You're listening to a message to go from as church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
Okay, I'll start with this.
-
Twenty twenty five will be the year that I'm in
-
ex Church for twenty years.
-
That tells you how young I am. Right.
-
I joined ex Church when I was a young person,
-
and now I'm not very young. I have two kids,
-
one wife later they were joined for the second Execuate service,
-
and it is it has.
-
Been a very very good journey.
-
So here my heart that as I share some of
-
these things, I know what I'm talking about because I've
-
been walking with the church for twenty years. Right, I've
-
been working with the church for three years. We've had
-
a lot of ups, we had a lot of downs.
-
There were a lot of times where I felt I
-
want to quit. There are a lot of times where
-
I also felt I want to give up.
-
But I'm still here, you know.
-
And I think that's the one thing that I think
-
we need to give credit to the people that are
-
still here, the people that still believe, to the people
-
that still say, no matter what, no matter how hot
-
they it gets, I am still around and I'm not gonna,
-
you know, give up so easily.
-
You know. So one of.
-
The principles that I felt like, you know, I've been
-
one thing to well. I share this message in a
-
few of our church plants and in PGA as well.
-
But one of the principles that I really hold close
-
to in my heart that I've learned from this church
-
is this always give only your best good. And that
-
is a principle that I wouldn't say is unique to XS.
-
I think a lot of churches, you know, they'll say things,
-
I spray of excellence, all these other things, but I
-
think it acts we we have this race, always give
-
only a baske good, right, And today we're gonna unpack
-
a little bit about the why why always give only
-
your baskecoord because I learned this when I was young,
-
and of course when you're young, you know, and the
-
wonderful thing about you know, leading young people. You know,
-
I have the chance right now I'm leading u XPJA.
-
And through my twenty years in X I've gotten involved
-
in different h crop ministries.
-
You know.
-
My first age of ministry I got involved with as teens,
-
you know, because actually we started ex teens or before
-
that it was called the next a t me Doctor
-
Jill yesterday of digital minister. She did so well, you know,
-
and I we were just Remenie Singer already reminis the time, right,
-
and then from there God throw me to young adult. Well, friends,
-
I tell you, from teens to you, it's a whole
-
new ball game, man, whole new ball game.
-
Tinsa. You're telling them what to do this, say how
-
hi know? Tell him jump?
-
They say, hi young, get down. You say, jammer, whya?
-
Why are show me in the Bible wire? Why must
-
I do this? I still remember I was trying to
-
you know, counsel one of my guys, and it took
-
me six months to convince him that first thing is
-
a good thing, you know, six months friends, and then
-
of course it progress to campus. And now then I
-
have a chance to lead the church. This principle, no
-
matter how old or how you are, it rings true.
-
And when I was a young man, when I was
-
a young man, when I was a young man, ex church, right,
-
you just believe on me and you just do right.
-
And sometimes that's good. No, that's why Christler, he said,
-
let the little children come to me. If any of
-
you here have faith like them, Wow, you can move mountains.
-
You know. I'm pare phrasing. I don't think he said
-
exactly that, okay.
-
And that's these things, that's this very simple thing about faith,
-
about believing God's word and just.
-
Just doing it right. And when we were young we
-
do it.
-
We don't question of us now already, Ma, sometime you
-
question a lot. You're a bit wiser, right, a bit
-
hard to believe, a bit hard to how to say
-
do because there's more commitments, more risk involved.
-
I'm the more riskervers. But can I encourage you this morning?
-
Friends, however all or young you are, God wants to
-
do something in your life. However old or young, however
-
much you think you have or don't have. Hey, friends
-
with God, now there's no reason one. There's only risk
-
with us one. But we've got there's no reason is
-
there is? Of course there's Ristla, but he's so far
-
in heaven and he operates differently. Right, Let's go into
-
scripture Mark chapter twelve, verse thirty to thirty one.
-
We're gonna go deep into the why.
-
So at least if we've asked you white God, give
-
got your best out you can tell them. Let me
-
open the Bible and share with you why why should
-
we give God our best right Mark Chapter twelve, verse
-
thirty to thirty one. Are you guys say, okay, well,
-
sonny all we're quiet? Thurty thirty k Mark twelve, thirty
-
thirty one. Okay, it says here I'll go before that,
-
so okay. So basically what happened was, you know, a
-
lot of people in the Bible those days, right, because
-
Jesus spoke about a lot of outlandish things. You know,
-
he came, he said he was a savior, he could
-
forgive scenes. So a lot of the religious teachers, a
-
lot of the people who are very good scripture, they
-
want to always challenge him, challenge him, right, So this
-
is one of the challenges that they gave him, you know.
-
And they say, Jesus got so many commandments? Are got
-
so many rules and regulations? Are imagine you coming here
-
passa daniel, got so many rules and regulations? Are what
-
is the most important? What is the most important thing
-
that I should do? What is the most important thing
-
that I should practice?
-
Okay?
-
And that's the same question that they gave to Christ.
-
And Jesus answered him saying, the first of all the
-
commandments is hear o Israel the Lord, our God, the
-
Lord is one. Okay, So that's that there's one.
-
Okay. Why must he say that he needs to.
