  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Let me ask us a question this afternoon. Do we

  4. see signs to test God? Just just again, don't don't don't, don't,

  5. don't feel out, okay, And one there's no condemnation in Christ.

  6. But we want to grow in our faith. Okay. So

  7. the first question is do we see signs to test God?

  8. When God has already spoken? Why do we steal six signs?

  9. Don't you think God has spoken to them? Really loud

  10. and clear, guys, is loud and clear? God? See you

  11. show me a sign? God, you show me first. The

  12. bank account must not do it first? Then here I

  13. do right, you show me first? Right, show my show more? Right?

  14. Of course you can say, oh, pastill, what about Ginan?

  15. They asked for a sign? Well he did. He asked

  16. for a sign because he was gonna do something crazy.

  17. And he didn't ask for a sign to you know,

  18. like like resource sign he asked for Like God, if

  19. you really own me to do this, you better show

  20. me because my life is on the line. He's a

  21. different kind of sign. Right, and and and you know

  22. God has already shown and not just that. How did

  23. Jesus rebuke them? He said, you can discern the weather.

  24. You can discern the weather, Yet you still look for

  25. signs to prove his legitimacy. He's very powerful thing. Right,

  26. So are we seeking for science? Friends? Today? Are you

  27. still seeking for signs from Jesus or from the Lord?

  28. Are you still asking God? God? Why am I here

  29. in this church? Right? We got to think about that. Right,

  30. let's continue reading. Okay, we'll do it. Bere a Bible study. Okay.

  31. Verse FIVEE says, now, when his disciples had come to

  32. the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. Why

  33. forget to take bread? Right? But he didn't forget. Then

  34. Jesus said to them, take kid and beware of the

  35. leaven of the Pharisees and the saddle seas. And then

  36. the reason among themselves, saying, is it because we have

  37. forgotten to take bread? Why, sonny you talk about the

  38. leaven of the Pharisees and setle sees Jesus. But Jesus,

  39. being aware of it, said to them, oh, your little faith,

  40. why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought

  41. no bread? Do you not yet understand or remember the

  42. five loaves? Of the five thousand and how many baskets

  43. you took up, not the seven loaves of the four

  44. thousand and how many large baskets you took up. How

  45. is it you do not understand that I do not

  46. speak to you concerning bread, but beware of the leaven

  47. of the Pharisees and the settle seas. Then they understood

  48. that he did not tell them to beware of the

  49. leaven of the bread, but of the doctrine of the

  50. Pharisees and setle seas. Okay, wow, a lot to unpack here,

  51. a lot on pack. So my first point is are

  52. we seeking signs? Second point, beware of the leaven of

  53. the Pharisees and the setle seas. I'll just go straight together.

  54. As believers, we got to be aware of the doctrine

  55. of others who do not proclaim Christ as the son

  56. of God. Uh? What you mean by that? Today's age,

  57. there are a lot of different beliefs. Looks same same

  58. by here, very different, looks same same by here. Every friend,

  59. you've got to be were careful. A lot of things

  60. online you see not correct. One No, a lot of

  61. preachers you preach not correct. Just that day I saw

  62. something that a preacher, you know, shot realm or sounds correct.

  63. I go and share. Then someone had to text me

  64. and say say, hey, brother, this guy is from don't

  65. know what, don't know what, don't know what what second,

  66. don't know what you might not want to And I'm like, immediately,

  67. oh sorry, I didn't know immediately to get down. You know,

  68. we got to be very careful with what we hear online. Right,

  69. it sounds correct, but sounding correct and not going back

  70. to the word now is very wrong. We got to

  71. be were careful. You also got to be wever careful

  72. nowadays with what you like to hear, because a lot

  73. of times we like to hear a lot of things,

  74. but it's not according to the world of God. So

  75. we got to be were careful. Right. The Pharisees and

  76. seattle Sees they do not admit the miracles of God. Right,

  77. And not only just that, we also got to be

  78. beware of being distracted on worrying about things that God

  79. can provide. You know, they were more occupied with oh

  80. we didn't bring bread, and then jus like, hey, guys,

  81. I just did two miracles. Hello, hello, I just did

  82. two miracles. Why you're so worried about bread. I'm not

  83. talking about that, right, you know, and and and you

  84. know we can come to a place right as believers

  85. sometimes are that our logical minor takes over the faith

  86. effect of our lives. We can't, we can't, we can't

  87. or we can logify our our situation. Okay, I'm creating

  88. new words here. Please don't don't quote me on this. Ah.

