  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. I want to share with you the title my message

  4. is Heavy with Help from God from Genesis chapter twenty

  5. two was one to two.

  6. Now before you think there's.

  7. Another thing that you know, another message that puts people

  8. down and stuff like that to make people with you

  9. guilty if for not doing enough, well, it's not really

  10. about that, friends, It's really at the end of the day,

  11. it's really about what God wants to do with our life. Right,

  12. I've only got three points, and three points you're always

  13. going to remember this is tn O. How you normally

  14. put tn O for your offering is TNO, just in

  15. case you're in case that you're taking notes. But I

  16. want to speak about this because friends, that God really

  17. desires the church to understand that just coming on a Sunday,

  18. just coming on the Sunday, it's not the full conviction.

  19. While it's good, friends, we love coming on a Sunday,

  20. but there has to be more. There has to be

  21. We sang this song Holy Spirit move Right, and I

  22. was writing in my journey, I don't know why, you know,

  23. I didn't want to come up apprecially because I was

  24. just writing some thoughts down almost in tears only because

  25. while we're asking Holy Spirit to move and God saying that.

  26. It is Earth shouldn't be moving and not the Holy Spirit.

  27. If you understand right we are telling someone to move,

  28. then we are Lord. If you understand tracy, then we

  29. should be moving with the pillar of cloud and fire.

  30. Hallelujah. Right, So.

  31. Smile your friends. Is not an other session about bashing

  32. and stuff like that, right and casual Genesi Chapter twenty two,

  33. Verse one. Now it came to pass these things that

  34. God tested Abraham. God tested Abraham. Who tested Abraham? Come

  35. on next, go to communing.

  36. Praise?

  37. So Hilaiah, God tested Abraham. Now friends, stadtd stdy all right,

  38. all right, God is the one that tests. None of

  39. us here signer or test on friends, Come on, if

  40. you're know how many of you sign or tests?

  41. Please test me.

  42. God, Please, Lord, I want your I want to be

  43. tested today. In fact, most of us here, if possible, God,

  44. please test someone else. My neighbors sitting next to me

  45. right now need the testing.

  46. Someone else.

  47. Right, But the Bible he say God tested Abraham, and

  48. he's sitting in Abraham and this is what Abraham said,

  49. here I am. Friends, the conversation between God and Abraham

  50. did not start with this, Abraham, I'm going to test you,

  51. and Abra replied God, here I am. The word test

  52. was not in the conversation, but the intention was. God

  53. wants to bring Abraham to a journey. How many of

  54. you know that here we'll go to a journey as well.

  55. And he says the worse two that he said, Now

  56. take your only son, your son, your only son, Isaac,

  57. whom you love, emphasis, whom you love. And sometimes in

  58. our life, friends, in our journey, in our work with

  59. the Lord, I want I'm not sure how many words

  60. here we ever heard from from the Lord during our devotion.

  61. Please take something right, whatever it is, and use emphasis

  62. that you like very much, that you really adore your

  63. precious of precious right.

  64. I have not heard preachers come up today.

  65. Godspook to me and asked me to take my precious,

  66. the one thing that I love, right to offer up

  67. as a sacrifice. But here's it, God saying to Abraham,

  68. and go to lemb right and offer him up there

  69. as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which

  70. I shall tell you imagine your daily devotion. You woke

  71. up one day God here and speak to me. And

  72. God is saying to you, please take the one and

  73. only thing that you love so much you've been praying for,

  74. and offer him up at the autar. I'm not sure

  75. how many others see God. They can be you. You know

  76. you are. You are the shepherd. I mean if you

  77. were an image of Jesus, friends and image of Christ,

  78. it will be Jesus with the shepherds, staff, with the

  79. with the lamb. Have not seen anyone putting in their

  80. house Jesus making a whip and cleaning the temper. I've

  81. not seen a picture of Jesus that's being so that

  82. Jesus was, you know, creating the whip. No, it's always

  83. Jesus is living. Have you seen the movie of Jesus,

  84. Jesus movie before, so we will have right, we have

  85. different renditions of Jesus movie and the not the funniest.

  86. Someone told me that that back ten years ago, the

  87. whole movie Jesus was smiling, smiling. That was a smiling

  88. actor that portrays Jesus that way. I'm not sure how

  89. many of us here will imagine Jesus speaking to us

  90. God speaking to us, please take the one thing that

  91. you love and offer him up at the altar. I'm

  92. not sure how many of us here will respond, because

  93. the first word that I want to emphasise is test.

  94. God wants to test Abraham. Turn to your neighbor now

  95. and say that God wants to test you.

  96. Yeah, h.

  97. God wants to test us. God wants to test us.

  98. First missions is about testing. It is oh. I used

  99. to use the work familiar of the comfort. I used

  100. to work getting out from comfortable to uncomfortable friends, but

  101. only to realize that you know, my comfort and your

  102. comfort could be very different. I grew up friends sleeping

  103. on the floor on the seamen floor in my childhood days.

