  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. Well, I'm here to tell you that if

  3. ever you have setbacks, they are not failures. All right. That's the

  4. title for today's message, setback and not failures. Wow. What kind of

  5. a message is that? Wow? How many of you succeed all the time

  6. every time? Let me see your show of hands. Then I guess this

  7. message is for you, And this message is for us because sometimes we don't

  8. get the kind of success that we want, and then we wonder to ourselves,

  9. how can this be? But the fact of the matter is that we

  10. experience setbacks. And I want you to know these setbacks can happen in church,

  11. they can happen in your family, they can happen in your workplace.

  12. But they are not final unless you make it final. All right, So

  13. setbacks and not failures. Let's read from Second Samuel six versus three onwards.

  14. So they set the ark of God and a new cart and brought it out

  15. of the house of Amida Dab, which was on the hill. And Usa

  16. and Ahil, the sons of Amida Dab, drove the new cart. Hmm.

  17. You know what the story is about. The story is about the moving

  18. of the Ark of the Covenant, WHI was the Ark of the Covenant.

  19. The Ark of the Covenant was a religious implement, a religious item that God

  20. had rested his presence over, all right, And it was supposed to be

  21. an object of focus for the children of God to continue to believe and trust

  22. in the Lord their God. All right. It was not meant to be

  23. worshiped. The Ark of the Covenant was not meant to be worshiped, but

  24. it was an instrument that God had used to cause the children of Israel to

  25. focus on, all right. So when they saw the Ark of the Covenant,

  26. they're remembering about who their God was, and they were supposed to follow

  27. God's instructions. Now, the the house of Amida Aba, Amidah Dad,

  28. the house of this guy. I'm not gonna twist my tongue and get it

  29. cramped. Okay, was on a hill. Was on a hill. So

  30. you know that it was stated that it was on a hill twice. So

  31. what's the big deal about on a hill on a hill far away stood in

  32. a russ Okay, it was on a hill. So the thing is this,

  33. Sometimes our blessings cause us to be on hills. We're on top of

  34. the world. We're on top of the world. Isn't it lovely to be

  35. on top of the world. You know, when you're on top of the

  36. world, there's actually really if you're not careful, only one way to go.

  37. It's downhill. Okay. So that's why it was mentioned twice that this

  38. house was on a hill. You do not want to lose a blessing because

  39. you remain on the hill will tell without recognizing, there's some things that we

  40. need to do to be careful about. So verse four, and they brought

  41. it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on a hill. The

  42. second time it's mentioned on a hill, so there must be some importance.

  43. List. If there was no importance, it would only be mentioned once.

  44. So anyway, they were accompanying the Ark of God and I heal went before

  45. the Ah, so there was somebody in France. There was pomp and grandeur,

  46. there was system. So a system was being operated in order for the

  47. Ark of the Covenant to be moved. Hey, God wants the focus of

  48. your attention on him, irrespective of whether you are stagnant or whether you are

  49. moving. You mean to say, you can be stagnant and not moved.

  50. Yeah you can. But whatever your condition is, your focus has got to

  51. be on God doing the right thing. See, we're talking about setbacks and

  52. failures. Is it okay to have set backs? Okay? How many of

  53. us have had setbacks? Oh, that's almost all of us. We have

  54. set backs. How many of us have had failures? How many of you

  55. have overcome those failures? Then those failures were not failures. They were setbacks,

  56. because if they were failures, you never would have overcome it. I

  57. think you get where I'm going with this. Another mind, let's see verse

  58. five. Then David and all the House of Israel played music before the Lord

  59. in all kinds of instruments of fur wood, on hops, on string instruments,

  60. on tambourines, on systems whatever that is, and on symbols. Now,

  61. this is where we start to get confused a bit. There was celebration.

  62. Yeah we celebrated just now, well, happy birthday? They cut the

  63. cake. Is celebration worship? Okay? Let me ask this question again.

  64. Is celebration worship? Can I see a show of hands? Those who thinks

  65. celebration is worshiped, don't be shy Liah, you have to tell the truth.

  66. How many of you think celebration is not worship? Celebration is not necessarily

  67. worship. Nowhere in verse five does it say that the Lord was being blessed.

