You're listening to a message to go from axt church. We hope this message

will light up your tea today because it's family Sunday. I prepare a little

something for the young people as well, for the children especially, so they

are gonna participate, all right, Parents, listen, your children are gonna

participate in listening to the word. How awesome is that? All right?

So for the we're gonna have our ex kiss teachers helping to distribute some activity

papers. All right. So for the juniors here, they'll be so juniors

here, the children, you'll be receiving a coloring activity hey, related to

today's message. So maybe I can get the teachers to go around if you

can identify the children. Appreciate that our teachers, our teachers here are awesome.

They'll be able to identify who are the juniors are the seniors? Uh

so yeah, coloring activity for the juniors related to today's message. And for

the senior children we've got not taking So we've printed this as well. We're

gonna have our teachers pass it out. And don't worry. For the parents

here and for the children here, I will guide you guys, Okay,

to tell you guys what to write. Okay, And for the adults here,

do give a little bit of patience if I speak a little slower so

that our children do will be blessed. Amen. We want our children to

be able to receive from the Word today as well. So there'll be some

part So I'll go slower, I'll repeat so that the children have time to

take down the notes. So parents, go ahead and also allow your children

to participate. We've got some coloring pencils at the back as well if you

need for your children. It's gonna be good. It's gonna be good.

Are you guys ready for the word? Yeah? All right, okay,

So just a recap. We are currently on a series called Into the Promised

Land. Now a few weeks ago, two weeks ago, I preach on

part one. All right, and do you guys of you here remember what

part one is about. Man, I didn't do a good job. Part

one is ah close what you see seeing right? That was part one?

All right? Are you seeing right? And we spoke about just a very

quick recap. We spoke about how you know. The first point was this,

what we permit ourselves to see will shape our perception. So we drew

descripture from numbers fourteen. Right, we talked about how you know when the

ten spies went to spy the land, they came back, they saw different

things. It's spies saw giants and fortified cities that they cannot overcome, while

do other spies by the name of Joshua and Caleb came back and saying,

no, we can overtake this land. We shall go immediately. They saw

what the Lord want them to see, while the other eight saw what the

enemy wanted them to see. So it's important for us to be able to

see right because when we see right, we will be able to walk right.

Right. When we see right, we will be able to allow God

to shape our perceptions in a way where we can see things through the lenses

of God's eyes. It's so important to live our life this way because if

we don't see right, we won't be able to walk and leave by faith.

We will be constantly bombarded, bombarded by things of this world. What

the world is trying to tell us if you're not careful, if you're not

receiving from God, we are definitely one hundred percent guaranteed receiving from the world.

And I share this example right. When we go out, we are

immediately bombarded by marketing. You see commercials, advertisements everywhere, right, and

many of these are actually I may sound like a dinosaur saying this, but

it's true. Just reflect for yourself. Many of the advertisements and commercials are

actually, I guess, propagating what the enemy wants to do. Right.

So if you're not careful in guiding outside, we may very well fall to

the traps of the enemy. And we have to learn to see right,

like how Joshua and Caleb did. They saw the Promised Land, and even

before they saw the Promised Land, they saw the promise that God has given

them, while they other eighth spies for God about God's promise. All right,

So that was the first part about, you know, for the series

of Into the Promised Land, and it is on are you seeing right now?

For the second part. Before we go into the topic or the title,

We're gonna do a little activity. Some of us here may have heard

this before. It was viral about six years ago, but we're gonna do

this together. Okay, So we're gonna play a clip, a video clip,

and you're gonna right to make out what the audio is saying. Are

you ready for this? So we practice are hearing today? Okay, if

say laula, raise your head? Doesn't say yeah, any raise your head?

How like that? Oh? Hear different things? Anybody here? What

hurt? Other things? Other things? Also? Yeah? So for the

children here, I kid, what do you guys hear Laurel? The any

of you here Yearny? Oh? Some of you here Yearny? So is

it Laurel or Yeenny? Actually? I also don't know. So for me,

I hear Laurel. I can't for the life of me here Yeanny.

