You're listening to a message to go from axt church.
-
We hope this message will light up your dea.
-
Okay, let's now get into it, the Word of God.
-
Let me put a slide up if you don't mind XTV,
-
very very simple title. This morning, Faith creates.
-
Faith Creates.
-
The second slide will give you a little bit of
-
an introduction to why this message came about.
-
Now. I was at a meeting.
-
Not too long ago, maybe two months ago, and they
-
invited me to give them some sort of idea or
-
some sort of wisdom or direction as to the things
-
that they were struggling with. And so at day one
-
I was seated at this sort of board meeting with
-
leaders and they had like, how we have right youth
-
pastor young adults past missions past, et cetera. So I
-
got to here, one by one stand up and say,
-
this is the report for the year, and it's been
-
good but right, and they are but uh seem a
-
bit longer uh than the good stuff that has been happening.
-
And this is what they said, if I can remember correctly.
-
It was not enough leaders, uh, not enough houses to
-
have more cell groups, not enough assistance, not enough adults
-
to volunteer for youth service, familiar, not enough musicians.
-
Maybe it's not happening here in the x X is
-
very blessed, you know.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, not enough instruments, not enough I don't know,
-
there's so many, not enough stars. Okay, So the slide
-
has that question that says, what do I still lack?
-
So there was a lot of lack on that first
-
day as I was listening in a lot of lack,
-
A lot of lack.
-
Pastor, you don't understand, Uh, we are not like KL church. Uh,
-
you know.
-
I went up to Alostar and spoke to a pastor
-
who told me, Pastor Kenneth, we don't have young people
-
in our church.
-
They all go down to KL or maybe Pinang or Singapore.
-
So by the time they come to Form five, we
-
don't have we don't have camp, we don't even need
-
campus ministry, you know. And the pastor was telling me
-
this story with a sadness because he knows that I
-
am involved in youth ministry and I believe that God
-
is using us, you know, to go around the country
-
to encourage people all across. And I really am praying
-
for a reverse missions that we will start sending back
-
people to cities and states and towns. Maybe not necessarily
-
full time, but I'm praying for jobs in Alosta. I'm
-
praying for jobs in Glanton, and praying for jobs in Tregano, Bahang.
-
Another leader came up to me the idea and.
-
Said, Pastor, a lot of churches have closed down in
-
Pahang because of the lack of the second generation of leaders.
-
And he says, you'll have You're happier. You're getting all
-
our people, you know, from all the different towns and states. Ah,
-
You're very happier. You're getting thousands of people in your church.
-
But all these people are from us, you know. And
-
if they stay on in kl know, we're gonna die
-
one by one across the country.
-
This is the reality.
-
And so that's why I've retired as a senior pastor
-
of ex church, because the Lord has called me into
-
Malaysia now, so I travel quite a bit, and I
-
will travel more to minister and to encourage pastors all
-
across the country, even in Saba Sarawa, Saba Sarawah, sorry,
-
let me just be more specific, and even in Bintulu.
-
When I was speaking the other day, they told me
-
that they have seven hundred churches SIB seven hundred churches
-
in Sarawa alone, and out of the seven hundred churches,
-
maybe about five hundred and forty have got pastus. I mean,
-
you say that there are one hundred and sixty churches
-
that don't have pastes. So they're trying to train, right,
-
And they said, guess what pasta? I said, Yeah, what
-
he said? He said, we just graduated seven Bible College students.
-
He says seven is nowhere near one hundred and sixty.
-
And he's telling me that less and less people are
-
signing up a Bible school to be equipped to be pastest.
-
So actually, if you look at the total picture of Malaysia,
-
it's quite a challenging picture to look at.
-
But with God, all things are possible.
-
So I'm coming up with this thought of loaning people,
-
loaning our people back to so that people can go
-
back for a few months, or go back for six months,
-
or go back for a year, and then we connect
-
with our leaders as they go back to Glantan Tregano
-
Kada Jojo and just go and bring life and light
-
and hope. But they will not be sent alone. We
-
will connect and we will send mission teams and you know,
-
so a lot of things are on my mind to
-
see how don't just talk about the problems, don't just
-
talk about the lack be the answer, provide a solution.
-
But I know that it's going to be the work
-
of the Holy Spirit because a lot of people are
-
quite comfortable where they are, so the Holy Spirit has
-
to stir up hearts to move. And yet we must
-
also come out with a plan so that when young
-
people go back, they don't feel alone, abandoned, isolated. And
-
we don't fight with churches and their policies that has
-
gone on for ages. So when I speak to pastors now,
-
Senior pastor, I said, we can do something in the
-
name of Jesus, by the grace of God, with the
-
health of the Holy Spirit, but we must not fight
-
when it comes to doctrinate, because when I send a
-
young person back to Alosta, I said to this pastor,
-
there's not even in my message.
-
But I don't know why I'm saying. Maybe the Holy
-
Spirit is leading me to say.
-
I said, when I send someone back past her, you
-
must not say that communion is only done this way
-
and we don't speak in tongues. And I said, let's
-
not let's not make it harder for young people to
-
come back. And I know that my job, therefore, my
-
calling is to actually work with senior pastors all across
-
the country so that we can make a way for
-
the younger ones to come back with joy and with
-
you know, just a sense of like it's going to
-
be fine. And if you want to fight, let's the devil.
-
And let's not fight each other. Let's not fight denominations.
-
Let's fight demons, not the Okay, not denominations.
-
Okay.
-
So uh yeah, So I thought I thought i'd just
-
say that to you. It's a very interesting, exciting time
-
to be alive in Malaysia. God has planned great things
-
for this nation. Yes, he might seem that he's taken
-
a long time, but God is not done with Malayia.