  89. We gotta be careful, guys. That that's my my caution.

  90. Be wary. Right, the disciples actually forgot about the miracle

  91. that Jesus fed the five thousand and the four thousand,

  92. and they were just preoccupied with the break they forgot.

  93. So there are things that can distract us, right, and

  94. it's life. You know. We can be worried about our finance,

  95. you can worry about career, can be worry about all

  96. these things. But God said sick ye first, the King

  97. of God, and all should be aded unto you. Shouldn't

  98. we have that confidence as believers? Right? If not, then

  99. why do we believe in things like that? Oh? You know,

  100. it's just speaking mumbo jumbola. You know you're not you're

  101. not reasonable but alving, you're not logical, well believing in

  102. Jed is not logical. You mean a guy that died

  103. five thousand years ago died for my sins and all

  104. I need to do is accept him, my Lord, and

  105. say it, and I'm redeemed and I've eternal life. Is

  106. that logic to you? It's not. But it's the truth.

  107. It is the truth? Is it real? It is? Why

  108. experience the evidence? Talk to anyone here, I'm sure they've

  109. experienced God one way or another in their life. And

  110. if you have not, I pray that you will. I

  111. pray that you will. I've spoken to a young looking

  112. about recently and I asked, and the person is looking

  113. for an answer, and I'm like why, how? And end?

  114. And the funny the funny thing is the young reminded

  115. me how he accepted Christ because God killed him of

  116. an impossible sickness and he was healed, and from that

  117. time onwards until now he still believed. But then now

  118. he's still looking for answer. I'm like, what a you're

  119. looking for? Answer? God done it ready? God did it ready.

  120. You still need more convincing, you still need more science.

  121. You don't need science. You just need to follow him

  122. and God will reveal. You just need to trust in God,

  123. and God will reveal. Right. We got to remember it's

  124. not about a miracle, but the one who made the

  125. miracle happen. It's not about the gift, but the one

  126. who gave the gift. Sometimes we can also come to

  127. a place where we are too preoccupied with the testimony,

  128. not realizing that actually God has something bigger. Right, It's

  129. always about the character of God and not the gifts

  130. of God. When we talk about a testimony, when we

  131. talk about, Hey, God, he's doing something in my life.

  132. We have confidence over the character of God, not confidence

  133. over Oh you can do it right, Like, let me

  134. just use Daniel's example, right, My confidence with Daniel is

  135. not on his skill set. It is on him as

  136. a friend that even if he doesn't know or doesn't

  137. know how, because he's my friend, I know he will

  138. get it done whatever. Okay, But what is our confidence

  139. on Is it just the power or is it on

  140. the character? The Bible talks about the character of God.

  141. The Bible talks about God. He doesn't change no matter what,

  142. He is the same forever. More. It means, no matter

  143. how bad your life isn't you know that God is

  144. so good to you? It's a time you realize we

  145. have to go deeper. No in this area, you mean

  146. you mean God is fickle minded? You mean if I

  147. accidentally say something wrong, immediately he's going to Or is

  148. that the perspective that we have of God? Or that's

  149. such a wrong perspective. Read the Bible you will get

  150. the right perspective. Read the Bible. Go deeper than you

  151. understand who God is in your life. He's got the Father,

  152. abba Father in heaven. You're gonna remember that. And no, guys, amen,

  153. So Jesus did it twice and they forgot. That's the

  154. problem with people. We forget. The Israelites. Let's use us.

  155. Let's use them for an example. They were in the

  156. desert for forty years and forty eight he they only

  157. needed to make a two month trip. They were there

  158. for forty years, wife, because it was not about the trip,

  159. it was about your hearts. What does this speak of

  160. a person's character when you can come up to Let's

  161. say I go to that and say, Dan, you know

  162. what we are suffering so much here? Right? Oh man,

  163. it's so hard. Right, send us back to Egypt. At

  164. least there we got fruits. We rather go back to

  165. slavery because we eating mana every day and he's very boring.

