You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
Turned with me to Revelations chapter two, okay, or Revelations.
-
How many of you have never read the Book of
-
Revelations before? Never? Never have you? Honey, one, have you
-
read the Book of Revelations before?
-
Here?
-
Okay, there's a discrepancy. Some people say yeah, some people
-
say no, okay, Book of Revelations. Okay. So we're going
-
to read here from chapter two, verse eight to verse eleven. Okay.
-
I'm mentually going through a series on the persecute on
-
the seven Churches, but I'm going to jump from different
-
ones because I just feel like it's not skidding. But
-
there's some things I wanted to specifically touch on in
-
light of certain things that that's why I started with
-
number church number two. Okay. Now I'm going to read
-
here from verse the title called the Persecuted Church. Okay.
-
Verse eight says, and to the Angel of the Church
-
in Smyrna. Right these things says the first and the
-
last who was there and came to life. Now pause
-
there for a while. Okay. Now, I don't have I
-
didn't have a privilege to introduce to you some of
-
the what they call it uh introductions and learning concepts
-
about some of these letters. Okay. If you for every
-
letters to these seven churches, okay, you can see some patterns, okay.
-
And these patterns are very important for us to observe
-
so that you will be able to understand and interpret
-
the letters very clearly. And one of the things you
-
notice is that, of course, in verse eight, it says
-
to the Angel of the church's murner and the and
-
then you says these things, says the first and the
-
last who was there and came to life. It's like
-
who writes a letter and then says there says the
-
first and the last, and who was there who came
-
to life? Okay, it's very interesting. You know, you just
-
write the name, but Jesus himself doesn't introduce himself just
-
with his name. With every letter, you notice that he
-
introduces himself with a different title to a different church,
-
he will give a different title, and the title will
-
always correlay to the entire message and the hope or
-
the warning of the entire letter. And say what I'm saying.
-
Not so when you see here it says that the
-
first and the last and who was there and came
-
to life. It gives us a preview of what Jesus
-
is trying to warn us about, or the hope that
-
he wants to instill upon you. Okay, if you need
-
a doctor, I will introduce myself as a doctor. I
-
don't introduce myself as Matthew chungg Matthew Chang just a name.
-
But if you need a doctor, you are sick, you
-
just you don't need a Matthew chug. You need a doctor.
-
So I come to you as a doctor. If you
-
are laws and unique guidance, I introduce myself as a guide.
-
You get mean right. If you are someone who needs
-
who is in trouble, who needs a lawyer, I introduce
-
myself as a lawyer. You get I'm saying. Not So
-
for every situation that they are into, Jesus introduces himself
-
as with the corresponding title. Or sometimes if you did
-
something wrong, I'm introducing myself as a policeman. You get
-
me right. So it's very unique here. Okay, so this
-
is something you have to learn. So but this title
-
is not like any earthly title, and there's no earthly
-
job or occupation that gives you the title the first
-
and the last who was there and came to life.
-
There's no such title on the earth. This is the
-
only title only one person has, and the one person
-
who conquered death, and that is Jesus, only one person. Now,
-
many companies you can have see or assistancy, also treasury
-
or president, but there is all only one person who
-
has this title, and there is Jesus Christ. Now, the
-
next question is why did Jesus introduce himself as the
-
first and the last and who was dead and came
-
to life. Of all the titles that Jesus could introduce himself,
-
why did he use that? Okay, this is where our
-
message is going to go to in a while as well.
-
And he says here verse nine, I know your works,
-
your tribulation and poverty, but you are rich. And I
-
know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews
-
and are not but are a synagogue of Satan. Okay,
-
let's pause that for a while. Okay, he says there
-
in verse nine, I know your works. Okay, So first
-
of all, Jesus introduces himself and he tells them by
-
revealing to them what he's aware of. Sometimes you meet
-
Jesus and he's like, Oh, what is Jesus gonna do.
-
I'm just gonna say. Some of you will be scared
-
because why one of the first things you'll be asking
-
in your mind, it's like, what does Jesus know about me?
-
You won't be asking prayer needs you know, Jesus, can
-
you help me? In mind? Stade, you know, when you
-
meet Jesus, the first thing you'll be asking, You'll be
-
scared because what does he know? When you see a policeman,
-
you see a judge, you be scared. You know why,
-
because you'll be asking what does this person know about me?