  68. What did it say there was music? Hey, we go for a

  69. party, there's music. Is that worship? How many parties have we been

  70. to that there was music? Got a lot? Right? Was it worshiper?

  71. But what if it was worship music? If your mind was not focusing

  72. on God. You are great, God, you are good, God,

  73. you are holy, then I got news for you. It's not worship.

  74. You and I have to understand there's a distinction between celebration and worship. You

  75. know, some of the times we miss it and we are saying, but

  76. go what happened? I was so happy, you know, I was just

  77. celebrating, you know, I mean, well know that people celebrate with wine,

  78. people celebrate with champagne, people celebrate with beer, people celebrate with brandy,

  79. people celebrate smoking cigars, people celebrate smoking other things. Whim Oh.

  80. So David, somewhere along the line, did not see something very clearly.

  81. He was going to move something of great importance to the Lord, and he

  82. thought I'm a good musician. I'll just have a concert. I'll have a

  83. concert in you know, in in conjunction with the moving of this item.

  84. We just had a song in conjunction with the birthday of x Bu. But

  85. do you know, until the second line was sung, until the second verse

  86. was sun, it was nothing more than celebration. But when we sang the

  87. second verse, may the Good Lord bless you, may the good that's when

  88. we recognized for us to continue, God has to be involved. And when

  89. you give that focus to God, it goes from mere celebration to something more

  90. special. So now ask yourself on hindsight, those things which you failed or

  91. you had your setbacks on, what's their worship involved? Who's their worship involved?

  92. Now? When they came up to Natchal's his names sounds like Natos,

  93. I like Natos okay, So when they I cannot say, when they came

  94. to naturals threshing floor. When they came to Nachon's threshing floor, Uzza put

  95. out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it for the

  96. oxen stumbled. So now they're coming downhill. You see when you're up hill

  97. and you're coming downhill. It may not necessarily be an easy journey. How

  98. many of you've got this cars? When you're driving, they've got meter that

  99. tells you you're saving petrol. Okay, that means you know, it shows

  100. you. Oh, when all of it is to the to the right side

  101. while you are using very little, feel very good. And then it moves

  102. all the way to the left. You're not saving fuel, you're burning fuel.

  103. How many you got cars like that? Yeah, we got right.

  104. Okay, Well it is like that sometimes when we're going downhill, we seem

  105. to be saving a lot of fuel. What kind of fuel are we saving?

  106. Are we saving on that energy which should be given to the Lord?

  107. Are we keeping that energy for ourselves? So now, as they were going

  108. down, the car stumbled and Uza put out his hand to stop it from

  109. folly. How many of you believe he did a great thing? Come on,

  110. honestly, shore hands, you've read this scripture before. He was doing

  111. a good thing, right, how many you felt that God's judgment? You

  112. know what happened to him or not? The guy died, Okay, then

  113. the anger of the Lord was he and then the anger of the Lord was

  114. aroused against Uzan God struck him there for his error, and he died there

  115. by the app How many of you thought this was a little bit harsh,

  116. honestly? I mean I thought it was hush, pretty hush, right.

  117. The guy was doing something to help his name, Yeah, but he was

  118. still this God's thing. I cannot let it fall and put my hand out

  119. and he died. Do you know why he died? I ask you a

  120. question. There's God need you or I to protect him? When Uzza put

  121. his hand out to protect that arc from falling, what was he actually telling

  122. God? You need me? And that's where the beginning of our problems start

  123. to arise, when we are telling God you need me. I'm something special.

  124. You need me? Oh that is a very very how should I say

  125. haughty thing? That's haughtiness before the Lord? Do you let me put it

  126. another way? Do you think this great God, this wonderful God, who

  127. set the sun in its place and put eight planets? And now I think

  128. the count is two? Do off planets? Okay? Do you know there's

  129. another planet besides Pluto? Pluto is now considered a dolf planet. I think

  130. they found another one that is much further A science is us finding out a

  131. lot of things. Do you know that there's one planet they haven't seen because

  132. it's always on the other side of the sun, and it moves together with

  133. how the rotation, So it's only through mathematics they have proved. I think

  134. it's Neptune. If I'm not mistaken. They have not seen it, you

  135. know, it's mathematics that have proven it's there. So anyway, that's a

  136. different thing, not important. But this God who has as protected Earth and

  137. put it in its circle, does he need anybody to prevent that arc from

  138. falling? Think about it. This same God who said to the Sun,

  139. you shall stand still while my servant Joshua takes the city, and the Sun

  140. stood still and did not go down and remain there in the sky so that

  141. Joshua could finish the battle. This God cannot prevent his ark from falling.

  142. You begin to see how that God interprets it as haughtiness before him. When

  143. God said, nobody shall lay their hands and touch that arc, for if

  144. they do, they shall die. We read that that's before what was he

  145. saying, I will detected? So now that you understand this, do you

  146. think God was being harsh? You and I believe in a great God.

