  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. I won't speak about you.

  4. I won't speak about missions, but from a different perspective

  5. in terms of not asking you all to go for missions,

  6. right because they obviously understand we need to go for

  7. missions and stuff like that, but really understanding why sometimes

  8. missions is important for us. I want to talk about

  9. the words sacrifice, which I think always understand the word sacrifice.

  10. If you've been a dad and a mom, you understand

  11. your sacrifice a lot. When you're working adult, if you're

  12. still singer, you also make a lot of sacrifice to

  13. get to where you are at, and always understand the

  14. word sacrifice. These sacrifice to get our education, to get

  15. our degrees and stuff like that. So I al would

  16. have some form of understanding about sacrifice. So Isaiah fifty

  17. eight was one. We all know this scripture by heart.

  18. The readio actually not behalf but very familiar to this scripture.

  19. Isaiah fifty eight worse one, so I know fifty fifty four.

  20. Apologies fifty four sorry as I fifty four Verse one

  21. say sing o baron you have not born, break forth

  22. into singing and cry aloud. You have not labored with

  23. the child for more of the children and the desolate

  24. than the children of the married woman. So the Bible

  25. here says us first of all, to sing, right, to

  26. say the right scripture, to sing when we don't have yet.

  27. I think many times in our journey, in our lives, friends,

  28. is it not true that we have.

  29. Allowed situation to pay what we sing.

  30. We have allowed circumstances to decpict how we should what

  31. we save in our lips. We have been on the

  32. journey whereby it's never easy, and sometimes the uneasiness or

  33. sometimes the challengers causes us to say, to do, to react,

  34. to confess things differently. This morning, the lot was remind

  35. us against to sing, oh barren. You know, it's very

  36. hard to sing but you don't have something. When you

  37. don't have a breakthrough yet, when the things hasn't come

  38. your way yet, when you were hoping and praying for

  39. something and it hasn't come to pass yet, it's very

  40. challenging for us to lift up my hands to say

  41. God is still faithful when things hasn't come to pass yet.

  42. Just an a am Mandarin service.

  43. Earlier on, there was a girl that shared her testimony

  44. about how God's been so so faithful to her. It's okay,

  45. how God it's so so faithful to her. She has

  46. a sight income, so she set up shut up venturing

  47. into I think probably mutual and this stuff like that,

  48. you just share a testimate, whereby I just started this

  49. only because I wanted to give into the missions for

  50. and God asked the given amount.

  51. And I think second year.

  52. Or third years starting to stuff the yearl ready do

  53. you want to share with the church and stuff the

  54. ye already been praying that I hit my yearly target

  55. in the first quarter. So as she was sharing the testimony,

  56. when I spoke the time, I say that you know

  57. many times you hear the good parts, which is the

  58. break to moment, which is God coming true. But some

  59. of you may not know. Because I know this person

  60. as well. The first four years was a lot of labor,

  61. a love, prayer, a love crying out to the law,

  62. a love, a love of God, show me the plan

  63. God helped me, God crying out to you. And this

  64. worst one speaks a lot about that single baron sing

  65. old barons. Sing when you are not full yet, sing

  66. when you have not received yet, declare the goodness of

  67. God when you have not received it yet, I think

  68. many times in our life and I will challenge you aloud,

  69. write the environment to de pate, to declare, to cause

  70. us to be said to be down, to be in

  71. a place whereby it's got even real, it's got even true?

  72. Can I even trust a lot?

  73. Not? And this morning that was remind us again to missions, friends,

  74. two missions, that it is really about sacrifice at the

  75. end of the day. Do you know when you are set, friends,

  76. it is a sacrifice to come out from the place

  77. and to declare how good God is? Do you know

  78. it's a sacrifice for us to actually come out from

  79. what's familiar right to a place we are not familiar

  80. these days and at used to work comfort because comfort

  81. has very different level theseays. For example, some of you

  82. may not find this comfortable with the chairs right now.

  83. These are not comfortable chairs, you know, right, So we

  84. find all this really is really comfortable chairs. Maybe some

  85. of you'll find right now the aircon is not cool enough,

  86. right you wish it was colder. So I don't want

  87. to use the word comfort. This is because, like I

  88. say again, comfort means a lot of things with very

  89. different people I was just telling the eight Am that

  90. you know, these days when you go for missions, right,

  91. you're so used to having a two horse power air

  92. cont in your room, all of a sudden you downgrade

  93. the one horse power and it's.

  94. Not cool enough and stuff like that.

  95. These days is very different for us back in the

  96. days whereby sleeping on the cement floor is actually quite nice. Okay,

  97. none of you, I'm sure that there's one of you

  98. I have set on the cement floors trying really nice

  99. back in those no, no, no, when you're older than

  100. when you're older, you find you can get up after that.