-
Set the premise that there's only one God and you
-
only listen to one voice. You'll catch that there's only
-
one God and you only listen to one voice. So
-
he raised said the promise before he tells you the
-
next thing, which is, you should love the Lord your
-
God with all your heart, with all your soul, with
-
all your mind, and with all your strength. This is
-
the first commandment. And of course he at it another
-
one and said, and the second like it is this
-
you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no
-
other commandment greater than this. And then as you really
-
you're like, okay, Jesus, thank you for paraphrasing the commandments
-
and all the other commandments. Do you know that this
-
word that Jesus said was also in scripture. Let's turn
-
to Deutronomy, chapter six, verse four to seven. Deutronomy, chapter six,
-
verse four to seven. It says this, here, oh Israel,
-
I'm reading from four K the Lord our God, the
-
Lord is one. Does it sound familiar? Sound kind of familiar?
-
As they asked Jesus, what's the greatest commandment. Now he's
-
probably waiting, you know, Is it one of the ten commandments?
-
Is he one of these? Is he one of that?
-
Is he honor your father and mother? That's the greatest right?
-
Is it?
-
You know?
-
Why? Submit your husband? What is it?
-
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
-
with all your soul, with all your strength. And these
-
words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
-
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and you
-
shall talk of them when you sit in your house,
-
when you walk by the way, when you lie down,
-
and when you rise up. You shall bind them as
-
a sign on your hand. You shall be as frontlets
-
between your eyes. You shall write them on the door
-
posts of your house and on your gates. Friends, by
-
reading this scripture, you already know that God is not legalistic, whire.
-
But there's a commandment word you know why? Because if
-
God is legalistic, it will not be this commandment. It
-
will be the ten commandments. The ten commandments will be
-
buying on your neck. No, love the Lord your God
-
with all your heart. Quite, how does say?
-
It's quite? It's quite straightforward.
-
But at the same time you kind of got to
-
interpret it the way you are doing it in your
-
life career. Not there's no okay, step one now some
-
of us love steps stright, step one, step two, step
-
threat easy that I can then I know I can
-
go heaven. Actually there's three steps to go to heaven.
-
He believe, admit that you are sinner. Ah, be believe
-
that Jesus your rememory is right. Why we make it
-
so easy so we remember and see complete your life.
-
We're all still working on see right. We're all still
-
working on see right.
-
Christ quoted Scripture to answer the question, wouldn't you agree
-
that the greatest commandment is to love God only one God,
-
our friends, the Lord God is one only one God.
-
Love God with all our with all what and what.
-
It covered everything, you know, with all our heart first
-
and then with all our soul and with all our strength.
-
So that's the greatest commandment. So the question is are
-
we fulfilling that commandment? You know nowadays when I look
-
at scripture, right, do you know that you can fulfill
-
scripture in your life? And what you practice you can
-
fulfill scripture?
-
You know?
-
We wait for God to fulfill scripture. No, have we
-
taken ownership and say I will fulfill scripture. When we
-
love God, we are fulfilling scripture. When we hon our
-
father and mother, we are for feeling scripture.
-
Do you know that?
-
Why submit to your husband? Yes, said, I appreciate your
-
fulfilling scripture. Husband, love your wife. Don't forget ela you're
-
feeling scripture. But love like how? Love like the way
-
Jesus loved?
-
How did you just love?
-
He died for us, so husbands should be ready to
-
die for your wife. I need so serious, friends. Why
-
did God start with heart? Why don't start with strength?
-
Why don't start with bunny? Why do not start with possession?
-
Why start with heart? Why hat first? Anybody can answer me?
-
Why start with heart? You know we you watch the
-
love story? Or give my heart to you?
-
Right?
-
Give myhammis give everything right right? Pacedonia gave heart to Rachelle.
-
Thank God she received it after a long time. Please
-
ask him his love. Sorry, are very interesting, very interesting, friends.
-
It starts with a heart because it's a heart matter.
-
It's a heart metter. Okay, it's not a law matter.
-
It's not a law matter. Or don't do this, don't
-
do this, don't do this, don't do this. You come
-
to Jesus, you must a b CD. It's not a
-
law matter. It's always a heart metter. It has always
-
been a heart matter.
-
Corent not.
-
It has always been a heart matter, even even coming here,
-
even committing, it has always.
-
Been a heart matter.
-
I feel like, Okay, there's emotions, but he's always been
-
a heard matter. Isn't everything in life about a heart matter?
-
Do you know that, Jesus? He explains it really well.
-
Jesus explains it really well. There is a heart matter
-
in the scripture meant chapter five, verse twenty one to thirty.
-
So if you want to go, I give you some homework,
-
go back and read Nature chapter five, verse twenty one thirty.
-
When I was younger and I read this, I totally
-
didn't understand. I totally thought, Jesus, why your standards so high?
-
Why so make it so difficult for all us? Confirm
-
paio one? When I read the scripture, confirm with them,
-
fail one. But he explains it really well, that it's
-
actually a hard matter. When he shares about murder and
-
idolatry so serious. Let's go into it. Matthew five twenty one.
-
You have heard that it was said to those of
-
all you shall not murder, and whoever murders will be
-
in danger of the judgment.
-
But I say to you that.
-
Whoever is angry and his brother without cause, shall be
-
in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his
-
brother raca, which means empty head, Okay, I won't transtate
-
it to be mla, but you'll put some words there, okay,
-
shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says
-
you fool shall be in danger of hell fire. Wah, God,
-
I cannot use the B word ready because I go
-
to hell. No no, no, no, no, no, no no, it's
-
not Christ is not talking about Danna.
-
Let's go deeper a little bit.
