  1. You're listening to a message to go from asks church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. All right, here we go. Let's look at some definitions.

  4. Number one, mission, A mission is a word that we

  5. all know. What's your mission when you go there? What's

  6. your mission? What's your mission in life? What's your mission

  7. for doing this? What's your mission for doing that? So

  8. it's simply this, right, what's your cause, what's your aim?

  9. What's your purpose for doing this?

  10. All right? Very important to have a mission.

  11. But in our church and in many other churches that

  12. understand this, there is another word called missions with the

  13. ass at the back. So let's turn to that. Missions

  14. with just as in the back, makes a whole difference.

  15. It's a mission, which we heard earlier, a cause, the aim,

  16. a purpose, a mission that is cross cultural, that is

  17. outside your culture, outside your language group, outside your comfort zone.

  18. Okay, so we use missions.

  19. So we said it's a missions conference means you know

  20. that when you come, you're going to be listening to

  21. something that is beyond your comfort zone, listening to something

  22. that beyond your familiarity. U pastor plan is not only

  23. the former senior pastor of a reservoir Garden Baptist Church.

  24. I love when I say this because ken elk just

  25. reminded me that many years ago he passed ballin and

  26. his group from Reservoir Garden Baptist Church came to a

  27. meeting that I was speaking at, and my message today

  28. was be a river, not a reservoir, and and his

  29. people started to nudging rite faster.

  30. We cannot be Reservoir Garden Baptists anymore. Reservo a place. Okay.

  31. So he came up to me and Sai passor Kenneth,

  32. I really love your message, but you know you were

  33. giving me a hard time with my church members who

  34. now want to change our name from Reservoir Garden Baptist

  35. Church to the River Garden.

  36. Okay.

  37. Anyway, he's not just a former pastor of a Reservoir

  38. Garden Baptist Church, but he's also now just recently become

  39. the chairman of the Baptist Convention of Malaysia. Means he

  40. oversees all the Baptist churches in Malaysia. Sadly, he told me,

  41. because he goes around Malaysia. He told me that during

  42. the pandemic, over twenty Baptist churches closed because people were

  43. not coming, people were not giving their titson offering, so

  44. the pastest salary couldn't be paid and a lot of

  45. stuff that happened. So then he talked with me and said,

  46. you know, past A Kendas, can we work together so

  47. that we can help to stop churches from closing down.

  48. When I went to Sib, Sib has the same problem

  49. in Sarahwah where you know, five hundred and forty pastors

  50. for seven hundred churches, so.

  51. They are lacking one hundred and sixty pastors.

  52. And last year Sib Sarawa just graduated two people from

  53. Bible School two, so we're not sure whether two is

  54. ever going to meet one hundred and sixty need. And

  55. every year less and less young people are signing up

  56. for Bible School and for missions. It's a very scary moment,

  57. especially for Sarawa because Sarawa really still until today is

  58. the bedrock of Christianity for Malaysia because of the health

  59. of Christianity in Malaysia. That's why we can say we

  60. are nine ten percent, because in Somnanjo, Malaysia, we are

  61. less than three percent Christian and the survey has been

  62. out that in the next ten years if you continue

  63. to be what we are, do what we do, pray

  64. like how we pray, which is not enough.

  65. It will be less than one percent Christian in Samananjo.

  66. And so the only one that's holding Malaysia up as

  67. far as Christian stats is Sarawa. And so I feel

  68. called really you know, in the next few years are

  69. to actually invest more into Sarawa. But Sarawa again is

  70. very cross cultural, so soth Ors because it's tribal, maybe.

  71. More of them speak Bahasa.

  72. And so we're talking about making sure that ex church

  73. continues to keep the heart pumping with missions in our lives. Okay,

  74. so missions conference, Passa Parland, Passa Suria. I think she's

  75. not a pastor, but people call her pastor anyway because

  76. she does.

  77. A lot of pastoral work.

  78. So they went to Nepal as missionaries about maybe fifteen

  79. years ago, and they went to start a Bible school.

  80. And in their Bible school they train a lot of pastors.

  81. I think now the pastes they train have gone out

  82. to start fifty over churches already in Nepower. And so

  83. he's known as a pastor of pastors. But many stories

  84. in Nepal. He tells me stories of deliverance. And he says,

  85. there's one particular guy that the disciples who is now.

  86. Called the deliverer of deliverance in.

  87. Nepal only because he's a very small guy, small size, short,

  88. but the devil is quite afraid of his authority. So

  89. there's one particular time he told me in the power,

  90. you know, they've got so many different opportunities for spiritual encounters.

  91. There one particular one I remember he said that a

  92. person came into the church and started walking on the wall.

  93. Uh and uh, so he you know, sometime he joke say,

  94. he pass, have you ever seen.

  95. Spider Man in real life?

  96. And so this guy, because of the evil spirit, he

  97. could jump on walls and stick to it, and then

  98. he jumped to another wall. He jumped to another wall

  99. so people couldn't catch him, and then he would be

  100. disturbing the whole service because you know, the preacher would

  101. be pitching.

  102. And he said a group of Americans.

  103. Uh. And I think he said the eighty percent of

  104. the American missionaries that came for that one week a

  105. well from the American Football Association and American footballer. This

  106. guy's a big size and tall and muscular and all that,

  107. but they were so scared they started to shiver when

  108. they saw spiritual things like that happening.

  109. And then they didn't know what to do.

  110. And then they didn't have they didn't have the authority

  111. or they didn't know their authority. And then in comes

  112. his men, short guy I think probably about four four

  113. nine for ten, right, small sized guy, and he just

  114. pointed at that a person who was on the wall

  115. and he said, come down now, you know, and the

  116. guy fell to the ground right and uh.

  117. And then so the stories are it's amazing.

  118. I just I just love the fact that the best

  119. stories are found emissions.

  120. Are you with me?

  121. The best stories sometimes very sadly, and the most boring

  122. stories are where you are at.

  123. Uh, and I pray it will not be so.

  124. So that's why I have now and then now we

  125. must do missions now and then we must go all right,

  126. see some spider mans here and they're no no problem,

  127. they don't have where no worry are you know, and

  128. neither name of Jesus authority.

