You're listening to a message to go from at church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
As I was preparing, as I was driving one day,
-
suddenly this word came to me, you know, and it uh,
-
the word it came to me was Jesus is the
-
god okay, good, not the bear god? Okay? But g
-
O A T. Anybody have any idea what g O
-
A T means? Greatest of all time? Yay? And so
-
you you will notice because right our generation today very
-
like to use all these short economs one, uh you know,
-
I I y K y k y k is something
-
like that. Uh you know l O L or what
-
you know, all kind of funny, funny funny short forms
-
are okay, uh you know what, they be very creative. Uh.
-
And so I decided to write on it as I
-
felt that. And I think there's no better person to
-
to share on than the name of Jesus. Even as
-
we enter the town Christmas, right because Christmas is all
-
about Jesus, G says, is the reason for the season. Okay.
-
And before we go, then let's let's just do simple activity. Okay,
-
the next light. So when you see this, right, who
-
do you think is the good? What do you think?
-
Let's let's play a simple activity. Okay, come on, come,
-
I shut it out. Okay, I don't know. I just
-
googled this right. NBA says, is between Lebron James and
-
what's the other guys name? Michael Jordan hm hmm, some
-
somebody else? Some who else? What was the answer? Someone says, Corey? Okay,
-
Steph Covey, Yeah, I heard that. So somebody said cob
-
when Okay, so we can debate that, we can debate.
-
Maybe someone have different answers. Okay, let's keep going. Next one,
-
what do you think? Come answer? I'm not think Massy
-
Oh sorry, arresting Nado. That's not sure, okay. I think
-
many of us for things Massilla. Okay, okay, but I'm
-
not sure to give you an answer because maybe we
-
may have different opinions. Okay, So let's keep going. Let's
-
have some fun. Now, what about this? This one a
-
true Malaysian, true Malaysian if you're if you're Malaysian and
-
you say Linda, something is I think a unique payer.
-
But but probably in some ways, Linden, and also in
-
many ways. So so it's it's uh, I don't know
-
some people may have different opinions, but as Malaysians, definitely
-
man okay uh okay, next one, next one, this tough
-
wish laksa, pinang laxa or sara laxa. Okay, shout your
-
answer one to tree. Okay, I can't wait here. The
-
answer I I heard Malaysia. Okay, we can cut your
-
debate is later. Okay, okay, next one, next one. How
-
about Jesus' disciples. Oh, Jesus really got in, said Jesus.
-
I said, Jesus disciples, disciples, Paul pal not in the
-
child flower a postor Okay, okay, yeah, so okay, designs.
-
It's a tough one. Okay, many of us who say
-
it is Peter who thinks Peter. But if you read
-
the Bible, you will know that both the sons of Zebedee,
-
James and John went to Jesus and asked to sit
-
at his side. You know, actually the mom did that, actually, Naime,
-
and Jesus said, you know, if you want to be
-
the greatest self, be a servant for all you know.
-
And so Jesus has a very different definition of great
-
or greatness. Okay, So I won't debate about that. I
-
won't even give you an answer on that, because really
-
it's about serving, as the Bible says, Jesus says it. Okay,
-
but you see, many of us can debate who is
-
the greatest of all time between some of these categories,
-
but no one can dispute that the greatest of all time,
-
the man who has ever walked the face of the earth,
-
the greatest of all time is Jesus Christ. He covers
-
every category. The greatest of all time is Jesus Christ.
-
And there's the mathists the title of a message today.
-
Jesus is the god g eighty greatest of all time.
-
And so we may look at many great people on
-
the face of the earth. Maybe someone say Albert Einstein,
-
Maybe someone say us President. Maybe will say some famous
-
influence or artists. Not even Elon Muss is greater than Jesus.
-
By the way, I just read two days ago Elmas
-
Network kid about for the eight billion. Imagine how much
-
money that is. But not even Elon Mus is greater
-
than Jesus. Jesus is the greatest of all time who
-
has ever walked the face of the earth. In fact,
-
every other religious guru or teacher is in the great
-
and still remain in it except for Jesus Christ, the
-
only one who has reasoned from the day and is
-
alive today, and we celebrate him. Amen, pace a lot.
