  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. You can turn to Matthew chapter five. Matthew chapter five,

  4. verse five to sixteen. Okay, how many of you know

  5. what is our team this year? Okay, anyone can just

  6. shout out what's our team this year? They all may know? Okay,

  7. that all may know where did they come from? You

  8. know that on may know what. On may know what.

  9. Eric only know what everybody go and study after this.

  10. They all may know. They all may know that xbu

  11. is happening. They all may know that passa Steel is

  12. very handsome. They all may know that John is actually

  13. quite fit. They only know what friends. They on may

  14. know that God reigns. They all may know that Jesus

  15. Christ is Lord. They all agree that they on may

  16. know right. They all may know that we have the

  17. good news right and that Christ is the center of

  18. it all. Amen. So as I'm pondering about our team,

  19. and again team is just uh, you know, it's quite

  20. significant for us because we're all under God. The Church

  21. is under God, and we follow where the Lord leads us,

  22. where the Holy Spirit leads us. Basically, what that means

  23. for those that may not fully understand that is that

  24. we come under the authority of God as believe us,

  25. and we trust the leadership that God has placed over

  26. the church to lead us and to guide us, you know,

  27. to lead the church in the direction. There has to

  28. be a direction. That has to be a purpose. You know,

  29. you don't go to I mean all to just you

  30. have a certain calling and gifting one you know, you know,

  31. heal songs and different churches they're called and gifted to

  32. do different God has called them again, whether or not

  33. they fully operate in it, or whether or not they

  34. are able to get quote unquote in order. I mean,

  35. you know, it's like how when as a parent, how

  36. many here are parents? Only some? How many you have

  37. children and the rest of you they never lift up

  38. your hands or not. I don't know whether you know,

  39. should I ask weird questions about you know, you know,

  40. like parents, right, you have a certain how to say, uh,

  41. you know, you lead your family a certain way. Correct,

  42. There's certain values that you practice, certain things that you do.

  43. Whether you realize it or not, or whether you set

  44. it or not, you actually do and your children follow

  45. ma they follow, so eventually they will look like you

  46. talk like you. Whether you like it or not, they

  47. will want they'll follow your values. You know. Of course,

  48. if you're aware about it, then you will be intentional

  49. about it. If you're not aware about it, then life

  50. goes on and history repeats itself. You know, if you

  51. meet my brothers, you will notice that we talk the same. Right.

  52. I didn't realize how same we talk until I heard

  53. one of them talking. I'm like, oh, my goodness, I

  54. sound like that. You know, it's quite funny. Yeah, you know, so, yeah,

  55. you know, you will know them by how they do

  56. what they do. Okay? And today the scripture if you're reading,

  57. knows the title of the message today that they may

  58. see your good works and glorify your father in heaven. Okay,

  59. that they may see your good works, that all may

  60. know no what that know that Christians are happening, right,

  61. know what? I hope you guys know understand what people

  62. need to know that because if you don't even know

  63. what people need to know, hopefully by today you will know.

  64. Then our team for the past how many months have

  65. just been for fun? It's just a slogan on the wall, right,

  66. But no, no, no, there is a direction you know,

  67. some families here, if you're more intentional, you realize that

  68. we want to be a family like I remember talking

  69. to my wife, and my wife say, we want to

  70. be a family that's kind, so that we know my

  71. family you know we're kind. You know for me, it's

  72. like for me, is I want my family, you know,

  73. to be a family that serves the lot. For me

  74. and my house, we serve the lot. You know, you

  75. will see us here on a Sunday, you will see

  76. what that we honor the lot?

  77. Is it?

  78. The reason why I say intentional is because sometimes we

  79. practice things because we want to practice things, but we

  80. don't realize the repercussions of it. Right. And I want

  81. to encourage all parents here, young parents, new parents, think

  82. about what your family want to become. You do you

  83. know that you actually have a choice now that you

  84. have your own family. For those that are married, even

  85. though you don't have kids, you actually have a choice

  86. not to decide. You can follow the traditions of the past,

  87. which again not all traditions are bad or wrong. You

  88. know something, you can tweak it right. You can either

  89. do that or you can start afresh right and it

  90. is on you actually right it is on your responsibility

  91. or your kids responsibility. I guess when your kids grow

  92. older and they, you know, can decide on your own

  93. and that's on them right. But now it's on you

  94. right on how you want to lead your family. I

  95. hope you think about it. Okay, So today we want

  96. to talk about a little bit about our faith, okay,

  97. and the scripture key scriptures. In Matthew chapter five or sixty,

  98. it says, here, let your light so shine before men,

  99. that they may see your good works and glorify your

  100. father in heaven. So we talk about that only no right.

  101. And then the scripture here says, let your light your light.

  102. Now you're light. You're like those of you who are here.

  103. And I hope all of you you know almost so

  104. you know Jesus. If not, you will be applicable to

  105. you as well. Let your light right shine before men,

  106. that they may see your good works and glorify your

  107. fighting heaven. Let's read scripture together Matthew chapter five, verse

  108. thirteen to sixteen. If you got your Bibles with you,

  109. and I did this for fun. Just now I'm gonna

  110. go around and gonna hear wonderful voices from different people

  111. I'm gonna skip past the steven because he already you

  112. heard him. Hold, so gonna ask Sharon to read Matthew

  113. Chapter five, verse thirteen sixteen. I hope you guys got

  114. your Bible. So now I will just randomly go to

  115. anybody that will look or no, no emmy, Now as

  116. you read. Okay, chapter five, verse sixteen to seventeen, ver's

  117. the thing to sixteen?

  118. Ver's the thing to sixteen. You are the salt of

  119. the earth. But if the salt loses its flavor, how

  120. shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing

  121. but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

  122. You are the light of the world. A city that

  123. is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

  124. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under

  125. a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives

  126. light to all who are in the house. That your

  127. light so shine before men, that they may see your

  128. good works and glorify your father in heaven.

  129. Amen. Okay, familiar scripture salt and light. We kind of

  130. know that if you've gone to Sunday school or what

  131. you will probably hear that sot and light. So I

  132. have a question for us this morning when people see you,

  133. you and your works, who do they give credit to?

  134. Think about it? Let's think about it. Let's do refraction,

  135. and let's do with your Bible study. You can? Can

  136. we were interest? Try? Can we do a web study? Right? Oh?

  137. Can I encourage you? Can I encourage you to read

  138. the Bible for yourself? Can I encourage you to not

  139. form your faith opinions based on the opinions of men,

  140. dig the word yourself? Right? Uh? You know, don't don't

  141. form you know, that's the wonderful thing about the Bible.

  142. All of us can go and check back one. You

  143. can go and check back whether what I say it

  144. makes sense or not?

