You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
Let's go into it. Let's go into the scripture. Mark
-
Chapter twelve, verse thirty to thirty one. Mark chapter twelve, oh
-
new thirty the salmon angriaity. I just only said that no, no,
-
me and may Eric go a long way we use
-
yourself together. Then I was not good enough, so I
-
was sent out to XBJA, you know. And he said, no,
-
just joking, good to see Eric, okay. Mark Chapter twelve,
-
verse thirty to thirty first thirty one thirty not thirty
-
first okay. And he says, yeah, okay, let's read from
-
Tuni eight. And one of the scribes came, having heard
-
them reasoning together, perceiving that he had answered them, Well,
-
ask him, which is the first commandment of all? So basically,
-
just to give you a bit of context, Jesus was
-
in the temple. He was teaching the people. He was
-
also teaching the You guys know who Jesus is, right,
-
He's quite a big deal, right, okay if you study.
-
If you don't know, please stop the busses. Seven after this,
-
I don't know who it's okay, talk to him that
-
he will explain more. But for those of us who
-
know Jesus right, some of us know him in mind,
-
in our minds, sound no, no, him. He was quite
-
a big deal those days, right, because he brought scripture right,
-
and he brought life to scripture.
-
And he didn't just do that in the theory.
-
He practically healed people, he cast out demons, he healed
-
the sick.
-
So he didn't just speak on here.
-
His action also make people like, Okay, this guy must
-
be the real deal, because things are happening.
-
However, in that time, the.
-
Pharisees and the Setlesis and the religious just were not
-
really happy because they had the power. They had the power,
-
they had the money, they had all the influence. But
-
this guy, this carpenter guy, coming from nowhere, doing all
-
these wonderful things to you we cannot refute, is taking
-
away our influence. In fact, he's saying that we are
-
brute or vipers or insult me, man, How can you
-
insult me?
-
You know?
-
And he's done all these things. So when he was
-
when Jesus was presented this question, he was also a
-
question to challenge.
-
He was also a question to like, Okay, God.
-
You know you're so great, and you you know he
-
didn't say Godla, Hey we I say God?
-
Okay? The first he said, oh, teacher, a great teacher. Rabbi.
-
You know we got so many rules, so many laws.
-
You know which of all the laws I wish is
-
the most important one? How many of you like that question?
-
Right?
-
Passus Stephen? I come here. There's so many things I
-
need to do. I have to join home Slah, have
-
to got prayer service, Lam must come early.
-
La. You know my stress suppler? Which which is the
-
one thing that I just do? This? Enough? Ready? Okay,
-
summarize everything for me? Right?
-
That was the question. Why Jesus answer Himan, Jesus? I'm
-
saying Jesus said, what do you say? The first of
-
the commandment is okay? Here, oh ex Bandama, the Lord
-
our God, the Lord is one. So the first thing
-
you know, the Lord is Gotla. We established that, guys,
-
Lord he's got. If you don't believe it's got, this
-
doesn't apply to you, Okay. Can I be clear? We
-
have to know the foundation first? Right, the Lord of God,
-
the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord
-
your God with all your heart, with all your soul
-
with all your mind and with all your strength. This
-
is the first commandment, first commandment, okay. And the second
-
is like is second like it is this. You shall
-
love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment
-
greater than this. And some of the accounts, it continues
-
to say. And all the profits and the law hang
-
on this, you understand, hang on this. Everything hangs on
-
these two commandments.
-
Right.
-
Some people like to summarize it. They like to say, oh,
-
love God, love people. You know, sounds very nice, right,
-
love God, love people, true love, cover of people. And
-
I'm wanna go deeper a little bit? Can I go
-
deeper a little bit? You guys today?
-
Can I give?
-
Can I go deeper in the world so that we
-
together can learn and have understanding? Because the one principle
-
that Excher says, we say, okay, we proclaim, we declare
-
we do is always give only your best to God.
-
What does that mean?
-
Well, it means what it means, always give your best
-
only to God. That's the title of the message day right.
-
If you don't remember everything, don't remember homes, don't remember, address,
-
don't remember. The question we should actually ask ourselves is
-
this morning when we come to church? Am I giving
-
my best to God?
-
Just that? Just that come early, late? Whatever? Am I
-
giving my best? Is this my best? Or not? Or
-
is this just enough? Because that itself will help you? Already?
-
You don't even ask a busus you wanna can? You
-
can't passes? Even just ask you a question? Now, what
-
is my best?
-
Son? Do you know what's my best? He will never know?
-
No?
-
Do you know why he will never know? He's not me?
-
Maybe my best today is five minutes preaching. Sorry, it's
-
not gonna be five us O wordy, but he won't know.
-
But if he demands ten for me ten minutes, then
-
I'll be waiting greet him who knows our best?
-
Mina?
-
But I see if my best is ten minutes, but
-
I only give him five? Am I give him my best?
-
No? Right? No? Right? So you guys following her, okay, Okay,
-
don worry. We go by the scripture.
-
Okay, So Jesus answer him such a profound answer, and
-
do you know that well? I like the wages answers
-
because right, he don't just come out with stuff on
-
his owner. It is based on scripture. Because if you
-
go to Deutronomy chapter six, Verse four to seven, bringing
-
your to back through history. This is why I love
-
scripture cross reference.
-
Right.
-
If you tell me by our Bible not real, well
-
I tell you there's so many reasons why our Bible
-
is real, why the Word of God is real, Not
-
just my own experience. No, it is irrefutable historical truth
-
that Jesus has happened.
-
Okay, I won't go into that. I might.
-
I might go on too long, do you trodd me?
-
Chapter six? I'm gonna read from let's see from verse two. Okay,
-
I don't know what I've shared here? Have I shared
-
here before the beginning of wisdom? Sorry? The fear of
-
the lords I've shared? Okay, great, So then you guys
-
will follow what I'm trying to share here. Because he
-
says here that you may fear the Lord, your God,
-
to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I
-
command you, you and your son and your grandson. Not
-
just you, are you and your son and your grandson
-
all the days of your life, that your days may
-
be prolonged. Friends, you want to live longer, then you
-
got to fear God. You don't fear God, you might
-
not live longer. Not passe I been say Bible s right,
-
and he says here therefore hear O Israel, and be
-
careful to observe it, that it may be well with you,
-
and that you may multify greatly, as the Lord, God
-
of your father's has promised you a land flowing meal
-
and honey. Here O Israel, the Lord our God, the
-
Lord is one. Does it sound familiar? You shall love
-
the Lord your God with all your heart, with all
-
your soul, and with all your strength. And these words
-
which I command you today shall be in your heart.