-
So I'm gonna give you four reasons why Jesus is
-
the God, okay, and he will come in the letters G, O,
-
A T. Are you ready? Here we go? One. The
-
first one is the most obvious G, which is God.
-
How many of you know that Jesus is God. If
-
you didn't know, I pay it, you'll know today, Okay.
-
Jesus himself is God. John one eighteen says this, no
-
one has ever seen God, but the one and only son,
-
who is himself God and is in closest relationship with
-
the Father, has made him known. So the Bible is
-
very clear, and you will find many scriptures that point
-
towards that, is my okay. Of course, you know sometimes
-
the scholars, I mean, if you have a debate with
-
some of with certain people, they may ask you to
-
point a scripture that Jesus explicitly says I am God.
-
Actually you won't find it, okay, but there are instances
-
like this that is very clear. He's talking about him,
-
and he says he himself is God right and his
-
closest relationship with the Father. Okay, let make you another
-
one Collosians one fifteen. He is the image of the
-
invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. So Jesus Christ
-
is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over
-
all creation. So he came down himself with God. He
-
came down incarnated into flesh, God made flesh, came down
-
as a human being and walked the earth. And he
-
is the image of God that walk on the face
-
of the earth. So Jesus is the God. He is
-
both supreme and sufficient. What don't you say this to me?
-
Supreme sufficient, He is both supreme and sufficient, supreme for
-
our salvation, sufficient for our centification. So in many other
-
religions you find that they need to work on their salvation,
-
needed to do good works. Why did they do good
-
works to outweigh or to balance the scale, you know,
-
to balance it so that they have more good works
-
than bad deeds. Right, But in Christianity, none of us
-
can ever earn our salvation ourselves, no matter how much
-
good works you do, no matter how much charity we do.
-
In fact, a Bible says that our good deeds are
-
like filty racks, you know. And so no matter how
-
much we do, we could never earn our own salvation.
-
It is a free gift that God has given to
-
us because we can never be perfect enough. Right. God
-
is perfect and he demands perfection, but we can never
-
be perfect enough to equal to him. And so that's
-
why Jesus Christ had to pay the prist for us.
-
Because you and I can never do it on our own.
-
Christ came now from heaven to do it for us.
-
He made the first move. All we need to do
-
is to receive him. Amen. Let's now al turn our
-
bibles to Ephesians chapter two, verse four to ten. Emphesians
-
chapter two, verse four to ten. If you're there, say yeah, okay.
-
Ephesian chapter two, verse four to ten. He says, But God,
-
who is rich in mercy, because of his great love
-
with which he loved us, even when we were dead
-
in trespassers, made us alive together with Christ by grace
-
you have been saved and race us up together and
-
made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
-
then in the ages to come, he might show the
-
exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness towards us
-
in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved
-
through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the
-
gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
-
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, for
-
good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk
-
in them. Amen. So we are saved by grace, Amen.
-
Or we are not saved by works, but we are
-
saved for good works. Is a products by part of it, Okay.
-
So the Bible says that it is a gift from God. Friends,
-
salvation is this salvation is a gift for the past, present,
-
and the future. Say to me, past, present, future, Say
-
one more time, past, present, future. Salvation is a gift
-
for the past, present, and future. You and I. We
-
are pardoned for the past. We have peace for the present,
-
and we have a promise for the future. The full
-
package of what's salvation is pardon for the past, piece
-
for the present, forms for the future. We're gonna take
-
it one by one. Bible says that if we confess
-
our scenes, he is faithful and just and will forgive
-
us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. So
-
I said that we are pardoned from our past right,
-
and some of us may have done terrible things you
-
know in the past, or if I ask you today,
-
like if I could turn back time and change your life,
-
and what would you do differently? I think there'll be
-
many of us who will wish we didn't do certain
-
things right, terrible things. We wish it never happened. Some
-
was an honest mistake, some we knew as well, but
-
we did it anyway. And some of you may still
-
be holding that guilt or even worse, that shame. And
-
sometimes the devil will take advantage of it and rob
-
you even more when they lie into your ears and
-
say you're not good enough. Friends have been there before.