  145. Right?

  146. Ourthing? Encourage you to do that more because the problem

  147. nowadays sometimes is that we have a generation that relies

  148. on the opinions of men reridden and the word of God,

  149. and then we form our entire favor what we hear

  150. that we like, right, not digging the word ourselves. No,

  151. So I encourage you going dig the word yourself, Going dig, dig,

  152. dig and then find where they can find goal or

  153. not I hope can find goal. Okay, So what does

  154. the Bible say? Let your light so shine before men,

  155. they may see your good works. So when people see

  156. your works, and when I talk about works, can we

  157. think a little bit further or not? How do I

  158. think further? Oh? You know, just talking about good works

  159. as in charity work? Then be you fail ready because

  160. you don't have charity work? Right? What good work are

  161. you doing? You? You know? No? No, no, no, no

  162. no no. He's not talking about church. He's not talking

  163. about a group. He's talking about us. And when you

  164. talk about work, you're talking about your work, your day

  165. to day. When people see your the way you do chores,

  166. when people see the way you work, when people see

  167. the way you study your work, who do they give

  168. credit to? Your parents? Yeah? Right? And this you know?

  169. And then what were the Asian parents say? Hah no,

  170. tires got right? Okay, yeah, my son are very very

  171. bored on one. I hope you won't do one things

  172. like that. That's what my mom say all the time.

  173. Everybody will tell me, oh, your kids are so well behaved,

  174. only outside, not at home. Who do they give credit to?

  175. I guess another question to ask is always yeah, believers, right,

  176. most of us are? I hope who do they glorify?

  177. Who do they glorify. Okay, think about it? When what

  178. is our intention? When we do good? What is our intention?

  179. Can we have a heart check this morning? Can let's

  180. have a heart check. Okay, let's let's all decip even

  181. me and myself. Let's have a heart check. Okay, what

  182. is our intention? Let's go to scripture? Okay, Menthiel Chapter six,

  183. verse one to four. I'm sure you're never here, Wesley's

  184. share beforecus. It's very quiet always behind the Yeah, yeah,

  185. so Matthew six one to four, Yeah it can, It's okay,

  186. can just leave it. They got small enough that they

  187. can read. I purposely do it so small that they

  188. have to rely on their Bible. Not come.

  189. Take here that you do not do your charitable deeds

  190. before men to be seen by them. Otherwise you have

  191. no reward from your father in heaven. Therefore, when you

  192. do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before

  193. you do, as the hypocrites do in the signa guards

  194. and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Surely,

  195. I say to you, they have their reward. But when

  196. you do a charitable deed, do not let your left

  197. hand know what your right hand is doing. They're charitable deed,

  198. maybe in secret, and your father, who sees in secret,

  199. will himself with what you openly.

  200. Okay, okay, So this from the Bible is what Jesus said.

  201. So what does the Bible teach us? What does Jesus

  202. teach us when we are talking about good deeds? Okay?

  203. He teaches us to do good deeds unto God and

  204. not to men unto God? Why? Why until God and

  205. not to man? I do good to peoplema they feel good? Maa?

  206. Why must I do it until God? Right?

  207. Uh?

  208. And the Bible also teaches us to do it in secret,

  209. non to boast it. Don't tell people, are you know?

  210. Don't let your right hand know what your left hand

  211. is doing. You know that that's I think it's a

  212. scripture as well, you know. But he assure us us

  213. that our father in heaven sees it, right, Our Father

  214. in heaven sees it, and he will reward you openly. Okay.

  215. Let me give you this thought process. Why do it

  216. until God and not to men? Why? Because God is

  217. in charge. Sometimes we think that our bosses in charge.

  218. We think that all this person in church. You know,

  219. we got to remember that God is God. No, I think.

  220. Sometimes we forget no right, we forget that God is God,

  221. and we do things and misbehave. I say, because I

  222. also am in that situation, you know, and we point

  223. fingers and we you know, accused, or we get affected, right,

  224. thinking that God is not watching. God is watching, He's

  225. watching you, He sees you. No, we do good theys

  226. you know, you're like, you're not. You do something maybe

  227. self in church, and then you don't get the credit. Right,

  228. You do your best, you sacrifice, but you don't get

  229. the credit. Nobody recognized, Nobody notice you quietly come here

  230. and help. I don't know. I would say, sweet floor,

  231. but no, there's no floor to sleep, vacuum mob okay

  232. something whatever, arrange your chest, but nobody knows. Pass Steven.

  233. You know he didn't say thank you? Oh so, and

  234. then you get angry nobody. I don't want to do it.

  235. I don't get any But what does the Bible teach us?

  236. Who are we doing unto friends this morning? When we

  237. serve the lot? Are we doing it until passas Stephen?

  238. Please don't do it until passus Steven, he got no

  239. money to give you one. The most he can do

  240. is take you off for McCartney. Do you know why

  241. we should do it until God? Because God is all powerful,

  242. because God is a god of the impossible, Because God

  243. is a supernatural God. That's why we do it until him,

  244. not unto men. Let's get our perspective, right, canon, No, right,

  245. when we serve this morning, are you serving because passus

  246. Steven asks yourself? Or are you serving because God asks

  247. you theself? Are you not serving because let's let's have

  248. a hard check. Can we have a hard check you guys? Okay?

  249. Right?

  250. But Jesus teaches us to do good these until God

  251. and not until men. Why, it's very interesting, right, right?

  252. And he tells us to do in secret and don't

  253. boast it. But he also has a promise that our

  254. father in heaven sees it. And we're rewards openly, you know,

  255. human beings, right, we are finitek means that we have

  256. a limit, but God looks beyond. And I think i've

  257. shared here before. You know when you read the scripture, right,

  258. that's another thing about scripture. The reason why I encourage

  259. you to read yourself because actually sometimes scripture is very straightforward.

  260. It is very straightforward, isn't it straightforward? Right? That let

  261. me read that again, that you let your light so

  262. shine before man that they may see your good works

  263. and glorify your farth in heaven. Isn't that as straightforward

  264. as it is? You do good things, You do good

  265. work so that your light will shine to the people

  266. around you. They will notice that you are exceptional. Right,

  267. and what happens, you get the glory? No, your father

  268. and Heaven gets the glory. Why why must it be

  269. your for he not you? But then why at the

  270. same time, we are so angry? I stop me, I

  271. am so angry when people don't I people the credit

  272. for my work. Don't credit me, am, I no, take

  273. credit for my work? Someone? No, Josiah, come on, right?

  274. You work so hard? Right, and then your cliger get

  275. the bonus? How nonsense is that you're angry?

  276. Right?

  277. Y'all will go and standard resignation at thirty. It's unjust?

  278. But just say, do you know that God sees? Do

  279. you know that God is just? Do you know that

  280. your boss is not God? Your boss don't see it

  281. by your boss not God? No, So that's the thing.