-
Can I give you this example? Yeah, I used just now.
-
So so when you talk about expressions, I talk about
-
expressions in church, you know the Lord has given us
-
this truth, okay, this value that in acts we believe
-
in it right, and we we do it right. We
-
give got our best right and and and it's kind
-
of like you know, uh, and this on parents, you
-
will can't understand. You know, when you have a family,
-
you have family values, right, you have family values, You
-
are generous, you are kind, you know. I remember there
-
was once where my kids they were in they were
-
in YouTube a little bit too much, and they were
-
watching something and they started picking up language that was
-
not so good. You know, swear words, Okay, this is
-
not the normal borders whatever. You know, it's the quiet
-
gun as forever and they're using it for fun. And
-
I had to have a few conversations my son, my
-
sons to say, you know, and I didn't just go
-
there and say, oh, you know, don't do this is bad.
-
You know you're a horrible person. But no, no, I
-
didn't do that. You know something, we can go there,
-
we can go to the whole Asian parenting style. Right,
-
I just wag you and then you don't understand. I
-
actually had to tell him this, and you see, whether
-
you catch me or not, I do tell them. I say, son,
-
I know you're using these words, but we don't do
-
this here.
-
You'll catch that. We don't do this here. Do you
-
see mammy and daddy doing it? No?
-
Right, then you shouldn't cause you're my son. If you
-
want to use it, then you're not part of this family. Oh, friends,
-
before we go, all right? Is that not true? Is
-
that not true? I'm speaking true far. I'm not threatening.
-
You know.
-
If you practice it, then you have disqualified yourself. No,
-
see it's not me, you know, because you can stop
-
to I mean of course they are old enough to
-
understand all these things. Like Okay, they're not like five
-
year old totally don't get it. But I have to
-
teach them. I said, son, this is our family value.
-
We don't do this here. I don't do it, so
-
you shouldn't. Yeah, your friends might do it. Yeah, you
-
go to another family, might do it. You do it freely,
-
then you join your family. Now I can't say that
-
to my son. Okay, well, but do you know that
-
in church we are family. I might sound very stronger.
-
Okay, I can.
-
I can be a bit stronger in BJ because when
-
they introduce me, they say I'm like a father to them, right,
-
So I say, okay, be father, be you. Maybe it's
-
past Steven, so maybe a grandfather.
-
I don't know. They will make past Kenneth great grandfather.
-
I don't know. I don't know. We will see. I
-
don't want to go into that. But okay, we're all
-
sons sons, but friends.
-
Can I say this ex church, ex banda O Tama.
-
Oh but I'm still new in X. Yeah, by your
-
power of the church. If you call X banda Tama
-
your home, your path of family, we love you. Friends,
-
But there are certain things we practice as a family.
-
We practice honor here, we practice giving God our best.
-
Here your catch dad, right, and we encourage again. There's
-
no judgment now. Okay, you might say, like, oh, you
-
know you mean dressing.
-
Yeah, you know.
-
Dressing is one way where you give got your best.
-
And I know when I used to always give got
-
your best to God.
-
Right.
-
A lot of people have a lot of contention. Oh,
-
but I want to wear what I want. But the girl,
-
the girl, blood the girl, yeah, the girl. No, No,
-
let's not about girls here, thinking about my wife. Really,
-
but the church judge you except everyone?
-
Right?
-
Friends, Can I share this with you? I dress like
-
this because I give got my best, because I know
-
this is my best. If someone comes into this place
-
and the person is I don't know what, maybe not
-
poor or whatever, but the person dresses a certain way,
-
do you know that we will welcome the person with
-
loving in open arms. There's no judgment now, friends, because
-
I don't know whether that person is their best. However,
-
if the person continues to come here and continues to
-
be part of the family, part of our you know,
-
then shouldn't there be deciper ship? Shouldn't there be us
-
trying to understand like, oh, this is your best, great,
-
keep it up. But hey, why don't I help you?
-
Or why don't we grow in your best?
-
You get me? Not? It's a together a thing, you know.
-
But can we just look at someone and point no, no,
-
we can't, we can't and there's no judgment here, Desiah.
-
When we use these examples are a lot of your offenders. Offender,
-
but friends, can I can I twist it around a
-
little bit. If you've been coming to our church for
-
a long time and you call yourself a part of
-
the church, yeah, I hope I don't offer you guys
-
on please if you do, I'm saying it, Lofer, so
-
that we understand this, this value, okay, all of a sudden,
-
our own geneer of faith.
-
If you disagreement, it's fine, we still love you.
-
Don't worry about it. It's not about a dressing. Later
-
I will go deeper into it. Then you understand where
-
I'm coming from. Okay, I speaking in love, But I'm
-
just giving me examples. Right if the person if okay,
-
if the person someone whoever, mister B or whatever comes
-
constantly comfortable want to join one to be part of
-
the church, don't you think that should be submission and
-
alignment it. No, No, I still want to wear whatever
-
I want to wear.
-
Right. If it comes to that point, right, then it's
-
almost like it's about you already gave me.
-
It's about you really go deeper into I'm going too far,
-
decide ready, okay, so hold that thought.
-
We'll go deep and then we'll come back to you. Okay,
-
are you guys? Okay? Okay again, you guys.
-
All look awesome. Can you return to your neighbor and
-
say you look wonderful? You look wonderful? You guys rest
-
really well? Okay, I'm not talking about anybody here, okay, yeah,
-
I'm talking about Puts Stephen anyway.
-
So, friends, always give your best to God? Right? How
-
long do I have a bussus? Even? Can I have
-
an hour? Okay?
-
Sorry a bit late just now because I was trying
-
really hard to keep to time and to give a
-
proper understanding, right, so that you guys will catch something.
-
You know, always give only your best to God, something
-
we practice and believe in. Today, I'm going to talk
-
about the why why give only your best of God?
-
Okay? Why?
-
The next time I come, which is two weeks from now,
-
I pre am your first I'm gonna talk about how. Okay,
-
I'm talking a little bit about how here and there really,
-
but I'm gonna talk about how in deeper contexts. Okay,
-
So look forward for that. Come to church, you know
-
if you want to continue. If not, I think that's
-
MTG or whatever. But today we want to talk about
-
a why why only give your best of God?
-
Okay?
