  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So it's for me.

  4. John Chapter one, verse twenty nine to thirty four. John one,

  5. verse twenty nine to thirty four. If you're there, say yeah, okay,

  6. not many of you yet, so let's all turn our

  7. bibles if you can. John Chapter one, verse twenty nine.

  8. So it says, yeah, thanks for cool. So he says

  9. the next day, John saw Jesus. This John is John

  10. the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him, and say, behold

  11. the lamb of God, who takes away the sin of

  12. the world. This is he of whom I said, after

  13. me comes a man who is preferred before me, for

  14. he was before me. I did not know him, but

  15. that he should be revealed to Israel. Therefore I came

  16. baptizing with water, and John bare witness, saying, I saw

  17. the Spirit descending from heaven like a nerve, and he

  18. remained upon him him captat Jesus. I did not know him,

  19. But he who sent me to baptizing water, said to

  20. me upon whom you see the spirit descending and remaining

  21. on him, This is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit,

  22. and I have seen and testified that this is the

  23. Son of God, the Lord bless the reading of his word.

  24. Amen.

  25. So my first point to you today is half derve's eyes.

  26. Okay.

  27. I'll come back to the scripture in a little while. Okay, well,

  28. let me begin. Let me continue on first. My first

  29. point to you is this half nerve's eyes. They are

  30. not distracted. So one thing I learned about nerves is

  31. that they have very unique eyes.

  32. Okay.

  33. Of course, nerves and pigeons are similar, but yet different. Okay,

  34. if you actually go and read about it, they are

  35. from the same family. Actually, Okay, nerves and pigeons are

  36. from the exact same family by species that are the same. However,

  37. even though they're the same, they're very different in character

  38. and in nature.

  39. Okay.

  40. Unlike pigeons. Pigeons have very wide vision. Okay, they can

  41. almost see three sixty Okay, But nerves, on the other hand, cannot.

  42. Nerves have binocular vision. Okay, you should know that binocular vision.

  43. It's very very small, very sharp. Why neverw Okay, nerves

  44. can only focus at one thing at one time.

  45. Okay.

  46. Their eyes have no distraction, and this is also why

  47. nerves are called love birds because they can lock eyes

  48. with their maid and.

  49. That's all they see.

  50. So Jesus says in his song to his bribe that

  51. she has nerve eyes.

  52. Okay.

  53. This is found in the Song of Solomon's Song of Solomon. Yes, okay,

  54. if you read the Song of Solomon, you know. And

  55. of course is King King Solomon writing uh to his lover,

  56. of course, and of course that that that the church

  57. is the bride, is the bride of Christ.

  58. Right.

  59. And so some of Solomon's for verse one says, behold

  60. you are fair, my love. Behold you are fair. You

  61. have nerve's eyes behind your veil. So if you read

  62. some of Solomon, you will find that many many, many

  63. times we occurring, you will see the word dearth. Okay,

  64. it appears many many times.

  65. Okay.

  66. And so my point is this have dirve's eyes because

  67. they are not distracted, unlike the pigeons. And so even

  68. as we walk into this brand new year of twenty

  69. twenty five, I want to encourage us to focus our

  70. eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,

  71. so that we will not be distracted by the things

  72. of the world. Because pigeons are very easily distracted. Okay, again,

  73. as I told you, same species, but ready for Okay.

  74. Pigeons can tolerate noise. They are they're reckless, you know,

  75. they are very feisty. But doves they are frightened by

  76. noise okay, uh and even sudden movement. So let me

  77. let me just share a quick story. I read this online.

  78. Uh you know of someone how he explained this. And

  79. so this Cindy yuh once had a had had a

  80. bird okay, and let's just call it a parrot for now.

  81. Okay.

  82. And she has a parrot bird and it's in the

  83. house and it flies everywhere he wants to go. And

  84. they they love to have the parrot to sit on

  85. the shoulder, okay. And they would teach the parrot how

  86. to talk and whatnot in the house. And so the

  87. parrot would just fly freely in the house, but it

  88. would never go out.

