You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
Be at peace today, right, be at peace today. I'm
-
going to take the reading from Judges chapter six, and
-
I'm going to give you a context. Right, Judges, is
-
a time in Israel where there weren't any king. Yet,
-
there was no king, right, And it was also a
-
time where the israel Lights moved into their promised land.
-
God delivered them from Egypt. For forty years, due to
-
their rebearless nature, they wandered around the wilderness and finally
-
a new generation entered into the promised Land. Now this
-
new generation did not have a personal encounter with God.
-
What the previous generation was supposed to do was there
-
was a pass down the commandments of God, passed down
-
the great testimonies of how God has delivered them from
-
Egypt into the Promised Land. It was also a time
-
where God raises people like their bro up, people like
-
Gideon up to deliver the children of Israel from their enemies.
-
So this is contact. They were a nation they do
-
not have king. God was your king, and God basically
-
raise people up to be a leader open them. So Judge,
-
just chapter six. Start off with verse one. Then the
-
children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord.
-
So the Lord delivered them into the hand of the
-
Median for seven years. In verse two, and the hand
-
of Median prevailed against Israel because the Midian nights, the
-
children of Israel made for themselves dance the caves and
-
the stronghold switch are in the mountains. So what's one
-
started by saying that, then the children of Israel did
-
evil in the side of the Lord. What they did
-
was basically an abomination their forsaken God. Their hearts has
-
grown cold. They turned away from God, and they begin
-
to venture into practices that was sinful. They begin to
-
idolize other things. So what God did was God basically
-
brought about a judgment. You see, the thing about Sein
-
is always there will always be consequences when we sin
-
against God. So the consequences for this group of people
-
is that the Lord delivered them into the hand of
-
Medians for seven years. On top of that, they did
-
not have proper housing, they don't have peace. They stayed
-
in dance cave around the mountain, and they were greatly
-
in poverish right In was three, it says so it
-
was whenever Israel had sown Midiaan knights would come up,
-
and also Amai Kites and the people of the eaves
-
would come up against them. Then they wouldn't camp against
-
them and destroy the produce of the earth as far
-
as Gaaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither ship,
-
nor ocs nor donkey. For they would come up with
-
their live stocks and their tents, coming in as numerous
-
as locusts. Both they and their camels were without number,
-
and they would enter the land to destroy it. So
-
Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midia knights, and
-
the children of Israel cry out to the Lord. So
-
it was a very undesirable situation. It was not only said,
-
but depressed. They worked hard, They did a lot of farming,
-
but the enemy came, took all their harves, took all
-
their flocks. They were constantly in hunger. The future of
-
this nation looks very very blik. It looks very very
-
blik as though there's no salvation coming. But you know what,
-
despite seeing and its consequences, I want to tell you
-
today that the Lord is good. The Bible says that
-
God is love. The people back then invited these things
-
upon themselves. The Lord allowed it to happen. Why is
-
because they straight away from God. They did not abide
-
in God. They did not practice the commandments of God.
-
And when they cry up to God, God decided then
-
to answer. God decided to send an angel of the
-
Lord to speak to Gideon. Put yourself back then, right,
-
everything that you up to yield nothing. In fact, it
-
was taken away by your enemies. It was a very
-
very dark time, very very dark time. There's no security around, right,
-
So they cry out to God because of the oppression.
-
And God answered. So next light, we'll say the encounter.
-
So the Angel of the Lord came and Gideon was
-
found in a place where he was at the threshing
-
floor hidden. But you know what, no matter how you hide,
-
either away from your enemy or you hide from God,
-
God can always seek you out. God will always give
-
you that encounter. So at the point when the Angel
-
of the Lord told Gideon that you will deliver this
-
nation as one man out for a while whether he
-
could do it. And I always tell people that for
-
God to use his church, he doesn't need a lot
-
of people. Day. Of course, the more the better it is.