-
Because if the person knows everything about you, you'll be
-
having very little questions. That person will have a lot
-
of questions for you. Some of you are very scared
-
of you. Yes, it's true, it's true. And Jesus introduces meself,
-
I know your works, what you have done. Okay, some
-
of you have a lot of fear. Hey, but I
-
tell you the fear of the Lord is the beginning
-
of wisdom, and it is right to have this proper fear.
-
To have a proper fear that God sees everything. You
-
can't mean I because that will put your life under discipline.
-
And self control. You get mean right if imagine your
-
life is no self discipline nor self control, how you
-
get mean right? And it's very important. You must know
-
that Jesus knows everything, knows everything in your life. Okay,
-
And he says that. He says, I know your works,
-
your tribulation and poverty, gain what you do, what you're
-
going through, and where you are now okay. And these
-
people are going through poverty, are very very And when
-
I say poverty, they're not just poor driver country or
-
it's not finding all poverty A means they don't even
-
know when their next meal come from, you know. And
-
there's a reason why they are so poor. Okay. And
-
I don't have a lot of time to go through
-
because I don't I have to live in about half
-
an hour. But the Church of Smana has a lot
-
of history. Basically they are under persecution from many groups.
-
So I need three volunteers to come up right now, quickly,
-
three volunteers to come up standing a line in here, okay,
-
treat okay, yep. Now, So in the city of Smyrna,
-
they are among the many groups of people. Okay, uh,
-
there are three dominant ones. Okay, they are what we
-
call the local citizens. Okay, local citizens, Okay. There could
-
be Romans, there could be Greeks and so on, and
-
software as well. Okay, the general population, they will go
-
along with anything in the town. Okay. And there are
-
two main religions in Smyrna and most of Europe as well. Okay,
-
what are the two main religions? Okay. The first main
-
religion is you worship your own gods okay, Greek gods,
-
Roman gods, whatever you want. And there are hundreds of them.
-
They could be worshiping Zeus, some Athena, some Diana, many gods.
-
That's why you go to Rome, you go to Effatus nowadays,
-
like there are many gods, many idols. Now they're even
-
coming into Disney as well, all this as well, African,
-
Egyptian and all. There are all the different gods now
-
coming up. So these people will worship all this, okay.
-
So but then there is another second religion that they
-
actually have to worship as well, key religion, and there
-
is the worship of who of the Emperor? Okay, so weeping,
-
can you come up for a one? So I want
-
you to stand in front of them. It's like your boss,
-
like your boss like that, like you're the boss, you know. Okay.
-
So on top of all their main religion, right, there
-
is one religion they actually introduce, and it's what it's
-
called the Imperial cult worship. What is the Imperial cut worship?
-
You can go online and find it. The Emperial cut
-
worship is basically this guy who is who's title is Caesar, okay,
-
now instituted the law that he is not just Caesar,
-
he is God. He is a god, and so you
-
can worship your gods, but you also have to start
-
recognizing him as God as well instead. What I'm saying,
-
so you have your pagan gods and you have your
-
Caesar as a god as well. So when a lot
-
of times I give you and I give you a hint,
-
I just stayed there for a so a lot of times.
-
Like some cities, the worship of the King of the
-
Caesar is very strictly emphasized. Some cities not so much. So.
-
If you are, for example, if you want to go
-
to a market, okay, and normally they only had one
-
million market in the city. If you want to access
-
go inside the market to buy things, okay, in front
-
of you, there will be soldiers, maybe a battalion soldiers,
-
twelve of them, and there will be two altars okay,
-
one of the altars okay, it's like a like a
-
like a puppet that then let me make sure you okay,
-
like say this is the door, and then there are
-
say for example, there are too out saying. One will
-
be where the coal would be burning hot coals like
-
current hot pot. Okay, okay, there's no what you meet okay,
-
no what you meet here. But on the other part
-
here there will be incense powder, not the stick under
-
its incense powder like those aromatrapy. So before you enter,
-
you need to take a pinch of the incense and
-
then you drop it on the on the chuckle. Then
-
you and there will be a smell, and then you
-
say Caesar is King and God in front of the soldiers.
