You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
I have a word for you this morning, and I
-
hope it's something that's going to bless you even as
-
it blessed me in preparing it. And this word that
-
I'm going to share with you this morning is on dependency. Dependency.
-
I think the last time I shared with you, I
-
shared with you the mercive God. And this time I
-
want to share with you about dependency is what has
-
that got to do with that? All me know? Well,
-
you know I'm here to tell you that if you
-
do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and sevia, I'll
-
say it straight out. You need to know him because
-
he's the only one that loves you, and he died
-
for your sins to save you. And in spite of
-
maybe some bad examples that you see, it doesn't matter.
-
He's the good example you need to follow. But praise
-
the Lord that we are surrounded by good Christians, good
-
people here who are willing to disciple you and help
-
you to get to know Jesus even better. And God
-
wants us to know that there is a step to
-
maturity after you know him as personal lord and savior.
-
And what is a step of maturity, it's being dependent
-
on him. There was such a great testimony. Look, guys,
-
if you haven't thanked your mother's, go back home today
-
and thank them for what they did for you. If
-
you haven't thanked your father's, go back home and thank
-
him for what he's done for you. And this is
-
what I've done. I've done what you've done. You know,
-
after having kids, I realized I must have been a
-
rotten child. Seriously. First, you know, I just went to
-
my mom, say, Mom, you know, after I've seen my kids,
-
I must have been so terrible to you. Please forgive
-
me because I didn't understand the struggles you went through.
-
I understand them now. I did the same thing where
-
my dad was concerned. You see, when you grow older,
-
that's how you're supposed to get better in your relationships.
-
You mature your relationships. None of all this ioh, you
-
don't talk that way. That's all nonsense. You have it
-
in your power to get things done right. So what
-
is that got to do with today's word? Absolutely nothing
-
is just continuing from your testimony, Okay, praise the Lord.
-
Dependency what and with home in Isaiah forty thirty. Maybe
-
before I get to the scripture, let me just tell you.
-
I've told you before that when you you know what
-
the world is that now right, it's in a tough place.
-
And I've tell you, I've told you this before, and
-
every time I come here, I remind you that Jesus
-
Christ is coming again. Whether you are I believe it,
-
whether we don't believe it, it makes no difference the
-
fact of the matter. He said it, and because Jesus
-
said it, I believe it. I believe it because he
-
said it, and I know, yes, I know it's going
-
to see me through Jesus said it. Jesus said it.
-
He's coming again. He's coming in real soon. The scripture
-
says that two nations will rise up against God's people.
-
Who are God's people. God's people are God's people Israelites. Okay,
-
the two nations that will come up against him Gog
-
and Magog. Gog and Magog is actually spoken of in
-
the Book of Ezekiel. All right, and who is Gog?
-
Gog is Persia? Who is Persia Ira? Who is Magog?
-
Magog is Russia? Thousands of years ago God prophesied that
-
these nations would come against his people. And truly, what
-
did Russia do? Russia just told Israel if you retaliate
-
against Iran, and you retaliate, you go overboard. We will
-
come into the picture. Did you know that? Traditionally, why
-
should Russia support Iran? But you see now, because the
-
whole world is against Russia, Russia will get friends from
-
wherever they can get them. And who did they become
-
friends with? They became friends with China? And the Book
-
of Revelation says the kings of the East will march
-
towards is you know, And I thought to myself a
-
much and I just don't need The Lord just reveals
-
to me this morning, what do you mean they're gonna
-
walk all the way from China to Israel. March means
-
it again to the they have jeeps, their cars, they
-
are and they will travel. Doesn't mean that they were walk.
-
But the fact that the matter was is that John said,
-
and I heard the number, and the number was two
-
hundred million. What did President Jijin pengz? I think I'm
-
pronouncing his name right? He always have difficulty with the
-
with the z there with President.
-
J z Z?
-
What Jinping? Okay? He said at a moment to notice,
-
China can raise up an army of two hundred million.
-
They're the Red Kings of the East. Who else is
-
aligned with China? A surrogate of China? North Korea? What
-
did North Korea do send three thousand troops to fight
-
along side Russia with Ukraine? And Ukraine is coming against
-
euro You know that the world is in turmoil. Whether
-
you and I believe it or not. The fact of
-
the matter is Jesus is coming and he is coming
-
again soon. So what do we do? Do we fall
-
to pieces? Hey, you are not lego. You were never
-
meant to fall to pieces. There's always supposed to be
-
something better for you. And Okay, I'm gonna ask you
-
a few questions, and I want you to be honest. Okay,
-
the more honest you are, the better will be your solutions. Okay.