  101. When you're younger, right, the cement floor is very cool,

  102. you get very nice. But these days, so you go

  103. for missions, oh you huh? You want me to slip

  104. on the floor, right, So comfort is very different. So

  105. I want to use the word familiar. You're very familiar

  106. with this setting, right, she's you know, which is what

  107. you have right now. But to go to another place

  108. whereby you're not very familiar with. So if you have

  109. never been to x break Fields, our death Community church there,

  110. it is really truly a different experience, a different, different

  111. situation whereby first of all, you won't see any instrument

  112. except for a gamba there. I don't even know how

  113. they can follow the readom, but they told.

  114. Me they can.

  115. But the lyrics it is being shown, it's not the

  116. actual lyrics that they are signing, because the person who's

  117. doing x TV on the day may not understand the

  118. full signing language. They those sign by words. They don't

  119. sign by words. They side it in a summary of words.

  120. So when I was a couple of times already during worship,

  121. I thought I was seeing I'm just following the sizes,

  122. realized the action doesn't reflect the slides.

  123. Oh no.

  124. Then after even in the preaching, it's very different. They

  125. don't see in this congress like that they see in

  126. the circle so that everyone could see. So it's a

  127. very different experience. And if you take exclaim is quiet,

  128. that place is really quiet? Seriously, No, seriously, it's I'm like,

  129. do you am I even getting true to you? You know,

  130. stuff like and uh yeah. So it's a mass to

  131. prepares slids when you go and appreciate ext big fields,

  132. not because they want to read the words, because they

  133. ask us that can you place in certain more pictures?

  134. They understand pictures better than words, and stuff like that.

  135. So it's an experience.

  136. So yeah, the what's familiar to you right now, like

  137. this to go up to the place that act break Fields,

  138. Please get your permission from Jason before you decide. One

  139. day he always just go like that, Jason, They all

  140. just coming west, everybody. I was just saying, go ex

  141. big fuse ma no please, all right, when you get there,

  142. very different, you know all the the they shake their

  143. hand and and this. It's just quite amazing. So the familiar,

  144. leaving the familiar to unfamiliar friends. What is comfortable for

  145. us to what's not comfortable for us. We always sit

  146. tell people that you know, when you go to a

  147. place where where you enjoy the cuisine wherever they serve

  148. you first, even as Malaysians, some of us are not

  149. comfortable with others people's cuisine. Right, I was just showing

  150. earlier on to a bunch of sarakin. Right. You know

  151. there's something called worms right somewhere before right right, it

  152. tastes like butter like that, right, it does taste like battery. Right,

  153. But anyway, all right, I get other people say that,

  154. but out of no way, oh my dead body, or

  155. it takes a sego worm in my mouth and this

  156. stuff that from Sarawa. I'm like, so what's familiar and

  157. what's not familiar? So the Bible here says single bearing,

  158. you have not born friends. Sometimes we need to embrace

  159. the sea situations in God. No matter what, it is

  160. a sacrifice for me to consume, but I will consume

  161. it anyway.

  162. I share. Maybe I shave it a little before.

  163. When we go for missions, friends, it's not always that

  164. we have what we what we like. Sometimes you're given

  165. things that you don't really like. So my recent trip

  166. to a place I should not name where I don't

  167. really think internal augans. It's not my best thing, but

  168. I realized that I think internal august with with copy pink.

  169. It's not a very good combination. I would just say, right,

  170. internal august her Internet august, with with with with with

  171. with copying, it's a very good combination.

  172. I consume that. On top of that, I consumed ran

  173. after that.

  174. So this reird combination was working in my stomach and

  175. this stuff like that I was there. I felt out

  176. for the very moment I took one Internet organ Really,

  177. I just talked a few Okay, I mean you can't

  178. even swallow on it. Right, just swallow. I just hope

  179. for the best after that, right tu. After half an

  180. hour later, I excuse myself when the todilet. I just

  181. wantitted everything out that I went back to my hotel room.

  182. I started wanmitting again until ntil the next day they

  183. asked me, they don't anything.

  184. I'm still full for blast edam.

  185. So it is a sacrifice of what is familiar to

  186. you to what's It is a sacrifice. And many times

  187. in our life, if if you're not careful, we just

  188. only one what's familiar. We're very comfortable with familiar. But

  189. God's asking us to sing. Can you sing when it's

  190. not familiar to you and not? Can you trust me

  191. when it's not familiar to you or not? Even when

  192. you don't have can you just put your trust in him?

  193. Because life is never a straight road. Although I am

  194. as much as how you plan things to be. So

  195. I'm in the midst of sort of fixing up my

  196. house and this stuff like that. So I have to

  197. move off for a short period of time to do

  198. certain things. So I'm staying with my dad. My wife

  199. is staying with the parents because my place is not

  200. comfortable for two percent, So staying by dad. After twenty

  201. years of move out and not moving back in. I

  202. get the sort of a gleams of how he lives

  203. life by himself.

  204. And I realize that my dad.

  205. When I left, it's a different Dad when I'm moving

  206. right now, understanding his behavior better, understanding how he lives

  207. his life. Now, I understood the man I call dad

  208. a bit better. But it's never been a shape road

  209. because it's asking me that what time am I coming back?

