  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church. We hope this message

  2. will light up your day. The title is are you ready to stretch?

  3. You see? Yeah, nobody is excited. We got to be honest.

  4. If I ask you how many of y'all want to increase your capacity? How

  5. many will put your hands up? It's a double aged sort. You know

  6. the benefits of it, but are you willing to put in the world.

  7. You know the benefits of it. You know it's going to be good.

  8. If you are stretched, things are the end result will only be better to

  9. turn to your neighbor and say, are you ready to be stretched? Everyone

  10. is scared? Everyone is scared. Well I'm he said, yes, okay,

  11. so correct. A lot of us are scared. You know we are

  12. scared. But like it or not, if we do not do it,

  13. we will miss out on what God has for us. Okay. So,

  14. in line with this title, right, building capacity is a deliberate decision.

  15. You cannot acceedentally grow in capacity. You know it is intentional. You have

  16. to be intentional on it. You have to take certain measures to do so,

  17. and then only you will grow Okay, and then right, it's easier

  18. that Yeah, Okay, yeah, So building capacity is a deliberate decision that

  19. we have to make. We know it's good. All of us want everybody

  20. else to grow in capacity except ursula, you know, because you know it's

  21. challenging. So how does this tie in? So next life? So remember

  22. I give you a recap. I preached on the omnipresence of God presence of

  23. God. The omnipresence of God is God's presence is everywhere. We have to

  24. acknowledge and sometimes we say, God, we invite you into this place.

  25. You'll be like, hey, hello, I'm already here. Are you here

  26. not? You know, And that was the first part of my first sermon.

  27. It was acknowledging God's omni presence. He is everywhere, all right.

  28. But when we acknowledge God's omnipresence, we know about God. From knowing about

  29. God, we then go into knowing God. When we know God, that

  30. is when we experience the manifest presence of God. So the manifest presence of

  31. God is when you are going through a tough time and you pray to God

  32. like this how Jess was sharing a testimony. Jes experienced manifest presence of God.

  33. You experience God you know God Israel. You don't know about God.

  34. You know God Israel. And after you know that God is real and God

  35. is speaking to you, that is when next. Remember I said about this

  36. God's calling for us, because a lot of us want to skip knowing God,

  37. knowing about God, and we just wanted to say, what's my calling?

  38. What am I called to do? But until we know God, then

  39. only God will speak to us about his calling for us. And remember I

  40. shed there was four sees. The first is calling, the story of Gideon

  41. calling God called Gideon. Gideon had to have courage, and remember I said,

  42. the phrase was do it afraid, even if you're afraid, do it

  43. anyway, okay. And then capacity Gideon's capacity increased and then he finally conquered.

  44. So today I want to talk about capacity because from getting from our calling

  45. to conquering our calling, there has to be an increase of capacity. You

  46. cannot what God the Israelites out of Egypt, did not get the Israelites in

  47. through the Promised Land. You know, you cannot rely on Yesterday's strength for

  48. to morrow's battles because they say, right another level, another devil. You

  49. know you you but there is a continuous growth. Okay, so it's about

  50. capacity. So I ask you again, how many of y'all want to grow

  51. in your capacity? Because if you do not grow in your capacity, you

  52. might miss your calling. That's how serious it is. That's how serious it

  53. is. And this word like that came to me. I mean, this

  54. word has been the word capacity has. I mean, God spoke to me,

  55. spoke to me about it in I think December December, and then I

  56. was like, oh, I don't have the capacity anymore. I'm like,

  57. I'm like flawed. I don't have then, uh telling just I think we

  58. already at max capastila, you know, then we're supposed to meet pastic passes,

  59. sendra and just talk to them and say that I think we have to

  60. release some things, you know, because we are at max capacity. And

  61. I know them they also be like, hey, sure, no problem,

  62. because they'll be okay with they aren't, you know, because they everybody understands.

