  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day today. The title of the message that I have

  3. for you today, uh, it was it's something that I think got placed

  4. in my heart maybe a week back. Uh, you know, as you're

  5. worshiping, And the title is A people of faith. Okay, A people

  6. of faith? Right. So I've got a question, was this morning I

  7. believe most, if not all of us here I believe us. You believe

  8. in Jesus. Okay, Uh, maybe you believe in Jesus for a long

  9. time. Maybe you are still a new believer. Uh, whatever that you

  10. are believing in. What is the difference be with us those of us who

  11. call ourselves Christian? Actually, yeah, just to let you know in terms

  12. of uh Christian now, yeah, anyway, in terms of the word Christian,

  13. right, Jesus didn't didn't name us Christian. It was other people that

  14. name the Christians Christians, And of course we adopt that name. You know,

  15. or who you am a Christian? Actually the right word you say,

  16. I'm a follow of Christ. I think that's more accurate. But the problem

  17. with that is that you have to follow Christ as y'all don't get what I

  18. mean? Right, Yeah, you say, or disciple Christ means you have

  19. to follow Christ, now, you know. And then now, of course,

  20. now we've got so many denominations now and and and sometimes we we very

  21. happy to say, oh I'm from this background from metadays, I'm from American.

  22. But if I were to just uh go back to know, what we're

  23. supposed to do in the Bible is actually just to follow Christ, right,

  24. right? So, so what makes those of us who call Jesus a Lord

  25. and savior, those of us who are disciples of Christ? What makes us

  26. different than other people? Right? What is the one thing that makes it

  27. different? Right? Uh? Well, I believe this in this statement,

  28. that we are a people of faith. What do you mean by that?

  29. Well, just even another deeper picture. In today's world, there's a lot

  30. of influencers, right, there's a lot of influencers. There's a lot of

  31. ideas, there's a lot of thought processors, you know, there's a lot

  32. of people who want to identify and a lot of things, you know.

  33. Uh, and mostly it's from the westler because I think they are quite free.

  34. Uh, those of us who are still surviving and all don't really have

  35. time thinking about all these things. Okay, but but but you know,

  36. and then now now they're redefining a lot of things. They're redefining marriage.

  37. You know, suddenly when I grew up, there's only boy and girl.

  38. And then now I don't know what else that they added into there. There's

  39. there's a lot of influencers out there in the world that once your attention,

  40. right, that once to to affect the way you you think? Uh that

  41. that once you know that there's all ideas. There's a lot of things out

  42. there, right and and as a believer of Jesus, what do you believe

  43. in? I don't know. It's a very simple question, but I think

  44. it's a very profound question. What do we subscribe to? What idea do

  45. you subscribe to? Now? Is it the latest thing that makes sense?

  46. Only? Or make senser? So if oh, last time people were believing

  47. in things, last times, very very can they say low to very old

  48. school? We're old fashioned? No? Now we are modern already, it's

  49. new already, it's more updated, it's more upgraded, it's better. Is

  50. it better? I don't know. Someone say yes, someone say no.

  51. And there is a lot of things out there that wants your attention. So

  52. what is your guiding taught friends as you live this life. For those of

  53. us who call Jesus a lot and savior, we are people of faith.

  54. What does that mean to you? Okay, don't worry. I'm not just

  55. gonna give my opinion. But I'm just gonna read God's word. Okay.

  56. So you can turn to Hebros. Chapter eleven, right, and when you

  57. talk about faith, Hebrews Chapter eleven is a very good chapter to read about

  58. faith. You know, it gives you the definition of faith itself. Right

  59. in the first Scripture, it says, now, faith is the substance of

  60. things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. For by it,

  61. the elders obtain a good testimony. And by faith we understand that the worlds

  62. were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen

  63. were not made of things which are visible. Okay, this is not poetic

  64. license, I guys. We sometimes read the Bible and we think that it's

  65. poetic license because there are It's not scientific. No, no, guys,

  66. it's very very black and white. By faith, we understand that the worlds

  67. were framed by the word of God. You read Genesis, God created the

  68. world. Who created the world? That is the coroner Nola. Maybe you

  69. know it's evolution and cities are all ideas. We understand that the worlds were

  70. framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were

  71. not made of things which are visible. I can go a whole message on

  72. this yourself and how the world wants to deceive if you derail you you know,

  73. depending on what you subscribe to. Let me go back to the first

  74. statement. We are people of faith. Okay, who are we as of

  75. people God? Let's go deeper a little bit, can first ter two nine

  76. ten? Okay, but you are chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a

  77. holy nation, his own special people that you may proclaim the praises of Him

  78. who called you out of darkness into his marvelous like. And when you talk

  79. about darkness, it's not like, oh, you know, you're in darkness,

  80. you're doing bad things. No, no, no. Darkness sometimes just

  81. means you cannot see. You cannot see, okay, before you know Jesus,

  82. you cannot see that as a God that loves you. Before you know

  83. Jesus, you cannot see that. Actually, can pray and ask God and

  84. go to God. You cannot see his darkness. You're in darkness. You

  85. don't know where to go to, right, you can't see. But now

  86. he called you out into his marvelous like you now can see. You now

  87. understand this purpose in your life. You now understand that there's a reason why.