-
But all it takes is one man. God can always
-
use that one man. God can always use that one
-
woman to accomplish his purpose. And I want to ask
-
me like to say that, Lord, let me be that
-
one man. Let me be that one woman, so that
-
you can use me for your glory. And then you
-
use me for your glory. The entire nation will be
-
blessed when you use me. The entire Knee life will
-
be blessed when you use me. The entire tailors, the
-
best university in Malaysia will be blessed uh when you
-
use me. Uh. The entire Ministry of Education will be
-
blessed when you use me. In t will be blessed
-
when you use me. The best packaging company in Malaysia, Packture,
-
will be blessed when you use me. You know, the
-
entire IPG will be blessed. Right, we need to step
-
up whenever God speaks to us. So God send the
-
Angel of the Lord told about Gideon's calling and plan
-
for deliverance. And Gideon was so minister to Gideon gave
-
an offering, and the Angel of the Lord sent fire
-
to consume that offering. So after that encounter, you read
-
from verse twenty two onwards. Now gidn't perceived that he
-
was the Angel of the Lord. So Gideon said, alas,
-
oh Lord God, for I have seen the Angel of
-
the Lord face to face. Let's pause there for a while.
-
Some scholars believe the Angel of the Lord here in
-
Capital is Jesus before he was reincarnate as man, and
-
he he came. But prior to that, many scholars believe
-
that this is the Lord Jesus himself as well as Capital,
-
a angel of the Lord verse twenty three. Then the
-
Lord say to him, peace be with you. Do not fear,
-
you shall not die. Hey, pause here. When I was
-
preparing this message this week, the Lord revealed to me
-
that his people need peace. Many of you are living
-
in a time where internally there's no peace in you.
-
There are things bordering you. The world will live in
-
Some people have termd me it as the wukaw wor
-
right we U see a What does it mean? Basically,
-
we stands for the world is highly volatile. At any time,
-
any second, anything can happen. Right twenty twenty, nobody taught
-
COVID existed, but it came. It was a highly volatile time.
-
Last year, nobody taught Russia would in Ukraine, but it
-
came this year alone. China is testing power by making
-
claims in South China Sea, so countries like Philippines Malaysia
-
definitely is affected. Vietnam is also affected with China testing
-
also about one thing to quote unquote reclaim back Taiwan.
-
All this you might think that it may not affect you,
-
but last year when Russia actually invaded Ukraine, quite a
-
number of industry was affected. Prices of different goods increase,
-
so it's highly volatile. And second, anything can happen economy
-
as well, any second anything can happen. In November, America potentially,
-
actually not potentially, America will have a new president because
-
Joe Biden is not running. So whether it be Kamala
-
Harris or whether it be Donald Trump, you will still
-
have a new president. And whoever will be in power
-
will have an effect on their trade policy, how they
-
deal with China, how they deal with different European country.
-
All this will have implication. Nobody knows what will happen,
-
but we know things can be Watertown. We live in
-
a world where it is also very uncertain because of
-
the times that we live in. It's very uncertain in
-
the past five years from Laisia. I also lost how
-
many prime minister we have probably be four I think
-
right in the past five years itself, so partly speaking.
-
And it's also very uncertain, all right. With the rise
-
of AI generative AI, things also uncertain people. For the
-
folks who are working, I mean for students who are studying,
-
You guys will enjoy like crazy thinking that AI will
-
help you in your studies. Ah, don't, okay, don't allow
-
AI to take over. You will be very lazy. But
-
for those who are working, questions like would AI really
-
replace us? Would AI take away our job? Or would
-
AI create more jobs? Things are very uncertain. Things can
-
be very complex as well. The world we live in
-
it's no longer black and white, it's quite gray. Sometimes
-
in the seventies, I don't know, Anti Roof, probably things
-
are simpler. But now in twenty twenty four, sometimes simple
-
things are also made complex. You don't have to go far.
