You're listening to a message to go from at church.

We hope this message will light up your tea this morning.

Being missional is not just for professionals. It is for

every one of us. And being missional means doing everything

as unto the Lord, not just when you go and

preach outside there, but everything that we do, we have

to do it as unto the Lord. So let's turn

to closures, Chapter three, verses twenty three to twenty four.

Closure Chapter three, verses twenty three to twenty four. And

all the rate words that I've highlighted, I want you

to say it. Okay ready, are you ready? Want to go?

And this whatever? It is not like what young people.

You know, when you talk to your young parents, say

something to you young people, they use it whatever they

want to be American now whatever you know. So I'm like,

that's not the whatever, Okay, the whatever? Here is everything? Okay,

It's about the Lord. Knowing that from the Lord you

will receive what how many of you like reward? A

lost this idea of faithfulness to a company. You know.

I have a neighbor uncle Chinese uncle and same company

fifty years, same company. He has never left to another

company in his life, same company. So I said, Uncle,

their boss the boss face not so nice, they change company.

Uncle worked fifty years. Nowadays they work fifty hours then

change companies or maybe fifty days. Like give them chance.

if the company is not good, then I understand now.

But some of them they just change jobs for a paycheck.

You know, they don't see the purpose. They don't see

the calling. They don't see that. When they pray, they say,

God gave me this job, but fifty days later God

gave another job. Do you think God is fickle minded?

Don't use God's name in Vena. See. I work with people,

so I know they work with people. They also know,

but they don't say because they love you. I say,

because I love you and I don't need to be here.

Do you understand my life is easier? I just say it.

Problem is yes, But I have to speak the truth. Huh.

We have to understand. If God places in a place,

it is for us to make the place better, not

make it worse. Romans says Ah. Beforehand, God knew where

to place. You know, I am not in Malaysia because

my great grandfather came here. God knew that I need

I've been a missionary.

I know.

You know how amazing it is when you have someone

from home come bring some white coffee or whatever they like,

not what you like, so they can make it at

home and then drink while you're in Japan, but for them,

you know, like teams from Malaysia visit us in Nepal,

they bring chia chong fun, pinangue and chalk with y'all

freeze it, they deep freeze it. They pack it in

you know the you know, the sidop home boxes and

bring it with them. Because my wife's favorite food is

Peenang tea chong fun, not the Hong Kong Hong kong.

When I'll see how you know, so it is the

There are certain religions they say they are a religion

of peace, but they do not understand what is forgiveness.

is one of the most difficult things. Yes, I tell start.

You know. You see, I grew up under a Baptist pastor.

Obviously I've never been to outside of a Baptist church

in my life. I mean when I say never been,

means you know, be part of a church. But for

us our home church in Klis, Ex Church. Okay, most

of our young people we always sent to ex Church

for the last twenty plus years, and so this is

my second home. But I've always only been in a

Baptist church, never outside of a Baptist church. And my

pastor was very old, and so I wanted to help him.

He was doing some ministry. I was ready to pass

on the church to my next generation of leaders. I

called him in. I told my next generation of leaders,

please take care of them him and you know, try

to create something for him to bless him. He's in

his seventies. But the dear old man did something that

really broke my heart, and he broke the church. I

was so upset and angry. Here I am trying to

help you. You come and do something to subbortuch whatever.

And you are a pastor, you are a spiritual father.

For me, it's like a father going into the son's

family and destroy the son's marriage. Do you understand what

I'm saying? Very painful. It took me a long time,

every time see him, money angry, every time see him

on the slap, until the Lord had to ask me

one day, would you slap your father? He said, I

love my dad. I love my dad to bits. But

he passed away many many years ago. You know when

I couldn't afford to bless him. It was an amazing man.