-
How many of you feel or believe that you are
-
burning out? Okay, say about two three heads? How many
-
of you have burnt out? One? Two? Okay, there's a
-
little bit more, Okay, there's a little bit more. How
-
many of you believe in this concept of burning out?
-
There's such a thing. How many of you believe there's
-
such a thing as burning out? How many of you
-
don't believe anything? You have to be one of the
-
other if you okay, how many of you don't believe
-
in burnout? Okay? One? Praise the Lord? I have one friend?
-
Can I tell you that there is no such thing
-
as burnout? It is a lie of the devil. It
-
is a trick to rob you of what God's will
-
in your life should be. And is I have? Now
-
when I use this word you, okay, when I'm going
-
to be using this word you a lot, please do
-
not think that I'm pointing fingers at you, okay, because
-
when I say you, I mean me also, all right?
-
You know how many have you heard that when you
-
pointed someone's three fingers always point beg you, so three
-
times pointing back at you. So when I use this
-
word you, please don't get offended. I am speaking about
-
me as well, all right. I want you to know
-
that this word, this word burn out. Actually you know
-
what is the real meaning. The real meaning is cop out.
-
You have copped out. When you say you've burnt out,
-
you know what you've just done. You have blamed everybody
-
else for your failure. True, isn't it? Ah? You had
-
a person work me so much. I cannot do this anymore.
-
Hire a church every day, meeting meeting, meeting, meeting, meeting.
-
I cannot do this anymore. I burnt out. And then
-
you pat yourself on the shoulder and you think you
-
said something great. Wow, you're so powerful. You worked until
-
you can work no more. No, that's a lie. You
-
know what you've done. You've removed yourself from the equation.
-
You have removed yourself from the fight. You've removed yourself
-
from the action. What is that. Let's called cop out.
-
You've copped out. You see, if you want to see
-
change in your life, tell the truth to yourself. So
-
now I explain, Okay, if I want to see truth
-
in my life, I have to tell the truth to myself.
-
So I say that to me three times because remember
-
so that I don't offend anybody down here. You've got
-
to understand, this world is at a stage where if
-
we don't get an act together, we're going to be
-
coping out under the guise of this lie called burnt out. Hey, guys,
-
better to feel like you're on fire on earth serving
-
the Lord than not to serve the Lord and be
-
in the fire when you meet him. Being in the
-
fire means Christler's eternity. Let's get an act together, Jesus
-
coming against Sue, and I'm here to share with you
-
and answer. I'm here to share with you a reasoning.
-
And you want to fight with it, go ahead. But
-
it's the word of God, So take it up with
-
the Lord. Okay, here's what it says Isaiah forty thirty one.
-
It says, but those that weigh upon the Lord, they
-
show what renew their strength. They shall mount up with
-
wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary.
-
They shall walk and not faint. You know, I love
-
this scripture in the Amplified Bible. You know what it
-
means to be amplified, to be amplified. Now, okay, the
-
Amplified Bible, what does it do? It takes your scripture,
-
and what does he do it amplifies? You can hear
-
me better. What does the amplified version say about those
-
who wait for the Lord, who expect, who look for
-
and hope in him? Guys, if you come for service
-
on a Sunday and you expect nothing, you will walk
-
away one hundred percent satisfied because you came in not
-
expecting anything and you got it. You walk out without
-
getting anything. Wasn't that one hundred percent of your expectation? Ha? Ha? Guys,
-
we got to realize if we think we're not expecting,
-
we're still getting what we don't expect. If you expect
-
to come on a Sunday and say, I got this problem, Lord,
-
I got this issue. I really need an answer, speak
-
to me. You have this expectation when you walk in here,
-
you're going to walk out with an answer. Guess what,
-
When you walk in here, you will walk out getting
-
your question answered. Why? Because God does not disappoint those
-
who expect him to answer. God expects you to expect
-
of him. Do you know that if you don't expect
-
from God? You know what you're telling God, I don't
-
believe you. Oh, when you don't believe God, of course
-
you're not going to get anything. But if you believe
-
God to answer little me, if you believe God can
-
answer somebody is rotten as me, he will answer. He
-
will answer you. See. God does not answer us because
-
we are good or we are rotten. You know why
-
He answers us because we believe his word. We believe
-
in him. When you believe in him. You know what
-
you're actually doing. You're worshiping the Lord because you're saying, God,
-
you are greater than I am. Oh, God loves that,
-
because you're saying, God, your word is greater than my thing,
-
my thoughts. I think I'm rotten, So you won't help me? No, no, no,
-
no no no. Because I trust your word. You will
-
help somebody even though I'm rotten. You will help me
-
even though I'm rotten. You know what God says, well done?