  88. You may not know the reason, but you know there is a reason.

  89. You not understand that you can pray and go to God before this,

  90. you go to who now we see, right? Who once were not the

  91. people but now are the people of God. Before Xbu and before you came

  92. here, we're all strangers, right, But now of course some are still

  93. strangers because you're knew and you don't know each other. But for those of

  94. us who have been here long enough, we have friends now, right,

  95. We have a community. We know each other. We may not see each

  96. other all the time. I mean, I see you guys most of the

  97. times, you know when I come here, and pretty sure, okay,

  98. I apologize I cannot stay for lunch, rushing off after this, but next

  99. time can next time. But but you see, we know each other,

  100. right, and some of us here I know you for years, you know,

  101. so we know we may not be best friends, but we are people

  102. of God? Right? See what is what unifies us? Just just because

  103. I'm a nice person? No, see I'm not very nice. Uh but

  104. but but we are united? Why by God? Right? Because we we

  105. now see that we are united by God? Right, we are now the

  106. people of God who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

  107. Wow, I tell you once gifture so much true? You know what do

  108. I mean by not obtain mercy before this? When you do something wrong?

  109. Now who you ask for given us from? Now? Do you know that

  110. you can ask for gifness from God? Because you have mercy before these?

  111. No mercy? No? Oh I mess up a you know I don't want

  112. use but you know, Josiah, Josiah actually a life. It's like this

  113. is not just enjoy it. Do whatever you want to do. You know,

  114. it's okay. There was no mercy before this, anything that decided because

  115. he couldn't see that there's a God that loves him. He couldn't see that

  116. there's a God that can forgive him. He couldn't see. He was in

  117. darkness. But now he sees. And because of that, when he messes

  118. up, when he goes through trouble, when he goes through whatever in life,

  119. he has mercy from heaven. He can go to God and say,

  120. God, I need your help. How powerful that is for those of us

  121. to follow Christ. Such a simple thing but so profound. Amen, I

  122. can talk about the other stuff. You know, you are chosen generation.

  123. Wa. Everybody likes to be chosen. Everybody likes to be special, and

  124. all of us are specially they say here his own special people. Even the

  125. Bible says that a royal priesthood. Do you know the significance of being a

  126. priest to stand to intercede for others? We are a royal priesthood. No,

  127. because we intercede for those who cannot see. He's powerful. No,

  128. he's not just a clergy. No, you're not clergy. It is not

  129. the past is the leaders so you no, no, no, everyone here

  130. you are probably presthood. That's why we believe that prayer works. That's why

  131. you pray. Also, God will listen to you. Amen. Imagine now

  132. if the format is a reas no no, no, only passes stealing and

  133. pray, and only God listens to him. The rest of you have to

  134. submit your prayer. Your prayer not as powerful. Do you know that that's

  135. not what we believe in the Bible says you are a royal priesthood. You

  136. when you pray for your family members, when you pray for your mom and

  137. your dad, God listens, he sees you interced That's why pray is powerful.

  138. That's way in Cush we ever pray, right. That's why when we

  139. say pray for the sake, we believe that we healed. Why, because

  140. we are people of faith. It's not logical, guys, it's not logical

  141. at all to pray for someone who is sick, give him medicine, give

  142. him treatment, pray. But to us is logical because we use God's logic.

  143. Because we are people of faith. We don't rely on logic only.

  144. We lie on faith. A royal priesthood, a holy nation. Why holy

  145. You're not nation? Means just tells you that there's a set of rules and

  146. loss that we abide to. Right and holly just being separated, different difference,

  147. separated for who for God. That's who we are, the people of

  148. faith, not just anybody, not just any people, not just listening to

  149. what the world says. There is a clear demarcation of who we are.

  150. Amen. Hebrews eleven six but without faith, it is impossible to please him.

  151. For he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that

  152. He is a rewarder of those who diligionalistic him. Do you know that without

  153. faith? If you operate as a believer without faith, you cannot please God?

  154. He said here in the word not, I say honor. If you

  155. don't act in faith, you can't please him. What does that mean?

  156. Now? Well, don't worry our goodeper, okay? Because he who comes

  157. to God must believe that he is. We say we are believers of Christ.

  158. We say we live in God. Do we believe that when we pray

  159. God listens? Do we believe that God is the rewarder of those who diligently

  160. sick him diligion? Are we diligient enough to say? God? Now do

  161. we know that here? Or is it you know something I get there?

  162. Or so it's like that, Oh Lord, I really wish you can give

  163. me this. But if not, it's Okayla, It's okayla, God,

  164. I understand because logic, right, Hello, God's not logical? Have you

  165. seen him before? All of you believe in Jesus? Right you also Jesus

  166. before? Maybe some havela. I have not seen no, but I'm here.

  167. It takes faith to believe, right, It takes faith to believe that

  168. this guy named Jesus is the son of God. He died. Is that

  169. proof? I don't approve. Prove to me, pass Alvin that you're saying

  170. it's true. I have faith, substance of things, hope for the evidence

  171. of things not seen. That's faith, right, that's faith, he Brews

  172. eleven. So many people, so many examples of faith. We go deeper

  173. into faith, right, Okay, don't worry to follow me. We're on

  174. his journey together. Oh what do you mean by faith? I don't really

  175. understand what faith is, well you reader, he Brews eleven. Then you

  176. get an idea of what it means to be a person of faith and to

  177. act in faith. By faith, Able offered to God a more excellent sacrifice

  178. than came, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous God testifying of

  179. his gifts, and through it he being dead. Steal speaks by faith.

  180. He not was taken away, so that he did not see death and was

  181. not found because God had taken him. For before he was taken he had

  182. this testimony that he pleased God. How many we want to please God?

  183. He had faith, he pleased God, But without faith it is impossible to

  184. please him. For he also comes to God must believe that he is,

  185. and that he is a rewarder of those who diligiently seek him by faith.