  129. No, you can also do it here. You can also

  130. do it here.

  131. And I'll tell you that the missions is not just

  132. only about overseas, it's also at your backyard. Okay, So

  133. reaching out the different than us, that's it. That's missions. Missions,

  134. reaching others different than us outside of our own culture,

  135. outside of our comfort zone. That is the basis of missions.

  136. That's why missions is so important in this church. That's

  137. why we give a whole month for it, because most

  138. of us, in our natural tendency will not ever think

  139. about people outside our comfort zone.

  140. That's just natural. You with me? Uh, and so we

  141. need this now.

  142. However, you know that a health check is important from

  143. time to time, but how many are you like it?

  144. My wife doesn't like it at all.

  145. She when she hear pep smear, she's like, please God,

  146. help me get me the right doctor, female doctor. And

  147. the last time my wife had has pep smear was

  148. something like seven years ago.

  149. Okay, and she actually should be having it a bit

  150. more of But anyway, just general health check.

  151. Go. So my wife doesn't want to go because no needles. No,

  152. who likes leader here? Like, Lord, please give me another needle,

  153. you know a lot. I'm praying for another needle. No, no, no,

  154. we thank God for doctors. We thank God, you know,

  155. for medical professionals who help us get our health check.

  156. I go yearly now I go yearly now because they

  157. say after fifty year you try to go, you know.

  158. So missions is a health check. We don't we.

  159. Feel we don't need it. In fact, we don't want it,

  160. but we need it. We need it. How many are

  161. you like to take medicine? No, but again it's a need.

  162. How many of you like to supplements? Every time I

  163. see a photo of a friend. As we grow older,

  164. the bottles or supplements increase, you know, on our table.

  165. And when we're younger, there's no supplements, and younger no supplements.

  166. But parents have the force us to take vitamin see.

  167. You know.

  168. But when we're younger, we get all these vitamins, you know,

  169. to exercise or whatever it is. And then I saw

  170. one picture of a man that day and I saw

  171. I looked at him, and I saw he was.

  172. Taking at his desk and he's like smiling.

  173. But I saw no at least about seven bottles or

  174. eight bottles of supplements.

  175. How do you think more?

  176. I know, but no one liked to take supplements, but

  177. we take it anyway.

  178. Why we needed And.

  179. Actually the older we grow, even in the faith, the

  180. more we need missions. Because the older we grow, the

  181. more comfortable. We get the more I don't know, maybe

  182. the more reasons that we have to spend our money,

  183. and so missions usually get the last thought. But it

  184. shouldn't be. It shouldn't be. It keeps us really, our

  185. hearts pumping. You ask anybody who has got up for

  186. missions come back. They will say I didn't want to go.

  187. Probably they say I didn't want to go, really, but

  188. when I came back, I was so blessed. Have you

  189. what people say? Do you actually? I thought I went

  190. to bless them, but they bless me. Have you heard

  191. that before? It's true, It's true. That's why even if

  192. you don't go for the health che you don't. I

  193. think that some people don't. They make you take it anyway.

  194. You do missions anyway. Ex Church, you think why it's cheap.

  195. It's not cheap. You saw all those amounts as ow

  196. eight hundred one thousand a year we give to missions.

  197. But you know, it's a beautiful thing because once upon

  198. a time, when I started this church, by the grace

  199. of God, twenty four years ago, we only had three people,

  200. and when we collected the offeringer every Sunday, it was

  201. probably about fifty ringit one hundred ringgit and the mores.

  202. If we are blessed that week. Right now we're talking

  203. about eight hundred thousand wingit that you guys raised, you.

  204. Know, so it's a sign of health.

  205. It's a sign that from one hundred ingit a week,

  206. three people in the church to what we can do

  207. today is a sign of God's blessing. It's a sign

  208. of God's you know, prospering us to be able to

  209. be a blessing. So we are blessed to be a blessing.

  210. Everybody're gay? Yeah, so this is very important. Now, next light, say,

  211. Jesus not only went on a mission, he only had

  212. a cause, aim a purpose, but he also went on missions.

  213. How many of you know that he also left a

  214. very beautiful, comfortable place in heaven.

  215. To come down to us.

  216. Compared to heaven on earth is like a rubbish dumb

  217. many many years ago, you know, we were invited to

  218. go to what you call Smoky Mountain.

  219. Have you heard of that? In Philippines?

  220. Smoky Mountain basically is just a whole area acus and

  221. acres of area for rubbish. So the rubbish truck comes

  222. and they try to burn up the rubbish. But every

  223. time they try to burn up the rubbish, another ten

  224. more trucks come. So is a continuous burning of rubbish.

  225. That's why it's called Smoky Mountains. Mountain of rubbish, all right.

  226. There are pictures of it, you know, you can get

  227. on the internet. And I remember the Lord said to

  228. me one day when I you know, when I was there,

  229. says to me, when I left Heaven to go to earth,

  230. it was like going to smoky mountain, you know, because

  231. our trash in this earth, our unrighteousness, all right, will

  232. just cause the Lord to puke, you know, right, because

  233. he's so righteous, so holy. But he left heaven for us.

  234. Are you willing to leave your heaven for someone else's

  235. woking mountain? Are you all with me? Because if Jesus

  236. didn't come, we have no hope. So will we be

  237. a hope to others? Jesus said in Matthew twenty eight,

  238. verse nineteen, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

  239. baptizing them in the name of the Father and of

  240. the Son and of the Holy Spirit. So Jesus not

  241. only came for a mission. He came for missions, but

  242. he not only did those two things he sends us

  243. to do the same if you believe it, say amen, nations.

  244. Let's talk about nations for a minute.

  245. It means ethnicity, all right, which means people group. So

  246. nations is not just you know uku.

  247. You know.

  248. Nations is not just Australia. A nation is not just

  249. China or America. It's not just countries. It's ethne ethnicity.

  250. People group.

  251. So in Malaysia, there are many nations in your neighborhood,

  252. candal gardens, Onsidium, written Bayou, there are many nations. When

  253. you go and eat lunch, there are nations within that restaurant.