  166. How nonsense it is, How nonsense it is. I rather

  167. go back to a worse situation, because at least in

  168. with a tyrant, they forgot how easy it is to

  169. forget things. Friends, don't forget the testimonies that God has

  170. done in your life, big or small. Remember, if Fenno

  171. didn't remember the testimony, he wouldn't be trusting God to

  172. you know, to add the glasses now and now he

  173. can stand here and share. I mean it may not

  174. be a glass, it may be something more valuable to you.

  175. And you realize that if God can answer him. I

  176. love the way he said, if God can answer him,

  177. he will do it for me. How many of us

  178. need you believe in that if God can do it

  179. for him, he can do it for me. What's the difference?

  180. You mean that's a difference. There's no difference. Were all

  181. his children. There's no difference. We're all his children. So

  182. don't forget the testimonies that God has done in your life.

  183. Write it down, put it down. Don't be forgetful. You mean, God,

  184. can you know, provide for my marriage? Last time? When

  185. I want to get married, and I got not just

  186. provided by God an excess of twenty thousand. You mean

  187. now he cannot do the same. Oh no, the time

  188. I'm more holy? No, I'm not so holy? Hello, friends,

  189. which lie are we? Believing? God never changed? You know?

  190. You know who changed? We change? You know who called?

  191. We call? You know who less connected? We not him?

  192. He's the same. That's why the Bible says, you know,

  193. the if any of us here cannot here, okay, the

  194. time he said bring the little children to me, anyone here,

  195. all the more adult, more mature, more experiencer, can have

  196. faith like any of them, You'll be done to them?

  197. Why because kids we believe? Or no? I always ask

  198. my kids to pray for me because I know I

  199. would listen to them because I will have doubts. Oh,

  200. pray and then after that do nola? Maybe got one answer?

  201. That's the problem in maturity, well, not maturity knowing too much? Time?

  202. We know too much? And friends, can I encourage you?

  203. Don't just rely on old testimonies? Believe God for new ones?

  204. But can I also question you when you ask for

  205. new ones? He's exciting, Wanna he's exciting Wana exciting? Not

  206. so funner, right, don't just rely on the old. He

  207. will work. He's working in our lives. We will not

  208. just be encouraged with living the abandoned life, but also

  209. be used by God as witnesses to his wondrous works

  210. in our lives. You know, X one en, It says,

  211. but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has

  212. come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me

  213. in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and Samaria and to

  214. the end of the earth. Okay, let me give you

  215. this perspective. Why am I convinced I? Why am I

  216. convinced that God will answer your prayers? God will do

  217. things in your life no matter where you're at, as

  218. long as you call upon the Lord Jesus Christ, and

  219. you say, this is my Lord, Jesus Christ. I believe

  220. in him. And when you call upon him for prayer,

  221. when you call upon him for for different things, why

  222. will he answer you? You mean, oh, no, he will

  223. only I only answer the prayers of the leaders on

  224. it because we are faithful. I don't matter you're believing

  225. that if yet, pleasir, that's not right now. No, he

  226. will answer the prayers of any of his children. The

  227. medal way. Why because when He works in your life,

  228. it's not just for you. You have no choice but

  229. to share. That's the money here, and you encourage someone else.

  230. That is why God works in your life. Not no,

  231. does he still love Edward? Yes he does? But does

  232. he still want to do the best for him? Right?

  233. Yes he does, but it's not just for him, It's

  234. for the rest of the family. That's why I am

  235. convinced that God will answer a prayer if you're trust

  236. in Him and you pray to him. It's not how

  237. power you are. Everyone here can receive God because we

  238. will receive power from up high so that we can

  239. be witness so that someone who does not know Jesus

  240. knows that he's working in hours life. No stairs working

  241. in my life, knows Stay's working in your life. Because

  242. your testimony is yours wife, nobody can dispute you, know

  243. they cannot. They can dispute love, but you will be convinced.