  186. Noah, being divinely worn of things, not yet seeing movie God house godly

  187. fear, prepared an art for the saving of his household, by which he

  188. condemned the world, and he became heir of the righteousness, which is according

  189. to his faith. Noah. In Hong Kong, there is a museum.

  190. Okay uh, Noah's art. It is, if I'm not mistaken, it

  191. is an acute life size model of the art. It's huge. I didn't

  192. go. I want to go. I went to Hong Kong generally by the

  193. didn't go. I want to go by me and my wife. We've got

  194. other things to do that but anyway is humongous. It's huge, right,

  195. it took faith to do it. Noah didn't know. You'll watch the movie

  196. Bruce Almighty. Some I don't think it's like that, even that those people

  197. thing it's crazy, But think about think about Noah. For example, why

  198. why is it such an amazing thing. This guy believe that God wanted to

  199. flood the earth and therefore he didn't be a small boaton. See if he

  200. built a small boat, now he probably takes a year, maybe actually less

  201. than a yearl he built a huge arc. No that can fit all the

  202. animals. No, he just built the boat. He didn't bring the animals.

  203. The animals came on their own. God was the one that led animals.

  204. But think about it, if you had that pass, would you do

  205. it? You had no wonder? People think Noah crazy. If you go

  206. to the north and you think about it. Now, how many years did

  207. he have to spend because it's only him. He didn't hire anybody. Know,

  208. it's only him and his family members building this for so many years?

  209. Now, you know we believe for something from God. Now one year,

  210. two year? Maybe we disc this guy what. I don't know how many

  211. years. Okay I did. I didn't do a full on study on it,

  212. but I probably took the kid sla Imagine building then and still believing that

  213. it's gonna one day raid. It took a lot of faith. Don't you

  214. think? No wonder? People come him crazy. I look, I think

  215. it's crazy. You know, we believe us have the benefit of hindsight.

  216. Oh you know, maybe when I was in let's say it got will you

  217. really do it? God speaking to us? Now? You know some of

  218. the things it's notice outrageous as that now, but we're really asking God,

  219. is that really you? Huh? Empty my wallet? Is it really?

  220. You? Devil? Get behind me. I'm not saying must do it now,

  221. but you get I mean it took a lot of faith. Noah took

  222. a lot of faith to do that, and he came true it rained and

  223. he was pair faith able, you know. Noah, Abraham, Sarah,

  224. Moses, Joshua, Joshua the wall. So Jericho, it's the most outlandish

  225. strategy ever. Jericho is a city that is impenetrable, okay. And the

  226. solution that God gave Joshua and the warriors are guys. Joshua was not you

  227. know they are warriors. No, they actually went and fight one. No,

  228. and God said, hey, guys, walk around the city seven times

  229. and play lovely. It took a lot of faith for them to do that.

  230. No, it wasn't even okay, as you walk around, now,

  231. put some bomb at the nothing. Just go and the walls came down.

  232. Now we can rejoice and say, oh, praace God, How bordo you

  233. will feel doing that. You've got us to do something as bordo as that

  234. boro to us. So bordola think about it, guys. Faith, he's

  235. scary. Faith. Of course, it's not just blinder. Okay. God

  236. had to speak. God gave them very clear instructions. God gave Noah very

  237. clear instructions. God gave all these people very clear instructions, and they all

  238. acted in faith. They didn't see it, but they acted in faith.

  239. What is the unifying factor about all these people? They believed even without seeing.

  240. Do you know that you believe without seeing? I just asked you the

  241. question you saw Jesus before already? I mean, pray scot if you did

  242. la. But you're here no as believers? Why do you come to church?

  243. Why do you call yourself Christian? How is Jesus real? Or you

  244. know? Do you believe? John twenty twenty nine says when Jesus addressed Thomas,

  245. after he saw Jesus, then Jesus showed him his hands right, Thank

  246. God, Jesus can show him from Thomas. Jesus said to him, Thomas,

  247. because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who

  248. have not seen and yet believe? Why? Blessed? Because we have faith?

  249. You have faith, you're here. Why do we pray? Is it

  250. just empty words? No? Have faith to believe that when we pray,

  251. God will listen to us. Right? Why do we come to church?

  252. Because I want to hang out my friends? My friends not here. I

  253. won't come with ah. Why do we come? Why? Why do you

  254. go to holmes? For those go to homes? I know you still not

  255. everybody that's okay one day? Passus Steven? Why do we go? Why

  256. do we do the things we do? Because we have faith? Passus?

  257. Stephen was very comfortable in ext Central. He wasn't even part of XBJA.

  258. When I said, hey, guys, I think God wants us to plant

  259. the church. He wasn't even xbo our guys. He was supposed to be

  260. ex Kota da MANSARAHI because we had a group of students from Excota and the

  261. summer and we've been playing if the idea, playing if the idea, playing

  262. me not serious, and playing the idea that maybe one day God will planning

  263. a church there, and then by faith it was declared by faith different ones

  264. stepped up by faith. Do we know, Sharon? Do we know that

  265. we will have some people here? Did we know that maybe the other person

  266. actually JJ was the other person had to when and planning? We didn't know,

  267. Ma, But why do we do it because we're crazier because we got

  268. nothing to do, or because we had a strategy. Guys, there was

  269. a marketing strategy the extra we're nothing. All we do is had faith,

  270. pray. I think I want me to do it. Did we know that

  271. we'll meet the people here were doing it? We didn't know. Did I

  272. know that passa Steven was going to be pasta and leading XB? You no

  273. idea? Guys, he was not in the radar at all? Right,

  274. I think I'm shure this before. He's a colleague, and I don't talk

  275. to him about it because why why do I need to talk to Hi about

  276. it? He's from Central, he's serving in campus ministry here, got hot

  277. in KD nothing and then suddenly he comes Baseln. Remember that one time you

  278. told me about planning a chest? Yea, I cannot remember. And hey,

  279. Mama, I was not interested, So come like why I think I'm

  280. interested? I'm like, huh, really can you go pray about it.