-
Then you only walk inside to the marketplace. This is
-
to show your allegiance that you are you respect the
-
Roman government and you also acknowledge Caesar is king. This
-
is before you enter the market in mass. Then the
-
market is where you get all your food, you conduct
-
your business, you do your banking, you get your license,
-
everything for your family. Imagine you have to do that
-
as a Christian, it's very difficult. Now come back to here.
-
So we have Caesar and then you have the local people.
-
The local people got no problem with him. You want
-
me to do that, got no problem doing that. Okay.
-
Now there's a second gold people, the Jews. The Jews,
-
they are also everywhere in Europe. They are in Rome,
-
They're in Smyrna, Eversas, Krinth and every places. Okay. But
-
the jew can't do that, okay, because they only believe
-
in one God, not many gods. They can't. They don't
-
practice the pagan worship, they don't practice the Imperial card
-
worship as well. And so they actually come to Caesar
-
and say that we can't do that because it goes
-
against not just our religion, our entire nation. Our entire
-
nation as a people are founded on the belief that
-
God is one only worship. But we cannot do that, okay.
-
So the Jews had an agreement with Caesar and Rome.
-
You know why is that agreement? She said that you
-
are exempted from doing it. But what is the catch?
-
Pay money? How to pay money? What's what they pay money?
-
So in exchange, you will be allowed, the government will
-
be allowed to collect texts from the Jerusalem Temple. Ah.
-
Why the Jerusalem Temple because every year all the Jews
-
must go to Jerusalem for the Day of Atonement to
-
give the sacrifice. Ah. There is why they have all
-
their sacrifice and all the money changes their Jesus was
-
saying that you turn my father's house into a they're
-
not thieves. People from everywhere we were coming around to
-
go and visit them, but the man An agreements so
-
that they can collect texts from them. Because the collect
-
tests from where everybody is going Corona instead of going
-
to people, they come to you smart or not. And
-
there's a lot of money to be collected from there,
-
a lot of things to be collected from there. So
-
but next time I will tell you how the collect
-
text collecism. They don't collect directly. They collected through the
-
priest saw. A lot of the priests were converted to
-
become text collectors, like Matthew as well. So Matthew came
-
from the tribe of Levi. He was a text cart
-
he was a priest, and then because of this Roman
-
system they came in, he became a tax collect and
-
so text collectors were the most hated people now say
-
you hate the Romans, but did you realize that it's
-
your own people who made this agreement? Oh so corrupt?
-
But this were you think all this corruption that happening nowadays?
-
I tell you a long time ago, I more complex systems.
-
They are around as well. Interesting, isn't it? But this
-
is it? But did you said we do this to
-
serve God? But because of that they were exempted. They
-
don't have to do it. They okay, walk into the market.
-
Now then we have another third group of people. We
-
have Christians. Christians. Now Christians, they were very unique. They
-
a lot of them are Jews, but also they are
-
Greeks and Romans. But they are not like the locals.
-
They don't worship the Pagan they cannot worship Caesar because
-
they recognize Jesus as Lord. But they are not entirely
-
Jewish as well, because the Jews hated them. The Jews
-
hated them, you understand what I'm saying, hated them, persecuted them,
-
send one of the top lawyer to go and then
-
the soul to go after them and put them in
-
prison and on. So the Christians were ostracized. You know,
-
they are neither the locals neither the Jewish, so they
-
don't enjoy the same priv all the exemption of the Jews.
-
So you are living in a place where you have
-
no privilege, or you are it's like you are a refugee.
-
You are in a nation without a passport. Your own
-
country disowns you. They're like, you're starting Australia, but you
-
don't have a Malaysian passport. Even the Malaysian embasy don't
-
want to then want you. You know, you cannot draw money,
-
you cannot do anything you can mean right, no body,
-
So because of that, you cannot access into a lot
-
of things at that has caused you a lot of
-
economic hardship. Makes sense? Okay, thank you so much everybody.
-
Is there a good explanation? I think I should be
-
a luxurity and ask so I thought I used people
-
to give you a visual understanding. You understand why it's
-
so different. It's so hard to become a Christian that time,
-
isn't it. That's why they were so poor at that time.
