  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. The title is the beginning of Wisdom. So this is

  4. just something that well, I wouldn't say I'm passionate about.

  5. But when I was a young teenager and I was

  6. reading True Solomon right, and I remember and I was

  7. very yeah, I was like what seventeen? I think? Uh

  8. and uh, you know, committed to church, going to church.

  9. And during one of my quiet time, I remember reading

  10. where God asked Solomon, what do you want Solomon? You know?

  11. Because God wants to bless Solomon, you know, and how

  12. why does go on a blessed Solomon? Because Solomon had

  13. God's favor because of his father, David Right, Solomon was

  14. there was a son that was delivant and and and

  15. God as Solomon, what do you want? I'll give you anything?

  16. How many you were? My son always asked me this question, Daddy,

  17. if you have anything, but what about you want? And

  18. then he said I'll have you U limited money? Right,

  19. That's why? Will he tell me? And I will always yeah, yeah,

  20. And I always say I have everything I want. I

  21. just wanted my book, my sons and my wife. So

  22. feels so good, right, actually live the money not so

  23. bad as alla. But but God asked Solomon, what do

  24. you want? I can give you anything. And you know

  25. Solomon who asked for anything, but you need ask for

  26. one thing. He said, God give me wisdom. God give

  27. me wisdom. And I remember praying that prayer and said, Lord,

  28. if you can give Solomon wisdom. Of course, sometimes when

  29. we are younger, we think, oh, you ask for wisdom,

  30. then all the other good things come, you know, uh,

  31. you know, power, money and stuff like that. Right, based

  32. on what the Bible says. So I asked for that

  33. al sola when I was young, right. But wisdom, I

  34. think is something that we all need in our lives. Amen.

  35. And we're gonna just do a bit of study on

  36. it today, are you guys? Okay? So Proverbs chapter nine,

  37. and we're gonna read it. Says yeah, Proverbs chapter nine,

  38. verse ten. The fear of the Lord is the beginning

  39. of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

  40. For by me, your days will be multiplied and years

  41. of life will be added to you. If you are wise,

  42. you are wise for yourself. And if you scoff, you

  43. buried alone. Okay, let's learn a few things about wisdom today. Okay.

  44. So the first point is the Bible, God's word teaches

  45. us to look for wisdom. Yo. Get that. It teaches

  46. us to look for wisdom. It tells us to look

  47. for wisdom like searching for hidden treasure. Have you all

  48. seen how treasure hunters took for treasure? You guys watched

  49. the documentary on like I remember, there was a documentary

  50. where they were looking for the Titanic, right, and they

  51. spent a lot of money equipment technology, got submarine, you know.

  52. And I remember that documentary so well because the submarine

  53. that found the Titanic was called Alvin. Yeah, that's I

  54. remember it. You can go and check it. I don't

  55. know whether I think I'm correct. There was a bigger submarine,

  56. but the smaller one was called Elvin, right, the unmanned submarine.

  57. The bigger submarine, I forgot the name. Really, And they

  58. spent a lot of money. They needed an investor. They

  59. went and looked for it. They thought it's here. Took

  60. them years to look for the Teitanic. They were searching

  61. for treasure, you know. And of course you think, why

  62. spend so much money? Right of course, there is a

  63. reward at the end because when they found the treasure,

  64. it's treasure. When they found the treasure, they will be rewarded.

  65. But it takes a lot of investment of time, investment

  66. of you know, energy. You know, you don't even know

  67. whether you will get your ROI back. You don't even

  68. know whether you will get your profit back when you

  69. look for treasure. That way, right, just rely on the man.

  70. But yet proverabs two verus four. The five says, if

  71. you seek her as silver and search for her as

  72. as for hidden treasure, it tells you that it's hidden. Okay,

  73. then you will understand the fear of the Lord and

  74. find the knowledge of God. So the Bible first point,

  75. we establish a few things before we go into it.

  76. First point is the Bible teaches all of us to

  77. look for wisdom. Right. The second point is the Lord

  78. is the one who gives us wisdom. Okay, the Lord

  79. is the one. Let's go to Proverbs chapter two, verse

  80. sixty seven. What does it say? He says here, for

  81. the Lord gives wisdom. From his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

  82. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright. He is

  83. a shield to those who walk uprightly. He guards the

  84. paths of justice and preserves the way of his sayings,

  85. then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every

  86. good path. Well, if the Bible asks us to look

  87. for wisdom like hidden treasure, and the Bible also says

  88. that the Lord is the one that gives us wisdom,

  89. I mean I'm making my own, like, what's the word?

  90. What's the word that Sheilock Holmes asks? What's in? Or

  91. what's asked Chloholms? So what's your deduction? Right? Well? I

  92. deduced that we should see Golah because if I need

  93. to look for wisdom and wisdom comes from the Lord,

  94. then I should see God. Right? Makes sense? Why do

  95. you see God to look for wisdom? Right? And you

  96. know it says here God is a shield for those

  97. who walk up rightly. So if you walk up rightly

  98. in the eyes of God, you don't have to worry.

  99. He will protect you. You only worry when you don't

  100. want a brightley in the eyes of God. Then you

  101. better worry because there's no promise of him protecting you. Amen.