-
I know what it's like. The enemy is very good
-
at taking opportunity when we feel that we are not
-
good enough for God. I want you to know that
-
you and I, as long as we have confessed with
-
our mouth and repent, Jesus Christ has forgiven our sins.
-
You've got to believe that we are pardoned for our past. Amen.
-
Psalm one hundred and three. Chelse says says this as
-
far as the easies from the west, so far as
-
he we moved our transgressions from us. How amazing that is.
-
In fact, many of us may not forget certain things.
-
They have done, terrible things, the memories em bettered deep
-
in our minds. But do you know something amazing? God
-
does not remember our since did you know that Bible
-
says in Hebrews eight twelve, for I will be merciful
-
to the unrighteousness and the sins and their lawless deeds.
-
I will remember know more and you can find upout.
-
I think three of fose scriptures that talks about is
-
that he says I will not remember their sins. And
-
this is one thing that we say, I've been thinking
-
pondering about and he barefos me right, that God, who
-
is all knowing yet does not remember your sins. Can
-
you imagine how amazing that is? How can someone who
-
is all knowing can forget your scenes in the sense
-
or not remember your scenes? You know? That is how
-
amazing God is. There is you know? Is a uh,
-
It's who God is you And I may never fully
-
be able to comprehend a fathom how great and how
-
amazing God is A man, I wouldn't be so glad
-
that God does not remember our sins, because if he does,
-
we will be a lot of trouble humans do humans
-
always remember a wrongdoings. You know, you will find this
-
very common, not very common. But it does happen in marriages,
-
you know what I mean. Right, I'm not speaking from
-
my experience because my marriage is still young love, we're
-
still honeymoon one year. Everything is good, praist a lot,
-
you know. But those of you who walked no longer
-
you know, right, Sometimes ether a husband, why I do
-
something wrong? Then they do it again. Now you say, oh, yeah,
-
I see you always had that, You did that ten
-
years ago, you know, still doing it until now, oh
-
ten years the goes to remember, you know, it happens.
-
So I'm speaking for our experience, not as a husband,
-
but as a son, because I see it happened in
-
my house. That's when natural because we remember remember, right, Uh,
-
we like to remember the bad stuff, like you know,
-
the bad things about people and so. But God is
-
so merciful, Amen, so merciful. He does not remember our sins,
-
and he as far as he eases from the West,
-
he has removed our transgressions from us. Wow, so amazing.
-
God is good. Amen, someone down in mind you God
-
has part of your past. Don't let the guilt or
-
the shame hold you back. Amen. Second is the peace
-
for the present Romans five, ver was one to two
-
Romans five one to two. Therefore, having been justified by faith,
-
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
-
to whom also we have access by faith into disgrace
-
in which we stand and rejoice in home of the
-
glory of God. We have peace with God, the Bible
-
says a man. So if you're still struggling in your past,
-
I'll let you know. You and I we have peace
-
with God today, present, present times. Today you have peace
-
with God. Not because of what we've done, not because
-
of you know whatever we can do. No, only because
-
of Jesus Christ, who paid the price for us. And
-
how do we have peace for the present through faith
-
and man through faith? Collosians one, verse nineteen to twenty says,
-
for if please the Father, there in him all the
-
fullness should dwell and by him to reconcile all things
-
to himself, by him, whether things on earth or things
-
in heaven, having made peace through the blood of his cross.
-
Aren't you glad that you and I have peace with
-
God for the present? Amen? So whatever the struggle you're
-
going to, don't worry. Trust in the Lord. Know that
-
he has the best. It's thought for us. Jeremiah twenty
-
nine eleven talks about that he has a future and
-
a hope for you and I. Amen. So we have peace.
-
That's what salvation is. We have peace for the present.
-
And the third one of these, we have a promise
-
for the future, and that is freedom. Promise for the future.