  63. Everybody understands and in terms of that, and I knew that's what I

  64. was feeling. So I was like, Okay, I'm feeling good. I'll

  65. go and tell them and then probably try and release some things. And yeah,

  66. But as I was driving one day, then God spoke to me.

  67. And God spoke to me and say that if you are at your max capacity,

  68. why don't you ask me to increase it? I'm like, uh,

  69. like, do I want to ask you to increase it? That's a question,

  70. you know, And there was a question, and that is something that

  71. and that is where this message has been birth prop So I'm telling you right,

  72. all the messages are my personal devotion, like what I've been sharing in

  73. terms of it. So when I talk about that is capacity. So I

  74. said, okay, God, I don't know how, but okay, I

  75. will ask you for it. Even to ask God to increase my capacity.

  76. I was scared ready because if I asked God to increase my capacity, you

  77. know what will happened? You will you know how you will or what happens?

  78. What happens when you have to increase your capacity? What happens in this

  79. place? So I got three points today, Okay, I put all the

  80. three points here right, So when your capacity increases, right, for your

  81. capacity to increase, for your capacity to increase, your convictions has to change.

  82. Your convictions has to change. You have to pay the cost and then

  83. you have to understand what is the cause for the increase of capacity. Right,

  84. So these are the three points. So let me take you to the

  85. first I'm just checking for time, yeah, um, yes, let me

  86. take you to the first point. Okay, So first point is conviction.

  87. So why is it very tough for us to increase our capacity? Again?

  88. Go back to the Americans in nineteen sixty one when President Kennedy told them that

  89. we want to put a man on the moon and bring him back safely.

  90. What were the convictions of Americans? They said it cannot be done. That's

  91. why fifty eight percent of the people said they cannot be done. So when

  92. when we are when we are challenged in our capacity, right, we are

  93. dealing with our current state, at our current state, at my current capacity,

  94. at my current finances, at my current talent, at the current time

  95. that I have, it is not possible. But again, God's calling requires

  96. God's dependence. God will not give you a calling which allows you to do

  97. it on your own strength. When God gives you a calling, he will

  98. want you to depend on you more. And when you have to depend on

  99. him more, it means whatever you have believed all your experiences is not going

  100. to be enough. And that's how you move to achieve your next calling.

  101. So let me take you to some scripture. Okay, next line. So

  102. this is the story of Joshua and Caleb. Y'all know, right, So

  103. from number thirteen. But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before

  104. Moses. Let's go at once to take the land. He said, we

  105. can certainly conquer it. But the other man, who had explored the land

  106. with him, disagreed. We can't go up against them. They are stronger

  107. than we are. So they spread this bad report about the land among the

  108. Israelites. The land we traveled through and explore, Lord will devour anyone who

  109. goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. We even

  110. saw giants there, the descendants of Anna. Next to them. We felt

  111. like grasshoppers. And that's what they taught too. Okay, how they thought,

  112. how they knew what they were thinking. I have no idea, but

  113. that's what they thought too. Okay. Next NIGHTE and the two men who

  114. explored the land, Joshua's son of Nun and Caleb, son of jefful Nan,

  115. thought their clothing. They said, to all the people of Israel,

  116. the land we have traveled through and explored is a wonderful land. And if

  117. the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land

  118. and give it to us. It is rich land flowing with milk and honey.

  119. Do not rebel against the Lord, and don't be afraid of the people

  120. of the land. They are only helpless. Pray to us. They have

  121. no protection, but the Lord is with us. Don't be afraid of them.

  122. So this was as good as space to the Israelites. You know,

  123. God told them to go and conquer twelve people. When ten people saw one

  124. thing and two saw another thing, they were looking at the same thing.

  125. What were the convictions? So the convictions of the ten was at our current

  126. strength, At our current capacity, I am not able to execute God's calling

  127. and I with my current strength, and therefore let's not do it for God.

