  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. God has given to our church. So if you call

  4. ex church, I know exper is new two years, but

  5. actually be a while for being around for a long

  6. time time. You hear you maybe were from other church

  7. and you came to plant and we are church planning

  8. church right. And God has given to our church a

  9. lot of things that are unique, you know, I will

  10. say unique. One of the key things that unique is

  11. of course discipleship. Well, actually it's not really unique. It's

  12. just the way where we do it. It's unique. Uh,

  13. And sometimes it can be uncomfortable, sometimes it can be wow,

  14. so serious. I have to meet up, you know, every

  15. other day. I have to talk about life, you know,

  16. have to grow. But every church. Friends, if you didn't know,

  17. and if you're a believer, let me tell you today

  18. that we're all following after Christ. Amen. We all follow

  19. off to Jesus. So the bottom line at the end

  20. of the day is to follow Jesus right, to be

  21. a disciple of Christ. So even as our church we

  22. go into disciples ship, we talk about values, we talk

  23. about different things. You know, the ultimate goal is to

  24. be more like Jesus, to look more like Jesus. Amen.

  25. I'm not asking the ladies here to start growing beard,

  26. because that's how we think Jesus look like. Maybe some

  27. view your head like Jesus, Hella. You know he used

  28. a lot of hat and shoulders if you watch those series.

  29. More like Jesus, not just the look, but the conduct,

  30. the spirit, the value your your cash had they miss? Ultimately,

  31. we should look more like just We shouldn't look more

  32. like church goers, you get what I mean. We should

  33. more like Christ. We should want more like oh you know,

  34. I come on, yeah, yeah, you come to church on Sunday.

  35. But that's not the ultimate goal. It's not just your tenant,

  36. it's not just how you dress. It's to be more

  37. like Christ. Amen. And one of the unique qualities I

  38. believe unique okay about our church, or more like values

  39. that we hold close to and something that I personally

  40. believe in as well, is always giving God only your best. Okay.

  41. So we're writing notes, and I'll encourage you to write

  42. notes because a short pencil is better than a long memory. Right,

  43. Always give only your best to God. Part two. And

  44. the last time I was here, I talked about the why. Okay,

  45. oh you know it is just ex no, no, no, friends,

  46. it is from the Bible. It is biblical that we

  47. should give our best to God. It is biblical right,

  48. and you can go and listen to that. I'm not

  49. gonna go too deep into that, but I just do

  50. a bit of a recap. Okay. So the first thing

  51. we got to know is that it is a heart matter,

  52. not a law matter. Do you know that it's a

  53. heart matter? Do you know that everything that Christ addresses

  54. in the Bible is talking about the heart right, talking

  55. about what you believe in, talking about the inside. It's

  56. not a law matter. It's not about all of you

  57. must follow tennis. All you must look at a way

  58. addresses is the way. No no, no, no, no. Oh,

  59. but then pass away why. Sometimes we care about their why.

  60. Sometimes the leaders talk about their why. Sometimes you know,

  61. we are quote unquote forced to use that. Nobody's forcing

  62. you here, friends, So please don't use their word. Nobody's

  63. forcing you to do anything. It's a free country. You

  64. can walk out the door if you I pray you're

  65. not offended by why I said. But anyway, yesterday in

  66. Elder I learned as leaders we just preach what God

  67. gives us and then the holy spray of convict your

  68. So how you feel right now is in a way

  69. not my problem, right, corn, Now we learned that yesterday. Right.

  70. My job here is to disciple and share how you

  71. receive it. It's your problem, not my problem. Right, It's

  72. not just your probably, it's the holy space problem. Now,

  73. So I pray you receive it. Well, Okay, again, I

  74. know I hope that you know that I love you,

  75. that I'm telling you these things, that is. But it

  76. is a heart matter, amen, It is a hard matter.

  77. A lot of things is a heart metter. It's not

  78. just about action. So friends, please don't be so preoccupied

  79. with the law. Don't be so preoccupied with Oh this

  80. is how you're doing. Oh you're so squala. Actually space

  81. for a squaler, right, No, you don't be preoccupied with it.

  82. Because out of the heart, the action follow. Out of

  83. the heart, the action follow. So we have to touch

  84. the action sometimes have to one. But it's not about

  85. the action. So don't get too legally stick with me,

  86. because I'm not being legal legally. Stick with you. You'll

  87. get it. Okay. It is the hard issue, And do

  88. you know that only God can save your soul. Only

  89. he can. No one cannot. You know, I not because

  90. he's the one that created it. You didn't make your soul.

  91. I didn't make your soul. The devil obviously didn't make

  92. your soul. I pray he doesn't touch your soul. Right, No,

  93. no one. Only God made your soul. Only God. And

  94. because he's the one that made your soul, only he

  95. can save it, no one else. Amen. And this blueprint

  96. for a redemption plan has always been to save our souls,

  97. to save us to not not to save our status,

  98. not to say, save our belongings, material wealth, not to

  99. save our achievements, not to save the things that are

  100. on this earth. Do you know things on this earth

  101. are temporal? Recently I was talking to someone. They're like, oh,

  102. while you go in gym, has suddenly change your life

  103. and and everything. You know, when you face death you

  104. reflect on a lot of things. Do you know when

  105. you face death, when your life was going to end

  106. or end and you have a second chance, you tend

  107. to reflect and re decide on a lot of things

  108. in your life. You tend to not take things slightly anymore.

  109. Not to say, before this you were now. I remember

  110. the first time I had a first encounter with with

  111. with death. You know, I know we have kids here,

  112. but don't worry, I won't go to gorey in it.