-
If you believe, you say amen, He's just beginning. And
-
the things that God is doing with even our I
-
p G students, and and and and and fire is
-
spreading across our teacher training institutes. And I'm hearing that
-
God is beginning to Yeah to wonders, uh and Pastor Yvonne,
-
if you get to hear her testimony of what's happening
-
is amazing. And you know how when our teachers are touched,
-
they were going to our government schools and touch many students.
-
So God is on the throne, He is in control,
-
He is great, and he is just beginning to do
-
something awesome. But he just continues to call us men
-
and women to respond to him, to say, yes, Lord,
-
here I am send me. And I pray that the
-
ex church will be the example of how to be
-
generous to serve the nation. And of course I have
-
pastor friends like in sibkl Pasadaniel Hoe from DMC. We
-
are we're friends, and I haven't gotten to sit down
-
with them to share more of this dream. Twenty years
-
ago they were part of something called Dream Lasia together
-
with me. But I feel like large churches have a
-
responsibility to not just grow large, but to say God,
-
why do you give me so many young people and
-
feel a sense of responsibility for the nation and not
-
just keep them. You know, why do you need four
-
thousand young people in your church where not all can
-
serve it at the same time, Not all can be pastes,
-
not or can we worship you with me? And yet
-
I'm sure all of them have got some more to
-
give and so sometimes I think they're wasted. The talent
-
is just wasted in just one place. So we've got
-
to be generous. We've got to go like, Okay, Lord,
-
use the young people that you brought here. Let me
-
train them, let me disciple them, let me give them
-
an opportunity to uh yeah, tryout ministry. But then let
-
me also give them a bigger vision that's not just
-
in this place, but in other places that God can
-
use everybody. Okay, And so this is a good example
-
both of you, you know, going to Iskanda. I mean
-
you could have enjoyed your time here. I mean, who
-
wants to go anywhere if you're enjoying where you are.
-
But thank you for being an example, because if I
-
can multiply you guys, buy another thousand times, the need
-
will be met in Malaysia.
-
The need will be met. But you know, God, it's
-
got to do creatively.
-
I don't think he's going to do it like how
-
he used to do it full time by school three years.
-
I don't think he's going to do that. I don't
-
think I think this just just be open to what
-
the Holy Spirit is saying. The need will be met
-
by you will be met God's way.
-
Amen.
-
So is there a lack, Yes, there is a lack,
-
but faith creates, and we are called to be people
-
of faith.
-
Can I hear good?
-
Amen?
-
The next light.
-
Let's go on. So we know that Jesus turned water
-
to wine. Faith creates it does it really does create?
-
How do you create water and make it wine? Faith?
-
All right?
-
Where did you faith come from? Just Jesus himself, you think,
-
or the servants who fill the water pots with water
-
up to the brim. Yes, Jesus, you know, if he's
-
the only one that has faith, that all of us
-
are doomed. But no, he teaches us. He says to
-
the servants, fill those water pots up. Now. They could
-
have said, for what you know, the problem is wine lahalla,
-
you ask you for water?
-
You know so.
-
But they didn't have They didn't have doubt. They just
-
feel and when it reached the brim the top, it
-
turned into wine, even without Jesus praying. Do you see
-
Jesus waving his hand in the Bible, say that and
-
when they feel it to the top, he waved his hand.
-
When they feel it to the top, he said a prayer. No, no,
-
he just said do it. When they did it it
-
turned to wine.
-
Do you understand when you do it?
-
Fill your life with the word of God, and the
-
water is the word, and things happen. Faith creates five lows,
-
two fish. The young lad didn't even have a name
-
in the Bible, no name. And I believe that in
-
the days to come there will be a lot of
-
no name champions in our country. No name evangelists, no
-
name healing evangelists.
-
Are you with me?
-
No name preachers. We're not into celebrities. Went into obedience
-
a man, a whole generation of people saying, yes, Lord,
-
call me in no name.
-
Lad took his lunch.
-
Maybe it was his dinner and lunch, because there's so
-
much five loaves, two fish for a young boy could
-
have finished it all in one meal, right, I don't
-
think so. Maybe it was two meals in one. But
-
he gave it up.
-
And it fed five thousand.
-
We know that. We know in Elijah job of oil
-
been a flower. So Elijah said to the widow. The
-
widows just.
-
Told him, if you read this scripture.
-
She just told him, I'm gonna bake my last few
-
cakes and me and my son, I gotta survive on
-
this and then we die. She just told him that.
-
And you know what, Elijah says, Bake me some first,
-
make me some first. What kind of a pasta it is?
-
She just told you why I have enough only for
-
my son and I And then you say, please give
-
me one or two cakes first. The word is first,
-
you know, because God is always first first, not you
-
eat first and give me the remnant. The prophet asked
-
for the food first. God is first, mm first love.
-
And then he said, right after that, you will find
-
that your jar of oil and your bin of flour
-
will never run dry.
-
Faith creates, It.
-
Creates something out of nothing. That's why God said to
-
us live by faith, walk by faith. He knows the
-
way we are going to overcome the lack in our lives.
-
Not the world's way, not the university's way. Here Jesus way.
-
The widow in the Elisha, okay, last bit of oil,
-
she said, she said to him, the last bit of oil.
-
You know what he said to her, Go and borrow
-
as many vessels or jars or bottles that you can, right,
-
remember that one, and then fill up the bottles with oil,
-
with a little bit of oil. And as she poured
-
a little bit of oil into every bottle. It never finished,
-
you know when the oil stopped. The oil stopped when
-
the vessels stopped. But think about this woman, the widow
-
who had to knock on her neighbor's door, excuse me,
-
you have any empty bottles? Any empty bottles?
-
Yeah?