-
The Holy Spirit, who has been given to you and I,
-
is the seal and the guarantee for our salvation. Second Convenience,
-
Chapter one, verse twenty to twenty two. Second Convenience one,
-
verse twenty to twenty two says, for all the promises
-
of God in Him are yes, and in him Amen
-
to the glory of God through us. Now he who
-
establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us
-
in God, who also has sealed us and given us
-
the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. Amen. Praise
-
be to God. We have a guarantee. Come on, as
-
believers of the Lord. We need to have this confidence
-
that you can stand and say, I have a sure
-
promise the promises of God, Yes, and Amen. And the
-
Holy Spirit is my guarantee that I have salvation in
-
Christ Jesus a man, even as you have believed. And
-
all we need to do is this, believe in our
-
heart and confess with your mouth. How simple that is
-
to receive this free gif Believe in your heart, confess
-
with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we
-
have a promise for the future. Phesians four thirty says,
-
do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God by whom
-
you were sealed for the day of redemption. So this
-
is one thing that I pray quite frequently, because the
-
Holy Spirit is actually the closest to us are by proximity,
-
if you think about it, here right now, in our
-
hearts right and oftentimes we go on without living and
-
do the things that you want to do, and sometimes
-
we displease God. The Holy Spirit is actually being grieved
-
in our hearts, and so I praise it very often. Lord,
-
forgive me, Holy Spirit, forgive me, forgive me when I
-
have grieved you and have not heard your voice, or
-
even if I hear it, I don't obey it. Because
-
the Bible says the Holy Spirit is the one who
-
who seals us for the day of redemption. Amen. So
-
you and I have ever promised, say good Amen, hallelujah.
-
The next one is Jesus is sufficient for our scientification.
-
So let me say it again. Jesus is supreme for
-
our salvation. The reason why we have salvation is because
-
Jesus is supreme. He is God, and supreme just means
-
his highest ranking. Right. He is the greatest of the greatest,
-
no other greater than him. And because he is God,
-
he has a power to forgive sins Amen. So Jesus
-
is supreme. Because he's supreme, we have salvation. The second
-
thing is this use this is suffision for our scientification.
-
So have you ever had this situation?
-
Right?
-
By? How many of you stay in like in like
-
dorms in campus dorms? Okay, you have this thing called
-
a common shed area, the kitchen, you have a FIDG, right, uh,
-
you know? Or maybe you stay with the house, your
-
with your with your friends. Right. And have you had
-
this experience whereby uh, maybe you buy your favorite drink.
-
It could be a coconut, It could be a I
-
don't know, a milo. It could be some coffee all
-
the way from I don't know which country it came
-
from us or whatever. It is, and you put in
-
the fridge right uh and you and you put it
-
there because you wanted it to be cold for one
-
day and the next day you came back and it's
-
not there. Have you ever been there? So? What what
-
do you do when you come in then? Situation given? Okay? Okay,
-
so that the next time you buy the same drink
-
and you put it there, What what you do exactly? Why?
-
You will take a big note and say, do not
-
touch put it there all some words would write my
-
name and a lioness one sticker, big sticker, big, big sticker,
-
lioness or this belongs to liness. Whatever you just do,
-
you have just sentified the drink, declared it's yours. So
-
Jesus Christ, when he gave his life on the cross
-
to die for our sins, he has put the chop
-
on us. Jesus has scentified us. And because of that
-
we have been set free and man, so when we
-
believe we received that salvation. Jesus was sufficient because he is,
-
and he was because he was blameless, spotless and without saying.
-
When he walked the face of the earth, he was blameless, spotless,
-
and he and and without sin on earth, not a
-
single scene. And so in the Old Testament, in Leveticus
-
chapter sixteen, right in the day of Atonement. Right, you
-
can go to really Leveticus sixteen. I won't go to
-
the whole thing. It's very long. But this is how
-
they they they asked forgiveness. Evan the High Peace will
-
go into the tabernacer, right, and he will take two goats. Okay,
-
he may be familiar with this story, and he will
-
cast lots, right, and one of the goat will be
-
released into the wilderness as a scapegoat, and the second
-
goat will be sacrificed. Right. And so Aaron will do
-
that first for himself, to centify him, to cleanse him.
-
And then he will sprinkle the blood on the tabernacle,
-
on the mercy sy in all this right, to santify
-
the Tabernacer. And then after that he will take another
-
two more goats, okay, and do the same thing, but
-
this time for the people of Israel. Okay, again, he
-
will cast the lots. One will be he will cast
-
the lots, and then he will lay both his hands
-
on the goat's head, and he will start to confess
-
the sins of the people on the goat okay, and
-
then after that is being released as a scapegoat. So
-
let me read it to you, leve taker sixteen, verse twenty.