  102. He guards the paths of justice right, and he preserves

  103. the way of his sayings. So if you seek God,

  104. and I'm did you sing? Based on what the Bible says,

  105. If we see God, our paths will be taken care of.

  106. The way that we have will be preserved by the Lord.

  107. Why does it need preservation because there are challenges because

  108. there are people out there that want to get you.

  109. There are people out there that may be jealous for you,

  110. Peo about that. They want to mess with your business

  111. for whatever reason. But if we seek the Lord and

  112. we have wisdom, then we'll be protected. Right. It also

  113. says here in a verse chapter nine, then you will

  114. understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path. So

  115. it means that we will understand that's another point. We

  116. will understand righteousness and justice. What does equity mean? How

  117. many of you here are in real estate or banking finance?

  118. Oh no, they're not. Share our banking finance raest that

  119. I know that this too. Anyone here, you're not got

  120. people thinking why so shy? You're not? Equity is not

  121. We don't be a finance finance class today. Oh my goodness,

  122. everybody's so quiet. Are you okay? Good morning? XB you okay?

  123. I see a lot of pointing like, yeah, Nick is there?

  124. I know Basically, when you talk about equity in a house, Okay,

  125. let's use house as an example, right, it means that

  126. how much you order minus how much is the value,

  127. then that's your equity. That's the value of the house. Right.

  128. So if your house costs one million dollars, but your

  129. body it for half a million, Okay, the equity of

  130. the house is half a million. It just means value.

  131. So when the Bible says you will understand equity and

  132. every good path, he tells you that when you have wisdom,

  133. you will understand righteousness. What is righteousness? What is justice?

  134. And you will know the value of a good path.

  135. All of us here are on a path to somewhere.

  136. With the decisions we make every day, we are going

  137. somewhere right. And of course we all want to go

  138. to the good place right every path we take. Now

  139. the Bible talks about you know why, it is the

  140. path to destruction, narrow is the one to righteousness. Right

  141. is very hard to find? Who who will find it

  142. very hard to find? Right? And when you talk about

  143. path and you talk about being wise, when you are wise,

  144. you will know which path to take that will lead

  145. you to good things. But when you're unwise. And when

  146. you don't have wisdom in your life, the path you

  147. take will lead to destruction. Okay, So the question is

  148. which path are we taking today? Every path we take

  149. reaches somewhere, some to destruction and some to prosperity. What

  150. is prosperity and abandoned life? And recently I was I

  151. can't remember which preacher, Oh, I think I remember Amd,

  152. I remember for those who went for x Men devotion.

  153. Pastor Jeffrey I think came and he said he shared

  154. the meaning of the word prosperity, and he was so enlightening.

  155. When we think prosperity because a lot of years see

  156. are Chinese, we think prosperity or prosperity, money money, money

  157. you need. But what the Bible means by prosperity is

  158. not just money. What the Bible means by prosperity, based

  159. on the explanation, it's not just money. It's shalom, it's peace,

  160. it's a good life. It's not just money. It's not

  161. just money. It's quite powerful. No, when you understand deeper

  162. what the word means, right, we will get an abundant life.

  163. Problems Chapter two thus tend to twelve. It says, when

  164. wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul,

  165. discretion will preserve you, Understanding will keep you, to deliver

  166. you from the way of evil. From the man who

  167. speaks perverse things. I'm gonna continue reading from those who

  168. leave the paths of uprightness to work in the ways

  169. of darkness, who rejoice in doing evil and delight in

  170. the perversity of the wicked, whose ways are crooked, and

  171. who are devious in their paths. To deliver you from

  172. the immoral woman, from the doctors, who flatters with her words,

  173. who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the

  174. covenant of a god. For her house leads down to death,

  175. and her paths to the day. None who go to

  176. her return, nor do they regain the paths of life.

  177. So you may walk the way in the way of goodness,

  178. and keep the paths of righteousness. For the upright will

  179. dwell in the land, and the blameless will remain in it,

  180. but the wicked will be cut off from the earth,

  181. and the unfaithful will be uprooted from it. I'm gonna

  182. use a very simple example to explain this, parents, and

  183. maybe for some of you who are not parents yet.

  184. By maybe your parents have said this, I don't really

  185. like the friends you're hanging out with. I think they're

  186. giving you a bad influence. Because influence rare powerful. Right,

  187. So when you talk about pathway, when you are on

  188. the pathway with good friends and good influence, you will

  189. rich good things. But when you are on the pathway

  190. with bad friends and bad influence, this is what the

  191. Bible means. You'll be led astray. You're your catch that wisdom,

  192. yeah you, and it's not even a good or bad

  193. it's just if you follow this way, you will continue

  194. heading down the not so nice way. But if you

  195. follow this way right, you'll head down a better way.