-
Look at your conversation with your family, look at a
-
conversation with your friends, look at the conversation with your cliques. Essentially,
-
something is simple, but it's made complex. Things are a
-
bit ambiguous as well. Ambiguous means it's not very clear
-
which is the gray area. So as I began to
-
reflect on my own life and begin to reflect on
-
the life of the people under my care, who reflect
-
on the world at large, what is happening to our
-
country as well? I gotta help but feel that these
-
are things that at times will rop us from our peace.
-
Isn't it true? And today the Lord is telling his
-
people in West twenty three, peace be with you. Do
-
not fear. You will not die. You shall not die.
-
Maybe some of you are in a situation where you
-
haven't been sleepping so well right. Maybe things are bothering you.
-
There's no answer to the scholarship you are applying for.
-
There's no call for a job interview yet, despite you
-
graduating for X number of months, despite you transitioning from
-
a job or a new job. Maybe there was a
-
strain in certain relationship, in a family and relative relationship.
-
Maybe the right door hasn't been opened for you yet.
-
You feel that there is a date, ende that there's
-
no progress. You feel that there's always that block, and
-
it disrupts you of your peace. The Lord is telling
-
you again, peace be with you. Do not fear, you
-
shall not die. So gid in build an altar there
-
to the Lord in verse twenty four, and call it
-
the Lord is peace. I love this. Gideon didn't proclaim
-
as the Lord who sees. He didn't proclaim the Lord
-
he is God. Of course he is, and of course
-
he's a god who sees. He didn't say, oh, the
-
Lord is my banner. He said the Lord is peace.
-
The Lord is peace. And during that time the nation
-
needed peace. The nation needed to come to a place
-
where there is order. So hard check for you and
-
me this morning, sorry, a hard check when there is
-
no peace in our heart and mind, when there's no
-
growth or success, We need to check where are we
-
with the Lord? Where are we with the lot? Are
-
we living alive honoring him? Or have we turned our
-
hearts away from him? Instead of looking outside, how come
-
the job hasn't come yet? Instead of looking outside, why
-
the door is closed? Instead of looking outside, why am
-
my colleague is always like that? When I enter the
-
off it is no peace? Instead of looking out side,
-
why family is like that? Start looking first at the
-
insight our relationship with God. Because this group of people
-
they left God, They left God. So it tells me
-
in a time of chaos, darkness, and doubting his own calling,
-
Gideon proclaimed the Lord is Peace. So the word peace
-
here basically means wholeness, safety, and restoration, two points that
-
you may want to take note of today. The Lord
-
is peace. It also means Jehovah shalom. That is the context,
-
that is where the root Jehovah shalom comes from. The
-
context was the nation was in a dark time. The
-
nation left the Lord. But the Lord came in raise
-
Gideon and he proclaimed the Lord is Peace. So it
-
tells me that point number one. If you can't remember
-
all the point, just remember this point. God is peace.
-
You know, the world will tell you. If you need peace,
-
go and practice a few rituals right, disconnect from the
-
day to day life. Go to a jungle, go to
-
a resort, go to a hot spring, go to spa.
-
Do things that will give you peace. Do meditation, do mindfulness,
-
go whatever it is that will give you peace. That
-
is the world right, that is the practice. But the
-
Bible is very clear. Peace is not a state. Peace
-
is not a feeling. Peace is a person. Peace is God.
-
The Lord is Peace. So if you're looking for peace today,
-
you're looking for peace for a family, for your work environment.
-
Turn to God. He is peace. See God sick peace.
-
So the most important peace is peace with God. You
-
say you can't have peace with everyone. Everyone loves you,
-
Everyone is so peaceful to you. You're so peaceful to everyone.
-
But if you don't have peace with God, true peace,
-
you can never experience true peace in your heart. But
-
if you have peace with God, you walk rightly with Him.
-
Even if at this state you don't have peace with anyone.
-
That is the most important thing, Peace with God. In
-
the second Coourringans Chapter five, verse eighteen to nine, Now
-
all things are of God, who has reconciled us to
-
himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry
-
of reconciliation. That is that God was in Christ reconciling
-
the world to himself, not imputing their trespassers to them,
-
and has committed to us the word of reconciliation Romans
-
five one to two. Therefore, having been justified by faith,
-
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
-
through whom also we have access by faith into disgrace,
-
in which we stand and rejoice in the hope of
-
the glory of God. We have peace with God through
-
our Lord Jesus Christ. You know what is the absence of peace, chaos? Chaos.