-
There were through so many tribulations. But it says that
-
Jesus says that, but you are rich, and it says
-
that I know the blasphemy those who say they are Jews,
-
but they are not. That's why their own brothers and
-
Jews Jewish people were betraying them. They were actually telling
-
the Romans and all the local authorities are where the
-
Christians are and who the Christians are. So the Christians
-
were scared. They can't trust the Romans, they can't trust
-
the Greeks, they can't trust even their own people from Jerusalem.
-
They were basically hiding. You have to go out, not
-
telling anyone who you are, but you don't know how
-
to get food as well. You don't know who to trust, Okay,
-
and then say that in verse ten, do not fear
-
any of those things which you are about to suffer
-
or but Jesus makes it clear you are about to suffer,
-
but do not fear. Indeed, the devil is about to
-
thraw some of you into prison that you may be tested,
-
and you will have tribulation ten days. This is not
-
the ten days ten days. These ten days that could
-
mean ten Caesars. Ah, not these days ten Jesus, which
-
is quite of true, but I can't remember. But from
-
that time the Caesar you go down, it was actually
-
by that time you have constantly Emperor Constantine. By the
-
time that actually when Christianity wants made ten caesars, okay,
-
and I will give you the crown of life. You see,
-
that is why you go back to the title, what
-
did Jesus talk about? You say, I introduced myself as
-
the one what as the first and the last who
-
was dead and came to life. Because Jesus is trying
-
to you are going to go through these situations and
-
it's gonna get worse, and some of you because of
-
your austracized, being ostracized, you're gonna get thrown into prisons
-
and you're gonna get persecuted. But now I introduce to
-
you not just as Jesus, but as the one who
-
overcomes life, the first and the last. Okay, the first
-
and the last and the one who was dead and
-
came to life. How does that bring comfort to the
-
Christians at that time? Jesus trying to tell them this
-
life is only temporary. Remember all these when they die,
-
they do not have a hope. But you, when you die,
-
you have a hope because you know me and you
-
have seen me alive. You get me a that's the difference.
-
You know me and I'm talking to you who was dead,
-
But now alive said, So that is why Jesus just
-
introduced anyone he introduces to himself as the revelation of
-
truth in that life, so that they can go through
-
this tribulation and give glory to God as well. That's
-
why the title is so important. Okay, now, and then
-
he says, yeah, be faithful until death, and I will
-
give you the crown of life. And in verse eleven,
-
he who has an ear, let him hear what the
-
spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not
-
be heard by the second death. Okay, about the second
-
death means it's not just dying on the flat, but
-
second death means eternal separation. Death always means separation. When
-
you physically die, your spirit separates from your body. When
-
you spiritually die, you separate from God completely. Okay, now today,
-
as I you know, eventually the second half of what
-
I want to cover is talking about the dangers of
-
the world and the persecutions that we will enjoy as
-
believers as we go into uh closer and closer to
-
the return of Christ. As well. I have some slight Yeah,
-
I was just going to skip some part and the
-
next time I'll tell you guys more maybe we can
-
go to the anti Christ agenda anti Christ agenda. Okay,
-
So they many Antichrist is not just one person. It
-
is a spirit. People saying, oh is it this person?
-
Is it this person? Is it this person? There are
-
many anti Christs, but eventually there will be one major
-
revelation as well, the spirit of antichrisis everywhere. And what
-
is Antichrist? Anti Christ means one to God against everything
-
that Christ stands for and believes in as well. Okay,
-
and towards the end, okay, maybe Skytish scripture John fifteen,
-
verse eighteen. Okay, John fifteen, verse eight from fifteen Okay.
-
He says here, if the world hates you, you know
-
that it hated me before it hated you. If you
-
were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet,
-
because you are not of the world, but I chose
-
you out of the world. Therefore the world hates you.
-
May no mistake people. I'm here to preach a truth,
-
not to preach to tickle your ears. Okay. I would
-
love to tell you that Christians in this world, in
-
this present world, are the most blessed and most privileged. No, okay,
-
in the field, in the In moving forward, the world
-
will see us very differently, like how just not. The
-
Christians are being perceived by the Romans, by the local people,
-
by everyone as well. Even your own people will betray you.
-
Moving forward, Christians will be perceived and be hated next night. Okay,
-
people will hate the Christians. They will look at them
-
with suspicion. They will think that you are extremely Christians.
-
People are very exclusive. You only say there's only one
-
way to Jesus, no other way Jesus or the way,
-
the Truth and the life, no other religion, and it
-
makes you very exclusive. How can you say that there's
-
only one way? Okay, there is? There is an example.