-
You see it like how I see it. Because you
-
think when Jesus died for us, we were great people.
-
When Jesus died for our sins, we were as rotten
-
as rotten could be. So if he could love us
-
when we were so destitute and rotten, how much more
-
will he love us when we trust in him and
-
believe in his word. Hey, let's be clear. This, let's
-
be clear was used to death during the US election.
-
When all the politicians were saying, let's be clear, they
-
were actually telling you, will you listen to my lie? Now?
-
Those who expect, look for him and hope in him
-
will gain new strength, gain new strength, and renew their power.
-
They will lift up their wings and rise up close
-
to God, like eagles rising towards the sun, they will
-
run and not be weary. They will walk and not
-
grow tired. You see, that's the amplified version. Doesn't it
-
sound great? Just reading it already? I think I can
-
sit down. No need to listen to the rest of
-
the message. You got it. But I have to do
-
what the Lord told me to do. I'm so sorry.
-
Actually I'm not sorry, Okay. Scripture says in Isaiah forty
-
twenty eight, he says, have you not known? And have
-
you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the creator
-
of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary.
-
His understanding is unsearchable. In order to understand verse thirty one,
-
you gotta undertand what happens before that? And what what
-
is God saying? God saying, have you not known? Have
-
you not heard? That? This God he never faints, he is,
-
he's never weary. His understanding is unsearchable. See. God allows
-
certain things to happen, and God allows certain things to
-
happen because his name is glorified. I've got his testimony.
-
I need to share with you. This happened recently, just
-
about a month back. You know, North Carolina was inundated
-
with floods. Right have you seen those videos? I mean
-
it was frightening whole houses. I'm talking not I'm not
-
talking a heart, Okay, I'm talking. Imagine a house with
-
four rooms, five rooms, the whole house like a house.
-
It's just plotting down the river. The rooms, everything in
-
it is floating down the river. Then it came across
-
a bridge. The bridge was low, and when the waters
-
took the house, the house crumbled like matchsticks. This just
-
happened about a month ago. And I want you to
-
listen to someone who depended on God. A seven year
-
old boy called out to Jesus to save him before
-
Hurricane Helene floodwaters carried him away earlier this week, Mick
-
Micah Dryer, that's his name, Micah Dryer. His lifeless body,
-
he died. His lifeless body was later found about a
-
quarter of a mile away from his home in Ashville,
-
North Carolina. But his mother thinks he was saved. Nonetheless,
-
So you say, ah, how can it be, But the
-
boy died. Right, Hey, there are things are greater than
-
what we see at play. And you listen to this.
-
It brought tears to my eyes. You know. I'm so
-
proud of my son because in his last moments, he
-
wasn't screaming for me. He was screaming, Jesus, Jesus, save me.
-
Seven years old. When you're I know, grown people run
-
into trouble. Mama, Papa, dad, mom, seven years old. What
-
was he crying? Jesus, Jesus save me. Then the mother
-
heard him shout, Jesus, I hear you. Just before he died,
-
he shouted the motherhood, Jesus, I hear you, Jesus, I'm
-
calling upon you. This is what the mother heard. How
-
heart wrenching is this? But look at the mom and
-
instead he is my hero because he reached for something
-
past flesh, past human, past anything that even grown adults
-
I think would reach for. My son called out to
-
the One God Almighty, and he was rescued. I shared
-
with you the testimony where I just told my friend,
-
if you run into trouble, called in the name of
-
Jesus and he will save you. He is a non believer,
-
But when he was on his yacht and he was
-
dying because something happened, he called out to Jesus and
-
Jesus came on the water. This is what he said,
-
Jesus came on the water and saved him. He got
-
to show he gave up all those riches to go
-
and serve the Lord full time because he was the
-
son of a multi millionaire. But he decided that's not important.
-
Money is not it. It's Jesus. I want to live
-
for his understanding, the scripture says, is unsearchable. Scripture says
-
he gives power to the weak and to those who
-
have no might. He increases strength. How many of us
-
feel weak? If weak, praise the Lord. You're in a
-
good place. You're in a good place to be weak.