  128. That God is the one that brought them out of Egypt, you know,

  129. right, they experienced the ten plagues, they went through the raid sea,

  130. and then when they saw this at the current capacity, they said,

  131. I don't think we can. And these were giants, you know. Just

  132. to give you all a bit of trivia, right, the sons of Anna.

  133. So Goliath was a son of Anna. So giants were ill, but

  134. Joshua and Caleb saw the same. So our convictions when our capacity is stretched,

  135. what are we seeing? What are we seeing? Are we seeing the

  136. giants or what are we seeing through the giants? Is God bigger than then?

  137. Because this is what Joshua and Caleb said, If the Lord is pleased

  138. with us, he will bring us safely into that land. They saw a

  139. land of milk and honey. They saw the goodness of the land. God

  140. had a calling for them to go into Canaan, and they say, God,

  141. if you called us, let's go. They did not see what they

  142. didn't have, because for them God and Me is enough. But when our

  143. capacity is stretched, why we are scared for our capacity to be stretched,

  144. It is because we keep on thinking it's gonna it's us. It's we have

  145. to depend on our own strength. So what did Joshua and Caleb see?

  146. Right, What you see determines your convictions. What you hear also determines your

  147. convictions because if I go there, next line, okay, back one's life

  148. sorry back back yeah yeah here, So actually right, Joshua and Caleb,

  149. although they told the Israelis to go forward, the whole of Israel listened to

  150. the ten men, so again what they heard determine their convictions, so they

  151. listen to the wrong person. When God gives us a calling, who are

  152. we listening to Are only listening to men who will tell us why it cannot

  153. be done? Or are we listening to God who has given us the calling?

  154. Because if we are listening to men, man is not the one that

  155. gave us the calling. God is the one that gave us the calling.

  156. And when God gives us the calling, he will give us the capacity to

  157. go through. But first we need to be convinced, and that's why our

  158. convictions. So who do you see God as you know? Who do you

  159. see God as? Is God? Optional? That's why just now, when

  160. during prayer time, right when we sang that song, I said, it's

  161. a declaration. I believe in God the Father, I believe in Christ the

  162. Son. I believe in the name of Jesus. What is your conviction of

  163. Jesus? Do you believe he is Lord of all? If he is not

  164. lord of all, he's not lord at all. So that's why when God

  165. gives us the calling, you have the courage. And then before our capacity

  166. is stretched, we have to check our convictions. What is our conviction?

  167. Okay, what do you fear? What do you fear? What is your

  168. limiting belief? What is your limiting belief? You know? Ah, so

  169. I think I, ah, I may or may not have shell here before.

  170. I mean, how I took up this CPC role. Right, y'all

  171. may have heard it so many times. So when when this role came up

  172. right in terms of yeah, was made available and then uh past the Kenneth

  173. approached me and say that, ah, I believe that God wants you to

  174. take on this role. And I can tell you right honestly, at that

  175. time, I was like, for what why do I want to take this?

  176. You know? And I tell you I'm so embarrassed to say this now,

  177. but I even say this for what I take this role. I'm not

  178. going to get paid more. I'm not going to you know. When I

  179. look back, I'm thinking, like, how could I say these kinds of

  180. things, you know, because I didn't recognize it's a calling. And then

  181. right, one of the main things I didn't want to take up this role

  182. is because even at that time, we had challenges with your room. And

  183. when I don't pass the Kenneth, I said that, Hey, it's going

  184. to be tough, you know, just have to manage the Roman and all

  185. this again, he will understand if I bring all my reasoning to men,

  186. everyone will understand. Okay, everyone will understand. He will understand. But

  187. then somehow I felt convicted to like, Okay, I will just take it

  188. on. You know, I will take it on. But I gave a

  189. time boxler, I gave a time box. I will take it on for

  190. this period of time. Okay, lo and behold. Two years ago seems

  191. like a walk in a park when it comes to Jerome. I'm telling you

  192. there is no joke. And then now I'm doing this, I'm like,

  193. how, so what were my convictions? My convictions changed because previously I just