  196. We thought we're talking about wisdom here, Okay, So wisdom

  197. is important. Number one, we gotta look for it. Number two,

  198. we gotta know it comes from God, right, He gives

  199. us wisdom. And with wisdom, the benefit is we understand righteousness,

  200. We understand what's right. We understand and value a good pathway,

  201. a good direction. When you have it. When you that

  202. means that when you don't have it, now, it's very

  203. hard to recognize. Maybe everything you see is good. That's

  204. very dangerous. And he says he and proverbs right, Tan,

  205. discretion will preserve you. You know what discretion means? Discretion

  206. just means discernment. Can you discern or not? Do you

  207. know or not? The people you're hanging out with is

  208. a good inference to you or not? Or the thing

  209. that carries the weight is other things? But the person

  210. has a nice car? Okay, I'm just using example horrible examples. Okay, Okay,

  211. people who have got nice car doesn't mean they're bad lad. Okay,

  212. But do we have the discernment in our spirit? Do

  213. we have the wisdom to discern on who we should

  214. hang out with and who we shouldn't? Right? Do we

  215. have that? Or are we blind to that? Or are

  216. we going just purely by emotions, purely by time spend together? Right?

  217. Something to think about, are you guys? Okay? It also

  218. says that understanding will keep you. You know what that means.

  219. I mean, the language is very powerfuler, but it just

  220. tells you that when you understand something, it will help you.

  221. When you don't understand something, you will get in trouble

  222. because you don't understand. Why are why passus? Steven keep

  223. asking me to come for prayer? Service. Don't he know,

  224. I'm busy, But do you understand that when you come

  225. for prayer service and when you are participating in prayer, man,

  226. unless you tell me that you pray twenty four hours land,

  227. then okay, don't you come for prayer service. Actually even

  228. then also you should come. You know why, there's a

  229. difference when you pray corporately with other believers. Know a

  230. few things that we practice in this church that I

  231. find very very valuable, like the prayer during worship that

  232. right now, even in my homes, I make sure it happens.

  233. I say, I'm the leader, so I can push for it,

  234. you know. And I see the difference of people's countenance

  235. after prayer and before prayer. Before prayer, okay, we're just

  236. doing the same thing, worship God, you know, that's it.

  237. But after prayer, you see very different. People are more comfortable,

  238. people more at peace. People know that we've committed to

  239. the Lord whatever weight that we already have. So prayer

  240. is powerful. It is powerful, right, So understanding the more

  241. we understand the Word of God, the more we understand

  242. one another, the more we understand what is it it

  243. should be, we will be kept. We won't find ourselves

  244. in trouble. I'm generalizing a lot of these words. I

  245. hope you catch what I'm trying to say, But the

  246. moment you you don't, right. I mean, it also applies

  247. in your work, in your in your life. It applies students.

  248. The more you understand a subject easier for you or

  249. not right. The more you don't understand how sosalah, how

  250. to pass the exam, very hard to pass next time

  251. you work? Also the same thing. The more you understand

  252. the subject matter the better. So understanding keeps you. Amen. Okay,

  253. I thought a lot about wisdom. Are you guys? Okay,

  254. everybody's very quiet. I hope you guys are catching something right,

  255. So let's let me. I don't know whether this will

  256. challenge some of your views on it, but I want

  257. to just give a little bit of an understanding. What

  258. is wisdom? Talk about wisdom a lot, right? What is it?

  259. Is it intelligence? Is it information? Some people think wisdom

  260. is information. Some people think wisdom is intelligence. You go high,

  261. AQ means your wise. I'm gonna make some statements. You

  262. can agree or disagree. La. I don't think someone who's

  263. smart is wise, because I meet some really smart people

  264. who make really not so smart decisions. I don't think

  265. information is wise because chat Gibt has all the information

  266. in the world. But I doubt Chetgibt it's wise to

  267. be able to advise you on certain things. I mean,

  268. of course, so unfair persives. How can you use a machine? Well,

  269. there are a lot of people here who know a

  270. lot of things, but they may not be wise. You'll

  271. understand right because you've experienced it right. So it's definitely

  272. not intelligence. Definitely not just information, although both are important things. No,

  273. it's not just about being knowledgeable, about being smart. Would

  274. you agree with me if I say that wisdom is

  275. about making the right decision, because you can be someone

  276. who's not so smart, but you can still be wise.

  277. You can be someone who doesn't have all the information,

  278. but you can still make wise decisions Corna. So it's

  279. about making decisions. You can have a young person who

  280. don't know a lot. I eat more salt than you

  281. eat rice. You know, those of us for older, we say,

  282. but they are wise, they know how to make wise decisions.

  283. Yet you can have an old person that is super old,

  284. that got more years in their life, but constantly making

  285. foolish decisions. Constantly getting in trouble, constantly making I don't know, Okay,

  286. I'm not gonna use any examples, right, So isn't it

  287. about making the right decision to be wise? Isn't it

  288. about discerning what is right at what time you'll get

  289. it right? And the wisdom that God gives us keeps

  290. us safe from destruction. So you may walk in the

  291. way of goodness and keep to the paths of righteousness.

  292. For the upright will dwell in the land, and the

  293. blameless will remain in it, but the wicked will be

  294. cut off from the earth, and the unfaithful will be

  295. up rooted from it. Okay, I just for funner, I

  296. just want to give you a picture of how wisdom

  297. looks like. Okay, and I want to invite some of

  298. my volunteers, Wesley and Sivia, to come and act something

  299. out for us today. Yeah yeah, I know, very very seriousity.