  113. I had a friend who he you know, same age

  114. with me. We went to kindergarten together. And there was

  115. a story in the Bible, and some of you might

  116. be old enough to notice where three youths to save

  117. someone they passed away in KKB they drowned three One

  118. of you is my friend, and and we kind of

  119. well not really lost contact, but we still want to

  120. keep contact. And I remember finding out about his demids

  121. and I went for his weak service. You know, he

  122. was a key youth leader, you know, different church, but

  123. I went for his service, and I remember staring his

  124. face as a teenager. Well, I tell you it's really

  125. then I had to have some existential thing happening with

  126. me at that time. When you face that, when you

  127. realize that things are temporal, you will have different perspective. Really,

  128. But when you have not or when you're still young,

  129. then sometimes we tend to take things for granted. Sometimes

  130. we tend to sometimes other things that are actually not

  131. important one not become more important. And we kind of

  132. lose track of what is the real deal. So, friends,

  133. why we need a renewed mind. We need to ask

  134. God to renew our mind right because the reality is

  135. we are living in the natural world. You know that

  136. we are living in a natural world. And for those

  137. of us who are living here, if we apply the

  138. logic of the natural world to God, we are going

  139. to be confused. This is why I have given up

  140. trying to figure out God and why he does what

  141. he does. I have given up. I'm not God, but

  142. I spend more time studying his word to know who

  143. he is. Read it and try and figure out what

  144. he does. Yo, You'll get that because knowing who he is,

  145. then I can understand slowly why he does what he

  146. does because I know who he is. By giving I'm

  147. trying to Oh, you know, God, you give me a

  148. promise about this, and then why it's not happening. Maybe

  149. I'm not doing enough, not okay enough, you know, Maybe

  150. I'm not you know, combing my hand. I don't know

  151. what is your challenge. If God has given you the promise,

  152. then seek him. Don't seek other things. Why do we

  153. see other things? Oh? I don't understand well you won't understand,

  154. because do you do? Friends? Do you are you telling

  155. me you understand that when the Bible says lay your

  156. hands on someone and they'll get healed, you understand how

  157. it works? Please tell me I want to learn you

  158. mean when I when we believe in it right Christian,

  159. we believe in it right, someone is not well, we

  160. lay hands anyway. For those of you have been praying

  161. for my son, he's fever brook today. Thank you so

  162. much for braying lay hands are and then get healed.

  163. And we've heard of healing tes simonies before. You mean

  164. it's logical. No, it's not logical. It's supernatural. We believe

  165. in a supernatural god. We believe in the God of

  166. the supernatural. Why are we trying to figure him out

  167. and stuff him in the box When it comes to

  168. our life. We can pray for supernatural things easily when

  169. it doesn't know about yourself. If God can heal cancer,

  170. don't you think he'll be interested in your job and

  171. your life? Don't you think he'll be interested in who's

  172. your next? I don't know if you're believing for a

  173. life partner, a renewed mind, Friends, it has to be

  174. a renewed mind. Why do I believe in healing because

  175. I've seen it happen. Why do I believe in God?

  176. Why do I believe in reconciliation because I've seen it

  177. happen to my own life. So I'm here. I'm not

  178. trying to convince you because I know more or mostart No, No,

  179. I have enough life experience. We've got to know how

  180. he works. Praise the Lord. You can ask us as

  181. Steven the process of planting xbu it is a step

  182. of faith. You know. I can confidently tell you he

  183. understands how faith works. He understands how scary it is

  184. to sometimes just say, okay, I think I feel I'm

  185. praying and God is asking me to do this, but

  186. I'm not seeing any open door. John Chung didn't suddenly

  187. come and say pass the Steve and here's a million dollars. Okay.

  188. I purpose you see, because I know he will one

  189. day he one day ah more than one million to

  190. be able to give aay ah more more. Not just

  191. one million, okay, must be more like you take one

  192. million and then give bro friends. You need a renewed mind,

  193. and this is where faith comes in. This is where

  194. faith comes in Hebrews eleven one two days Now. Faith

  195. is a substance of things hoped for, the evidence of

  196. things not seen for by it, the elders obtain a

  197. good testimony by faith. We understand that the world's were

  198. framed by the word of God, so that the things

  199. we just see we're not made of things which are visible.

  200. Please remember that you worship a supernatural God, and please

  201. remember that it's very hard to try and logify him

  202. because you are like stuffing him in a box when

  203. you do that. Oh this how God works, all these

  204. how the church works. Friends, you don't know. I don't know.

  205. Why does sometimes tragedy happen? I love how passit? Cliff

  206. Nectar answered that question apologies, you know what's his answer?

  207. I don't know, because that's the truth. We don't know

  208. why tragedy happens. We don't know why bad things happen

  209. in our life. But do you know that God See

  210. I don't know why it happened, but I know that

  211. God can turn the tragedy into a testimony. So we

  212. shall more brought them to know. Why are? Why are? Why?

  213. Why this happened to me? We won't know, but it's

  214. better to know it. Even if it happens, I can

  215. call upon God. That to me is a more important

  216. knowledge and practice. Yeah, it don't make sense, don't make

  217. sense at all, But after a while, you don't make sense. Okay.

  218. So we're talking about always giving got our best? Okay,

  219. and for fun, right, let me ask you this question now, okay, okay,

  220. we got a Hayby stuff. Now we go hopefully fan stuff. Okay,

  221. what would stop us from giving God our best? What

  222. do you think? Okay? Let me ask you what will

  223. stop John? What will stop us from giving ours and anything?

  224. What do you think will stop us from giving got

  225. our best? Problems in life? Problems in life? I may

  226. ask Sharon, what will stop you from giving got your best?