  89. Okay, it's within the house.

  90. Of course, this family was too scared that the parrot

  91. would fly out one day. And so one day this

  92. family had a gathering in the house and they had

  93. a party and Cindy was carrying, uh, you know, let's say,

  94. a tray of food out of the house to surf

  95. in the party. She didn't realize that the bird was

  96. on her shoulder, and so she carried this uh a

  97. tray of food out and then she went out. The

  98. father noticed the bird and signaled to her that be

  99. careful because the bird is on you. It's not supposed

  100. to be out of the house, so to be in

  101. the house. So she she didn't realize, and so she

  102. gently and quietly put the tray of food down, turned

  103. around and walked gently and slowly back into the house.

  104. And every action that she did was she.

  105. Had in mind the bird there was on her shoulder

  106. until she got back into the house and closed the door.

  107. So where am I getting with that? You see?

  108. The question to us is that what kind of bird

  109. do we have on our shoulder today?

  110. Is it a pigeon or is it a dove?

  111. That's the first thing we ask ourselves whether are we

  112. the kind rebbi were distracted with all kinds of things

  113. like how the pigeon is, or like the derth, which

  114. is very gentle, very loving, and he's very focused. And

  115. the other thing is this because when Jesus came out

  116. after being baptized by John, the Baptists and the derth,

  117. which symbolizes the Holy Spirit said on Jesus, and the

  118. Bible says that he remained on him, right, And that's

  119. how John said, John declared, he's the son of God.

  120. Of course, you and I know that Jesus didn't walk

  121. around with the bird on top of his.

  122. Shoulder like that. Okay, uh is the holy space within him? Right?

  123. But you get the idea, Okay, the bird remain on

  124. him of course, in the Holy Spirit in him right.

  125. And so the question for us today is this, are

  126. we even aware about the presence of the Holy Spirit

  127. with us? Are we even aware if the bird on

  128. our shoulder is a derth?

  129. Right?

  130. Just that's how I told you the story of this

  131. girl Cindy, who when she realized that the bird was

  132. on her, every action that she did was mind keeping

  133. mind of the bird. So the question you and I have,

  134. I mean, the question for you and I today is

  135. are we aware about the presence of the Holy Spirit?

  136. Because if we are aware, everything that we do we

  137. were aligned to the Holy Spirit. Amen, And we would

  138. not want to start a lead, right, you don't want

  139. to scare.

  140. The bird away?

  141. Of course, the Holy Spirit is not scared away. He's

  142. living within us. But the Bible says that we can

  143. grieve the Holy Spirit. Did you know that? So we

  144. don't want to give the Holy Spirit. We want the

  145. Holy Spirit to be living in us, and we want

  146. to align to him. Another difference between the pigeon and

  147. the dirve is that the pigeon can easily adapt to anyone,

  148. unlike the dearth.

  149. The derth you have to adjust to the dearth. That's

  150. the difference.

  151. And so I want to encourage us even as we

  152. take on this year or twenty twenty five, may we

  153. adjust our lives with the awareness that the Holy Spirit

  154. is living within us.

  155. Amen.

  156. So Galatians five, verse sixteen to twenty three says, I say,

  157. then walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill

  158. the loss of the flesh, for the flesh lust against

  159. the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh. And these

  160. are contrary to one another, so that you do not

  161. do the things that you wish. But if you are

  162. led by the spirit, you are not under the law.

  163. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultry, fortification, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies,

  164. outbursts of wrap, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, baveries,

  165. and the like. This are all works of the flesh, Okay,

  166. of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also

  167. told you in time past that those who practice such

  168. things will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. Now listen

  169. to this. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,

  170. long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulnes gentleness, self control. Against such

  171. there is no law.

  172. Amen.

  173. And so my encouragement to you and I today, even

  174. as we start year twenty twenty five, for the first

  175. Sunday of year twenty twenty five, may you and I

  176. walk in the spirit, Amen, And we will not fulfill

  177. the loss of the flesh. Just as how I get

  178. you the analogy. Maybe be aware that the Holy Spirit

  179. is living within us, and we want to adjust our

  180. lives to what the Holy Spirit wants us to do.