  281. No practical ma, practical logic MA. Why my ex PJA leaders should do

  282. it? Why must this guy from Central he's so far away. Don't make

  283. sense. Don't make sense. You go pray, er, go pray.

  284. Maybe God will speak and then you will get the real voice. Right.

  285. Two weeks later, he's getting stronger. And then he told me what happened

  286. in their life? Oh, you actually went and drove around Katie and prayed,

  287. hm hmm. Okay. Then by the time I say, I think

  288. by the top basket of Freddy and I said, go and pray some more.

  289. I sa him, pray some more. And then my PJ group,

  290. no one say, Gola, Charon j J stepped up. We want to

  291. do it. Okay, great, right damn like okay X Katy, you

  292. know, and in my mind like them, not them them, because they

  293. got you know, they got vested interests. They want to do the ground,

  294. they want, you know, all these things. Right then after that

  295. he went, he said, per thing, can we have a chat?

  296. Huh? It was after you turn and then he came. He said for

  297. one hour plus he said, what God is doing his life? And then

  298. I knew God was choosing him. I'm like, okay, God, I

  299. know how you work. You don't make sense one, but it makes sense.

  300. So let's see where this goes. So how do we start? We

  301. planted the homes, not even bu homes are kadie one online during pandemic.

  302. Some more who plantes un makes sense or not don't make sense. But we

  303. have faith. God say do doulah right steeve When God say do, do

  304. do and then see what happens that one. God say do do See what

  305. happen if Bordo Bordola right, But if not Bordo, then praise the Lada

  306. and look at where we are now, not because of logic, not because

  307. you got marketing plan, not because we got We had faith. And later

  308. ship I always wonder what, Lord, why why you bring this guy from

  309. Central come to PJ. He can PJ no for a spear of time,

  310. then train him Charring and I'm like, why why I don't see the relationship.

  311. I don't understand. Why not one of our PJ for us? Why

  312. he must be Stephen? And then true enough later on, Actually it's not

  313. x k D. Course God didn't say plann exctamara to me. God just

  314. say plunt church to him, God just say plunt church. Doesn't matter way,

  315. but not sunny go China. All right, So we found a place

  316. by faith. We went to look, kad how long half a year we

  317. were looking for venue. Cannot find no favor. A few near misses.

  318. Thank god we didn't take on, because if we took on, we have

  319. more headache. Now he knows that last time. Oh no, man,

  320. it's such a nice face. And then God opened the door one World hotel.

  321. You're like, this place right the favor of God. Why we have

  322. faith? We have faith? And then it dawn upon me, No,

  323. wonder God you chose en. He got no vested interest in the location.

  324. He just want to serve you, and you're using him, all of you

  325. here. We are people of faith. Remember that. Remember that Another thing

  326. I learned when I'm reading this. I used to think, because it says

  327. here for it, by it, the elders obtain a good testimony. I

  328. used to think, Oh, good testimony means I am a good pastor good

  329. testimony for all of you, right for all of you, so that you

  330. can see me and you think that I have a good Actually, no,

  331. no, I don't think it's for you all. Sorry, Yeah this might

  332. sound very strong, but I good testimony to you. I get nothing,

  333. one know for what. Maybe you encourage lanky, but I don't get anything.

  334. But when he says a good testimony, I realize that it is a

  335. good testimony to Father God in heaven because he sees me. This is my

  336. son who is obeying my command even though it don't make sense. He's following

  337. and obeying everything I ask him to do. He is a good son.

  338. I'm a good testimony to him. And do you know that when you're a

  339. good testimony to God? And when you please God? Wow, I read

  340. a piece him. Please man, very tiring? How you please man?

  341. Oh? Okay, I please that one. But pleasing God is a different

  342. story, you know. Pleasing God is a totally different story. You know,

  343. guys, So how are we living our lives? Please man? No?

  344. Please God? Right, it is a good testimony to God. I

  345. want to be a good testimony of God because I mean, logically speaking,

  346. better to be good testimony of God than manner, because men can change their

  347. mind. Right, I give you this picture for those of you have parents,

  348. you understand imagine you have a child, right, who is everything you

  349. tell? The child. You'll obey everything else the child don't understand the child

  350. to understand because your parent, you know, Mama. But everything you ask

  351. the child to do, they'll do. Don't you think it is like this

  352. is my son whom I'm proud of, who I'm pleased because whatever ask the

  353. son do and the daughter do, you'll do. Imagine you have another child.

  354. Okay, so you don't have to imagine this, but imagine whatever you

  355. say, won't do it? Not just that answer you for granted? Why?

  356. Because no matter what, they know that you are the father or a

  357. mother and you will forgive them one. They know you'll forgive them no matter

  358. what they do. They just don't push it to the limit now, but

  359. they will still do it. They won't follow exactly. Are you going to

  360. be happy with the child? But sometimes as believers we do that to God?