  244. Don't you think that it's power that you have a testimony.

  245. This is why I encourage people to believe God for

  246. new testimonies, right because God will use you. Let me

  247. share you a fresh testimony. Yesterday I met up with

  248. my father, my wife, with this couple, so special needs, right, Okay,

  249. So long storyline okay, but the short story is I

  250. have an eldest son who has autism. Autism. Okay, he's

  251. doing very well. He's again yea, now praise God. Okay, Yeah,

  252. we're trying it out and he's doing very well. Okay,

  253. in yah, praisecot. Before that, he was an inclusive school. Okay,

  254. long story. And in twenty eighteen, when we already came

  255. to a point where we said, okay, Lord we will

  256. do whatever you know, God impressed upon my heart to

  257. start helping other families. Okay again, Now I'm very busy, Okay,

  258. It's not like I always have. It's like I'm having

  259. two jobs at that now, like, oh you do this

  260. to me okay, uh and and and and and also

  261. because of our our weaknesses, we feel like, Lord, you

  262. use this for your gloria. Okay, I'll just obey, just

  263. being obedient, right, And I'm just and I'm not expert.

  264. Can I be honest? I'm not expert. I'm only an

  265. expert my own experience, right, And sotimes when I'm in

  266. this space, I feel a bit intimidated. I always clarify

  267. like I got this thing and uh, this is just

  268. my own experience, right, But somehow God has opened up

  269. doors for me to talk to other parents. I never

  270. asked enough. So yesterday I was connected with someone randomly

  271. saw the conference message me on Facebook, super random, and

  272. I don't know this person, and I'm like, who's this person?

  273. And then of course you check profile o you know,

  274. uh and uh three friends or extra just for us,

  275. and then he was asked me, let's go meet down

  276. and up there? Like okay, right then not not I

  277. mean no church paper but not here, you know, somewhere

  278. else and they want to come for the conference but

  279. can't so you know, but want to meet up. So

  280. I'm like, okay, So I go and of course do

  281. my own uh you know, investigation now pascesah, who's this?

  282. They know you? And all then apparently used to be

  283. used to come to acts then travel here, travel there anyway,

  284. long story shot, might not be them, you know. I

  285. dragged my wife along. She did, she didn't want to

  286. be there, but anyway, I tracked it along. I said,

  287. please come with me, you know, because together, okay together?

  288. And I didn't know what to expect after pray. We

  289. went just see them and can let's just see and

  290. see what happens last right, And and we had a

  291. very good conversation. It was very very they it was

  292. a number one. They were friendly, Number two, day were genuine.

  293. Number three they just wanted to connect, you know, and

  294. they're basing Penang. And and basically after the conversation, uh,

  295. the feedback that they gave us, we talked from supposed

  296. to en it to the tea and they're at three

  297. fifteen right from like from one time and we met

  298. a twelve twelfter tea, so talk, Well we gotta go

  299. then talk, gotta go then talk and and then they

  300. were like, you know, thank you so much for meeting.

  301. You are the one of the only couples that were

  302. very open to share where you all went through and

  303. how y'all are able to you know, deal with different things.

  304. And we're very thankful because they're looking for that. They

  305. realized that a lot of people are not open. Right.

  306. I won't blame them not open. I understand, Okay, I've

  307. been there once, right, and not just that. The funny

  308. thing was the husband and at first I'm very like guarded, like, oh,

  309. you know, right, but after a whiles with it's very funny.

  310. He's like, you know, I want to thank you for

  311. a lot of things, but the one thing you said

  312. or really touched me that this thing you said there,

  313. I'm like, wow, like preaching. I was like, okay, great,

  314. you know, great, there you are getting something out of this.

  315. You know, guys, I will never meet this car. I

  316. probably might not even meet this couple again. I mean

  317. from from strangers became like, hey, we should connect and

  318. the next time we come to beang and we might

  319. meet and stuff like that. And let that's not if

  320. you need any help and will try and help you,

  321. you know. And they're on your journey okay. Uh. And

  322. and they're in a very good place, you know. I

  323. I me and my wife said, yeah, I think you

  324. guys are a very good place. Just keep it up.