  147. We have so many great things going our way. Sometimes we try to lend

  148. God a helping hand with our own blessings, and that's when trouble starts,

  149. setbacks happen. So you and I got to be very very careful. God

  150. is very exact, he's gotten, He's got a certain way of doing things.

  151. When we try and circumvent it, what are we trying to do?

  152. We are trying to put our hand on the arc because we think it's falling.

  153. We think our blessing is falling, so we show it up our own

  154. way. Guess what happens? We diemand not physically die, but our blessing

  155. vanishes. And perhaps that is why our successes turn around and go the other

  156. way? Did you ever ask yourself that question? I wanted you to look

  157. at verse eight and David, Now this is David, the man after God's

  158. own heart. He became angry because of the Lord's outbreak against Usa. He

  159. became angry, and he called the name of the place Peis, Usa to

  160. this day is the Lord's anger. The Lord's anger means something to that effect.

  161. Okay, so David became angry with the Lord. Hey, who is

  162. David? To get angry with God. You know, I know of people

  163. today who are angry with God. I don't come to church be goot angry

  164. with God. I got a word for them. There's the sixth letter words

  165. starting with S or there's a five letter word starting with eye. Seriously,

  166. who are we to get angry at God? Can the ant get angry at

  167. the elephant? I tell you the tale. The hair from the tail of

  168. the elephant falls on the end, the end is crushed. Who are we

  169. to tell God? God, I'm angry with you because this happened because I

  170. feel you know, at that moment, you know what David was saying,

  171. God, you were unjust. If he knew what God, if he understood

  172. what God was trying to get across, would he have been angry? He

  173. would have been angry at USA. How dare you think you have it in

  174. you to show up God, show a s h R. E not shure

  175. up to prevent something from happening to God? Hey, you know I always

  176. think it very very strange. I thank God I believe in a God whom

  177. I don't have to protect. I'm so grateful. I'm so grateful that I

  178. believe in a God who doesn't need my assistance to protect his name. But

  179. there's so many people in the world today who have to protect their God's name,

  180. not me. You can say what you like about my God, because

  181. I know you're you're another four letter words starting with F or not a bad

  182. word. You know why, because the fool says in his heart there's no

  183. God. That's the word. Okay. If you're thinking of any other word,

  184. shame on you, all right. The fool says in his heart there's

  185. no God. You know. God loves us and he wants to do right

  186. by us. And what are these setbacks? How did the setbacks happen?

  187. How did they come into our life? This is the answer. The answer

  188. is here. Setbacks come into our life because we think God needs our help.

  189. No, we need God's help even when he tells us to do something.

  190. We are not helping God, you know, we're helping ourselves. To

  191. us more will be given to those that don't have, even what they have

  192. will be taken away from them. God gives you the talent, What are

  193. you supposed to do with it? Buried in the ground? No use it?

  194. Man? How do you use it? God? Help me to use

  195. your talent? What are you doing? You're giving it back to God and

  196. saying, God, I can't do it without you, but with you I

  197. can do anything. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthen me.

  198. I would rather be caught weak, because then I can be strong in

  199. You, rather than I be so strong I don't need you. There are

  200. many people in the world who say I don't need God, and that then

  201. the word fool comes in. The fool says in his heart there is no

  202. God. So have we ever felt in a failure or a seeming failure?

  203. Have we ever felt that we were doing the right thing and somehow things still

  204. didn't go away? How many of us have thought we were doing the right

  205. thing and still we did not succeed. Can I see a show hands?