  282. Sometimes we are finite. We only see like that, only

  283. the problem is bigger and we get upset, right, but

  284. actually it is God that is in charge. That's why

  285. we do it until God, not to men, because men

  286. cannot see you one, but God can see hey by

  287. birth teacher, not I t sha by birth teacher. Let

  288. me give you another perspective when I read the scripture

  289. like this. Of course sometimes as Asians, so we can

  290. also take it as duty you need, Okla, I don't

  291. want any credit, I you know, like like like doing

  292. t M my dad. Right, No, I be go, Okay,

  293. I beg krissila, okay God cila. One day, one day

  294. I'll be blessed. One day in heaven, I'll be blessed. Friends,

  295. Can I tell you something? God is not going to

  296. wait for it one day then one day today? Right?

  297. Can you don't be sorry scording someone? Last we say,

  298. I like scording messages. I know scotting. Y'all I'll I

  299. did was let me tell you a funny joke. Last

  300. week we had a meeting doctor jail me l Shirley.

  301. We had a meeting about something, la, and then we

  302. were just talking about the way we communicate, right, And

  303. I was telling them like, oh, you know, I went

  304. to this chesch band and someone said, I thank you

  305. Evan for the message, and I'm like, oh, thanks for

  306. the encreagement. Oh I love scoding messages. There I'm like,

  307. but I wasn't trying to score you, you know. And

  308. then and then doctor Jill was telling us. He said,

  309. you know, I think I knew me more direct, you know,

  310. And this is I was holding my church, she said,

  311. I was going and this is why I said, And

  312. I mean she said that, And I'm like, Jill, and

  313. you learn from you, and you learn from you how

  314. to be more merciful and all. And she's like, oh,

  315. I need to learn from you to be more direct

  316. because you're weare directly like. It's tough. It's tough anyway.

  317. My point is, remember the last time I said, if you,

  318. if you came in and talked about giving her our best.

  319. And remember when you talk about the Bible, it's always

  320. about the heart. It's never about the law. So when

  321. you read this scripture, don't look at the law. Look

  322. at the heart. What is the heart of the issue.

  323. What is the heart of the issue. Yes, we will

  324. getting greyst but what is the heart of the issue.

  325. And as I'm reading it, you know what I realized.

  326. I realized that Christ is guarding us against pride. I

  327. did this, This is me? Why don't I It's pride.

  328. It's pride that God is guarding us against. He's reminding,

  329. don't be proud. I'm seeing a don't worry your reward.

  330. I will give you openly as you do things in secret.

  331. God's promise, not man's promise. God's promise. Do we have

  332. that perspective? Amen? And he's guarding us again, pride. You

  333. know that pride is a sin, right image. We read

  334. this this way. Oh, let your life so shine before men?

  335. Oh light shining? Is I need to shine like shine, bright,

  336. like a diamond. So I joined American idol, and I

  337. become famously after I can go there and glorify Jesus

  338. and say, oh, you know all because I know I'm

  339. making fun of people. But but Noah, that's not either friends. Pride, humility,

  340. the Bible teaches us. Why teach us humility, because it's

  341. guarding us against pride. Pride is very scary. You know

  342. who else had pride? Lucifer right, So be careful. So

  343. when we follow what the Bible says, or when we

  344. learn read deeper, it is not just the law, it

  345. is the heart matter. So give you any example this pulpit.

  346. You know, I know I have the privilege to serf,

  347. to share, and sometimes it can seem like wow, very

  348. big time, you know. But I remind myself a lot

  349. of things happening there is it. I remind myself that

  350. I am This is not my pulpit, right, I'm entrusted

  351. with it, right, And I know sometimes you know, I

  352. also hear from passus Steven like oh you know we're honoring,

  353. like oh because of pass alwayn you know, I want

  354. to apply XPJ XBU and all. I mean, yes, but

  355. it was a God thing. It's not mean thing. Okay,

  356. it was not mean thing. It was a God thing.

  357. This church belongs to God. Now, I was telling PJ.

  358. Just now XPJ, yes, twelve years right, work hard, surf heart.

  359. But but it's not mine. I know, it is not

  360. my church. It is God's church and God will take church.

  361. I am just a steward. It doesn't belong to me, right,

  362. And some I have to remind leaders leaders, remember the

  363. people don't belong to you, right. Yes you are entrusted

  364. with them, yes you are responsible, but they don't belong

  365. to you. They belong to God. Any other day. So

  366. you've got problem with them, pray and ask God to

  367. help you. You guys are awesome here. I'm sure you

  368. never give us and save any problem. You are like

  369. the best if whatever? You know, what is it? Right?

  370. But see the way men operate, so it's different. No, No,

  371. it's like I build this. You know I suffered. You

  372. know want talk about suffering. Let me talk about suffering

  373. when we start the XPJ right twenty twelve. One year later,

  374. I got no kid. No, my first son right came.

  375. I was in church six am to open the church.

  376. Do I come and lordy old people? No? No, I don't. No,

  377. I don't because I serve the Lord, not men. I

  378. don't go in late claim. Okay, you know, ches of

  379. the ship, all these years of back pay that you

  380. owe me, are I don't do that because I know

  381. I'm called to serve the lot. Until today I'm called

  382. to serve the lot. I'm not here to serve people. Well,

  383. I'm serve people, are I know? Love me, feed my sheep? Okay?

  384. Why I'm here to serve the Lord? Right? So who

  385. are we serving this morning? Right? Regards us against Pride

  386. metthew Chapter six, verse five to seven, guys, Okay, can

  387. we go deeper the way today? Can I let's learn something.

  388. Let's learn something. Matthew six five to seven says, oh, okay,

  389. this is even better. So it talks about humility, It

  390. talks about it's a heart check, right, we're doing a

  391. hard check now. It talks about pride. Let's not have pride, right,

  392. talks about doing good. What else are you talk about?

  393. Metthew six five seven says, And when you pray, you

  394. shall not be like the hypocrites. For day love to

  395. pray standing in the synagogue and on the corners of

  396. the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly,

  397. I say to you, they are reward but you when

  398. you pray, go into your room, and when you have

  399. shut your door, pray to your father, who is in secret,

  400. in the secret place. In your father, who sees in secret,

  401. will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not

  402. use vain repetitions as the heathen do, for they think

  403. that they will be hurt for their many words. God

  404. even talks about prayer, even in prayer, and how we

  405. conduct ourselves in front of others, that the glory is

  406. not ours, but towards the Lord. You know how easy

  407. it can be, right, how easy it can be when

  408. you get the honor that you receive it and then

  409. suddenly you are gifted. And then you are like he's

  410. read dangerous or no, right, pride price read dangerous. Like

  411. I said, I always remind myself that this is not mine,

  412. it's God's. I'm just a steward and I must steward well.

  413. And I must, you know, be careful, right, and I

  414. must I must know that. You know, I don't force

  415. myself to be humbled, but I am humbling myself towards

  416. the Lord. That's why, to me, submission is important because

  417. when you submit to someone, you're saying, I am not king,

  418. this person is King. When you submit to God, say

  419. I'm not God, this person is you know, God is God,

  420. and that's very important, right. But you know, the danger

  421. is when we reach a place of independence, we think

  422. we know better, and that's a bit dangerous because the

  423. reality is we don't know everything. You know, So our

  424. posture is important, right, Our posture is important? And why

  425. is it important? Because we need to firstly, firstly, our

  426. friends right firstly, have the perspective that God is sovereign.