  104. You know the nice seamen floor right with a fan, right,

  105. nice colzey Man floor. There's the best version of a

  106. of of of of of a mattress back then, right.

  107. And I enjoyed it, and I say, you get to

  108. sleep on the seamen floor. And I was just say hallelujah,

  109. prays I love it. But I realized, friends, it's not

  110. about comfortable uncomfortable friends. It's what's familiar. It's what's familiar.

  111. We need to be uncomfortable friends. Or rather, we need

  112. to get off and what's familiar to us, This is

  113. familiar worship, familiar worship, familiar worship. But what happened if

  114. God brings it out into a place whereby that's not familiar,

  115. whereby you get the worship leader may not be singing

  116. in the right pitch. Some of you are pitch per fect,

  117. but you can't you can't stand it?

  118. When when? When? When a pronunciation is all? What happened?

  119. If the speaker's slides got a lot of grammar mistakes

  120. like today some of you, I'm serious, right, I tell

  121. her to confess again. My wife helped me to prepare

  122. the slights. Every page you got to see has been

  123. I think I sent to her asked to help me

  124. to correct my grammar because I know when I'm tired,

  125. my grammar's out of the window. And friends, all right,

  126. but getting out from what's familiar to what's not familiar. Friends,

  127. and God wants to bring us into a place. God

  128. will always give us an opportunity, come on, opportunity for

  129. hearts to be tested.

  130. Hallelujah, Praise Lord.

  131. Our hearts will be given opportunity to go to a test,

  132. to go to a test, and even though Isaac was

  133. a promised friends, come on, Isaac was a promise from

  134. God to Abraham.

  135. But Abraham still need to go to the test.

  136. Come on, Isaac was a promise, But abrahams you have

  137. to go through the test. And some of times in

  138. our life when we pray for a break tough, when

  139. we pray for something that we wanted so much and

  140. God come true for us. God came true for you,

  141. provided you with a job. My job will be tested

  142. even that relationship. God, Please, I did a life partner

  143. and God came to and opened her eyes to see.

  144. There are people around that are still singer in church,

  145. and you'll satt the day.

  146. Think.

  147. We have seen many times people get involved with relationship

  148. while the first thing that goes out the window is

  149. the commitment to the Lord. They are commitment to the Lord. Friends,

  150. and many times our journey friends, whatever we pray for,

  151. God will always bring that to a test. One preacher

  152. put it this way, what happened you think about it?

  153. What happened if Abraham offer up Isaac and Isaac did

  154. not return, Well, Abraham still follow the Lord. Now, why

  155. if you offer up something to the Lord, pray for

  156. or break through and didn't where we still follow the Lord?

  157. And sometimes I'm afraid that you know that we may

  158. not because the disappointment is so real, the heurd could

  159. be very real. You will pray and hoping for God

  160. to come true, but God responds in another way. Will

  161. we still follow Christ of God? Or when when we

  162. don't get answered?

  163. Every one? What is the purpose of a test? Come on?

  164. It's to reveal to the person that who is being tested.

  165. Come on the test. The exam is not every exam

  166. we go to. It's not the test teach you know.

  167. It's to help the individual who's going to the test

  168. to reveal what's insight.

  169. Come on, what's inside? And many times.

  170. Say God, please, I don't be tested. If you don't

  171. go to the test, how do you know what you

  172. have insight? We all say that we want, we want.

  173. The word is that commitment, But the commitment has to

  174. be tested, have to be tested.

  175. Come on, have to be tested. Some of us here

  176. could be younger.

  177. But one day you take care of your parents, you

  178. would and when you take care of your parents' friends, see,

  179. I love my parents a lot. But one day, when

  180. you take care of your parents, that love will be tested.

  181. I'm staying with my dad right now. Just let you know, Okay,

  182. I want to set the record straight here. My house

  183. is going to repair and renovation, repairs and renovation. It's

  184. a long story started in February now supposed to be ended.

  185. But you know, one day the local counselor came by

  186. and just say, you know, one of the neighbors complaining

  187. and the stuff that I was doing everything internal, but

  188. no problem. I went, I went something on my application.

  189. So in the meantime, I have to move out from

  190. my house. So when I move off from my house,

  191. I told my wife, I said, I tell you what,

  192. None of our parents place are conducive for both party

  193. to stay together, this same place we left our parents

  194. place twenty years ago, and now having to move back,

  195. I'm saying my dad right now, my wife is staying

  196. with her set of parents. It's very different, very different

  197. staying with my dad right now. My dad's staying alone.

  198. My mom passed away two years ago. I finally understood

  199. why he couldn't clear this house. He comes back from

  200. from from church meetings to just fall asleep on the

  201. couch and stuff like that, offering me fruits to eat

  202. at eleven thirty at night in LA got banana for you?

  203. I want to say, no, it's okaynot I just want

  204. to eat la because it's say I'm eating fruits at

  205. such late night. I would go sleep at four thirty

  206. in the morning, and then my my first assignment is

  207. at five am in the morning. So how and I

  208. sleep last the whole day? The commitment, friends will be tested.