  300. So now we just have a little bit of funer.

  301. Yeah yeah, they yeah, Okay, they're gonna act out a

  302. scene and then we're just gonna learn so far away

  303. you go there, Okay, they're gonna eg our scene. So

  304. so let's just say that they are colleagues okay, their

  305. colleagues and uh just for fun, and Sivia the boss,

  306. and Wesley is like the worker worker, okay, she's a

  307. boss and action okay, pass worst, okay, just to let

  308. you know, give you a bit more information. Now, Wesley

  309. can finish the monthly report in two days. He can

  310. finish it in two days if nothing goes wrong, everything

  311. goes well, in two days, he can finish the report. Okay, okay,

  312. we pause her. Was that a wise response? Why was

  313. it a wise response? Why it's rude? Okay? Can you

  314. please you know saw Ruth your boss? Sorry, okay, just

  315. overlook the ruts, Just overlook the ruts. Okay. He he's

  316. so interacting. I don't even know whether he'll speak to

  317. the boss that we're okay, But anyway, why was it unwise?

  318. She asked? One month report? When can you deliver? Right?

  319. I just told you that he needs two days forty

  320. eight hours? And when did he promised tomorrow? With cheez

  321. over promise? Okay? So or promise? Okay, okay, Let's let's

  322. let's hear the next response. Next month? He said, next one? Okay?

  323. Was that a wise response or foolish response? Why is

  324. it foolish? Too long? What unrealistic? Okay? Some say unrelistic?

  325. Too long? Yeah? Two days? He needs? Why must he

  326. one man right and not need that? It's a monthly

  327. report next month? You need? Ready? Okay, let's hear whether

  328. or not he'll make a white decision now? Two days? Okay?

  329. What's that? A wise edision or foolish edision? Much better?

  330. Much getting better? Who said wise? Wise? Some say wise? Who?

  331. Who says is foolish? Who says foolish? Can't say whither? Okay?

  332. John says foolish? Okay, one of it? Why? Why? Why

  333. is it foolish? Assuming everything has to be right? Assuming?

  334. So when's the what? What would be the better answer?

  335. Better answer for me? I will say that usually is

  336. I can two days to be safe? Can you just

  337. give me three to four days? Three to four days? Okay?

  338. Let let's see what's his answer? Four days? Okay? Four days?

  339. Is that a better answer? Is that wiser? Why is

  340. it wiser? Under promise over deliver? People like to use it?

  341. Thanks so much, say and Wesley, thanks so much. Let's

  342. do it be a recap on what just happened now, okay.

  343. Of course someone's having fun for those of you who

  344. never work before, you'll be like, what are you're talking about?

  345. For those of work, you've probably experienced this before. Okay,

  346. let's just talk about wise and unwise. Okay, because that's

  347. what the Bible is talking about. He's not talking about information,

  348. it's not talking about you know, he's talking about wise

  349. and unwise. Right, how is Wesley gonna make wise desis?

  350. And how would the wise decisions or unwise cessicians benefit

  351. or not benefit him? So just now we go one under?

  352. Why over promise, confirm cannot finish one? Isn't that unwise? Right? Unwise?

  353. Is it right? Or wrong? Not wrong? What boss asking

  354. when he said twenty four hours if he tries his best,

  355. he might fail. Definitely will fail on that. But that's unwise?

  356. But is it wrong? Wrong? That's not right? Wrong?

  357. Uh?

  358. He promised one month later? Was it a wrong promise?

  359. Some say yes, la, if you know la, but the

  360. boss don't know he can finish it two days? Right?

  361. But it was not wrong, but it was unreasonable. Someone

  362. mentioned you just now, isn't it unreasonable you really need

  363. one man thirty days to finish a two day project?

  364. Then you are uneffective? Right, you are totally uneffective. What

  365. about some that a lot of you say, yeah, yeah, yeah,

  366. two days? Two day is wise? Was the wise or unwise?

  367. Not really right? In an ideal world, when you're doing

  368. a math question, there is a correct answer. But in

  369. an unideal world, a person who's wise knows that something

  370. can go wrong. A person who's wise understands that I

  371. should underpromise or believer. But the one man who's so

  372. underpromised underpromised a bit too much? Right, it's unreasonable? What

  373. was a better answer? Three or four days? Let me

  374. ask you a question. If he asked for five days,

  375. would he still be considered a wise Susian? Yeah, sort of.

  376. If he asked for seven days, would it still be

  377. considered wise sedition? No? Some say no, some says actually

  378. are to be really honest, it's still quite reasonable. And

  379. if the boss needs to earlier that there should be

  380. what negotiation? Right just now? Wesley actually asked me this

  381. question because I know his accountant, so he asked more details.

  382. He said, the answer also depends on when is the deadline?

  383. Makes sense by the t him, don't worry about the dadline.

  384. But see even if the deadline is tomorrow, let let's

  385. play it out deadad lines tomorrow, but he know he

  386. needs two days. What is a wise answer to that situation? Boss,

  387. I'm so sorry. I cannot finish it. I need at

  388. least three days. If not, we have to find a solution.