  427. You'll catch that God is sovereign. He is in control

  428. always and forever. Means ah, it is him, no how

  429. important this person is in our lives, very important. He

  430. is sovereign. He is in control. Right, you want to

  431. know the good news. He is in control. That's the

  432. good news. That means, no matter how bad your situation is,

  433. no matter how what kind of news you get about

  434. our country, no matter how difficult the market is right now,

  435. market is so horrible, pandemic and all this, no matter

  436. how bad things in your family is, God is still

  437. in control always and forever. Friends, what does that mean?

  438. That simply means that if He's in control, no matter

  439. how bad things get, we can go to him. Se Yeah,

  440. if you don't get this, ah, then we will always

  441. complain because the problem is always bigger one because we

  442. don't realize that actually God is bigger than a problem.

  443. And I don't blame people because you know, even me myself,

  444. because when you are facing the problem, let's say, I

  445. just give you an example. If God is bigger, but

  446. then I'm always looking at the problemer, and this talk

  447. is the problemer to my side. Right, the problem is

  448. bigger but actually God is way bigger than the problem.

  449. Do we have that perspective? Christians believe us? Can I

  450. encourage you? Don't make the problem bigger than God. Whatever

  451. the problem your life may be. Yes, you feel it,

  452. I understand you feel it. But remember that we need

  453. to have a perspective that God is sovereign and He

  454. is in control. That will determine the way we speak,

  455. the way we act. That will also determine the way

  456. we read the First Scripture. Just now that when we

  457. are wronged, God is just God with the care of it.

  458. I don't have to do anything. God with the care

  459. of it. How many of you have met Christians who

  460. are that confident? You know I They are that confident

  461. they've experienced it. Have you experienced Christ in that way?

  462. Have you experienced God in your life in that way before?

  463. If you have not, right, can I encourage you time

  464. to experience Him, time to experience it. Time to go

  465. beyond lip service, time to go beyond. I'm just a

  466. Christian because away across Hello, I'm a Christian because I

  467. follow Jesus and I have a relationship with Him. Do

  468. you want that? Have you experienced it? You know? The

  469. thing about our faithor is that it is a personal faith. Right, Yes,

  470. we get encouraged with testimonies. We get encouraged knowing that

  471. God is ruining people's lives. Yes, and somedens you get

  472. jealous of all a right that honest, we are human beings, right,

  473. but it is a personal faith. You can It is

  474. very hard to live on someone else's testimony one after

  475. a while, right is either do or die on It's

  476. either you you really believe in it or not. And

  477. my encouragement to all of you this morning is, don't

  478. live on someone else's faith. You experienced Jesus your health,

  479. You experience God yourself. You say, Lord, I want to

  480. experience you. Lord. This is my situation. Can you come

  481. true or not? Anna? Can you don't believe in I

  482. don't whether it's lie or not? La?

  483. Oh?

  484. You know sometimes Christians we have this tendency to say

  485. because God never answer immediately. Oh you know in one day?

  486. In your timing, friends, God's timing is today. God's will

  487. for your life is today. Are you gonna engage him? Right?

  488. Are you go engage him?

  489. So?

  490. God is solvent? I guys, Okay, we got to have

  491. that perspective and the wonderful thing about Christier I see

  492. it is that he doesn't just tell us no, he

  493. gives us tools now, and one of the tools right

  494. that we've learned. I think during the pandemic, of course,

  495. the church is going through difficult time, and I remember

  496. Pastor encouraging us and heals also reminding us that, hey,

  497. maybe we need to start practicing things like this where

  498. we learn and share and pray the Lord's Prayer on

  499. a daily basis. And I think for those of us

  500. who have taken it up right, we really gained out

  501. of it. So the Lord Pray is important for us.

  502. Strengths the Lord's Prayer, And you know what, Let's read

  503. the Lord's Prayer together. Can we do it together? You've

  504. got it in your Bibles, meant you six nine to thirteen.

  505. Let's read the Lord's Prayer together. Let's pray the lot

  506. of prayer together. Okay, are you guys ready in this manner? Therefore? Pray? Hello, guys,

  507. I didn't know together. It's just me and myself and

  508. me our father in heaven. Hello, be your name, your Kingdom. Come,

  509. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  510. Give us this day our daily break and forgive us

  511. our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and do not

  512. lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

  513. For yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the

  514. glory forever. Amen. Okay, why is the Lord's prayers significant?

  515. Why did Jesus teach us to praid is pray? Praidie sway?

  516. Why have you asked this question? Let me tell you why.

  517. It's because all of us need to be devout Christians

  518. and we need to know one thing together. It's a recussion.

  519. I'm just pulling your likeg No, no, that's not a reason.

  520. Let me tell you why. Or you're like what they're

  521. really taking everything. Cannot joke with your You need to

  522. be very careful. Yeah, I cannot joke. Okay. The reason

  523. why the Lord's pray is there is so that we

  524. have the right perspective of God. Okay, let's go line

  525. by line. Our Father in heaven, Hello, do that name?

  526. Because they're incuragion, praide is prayed daily. Imagine you wake up,

  527. the first thing you proclaim is our Father in heaven.

  528. You have a God in heaven that is your father?

  529. Do you have that perspective. Hello be your name. He

  530. is holy. He's not just any god, He's not just

  531. any person. He's holy. You no supernatural, all powerful. When

  532. we declared things like that, have I don't know what

  533. you've seen it this way before? Right, Your kingdom come

  534. or will be done? Do you know significantly when you

  535. declare that, you know what that means? Your kingdom come,

  536. not my kingdom, not the government in this country's kingdom,

  537. not the ruler of the world kingdom, not your boss's kingdom,

  538. God's kingdom come, his will be done, not your enemies

  539. will whoever the enemy is not. Oh, yeah, this country,

  540. this country, this country, this school, school, is school, this situation,

  541. this situation, in this situation, no God's will be done.

  542. Are we declaring that we have that perspective? That's how

  543. it's so important the las's prayer. Your kingdom come or

  544. will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Ah.

  545. I love this part. Why on earth, friends, let's not

  546. continue declaring one day line when I go heaven on

  547. need things for me? No, no friends on earth can happen. Really,

  548. healinger is needed here on earth. In heaven heaven, you

  549. don't need healing anymore already you know that heaven don't

  550. need really, you know you're all perfectly. You need healing here.

  551. So why did God give us the power to heal

  552. in on earth? Because it happens here. Whatever you bind

  553. on earth will be bound in heaven. You see that scripture.

  554. I'm taking scripture as it is, our friends, There's no

  555. other way to interpret. It is very direct, right, give

  556. us this day out deliberate love this line. Why it

  557. tells you that God will provide for you. God will

  558. provide for you. I'm so confident, you know I because

  559. God has provided for me. And I think I got license.

  560. I'm full time now. Okay, we chase after different things

  561. I wish we can chase. Okay, the bonus is different. Okay,

  562. we job about it. But the reality is God has

  563. never shout changed me. God has never sho changed me.