I tried, really, if you just hear it for one time, right,

I replace this or don't know how many minutes just to try to catch

YNI, but I couldn't. There's a bit of signs behind it. If

you do a little bit of audio editing, you can actually you're able to

hear both. Actually, if you drop the pitch down law, you're able

to hear Yeenny. If you drop the pitch up high. It's Laurel.

It's a little bit of like a audio illusion line if you would. Okay,

So a little activity to sort of help me segue into our topic for

today. So part two of into the Promised Land is are you listening right?

So for the children here, if you're taking notes, you'll see there's

a part that says title, all right, so the title is this are

you listening right? And parents, if you will, you can help your

children. Also to write on the top left corner. There's a part that

says message title you can write are you listening right? Okay? Cool.

Now I'm gonna give a little bit of an analogy. Some may even say

it's a joke. Many will say it's reality. You guys ready for this.

So one day there was a wife. Let's say it to the husband,

you weren't listening, were you? The husband didn't respond, but thought

to himself, that's a weird way to start a conversation, you guys,

think at the joke. Let me say that again. The wife was saying

to the husband, you weren't listening, were you? And the husband's thinking

to this himself, is this how you start the conversation? Do you guys,

get a job. Can know some of you get it. Something you

don't. Let me explain, don't get it. Basically, the wife was

saying some stuff in the beginning and the husband wasn't listening. So the husband

thought, did you just start the conversation? What a weird way to start

the conversation. So how many wives here can relate? Oh no, that's

how you get so most of you don't. Or very good husband's, husband's

good job. You guys have been doing good work. So we're talking about

are you listening right, We're gonna look at scripture real quick. Numbers fourteen,

one to five. Okay, So we're gonna read this together. So

for the parents, if you have the Bible with your whether physical or or

on your phone, maybe you can share with your children and we can read

it together. So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and

the people wept that night. Now this context, right right before this,

in chapter thirteen, eight of the spies were telling the congregation of how dangerious

the Promised Land is. Right, So the congregation cried, and verse two

says and all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron and the whole

congregation said to them, if only we had died in the land of Egypt,

or if only we had died in this wilderness, so drama verse three,

Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword?

That our wives and children should become victims? We did not be better

for us to return to Egypt? How ungrateful are the Israelites? Law just

delivered them from their captors, all right? And verse five says this,

Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation

of the Children of Israel. My first point is this, what do we

want to hear? I'm gonna explain a bit why I mentioned this point.

Now. I shed about this the previous round, that there spies that were

actually leaders of their tribes. They weren't just any one you watch movies,

right, Usually the boss, all right, will ask their their the Arminians,

to go and do jobs they don't want to do. Go and if

you die it costs nothing, that kind of thing. But over here God

has instructed Moses to send leaders of the tribes to spy the land. Right,

They represented the voice of their tribes, which is why I believe when

they brought back the bad reports to Israel. The tribes were so fast to

accept the bad report because from the start, likely the tribes already had doubts.

So when these tribe leaders came back with a bad report, and when

they represent the voids of the tribes, likely it was very easy to accept

the bad report. And again before this, right from the last time,

from how what was the span of them escaping Egypt to where the scripture is?

You guys, remember I shared this the last round for those that were

here. Do you remember how long it was two years from the point they

were passing the Raid Sea, crossing the Raid Sea to this point of them

about to go into the Promised Land, actually not even the Promise land.

They were supposed to take on Canaan in different parts of the surrounding lends.

First it was two years. So my guess is this that two years were

enough for them to have toubts in their hearts. We read the Old Testament,

right, Sometimes you're very frustrated with the Israelites. Then the lads did

this for you, and now you complain again, right? And for the

parents. Yes, sometimes you go like did then't I just buy you a

toy, and now you complain again, you want a new toy. So

for the Israelites that was the case. Two years was enough for them to

say stuff like, it's probably better, probably better you go back to Egypt.