  227. Or if not you your friend? Counting the cost? Counting

  228. the cost? Very deep? Ma, what do you mean? Please

  229. please explain? Oh, the cause is too cause is too

  230. high on giving our best? Okay, okay, let me ask

  231. you Siah, Yeah, what will start you giving got your best? Disappointment? Disappointment? Okay?

  232. Let me ask Adrian what wastop you from giving got

  233. your best? Scene you're seeing or this sun you're hockey? Ma?

  234. After this? No? Okay, for funer. I wrote down some things,

  235. and I tried to put everything and see, Okay, I

  236. share you. Okay, Again, this is not an exhaustive list. Okay,

  237. there are many many things that can stop you from

  238. giving out your best. Okay, but you know, just I

  239. I wrote down some things. Okay, and again, if you,

  240. if you friends, know that I love you. If you,

  241. tarasa is not mere because I didn't go to your

  242. Facebook page and I didn't do a background check on

  243. you to find out that you're gonna come here and

  244. then share this so that no, no, if you feel

  245. anything really the Holy Spirit, because I have no idea

  246. who's doing what? Okay, I don't have that cow six

  247. sens on Okay, I wish I have sometimes, but I

  248. don't have. You know what can possibly stop us from

  249. giving our best? Comfort?

  250. You know?

  251. I know we are creatures? Friends? Can can I share you?

  252. This is? But Noah, comfort is not bad. I want

  253. to be comfortable, right, and and it's okay. You know

  254. it's okay to be comfortable. It's okay to look for comfort, right.

  255. We are creature's comfort. We want to be comfortable, right.

  256. Who wants to be anxious all the time? Nobody wants

  257. to be anxious, so please, I'm not knocking comfort. However,

  258. if comfort becomes God, your catch that if comfort becomes

  259. God too, fara passa Steven want to walk to one

  260. you now?

  261. Yo?

  262. Why does serve is so long? One? Stop? Blah talk

  263. so long? So young?

  264. Hey?

  265. Hey, we're boring, lah, very boring. This is not as happening.

  266. I want to go to the church down the street.

  267. More happening, right, entertain me? You know this done? Suit me? La? God?

  268. I don't know why you will ask me to come here.

  269. Comfort comfort can stop us from even got our best

  270. like you're not a word, okay, I try very hard

  271. to put to see. Okay, it's not here a caare

  272. You're right here? Change change, spare change? Do you have

  273. the spare change mentality? It's very uh total countercultures towards

  274. sharing shared just now cannot give too much? Right? Do

  275. you have speach change your mentality? Nah? Just give change change?

  276. You need something of this God, you need something only

  277. got two minutes? Spare change mentality, spare change? You know

  278. what else can stop us? Commitments past that? Having commitment important.

  279. I'm committed to my wife, yes, yes, but other commitments

  280. who is your God. Do you know that that can

  281. stop you from giving out your best? Because when we

  282. talk about God, love the Lord, your God with all

  283. your heart, soul, mind and strength. He covered every area

  284. God first, everything else second. That's other commuments can stop you. Sorry, Yah,

  285. too busier, I won't be able to do and and friends,

  286. can I can I share this with you before you'll

  287. go the other you know, let me let me finish

  288. this list. I will talk about that point. I'm busy ler,

  289. there's something important to need to do. See, it's not wrong,

  290. our friends, I'm not knocking that you have other commnments,

  291. but it's got first, that's the question. And to be

  292. really honest, if you put in first, all the other

  293. commuments will be taken care of. There is a promise

  294. that I will tell you. Do you know what else

  295. can stop us? Complaints? Have you met someone who complain

  296. all the time? Not fun? Right? Do you think a

  297. person that complains or them will give their best? Noah

  298. the fifth one? Well, this son, I don't know you

  299. can understand that I wrote you combat trauma. Huh. I'm

  300. trying to put everything in Okay, basically past bad experiences

  301. with church, with leaders, with Christians, just the same one.

  302. They only want us to give offering big, big money. Huh,

  303. same one. They want us to be model Christian in

  304. the church. Friends, I'm not interested in that now, and

  305. I think you can talk to past us. He's not

  306. interesting there as well. It's not about that, So don't

  307. get too preoccupied with the law. It is a matter

  308. of the heart, right and again, non exhaustive. You can

  309. think about anything anything. Maybe you have your own unique challenge, Okay,

  310. put it there, but let's not focus on the negative.

  311. Let's focus on the positive. So we're gonna talk today

  312. about how do I give got my best? How do

  313. I give got my best? Okay? A bit hard to

  314. think about these Christians sometimes, so I rephrase it a

  315. little bit, Okay, I rephrase it to how do you

  316. love God the best? When you think about it this way,

  317. it changes your perspective right, a little bit, right, And

  318. it starts with love, correct, It starts with love. That

  319. is the first motivation. Do you know that it's very

  320. hard to give your best to someone or something you

  321. don't love. It is so hard to give your best

  322. to someone you don't love. It's tough. You don't want

  323. to be there you hear a job, you think you're

  324. gonna give your best. If you hear a job, no,

  325. you want right? Have you been motivated by love before? Right?

  326. Some of you here half and are still being motivated

  327. by love? Praise the Lord? Right? Uh? You know you

  328. you still remember? Not for those of years who fell

  329. in love before first time? Then the boys will say,

  330. I let you whoa non stop every week every day

  331. talk when no, no, not poto not texting right last time?

  332. Me and my wife is like two hours every day.

  333. That that's not whyfe Yet you know, when you're motivated

  334. by love, everything is exciting. It's cloud nine. You know

  335. all the bad stuffs we can all see blinded, really right?