  564. Never once. My band account zero and can I I

  565. say this is don't rather you're a feelian, yourself got

  566. a full timer. You you know science we have we

  567. have this small mindedness care I used to turn small eminess.

  568. Oh you know you need to be humble, right, So

  569. pastorsa that self got need to be poor. And because

  570. if not. They're not humbled. Friends. I don't know where

  571. you read that, which fifture you read that in the Bible?

  572. Because from what I believe, I'm also a child of God.

  573. I also can experience abandoned life. Right, So what's different

  574. than me than you? There's no difference. If you can

  575. claim the promises of the Bible, I can claim. Friends.

  576. It works the other way. If I can claim the

  577. promises of the Bible, you can claim the professors of

  578. the Bible. I'm not any more special than you. I

  579. believe in it just the same way. It's just I'm

  580. called for different assiment and you have called for different

  581. assimon Just don't work different me. But the power, the authority,

  582. the understanding should be the same. Corona, Amen, your cut

  583. are not? You know how powerful that the truth is?

  584. Means that when you pray and for healing her in

  585. Jesus name, it can happen. No, means that when you

  586. ask God give us this day my daily brainer, he'll

  587. provide for you or no. But do you believe or not?

  588. I think that's the only different question we can declare.

  589. But do we believe? Right? And forgive us our debts

  590. as we forgive our debtors. Only God can forgive. And

  591. I've shared this just now as well. I have seen

  592. how unforgiveness in the lives of people messes with them

  593. to the point that they are stopped in the destiny

  594. that God has for them. I won't do this because

  595. of this. When we make such fouls is very dangerous

  596. because don't you think God is bigger than that. Let

  597. me challenge the top process. That's why unforgiveness are And

  598. I've seen how I've seen how an unfor a person

  599. who has unforgiveness in their life cannot progress. Now, God

  600. has many plans for this person cannot progress for many

  601. years because the bullet let go of this one hurt

  602. or offense cannot until God came intervene person forgave. It's

  603. very different now, very different. Friends, If you have unforgiveness today,

  604. let it go. It's not worth it. Whoever, faster, leader, church, whatever, Okay,

  605. I tackle that first family member. Do you know that

  606. when you have unforgiveness, wherever it comes from, it will

  607. affect other things. It will affect your life. You will

  608. affect your family, You affect your ministry. God might have

  609. a plan for you are to do great things for humor.

  610. But because you got unforgiveness, you cannot let go. You

  611. don't want that to me is a tragedy that we

  612. hold it on. Why did God give us this? God

  613. has given us the keys to the kingdom. Have the

  614. perspective that I am in control, know that I can

  615. provide for you. Please forgive people so that you have freedom.

  616. And I will forgive you because I know you'll make mistakes.

  617. I know you'll make mistakes. You're not perfect or so

  618. I will forgive you. Amen. And he says he do

  619. not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the

  620. evil one I I gave this example. Do not lead

  621. us into temptation. Okay, I'm a dad and you know

  622. someone you really a huh you mean you can lead

  623. someone into temptation? No, no, no, I don't think it's I

  624. don't think it's that way. I think instead it's like this. Okay,

  625. I'm a dad and I want my my use my

  626. son example. I want my son to be good and

  627. all and imagining my son. Let's say, I mean bad

  628. example are okay and nothing against it? Bad example? My

  629. son will go clubbing lah okay, and he's just Chelpius. Oh, okay,

  630. you want to go clubbing. Let's say lah, And now

  631. he died, I want to go? No, And I can

  632. do whatever I can. I can I can him up,

  633. I can change him. Can I can write I'm a father, Ma, Well,

  634. y're my thing is abusity. See he didn't want to go,

  635. but I can do to prevent him. But do you

  636. know that whatever I do, if he died, I still

  637. want to go. I can't do anything. He won't change

  638. his heart. He will still like the moment I I'm

  639. not at home at the moment, he found some keys

  640. and he will. Right, we're a funny example. But I

  641. just use this funny example. Right. Do you know that

  642. likewise for us, God being our father, if we want

  643. to misbehave, and if God has wonted us time and

  644. time again after a while, right, do you know as

  645. a father, I'll probably have to like do what do?

  646. Whatever you want to? I can't stop you. Do you

  647. know that that kind of relationship is similar to us

  648. and God? Do you know that if we want something

  649. so bad, God can't stop us even though it's bad

  650. for us. This is what it means by leaders away

  651. from dictation. See the only way we can be let

  652. away if that we submit to him. But if we

  653. submit to our dreams, desires and ambition and it's against

  654. God's will for our life, then that's very dangerous. That

  655. is my caution for us this morning, right for yours

  656. is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

  657. The perspective, So the Lord's prayer helps us in this

  658. one area to have the right perspective and posture towards

  659. God in our daily lives. It is a daily thing.

  660. Why do I say that because He says, here, give

  661. us this day our daily break. Why do you need

  662. to pray for our daily break when unless you have

  663. to pray this pray daily? Right? Amen? Matthew six Tady

  664. three says, but sick first, the Kingdom of God and

  665. his righteousness, and all this shall be added to you.

  666. The focus is God always, always Him first. Right, Yes,

  667. there are other things important in our lives, but the

  668. focus is God always. As believer us here we believe

  669. in Christ. Right, the focus is Him always, not your family,

  670. not your business, not your loved one. God first, because

  671. when anything else puts is put there, then it is

  672. very dangerous for us. Even God knows that. That's why

  673. if we put him first, everything else will be taken

  674. care of. Everything else be taken care of. Really, are

  675. you guys? Okay? So remember the focus is God always. Okay, heard,

  676. check done. So let's look back now, let's do it

  677. be a reflection. Okay, what is our track record? What

  678. have we been producing? Right? Matthew seven fifteen to twenty?

  679. What does it say? Beware of false prophets who come

  680. to you in ship's clothing, but inwardly they are revenance wolves.

  681. You will know them by their fruits? Do men get

  682. the grades from thorn bushes or free from distels? Even so,

  683. every good tree best good fruit, but a bad tree

  684. best red fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit,

  685. nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree

  686. that does not bad good fruit is cut down and

  687. thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits you will

  688. know them. Friends. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit,

  689. nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. And it

  690. also say that, therefore, buy their fruits you will know them.

  691. So how are we known friends to our friends? Our family?

  692. And can I? Can I say this? I had to

  693. clarify here, So I think fuss Steve also say, we

  694. are not so free as to go and check on

  695. everybody all the time. Honestly, it is not very It's

  696. not easy, you know, like to when I say check

  697. on MENI you know, let me go and find out,

  698. let me go and stop you. No, no, we are not

  699. so free, you right. We have things to do. There's

  700. a people to save. Not so so when you reflect

  701. on this, think about yourself. Think about yourself. I I

  702. I think about it myself. What is my trade record?

  703. What have I been producing? Right? Because because the reality

  704. is we can only account for ourselves and not artists.