  206. Because I'm one of them, Ask yourself, it's God to blame. Never

  207. there was no progress? How many have felt of us have felt there was

  208. no progress? Oh, I've been doing this for twenty five years. No

  209. progress, no progress. It is very important that all may know that,

  210. all me know I. As I've shared in my testimonies, I found out

  211. so many people came to the Lord, which I found out twenty five thirty

  212. years after I shared with them. So is it necessary for me to feel

  213. there's no progress. No, as long as you've done what God has told

  214. you to do, that is progress. What you see is immaterial. Do

  215. you know if Ozard did not put out his hands super naturally, God would

  216. have upheld that cut and the art would not have fallen. How do we

  217. know that when Isaiah caught fire down from heaven to burn the calf that was

  218. filled with water, the offering that was filled with water in the fire,

  219. heaven came in and burnt all of it. This God, who can do

  220. miracles like that, cannot keep a cat up. Strange how many of you

  221. felt that when you didn't make it, others were to blame. Guys,

  222. let's get with the program. When we don't make it, we failed,

  223. and I'll prove it to you in a short one. When we don't cut

  224. it, it's because we cut ourselves. How many of us, when we

  225. experience failure, say we have failed and that's it, our life is over.

  226. I'm a failure. People who can't get out of bed, people who

  227. go into depression, people who have suicidal thoughts. These are people who feel

  228. that they have failed and life ends with that. Then they value their lives

  229. so cheaply, because our lives are not measured by our successes. Our lives

  230. should be measured. They are faith in God and how God sees us.

  231. Jesus said it. I believe it. I believe it because he said it,

  232. and I know yes and no, the Lord's going to see me.

  233. Yeah, that's a song, one of the first raps a long time ago.

  234. Okay, Jesus said it. In fact, Smith Wigglesworth says has said,

  235. I believe in his book Jesus said it. I believe it. I

  236. believe it because he said it. And it's good enough your success. When

  237. you said, Jesus coming to my heart and be my Lord and savior,

  238. you will forever be in God's eyes a victor. You will forever be in

  239. God's eyes successful. You know why because the Bible says you have crossed from

  240. death to life. And nothing the Bible says can separate you from the love

  241. of God. Neither height nor death, no principalities can separate you from the

  242. love of God. And when you said, Jesus come to my heart and

  243. be my Lord in saving you forever were and will be a success in the

  244. eyes of God, because now he calls you son, he calls you daughter.

  245. No longer does he call you a hiling. When that father was looking

  246. in the direction that the prodigal son left, was he looking at a failure?

  247. When he saw his son walk to him in tattered clothes, without shoes

  248. on his feet, skin and bones, through starvation, disheveled, disheveled,

  249. in a bad state. Did the father run up to the sun and said,

  250. I told you you were going to fail, your failure, never listen

  251. to me. See what happens? Did your father do that? No?

  252. You see, the Father will always treat the Sun as a son. And

  253. he ran to the sun and put the robe on his neck, put the

  254. ring on his finger, and put the sandals on his feet, the cloak

  255. of shelter, the ring of authority and sonship and freedom from pain, with

  256. the sandals on his feet, never a failure before the Lord. So how

  257. do we react when things don't go well? Hey? Man? We get

  258. angry? Why not? How many of you when things don't go right,

  259. get angry? I mean you're nailing a nailer on a piece of wooden,

  260. and you miss the nail and you hit your thumb with the hammer. You

  261. don't get angrier after you see the stars. Then you get angry? Man,

  262. you owe my finger and then for daiser the fingers letting you know you

  263. hit it going like that? Why not? How many you ever nailed the

  264. nail before? Anger? Do we get angry? Do we get angry at

  265. someone, anyone for that matter, because we did not succeed? Oh I've

  266. seen people get angry at the world. Oh, you know, and live

  267. in anger? What a way to live? Horrible? Does it make us

  268. afraid when we don't meet up? When we fail? Do we get afraid?

  269. We do? Isn't it We get afraid that we can't succeed, We

  270. get afraid that it's going to stay that way. I tell you there was

  271. a man who had no job and he came to me and he came for

  272. counseling, no job, had a wife and kids to support, no job.

  273. Then he said, so I asked him, have you gone for a

  274. new Yeah? Yeah, I have gone for interviews? So uh uh,

  275. you know, what? What? What? What? What do you think?

  276. So? I was offered one of the job, But I don't think

  277. it's God's will? Really? Why why you don't think it's God's will,

  278. because they're offering one thousand less than what I want. I said, then

  279. this is the word a lord for you. You have no right to eat.