-
And when he has made an end of a throning this,
-
he is Evana for the holy place, the tabernacle of
-
meeting and the author. He shall bring the Life God avon.
-
He shall lay both his hands on the head of
-
the Life God. Confess it, Confess over it all the iniquities.
-
List these iniquities of the children, issue all their transgressions,
-
concerning all their scenes. Wow tree diven words all the iniquities,
-
all their transgressions, and all their scenes. That's a lot
-
of emphasis. Are three different words, putting them on ahead
-
of the goat. And he shall send it away into
-
the wilderness by the hand of a suitableman. The goad
-
shall bear on yourself all the intuquities to an in sorry,
-
to an uninhabited land, and he shall release the God
-
in the wilderness waned. You know, even though every single
-
year they had to do this every single year, why
-
because it still was not sufficient. Every single year they
-
had to do it. Evan and the high piece had
-
to do this every single year. And even though the
-
sin had been removed. Right, the escape good is like
-
she's still lingering somewhere in the wildness. Right, He's still
-
lingering somewhere. And the sacrifice was insufficient. And that's why
-
you had to be carried out every single year. But
-
do you have many even know that when Jesus Christ came,
-
he paid the price once and for all, once and
-
for all. We never need to sacrifice another animal or
-
god ever again.
-
Right.
-
The only sacrifice, the best sacrifice that we can give
-
to him, is the sacrifice of our hearts a man.
-
Because Jesus Christ has done it, he is sufficient for
-
our centification. He is the perfect lamb of God that
-
was slain John one twenty nine. This is John the Baptist,
-
John the Baptist. The next day, John saw Jesus coming
-
toward him and said, behold the lamb of God who
-
takes away the sin of the world. Amen. This is
-
what Jesus did for us next life. The cross took
-
his breath away. His death took your sins away. This
-
is what Jesus Christ did for you and me. The
-
cross took his breath away, his death took your sins away.
-
Now I want to clarify his statement. I don't don't
-
get me wrong. The Cross didn't take the life of
-
Jesus away, because the Bible says that Christ gave up
-
his life. No one or nothing can take the life
-
of Jesus from him because he's God. Right, it's impossible
-
Christ gave his life up. Okay, So don' don't get
-
me wrong with this statement. Just take care as it is.
-
The cross took his breath away, his death took your
-
sins away, Amen, grazalon. Jesus is the God, is the
-
greatest of all time. Number one, because he is God,
-
he himself is God. Number two. All stands for obedience.
-
Jesus had perfect obedience to the other than none of
-
us can ever dispute obedience that brought him all the
-
way to the cross though he was gone. He did
-
not do his own will, but he did the will
-
or the Father, perfect obedience even till death. Let's all
-
turn to Philippines, chapter two, verse five. Philippians chapter two,
-
verse five, Are you right? Okay? Philips chapter two, verse
-
five to eleven says, let this mind be in you,
-
which was also in Christ. Jesus, who being in the
-
form of God, did not consider robbery to be equal
-
with God, but made himself of no reputation, taking the
-
form of a bond servant, and coming in the likeness
-
of men, and being found in appearance as a man.
-
He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death,
-
even death of the cross. Two times say as a emphasism. Therefore,
-
God or Sos has highly exhorted him and given him
-
the name which is above every name. That at the
-
name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those in heaven,
-
and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
-
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
-
Lord to the glory of God, the Father a man.
-
He was obedient even till the death on the cross,
-
and he finished the work on the cross. And so
-
you and I we can see the obedience of Jesus
-
as an example. He is the greatest of them all right.
-
And you know when again back to the story of
-
the disciples, when disciples asked Jesus school is the greatest,
-
Jesus had a very different definition of greatness. Right. He talks.
-
He talks about those of you who want to be
-
the greatest, let him be a servant. And he says,
-
just as a son of man, did not come to
-
be serf, but to serve and to give his life
-
as a n some for many. So past again this code.