  210. Dad?

  211. I'm going to be fifty. I'm going to be fifty.

  212. You're asking me what time am I coming back?

  213. Hey? Really? You know?

  214. I say that, don't worry about me, Okay, by that

  215. I come back. So my dad sees me at earliest

  216. eight a m. In the morning. I came back home.

  217. It's at ten pm and night. Why you ain't busy

  218. at your treasure? I say, yes, that it is busy. Well,

  219. you know my church is not a busy or no. Yes,

  220. I understand because your church your nako one so friends, grand.

  221. God's asked us to sing.

  222. It's not because he wants he just I don't just

  223. because he want't hear you sing, but the attitude, the mindset.

  224. I was sharing one group with this scripture.

  225. God loves karaoke. He asked us to sing.

  226. And many times, friends, we only choose songs in karaoke

  227. what we like. Those who are afreaking karaoke you know

  228. what I mean? Okay, maybe not here, Okay. The men

  229. all go karaoke after they only choose songs what they

  230. like to sing. I say, have you choose song that

  231. you don't like? You not where we had to sing one?

  232. Very hard? I say, yeah, sometimes in life very hard.

  233. So the power of friends is not in keeping silence.

  234. The power is not in holding back. The power is

  235. in the sewing. The power is not in saying that, oh,

  236. it's hard. The only prerequisite for mission is availability.

  237. Friends.

  238. The only prerequisite for missions is availability, because the Bible

  239. says go therefore in all the world friends, So therefore

  240. threads number one. Education is not a prerequisite for mission.

  241. You could be a PhD holder, or you could just

  242. be an SPM holder, But availability is more important. Right,

  243. how heavy you are, it's not a prerequisite. Although I

  244. tell people that if you're always go for missions, to

  245. come bit later, because three days of not your common food,

  246. definitely you shrink a bit one. Right. Fred's age is

  247. not a criteria for missions. The Bible nurses only the

  248. young one go out, the older ones stay be high

  249. or the they'll go out the younger one see behind.

  250. So basically everyone is encouraged to go.

  251. But the problem why don't we go is because, like

  252. worse one, we tend to allow the environment to say

  253. that we can't. We tend to allow the things to

  254. say that, you know what to be a homesleader. I

  255. see someone home leader after this, I didn't want to

  256. step down. It's okay to be quiet one. I know

  257. you're processing surf goal cannot one and many times in

  258. your life we allow that. That's why we don't see

  259. my gods seeing when you don't have it yet, be

  260. excited if not receive it yet. For example, hello time

  261. just now right some of for some of us says

  262. smiling is a sacrifice already to.

  263. Ask you to move your facial master bat.

  264. It's hard to give a proper head shake, not the

  265. one the finger tips only one, friends, but proper is

  266. a sacrifice.

  267. Friends.

  268. God allowed environment in our lives because he does give

  269. us opportunity for us to sing. And that's the reason

  270. why sometimes we don't have a break to because we

  271. have not yet believed.

  272. You will only sing when we believe friends.

  273. Isn't it true? You will only decide to go when

  274. you don't have any belief. You will only decide to

  275. step out from a familiar zone when we believe. But

  276. when we don't believe friends, no matter how persuasive a

  277. person is in front of the stage, you will not

  278. do it because we don't believe. But once you believe friends,

  279. it's automatic you sacrifice one. I have not seen any

  280. parents they say how my child will wake up in

  281. the middle of the nine. I forget it. Most they're automatically,

  282. will at least try. I won't use at least try

  283. because one time I was talking to somebody that day,

  284. I see how your family all four? So how do you?

  285. How do your dad react with? Oh, the first one

  286. he stay up the whole night, the whole time, and

  287. the stuff like what?

  288. But second, second, and fourth he give up?

  289. After that he asked, I asked the mummy to take

  290. care of everything, so he was absent, right, But when

  291. you believe friends, you will ultimately pay the price. So

  292. let me just show you a couple of old scripture spreads.

  293. The power is not in keeping silence. The power is

  294. in believing. So Romans Chapter eight was thirty four. You

  295. know the scripture already. Yeah, in all these things, we

  296. are more than conquerors. Friends, we need to have all

  297. these things first to know that we are more than conquerors.

  298. It is not another T shirt that we wear. For example,

  299. if you're into Iron Man, you finish the court, you

  300. get an eye completed T shirt, But many times people

  301. wear that when they're not even having to complete the costs.

  302. Have you seen people wearing that the kind of T shirt.

  303. I'm a finisher, but they never finish. Oh different? So

  304. why thinking husband right different? And this husband complete? That's

  305. what you can wear, right, But we have seen people

  306. in this guy show can complete and not Bully Girl

  307. can finish her right, But they're still weary anyway, because

  308. it's it's it's something that you tell people that you

  309. accomplish in one way or another. At least you bought

  310. the T shirt. But friends, here, what I'm trying to

  311. see is this that we can only say that we

  312. are more than conquerors when there's somebody to conquer. We

  313. can only declare that we can overcome when things to overcome.