  209. Tested.

  210. I sat down with my dad said, I tell you what,

  211. I'm going to clean the house. Okay, but why the

  212. house allot of stuff? Or you're still around. I can

  213. ask you whether I can give it away, through away

  214. or move it out. The commitment will be tested friends.

  215. No commitment friends in our life won't go to a test.

  216. Even your commitment to one another will be tested. Would

  217. you hold on tweet?

  218. Not friends?

  219. So I let you though, So I'm I did not

  220. argue with my wife always saying separate place. All right,

  221. this is what everyone needed to know. Okay, just in

  222. case that you're thinking someone else I was reading when

  223. we was so the puss John Lin from asking up

  224. all that I'm not staying with my wife.

  225. You call it what please be look one more month? Okay,

  226. that's it.

  227. A moving move back to go to morning after that,

  228. I'm saying, my wife rust Now I'm going back to

  229. my dating this afterward.

  230. What's it, Daniel, this would move on?

  231. Okay, just your wife is asking you to take it

  232. for a date, all right, noted.

  233. Notably? Thanks, right, Yeah, so it's like dating.

  234. Afterward, I go out from Macca together and send him

  235. back the churrass. I go back to Pucho. The days

  236. when I go to Pucho to pick up, go to

  237. Charice to pick up early in the morning, and come

  238. to work in the same car. I was like, nine,

  239. understand why if you want to date this date when

  240. you're young, when you're older friends when you're older, and

  241. it is a difference, So I go ahead. It is

  242. so far side trick trick, Okay, sorry, everything went all right.

  243. So once the purpose of a test is to review

  244. to the person who's being tested. God really knows her

  245. heart in Luke chapter sixty or fifteen, God already knows

  246. her heart. But the questions, do we even know what's

  247. in our heart? Do we even know how deep it's

  248. our commitment? How they say that's not how deep is

  249. your love?

  250. Right?

  251. Do we even though we say that, Lord, I'm committed

  252. to you, right, But do we understand the commitment to

  253. the Lord? Not? We say God, if you can use anyone,

  254. use me and God we spoke to you. Go for

  255. missions conference, Oh Lord, canno be you Lord, because missions

  256. conference is so far, I think, go to the community.

  257. They want me to go all the way to Bookie

  258. Jalo far Lord.

  259. But yet at the same time we can go to

  260. Coplate Conservations next door. Now I'm not saying praise Lord.

  261. I know ex Coman Bay Holy one a right they

  262. do go Copley all right, and said so problems Seventystreet.

  263. The refining part is for silver and furnished for go hallelujah.

  264. But the Lord texts the hearts of these friends Stiller

  265. and go precious, come on true or not? Precious? Have

  266. not seen American couple. And on the wedding day when

  267. look at the wedding ring, what is your wedding ringer

  268. the Cca cola?

  269. Can you know what I mean? You just preak it up.

  270. It's a no, It's it's still where it goes, precious friends,

  271. even though it's precious unless it goes through that refining process.

  272. The value it's there but it's not maximized. Come on,

  273. not maximize, not the fullness of it. But when Sue

  274. and God goes through the process and become purified, friends,

  275. the value goes up. And sometimes in our lives, Friends,

  276. we have to go to it because God knows and

  277. understand our capacity. Friends, if it would allow God to

  278. just even come in, you'll be amazed at what you

  279. could do for the Lord. I got another message I

  280. spoke a couple of weeks ago, and another just plan.

  281. We always say we want to expand to the left

  282. and to the right, true or not. We love the

  283. expansion of the left to the right. And you know

  284. we love the hit to be hit another tail, true

  285. or not. We love those scriptures. We claim it, sometimes

  286. we confess it. But before all that can come to pass.

  287. In Asia, I think fifty four, there's a part in

  288. the second published scriptures say enlarge your tent and all

  289. of us don't have a problem. We unlash our mindset.

  290. You know, we go for different things we true or not,

  291. we go for different things. We there's a published scripture

  292. that says that let them stretch out the curtains of

  293. your dwelling, Let them stretch out the curtains of your dwelling.

  294. I just.

  295. Extally you could you help me out? I think Isaiah

  296. fifty four wards two. I just need to point this

  297. out to you. Let them stretch out the curtains of

  298. your dwelling many times in our life, many times in

  299. our life and our journey. Friends, we love the word

  300. and launch the place of that. Come on, who doesn't

  301. want a bigger space? Come on, who doesn't want a

  302. slightly bigger car? We love that, right and well, we

  303. love then latch one of our tents. Friends, come on,

  304. take about the scripture, say and let them stretch you out.

  305. I'm not sure how many of us sales will allow

  306. them into our life to be stretched. Come on, I'm

  307. not sure how many of us will say, God, would

  308. you use them to stretch me so that my curtains,

  309. my curtains will.

  310. Be spread out.

  311. And in our journey friends, we need to have them

  312. in our life by going bye bye, by saying God,

  313. would you allow them?

