Proclaim that I'm ABLE so that "All May Know" | Dr Daniel Kong

You're listening to a message to go from at church. We hope this message

will light up your day. So we're gonna move on to UH sharing.

And I guess I'm pretty excited about this because it's my first time sharing for

a long time, UH with family and and and I'm always looking forward to

this. But when I share this, it also comes from a place uh

of I think a lot of real things happened in the last couple of weeks.

I've been sharing my whole means, my wife, et cetera. Uh

and and and I think sometimes when things are going right with the Lord,

uh, you know something that me could come to do what he does best,

low to see kill and destroyed. But the good thing about it is

that we are still standing here. So I'm sharing from a place of proclamation

that we are still standing and some of these things that I'm going to be

sharing, it's going to be hopefully it will bless you long. Let me

just pray before I begin. All right, Lord, we want to give

you thanks Lord for just the amazing one month that we have had with our

spiritual leader, passicandists and the rest of the church community as well at large.

We want to thank you, because you know you've been speaking to us

ever so clearly about our focus, our vision, and our direction for our

church. So we continue to just write in that vain Lord and do what

we're called to do, so that all Father may know of your name will

declare that we pray that Father, you'll so be with us today as we

continue to just you know, download from you. I want to hide behind

the cross, and I just pray that you use use the servant of yours

mightily as best uh you can. True me, Lord, just need me

pray amen? All right? So serving the Lord has always been something that

I do it with fear and trembling. As I mentioned to you for those

of you who do not know the term CPC's church plant Coordinator, I have

the privilege to lead this church for the last two years. But every every

time I take it on this role, it's not something that's easy for me

because if those of you who know me, I'm not really the front stage

kind of guy. In short, I am the backstage, behind the scenes,

reliable guy, but not uh, front stage ministry. And this is

something that I've always do it, I would say unnaturally, but it's something

that you know I'm called to do, then we'll just do it lack so

very prayerful and also sometimes I feel were underqualified and also under under equipplent in

that sense. But when I mean, how many you feel that way sometimes,

whether it is at work or ministry, or you know, there's something

that is taller than what you can handle. And this is where I'm coming

from, coming from a place of humility that I'm doing or sometimes we as

leaders do what we do, uh, from not from our strength, but

really from God's strength and grace. And I'm going to be sharing, uh

from scripture today, but before we go further, you know, the Bible

has many stories of similar kind of scenarios where people that are maybe perhaps not

the most equipped, not the most suitable candidate by the norms of what we

see in in what we see in our society. But you know, even

sometimes when we plan as best we can, things do not go according to

plan. I think I shared a little bit about how some of the struggles

that we've had in the wider community, our church community. Uh, this

is because sometimes things just don't go according to plan. And we can plan

all we do, I mean, just share with you even for me in

my life. I first started off wanting to do a degree in it.

I like to tinker with coding and all that kind of things. I end

up becoming a civil engineer and did a PhD in civil engineering. Is so

far from what I've actually planned. And this is where when the when Lord,

the Lord directs you to something, you just gotta follow him and then

the obedient. So nothing in my life is really planned. Even this is

not planned. I didn't plan to become a CPC, just somehow it became.

Uh. And some of you may know the history that we were based

in Melbourne for a while Domina Uh basically member for a while. And back

then when I was in Melbourne, we were in Melbourne, myself, my

wife and back then only one kid. We were very comfortable doing church.

We were serving. I was serving in the church for twelve years in Melbourne,

very large, mega church. So sometimes you know, with mega churches,

you don't do too much uncomfortable things for me at least. Uh.

And then later in our final year in Melbourne, got callless to plant X

in Melbourne again fear and trembling, Uh took on that role. Uh.

And then of course X Melbourne. Now it's quite I think quite how many

years just's for eleven years? I think maybe more lost count. Yeah,

but you know it's growing from strength to strength. And really all it is

is just a simple out of obedience. And I think every one of us

are like that. We just jalan first, pray that God would continue to

you know, flow and allow us to do what we're called to do.