-
I tell you, I wake up every morning aching from
-
head to toe. It is no fun growing old. You
-
ache in muscles you never knew you had. Back pain,
-
leg pain, toe pain, finger pain, every kind of issue.
-
You want to read newspapers, glasses? Where my glasses? Where
-
am I reading glasses? Then you want to go and
-
look distance? Where are my distance glasses? I you cannot
-
take the sun gives me headache, neat sunglasses, all kinds
-
of glasses you need. I mean, that's the thing about
-
growing older. You know it's no fun. But I'll tell
-
you this, it's a good place to be. Because I'm
-
forty and forty, I'm sixty three and I'm alive, and
-
Jesus gives me strength. You know how the Lord encourages me. Look,
-
I want to share with people, and I want to
-
see people come to the Lord. It's my My desire
-
is to do that. But you know how he encourages me.
-
He encourages me by the things that I do that
-
I know it's not me. Uh. I like to go
-
work walking early in the morning, four in the morning.
-
But how many of you know it's horrible taking keys
-
with you, you know, having keys to your house and
-
you're going walking and you want to concentrate on walking.
-
The keys poking your leg because it's in your pocket,
-
or you're you know, putting in the back. It's horrible.
-
So I asked Lord Lord, what do I do? He said,
-
put a smart lock? Smart lock? Okay, how smart is
-
the lot? So I told Elder, maybe I put smart lock.
-
He said, don't you touch my door. Don't you touch
-
my door. I have this nice glass door. It's a
-
big nine foot glass door. It's a big one. Don't
-
touch it. I like it just the way it is.
-
So I go back to the loss and lot you
-
see like my wife, it's okay. You all can get
-
what you want. To give you an idea. And I
-
actually saw in my head something. How many of you
-
have heard us of a drop bolt lock? Never heard
-
of it? Go and search it, drop boat lock. And
-
actually that's what picture came in my mind. And when
-
I reached I found it exists. You know what it does?
-
When you press the button and the boat goes up,
-
and then when you release the button, the bolt drops
-
and locks. Oh this is amazing. I can work with this.
-
So I researched it. I bought all the parts and
-
this deeper valley. I developed a new skill drilling and
-
attaching things to aluminium. And I did it with what
-
is known as a self drilling screw. Do you know
-
such things exist? The engineer knows. You put the screw
-
on the drill and it goes right in. No need
-
to drill whole. You just put the screw. Special type
-
of screw. It's called a self drilling screw. But it's
-
kind of scared to work on your nice glass aluminum door.
-
But I did it, and you know what, it worked.
-
It worked, And elder Mabele is happy because she can't
-
see it. It's hidden. So every morning, as I did
-
this morning, I go to my wall and I just
-
wave my hand and the door unlocks. I go out
-
for my walk. When I come back, I just put
-
my thumb print and the door unlocks. How cool is that? God?
-
So God gave me that idea, and God told me
-
how to do it, and he shared with me how
-
to do it. It's a new skill that I picked up.
-
You know what encouragement that gives me. The next time
-
I meet someone who says, why should I accept your Lord?
-
Why should I accept Jesus? I have encouraging encouragement in
-
my heart to tell them he can give you any
-
answer to any question that you can ask, because I've
-
seen it happen in my life. So I can speak
-
with conviction that God will come through. He gives power
-
to the weaken, to those who have no mindy what
-
he increases strength? Do you know that even the youths
-
in verse Thudy, even the youths shall feign and be weary,
-
and the young man shall utterly fall. So you think
-
that you can do it because you're younger. I may
-
not be able to run as fast as you are,
-
but my spirit has more mental stamina. I have more
-
spiritual stamina. I've been with the Lord now forty five years.
-
Have I burnt out? No? Sometimes the flame a little
-
bit dam but stuck a fire. I have not burnt out.
-
You know what scripture says scriptures is a bruise wicker,
-
he will not snuff out. That's in scripture meaning that
-
if you are a wick of a candle and your bruised,
-
that he will not stop the flame. In other words,
-
you will always be burning. Don't you ever believe this
-
thing about Bernard? You know when I was younger, when
-
I first became a Christian, first I believed in the Lord.
-
I went to study. How did I handle my studies?
-
Seven in the morning, sorry, six in the morning, Take
-
the school bus, Be there in school at seven thirty.