  325. Just keep doing what you're doing, you know. Uh. And

  326. and it was very interesting because right I didn't ask

  327. to do this, now, guys, I didn't pray and then lord,

  328. you know, but throughe just a story and true like okay,

  329. I just meet and see what happens. We we had

  330. a very good conversation and we're like, wow, praise God,

  331. you know, thank God that they were blessed, you know,

  332. and and and hopefully they will grow and hopefully they

  333. will progress as a family. You know, it's a long journey,

  334. but hopefully they will progress. So this Scripture X one

  335. it right the way I see that he's very different now,

  336. you know, it's true your own story and testimony. And again,

  337. you don't have to be a parent of especialist heil

  338. to have these guys. Please are donna I go in

  339. the dot one? You know, if really God progressed your heart,

  340. please do. But but but anyway, it's funny, not funny

  341. anyway we can laugh about you. We are witnesses for

  342. him to proclaim his good works in our lives. That

  343. is amazing. That's how or why Christians should live a

  344. life of faith and testimony. You can't please God now

  345. without faith. One, it takes faith. Faith equals risk. Okay, right, friends,

  346. Perception is a very powerful thing. Okay, let's read further.

  347. Matthew Chapter sixteen, verse thirteen to nineteen. Then Jesus came

  348. into the region of Cinceria PHILIPI. He asked his disciples, saying,

  349. why do men say that I the son of man? Am, who? Sorry, who?

  350. Who do men say that I the son of Man am?

  351. So they say, some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah,

  352. and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. And then

  353. he asked him this question again perspective, but who do

  354. you say I am? And then Simon Peter, the noisiest,

  355. most robust guy always find himself in trouble, one stand

  356. up confidently and say it you are Christ, the son

  357. of the Living God. Wow, so Tama this word so

  358. so much Gatza No, your Christ, son of Living God.

  359. I can just imagine, Simon Peter do that. Jesus unswaerd

  360. and said to him, blessed are you Simon bar Jona,

  361. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you,

  362. but my Father who is in heaven. And I also

  363. say to you that you are You are, Peter, And

  364. on this rock I will build my church, and the

  365. gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Now give

  366. you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you

  367. bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever

  368. you lose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Who

  369. do we see Christ as, how do we perceive our

  370. faith in Christ. Is he a goddess far far away,

  371. far far away. When I was younger, I perceive him?

  372. Is that my prayer as a believer last time when

  373. I was younger, all same on same prayer, Lord, please

  374. best my family the everyday same thing, la, you know,

  375. like like like doing the rosary thing? Right? But now

  376. I see Christ as God. That is close having a relationship.

  377. Why do we encourage people to do their quiet time?

  378. Because if you don't build a relationship with God, you

  379. want know who he is. It is very hard to

  380. know someone through someone else's You know you are married, right.

  381. Imagine if you get to know the other true joy,

  382. he's sitting in the middle. You don't talk to her,

  383. You only talk to him. Weird, right, we'll laugh about it. Right,

  384. But if you rely on on the leader here or

  385. the person here to know God, now it's like that, lah,

  386. you mean it's happening. You want to know someone, you

  387. gotta know them personally. Right. If I want to date

  388. my wife, I have to know her personally. I cannot

  389. you send a message? Weird? No, you know how weird

  390. that is. Similarly, we need to know God, We need

  391. to know Christ ourself. Not true second at hand information

  392. you need to know He is ourself. Theme asks us

  393. another question about perception. You know, I know a lot

  394. of you here are part of a home is great right,

  395. and a lot of you here may be serving as

  396. leaders and all. But let me ask you a powerful

  397. question to answer. But ask you, do we know and

  398. see the purpose we have in this family of God,

  399. this church? Do you know that it's not by chance

  400. that you're here? It is not by chance that I'm here.

  401. It is not if we really believe that God is

  402. in control of everything else. Don't you think that there's

  403. a reason why you are in Malaysia? That it was

  404. because God destined you to be here. If not, now

  405. you won't be born here. Guys, newsflash, newsflash, So fast

  406. to want to change things, move things around. You know,

  407. if God really asks you go overseas and I'll go ahead,

  408. go ahead, okay, if God asks you to right. But

  409. if we are here, there has to be a reason.

  410. Why have we asked God that reason yet? Or are

  411. we looking elsewhere? That's my perspective, very important perspective, very important. Right,

  412. do we see that God is the one who let

  413. us here to this church and his family? Big thing.

  414. Oh no, Actually, I come here across got a lot

  415. of preticus. That's your reason. My God is bigger than that.

  416. That's what I believe. Okay, there has to be a

  417. reason here. Some you here who found a wife and

  418. mary here you know. Oh yeah, yeah, I got reason. Now, No,

  419. it's beyond that. It's beyond that. Can can show the video.

