he had that. He said, Lord, it is you. In

the middle of the night where they were where the disciples thought that Jesus was

goest, Jesus says, come, Jesus took this sorry. Peter took the

step of faith up walked on water, right, And we know he was

distracted by the wind. The wind was boisterous and all he sank and Jesus

lifted him up. So it was a very supernatural experience walking on water.

We also know that he denied Jesus three times. When Jesus says that he

is going to the cross, Peter says, no, Lord, I'll be

with you. And Jesus himself prophesies that when the chrust, when the before

the rooster crow, three times, you would have denied me three times.

Right, But we know that Jesus is full of grace, He's full of

mercy, despite Peter denying Jesus. Upon Jesus' resurrection, Jesus had breakfast with

Peter by the sea, and then he asked Peter, do you love me

fit my sheep? Do you love me fit my sheep? For three times?

Right? And he restought Peter and we know that Peter was also sent

by Jesus to preach the gospel of Mary Jinia, go and make disciples of

all nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son,

and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them all the things that I have commanded

you. So the first church was birth from Peter's first public sermon. So

what can we learn from here? Number one, it has never been about

your past, whether you have a glorious past, you have walking on what

the experience, you have seen, healings, you have seen the multiplication of

the five low and the two fish to fit that thousands of people. It's

never been about that. It has also never been about your past disappointment,

your denial of who Jesus is, et cetera. Because your past doesn't determine

your future. You know, if you talk about a modeal pastor today a

model church blunter today, Peter may not have fit the bill in the world's

eyes because the world will say that, but you deny Christ three times,

you are a loud mouth. You tried, but you fail. But you

have to look at ourself in the lens of God. Yes, God knows

our past, but God also understands that He can use your past to shape

you to the destiny that He has for you. So as believe us today,

I want to encourage you. Don't let your past be a ceiling for

your destiny. We got to break through that ceiling, because if God can

use Peter, surely God can use you. It is about your obedience towards

the calling of God and his great commandment. You know, Peter had the

courage to stand up to preach the gospel. We all have the same calling,

and our same calling is God's great commandment to go and make disciples.

That is also very important. It is about the press and the power of

the Holy Spirit in your life. Peter did not begin his first public sermon

without the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. So the Gospel must

be preached under the anointing, under the presence, under the power of the

Holy Spirit. X one it. But you shall receive power when the Holy

Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me. So to

do any great things that God required of you, or to walk in the

calling that God has for you, You've got to learn to walk under the

anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit, because if you don't rely on

the Holy Spirit, what essentially you are doing is you're relying on your own

wisdom, You're relying on your own strength. God's calling upon one's life usually

will require you to depend on the Holy Spirit. Let sweeten, So I

like your testimony, brother about being excellence in the marketplace. Excellence in the

marketplace can come when you truly walk with the Holy Spirit and you in wide

the Holy Spirit into your marketplace. All right, So don't leave me the

Holy Spirit saying that, Oh, when we come to church, it's all

Holy Spirit. When we go to our workplace, we go back to our

family, we go to our campuses, there's no Holy Spirit. The Holy

Spirit is always in you. And because he's in you, you will always

have that access to his presence and his power. Involve the Holy Spirit.

Do you have a presentation coming up? You have a serious in your campus

presentation? What day is it? Video recording presentation? I don't want to

have to ask you because I saw that and when I was a campus student.

We have to do presentation right, and I understand the fear even if

it is recording, because we have to record one hundred times until we get

it perfect in mind the Holy Spirit. Ask him to give you the boldness

because he will come for sure one. Because the Holy Spirit is our helper

Amen. So X Church, we are called X Church Acts. And you

know when our founding senior pastor caught the vision from God. God told buster

that He's going to turn on the X generation to an ACTS generation. Okay,

you'll know the generation X right after Generation X is millennial? After millennial?

Is your gen Z after gen Z? Now is your gen alpha et?

Okay, so back then, I'm back then. So when I'm medited

on this, actually I would also see it as God will turn the X

generation meaning people who are being canceled to be an X generation. That means

a generation that would come into the destiny that God has for them through the

presence and the power of God's Holy Spirit. So X Church, the best

church to learn from is from the church itself in the Book of X.