  336. Then after married, then you see everything. That's why we

  337. always give you advice. Friends. When you're dating, open both ice, Creig.

  338. When you are married, close one eye. Sometimes both eyes

  339. also have to close. Okay, then you will be a

  340. happy marriage. If not, now you'll be a very grumpy, grumpy, angry.

  341. Don't don't, don't, don't know, don't don't Okay, so they

  342. thing now, But I see when you're dating very hard

  343. because you're in love Cloud nine, always say no, the

  344. person can do it no wrong, you know. Yeah, let's

  345. love God. Amen. Let me give us another thing that

  346. I've learned. Something I've learned when I'm married, I mean

  347. married for a while. Lay. Yeah, some you are more

  348. longer married than me. Do you know that when you

  349. love someone, you can love someone your way? You know

  350. a lot of us when you lost someone, we lost

  351. someone away. Okay. I'm a person that gives excepts away.

  352. So you know, if if I love my wife, I'll

  353. do that. But do you know that sometimes it is

  354. more effective to love someone the way they want to

  355. be loved. You're you're following me or not? Let me

  356. give you an example. Okay, I'll give an example of

  357. these couple, you know, the wife and the us. Again

  358. it's fake or not not Realna, Okay, so it's you

  359. the wife. The wife is a person that loves work

  360. or affirmation. But then the husband is like, no, I

  361. must self serve the person. So then the husband's self

  362. self self give their best, you know, to the wife

  363. every day, and then one day the wife said, they

  364. we need your talk. You don't love me anymore. When

  365. we were dating, you used to send all the lovely

  366. the we text to me, But now you don't do

  367. it anymore. You don't love me, remember the way she

  368. wants to be loved. What's her affirmation? And he's like, hey,

  369. I sacrifice my life for you. You want that thing

  370. I buy? I work so hard, so familiar. Please don't

  371. raise your hand. I work so I give you my best.

  372. What even I don't love you, I'm doing everything. And

  373. then they frusted. I cannot think I cannot take it.

  374. Then they go and meet John and Jen and said John,

  375. Jan and how how and Enjoy and Jen? Because they

  376. are not part of the emotional thing all they see.

  377. They're like, John'll tell a guy, ay, brother, why don't

  378. you every day you text your wife say I love you?

  379. And then Jane will tell the wife, why not that

  380. every day you cut the fruits for him in the

  381. morning ext of service man. And then suddenly, a suddenly, ah,

  382. a new breath of life in the marriage. You'll see

  383. that it's sometimes it's not to say they don't love

  384. each other, No, it's just the way they're loving each other.

  385. That's something I learned so valuable, the lesson so valuable.

  386. I learned that in my marriage. Do you know that

  387. it works the same with God? Oh? God, I love you.

  388. I love you, I love you. I will sacrifice and

  389. do everything for you. Let's learn God wrote how to

  390. love him. John fourteen fifteen eighteen says, if you love me,

  391. keep my commandments. Ouch. Oh, how many of you feel

  392. that if you love me, keep my commandments, and I

  393. will pray the Father and he will give you another helper.

  394. Who's this helper? The Holy Spirit, that he may abide

  395. with you forever, The spirit of truth, whom the world

  396. cannot receive because it neither sees him. Don't seem apparent

  397. gonna boss here. This is why Christians, you are gonna

  398. be the weirdest people on the face of this earth.

  399. You are gonna be the weirdest people. Do you know

  400. that your bosses and people who do not know Christ

  401. will not understand you. They won't understand now why you

  402. are so happy even in times of travel. They won't

  403. understand why you're so positive. They won't understand how. They

  404. won't understand, So you don't try the so hard to

  405. make them understand now why you try so hard to

  406. fit in when you're different? Because the world the Bible

  407. say they're not They're not gonna get you. They're not

  408. gonna understand why you're so caring, because you have the

  409. Holy Spirit and that makes you different. So why you

  410. try so hard to fit in the world. They they

  411. cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows him.

  412. They cannot They will not understand. But you know him,

  413. for he dwells with you and will be in you.

  414. And he said, he promised, I will not leave your offense,

  415. I will come to you. You're different ready, our friends,

  416. So don't try so hard to be like the world.

  417. You're different. Ready, you got Holy s free in New Edema.

  418. You're different. If people ask why you so happy, just

  419. tell him I got Jesus. Huh maya gonya so gonya soul.

  420. But I don't wandert Yeah, yeah, I say, I know

  421. you don't understand. Come to church and you understand. They

  422. don't understand because they don't have him. We have Him,

  423. We get it. I just use the example of prayer.

  424. Just now, how absurd it is and illogical? Is this

  425. that we can believe the Alleyhans and prayer in Jesus

  426. name will happen? Illogical? Or not? Go and talk to

  427. people who don't know Jesus. They won't understand. Go and

  428. talk to your your friends, your family, but they won't understand.

  429. They won't understand because they don't have him. You want,

  430. you want them to understand. You give him to them,

  431. then they will understand. So stop trying to argue. No point.

  432. John fourteen twenty one says, he who has my commandments

  433. and keeps them, it is he who loves me out

  434. and he who loves me will be loved by my father,

  435. and I will love him and manifest myself to him.

  436. So you want to love God, keep his commandments. Read

  437. the Bible, Oh but passed away. I don't know his commments.

  438. Then read law. You don't read the Bible, you don't

  439. know the commonments. How are you going to keep the commandments?

  440. And then we can be here, And then you'll be

  441. here talking to Passus Steven arguing Passus Steven about why

  442. it's kosure and what it's not kosher. You understand that

  443. upper it halal and upper n Christian. Can you read yourself? Friends?