-
People say that, Hey, some people feel not If there's
-
an elephant, some people hold onto the trunk, some people
-
hold onto the task, some people hold onto the feet,
-
some people onto the tail. But all of them are
-
holding onto the same elephant. So all the religions lead
-
to the same thing. Does that make sense? If you
-
go to the airport, do you take any plane? Every
-
ahl plane go to the same place. Some of you
-
are so stressed you go to the airport rely just
-
to make sure which plane goes to the same places
-
near correct or not. You go to the detail. This
-
one going away doesn't mean it has two wings. That
-
it flies to the same place you know, doesn't mean
-
it does good. That means it's going to the right place.
-
You know. People, you know that you have to be
-
consistent in applying your same logical thinking. You know again,
-
sometimes what your bias is, you know, think, be consistent,
-
apply the same logic. Does it mean that it's going
-
to the same God. No, people know. What's more important
-
than your feeling and your background is truth. Truth is
-
what is most important. What Jesus says may be very
-
offensive to some people, but you have to ask yourself.
-
Is he telling the truth? Despite whatever how inconvenient it
-
may be, how contrary to what the world may feel.
-
But what is he saying? Either he is a liar,
-
either he is a madman, or he's telling the truth.
-
Make your decision. You get mean right, you choose. I
-
don't want either he is a liar, he's a madman,
-
or he's a truth he's not neutral, or you decide
-
what you want. No, he has never given us the optional.
-
You have to choose. Either he's a liar, you don't
-
follow him. Either he's a mad man you ignore him,
-
or he's telling the truth that he is the only way,
-
and you have to take everything he says to the core. Okay, no,
-
no other way. Okay. People will say Christians are extremely judging.
-
How can you say this is right? How can you
-
say this is wrong? How can you say whoever identifies
-
as this is wrong? How can you say abortion is wrong?
-
Tell you not, I told your Bible. Say that you're
-
not supposed to be judging people. Hey, people, you take
-
these things out of context. You know, yes, we're not
-
supposed to go and judge people. To create, strive to
-
create what they call it an environment or criticism or
-
putting down people. But every day, the moment when you
-
wake up until you sleep, you use your intellegent intelligence
-
not just to think, you know, but to think but
-
to make judgment for yourself. Everybody who opens the door,
-
who comes and knocking on your door, do you let
-
your children open the door? I'm your father's and mother's friend.
-
Can I come into your house? You teach your children
-
to make judgment, So then if the stranger says to
-
your children you cannot simply judge strangers, do you let
-
him in? No? You don't care what the person tells you.
-
I don't care you judge me or not. I won't
-
let you in. You you need to use judgment, to
-
be sharp, to be able to cut, to divide right
-
and wrong, good versus evil, light versus dark. The moment
-
that your knife is down, you are unable to cut
-
divide clearly. There is the moment that everything comes into
-
your life and destroys you. My words are very strong,
-
but it's true. I'm speaking to a lot of young
-
people here. That is the truth. I tell you, young people.
-
Be sharp. You have to be extremely sharp. Don't be down.
-
Don't be down. By extremely sharp, yes and yes no
-
means no. And you are clear, by the truth, able
-
to clearly divide with the word of God. Turn to
-
your neighbor and say, are you sharp? You're you shup? Non?
-
Very very important. Okay, Well you have to be extremely sharp.
-
People will say that, you know, Christians are corrupt. Look
-
at some of the pastors, some of the churches, or
-
because some more then they fail and moral failings. Oh God,
-
you're judging the church and there's some of these pastor
-
some of these people, so you don't trust them, and
-
then because of that you move away. You steal clear
-
people you're not worshiping. You're worshipping pastors and churches. You
-
know you're shipping Christ. You know people will fail you one.
-
Your family members will fail you, your spouse will fail you.
-
Just doesn't mean that your spouse fail you. You completely divorce
-
from them. You know your parents have disappointed you or not,
-
then you live one. You don't take support from them
-
ANYMOREA don't stay in their house to eat the lunch
-
or their food ANYMOONA. But you stay on and you
-
make things work, isn't it? You make things work, you forgive,
-
you love, you learn. Of course they are failings. Of course,
-
that is why God is constantly working this flesh, that
-
body we've had in this world. It's sinful. You know. Pastors,
-
you and now your teacher. Your parents are not exempted.