  314. When we go to the field. If you've been to

  315. the mission field.

  316. I'm sorry, always say, elder, stop preaching about missions. I'm

  317. going to preach about missions today. When you go to

  318. the mission field, friends, when you say I'm go for

  319. missions that you can't say, I'm not going with Chillan,

  320. I'm not going with chur and therefore I cannot serve

  321. in the chewous ministry. First, you are the Jewish minister

  322. that they. You are the worship leader that they. You

  323. also are the preacher that they. You also need to

  324. minister the old folks that they. You are everything Swiss

  325. army night for the Lord, Hallelujah, Praise Jesus.

  326. We can't say that God, I'm not trained.

  327. And God has never asked us to be trained in

  328. that manner. God say, just serve and I will show up.

  329. Just serve and I will show up. If you go

  330. to the few friends, your ministers, to gangsters or the

  331. Philippines pala one opportunity to be there with a pastor

  332. over there, say very first, I want you to preach

  333. in front of us a crowd of four with fifty students.

  334. I didn't know what to do.

  335. I'm never the biggest I spoke to back then, was

  336. only twenty five to fifty people.

  337. I would church back then was small.

  338. I called passer back then, Okay, basis before into that days,

  339. I say, pastor. They asked me to do it? Can

  340. I just tell them? Do I don't want to do it?

  341. Not I say no, you're sittting there. They asked you

  342. to do what you just go ahead and do. I

  343. was so nervous. Friends, it's very different to preh a

  344. very familiar crowd, very different to presh to people that

  345. you have you don't even know. They feel like throwing

  346. their textbook at you. I felt that way and I

  347. was standing there, didn't know what to do. Have to

  348. ask God, would you come to Then it comes to food, friends,

  349. the food offered to you sometimes in our journey, in

  350. our life, right, we only eat eat hot piping food.

  351. If you understand what I'm trying to say, hot pipeople

  352. My wife grew up that way when she married me.

  353. Or food became cold after that because by the time

  354. you come back, I'm very used to it because I

  355. grew up with a working family my wife normally it's

  356. out all the time.

  357. So at the field at.

  358. Philippines, I was offered a steamfish that was prepared three

  359. hours ago, and after the ministry we went there. They

  360. serve a thousand island dressing on top of the steamfish.

  361. So we were like, oh, yes, thousand island dressing on

  362. the steamfish. Most if you talk about safish, you always

  363. see how why not right? See yo, and stuff like that.

  364. This is thousands island dressing. If you do not know

  365. what the taste, try us small peace. Trust me you

  366. would grow to appreciate every steamfish that come out with

  367. so yourself. After that, it was a fish that I

  368. thought I saw suit, assuming it was an item. I

  369. went to the Philippines. Friends, just let them stretch out

  370. the contagy of their dwellings. You say, God, please test us.

  371. Sometimes tests involves others stretching us. You say, we can

  372. go to a test by ourself because it's between us

  373. and the Lord. But when God puts you in the

  374. team in the church, other people are stretching you out.

  375. Friends, I pray that you still love Jesus.

  376. I pray you will not be disappointed with another brother

  377. or sis say in Christ, I pray say that, Lord,

  378. I understand what you're doing right now.

  379. Lord, help me see the purpose of the test is.

  380. To reveal, we say, God and I got the frill

  381. of the spirit, love, peace and joy. That love pieces

  382. and joy declaration will be tested when you go to

  383. a traffic jam and someone cuts in your lane, especially

  384. with the bumper stickers right in front of that love Jesus,

  385. I'm not sure how many over silk can can still

  386. hold on to a conviction or not when you are

  387. disappointed all the way go to boogie jalu just to

  388. hear back the same thing, go for missions. I'm not

  389. sure how many overse seal we still hold a conviction

  390. whereby when we serve there is no recognition. God wants

  391. to test our hearts. I got to go on, friends,

  392. if the furnace is used to remove the impurity that's

  393. in cil, how much more has is to go to

  394. the furnace of affliction and suffering? If come on, if

  395. the furnace is used to remove impurity that's in the silver,

  396. how much more our hearts to go to the fest

  397. of affliction? One translation for us the furness of suffering.

  398. Furll this of suffering. Come on, none of us is

  399. off of suffrequent workshop A let's say workshop B relationship

  400. workshop see furnish of suffering. That will be the least

  401. attendant on friends. I understand that friends, none of us

  402. here is abscribed to that by friends? God bring us

  403. to this to reveal missions is one of the avenue

  404. God used for a heart to be tested. One of

  405. the avenue that God used for a heart to be tested.

  406. That's why sometimes God will encourage us go sign up

  407. be a part of it. God will always use what

  408. God has given to the church. You heard past it's

  409. a serious messages. Now I really want to encourage you.

  410. Please please comfort it. We told them, please share your

  411. story on the field, because trust me, you have not heard.