  705. Is that true? Well, of course I will also clarify,

  706. and this is pastus. Steven probably will learn that for

  707. USA who are pastors and leaders of the Chesha, and

  708. for those different are called for LEADERSA. We have to

  709. account for your sola that's in the Bible. Okay, not God,

  710. I want to claim it, No mean sa God. Well,

  711. one day asked me, Elvin, you know you're you know,

  712. very close to Steven, So what have you done, you

  713. know to decible him. I would have to take an

  714. account for for people because I'm put in charge, okay,

  715. but ultimately I can only account for myself because when

  716. we stand before the judgment seat of Christ and when

  717. he asks to take an account of our own lives.

  718. I guess the question is what we tell him? Oh, no, La,

  719. you know past the season's so difficult, God, I tried,

  720. I tried. He's such a difficult person. Actually it's quite okay.

  721. He's not difficult, right, He's so difficult to handle, you know,

  722. always give me a headache and pray I give up bla.

  723. I cannot blame him, you know. You know what, God,

  724. Sharon now didn't worship properly the day decide that day?

  725. I cannot connect, you know that. That's why, you know,

  726. that's why I don't want to come for worship, believe right,

  727. because every time to see this worship leader, he's always

  728. someone else's fall. Now, Friends, when we stand in the

  729. judgment seat of Christ, right, it is so Brian, Can

  730. I tell you that The reason why I'm sharing this

  731. because this is something I think about, Maybe because I

  732. had a near death experience recently, Maybe because I'm a pastor,

  733. maybe because I'm ready for so when you reach a

  734. certain age, right, you you know, when you're young, you

  735. don't really count how much yes you have left. I

  736. have a tendency. Yes, ready, you don't you know if

  737. I got good life expretency, maybe thirty years? Right? So

  738. how really? Like, okay, what do I need to do? Now?

  739. You know you've God? Let me live for another like

  740. ten years more? There are reached eighty? Am I going

  741. to be frail? Am I gonna? So? I do think

  742. about it? It is so brief. It is so brief, Matthew

  743. seven to me, Not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord,

  744. shall enter the Kingdom of heaven. But he who does

  745. the will of my father in heaven. Many will say

  746. to me in that day, Lord Lord, have we not

  747. prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name,

  748. and done many wonders in your name? And then I

  749. would declare to them, I never knew you. Depart from me,

  750. you who practice lawlessness. Quite sobering, let's reflect, okay, our

  751. own self? Right? And you know when I was younger,

  752. when I read this scripture, I didn't really understood. But Jesus,

  753. how can you say you don't know them? They prophesied

  754. in your name, right, they cast demons war, they're doing

  755. all the things that you do. Oh, can I share

  756. with you the revelation I had recently about that scripture.

  757. Why Christ said, even though you did all these things,

  758. I don't know you because it's not about the works

  759. that is done in his name, but it is about

  760. the relationship we have with Jesus that is important. This

  761. also tells me. You know, in the Bible it is

  762. said that the name of Jesus is the name above

  763. every other name, that all demons tremble, all people the

  764. name of Jesus, Jesus namer. That means things that is

  765. done in Jesus name, it will happen because God has

  766. given the name of Jesus authority. That's why when we pray,

  767. we pray in Jesus name. You understand that that we

  768. don't pray just because it's a ritual. No, we pray

  769. because it has power in the name right. And maybe

  770. that's also why the world wants to trample on the

  771. name and use it as a swet and discredit and

  772. devalue the name. But we as believers need to understand

  773. that the name of Christ is so powerful that even

  774. if you don't have relationship with Christ, you can see

  775. usual to custout demons. You'll catch there on. It is

  776. so powerful that even if you don't have relationship with Christ.

  777. That means some people who don't believe in Jesus h

  778. still use the namer can heal the sick you'll catch there.

  779. It also tells you that whatever gods say in the

  780. word will happened. Right now you're you're catching that sermon.

  781. I'm like, Wow, Lord, your name is so powerful. People

  782. who got no relationship you are can see you use

  783. it on right. It's like the credit card that you

  784. have right, all of us can you say bad example?

  785. Can try and think of an example, but you gave

  786. me not. You can still use eight one because it

  787. is true, right, And that's how powerful it is. But

  788. that also tells me that it's not about the works.

  789. So don't be so preoccupied with the works. God, I

  790. did ABC for you. No no, no, no no, no, that's

  791. not important. You're not it's important. Mary. Why are you

  792. running around? Martha? Are you running around? Sorry? Look at

  793. think I'm married Martha talking as marta while are you

  794. running around? You know? Because right around, let's serf, let's

  795. do this, let's do everything, let's self serve and then

  796. and then just say hello. There will be a time

  797. where you can serve. But I'm here now. Can you

  798. please follow your sisters doing? Come and sit down and listen.

  799. What is important? Relationship? Friends, relationship? Important question to us?

  800. Do you have a relationship with Christ? Or are we

  801. Christians because I wear a cross? I'm a Christian because

  802. I'm born in the Christian family. Sorry, yeah, not count

  803. you know I I you know I'm a Christian because

  804. I'm power No, no, no, no, you are a Christian because

  805. you are a disciple of Christ and you have a

  806. relationship with him. If you have no idea what I

  807. just say, I think better start thinking about it today, right,

  808. because that is important? Not the works? Is it an

  809. AlCH woman? It is an alsh woman? Guys, can you

  810. not your I say, ouch, not your other nahmen say

  811. it's going to be okay because it's time to take

  812. responsibility of our own actions, isn't it. It is time

  813. to take responsibility difference. I hope you hear that from

  814. me today. Time to take responsibility. Our faith cannot be

  815. seconded to someone else. Now, parents, your child children's faith

  816. cannot be seconded to the church. Oh, I must find

  817. a good program. Uh. The best program is you at home.

  818. What you practice at home. That's something I had to learn.

  819. I can so easily say, ah, it's Exci's prey a problem, right,

  820. They never teach my kids enough. If I don't practice

  821. my faith at home, how do I expect my kids

  822. to practice your faith? If it is so easy for

  823. me to miss a Sunday service you gave me. No,

  824. we pass on one no without realizing it. That's why

  825. I say, be intentional. Think about it. Be intentional. You

  826. know it's ouch. It's time to take responsibility. Second Quarrinthians,

  827. Chapter five, verse nine to eleven. Second Corinthians, Cha five,

  828. verse nine to eleven. It says here therefore we make

  829. it our aim, whether present or absence, to be well

  830. pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the

  831. judgment set of Christ, that each one may receive the

  832. things done in the body according to what he has done,

  833. whether good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the

  834. Lord we persuade men. But we are well known to

  835. God and have and I also trust are well known

  836. in your consciences. So friends, we aim to be well

  837. pleasing to Him. That's why we please God. First. Important

  838. to think about that. But you want to know the

  839. good news. No, I know I share a lot so

  840. bring things and a lot of things that well behavior

  841. today past selving. Don't worry. That's good news, you know,

  842. the good news. Let me share with the good news.