  389. I cannot do it alone. Wouldn't that be a wiser

  390. answer or dead larning tomorrow? Okay? Okay? Can conditional? Okay, yeah, conditional,

  391. but just promise so that no conditions. That's unwise, right,

  392. isn't it unwise? Now? You understand when they say the

  393. foolish make decisions and lead them to a path of destruction,

  394. and how the wise will leave them to a path

  395. of righteousness. You'll see that. Not it's the same situation, guys.

  396. It's not like the boss is asking him to take

  397. drugs or anything and that no, or asking him to

  398. you know, bunch ups. You know sometimes when we think

  399. about this, are we only thing right and wrong? It's

  400. not about right or wrong. It's about are you wise

  401. or are you unwise? Your cash there are about wisdom.

  402. Just so I give that that picture to you for

  403. us to understand when you read the Bible Proverbs tree,

  404. just how we read Proverbs two right, Proverbs one and

  405. two establishes what is wisdom? Where does wisdom come from?

  406. Right and proverbs tree is the instructions that the father

  407. is like the instructions that the father is leaving his son.

  408. Instructions or wisdom sharing consequences of good things and bad

  409. if we follow or don't follow wisdom. For example, that

  410. that that that little exchange is for fun. Now, okay,

  411. I mean it's also real life because some of us

  412. experience it. But some of us who have made different decisions,

  413. and the decisions we have gotten us in trouble or

  414. you have been put putting us in a better standing.

  415. See wisdom right doesn't care whether or not the boss

  416. is nice or not. Wisdom doesn't care. It just tells

  417. you how to put yourself on a better path. You'll

  418. catch that the consequences of good things and bad if

  419. we follow don't follow wisdom. Let me give you another point.

  420. The Bible says that there is security in wisdom. We

  421. will have a long life if we are wise right. However,

  422. if we are foolish, we can shorten our lives. Can

  423. shorten our lives, and we should learn to live and

  424. be wise making wise decisions in life. The Bible also

  425. cautions us constantly do not walk in the path of

  426. the wicked. Probably Chapter four us Walk into sixteen says

  427. do not enter the path of the wicked and do

  428. not want in the way of evil. Okay, let me

  429. just pause you for a moment. If Wesley, okay, maybe

  430. changed them loud. If Bob, if Bob promise Fred, If

  431. Fred promises the boss one day even though he needs

  432. two days, was that a wicked thing? Yeah? Why was

  433. it a wicked thing? He lied? He gave the boss

  434. a false hope. Maybe the company really relied, and then

  435. suddenly Fred cannot deliver because of that, the whole company

  436. goes down. Where's that wicked? He's wicked? But see, we

  437. don't look at all these things. You know, we need

  438. to see unfair? Are it's so unfair? Why the boss

  439. give no? But but the Bible is not talking about

  440. that and no, guys, because if he told the boss Boss,

  441. I need three days, he was telling the truth. He

  442. was not lying. He was taying true. Whether the boss

  443. g accept or not, that's another thing. Then it will

  444. mean that the boss is wicked and not him. Then

  445. you want to work for a wicked boss. Think about it?

  446. Think about it. Wisdom. Right, we're talking about wisdom. Okay,

  447. we should make white decisions, friends, for what for our health,

  448. for our family, for our life. Proverb six warns us

  449. of many things we can take note off in our

  450. daily lives. You go and read proverb six. Many things

  451. in her daily life, many temptations and many pit falls. Right,

  452. he talks about adultery. It talks about the wicked man. Right,

  453. it talks about right the folly of indolence. Were very

  454. big word, okay, but it just means laziness. Go to

  455. the end, you, sluggard, consider her ways and be wise, which,

  456. having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in

  457. the summer and gathers her food in the harvest. How

  458. long will you slumber, or sluggard? When will you rise

  459. from your sleep? A little sleep, a little summer, a

  460. little folding of the hands to sleep? So shall your

  461. property come on you like a prowler? And you need

  462. like an armed man? If you don't work, if you

  463. don't work, if you don't work hard, don't expect anything.

  464. Isn't that wisdom, isn't it? With That's why there's security

  465. in wisdom, friends, There is right. There is security in wisdom.

  466. My encouragement for all of us here, please make wise decisions.

  467. The question we've got to ask ourselves is am I

  468. making a wise desision? Right? Let me go deeper a

  469. little bit, okay, Proverbs chapter eight. Oh before that, maybe

  470. backtrack a little bit, use myself as an example. Right, So,

  471. and our address, I will kind of address this to

  472. us believers that have been a believer for a long time.

  473. Maybe we believe that God can heal. Amen, God can heal,

  474. God can change things, He can move things around. But

  475. sometimes I consider this, if we are believers and we

  476. already have the Word of God with us, we have this.