-
This was in Singapore. I was doing my eight I
-
was seven thirty. Be in school from seven thirty until
-
seven in the evening. School the whole day. Why Because
-
I was training the school team for tennis. I took
-
part in all kinds of competitions. Every reach back my
-
hostel at nine o'clock eight thirty nine, wash clothes, go
-
for dinner, do two hours of study, walk to church
-
twelve midnight. Yes, walk to church. Do what pray for
-
people who needed deliverance from evil spirits. I did that.
-
Then when I came back to Malaysia. You have one guitar,
-
this little amplifier, these speakers, yours, these speakers, Okay, Me
-
and one guy would go to church at six a m.
-
We would load up the church van with a whole band.
-
You know. The basement is a speaker, this high thistick,
-
this white okay. And then the amplifier weight heavier than
-
the speaker, if you can believe it. One jazz man
-
for the keyboard, one jazz chorus for the electric guitar,
-
the electric guitar, the bass guitar, the piano, the electric piano.
-
Not not this keyboard, electric piano, the roads okay uh,
-
the big speakers, the amplifier, all the speaker stands. Those days,
-
our hotels give you nothing, all right. The drum kit
-
which I used to play, I carry in a gunny sack.
-
All the hardware put in a gunny sack and carry
-
it up and take it all the way to Kre.
-
From Klang to Kre, the hotel would not allow us
-
to use the lift. We have to carry two of us,
-
carry all these things up by stairs, four floors, three floors,
-
four floors. Sometimes it was on third floor, sometimes on
-
the fourth floor. Set up, go through the service, take
-
everything down, load the van, go to church for a meeting,
-
go back to Clang, put everything back in the Clang
-
church and go home at two am. I did this
-
for ten years, and after when we got our own
-
place and the place was permanently set up, I was
-
still in the school, in the school, in the church
-
ministry team for another fifteen years until I moved to
-
some other things. I have now been serving in ex
-
church for fifteen years. Should I be tired? Should elder
-
mable be tired? Yeah, but we're not. Do you know why?
-
If we don't do it, who's going to? So we
-
step into the business. We we want to pastor past
-
the pastor Kenna. We'll do anything, you know, We'll even
-
sweep the church. And you no need to give us title,
-
he says. No. With the title comes anointing. So when
-
you are asked to become a leader, when you are
-
asked to be disciples, become a leader, understand this, it's
-
not the name. You are actually being called to an
-
anointing of the office of leader. God will help you, guys.
-
When I go and see the Lord. I would rather
-
be hot here and bothered here than go up and
-
meet the lorder and then after that have another kind
-
of heat. I don't want that. So even the younger
-
shall faint. So this is to show a difference between
-
those who are young and those who are renewed by
-
the Lord. So again, but those who wait on the
-
Lord shall renew their strength. They shall man up with
-
wings the eagles. They should run and not be weary.
-
They shall walk and not faint. I'm not saying all
-
these things to make it seem like I'm boasting. I'm
-
just letting you know that an ordinary person like me
-
can accomplish things through Him. And you guys, you all
-
are much much much smarter than I am, more skilled
-
than I will ever be. Truthfully, what can you accomplish
-
with God on your side? Oh, you have no idea.
-
It's tremendous. Your potential is exponential. But you got to
-
remember these few things. Scripture say, is but those but
-
those what does but those mean? But those means? Anybody
-
you qualify, You qualify to see this happen in you
-
you qualify anyone. Hey, God does not respect whether you
-
are rich, whether you're poor, whether you're smart, whether you're not,
-
whether you're blue collar, whether you're management. He is not interested.
-
What is he interested anyone? If you, then it's you.
-
That's what he's saying, anybody. For those that wait, what
-
is weight mean? Wait means to cover, eagerly, wait, expect, expect,
-
expectation of wait, hoping, look, eagerly look wait. It simply
-
means this. You got a problem, you come to church.
-
You're not interested to seek the Lord about it. You're
-
not interested to believe the Lord about it. Guess what
-
when you go back, you will gain everything. You believed nothing.
-
You believe nothing. You gained everything? What was your everything? Nothing? Hey, understand,
-
we gotta understand. We walk through that door seeking the
-
Lord for an answer, seeking the Lord for proposition to
-
help us with that issue. We walk through the door saying, God,
-
I need you to respond to me. I need you
-
to do this for me. And when you walk in,
-
some guy will come. He may be thinner than me,
-
maybe not so thin, but he will be just sharing
-
the word. And guess what you get your answer? Why?
-
Because you expected? Do you expect from me? No, who
-
are you expecting from God? Will God disappoint your Absolutely
-
not you expect from him? He will respond to you.