  254. Who's your cooker from Vietnam or this nation?

  255. People group who's serving you are Menma, that's the people group.

  256. Are you also with me?

  257. That's why I keep saying you can do missions also

  258. here where you are in your office, everybody okay, next

  259. one local or international? The slight says near or far.

  260. So get ready to do some local missions, missions that

  261. are near you. And get ready also at least once

  262. a year, if not once in two years, get ready

  263. to do some international missions, all right. And our own

  264. churches are found in ten nations. In the end of August,

  265. we're going to Germany to plant ex Germany and already

  266. a Gird and praise God.

  267. Gert and Doris send a.

  268. Message to Passendra saying we have some money now to

  269. buy some chairs and so show us Southeast chairs and uh.

  270. And Passendra knows that I like to have foldable chairs,

  271. especially in apartment setting because easy to pack away. So

  272. Passer told Gird, you know, buy some a fodable chairs.

  273. So we're talking missions constantly, talking about people groups that

  274. are beyond our language and comfort zone because it keeps

  275. our heart healthy. Otherwise, I tell you what, You've gotta

  276. have spiritual cholesterol. It's going to clock your spiritual heart.

  277. And the only way to avoid spiritual cholesterol that will

  278. clocked your spiritual arteries is to continue to allow the

  279. blood of missions to go through it.

  280. Are you still with me?

  281. It's really really God's way of getting these people out

  282. of the comfort zone and out of spiritual cholesterol. X

  283. one eight says this, But you shall receive power when

  284. the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall

  285. be witnesses to me in Jerusalem. Somebody in Jerusalem that's here,

  286. that's right here where you are, and in all Judea

  287. that's not here, that's outside of here. And this is

  288. for every Christian that you must not only think about

  289. your family only, and your neighborhood only and your office only.

  290. Here you must, and I must, and we must as

  291. a church also consider Judaea outside Jerusalem, outside our comfort

  292. zone Samaria, and to the end of the earth outside

  293. comfort zone. Says the next slide outside outside your color.

  294. The first thing you see in a person ten meters

  295. away is his color. That's why I put it first.

  296. And once you see a color difference, really, if you

  297. have lenses that are prejudiced, you know what you're gonna do.

  298. You're gonna walk away, You're gonna look away, You're gonna say, oh,

  299. you know that color is not my color.

  300. And because not my color, that's not my business. Are

  301. you with me?

  302. The first thing we see, I pray in the name

  303. of Jesus that we will be color blind, because Jesus

  304. is color blind.

  305. And in this church, you know, we don't consider color.

  306. We thank God for the various tribes and people groups

  307. that are here worshiping the dot together, because that's what

  308. heaven do will look like.

  309. Heaven.

  310. I tell you why you think all white people in

  311. heaven all just Asian people.

  312. No, no, no, he he who.

  313. Created variety wants variety to stand before him. But how

  314. will variety stand before him if we don't see with

  315. his eyes outside our culture? You know, I see this

  316. happening all the time. It's very natural. And those who

  317. can speak mending very well sally will gather to them. Oh, Changhai, Changhai,

  318. you know surely also is very naturally Changhai. She speaks

  319. with me English right, pass Kenneth, then afreadually when a

  320. whole grow, Oh, then I see her in an element

  321. and that's fine because that's naturally.

  322. You but you see how we gather, we gravitate. You know.

  323. They say that this reporter came from a Malaysian ambassador.

  324. He wrote it, not me, so don't blame me. He said.

  325. The reason why Malaysia don't do well on the international

  326. scene is because wherever we have embassy, our embassy people

  327. are very tight, needed so tight. They're like, you know,

  328. they're you know, it's this natural. It's like a blow

  329. blow he I know, I miss you, I miss.

  330. Great. Okay.

  331. So when the whole group from the Malaysian embassy go

  332. and visit the French embassy, who called for all the

  333. embassies to come to network hello to network Ah and

  334. come and talk business.

  335. Malaysian tourism, you know is very good. Have you been

  336. to you? You know? Saller Malaysia.

  337. The man wrote it himself. I read it and go like, okay,

  338. thank god he's writing it.

  339. Thank god.

  340. The permanent Uh what do you call it? That permanent representative?

  341. I really respected this guy. Malay guy glasses you know,

  342. I sound you will remember him. Permanent representative. Okay, okay, yeah, okay,

  343. he's giving me a name.

  344. But I don't. I don't. Yeah, Edward's friend see a

  345. look today. He wrote it.

  346. He says that the reason why Malaysia is still so

  347. behind is because when we come to the French embassy

  348. or the Thaire Embassy or the god.

  349. So can I see man? You mean?

  350. I know's how you're very quiet because you're thinking I'm

  351. talking about a certain race. No, it can be anyone

  352. Malaysian run. You just got to get grafvity. Where was

  353. at Singapore Embassy? Pulosity Know that the Singapore Embassy guys Germany,

  354. Germany higher Germany. You want to do business, you know, Susan, Susan,

  355. I want to do business. This one is it? I

  356. find them in some corner of the of the building,

  357. you know, in the kitchen.

  358. H O, get the part, chuck it. There are you

  359. with me?

  360. And don't live so loud because Christians will do that. Hallelujah,

  361. Praise the Lord, praise a lot.

  362. No this fell us.

  363. I know, going to a christliss eternity, but they're not

  364. one of us.

  365. We pit l pt L, pit l baby PTL, Praise

  366. the Lord.

  367. We forgot the lingo of talking to your family, forgot

  368. the lingo of beaking speaking to non Christian.

  369. Colleagues with me culture. But yes, it's true.

  370. We gravitate Communist gravity and Chinese comuny gravity do no Indians?

  371. Sorry, our office a very funny one.

  372. But I see Alex Martina and Aaron go together lunch

  373. every day. I said, I do not allow m I

  374. c k E Y M or U s E. You

  375. know there no no possibleson no, no, no, I'll go

  376. with you.

