We hope this message will light up your tea.

There's a there's a thing in the Filipino culture where

they talk about the Burmans the ber months. So it's September, October, November,

so I include remember all right? So today I want

to bring a message of remember all right?

Do you remember all right? And but not so much

of that?

Remember?

Why do I want to share this word?

Remember to us as we closed the year, and I

pray that we will close the year strong a man

that God is who is with us. We want to

we started the year well, we want to end as

well as we can despite all that's happening. And so

I just this word has come to me quite some

time prepared this.

I've spoken it.

In different places over different times, and then I just

keep updating it. So remember, So what about God? Does

he remember? How does God remember anybody? How does God

remember anybody? Has a clue? Do you think he forgets?

But what does he do to remember anybody? He looks

at her?

Okay, So.

Remember the story or the accounts of the flood. When

the flood came in Genesis recorded in Genesis and it

spoke about the flood and because man was so evil,

he the Lord had to cause a flood forty days,

forty nights.

Only Noah and.

His family altogether, but eight people were saved, and all

the animals in the arc. I really can't imagine staying

with all the animals. I don't know which floor, first floor,

second floor, flow all right, and then the rain subsided, flood, subsided,

rain stopped flood, and it all subsided. And then the Lord,

you know, kind of remembered and said, I'll never again

flood the world to destroy man kind. So what did

he do to remember? A rainbow? Remember the rainbow belongs

to Jesus. Yeah, it was God's idea. So the rainbow

belongs to us, belongs to God. And God said in

Genesis chapter nine, verse twelve sixteen, I've put the worse

for you because I reprepent this sometimes. So he says, yeah,

this is the sign of the covenant which I make

between me. See, God is making the covenant between himself

and us. He's keeping the covenant on behalf of us

as well, and every living creature that is with you

for perpetual generation.

I set my.

In the cloud and it shall be for the sign

of the covenant between me and the earth, and I

will remember my covenant which is between me and you.

And verse sixteen, the rainbow shall be in the cloud,

and I will look on it too, the everlasting covenant

between God and every living creature of all flesh.

That is on the earth.

Amen. So the rainbow reminds God that he'll never ever

cause a flood to destroy humankind, all right, no matter

what happens. So what I saw here is that even

the Lord use a rainbow to just remember, not that.

He forgets us.

He's not forgetful, but I think it also helps us

to remember that there is a God who remembers us.

That it's a beautiful rainbow.

Seven colors on the rainbow, and we all a little

rainbow lout like Children's Church have drawn nice rainbow. You know.

We love having a rainbow. Every time we see a rainbow,

we feel like it's a promise. A lot of people

look at a rainbow. You know. I was going through

something hard that I saw a rainbow, and it brings

some kind of hope, because it's not every day that

you see a rainbow, ma, And so it's always after

the rain and when the sun shines through those water droplets,

that it breaks into the seven colors. All right, So

God used the rainbow, and I think for us it's

a good reminder. So this morning, I want to bring

this thought to you as we close the year and

enter into a new year. Good to take some time

to remember, all right? Now, God used different signs and elements. Next,

God used different signs and elements to help the children

of Israel to remember, so right across the Bible in

the Old Testament, that God would bring about different things,

different elements to help the children.

Is your remember now? Why did he do that?

All right? Because people are forgetful.

Come on, we forget. I can't even remember what I

ate last night?

Right?

Or if someone say, what do you eat?

Trying to think? Right? What did you do last Christmas?

Last Christmas? I gave you my heart very next day, niesy,

You know, we kind of remember we gave it. So

we tend to forget and and more so, we tend

to forget what God has done for us. We tend

to forget what others have done for us, and then

we complain and have nothing good to say.

But when you remember, Ah, you then will think eight yah, right,

and it's a good time to remember.

In September, party on.

Ah okay, Oh the secular songs. Don't worry, good songs,

good songs, all right, no rock Afa, He's ind.

Okay. So we want to remember.

So the first thing that God did to help the

children of Israel, remember because we want to learn from

them and not follow them because they'll be like, oh,

I see, this is what they did. So the first

one element that God created or cause for them to

practice was back in the book of Exodus when the

children of Israel were going to be delivered out of

Egypt into the Promised Land. So on the night of

the deliverance, right the night they were going to march out.

Remember they were living in Egypt for four hundred and

thirty years as slaves to the Egyptians that in four

hundred and thirty years they got I'm so used to

being slaves that they didn't even want to leave Egypt.

They were like, it's okay, like, just.

Leave us alone, life, don't disturb us, Moss, who are

you right?