-
So when you went upon the Lord, this is not
-
an ordinary word. In scripture. This word lord is mentioned
-
about seven thousand times. It's the proper name for God,
-
meaning that the one who actually created you is going
-
to take an interest, a personal interest. How lovely is
-
that when you think, Ah, my friend can't be bothered
-
with me, Ah, my boss is not interested to look
-
at me. Who cares about them? Because the Lord of lords,
-
the King of kings, the one true living God, the
-
one who made you, made me, He's interested in you.
-
He shall do what he shall renew. You know that
-
the Lord will renew. You know what this word renew
-
means in inscripture. This word means is to pass on.
-
God passes on his strength to you. You know when
-
when when we leave this earth, we will pass things
-
on to our children. Okay, while we are on earth,
-
we pass them on our traits. God is passing you
-
his strength, The one who created the universe passes on
-
his strength to you. How strong you think you'll be?
-
Did you know that? So he passes on or he
-
passes away. That means passed away from him on to you.
-
He gives what is his from him on to you
-
to change or be changed. It's to gain news, to
-
move past or over your problem. You will move past
-
or over your problem. That's what Scripture is saying in
-
Isaiah forty thirty one. Did you ever realize that, you say,
-
God is giving you a handle of how to take
-
yourself through during this time. So when you share Jesus
-
with somebody, you're not just sharing a word or an idea.
-
You're sharing a solution. You shall renew what your strength.
-
This comes from the word coach. And let me explain
-
to you. You shall renew your strength. You know what
-
your strength is. Your strength is a little teacher on
-
the world. Yeah, you know that's what this word means.
-
This word means little lizard, little lizard like a geckoler.
-
You know. So you and I you know what we are.
-
We are geckos. We're little lizards. I tell you, I
-
got my little dog. You know what my little dog
-
does every night, goes hunting for lizards, which we don't
-
like because we don't like it to dirty its mouth,
-
all right, But lizards no strength so scripture says, what
-
kind or strength will we have? We are the lizards.
-
Let me tell you what kind of strength you get?
-
Number one, let's talk about human strength. When scripture is
-
talking about one of the meanings of this is human strength.
-
We're talking about the strength of Samson. Wow, you and
-
I Samson? Can you imagine or not? Samson pushed down
-
the pillars? The building came down? Samson. How about this
-
ability and efficiency? How many of you want to be
-
efficient here? Oh? That's good? How many do you want
-
to have ability? Here? There you go. That's what the
-
scripture means. Usually renew your strength, your strength. The word
-
strength actually means your ability in your efficiency. The power
-
of people. You know, people power. People power removed Marcos
-
from presidency in Philippines. How many do you even know
-
who Marcus is? Can you see hens? I don't blame
-
you because most of us, most of you were not born,
-
or if you were born, you were little kids. But
-
in the eighties there was the people removed a dictator
-
called Marcos from the Philippines. People power. And then this
-
is the exciting one. It is a power conferred. My
-
spelling there is wrong. It's F E R R ed
-
not F F E R D. Okay, conferred by God?
-
What is a con When you're conferred a title makes
-
you something special? Right? When God confers his power on you,
-
don't you think there's somebody special? Whenever you hit a
-
brick wall, and I got to tell you at your
-
work or your studies, if you hit all your relationships,
-
you hit a brick wall. Wait in the Lord. Then
-
this strength is also much more than human. He's talking
-
about the strength of angels. Strength of angels. Our angels strong. Well,
-
the angels rolled away the stone. Michael took out Satan
-
on his fall, the angel Gabriel. I think, yeah, Angel Gabriel,
-
so you don't believe my word? You will keep quiet
-
and not speak when he told Zacharya, so you better
-
believe the angels got power? Okay, but the power of God. Oh,
-
I talked about that. Just now. What about the power
-
of animals? Do you know that you will be imbued
-
with the power of animals? Animals, lowly creatures. Let's consider
-
the end. Even scripture talks about considering the ways of
-
the end. Let me tell you something about the ant.