-
Now. Remind all I said, it's not a law matter.
-
It is a heart matter. It is not a law matter,
-
it's a heart matter. Meant seven twenty nine says you
-
have heard that it was said or to those of
-
all you shall not commit adultree. See he was talking
-
about law. Don't do this, don't do this, don't do this.
-
That's what the Bible says. But Jesus said, but you said,
-
I say to you that whoever looks at a woman
-
to last for her as already committed adultery with her
-
in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin,
-
pluck it out and cast it from you, For it
-
is more profitable for you that one of your members
-
perish than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Okay,
-
let me kind of break it down a little bit.
-
It's very graphic, yes, Jesus, very graphic. And when I
-
was younger I read this, I kind of didn't understand
-
why set the standards so high? But you see, I
-
was still thinking in terms of law. If law means confirm,
-
fait almost fear, don't you think always feel we fail?
-
Fail?
-
I cannot readly, no need become facility, just give up.
-
But it's never about the law. It's never about you
-
must reach perfection. It is always about the heart. Jesus
-
had a very good point. If you caught it, thank God,
-
I call it now. It starts with our heart. Do
-
you think people do bad things on the spot of
-
the moment? No, it starts with the heart. How do
-
you come to a place where you want to murder someone?
-
You get angry with the person first, man, then you
-
don't forgive the person, and then everything the person does
-
you cannot stand and then you continue not to forgive,
-
it becomes bitterness, and then after then you feel have
-
you ever spoken to someone who's super angry and they say,
-
I don't really understand because I don't even remember why
-
I got angry in the first place. It starts with
-
the heart. The heart gets corrupted, and then the action comes.
-
It never starts with a law of us. See, if
-
it's love us right, a lot of us here will
-
be able to hide it on. You know how suffering
-
that is. You know that God wants you to live
-
a life of peace, not suffering. Not every time you
-
look at bastard interface and you know why you asked
-
me to come early to church, why you ask me
-
to come for home? So ask you a smile. I
-
don't smile today. It's about the heart because it's not
-
about him. It's not about coming. It's not about smiling,
-
you know, because if your heart is at the right place,
-
you will naturally smile.
-
One correy not.
-
It has always been a heart matter. It starts with
-
our heart and then it consumes our soul. Then all
-
our decisions are guided by what we think. This is
-
why the Bible says you will know a person by
-
their fruit. Because their fruit is what they decide. But
-
it comes from where the heart. But the heart is
-
something we cannot see, Cora, not so human beings. We
-
can only gauge on the external. We will look at
-
the external. But do you know that God looks at
-
your heart. It has always been about your heart. He
-
wants your heart. Why because he knows that he can
-
take care of your heart. Because he knows that if
-
you give your heart to anybody, girls, if you give
-
your heart to anybody, guys, if you see me give
-
your heart to anybody, what's gonna happen?
-
They might break it.
-
Now you can see what is a man's heart with
-
his trade record, and you will know them by their fruits.
-
Homeward for reading Matthew seven fifteen twenty.
-
Go and read that.
-
So it starts with a heart. That's why God starts
-
with the heart. And then it continues to the soul. So, friends,
-
why is the soul?
-
Okay?
-
Why is the soul? And go and did my own study? Okay,
-
So soul in uh in uh I think in Greek
-
death or cannot Greek or Hebrew, it's sue k. That's
-
the pronunciation sue k. But if you look at a spelling.
-
Does it look familiar to you, We, of course pronounce
-
it psyche la. Psyche equals to psychology. Psychology means what
-
mental health and all these different things. The soul, the
-
Bible says, the soul, the soul. What is the soul?
-
Let's read now. It is the breath of life. How
-
do you receive your soul? God brief into Adam, and
-
he received his soul. He became alive. Right, the vital
-
force which animates the body. Very technical. What else is
-
the soul? The soul is the seat of feelings. That's
-
where your emotions lie, desires, affections, aversions. Your soul, Yes,
-
your heart, your soul, the human soul. So far as
-
it is constituted by the right use of the aids
-
okay by God, it can attain its highest and secure,
-
eternal blessedness. The soul regarded as a moral being designed
-
for everlasting life.
-
The soul. Do you know.
-
That no one can save your soul? You cannot save
-
your own soul. So there's a revelation I had. No
-
one can save your soul. You cannot save your soul.
-
Only God can save your soul. Easy to understand, Right,
-
can I tell you the why. Only God can save
-
your soul because it came from him. Only God can
-
save our souls because He made our souls. Does it
-
make sense to you? It makes sense to me. It
-
didn't come from anywhere else. The devil didn't make your soul.
-
The angels didn't make soul. I don't want to go
-
through it because I know this is live stream. You
-
know that I canna anyway. Some one of seven nine says,
-
for he satisfies the longing soul and feels the hungry
-
soul with goodness. Some nineteen seven says, the law of
-
the Lord is perfect converting the soul. Why is the
-
law perfect? It converts our soul? Why is discipline important?
-
Let's talk about some gym stuff now. Because you don't
-
feel like doing it, but you know you have to,
-
and when you do it, you get encouraged when your seriesults.