And they said leave us here.

But God wanted to deliver them because they also were

crying out after what God, please help us. So God

creates it and brought a deliverer, and so here we are.

We won't go through the whole story.

But at that last day that they were in Egypt,

the Lord, you know, instituted what we now call the passover.

So what does it mean? The passover?

Because there was going to be a spirit of death

going across Egypt, and the blood of the land that

was over the house of the every home of the

children of Israel would then cause the spirit of death

to pass over them.

They would be missed.

But also as they were going to travel out in

the in the desert late in the night, they had

to make bread. But we always make bread with yeas.

So the Lord said, no making bread with ease. You're

gonna eat flat bread. Yeah, now we all eat the

Kish flat bread, right, No, yeas? Why because when you

put years into your bread, it needs time to rise.

He says, it's no time for the bread to rise.

You're gonna back up and go baby, all right, run.

So that's where Moses said, this is a very special day,

and up to today there was that was a long

time ago, right like before christime BC, right back back

then and then until today.

The children of Israel.

The people of Israel celebrate the Passover and remember. So

for them it's a big thing that how the people

of Israel left Egypt and they were marching into the

Promised Land. So this passover is what God instituted in

their time, and he told Moses to do this. So

Exodus thirteen, verse three, right, he says, Moses said to

the people, remember this day in which you went out

of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. For by

the strength of the hand of the Lord brought you

out of this place. No eleven bread shall be eaten,

No bread with yeas shall be eaten, because you're going

to leave Egypt in a hurry. So they had to

live in a hurry because you know how many people

I've told you this before, how many people left Egypt? Anybody?

Ten thousand, two million? How many were men? Six hundred

thousand were men. I always say, whenever there are men,

they're going to be whenever they are women, they're going

to be children. Whenever there are children, women and men,

they are going to be other people who want to

just say what with you? All right, They're going to

hang out with the cool people. So around two million

people marched out of the land of Egypt in the

wake of night.

Wasn't in a daytime? No time to make sati SATEI

no time?

Okay, they cannot. They have to run with their flat bread,

eat very fast and jubbled, all right, and they left Egypt.

And then the Lord said, there's no time for yeast bread,

leaven bread. But every time you have this leaven bread,

you remember how God delivered you. And he said, remember

this day how you went out of Egypt. And they

walked out of Egypt March two million. Takes a long time. Yeah,

to bring no handphone, by the way, no handphone. I

don't think there was a loudhailer. I don't know how

he geted two million. They must have had huddles, They

must have had homes in small groups to just get everybody,

you know, telling their grooves.

Come on, everyone.

Two million people walked up and to teach two million

people who are going to be the very ancestors of

this land in Israel will get less than two don't

know how many people went in at the end to remember.

So up to today they celebrate what we call the passover. Right,

we can talk about that now they're just interesting to

know about the passover.

So only so every time you eat Turkish flat.

Bread, you remember the children of Israel marching out. Every

time you he wrote, tchina rochana is let bread right,

there's no yase right anybody, no.

Yea is right, chaparty no yeas right?

Then you remember that the chapartie. Oh oh, the you know,

Israel marching out without no time for yeas bread. Right.

So again the Lord wanted to remind them that he

brought them out of the place of slavery. How to remember,

they instituted the passover. There a lamb was unblemish, lamb

was sacrifice. The blood was placed on the door. Pos

they cooked the stude the lamb. They had the flat bread,

They had other bitter herbs. They had baked eggs, and

they would eat that and then they would go and

they would constantly continually celebrate the pass Over. A remembrance,

all right. So God used little elements like this to

help the children. Is to remember. Now, if you've read

the Bible right through, you also know they were very naughty.

They always forgot a few a few hours later. They

were complaining already after they got out.

And then a few weeks later.

Again complain, Ah, yeah, we all are very forgetful. So

God is very patient. He constantly Hood's remind us. So

a second thing that He did over time, as they

moved across and as they went on, you know, their journey.

The second thing that God did for them, so there

was flatbread and eleven bread to remember how God delivered

them another. I mean there are many things. I only

picked up a few here today, right. Another thing that

he did was this other thing here. Now I put

the scripture up for the next slide. Okay, two million

people walked out, all right. So second one, God wanted

to remind them about his word. So it says, yeah,

speak to the children in numbers fifteen thirty eight forty one.

You can turn your bibles. You can look at my slide,

or you can mark it down in your notebook. Speak

to the children of Israel. Tell them to make tessels

on the corners of their garments throughout their generation, and

put a blue cord or a blue thread.