  377. I'll go you know. No, I don't keep with them.

  378. I'm lookey with them. But you know, I say, how.

  379. Come every year every day I might see Hey, so

  380. PERSI you're very bored, like, yeah, you know my own

  381. staff man. You yes, because you want to eat with hand.

  382. You want to eat banana leaf and the banana leaf together.

  383. You know the Chinese. Chinese don't even know how the foard.

  384. Probably I don't keep pulling out of it. Ah, you say, no,

  385. we eat our own because we know our culture. Yes day,

  386. I was at the wedding uh Malay wedding, all beautiful

  387. Malay wedding this lady when she was sixteen. She said,

  388. I save her life because she cut her her leg

  389. on a very sharp glass. So her sister was crying

  390. out because she was bleeding out.

  391. And then she's not on on on my door.

  392. I'm in her neighbor in I'mangaya and she says, Kenny, Kenny,

  393. he hell, my sister dying. Not dying here, I know,

  394. but bleeding. So I came out and I helped her.

  395. I picked her up. I said, I said, I said

  396. that because when I shook her husband's head yesterday, I said, Hi,

  397. I'm you know, your wife's neighbor. I didn't say I say,

  398. I would never say that.

  399. She said it. She said it.

  400. So I said, I'm your wife's neighbor. And he looked

  401. down on you. Yeah, I heard of you before. So

  402. then my wife was a sort she said, I said,

  403. you don't know what she told him, you know. Yeah,

  404. so anyway she said, she said, I saved her life

  405. and then you know, don't know how many teachers. So

  406. now she's fifty years old. Her daughter got married yes

  407. day and got married to a British guy. Uh So,

  408. you know, I thought, I said, wow, this is you know,

  409. are you going to be comfortable to compact? Was hitting,

  410. you know, and I was very hungry, you know, but

  411. on this particular table is this round you know, that

  412. particular container that contains about six different dishes. Yeah, and

  413. you know I I I told Basender when I was

  414. driving back, I ate more in Penang than I ate

  415. it is wedding, you know. But culturally Chinese that will

  416. feed you nine different dishes right before you say good night.

  417. Yeah, so you.

  418. Were start going right, you start comparing, and then the

  419. Lord may have to say hello, hold on, hey, don't

  420. be caught up with the food or the lack of it,

  421. be caught up with the people that I died for,

  422. you know, so we were very quick to complain, make

  423. it quick to compare. You know, I like Indian readies

  424. because to say seven days, wow, can you imagine that

  425. he is seven days of brother.

  426. I don't know. In my car, there's a there's a

  427. there's an accountant.

  428. When when we were driving to Pinang for our self retreat,

  429. in my card they put a Uva. Uva is still

  430. an unbeliever, but she works for us as accountant.

  431. Yeah.

  432. And when I was playing Christian music, she was like,

  433. she was like melting somewhere. I was playing Christian music,

  434. bahasaan Sidney idea. I was really enjoying, you know, crownassly.

  435. I thought, you know, everyone should be worshiping. But you'va

  436. was like that going down. Hands were growing up, she

  437. was going down. So so you know what I did?

  438. I became a missionary. How I played at Shuran.

  439. At Chiran? What's so?

  440. How do you think a picture of the perfect one?

  441. Come on, no Christians?

  442. A picture? You know how.

  443. Somebody the photograph for picture of perfect or somebod No, okay,

  444. never mind. I played at sheeran song all right, I

  445. kid you not. I look at my back mirror her

  446. you firs started to become alive. She was shrinking like

  447. a flower that was all watered for a few days.

  448. The French call it lie you no, no, lie.

  449. You lie, you lie. You. I look in my mirror,

  450. I thought myself.

  451. The car is full of Christians and one none, and yeah,

  452. I'm feeling comfortable with my music, and everybody else would

  453. be worshiping. But hey, her salvation, her soul. So at Shearing,

  454. came on at Shearing, she came up, She came up,

  455. and then she coming live. You know, she turned around

  456. to JJ jj is Julena Jong, turn around, Juna, this

  457. is my jam for those of you who don't understand.

  458. This my jam, this my song, this is my jams.

  459. She came alive. Then she went on. She said that

  460. this is what I want to do for my wedding.

  461. She's already thinking about her wedding. And then j said,

  462. you go buy your idea. Uh not yet, but confess

  463. wedding for that, and she came alive. She keep alive.

  464. And I went on to play excellance songs. Seven songs.

  465. Seven songs. It's only eight Okay, I don't even know

  466. why he's in my playlist.

  467. It should just be don't moan, right, That is good

  468. all the time?

  469. Yeah, you first, God is good all the time. You know,

  470. she's thinking about another god. Are you all saying with

  471. me sometimes just awareness, just say wake up for a

  472. while and know it's all just always about you.

  473. So she's like my jam. Then the second song came

  474. on her jem OsO. What's this? Lady likes a love

  475. of Jemma. Third song for song.

  476. Then I said, you are wow, you got so many

  477. songs you want to play for your weddinger. I said,

  478. but you one wedding, Say yeah, my bus the seventies

  479. one song for a Day came alive, came alive, came alive.

  480. But you know who'starting to wilt? Elder Terrence?

  481. Do you understand not? You need to understand, You need

  482. to un say what's going on?

  483. At uranis Assurani is worship leading in my car? Worship

  484. leading in my car as seran, You've a who needs

  485. Jesus coming alive. And we are having a conversation and

  486. Elder is very quiet, Eld Terrence, and I had to

  487. make conversation that is that is you okay?

  488. Yes? I am, yes, I am just that.

  489. I've never heard secular music since the eighties, yeah, because

  490. some people, to.

  491. Them, it's very convicting.

  492. One Now it's like I will never hear another secular

  493. music because my ears have been dedicated to the Lord

  494. and I will only listen to spiritual music.

  495. Blame them.

  496. Some people have conviction, so I wasn't out there to

  497. also blame and put Elder Terrence down. But I can

  498. see one person coming alive in one personal thing. I'm

  499. just going to ask extra Priest, learn to start getting

  500. comfortable with the things that make your friends and family

  501. members who are not Christian comfortable, because if you can't

  502. even bridge that gap, you won't reach them. It's always

  503. going to be you can't even play one excherance song.