  181. Amen.

  182. Another verse for you look eleven to retreat it. Thirty

  183. six says no one when he has slit a lamb,

  184. puts it in a secret place or under a basket.

  185. But on a lamb stand that those who come in

  186. may see the light. The lamb of the body is

  187. the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole

  188. body is also full of light. But when your eye

  189. is bad, your body is also full of darkness. Therefore,

  190. take heat that the light which is in you is

  191. not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light,

  192. having no part dark, the whole body you will be

  193. full of light, as when the bright shining of the

  194. light of a lamb gives you light.

  195. Now, why do I share this first with you?

  196. Because as I started off by saying, have dirved eyes?

  197. Did you know that our eyes are actually the gateway

  198. or the window to our soul? Because what goes into

  199. your mind, what goes into the spirit, what goes into

  200. your heart. It's what you see, right, And so if

  201. you don't God what we see or what we hear,

  202. or what we do right, it will affect what goes

  203. into our hearts. So even as we start to entering five, okay,

  204. let me just share you why why I'm sharing this

  205. Because as I was preparing on a message right, I

  206. was home in my wife's hometown in Kuching. Her sister

  207. got married and so I was there and as I

  208. was preparing for the message, I just I just prayed

  209. one one night, asked Lord, uh, you know, can you

  210. just just reveal yourself to me, or reveal what is

  211. the word you want me to share with the church

  212. this morning? And funny enough, I say, funny, I will

  213. show you funny enough. I one of the one of

  214. the night, one of the nights. I had a nightmare, right,

  215. I have a nightmare, so in the dream basically, and

  216. I seldom have dreams at night, seldom, okay uh. And

  217. when I woke up, right, I realized that I forgot

  218. the dream. So I'm like, okay, So I was. I

  219. was praying short the day, short the day. I was

  220. trying to reflect and asked, Lord, what was the dream

  221. that I had the night? Because if it's something important,

  222. you have me to remember it, because maybe there's something

  223. important that you know in the dream. And true enough,

  224. I forgot it completely right and dead morning, when I

  225. opened my Bible to do my quiet time, the Bible

  226. verse that came to me was fear not I have

  227. you know a take heart. You know in this world

  228. you have many tribulations or trials, you know, but take heart,

  229. I have overcome the world. That's what Jesus said, so

  230. I realized right that it was a lot reminding me

  231. to remind all o us here today you and I

  232. do not fear, even do not fear, but trusting the Lord.

  233. And so why am I sharing this with you? Because

  234. I said, our eyes is a gateway right to our soul.

  235. Dead night, when I was sitting in the hall, I

  236. was just doing my own things on my phone. I

  237. think I was replying messages and my brother and law

  238. happened to walk into the hall and he opened a movie. Okay,

  239. I was sitting there already. He came in and he

  240. opened a movie.

  241. Of course. The name of the movie was Quick Game. Okay,

  242. And if you.

  243. Know me enough, I never watched this guy in movies, never, okay,

  244. And so he was here opened the movie. I just

  245. happened to be sitting there, right, and I was just

  246. scrolling my my phone. And as the movie was going,

  247. I think there was a trailer and I looked up

  248. to the screen for only about ten seconds, and then

  249. there was a glory scene, right. And because of that

  250. that night, I had a nightmare. So I have a

  251. question for you. Do you think dreams all dreams that

  252. we have come from the Lord, or is it just

  253. in our own subconscious mind.

  254. Tough question.

  255. Now, may I suggest to you it's a combination of both.

  256. The question is what do you feed your mind with?

  257. What do you feed your subconsciousness with?

  258. Right?

  259. Because if you can purify your subconscious thinking, if you

  260. can purify your heart, your soul, and your mind, then

  261. the Lord can use those dreams for his glory.