In the tessels.

You can see a picture there, and you shall have

the tessel that they when they look at it, they

will anybody in the house, and they will all the

commandments of the Lord, and do them.

And that and that you may not follow the hollow.

Tree to which your own heart and your own eyes

are inclined. That you remember and do all my commandments,

and be holy for your God. I am the Lord,

your God, who brought you out of the land of

Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord, your God.

Now what were they going to remember? Do you know?

There was six hundred and thirteen commandments? Now this is

the Lord. No, purposely, God ont to do that. They

were coming out the land of Egypt. They had a

whole different culture, and they were now going to start

a new home in a new land, and so they

were God had to put different things to help. You know,

at the end of the day, it's not laws that

God wants us alone like paper.

Law at you go to jail.

No, he wants to write those words in our hearts. Actually,

God wants the word of God, his word of love

in a fleshhots. That's his desire. But back then he

had to lead them first. There was no Jesus yet

at that time his son was with him still right,

and he had to lead them. So what they could understand.

There are some things. You and I understand. That's how

God speaks to us. So he spoke to them in

this manner that he gave them all these commandments to

keep because he's a holy God. He didn't want them

to follow other gods. To save them from the you know,

their silly ways, all right, and so he gave them

these tessels. The tessels like that picture, and they would

have a blue cord in between. So every time they

looked at the blue cord, Oh, remember, there's God's commandment

for me, a blue cord. I don't know how will

this help you? So you're to think of how it

helps you in future. We'll come to that, right, So

every time they saw the blue cord, they will remember

God's commandments six D and third how to remember sure,

that's why you know they were broken some and then

there had to be the sacrifice. Ask God for forgiveness,

and then God does forgive us. That's a good God

is He always forgives us. But to remember so again

a different element that God used to remind the children

of Israel. Hey, I'm the Lord your God. This is

my word for you. I forgot sorry, Lord, Amen, ask

for forgiveness. God forgive again. So I'm just I'm just

amazed at how God actually speaks to us to remind us. See,

he gives us chance. Okay, He's a good God, good father.

Next one Deuteronomy, chapter eight and verse eighteen to nineteen. Ah,

this one to all our to everyone, but especially to entrepreneurs.

And here the Lord says, and you.

Shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he

who gives you power to get well, that he may

establish his covenant which he swore to your father's, as

it is today, that it shall be if by any

means you forget the Lord your God and follow other

gods and serve them and worship them. I testify against

you this day that you shall surely perish. So the

Lord say, and you shall remember the Lord your God,

for it is he who gives you power to get wealth. Amen.

Anybody say Amen, Hey, God gives you power. He gives

you the ability to be a good businessman, to be

able to make money. Money is not a bad thing,

because God wants you to do well. But he says,

every time you make the big money and you do well,

remember who has given you this wisdom to make money,

to do well. As you know Israel is a startup nation.

Nineteen forty eight. They started in this little land that

now everybody's fighting for not going to go there. But

it is a startup nation, and people as a nation

to start up, they just had to start a lot

of businesses. And you find out a country that has

a lot of entrepreneurs a lot of businesses.

That's how they progress, not just.

Working for somebody, but starting their own businesses. And so

maybe that is the promise that probably God gives you.

I will give you power to make wealth. So it's

not wrong. Money in itself is not wrong, but the

love of money will be very bad for you, because

when you love money, you don't eve forgot about Jesus.

All right, Oh, you love money so much, you say

I have no need to count church on Sunday, I

go play golf with my boss, or that I can

make connections to the next business deal. But how many

of you know that you've put God first.

You don't have to.

Always make those connections or make it later.

Put God first.

He gives you power and the wisdom to make wealth.

I've seen so many businessmen, Christian businessmen, believers. Then they're

the good ones, and then I'm the funny ones.

But the ones who know.

How to honor God are blessed, and they keep being blessed,

and they keep giving it away, not just for themselves,

but they're always blessed of those who need us, you know,

be able to give their funds for the work of

the Lord or for any need that they got got

touched the heart. But God says, remember he does give

you ability. Remember when he blesses you and your your

brilliant student, and you remember, oh, it is the Lord

who helped me. You're a brilliant businessman. It is the

Lord who helped me. The Lord just says, remember, don't

forget and don't go away thinking it's all me. And

that remembrance brings us to the fact that I need

you more Lord, more than ever, to keep doing well. Amen.

All right?

Another, remember that I also picked up here which would

be my last visual for you, is this word?

Now do you remember?