-
But do you know that there are days I feel
-
don't feel like doing it, and actually sometimes I a
-
bit lazy and Coach Albert, I'll go sorry, Coach, I repent,
-
I scream yesterday. We keepach that accountable because us discipline
-
helps us, but we don't like it. Co discipline helps
-
us but we don't like it. Hey, friends, parents, you
-
know this very well. You know that discipline helps your kids,
-
so anthony around. Do you know that discipline helps you
-
to read your Bible, pray every day if you want
-
to grow? Makes sense, not easy to say how to
-
do a long That's why we have the church. That's
-
why we have community. The testimony of the Lord is sure,
-
making wise, the simple, making why it is the simple.
-
Do you know that God's blueprint he has a blueprint
-
for us. That's why I say God really has a plan.
-
He has a blueprint each and everyone of you. He
-
has blue prints. His blueprint of our redemption. Plan has
-
always been to save our souls. That has been God's
-
plan since day one. Whether it's our plan or not,
-
I don't know, but that has been his plan. To
-
save our souls, not to save clarify it, our status,
-
not to save our belongings, not to save our material wealth,
-
not to save our achievements, not to save the temporary
-
things on this earth. God's plan is not to save
-
all this. God's plan is to save our souls. Can
-
you catch that? That is the main goal. This is
-
why the last and greatest commandment of Jesus Christ is,
-
go and make disciples, because it was it was other things.
-
He would say, go and be a great businessmen, go
-
and be great. No, go ahead, make disciples, teaching them
-
to observe all things. Why because that saves our soul.
-
Let's keep the main thing the main thing. Friends, that
-
saves our soul. Again, am I saying that doing all
-
the stuff that we're doing is not right?
-
No?
-
Please, sir, I'm not saying everybody, now quit your job
-
and become full time. No. No, if God calls you, you better
-
do it. By God there and call you. Please be
-
in the marketplace. You'll be a blessing to us. But
-
the main point is our soul, and the main point
-
is discipleship to Christ. And always have different roles. We
-
have all different roles. So let's not forsake that role.
-
Whatever the Lord has spoke to you, whatever, Lord. But
-
we got to remember to keep the main thing the
-
main thing, because whatever that we focus in can become
-
the main thing. Right, that's the danger of it. That's
-
how pride came. That's how we had the fall of heaven.
-
Because the right hand man of God, the worship leader,
-
thought that he was God.
-
We all know this.
-
Story where if you don't know, you can talk to Pasadenia.
-
He's very good, okay with scripture, very good scripture. But
-
God's plan has to been to save our souls, not
-
all the other things. So can we not focus on
-
other things? Can we remember to put the main meeting.
-
I'm not saying it's wrong our friends. I'm just saying,
-
don't over for because do you this the other thing
-
I'm getting I'm not okay. It's very interesting because you know,
-
two days ago I was I was at a reading
-
rehearsal while the persons say, oh, you're past Oh, you're
-
so younger, and I'm like, am I I think younger?
-
But anyway to be called younger?
-
No? But honestly, I'm forty two this year, and I
-
feel like I'm rich.
-
I hope it's midpoint, Lowe. I hope it's midpoint.
-
And the one thing I realized that is when you
-
were younger, you don't count when you were younger, right,
-
you you don't count you you you don't count backwards.
-
You count forward. You count like, oh, in twenty years,
-
in thirty years, you know you count that. But when
-
you're older, you start counting backwards.
-
Okay, I know there are some people.
-
Who are don't don't like gay the lord you go
-
to you don't worry. But but but I I started
-
I started counting a little bit, like okay, how many
-
more years I have left? And you start making different decisions,
-
you know, last time when you're younger, like YO, know, man,
-
let's just do it Now You're like, hmmm, should I not?
-
Should I invest in this? He's a good idea. That's
-
why you don't care. You're like, oh, you know, I
-
can just now You're like you're you're thinking, how can
-
I leave a legacy?
-
You know? How can?
-
No? You start thinking, and then when you have kids
-
even more so, and you'll start realizing that a lot.
-
Of things are temporal.
-
If you are young and you want to get a
-
wake up call, Okay, I'm not I'm not saying you
-
mustla get a health problem. You'll wake you up real
-
good that you shouldn't not right, you owe me up.
-
I never wanted to to me exercises like no, man,
-
it's not my thing. It has changed my life, and I,
-
of course you ever thank for that as well. Our
-
souls are eternal friends. Who you are, you're being Your
-
soul is eternal. Everything else is temporary. Everything else is temporary.
-
You got a heartbreak, The guy brought your heart is temporary.
-
Don't worry.
-
There's another guy out there. One you know. The guy
-
brought your heart is temporary. You lost a car, it's temporary.
-
One can can make back one. But don't lose your souls.
-
The Bible says, what can a man gaming against the
-
whole world but losing soul. Your soul is so precious.
-
Don't lose it. Don't lose who you are.
-
Don't allow the influencers out there to affect you. This
-
is why we give God our best. Because when God
-
is at the center, we won't lose our souls because
-
he will like because we are not the center, but
-
we were the center will But when God it is
-
the center, very have to lose your soul. And God
-
is the center. Why because he will discipline you. Our
-
father didn't have it. He will say, hey, stop it oving,
-
what are you doing? Don't do that. That's why that's
-
a focus our soul. This earth is just a probation
-
period and our friends the testing ground. A race we
-
need to finish, So let's finish it well. Can we
-
can we finish it well if you just suddenly wake
-
up today? So okay, still got time, Still got time.
-
We can still finish it well. And it's not how
-
you start, it's how you finish that matters. Right, It's
-
not how you start, but it's how you finish. Love
-
the Lord your God with all your heart, soul mine.