-
Sure, two, three maybe? Yeah? Four or five?
-
Maybe?
-
Do you have any more? And then maybe she was
-
asked a question, why you need so many here? And
-
what was her answer? What's your answer where you don't
-
know what in the world you're doing except obeying? As
-
she was collecting her hard anybody say you collected five
-
for me? You need some more?
-
Yeah?
-
Yeah, I'm supposed to collect as many. But why why
-
was she able to say? Because I'm going to fill
-
them all with oil? So she told her sons to
-
help her. They went out borrow, and then it said normal,
-
so she paused, and then the miracle happens. Faith creates, creates,
-
it creates.
-
And another side truth you need to know about this,
-
that is that the anointing stops when the vessels stops,
-
meaning that when you stop serving the Lord, the anointing stops.
-
So God is every day looking for vessels, even here
-
in exe money. Will you serve me? Will you be
-
a vessel for me, because as long as there's vessels,
-
there's oil. The oil stopped when the vessels.
-
Stop, So don't stop.
-
I'm in my fifties now, my wife as well, and
-
we don't even not even in our nightmare, do we
-
think of stopping you with me, Because that's how the
-
anointing continues to flow flow, all right, Abraham, Isaac, Wow, Abraham,
-
to look at the sky and count the stars. If
-
you're able to number them, so will the number be
-
of your descendants. But he didn't even have a son.
-
And when he had a son, God said, give him
-
to me. Faith creates one son, stars in the sky. Amen,
-
praise the Lord. Let's go into the next slide. Faith
-
without without faith, it is impossible to please God. So
-
let's begin our faith journey or our faith lesson from
-
this slide.
-
Why faith faster? Why faith?
-
Well, besides, faith creates, let's let's begin. Let's back up
-
a little bit more. Faith really pleases God. It really does.
-
And there's no other portions of Bible that is clearer
-
of how God is to be pleased, no other scripture
-
found from Genesis to Revelation.
-
That is so clear.
-
What pleases God is faith, and all of us in
-
this room live to please God, don't we. The way
-
I put it is this, I just want to put
-
a smile on Father God's face in everything I do.
-
When I sat there to give offering this Now, Father,
-
you smiling on me when line as we let me worship,
-
and I stood there and I took a video. You know,
-
I have to be reminded, hey, just take a short
-
video because you forget.
-
You're not here to take videos.
-
You're here to worship because you want to put a
-
smile on Papa's face when you're dressing up for church.
-
It's not for you, right, it's not for you. It's
-
not for my mother. I want to put a smile
-
on Papa's face when I dress up. Everything is for
-
the Lord. Everything. When you your younger ones here who
-
are not married yet, find a girlfriend, boyfriend, yeah, you're
-
can be blessed to have a relationship, but you do
-
it to put a smile on Papa's face. I had
-
to pray tree in a half years for Passa Sandra.
-
You know I liked her already, and the Lord says
-
you are not allowed to say you like her. You
-
are to see me and talk to me about it first.
-
So I said, okay, Lord, could I have Sandra? He says,
-
keep praying? Could I have Sandra? Is she the one
-
for me? Keep praying? Finish my law degree. Thought that
-
was the time to do it. No, keep putting her
-
on the altar, because at the end of the day,
-
God knows the best for you, and you just want
-
to do it his way, not the world's way. Oh,
-
my friends said, I just like, just tell her you
-
like her, labal la. Don't be so stupid, you know.
-
And you go like, no, it's not stupidity, it's just submission.
-
And then we got married. And I got married without
-
any money, and the Lord provided. You know, I remember
-
that I wanted to save up for my wedding. The
-
Lord says to me, I gave you the woman. I'll
-
give you the money to marry her too. And I said, Lord,
-
shouldn't be you be saving up, you know? He says, yeah,
-
the world does it.
-
Like that way.
-
But you can seek me for the date. The date
-
comes from me, Kenneth Chin, it doesn't come from you.
-
I mean, the date also pleases you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
-
a lot of people find their own date. No, no,
-
and then lead their mother. Father said, one, I can't
-
marry because it's a lot of goals going around. Yeah,
-
a lot of goals going around. I just I'm just
-
interested in the holy gooes. I want to please you God.
-
I don't want to go and I don't want to
-
mess around with the things of the world. And then
-
you know, Oh, Father, God says, why do you choose
-
that date, Kenneth? Is it my date or is it
-
your day? Well, God, I was scared to do it
-
in August. My mom said, don't do it in August September.
-
I want to please you God. Faith. Faith pleases God.
-
Faith pleases God.
-
Let's move on to the next slide.
-
Faith is the substance of things, hope forl So let's
-
go deep enough. Why do we want to have faith
-
in our lives? Because it pleases It puts a smile
-
on Daddy God's face. Oh hallelujah. Live like that every day.
-
I'm telling you right now, you will prosper, You will
-
be happy. You will only be happy here on earth.
-
You will have a home in heaven that you can't
-
wait to see God, because if you can make him smile.
-
Now, what do you think.
-
When you it will be when you are there up there,
-
you'll probably see him continuously smiling. But let's move deeper. Faith.
-
What is faith? So why do we have faith? Please God?
-
Now?
-
What is faith is a substance of things, hope for
-
the evidence of things not seen. What does that mean?
-
So when you have faith, you must have hope, because
-
faith without hope is not complete. You must have hope.
-
So you hope for this venue. You hope for more souls,
-
You hope for a companion, you hope for someone's healing.
-
Now it's a substance. So when you are believing God,
-
for example, for financial blessing, your faith is not well,
-
it's hope. But it's not just hope. It's substance. When
-
you pull out a note for example, it's not just talk.