And then we don't have everything charted out. And I think every time we

start a new journey, new job, new new country, new territory,

et cetera, it's always like that, right, It's something that is often

and we need to always ask God for more right, and this is where

God meets us. Kay. And even when we came back, we had

everything planned. When I say plan, we were quite comfortable. We had

a dog, we had a house, we had car, had kids born

there. We had a six month six week old kid when we shipped him

back to Malaysia. So again what I'm trying to say is that sometimes when

you think you have got things planned the way you plan, God just turns

things around and just brings you and it's exciting and then this way you depend

on Him more, rely on him more again. And it's been like that

ever since whenever, and we're still doing it in this world. Okay,

daily dependence, and I hope you understand whre I'm coming from. Okay,

all right, He will provide as we step into it, so all we

are caught to do is just be faithful. His power is made perfect through

our desperation, through our weaknesses, all right. And yeah, you know,

let's just move to what I want to share today. I have put

up something on the screen. It will make a bit more sense at the

end of it. But why food, I'll tell you later. But yeah,

it is to proclaim that I am able because, like I said,

even for me to stand here today as a family saying today we are able

because God enables us to do what we're called to do. So God is

able. As last year's theme, this year is about declaring, about professing

or proclaiming. So this is where I'm able to do what we are called

to do. I say, I replace it yourself, like you can do

this too, right, because God enables you to do so? All right?

And I hope this is the common theme that we see in the Bible,

that God uses people that are not really superbly equipped or in the correct

checklist to then do what he's called them to do. And what I've discovered

is that there is four major key ingredients to how this works. Now the

reason why I used to work increased because I'm thinking a team of food.

Now, have you ever tasted something that is very complex? And sometimes they

yesterday when we were we were had in the meal with lorena and also gape,

they cooked a beef booing on or something that probably butchering the name,

all right, So there's a bit of complexity in sometimes the broth or the

sauce or you know, and and and some things are more straightforward you taste

nice. So I saw strated correct, Like I think when it's a week

more complex, it takes a bit more time to develop. And I'm going

to be sharing a story today from the Bible, and I will also be

slowly talking to some of the complexities and the ingredients that are being utilized as

the testimony unfolds in that story. Okay, Okay, that's why I put

the whole thing about secret spices, you know, like the like the KFC,

you know, Jennifer herbs and spices crying because we don't really know,

but it tastes good, right, So so I just encourage you that,

you know, as you go through different things, hold on to some of

these uh uh key ingredients and hopefully your journey or your walk will have more

peace even though you go to the chaos. Chaosness is the chaos of what

life throws said, you are you okay? And this will allow you to

maximize your full potential. Okay. Now, one thing that I want to

quickly say before I share the story is that these ingredients is not complex and

a lot of cooking is like this, use very simple ingredients to make very

complex This is correct. You don't have like I mean, you can like

buy a very complex, already premixed kind of thing, but it's not gonna

be the same as a home cook kind of a variation where you take the

raw stuff, put it together, love it a bit more treated, I

mean say treated. I feel like scientists. Now you apply a bit of

cooking treatment, you know, time, and then it becomes the complexity as

it is. But the good thing about this is simple ingredients all the time.

And this is what we're going to be talking about. Simple ingredients.

Okay, now, um, okay, One thing that I want to quickly

say first is that as you read this story, you realize one thing.

The guy in this story is not perfect Okay. He also may not have

the full ability okay, but his best ability is his availability. Okay wow.

Yeah. So basically he just avails himself. And then God again takes

something simple and makes it something a bit more refined and complex. So the

question to you is whether one you're available. That's the first thing. I'm

quite sure all of us are not so busy for God la, so most

of us that we're available. But the second thing you ask yourself is whether

you're willing? Okay. The willingness is one thing that I think most of

us sometimes struggle with. Okay, we're available, but we may not be

willing now Okay. So if you look at the Bible history, a lot

of times God uses people that are not quite right right. They use people

like texts, uh, people that are you know, uneducated fishermen. Uh.

They even use a Christians layer to to do you know what he's uh,

you know, to reach the loss, et cetera. So again,

these are sometimes even I would say, not so good ingredients. But to

make it work, he you know, he just turn things around us.