  280. I told him straight to his face. You have no right to eat

  281. food. You should staff because the Bible says him that does not work.

  282. Let him not eat. So if you ask me, what is the Lord's

  283. will, the Lord's will is work. And if you're not willing to work,

  284. don't eat. You have no right to food. He shook him.

  285. Men, he shook me. I said that, now you know, but

  286. that was actually under the the I think anointing. You know, he took

  287. the job and until today he's super super super happy. He's super happy.

  288. What is the Lord's will? The Lord's will is work, Clan, unless

  289. the job is to go and kill somebody, then you know it's not the

  290. lord's will because the Bible says do not kill, but the Bible says work.

  291. So we and I get confused by what God's will is because we're not

  292. looking for God's way. We're looking for our will, and we are placing

  293. it upon God as if it's God's will. And that's why we have so

  294. many setbacks in life. Doubt, do we doubt. Do we doubt ourselves?

  295. Oh I can't do it, man, Praise the Lord. There's so

  296. many things I could not do that I did. I don't know why I've

  297. told you this. You know I got. I always get three upon hundred

  298. for art, hundred for art. I'll be up there in school, and

  299. then when the art marks are added, I come to the middle. I

  300. know. Choice, man. I couldn't draw to save my life. Okay.

  301. Then one day the pastor came up to me a long time ago,

  302. Terrence, I want you to do a banner for me. You want me

  303. to do a banner? You know what I get for art every time?

  304. No, no, no, no, just do a banner. Okay.

  305. What do you want? Believe us victory for Jesus convention. Okay, I'll

  306. do that. They say, yeah, you have to do Okay, So

  307. I asked the Lord Lord how to do her that time? No for the

  308. starting machine again, very rare. This was in the in the early eighties,

  309. very hard to find. For the steting machine again, it was liquid

  310. Turner who was not powdered Tner. But those of you, some of you

  311. will remember, Okay, no computer meaning that no way to discuss what design

  312. formed. You know what am I going to do? I say, Lord,

  313. And Lord said, you know, he gave me an idea, draw

  314. squares. So I drew squares on the paper I think I used. You

  315. know, the paper you put in between and then when you drop carbon copy,

  316. So all my a for paper. I did letteringer did the squares.

  317. Then from the squares, I started to draw letters. Okay, where I

  318. got the idea from, I don't know. After getting it all done,

  319. I hand cut everything and then I stapled it to a canvas which I went

  320. and bought, cut and used my mother's sewing machine to sew. The banner

  321. was about twenty feet long. Okay. I put the letters down there,

  322. and then I took red pain and hand painted. That banner was up in

  323. church for at least five years. Did I doubt I could do it?

  324. My Bible tells me I can do all things through Christ to strengthen me.

  325. Praise the Lord. I did not doubt get in the way. I did

  326. not let my experience in art get in the way. Because I let my

  327. experience in art get in the way, I never would have done the banner.

  328. And when I look at that banner every time, I'm thinking that as

  329. praise the Lord. I know with you, that's why it's up there.

  330. It made me happy, and maybe that's why I continue to be able to

  331. do so many things that I cannot do because God helps me. You're the

  332. other day in the office, I fitted the door magnetic lock security system.

  333. Have I ever done it before? No? Is the instructions available? No?

  334. Can you check in the internet to get the instructions? Yes? Unfortunately

  335. all in Urdu, nothing in English. Serious. So you know what trial

  336. and error and praise the Lord. It works. You go and see you

  337. cannot see where the wire is. You know, because I actually dug holes

  338. in the wall, put the wiring in and seal it. Ah, don't

  339. doubt believe paralysis, You know, the paralysis of analysis. You analyze,

  340. analyze, analyze, You don't move. God wants us to move. He

  341. doesn't want us paralyzed. Okay, even the paralytic that came through the roof,

  342. He told the guy get up, take the bed and walk out of

  343. here. Man, I think that's the only time guy paralyzes mentioned in the

  344. Bible. Lame mentioned a few times, but one guy paralyzed that God didn't

  345. allow him to remain Get up. Don't you dare lie on the bed before

  346. me. You take that bed and get out of here. Okay. Paraphrasing

  347. gives you the emotion. Okay, what's right? I want you to know.