There was a Moses who let the tudor Israel out

and they had to cross the Red Sea. Now Moses

is dead, and he.

Had a new leader.

His name was Joshua, and Joshua was going to lead

the whole bunch of them, the leftover whoever went march

to the desert forty years because of their complaints in

disobedience that he had to lead a new generation out.

But they had to cross the Jordan River. For the

life of me, I really don't think it's dead big

the river, I mean like white, and it's a really

dirty river. Okay. When they asked you want to be

water baptized, no, thank you, thank you.

I think my sunger lumbing here is cleanerla.

Dead water is so dirty, you know, all the people

throw everything inside there, and all the believers want to

have second time.

Water baptists on you.

Yeah, and other people say can we collect the water?

I say, why you want to collect water? It's the

Jordan River. It's not dead only you know Jesus is holy.

It's dooty, right, But maybe then it wasn't that dirty.

But they had to cross the river.

All two million and more, who knows how many they

have given birth over forty years love in the desert,

And so Joshua had to lead the children Israa out

of this land, all right, And this time they were

going to cross the Jordan River into the promised land. Okay.

So in.

Joshua fourteen four verse four to seven is this is

where we read this. It says Joshua called the twelve

men whom he had appointed from the children Israel, one

man from every tribe, and he said to them, cross

over before the ark of the Lord, your God, into

the midst of the Jordan, in the middle of the Jordan,

and each of you will take up a rock on

his shoulder, according to the number of tribes the children

of Israel, that this.

May be a sign among you.

When your children ask in time to come, what do

these stones mean, then you shall answer them that the

waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark

of the cover of the Lord, when it crossed over

the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off.

And these stones shall be.

For a memorial or a remembrance to the children of

Israel forever. So again another element of these rocks or

these stones God put there and ask them to carry

from the middle of Jordan over to the promised Land

and build a memorial. Then every time they say why

are you having this stone formation here, then they'll say, oh,

I want to tell you how God delivered us from

how God brought us through the Jordan River out of Egypt,

through the Red Sea and now through the Jordan River

into the Promised Land. A memory. And I think it's

it's helpful, it's helpful. I think we all can forget

a lot of things. We can't remember some of the

good things we have done for us. We can't remember

what God has done for us because we got very short,

very short love way short memory. So God put those

stones there for the children. Is a remember all right,

pralee lujah. So it would therefore He created these elements

to say, my children remember. I think God will constantly

speak to us about remember and and and so now

you know, in in our how do you call them

training sessions? When we when we do coaching and training,

there's one element that we always say to the people

that we are training and coaching, we talk about reflection.

And these are all.

Professionals, c suites whoever, that when we do training, we

talk about reflection, so that when people reflect, they then

recall the areas of their strengths or they're not so

strong stuff and how we can develop.

But when we don't reflect, then everybody is wrong. And

I'm right, But when.

You reflect for a moment, you remember, Okay, okay, kind

of dig out from the recesses of my memory. Probah

black black.

You know, if not, we're always right and you are

always wrong.

So when we do training, there's this work called reflection,

and part of a lot of training sessions we do,

coaching is about learning to take a portion of our

lives to reflect time, end of each day, end of

each month, to reflect, whether it's be our management, our work,

or even our own walk with the lot. So I

came through some points for about five points about how

we could do this before we even enter the new year,

and we can do this any other time as well,

because it's good to remember some things that God has

done in our lives, and maybe we clear some garbage

from our lives also. Amen. So if God can choose

things to help people remember, how much more Today when

we are living in the fast lane with life goes

really fast.

The world is changing so quickly.

Everything is so ambiguous, you know, things are so changing

all the time. But the one thing that remains is

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. You know,

He will remain the same. So our lives will have

a lot of changes. But how can we then establish

some things to help us move forward. When things get

unstable or it's a bit you know, we're in a

storm sometimes, but we can find some stability. So point

number one for us is remember Remembering is to take

time to reflect and be reminded of the good God,

the good that God has done, or what others have

done for us. Because we forget, we forget. We take

time to reflect and be reminded of the good God

has done for us all others God has brought others

to do for us.

Amen, because we.

Will, which will bring us to the next point later.

Because as we we think about if we have so

many things to complain about, it's not good, that not good,

like I mean, sometimes you gotta like it's like part

of us, I must must say something not good for

us them we says something good. So so we try

to have a positive and bright spirit in us that

remember for us the good that God has done for us.

Sometimes we say, you person, really use useless blown But

but if you just remember for a while, maybe not

that useless, because that persons blessed us before, and people,

we are all humans. We make little mistakes, we forget,

so we have to be quick to let gola but

try to remember your mom, your dad, your aunt, young girl.