Now, if you read a few if you real exodus, do you

know they say exactly the same words when they were before they crossed the race,

whether they were sort of like in between the racy and the Pharaoh's army.

You know what they said, why do you bring us out here to

die? Wouldn't it be better that we were back in Egypt? Then God

did the miraculous thing of parting the rad Sea. They saw with their own

eyes the Racy swallowing up Pharaoh's army. Two years later they can say the

same thing, why did you bring us out here to die? Cay Imagine

how God must have felt now when they when the Ten Spies brought back the

bad reports, it fed into the doubts within their hearts. Can't be bold

to say this. They want to hear the bad report. This led them

to be blinded from the truth of the promised land that God will fulfill his

promise. The bad report was so quote unquote sweet and convinced, convincing that

even Moses and Aaron fell before them. Even Moses and Aaron got shaken by

the bad report. You know, have you ever heard the phrase wallowing in

self pity? How about that? Have you ever been there? I have?

It's very comfortable, right that position. For those of us who have

been there, it's very hard to get out of the pity pool. We

call it, I believe in this is somewhat the similar situation for the Israelites.

They were so overwhelmed by looking at the enemy that they forgot to look

at God, and they forgot that this is the Lord that delivered them from

Egypt, and now at the brink of a breakthrough where God is going to

send them into the Promised Land, and this prophecy has been there for a

long time since Abraham. Right, the Israelites know this, Yet at the

bring of going to overcome and step into this promise that God gave them,

they wavered. They were finding it strangely sweet and comfortable to be where they're

at, to wallow in self pity, to dwell in the bad reports.

Humans are funny. It doesn't make sense, right, It really doesn't make

sense. What's worse was that the Israelites weren't just wallowing self pity. They

were wallowing in a pity party. The majority of the Israelites we're taking on

the bad report. There were multiple affirmations to their flashly thoughts. In a

bit, it's gonna make sense. It's quite a bit to grasp. It

took me a while as well, but in a bit, it's going to

make sense. Jeremiah seventeen nine says this. The heart is deceitful above all

things, and desperately wicked. Who can know it. We have to be

very careful when we hear things our flesh wants to hear. Many times the

things we want to hear are actually not aligned with what God wants. How

many of us have prayed in ways where God, if you don't say anything,

I'm just gonna proceed with this when it is something that I want,

only to find ourselves regretting that we did it, and then we blame God

by saying, God, you didn't say anything, or but then God responds

by saying, but I didn't tell you to do anything. Many times we

find a lot of reasons or excuses for the things that we want, and

it pervades our minds and changes it to allow us to be fool to think

that it is what God wants. We have to be very careful. So

that's why the title the topic, sorry, not topic. The first point

is this, what do we want to hear? We have to reflect.

Here's another example, right, when people gossip to you, what is your

response? Oh, man, gossip is really sweet. You see at the

mama and go like, hey, you know you go you talk to your

friend Ah that there, you know her? John didn't say hi to me.

He didn't say hi to me. Not a nice person. And this

John leader of the church. Or what is your response if someone goes up

to you and says this, The very natural flesh response is really hey,

tell me more correct norm all right, hey, details, details, spill

the t spill the tea. What is our response? Because if you're not

careful, our fleshy thoughts will take over and go find out malla. And

it's always sweet to find out the bad things of people, human nature,

sinful nature. That's why I hope now it's starting to make sense when I

say what do you want to hear? Because for the Israelized at that time,

what they wanted to hear wasn't God's promise. I believe they wanted an

excuse not to get out of their comfort zone. They didn't want to do

the work or stepping in to fight armies. So they find every possible reason,

every possible excuse. They jump at every possible excuse so that they don't

have to do that. So when the ag Spice came back with that bad

report, immediately they jumped at it and go like, yeah, what they

said, we can't go? They cry. They cry if I thing when

they cry out, I believe some of them are crying out to the Lord.