-
You yourself are not exempted. Doesn't mean you carry a
-
bi What means you are holy and perfect already you
-
know you know what I mean? Right? No, that is
-
why we all need the fear of God in our lives.
-
You said, Now you see, there is why there's a
-
there's a Bible saying do not celebrate when your enemies fall,
-
lest the Lord turns his eyes on you and forgets
-
the former you get. I'm saying, you know, do not
-
celebrate when someone you are like, oh this person, go down? Yeah,
-
down on you put on Facebook. Be careful what you say,
-
because the Lord does not delight in the destruction of
-
the wicked. He will judge, but he does not delight
-
in the destruction of the wicked. You Almost even the
-
most evil person, he does not delight in this, in
-
destroying them. No, he will be righteous, but does he
-
enjoy it. No, Because just as any father, if my
-
son does wrong, do you think I have to judge,
-
I have to spanking, I have to correct him. But
-
do I like it? No? I don't. Did like like, ah, yeah,
-
you know some statistic father, some of you like like
-
a sick fellow. And I was like, no, no, he said,
-
if you have a sibling, I'm correcting my son, scolding him.
-
And then suddenly another son, Yeah, did you do it?
-
Scold him? Yeah? God like that? Why you think I
-
look at my other son. I will be pleased with him.
-
You condemn your own sound like that? Are you cannot
-
do that? If you do that, I'm gonna I'm gonna
-
turn my raft. And then now on you you keep
-
talking about the other Christians. Now I'm looking at you.
-
Now you you are celebrating me, judging him like that.
-
Now I'm turning this the same thing, the same row
-
I'm gonna put on you right now. See how you measure.
-
Be very careful, pray instead of judging if they're wrong,
-
Prayer really, pray, really really pray. Do not allow the
-
devil to manipulate you, to turn you into becoming an
-
instrument for your own destruction. Careful, now, these are all traps,
-
you know. All these following people are are traps are
-
for Christians are to point out, you know, and you
-
see sometimes that online all these peoples are the posting things.
-
It's a trap. It's a trap. You got exposed. You
-
got exposed for trying to expose other people. You got exposed.
-
Be very very careful. Remember the scripture is Okay, Father
-
does not delight in the destruction of the evil. Maybe
-
next time you want to find the scripture, I will
-
show you later that if you've got time to go
-
and find it. Okay, I'm very sure I've read them
-
many times before. Okay, Now I want to bring to
-
because of time, I want to bring to I want
-
to teach because this is I don't have many times
-
with you guys. I want to teach, Like recently, there's
-
an election that's happening. I don't care which party, but
-
I care about the values, not about people. It's about values,
-
and a lot of people nowadays vote for the values.
-
And I want to don't say, well, right and wrong,
-
but I want to turn you guys, to equip you
-
guys to know how to properly tackle these issues, not
-
through the humanistic way, but through the biblical way. Some
-
of you, let's scared past what you're gonna take it on?
-
I want to take an abortion? Oh how you take abortion? Okay,
-
let's tackle this. Okay, well pastally gonna go fire you? No,
-
you see, yeah you go Now, let's do this. No,
-
I want to do it the bbiic a way. I'm
-
not scolding people because trust me, I've learned many wrong
-
things in my life before. Okay, I learned it and
-
I corrected, and I appreciate people who give me, who
-
tell me discuss in a very civilized and a very
-
very logical manner, and I want to present it in
-
the right and biblical way. Now. A lot of times
-
when you hear abortion right. The proponents will say this, okay,
-
the conservatives, we know pro li you know, no, it's
-
bibically wrong. But the people on the other side, they
-
will always say that it's about women's right, giving the
-
choice back to the women. What we are doing when
-
with this legislation is about giving them to decide for themselves.
-
Women must be able to decide on theirself, their body
-
and all these things. And you know why they say
-
like that, because they want you to feel empowered. There's
-
the word thrown around, isn't it empowering people? Empowering? So
-
a vote for this, a vote for this policy, it's
-
about empowering women. So by saying empowering, they put the
-
whole agenda of female on their side. It's about empowering. Man.