So just trust the process. And one thing that I remember from this is

that can I next light cover of what next time I put up there?

Oh yeah, this rediscript first? Okay, yeah, thank you Jesus.

Okay Isaiah six eight Isaiah six is. Then I heard the voice of the

Lord saying, whom shall I send and who will go for us? And

I said, here, I am send me. This is the part,

like I said, as long as you're available and you're willing, you worried,

checked two boxes. Okay, Now I have another slide. Okay,

so uh this this slide, it's all about food today. This light here

is I remember the time when Jess uh was just delivered, had had a

child, Zach by the way, our kids okay, and then uh the

mom, her mom came along. Okay. Her mom is one of those

very amazing uh cook's chef. Whatever. When I say amazing, right,

is she takes very simple stuff and makes it very complex. Whenever I open

the fridge, right, I always make excuses to go out and kind because

to look at the stuff, like I don't know why I get put together.

But when her mom stayed verse right, she looked at the weirdest things

in the fridge and somehow put something together and it's a lot. I mean,

you laugh at her because sometimes she uses a lot of like uh older,

unconventional food, sometimes even expire food, but somehow it to tastes amazing.

So again, this is uh what I'm trying to illustrate here. Sometimes

when you open the fridge. And we've heard about this before. They was

this term that they use some meals that they whatever you get to find a

fridge kind of meal, right is the proper term. Yeah, it's really

just finding and utilizing what you have, right, And two different people opening

the fridge can look at it and have a different outcome altogether. If I

look at the fridge, I cannot do much. But when her mom,

my mother in law, does that, it's amazing. And this is okay

music cat wow, Okay. Yeah, So this is likened to how God

sometimes see things, or rather the little that we see. God can take

that little and make something amazing out of it. Yeah. I'm not saying

my mother in law is God, but it's just an illustration. Okay,

let m know. Okay, all right. Otherwise anyway, Yeah, so

during that same period, like I said, open the fridge. I always

look for junk, I always find to top out, but you know she

always come out with something amazing. And God, if you believe God can

do that because of either his you know, history with him or your journey

with him that God's it will do. So then you just allow the chef

to do his work. And sometimes it's like this, right, when we

go through different things, we often complain why so long we're hungry? Right,

and sometimes we say with doubt the ability. But you know, time

and time again, if you trust a chef, a trained person in this

case, God, it will be amazing. And I put this next one

here. How do you watch Master Chef? Before I was in Australia,

so I love Master Chef Australia. They I was hoped to it because some

time and it's amazing to see what they can do with simple ingredients. Okay,

And really, what I'm trying to say is that leave you to the

pros. Okay, it will be amazing because if even things that are simple

and even sometimes even dead ingredients can be utilized to something more amazing because it's

in the right hands. Okay. So whenever you go through different challenges praise

God in the process as well. God is gonna make it amazing. God

is gonna make something amazing from your life through you. But I know it's

much challenging to praise Him in the process, but I encourage you to do

so. Okay, And I'll come to the actual story that I'm we're talking

about, and I hope they understand where I'm coming from. But we're gonna

be speaking. We're gonna be looking at the Book of Samuel for Samuel rather

and this is where to give you a bit of background, so you can

turn your Bibles to Perst Samuel chapter fourteen, just to give your background.

This is Jonathan that we're talking about. And remember Jonathan, Yeah, Jonathan

is the son of Saul, King Saul. Okay. And then you know

usually for any prince or king sorry prince in this case, will be the

next in line to be king. Okay. So this story here talks about

a battle that is very limited in terms of the what they can do in

their army, and they still want the battle. That's the context. But

also just to rewind a bit before what we're Before reading this, they have

also had a small big read and then the enemy is not too happy,

and then they come and try to attack them again. But this is a

very strange because Saul, sorry Saul, Jonathan was meant to be the new

king, the heir right. But Jonathan is also good friends with David,

right King David, David Golie that David. And of course we know history

that David eventually became king, right, so what has happened there? The

future king didn't quite become king. In fact, those two are best friends.

And the funny story is that Saul tried to kill David many times in

the Bible. So it's a very funny plotl in the Bible, so read

about it if you want to. But this is where Jonathan is so focused.