  504. I mean, your salvation will go down the drain. You

  505. lose your salvation because you just hurt. You just hurt,

  506. adele someone like you. Yeah, there's someone like you, Jesus

  507. Ah Priest God, Amen, are you? Are you quiet because

  508. you're thinking? Are you quiet because you're thinking about what

  509. I'm saying.

  510. It's very important, very very important. Christians.

  511. You must be all around, a bit, all around the sea,

  512. all round there I was. I once was flat, but

  513. now I'm found. I was flat, but now I'm round. Okay, Amen, Amen,

  514. A size for everybody. Yeah, my father used to tell

  515. Sudirman Simon, said Mike Bernie, I'm so short, I'm so ugly,

  516. you know, I can only sing, And they say, hey,

  517. my father told Udaimon souday man, you are the best size,

  518. you're the best look. You don't look so handsome, So

  519. all the men are not jealous of you when they

  520. bring their wife and say, as what you want. The

  521. kids love you because you're their size, and the women

  522. love you because you're so good at your creativity. You

  523. are for the whole family. Can exchange before the whole family,

  524. Come on the whole Malaysia. Outside your creed or your

  525. belief system, outside your convenience, missions is gonna give you

  526. four eyes. Not talking about people with glasses, but four eyes.

  527. Number one mission is investment. It is an investment. Christianity

  528. is very easy except for two words, give and go.

  529. If you take away give and go from Christianity, it's

  530. like any other religion.

  531. Go is so hard to know to do. Go is

  532. get out of your comport zone.

  533. Go, Go speak to that person, Smile at that waiter,

  534. you know, say hello to the teximan or the grab driver.

  535. Maybe he's the You're the only Christian he's ever going

  536. to meet. If you are the only Cristian he's ever

  537. going to meet? And how is he ever going to

  538. hear the gospel? Now, maybe you don't so quickly share

  539. the gospel because you are so you're a bit nervous,

  540. but at least say hello, start a conversation. I started

  541. a composition with a grat driver one time during the pandemic,

  542. and he said, I can't wait to go back to

  543. the mosque. He said, but the most only allows fifty people,

  544. and I and time I come, I'm the fifty second

  545. or fifty.

  546. But I'm going to line up again earlier next week.

  547. I like his faith.

  548. You know, well's Christians are forget about lining you line up?

  549. I said, you don't have rs VP as VP. See,

  550. we just come and hope for the best. I said,

  551. we got VP. He said, we just want to go

  552. back to the mass. He said, you know how long

  553. some Christians took to go back to church. And then

  554. we want to appreach to them when they are more

  555. pressure about their God. And then you see Christians not

  556. pressure to go back to church, no pressure to pray,

  557. no pasture right, not lining up right, they're gonta God?

  558. Get secondary? And am I God?

  559. Because I line up for my God?

  560. So I said, sir, I'm like you.

  561. The first Sunday the government allowed Exchurch to start. I there,

  562. I started, Oh you put ula citing goodness. You know,

  563. I hear a lot of people that use my grab.

  564. They are Christian. They still haven't gone back to church.

  565. Their church is still not open. I say, no, no, no,

  566. I don't know who they are.

  567. But remember the name ex Church. I told him because the.

  568. Very first Sunday, and we also couldn't hand not to

  569. come back because we serve a great God.

  570. I told him why this composition was going on in GRAB.

  571. He's got so very great but he always misses because

  572. he's the fifty first person there. He is next Friday.

  573. I'm going to be there early because of his great God.

  574. But my God is greater. So I said, I was there. Really,

  575. I was the first one there. You're with me. I

  576. sometimes think we need to earn the right to speak

  577. to people. We are scared. They are not because they

  578. say that God can protect them. It's an investment. Number

  579. two is inconvenient, of course it is. It is if

  580. it is convenient everyone everyone in this room that if

  581. I ask you this year twenty two three, how many

  582. of you have gone outside and go for missions. I

  583. don't know how many hands will go up. It's inconvenient.

  584. It's an investment. Sometimes takes a three thousand rings to

  585. go to a check. My whatt The flight it is

  586. I'm telling you right now, is good for your heart.

  587. It's good for your family. It's good for your marriage.

  588. It's good for your children because your children will see

  589. and go like Dad, I'm going to continue this legacy

  590. when I'm older.

  591. You don't just.

  592. Tell them, You show them. This is the way. Take

  593. them with you. Sit on the two, you know, let

  594. the check my air hit your face, all right, Let

  595. the becausie heir hit your fail because he hit your

  596. fair one. That your brailler because I tell you the

  597. terrible But it's okay, it's okay. Wear a mask, protect

  598. yourself whatever you ask God for protection. But I tell

  599. you sometimes you need air that is beyond your home,

  600. and so of these oxygen in different places is uncomfortable.

  601. It's oxygen that you really need to keep your heart pumping,

  602. to keep your family loving Jesus. It's insurance, That's what

  603. I mean. It's really insurance. You buy insurance and you

  604. hope that you don't really have to use it, but.

  605. Just in case.

  606. Some missions is really an insurance for your heart. There

  607. is nothing else I've seen in the Bible that is stronger.

  608. That's why Jesus himself did it. Jesus himself did missions,

  609. and he asked Paul to do it. Paul asked Timothy

  610. to do it. And through the years, right, it's fall

  611. me as I follow Christ because it really does help

  612. our hearts stay healthy and internal internal. Why do I

  613. say you think missions that is about external? Miss Go

  614. out there, go to check my go to Bakassi, go

  615. to London, go to No, it's.

  616. Not just external. Do you know those of you have

  617. been divisious before.

  618. Do you know that there are more internal issues that

  619. are going on when you're out there.

  620. When we were invited that to the.

  621. Leprosy colony in Indonesia, Okay, they don't have their fingers,

  622. they don't have.