My dad was just an amazing man. You know. I

had a great dad. And so when that question, when

the Holy Spirit asked me, Jesus, he's not a perfect pastor,

la he did He's he's full of mistakes. I everything

I learned from him was what I should not do

as a pastor. And I'm very thankful to him because

I don't have to make the mistakes, and so why

do I need to hold that grudge? I cannot say

anything good about him during that time, anybody mentioned the

How far have you strayed away from? Looking like Christ?

Christian faith. We all have to learn to forgive. You

know why the Malaysian Church is so effective with the

majority people because we cannot forgive. We are so afraid

the year I was born. So you're not even born

whenever we have talked about them. Ah ye, lazy one,

ah stupid one. My dear Malaysians. If we don't forgive,

we are far away from Christ. Are you here with me?

We can come to church, we can sit sing all

kinds of songs we want to sing. But if we

don't learn to forgive, we are far off from Christ,

and we are far off from our missional call. We

are far off from being a sort and a light.

I pray today, something happens in your heart. Amen. Then

people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

You're doing it as unto the Lord. When you'd work

properly in your company, people will say you borday, try

All these workers change company, but you stay there. You

work hard, you want to bring a change. You be

kind to your boss. They say this one trying to

find promotion next year. That's why kind to the boss.

I want to say this to you. There's a lot

of negative voices, but listen to the voice of Christ.

Be kind anyway. You know there's a Malay saying Wu

wu dang lobster. Make it bigger, because that's what Jesus

kinds of things. But that's my greatest joy. You know,

to succeed one but the new generation, I don't know.

I'm sorry. I have to tell you the truth because

I grew up with the older generation, the fathers, and

don't give They got money, but they won't give anything

from our own good. And pastors and leaders are placed

in churches, spiritual heads and spiritual parents to guide us

with the word and to speak the truth. If we're

going to be missional, we got to speak the truth.

How to tell the gospel without speaking the truth? How

are you going to bellow hello, Kenna? It will be false.

Teaching truth is truth. The truth will set you free.

So in the church we have to have that mindset.

The truth sets us free. And I want to pray

that all fear of men be broken over the leadership

of the church in Jesus' name, because sometimes we are

so scared. You say I passed us. Pastors pastor people

already very hard. Pastor pastors is a nightmare, and I

have to tell them the truth. And Baptist pastes they're

all older than me. That's why I got no hair.

They got white hair, I got no hair. I have

to tell them the truth. That yo see the face

when he's Canady. But sometimes I have to tell them

the truth. Friends, what is Jesus asking you to do

as unto the Lord? Everything that you do, you do

it as unto the Lord. Next, what you spend years building,

someone can destroy over night. What's the answer? You don't

Bible says you are a builder. In Proverbs it says

women are builders. Women women in the house, can you

put up your right hand? Women are builders? But aha,

a family is a woman. The strength of the church

is also woman by if a church split can also

Women are important, so are men. We are all designed

created to build. So when a man has a woman

pray for a woman who knows how to build. I

It's very important. You mess up in that you're not

going anywhere. Your life is going to be in circles.

So even if people destroy what you build, you build anyway.

Some of you. God is speaking to you today. You

stop building. You say I don't serve in the church

anymore because I got hurt in the children ministry. You

hurt my wife sharing yesterday. Man, that woman has been

hurt like nobody's business. I'm not sure why is she

married to me anymore? But she kept on going. I

admire my wife. It's harder to be a pastor's wife

than being a pastor because they're not even paid, say

Baptist Church very good because Baptist Church believe buy one

one free. If you get the pastor, the wife must

do everything for free, and then complains the more mannable oligabla,

But she doesn't stop building. I pray and encourage you.

You don't stop building, not only ministry, but you build

people just because someone hurt you. You don't stop building people.

I have been hurt by my very own disciples, but

I do not stop there. Next. If you find serenity

and happiness, they may be jealous. Answer be happy anyway.

I want you to know your Father in Heaven wants

you to be happy. Any parents don't like their children

to be happy. You know, we work, We give our

best to our children so that they can be happy.