-
Let's talk ratio here, which is the strongest animal? Do
-
you know that the title of the strongest animal would
-
probably go to the end. Do you know why the
-
ant can carry six times its own body weight? It
-
can bench press h you always see the bench bench
-
pressing one when they carrying the food six times its
-
body weight. That is me being able to put to
-
carry a one thousand, two hundred pounds and mind you
-
and the and just doesn't lift it and lifts it
-
and walks all the way from wherever it finds the
-
food all the way to the nest. Can you imagine
-
lifting one hundred pounds and walking? Strength of animals the
-
strength of a lion. Here we're talking about the strength
-
of an ego, the strength of animals, because how many
-
of you know a gorilla could probably repew apart. So
-
animals are strong. So it's it's talking about levels of
-
strength that's beyond you. And the strength of the soil
-
one of the strongest things which we don't pay attention
-
to the strength of the soil. Strength that soil actually
-
is talking about economy, you know, because the strength of
-
the soil causes produced to come forth. When you got
-
good soil, you get more produced, so you can be productive.
-
You shall mount up, you shall renew your strength, you
-
shall mount up. You know why you mount up? You
-
mount up because you went down. If you don't go down,
-
you don't need to mount upward. And a lot of
-
us the pressure to go down is a lot stronger.
-
Am I speaking to people who believe that, who experience
-
that the strength pushing us down to go down is
-
much stronger. But I want you to know that the
-
Bible says you will mount up with what wings like eagles?
-
Do you realize that the eagle half of its body
-
weight is the muscle that drives its wings. So can
-
you mention if half my body weight was just muscle
-
and my arms? Oh, I'd be pretty pretty enormous. I mean,
-
imagine this whole one muscle come up here, be quite astounding.
-
So the thing is this, wings like eagles. Do you
-
know how strong an eagle is? If you go through
-
National geography or whatever, you can actually research this. The
-
eagle is so strong it can come down and carry
-
off cheats and fly away cheat. I know, cheet does
-
a huge cat. This is what the Lord is telling us,
-
we will mount up with wings like eagles. It also
-
says that the first auto of business is we fly
-
when you come to the lord. When you weigh upon
-
the lord. What's the first auto of business? The first action?
-
The first action is you fly. We always learn we
-
gotta crawl, then we gonna walk. Let me run. No,
-
God starts off with flying first. God wants you to
-
know with me. You fly. That's the normal stance. That's
-
the normal action is you fly. The next action only
-
is run. So he starts with fly. Then if you
-
can't fly, it's okay, you can run. Bible says you
-
should run. You know what this run is? The run
-
is like the marathons. You know, you know those days
-
a long time ago there was no email. You mean
-
such a time actually existed. Yes, there was a time
-
when there was no social media. Some of you are thinking,
-
cannot be yes. So you know when they run, pass
-
the message. They pass it to this guy. This guy
-
will run run, run, run, run, run twenty kilometers three
-
kilomeenis pass it to the next guy, run twenty If
-
those guys were live today, trust me, they will be
-
winning all the Olympic medals because they were powerful. The
-
other kind of running is you know what horses, horses
-
and majestic animals, when they run fast, strong, they were
-
designed to run. You know the horses be designed to
-
run him. I'm not mistaken. I read that their muscles
-
are church that it does not does not make lactic
-
acid as much as humans do. You know why we
-
get pains and all the lactic acid building up in
-
the legs. But horses are knowledge. Horses can run fast
-
for a long time. So Scripture is saying we will
-
run like them. What does it say? We shall run
-
and not be? You can be sure that when God
-
is in the picture, you will you cannot be. You
-
will never be. Most assuredly, you will unable to be.
-
You will be incapable of being. This last word, importent
-
is directed at men. You know men do not like
-
to be impotent. If you don't know what this word means,
-
looking up the dictionary it will help you understand. And
-
you will not be weary. You cannot be weary. You
-
will be unable to be. Can you imagine you will
-
be unable to be tired? That's what scripture is saying,
-
and I'm not saying it. These are what all these
-
words mean. Okay, will you will not be exhausted? So
-
if I am to believe you or believe the word
-
who do you think I would believe when we say
-
I'm burnt out? What scriptures saying I will never be tired?
-
Who am I to believe? I believe the word. And
-
I want you to know. If you can't run the
-
last movement, the least movement, you will at least be
-
able to walk. You will become greater, brighter. It means
-
that there is a continually something happening in your life.
-
You will be you will always be positively moving. All right,
-
you will be marching march you know, it's a brisk walk,
-
marching down. And then you got the other kindness, the strut.
-
You know, strut is like you hums up, yeah, ok,
-
yeahru its. It's like a dance and a walk kind
-
of thing. Why because God is on your side, you
-
will walk and the Bible says you won't faint. You
-
won't faint. You know what's faint fain is you stop?