-
So Jesus said, remember summary, Let's summarize the whole of
-
the Bible. If you want to follow anything in the Bible,
-
we want to, you know, let's summarize everything. Jesus said,
-
love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul,
-
and your mind. That's the summary. Let's go deeper. Can
-
we go deeper? It's a heart matter, don't you agree?
-
That's why he starts with the heart. He didn't start
-
with the break. No, he starts with the heart, soul, mind,
-
and strangler. Okay, action. It's a heart matter. It is
-
not a law matter. Yes, the perception in his commandment,
-
but it's a heart matter. It has always been a
-
heart matter when Jesus shares it. Why do I say
-
it and not law? Because Jesus explains it really well
-
in this scripture Matthew chapter five, verse twenty one to
-
thirty Okay, you can go back read it. I'm not
-
gonna go and try everything because he shares about murder
-
and adultery.
-
Well, we're ghanasa, I know we got kids here. Kids.
-
If you know what the meaning of the doultry is,
-
going to ask your parents. Kay, I'm not gonna explain.
-
Matthew Chapter five, verse twenty one to twenty two says,
-
you have heard that it was said to those of all. Okay,
-
so Jesus is foreshadowing what the time commments you shall
-
not murder.
-
Okay, let me ask you a question. How many you
-
agree that you shall not murder? Agree?
-
Everybody agree? Okay, I only see one. To the rest
-
of you don't agree? Right, those step put our hand.
-
You don't agree, you mean it's okay to murder?
-
No?
-
No, then then put up your hand now, friends, Hello, Hello,
-
put out your hand. Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, I mean
-
unless you're in jured, then then don't don't. Okay, let's
-
make it interactive. I don't know which shure you have
-
come from, but with me, you'll be interactive. Okay, you guys, okay,
-
we all agree, right, it's very obvious.
-
Right, we all agree you shall not murder, and whoever
-
murders will be in danger of judgment.
-
Correct or not? You kill someone, you will go to jail. Worse,
-
you know, you get death penaltya exrectly all of us,
-
not that we teach our kids. Oh, don't kill any anyone, okay, right,
-
but Jesus goes deeper, Jesus too much.
-
Lah.
-
But I say to you that whoever is angry with
-
his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment. Okay,
-
let me ask you a question. I've got two brothers.
-
How many of you got brothers, brothers, sisters? No brother's
-
got sister or not?
-
God? Sisters? Okay, no brother, no sister? Maybe only child?
-
You got parents or not? Okay? Maybe you don't know
-
your parents, got friends or not? God?
-
Okay, have you been angry at them before? Of course
-
you say without course out something. You're like, no, there's
-
a cause, and then when you tell someone about the cost,
-
you be like angrier. We have been angry before, right,
-
we have been angry before?
-
Right? Mean?
-
Or so, whoever is angry shall be in danger of judgment.
-
Let's read further judgment or what and whoever says to
-
his brother raca. I went and did research on what
-
raca means. You know what it means. It means empty head?
-
Is it insult? Okay?
-
If you don't know, but isn't empty head good the
-
person's then I don't know, okay, and shall be in
-
danger of the council. But whoever says you fool, shall
-
be in danger. I tell you, it escalates really fast.
-
Shall be in danger of hell fire. Are you still
-
angry at your brother?
-
Why?
-
It is a hot issue. It is not a low issue.
-
It is a heart issue. Let's let's go to the
-
next time. Okay, then we go. Deperby Matthew five nine says,
-
you have heard that it was said to those of
-
all you shall not commit the doubtory. But I say
-
to you that whoever looks at woman to last for
-
her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Friends,
-
I'm a guy, Okay, to all the guys that are here,
-
how hard is this commandment to keep honestly? Don't lift
-
up your hands.
-
It goes on.
-
If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it
-
out and cast it from you, for it more profitable
-
for you that one of your members perish than for
-
your whole body to be in casting there. Okay, let
-
me speak to guyser girls, I don't know. You can
-
interpret how you want, but let me just speak to guys.
-
If you're living your life, and whether you're single, you're married,
-
or whatever, if you come to a place a plaza,
-
you've come to a plaza where you are going to
-
think or at least in a dangerous place to want
-
to commit adultery, run as fast as possible away from
-
that situation. That's what the Bible is saying. If your
-
eye seeing Gauga and tro that's how Qua Chung is.
-
No life. It's okay, we're just friends. It's a situation. Ship.
-
But he's such a nice guy. Nothing one ma right,
-
she's such a nice girl. No, but il really married?
-
Really is? Okay? My wife knows friends? By way?
-
Clear why it is not a low issue, you know,
-
it's a lot issue. Law means you have to commit
-
the law of us. It is a hert issue. Let
-
me go deeper a little bit now there, you follow me.
-
He's very graphic, yes, Jesus, very graphic. Okay, here not graphic.
-
We all like cannot get it. It's very graphic. But
-
Jesus had a good point, because it starts with our heart,
-
and then it consumes our soul, and then all our
-
decisions are guided by what we think.
-
Isn't that true? It starts with a heart first, Hey,
-
doesn't start.
-
With oh I see paste? Omen you don't start that everyone.
-
Maybe it starts with why he like that? Why cannot
-
he calm the other side? Why must we this side?
-
Why heat slowly?
-
And then it's hot? Hot issue? Ma? But I can
-
still last shake hand. You know, I'm just. I'm just.
-
I love you and gives you an example. We work
-
very well together. He might think like that about me again.
-
You know, it's a hot issue. After a while, he
-
consumes your soul. After a while, your mind thinks that away.
-
Every living being of your body goes to that action,
-
whether you realize it or not, whether you notice it
-
or not. This is why Jesus said, love the Lord
-
your God with all your heart first, because if you
-
love God, a lot of these things you won't do.
-
Do you know that if you love God, all these
-
things you won't do, you know, right? And and that's
-
the thing about human beings. We look at the external.
-
We always look at the external or dress well or
-
very external, but we all don't know what's happening in Simon.
-
That's the reality. We don't know.
-
I mean, to a certain extent, you kind of roughly
-
can guess. Lah, But in reality you may not fully know.
-
But we got to remember that God looks at it,
-
that the internal.
-
Right.
-
But can I give you this other perspective that you
-
know something I've learned and something you might also realize.
-
Okay, because you can see what is in a man's
-
heart with his track record.
-
So first impressions we had to tell, very hard to tell,
-
but if you hang out with someone long enough, you
-
kind of roughly can guess what's in a person's heart
-
or who is in a person's heart. Got all young
-
people here, a lot of a single people here. I
-
know roughly you kind of know. Okay, oh sling, where
-
do you get it from?