Today I leave it. Man, I'm one of the happiest

guy you can find. You understand I'm saying God has

blessed me so much. So much. You know, what are

my hobbies? I dive not from building on in the sea,

you know. I mean these are things that most pastors

got no time to do. But I will create some

time while I'm ministering. Two when I'm in Sabah, I

will always go for my short dives while I'm preaching.

So I love diving. I find peace when I go underneath.

The other thing is I like paragliding. In Nepoll, I

do paragliding. Okay. The other thing that I love doing

is bike touring. So for a long time I would

not buy a bike because I worried. My church members

say this past are very rich. So I said. When

I was turned fifty five, I said, I'm going to

enjoy myself a bit before somebody else pushed me on

two wheels. I better ride four wheels. Yeah, I better

use the two wheels. Probably, I got my touring bike

and went for a tour for a whole week. The

only thing is my wife doesn't want to join me.

You know, I told her, no anti dress. You have

to wear tid leather pants and sit behind me and

hug me, you know, with jacket with chains everywhere. You know,

So you say you will be a bachelor for a while,

go ride yourself. So I go for my rights. But

I tell you what is amazing. All my life I

always wanted to fly a plane. Last year one of

the American friends who came for a mission trip, who

was a captain of AA American Airlines who runs a

flying school with his own planes, found out that I

like it. He's from faith Will, Arkansas. So I go

to us every year and he has design in a

cause to train me how to fly for free. Who

tells you that your God, your father wants you to

be set all the time. I love my father. I

love my father's work because he has never ever let

me down, even the small I've never prayed, you know,

not once I've prayed. Lord, please help me to learn

how to fly. You see after you hear everything I

shared about my happiness. I'm an outdoor guy. You understand

saying and everything that I wanted to do. God put

people to do that next life. The good you do

today people will often forget answer. Biba says. The good

we do is there what light right make two chapter five,

verse thirteen, two sixteen. And by the good works that

we do, people will praise God. Don't stop doing good.

I'm so happy your send the children to go and

give up to the workers. You start them young to

do good. Next, give the world the best you have,

and it may never be enough. You give your best.

Some of you don't want to give any more. For Malaysia,

Am I right? What's the poinder this country give or

so they don't appreciate. They call us spunda tang. But

what you know what Jesus is saying, do it as

unto the Lord? Do it anyway? Last light you see.

The conclusion is this in the final analysis of everything

is never about you and the world. It is about

you and God. Your life in Christ is about you

and God. Whatever you do, you do it as under

the lot which you stand with me. Difference Closians three

twenty three to twenty four is perfectly explained by this

poem by Mother Rasa. This woman when she wrote this,

she was about to die. Actually she was really old.

So when you have lived through your life and you

look back at your life, she began to answer why

she did what she did. You understand what I'm saying.

And when Paul wrote to the church in Close, he

didn't write what to do. He said, why you're doing it?

I say this again, he said, why you're doing it.

When you understand why you are doing what you're doing,

you will do it anyway. When you understand why are

you doing what you're doing, you will do it anyway.

Why are you serfing church, Why you go out and surf,

why you work for your company, why you love your

spouse and your children?

Why you need to honor your parents? Hello, listen, honoring

your parents? You know why I'm I'm so blessed. I

left everything and came back home when my mom was

getting old because I wanted to be with her. She

had dementia, she forgot who I was. I took her,

took care of her until her last breath. My wife

was there all the time, bathing her, changing her pampers.

And God bless us because ten commandment says honor your

father and mother. We do it because it's in the world,

not because our parents are only good and need we

take care. I want to say this to your church.

Please take care of your parents. If you can take

care of them, take care if you need this, because

physically they cannot, you decend them to a home for

better care. That's fine. But if you can take care

of them. You know what, old people are so free,

dying alone, dying alone. I'm speaking to some children here.

Listen very carefully. You're one blessing in your life from God.

Care for your parents, love them, honor them, and God

will never never hold back from his promises. Your inheritance

that is due to you will come to you. Amen.