  444. The Bible is here for a reason. No, And can

  445. I encourage you? If you don't have a written Bible,

  446. please go and get one. Don't rely on your digital Bible.

  447. You'll run out battery on imagine. Oh you know I

  448. need the Bible. I go in susus sus sus such

  449. no internet. No matter what, this one will always have

  450. connection with God. The signal very strong. Or you need

  451. to do is open it keeping his commandments. What's the

  452. second thing? Loving others? John twenty one, fifteen nineteen. What

  453. does it say? Let's read John twenty one, fifteen nineteen.

  454. Let's learn how to love God. Imen because when we

  455. learn how to love God, then we will learn how

  456. to give him our best make sense? Not so let's

  457. turn to John. John chapter nineteen is nineteen. No sorry, John,

  458. chapter twenty one, verse fifteen to nineteen. Let me read now,

  459. so he says heyes. So when when they had eaten breakfast,

  460. Jesus said to Simon, Peter Simon, son of Jonah, do

  461. you love me more than this? And he said to him, yes, Lord,

  462. you know that I love you. He said to him,

  463. are you that? He said to him, feed my lamb? So, friends,

  464. after this right, what you do after church is you

  465. go You're going to look for life. Lamb, you love Jesus. Right,

  466. You're gonna look for life. Lamb. You buy the lamb,

  467. and you feed the lamb. Okay, okay, I'm just joking.

  468. If you don't get I'm just joking, I'll be very worried.

  469. Let's read on. He said to him again a second time, Simon,

  470. son of Jonnah, do you love me? He said to him, Yes, Lord,

  471. you know that I love you, he said to him,

  472. than my sheep, he said to him the third time,

  473. Simon's son of Jonah, do you love me? Peter was grieved.

  474. How man you frustrated? The husbands are like, can you

  475. please stop asking me? Because I already told you ten

  476. thousand times I love you already, you gotta keep doing it.

  477. They need assurance trust me. I'm married. Lord, you know

  478. all things. You know that I love you, Jesus said

  479. to him, feed my sheep. Loving others first, John four

  480. nineteen twenty one says we love him because he first

  481. loves us. If someone says I love God and hates

  482. his brother, he's a liar. For he who does not

  483. love his brother whom he has seen, how can he

  484. love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment

  485. we have from him that he who loves God must

  486. love his brother also, friends, can I encourage you. If

  487. there's anyone of you here, you're dealing with unforgiveness in

  488. your life. Someone says something wrong, maybe intentional, unintentional someone.

  489. It doesn't have to be another Christian. It can be

  490. a no believer, anybody in your life. Can I encourage you,

  491. please forgive the person. Please, if you need to go

  492. and talk to the person and tell the person what

  493. the person did to get it off of your chest,

  494. please do it. Because there's only one thing in the Bible,

  495. and there's very clear. You know that God talks about forgiveness.

  496. We ask God to forgive our sins, but we hold

  497. on to graduate. God said, if you don't forgive your brother,

  498. I cannot forgive you. That's the only condition. Same here.

  499. It is a mockery to God. That's why the Bible said,

  500. don't want God right. That's why the Pharisees and the

  501. said connel from Jesus a lot. Because remember I say

  502. it starts the heart. So deal with the heart first.

  503. Deal with the heart first. Is it your parents? I

  504. don't know. Please deal with it today and don't let

  505. it continue. Amen. Don't give something. Don't give God something

  506. that doesn't cost you. King David, a man after God's

  507. own heart knew how to give God his past. Let

  508. me give you a bit of a background story on this.

  509. This this value King David, he this obeyed God. He's

  510. sin lah. Basically, God said, don't do this, and then

  511. he did it. And then because of that he you know,

  512. he they suffered and king was king. There was a

  513. king of the land, know, so you know what happened

  514. the people. God send a plate and the people died literally,

  515. you know. And King they felt so bad, say go

  516. you punish my sheep, punish me, right, and then he

  517. what what happened is, God said, okay, I will forgive you,

  518. but you do this, you build an altar, you offer sacrifice,

  519. and then I will cleanse the dead. And King David

  520. at the time was in this guy's place called Corona, right,

  521. and friends, do you know what a king is, right?

  522. You know what king is? Technically he's a king. And

  523. then he can't take anything you want? Right. And when

  524. he was then he thought, Arona, I said, I knew,

  525. build an altar. I need to offer sacrifice, you know.

  526. Aroana said, of course, any of you, huh, take whatever

  527. you need, Okay, take everything you need. Okay, you want

  528. this you want that tic take okay, because you're the

  529. king and you're know not King David said second semone

  530. twenty four twenty four. Then the King said to Rona, no,

  531. but I will surely buy it from you for a price.

  532. No will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord, my God,

  533. with that which costs me nothing? When you give unto

  534. the Lord? Are you giving something that costs you? And

  535. again I want to caution you. So it requires a

  536. bit of maturity to understand this, because I don't want

  537. to after ask we give everything, So I give everything friends,

  538. not me a God, So can you please talk to

  539. him because if you just listen to me and then

  540. do whatever and say, oh, you know, puss Ellen, I

  541. cannot sorry, I cannot take responsibility or over you believing

  542. in Mia because you need to believe in God. So

  543. he will speak to you what is that thing in

  544. your life? And you will know after this I will

  545. have a testimony and then hopefully you will catch something

  546. from there. But we got to give God something that

  547. costs us. Right, Oh, thank you Lord, you know for

  548. Pussus Stevens thing I'm offering to you what John Chong

  549. has a hello. You have to offer to got only

  550. what you have? Long, Oh I'm offering. Let me give

  551. you another example. Okay, for all you single guys and

  552. girls out there, right, this is the advice that I

  553. will normally give people. Okay, and I think for the

  554. we will encourage people. Oh you know, when can I

  555. get a good friend? Well, I will tell the guy,

  556. especially if campus will say no, La, don't la, Why

  557. don't go dating using your fathest money? LA? See this

  558. one you understand? Funny? Right, go dating your fatherest money?