  314. But if we've got the plate safe, meaning you say

  315. that within our own boundaries and all understanding, then there

  316. is there is not much need to express that we

  317. are more than conquerors. The Bible says, yet in all

  318. these things we are more than conquerors. So if you're

  319. in a situation right now, declare the scripture we are

  320. more than conquers. It also says it look chupter one

  321. was that he said with that, for with God nothing's impossible.

  322. For with God, nothing's impossible. First, the scripture sounds so nice,

  323. so good. But if there's no situation to declare that,

  324. that becomes a very nice statement on a wall, a

  325. very nice declaration in our house and God. This one

  326. wants to remind us again, it's either that you just

  327. came out from one or you're going into one situation.

  328. Life is never a straight road that we can plan

  329. out like ways like that. There's always different turns and

  330. last minute. Also, you get a blog accident and actually

  331. did to it so recently our company a ya extra,

  332. she went for a stuff retreat, any full time stuff.

  333. You know it. This is right, praise the last like

  334. a chef leader. It was so when you when you

  335. weren't retreat. You you thought, like you know, you know,

  336. refresher you wake up at night o'clock, right, well, we

  337. wake up earlier about eight thirty seventy in the morning, full, full,

  338. full day. The first day, friends were out in the

  339. afternoon sun about two pm, all the way until six pm,

  340. about five pm plus sunburned, everything like that, Christian becoming Christian, right,

  341. having to run a race in Pinang and stuff like that,

  342. looking for clues. Whereby, at the other day we asked ourselves,

  343. does it even really matter because Jesus is out of

  344. the price, right, always feel like not plague and the

  345. stuff like that. But Freds it got to a place

  346. whereby we were like I thought, it's supposed to be

  347. a stuff retreat felt like a boot cam because the

  348. next day there was cycling involved. If you ever use

  349. a rented bite, that's not your size, right that the

  350. chains keeps sleeping after every ten minutes and were cycling

  351. under you know, from eleven pm all the way a

  352. petty feud and stuff. For me, It was all right

  353. for the rest of my other colleagues, right, they came

  354. out by bumpas because the sea was very small. But

  355. what I'm trying to see everything else, everything else, all

  356. these all there were renting experience and just stuff like

  357. my friends, the extreme.

  358. Sports that we went for.

  359. Right, I could see people coming to the place where

  360. by just give we ready to go back to work.

  361. Then the stuff retreat.

  362. Also, because I think majority of people aging readio friends

  363. we join by ag they're they're there. They're in the

  364. thirties and forties and fifties. Right, So so something may

  365. not as a pew if you're in your trainees, go

  366. for it, and your thirty just give us a more

  367. time to sleep, that kind of thing. But we say

  368. that for God, for we've got nothing's impossible. So we

  369. have to work in groups and in teams and you know,

  370. with with other people, do you know how child? So

  371. the greatest challenge is not to love your enemies. I

  372. will tell people this. The greatest challenge is love your

  373. brother and sister in Christ. Because loving enemies is quite simple,

  374. but loving your brother is in Christ in the team

  375. is not that simple. When we're trying to decipher clue

  376. of friends, it was so challenging because everybody's running to everywhere.

  377. One participant that read, I'll tell you what youre think

  378. this school. Let me go hit first. Okay, let me

  379. go hit. Let me plow the land, let me survey

  380. the land first, so by time you wish there. Right,

  381. you al really got the clue. But we're doing but

  382. we're supposed to take photograph together.

  383. If now you'll be disqualified.

  384. Why am I sharing all this because I do not know,

  385. because I don't let it out somewhere. But were it

  386. was really a good time, my friends, really really a

  387. good time. Right, But first for we've got nothing's impossible.

  388. While we were there, we met that we passed plan.

  389. He was just sharing with us some stories about how

  390. he was. He was in Taiwan. He was the hit

  391. of I think the chairman of the Baptist convention. So

  392. in Taiwan, the Baptists have a lot of land, a

  393. lot of land. The founding the founding fathers quite the

  394. land and the stuff. But when they left they pass

  395. it on to the new generation. It's still of developing

  396. the land for the Kingdom of God. They were all

  397. fighting for the peace of that life, fighting after inheritance,

  398. like how to sell to make money and this like that.

  399. It just got me taking friends that how so much

  400. that you know the word of God said asking us

  401. to sing when we don't have, but when we have,

  402. we don't even want to sing. So there's a situation

  403. right now when you don't have, God's asking you to sing,

  404. right But if you have, do we even sing because

  405. it's always a sacrifice to sing, friends, whether we have

  406. or we don't have. And many times when we don't have,

  407. sometimes we do sing loud one friends, But the time

  408. when we have, we actually can stop singing because of

  409. dependency of God is lesser because we we we we

  410. have it, We've got in made, everything is provided for.