I don't know the things that are more close to

your heart. Try to remember the good that God has

done and the good that others have done for us.

So dead it will lead us to the next point

in a bit.

So I want to ask.

You as you think about if you're unhappy about something,

if you're dissatisfied about where you're at right now, I

think it's important to find what is that one good

thing that God may have done in your midst brought

to you, or the person that God has brought into

your life that brought a positive impact, instead of looking

at everything that's negative, What is that one good thing

that God has done in your life? And when you

reflect you you will be able to do the next thing.

And y'all lead us to do the good thing when

we are in need. Who was that person who came

when we were going to grumble and complain and curse

this person, and but that was that one person there,

you know, many years ago when we planted the church

in London twelve years ago and past and I had

to spend five weeks at a time traveling between the UK, Malaysia,

Australia back the thing Botswana. In that year we planted

six churches. I just counted about six churches. I don't

know how we did it. Probably younger at the time,

twelve years younger. Yes, I can jump on a plane,

get down, roll on, jump on and explain. Five weeks later,

get over to South South Hemisphere, get back tomulation, run

down to Singapore, come back because Singapore needed attention.

Are you we're actually doing it?

It sud be slow ready, But but twelve years of

doing that, I mean not triveing, five years of doing

things like that. But one of the years that we

went in the earliest I don't know, twenty thirteen or

forteen men we went in. We didn't have a hub yet,

had to stay in a hotel. It's hot, it's cold

and Bingean. It's January, it's winter, and we flew in

in December. Christmas day, no taxi, no food to eat

or yo. Everybody is shut so we are like.

So sad. But the next day, twenty six is what

day you call it boxing day, and everybody goes shopping.

You don't have to walk, you do the moon walk

because everybody just pushes you. You know, we were a company,

our students and go shopping with them, so tired when

never mind, we go chopping with them. And then one

year Pastor just fell ill for a whole week, and

I was stuck in the hotel. Cannot I don't know

take the train. I do not do the underground. Don't

ask me to do all this thing. I'll get lost,

I you see, and I don't take care of the husband.

They had got no medicine. You know. I have a

pananola ou froncy. And it was so terrible. The sun

wouldn't come out until it am. Then I have to

walk because I don't know do any of the transports.

I'll just walk and I go through my favorite restaurant.

What season four?

Season four season by vegetable Rice. Walk back?

You know where we happened. We staying in the hotel

that we run church in. So they give us a

very good y because we knew the nice man gave

us a good deal. So we stayed there and walk

every day. Weren't take any and I'll come back, but

it was hard to get fast, get well. I just

pray and then is the young sister Christina was still

studying there.

She was so kind.

She cooked up a porridge brought. I don't know what

she boiled ao. She brought all these things and said,

I'm like literally right, she's gonna come to the hotel

and feed fast. Brought porridge you know, like chok you know.

And we said, you know, she's not I'm coming, you know,

And she came all the way. So I always remember

that cold winter wasn't so cold with a hot porridge.

And I don't know what else she made for us.

She's very good, cool and you know, just company because

we were just started to there. I fore older people.

The students were very new and mostly were Indonesians. We

were ministering among Indonesians and they were new to us

and we only meet them on Sunday because we still knew.

But this Christine at that time, we recommended her to

go to a church that were friends. We were friends

with and then only we planted eggs.

So she came with all the.

Chalk and everything. And so I'll come.

I say no, no, he's okay, don't worry a bit, father,

come ban Ema and she came.

And so I always remember that they always good people

around who wants to help you amen. And she was

our cook for our first camp in the UK twenty

four people. I say, Christine, I cannot cook chicken rice?

Can you cook chicken rice? Can't bust? So she made

our first Hei Nani's chicken rice for our first camp

for twenty people, all the students. She was my cook.

Always thankful that there is always good amids of all

that you may go through sometimes these small things. But

how do you plan a church with no one there

to help you? But there always would be somebody to

help you. And so I want to ask you, is

there's something you can think of the smallest of the

things or the biggest of the thing that someone came

for you when God sends someone to you, or when

the Lord's supernaturally opened away for you.

Remember reflect this year, what was that thing that happened?

Sometimes you may.

Remember couldn't remember anything this year?

Remember l last year?

What was it?

Because when you remember the good, no matter how painful,

how bad that circumstances, it brings you to the next thing,

which is remembering brings about thankfulness, and it helps us

to be grateful for the kindness of God or others

who have shown us kindness. Amen kindness. Very hard to

find people who will be kind to you. And when

they are kind to you, you are very grateful. So

there will be a sense of thankfulness.