  194. said, hey, and my current strength and my current ability, I cannot

  195. do it. But right now I'll be like, God, whatever you tell

  196. me to do, I will do it. I don't know how. I

  197. don't know how you're going to provide. I don't know how. So I

  198. tell you something funnier. So, yeah, two weeks ago, I got

  199. called into Jerom's principal's office of an inclusive school. So you would think they

  200. would have seen it all right, So I get called into the office,

  201. he can still tell me, Oh, it's so good that you can still

  202. smile. I was like, it's okay, I'm okay, you know,

  203. I'm okay. I just think, come what me? Come what me?

  204. Because I'm no longer depending on my own strength. It's no longer about what

  205. I can do. I have gone past that so much. Right now,

  206. my convictions is what am I seeing? What am I hearing? And then

  207. if my convictions are correct, I know and my convictions are in God.

  208. I know in God I can do all things right. So that is convictions.

  209. And what happened right? I think, if I am very honest,

  210. my capacity stretched like crazy in the past six months plus plus more modern ella

  211. right since since taking on this role. So what happened next? It's like,

  212. yeah, no, back when Yes Romans twelve, verse two. So,

  213. dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to

  214. God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living

  215. and holy sacrifice, the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the

  216. way to worship him. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world.

  217. Don't just depend on human reasoning. Everyone will understand. Everyone will understand.

  218. No one will blame you if you say no. But the scripture says,

  219. don't copy the behavior and customs of this world. But let God transform you

  220. into a new person by changing the way you think your convictions has to change.

  221. You want your capacity to grow. The first thing that has to change

  222. is your convictions be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will

  223. learn to know God's will for you. Then you will then you know God's

  224. will for you, So whatever external things that happen will not change your convictions.

  225. That's why it's like, come what me, Come what me? You

  226. know, but I know God's will for me is good and God I do

  227. not know. Like yesterday, on you in the car, right as we

  228. are driving back there, I was telling you, I all honestly, I

  229. have no idea how we're going to get through this. But tomorrow I'm preaching

  230. about capacity. This is how real it is, guys. I'm telling you

  231. it is real. It's real. I'm not like, I'm not preaching something

  232. that I think. I'm going through it every day. But I have to

  233. tell myself that, hey, I have to believe that God's will is good.

  234. God will come true. I believe there's a light at the end of

  235. the tunnel, but I hope the tunnel is short. Okay, But but

  236. I believe there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. And

  237. I believe that God is control. So with that convictions. That's why the

  238. joy of the Lord is my strength. So if people ask how still laugh,

  239. still smile, I'm like, it's okay, here, I I what

  240. do you only do? Crier? It's not going to help, it's not

  241. going to do anything. You know, I might as well move forward because

  242. I believe that God is doing a new He's stretching my capacity right next line,

  243. Strong convictions proceed great actions. That's why I say increase of capacity is

  244. a decision that needs to be made, and you can only do great things

  245. after you have your convictions made. You align your convictions with what God wants

  246. you to do. The thing about this is by one of the famous theologians

  247. in I think the early nineteenth century. Strong convictions precede great actions. All

  248. of us want great actions, but how many of us want to increase capacity?

  249. To conquer? You have to increase capacity like it around. There is

  250. no shortcut, There is no shortcut, which leads me to my second point

  251. next line. So the second next light is actually cost. This is what

  252. stops us from expanding our capacity. This is the thing that stops us from

  253. going from our calling to conquering it, the cost. Okay, so let

  254. me bring us through some scripture. Joseph, a young man of seventeen,

  255. was tending the flocks with his brothers, the son of Belha and the sons

  256. of Zelpah, his father's wives, and he brought their father a bad report

  257. about them. Okay, so Joseph, this guy like, not this Joseph.

  258. Okay, he's like I think it's like nobody likes him one lot.

  259. You know, he hang out with this fella. We're gonna tell tale,

  260. tell bad things, you know, bad report. He's probably the favorite.