-
Absence of God also means chaos. Absence of God also
-
means peace. If everyone is a Christian today, Bible believing.
-
Let's say the world population is seven billion, right, seven
-
billion people love the Lord, practice what the Bible preaches.
-
Every nation proclaimed that Christ is king. There will be order,
-
you know. But the world is full of sin. We
-
ourself as seiness. That's why there's a lot of chaos.
-
That's why there's a lot of disorder. But the day
-
will come where God, as a scripture says, this earth
-
will fade away, a new Earth will be created. Christ
-
will come. Joey cannot answer this. How many years will
-
Christ reign in the new Earth? Okay, there's two thousand,
-
anyone else? Okay, it's actually one thousand. That's right, it's
-
one thousand. Sorry, I don't have a buscat for you.
-
But you're the new Earth. Christ will reign one thousand. Yes,
-
that's when you have complete order, complete restoration. So without God,
-
there's always chaos, there's no peace. So as the Angel
-
of the Lord drew near to Gidea, next line, Jesus
-
Christ has also drawn near to us. Are we ready
-
to respond to say he is our peace? I already
-
say that Jesus, you are my peace. Are we ready
-
to say that? You know he is my peace? Right?
-
Because peace can only be found in Jesus Isaiah ninety six.
-
This is often quoted in Christmas. And guess what Christmas
-
is coming October? Yeah, two and a half months time.
-
So we're getting older. I have to use finger encounter
-
ready if I'm ten years younger? Just you see her. Ah,
-
it's so fast. Christmas this year twenty four And we
-
always quote this right. For to us a child is born,
-
and to us a sun is given, and the government
-
will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be
-
called wonderful counselor Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
-
If any electricity where you go to, you go to
-
the switch, you turn on the sauce. You need water,
-
where you go to, you go to the tap, you
-
turn on the sauce. If you need peace, who do
-
you go to? The Prince of peace himself? John chapter
-
fourteen was twenty seven. Peace I leave with you, peace
-
I give to you, not as the world gives do
-
I give you, Let not your heart be troubled, neither
-
let it be afraid. This is Jesus saying to his disciples,
-
and it's applicable for us. My peace I give to you,
-
not as the world gives you. You know, the world
-
find peace in a very different way. Sometimes, as Christians,
-
we may fall into that tread. We may fall into
-
the temptation as well. I pray that we will not
-
say that if I have X amount of fixed deposit,
-
therefore I will sleep better tonight. I pray that we
-
will not say that we will have X amount in
-
our bank account, therefore we will sleep better tonight. I
-
mean these are Money is important. Yah, Money is important.
-
We need money to go through life. But sometimes we
-
have to understand that money is not our master. Money
-
is a good servant, but very poor master, very very poor.
-
Webber says that the love of money is the root
-
to all evil. So we've got to love God, not
-
love money. So we cannot find peace even in money.
-
How many view you have friends who are millionaire, billionaire,
-
and you ask them, ask them like can they sleep
-
peacefully at night? People can be rich, but that doesn't
-
mean they have peace or true peace. Why I'm touching
-
on money is because money often causes people to feel
-
not at rest because you need money to do things right.
-
When you graduate, you need to work so that you
-
can relieve your parents from supporting you. And now, by
-
God's grace, you can support your parents right. And you
-
need money to pay bills. You need money to put
-
food on the table. You need money to elevate your
-
quality of life. God also wants you to enjoy life right.
-
God wants you to desire things that probably you have
-
in your heart. Okay, God gives us the power to
-
make wealth, but money cannot be our master. As a church,
-
we cannot idolize money. We cannot make money our security.
-
God has to be a security. So don't lose sleep
-
over money matters. The world will say cash is king.