-
Let's go to mind now. The Bible talks about having
-
a renewed mind. Hopefully right now your minds are being
-
renewed as you listen to the word. Okay, romans child
-
want to say, is I set you there for brethren
-
by the mercies of God. They present your body as
-
a living sacrifice wholly acceptable to God, which is your
-
reasonable service. And do not be confirmed to this world? Wow,
-
this lying very very important. Do not be confirmed to
-
this world. You'll catch that on. Do not be confirmed
-
to this world. You know the latest thing that's happening
-
right now that we all should do you have you heard?
-
Have you heard Coach Elbert? You know this latest thing
-
that this guy thought about that you should do some
-
things is basic. I remember asking coach about you know, like,
-
oh we know we actually join this then super practical.
-
Every form of exercise actually the same, just put another
-
name to it. You know, last time it was crossed feet.
-
Then we got high Rocks. Then I don't know why.
-
In the future wild beat La. You know, the trend
-
will change, friends, it will change. Today we have blau.
-
We all. I also don't even know what it is.
-
Last time we got hellockey D. Hello kid, friends, I
-
remember the helloky dday is when people break walls to
-
get to hellocke D. How power is the influence of
-
hellokit D? What is the influence in our life that
-
is powerful?
-
Today?
-
I pray always say Jesus. Amen, I pray always say Jesus.
-
And only you know no Do you know no one?
-
No one, no one. I can't go ahead and look
-
and pass. Okay, I know the power of Richard Rachale
-
is you know it's nobody can judge you seriously, so
-
don't feel judged. We had to see one can't see
-
us in your heart? Only got can. So you offer
-
to him. I say, Lord, how anything influencing my life
-
or not? Do not be confirmed to this world, but
-
be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you
-
may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect
-
way of God? Do you know who prove said you
-
when we commit? When you say God, I give you
-
my best, God, I give you everything.
-
God. I submit myself to leadership. Lord. I do all
-
these things that are difficult, but I believe.
-
I want to learn. I want to be a disciple.
-
I want to submit myself. I want to you know, yes,
-
I'm not good at reading the Bible, but I want
-
to read more. Yes I'm not I'm not good at
-
some of the things. I want to do more. I
-
want to believe for more. I want to have my
-
mind on you know, eternal things. It is commitment, it is.
-
But do you know that when you submit yourselves, your
-
mind will be renewed. How many of you your mind's
-
being renewed right now? You look at things differently already?
-
How many of you you look backer when you first
-
became a believer and after they become believer?
-
Have you grown much? Have you experienced God much? I
-
hope you have.
-
No.
-
I hope you can say yes I have. I have.
-
I can share you passelving the many testimonies I have.
-
I hope you have. Because if it's just no lie,
-
just come chestening, just be Bible. Just okay, same thing
-
like homes and no, I think my life is the same.
-
Friends following were exciting or no, very exciting? Why tell
-
you super exciting? But we need faith. Without faith, it's impossible.
-
Please God, do you know that God is a gentleman?
-
I remember someone's said and he stuck to me. Oh
-
my good friend, Shaddy. Do you know God want force
-
you to do things?
-
God?
-
Eve?
-
You know I'm going down this PATHA Why why near
-
stop me? Well?
-
I did, but you're not listening. No, Ma, you should
-
just drastic. But would you listen even if I did?
-
Think about it? Human beings are quite power. There's this,
-
there's a will, there's a way one No, that's how
-
That's how powerful things are. Don't know, Amen, Our minds
-
need to be transformed. Friends need to be Our minds
-
need to be transformed. And we knew if we want
-
to follow God's will and experience God in this life,
-
it has to be if God and the Bible always
-
says can, but we and our minds always say cannot.
-
Who do you think will win eventually? Think about it?
-
But God, God is all powerful? Think about it?
-
Who are we? Do you know?
-
It's not easy to work in faith. It's not easy
-
because it is a counterculture to what we are used
-
to because we are living in the natural, but God
-
operates in the supernatural. Once in a while we hear
-
testimony and we get excited and it's true because God
-
orchestrats things. I tell you, I've got so many testimonies
-
about how God orchestrat things something that I'll take I
-
don't know how many hours and days to do and
-
na go just ste finger five minute done.
-
Really, I'm like, what right, We've some have experienced things,
-
are there? Right? It's orchestration on God or Noah? Is coincidence? Wow?
-
Such a sad life that everything in your life is
-
a coincidence. Well, I believe that if I follow God
-
your work and there are times out where how I
-
think or so I'm like, wow, this, this, this story
-
of my life is too perfect her to be coincidence
-
to perfect definitely or someone working in the background. But
-
it's tough, friends, I admit, yes, it's tough. If we're
-
used to the world the way the world works. That's
-
why it's a transforming of mine. It's a transformingern. You
-
got to change the way you think. You got to
-
change the way you think. One of the things that
-
I really love about church is that we are church
-
of faith. You know all it took for Look look
-
around your friends, look around you, look around, look at
-
this place, look at the people around you. I was
-
there when Pasta cannot say I think we need to
-
plan in x kay and so not even I think
-
we need to plan where we're at, which is extra domining.
-
All pass God was a word the lot. He didn't
-
get a building, he didn't get the people, he didn't
-
get anything. He got a word from the lot.
-
He said, Okay, since I'm telling all my church bruanters
-
to plan with the for me, I'm even planting in BJ. No,
-
I don't even stay there, right? How how crazy is that?