There are thousands of churches around from press millions, and sometimes maybe it's good

to learn from one another. But for this church, we have always been

directed to go back to the blue print because the blue print speaks about the

originality, the non corruptedness. So I want to look at the first church.

It's all in the Book of As, learn from their community, learn

from their practices. So X Church is a holy spirit led church. Amen.

X Church is a church planting church. In fact, the Book of

Acts is also known as the Ax of the Holy Spirit. It's all about

Holy Spirit. It's all about church planting. It's all about the disciples taking

a step of faith to go out to proclaim the gospel. In fact,

Exemney, it was planted out of x NELI you know that right in twenty

sixteen, believe twenty sixteen. Prior to twenty sixteen, from probably twenty thirteen

twenty fourteen, they all used to travel here, first by cass to Kneelin,

then by bus to Kneelin. Ever since then we have planted here.

Hey, fun fact, we used to meet at the study room downstairs,

if in case you don't know. Once the church grew, we decided to

move here. So we are church planting church and we should continue to raise

disciples as well, because X is about raising and releasing disciples into their full

potential, into their faith filled purpose, experiencing the fire power, witnessing and

fulfilling their destiny in God. You know X two when the three thousand souls

were saved a community of faith was birth three thousand right, And we're going

to read from X to forty to forty seven, it says, and with

many other words. He testified and exhorted them, saying, be saved from

this perverse generation. All right. Then those who gladly received His word were

baptized, and that day about three thousand souls were added to them, three

thousand souls. Now we's forty two. And they continued stayed fastly in the

apostles, doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayer.

Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done

through the apostles. Now all who believed were together and had all things in

common, and sold their possessions and goods and divided them among all as anyone

had made. So continue doing daily with one court in the temple, and

breaking bread from house to house. They ate their food with gladness and simplicity

of heart, praising God and having favored with all the people, and the

Lord added to the church daily. Those who were being safe praise God.

So what really caused them to be able to continue state fastly. It's like

every day, you know, every day they do church. Every day.

They want to see each other, study the Bible, they want to you

know, continue in prayer, they want to do communion together. In a

modern day today we will probably shy away by saying that, you know what,

I'm very busy. You know, Monday to Saturday. I have to

do this, I have to do their church time from me is just Sunday.

But back then, the people they continued stayfastly, they met daily.

So what gave them that ability to do so? I believe it was the

work of the Holy Spirit, because to participate in the things of God really

requires God's provision of strength, God's provision of passion, God's provision of purpose.

I can tell you, Pussus Steven, without the Holy Spirit in your

heart, you won't be doing or you won't be able to do what you

are doing today leading this church. I know Passus Steven when he was young

as a campus student. Since twenty ten until now fourteen years, I had

the privilege to do life with him. The price he paid, the price

all these leaders paid to build this church, to build this community. I

can testify before you it is true the presence of the Holy Spirit in their

life, because if they did not yield theirself to the Holy Spirit, the

provision of supernatural grace and strength and wisdom will not be there for them.

They would have given up way earlier. And if they have given up earlier,

you and I won't be here today. So I have to acknowledge.

For the church to grow, for the community to grow, we each got

to yield to the Holy Spirit. That's not when it comes to serving.

When it comes to decision making around the House of God, I always tell

people or I ask them, what is the Holy Spirit saying to you?

Have you prayed about it? Because please, do not do things because you

are instructed by the leadership to do. Please do not come because you feel

compelled or you feel that you had no choice. Therefore you come, Come

because you have prayed. Do because you have prayed, Serve because you have

prayed and you felt a very strong stirring that the Holy Spirit is leading you

to do this. So community of faith and obedience grow when we first yield

ourselves to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will always lead us to be

a blessing in serving this community. Always because the Holy Spirit will always lead

us to glorify God. So when you serve in God's house, you glorify

Him. When you serve in your market place, you do well in your

marketplace, you glorify Him. When you do well in your family, you

glorify God. When you do well in your studies, you glorify God.