  361. Right, we take him for granted. Right. We we live this

  362. life to say no, no, no, no, no, go forgive

  363. no matter what he's Safetyma, it's okay, I can do whatever. You

  364. might not say it by our actions speaks on your words. No, God,

  365. you cannot be so cruel, right, you should always be good to

  366. me, no matter what no matter how horrible I am, you are good

  367. to me. Yes, in a way, yes, by you pleasing him.

  368. Hebrews Child one two says, we are surrounded by a clara witnesses.

  369. Let us look to Jesus as we continue to run this race with endurance.

  370. Taking Jesus example as he endured the cross wall, say so I mentioned we

  371. are people of faith. But at the end of the day, the wonderful

  372. thing about where we are hitting or what we are doing, is we are

  373. following one person, which is Christ. Christ. Jesus is the example.

  374. Remember why he shaid in the beginning, who are we Christian or disciples of

  375. Christ? Disciples of Christ means followed Jesus say you know, follow what he

  376. does. Know No in no other interpretation, Oh, I say enough,

  377. I he lo savior safe. No no, no, no, follow him.

  378. The commandment is observed all that I have taught you. That's why he

  379. told the disciples and his promises I will be with you always. So we

  380. should strive to follow Christ. Amen. Because he endeared the cross, will

  381. say he died on cross for us. That's why he did. So.

  382. Shouldn't we endure as well? Our ones, our needs and everything and say,

  383. Lord, I will follow you, and I will continue to run my

  384. race as a believer as much as I can. And I will follow your

  385. word and not just anybody's word, and not just what I read on the

  386. internet. I will follow you no matter how how he gets. I will

  387. follow you. And a lot of us are persecuted because you are Christian.

  388. Do you know that it's harder and harder to be a believer of Christ because

  389. there's so many things out there even now seeking through the school and the world.

  390. You know, and if you don't do it means you don't love people.

  391. No, No, you should accept everybody. Everybody should friends. Yes,

  392. we love and accept everybody. But there is a way to live that

  393. is we follow Christ. That is the line with to draw. We cannot

  394. just be maybe maybe I don't know. God is good right, so he

  395. won't be angry. Read the Bible, know your word, Know where you

  396. stand. You're We're clear, and where you stand is going to be hard.

  397. Jesus really said, you'll be persecutor for my sake. People will hit

  398. you for me, you know. So who have to choose? We have

  399. to make the choice. Who are we we have people of faith? Second,

  400. Coningtians five seventeen says, for we walk by faith and not by side.

  401. Such a simple statement, such a profound statement. Do we walk by

  402. our bank account? Do we walk by what we see? Different ones?

  403. Here? You are going through a difficult time. Do you just look at

  404. the difficult time? Are you motivated just by what you see? Or are

  405. you motivated by your faith? Are you making decisions by what you see?

  406. And how difficult is? How easy is? Or are you making decisions by

  407. your faith? Are you making decisions about what Christ says? Are you making

  408. decisions by what God says in your life? That that's what the word says?

  409. Right? So question, how is our what we've got today? It's

  410. a good question asked us? How is you? Know? All of you

  411. here you have faith? You know you are people of faith. You know

  412. you wouldn't be here if not, your eyes wouldn't be open to see that.

  413. This makes sense. Church makes sense. People here makes sense. Prayer

  414. makes sense because the spirits open your eyes to see. It is an illogical

  415. thing. But we serve for God, that is God of the impossible.

  416. Amen, so we believe. Amen. Let me give you another encouragement.

  417. Romans eight, verse fourteen seventeen says, for as many are as led by

  418. the spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For you did

  419. not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear. Friends, if you have

  420. fear in this place, it is not the spirit that God has given you,

  421. so you got to reject it. But you have received the spirit of

  422. adoption by whom we cry our Ebba, Father to the Spirit himself, best

  423. witness with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children,

  424. then heirs and heirrors of God, and join heirs with Christ. If indeed

  425. we suffer with Him, then we also be glorified together. What does this

  426. all mean? It means that God wants a relationship with you. It is

  427. not just following a set of rules. It is not just following a set

  428. of conduct. It is not just following Oh the No, there is a

  429. relationship that is involved here. Are you experiencing God in your life? Oh

  430. no, I don't feel God? You got to follow him diligently or not?

  431. Or are there other influences in your life that is blinding you? How

  432. real is God to you? That is the demarcation between a believer. We

  433. are not just a religion. No, it's a relationship. It is a

  434. relationship. God is real. He's not just oh I do this, I

  435. good means I get good things. And no, no, no, no,

  436. no no. It is a day to day It is a He speaks

  437. to your soul and convicts you to do the right thing. That's why Noah

  438. can build the art even though everybody thinks it's crazy. That's why you have

  439. all these people that can act in faith, because it is a relationship.

  440. It's just ruler, very hot. Now do you know it's very hard.

  441. If it's just rule and law, it's very difficult. Why do I say

  442. that all of us here study primary school before, right, how easy it

  443. is to have rule and law had. But if it's a relationship, we

  444. will do it. If your teacher just say, and you've got no relationship,

  445. teacher, just say, please do this. You're not going to follow

  446. on, trust me. But because you've got relationship with your teacher and you

  447. don't want to hurt your teacher, you obey. Makes sense. Not so

  448. it is relationship that helps us because God already said we are his children.