-
Plant where we're at? Then he started praying. Then different
-
people started coming. This is one year ago? No, you
-
mean this is man's orchestration? Do you mean this is
-
man's orchestration?
-
Four years?
-
Okay, sorry, thank you, that's why he's a CBC here.
-
Three years okay, anyway, it's some time ago, but not
-
so long. I tell you it's faith. I tell you
-
it's faith. Talk to any of our church planters. How
-
they started planting the church We strategize, and then we
-
plan and we can put a budget to get It's
-
all God, because all it took was someone crazy enough
-
to say, yes, Lord, send me, I will go.
-
Seriously, friends, our minds need to be transformed. Are you
-
allowing your mind to be transformed?
-
Or always we say ana can allah. This is where
-
faith comes in. This is where we have a chance
-
to practice faith. Okay, And this is where faith comes in. Right,
-
our faith or trust to believe in God. Hebrews eleven
-
one who says, now, faith is the substance of things
-
hoped for the evidence of things not seen. For by it,
-
the elders obtain a good testimony by faith. We understand
-
that the words were framed by the word of God,
-
so that the things which are seen were not made
-
of things which are visible.
-
What did that line just say? You don't see it?
-
You have faith, then it will happen, especially if God
-
says it la right, right, there's nothing there.
-
There's nothing there.
-
And Hebrews eleven six says, but without faith it is
-
impossible to please him. For he who comes to God
-
must believe that He is and that He is a
-
rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
-
Friends, Faith is the thing that helps us.
-
Right, Faith is the thing that helps us, especially when
-
it is beyond us.
-
Then we just gotta have faith.
-
Gott to have a little faith, especially if you hear
-
hurt a word from the Lord see and God won't
-
ask us to do things contrary to his word. So
-
if you know his word well and he asks you
-
to do something and he's aligning to his word, then
-
you know it's him. You don't need to wait for
-
audible voice. A preacher very wise once told me, the
-
moment you hear what audible, you better do it.
-
Sure on right, friends, faith.
-
It is something that the normal human mind cannot comprehend
-
in totality.
-
That's the reality. People won't understand.
-
You know. Even the Bible says for those who has
-
eyes to see, let them see. For those who want
-
to hear, let them hear. So for those of us
-
here who can see and can hear, we understand. But
-
do you know that your friends will not understand? Do
-
you know that people who are still living in this
-
world will never understand this thing called faith because they
-
never walked it, they have not experienced it. Their eyes
-
are not opened by receiving God in their hearts. They
-
are closed your catch they are not, so they won't
-
get in one. It's very difficult. That's why they need faith,
-
especially when we are faced with impossible situations in our life.
-
Even more so we need faith even more so because
-
when you look at the problem straight ahead, or you
-
can think it's a problem true not girl.
-
Right.
-
And of course then we come to church, we hear God.
-
Can we say Hallelujah, we say Jesus is me. And
-
it takes faith to believe. It takes faith. Can I
-
share with you some impossible situations in my life that's happened,
-
just to prove my point. I had no money to
-
get married. I got married in twenty twenty ten. Okay,
-
I must tell your very funny story. So what we're
-
all dating, right, and then because we're all like same age,
-
you know, you know a me Albert, I think rachel
-
or we all same ith okay or in church you know,
-
and then we're all in the same age, then of
-
course we we do pre cot ship, you know. And
-
then that we have very good advice from Pascal. Person
-
are very good advice because anything that's personal is personal.
-
Our friends, what you want to go and share the
-
whole world. But I know this generation different. They want
-
to celebrate day sere months, very very surri And then
-
now when don't happen? Now then you have to clear
-
the evidence from online. Hey don't, don't. Why put yourself
-
to headache? Don't do that. Right, we were quite good.
-
Nobody knew you know we are together, so last time
-
were secret secret. Never tell people. Now we were advice
-
go and you know, dating somewhere, so that at least
-
ijada you see, got chance the other people makes sense?
-
Not makes sense?
-
Why SLAGGI belong kawena uh pa after cow and he cross?
-
I R right?
-
I always joke I said before married, say you know,
-
before married, open eyeby big, After married close on eye,
-
I d one more after married, sometimes two I s
-
to close right. So what happened was I went with
-
my girlfriend at the time no wife yet, now wife
-
we yet, thank god girlfriend. Then we watched movie, then
-
went to oh my goodness, the mall is no longer
-
better dan mall or something some moller some morning PJ.
-
I know it's I don't know, I don't know which
-
more And then I was and then jess anyway someone
-
BJ And then you're my remember. And then what happened
-
was just went to the toilet, and of course your
-
secreted know something. No netanyah, I saw Albert, No, they
-
we would. I was like hey, like hey, they were
-
like hi, wait do we here? Then he's like, oh
-
and the time, we don't know. We don't know who
-
you know going together?
-
Who?
-
And he said, oh, I'm watching I'm watching a movie Richard.
-
I'm like, oh, oh, okay, really and then he look
-
at me like how about you? I like, I'm watching
-
a movie. Jazz and came out first. And after that
-
we were like, okay, have a go on, you know
-
what you love. We're like, okay, see now always happily married.
-
Anyway.