-
This is called substance. Faith is just talk. A lot
-
of people don't understand that. It's not even just prayer,
-
because faith without works is you guys had faith from
-
this place, but you know how I knew you had faith.
-
You turned up to set this place up because you
-
knew that God was going to come through for you.
-
It's substance. When it was the next when was the
-
last substance? That could be held that you brought to
-
the Lord in relation to your.
-
Hope with me.
-
I had hopeful Passana to be my wife, but my
-
faith was to wait and to pray and to obey
-
the Lord. Now, like next line says the evidence of
-
things not seen. Okay, so you want something it's not seen,
-
but yet the Bible says, is evidence of things not seen.
-
And let me explain it to you this way. Not
-
seen meaning that you haven't seen it. You haven't seen
-
what you hope for. But someone else has seen the
-
evidence of your faith. You know who is that God?
-
So when he says evidence of things not seen, it
-
means that the young boy, for example, who gave up
-
his five flows and two fish, they haven't seen the
-
five thousands people fed yet, but God saw the boys
-
five lows and two fish. So we haven't seen, true,
-
but God has seen.
-
And I'm going to ask you a question right now.
-
What has God seen in your life in the last
-
twenty four hours that will cause him to move? What
-
has he seen? You put forward first before you see.
-
So it's very important in faith that God sees first
-
before we see.
-
Everybody.
-
Okay, this is very important. Okay, I'm gonna talk more
-
about it. I'm gonna share some stories so that you understand,
-
but I want to lay down the foundation next slide,
-
please for we walk by faith. So faith is a walk.
-
Faith is something that you need to begin to put
-
feet to. Okay, it's not just talk. Is walk and
-
sometimes we say walk the talk. So it's about living.
-
It's a living faith. It's a faith that you can
-
take with you wherever you walk into your school, your university,
-
your family, your marriage, your office, your business. Walk. It's
-
a walk. Now, there's another scripture in relations very clearly
-
stated that now that we live with the spirit, also
-
walk with the spirit. You know why the Bible even
-
have to say, because many of us can be living.
-
With somebody and not walking with somebody. Those of you are.
-
Parents here, you will know a teenager can stay in
-
the houser in his room for twelve twenty four hours
-
without coming down for breakfast, without coming down for lunch,
-
without coming down for dinner, without seeing you saying hi, nothing,
-
good morning, good night.
-
Nothing.
-
Yes, the teenager lives with you, but doesn't walk with you.
-
Are you always do with me? And the Holy Spirit
-
could be living in us. Are but we are not
-
walking with him. So it's very important. And Christians you
-
can do this too. I realize it's very easy to do.
-
Oh I'm a Christian. Oh I have Jesus in my heart.
-
Oh I have the Holy Spirit. But are you walking
-
with Him in your relationships, in your finances, in your decisions?
-
Are your stay with me? There is walk.
-
It is a walk. Somebody say, walk is your life,
-
is your journey. It is God wanting to walk with you.
-
So walk with the Holy Spirit, not just live with him?
-
All right, don't.
-
Live by side? Oh I see therefore no, no, no,
-
we already said faith is something you cannot see, but
-
God can see because there's something before you see that
-
He sees that you have put forward in faith and
-
in obedience. Okay, next flight, So then faith comes. So
-
now you need to know. Say, oh I want to walk.
-
I want every day. I want to walk now, Okay,
-
in every decision wherever I go, I want to walk
-
by faith. But how does it come? How does it come?
-
How does it even come?
-
It comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
-
And the word is not logos. The word is Ramma.
-
So for those of you who don't understand this. When
-
the word of God speaks about the Word of God.
-
The word is defined in two forms and two ways.
-
One it's called the lawgs and the logos is the
-
written word sometimes called scripture because scripture is written, is there.
-
For you for all to read the Bible that you
-
hold written word.
-
But the rama is the spoken word or the now word.
-
The rama word is the real time word. Give you
-
an example. I could be sharing the same sentences and
-
words with you now, everybody getting the same, everybody get
-
in the same, but all of you go home with
-
something different, so logos, but you go home with Ramma,
-
and every one of you need to change or at
-
least respond to the rama that came from the logos.
-
Because the Raalma is never going to be in conflict
-
with the logos.
-
It's always going to be one with the logos. But
-
it's alive, it's now. God's word is living and powerful,
-
sharper than any you understand. So you and I need
-
to abide by the Ramma. You know that word that
-
says Jesus says, if you abide in me and my
-
words abide in you.
-
You know that word word is rama, that.
-
Means he wants your He wants his rather his Rama,
-
to abide in you.
-
So as you're walking, you're walking in ramma, not just logos.
-
Logos is very powerful. In fact, do you understand that
-
Matthew four fours also ramma not logos. What does Matthew
-
four four say? It is written man shall not live
-
by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out
-
of the mouth of God.
-
By every word Ramma that God is speaking says.
-
You're walking into your company in the morning, Yes, you
-
already had the logos in your quiet time. The logo
-
says love your neighbor, for example. But as you're walking
-
into your office, the Lord says, say good morning to
-
your boss. That's ramma, buy some fruits for your colleagues.
-
I lunch for the person that's working really hard at night. Uh,
-
and that doesn't doesn't have time.
-
Where I said lunch acually should be dinner.
-
But you know, by dinner for for that person because
-
working very hard, but someone cares, someone loves. And then
-
enter the opportunity to share the gospel one day, why
-
you always buy dinner for me because you're working so
-
hard but nobody cares. I care, Grandma, what is God
-
asking you to do now, Abide in that word, walk
-
in that word. Hear that word now, because faith comes
-
when you hear God say to you. Forgive your mom. Yeah,
-
but she was unreasonable last night. She told me I'm
-
really married. No, and she told me why you didn't
-
come back, you know, for soup. Bought soup for you.