I believe Lord God at the time of his face palming himself, day,

I really told you to go? Why are you not moving and wallowing

in self fity. We have to practice discernment every time we hear things,

every time we listen to something, and we have to always check our hearts.

Is this really what God wants to not go into the Promised Land?

Or is it just our hearts deceiving us. We have heard all this saying

right, the heart wants what it wants right, you see you hear that

in songs as well. But we can do better. We have to help

with the Holy Spirit, we will be able to discern. We will be

able to know what our fleshy thoughts from the evil one that tries to tempt

us, and what is the truth of God. And as a follow up

to this, this is my second point, how we listen mean poison our

thoughts? Numbers fourteen three says this right, Why has the Lord brought us

to this land to fall by the sword? Then our wives and children should

become victims? Will need not be better for us to return to Egypt.

You know what just happened. Suddenly God was being accused? Did God bring

them there to die? Was that God's intention? He actually brought them there

to live, isn't it? But look at what the Israelites said? Why

has the Lord blame God? God? Why you bring us here to die,

to fall by the sword? Someone bringing family? Then our wives and

children shall be victims. Look at how the Israelites just painted their own God.

They painted their God as a When we keep surrounding ourselves with unclean and

unrighteous voices, whether it being actual people or our own thoughts, it will

slowly but surely alter our thoughts and skew our perception of reality. Very careful

with what you listen to. There are many songs out there nowadays. We

love the tune, but do we actually know what the lyrics are. Yeah,

parents here will feel it because you will safeguard your children, right,

you know. So for the children here, as your dadea mammy ever say

don't listen to this and don't watch this. Yes, right, for the

children here, they and I want to tell you kids, when your parents

do that, they are protecting you from listening to things that are not right

and watching things that are not right. So in the same way we have

to god what we listened to, we have to process what we just heard.

Taking another taking the same example of gossip, when people gossip to you

and you choose to partake in that gossip, it would definitely I guarantee you

skew your perception towards that person, whether you want it or not. I

believe a lot of you are not and saying yes, because you have experienced

it, you have I have to for example, that they are John didn't

say hi to me, and then he goes, yeah, okay, now

don't use your name. That they are. Stephen didn't pussus. Stephen didn't

say hi to me, and John goes yallah, But Stephen didn't say hi

to me. Also, must be a bad person, must be person?

How can a leader not say hi to us? From an action, we

suddenly find ourselves judging the character of a person very dangerous. Okay, I'm

not trying to defend myself. I use my name only. I say an

example, I try my best to say hi to all of you. I

think you guys know this, right. I try my best, but we

are growing. So if I don't say hi, please forgive me. It

wasn't intentional, okay, But sometimes we have to be very careful when we

participate in gossip, when we listen to what other people say. If we

don't get our hearts got our ears, we may unintentionally create a false perception

towards that person. Right. And this is something I practice every time someone

comes up to me and says, plusus Stephen, that there I saw Oh

I heard this person say Diesel. Why the person will do that? What

I practice I teach you guys a bit. What I do is I will

always give a benefit of a doubt, always, no matter who it is.

I'll go like, but are you sure you heard that? Or did

you hear someone say that? The person say that, did you hear it?

Were you in the conversation to get the full contexts, because if not,

maybe it's better that we are on the side of caution and doubt before

we jump into conclusion. That's what I practice. I try to do that.

I try to do that. I think it's something we can do a

little bit more. When someone comes up to you to say, hey that

they this person do this, always give a benefit of a doubt. Now

I'm going to translate this from man to man to man to God. All

right, talking about how an action it cause us to judge a person's character.