  623. You know, their toes. Leprosy.

  624. They say leprosy is contagious at a certain stage. A

  625. lot of people don't understand this. Only a certain stage

  626. is contagious. After a certain time it's not. And so

  627. we are supposed to go to a village that is

  628. not contagious anymore. But the people all look different. So

  629. we went and we prayed like crazy. Lord, Please, they said,

  630. it's not contagious anymore. Please make sure that's the truth. Lord,

  631. help us protect us because we want to show these

  632. people that you love them. You knows, sometimes the best

  633. way to show people that you love them is to

  634. show up, not just to talk, is to show up

  635. and to actually reach out your hand to a left

  636. prince person three fingers gone and say Jesus loves you,

  637. and they know you mean it because nobody else is

  638. visiting them. I know some of our mission teams that

  639. when I won't mention from which country, refuse to go

  640. because they just can't believe that God can protect them

  641. from this.

  642. Now, did I judge them? And I said no. I said,

  643. maybe you're from faith to faith. Let's grow up. Okay,

  644. let's grow up.

  645. Let's all agree to grow up and develop our faith,

  646. make it stronger in the Lord. But these people also,

  647. Jesus died for loves everybody.

  648. Okay.

  649. Internal, there are a lot more internal questions that you

  650. will overcome than external. You gotta say, oh, I didn't

  651. do very much the pasta. I only painted the church.

  652. But you know what's happening inside a lot more happening inside.

  653. Missions is internal more than external Genesis eleven four, one

  654. and four. Now the whole earth had one language and

  655. one speech, and they said, come, let us build ourselves

  656. a city and a tower whose top is in the heavens.

  657. Let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be

  658. scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth. So

  659. you know where this story comes from. Comes from the

  660. story of Babel, the Tower of Babel. See what the

  661. people are saying, and until today people are still saying it.

  662. We want to stay put, can.

  663. Not pastor why you keep talking about evangelism and missions.

  664. We want to say put. We want to be comfortable,

  665. can and not leave us alone. We work so hard already, Okay,

  666. leave us the lord. We still want to build a

  667. nice house, build nice furniture. We wanted to rest there,

  668. put our leg up, you know, with our pinacolada by

  669. the beach. I don't know, Okay, you just want okay, fine, understand. Yeah,

  670. everybody can dream. But I'm gonna tell you right now,

  671. if you live only for that, your heart will die.

  672. But d see, we don't want to be scattered. Please

  673. don't move us out anymore we want to stay put

  674. kettle Nord.

  675. Well, this is what God said.

  676. So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the

  677. face of all the earth, and they cease building the city,

  678. they cease building their comfort zona. Basically, therefore his name

  679. is called Bebel or Babel, because there the Lord confused

  680. the language of all the earth, and from there the

  681. Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

  682. If you want to scatter anyone, if you want to

  683. disunite any family, any church, any company, you you you

  684. cause their language to be different.

  685. You see this in family, husband and wife talking differently. Language.

  686. The enemy always attacts language, and God sometimes allows it

  687. if he really wants to disunite something. Language is always

  688. number one. Language is a uniting factor, or this uniting factor.

  689. And when husband and wife talk differently, and children will

  690. go into a mess. When boss and management talk differently

  691. the company, you can say bye goodbye. When the leadership

  692. of our country starts talking with a different language to

  693. each other. God MC wants talk this with m im.

  694. I see what talk this way to you? You know

  695. when what we when we have one language, the country,

  696. the company, the church, and the family will be strong.

  697. Father. Mother.

  698. Always must have the same language, talk the same language,

  699. and your children will grow up well. So God divises

  700. the language and devised the people, scatters them, because that

  701. is God's plan all the while. It's not to keep

  702. us in a comfort zone, but to scatter us. Now,

  703. some people say, pass, you shouldn't use that word. There's

  704. a curse word. No, it's not. I'll show you in

  705. the Book of Acts that God allowed the people to

  706. be scattered.

  707. And wherever they're scattered, they preach the gospel.

  708. So scattering is God's plan, especially when we choose to

  709. live too comfortable a life. Everywhe okay, all right, here

  710. we go. Genesis trial won the tree. Right after he's

  711. scattered them, he immediately found a man who he could

  712. use to bring them all back.

  713. So he said, Abram, get out of your country. Heart.

  714. Tell you what, if you haven't caught it yet, please

  715. catch it. No, every answer that God has for the

  716. earth is go, get out.

  717. Move, do something with your life.

  718. So God may have done the scattering, and the whole

  719. earth is now divided.

  720. But God is about.

  721. To move in a mighty mission, and he starts with

  722. a man of faith called Abram, which he changed the

  723. name later to Abraham.

  724. Get out.

  725. I will make you a great nation, people group, I

  726. will bless you and make your name great. There's a

  727. reason for that, and you shall be a blessing. So

  728. we always say these admissions that we are blessed to

  729. be a blessing.

  730. You got that bonus.

  731. Why if you are following scripture, you understand it's not

  732. only for the new pair of shoes, not only for

  733. the new car, not only for the new house, not

  734. only for new new holiday. Take those things if you

  735. have to, and live life, enjoy it, but always make

  736. sure there's room to be a blessing, because if you

  737. spend everything on yourself, you know you're going to die

  738. a very very very sad spiritual death.

  739. I'm not even talking about physical death.

  740. You know, after a while your heart will grow call

  741. because where your treasure is there, your heart will be also.

  742. So Abraham, I'm gonna bless you so much so that

  743. you'll be a blessing. And it says in you all

  744. the families of the earth be blessed. So God's intention

  745. was all the families of the earth will be blessed. Hey, hello,

  746. he just scattered demro Oh, God doesn't love you. I

  747. know he totally divided my church, right, but maybe you

  748. should ask a question, has my church been doing missions?

  749. Because he doesn't have a reason to scatter the church

  750. if the church was doing missions.

  751. Sometimes he doesn't.

  752. He doesn't want us to be so comfortable that we

  753. forget what it is really all about. So he blesses

  754. us to be a blessing. All right, drawing towards the

  755. last lap. Now, so from then on, from from from

  756. the word he gave to Abram or Abraham, the people

  757. of God, the next light says, was always on the move.