  559. Use your money? LA? Means you have to earn your

  560. money for a sir, con all the death's here? You

  561. mean you want to let your daughter go and date

  562. some guy that he's using his fathest money? You read it?

  563. He worked right? Of course about the value. Right, give

  564. God what you have. I think this is another very

  565. important point that we need to understand. Don't give God

  566. comparing to others. You know, it talks about the lady

  567. with the two mites, right, the lady the two mates

  568. gave all that she had, and of course people around

  569. my see oh you know, yeah, she's so little, you know,

  570. look at all that people will give so much. You know. No,

  571. it's not about about the amount. Now, although that happened,

  572. Jesus said, truly, I say to you that this poor

  573. widow has put more than all. Let me let me

  574. tell you something that I'm very proud of. For XPU,

  575. I can see that your worship team, although you don't

  576. have million dollars sound equipment, you're giving got your best.

  577. And do you know that when you give got your best,

  578. God can use it. You know I've heard this and

  579. I've had conversations before with some young people. Passelvin, you know, uh,

  580. you know, you say we must give go our best, right,

  581. So come, let's let's buy the million dollar sound system.

  582. Let's roll out a red carpet. Let's you know, all

  583. the chance we go. Let's take the million dollar and

  584. put it all in these things and we can have it.

  585. Then we are giving God our best sound. Correct? Are

  586. you telling me even if you have one guitar you

  587. cannot give got your best? Are you telling me that

  588. you need the red couput only you can start giving

  589. got your best? Friends? Can you don't think this way? Oh?

  590. You know in just that MPJA they talked about then

  591. you reminded me that I have not cooked for them

  592. in a long time. And right, I'm doing how cerevitions.

  593. So I say, okay, I promise after it's done, I

  594. will I will cook for your I invite your own

  595. and you can come. You know, this whole value about

  596. giving got our best. So it's so unique to our church,

  597. I feel sometimes because we know how to, you know.

  598. And I remember when I was and he reminded me

  599. of the days where you know, I was a home

  600. leader in bu right not be sorry, Katie right, and

  601. uh at the time, Sharon not around okay, so she

  602. she don't know, right, But what I did was I

  603. started homes and I tell you, if your homes is awesome,

  604. my homes is okay. Because I was the only one

  605. that know the values that we practice and everyone else

  606. is new. They were all learning. And I remember going

  607. to a campus. Know, I said, okay, guys, you know,

  608. let's not tap our food. Let me cook for your okay, right,

  609. And then I went to this person's house and then

  610. I found out how in equipped a campus students' kitchen

  611. is friends, let me tell you how equipma. It took

  612. us one hour to cut tomatoes because the knife was blunt.

  613. That day we started homes at nine thirty no turning back.

  614. Day the next one, I'm like, okay, you know what

  615. I learned. Ready, I learned my lesson, but I still

  616. wanted to say, guys, we need to give our best,

  617. and we want to give you your best. So this

  618. is why I did okay, and until today they all remember.

  619. And again now, I didn't do it to be proud

  620. of all. I did it well. I did it to

  621. prove a point. Okay, because when we are leaders, we

  622. always want to teach. So what I did was I

  623. roast the chicken for them, meaning I packed mine and friends.

  624. I wasn't thinking about logistic I wasn't thinking, to be honest,

  625. I wasn't thinking of all these Oh lord, you se

  626. how I'm like, okay, no oven, I got oven. I

  627. bring my oven. I put in my car, and we'll

  628. bring the oven there and bring the bird there and

  629. then roast it for them. I did it until today

  630. they remember, and you know, the fruit after that. I

  631. don't know why. After I left the home Star, so

  632. many of them can cook suddenly, you know, then all

  633. join the Expresso, you know, and I've never been an Expresso,

  634. but they caught the spirit of giving got your best.

  635. They saw how it was done. I only did it

  636. once and I never do it again. Guys, we got

  637. to give got our best. Amen, got to give got

  638. our best and give God what you have. Oh no, no, no,

  639. I must have these nice merceard, these bends card them. Yeah,

  640. I can start driving people around. Oh no, no no,

  641. I must have a nice million dollar kitchen down here,

  642. can start cooking people. Friends, don't think that way. So

  643. small minded are we when we think that, what do

  644. you have in your hands? Do you know they can give?

  645. Got your best? With that you can? And that's why

  646. we believe in our church. That's how we encourage Oh

  647. past I remember this young doubt who said, you know,

  648. I want to join Extreme, but I'm gonna go for

  649. exchange program in US and then later and I come back.

  650. So now I gotta ask are you going to surf?

  651. Damn saying when are you going to go? It's in

  652. two months time. I'm like, then, what are you doing

  653. in the next two months or nothing? I'm like, do

  654. you want to serve? Yeah? I want to by wait

  655. la damn, Like, wait for what? Just join the whole

  656. team now for two months? Can I? Yeah? I can

  657. just join have a good time meet people this young

  658. did that because of that. Now they plunged into the

  659. church now and then after that came back straight with

  660. joint extreme because people know her day or I used

  661. to her. You'll probably know who this is. You've got

  662. your best friends, you've got your best Let me share

  663. a testimony with you. So ex church in twenty ten, right,

  664. I was married ready and maybe we can put the

  665. picture up. Okay, yeah, yeah that's me my wife. Okay,

  666. we were marriedie or I had that nice car. I

  667. don't know why. I am my dad. This is my

  668. first guy. I love this car. My dad bought this

  669. car for me cost the time, no money yet. Sorry,

  670. I have to use Furthest money by car, although I

  671. say we use Farest money. But it was a can

  672. of my name and I do. It's really good car.