-
He says, when men reached for a title, Jesus reached
-
for a tower. When men reached for a title, Jesus
-
reached for a tower. Jesus took on a posture of servanthood.
-
I hope you got what the tower means. Right. He'd
-
girded himself. He knelt down to wash the disciples feet.
-
So he was serving the disciples, you know. And in fact,
-
he says, no one who is greater the one who
-
sits on the table or the one who serves. Obviously
-
the one who sits on the table.
-
Right.
-
But Jesus says, even I. Jesus says, even I. I
-
came to serve, not to be serf. So Jesus took
-
on a posture of a servanthood. He didn't come to
-
be served, but to serve. Think about it, if Jesus
-
came just to be selved, he would probably be an
-
earthly king, because the time in the time, and he's there.
-
They're waiting for a king to save them by an
-
earthly king. Right, and if He just came to be served.
-
He will probably be in an earthly king, but instead
-
he came as a servant king. How amazing. Jesus is
-
a man. He is the good, the greatest of all times.
-
So all stands for obedience. Let me move on. A
-
A stands for all. Because Jesus is God, he is
-
all powerful, he is all knowing, and he is all present.
-
The three words for that is omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence.
-
Very big words. Okay. Omni is all okay, So what
-
does that mean for us today? Because Jesus is God,
-
he is all powerful, all powerful is as simple as this.
-
God is in full control of himself, not only of himself,
-
but also of his creation. He's in full control. Bible
-
says he does anything that he pieces right, and whatever
-
he pissues, he does it. It happens. You know. God
-
can create something out of nothing, you know. And the
-
earth was created just by his voice, just by by
-
by his breath, you know. And God can create something
-
or nothing. He's all powerful. Nothing should be impossible, Nothing
-
is impossible for him, you know that sort of Bible says,
-
all things are possible. We've God. He's all powerful. Second
-
thing is he's all knowing. I told you earlier that
-
you know even though it's all knowing, he does not
-
remember our scenes. That's how amazing God is. That's how
-
amazing he is. So first John three twenty says, for
-
if our heart condemned us, God is greater than our
-
heart and knows all things. Amen. So when Jesus walked
-
on the earth, right, you will read many, many, many times,
-
countless times where people had bad intentions or bad thoughts
-
about Jesus, and Jesus would already know in advance before
-
you know, right. So he's all knowing. He knew, he
-
knows what's in is in their hearts, he knows what's
-
in their minds, he knows before it even happens. So
-
Jesus is God. He is all knowing. Toot one is
-
because Jesus God, he is also all present. Now, when
-
Jesus walked the face of the earth, he took on
-
the he took on flesh. Right, So I understand when
-
he was on earth he was limited by his physical presence.
-
He was only at one place at the time, right,
-
But you and I would know that now he's back
-
in heaven with a Father seated at the right hand.
-
Because of that, Jesus is all present. In fact, he
-
is here with us today right now. It don't seem physically,
-
but he's here his presence, he's here with us. I man,
-
he is all present. And then it's what we celebrate
-
in Christmas right. One of the words we like you
-
use in Christmas is in man or you know what
-
I mean, in manor amen in mano means God with us.
-
We celebrate their doing Christmas right when Jesus comes down
-
as a baby and in the form of a flesh,
-
in the form of a human, of a man. And
-
that's why we say a man or God with us. Friends.
-
God is never too far from us. A man. He
-
knows all our needs. He's present with us. And because
-
he knows all our needs and it's all powerful, he's
-
able to supply every need that you and I have.
-
A man, hallelujah, let me give you four more other goats,
-
g O a t He is a God over all trouble,
-
God over all temptations, God over all things, God over
-
all times, all, not some, not many, not half, but all.
-
So I want to say to you, someone will here,
-
maybe having some stuggle some trouble in our life, some tribulation.