  262. Amen.

  263. So that is why that night when I woke up,

  264. I couldn't I couldn't remember the dream at all. That's

  265. how I realized that the dream was not important. It

  266. was about knowing that what you feed your mind really

  267. will reflect in your day. And so let me give

  268. you a very particular tap this year, Okay, very practiclar tip.

  269. Don't watch hour movie. Come on, friends, what is the

  270. what is what good thing can come out?

  271. Horlor movie? Come on? Nothing?

  272. You know, I never I never ever watched how movie

  273. horrord movies, Okay, because you know, and you feed your mind,

  274. you know it's rubbish.

  275. Uh.

  276. You know what, how how do you think they come

  277. up with those movies.

  278. It's because they have some form of manifestations with the spirits, right,

  279. and that's how they come up with those movies. Right,

  280. And I friends last time who love to watch it

  281. because they love being scared. So I'm like, if you

  282. love being scared, no need to go to the cinema.

  283. I can help you with that, you know. So it's

  284. very practicular. So I never, I never, almost never ever

  285. watched horror movies.

  286. Never, you know.

  287. And it's very very practical because what you feed, what

  288. you feed your eyes goes into your soul and it reflects.

  289. And so that's why many of us today are very

  290. scared of the of the evil spirits, very scared of

  291. dark places because of the things we watch, the things

  292. we feed our mind and our heart and our soul with.

  293. Do not fear, fens, do not fear.

  294. I always reminded, you know, not to fear of evil spirits,

  295. although they are there, they're present. Did you know that

  296. they are more angels than demons? Yes, there are, Okay,

  297. only one third of angels follow Lucifer when when when

  298. the Four came? So they're more angels than demons actually,

  299. So don't be afraid.

  300. So I encourage you.

  301. If it can change how we see things, then we

  302. can change what we will see. If we can change

  303. how we see things, we can change what we see

  304. so despite of whatever situation that you're going through, it

  305. depends on how you look at the situation. If you

  306. look at it and you say, poor me, I'm in

  307. a very bad situation. I wish I was the person

  308. next door, and so that's that's how you reflect in

  309. the situation. But if you look at a bead situation

  310. and say, Lord, there's the reason why this has happened.

  311. I ask for wisdom, ask for a strength, guide me,

  312. you know, and every obstacle there's an opportunity.

  313. Amen.

  314. Every testing can be turned into a testimony. So if

  315. you can change how we see things, we can change

  316. what we will see.

  317. Twenty five.

  318. Come on, let's change what we see so that you

  319. will reflect on what we say and what we do. Amen,

  320. So this now past can alluded to it. You know,

  321. what is our priority this year? What are you feeling

  322. a time with? Are you just feeling your time with

  323. doing things that are that are off this world? You know,

  324. I really believe that there's a time for everything. You know,

  325. But the question is what are you feeling your time with?

  326. What is your life? Is your private in life just

  327. doing the things of the world, or are we searching

  328. after the Lord in our hearts. Amen, I hope you're

  329. catching something all right. So that's my first point. Have

  330. therve eyes because they are not distracted. They can really

  331. lock it in. They're very focused. They can focus on

  332. their mate or their partner so called they called love birds,

  333. and so their eyes are amazing binocular vision. Lock in

  334. maybe or fix our eyes on Jesus.

  335. Amen.

  336. Second point is, have therl feathers. They are white and pure.

  337. They are white and pure. So of course thirls might

  338. have different colors, of course, but most of the time

  339. when we associate theirs, we always associate to the white ones. Okay,

  340. because they are the most fitty ones. Okay, So have

  341. the feathers. They're white and pure. How many of you

  342. know that Christs have cleansed us by his factious blood.

  343. If you don't all that, I pray you know today

  344. Jesus Christ, when he went to the cross, he died

  345. on the cross to wash us clean of all of

  346. the scenes that we have ever done, that we are

  347. doing today and whatever do past, present future. I share

  348. that I think some weeks back, so Christ has paid

  349. for the ultimate price for our saints. He has washed

  350. us clean, washed us clean as white as snow in

  351. the subscription the Bible that talks about you know, our

  352. scenes are like scarlet, scarlet, rad but He washes us clean,

  353. white as snow.