-
Who doesn't want to vote for a party that empowers you,
-
true or not, who doesn't want to vote for that
-
it makes you feel empowered? Man, you can they cannot
-
give you money. By they give you rights. They make
-
you feel like your whole identity is about your rights.
-
I decide for myself help this person is for me.
-
You get mean right, empowering, and it's always about it's
-
my body. I get to decide for myself. The state
-
shouldn't decide for myself my body. In my mind, I
-
have the right to control it. Okay, don't tell me
-
when it's right and wrong. Don't tell me when it's
-
life and no life. A lot of people will say that, hey,
-
but this abortion is about people who got raped, people
-
who have pregnancy issues. The statistics from CDC are okay, CDC,
-
but they never released it until recently only here when
-
they were running the campaign. They never released statistics are
-
but ninety five percent okay, of the cases of abortion
-
has nothing to do with health, but with moral issues
-
ninety five percent. Even with pregnancy issues are zero point
-
one percent, zero point one percent, dealing with andcy issues,
-
dealing with rape issues zero point one percent. But they
-
ran with the zero point one percent as the right
-
for one hundred percent. Know your statistics very carefully. Ninety
-
five percent is about what sex outside marriage and people
-
just don't want to deal with the convenience of being
-
a young mother, being a young parent. How many of
-
you are because most of the people who are boughting
-
are campus students, are teens, young adults not ready. They
-
are there because you a lot then go into university
-
with a debt. You know, took alane. You're already trying
-
to climb from a negative and now you have a children.
-
How are you going to climb out of that because
-
of a poor decision? You go mean right? Because of that,
-
what they fear is not a child. They fear they
-
have no future. That is why they choose that. That
-
was the biggest problem, you get me right? So the
-
problem was not because of abortion. The problem was a
-
lack of discipleship, lack of education, lack of discipline, a
-
societal collapse in no, but they turned the problem into
-
a societal problem, into a problem of women's rights. Now,
-
if I can say all this, I can argue, but
-
what is the bibical manner? What's the bibical view of it?
-
Let me ask you this. What is the opposite of
-
abortion in the Bible? Oh, this is a queas. What
-
is the opposite of abortion? You're ready for this? The
-
opposite of abortion is communion? Communion? You know what's communion?
-
Every Sunday you come, you take communion, the bread, and
-
the and the drinker you tak That is the opposite
-
of abortion? Why? And I'm going to show you to
-
this chart there then you start to see things, not
-
from what I argue, because I can argue you for fanbagger,
-
But the the most important thing we see it should
-
be from the Bible, from the lands of Christ. Where's
-
the slight? Yes, okay, well wait wait up. So abortion says, okay,
-
the view of the body, it's my body. I decide
-
for myself. Yes, you have that right, No, no problem
-
with that, we understand it. It's my body. I decide
-
for myself. On the left, abortion, but Communion says what
-
Christ says, this is my body given for you. Totally opposite.
-
The Jesus is not about my right. Jesus about I
-
give up my rights? Where is life found for us
-
as Christians? When somebody gave up his right the higher
-
law ownership of the body. About my body is mine,
-
I have the right to control it. In communion, Christ
-
gave his body selflessly for others, not just even to
-
an unborn baby, even to sinners. Knowing what you have done,
-
Christ still gave his body. Nowadays, women don't even want
-
to give up their body for an innocent childnner, not
-
just talking about innocent shower. We're talking to you and
-
nice sinners who knows what you did, and I, who
-
knows what you have lied, who knows what you will become,
-
rebels you. Even rejected him, he still want to offer
-
it up for you. This is the higher law youse
-
of the body. Abortion said, I want to avoid the
-
burden and inconvenience of my future by terminating the unborn communion,
-
says Christ. Instead of avoiding, Christ bore took on the
-
burden of sin and suffering of humanity. One avoids one career.
-
It just these steps up. I take on others. You
-
avoid your own, but Christ will take on your oars
-
life and sacrifice. Abortion is about your future, is about
-
prioritizing your personal autonomy over the life of the unborn.
-
Communion is Christ sacrificing his life for others, even before
-
they believed. Like I said, when you cover one side,
-
when you don't, you remove the right set of communion.
-
When you just look at abortion from the world perspective,
-
it looks empowering one no, no, it looks right one another.