-
Anyway, My point is, my point is it's not the
-
it's funny. My point is, so I no money to
-
get married. But again, now when you follow past Canafa
-
he got faith, you also got faith? Lower right, Cory
-
not sorry? Remember he asked me, so, ell, when you're
-
gonna get married? I say, well, on past, maybe in
-
one man's time. La, you got money for ring, I
-
don't know about the lot of provide hen buy ring
-
it now? So what happened was when I go in
-
so much way to string first, No go and see
-
ring two string first, no wing.
-
Choose the ring. Now it was a certain price, right
-
the low for digit number.
-
Lo lo lo lo low for digit lo low very
-
low for digit. And I'm okay, ken and then we plan.
-
Now you know I'm gonna uh you know, I won't
-
tell you how we proposed. Okay, you're going and ask
-
the people. But basically what happened was God provided a
-
freelance job for me.
-
The money was exactly the price of the ring. I
-
did it. I bought the ring, I proposed. She said, yes,
-
still no money.
-
Our friends then plan, plan, plan for wedding. Okay, let
-
me continue the story. How how faithful God is. And
-
again I'm not doing it foolishly.
-
Okay. I was ready to work. I was ready to
-
do whatever it takes.
-
One week before the wedding, I was down according to
-
my wedding budget, ten thousand ring.
-
It I stress.
-
La.
-
The girl knows stress because I didn't tell her. I
-
saw tell her a bit, but I say, there, you
-
know what's come of worse. I'll just tell my God
-
do whatever. I'm working full time, you know, do whatever
-
it takes. I was like sweating, buckets. When they reached
-
the wedding day, I was waiting, you know, Lord, please
-
give some sudden check or white enve rope. Friends, last
-
time I wore x TV, nobody nobody noticed one. X
-
TV nobody, no one because back grammar, nobody will give
-
you white white velope. They will give envelope to past us.
-
Are please after they give us.
-
Whatever?
-
Okay, no, no, but it's quite funny. So so so yeah,
-
So I really pray our friends, I really pray. But
-
but really I'm like, Lord, it cannot be that I
-
surf you and you're gonna let me starting this. So
-
of course the hope is the the wedding dinner, you know,
-
but the desire for me as long as paid the
-
dinner done. Really I'm happy, don't your old thing?
-
You know?
-
And and X Church, can I thank you guys for
-
X Church. You all are very generous people.
-
X Church.
-
One of the other spirit that we have is we're
-
very generous, you know, even you know, every one of us. Right,
-
And so what happened was when I when I enjoyed
-
the wedding, really had a good time, right, and after
-
that dinner, then my best friend's knee, you know, He's
-
the only when I trust to go and count money.
-
Yeah, he was my best man. It's so funny.
-
I was his best man, right and then he was
-
my best He got ready for us.
-
So yeah. Anyway, so so and like one man a
-
part of me. We are closer. Okay.
-
Anyway, So I remember he he counted money. He banging
-
the money for me and everything, and he said, don't
-
wry do any better, You'll be fine. I'm like, okay, okay,
-
then you know the wedding night. Okay, I'm not going
-
to detail, but the wedding night I called him like
-
then he like, oh, Saturday banging d I'm like, okay.
-
My only question was the dinner cover. He said, cover
-
our praise got okay, but got access all U excess? Okay,
-
how much is it that I didn't really care how
-
much excess killer whatever? Oh you had about need thousand excess?
-
I got shot. I'm not huh. All the fear gone,
-
all the worry gone. The Lord provides impossible situation. There's
-
so many other stories or testimonies I have, but I
-
know I don't have much time.
-
But friends, why am I sharing you this? You know?
-
For those of us who walk in faith in the lot.
-
Now we understand and know how he works. Correct, I'm
-
beginning to recognize and realize this faith is not something
-
you can teach it, but to really learn it you
-
gotta walk it. You can teach it, but to really
-
learn it, you gotta walk it. It's not easy to understand,
-
but when you walk it, and you walk it once, twice,
-
three times, you will be You are more faith because
-
you know who your God is, you know how he works,
-
You know that he's real, and you cannot deny him.
-
Right for those who of us who work in faith,
-
we understand and know. Second Conridians five six, it says,
-
for we are always confident knowing that while we are
-
home with the Body, we are absent from the Lord.
-
For we work by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes,
-
well pleased, rather to be absent from the body, that
-
they'll be present with the Lord. Friends, don't you think
-
it's worth giving God our best and loving him with
-
all our heart, soul and mind. And this is not
-
a journey we work alone. This is why we have Christ,
-
and He has given us the Holy Spirit. Hebrews child
-
one two says, Therefore we also, since we are surrounded
-
by so great a cloud of witnesses. Let us lay
-
aside every week and the sin which so easily and
-
snares us, And let us run with endurance the race
-
that they set before us, looking unto Jesus the autumn
-
and finish off of our faith. For who for the
-
joy that was set before him and died across despising
-
the shame, and has set down at the right hand
-
of the throne of God. Beyond just Christ and the
-
Holy Spirit. We have each other, spurring each other on
-
to believe, spurring each other on to do our best,
-
spurring each other on to say, hey, let's give God
-
our best. And yes, sometimes we get something or rebuilt
-
and we feel sad.
-
But can we carry on?
-
You think I twenty years here Newmara before everything is
-
no sailing. No, every time I can Maa, I say
-
I'm sorry, I'll move on, I will get better. I overcome.
-
Do you know, and this is another principle I want
-
to give you friends. Do you know that Christians are
-
we are called to overcome because Christ has overcome the world.
-
Do you know what overcoming means? When you go to trouble,
-
when you don't feel like doing things. When you are hurt,
-
when someone offend you, you overcome, okay, that or you succumb?