  412. You have not heard all of it.

  413. There's so many stories that we have portrayed him for

  414. Balla to share with us about his time in the

  415. power and how right now he's known as the uh

  416. the ghost bustard over there basically got love love deliverance

  417. has taken place. They called him a pusser. We come

  418. to my house, come to my house as evil spirit there.

  419. They don't what to do.

  420. Got people climbing up the wall as well and stuff

  421. like that, and puss prayed and the guy got delivered.

  422. The only story is not just to frighten us or

  423. anything like, just to tell us friends, the people out

  424. there that needs really need the gospel, really need the gospel.

  425. Submissions were that everything the Gods We's going to use

  426. to test our hearts, right, I got to go.

  427. On, all right, it is and we are.

  428. It's when we are removed from what's familiar and comfortable

  429. to earth that will cause it has to be challenged.

  430. Removed from what's familiar and comfortable that's in our life

  431. that caused it has to be challenged. In the mission field.

  432. We will be called the serf in areas where we

  433. haven't served before.

  434. But we we used to serve. I'm very comfortable as hosts.

  435. But can you worship?

  436. No?

  437. I cannot, I cannot.

  438. We will be called the worship alongside with them dressed differently,

  439. sing different songs, and they will speaking a different language.

  440. But can we still worship? Can we still worship? I

  441. shall this?

  442. Before I went for a Passes gathering and most fastive gathering,

  443. we won't have someone most passive can sing in Kila

  444. except for pass Andra and a few that's the one

  445. from the Lord Halley.

  446. Yeah, but majority of us here are with the normal

  447. karaoke voice. Right.

  448. And and when we worship the lot, friends, you're not

  449. singing peace. You just want to worship the Lord. But

  450. when I was there one past his fellowship, I remember

  451. the passes where I started singing I Love your Lord,

  452. and didn't go in any key at all.

  453. She just said with all heart.

  454. I just when she started singing, Friends, I'm gonna let

  455. you know I wasn't moved by the spirit. Would just

  456. move by the spirit of laughter. Seriously, I wanted to

  457. laugh so loud because I thought I sing bad. But

  458. this is next level. Seriously, there was this one. It

  459. was next level. And I saw Passal was beside me.

  460. Pass I was close worshiping.

  461. I was there. I were like, try very hard.

  462. Friends, you know when we are so the one is

  463. that we become so professional in our worship. If you understand,

  464. if pass then off the whole time. The instrument key

  465. and the woker keys are totally very different. We will

  466. be very distracted throughout the whole worship.

  467. Won't be.

  468. God, Please don't try. You know, we'd be very distracted.

  469. Won't be We would be right. But yet what happened.

  470. If you're in an environment or situation or church plant,

  471. worship is like that.

  472. Worship is like that. It's like going for homes.

  473. Some of your homes are blessed with great worship leader,

  474. but some of homes is you know, we do worship leader.

  475. We love guitarists. We only a few people coming together,

  476. yet we are very comfortable doing this in a carooke room.

  477. But we can we still worship the Lord. So I

  478. was there and God spoke to me.

  479. You know, these people here may not have much, but

  480. they send me their hearts, send me their hearts. Have

  481. to ask for forgiveness that day because I was, I

  482. really tried very hard not to laugh. I really try

  483. not to giggle. I was tying my shoelaces all the

  484. time to the past the guests of laughter. But can

  485. we still worship if they sing differently? If we keep

  486. saying no to be tested, when we will ever, when

  487. our hearts ever get tested? If we keeps saying no,

  488. God tests someone else, God tested, when we're hearts be tested?

  489. If we keep saying no to serving, where our hearts

  490. be tested? If we keeps saying no to missions, when

  491. will our hearts be tested? If we keep saying no

  492. to God, when will our hearts be tested? A test

  493. that we choose, it's not really a test. Come on,

  494. A test that we choose is not really a test.

  495. But elder, you must understand I'm already a test. A

  496. test that we choose not really a test. It's not

  497. really a test, friends, because God tests involves obedience.

  498. Come on.

  499. God's test always involves obedience, always involves faith, always involved

  500. commitment and sometimes our journey, friends, our journey right of testing.

  501. There is no obedience in it, no obedience in the test.

  502. That's why when people have a brick schure of friends,

  503. have a brick schoo on her. No matter how tough

  504. the challenge is, you now go back the same again

  505. one friends, God's tests always involved obedience. That's why when

  506. the when Jesus said the temper the rich people give

  507. out of the bundance, he didn't say the British people

  508. was doing it wrong.

  509. They're just giving.

  510. But it was a leading with the two mics that

  511. gave out of all that she had for the Lord.

  512. Some of us here could be new to church. When

  513. our church first started, friends, pastors had to say no

  514. to a lot of speaking engagement, no to a lot

  515. of speaking engagement, just to grow the church, they said,

  516. although there was so so after speaker, But if not

  517. being around for church on a Sunday is very hard

  518. to grow church, very hard to grow church, and passes it.

  519. I'm so sorry that I got a church right now,

  520. I can't take out any speaking engagement. And that's how

  521. Passes have stayed in his livelihood through the speaking engagement

  522. and first five seven years.