-
You know, thank you, Mama, But you know I'm married, right,
-
I mean, I mean it's kinda you should know that
-
I cannot come back every night for soup. Don't forgive
-
her because she loves you and that's why she made
-
soup for you.
-
She might be a.
-
Reasonable but she's mom. Right, So you know, think like
-
the randma now and you and you do it because
-
you want to please. You want to put a smile
-
on his face. Well done, son, I know it was hard,
-
but well done done. Right. You want to hear well done,
-
my good and faithful servant. Next one, Now that you
-
know how it comes, now you need to know what
-
to do with it. What do you do with faith?
-
So let's recognize that faith is a seed. If you
-
have faith as a mustard seed, So don't worry about mustard.
-
The word mustard just means he's very small. Very very small.
-
Have you ever seen mustard seed? I first saw master
-
seat when I was in Israel many years ago, thirty
-
years ago, and they said, this is mustard seed. My
-
word is so small. But don't worry about mustard. It
-
could be a dude and seed. As long as you
-
know it's a seed, it's a seed. How have you
-
know that seat is not good in your hands, it's
-
not good in your pocket, it's not good in your wallet.
-
It's not good.
-
You know you said, O pass, I can, I can.
-
I can break guitar very well. You know, the whole
-
family says, I can blak it up. But you don't
-
want to play for church. You know why you keep
-
the guitar seat in your pants or in your pocket,
-
right in your I don't know. Right with me, It's
-
like I can play drugs, I can't sing. I can
-
share that the money you keep it right. That's why
-
I love it when people go for missions. It's so
-
and then they reap because the Bible says, if you show,
-
you will reap, and you will reap according to how you.
-
So, and and and and and and.
-
We don't get into that situation where by we become
-
like that that that servant that hit his talent in
-
the ground. Always say, Okay, what seats have got given you?
-
What talents?
-
Time?
-
Honey, what has he given you? Because when you have faith,
-
you will take that seed and sow it. Because unless
-
a seed falls to the ground and dies, it will
-
he will he will reap nothing, He will have no
-
power at all. I don't care if you have a
-
thousand seeds in a bag. So what I'd rather you
-
sow one seed and reap a tree, and from the
-
tree reap a bunch of trees, and from a bunch
-
of trees.
-
Reap a forest.
-
For God, don't please don't carry into heaven or not
-
your big bag of seats. Oh God, you gave me
-
so many seeds.
-
Thank you.
-
Now here you go take it back. It's like, don't
-
you understand why I have put you on earth for?
-
Did you not have faith enough?
-
Faith is a seat? Somebody say amen, and you will
-
say to mountains. Yeah, all of you in this room
-
are mountain movers. All your mountain movers. In Jesus' name.
-
Mountains are to be removed, especially mountains in your lives.
-
That's stop you from being all that you can be
-
in God, Yeah, there are men to be there to
-
be moved, but only faith moves him. Okay, nothing will
-
be impossible for you. Turn your neighbors and nothing will
-
be impossible for you. Come on, believe it with all
-
your heart.
-
What is your lack?
-
What is your trouble? What is your problem? I'm saying
-
to you right now, and I'll give you stories, okay,
-
to encourage you before we close and go for lunch. Yeah,
-
I'm still on lunch. Let's look at it next light
-
for whatever man's souls he will read. We know that.
-
A yah, we know that.
-
You know that what you don't do, Ah, come on,
-
twenty twenty five is coming. Yes, round the corner. You
-
wanted to be just like twenty twenty four. No, even
-
if you had a good twenty twenty four, you still
-
want you better. Right, come on, please, don't waste another
-
year of your life.
-
Do something we planted ex Germany. You know that right.
-
Oldest missionaries were sent out so far. Gird is sixty
-
seven going on sixty eight, Doris is sixty four or
-
sixty five, and yet they seem so young in their hearts.
-
Because I'll tell you what that if you keep doing this,
-
are so so so you will be young, you will
-
keep your youth. So you are young, but yet you're
-
already old because you're like, oh, nothing to live for. Ah,
-
you're only twenty two, but you know you might still
-
be eighty two, you know, and even eighty two or
-
so is more alive than you.
-
Come on, and man, no, I'm not talking to ex one.
-
I'm not.
-
I mean, I'm talking over your heads into another church
-
down there, down the value there.
-
I don't know where. It's not just down the value,
-
but anyway, I don't know. Examining.
-
I know you guys are rocking, you know, but twenty
-
twenty five, how many have you? I can believe for
-
better days, brighter days. I'm believing with all my heart.
-
I'm really believing for Malaysia, you know, Lasia. I'm speaking
-
into Malaysia now, speaking into this nation because this nation
-
belongs to Jesus. I'm telling you right now, he made it,
-
He formed it.
-
Everyone. Okay, all right? Is there another slide? And I
-
think this is one of the last ones.
-
He says here. So one he gave five talents to another,
-
two to another, one to each according to his own ability,
-
and immediately he went on a journey that he who
-
had received the five talents, who went and traded with them.
-
You know this scripture the five two and one talents
-
in the original is written in business language, so a
-
businessman that reads this will know that trading means do
-
business with it. And in all businesses are everyone who's
-
in business wants to prosper multiply. So you're supposed to
-
take the five and trade with all five. Some of
-
you in this room are maybe you have five, but
-
you're only using three. If you have five and you
-
use only three and don't think you're going to use
-
the two anytime soon, then you are as bad as
-
a guy who hit the one, because now it works
-
you you're hiding two five. God give you trade all five.
-
That's why something's God gives us more time in life.
-
They go like, hey, why am I sixty? Why am
-
I seventy? Actually the Bible says three score and ten,
-
so you should only end up at seventy. You know what,
-
somebody gives you eighty?