He's such a faithful man of God that he would just focus on what

he's called to do, even if sometimes the natural do not make sense.

And actually like he's next in line, he's supposed to be in line with

his father to not even like David, but he just trust God. And

yeah, we're gonna pick up from first before I go that even you know,

he he he. If you go to chapter eighteen, he took off

his road past it to David. That's a symbol of like, Okay,

I trust you you can become king. You take the salt, you take

my bowl, you take my belt, et cetera. Okay, because he

is so focused on the purpose and plan that God has for him. Okay,

and this is amazing. Now now that you know the bit of the

background, let's look through scripture. I'm gonna read from first Samuel fourteen.

Let me just find the thing. Okay, So fourteen it says this Jonathan

one day, Jonathan's son of Saul, said to the young armor bearer,

Arma, bear is the guy is his chie a sistem carrying his armor.

That's why it's called armor bearer. Okay, come, let's go to the

to the Philistine outposts on the other side. But do not tell my father.

Doing thing is very strange to you. Was going to go to the

oppost kind of a thing if you look true here right, Why do you

think he didn't tell anybody but his trust, the assistance, the psychic.

Any thoughts on why it's so specifically that he do not tell. Father will

not agree. He might get in trouble, as he might get killed,

et cetera, et cetera. Okay, one thing, I just want to

quickly mention here is sometimes whenever God reviews to you something, we also tell

people that we trust first, right, people that you can rely on,

because sometimes when God deposes a dream for you, if you share the wrong

company, Uh, the input also can be a bit off. And then

it's sort of what's the opposite enabling disabling? Uh, it will prevent you

from really achieving that dream because your dream is actually crushed before it could come

to fruition. So you've got to be very careful as well. And in

this case, he trusts his armor bearer. Okay, let's move on to

verse two. Saul was staying on the outskirts of Gibea under the Promegranate tree

okay in midran Okay. So Saul and his his contuo, six hundred men

were under a tree, among whom were all the funny names. Ahija,

who was wearing an ethot. He was a son of Ichabod's brother Ahitub,

son of Phineas, I think the son of Eli, the lord's priests in

Shiloh. Okay. No one was aware that Jonathan had left. So if

you ever need to have new baby names for those of you who are expecting

you can consider these names are quite interesting. Anyway, let's move on on

the other side of the past. When we are on chapter verse four.

On the other side of the past, Jonathan intended to cross to reach the

Philistine outpost. There was a cliff and one was called Bozz okay, and

the other was seen or see anyway. One cliff stood to the north toward

mcmash, and then the other to the south toward Ghibba. Okay. So

this was already a very complicated mission. Okay. It's not the easiest mission.

Okay. There were only two people, they were ill equipped. They

went to the whole post. They had to face at least twenty twenty five

men. Okay, it was not there's already a mission that's doomed to fail

in terms of numbers in America numbers. Okay. So I put up this

thing, this next, lie, next one. Okay. It ain't always

convenient. Okay. Sometimes God calls you to the not so easy things as

well as the easy things. Okay. Sometimes God set everything for you,

but sometimes smallphen it it's not okay. So when God calls you for the

not so convenient things, if we face opposition, okay, do we automatically

say that the devil's at play be gone. All right, you cast out

the demonstrate away, right, But sometimes God allows you to go through these

things as well, to push that rock up the hill so that you can

walk in your full purpose. Okay, and his life, you know,

this is this guy's life, maybe uncomfortable, but you will see that at

the end it's still a happy ending. Okay, Now let's move on.

Let's pick up from verse six. Jonathan said to his young armor bearer,

Come, let's go over to the outpost of the uncircumcised men. Perhaps the

Lord will act on our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving,

whether by many or by few. Perhaps the Lord will act, or even

then, you know, perhaps the Lord will you let mess doing all this

right, it's already a battle, a challenge. It's never easy, but

maybe maybe God will help. So you know, I mean, let's say,

if you transition to someplace new, maybe got my step in the picture.

What will you feel, man, Maybe you'll sure, maybe you're not.