  673. When people bang me, they cry. Not I cry nowadays

  674. different Now now you're buy expensive car, you cry. I

  675. know this is awesome and and yeah I was newly

  676. married married in yeah, actually twenty ten. You know what

  677. happened was for X we wanted to get a building.

  678. For some of you old enough you might not this

  679. wanted to get a building and it was gonna be

  680. an awesome building. We believe that a lot was leaders

  681. there and it was gonna cost thirteen million and always

  682. going to meet there. You know, it's gonna be a

  683. big maga church. You know. Of course, now you know

  684. we don't have a lot, but we're gonna do that

  685. and we're going to raise up ten percent one point

  686. three million dollars, and a lot of us are we

  687. were we were younger dos and we believe know and

  688. we say God, let's do it, Let's do it. Okay,

  689. let's do it. And everybody was giving. I wanted to give,

  690. you know, my wife gave and friends. The Lord called

  691. me full time. Can I say that full time is

  692. if God didn't call you better not do it? Prepare honest, Okay,

  693. please go and do make a place. A lot of

  694. things you have to learn, and a lot of things

  695. have to grow in and and I must say that

  696. I know it's all full time. No money not true

  697. when you say yes to full time. God provides not

  698. the way you understand. But God has provided, and he

  699. has continuously provided me. He's never shot changed me here.

  700. But I'm just sharing this testimony just to tell you

  701. the sacrifice, or more like the and I so I

  702. wanted to give and say, Lord, okay, I want to give.

  703. Give what can I give? What can I give? Because

  704. not much more? Right, I'll give you a bit of

  705. a give. And I remember God telling me give your car.

  706. I'm like, huh, but it's an old car. Sure not,

  707. it's an old car. Lo God married day. Let me

  708. check my wife first. So I went my wife. I say, dear,

  709. I think God wants me to give my car, sell

  710. my car off and give it to the building fund,

  711. you know. And I'm hoping my wife will say, hah,

  712. dear Nola, let's pray about it. You know, we just

  713. got married, just got married, No, just got married. You

  714. know your full time. I'm starting my career, Nola, Nola.

  715. We need two cars, you know, to go to work,

  716. and all don't do, don't do, but lo and behold

  717. you're not. My wife said, you've got us who do doula,

  718. And I'm like, okay, hallelujah. No planner, friends, no planner,

  719. no planner. Believe that got us to do. So I

  720. saw my car. I got three thousand, and I gave

  721. everything to the building fund. Thankfully my wife had a car.

  722. We had this car and then she had the toss

  723. that I detests with all my being. I am meet Okay,

  724. I don't like that car. She knows it as well.

  725. And we dropped the car for a while. Okay, and friends,

  726. you know this time rights, I will probably tell you, Oh,

  727. someone came up to me gave me keys to a

  728. brand new Mercedes. Know that didn't happen. So I had

  729. to drive. We so we we We survived Wanka. And

  730. at that time my wife worked in somewhere near Ikia.

  731. There I stay in Quarta governing. My work is in Subang.

  732. So you know what happened for two years and we're

  733. newly married. Now I will fetch her to work, drive

  734. to Subang and then going back drive to where she

  735. is in Ikia and drive back to go the comning

  736. along with going for all the other meetings and everything

  737. that's happening. For two years, we did it faithfully, right

  738. every day on the road, three hours, three hours on

  739. the road. Harley lay, I think I thought PJ just

  740. and I think I think I was preparing me to

  741. plant PJ at that time. I was doing it happily.

  742. You know, come to Pja, go there, you know. And

  743. I also think that God was preparing me to plant

  744. X Katie, so you know, ex maybe extually one day, okay,

  745. Quota da Masara homes because I also used to at

  746. that time. He said, oh, I'm familiate the road, so

  747. you never know where God will leave you even though

  748. you're going through trouble now right, So I ran, we

  749. did that, sold off the car. And I'm not sure

  750. I shared you with you here before. But many years married,

  751. I've recognized that my wife have the gift of this sunmon,

  752. especially when she dreams about something, it will happen when

  753. if you can remember, so I remember, but this is

  754. the first year marriage, so I remember. She one day

  755. told me, she said, you know, she woke up and

  756. then we were not really I mean we were kind

  757. of looking for a car, but not really you know,

  758. finance and all. And then she is only one day

  759. woke up and said, yeah, I feel I have very

  760. weird dream that I want to show you. Like what

  761. now said, I think we're going to owner uh silver

  762. color Toyota ViOS. I'm like, huh so specific. I'm like sure,

  763. bokay whatever I know. And at the time like, okay,

  764. you know I I I thought about it. Now like okay,

  765. maybe I start looking for a color. And then since

  766. my wife dreamed, then try to try, you know, uh,

  767. look for look for Toyota viosa mzi be silver. No,

  768. not really, I don't really care about the color. I

  769. thought I wanted black, you know, easier clean. And then

  770. I told elder about it, and then he helped look.

  771. And then somehow, uh we went and there was a

  772. there was a potential car. Follow our budget. We went

  773. and see and this is what we saw, a silver

  774. color toyotabos. So this was our next car, exactly this car.