  843. The good news is that we are not alone in this.

  844. We are not alone. Huh you mean each other? Well

  845. that too, But we are not alone because and let's

  846. read this together, John three sixteen. For God's soul love

  847. the world. That he gave his only Begoden son, that

  848. whoever believes in him should not perish but have ever

  849. lasting life. For God did not send his son into

  850. the world to condemn the world, but that the world

  851. true him might be saved. This is a good news, friends,

  852. These are good news. You know. It's the good news

  853. for us. It is the transformative power of Christ that

  854. is our good news. See, if we were to all

  855. the stuff that I just shad just now, if it's

  856. just have to do, if you were, then very susa.

  857. If it's your effort, your works, they're very difficult. That's

  858. why the good news for us and for everyone around

  859. us is that we have Christ. Amen, and there is

  860. a transformative power that happens in our life. It is impossible, friends,

  861. if we were to do everything that I just said

  862. with our own strength. But with Christ we can. Second

  863. Contance five seventeen says Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,

  864. he is a new creation. All things have passed away. Behold,

  865. all things have become new. You're catching then on John

  866. Tree eighteen to twenty one. John Tree eighteen to twenty one.

  867. He says, here, he who believes in Him is not condemned.

  868. But he who does not believe is condemned already because

  869. he has not believed in the name of the only

  870. be godden Son of God. And this is the condemnation.

  871. That the light has come into the world. And men

  872. love darkness redther than light, because their deeds were evil.

  873. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not

  874. come to the light lest his deeds should be exposed.

  875. But he who does the truth comes to the light,

  876. and that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they

  877. have been in God. That our deeds be done in God.

  878. When we have Christ in us, do you realize that

  879. we came one full circle We started with that all

  880. that they may see your good works. That they may

  881. see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

  882. So we need to remember that when we are transformed

  883. in Christ, we cannot help but aligned to God's will,

  884. that our works may glorify our Father in heaven. So

  885. what is the key word to your friends? The key

  886. word is transformation, transformation. I am no longer the same

  887. then I once worse. I am changed, transform, born again,

  888. set free, and a new creation in Christ Jesus, my

  889. Lord and my Savior. I speak that con because I

  890. am transformed and continuously transformed. You can't ask for usus

  891. even he wired me every day from the first day

  892. he warned me. Until now have I changed? I think

  893. I've changed a little bit, Lah. I think I've been

  894. a bit more patient now. I think I've learned a

  895. little bit more things. Now. I think God has revealed

  896. most to me. La. But I see it can only

  897. happen now when we have a relationship with him. He's

  898. not happening because I'm a pastor to know. I need

  899. to tell you that it is happening because I have

  900. a relationship with Christ and I know who my God is.

  901. My encouragement to you is can you catch the good news?

  902. And can you start having a relationship with him? Can

  903. you start asking God to transform your life because he

  904. can lord this thing that I've been struggling with for years.

  905. I surrender to you. I want to be a new creation.

  906. I want to be changed. Yes, I got a lot

  907. old habits. Stop believing in the lie of the devil

  908. that says I'm like that one. Lah. Do you believe

  909. in a lie? Because the more you proclaim it, the

  910. more you will happen. Now do you know that I

  911. don't believe in a lie anymore? I am a new creation. Yes,

  912. I still God, help me with my cat, help me

  913. with the parts of my life that I need help in.

  914. I don't want to hold on to that so strongly

  915. and say this is me, ien King, No, no, no,

  916. this is not me. What is me is what Christ

  917. has for me because He's the author and finish on

  918. my faith. But I see it starts. It goes to

  919. a relationship. Amen. Oh no, my battery just die. Okay,

  920. give me a minute now, you guys, Okay, it is

  921. a relationship with him, friends, it is a relationship with Him,

  922. and we have transformation that happens. That's why, when you

  923. think about it, right, we can't do this without Christ.

  924. We need him in our lives. Amen. After this I

  925. share a testimony you And of course we might think like, oh,

  926. you know, but I got dreams, desires, I got different things.

  927. Can I see what's the next slide? Yeah? Okay, let's

  928. read this Emphesians two ten.

  929. Oh.

  930. By the way, I've got homework for your Okay, can

  931. you go back and read yourself? Ephicians two, chapter one, Sorry,

  932. Emphicians chapter two, verse one to ten. Okay, Ephesians chapter two,

  933. verse one to ten. That's your homework. Okay, But we

  934. will read this scripture together. Emphicians two one ten. That says,

  935. for we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for

  936. good works which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk

  937. in them. We are created a new creation right for

  938. what for good works? Right? So what must we do? Friends? Right?

  939. We talk about googles? Do you pasca? Do you mean

  940. that I need to know go and look for all

  941. charitable or no? No? No, of course there's a transformation

  942. of mine. I hope today you're thinking differently a bit really.

  943. But beyond that, the thing that we need to constantly

  944. do as we liever us is to abide in Christ.

  945. What does that mean? Constantly be with him? Constantly? He

  946. is the focus constantly when you come to church. It's

  947. not just church, it is Christ. Abiding in Christ. It

  948. is important. Why do you encourage people to do quiet time?

  949. Because when you do it, you abide in Christ. You

  950. not fulfilled the law. No, no, no, no, no, we've

  951. got it wrong if you think it's like that. No,

  952. we abide in Christ. Do you know that relationships are

  953. quite fun? One? For those of you are staying love.

  954. The rest of you are married. I believe they're constantly

  955. in love. Okay, let's not go there. It's wan no, no,

  956. the person's calling me. I'm going to see the person

  957. extra excited, you know, I know Passistans were excited hin hin?

  958. You know? You know John chapter fifteen, verse four to it,

  959. John fifteen for two. And I'm ending soon. Okay. He says, here,

  960. abide in me and I in you. As the branch

  961. cannot bear fruit of itself where all the branches are okay,

  962. unless it abides in the vine. Neither can you unless

  963. you're abiding me. I am the vine. You are the branches.

  964. He who abides in me and I in him bears

  965. much fruit. For without me you can do nothing. If

  966. anyone does not abide in me. He is cast out

  967. as a branch and is with it. And they gather

  968. them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

  969. If you abide in me and my words abide in you,

  970. you will ask what you desire, and it shall be

  971. done for you. By this, my Father is glorified that

  972. you bear much fruit, so you will be my disciples. Friends,

  973. you gotta mind Christ. And I know sometimes when you

  974. talk about things like this, you talk about commitment. You know, Oh,

  975. you know, I need to sacrifice everything, is it? You know?

  976. I see peop who you know follow Christ right now

  977. while they give up everything, give up all their dreams. Friends,

  978. can I tell you that the plan that the Lord

  979. has for you is way better than any plan you have.