How many of us have said this before. God didn't answer my prayer,

He doesn't care. Ooh, touch a nerve there, because I have

been there as well. On the surfirst level, it sounds very childish,

right, like, God didn't answer your prayer doesn't mean his character is like

that man. Yet we sometimes find ourselves doing that. We need to slowly

grow to a point of maturity that we recognize that God's responses doesn't define his

character. Let me explain that a bit. Just because God didn't say yes

to your prayer doesn't mean that God doesn't love you just because as parents we

tell our children that's the last suit you're eating, you cannot eat anymore.

Does that mean you don't as parents you don't care? It's actually it's on

the contrary, right, So how do we approach God when it comes to

this? We have to be careful of what and how we listen, not

just what we listen, but how we listen. We have to be careful

when we listen to things that are surrounding us, gossip, wherever it is,

frustrations, complaints, complaints are so sweet, really, complaints are so

sweet. But we have to learn to be very careful with that. And

we're going to talk more about complaints in the third part. On this part,

we're going to focus in on listening. Now this one, Okay,

and young people here. If your friends say something bad about another friend to

What would you do when you're trying to hide behind the person you see?

If your friend comes up to you and say, hey, this person very

bad, what would you do? What would you say? Leave it?

our response, are you this person better not go close? Lessen the contact?

let me teach you, Isaac, Nathan and every other children here how you

should respond. Okay, And this is the part where you can write in

your notes. You see there's a part in the notes that says, how

can I apply what I learned today? Okay? You write? These are

so when a friend says something to you about another friend that is bad,

this is what you can say, that's not very nice? Huh? Okay,

can you do that? Isaac? Can you do that? Nathan and

everyone else? Children? When someone come out, do you, yeah,

tell you where, Hey Bob has a bad haadcut? Then you should reaspond

that's not very nice. Yeah, don't go see it. Don't talk bad

about other people? Right? So we have to be very careful to what

we allow ourselves to listen to. Right, we have to filter. If

not, if you're not careful, we will start seeing it invade our minds

and poison our thoughts. And then coming to an end. Now what today's

a menstal shot? Yes, coming to a closing. Okay, So again

first point, just to reiterate, is what do we want to hear?

We have to remember that what we want to hear may not necessarily be pleasing

to God. First point. Remember that second point, how we listen may

poison our thoughts, So we have to filter what we listen to. Now,

closing numbers fourteen six to nine says this, But Joshua, the son

of Nane and Caleb, the son of Jeffany, who were among those who

inspire the lasts, tore their clothes. Now, I just want to say,

if you ever wondered why they sow drama to tear their clothes every time

in the b Bible, every time they are angry, they tear their clothes

on. Right, it's like movie like Bollywood? Are that right? Let

me tell you a leby why. I also curious why they have to tear

their clothes. So I went to do a libt of research. Now this

is a little bit of fun fact, I'm not really related to a message.

So back then, right, do you know, there's no unique clothe,

there's no hat m Why I say that is today there are what do

you call this? They first mass produced clothing. Back then, there's no

such thing as factories. To mass produce clothing, they have to sew on

a That means clothing is actually a limited as set. You know, it's

expensive. So when people tear their clothes back then, it means a big

form of grief and morning that they come to a point where even something so

precious to them they will rip apart. Frustration, anger, mourning. You

see that a lot when in the Bible, when their loved ones pass away,

they will tear their clothes in morning and they'll put on sack cloth.

Man, I tell you to think that set cloth is so that they can

be naked. No, the reason why they wear seck cloth is because it's

very uncomfortable. They do it to sort of, like I don't know,

I guess human nature, to sort of also display or express that they are

in deep pain. So that's why a libit of context a little bit of

Bible study, history, study of why people tear their clothes. Okay,

now back to the message verse seven. And they spoke to all the So

yeah again, Joshua and Kayler pall their clothes because they were in deep frustration

and grief. And they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel,

saying the land we passed through to spy out isn't good land. Now

you realize now the tony is differentity when you realize why they taught it clothes.