  420. So there's a video that I want to show just

  421. for fun. No, he's not for fun none. Sorry, I

  422. must apologizer. My apology is now because I started gimming, right,

  423. I definitely got some gym reference, So I apologize. That's gay. Yeah,

  424. but we watched this. Yeah. Oh anyway, I'm just gonna

  425. pressure coach el but he say he'll join me tomorrow. Yeah,

  426. so I tell your office. Okay, well I know if

  427. you if you don't make it's playing one of these days.

  428. Huh huh, okay, coach so bad Kenna Ken, Yeah, let's

  429. watch the video Aspectifa. You know what I noticed not

  430. too long ago. Me and Sakoi go to the same gym.

  431. Me and Sakoi lift the same weights, different sizes.

  432. Me and sa COI listen.

  433. To the same music over the speakers at the gym.

  434. How come, me and Zaki don't look the same. How

  435. come we look different? It's the gym's fault. It's the

  436. white's fault.

  437. Now when he watches, when he leaves the gym, he

  438. takes the gym with him. Listen, when he leaves the gym,

  439. he goes. I went to the gym, so I can't

  440. eat that. I went to the gym, so I can't

  441. do that when I leave, I want the gym to

  442. justify the rest of my week. Well, I went to

  443. the gym, so I can't eat that. I went to

  444. the gym, so I can't do that.

  445. You've ever been to the same church, had different faith.

  446. I read the same Bible. How come you have faith

  447. for miracles and I don't. How come you've got think

  448. that I don't. It's not God's fat, it's not the

  449. church's father. It's not the Bible's fault. The worship song

  450. is not He lets the gym change his life. I

  451. use the gym to justify my life.

  452. Share this video so the truth can reach more.

  453. Short video about Buffulo. Perspective. It's very important. Perspective is

  454. very important. We can be the same place, Okay, look

  455. at things very differently. When we have the right perspective.

  456. That's why it was rare powerful. No, what do everybody say?

  457. I am? Oh? These that is that? Not bad stuff?

  458. No good stuff, not bad? Not bad, brother Elijah, not bad?

  459. Who do you see? I am the son? Of course,

  460. perspective is very important. You can make uprate you this.

  461. I actually said that. I'm like, wow, this is so

  462. mind blowing, right, mind blowing. Can I give you another

  463. word of caution. Discouragements are really powerful. I've experienced this. Okay.

  464. Do you know that discouragements can derail you from your destiny?

  465. You can? You can, you can totally derail you from

  466. your destiny. We got to really be careful of discouragements

  467. and be wary of how we see things, right. We

  468. have to. We have to guard ourselves. You know. The

  469. Bible askers to guard our hearts. Guarding, you know, guarding

  470. means garding means s friending of things that are not good. No,

  471. you know, now one of the things that I've been doing,

  472. or more like, realize I have to do more as

  473. a parent. I don't think I'm a very strict parent.

  474. My kids won't agree that, okay, but I don't think

  475. i'm a very strict parent. You know, I let them

  476. do quite a lot of things. But beging to realize

  477. certain I won't use names, but certain media channels are

  478. not so healthy, not so healthy. Just that day, I

  479. just saw one media channel, uh, you know, kids channel, okay,

  480. and there was a show that my kids liked to

  481. wash and he was talking about history and then you're

  482. talking about Roman history, and then it was touching a

  483. lot of things. And I'm like, I got a shot

  484. know that they're actually teaching these two kids. And I'm like, hey, hello,

  485. cannot watch it. Ela. I immediately, Ben, I see these things.

  486. I amliate boys no more, you know. Uh. And and

  487. and they were thankfully they were they were they were

  488. followla you know, because something we think, oh no, life,

  489. it's okay, li is very harmless. Lah oh no, no, no,

  490. we need to be progressive. If I really don't like

  491. that word, I really don't like that word. Very dangerous

  492. word to use. Okay, we need to be relevant. Another

  493. word that's very dangerous. Friends. The Bible is relevant until today.

  494. It is still relevant. The word of God, the truth

  495. of God is still relevant. Must remember that relevant. It's

  496. not just outside, it's not just expression. It is what's inside.