  980. I'll give you a simple example for those of you

  981. who know. And it's a sort of a testimony. Okay.

  982. I'm in the midst of my house renovation right now. Okay,

  983. in the midst of it, oh my goodness, in the

  984. midst of it, and I'm learning a lot. Okay, very

  985. interesting because number one, I didn't want to do it. Right.

  986. When I say that, what I mean is that I

  987. don't have the funds and all that kind of stuff,

  988. and it was kind of like a pipe dreamler. When

  989. I bought the house, I thought it'd be nice, it'd

  990. be nice, A lot'll be nice, right, but again cannot

  991. lack okay, for different reasons are and my focus is

  992. not ether, So you know, it's kind of like a dream.

  993. Oh you know a lot. One day it happened, great,

  994. you know, please give me a million or us that

  995. it happened, get all these different things, but didn't. But

  996. the start of this year, or I guess in the

  997. middle of this year, there were opportunities to do it.

  998. And I'm like, okay, let's explore, right, and now I'm

  999. in the midst of it. Let me give you this

1000. example of how I believe that when we sacrifice our

1001. dreams for God, or when we surrender, not sacrifice, surrender

1002. our dreams for God, he will have a better plan

1003. for you. So as we do the renovations, of course

1004. you dreaml and I'm like, oh, I already have a plan. Okay.

1005. For those of you who know familiar, my thought of

1006. the kitchen were like, it's going to look like a

1007. Scandinavian kitchen, right, a white color with all the wood

1008. looking cabinets and not just that the flooring or so

1009. I thought you'd be nice, that would but then again

1010. we're in an Asian country. Wood is not practical at friends,

1011. But suddenly I found out what you got a how

1012. they look like wood? One? Okay, you got right. So

1013. I pursued the idea lah, And of course, one thing

1014. after another. And if you're familiar with renovation, droma, friend,

1015. you're not familian and am I just human in this?

1016. Sometimes your plan won't go according to plant, and you

1017. have to make quick decisions because of timing and costing

1018. and different things. So it came to the point where

1019. my idea taja okay, jad ah, waste it right? Perfect everything.

1020. I thought, oh, I imagine you know. And then someone like, oh, lot,

1021. I pray, ask you for a vision, and then you

1022. give me this vision, your dream. And I'm like, but

  1023. I'm a practical person as well. I won't overdo things.

1024. I need to be a good steward. And I said, okay,

1025. let's just do what's right. And I sacrificed the idea. Okay, no,

1026. I'm not going to be this, let me just go.

1027. And initially in my mind I thought like, okay, according

1028. to budget, I will go with two by one towel

1029. if you understand what that means by one food right

1030. standard now right? And and I thought, okay, I'll just

1031. go with that. According to budget, let me go find something

1032. that works similar, you know, but I kind of like,

1033. let go a little bit of the perfect picture. And

1034. last this week. In the beginning of this week, I

1035. had to make a quick decision, you know, and I

1036. was discussing with my because I sending the thing, sending

1037. my currerent thing. He said, probably not a good idea.

1038. And then he said, you gotta find homogeneous styles and

1039. all the kind of stuff, because this is not a

1040. very good and I'm like, okay, let's just decide. And

1041. of course I was being disappointed, but I'm like, okay,

1042. let's just do what it's right. Let's just do because

1043. I wanted to do something that would last me, costly, effective,

1044. last me, make sense, right, why it's right? Okay? And

1045. then don't know why the contractor said, hey, why you

1046. don't want to consider two by two thousands, I'm like, huh,

1047. ken me in my mind, now two by two is

1048. expensive by she contracts Now I still with him budget,

1049. and I'm like, okay, So I go and look long.

1050. And I know, of course for those different ones that

1051. have warn me that, you know, renovations will put a

1052. strain in the communication with my wife. Yes, it's very true.

1053. And I had to make a quick decision. So I

1054. had to sort of like rush through the towel place again,

1055. this like the third time going there to look at towlestone.

1056. And my wife is at a stage where like you

1057. just decila, she'll be fair on me. You just decided

1058. you do yourself like right there, No, no, she's right encouraging.

1059. She just like you just decided that I trust you.

  1060. I'm like, okay, i'll killer. So I went, I found

1061. the right material. I picked the towels, right, I told

1062. the contractor, and then I left. I didn't really put

1063. my story to it. The next day I realized. I

1064. realized this as I picked the towels, just I just

1065. picked okay, this on this sun, you know, and of

1066. course you picked something that will gola. But I see

1067. I picked the towest that was not according to my

1068. original plan. But as I thought about it, number one,

1069. a two by two, THOUS looked myself. In fact, right,

1070. the tiles that I picked that was not my first

1071. choice kind of make my kitchen look a bit more classier. See,

1072. it is not my plan. I believe it's cost plan.

1073. Your plan for your life and your plan for different

1074. things might not be the best plan for you. And

1075. this is a lesson I'm learning now. No, because I

1076. don't think I will ever pick those TUFs because I

1077. think it's very expensive. But by some way I had

1078. to and the very expensive tasks that I thought was

1079. expensive was still But then in fact I think then

1080. again when they but only I can see that it

1081. feels that it's going to be classy because of the size,

1082. because of the I would never have chosen it if

1083. I went with my urgent, but I would never have

1084. chose it. But God has better plans. So it's a

1085. very simple example. But I so want to share with

1086. you that, yes, Elvin, you might be a bit high

1087. and my thinkers, would God ever be interested in your housetiles?

1088. Can I tell you he is because I walk with him,

1089. because I experienced him, say, oh God, it's not the God.

1090. There's like, oh, very far away, not even small things

1091. he cares, especially if I'm his child. But I have

1092. to walk with him you and to trust him because if

1093. I don't do that, then I'm just gonna do things

1094. my own way. I'm gonna force it right. But I didn't,

1095. and He had a better plan. Amen. So, friends, today,

1096. my simple encouragement to you is his abiding Christ. If

1097. you have never experienced him or never had an experience

1098. with him, to say, Jesus, maybe prior to this, you're

1099. just some deity, and you're just something I do on

1100. a Sunday, and you're not real, and your experience with

1101. Christ is only the people around you. Friends, I think

1102. it's time to go deeper. You experience Him for yourself.

1103. He's real, He's alive. You know. He's not just some

1104. story in the Bible or some belief that I believe. No,

1105. he's real. How many of us can be confident to

1106. say I'm being transformed by Christ daily? I'm sure some

1107. of you here you have experienced him, maybe true and

1108. experienced a long time ago. Hey, he wants to community

1109. with you every day. He wants to abide with you

1110. every day, and then you will bear fruit, and then

1111. they may see your works and glorify your Father in heaven.

1112. Not because of your own talent and your own gifting

1113. and your own skill, but because you are buying in Christ,

1114. and because He transforms you, not your word, He transforms

1115. you because you surrender the will to him. Jesus take

1116. the will. I was surrendered. I will come here.

1117. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

1118. information on our church, please visit as church org. We

1121. hit for you. God bless