-
Well? Scripture share, let's read Matthew chapter seven, verse fifteen
-
to twenty. And another thing. Why I love scripture because
-
there's the answers to everything. Amen. So Matthew chapter seven,
-
verse fifteen to twenty. So what does it say?
-
He says here, beware of false prophets who come to
-
you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are revenous wolves. Okay,
-
look very nice, happy, You know, can check and look
-
dress well by actually orus the injurious person. You will
-
know them by their fruits.
-
Huh?
-
Do men gether grapes from thorn bushes or fixed from distels?
-
Even so, every good tree best good fruit, but a
-
bad tree best bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear
-
bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit,
-
I said, thank tister. Every tree that does not bad
-
good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore,
-
by their fruits you will know them, isn't it true?
-
For those of you here who manage people, lead people,
-
lead groups, you will know After a while, you will
-
know what is in a person's heart. But it takes
-
a while first time. You don't know when after a
-
while do you know that after a while, if you
-
are not self aware, you will also roughly know us
-
on your heart because you will go down a certain pathway.
-
This is why it's a heart issue, not lot issue
-
in church. Let me go back to the dressing situation
-
that I share just now. It is not a law
-
in X wear what you want to wear, do you
-
know what. We encourage dress your best record. I give
-
you this top process. If I can dress up for
-
my boss for work, why can't I dress up for
-
my God in church?
-
Why must it be dressed down? Okay?
-
If again, if if I get an invitation to the
-
Argon or the Thunstree or the yb or whatever, and
-
I would you know, but why on Sunday?
-
Why?
-
I just give you examples in the are Okay, don't trasa, please,
-
we love you, We still love you, Okay, but I'm
-
just I'm teaching right. Uh maybe dressing, I think it's fine.
-
It's okay, don't worry about it. But any other area
-
of your life we give got our best amen, and
-
it's worth it one, it's worth it. I just share
-
you how or why we should for the hard part?
-
Can we go deeper? Let's talk about soul? I guys, okay,
-
I'm doing really good with time or m pja. I
-
do use a bit more time to explain you guys. Okay, okay, okay, good,
-
give me a tombs up here. Everybody comes up. Okay, great,
-
So what is a soul? Let's go into a solar
-
And I'm not a Bible scholar you know, you have
-
to ask Spot the man to do it.
-
Okay.
-
All I can do is go to concordence and look
-
what so means. And this is why I found out
-
it is pronounced sou ke, not so souk.
-
Okay.
-
But the any of you here study psychology, clinical psychologists
-
into mental health, do whatever?
-
Okay, never mind, you.
-
Would like to know that the word is derived from
-
the word psyche because the spelling is p s y
-
c e psyche psychology And the use of the word
-
soul in the Bible. Just to study a little bit
-
about soul and what do so mean? And the Bible
-
usage of the words. And Mama talks about breath. Huh,
-
the breath of life carry deeper the vital force which
-
animates the body and shows itself in breeding soul.
-
Where do we hear about breath? Friends? Where where do
-
we hear about breath in the Bible? Genesis? Genesis?
-
Where when God breathed into Uskay, I'm gonna stop here
-
a little bit and explain something to you which I've
-
come to realize about us, and I believe as believers,
-
I'm gonna take forgot most of you hear I believers?
-
If you are Christian, and you believe in the Bible,
-
and you believe in the God of the Bible, and
-
you believe, you believer, you believe that everything in the
-
Bible is true, all the way from Genesis until now.
-
Everything that I'm sharing for you right now will make
-
sense to you because you will understand the truth, and
-
the truth will set you free.
-
And the truth, however, if you don't fully believe in
-
the Bible.
-
In the Bible is the beginning of the Bibles or
-
storytail or. Now you know what the scientists say and
-
not a big bang and all that kind of stuff.
-
Do you know that you believe in that? Do you
-
know that that is all also a fairy tale? They
-
cannot prove it. They cannot prove it. It is just
-
an explanation. The athiests came about because Christian's got an
-
explanation of how creation came. But they don't have so
-
they have to create something. Okay, you can go and
-
research it. Okay, I've been doing a bit of reading. Right,
-
I may not get fully right, but that's why I've discovered.
-
But the other thing that I've discovered, which is really refreshing,
-
is that you fully believe in what the Bible says
-
everything that I'm sharing with right now about breath, about psyche,
-
about life, about why we should love God, you will
-
come and give you life, and say, oh wow, I
-
never saw it that way before. Okay, that's the wonderful
-
thing about a Bible. And I'll go deeper again. I
-
see I'm kind of getting it here myself, because this
-
talks about a renewed mind. Where do you see that, Romans,
-
we'll read it little, okay. So it talks about breath, life,
-
that in which there is life.
-
The soul.
-
The soul is also the seed of feelings, desires, affections, aversions,
-
Aurgnans means, oh, let's.
-
Not do that. Okay.
-
It's the seed, the soul, the human soul, in so
-
far as it is constituted that by the right use
-
of the aids offered it by God, it can attain
-
its highest end and secure eternal blessedness.
-
A lot of big words.
-
By your catch it, God gave you your soul, and
-
with your soul you can receive blessing from the Lord,
-
eternal blessedness. Okay, Peace, joy, love. The soul regarded as
-
a moral being designed for everlasting life. I'm gonna pause
-
it again and tell you and share this with you.
-
I also learned a little bit. Remember I mentioned just
-
now that if we are believers and we fully believe
-
what the Bibles say from Genesis or Revelation, whatever that
-
we are sharing is true to us. Do you know
-
that when you believe in this, you also believe that
-
there is a God that is a moral being that
-
determines what is right from wrong. That is called objective morality.
-
That means whether I know or not, or whether I
-
realize or not, that is a right from wrong that
-
is constituted in the Word of God and in life itself.
-
That means if I do wrong, whether I know it
-
or not, I will have to suffer the consequences. The
-
world teaches you subjective morality. What does it mean a Pavian?
-
I decide why it's right or wrong. I think this
-
is right. I do this, I think this is wrong.
-
I do that There is subjective morality. You are not
-
under any authority. That's what the world do.
-
I feel.
-
This is it.