-
Did you know the Bible? What he tells us that
-
we'll go to it, it's already been forth sight. It's
-
not saying that because if recently I sat down one
-
of my colleagues, one of my colleague actually uh, together
-
me and my boss. My boss is a Christian, uh,
-
and we began to share about about about Jesus, about
-
end times with his brother, and very interestingly, right, he
-
told us that you know the reason why he doesn't believe,
-
it is because every time you want to believe, right,
-
something terrible will happened in his life. Every time he
-
read Bible right, the next day, something something bad happens
-
to him. There He's like, can, cannot, cannot, So we
-
cont encourage him. The reason why something bad is happening
-
is because the devil knows. He knows that's something great,
-
something amazing is what happened. That's why the enemy is attacking. Right,
-
But how do me ever know that God is over
-
all chrouble, over all chubble. So it's very very cute
-
this this guy right here, he had a simple testimony
-
not believe, right, very close to believing, not believe yet
-
and we had this project. He was doing the project.
-
Long story shot, he was he needed to move some
-
some material. Uh and and and our lobby is supposed
-
to the driver was supposed to come and deliver the
-
matival right, but the midnight chop m this Lord overslept. Okay,
-
chop emma overslapped. And so he's like, after that, he
-
wanted to go and he isn't shopping mall. He wanted
-
to get those pushing carts just flies to move some material.
-
And he searched the whole mall, right, he couldn't find
-
a single cart. He's like, how impossible is it to
-
find all in a in the mall? Every other time
-
can find but that time the night the day before
-
we shared with him about Jesus. The next day he
-
had this problem. So he was sharing me, well, every
-
time I want to I want to start to believe, right,
-
I seem to have some challenges. And then he shared
-
with another guy who's of another faith, and the guy said, yeah, yeah,
-
it's because you need to increase your favor, that's why.
-
And so then he thought about it. True, then he said, Lord,
-
if you are real, if you want me to know,
-
you reveal yourself to me. In half an hour. The
-
lawyer I woke up and call him, Hey, I'm coming
-
on the way. Shop me and I the night. So
-
he said that, He said that the testimony of me.
-
When you really have to know, no, I say said,
-
I told you better believe because God is speaking to you.
-
God over all trouble. Some of us here may have
-
struggle tribulations in our life. Friends, look unto Jesus because
-
he is a God over all trouble. Say good Amen.
-
John sixteen thirty three says, I have told you these
-
things always. I have told you. I have told you
-
these things so that in me you may have peace.
-
Remember what I said, peace for the present. Salvation is
-
peace for the present. In this world you will have trouble.
-
But take heart I have overcome the world, and so
-
I hang on to this promise every single time go
-
to a struggle a trouble, I said, Lord, these two
-
were passed because you are the God of world all trouble,
-
and you are fully in control. Remember all powerful means
-
he's fully in control. Nothing can stand against him. All
-
things are possible with him. Amen. Second one is God
-
over all temptation. Are you in a place of addiction.
-
Are you in a place of temptation? Are you in
-
a place that you're trying to break a bad habit? Friends,
-
Jesus is the answer, because he is a god over
-
all temptation. Why do I say that, because if you
-
read the scripture you will know that Jesus was tempted.
-
In the Bible, you can readly. I think in the
-
book of Matthew, when he was led into the wilderness,
-
he fasted and prayed for forty days, and after that
-
he was tempted by the devil by Satan. Right, what
-
was the treet temptation? The first time was braid? Right,
-
Satan said, if you turn this stone into bread, you
-
know and you can eat. And Jesus said, managed to
-
not leave from bread alone, but by every word it
-
proceeds from the mouth of God. Right. The second thing,
-
he took him off to the pinnacle of the temple,
-
and he said, for yourself down, the Lord will catch you.
-
You will let your foot be dashed on the rob
-
What was that? That was testing his pride? Right? The
-
third one, he brought him up to a higher mountain.
-
The highest mountain showed him all the kingdoms of the world,
-
and said bow and worship me, and I'll give this
-
to you. Jesus says, shall serve the Lord and him
-
on each other. You worship amen. So Jesus overcame that temptation.
-
He was tempted in three ways, the loss of the flesh,
-
the pride of life, and the loss of their eyes.
-
All three Jesus was tampted, tempted. So if you think
-
that Jesus cannot relate to you friends, I will let
-
you know. Even Jesus was tempted. Can you imagine fasting
-
and praying for forty days and after that tempted by food.