  775. The old lady is my my grandma. I don't know

  776. why she likes to take for those of us and

  777. cars and houses. She purposally said, you'll stand here, and

  778. I don't know, I don't know any of you have

  779. Grandma said do that. But yeah, so God provided this.

  780. It was according to a budget, and I love this car.

  781. We draw it for very long you'll be thinking. Ah.

  782. In Western testimony Wester testimony. Friends, Sorry this is the testimony,

  783. but if any of you here feel compelled to Sunny

  784. give me Mercedes, I will freely accept. Did joking ja

  785. jo king, But God provided provided. Sometimes we do things

  786. are and we expect something to return. But when you

  787. love someone, right, shouldn't you just give freely? And God

  788. has never shot changed me, you know until today. He

  789. has never short changed me. Right, she has never try

  790. to change me. Oh, and can I tell you another thing?

  791. The building? Right, we lost it? How foolish we sell

  792. off your card gift to God and then you lost

  793. the building. Yeah, you know, I will beware honest to

  794. share you this because we are very familiar with church

  795. sometimes when church bugs on this cant project. And again

  796. not to say that every church is foolish or whatever,

  797. and it doesn't happen a high chance of the percentage

  798. the church was split on high chance. But for exa

  799. we grew because we all knew that it was not

  800. pass Kenna's idea. He was God leading us and somehow

  801. God didn't give us the building. If God gave us

  802. the building, I wouldn't be sending here, you know you're not.

  803. I'll be doing I'll probably still be doing XTIV, right John,

  804. John probably be PC or something or host host host.

  805. But do you know God told past and during that

  806. time Pastor went through a tough time. He wanted to resign,

  807. you know, but he was very honest on stage because

  808. that lot Takana, you asked us to do this, and

  809. and I remember, we came to the point where God

  810. gave us the vision, and now the vision is reality

  811. where we are a church planting church. It was not

  812. one building, it's not a monument. He was a movement,

  813. and access a movement. How small minded are we that

  814. we put God in a box. Oh we didn't get

  815. a building. Pasta must be doing something wrong. Let's all leave.

  816. I had no comes again past it. If I tell

  817. anybody that sorry, they'll be like you, borto. But I

  818. have the Holy Spirit. I gave because God asked me

  819. to give, not because Pasta asks me a give. And

  820. yes we lost the building. I lost lost the car,

  821. but they really lose the car. No, I gained so

  822. much more. I gained so much more, not in the

  823. ways that men think, but only in the way that

  824. God leads. Amen. See it's interesting. I mean I have

  825. been in ex so long, lady, and God has continuously

  826. done things again and again and again. And it's not

  827. just for the leadership, No, it's for all your benefit.

  828. Do you know that? Why do we need to give

  829. God our best? Can I challenge you in this to

  830. give God your best? Why it is for your own good?

  831. You know? Do you know that you giving got your

  832. best wouldn't affect us in any way? Well, in a

  833. way it does that. This is why I told the

  834. PJA this morning. I hope you guys catch this. I

  835. want you to give God your best so that you

  836. can experience God for yourself, so that you know how

  837. to hear God and how to obey him. Do you

  838. know that that when that happens, you will have less problems?

  839. And do you know that when you have less problems,

  840. me and pass Steven will have less work. And that's

  841. a good thing because then all of us are hearing God.

  842. You'll see the power in that one. That's why we're encouraging.

  843. I'm encouraging you give got your best experiencing for yourself?

  844. Or is it just about law to us? Ask about again?

  845. After he's gonna you know, put up offering here, you know,

  846. start doing sign up? Both? Are we so small minded? Friends?

  847. It is about the heart. It is between you and God,

  848. not mere. I don't get anything always like I say,

  849. maybe maybe more time my family, No, I really have

  850. a lot of time my family ready giving God your

  851. best and can I challenge you with this? I don't

  852. know whether it's here by challenge the PJ group just

  853. now I told them, have we come to a place

  854. where we have taken God for granted? Do you know

  855. that worship on a Sunday it's not for you? Do

  856. you know that you come to worship to worship God?

  857. We all know that now. But then why sometimes we

  858. can be selective, only come for the word and not

  859. the worship. A challenge PG I said, can we not

  860. take God for granted anymore? You're not coming here on

  861. Sunday morning worship for you? You know? Yes, you will

  862. gain something. Yes, the Lord minister to you. Yes he will,

  863. because in the presence of the Lord, that is freedom

  864. and liberty. So we will experience. But we don't come

  865. here to worship our freedom and liberty. We don't come

  866. here to worship the men on the stage. We don't

  867. come here to worship any of these things. We come

  868. here to worship God. So don't take him for granted.

  869. I think we have sometimes as believers. I speak that

  870. to myself as well. I have to remind myself I

  871. don't want take you for granted. Lord. I don't want

  872. to come to this space where I become like a

  873. bastardor just walk in. Okay, I did I did it,

  874. just not so I apologize I didn't worship that in

  875. after wordship and sit down and then just you know,

  876. share the word. Okay, I did it here, so I

  877. can't say I eat back my words. Friends, brothers and sisters. Here,

  878. people who call yourself partners of the church, why do

  879. we use the word partner Because a partner gets involved

  880. a member come and use the facilities right, Sorry, XP,

  881. you got no facility Monday through Friday. This is a

  882. rented space. We need partners. We want to see people

  883. experience God for themselves. This is why we are sharing.

  884. I'm sharing this. Let's give God our best today. Amen,

  885. Let's give God our best today. That's the only we

  886. can give. The least we can do really next week

  887. is to come early and to worship God. That's the

  888. least we can do. I challenge you. You do that

  889. and see God moved. You start putting God first on

  890. and then you see Him more in your life. I

  891. challenge you. So there you're experiencing.

  892. We hope you've been blessed by this message for more

  893. information on our church, please visit as church org. We

  894. are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

  895. this week is going to be a good week ahead

  896. for you. God bless