  411. And that's why God reminds us again that the more people,

  412. the more people. That is not having a child, that

  413. people with a child, because God wants us to be

  414. an encourage for their missions. It's all about going there

  415. to encourage another person. Friends, It's never asking us to

  416. remain where we are comfortable.

  417. And stuff like.

  418. First of all is the sacrifice point number two is

  419. this that friends, It's not just any form of sacrifice.

  420. Everybody is sacrificing.

  421. But the problem here is is that are we sacrificing

  422. you know, buiness to what got once here?

  423. What I'm trying to say Worse two.

  424. Worse two in fifty ISA fifty fources enlarge the place

  425. of your ten. Come on and let them stretch out

  426. the curtains of your dwelling.

  427. Friends. First part of worse two is doable.

  428. We enlarge, we enlarge sometimes, friends, when you talk about

  429. enlarging your ten, for example, we always think that maybe

  430. X renuation push push the lamp all the way to

  431. the I mean, push a building all the way to

  432. the end of your property lines and stuff like that.

  433. But can I just also give another description to your

  434. there's something at Larging your tent also means clearing out

  435. some things in your house that you never use anymore,

  436. never look at it anymore, never visited it anymore.

  437. Earlier on, once one.

  438. Guy said, although I still skip my primary exercise book,

  439. I asked, why are you keeping it? I don't know?

  440. Are you going to refer to it again? We should

  441. get hoping that yeah, I should have. I'd say that

  442. I can get a food mark. Here is study eight

  443. years old. We are still keeping staff.

  444. Friends.

  445. Many times you want to enlarge, right and sometimes gods asking,

  446. even if you at large, how will you use your space?

  447. Even if you at large? What are you going to

  448. put it. See, Friends, we don't just keep a mean

  449. A lot of times we like you said that we

  450. keep stuff that's valuable, which is true. But stuff that's

  451. valuable that we keep is very few because it's expensive.

  452. Stuff that's inexpensive, not very valuable. We keep the raffia strings.

  453. How many ruffia strings have we kept saying that one

  454. day we use it? Yes, I under said, please keep. Okay,

  455. but a deal with the Bundy can you can sells

  456. one packet to really friends? That thing is a bit

  457. liber really live the with top on friends. I'm not

  458. I'm not saying the tap brand, but just friends does

  459. odd ship We're still keeping it nothing. But what I'm

  460. trying to see here is that Gods ask you us

  461. to enlaunch our ten. Yet at the same time God's

  462. ask you what we're going to how we're going to

  463. use and large space. We also, God, please and launch

  464. my influence for what purpose? Lord? Please this bless me

  465. Lord with a great job. For what purpose? Because God

  466. can launch your ten? But what are you going to

  467. feel it up with? And many times we are filling

  468. out with stuff that we never look at, we visit.

  469. It's nice to have it, of course, it make us

  470. look like you know, we are studios. No, the library

  471. of books that we have very nice, but honestly, but

  472. we have not touched the books before.

  473. We can't buy books, but we don't read the.

  474. Said is actually buying a book friends. It is there,

  475. but we are accumulating I myself with one of the villains. Uh,

  476. we're accumulating books. One day we see we'll read it.

  477. So recently I have to give away a lot of

  478. stuff away, just asking my wife, do you still need

  479. a vanity table because your bodies rendity table when you

  480. got married, you never look at it one time is

  481. almost a prered. While we get married, you have when

  482. table like that. I say that, but if you're using

  483. it occupying space, you just give someone else who need

  484. it more. I give away a coffee table. Say there

  485. was our dining table. We used it for a while,

  486. but now you stay hoping one day that we use it.

  487. Maybe we we we maybe we have we create some

  488. ideas how we do use it. La indien that Jeddy

  489. just occupy lot of space. So we give we give

  490. effect things a bit away, right, stuff that is not

  491. going condition. We tray the but we give what I'm trying.

  492. Here is is gods and large of ten? How are

  493. you gonna use the space? Are you gonna put it

  494. with more? Take away to powess one day that you

  495. use it, or you're large of ten for a purperson

  496. for a reason. The second part of words source rit

  497. and potter facts. Let them stretch out the curtains of

  498. your dwelling, Let them stretch out. There's certain things you

  499. can do, but there are other things only other people

  500. can stretch you. That's why I'm gonna tie you back again,

  501. serving God, missious keys, because it is the damn that

  502. stretches us. Many times you ask us, Solf, why can't

  503. I do it? Because we have never allowed ourself to

  504. be stretched. You have never allowed ourself to be stretched.

  505. We need other people to stretch our capacity. I share,

  506. but the stuff we treat, yes, it's it's my teammates,

  507. who I call brothers and sisters in Christ that stretches

  508. my capacity for patients. It's true, friend's under the hot sun.

  509. Everybody got a different idea how to win the price.

  510. I'm like, then you get the older people like me.

  511. So it's not all about the reading. He says about

  512. I want to go back to my hot and enjoy

  513. the aircon. I don't care about being forfeitter and just

  514. go shot to the econd. I want to play the

  515. game anymore.