  348. What's right will always be right. What's right before God will always be

  349. right. Do you know? In Second Samuel six eleventh, the ark of

  350. the Lord remain in the house of obed Edom. The get tight three months,

  351. and the Lord blessed opened Edom and all his household. Hey, if

  352. you don't do it, God will do it. If you don't want to

  353. move, it's okay. God's fine with that, because somebody else is going

  354. to be blessed. David was angry with the Lord doubted himself. I'm not

  355. gonna move the art, God said, do you think I'm pushed? You

  356. don't want to accept my blessing. It's all right, I'll give it to

  357. somebody else. And in three months God blessed that guy, not only blessed

  358. him, bless everybody in the house. What's yours, blessed of the Lord

  359. should be your blessing. Don't let somebody else enjoy your blessing when it should

  360. be your blessing. You take your blessing and share it with somebody else,

  361. that's different. But when you allow somebody else to take your blessing because you

  362. do not want to move, that's very sad. All right. Then,

  363. now it was told King David saying the Lord was blessed. Okay, the

  364. Lord has blessed the house of obed Dam and all that belongs to him.

  365. Don't worry, I'll be done soon. I know, you know it's lunchtime.

  366. Even my stomach is grumbling. But so it was told King David.

  367. You know why I was told to King David those days no internet, because

  368. if there was internet, I go. You know, David would have been

  369. checking in and you say, this guy's been blessed. Men for all the

  370. cattle double triple or multiplying like nobody's business. What the guy dug a hole

  371. in front gold amazing? No internet? Somebody had to tell me. So

  372. somebody told him a David kinger, let me tell you. You know the

  373. act of the company. You left the guy's house. You should see the

  374. guy and he's been blessed. Now driving a Pochet, the new colored Poche,

  375. you know, the milky brown. Oh, he just built airplane runway.

  376. He's got a cessnade well, King David Stern Donkey. So the Lord

  377. had blessed the House of obitied him and all that belongs to him because of

  378. the aarc of God. You see, God's blessing will never stop because you

  379. and I stopped. So you don't want to move. It's okay. God's

  380. blessing will still continue, all right. So David went and brought the aark

  381. of God from the House of Obitidem the city of David with gladness. So

  382. David changed his heart. I need you God to bless me, and I

  383. know you have. How many of us are blessed of the Lord. How

  384. many of us are thankful that we are blessed to the Lord? Do you

  385. know that if you're a tank about God's blessing, it will continue to happen

  386. in your life. But when you decide that God's blessing was your effort,

  387. it will stop straight away. You know, I'm so afraid to say I

  388. know how to do those things. I'm so afraid because I don't want God's

  389. blessing to stop. So I always tell God, God, it's because of

  390. you I can do this. I mean, you gave me the idea I

  391. didn't know how to do it, but you gave me the idea, and

  392. God will continue to give you amazing ideas. If I were to tell you

  393. all the ideas God gave me throughout my working life, it will surprise some

  394. of you because I crossed into fields of study that were never mine. But

  395. I confounded those who should have given those answers. What was the difference God?

  396. I was hearing what God was telling me because I recognize my success only

  397. belonged to God. And if you ask me, I will tell you now

  398. I have not se on my own. I dare not see that because I

  399. don't want those blessings to stop. And so it was that when those bearing

  400. the ark of the Lord. Now I want you to know something happened between

  401. the first time and the second time the aarc was moved. The second time

  402. the act was moved, it was moved in accordance with God's instructions. The

  403. ark of the Lord had gone six paces, and he sacrificed oxen, infetted

  404. sheep, Wow one two three four five six sacrifice. Yeah, one two

  405. three four five six sacrifice. David worshiped the Lord every six steps. You

  406. know, why does our blessing stop because we stopped worshiping the one who blessed

  407. us. Why do we fail because we don't recognize that we should worship the

  408. one who's going to give us that success. But David caught it now and

  409. every six steps. That means that every move he made was now with the

  410. understanding that he needed to worship God and God would bring that success. You

  411. see. That's why there's a difference between celebration and worship. Celebration maybe worship,

  412. but not always Who makes it worship? We make it worship with the

  413. understanding. So what was different this time? There was careful, second thought,

  414. full sacrifice. Deliberate sacrifice. It means deliberate worship. Guys, what

  415. will continue to make you successful in your life is worship. When we talk

  416. sacrifice, you cannot sacrifice without worship. I mean when they sacrifice that oxenen,

  417. that sheep, what were they doing? They were actually acknowledging God.