  497. But we were careful, you know, with that, So don't

  498. be careful. I can't say don't be discourage because we

  499. will be discourage, right, But we've got to be wary

  500. of discouragement. I just share a personal story, right. So

  501. I had a ministry meeting recently and it was very weird, Okay,

  502. very weird because it was the first time in my

  503. life I felt overwhelmed. Like this word overwhelmed, right, I

  504. never experienced it before. I never experience how overwhelmed. No, lie, stress, god, busy, god,

  505. you know, worried, God, overwhelmed, never know. But as the

  506. meeting progress, it was a good meeting, right, talk about

  507. good stuff. But I really felt overwhelmed. No, it was

  508. really the first time I felt like it. You know,

  509. I felt like I felt like I was the only

  510. one who was doing most, if not all, of the work.

  511. I'm gonna feel like that before. At home, you're the

  512. only one doing all the chores. I wish my husband

  513. would pick up things, but he's you know, it's not

  514. doing anything. Gossip boys don't learn. That's why we heard

  515. just now that's not truer anyway. Oh no, after this,

  516. not be able to come here an well, if not

  517. all the work or at least relying on to make

  518. sure it's done, I felt like the weights on my shoulders. Again,

  519. this are all not true, our guys, but it was

  520. a feeling. Well, immediately I felt like quit. Think, you

  521. know what if I'm not here? Then you see, LA,

  522. don't appreciate me. You know something, We have things like

  523. thoughts like that not so healthy, la, Right, you know

  524. I quit only you know then you see that whether

  525. you know, you will see it happened. Actually you can

  526. see it happened. None of us in dispensable. If I quit,

  527. I think it'll see it happened, you know, because God

  528. is bigger than me, right, or like I just don't

  529. do it? Lah? Okay. It affected me for a few

  530. hours long, Guys, I couldn't shake the feeling off. Right.

  531. But the next day, just the next day, God renewed

  532. my vision. He changed my perspective. He made me realize, right,

  533. the expectations that I had over myself and it thought

  534. changed not by outlook but my response to what I felt.

  535. You're so weird, overwhelmed, overwhelmed valid? Okay, the way we

  536. use valid fear of stress. Just next day that's why

  537. are the House of God to me is very powerful.

  538. Because what happened the next day Sunday service, how they

  539. got changed my perspective. I was just worshiping, and then

  540. God opened my eyes, say hello, why are you thinking

  541. this way? Why are you being so selfish? Why are

  542. you do you think you're so big with it? Only

  543. God can say that again, anyone say that you're like? Oh,

  544. I like you quit lie. He changed my perspective and

  545. then I said, he showed me you know that. Hey,

  546. why why do you think that you're You're not the

  547. only one. You're not the only one. Why do you

  548. say you're the only one? You're not. In fact, there's

  549. no expectation for you to complete everything. There was a

  550. realization I had, and then he asked me this question,

  551. Why are you doing what you're doing? Elvin. He brought

  552. me back to the time where I said, Lord, I

  553. will serve you because Jesus died for me. I answered

  554. God's call and I decided to follow him. That is

  555. why I'm here. Wow, the're you a powerful man. God,

  556. bring you all the way back to the beginning, all

  557. the way back to the beginning. Why are you doing this?

  558. You remember or not? I remember? And then I realized,

  559. this is the change your perspective. I cannot do it

  560. without him, I think all my shoulders, no, no, no, no, no, Hello,

  561. in my weakness, He's made strong. I cannot do it

  562. only through Christ. And if Christ don't move, it won't happen.

  563. Because only through Christ this can be done. Big difference

  564. of perspective. Well, all on me, all my strength. And

  565. then suddenly God say, hello, take my burden because it

  566. is light. Why are you going to pull the thing yourself?

  567. You are entrusted with this, but you're doing it for me,

  568. so I will help you. Lah, Why are you so stressed?

  569. That's the conversation God had with me, you know. And

  570. then I well, I kind of know this truth for

  571. it now I'm like, okay, Lord, I'm sorry. I was discouraged.

  572. I almost derailed from my destiny. Right. Did the circumstance change? No,

  573. didn't change? Still all over to do? Right? Did the

  574. resources changed? Nope? Did? I say? Oh? You know? And

  575. then the next day suddenly ten people sign up. Nothing

  576. still me? Well not really still God, I am just submitting.

  577. I'm just being obedient. I'm just doing what God is

  578. asking me. To do and trust him to come true.