X Church vision is basically this. We want to be a community of faith,

hope and love that will shine the way, truth and life of Jesus

Christ until the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of the

Lord as the waters cowards the sea. So by us see why do you

do church? We need why do you give your time to church? What

is the vision of ex church? This is the revision of ex church,

a community of faith, hope and love. Now, if you have been

in this community for law, you are able to testify together with me,

that you have seen faith in action, not just in your homes, but

among people that you interact with. You have seen people here are very positive,

very hopeful. You have seen love in action. That is the community

that God wants us to develop. Why because we want to shine that Jesus

is the way, the truth, and the life and fulfilling Hapacook Chapter two

was fourteen, where we want to see the whole earth is filled with the

knowledge of the glory of the Lord. What's for you to say is and

they continue stick fastly. So the word stayed fast basically means devoted. Are

we devoted to God and the things of God? Persisting in something with intense

effort, meaning they don't easy give up, strong commitment and unwavering focus on

a particular activity or practice. Now we know that the church is not a

building. This building one day may not be here all right. The church

is the people, and the people itself speaks about community. So as believers,

we've got to ask ourself, do we want to be a part of

a community that have the dedication towards God? Do we want to be a

part of a community that fears God? Do we want to be part of

this community that keep our faith in check, keep us accountable in our faith?

Because if we say that we want to be part of this community,

we've got to learn to be step fast. Step five, Yes, step

first. God comes first, and when you put God first, he will

lead you to how to prioritize for the community that He wants you to be

in the word fear here Ins forty three speaks about a sense of awe,

reverence, or respect that the people felt in response to the science and wonders

performed by the Apostles. It says that fear came upon every soul. Be

part of a community that fears God. Because a community that fears God is

a community that plays God first. It'll be in a campus environment. I

myself have been in campus ministry for fourteen over years. Whenever I have the

opportunity to speak to outstationed students or international students, I always encourage them be

part of a community that will hold you accountable for your faith. Because when

you travel outside and you are no longer under the covering of your parents,

it's so easy to fall away. It's so easy to lead a life that

is ungodly. It's so easy to get influence and be connected to the wrong

crowd. It is so easy. So the church or the community exease to

support fellow believers to continue to grow in their faith. So you've got to

be part of the community that fears God, a community that put God first.

In Verse forty seventy says the Lord added daily the Lord added daily.

So there are two things here. I don't need to point the difference here,

the difference of role. What is our role as a church. Our

role is to be continued to be stipped fast in the apostle doctrine. I

have a slight for that, in fellowship, in breaking of break, in

prayer. This is our part as believers. We must be fitful in this.

So we desire that all these chairs are feeled. We've got to be

fitful in this. So it's not just the responsibility of the leaders, right,

it's our responsibility as believers to stay fitful to all these things. We

must understand that the activities in church are not meant to be burdensome to us.

But it's said to say in a modern day church today people find that

activities in church are very very burdensome. Why because we all each want to

live our own life. We all each want to do our own things.

But when you begin to track back your calendar last week, you begin to

track back your calendar in a month past month, Honestly, ask yourself,

have you done things that have been glorifying to God? Or have you been

doing things that are very selfish calendars don't lie right track back. It's a

joy to serve God, it's a joy to experience Him. So when we

do our part, God will do his part. So leaders don't stress over

whether the church will be filled or not. We focus on doing this.

It is the Lord that will add to the church. The Lord will add.

I truly believe it. The Lord will add. And I told my

church in Ela that, and I speak this the same for some money.

Every life next to you, look to your left, look to your right,

and front and back. If you have been in this community for long,

every life is America because the Lord brought you here. The Lord added

your life to this church. So you're here not by mystake. You're here,

not by coincidence. You're here because the Lord added you to this community.

We may not be the most happening church live, man. Look at

our lights, look at our sound system at all, but the sits.

Sometimes I had no question, so that you can sleep and hear the word.

I've gone at the same time. But Pastor, I have never discipled

us to build a monument. We're called to build a movement with or without

likes. We were worshiped with all, without sound system, we were worshiped.

So if you're gonna pick a church, you're gonna pick a community.