  477. You know, this is realsity okay, And and we you know,

  478. it's kind of like you already have the excess. You

  479. can pray, you can do all these things. When I

  480. had my stent last year, and when I sat in

  481. front of the doctor, and when the doctor told me

  482. my condition, of course I prayed and asked God to

  483. have mercy on my lifelo. But did I one think, oh,

  484. this is from the devil. No, No, I had to

  485. take responsibility of my own health. This is all the

  486. oil food KFC. Bizarre that I ate in the past

  487. years thinking that, oh, the Lord preserves me because I'm

  488. doing his work right. Do you know how foolish that is?

  489. Because God also gave me a brain to think and

  490. a body to work. So I had to take responsibility

  491. one else I cannot blame someone that. I cannot blame

  492. anyone else though, but my own self law. So I

  493. had to take responsibility of my health and say, God,

  494. thank you for giving me a second chance. Now I

  495. better take responsibility. Now, I better do what I need

  496. to do. Because it is foolishness for me to think

  497. that just because I serve the Lord, that if I

  498. act foolishly, I will not reap the consequences of my actions.

  499. It is foolish. I need to be wise. God gave

  500. me a brain to think. God gave me experiences to

  501. learn from. We have to be careful. I'm not talking

  502. about having an illness that I have no controver that

  503. one I will pray and ask God to heal because

  504. I didn't ask for it. You'll see the difference on it.

  505. I'm not saying you can't pray that if something happens

  506. you please do pray, Please to trust by see if

  507. God give you a revelation, now act upon it. We

  508. cannot be ignorant, guys, we cannot. Oh God, I need

  509. you to provide for me financially, but you don't get

  510. to work. That is foolishness. Oh God, I need you

  511. to get me out of this, but you don't even

  512. border to apply for a job and work. Cannot work

  513. and do what you can, be wise. But if it's

  514. in a situation that you have no control over, God

  515. will come true for you. Don't be ignorant. Don't be ignorant, amen,

  516. that's my encouragement. If you know better, do a ready right,

  517. don't be ignorant? You know? And God is so kind

  518. to us. You know. I consider my current health situation

  519. now really by God's mercy. Because of my ignorance, I

  520. put myself in that situation. But thank God, things will

  521. found out quickly and I'm able to address it and

  522. work hard for it and not be ignorant anymore. Oh,

  523. you know you God can do it with me again

  524. near mine. You know, I got two more insurance policy

  525. so I can go for two months. Ten guys, can

  526. I can I share something personal to you? One of

  527. my motivating factors, right of doing what I'm doing now

  528. and passes who knows this? Because I become irritating to

  529. him every day. Ask everybody to work out on that's

  530. the first thing that day. Someone said, what someone said?

  531. They injured their leg? Oh, this quite bell. Oh I

  532. injured my leg by climbing out of the stairs. I

  533. love a person, young person, I said, you know, I

  534. will help you go to gym. You strengthen your bones

  535. and you won't get injured anymore. I spend one night

  536. in the ico is enough for me to say I

  537. will never do that again. It's not fun at all.

  538. Now I understand white people when they're on their deathbed.

  539. They don't want to be no hospital. I rather be

  540. at home. Now, I understand because I experienced it before.

  541. Right wisdom, wisdom? Imen? Oh but paselawn, you talk a

  542. lot about wisdom. Where can I get it from? You know?

  543. Where can I get what should I do? Well? The

  544. Bible thankfully shares with us how Proverbs chapter eight, verse thirteen.

  545. Let's read it, okay. It says here the fear of

  546. the Lord is to hate evil, pride and arrogance, and

  547. the evil way and the perverse mouth. I hate. It

  548. also says here problems eight thirty two. Now, therefore, listen

  549. to me, my children, For blessed are those who keep

  550. my ways, hear instruction, and be wise and do not

  551. disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me,

  552. watching daily and my gaze waiting at the pose of

  553. my doors. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains

  554. favor from the Lord. But he who sins against me

  555. wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.

  556. Let me paint this picture. We believe that God is

  557. the creator of the heavens on earth. Right, He created us.

  558. We are his creation. He has a specific plan for

  559. all of us. He wants a subject, he wants the kingdom.

  560. He gave us a redemption plan because we fail, Adam

  561. and he felt a long time ago. Okay, they go

  562. and listen to a Lilah basically, oh you know, you

  563. will be like God. But they already like God. They

  564. really mean in a menage of God. Right, so they

  565. listened to a lie. They fell, they suffered, But God

  566. had a redemption plan, which is Christ. Amen. He gave

  567. us that redemption plan so that we can come and

  568. we know who God is, and we are connected with him.

  569. That is the nature of our relationship. But don't you

  570. think that the person that created the God, that created

  571. the heavens and the earth, also, how to say, have

  572. a blueprint to how we should live life already even

  573. before Jesus. Have you thought about that before? You mean,

  574. the person that created the computer doesn't have a blueprint

  575. that everything is interpreted. No, I think that is really

  576. a blueprint. I think since day one, ready a God

  577. really had those rules in place. Ready you're following. You

  578. know that means that when we follow the wisdom of God,

  579. we will naturally live a life of abundance. It's not

  580. just about the relationship. The redemption of Christ is the

  581. relationship Him, the connection, right, but the life that we live.