  523. No cannot.

  524. The church needs me. Painful as it sounds, we will

  525. have to trust a lot painful and is friends, we

  526. have to trust a lot. What have God's been speaking

  527. to us? Friends, I've God's been speaking to you regarding obedience,

  528. commitment and faith.

  529. Point number two is now point. It is today's respond

  530. their matters and not yesterday's to tomorrow. Now the end.

  531. Now is today's response that matters, not yesterday or tomorrow.

  532. Many Christian leave on yesterday's commitment. God, I have served

  533. you before right sufficient. But God's asking now because in

  534. Genesis chapter twenty two wards two, say is this that there?

  535. He said, take now your son, not take yesterday, not

  536. take tomorrow, Take now your son. Friends, our response today

  537. really matters because now is your alive. We can make

  538. a decision because we really don't know what tomorrow hosts.

  539. But we cannot live in yesterday's commitment. Friends, Today we

  540. always have a choice to response to the Lord. Today

  541. we have opportunity to read the Bible. Would you read

  542. today we have apportuned to turn our Bible. Will we

  543. still turned to the word of the Lord, not to yesterday.

  544. Yesterday we can spend what you're on Netflix, but today

  545. you have a choice. You have a choice today, friends,

  546. take now your son.

  547. The power is in the responding immediately now. Always involves action.

  548. You know, if you're growing up back in the eighties, friends,

  549. we have internet and all we have was TV, which

  550. between eight to night the day, that's where the TV

  551. program is. That's where TV series like air Move will

  552. come out. Okay, Expo to company a very young right,

  553. you don't know, eighteen right right right right, night Rider

  554. rite all those stuff the day and first the day,

  555. that's when mom and dad will clean up the kitchen,

  556. right and and and and and we set the kitchen

  557. for the next day. Parents, somehow rather always know when

  558. the council moment of the TV series is one they know,

  559. and the council moment of every TV series they always

  560. actually take on the trash. They're always as you take

  561. out the trash, not during the ever spend time not

  562. doing It's the time whereby the council moment, the excitement

  563. is going to happen. The break to moment you just

  564. want to wash because you build up the excitement already,

  565. Sun take out the trash, same mom way for ever disponse.

  566. Have you ever tell your parents away for every dispad

  567. when you take it out? And you know what the

  568. response is, isn't it when mom or dad says take

  569. it out? It has to be done now? Now?

  570. At what point if you delayed the woice get louder

  571. true or not?

  572. If you delay a bit more, not just the wise,

  573. get loud the way, but the TV will be turned off?

  574. Now involves action. Many times you make commitment to the

  575. law without action. God, I will serve you if you

  576. deliver me from this, I will serve you. Now always

  577. involves action, friends, And many times in our journey we

  578. don't put action.

  579. To our commitment. We don't put.

  580. Action to what we believe in, and we always live

  581. in a place whereby our declaration is enough. Our Christian

  582. faith is not just about declaration. Too many Christians live

  583. on declaration. I mean you say that now before you

  584. get baptized. Right, do you believe that Jesus Christ your

  585. personal life savior? Yes, I do, on the form that

  586. you feel Christian? But what does it really mean, is

  587. this this sufficient that I see have Christian or the

  588. form that we feel we can put our faith there.

  589. There has to be more than it, because if we're

  590. just living for decoration, ma'sel God gives us a lot

  591. helo after we received jip Asla and Savior.

  592. I'm a Christian right now?

  593. You know, have you seen those car that picks up

  594. a newspaper, all newspaper paper? I'm all right, then it

  595. will be the other way. I am a Christian. I

  596. accept Christ. We live by declaration, but not by demonstration.

  597. And many times God wants us to demonstrate what we

  598. believe in. We say we have faith. Where was last

  599. that we demonstrate faith? You're still living? Right?

  600. Okay? Still come back to excot the comaning.

  601. Right. We have decoration, but no demonstration. Friends, and God

  602. wants us to demonstrate our faith. Come on, we are

  603. able body. We can demonstrate our faith. And that's why

  604. we say that when you can't go. I know, the

  605. oldest missionary I know was eighty something. I think he

  606. went somewher Central Asia. The daughter was so afraid that

  607. something happened to that, and sure enough she took all

  608. the insurance and something did happen to that, and the

  609. mission field is Central Asia. Just to organize the whole

  610. thing for him to come back. She ran through the

  611. whole book. But yet at eighty something, this man say

  612. our use of Jesus ex Germany starting and Dorries are

  613. in the sixties, late sixties or midi sixties or something,

  614. said God.

  615. There's no such we think as retirement.

  616. I will still start the church for you if you're

  617. asked to start some of us here, come on, majority

  618. of us he are below sixties or even you are

  619. their sixties. You don't even look like sixty. And we

  620. can still serve the Lord of friends. Our faith is

  621. more than just declaration. There must be demonstration. When was

  622. the last time we say yes to God? When was

  623. the last time we say yes to God? But although

  624. you don't understand, I've been giving to the Lord. Please God,

  625. We love people, are generous. But yet at the same

  626. time God is speaking to us. Maybe you can serve

  627. in another capacity as well. We we live in a

  628. modern day whereby coming to church right now, it's an option.