-
One politician used to say cash is king, but the
-
Church will say Jesus is king. So let me say
-
it again. Don't lose slip over money matters because to God,
-
he can always provide for you. So instead of asking God,
-
when will you provide for me? Asked God? Have I
-
been walking right with you? Have I been honoring you?
-
Are any things in my heart that I have hide
-
from you, but you know is the exact thing I
-
need to deal with. Perhaps when we fix that, then
-
the peace will come, then the provision will come. Maybe
-
some will say, you know, if I get the good grades,
-
then I can sleep better. So of you, Maybe you're
-
not sleeping well because honestly your great needs improvement, which
-
even more so you should study, even more so you
-
should be diligent. Do your work. Be a responsible student,
-
but don't lose sleep over poor grades, because your grades
-
doesn't determine your future. God determines your future. Don't idolize
-
your greades. Grades are important. Go get all the good
-
grades you want, but don't idolize the greats. Don't even
-
say that for even adults or young adults here. Don't
-
say that I'm here in life today because of my grades,
-
because of how hard I've worked, because of my achievement. Yes,
-
it's true, you work hard for it, but always give
-
glory to God that it is He who have blessed
-
you with it. So, the students, I'll tell you that
-
if you lose sleep over great matters, you won't enjoy life. Reguards.
-
As you grow up, there will be other metters that
-
you may lose sleep over. For example, the big bills.
-
You're gonna pay that down payment for the house, that
-
down payment for the car. All of you thinking getting
-
into a relationship is fun. Right, Wait, wait until the
-
wed day bills come out. Don't lose sleep over this
-
focus on God em for parents. You know, I may
-
not have kids, but I do have spiritual signs. Sometimes
-
parents themselves don't have peace because worry over children. We worry,
-
but we must understand as the Lord has a plan
-
over our own life, the Lord will have a plan
-
over our children's life. And the Lord is faithful that
-
we should come. You pray for kids, and kids should
-
cont pray for parents and trust God that essentially in him,
-
the future is going to be good. Another one that
-
a lot plays in my heart because he spoke to me. Servers,
-
we need to learn to let go of control. It's
-
not to say that you're possessive, it's not to say
-
you're manipulating, But some of us we want to be
-
in control because control equals to peace. When you run
-
your company, you want to know everything to cause why
-
you want to be in control of your company. Sometimes
-
in family as well, probably the leader of the family
-
wants to be in control or make sure, make sure
-
decisions in the family follow this, decisions and company follow this, etcetera. Right,
-
a lot is has a lot challenged me to let
-
go of control. Lloy, He's probably asking you to let
-
go of control as well, because when you let go
-
of control, probably peace will come. You can't determine the outcome.
-
Some people want to be in control situation because they
-
want to determine the best outcome, and that is wisdom. Seriously,
-
you should use wisdom. God also give us a brain
-
to use. You know, we must be intelligent. We must
-
be wise in decisions where we can determine the outcome.
-
We should by in decisions where we can determine the
-
outcome and we want to be in control of it.
-
It's best to let go and trust God. You cannot
-
determine the economy outlook of this country. You can't determine
-
the political outlook of this country. Are showing someoney? You know.
-
We have so many prime ministers. And it was during
-
that transition where I find myself scrolling at news. Every
-
few minutes, I will scroll so who is our prime minister?
-
After the election? Scroll? Then one by one and p
-
got called to the palace. The king have to worrify,
-
not just one time, you know, two times the following
-
election as well. Right that, find myself, how come I'm
-
so worried about this country because I care for this country.
-
I love this country. Right by start giving me peace.
-
That's when the Lord told me trust in him. I
-
can't determine the outcome. He determines the outcome. And if
-
the outcome doesn't favor me, does that mean that I
-
would just let go of my faith? No? God is
-
still God. He knows what he is doing. So should
-
I go on control? So steps forwards to consider? Very quickly,
-
give you some article steps Philippines, chapter four, verse six
-
to seven. It is a context where the apostle Paul
-
wrote from the prison. He was in prison for preaching
-
the Gospel because the Romans felt that he was a
-
thread to the country. And bear in mind when he
-
wrote this, he was a prison earlier. Okay, he said,
-
be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
-
with thanksgiving, Let your requests be made known to God.