  261. Yeah, he was the favorite son, you know. So he knows everybody

  262. likes him, and he wants to pull everyone down. And this was him.

  263. Okay, and then skip the words eight. His brother said to him,

  264. do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?

  265. And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had

  266. said. So he told them the first dream I truncated. Ay, they

  267. told you. In the first dream, he hate they hated him. He

  268. still didn't get the cue. He gonn tell them a second dream. You

  269. know, this guy must be like full of himself. It's full of himself.

  270. Then he had another dream, and he told you to his brother.

  271. He said, I had another dream, and this time the sun and the

  272. moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me. This was Joseph. Joseph

  273. received his calling. The dreams were his calling. Think about it. So

  274. God gave him his calling when he was seventeen. But what happened next line?

  275. So this one is the endler, you know. But before we go

  276. into that, right is you know that Joseph was nearly killed. He was

  277. thrown into a pit, who was sold to a Portifa and then was in

  278. Portiva's home. After Portipha's home, he was thrown into prison and then finally

  279. in the palace. But what happened you look right? This was in Potiphas's

  280. house. The Lord was with Joseph. God gave Joseph a calling. Just

  281. remember this, God gave Joseph a calling. Joseph had to be courageous.

  282. Remember the false Caesar that I me I mentioned just now. The Lord was

  283. with Joseph. He was a successful man, and he was in the house

  284. of his master, the Egyptian, and his master saw that the Lord was

  285. with him, and the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand.

  286. So Joseph found favor in his sight and served him. And then he

  287. made him overseer of his house and all that he had put under his authority.

  288. So it was from that time that he had made him overseer of his

  289. house, and that all that he had that the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house

  290. for Joseph's, and the blessing of the Lord was all all that he had

  291. in the house and in the field. Then he left all that he had

  292. in Joseph's hand, and he did not know what he had except for the

  293. breid that w he ate. This is a that means right, I don't

  294. know anything except the braid that I'm holding. I don't know whether it is

  295. an exaggeration or not, but that is the level of trust that Portifa had

  296. in David and that in Joseph, sorry in Joseph, and Joseph had to

  297. earn it. How did he have to earn it? He had to do

  298. his best. He had to be courageous and to live out as how God

  299. intended him to live, although he was a slave. And then right,

  300. if you look at it, one highlighted, right, the blessing of the

  301. Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field.

  302. When you read this verse, right, he was already learning management at this

  303. stage, both in the house and in the field. How did he get

  304. the skills to prepare for the famine? You know, you think about it.

  305. His excellence in terms of management, his excellence in terms of agriculture,

  306. everything was when he again his capacity was being stretched. But his conviction is

  307. that I am going to serve God with all my heart, no matter what.

  308. Right. And then next line, so this was after Potiphar's wife.

  309. Then jose his master, took him and put him into prison, a place

  310. where the king's prisoners were confined. You see, it's not any prison.

  311. The placement of Joseph in the king's prison is also God's hand. Can you

  312. see? But again, in that moment, you'll be like, what on

  313. earth is happening? All you have to hold on is the calling. All

  314. Joseph had to hold on is the calling. I have no idea how this

  315. is going to turn out. I don't know. I cannot see the end

  316. of the tunnel, you know, like what it's not yet. All I

  317. have to hold on is the calling. And because a calling, I will

  318. pay the price I will cost. I will do whatever it takes, because

  319. that is my conviction. If his conviction was not correct, he would not

  320. have paid the cost. And because of that, the Lord was with Joseph

  321. and showed him mercy. He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper

  322. of the prison. How do you get favor in the prison? I have

  323. no idea. I watched many TV shows. Most of the time it's like

  324. prison break line. You want to get out. You know, there is

  325. no show that like you a model prisoner, and you know, and then

  326. suddenly you become that, like the number one there, you know. And

  327. the keeper of the prison committed Joseph's hand. All the prisoners who were in