-
So I do this and this is correct because I
-
feel that's what the world teaches. What we believe here
-
is different. Now you have to draw that line the
-
Bible draws a line very clear, and all of sudden
-
you set around. You're not sure because we need accepting, yes,
-
accepting to people because we love them. But we need
-
to remember that there is truth that we have to
-
speak in our situation. Right, and if we don't believe
-
you don't it's fine. No, at the end of the day,
-
when I say, it's fine, meaning it doesn't affect me much, right,
-
what you think in I'm just trying to teach, trying
-
to help us understand that in this world that we
-
live today, everything is subjective and that's very dangerous.
-
Everything is subjective. Why is it wrong? Don't know? Of
-
course it's strong. Don't know why we have to know? Why?
-
I know because God, the one that is all powerful,
-
all knowing, all creator, already said the law already. That's
-
that Jesus came to say, I come to fulfill the law.
-
He didn't come to go against God's law. No, he said,
-
I come to fulfill the law. But he gave us
-
a redemption plan because true Christ, we are we are
-
not subjected by the law. Okay, that's another thing altogether,
-
you guys, Okay, okay, Why is this point important? Because
-
if you believe in the Bible, and you believe in God,
-
and so far you're following everything I say. Then this statement,
-
now you will be able to understand because only God
-
can save your soul. Your works cannot save your soul.
-
The world cannot save your soul. Only God can save
-
your soul. Let me give you another reason why only
-
God can save your soul. Since now you understand that
-
soul is breath because God gave your soul. God gave
-
your soul. That's not only He can save you cannot
-
save yourself. You didn't create your own soul. That's the
-
truth in the Bible. I'm just speaking truth. Sam one
-
seven nine. It says for he satisfies the longing soul
-
and feels the hungry soul with goodness. I give you
-
this other example for those of you who are believers. Oh,
-
I don't understand why I lie. You know, I feel
-
so anxious and so.
-
Stress.
-
But then the moment I listened to worship music, the
-
moment I remember the testimony that God. The moment I pray,
-
and then I feel this warmth. I feel at peace.
-
The scripture asmaze it. God satisfies the longing soul. He
-
feels the hungry soul with goodness. Why only Christians can
-
be so good? Why only Christians are so I don't
-
understand why they're so generous? Why do they keep to
-
a higher moral standard. I don't understand why. Because God
-
feels your hungry soul as believers with goodness, and out
-
of the goodness, you got no choice but to let
-
it go with no expectation. You're catching the scripture quite cool?
-
Right?
-
QUI coolright? When criture, I'm like, whoa, this is cool.
-
Psalms nineteen seven says the law of the Lord is
-
perfect perfect. I thought about law, right moral. God's moral
-
is perfect. It converts the soul, converting the soul. The
-
testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
-
It's all from God, friends, God's bluepriin of our redemption plan.
-
Okay, you guys understand my soul is right? Okay, I
-
hope you do that. Okay.
-
You see how when you believe, That's how I say,
-
when you believe in in the Bible, everything flows on.
-
But when you one, when one thing, a bit of
-
our I cannot accept it. Then that's why we begin
-
to confusion. That's why we try and introduce concept. That's
-
where we go and seek for Bend's wisdom. Friends, I'm
-
just quoting everything from Bible. No, none of these are
-
past elving going come out my own concept. I'm just
-
laying it all and if you accept and you believe,
-
then you'll be all accepta. That's how Jesus say, he
-
who has letting me hear well, I tell you, the
-
more I read, the more like this all makes sense.
-
It's very interesting. Okay, let me, let me, let me,
-
let me get through this, Let me get to this.
-
God's blueprain of our redemption plan has always been to
-
be safe ourselves.
-
Do you know what.
-
Save his brooprine has always been. That is to save
-
our souls. It is to save us. Jesus say, what
-
is he Saving's saving our souls? Okay, not our status,
-
not our belongings, not our material wealth. You know it's
-
very hard peeled to swallow. No, because right now I'm
-
renovating my house. I'm spending a lot of money. I'm
-
looking at my house. I'm like, this is temporal. Once
-
I dire, none of these methods anymore.
-
Which is true, the bitter truth. I'm working so hard
-
on renovations down a stress you know, then they have
-
to arrange.
-
Then Monday suddenly have to arrange someone to come because
-
I'm going to be at the retreat. And I'm like, oh,
-
you know, oh so much? Why do I do this
-
to myself? Couse, go ask me to do it. That's
-
the only okay. But it is temporal. Jesus didn't come
-
here to save our status. He didn't come here to
-
save our ambition. He didn't come here to save our
-
all the temporal things on this earth. Because once you die,
-
the reality is, once you die and you go all
-
these things with meth anymore, you do your hurt, your bitterness,
-
your anger. I remember sharing this with someone. I said, God,
-
person so stressed out, Oh my boss is this?
-
My boss is dead. I do this, you know, very hard,
-
very hard.
-
And I look at the person I say, do you
-
know I want to quit your job? All these things
-
thought anymore.
-
True?
-
Once you quit your it's just job. Family cannot quit now.
-
So if you've got family stressed and too bad friends, right,
-
But job is that that once you quit, it doesn't
-
matter anymore. You're not part of the company anymore. You
-
can go and oh, let's talk about the latest gossip.
-
But it doesn't doesn't have nothing to do with you anymore. Right,
-
same like in the earth. We got to remember, friends,
-
our souls are eternal while everything else is temporary. It's hard,
-
it's hard, I know, it's hard to catch. That's why
-
that's the focus. This earth is just a probation period.
-
It a testing ground, a race we need to finish.
-
We gotta understand that first. Oh but I like that
-
is meaningless. No, no, it's not meaningless. Still do your best. Still,
-
always give your best to God because God has a
-
plan for you. God has a purpose for you. But
-
you got to remember that it's temporal. Don't put so
-
much hope in in things that you know. I think
-
the encouragement I have with that thought process is when
-
you do something and you're going to put your entire
-
life and energy on it. Now think about whether it's
-
an eternal thing or temporal thing. Parents, Can I talk
-
to you for a moment? Your children, right that you
-
help to nurture. You are investing not in the temporal only,
-
you're investing in the eternal. Right. Remember I shared a
-
little bit about because I know that a lot of parents,
-
so I will share it this here.
-
I can't miss it. Just now.
-
Remember I share about the culture. Family culture. Uh, you
-
set the tone of your family culture. Think about it.
-
Which one is more effective?
-
You tell them or you practice? You know this answer.
-
Your children will pick up from you and what you
-
find important and what you don't find important, they will
-
not become. You can preach all you want, send them
-
to Sunday school all you want, do all you want,
-
but if the parents don't practice, it's not gonna happen. Recently,
-
my son, uh, suddenly, out of the blue, my eldest son,
-
don't know why, they didn't want to drink coke water,
-
started eating healthy.