This is what faith is really all about. Okay, maybe he will,

maybe he won't, But I will still do what I'm called to do.

Okay, That is really faith. Faith is really stepping into something that

is unknown and something that's impossible in this case, and something that is uh

bigger than what you can handle. And then of course that would mean bigger

faith. Okay, now we're seven, let's read do all, sorry,

do all that you have in mind. His Almabara said, go ahead,

I'm with you hard and so well. This is really you go. I

go, you jump, I jump, you do anything. I will be

with you. This is the best psychekick ever wing. I love the response,

you go, I go. I trust you. He's the real deal.

Man. Do you do what God has placed in your heart? This

I'm a bear talking to you, Jordan. I'm with you. I will

go to a battle with you. Who are we surrounding ourselves with is the

question here? Because sometimes when you surround yourself with people that it's not like

the armor bearer again you like man, yea, I think I cannot do

this love. So surround yourself with people of that like minded, people that

are equally if not have more faith or in equal faith. Don't come and

with somebody that is not not not there to encourage you, okay, because

why we need that, we need someone to stand by you, okay,

and that so sometimes even for for us to do what we do right as

a family, if this fether isn't there, my wife, it's also a

very challenging man. This is my alma burilla. Okay, this is the

next time. Yeah. So someone to stand with you through the storms of

life is what I'm trying to say. Look for the right people, and

it's say sometimes you say, surround yourselves with community, your homes, your

your your your church, your church plan, you know, the community here

because you need someone to say I'm with you heart and soul, and therefore

we can do this together. And so far Okay, now verse eight,

I'm gonna it's gonna get more exciting here. Jordan said, come on,

then we will cross over toward them, let them see us if they if

they say to us, wait there and untill we come, we will stay

where we are and not go up to them. But if they say come

up to us, we will sorry, come up to us, we will

climb up because there will be out sign that the Lord has given up,

has given them to our hands. Okay. So you see here the posture

that Jonathan has. You say, if he's like this also, okay,

if he's like that, it's okay, I'm paraphrasing here, whatever it is,

I trust you Lord. So he's got this very open heart. And

this is really paraphrasing here, God, have it your way, let your

will be done. I don't really care too much. I know the final

outcome, but the methodology, the approach is whatever. I'm not too worried

about it because I know you're there for me. I trust you, Lord,

And this is one way of allowing God to do something supernatural if you

can trust him like that. Sometimes for USA in the humans as we need

to have everything lined up before we do something. But this is where we're

saying, God, whatever it is, what what outcome is? I trust

you a lot. I let you do. We believe that victory will be

there just because you're there. I don't have to know too much details.

Of course, you review then fantastic got sometimes reviewed to us, but we

don't have to know everything. So again he's already shorthanded, only one for

helping him. Maybe had not much weapons, but it's still open. He's

open to anything that the Lord choose him. Okay, now I put up

this particular next one. Sorry, this guy and the Stanley says, is

very well, marry the mission? Did the model? Okay? Now,

let me explain that the model is not like supermodel and model. This is

the model as an approach, okay, how to solve certain things. The

approach. Now, mission is like a vision. So whenever you are going

for a mission, you have a target, the basically you. It's more

focused on the the why you do something? Okay. The model is sometimes

the wow you do there something? Okay? So what this? Why?

This guy? I love this? How this guy says it? And this

time he says, marry the mission? Why Mary? Because it's like a

covenant. Right, marriage is like a covenant. You sticked with the mission

and the vision regardless of mission and vision doesn't change. Actually, the method

can change. Now ever, remember uh, not too long ago we had

the year twenty twenty or twenty nineteen where everything is a bit disrupted, right,

right, The vision of God doesn't change. The mission of God doesn't

change. Maybe sometimes even the way we did church have changed, a little

bit. Okay, So here the model may have changed. In that process.

We started meeting dark times, we met as homes online, we met

at church. You can come in, you cannot come in. We went

to wearhouses to do broadcasts, et cetera. Sub musing that's an example.

Okay, we did things differently, whether it's indoor, outdoor, part whatever.

You know, the the model can change the reason why the use they

things because they think is not as serious as marriage, lave. Okay.