  328. prison, whatever they did, that it was his doing. The keeper of

  329. the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority. Right now,

  330. his management skills has expanded to manage those who were unmass magible. Think

  331. about it. You can manage those who are unmanageable that's what lended them in

  332. prison. If you want to go to any management schooler, I think this

  333. is it. And he did it so well that the prison wasn't didn't look

  334. at anything that Joseph was over okay, And whatever he did, the Lord

  335. made it prosper. Was he out of the prison yet? No. So

  336. when you have your calling and you are paying the cost, God will still

  337. allow you to prosper in the prison. God is still with us. God

  338. is still with us. God will not leave you nor forsake you. Right,

  339. he is still with us. Next night, and this is after Joseph

  340. revealed the dream to Pharaoh, and Pharaoh said to his servants, can we

  341. find such a one as this, a man in whom is the spirit of

  342. God? Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, inasmuch as God has shown you all

  343. this, there is no one as discerning and as wise as you. You

  344. shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to

  345. your word. Only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.

  346. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, see, I have set you all over

  347. the land of Egypt. Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh,

  348. King of Egypt. So there are few things I want to bring us

  349. to hearing. In every role that Joseph was given, he was always the

  350. second man, and God increased his capacity from Portifar to prison and then the

  351. palace. People think it's like Joseph was an overnight success. He was not

  352. an overnight success. It took Joseph thirteen years to get here, and each

  353. step of the way God increased his capacity because he was willing to pay the

  354. price. The price was to live according to God's convictions, no matter what

  355. that was what it was. And you see, right earlier I said Joseph

  356. was seventeen years old, nobody liked him. Can you see how Joseph's capacity

  357. has changed from somebody who is a tell tale, someone who is full of

  358. right, to someone who is leading the biggest nation in the world at that

  359. time. That capacity increase can only come if we are willing to listen to

  360. God's calling, step forth in courage and then allow God to expand our capacity.

  361. But it's going to cost us. So again I will ask you this

  362. question, are you willing to increase your capacity? Because if we are not,

  363. we will miss out on the calling. You know, so think about

  364. it. So this is and uh, I want to give another short analogy,

  365. right, so last back one's life. Yeah, so last Tuesday I

  366. went to the gym. So I wanted to become stronger because all my friends

  367. are all like faster than me already. So I'm like, Jasula, cannot,

  368. I must work up. So I went and check this YouTube video.

  369. One fitness influencer like late day workout. So when the followed in the gym,

  370. wag this thing. The next four or five days, I was like

  371. limping. I was like, because what happens when you work out, it's

  372. called, uh, you will go through this syndrome called DOMS syndrome. So

  373. DOMS is actually give you a bit, right. Is this thing called delayed

  374. on set uh something muscle? Okay, I forgot the exact acronym la,

  375. but essentially what happened, it's it's a delayed pain because the muscles have I

  376. have sort of had micro test and the body needs to inflame that area to

  377. heal it. And when when the body inflames the area, it only comes

  378. later. Right, So on the day itself, I'm okay, But the

  379. next couple of days, right, I'll be feeling like oh man, I

  380. cannot walk? Can I walk upstairs? Can I walk downstairs? Any of

  381. you'all experienced that before? You never played Badmint a long time? You can

  382. suddenly go on player next day. Right? I cannot lift up my hands,

  383. you know? But what is that? Why do we experience that?

  384. Because in order for our muscle capacity to grow, we have to pay the

  385. cost. We have to pay the price. It's gonna hurt us, but

  386. we are okay with it in the natural. Nobody is like God, why

  387. is my muscles in pain? I'm like, dude, it's expected. It's

  388. expect that, which is the next line. That's why no pain, no

  389. gain? You know pain? You know gain. If we are not willing

  390. to pay the price, how are we going to expand our capacity? You

  391. know? In terms of that, that's why be willing to pay the price.