-
I tell you why.
-
I know. One of the reasons why is because you
-
have you haven't used yet. There is something about you
-
or you didn't even know. God kept you alive so
-
that you don't go back to heaven saying, oh do
-
you know? And God has to open up and you know,
-
it's like your life is going to be like glass
-
now and he's going to be able to see right,
-
it's transparent, like you know, He says, the even the
-
floor would be transparent, so our lives would be transparent.
-
Before the law, we all of us have to be
-
given account. And God says, what's that?
-
Uh?
-
What look? God?
-
That one that's a seed? No, right here, I can
-
see it. Uh that one I didn't even know it
-
was there.
-
Not there's that. There's another one here? Do you know? Ah? God,
-
someone I thought I did everything for you. Lord.
-
You know why because at fifty five you retired and
-
play golf, so you didn't pay attention.
-
At sixty you retired and the gardening.
-
You know what I'm saying, gardey is good, it's very
-
very But what was the word therapeutic?
-
Yeah?
-
Yeah, yeah, But the reason why if you're just only
-
doing that in your retirement age, you can't support the
-
other part because you're not tested. And so at sixty
-
someone told you to go emissions and maybe when you
-
wed omissions that you would have found that he didn't
-
see it, but you didn't. Man, you want to do
-
your gardening, you want to sleep, dom bother me. I'm
-
so old ready, Hello, You're all for a reason, as
-
in like you got life still on earth for a reason.
-
So every test turns into a testimony. But we've refused
-
to be tested because a lot of us are creatures
-
of habit and comfort. Fifty two years old at one time.
-
Remember I told you I had to start X got
-
the company. People are saying, pass the ken. You're fifty two, eady,
-
all right, about three years ago?
-
Fifty two ready? Huh?
-
Someone a trant judge that accident? All right, leave it
-
to the younger ones. That's what we do. Leave it
-
to the younger ones. You know what you say that
-
you sound like the older ones that you never wanted
-
to become with me.
-
Please, don't grow all on you want to grow grow
-
over a pretty okay, don't grow all in that you got.
-
As the Lord leads you older, he challenges you in
-
things that you've never done before. At fifty two, I
-
was still carrying instruments. But I tell you what, something
-
was developed with me I got. I never knew it
-
was there. I never knew I had it in me.
-
So this message for both younger and older here, amen,
-
don't hide your talent. Okay, he's going to come back
-
and he's going to take account. All right, Praise the Lord.
-
Let's now talk about some stories. Let me start with
-
some Bible stories. Some more Bible stories. Here we go.
-
You know, when Jesus asked the man with a willed
-
hand to stretch out his hand, I'm so sorry. I
-
shouldn't be laughing because this man had a problem right
-
in his hand was probably with it. And really, I
-
know none of us should be laughing about this, but
-
just thinking about it for will, just just humor me
-
for a Okay, I mean, Jesus is finally coming to
-
his town. I don't know how long your hand has
-
been with it. I don't know how long this particular
-
potential in your life.
-
Has been stifled. I don't know how long your dreams
-
were dormant.
-
But then he says, as he sees you stretch out
-
your hand, Listen, brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen. If
-
the people who are standing around Jesus, they go like,
-
why is he so cruel? Why is he so not
-
politically correct?
-
Stretch out your hand or.
-
And he stretches out the very thing that he never
-
thought could stretch up, and it grows because faith creates.
-
He asked for a blind man to go and wash
-
in the pool of sea. Lom Oh, Lord Jesus, I
-
wonder some people couldn't understand you. He's blinder, really right?
-
Heal him loud the spot. Please don't ask him to
-
do anything else. Please, like blinder?
-
Really you?
-
Why are you all at that one? Next church, the
-
young did you see? Ask them to go and plant church?
-
No money, you see? Ask them to give what's going on?
-
Next church? Give him a break line? Blind war, you
-
want to be healed. Let's go and wash in the
-
pool of love. Where's that?
-
I don't care where he washed? He didn't say I
-
don't care, But you know.
-
Faith is a substance of things. Hope for substance.
-
When he was walking, it was substance. He was not
-
play play, he was not pretend. The evidence of things
-
not seen. Yeah, he didn't see it, but God saw
-
him walk to the pure pool of se loam because
-
he wanted his healing. Can somebody please help me? I
-
don't even know where had to go? Where it's the
-
pool of se loam.
-
Let the blind man walk.
-
Maybe when the blind man actually started walking to the
-
pool of se loam, he already saw.
-
In his spirit.
-
He asked Peter to launch out into the deep and
-
let down the nets for a catch. Lord. We toil
-
all all night and caught nothing. And before I want
-
to say anything else that I'm the fisherman, you are
-
the carpenter. Are you teaching a fisherman how to fish?
-
Go and launch out into the deep, let down your
-
nest for cash. All right, I'll do it, even though
-
I caught nothing the whole night, and as a fisherman,
-
this is not the right time to go out. But nevertheless,
-
at your word, how does faith come? Faith comes by
-
hearing and hearing the word. It wasn't just logos, It
-
was a rammer God. Now he can't even pull the
-
fish in. The nets were breaking, the boats were thinking,
-
Are you also with me? Faith creed? Silver and gold
-
have I none?
-
No?
-
Nowe is Peter's turned out to follow off to Jesus.
-
Looks at the man laying from birth. Peter said, silver
-
and gold have I none? But what I have I
-
give to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
-
rise up and walk. Huh, a lame man, riser and walk. Yeah,
-
you know, he's falling off. To Jesus, I'm going to
-
do the same thing as it was done to me.
-
And I you know, many many, many, many, many, many,
-
many generations later, you find a Kenist China who is
-
asked to start ex Church with three people. And where
-
we are, of course is by the grace of God.