  516. Take it.

  517. No, we have to win, and then of course that

  518. you can't. But then you get other people like your LOGI.

  519. But you get to heaven.

  520. God know that's going to say welcome. You're the first

  521. person to arrive in heaven. But friends, I'm trying to

  522. see all these friends, but all the sacrifice. But the

  523. question is what are we sacrificing?

  524. Is it in? What is it what God wants?

  525. Because you need to allow other people to stretch you

  526. to discover one, you need to let go first of all,

  527. how do you let other people stretch you? The one

  528. you have to trust other people, whether you like them

  529. or you don't like them. Friends, it's other people that

  530. stretch your capacity. It's the other people that's going to

  531. shape you. We have a choice, it's how we want

  532. to respond. But if you don't let the others to

  533. stretch first, you'll not get the scripture that the promise

  534. of that a worse three that you extend to your

  535. left and to the right. See, there are others that's

  536. involved in our development friends, where we go for missions,

  537. the key thinking is that you're serving a group that

  538. may not understand what your cuisine is, but would you

  539. allow them to serve you to stretch your capacity. You

  540. may not be familiar with chearing ministry, but as you

  541. go to the field you have to preach, you have

  542. to serve. Would you will allow them to stretch your capacity?

  543. And say, God, if you want to use you can

  544. use me. We have Sidney's prayer before where we're growing

  545. up as a youth, as a teen, as a campus student, God,

  546. if you can use anyone, can use me. But as

  547. you grow older, friends, that use me comes with cer

  548. the terms of condition. Use me when I'm free, use

  549. me when I'm available, use me when I have my

  550. back to already, but what happened to the point in

  551. time when.

  552. We say God, just use me, just use me?

  553. The sacrifice, the power of sacrifice is not in this

  554. is the doing, friends, because everybody just due. But it's

  555. also in the attitude. It's also in our attitude. Would

  556. you certainly said, okay, you asked me to serve everywhere

  557. the sera for example, right, But attitude is not right, friends,

  558. It's almost after all people ask you to serve that

  559. you give people masam like that, right, you give you

  560. our face. Let as you say, constant face to face

  561. all the time on you. You play in instruments that

  562. will smile. Come, wait for the preacher to end the message,

  563. to go back home, which are good to end very soon?

  564. All right? Yeah, I mean you just can't wait to

  565. go back. And this is not the place you want

  566. to be. But that the same. See I'm showing up,

  567. I'm still serving. I'm but friends, is that really what

  568. God wants from us? Just an action? Asked me to

  569. give a gifler like that? Also, God re haavy people

  570. in our church. I just give la just to keep

  571. us quiet. Friends, It is not about keeping us quiet?

  572. Is pleasing God? Adare of the day? See the wadow

  573. with the two mis You do have to turn to

  574. the chapter. But the wadow with the two is God

  575. not say the people who give from the extra from

  576. the wealth is wrong. God, that will say those people

  577. who are rich and give extra gift from the from

  578. the surplus is wrong. They just give her But there

  579. is no power, no change. But the lady with the

  580. too much, she give all that she has because of

  581. the act of secretary to please the Lord. And many

  582. times now journey friends, there is always going to be

  583. a choice whether or not to please him or not

  584. to please him. It is a choice, and there whether

  585. or not we want to or not. And the way

  586. we please godfriend, is not just because it's an action.

  587. God someway advise we won't be blessed, But it's how

  588. much we know Him. To the degree we know God

  589. is how much we want to please him. It is

  590. not about doing more for church. It is not about

  591. going for missions really, and the day is the heart

  592. issue God. This one wants to remind us again, friends,

  593. So if I would ask you the fashion Christ in

  594. your mind, how Christ look like? When I say fashion Christ,

  595. meaning to say that you know, a lot of times

  596. people say that.

  597. They believe they are Christian.

  598. I think the thing I want to challenge people these

  599. days is that when you say your believer, what kind

  600. of believer are you?

  601. When I say, what can't believer are you?

  602. Because many times we assume, just because we are believer,

  603. that they have the same conviction.

  604. For example, when you and when when.

  605. The person gets safe right after one week, we think

  606. it's automatically a person know how to worship the Lord

  607. because you see other people doing just lift that behind

  608. this thing you sing right number one, We think that

  609. the individual know how to pray after one thing, they

  610. accept Jesus or read the Bible.

  611. And that's why God this morning wants to remind us.

  612. Again and again. Friends, how are you ship? Are you

  613. shipping Jesus according to your lifestyle? How are you shipping

  614. Jesus according to the world of God. I think many

  615. times a lot of believers have shaped Jesus according to

  616. the lifestyle hashtag blessed hashtag You know, God provides.

  617. And we are fashioning in the sense of like. And

  618. they say, and we know. It's a scary part of friends.

  619. Scary part is I call this the theology of the

  620. gym only because when you go to a gym, right, friends,

  621. people first time do not know how to live weights.