-
It looks to make stand for you one ano. But
-
when you open the other eye, not by the world,
-
not through your intelligence, but through Christ, what cost has
-
done for your own life, then you start to see, Wow,
-
it's not good, it's actually evil. So this is what
-
we meant and that the world has become wise and
-
right in their own eyes. So God comes and opens
-
our eyes and just open eye. He does it for himself.
-
I tell you what is supposed what God? You want
-
to know the will of God. This is the will
-
of God. This is the true will of God, what
-
God always intended and wanted. You don't look at what
-
the world says, look at the cross. You want to
-
argue that you want it? So next time. A lot
-
of times when you go into argument about abortion all
-
this thing, it's not about going on the poppy there
-
and they're arguing, yes, you can argue, but people will
-
still say no one because you're you're fighting against their rights.
-
The true solution for abortion and all this moral problem
-
is who Jesus. Jesus is always the key. Jesus has
-
always been the key. Jesus is the standard, the standard
-
and the standard and uh and and and the person
-
that we look up to the measure for everything we
-
choose in life and how we view in life. You know,
-
make no mistake about it. You understand why I'm saying
-
or not until you see things clearly. It's like you
-
don't say, oh, the World war, they don't know. They
-
are blind as all, they couldn't see Christ. And I
-
tell you, they honestly believe they are right. They honestly
-
believe they are right. They think they are writing and right,
-
and I genuinely believe they are sincere. That's why I
-
don't hate them. I don't like Oh no, I just
-
look at them. They are blind because they can't see Christ.
-
When they see Christ in his sacrifice and his love.
-
Oh oh, oh, what Christ has done for me? Love pure?
-
How can I stand for that? You get? I mean right?
-
You cannot. You cannot mix with the world. You cannot
-
tell me you're a Christian and stand for this because
-
it's totally opposite of what Christ stands for. You know.
-
That is why the world will be can't turning into
-
an anti Christ h gender, That's why the anti Christ
-
agenda will sound so appealing it was sound, and how
-
worry it will deceive even some of the elect people
-
as well. And I see what I'm saying now, So
-
focus your eyes on Jesus m Then the rest of
-
the world will become clear to you, makes sense or not.
-
And then any of you have seen this, this, this
-
issue before like this, This is one example. I got
-
another example. I go on time, but I'll take this one.
-
You see now it not. Sometimes when you don't see
-
you see. If you want intellect, you argue with with
-
your friend. You go online church jipt will tell you
-
tell church. Jipita doesn't see Jesus. Okay, check Gipity. Only
-
see whatever information and be so smart. But without Christ
-
you are full. You're fool. You can mean right, no
-
substitute for spirituality, for intelligencer, no substitute and saying what
-
I'm saying. Not how many of you want to one
-
one Jesus to continue? Open in your eyes? You say,
-
we see people. We as Christian, we labored so hard.
-
You come so far to hold on to Christ. But
-
yet you don't want to stumble halfway because you saw
-
things wrong me. And make no mistake, the world and
-
the devil will work over time to deceive you, and
-
I you get me. I will work over time to
-
deceive you, and I pray and open your eyes. Keep
-
watch in the darkness of night, because the enemy comes
-
to steal, kill and destroy it. And say what I'm saying.
-
And but hold on to the truth, looking and saying, God,
-
I'm not just telling me why it is right. I
-
need the spirit of discernment. Meet you as a young
-
person right now. I tell you you are so exposed.
-
You know why, because you spend the most time on
-
your mobile phone. You get me right, and these things
-
will stand straight in the thing you do more devotion
-
and quiet time with your phone and the world, and
-
more than Jesus. You know, there's your devotion time with
-
the world. Every day you spend four five hours devotion
-
with the world. TikTok, tictot, stays stash. That's just whatever
-
they do, whatever they say, whatever, celebrity and those whatever
-
seems to wear more power to you girl. You know
-
whatever the more power to you got your goal and
-
like it as well. There is your devotion with the world,
-
your quiet time with the world with Jesus. Or thirty
-
seconds you said, think a little of down. That's why
-
why do you think the world is our religion, isn't it?
-
How many of you want to wake up? How many
-
of you want to stay on this path of truth,
-
of being able to really cut across so that we
-
no longer are dec We see clearly and we continue
-
to walk in love, in truth, and in righteousness. Amen.