-
But I'm going to be teaching you the same thing
-
I was taught by the Holy Spirit, and all the
-
way back to how Peter was taught. And it's the same.
-
It might be modernized a lot. You don't even recognize me,
-
not even in Jerusalem. But faith still remains faith. The
-
word of God still remains the Word of God. And
-
I want to tell you right now before I close,
-
faith creates.
-
Maybe just two.
-
Stories, because I was already told that there was only
-
a few minutes left.
-
Two quick stories.
-
So I remember one time when ex Church was growing
-
and we were three hundred people. Okay, we went from
-
three people to three hundred, by the grace of God,
-
thanks be to God, Glory to Him. Three hundred people.
-
But for one year we didn't grow, and so I
-
was really really upset. I said, Lord, how can in
-
that time? You know, I think I was very radical
-
in this thought. How can people are dying every day
-
going to a christless eternity and this church not even
-
grown one percent? Three hundred in January and then three
-
hundred still in December.
-
I was really upset.
-
I said, Lord, how can we go on every single
-
day when people are dying and we are not growing?
-
Cannot Lord cannot? I said that? No, I said that,
-
I remember so passionate. Cannot.
-
Lord, you know what a lot to me, Kenneth. You
-
really want the schach to grow? I said yes, please, Lord.
-
Then he said to me give up the twelve thousand
-
ringit support that you're getting from the Dato. I said, Lord,
-
in my mind, I didn't say it with my mouth.
-
I didn't there.
-
I said, Lord, I was asking you about numbers growing.
-
Why are you going to touch the money for I
-
think that's two different things, right, Lot? And the Lord
-
is saying, here my voice, I'm about to teach you something.
-
So I tell you this Christian nice men and uh
-
I believed in the vision of a Ya and even
-
ex church, and he gave me twelve thousand doing it
-
every month, and with that money I was able to
-
pay for bills and pay for salaries. He said, give
-
it up.
-
How big is the church? Three hundred?
-
But all young people, all young people know, three hundred
-
young people. You know what that means, right, no money
-
because young young people. Okay, you know it's tough. All right,
-
even the young people here. All right, you get your
-
allowance or whatever, you get that. I mean the young adults.
-
We'll be getting more money now, our pace got but
-
the young people. It's students by the middle of the
-
man they no money. And you right, and then Maggie
-
me and all that start coming in. Uh and then fasting,
-
you know, for for non spiritual reasons, just have to spas. Yeah,
-
we understand that food ministry is always a big ministry
-
for campus students. Yeah, yeah, we know that.
-
Amen.
-
Praise God.
-
Uh So.
-
And I'm I'm thankful that even our young adults now
-
are blessing the students, you know, from time to time.
-
Very very good. Uh So. Anyway, I I.
-
Finally got the guts to write an email to the
-
detO and I wrote, you know, I tell you I
-
edit it. I wish for chech gipt those days, but
-
don't I didn't have and and and uh anyway, I
-
don't use church gipt very much. So but I had
-
to write. I had to write like che Gipt. I
-
had to be very very good with my words. I
-
didn't want to make him feel angry. So I finished
-
the letter to finish the email in two weeks. I
-
do too. It's almost I writing the t season because
-
I was going to write to this dotal friend of
-
mine and said, uh, you can stop giving the twelve thousand.
-
I tell you what you really have to belie that
-
God spoke to you not to do that, because people salary,
-
I stay and bills and the Lord every day gave
-
me peace.
-
I'm with you, I'm with you, I'm with you. This
-
is me.
-
So I remember two weeks to write that letter to
-
make sure that it sounded as good as as clear
-
as possible. I didn't hate him, I didn't hate his money.
-
I just wanted to obey the lot. Anyway, to me,
-
two weeks to write it took me two days to
-
press the button. Said, because after I was very happy
-
with you, just to send it me as a case closer.
-
You know that done deal. So I send it, he
-
read it. He called me.
-
He called me and scolded me on the phone for
-
half an hour. Do you think my money that is it?
-
No? No?
-
No? So finally, then why you know God hasn't spoken
-
to me? In my mind was things saying, if God
-
hasn't poken to you, please call do you give? But
-
but but but as for me, I must tell you
-
that you know you know what it does it because
-
you must be faithful with what God told you. So
-
if you say, please that thought, stop giving, and then
-
so you have done your part, God's please with you
-
now because you've done your part. And if he says
-
I didn't receive anything, keep giving. Brains got a bad
-
So both both of us do our parlor. Okay, anyway,
-
that's that's real. But also side jo and anyway, he said,
-
is it?
-
Is it so God told you?
-
Is it?
-
Yes?
-
We'll see if God told you not put on the
-
phone challenge you know, So I have to put on
-
the phone.
-
Raise slowly.
-
But I'll tell you my house beating so fast because
-
I said, Lord, please, are you better than you better
-
have told me? Okay, I guess I'm so. The twelve
-
thousand stopped that man Elder King came into my room.
-
He's a pastor.
-
Have you done it? Because the account of the night, have
-
you done it? Say?
-
I just did it? And both of us are look
-
at each other and we had tears coming out of
-
our eyes. You know, elderk here, don't cry easily. No,
-
don't crazy one even have high at text. So good
-
was they didn't cry? No, But this is why he cried,
-
because how in the world in two weeks time are
-
we going to pay the bill?
-
And so I learned him he know at me, and
-
he said, let's trust a lot.