-
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
-
guard your hearts and minds. True Christ Jesus, those of
-
you are involved in prison ministry. You go to prison
-
and you visit people in prison, you will comfort them, right,
-
you will tell them, Maggie, don't be anxious despite you
-
being in prison. The Lord loves you, right, The Lord
-
still have a plan for you. Right, then go to
-
yearn year. Don't worry when you come, mom, the Lord
-
will open doors for you. We will always tell this
-
to prison us. But here we have a paw in
-
prison encouraging people outside of prison. And he said, be
-
anxious for nothing. The prison is not a good place
-
to be in. Right, how many have you been in
-
prison before? I don't raise up your hand, Okay for visit, right, okay,
-
let me clear, Okay your visit before. Great, it's not
-
a good place to be in because it signified a
-
death to a death to future. But the fact that
-
Paul pen is down tells us what he said has
-
to be true. Be anxious for nothing. Anxiety often is
-
about the future. Word is often about the future. Worry
-
has never been about the past. That's why Jesus told
-
the disciples do not worry about tomorrow. Anxiety is always
-
about the future. So something is from the future is
-
bordering you. You gotta anchor it in God. Don't anchor
-
it in the future, So be a It's just for
-
nothing to me. It speaks about God holds my future,
-
he holds your future, He holds the future. They're a
-
famous saying, I may not know what tomorrow may hold,
-
but I know who holds tomorrow. Do you know who
-
holds tomorrow? Where we coming? Do you know who holds tomorrow?
-
God holds your tomorrow. Proverbs twelve twenty five. Anxiety in
-
the heart of man causes depression, but a good word
-
makes it glad. So the antidote for anxiety is a
-
good word. Have you seen a depressed man? Have you
-
lived with a depressed man or depressed woman? I have.
-
My dad suffered from depression. Alcohol was his way out,
-
his way of escape. When a person is depressed, the
-
person can't cast a vision for the future. So don't
-
even talk about taking care of himself or herself. But
-
what God says that a good word makes it clad,
-
makes the heart clan. That's why we have to preach
-
the good news to people who do not know Jesus,
-
because Jesus is the answer to depression. Jesus is the
-
answer to anxiety, even for us we are Christians. We
-
may be too familiar with God, we may be too
-
familiar with Jesus, we may be too familiar with the Word.
-
But I tell you, when you put the word of
-
God first in your life, the revelational word that you
-
read will make you feel clead. The word renew our mind.
-
When we meditate on God's word, it renew our minds.
-
It helps us to shift our focus from anxiety to
-
the word that will encourage us. Next prayer and supplication.
-
Only God can answer my prayer. We have to believe
-
in this. Sometimes we don't have peace because we have
-
been running to person A, person B, person C for advice,
-
for help. Praise Scott. He sends friends to help those
-
who really helped you, expecting nothing in written. These are
-
very good people that you should get. But we can't
-
deny the fact that sometimes when we go and ask
-
people for help, they also have an ulterior motive. There
-
will always be an obligation. Worse, the very person that
-
you hope will help decided not to help you. They
-
can't answer your prayer, you can't manufacture your testimony. Only
-
God can. Only He can. So maybe today's a call
-
for you and me to turn to God with all
-
our hearts and not turn to men. Men can only
-
help to dis extend. God can always supersed that amen
-
with thanksgiving. If you feel that life it's not happy
-
for you, start being grateful the many things we can
-
be thankful for because gratitude opens the door to peace.
-
With thanks giving, it shifts our focus from worry to worship.