  629. There's there's live streaming and those who are watching lie

  630. I'm not I'm not hitting out at you. But when

  631. we when there's an opportunity to come to church.

  632. When we come, we come to church, there's opportunity to

  633. go to homes. Of Friday.

  634. Now I know, I'm said Friday something traffic jam, different

  635. job commitment, and said that all.

  636. Right, But when you can, when you can, would your moment,

  637. when you can.

  638. The declaration, when you can be time, I say, passida,

  639. I can make it for homes. I will be there

  640. for hopes or that one Friday when your boss has

  641. to do anything extra. Finally a unicorn Friday. But you

  642. know you got homes, but their unicorn Friday is so precious,

  643. so precious, And you finally realize I got time to

  644. watch the pool.

  645. And say pasadeniel bye, bye bye. Sorry. You have to

  646. put it in right.

  647. Too. Maybe by giving themselves reasons why they cannot act

  648. on it now to maybe I'm giving themselves reasons why

  649. they cannot act on it now. Psalms ninety five, verse seven.

  650. The night for his is our God. Come on, and

  651. we are the people of his pasture, the shape of

  652. his hands today. If we hear his voice today, if

  653. God's speaking to you today, if you know that God's

  654. convicting your heart.

  655. Do not come on.

  656. Do you know what okay, ex got comaning, I just

  657. need fifteen more minutes of your heart. Do not hawden

  658. your hearts as in the rebellion, as the days of

  659. trials of waderness. When your father tested me. They tried

  660. me though they saw my work the tune of ISAs

  661. your friends saw the move of God, saw God's provision,

  662. God's delivers Yet at the same time, friends, when God

  663. asked them to move and God asked to move, they

  664. could not.

  665. I'm the first generation Christian and family. I remember going

  666. from my very.

  667. First youth camp, five nights, four days in Sitiawan Pera.

  668. I came back from kem all excited. All the words revived.

  669. That's what CAM does to using it. You can were revived.

  670. We want to serve the law. I remember. I came back, Oh, excited,

  671. just want to do God's work. My mom pulls me up,

  672. say don't you ever go to full time ministry. I

  673. will beat you up. I will beat you up and

  674. lo and behome. Fifteen or twenty years later, I decided

  675. to answer the call. It was as simple as God.

  676. If you can use anyone, whould you use me? And

  677. the journey is always going to be these friends. Never easy, never,

  678. never rosy never or the word is you can make

  679. you can, you can plan up, plan A, B and C.

  680. But with God, friends, the journey is always going to

  681. be testing, testing, testing, And sometimes you hear the word

  682. testing friends, you go like, how do we.

  683. How do we act on it?

  684. Now? By saying more yes to God? We keep saying

  685. yes to God because our heart needs it. I'm going

  686. to close it fifteen minutes. We keep saying yes to

  687. God because our heart needs it. The more we say no,

  688. it has to be hadden. The more we say no

  689. to God, our hearts to be hardened. Can I be

  690. very honest to you? EXK got the commaning. I'll had

  691. this conversation I think with another elder. I was just

  692. saying that, you know now, I mean my fifth I'm

  693. closer to one more year to fifty, one more year

  694. to fifty, praise hallelu jeah. One more year to fifty,

  695. and I'm thirty thirty to four years to leave right,

  696. one more year to fifty. I was just talking to them,

  697. you know now of this age, so gring I never

  698. understood why parents.

  699. Parents are warm.

  700. Christian parents are little warm, not interested But now when

  701. I see my contemporary people of my age who are

  702. parents and who takes church as not like just another

  703. event on the Sunday, I begin to understand why why

  704. sometimes the children will come up. But why When I

  705. was young, I never understood it. Yeah, your parents are Christian, Yeah,

  706. but not weally don't fire you. Could you imagine, yeah,

  707. my parents really don't fire you right. Never understood it. Now,

  708. being older, I finally understood why. It's the choices that

  709. we make. It's not because it's a choice that make

  710. The more we say no, cannot As I close, I

  711. don't think I can build the fisher slides. The more

  712. we use the term let me pray about it, let

  713. me think about it. The more we say that this

  714. is not my gifting. More put, your hearts becomes hardened

  715. in due time, becomes hardened in due time where nothing

  716. excites us anymore? Why you say ex sexist in serving back? Then,

  717. the more know we say doesn't really expects us. I'm

  718. not sure where you are with your journey. As I

  719. close right now, I don't think I can finish the point.

  720. The more know we say, cannot mintion who is here?

  721. I remember one time he was sharing this. He first

  722. came to our children and he was a campus student.