  758. From Genesis twelve one to three, the people of God

  759. was always on the move. Let me tell you why

  760. Genesis child verse three is very close to my heart.

  761. It is because the Bible says, and true you, all

  762. the families of the earth shall be blessed. And before

  763. I started a ya, the Lord just added two letters after.

  764. The word you, and it was t H. And he

  765. said to me, Kenneth, this.

  766. Will be your call, true youth, all the families of

  767. the earth will be blessed.

  768. And that's why I to do.

  769. I'm very passionate by young people because I believe that young.

  770. People, you know, have less baggage.

  771. Less hurts in terms of like you know how sometimes

  772. church hurts each each other and leaders each other.

  773. Young people are more innocent.

  774. I didn't say that thoughtally innocent, but they're more innocent,

  775. and they're more.

  776. Willing and ready use me. Lord.

  777. Well, sometimes the older we get, the more burdened you know,

  778. of hurt and offense. And I won't work with this guy,

  779. and I won't won't work with that guy, and I

  780. won't won't work with that church, and I won't work

  781. with that denomination.

  782. So God, sometimes after a while, you won't work, so

  783. he won't work you.

  784. But young people, God saying, come on, you know, keep

  785. your heart pure right, call you love me and true youth.

  786. All the families of the earths we blessed. So that

  787. was personally my word.

  788. I know the Bible tells us not to add to

  789. what's work, so I'm very careful about that. I don't

  790. I didn't write down on my Bible. No, it remains

  791. its you. Okay, it's a blessing and a promise to Abraham.

  792. But in my spirit I caught the word t H

  793. the letters T, and I said, Lord, I know you're

  794. calling me to youth and that's wanted today we still

  795. do it. We love young people very very much because

  796. we know that they are God's plan, They are God's purpose,

  797. they are God's strategy to reach the world. All right,

  798. and read the adults support them. Caw caaw Sorry, that's

  799. not that's not English. But wholdheartedly, you know, full full,

  800. full steam ahead, all right? Next one axe is not

  801. just a church, where a movement. I want you to

  802. remember that. You say, I just keep to a church.

  803. I just want to be comfortable. I just want to

  804. worship of Fus, dance a little bit, give my ties

  805. an offering if I have any uh, take communion, go home,

  806. have my Sunday rass work starts on Monday. We're not

  807. just a church. We are church, but not just a church.

  808. We are a movement. And the operative word in the

  809. word movement is moved. That's why when you catch it,

  810. you catch it. Though. That's why I don't hear any

  811. complaints of those of you who multiply your homes, because

  812. you already knew that's my DNA. I keep moving. It's

  813. my DNA. It's fish in water, not walking on land.

  814. Love to just try to you know a lot, to

  815. just try to be a fish that walks on land.

  816. We must we must continue in the water. And and

  817. this is water. I want to tell you we are

  818. a movement. We keep moving. That's why Abraham moved. Do

  819. you know that Joseph was also moved out of his family.

  820. His brother's helped him. Hello, there's a pit. You want

  821. assume he's just do the swimm pool for your gun.

  822. There was the.

  823. Youngest, second youngest in you go not enough selling him

  824. as a slave. But all that, you know what Joseph said,

  825. what you plan, you meant for evil, God meant for good.

  826. He imagine being sent out, send out of your family

  827. of the favor.

  828. He has so much favor all.

  829. And they tore it and put animal blood on it

  830. to say that he was torn by animal out there.

  831. And his father was so distraught. But he said, God's.

  832. Plan, he was always there, and so thank you for

  833. putting me in a pit, and thank you for selling

  834. me as a slave, because I'm able to do God's

  835. will and save all the people of his His perspective

  836. missions is perspect if Moses also same thing out of

  837. his family into the Egyptian palace, raised as a prince,

  838. but never satisfied. Say some of you here when you

  839. come to church in your heart, you know it.

  840. This is not it.

  841. Coming to church every Sunday is not just. It is good,

  842. but it cannot be everything. It's gotta be people. It's

  843. gonna be lives. It's gotta be people different than me.

  844. Where's my money going to? Where am I investing? Where

  845. am I going next? With my hobies? You know, my

  846. hobies are told me they want to go check my Yeah,

  847. and one of the inspirations is shopping. I know you're laughing,

  848. but it's okay because I thought myself, if I can

  849. get into missions and do some shopping, why not, Kamela.

  850. Let's go on five days of checking my three.

  851. Days mission today shoping Holleliah, praise God from from faith

  852. to faith. And the next time we go to check

  853. my you be all days.

  854. It's just one day shopping, no problem. Want, I don't worry.

  855. Okay, shopping is off from the devil. Okay, don't worry.

  856. You can all a puzzle. Don't do don't give that okay.

  857. And even when you show, you show for your family

  858. and friends, right, yeah, not for yourself. Moses and Daniel

  859. Daniel at a young age, was taken out of his

  860. comfort zone, and yet he became the governor of a

  861. foreign land. You want to see new Testament, there was

  862. old Testament. New Testament is Jesus did the same thing.

  863. Philip did the same thing.

  864. You know what? He says, a.

  865. Philip, Philip, but was one of the evangelists, one of

  866. the you know seven and and and Philip was sent

  867. up and then he was sent out to to to

  868. uh Judea set up to Samaria. And you know what

  869. the famous study is he's running after the chariot.

  870. This called supernatural power.

  871. If you want to have superatural power being of emissions

  872. and see yourselves running after Tesla and overtaking it. What

  873. the Terran is writing her and this guy can run

  874. and not only runner side by sider, he can talk.

  875. So what is that you're reading?

  876. Ah? I be petty, say you know, stop please? You

  877. know I want to die idea, I need stop. You

  878. only stopped after he asked a question, what are you're reading?

  879. I'm reading Isaiah?

  880. Do you know what you're reading? I don't know. Why

  881. do you come up and tell me Ethiopian? The first Ethiopian.

  882. If you're been a dark color.

  883. Color, culture comes up, explains Jesus, so my soul, so

  884. convincing her that the Ethiopian leader.