Amen. So how many of you know what is the

will of God?

You want to know? Don't shoot me, men, I tell you.

The will of God.

The will of God is in first Thessalonians five to

eight says in all this gift thanks, bad things happening,

the storm is blowing, winter is here, business not going right,

haven't found a husband? Still single? And thirty eight what

do you do? The will of God is to say,

thank you Lord, praise you Jesus, thank you. I'm still alive.

That's still tomorrow. Because he lives, I can face tomorrow. Amen.

Remember remember that God is still seated on the throne.

He is with us.

Amen, Loujah, don't.

You know be shaken? So thankfulness that's what comes about thankfulness.

More we are thankful. That's what God loves. God loves

a gratitude heart, a heart that's grateful heart, that's thankful.

Then he will allow his blessings to flow. That's how

God works Ungratefulness it's not a virtue at all. Gratefulness

and thankfulness is a virtue. Then you begin to say

thank you. Didn't get that scholarship, Thank you lot, you

have a better plan for me. Didn't get that university

I wanted, Thank you lot, you have a better plan

for me. Didn't get that business deal. Thank you lot,

you have a better deal for me. Amen.

We just have to didn't get that woman, but God

has a better woman for you.

Amen. All right, So you know you just have to

always say give thanks to Jesus, and.

Out of thankfulness.

God does something in our midst maybe not the way

we want it, but he always does. It's good for

your health. So you you unclock yourself as well as a.

Thankfulness began to flow. Praise Jesus, or you know.

All the things that you couldn't say, thank you, you say,

thank you Lord, thank you First five eighteen.

The will of God is to give thanks in all things.

Yeah, in all things. My mom she said, I don't

know what she was unhappy about. And I said, Mom,

you have to give thanks. What do you mean I

have to give thanks? This person was evil to me.

There are a lot of people will be evil to

your ma, but God is always good. Just give thanks.

Agree with me. I'm like, it's okay to give thanks

to the Lord. Just okay, this is this is sickness

we have.

Thank you Lord that you're in control, I mean the sickness. Now,

thank you Lot, you're in control. Open away from me,

which doctor, girl or God or heal me supernaturally, whatever

it is, gift thanks to the Lord. Amen. So thankfulness

time running out all right now as we give thanks

to the Lord. It brings us to the next thing.

When you learn to give thanks to the lot. Also

finding out for this, friends, you got to take home

the keys of this. This is another key of the

king I didn't do the case of kingdom with you, right,

I did you another church, but you know I do

at camp right, remember the keys of the kingdom. And

part of it is this giving praise, giving thanks. Right,

So when we give thanks, this is the next thing

that links up to remembering helps us to not allow roots.

Of unhappiness and bitterness to remain.

Every time you give thanks and then good things you remember,

then all the unhappiness and all the bitterness you will

let go because you are thanking God.

And at the more you thank God, there's a change

of heart.

There's a change of mind, and all the and the

bitterness about yesterday bitterness about what didn't come through. You

know it will it begins to unclock. You need to

I experienced what Jesus experienced.

Yay. I'm one with Jesus, all right, I can. I'm

on the same platform with him. So don't let any

root of bitterness, whether it be sometimes we're upset with

our spouse, sometimes, set with our parents, set with our countries. Said,

I don't know low people are just people, but I

create it. We will not allow bitterness to stay rooted.

But when you start giving thanks, this thing will unclocked

in our lives. It may not happen overnight, but at

least give yourself a chance to give thanks. And as

you give thanks, you remember God's goodness. Don't let the unhappiness,

don't let the bitterness remain in your life. Amen?

And when you are happy, when you allow joy in

all these things don't matter anymore because you look at

the eternal things that God has for you.

There are greater days. There are things that I.

Didn't get to do in my early days, earlier days,

and I could have gotten angry. Why did my dad

lose the house? Why did he lose everything? I'd go

out to work from form six straight away. Had to work,

and they have to work and study. There wentever three weekends.

Just had to keep doing homework. And you know, the

lecture is telling me, hey, I think you're good. You

know you're going to study law. I'm like.

How I can't afford days. I couldn't do a lot

of things.

Now, we could have gotten angry and bitter, but you

keep giving thanks, You keep saying thank you just have

to go through this, Just go through some hot you

know hot. Hardship doesn't make you lumbo or like doubtful. Actually,

hardship makes you stronger. You just have no choice. You

get up.