My prayer is that we don't pick community based on what we say see on

the outside. You pick a community based on what you see in terms of

the decisions they do, whether in any decision that they do for church for

their life, is there a fear of God in their life? Very very

very important, very important. So last year in June, we had a

new believer in Neeli, saved in Neeli Praise God. Prais praise God.

So her name is Sir Shan. Susan is a student from IPG meaning the

Teacher's Institute, studying to be a teacher. She stays in Saramban, which

is probably about thirty minutes away from Neeli. So through one of the leaders,

she made a request. She said, Okay, now that I'm a

Christian, I'm staying in Sarumban and in school holidays, do you have any

church that you like to recommend so that you know I can go in Sarumban.

So when the request was made known to me, I had this stirring

in my heart that because she was a birth true acts, I have this

sense of responsibility, that it is our responsibility to fit her, it is

our responsibility to disciple her. So the Lord in a way showed me this

las Now disclaimer. I may not physically be able to birth a child physiologically,

you'll know that. But if you ask any parents when the new born

is born, the mom would like to feed the new born with her own

milk. Right. So I felt that burden you know that you know as

a pastor, like, Wow, there is a new born, Ah,

what milk should should she be feeding on? So I told my leader to

let Sushan know. Sushan, we desire that you come to X. There

are good churches in Surumban. But this is a conviction that we have.

If I check this openly, some people will tell me that why you're so

extreme warner, Wow, past why can't you know you recommend a person go

to Surumban and then later come to X. Why make it difficult for new

believers? So I thought Anlai team that wish would you rather one a pastor

that doesn't hear from God and speak without conviction or pastor that hear from God

and speaks with conviction? So I felt that conviction and It's not easy sometimes

being a leader, because the role of a leader often requires one to challenge

the congregation to grow in their faith. And this, to me is a

good challenge. You know what. She came the following day, she took

a public transport from Serumbani six am KATM. The parents who are basically non

believers. She's the first one in a family to be a Christian. Her

parents will send her to KTM station, KATM to Kneeline grab to church six

seven something am. Then here I am right thinking about long time Christians who

struggle to even wake up to go to church. I'm not knocking us down.

I'm just saying that sometimes when we grow in the faith, we tend

to take it for granted. When we were new in the faith. We

love Jesus, we will go all out. So when she started serving,

she also do the same, no excuses six am. Come sir, So

ask how much do you spend weekly traveling close to I think thirty to forty

overring it to travel. And I'm so so proud of her because she's not

doing this for me. She first yielded to the Holy Spirit. She first

wanted for herself to take the step of faith to come and she has been

serving so faithfully in our hosting up to today. So this year in Chinese

New Year, I decided to visit the family because I want the parents to

know the pastor. I want the parents to know what community position is part

of. And I'll let you know that our leaders do send her back sometimes

after Sunday because we meet our people in halfway. We believe in the principle

that as people make the effort as leaders to encourage them, we should also

make the effort to meet their needs because we mn't understand that for first generation

Christians. Sometimes parents don't understand because I grew up also not being at not

being a first generation. But there will be a sentiment like, wah,

have you become an extremist? You know, why must you travel all the

way early morning? Do this? Do that? Has you become an extremist?

Have you all had that comments from parents before? You know, just

do the minimal. Don't have to be so extreme one but the next church.

Honestly, a lot of things we do can be seen as radical.

What is radical? Radical basically means beyond the norm, beyond the ordinary.

But to me, that's not even radical. That is all being gone.

If God asked you to do it seems radical. Do it, Just just

do it. There's so many stories I believe there is in some money that

is like Zitian, so many stories in your life. But we first got

to give our heart to the Holy Spirit, to yield to this community.

You know, I was born in this church as well, in a sense,

I got saved through this church twenty years. Really, I give my

heart to Jesus for twenty years. My personal conviction is basically this life,

and I tell people this exs is my first church and will be my last

church. I'm here to stay. I'm not here when things don't happen,

when there is conflict, I'll be quick to live. I've decided that this

is a place I will grow. There are many great churches outside really,

but being a son of the House, this is my conviction. Right.