-
Which one suirccoming? Is I a angry you?
-
I don't talk to you anymore. Already that's succumbing to
-
your emotions. Overcoming, it's like a God, help me give
-
me peace. I forgive overcome, overcome, overcome. It's not get back,
-
that's not overcoming, you know. Overcoming is coming to a
-
place for peace.
-
Again. That's the journey we have, right, that's the journey
-
we have. Right.
-
So the so really our faith and giving got our best?
-
Don't you think giving got our best is so deep?
-
It's very simple, right, Oh, give got your best? But
-
this is a why why do we keep up with
-
our best? Why is he at the center? Why do
-
we need to you know, do all that we need
-
to do? Why do we dress up as leaders on?
-
Why?
-
Why?
-
Why all this? Why?
-
Well, this is why. This is why we do what
-
we do. This is why we give got our best?
-
And you see how it can't just be your own strength.
-
After a while you give up. No, if you just
-
try to be perfect, No, it's not your own strength.
-
Give God your best no more, excuse us and God,
-
well help you and you'll get better. Let me share
-
one more last story of you before I end. I
-
got time, right. I remember when I planted Quota da
-
Mansara holmes Uh. We had students coming from Katie and
-
I remember and it's God works are okay.
-
So they've been coming to PJ.
-
And initially I thought, Namasara, you want to go send,
-
you want to go Subang, or you wanna go PJ Subang.
-
I thought better, more happening, you know, more happening church.
-
You know, PJ is like Oka that time, not at
-
that time, it's like quite a while back. And I
-
started because we had first five students and then ten
-
and then seventeen of them came. And I remember sitting
-
here and talking in Pascado a pastle excited. You know
-
there's people coming. Then I remember six months before that passed,
-
they say, hey, you better do something. You know, you
-
better do something because when God mosa we got a
-
flow we've got and I saw happily six months laters
-
tell him pass so encouraging her. Look at me, are
-
you doing anything? I'm like no, but I'll do something.
-
Immediately on their way, I started. I started homes we
-
we had a Wednesday homes because I still had Friday homes.
-
So I have a Wednessay homes and a Friday homes.
-
Raise a lot right and uh Submasara not here. And
-
I was the only leader the first mine started. I
-
had six students come to me. Do you know the
-
questions they asked me? When I say let's start homes,
-
they are excited, and then they started getting worried. Pastor,
-
if we graduate? Dan, how I let you graduate? I'm saying, Hella, pastor,
-
if this?
-
If that?
-
Yeah, I remember one of the students, Pastor, I don't
-
believe in this. I don't believe in just plunting. I
-
don't believe in blunning homes. You know, I don't believe anyone.
-
You know, I don't think it will work. O him,
-
I said, you don't believe. I believe you're coming or not?
-
The same student two months later, Hey, Pastor, homes so good? Lah?
-
Can you do training?
-
Or no?
-
Damn? Like where is that? I don't believe.
-
But I want to share with you this one story
-
because it's all about teaching right, teaching our young people.
-
And can I tell you something.
-
I'm sure some of your homes here are way better
-
than when I start the homes with and when I
-
share a story with the kiddy students started, we all
-
laughed at ourselver worship Vidostara. I was worship with, you know,
-
And then they didn't know anything our friends. The reference
-
point was me. And because the reference po was me,
-
and I believe in giving got my best. Then when
-
we food, how and I remember we had food, they
-
tapa don't know what food like narsillama or whatever, and
-
they didn't even present it well. And I was like, wow,
-
like that also can do? Homes are very hard. So
-
then I told myself, you know what, I must show
-
them how giving got your best is. And the time
-
apparently I was famous with roasting chicken. But student house
-
got no chicken, No, not nothing, Okay, So I packed
-
my oven, not the billing one, the loose oven. I
-
packed the whole oven. I bring the whole chicken, I asked,
-
I didn't. I took leave for seven a half day, right,
-
I brought everything to the homes and I rose for them.
-
They were so impacted by that. Now that after that
-
the spirit of my homes change. And then of course
-
the time after that we grew and all and they
-
all gave their best. They really caught the spirit of
-
it giving your best, because they're like they cannot bring
-
how can pastor bring? No, they not past not even
-
pasta at all. Now pasta you can see under said,
-
oh pasta is give you a last try. Elvin, how
-
come this old Elvin guy right who's doing like video
-
bringing his oven and roasting chicken for us? I didn't
-
want any and I didn't do it to proof. I say, hey, guys,
-
I know you guys are doing hard. Let's just do
-
let's just do this for funner. And I did it
-
lack okay. After that, their homes multiply after that, friends,
-
do you know what happened? Suddenly XPJ, expresso tiama is
-
all from their homes are Now I'm like, what when
-
I was in their homes? Are I suffered no with
-
the food that they gave me until I had to
-
do take methas in my own handswer and do something
-
about it. But after that, with the sacrifice the Lord,
-
all of them are awesome expression people. That's the history.
-
So friends, when we give our best of God, we
-
never know where you'll reach. And a lot of times
-
it is for his benefit, and it's also for the
-
benefit of others.
-
When extreme he is here playing coach next level, next level.
-
He doesn't need to do this one no friends, But
-
why we want to give God our best because when
-
you give God our best, we're giving you our best.
-
We serve each other, love the Lord your God with
-
all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbor
-
as yourself.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