  392. It's gonna stretches, it is, but it is worthy, right,

  393. it is worthy. If I ask you, if I look back right the

  394. two years taking it on, I say, when it's crazy. But if

  395. would I have taken it on if I knew this was the end result,

  396. I would say no, you know, because I know the struggles. But

  397. sometimes God doesn't reveal everything to us. We just have the step forth in

  398. faith, live in the conviction that God is in control, and take one

  399. step at the time, and pay the cost at every single point. Because

  400. God is a good god, He knows how much we can handle. He

  401. knows, and he grows our capacity slowly at the rate that he wants us

  402. to grow. All right, So that is the second point. So conviction

  403. costs. And cause I thought this would be a short message, but it's

  404. like taking a bit longer, okay, So cause, let me go straight

  405. into the scripture. When Jesus looked up and he saw a great crowd coming

  406. towards him, he said to Philip, where shall we buy bread for these

  407. people to eat? He asked this only to test him, for he had

  408. already had in mind what he was going to do. But answered him it

  409. would take more than a half year's wages to buy enough bread for each one

  410. to have a bite. And another of his disciples, Andrew Simon, Peters's

  411. brother, spoke up, here is a boy with five small barley loaves and

  412. two small fish. But how far will they will they go? Among so

  413. many? Okay, let's stop here first. So this is the scripture on

  414. the five loaves and two fish, feeding of the five thousand. Okay,

  415. so what they had to feed five thousand, they only got five loaves two

  416. fish enough capacity? No, right, And that's what a lot of us

  417. think. That's why Philip was looking at what he had and said that most

  418. of the time, we will look at what we have and say that,

  419. hey, it's impossible. It is not possible. Because I'm looking at what

  420. I have, and I look at the amount that I have to grow,

  421. I can't do it. Okay. But Peter said that, okay, there

  422. is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish. But how

  423. far will they go among so many? Okay? So they basically gave Jesus

  424. everything they had. It's not much, but I give you everything I have.

  425. Next line, Jesus said, half the people sit down. There was

  426. plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down. About five thousand

  427. men were there. Jesus then took the loaves, gave tanks, and distributed

  428. to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same

  429. with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat, he said

  430. to his disciples, gathered the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be

  431. wasted. So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the

  432. five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. Right, So think

  433. about it this way, right, who did Jesus do the miracle for?

  434. Was it the five thousand or the disciples? You see, Jesus actually did

  435. that the miracle for the disciples. The disciples gave Jesus everything that they had,

  436. which they stole from a boiler, probably five loads two fish. Okay,

  437. but that's everything that they have, and they surrendered it to Jesus.

  438. And what did Jesus do. Jesus increased their capacity and gave them more than

  439. enough. You can eat and have more enough. And sometimes, right,

  440. why we do not want to increase our capacity? It is because right if

  441. they the five loaves and two fish. Right, Actually, the boy,

  442. if if I with the boy, I'll be like, I don't think I

  443. will give it last because I'll be like it with so little I cannot feed

  444. everybody. I might as well just eat la. You know, it's not

  445. going to do It's a drop in the ocean. It's not going to do

  446. anything. But the boy had that much because he had an eye for the

  447. cause, The cause was greater than him. The cause was to feed the

  448. five thousand and when we realized, when we recognized the cause for God to

  449. increase our capacity, it is not for ourselves. It is to be a

  450. blessing to others. But when he was a blessing to others, he was

  451. blessed above and beyond what he could ask or imagine. Can you see that?