  885. Says, hey, what can I be baptized?

  886. Now? I know a young person in this church asks me,

  887. when can I be baptist baptized? I said, immediately after

  888. you receive Christ. He said, but people are telling me otherwise.

  889. I said, come look at the scripture. Okay, don't don't

  890. don't worry about what other people that you look at

  891. the Word of God.

  892. Right.

  893. And then after he did that, Philip flew flu because

  894. the Bible says he was taking up.

  895. You started flying.

  896. You want to fly, go for missions, not just fly, know,

  897. fly in your spirit. Fly So like an eagle a man, Peter,

  898. I don't want know. I don't want know, Peter, Peter.

  899. What happened?

  900. Peter was praying and a nice white sheet of cloth

  901. comes down, and in it was KFC McDonald's. It came

  902. down and he says, Peter, rise, kill and eat.

  903. You know.

  904. God knows how heart, you know, he knows how prejudices,

  905. he knows how comfort.

  906. No, Lord, I've never I've never worn proud of it.

  907. I've never since I was young, I've never eaten anything unclean,

  908. and God says, what I make clean, don't say I'm clean,

  909. and preparing his heart for the encounter with Cornelius. Let's

  910. look at some scriptures here, all right? It was the

  911. next one. I'm going to closer. Then he said to them,

  912. you know how unlawful. That's what Peter said. He saw Cornelius,

  913. and the first few words out of his mouth was,

  914. you know how unlawful it is for a Jewish Man

  915. to keep company with or go to one another nation.

  916. You know how unlawful it is for me to fellowship

  917. with our bit. I know how you look down on

  918. like they were the trash of the world. Hello, they

  919. also need salvation, So I stop writing on the road

  920. like that. You know, then maybe I forgive them now.

  921. So I don't know. Maybe you at your name, You're

  922. at your name, Jewish men, you Indian men, Chinese men,

  923. Punjabi men. But God has shown me that I should

  924. call any man common or unclean. Somebody say a good amen,

  925. oh hallelujah. Next one, as we draw to the last lap.

  926. The first thing the Holy Spirit restored was our language.

  927. So I told you right.

  928. The first thing that destroys the babel The first thing

  929. that destroys your family, destroys your company, destroys your nation

  930. is the way you talk. And the Lord sends his

  931. Holy Spirit in Acts chapter two. That's a mighty sound

  932. from heaven. And the first evident thing the Holy Spirit

  933. changes is our language. Because even God knows that language

  934. unites and language divides. So I'm going to restore before

  935. I restore the whole earth back to Jesus, I'm going

  936. to restore language.

  937. And the language wasn't for you.

  938. It wasn't something I can speak menry oh Changwai or

  939. speak basta. No, the language and they spoke was for others.

  940. Let's look at the next.

  941. Slide.

  942. And there were dwelling in Jerusalem, Jews, devout men from

  943. every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the

  944. multitude came together and were confused. Why were they confused?

  945. Not because they didn't understand, but they were confused. Why

  946. are people who shouldn't be speaking their language were speaking it?

  947. Everyone heard them speak in his own language.

  948. Then they were all amazed and marvels, saying to one another,

  949. look are not all these who speak Galilians? And how

  950. is it that we hear each in our own language

  951. in which we were born. God was about to restore

  952. the whole earth back to himself. Then before he could

  953. restore the whole earth, he has to restore the language.

  954. But the language was not for them themselves. The language given,

  955. the new language given to their apostles and to the

  956. one hundred and twenty waiting the upper room, was a

  957. language for the world, the language for the unreach, the

  958. language for people that hasn't yet received Christ. This language

  959. is not just for the betterment of our own family.

  960. This language is for the betterment of the people that

  961. do not yet know Christ. Can I hear a good amen?

  962. What language would God give you today? And will it

  963. just be for yourself or wily be for others? And

  964. when we still didn't get it, I hope all of

  965. you got it. But if we still haven't got it,

  966. I mean I'm preaching, Untila. I'm sretting now, you know,

  967. even though it's so called, because because I feel like

  968. God's God's in this house and he wants to speak

  969. to us.

  970. So I'm giving you my heart this morning. If we

  971. still don't get it, what happens.

  972. Next slide at that time, Acts Chapter eight, verse one.

  973. At that time a great persecution arose against the Church

  974. which was at Jerusalem.

  975. That was the problem. They were still in Jerusalem. That

  976. was the problem.

  977. The Church was still so comfortable in Jerusalem. A chapters

  978. of Acts has already gone by. A seven chapters at

  979. least has gone by. And the very first verse of

  980. chapter eight, God had enough, and God is saying.

  981. Enough.

  982. And God scattered them throughout the regions of Judea. That's

  983. exactly where where God wanted them to be. Judea and Siberia.

  984. Accept the apostles. Therefore, those who were scattered when everywhere,

  985. come on preaching the word, preaching the word. And that's

  986. how Habergouk two fourteen will happen. That's how Habercook two

  987. fourteen will happen. And the earth will be filled with

  988. the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the

  989. waters come.

  990. And see how will this happen?

  991. This will happen when ex Church understands what it means

  992. to go, what it means to give, what it means

  993. to keep your heart healthy with the blood of missions.

  994. Go make it a point. Take your whole family, take

  995. your whole homes. Take go with your friends, go with

  996. your age group. Go see how past I don't have

  997. the money, pray because if it's God's will, it will

  998. be God's bill.

  999. God will provide.

1000. Shout out, thank you Lord.

1001. Lord. Let it begin today.

1002. When we go for lunch, that when we see a

1003. waiter from another nation, that we will remember, just even

1004. for thirty seconds, remember what our calling is, what the

1005. heartbeat of God is. Help us, Lord and Lord, give

1006. us a chance to go outside, maybe to the or

1007. on us lee, maybe to a different language group Mahasa speaking,

1008. Mandarin speaking maybe, or maybe let's take a trip. If

1009. this year is too soon, then twenty twenty five. I

1010. want to go with my wife and my husband, with

1011. my family. I want to go together.

  1012. Let's go.

1013. Let's catch the heart of God. Let's keep our hearts

  1014. pumping with missionary blood.

1015. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