-
I'm thinking, what's happening? Man?
-
You know, boy, you want to have McDonald's. Yeah, yeah,
-
by bring my own. I don't want to have goodamn,
-
Like huh. I've never limited them. I have never asked
-
my wife. I say, something happened it why suddenly?
-
Like so Nina?
-
Then you look at me very nicious. She's like, no, man,
-
because you are Healthyma, Like huh. Really, I've never pressured
-
my son to do anything.
-
You know, neither have I.
-
Okay, you know guys, now, since I'm in a friends
-
I need to conference here. Okay, something very hurtful. No,
-
I'm not hurtfuller you know. M BJ it introduced me
-
as a gym not ready. Oh no, that's so bad.
-
I didn't have like a family meeting and say, okay, guys,
-
you know what from now unwords, we all be healthy.
-
I didn't do that. I didn't do that. I just
-
did what I think I need to do. But my
-
son's picking it up. We don't know the power of
-
our actions.
-
So my encouragement to you is, see, I'm not I'm
-
not here to judge your parents because I'm a soon
-
not perfect. I'm here to encourage you. Whatever you want
-
your child to pick up, you have to do it first.
-
If you don't do it first, it's gonna be very difficult.
-
That is the truth of the matter, you know.
-
And it's not easy.
-
Okay, I guys, okay, my last point a renewed mind.
-
See hart. So so let's say, okay, pa sa wa,
-
I get it.
-
It's hard. It's hard issue. Okay. I love God it
-
all my heart. Yes, fine, that's that's good. Clear. Okay. Now,
-
my soul, I know God is objective. God, my soul
-
is made from him. I get it.
-
I get this concept. What happens now. Well, Roman child
-
to want to Roman Child wanted to say this. I
-
beseech you there, for brethren, by the mercies of God,
-
that you present your bodies a living sacrifice wholly acceptable
-
to God, which is your reasonable service. Okay, reasonable service right?
-
And do not be conformed to this world, but be
-
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
-
prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will
-
of God. There is a renewing of mind that happens. Okay,
-
ask some of you some questions. Ah, you don't have
-
to answer them to live your hand, but you just
-
reflect on yourself. Have you in the past one year
-
and xbu grown in your faith? Not grown your friendship
-
and growing your faith? Only you can answer that question
-
if you have, if your faith has grown, to trust
-
God more?
-
If you're not.
-
I'm not saying more committed to church or no, because
-
naturally and when you trust, go more. I think you're
-
more committed to church.
-
Naturally. I think that will happen because action. No. But
-
have you grown or not?
-
If you have, it is a renewing of mine. It
-
is by no work of human beings. O say yeah,
-
my leader is so into me and all. But it's
-
by the Holy Spirit and the renewing of your mind.
-
As a believer, Oh of us need to grow in
-
our faith on if we are the same from five
-
years to go an hour? Something is stuck ready and
-
we got to find why. It's the thing that we
-
need to unstart. Have we been listening too much to outside?
-
Have we have an issue that we have a problem
-
with church or the people in church? We gotta deal
-
with it, right, Because what do you say? You know
-
you're committed in your heart ready, So get all these
-
things clear. A lot of times you look at external
-
remember by say, it's always a matter of the heart, right.
-
But when the heart is in the right place, when
-
the understanding is in the right place, I know who
-
to go to, my God, then there will be a
-
renewer of mine.
-
Right.
-
And let me share with you a little bit what
-
the remnew of mine does to you as a believer.
-
Our minds need to be transformed and renewed if we
-
want to follow God's will and experience God in this life.
-
That's the reality. It has to grow. If God and
-
the Bible always say, can God heals? God will provide
-
for you, Okay, I'm sharing all the nice staffer. Okay,
-
he will make you the heir and not the tail.
-
Right if God and the Bible always say can, but
-
we and our minds always say cannot. God, How can
-
you say you will make me the head and not
-
the tail when I've been working in this company and
-
I've been suffering at this boss for the past three
-
months that you asked me to be here.
-
Cannot it will not happen. I will make you the
-
heir and not the tail. You see the contradictory. It's tough.
-
No, I say it's tough because I also I have
-
those that lot We've got pray for this person. He
-
will get here in God's timing. You know, in gost timing.
-
They're Noah in the Bible I read now when you
-
pray in God's timing. No, no, I mean you can
-
refuse me now, but I think this is something that
-
Christians put there on. I have changed my stance when
-
it comes to prayer for a healing. I'll just pray
-
and believe. Of course, if it happens, saying God, we
-
have I'm not the one healing the person, why, but
-
I will believe that's so. It happened to day la.
-
God didn't ask me to pray and say in his timing,
-
God just say prayer and it will happen.
-
So I do it. I obey.
-
See how they renew of mine? But see how crazy
-
I look like a crazy person? Who am I listening to?
-
God? Or people? Who do I want to please? God?
-
Or people?
-
We've got to decide, you know. If God and the
-
Bible always say can, but we in our minds always
-
say cannot. Who do you think will win?
-
Eventually? Think about it? No, God will win.
-
Now he will twist my arm. No, God will never
-
twist your arm. God will never teak your arm when
-
there's a when you don't believe. That's why when God said, hey, Gyrus,
-
believe she's dead already? Why you, brother, Jesus, I let
-
him go. He die ready? When she was, you know, sick,
-
God still got a chance now dead really no chance? Ready, Jesus, Gyrous, come, come,
-
let's go. Lord help me with my unbelief. Do you
-
know Jesus cleared the room with all the unbelievers. Everybody
-
go out except for the Father, I mean, and some
-
of my disciples.
-
And then she was killed.
-
Cannot Lord? But when the Bible says can who do
-
you believe? There has to be a renew of mine?
-
This is where faith comes in France. Where does faith
-
come in here?
-
All? Here? What does he mean?
-
I Trustola? It doesn't make sense. I trust Cola. It
-
totally don't make sense. But God said, go igola.
-
Faith.
-
It is not in faith and bordle faith. Guys, you
-
think what all of us cannot think? I mean I
-
cannot think. Hey, hello, I passed Elvina by God. You
-
know I do reading or no.
-
Right something?
-
People say, Oh, no, yealla, you'all follow faith for me?