  582. I give you one principle, sewing and reaping Christian or

  583. not Christian? Now it applies to you. It does. Why

  584. because it is a principle that God has set. I

  585. give you up principle. This is a very elementary. The

  586. sun will always come up and you'll be morning, and

  587. when it goes down it'll be night. The moon will

  588. always come up and we have night. Do you know

  589. that there is something that God has said a long

  590. time ago and it's still happening. Seventy is so simple.

  591. Yeah things God has say Now what happened once, whether

  592. we like it or not, whether we believe in it

  593. or not, whether oh no, lah cannot be no guys

  594. al realy, secrity really sety, you cannot find one. Right.

  595. So it talks about the fear of the Lord. Let

  596. me go to the last point. The fear of the

  597. Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of

  598. the Holy One is understanding for by me or days

  599. will be multiplied and years of life be added to you.

  600. If you are wise, you're wise for yourself, and you

  601. scope your burial. Okay, let me explain this a little bit.

  602. Why does the Bible say that the fear of the

  603. Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If we are living today, friends,

  604. we know understanding or knowledge that there is a higher

  605. power dictating our lives and dictating that things happen a

  606. certain way because of his rules. Then if we don't

  607. have that fear, then we will do whatever we want

  608. and we will think that that is right. But because

  609. like how a parent takes care of their child, sets

  610. the principles at home to wake up early, to go

  611. to school, to dress up in your uniform, although they

  612. hate it, to eat healthy food and not sweets all

  613. the time. It's very elementary, but we flip it around

  614. and apply it to your life as a doultar. Imagine

  615. your father in heaven. What are the rules or the

  616. principles you've said that we are not following, and we

  617. call it what we call it. We call it wisdom.

  618. You mean, if you eat sweets all the time, your

  619. teeth won't get messed up. You mean if you don't,

  620. if you don't eat vegetable and you eat meant all

  621. the time and eat fat all the time, you'll be

  622. fine white. Some of these things we understand, but when

  623. it comes to certain things, we don't get it out.

  624. You're are you're following me, I'm getting it. When we

  625. have the fear of the Lord and we have an

  626. understanding that that's our father in heaven up there, then

  627. we will start becoming wise because we will realize that

  628. we don't know everything. We will realize that there are

  629. some things we do for our own good, but we

  630. may not fully understand it. There are some things we

  631. understand that we have to trust. Our kids trust us

  632. right parents, and you know, parents some things they don't

  633. want to do, they don't follow, They're going to suffer later.

  634. That's foolishness, right. God knows so for us. That's why

  635. the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

  636. If you don't feel God right, you won't be wise.

  637. It's as simple as that. If you don't fear God

  638. and you do whatever you want, you won't be wise.

  639. And you're wondering, oh, why are like that? That's white

  640. people are foolish. They wonder why they are like that.

  641. But actually, you know, I hope I explaining properly. Are

  642. by being wise you already and if you really know

  643. the power of your hating are you're definitely not going

  644. to get in trouble. But do you realize that people

  645. who are foolish don't realize it trouble and they wonder

  646. why they're in trouble. That's why we got to fear God.

  647. We got to know that he's there. Right. Let me

  648. give you another truth that came out of this. It

  649. says in Problems chapter twelve, if you are wise, you

  650. are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you bury

  651. it alone. Okay. I used to not understand this but

  652. now I can't get it. I'm sharing a lot about wisdom. Friends,

  653. let me give you another revelation. This wisdom that I'm

  654. sharing a is for your benefit, not mine. I give

  655. you this example. If I am wise, you'll don't benefit

  656. one You know that, because if I'm wise, I benefit,

  657. because I'm making wise decisions for myself. Maybe my family benefits,

  658. maybe if they follow, also if they are wise enough

  659. to follow themselves. But if I am wise, I benefit.

  660. That's what the Bible means. So if you are wise,

  661. you benefit no one else. No, if you are unwiser,

  662. you suffer alone. Nobody else, you know, nobody else offers.

  663. So this whole thing about wisdom applies to you. You know,

  664. it's so directly with us. Oh, you know John is wise.

  665. I feel so blessed for what he wise. He'll be blessed.

  666. It doesn't affect me in one bit. Whether he's wise

  667. or not wise, it doesn't affect me in one bit.

  668. Right because if let's say we are friends or we

  669. are partners, and he's unwise, wouldn't a wise me say, okay, John,

  670. you know what I think maybe not a good ideala

  671. and you still want to do it. I think you

  672. see wisdom. But if I'm also unwise, Okayla, let's all

  673. suffer together. So wisdom is the only thing in our lives,

  674. one of the only things in our lives. Air that

  675. it only affects you when you do it. When you

  676. practice mercy and grace, it affects others. When you practice wisdom,

  677. it only affects you. This is what the Bible says.

  678. When you are wise, you are wise for yourself. But

  679. if you scoff, you know SCUFFI is. I'm trying to

  680. appreac this Na not Tranna, and find my life is fine.

  681. Half fear God. No need to fear God. God still

  682. loves me, no matter what, no matter why do God

  683. loves me right, no need to fear him. On when

  684. you scoff, you suffer yourself. So even when I'm sharying

  685. this right, I don't benefit anything of it. I mean

  686. I benefit for myself and I hope you will benefit.

  687. But you give what I mean right. I want to

  688. encourage you to read Problems because from Problems chapter ten

  689. all the Way to Problems chapter thirty one is the

  690. wisdom of King Solomon and what he learns from the Lord.