  622. They they are how to live weights.

  623. Right, you understand, seventy percent out from the noise of

  624. seventy percent, they're passing down to a new new be

  625. they just joined you. Let me teach how the carryweights.

  626. I've seen it before. The person was in the gym

  627. after three weeks teaching other new people to use the ways.

  628. After the person the person from it is not even

  629. correct yet. No, friends, haven't got the fun. Please do

  630. not think I'm hitting out somebody, all right, So we

  631. were thinking that who was dipsed talking about my personal

  632. observation I've beat the gym before and teaching, So we

  633. were like we were talking about from being gym.

  634. No, no, no, no, no, I've maybe could be by

  635. shall I say?

  636. Right? But I've seen before people teaching other people when

  637. they don't have the full understanding of the purpose of

  638. why they stand in the particular way, how they live

  639. withs and could you imagine right now? Same with Christianity,

  640. if you don't understand the fullness of it. We are

  641. passing on and down to a conviction that's based on

  642. our lifestar conviction rather than God. The conviction and the

  643. danger after a while is the next few generations we'll

  644. take after that. If you look at songs these days,

  645. you get a girl of people saying that God.

  646. Will come true for me.

  647. Then you get a small selective group of people write

  648. the right songs.

  649. God.

  650. It's all about sacrifice. God, I'll give you my life,

  651. I will sacrifice you pay the price afterward, refashion God

  652. in the way of our lifestyle. And sometimes it's very

  653. dangerous because then we only have a very limited view.

  654. Because if God says and we like to enlarge our

  655. tents right now, come on, we like to latch your tests.

  656. The second part of the scripture say, would you let

  657. allow others in your life to stretch of the criticism

  658. of your dwelling? Come on, would you allow others to

  659. come into your life to stretch of the criticism of

  660. your dwelling.

  661. It also says it worse to do not spare? Do

  662. not spare?

  663. And many times in our life, friends, we're very generous

  664. with our self, but whereas less we're very stingy with

  665. other people, or maybe a raised generously other people, restive

  666. with yourself, which I will weigh. But God said do

  667. not spare, And this morning God wants to remind us

  668. again in worse two, lengthen your costs, strengthen your stakes. So, friends,

  669. if missions is about sacrifice, then the sacrifice is about obedience.

  670. And finally here is these that friends, why is it

  671. important for us to understand missions? It's because the power

  672. of dying to self. I just want one one las scripture.

  673. I share this.

  674. You are right, John Chap The Travels twenty four. Just

  675. turn me right now, jo't chup The Travels twenty four.

  676. Good turn your do there, John Chap The travel Verse

  677. twenty four says, here.

  678. Is this that most surely I say to you.

  679. Unless a grain of wheed falls into the ground and dies,

  680. remains alone. But when it dies it produced much grain.

  681. The power is actually is in the seed. The seed

  682. has everything to multiply and to grow to for much grain.

  683. But the challenge is not in the seed, friends, The

  684. challenge is this to be buried in the ground. I

  685. have not seen any seed, they say, I want to

  686. be buried. I have not seen any sea. They jump

  687. into the side by itself. You buy the seed from

  688. the farmer, it's in the packaging.

  689. No seed.

  690. You open up the packaging, you solve like we decide

  691. to just take its own seat life and just jump

  692. into the grounder and be buried. What happens? Friends, you

  693. understand what I'm trying to say. You've not open the seat,

  694. jumping by itself and decided to just be buried into

  695. the ground. Friends, The seed has to be placed in

  696. someone's hand to be buried. The problem is that will

  697. be with the friends because we didn't us. We are

  698. fashioned in the image of God. So if the Bible

  699. says for God so love the world friends, they give

  700. his only son. The same capacity that God can love

  701. the world is the same capacity that God has given

  702. us as well. We have the capacity to love because

  703. we are fashioned in the image of God. But the

  704. challenge is, is that not because that we have not

  705. discovered the capacity fans, It's because we have never allowed

  706. ourselves to be buried? See we one worst treat in

  707. NA fifty four. Expand the left and to the right.

  708. Come on, true or not? Who whoever pray God, this

  709. made me the tail? Another hit? Nobody pays. Always say

  710. it makes me the hit. Another tale. After all you

  711. go to you go to any shop, it's FISHI carrier,

  712. no FISHI talma, I mean it's fish you think about.

  713. It's should carry all the way.

  714. I'm not given you any shot by the fish tail,

  715. because every part of the fish can be eaten. But

  716. it's fishing carry fish still carry. But it's still it's

  717. severe anyway. But but anyway, this beside the point. The

  718. point here is the first. If the sea requires to

  719. be buried, requires to be buried in order for the

  720. capacity to grow. And many times in our life, as

  721. I would bring it so close the next ten minutes,

  722. is that we have never allowed ourself to be buried.

  723. We have never allowed ourself to be in the dirt,

  724. to be in a place whereby vulnerable, to be a

  725. place whereby.