-
You may have ten things that causes you to feel
-
that I don't have peace, but shift that focus to
-
the ten things that you can be grateful for. Then
-
you compare your list again, then you realize that actually
-
are It's not as bad after always in it because
-
these are the ten things that I'm grateful for because
-
in all the ten things, I saw the fingerprin of God,
-
Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding. Dec I don't
-
know how to explain except to say you should be
-
feeling worried, anxious and concerned, but you are not surpasses
-
all understanding. You know. True story. Two men, one that
-
I know, he's one of the two, entered into the
-
boss's room. The boss say I have to release both
-
of you from work due to resizing restructuring a truck.
-
So yeah, and his clique walked up and a click,
-
look at him, very worried. The clique was very worried,
-
and look at him. How come you're not worried at all?
-
What's wrong with you? Your countenance didn't show that you're worried?
-
And he said, I have the peace of God. I
-
have the peace of God. The world will tell you
-
that you should be worried. Ma, how come you're not worried?
-
Something wrong with you? Huh? But the peace of God,
-
which surpasses all understanding, is that you should be worried.
-
People around tell you you should be worried, but you
-
you're not. You're not worried at all. There's a piece
-
of God. We surpassed us all understanding. Last God, your
-
hearts and minds, True Christ, Jesus, the High and Heart.
-
Where's your heart? Left side? Okay, trust of physial trust
-
official left side? The heart is here, right, the heart.
-
It's a seed of emotions. Whatever you feel. When you
-
feel joy, you feel happy, it releases something here right
-
that you feel very losing up. You feel joyful, when
-
you feel very sad, you felt like there's a step
-
of knife. Where does it go here? Right? The pain
-
is usually here? Right? The heart is a seed of emotions.
-
The mind is a seed of thoughts. The mind is
-
always here. Okay, depending which is your favorite. Hollywood often
-
happen here. Bollywood often happen here. Often happened here. So
-
you know, my company is going to restructuring, and I've
-
been hearing news as well. Honestly, I am quite affected
-
this past few weeks because it is almost like I'm
-
not sure whether there's a job security. I'm not sure
-
when people make restructuring today because I'm not consulted yet.
-
I'm not sure whether they will consult me. But I
-
hear there are plans. And I felt worried, faber anxious.
-
I felt there's a drama playing here. I'll go to
-
the boardroom. They gave me a letter. I will flip
-
the letter. I'll tell them, if you do this, you
-
will a lot of scenario playing. Yeah, have you all
-
been to situation before? When you play a lot of
-
movie here, you are the director and you always play
-
the worst case scenario. It's never the best case scenario. Congratulations, ronson,
-
this is the letter we decided to promote you. You will
-
now get a salary increase. Right, We always play the
-
worst case scenario where you know, but if you reflect
-
back right, a situation where you played the worst case
-
scenario and actually you went through. Did the worst case
-
scenario happen? Did it happen as worse as you thought
-
it could have been worse? During that time? Do you
-
had a good sleep?
-
No?
-
Right, Some mind is very powerful because anything that goes
-
through our mind affects our emotions. Anything that affects our
-
emotions affect our behavior. Anything that affects our behavior affects
-
our perception to its life. So Jesus should be seated
-
in not just our heart but mind. We always say, yes, Jesus,
-
you're the Lord in my heart? Raise the Lord? Is
-
he also lord in your mind? Does Paul have to
-
specify God that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
-
will God your heart and mind true through Jesus. So
-
I pray, I pray that you're blessed by today's word
-
that extreme come up. We're gonna cause a service to
-
close you can stand. I'll read what Paul have encouraged
-
us again. Why don't we read this together? Huh? Philippines
-
Form six to seven. We'll read this together, and the
-
next slight before this please Philippines for six to seven.
-
What do we declared this together? On my count one
-
to three. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
-
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Let your requests be made
-
known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses
-
all understanding. Will God your hearts and minds true Christ Jesus, Amen.
-
Remember Jesus is the Prince of peace. Okay, so today
-
I pray as extreme leaders in a chorus of a song,
-
reflect on your work with God. There's anything that you
-
need to get right with God. Now it's the right
-
time to get right with him, because when you get
-
right with Him, his peace will come and enveloped.