  691. He wrote it down. Okay, let me just have fun. Now,

  692. read a few scripture and see whever we can relate

  693. to it or not. Can just one or two? I

  694. saw I was sleeping and I saw one just now. Yeah,

  695. it says here Proverbs, chapter fifteen, verse one. A soft

  696. answer turns away wrath, but a harsh tongue, a harsh

  697. word stirs up anger. How many of you have applied

  698. this to your life? I have applied this many times,

  699. especially my wife and I borne the consequences of good

  700. when I learned to have a soft answer. Right, let

  701. me read another one seventeen. Okay, approach chest to say

  702. event thing was one. Better is a dry muscle with

  703. quietness than a house full of fisting with strife. You'll

  704. get that better is a d It just means, right, guys,

  705. that I rather just eat Guardinia bread at home with

  706. a happy family, then able to go to high Delau

  707. and we are fighting all the time. You should you

  708. prefer Hi delaw and fighting or Guardiania? Okay? My wife,

  709. my son wants wants to wants to fight anyway. You're you're, you're,

  710. you're getti and no, I don't know. I hope I've

  711. displayed enough right to show you that if you want

  712. to live a life of righteousness, a life of uprightness, alive,

  713. full of God's goodness in your life, right that you've

  714. got to be wise. They got to read the word.

  715. You don't know near mine, You don't have enough ination

  716. near mind. Read Proverbs. Proverbs is so much full of

  717. wisdom right. Number sixteen says the preparations of the heart

  718. belongs to men, But the answer of the tongue is

  719. from the Lord. Meantime, you can prepare all you want to,

  720. but God decides, but you still need to prepare her. Right,

  721. let me read one more. The simple believes every word,

  722. but the prudence considers, well he steps Are you easily believable? Oh? Sorry?

  723. Are you? Do you believe things easy? Wear one word?

  724. Or someone said gullible or naive? Right, it says here

  725. in verse eighteen or seventeen, a quick tempered man acts foolishly,

  726. and a man of wicked intentions is hated. How many

  727. of you here panas baran very fastened be were careful?

  728. And number eighteen says the simple inherit folly, But the

  729. prudent are crowned with knowledge. The evil will bar before

  730. the good and the wicked at the gates of righteousness. Friends,

  731. I hope I've given you enough for you to want

  732. to decide to seek wisdom today more than anything, more

  733. than ambition, more than or I want to do what's

  734. right now, wisdom in your life, make right decisions. Do

  735. you know that? Well? I believe that when you are wise,

  736. and when we have a church there is wise, the

  737. church will be blessed. You know why you will be blessed.

  738. You know, we will have less headache. Paster still will

  739. probably have less haitdache. John will probably have less headache.

  740. When everybody's wiser. Yeah, I mean when we are less impulsive,

  741. when we are less Oh you want it like that

  742. or no, No, when we have understanding, we will have

  743. less headache. We will have peace. Are you seeing what

  744. I'm seeing? God's promises will come to you when you're wise,

  745. when you seek him. So let's seek wisdom in our lives. Firstly,

  746. to fear the Lord and to hate evil, to seek

  747. the Lord and to walk the paths of righteousness, even

  748. if it's difficult. It's not going to be easy. For

  749. being wise doesn't mean that things are going to be easy,

  750. means that you're going to be making. Some of you

  751. will have to make difficult decisions for the future, not

  752. for now now difficult maybe because of a foolish decision.

  753. You're stuck in this place, but no more. Stop making

  754. the foolish decisions and digging your grave or digging the

  755. pit deeper. Stop it. Time to live wise and when

  756. you do that, you're setting yourself up for success. You know,

  757. we talk about missions, We talk about we were going

  758. through missions in homes last week, right for those who

  759. will go homes. You know, one of the promises that

  760. God has given us and we have to and it

  761. something I well, not just believe, but it is trueflower, okay,

  762. And I think there's a lot of wisdom and in

  763. it is that they talk about the blessing of Abraham.

  764. The Abraham make blessing already Christianists, right to me, is

  765. very simple. If you want to be a blessing to

  766. other people are don't you think you need to be

  767. blessed first? Someone who has issues in their life are

  768. very hard to advise people and conor. Someone who is

  769. in a place of strength can help another person that's weak.

  770. Someone who has plenty can help those with none. The

  771. one that have nothing, very hard to help those with none,

  772. the one who's still going through their own problems very hard.

  773. To advise another person very difficult. So my belief is

  774. that God wants everybody to experience freedom in your lives.

  775. Because when you experience your freedom, whether it's freedom in

  776. your finances, whether it's freedom in your own mental health

  777. or your heart and peace, you can be a love

  778. strength to someone else. But where does this freedom come from? Christ? Christ?

  779. We are made whole in Christ. He has given us

  780. the victory. And with the victory that we have, we

  781. can extend a hand to other people. That is the

  782. blessing of Abraham, not just about money you need. That