So sometimes when we do not agree, sometimes even the approach, you have

to check whether it is still alive the mission. If it is, it's

okay. One, it's okay to make adjustments or even pivot a little bit,

because why Ultimately, just like how this guy, right, Lord,

it doesn't matter whether it's here or this this this approach, I'm okay as

long as the vision and the mission is meant. Because there's the marriage you're

talking about, Okay, right, So throughout life we should be married to

the mission. God's mission doesn't change marriage. Like I said, it's a

commitment. It's a covenant, right, and the mission is Again, focus

back on the why, the motivation, not how. How is good to

know, but it's not the most crucial. John C. Maxwell, Okay.

John C. Maxwell said the failed plans should not be interpreted as a

failed vision. Again, it means the actual execution may be slightly different,

but it doesn't mean it's failed, just like how I use this rocketter So

you launch a different day doesn't mean that mission if you feel no, it's

just maybe a different day. But sometimes we get so over critical about God.

Why God, the timing? I thought you laid out everything for me.

How come I didn't get that interview or that job? How come things

I hit brick walls at barrass I thought, you know this is where you're

leading me, right, So it's fine to pivot a little bit, and

he says, yea, visions don't change, they are only refined. Okay,

it doesn't change. Plans rarely stay the same, and we all know

that God doesn't. It's quite creative. So a lot and our scrap or

adjusted as needed. But be stubborn about the vision always. So you say,

God, that vision, God, that mission. Okay, that shouldn't

change. But be flexible on the plan. Okay. John's in Maxo,

very very I think, very very A lot of wisdom in this uh four

sentences. I try to put it there. Now. Back to Jonathan,

he doesn't quite care. As long as the glory goes to the Lord.

That's his main focus, right, That's why I say it's okay. He's

inviting to an extent some flexibility into the picture, uh and letting it play

out. So here in church in acts, you know we uh or the

church community at large, we are also focused on trying to get people to

experience God's love. The vision, right is really to get people to experience

God's love, to to to uh, to to live like Jesus, to

experience the freedom. Helping people believe is one of our motos here and that

vision is again true to the vision and vision from God. The method can

be different, okay. So as long as you help people experience the love

of Jesus, it's okay. You do whatever it works out, okay uh.

And that's why we say an expression can be different, but the vision

and the mission has to be the same. We want people to walk in

the same purpose, to live purposonally, that is the mission as well.

We want people to be victorious, right everybody, No, no church would

want people to fail, right, So as long as we are doing that,

it's okay to have a slight variation. That's well. As so many

denominations, so many approaches, but the vision of God say to stay still

stay, stayste the same, all right. We also need to proclaim.

If you don't proclaim or profess or share, how will it ever come a

point that people would know. So it's like you don't share. If somebody

the good chocolateur just down the road, we're gonna miss you, Jacka anyway,

because we do this chuckatail run? Yeah? How do we know?

Right? How who know? So that again, stick to the vision.

So remember when we first came to even the peak. You know there was

some maybe this doesn't work out. We're so comfortable in DBCC. Right,

things are a bit different. Sound will not be the same, the stage,

the lights, et cetera. But hey, has the vision change?

Has the mission change? Okay? So again focus on what's more important.

Okay, focus on what's important. It's okay to make adjustments as long as

our eyes are always on the mission. Now Westral oh, okay, that's

say, I'm good for time. The men of the outpost shouted to Jonathan

and his armor bearer, come up to us, and we will teach you

a lesson. So Jonathan said to his armor bearer, climb up after me.

The Lord has given them into the hands of Israel. This outcomer Jonathan

climb up using his hands and feet and with his armor bearer right behind him.

And then of course eventually the Philistines fell before Jonathan and the Armabarroth followed,

and then they killed the twenty twenty five men. Okay, they did.