And you do what you have to do to get

on with life.

Amen. Yeah, So if you feel you're going to a hardship,

it's it's good for the soul. It's good for the

soul to grow up. Yeah. And and God opens other

doors for us which you never So I'm thankful. Don't

let any bitterness go in. Just allow God to work

beautifully through the deepest and darkest moments. Right, but don't

allow bitterness to remain in us by giving thanks. And therefore,

as we give thanks, it also brings us to this

other thing. It's very tight, and you know I can't

help it all goes together. The next thought is for

us to remember why, because it causes us to give

God praise in all things as well.

It goes hand in hand.

Praise the Lord and give thanks, Give thanks, praise the Lord,

praise us, just allowing out of your out of your

inner man, to begin to praise God. Thank you Lord,

Praise you Jesus. And the more you praise Him, the

more that heaviness be lifted up, the more that unhappiness

gets lifted up, the more the burden that was on

your head gets lifted up. And then what seemed to

be foggy becomes a bit more clearer because you see

that God is in the picture.

He's with you, Amen, He's with you all the time.

The journey might be a little long, but when we

have Christ in the vessel, we'll go through the storm.

We'll sail through it.

We'll come through.

Amen.

Hallelujah. God is awesomely in control of our lives. We

got to give thanks, give praise in all things. Okayla,

didn't happen this way? Give you praise, Aha, my God,

gonna accident, Give praise, Thank you Jesus. I think I

almost met an accident, and I came this morning. I

really didn't see the car coming. I don't know why

I didn't see the car coming. I was turning right

and it was this way is down here. I was

in shot when the car passed me by, a little

canjil like a canja passed me by.

It could have hit me, but I didn't see it, and.

I just, again, Lord, thank you for the angels that

just protected me so close. I just don't know why.

When I look levet and look right, look, I didn't

protected me, that you were there and didn't me.

I'm not okay.

It would have just hit right, oh man, it would

have been bad. But again, thank you Lord for watching

have what you want, but God knows what you need

and he knows what's the best for us. So give

thanks anyway. God will bring it, and you'll bring it

beautifully for you amen. And then the last thing is

remembering causes us to not keep the eternal to ourselves.

We'd have the eternal and we want to share it

with other people. Did you know?

We all have an eternal.

Life in us? Don't keep it to yourself, shade, Come on,

I think we don't even realize we have this eternity

in us. When you have Jesus, you have eternal life.

You never die. Death should never be a fear to

any of us.

Death. We welcome death in that sense to when the

time comes, we will walk from death to life. And

it's right right, eternal life. Don't keep it to yourself.

Let someone else know. Amen, tell them, Tell them what

you are experiencing now, because they will never know the

eternal unless someone tells them. If you're experiencing God's eternal

eternity in your life, and it's not just in the

future today, our eternity begins the day we came into Christ.

When we accepted Christ, eternal life came in and we

are united with God and we walk with him. I

forget that we have the eternal sometimes when we complain everything,

are you I haven't bought my I haven't made my

first million law? Are you, I haven't bought I don't

know a house, so I don't own thiss and not again.

All things good.

But when you start complaining, you forgot that you have

even a greater eternity. You have a greater treasure in

where your heart is there your treasure will be and

you can't worry about a lot of things. You can

only give thanks. And then the great treasure that you

have above silver and gold is eternal life. And so

many of our families don't know him. How can we

find a way to share the eternal so that we

don't keep it to ourselves? And I asked this question

to myself on a daily basis because life gets busy

and I can forget. Last night while we exchange was

so busy. Last night everybody was doing Christmas cheer. Three

But we're all church lacks, so all of us were

talk about other things. And they then asked this, and

then they asked this young person from this big church

to announce us. Can you give your loudest shout the

young person when welcome exchange and announced.

And they did the story.

Of an exchange of heart from a white heart influence

wash the heart couldn't wash. It was all a skit,

oh mommy, And I told them my deaf community is

going to present, so I had to tell them, Mimi,

need to do some sign language. It was the only

skit with a message, the only message. Everybody was singing

or dancing, We're going to do drums whatever. And I

thought it was so significant because a whole crowd of

people were there. I can't see them where I was sitting,

but they were all on the other sides. But there

were TV screens all over. And it was such a

touching play that they did. I mean a lot of

people probably didn't know they were deaf because what I

wrote was I said they were deaf committee. But they

didn't have time to take it, so they just read

it and and they shed. And you know, the MC

is actually an M but he told the story about Jesus.