-
Sometimes the first one day is over food. The ready
-
time was you know enough day? Forty days are Yet
-
Jesus was without sin. He overcame temptation. So why don't
-
you look to him? Because he is a god over
-
all temptation. Hebrews four fifteen says, for we do not
-
have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,
-
but was in all points tempted as we are. What
-
was the next word says, yet without sin. So Jesus Christ,
-
our high priests, can sympathize with our weakness because he
-
also was tempted in all points, not some, not many,
-
but all points, tempted as we are. Yet he did
-
not sin. So if any of us are today have
-
a temptation, have an addiction that we're trying to break.
-
Maybe it's smoking, maybe it's pornography, Maybe it's gambling, Maybe
-
it's drinking or getting drunk. I don't know, whatever it is,
-
maybe it's maybe finances, is a God. Whatever temptation that
-
we have, whatever struggle we're going to friends, Jesus is
-
God over all temptation, look unto him, imen and I
-
pray you receive it by faith had because he has
-
the power to release you, the power to break every
-
chain that holds you back. No weapon form against you
-
were prosper Amen, hallelujah. The next one is God over
-
all things, God over all Things Colloss Verse a, Coloss
-
Chapter one, verse fifteen to seventeen are very earlier, says
-
he is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn
-
over all creation. For by him all things were created
-
that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible
-
and invisible, whether prones or dominions, or principalities or powers,
-
all things were created through him and for him, and
-
He is before all things, and in Him all things consisted.
-
Chame series. I don't need the same thing for the
-
worse says it. All all things, all things are created
-
to Him and for him, and He is before all things,
-
and in him all things consist. So anything else that
-
you're going to, through your ups and your downs, through
-
your valleys and your mountains, to the good times and
-
the bad times, through the times of testing, to the
-
times of testimony. God can turn every test into a testimony. Amen,
-
through your ups and downs. Remember this God is over
-
all things. I still remember the team that we have
-
for extra Was it last year or the year before?
-
Heaven rules? Was it last year? Last year? Heaven rules. Remember,
-
even though we have a team that last year doesn't
-
mean we left it behind last year and then or
-
Heaven rules last year and this year is not no right.
-
Heaven rules and he will continue the rule forevermore. Amen,
-
And they remind them, mus always be in our hearts. Amen,
-
Heaven rules. God is in control over everything. Amen. The
-
fourth things is God over all times. And that leads
-
me to my last point, the T T, which stands
-
for time. Jesus who is gone even fun sends time.
-
Let me show you what he claimed to be Revelations
-
chapter twenty two, verse twelve. Let's all turn twin Revelations
-
twenty two, verse twelve. If you then say yeah, awesome, okay,
-
relationship twenty two words, Chelf says, and behold, I'm coming quickly,
-
and my reward is with me to give to everyone
-
according to his work is Jesus. Okay, I'm the Alpha
-
and the omega, the beginning and the end, the first
-
and the last. Did you know that statement is very
-
very powerful, the beginning and the end. So alpha and
-
the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and
-
the last. Any always said there to claim that not
-
even close enough, not even close. In fact, the Bible
-
actually says that Jesus was the perfect line of God
-
slain before the foundations of the world. You know what
-
that tells us. That tells us that salvation from Jesus
-
Christ on the with his death on the cross. So
-
it was not plan B. He was plenty a all along.
-
God already knew that mankind will fall, He had already
-
prepared the perfect sacrifice even before the foundations of the world.
-
Jesus was there. He is the God over all times.
-
There is a very big criminal beginning and the end,
-
Alpha and omega, and she's an al fai omga. First,
-
I'm the Alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end,
-
the first and the last. Even Jesus transcends time. So
-
I gave you four points why he is the God.
-
Not going to write. The worship team will come up
-
when I said close, Amen, Jesus is the God. Amen,
-
the greatest of all time, the King of kings, the
-
Lord of lords, the greatest of the greatest. There is
-
none that compares to him, and that is why God
-
gave him the name of Jesus, the name which is
-
above every other name that add the name of Jesus.
-
Every need about, every time will confess he is Lord.
-
He is the greatest of all time, because he is God,
-
he had perfect obedience. He's the God of all and
-
he even finds scends time. Hallelujah. Do you believe that? Amen?