So while you're away, you're in some money, make eggs your home.

This is a great place. Honestly, you have great leaders. They will

support you, they'll care for you, pray for you, and one day

you will do the same for them. So what can I do last?

Like show up for your church and be consistent. They show up for their

community. Man daily, Sure up, I tell my church in Eli,

I don't need a three hundred church. Really, I don't need. If

God added, God gives great. It was a danger of being a very

big church. You have three hundred, but when you call for help,

only the tithern up ten percent? Where are the ninety percent? Where the

ninety percent? So show up for a church. Be consistent, Be consistent,

step up for your church, be committed. All these leaders, they

were all one campus student as well. Today do are married, some are

on the way I think, And you know, it's so easy to say

that I'm graduated. I've graduated from Nottingham, I live. It's so easy.

we who are not serving yet should step up. Because when we step up,

what you're doing is that you are relieving the burden of your leaders so

that they can focus on other things. Serve your church, be convicted,

always help. Why I say, don't serve because you are told to serf

because you have a strong conviction that God is leading you to shut out excuse

us the excuse proofla. I think the modern day church today struggle a lot

bit this that people are giving more and more excuses of why they cannot be

found in church serving. Then rather serf itself right something to your leadership,

be courageous. Point number five is the hardest I can tell. It is

the hardest. You know. You talk about submission, You yourself are flawed

as a leader. Why should I listen to you? There is a very

worldly spirit, you know, but if you look at good bliblical teaching,

the Bible encourages us to submit to our eldest. To submit to leadership itself

is a principle. We may not agree with it, but please trust God

and trust the wisdom of your eldest. Because when we are young we can't

see it. But when you're older we would then understand why they advise us

to consider this. Consider that, UH show with you very quickly. You

know. In Neeli, we just moved to a new venue, very nice,

right the venue because they went at this three one to three last week

when missions in Kneeli is a very nice venue. We took the time to

pray and scouted the land of venue life. So the very is so nice

that the owner actually allows us to use their high nd range sound system.

and that's an amazing favor. Okay. So about last week I was

informed by my elder runcept for perhaps it's time for you to move out of

the venue because we couldn't land on certain terms with the owner. Okay,

So for three Sundays, in order to save costs for the church, we

cleaned the venue. So we schedule homes. We cleaned the venue, including

the toilet, because we wanted to pull down the costs. Then we also

feel that, okay, maybe in the long term it's not sustainable, right,

When the direction was given, you've got to be ready to move out.

I can't imagine how I feel on the ground. Pray you move your

church. Then now you're going to inform your church to move back to another

venue. So I also struggled with it. But they don't understand. I

also struggled with they don't know what they're talking about. I struggled in that,

but you know it's the conviction that the only spirit gave me. Submit

to your elders, trust their wisdom. The only reason why I'm still able

to lead Kneeli, it's because they have entrusted to me the role. The

role is not mine, you know, I'm just a steward expected to be

faithful in carrying out God's will. So point I'm five submit to your leadership

requires curve rich because if you don't have the courage to sub me, it'll

be very difficult for us to grow the church. So I'm excited for X

Kneel because fifth May, we don't have a venue yet. Today after worship

service, we're moving our things out. And you know, prior to securing

this new venue, we really told the owner that the one man is a

trial period. So the expectation is set as trial and for long term we

will discuss on certain terms. We couldn't agree on certain terms, so privats

are privats that we will have a venue soon. For next week, I

believe we will have we'll have a revenue. But the point of this message

is submission is high. You know why because it will touch on your pride.

It will really humble you. So when you like someone, you go

up to your leader, and your leaders say, I think you should wait

a while more. It hurts your pride, isn't it. Then you say

things like you know, if I don't go after her, another guy will

go after her. Or you have a leader telling you that you know in

exam time, be found in church, don't disappear in exam time still surfing

church. It hurts right because you want to keep that scholarship. You're want

to keep that good grade. But yet here your leader is telling you to

honor your serving to God. It does hurt. I can tell you submission

will always yield a glorious testimony. Submission will always build correct in you.