-
Towards the end of the month, Elder Kre comes into
-
my same room, looks at me as you passed, Kenneth,
-
I just want to let you know what. I just
-
counted the offering for the month, and we have thirteen
-
thousand ring it extra in the offering. Thirteen thousand ring
-
it extra, all right, praise God, you can give up
-
a client offering. So we cry again. By this time
-
right around, it's not cry. So you're like, oh Lord,
-
you you know, you know, And and right now God knows,
-
he knows every need in this room, He knows what
-
you're going through. He knows he knows.
-
The next one elder kre comes into my room.
-
Is it passer? There's twenty six thousand ring it extra.
-
And then the next man passed, there's thirty thousand ring extra.
-
I say, where's his money coming from? See, I don't know, pastor,
-
but I just heard that some one of our young
-
mookie adults just had a promotion salary and he's given
-
his salary as a thanksgiving to the Lord. Another young
-
adult had a bonus. So you know, when the pastor
-
or the leader or the head of the family obeys
-
a lotter, the rest get is blessed them.
-
The rest get bless them. Tank you right now.
-
And we grew from three hundred people to six hundred
-
people in six months. Three hundred more people came to
-
the church in just six months. That God doubled it.
-
Because it's not about just money or it's faith.
-
It's faith.
-
And one last story about growth is this EXCTA communing
-
now is two plus years old. By next March is
-
three years old. Okay, we've grown for fourteen people to
-
now one hundred and eighty. Praise God, right, Glory to God.
-
Every week new people coming here.
-
Every new people come in prison or prison.
-
But there's one time, about nine weeks or so, no
-
newcomers every week, no newcomers every week. So by the
-
second week that week, I'm looking at the scoller. We
-
call it the weekly scorel like, oh you know evenly
-
way we look. We support our best football teams, are
-
we always look at the score right Liverpool all right?
-
Being well Noliverpool, yeah, praise yeah so so yeah, so
-
I look at the score. Oh, no newcomer, no new
-
com and new comer. So I was very busy, so
-
I didn't really bother. But then by the six seven week,
-
no newcomers. So I asked a lot, said Lord, why
-
even my leaders, I think to be I don't know
-
what's happening. There will always be a lack run in
-
our lives that we can't understand why or how to
-
get out of this.
-
And for us it was alt, what's happening?
-
So I asked the Lord, and this is my last story,
-
and now close and now we'll pray.
-
So I said, Lord, what's happening? Seventh week?
-
Aredea, no newcomers getting on into the eighth week. And
-
so I remember walking to church like this. I walked
-
Samuel right into the church and then there was the
-
welcome table right here. So I walked in and the
-
Holy Spirit stopped me, Kenneth, you want to answer, look
-
at the welcome table. So I look at the workome table,
-
and I couldn't see anything wrong with you know, I
-
could see. I said, it looks very nice, actually, and
-
he says, look harder, closer, And then he dawned on me.
-
There was one will come back, one newcomers card, one pen,
-
one new believers packed, And then all said to me, Kenneth,
-
do you know that all these were laid out.
-
Ah to make sure that the table looks nice. And
-
for sure.
-
Your people have come to a place where by they
-
don't believe that it's going to be any new people
-
coming today. Because if you put out five, you have
-
to pack five. It's all packing involved. You see. Now,
-
I've been part of just Pudding for a long time.
-
I know what it means. I know about carrying instruments.
-
I know all this.
-
So I have since seven weeks iday nobody came. Yeah,
-
you know, and you need to realize how some sometimes
-
not sometimes most times, attitudes, especially attitudes that can't be seen,
-
are the very attitudes that got answers. Sometimes we are
-
praying one way, but attitude say another way. God can
-
see attitude. Do you understand when the Bible says that
-
God sees in secret and answers, so all the external
-
that you're all you can see, he doesn't see that.
-
He sees secret stuff, and he answers according to secret stuff.
-
So if you really believe, are you better believe from
-
the inside out because he will always The Bible says,
-
verake clearly, he sees in secret and will reward you openly.
-
So I know how God works on whenever I go anywhere,
-
if I'm jealous about somebody, I'll saye hear I'm not
-
jealous inside. He sees, he answers according to that anger.
-
You're not angry outside, but you're angry inside. He sees
-
the secret. God doesn't see that all of you see.
-
He sees the secret because God looks at the heart
-
as men look at the outer appearance. So make sure
-
if you want to be consistent, be consistent inside out,
-
because He will always see what man cannot see and
-
answer according to that. So I knew the problem. I
-
went into church and it was prayer time. Now pre
-
service preyer pre service a pre worship preyp I came
-
up and I knew the Holy speak told me m
-
rama work came. I said, ushes can you do me
-
a favor? God just spoke to me. Can you carry
-
that welcome table to the altar? Get the head of
-
our ushes is at Ward puts you won the table
-
to the altar, said yeah, it's prayer time. We better
-
pray for this.
-
Okay, I want to show you something.
-
So that they brought in. It was quite lightly because
-
so little things on the table. So they finally prey
-
on the table and I preached to them for three minutes.
-
I said, people, this is work, God told me all right,
-
and they all felt it because we can come to
-
a place where whereby we actually.
-
Want more people will come, but we don't believe they
-
will come.
-
And so we repented and we prayed Lord from today onwards.
-
And then Edward said, pass we bring more backs. You
-
bring according to what the Lord's telling you. So we
-
brought five backs, five backs, five welcome cards or that
-
he brought. So we're praying for the table or at
-
the althar. I said, okay, now done, but actually I'm
-
not praying for the table. I'm praying for your hearts.
-
This is as a visual so to carry a table,
-
put it back up there that Sunday itself. Five new
-
comers that Sunday itself.
-
They all learned something.
-
And Edward now says Pastor, even when you don't call
-
it for the come to the author. We are, we
-
are all. All the ashes are going around and were
-
surround the table. Every Sunday we pray because it begins there.
-
Do we believe?