He interpreted it. They did it so well. They did

it so well. Matteo, who is the son of Daphnie

and Michael Mateo, is hearing his parents are there. He

cried because he said, oh, it's so sad that the

music was said, because you know, all the things are

coming down on the person.

And he said, why why are you like, you know,

why is the so heavy?

You know? And he's just a child. But there were

many people then. There were Christians there, they were non

Christians there, and it was out. It was the only

church with the message, and we shed it in mind form,

and I prayed at that message of the eternal touched

somebody that day last night. Really, really, they acted so well.

They did they all their hard What an opportunity.

We could have said, no, we could have said sorry,

no time, nobody available, but thank god we have a

variety of people, and so we had this group who said, okay,

well we'll do. Then they spend the whole day, you know,

waiting from three thirty rehearsel all the way. Now our

play was on. He had nine forty and they waited there.

It was so tiring for them. But if you see

the video, I don't know if I put it up,

but I videoed it and I thought they did it

so well. They did so well, I couldn't ask for more.

The small group only presented and their own death community

came to support. Yeah, just a few of us, But

I want to say, sometimes we may not always take

up the opportunity, but I'm thankful we did. And they

just shed a beautiful message through sign language and through mind.

So what about us? As you remember things in your

life this year and you reflect, what are things that

you could place in your life to cause you to remember,

because sometimes we could be upset with our parents. Upset,

don't you know we were, Oh, they didn't do this

for us, they didn't do that for us. I've set

with our leaders, I've set with Boss, I've set with ourselves,

I've set with God.

But remembering the only way.

You can remember is to take a step backward and

be still and just look through your ear and just

see is there anything you can give thanks for?

Even just giving thanks will heal you.

Even just giving thanks will cause your heart to be

lightened up. And then you remember a difficult moment. But

take that difficult moment and give it to the Lord.

Take the difficult challenge. Was it your health? Was it

your family? Was it your studies? Was it your business?

Was it a relationship? Was it something that didn't happen

the way you wanted it? Remember? And then if you,

if you know how, put little signposts for yourself. Signpost

meaning it's like a post it in your life, Like

every time you see this thing, Oh, I remember to

say thank you to Jesus, like I post it. We

always put post it to remember something. So you have

a switch post it, put as bright a color as

you want in your mind and post it. I'll remember, Okay,

I'll remember this thing, you know. But it's not a

physical remembrance. It's some sometimes it could be physical. It

could be Oh, if I look at the Bible, then

remember their promises of God for me or sometimes for

me when I look at a bird. And I had

a whole thing about birds during the pandemic because birds

started coming to the house, or maybe because I'm never

at home so I never saw the birds. And so

there's so many many types of birds in quote commoning.

And from that I read different things that God spoke

to me through the birds faedom about peace, about favor

of God. And every time I think about it, and

when they don't come anymore because some cat ate one

of the birds, but they don't take out to my

house now. And every time I see a bird and

I'm going through something, it's a reminder that God's peace

is still with us. Because I get these peace doves

coming to the house. All of us will have the

peace doves come into the house. But when this one came,

they would come. They have a little hospital, and my

light bulb like lamb, there's a hospital for the birds.

They give birth there all the time.

They lay eggs, and they lay eggs, so I think

I don't know a hundred times already hosting all these

birds my hospital for the birds. Some things help you

remember if you can't for if you're forgetful, don't live

a life and carry on the next year and on

without giving thanks to the Lord and just saying what

am I thankful for? Thankful for your salvation, Thankful for

your parents. Thankful for you know, that job that came

in the midst of the trials. Thankful for that person

who spoke truth into your life even though it was

hard to take. Thank God for that person. Thank God

for that support that came. Thank God for the people

you don't know who have blessed you. And there are

people you never know, So you have to be nice

to everyone. Be kind because there are kind people who

don't want to be known, but they will bless you.

So do remember, Amen.

Remembering helps us and it unclogs all our high blood pressure. Okay,

you feel like a bit hyper pressure, you say, pray Jesus,

Pray Jesus. Say man, I'll raise a Hallelujah. Don't just

sing it in church, singing at home? Yeah, you all

thank you Lord. And I've been doing that in the

meiz of my difficulty. I've been just saying, praise the Lord, hallelujah. Oh,

I don't know how this is going to happen. I

raise the Hallelujah to the Lord. Amen. Church is good.

To end well and then step into twenty twenty five confidence.

God remains faithful. He's the same yesterday, today, and our future. Amen.

He's Goddess. But you've got to unlock that power to

walk through your life by giving thanks to the Lord,

by remembering the good that goddist.