  579. No circumstantial change from my heart, change my perspective change.

  580. Let me show you something and I'll probably need some help.

  581. I just want I'll show you this, uh you know,

  582. little and then any end soon. Really Okay, the guys okay,

  583. can I okay? You can see you not? Okay? Yeah? Thanks?

  584. So I this is something that yeah, this is something

  585. that uh we we may be familiar with in terms

  586. of the expression for it. You don't understand the expression

  587. glass half full, glass half fool, you understand, right? And

  588. then they say, oh, you know, if you're optimistic, you'll

  589. see it half full. And then if you're bessimistake, you'll

  590. see it half empty. Corner, let me give you another perspective.

  591. All this so a lot of times, right, some of

  592. us here, you know, if we are well optimistic, we'll

  593. see it as oh, this glass is half full of

  594. good lah right, and then and then a lot of

  595. times we can see it's half empty. Imagine now, if

  596. you go to Mama and then they you buy a

  597. cup of Mama and it costs twineering it and they

  598. serve you this, what are you gonna say, Hey, hello,

  599. you bluffing me it right, And a lot of times

  600. in life, right, we go through life like that? No? Right,

  601. I deserve more, I need more? Why am I short change?

  602. Why am I not getting what I need to get? Lord?

  603. I serve you so hard, and then yet it's still

  604. like that? Why not realizing that actually, when we humble ourselves,

  605. when we become smaller, God can actually fill our cup?

  606. Change your perspective? Now he paid to a neering it

  607. for this. Okay, right now you're let no, you can't

  608. agree me, no, But do you see the difference? Now?

  609. Is he half four? Half empty? He's almost full? Isn't

  610. it a good thing? Isn't it a good thing? Humble ourselves?

  611. You want to know what's powerful some of us? You

  612. feel so small, not big enough? How can God use me?

  613. What can God do in my life? How is our perspective?

  614. Do you know that the Lord wants to fill you

  615. up to the point that you overflow? It is goodness,

  616. this grace? How many of us one day a big

  617. or small? In God's eyes? It's overflowing in my cup

  618. running over everything is the same amount of liquid. Don't

  619. think logic, guys, I just want to challenge your perspective.

  620. What do you see? What do you see? Do you

  621. see the difference? What do you see? Matthew six three

  622. says the lamp of the body is the eye. If

  623. therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be

  624. full of light. But if your eye is bad, your

  625. whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the

  626. light that is in you in darkness, how great is

  627. said darkness? Think about it for a moment. The difference

  628. is the way you see things. The amplified version I

  629. really like it says the eye is the lamb of

  630. the body. So if your eye is clear, you're talking

  631. about spiritually perceptive, your whole body will be full of light,

  632. benefiting from God's precepts. I just gave you a simple example.

  633. How do you look at it? For some So some

  634. of you are it's from half full to full to overflowing.

  635. No matter what you say, You're still is google goled

  636. all the way. Some of you will see it as like, okay,

  637. it's half empty. Can I can accept half full? But

  638. God wants to do that in your life. But you

  639. have to be small enough. You have to humble yourself

  640. so that it can happen outpouring in your spirit, your

  641. whole body will be full of light, benefiting from God's precepts.

  642. God's precepts is his word. But if your eye is bad,

  643. spiritually blind, your whole body will be full of darkness,

  644. devoid of God's precepts. So if the very light inside

  645. of your inner self, your heart, your conscience is darkness,

  646. how great and terrible is that darkness? Friends? Are you

  647. discouraged today? Are you discouraged? Are you feeling overwhelmed? You

  648. feel like, ah serve but no change one. It's not

  649. God doing anything in my life. Or maybe in a

  650. situation where a lot of people say, oh, you should

  651. be thankfuler, but somehow you can't see it. Friends, can

  652. I encourage you to open up your eyes to see?

  653. Sometimes you just got to be thankful. No, That's why

  654. it's very powerful when the Bible says, how do you

  655. enter his costs? You enter His courts with thanksgiving in

  656. our heart. It's just a change your perspective, you know,

  657. and then God can work in your life. All you're

  658. doing to do is change your perspective and then God

  659. can use you. But if we always see the bad, bad, bad,

  660. bad bad, you think it's going to be easy for

  661. God to use you, he has to undo a lot

  662. of things before we can use you. But imagine if

  663. you are already humble, you can have an uppouring spirit

  664. all your life power perspective.