  452. So even as I just I didn't even look at my slights here now

  453. when you're flipping it here, okay, So even as I talk to us,

  454. are close right, I wanted us to watch a video. Okay,

  455. So just remember the three points, the three points when you increase a capacity,

  456. you have to what what are the points you remember? What are your

  457. convictions? Are you willing to pay the price the cost? And what is

  458. the cost? Okay? So I hope this video can and sort of help

  459. summarize that. Okay, So let's fix our eyes on the screen. So,

  460. coach, how strong is the worst view this year? How strong we

  461. are? You're already written Friday night and as a lost bra Well, now

  462. I found out we could pay them. Come here, brock, you do,

  463. Jeremy, what am I in trouble? Now, not yet. I

  464. want to see you do the death crawling again, except I want to see

  465. your absolute best. What you only go the thirty. I think you can

  466. go the fifty fifty. I can go to the fifty if nobody's on my

  467. back. Think you can do it, Jeremy, on your back. But

  468. even if you can, I want you to promise me you're gonna do your

  469. best, all right, your best. Okay, you're gonna give me your

  470. best. I'm gonna give you my best, all right. One more thing.

  471. I want you to do it blindfolded. Why because I want you giving

  472. up at a certain point when you can go further. Get down, Jeremy,

  473. get on his back. N got a good tight hole, Jeremy.

  474. All right, let's go, Brock giving news off the ground, just your

  486. Keep moving, Brock. That's it. That's it. That's it. Keep

  487. going. Don't quit on me, keep going, keep driving that, keep

  488. keep your knees off the ground. That's it. You're very best. Don't

  489. quit on me. You're very best. Keep driving, keep driving. There

  490. you go, There you go. I said, you keep driving, keep

  491. your knees off the ground, keep driving it. Don't quit till you got

  492. nothing left. Keep moving, Brock. That's it. That's it, that's

  493. it. Keep going. I'm on everything you got, come on, keep

  494. going, hurts, don't quit on me. You're very best, keep driving,

  495. keep driving. There you go, There you go. He's heaving.

  496. I know, he said, And you negotiate with your money to find more

  497. strength. But don't you give up on me. Brock. You keep going.

  498. You hear me. You keep going. You're doing good. You keep

  499. going. You not quit on me. You keep going, You keep going,

  500. you keep going. It's all hard from there, thirty more South you

  504. go it. Come on, Rock, give me more, give me more,

  505. keep doing twenty more death, twenty more, get going, run,

  506. give me your back. Don't way No, can't going up thank college dam

  507. college, don way down way dog way Rock, Gelly, you don't wait,

  508. can't go it, can't go it, don't ron gully j w on

  512. Lord what hard here you say? Oh Harry war Well good Rock. You're

  514. team. If you walk around defeated, so will they don't tell me you

  515. can't give me more than what I've been seeing. You just carried one hundred

  516. and forty pound man across this whole field in your arms. Rock. I

  517. need you. God's gifted you with the ability of leadership. Don't waste it,

  518. Kurt, Can I count on you? Yes? Okay? What is

  519. it Jeremy? How are one? Says toy? All right? All right?

  520. So inspite of not by the video, So the thing is, he

  521. started off with the wrong convictions. He was defeated even before he started.

  522. But what did they do? Close your eyes? What is he looking at?

  523. Who did he listen to? And then he was willing to pay the

  524. price, the cost? And then when he did that, he when he

  525. finally did it right, the cause was that he was leading his team.

  526. It is a cause bigger than himself. And like what the video say,

  527. right, God has given you a god given talent. Are we doing everything

  528. that he wants us to do? Are we willing to pay the price?

  529. Do we believe in the convictions? And do we know who we are doing

  530. it for? So even as I get the band up, I have I

  531. think one last light when there show? So I put it into a equation.

  532. Increased capacity happens when we surrender and we serve with passion and compassion.

  533. So if we want our capacity to increase, this is what we need God.

  534. We need to surrender our lives to God, serve him and do it

  535. with compassion and passion, and that it was how Joseph lived his life,

  536. that was how Joshua and Caleb lived their life, that was how the disciples

  537. lived their life after Jesus went back to heaven, and that's how God increased

  538. their capacity. So this morning, Church, God has given us talents.

  539. God has given each and every one of us a calling. Are we willing

  540. to have our capacity increased? Amen? We hope you've been blessed by this

  541. message. For more information on our church, please visit as church Org.

  543. going to be a good week. I hit for you. God bless