  449. How do you believe that it's faith? It takes very No. Oh,

  450. I'm got a child. It takes a lot of faith to believe that no,

  451. who are we right? And God wants to have a relationship with us

  452. his creation. That's why I say we have people of faith. Can I

  453. share with you two testimonies so for those that don't know, I will just

  454. do it real quick. I am a father of a child with autism,

  455. okay, and of course went through that long time really and then somehow the

  456. lot has led us now to well help different families and start a society be

  457. a little bit more official, right. I can tell you I never wanted

  458. to do this one. Okay, definitely just just let them just do lah,

  459. God say do dol right and and and and this year is the second

  460. year that we're doing our conference. And there's a reason why we're doing a

  461. conference. Since I got a bit of time, I'll share why it is

  462. not easy to connect with parents who may be going through this situation because especialists

  463. in our societies where taboo people don't talk about it. A lot of shame

  464. involved. So I realized it's very difficult for me to just go up to

  465. someone and say, hey, your child, God especial they were, you

  466. know. But when we do training. When we do things like conferences,

  467. people come because I go and learn my my friend's friend ma not mema,

  468. right, so then they come right, so we we So that's why we

  469. decided to go this direction, you know, do podcast conference, do all

  470. these things so that we indirectly help people and hopefully they will grow and progress.

  471. Okay, and so this year we wanted to do something and admittantly,

  472. uh uh, this is not my day job. My guys, I don't

  473. do this full time. You know, I'm allowed to do it, but

  474. it's not my day job. I got other things, see when I got

  475. a lot other things to do. So not easy. And from we wanted

  476. to do it in the conference in April, had to push it to July.

  477. And then when then as there were two things we couldn't confirm, no

  478. main speaker and no venue yet but initially when I use DVCCLA but then we

  479. all know what happened there. But so then we had to find a venue.

  480. Okay, So since February until the end of April, we didn't have

  481. any confirmation of speaker or venue. Of course, course some leads are you

  482. know, not free wanted one person wanted to do and juddy and then different

  483. things. So it was tougher and and I was at this point time again

  484. although I have faithor but I'm not like bullheited, or no, I'm not

  485. like oh I must do no matter what you know. I'm like, no,

  486. like canalla we really Jalan? Really? If nothing nothing LA right?

  487. And I was like, okay, guys, I was telling the team we

  488. met on the the twenty fourth, and we need it because it's in July

  489. at least by May, we need to start announcing LA right. If not,

  490. no point in your dealer right. And I met my team on the

  491. twenty fourth of it and say, hey, guys, I was seriously considering

  492. to postpone or cancer. That was where I'm at. You know, I

  493. do believe that you will help parents and families and all. But again,

  494. if you don't have don't have LA, no speaker of ANYMA not going to

  495. force it. Maybe you can do it next year. Stuff like that.

  496. So I told her, I say, guys, I'm consumeringly to things,

  497. but let's pray, you know, let's pray and see how LA Okay,

  498. see what happens, right, And if we didn't this week nothing, then

  499. we will just postpone cancer, right, and it's gonna be fine. Okay,

  500. don't worrybody. So that night after the meeting, there were one or

  501. two things I had to do actually, like possible potential speaker and I had

  502. to fall out with a venue that pass can have actually held opened the door

  503. by no news for one, no news, but we see how text and

  504. see how next day, next day we got confirmation for both the speaker and

  505. the venue just next day. Friends. It is by God's grace and divine

  506. thing that you happened, because for four many months and nothing and just next

  507. day and we're all very encouraged. Right, God's timing is perfect. And

  508. then let me share this a little bit with you next okay, So yeah,

  509. this is a conference next. So I thought a little bit about speaker.

  510. So she's quite happening. She's the director of EAP and she's she's very

  511. busy person, and she got time to text me and she confirmed right after

  512. I text her, like in the morning. She texted me right and say,

  513. hey, I would love to do it. I was so unsure.

  514. I had to text her twice to say you mean you are going to be

  515. our speaker. I had to make it really clear for me, you no,

  516. not for her, for me, you know. And she said yeah,

  517. yeah, yeah. And the timing is so great because she said,

  518. oh, I was just gonna go on my break and when they go break,

  519. they don't answer phone one and and it was just got timing, So

  520. got open the door for that, okay. And then the venue the venue

  521. was I can see help right, so so so so yeah. So I

  522. send a follow up email to the CEO of Help University. Okay, uh

  523. And guys, just because you know people in high places doesn't mean that they

  524. will lie on you or not. Okay, he's a good guy, but

  525. it doesn't mean that they have time. He replied me immediately, and say,

  526. hey, we're actually thinking about this place. Why don't you go for

  527. a w reki? And and and there's one thing I learned from the lobdy.

  528. When he opened the door, you faster, better do something. They're

  529. like, oh I not free at let me see no, no sorry.

  530. Immediately made an appointment to wreki the following day. Not only that, when

  531. we went there to do the wrecky, the person that was supposed to mean

  532. us not free. Another location that I'm like, how coming earlier on no

  533. choice or and then suddenly the lady there is like near my name, my

  534. name, I let me arrange with you and get one of my technicians to

  535. do and we went and see the place and it was it had a hall.

  536. Well, so so basically we're looking for hall. Thanks, thanks,

  537. we're looking for hall, right, and they had a whole very nice hall.

  538. We're trying to target like one hundred people and three hundred and and then

  539. after that they had places for booths. Okay, so I do this,

  540. you can change the screen and then uh and yeah, and then after that

  541. a place to our booths are going to be here, you know, not

  542. a lot of and then yeah, and then we're looking for a place to

  543. for food, right because we are going to provide food right Uh yeah,

  544. lunch provided and and and they had the cafteria that we could get people to

  545. come and eat here. And then after that they also have classrooms for workshops.