  723. And this statement.

  724. You always remember this say that, you know, we say

  725. just jump and worry about it about it later because

  726. we've God. It's never about one hundred percent plan X

  727. go to company. Just want to let you know when

  728. when we started renovating this place, we did we only

  729. have one of one fourth of the money something I

  730. had for this place. But we knew that God calls

  731. us here and whoever got called this, he was supplied

  732. for our needs surely, but late never late on time

  733. dealing with the management here. The old GM left, you know,

  734. new GYM took over. Then after there was something about

  735. the old GM was supposed to update the management but

  736. didn't anyway, Just to cut the long story short, the

  737. ship the test me we all that was they say that, hey,

  738. you there was a wave of renter for the first

  739. four months because of the extent of renovation permits and

  740. stuff like that, but there wasn't captured by the management.

  741. So they gave us a statement of cows and know

  742. the late interest payment and stuff like that.

  743. So we just explained to that, I say, hey, this

  744. is this is the.

  745. Conversation I had with there, you know, the management dishornor

  746. whatever the previous GM did, because we really don't know

  747. what's happening is out there. So it's been protective for

  748. almost like half a year, be writing to them stuff that.

  749. So we still met the assistant GM over here show

  750. the place.

  751. She was like, wow, you.

  752. Guys really turn this place around. So yeah, the church

  753. me here on Sunday. We have a blue room on

  754. the other side.

  755. Stuff.

  756. That very amazing what we do as a church. I

  757. don't see any cross here. I say, we don't always

  758. need to put a cross and know that we are

  759. Christian by what we do you should know. But how

  760. do you sustain all this? She's a Critians. I say,

  761. all these years of twenty five years of doing church,

  762. God will always come to for us. We just have

  763. to say, yes, start the blue room. But where are

  764. the people coming? Why white got to company? You want

  765. to start a ministry for of all places you think

  766. about it, right, think about it? Why go to communing?

  767. Why not something more densely populated? Right?

  768. God causes here, He will come to for us, and

  769. he'll make away. Cat shot.

  770. Just receive a text, Hey all your outstting it's going

  771. to be zero rized, and you know, measure then all

  772. the previous thing because you really don't know what's happening.

  773. And we surrender to the lost. Say lord, if this

  774. is yours, then you're sharing by way. And just let

  775. you know right that the tree you see outside, you're

  776. gonna see a huge figuring in the coming days. I

  777. heard there's gonna be a big king cong they could

  778. put outside there. I say, why would you do? Okay,

  779. please make sure the king comes not at this level, Okay,

  780. because I don't want to see the king koons bum

  781. bum Right. Anyway, we had a good laugh, right, But

  782. I just want to share this you only because the

  783. more the more we keep saying no, you'll never fully

  784. understand what.

  785. God can do to you and for you.

  786. I'm not sure where you are with your journeys like

  787. Closer and White Pasaden. You're up on stage, young man.

  788. Oh I wrote down just now. I honestly I was

  789. in tears this starting worship. I just wrote down this statement.

  790. If we knew how long that we have come on church,

  791. if we knew how long they we have, how long

  792. that we have in life, with the knowledge, how would

  793. it change your life. If we knew how long they

  794. we have, how would it change your life? How will

  795. we change your outlaw of life? Because many times we

  796. think very far, but if we knew how long that

  797. we have, how would we change your life? Would you

  798. allow God more into your life? Because by saying having

  799. a relationship with God, God brings you to a journey.

  800. That journey friends, to us, it's the journey. But God

  801. knows what he wants to do in our life. That's

  802. why he always brings us to a test. Even the

  803. blessing that we have from the Lord will always go

  804. to the test. Maybe you're looking a dolls, pray for

  805. a good job, well paying job, and the job fram

  806. you're always going to be your test because when God

  807. calls you and speaks to you and asks you not

  808. just about money, about tithing, but ask you to serve.

  809. Would you go for missions? But God, cand you said,

  810. I'm giving a ready. Friends, the test wasn't in the giving.

  811. The test wasn't about just bringing Isaac. The test is

  812. about offering up Isaac and the author at too many

  813. Christians I know just bring Isaac along in their journey,

  814. but never offering up How would you change our life?

  815. We know how long we have. Because I'm with the

  816. knowledge fairs, I can guarantee all of us here. If

  817. we know how long we have, all decision will be

  818. very different, very different.

  819. I just give you a.

  820. Point test now. And finally, Isaac is about worship. At

  821. the end of the day, are we worshiping the Isaacs

  822. in our life? Or are we worshiping the Lord? Are

  823. we worshiping the Isaac in the life? Are we worshiping

  824. the Lord?

  825. God is not about God doesn't need our Isaac.

  826. He just needs our hearts as a close her friends,

  827. my heart just goes off for love of us here.

  828. Who almost as a worship breakthrough.

  829. But we keep saying no to God, saying God, maybe

  830. some another day, maybe tomorrow.

  831. You know that God's been speaking to.

  832. Your heart for the loveless time, not mere watching online.

  833. God's been speaking to you as well for the longest time.

  834. God's been nudging you know what you need to do

  835. with friends. But the rest is not with the church.