-
You do not think, friends, I struggle with the Lord
-
every time you give me a commandment. No, I reason
-
with him, but he will win it. Yeah, of the day,
-
because ok, you win all lot, you win now. But
-
this is where faith comes in our faith or trust
-
to believe in God. That is my encouragement for all
-
of us.
-
Yeah. I may not have all the answers.
-
But if you give God your best, and if we
-
say go, you ask how high you are having faith
-
in Him? And then you'll see things happen in your life.
-
Hebrews eleven. One to say, is now faith is a
-
substance of things, hope for the existence of things not seen,
-
for by it, the elders obtain a good testimony. By faith,
-
we understand that the world's were framed by the world
-
of God, so that the things we are seeing were
-
not made of things which are visible. It is still
-
by faith believing in the Bible. It is still by faith.
-
I have to believe that everything is true. I cannot
-
cherry pick according to my needs and ones. If I
-
do that, I will have confusion. But if I fully
-
believe in everything the Bible says, then I will accept
-
it fully. But some things don't make sense to me
-
because I'm a natural human being. And he says in
-
Hebrews eleven six, but without faith, it is impossible to
-
please him. For he who comes to God must believe
-
that He is, and that He is a reward of
-
those who diligiently sick him. It is a promise that
-
if you diligiently seek the Lord and you have faith
-
with him, he will reward you. Not according to what
-
you think. Lord, give me that million dollars, Please give
-
me that Lamborghini. Lord, please give me that girl's handing.
-
Not what you think, but he was serious. What you
-
but you got a diligionly sick king. You got a
-
diligion and sick king. It is something that the normal
-
human mind cannot comprehend in totality. You can't trust me.
-
Don't make sense right, because especially when we are faced
-
with impossible situations in our life, it is tough.
-
You know, when you've got impossible situation, I don't understan and.
-
Only if you yes down the road, knew like, oh
-
now I understand right coming your head that cat, that's
-
the when you I don't understand why you're doing this?
-
After Oh now I get it. You know how you
-
wish it will be faster than now? You get it? Right?
-
Let me share you some impossible situations in my life. Right,
-
I have no money to get married. I want to
-
get married. I got no money right last time, younger,
-
more foolish, can believe God for anything one right?
-
So got the girl ready? Want to get married? Right?
-
And I was quite bad. Okay, it was that period.
-
And I remember talking to Ken and I said baster
-
He asked me, and so how when I said pasta,
-
I feel we didn't a manna, we didn't a month?
-
I think I will pop the question. Friends, I got
-
no ring, Ana, I got no money to buy the ring?
-
More important now no savings? Why full time worker? Maa right,
-
gave everything up for the lot, maan, but so confident,
-
I think one moment I will.
-
No. Really, I got the piece and I so bad.
-
I tell you it's so bad.
-
I though my wife the time girlfriend, Now she got
-
we got talk about you're like, oh five shears from
-
now just to throw off later my father, she's really sad.
-
Why are you're not serious about it? So tell what happened,
-
I said, one man.
-
So happened? I got freelance job. No no, sorry.
-
Before the freelance job, I went to look for ring first.
-
How many you dare do this? Go look for ring first?
-
Or no money in the bang on? Go look look look,
-
look can look my look it's free my right now
-
I found something that she'll like. Right, Okay, it is
-
not five digit guys, but it's also not three digits.
-
You goa figure ou how much it costs? Kay? No money? Okay?
-
One week later, prayler, what to do? Pray? Ma don't
-
make sense? My prayer? Prayer, pray pay.
-
One week later I got freelance job. The money exactly
-
how much the ring costs. I finished the freelance job
-
in two weeks. I got the money. I went bought
-
the ring that pop the question one testimoney impossible situation
-
got me possible, seen a lot right, second story, I
-
can tell you right, not just that provided the ringer.
-
I got married.
-
Also, no money one week before I tell you what
-
business deals are like that. Now it's foolish, right if
-
you're doing an actual business, is really dumb. Right, one
-
week before the marriage and again I'm not the super
-
lavish or whatever, we had about like a twenty thousand
-
dollars budget for our wedding.
-
Okay, I'd be honest with you. I'd be like, huh,
-
I can't get married.
-
I give you Okay for those that are planning to
-
get married or goglefriend, let me tell you something that
-
passes and shared me. That was a real encouragement to me.
-
Even poor people can get married. Let that minister to you. Okay,
-
she told me.
-
Yo.
-
So one week before ten thousand deficits, pray la pray
-
was I worried.
-
I was very worried.
-
I thought my then wife and I have men, know,
-
have to like you know, show like you're tougher don't worry, dere,
-
I woke hard.
-
You know, I'll sell my car all these things. Okay,
-
on the day of my.
-
On the day of the wedding night, when my best
-
man ko my actually the kanong see, I had the deficit,
-
but I was quite confident that we can cover the dinner.
-
So the deficit was above and beyond the dinner. So
-
I was more concerned that day. The means I really
-
knew that the definity over there, So I said, hawa.
-
Then he told me, oh, don't worry the dinner cover
-
praisecott about God excess, huh how much? Basically we started
-
our marriage with twenty thousand dollars extra. We started our
-
marriage guys, all bills fully paid. Who who can tell
-
me it's not God? I will tell you it's God. Right,
-
Let me tell you, and I don't you want to
-
hear TESTI monies impossible situations. God, the wonderful God that
-
has all power in the world, gifting me with a
-
child that is on the spectrum.
-
You know what I mean?
-
Is right child at autism? Yeah, impossible situation. I can testify.
-
Now he's going to a normal school, he's socializing with
-
his friends, he's one of the kindest and most thoughtful
-
person you ever meet. For those of you who know him,
-
you know, next next year and do a little bit
-
of a plug for the youth camp. Me and my
-
wife were because he's going to puber theatery there with
-
curious seeing something you know, you.
-
Know, a big mum moody. Don't see the mummy.
-
You know, all these things are right this morning she
-
she felt it, and I say, I think it's time
-
we maybe we send him to extens you know, and
-
go for camp next year.
-
I was like, oh, go for camp.
-
Then maybe I can go because the pastor man, I
-
can go and just watch out, you know, whether he
-
can socialize.
-
But we're planning things like this. Whoo.
-
If you are if you understand specialists right, you will
-
know that these are things that are like not very common.
-
I can only tell you it's by God's grace, right
-
I might have shared something might know My mom, my
-
late mom already God bless her soul. She was stuck
-
in Brisbane hospital. She didn't intend to be there for
-
a month, racking up a bill. I can buy houses
-
a with a bill. Yeah, that's how I expressed it
-
was right. No insurance stuck there emergency lending long story Aline, Okay, right,
-
God brought her home to Malaysia in his timing. God
-
paid the hospital bill. I don't owe Australia anything. Impossible situation.