They were so frustrated. There is a good land. They God brought

us so far, and now you're trying not to go into what God is

asking us to go into. Frustrated Verse eight. If the Lord delights in

us, then he will bring us into this land and give it to us.

They're repeating what the Lord said. A language flows with milk and honey.

Verse nine. Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the

people of the land, for they are our bread. Their protection has departed

from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.

Thank God there were josh Weine Killer, who speaks out of the voice of

the Lord, contacts majority of Israel against what they said, the two men

against hundreds and thousands of Israelites. Not even Moses and Aaron said anything.

And what were they doing? Lie down? It was scared, the supposed

leader of the Israel, Israelites lying down in fear, Joshua and Caleb Man.

I can't imagine the amount of courage it took for them to try to

beat the crowd's voice and shout and say, guys, listen, this is

where the Law is leading us. Stop listening to all these bad reports.

Listen to the lawd Hebrews to one. Okay, this one for the children.

Here, this is your memory verse. You can write it down.

Okay. Hebrews to one says this. Therefore, we must pay much closer

attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. Pay

close attention to what the Lord has already spoken, because if we don't,

we will drift away from it. Like how the israelied it, they saw

the razing partner. How many of us we have a chance to see something

like this. I don't know they saw that happen. These are things of

imagination. We can only imagine they saw it. Yet they can still forget

who was with them the Lord. So we must pay much closer attention to

what we have heard from the Lord. Do you know that if you listen

and heard from the Lord and you don't act upon it, you ignore it,

your heart will harden. It's a natural thing. The harder your heart

hardens, or it's almost like a t twister. The harder your heart haddens,

you'll find yourself slowly not being able to hear the Lord. Also speaking

from personal experience, so this is my loving caution to all of us,

brothers and sisters. If you have heard from the Lord, pay much close

attention and heed what the Lord says, because if you don't, your heart

will harden. And to let God soften your heart again. It's painful,

it's really painful. We don't have to get there. Let what the Lord

has spoken to you be lived out, all right, This and encouragement to

all of us. Now, Joshua and Caleb again, in spite of all

the noises that were around them, with the majority of the tribes going against

them, they listen to the Lord back then. They don't have microphone again,

trying to paint the picture hundreds of thousands of men before them, They

don't have a microphone, hundreds of thousands of men grumbling, crying, it's

all right, crying like probably saying, and you'll see in scripture later stone

them. These two men, out of all of their alarms, were screaming,

listen to the Lord. Listen. Do you know how easy it is

to give up? At that point? They're not listening, not listening.

My encouragement to us today is this, don't let the multitudes dictate what we

should do with our lives. So them thing, to just follow what the

hundreds and thousands are saying. So them. If you're in those shoes,

I can't imagine how I would have responded in that situation. I think I

may be shaken. Maybe there's some truth to what they're saying, because hundreds

and thousands of them are saying the same thing. I am am I hearing

wrong? Have I listened wrongly to Lord the Lord? Have I got the

wrong idea? Let's learn from Joshua and Caleb to always listen to the Lord

and hold fast to what the Lord says. Because if we don't do that,

we don't put that into our hearts. It's something that we want,

we have to do. We'll find ourselves saying very easily if you've already put

into your heart that whatever other people say, I won't do it. If

you already put that in your heart from the start, it's easier for you

not to waver if you don't have that kind of conviction and you go like

we see, howa when the multitudes speak up, you won't be able to

speak up. It's a guarantee. There's an encouragement to all of us.

Okay, so children, you guys wrote this down, yeah, memory verse

Hebrews two to one. Therefore, we must pay much closer attention to what

we have heard, lest we drift away from it. John eight forty seven.

Whoever belongs to God, here's what God says. The reason you do

not hear is that you do not belong to God. Ouch. So if

we cause olf, children of God, we got to listen to what the

Lord says. You realize that I use the word listen and not hear,

because here is a natural thing. Right. We hear things normal right for

those who are able to hear. Listening requires processing, so and when you

process, that means you are putting effort to think about what you just heard.