  546. Basically, what I'm just trying to say is that the whole building we

  547. can use, right uh. And it's like the perfect venue. Like when

  548. I said perfect, meaning we already had a lot of plans. We don't

  549. know we're gonna do it, And somehow everything that we needed was in this

  550. place. And it wasn't in a big helt. It was just everything was

  551. connected through just a life. I am in awe that got provided. And

  552. I was like, I was going to cancel the venually what by faith?

  553. Man like SI can pull back on my right. But before pull back got

  554. provided, you know. And I immediately after this reci I texted the CEO

  555. of Help. I have to say see because CEOs very busy and SEO of

  556. Help to say, we love this place, we want it just in case,

  557. all right, And he replied me immediately and said can no problem.

  558. And he arrangedly, friends, what can I favor? You'll get when the

  559. Lord is with you? I'm no anna, i am no honna. I'm

  560. not related to him at all. He answered me immediately. I'm like,

  561. wow, Lord, you are awesome. When we walk by faith and not

  562. by side, God will be there with us. I'll give it another testimony.

  563. So I've been staying in my house now for thirteen years, okay about

  564. thirteen years ready, and my house is not really renovated lies lam and not

  565. renovated, didn't really have the funds to do it. Uh then, and

  566. of course entertained the idea to renovate the house and did some research and all,

  567. but but just didn't come to it because no, manila, Okay,

  568. not need that I got especially, So let's just say they took a lot

  569. of money in the beginning. Okay. Now, so still thank god,

  570. you know things are better, so don't really have to send too many therapy.

  571. But but how you you can't do everything, man, so you have

  572. to pick and choo start what you do right, right, So so I'm

  573. like thinking my renovation head plans, but I so kela whatever bila right,

  574. So I'm like killer, So the dream died la okay? And then this

  575. year I don't know why. Actually I just want to ask the Passa cannot

  576. preacher? Well not yet, right? Did he preach genuinely? Okay?

  577. Long time? Anyway? He there's this message that he preached in PJ called

  578. praise his Power. Please don't listen to it. Then whatever I'm sharing you

  579. today will have a bit of context. Okay, now you might not fully

  580. get it. So Pasta of course went through his own house renovation. Uh

  581. and uh, I think it shed that you stopped for a while and then

  582. no funds so so and then somehow the Lord uh tould him this yay that

  583. he wants to do it, and then got provided okay. And then the

  584. testimony was that God gave pass the n a Nameler the name of a person

  585. that got will provide trueler. Okay. So so what happened was I don't

  586. know, maybe because my pass can of renovating my hearted leader or a renoverything

  587. house, so they also like and can also encourage me, why don't you

  588. consider that. I'm like, okay, but I was non committal. I

  589. was like, maybe I just get the contractor come and see my place,

  590. because I must tell you what happened now. The back of my house is

  591. empty. I'm not using it this one time. It's not a lot like

  592. me, just like I don't know five feet like that. And somehow or

  593. somehow the back of my house right has a very high potential of growing a

  594. small jungle, you know, because no one uses it and and you know,

  595. my neighbor also plants garden. And just just like if I leave it

  596. for five months on starting or jungle, they want to know, right,

  597. and let me tell you how happening jungle is. There was once where we

  598. had a little cobra coming to my house after AMD this happened. That's how

  599. jungle it can become. And in the past one year, I've cleared it

  600. by city and I'm really fed up. So initially the thought was just I

  601. just get someone to come cement everything. Okay, no more nukes and cracks

  602. for any vegetation at all. Then I would be more in peace. Right,

  603. I don't do it again. So invited the contractor come and see,

  604. come and look at the place. And I've asked question now again a non

  605. commit you know, like how much do you many? Maybe if I build

  606. how much? I'm like, I'm like, oh maybe can simple simple just

  607. make one part? See man, maybe build some at top house or something

  608. there and then enough. So non committal so in a way renovate but not

  609. renovate la right, right okay because no moneyma, so no money canno talk

  610. about right? So I just like, okay, you know, and then

  611. pass appreciate message in DJ and then spread. I was very couraged, and

  612. I said, lor Gudna God, if can we prayer? If can I

  613. want that can't testimony? So God give me the name, give me the

  614. name of that person. Can't give me the name where where the eneme is

  615. joking not joking. No name came, guys until today, No nama,

  616. So don't worry those that I here. Okay, your name. There was

  617. no name the cave it all. I was like, okay, no name

  618. means nothing, nothing, okay. But I was staying, say, Lord,

  619. you'll be great if I have a testimony that you provide. Right two

  620. after that message and that prayer, God provided some money funds true, a

  621. family member suddenly one let me tell you how suddenly it was. He was

  622. so sudden and the amount was so sudden that when I went home and told

  623. my wife, she looked at me and she said, well, you're not

  624. happy. One good money there, Like I'm shocked. Of course, I

  625. didn't expect it, but I knew that when it came that these were seed

  626. money for my renovations, I knew, Lord, this is you. It

  627. was something I didn't expect, and I didn't win, like pray every day,

  628. Lord provide. I didn't do that. Now it just came like,

  629. huh, okay, he's getting serious, he's getting serious. I wish I

  630. could tell you it was one hundred percent, but it's twenty percent, which

  631. is good of the possible renovation cause. And the thing about walking in faithor

  632. I walk by faith and not by sight, right, is that this is

  633. again experience, experience, personal experience. God say you walk a bit.

  634. He showed a bit. He won't show everything, you know, that's the

  635. frustrating part. That's why he until now only I can tell you, oh,

  636. Bussus Steven is the best man for xbu. Before that I was also

  637. like, huh sure not no, I cannot be not real one, you

  638. know. Then God shot right, no, really got you work? Then

  639. you work? Then? Right? So God showed me that he can.