They achieved impossible. Okay, So what we're trying to say here is

that the outcome is the same regardless of the method. All Right, he

still won because why he puts in trust in the right place. The mission

is still achieved. Mission impossible. It still was still possible at the end,

okay. But very important is that these guys were willing, as I

mentioned earlier. As long as they're willing and gelous, if even if they

even if they are not well equipped, if there are no willing bodies,

right, nothing gets done, I know, think about it, right,

So we need people to put their hand out, whatever it is. If

all causes for something, you need to respond. Right. They weren't the

ones in the best ability, as I mentioned to you, but they were

simply available and willing. I remember Saul had six hundred people quite easily radio

in for help, right there, many radio but you know yours a reacher.

But why they still Okay, Lord, if this is your will,

I will still go ahead even though there's only two of us, uh,

and we'll equip They definitely like resources, like it's a way to put it.

But they didn't let their circumstances hold them back from what God had God's

plan for them. Okay. They trusted the Lord for the victory. And

of course here we see that they received the victory. What I put up

there, I think I put us light there. So don't don't just wait

for for you to have everything right, but just but you know, whatever

we have with Doula, work with the little. Like I said, remember

the fridge, open up, whatever you have, just use it, Okay,

God will make it unique and special and you still see an impact.

In fact, this is where you bring glory to God because why you know,

it's not from you, right like we are doing this. It's not

from our own capacity. Our own human capacity is really all from the Lord.

Right. And one thing I wanted to just share here is that if

know, they sing songs about him killing lesser, lesser than David than He

went on a rampage. And maybe we laugh at this because it is a

Bible story, right, right, Sometimes you know likes you see people like

that as well, when they're hurt, they rampage, right. So sometimes

men are like this, we are very bitter, very prideful. And Jonathan

here is one of those what I call those that want to break that cycle.

I want to break that chain. Do not allow just because it's family

is always like this. Therefore he's like, okay, I I it is

my destiny. He doesn't want to allow that to happen. So he strives

for big truth. Okay, No, some of us may have a family

history of depression, and we say, because family is always like that,

it's bound to come down here. You're already living that life of depression already.

Friend, you're not giving God a chance. You have to have that

breakthrough mindset. Or something may say, oh, you know, divorce is

rampant in my family. You know, every uncle, auntie down the line

or who went through that my parents is a broken family. You need to

stop there, break that chain and pray for breakthrough. Why because even in

your brokenness, even in your you know lack, I mean family like that

is core can still use you. Opens the fridge. Hey, it's good

ingredients. Man can still make it work, all right, So do not

limit yourself. Second, Corentents Chapter twelve is verses nine to ten. It

says, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect

in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness,

so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's

sake, sometimes we delight in weakness. Right, all the insults, people

laughing at you, the hardships, the mockery. The person cutions the difficulty,

the challenges, et cetera. But for when I'm weak, then I'm

strong. So do not forget this. You can break that cycle. You

just have to believe. Okay. So that's the second one. Two more

Right. Why because a lot of love is putting, a lot of

care is put into it. You speak to the part, you slowly watch

it, similar you put it in the oven. You do tien processes even

though it's not really necessary. Why because there's love in there? And speaking

of love right, Love makes people do very silly things. I remember when

I was a teen, when I was doing this dating thing, giving it

a goal. I do love silly things in the name of love, things

that don't make sense. I came from all boys school as just to give

you some font text louder, sorry a bit more, I guess limited exposure.

So any time go to the tuition center, got puppy love that kind

of thing. Anyway, let's not go there. But we do stupid things

for love. It's what I'm trying to stay here. So love your God

and you will do stupid things. Stupid, right, It's not like bad

stupid, you know. It's just that you would put logic aside and trust

the Lord. Isn't that what love is all about? You know? People

marriages, people do a lot of things because why they're silly in love,

really says, But over time the love is diminish. So I pray that

God's love will always be the one that would drive you, drive you,

not to say for silly obedience, but really trusting him because why you love

him, you will do things for God. Okay, what I mean by

foolish is dead. Sometimes it may it seem logical. I shared the story

that we came back after thirteen years being abroad. When I came back,

this is twenty thirteen. When we came back, we left everything that's established

secure, secure environment experience. We have a large house there as well,

of his love for his king and his Lord, his real king. Okay,

his love for God trying over it. It's desire for fame, power,

fortune, et cetera. Oil, material things like what we sometimes strive

for today. That is the greatest expression. When you love God, you