So, if you have listened to what God has said. Then it

will encourage a response from us to what the law has said. John ten

twenty seven. My sheep listen to my voice. I know them and they

follow me. If you consider yourself a sheep of a shepherd, then you

have to listen to his voice. No other way. Romans tends seventeen famous

one. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of

God. Hearing by the word of God. We've got to feed ourselves with

the word of God. You've got to listen to things that are align with

the word of God, because if we don't, we'll find ourselves having a

hard time to have faith. Not what I said, this is what the

scripture said. Are you finding a heart to have faith? In the lot?

I ask yourself, what have you been listening to? What have you

been listening to? Are there people constantly telling you, yeah, give up

blah? Why are you still going to church every Sunday? God didn't do

anything for you? Also, what are you listening to? Because if we

are not careful, we will start let it to let it poisons. Yeah,

you're right, maybe God, God, it's not real. Yeah,

heavy message. We are don't treat it as like, oh man, I've

not been listening right. I'm in trouble. No, I will want us

to take it as encouragement to start listening right. We can do something about

it right now. And as a closing, I'm going to invite the worship

team up. This is the last line on my sermon notes says this.

To enter the Promised Land, the very destiny that God has for us,

we need to listen right because when we listen right, we are able to

know what to do. We are to do as the Lord directs and instructs,

not by the words of men that the devil uses to distract and derail

us. So listening right is very important because if we don't listen right,

we won't hear the instructions and the directions. We will be confused, and

the world is getting more and more confusing. We have to come back to

this. Read your Bible. I remember I say this early this year January

when I preach, read your word daily, because if this does not become

a habit now and this is me prophesying, I believe so in my spirit,

it's going to get harder for you to do it in the coming days.

Start now now, I won't say if I myself, don't do it.

No matter how tired I am. I wake up in the morning,

I read the Bible. Do I enjoy it all the time? No?

Some days I have to reread the passage because I realized I wasn't focusing.

I fell asleep, wake up, read again. Focus not easy, But

if I were to listen right, I got to get this right reading the

word of God. When you read the Word of God, your heart softens

and you'll be more sensitive the Holy Spirit. This is the formula. You

want a formula. Read the Word of God. Then you'll be able to

hear the Word of God. You'll hear the Lord speaking to you more and

more each day. You'll be very sensitive to things thrue certain tools, like

God would give you some for those working. Sometimes certain authors come to you.

It sounds really good, it seems very nice, but for some reason

you feel uncomfortable. But it doesn't make sense. That discomfort doesn't make sense

because on paper the contract says it's very good. This is the Lord telling

you don't do it because we won't know what happens. Later, said a

scripture coming up. There no worries, all good, So this is my

encouragement to us, if I can end with an action point for us is

to read the word. To be able to hear the Lord. You got

to read the word, and to not just to that extent. You got

to read the word and obey the voice of the Lord. Because if you

don't, your heart we're really hardened, and it's harder for you to get

back to where you're supposed to be. Not impossible, possible. So if

you're there, don't worry. Start reading the word. Make it a discipline

because if not, and this is a warning, I really mantate rom the

bottom my heart, it's gonna get harder. It's going to get harder to

read the Word of God, and you get more and more confused in the

coming days. So if that there is part two for us. Let's listen,

right, not listen to the noise around us, the voices around us.

Surround yourself with godly counsel. That is in scripture, right, we

have leaders here that cares a lot about you. Leaders heare that pray for

you. You just don't know it. Surround yourself a godly council, because

that is how you're able to hear the voice of the Lord as well.

There's a famous saying that goes, show me who you're hanging out with now,

your sir gold friends, and I'll tell you where you'll be five years

later. The corporate world is a famous analogy. So if you want to

hear the voice of the Lord, then be with people that constantly seeks to

hear the voice of the Lord. Be part of the community so that you

get to encourage one another, you get to spur each other ard Amen.