  640. So then I'm a little bit more committed now, so I started planning,

  641. you know, go on Pinterest, look a picture, right, but still

  642. committed, not committed because if you don't happen killer a lot. But you

  643. see now I'm sharing if you're godhead again, now he's not mere. I

  644. didn't want this, sir. This God's idea, not my idea. So

  645. God you have to provide that I'm not who lose space. You lose space,

  646. okay, And I don't know, okay, I can just just like

  647. it seemen the thing then done now, but started doing research, started finding

  648. out more right. When God provide, you gotta walk, you gotta be

  649. more confident walking. I'm believing that he will cover the bill. I'm believing

  650. he will, right, Ah, but I'm walking. I'm being a bit

  651. more serious man. You know, I wish you would cover everything. But

  652. also learning from Pasigana testimony is that you want, then God move. You

  653. want, then got moved, and then God will continue to lead because you

  654. walk by faith and not by side. Yeah, I hope my teacha this

  655. I hope. Okay, so just so fen and then yeah, it's just

  656. three different places. Dreaming is free, right, so I can dream,

  657. right. So the pictures look nice. But but but if you're keep that

  658. you look at it, it's like, well, this is going to cost

  659. guys. I don't have money to do it to be exactly like this,

  660. but close enough fla, Okay, maybe who knows. I don't know.

  661. I sort of know what's gonna happen. Let's see what happens. I prayed

  662. it. But I say, oh, guys, you know what, you

  663. know, God provided, but we'll see, Okay, we'll see. But

  664. God provided seed money. John twenty thirty one says, but these are written

  665. that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,

  666. and that believing you may have life in His name. I couldn't end my

  667. message properly in XBA, but I will share this with you. I'm sharing

  668. the testimonies not to tell you, you know what, if you're in a

  669. renovation in your house, the Lord provide. No, it's not about the

  670. renovation. It is not about the event. For all I know, the

  671. revolution not gonna happen. I don't know. I don't know. I simply

  672. don't know. I'm working as the Lord leads. But it's not about that.

  673. It's not that. Oh, you believe in Jesus, then your life

  674. be perfect. No, it's quite scary, do you That is scary.

  675. It's scary for me to think about, like, wow, I have to

  676. peck everything and for those that good renovation, you will know how much work

  677. is needed. But I'm committed readly, so I have to do it.

  678. It's gonna be a scary journey, it's gonna be a crazy journey, but

  679. I know it's gonna be a good journey. I'm sharing this with you so

  680. that you know that God is real and he can work in your life.

  681. For me, is this what is it for you? What is it that

  682. the Lord is asking you to do? And what is it is the thing

  683. that you need to act in faith? I don't know. One day it

  684. might be a renovation. Praise Scott. It is the same. I mean,

  685. pass Kennah. That was his journey. But it's not about renovation.

  686. It's about knowing that God provided for him. Of course he's one next level

  687. crazier. But by me believing and saying wow and telling you that God is

  688. working tells you that He's real and He can come true for you in your

  689. life, in your situation. Enna, don't, don't, don't be misconstrued

  690. with the message. It is not about the money or the renovation. It

  691. is about knowing that. Let me go to the scripture and I end.

  692. But without faith is impossible to please God. For he who comes to God

  693. must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently

  694. seek him. Can I be honest that the renovation it's all God, It's

  695. not me at all, and I have to come to Him for that.

  696. What is it in your life that you need to come to God? For?

  697. You got to believe that He will reward you. It's not just about

  698. the reward. There are many, many, many, many things in my

  699. life. You know, there's just one fresh testimony, prays God. See

  700. that's the other thing about God. He let me tell you the other funny

  701. story about this. You know, when pastor share, I just joke and

  702. say, Lord do it for me or sola, but be very careful and

  703. you ask God to do it for you. Just talking to a young okay

  704. adult you know in PJ. And the young kid is going through some challenges

  705. we work, you know, and say all these this is that that you

  706. know and I need to do this. And then before that we ended up

  707. commody. He also said, yeah, you know, I also you know

  708. two years ready it's been cruising. My job has been cruising, chill.

  709. And I told God I wanted a fresh testimony. And I said, yea,

  710. you're asking you. You got your asphala. Now all the problems are

  711. coming to you. Now, all the problems are coming to you because God

  712. wants to give you a fresh testimony. He's not bad. Problems are guys.

  713. Problems are not all bad or no. But I said I was cruising

  714. and life was chill and comfortable. But I wanted a fresh testimony. Then

  715. problem come on. Now you have to rely on gadlaw. Now you have

  716. to work in faith law. Now you have to operate on But he won't

  717. just be problem. The testimony will come. I told the person, I

  718. said, the testimony will come. You will be encouraged that you know that

  719. your God is real, and then you can testify to encourage someone else.

  720. Then be going through a difficult time and they cannot see. My testimony is

  721. proof to you that God is real. Where do you don't believe or not?

  722. It's up to you, but this is proof. And I prayed as

  723. you listen to this, you will act in faith for your own life and

  724. say, God, I believe. I'm not gonna be unsure left right,

  725. don't know, don't know, don't know. No, I'm sure I will

  726. believe. I'm sure Jesus is the way. I'm following him all the way.

  727. Not half your half there because I don't know. God, you show

  728. me now, then I go. Never like that one. God say you

  729. go first, Then I show you. You go first, Then I show

  730. you no, no, no no, but Hannah, yeah no, one

  731. said it was easy. You go first, you go first. Then I

  732. will show you amen. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For