  418. It is through your blood that you, because of through your saving me by

  419. your precious blood, that all these things are happening. I get so afraid

  420. all of you, with young families, young children, when you'll say,

  421. oh, I'm going to stop serving the Lord because I had a kid.

  422. Because I have a child, No, I got no time to serve the

  423. Lord. Because I have a child, I got to pull back my service

  424. from the Lord. You know what you're telling God, I can look after

  425. my child better than you can. What a dangerous place to be in.

  426. The child is supposed to add to your service, not subtract from it.

  427. If you have a child and you say, God, I cannot serve you

  428. anymore because of my child, you have told the Lord the child has now

  429. replaced you in my heart. So when the child gets sick, through some

  430. power you have, you're going to get the child better. Or because you

  431. continue to worship God, you can look at the Lord and say, Lord,

  432. I need you. I've told you this testimony before. Ashley, when

  433. she was one year old, she dislocated her arm and she was crying and

  434. crying and crying in church the whole old time. Didn't stop, not even

  435. for us, not even for five minutes. What a bad parent I am?

  436. I gave to God what was God's first and immediately after worship, I

  437. rushed her to the hospital. When I went to the hospital, doctor gave

  438. some you know, a rough examination. She's dislocated the AARB. I got

  439. to get ready and an x ray to confirm it. I looked at Elder

  440. Mabel and I said, let's pray. I don't want Ashley to get in

  441. an x ray at this juncture. So I was holding a toy in my

  442. hand. She was sitting on Mabel's lap, still crying. Then I said,

  443. Lord, in the name of Jesus, I believe you to heal Ashley

  444. right now, in Jesus's name. Immediately, Ashley reached up for that toy

  445. in my hand, and then she started laughing and laughing and laughing, and

  446. she was giggling, and she was complete one hundred and eighty percent in the

  447. opposite direction. So I tested her. She was laughing and joyful. I

  448. just carried her with almible to the count and said, there's no need.

  449. She's healed. And I walked to the hospital and saw the doctor. Why

  450. why do I need to see the doctor? She's here because God looks after

  451. my child better than I can. That's my understanding. I'm not telling you

  452. to do what I do unless God tells you. But I do know one

  453. thing that if you are telling God you can look after your child better than

  454. he can, You're on very dangerous ground. There was worship and offering.

  455. David set aside his kingly garments and put on simple attire so that he would

  456. not be restricted in is worshiped before the Lord. Hey, do we complicate

  457. our lives with all our trappings. I'm the boss, so I cannot worship

  458. the Lord. I am the managing director, and I've got my staff in

  459. the off in the office, coming to church. I got to carry myself

  460. in dignity. I'm sixty five year olds, sixty five, sixty three,

  461. I'm sixty three. Have you seen me worship the Lord? I mean I'm

  462. dancing, I'm moving, I'm dancing. You know how does that look to

  463. some people? What's wrong with this? Guy's got gray haird you see the

  464. way he's moving like that? It's so undignified. So you going to be

  465. a cayoula if you want to no me. That's why I'll be mobile until

  466. I'm ninety one hundred. Because if I got to be mobile, let me

  467. be mobile for the Lord. The Lord will look at it and say,

  468. I like this guy. I will continue to give him mobility. Why would

  469. the Lord give someone who doesn't move mobility? You don't move anyway, so

  470. why would I waste that blessing on you? Do you see how God says?

  471. Do you realize that's the way to think. The work was not done

  472. until carefully prepared of rings were made. Worship was intentional. Worship is intentional.

  473. You want to get God to move on your heart and on your behalf.

  474. Be intentional with how you acknowledge Him and what he does for you.

  475. Because when you acknowledge what He does for you, if you have failed that,

  476. he will turn it around into a success, just like he did by

  477. David wisconcerned and that art was moved. The failure never has to remain one.

  478. He never has to remain one. It is a setback, but a

  479. setback that is not addressed becomes a failure. Success are not failures, but

  480. opportunities to get it right. We hope you've been blessed by this message.