  726. God.

  727. If you want use me recently point the question, we

  728. just say this, but if Abraham sacrifice Isaac and Isaac

  729. never returned, Abraham sacrifice Isaac and Isaac never returned, will

  730. you would Abram still live the lot? Not if our

  731. lives with Isaacs in our life, we don't sacrifice. I mean,

  732. if you sacrifice, if that Isaac now returns, will we

  733. still love the lot? Because it's always a challenge. Friends,

  734. because many times our surroundings, everything that we have right

  735. now gets going for church, there's a place to stay

  736. right now. You've got the band that's ready to leaders

  737. in the worship. You've got the picture on Sunday. You

  738. got any problems, You've gotta just part coltinated that looks

  739. and cares for you, that's on call for twenty four

  740. to seven. You got amazing Jason Martinez, who's who's ever

  741. ready to to to walk? YouTube stuff one, But what

  742. with all that is not there? For example, will we

  743. still love God? Because in our life and our journey friends,

  744. as I close soon it is it is always a challenge, friends,

  745. to sacrifice the problem. I think I always understand if

  746. you're if you're published region Underseid sacrifice. Probably not in

  747. the sacrifice alone. The problem is in the obedience, whether

  748. we sacrifice it what God wants, what God wants. Come

  749. off our comfort zone, Come off a comfort zone. Invite

  750. of friends to church, right, pray with someone, walk along

  751. someone is something is very easy to be the same community.

  752. But when you have a community whereby an individual or

  753. no job, helping to find a job, walk through the process,

  754. or helping to understand some shortcomings, helping to walk to

  755. pray to with him. It's a journey. Friends, It's never easy.

  756. But that's what God asked us to do. At the

  757. end of the day, before coming here, brother came up

  758. to me, I just resemb my job yesterday. So I

  759. just resemb my job. I got some of the plans.

  760. I say, let me let me come back from my

  761. for mo what I need to do. I say, we

  762. see that we pray together, Well you'll see it true.

  763. I mean, will you allow other people to stretch your timing?

  764. Because it's never easy, friends, it's never easy. So it

  765. starts with missions and sacrifice. Sacrifice, it's about obedience. Finally,

  766. it's understanding that we have the capacity. Were like a

  767. seat that needs to be buried. We are like a

  768. seat that needs to be buried. Because if you don't

  769. bury the seat, friends, the multiplication won't happen. If you

  770. don't marry the seat, Friends, the worst three expand to

  771. the left and the right one won't happened. We love

  772. the expansion, we love the hit, and that we love

  773. to be blessed. We love all the But the first

  774. step he who desires to come after me, ms first

  775. deny himself and take up the cross and follow me.

  776. The Bible says in Metri six to the three says,

  777. sicky first, the kingdom of God and his righteousness seek

  778. him first. Do you know how hard sometimes for earth

  779. again to trust? To trust? We say again, before we've

  780. got nothing is impossible. But if there's no situation, there

  781. is no application. When there's no need, there is silence,

  782. but there is an understanding behind it. That's why sometimes

  783. in our journey, in our life. We can say for

  784. we've got nothings impossible. Friends, it's a closer And I

  785. want to courage your friends. I do not know where

  786. you are with your journey, but I just want to

  787. courage your friends as you begin to go in your

  788. Christian faith, as you really growing church and your own

  789. walk with the Lord, until the time the Lord costs

  790. you home. Friend, there's so much to learn about the Lord,

  791. so much to learn how he fashioned you, how he

  792. made you, so much to discover that you know that

  793. you're not just made for a singular purposonally just to

  794. get the job and stuff like that. But really, in

  795. the Kingdom of God, Friends, there's so much more you

  796. could do. So pass a publishing with us. A story

  797. in Taiwan, that girl of young people in regardless of

  798. the denomination de said to come together and turn a

  799. place whereby what used to be a hotel, like a

  800. like a college, that they turn it around. They turn

  801. it around, they come together, they raise it own funds

  802. from different denominations, raise it own funds just to do

  803. up the place again, to give glory.

  804. Back to a place that they turned it to a

  805. Bible school.

  806. After that girl, young people without much, but believe God

  807. has called them there for a reason. Try do not

  808. show where you are. Virginia, say again, but would you

  809. allow God, friends to even stretch your capacity? Really to

  810. stretch your capacity? But I can't really? Then go back

  811. the worst one single barren when you can't afford it,

  812. that's when you should sing. You keep saying no, I can't,

  813. I can't. That's where you should sing. And that's why

  814. you allow worse to to come in and large place

  815. of your tent sometimes and enlarging means letting things go.

  816. Then you your place is a largerity.

  817. Our lives is cluttered with too many things, too many

  818. past experience, too many, too many.

  819. Hurts and pain we need to let go.

  820. If you don't let go, fans, if you're a community,

  821. more space, even God in large your ten, you're going

  822. to fill up with more hurt, more pain. But something

  823. larging me to let certain things go, to clean up