-
You know, there are many Christian fainted people here, no,
-
not here, but in the world, there are many Christian
-
fainted people. These are people who are not walking, not running,
-
not flying. They fainted. But Scripture says you're not becoming exhausted,
-
You're not become weary, You're not will you will not faint.
-
You will not faint. So I want you to know
-
that in these last days, when work is difficult, when
-
family life gets challenging, when finances become a problem, when
-
things don't always work as easily as we hope for
-
them to work, I want you to know that God
-
is on your side and you have a solution. You
-
know what is that solution? Wait on the Lord, trust
-
in him, Know that he will never fail you. Do
-
you know I consider myself a wretched person whom the
-
Lord loves and saved, and because I believe that He
-
will help me. You know what he always does. You
-
think God has come to help those who are good.
-
Let me let you in on a little secret. None
-
of us are good, not one, not a single one.
-
I'm amazed I managed to bend down. There is no
-
not one of us that are good. So let's throw
-
that out the window. You know why God helps us
-
because we trust him. That's the only qualification, the only
-
qualification he needs. To believe him. In screen, I'm just
-
gonna run through this fast now. Probably sixteen three says
-
commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will
-
be established. You see. That's why when he tells me
-
I do this lot, do this this way, this way,
-
they say that's a thought, right, you know, I never
-
write it down. I start doing it when I can
-
see the whole picture in my head. Then I just
-
comby the things and I'll do it as I see it.
-
I never write anything down, you know why, because he
-
establishes my thoughts. I commit my way to low. I
-
never want to tell him I'm good to do that.
-
I'm smart, I'm intelligent, you know. I want to keep
-
the ideas coming. If I say, oh, this is my idea,
-
then guess what it'll stop. So I give him the
-
glory Lord, thank you for this idea. I know it
-
can only come from you, because you gave me the idea.
-
I'm gonna get it done. I'm going to get it done.
-
Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will
-
be established in one bit of ice says it, casting
-
all your cares on him, for he cares for you,
-
casting all, casting all. You got a problem, The Bible says,
-
you throw it at Jesus. You know, you don't come
-
and give it like we're wrapping like that, like it's
-
something precious. It is not precious. Your problem is not precious.
-
You know what your problem is. Your problem is something
-
to be thrown away. The bad things in your life
-
is something to be thrown away, thrown awhere. Throw it
-
at Jesus, and you know what He knows what to
-
do with it, casting all your cares on him, for
-
he cares for you. In Psalms thirty seventy five, it says,
-
commit your way to the Lord, trust also in him,
-
and he shall bring it to pass every day, every
-
day without faar, Say, Lord, give me ideas. Lord, give
-
me ideas. And Pastor Stephen, will I test some of
-
my ideas a little bit weird? But it will I
-
do strange things in your office, you know, because I'm
-
trying to improve things. Those ideas come from the Lord.
-
They're always there because I believe him to give me
-
those ideas, and he does. What's your issue, man, Hey, studies?
-
I studied two hours a day. I was the head
-
prefect of my school, the first Malaysian heat prefect, by
-
the way. And I was also the first head prefect
-
in my school to pass my exam, not just pass,
-
but do well. So I made the curve. What was
-
the difference Jesus. Jesus, Jesus was the difference. There's a
-
lesson that I learned forty five years ago and it
-
is carried through until today. Commit your way to the Lord,
-
trustfuls in him, and he will bring it to pass.
-
And this is what you use. Man, if you're a student,
-
you can be a top student. This is where you
-
get that from. Okay. Philippians four six evens is being
-
anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication
-
with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God.
-
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
-
guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus. What
-
problem do you have that the Lord cannot resolve? What
-
issue do you have that he cannot resolve? He can
-
resolve and everything, So don't worry about it. Don't worry
-
about it. But in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Supplication
-
prayer is asking, supplication is making known why all right.
-
Thanksgiving is knowing and thanking him for how he's always
-
helped you in that kind of an atmosphere. Bring it
-
to the Lord and He's going to continue to help.
-
Matthew six thirty three says, but seeking first, the Kingdom
-
of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall
-
be added. Unto you, guys, we're living in a time
-
where we need God to help us, and he has
-
just let you know he's there. He's just let you
-
know He is there to help. You have all the
-
resources you need to make it work, and nothing can
-
take that away from you. So if you don't, if
-
you've forgotten everything that I've said this morning, just realize,
-
just remember one thing that He will not leave you unattended.
-
He'll give you the strength, he will give you the
-
help that you need.