-
Let me tell you what that's happening right now. I'm
-
in the midst of my renovations and I'm moving forward
-
right still praying for provision. I don't have all the
-
money here, can I be honest? But God ready and
-
he's still a water faith.
-
Okay. So if the Lord challenges your heart, you know
-
to get king. Okay.
-
No, I'm not sharing this to you. I'm just showing
-
you to share. But I have confidence because God has
-
shown me to start. He has shown me to start.
-
He provided it, Honey, he said this is a male
-
I didn't expect it. I'm like, okay, I'm just obeying.
-
I'm just obeying, not just that supposed to do do permit.
-
I don't have shared here before. You will have cost
-
me seventeen thousand according to the court. Right manage to
-
find a way to do it under I only spend
-
one for ak That's a big desemoney. You know right,
-
God provides. I'm seeing that journey.
-
Why am I sharing with you all this.
-
For those of us who walk in faith in the Lord,
-
we understand this is that true? We understand this second
-
contingitiums five sixty seven says, for we are always confident
-
knowing that while we're at home in the body, we
-
are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith
-
and not by sight. We are confident. Yes, well, please,
-
rather to be absent from the body and to be
-
present with the Lord. So, friends, it is worth giving
-
God our best. I do it every day, and when
-
there are days I don't do it and I say, sorry, Lord,
-
I messed up. You know, we fail. Okay, but it's okay.
-
But that's the desire. I want to give got my best.
-
I want to love you all my heart because he
-
saved me a lot of heartache. He saved me a
-
lot of stress. Right, and in situations that is impossible,
-
he provides. And do you know that this journey that
-
we want is not a journey. The Word alone we
-
have and we need Jesus in our lives.
-
Amen, it is not a journey. I'm sharing all this thing?
-
Is that? Okay?
-
Now, a guys, it's up to you. No, no, no,
-
The wonderful thing that you say. Hey, Jesus, you're in
-
my life, Holy Spirit, you're here.
-
Guide me. I want to give you my best Teach me.
-
How lead me? How is there anything in my heart
-
that you need to deal with? Deal with it. I
-
surrender my heart to you.
-
And it's not law. I remember I say, it's not law.
-
There's no law here. The law is in the Bible.
-
But Jesus came, He came and fulfilled the law. Ready,
-
whatever we express in church, there's no law here. We
-
love everybody to accept everybody. How you dress, it doesn't matter,
-
but your heart matters. That is a decision you have
-
to make, and that is an encouragement. You want to
-
encourage you. So when you are challenged by your home leader,
-
you're challenged by a leader, no where it's coming from.
-
You're not just trying to keep a law and make
-
sure everybody looks the same. No, if you live by data, Oh,
-
I say it, and you answer, if you have if
-
you come into this place, in this church or any
-
church for that matter, and you have been living under
-
law yourself, meaning you put yourself on the law, that's
-
why you're unhappy. That's why you're unhappy because you're trying
-
to fulfil a lot. It cannot fulfill. But if you
-
do it because you love the lot. Wow, guys, that's
-
a different ball game. Man, that's a different ball game.
-
You're gonna ask questions how much can I do? But
-
to see what else can I do? On because you're
-
doing you love the love You're okay. I need to
-
I need to look like a Christian. I need to friends.
-
Don't live like that. It is so suffering live like that.
-
But you put yourself on the law phone. That's great city.
-
Jesus come and save ready, you don't have to live
-
like that. We have made writers in him. You know this,
-
this this this concept. We don't work for our faith.
-
We don't do good works because of We do good
-
works because we already say. We don't do good works
-
because we need to be say no, you can't save yourself.
-
We do good works because we already say.
-
Hebrews twelve one two says, therefore we also, since we
-
are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, who
-
are the witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and
-
the scene we're so easily as nances.
-
Let us run with endurance the race that was set beforeus.
-
Who are witnesses here? Who? Oh, Abraham, Isaac Jacob.
-
Yeah, but let me give you some other names Bassas, Stephen, Sharon, Josiah,
-
Eric Wesley, different names here, Josephine ja. I don't know whoever,
-
these are people who are witnesses. We're doing this together, friends,
-
people have paid the price passa Kenneth. If it's not
-
he didn't do his thing. We want to be you're
-
having this. Look around you, there's so many people encouraging
-
each other to say, let's live for God, Let's give
-
him our best, Let's do our best, looking into Jesus,
-
the autorn and finish of our faith, who for the
-
joy that was set before him and the cross, despising
-
the shame, and sat down in the right hand.
-
Of the triumph car.
-
Friends, today, my encouragement, I hope, I hope we've catched
-
the wie. I hope we've catched the whe Why we
-
believe in giving God our best?
-
Why?
-
I hope we have let it not be an issue
-
anymore in your hearts. Lend him out the law. If
-
you've been living under that as a law, then you
-
are greatly mistaken. Please don't know he's best offering. You know, oh,
-
his law, I need to give up. No, no, it's
-
not law. Would there be days where you fail, Yes,
-
there will be that. It's okay, but let's give God
-
our best. It is it five minutes, is it ten minutes,
-
whatever it is? You know, with this truth, I've really
-
shifted the way I look at things. Men looks the amount,
-
God looks at the quality.
-
Right.
-
You know, people will ask me. I remember the story
-
of this young woman that who come in and say, hey,
-
I want to serve. I want to serve in Extreme.
-
I want to serve somewhere, but I cannot commit because
-
in two months time, I'm going to go to America
-
and I'm going to be there for a while.
-
And I look at the person, I say, hello, you
-
got two months. Just use it, just do something.
-
Yeah, maybe Extreme cannot do something now, at least you
-
can start getting more people.
-
And it was how can now?
-
You know, it's a funny question, how can now? Because
-
things like rule, I say, yeah, of course, just give
-
your best. Just do two months and that's it. Give
-
God your best. The person's serve for two months met
-
so many people so thankful. After came in from America,
-
when in extreme part of our church happy the two
-
months that the person gave to the Lord and not
-
to me.
-
You all to the Lord.
-
You know when you say yes to God and our friends,
-
and when you say God, I want to give my
-
best sound, you will never be churching.
-
I am living testimony in them. So many leaders have
-
been living testimony in them. That is my chaood.
-