  354. Amen.

  355. And so here this thing. Power without purity is corruption.

  356. Power without purity is corruption. And today it's why today

  357. in a lot of our society or in our governments

  358. around the world, you find it. That's a lot of corruption.

  359. Why they have power but not purity. That's dangerous. You know,

  360. that's called corruption, power without purity, and they do really,

  361. really bad stuff. I just realized how how corrupt the

  362. US is today. I was there many many years ago

  363. when I was a student. I went there for u uh,

  364. you know what you call it? Work in travel. USA

  365. is different from today. Okay, it's totally corrupted today. Purity

  366. without power is innocence. Purity without power is innocence. But

  367. here is power. With purity, you get Holy Spirit movement.

  368. Hallelujah.

  369. Power with purity, you get Holy Spirit movement. So let

  370. me say, let me say a few more things about

  371. about doves.

  372. Matthew ten.

  373. Verse sixteen says, Okay, let me, let's alturn to it.

  374. I'm going to read this whole portion. Matthew ten verse sixteen. Okay,

  375. let me just read a couple of verses. Behold, I

  376. send you out as sheep in the midst of in

  377. the midst of rules. Therefore, be wise as serpents and

  378. harmless as deirths. But beware of men, for they will

  379. deliver you up to counselors and scort you in the synagogues.

  380. You will be brought before governors and kings for my sake,

  381. as a testimony to them and to the gentiles.

  382. But when they deliver you up, do not worry.

  383. About how or what you should speak, for it will

  384. be given to you in that hour what you should speak.

  385. Listen to this, for it is not you who speak,

  386. but the spirit of your Father.

  387. Who speaks in you. Amen.

  388. And so this verse reminds us therefore, be wise as

  389. serpents and harmless as doves.

  390. That's the NKHV version.

  391. There's another version, and I would that it says, be

  392. innocent as doves, innocent as doves. And so this is

  393. the principle that my boss, who is a Christian, we

  394. practice in our work a lot, and if you're in

  395. a working world, this principle is very important. Be wise

  396. as serpent and innocent as a dove, because if you're

  397. not wise. Uh, let me put it this way. Innocence

  398. is not an excuse.

  399. Okay.

  400. Of course there are times that we can say we

  401. didn't know, right, that's innocent, I didn't know about it.

  402. But believe me, in the working world, if you only

  403. have innocence but not wisdom, uh, you will be crushed

  404. in the working world. Okay, it's very competitive and so

  405. in in in the company that I work in, my

  406. my boss is a Christian and we actually apply a

  407. lot of public principles in our work.

  408. You know.

  409. We can go into a project or a particular uh

  410. you know, tender or whatever it is, and even as

  411. you weigh all the pros and cons, we realize that

  412. something is not right, and my boss will say, we

  413. rather not take it, you know, because you want to

  414. be wise, you know, be wise as serpent, innocent as

  415. a dirve. And so I want to encourage you if

  416. you are in that kind of season like me as well,

  417. maybe your work has been tough. I want to encourage

  418. you be wise as a serpent, innocent as a dirve,

  419. so that so that they will not be able to

  420. catch you in the sense that whatever you do is clean,

  421. and it's right before the Lord, and so as as

  422. so my company. Because we are believers, we would never

  423. take or give a bribe.

  424. Never.

  425. In fact, we have given up many, many, many projects

  426. because of that reason. And we'll go back to the

  427. drawing table and we'll say it's all right. There's a

  428. reason for everything. The Lord is a provider. We will

  429. not do what's against our principle, and so we will

  430. say no to it. And sometimes people laugh at us. No,

  431. actually they do. But I'd rather them laugh at us

  432. than for us to disobey the Lord. So be wise, serpent,

  433. innocent as a dove. Another thing about being white and

  434. pure about the derves is that they are feathers are

  435. so smooth right that it can easily slide off if

  436. you put something on them. And so here's my point.

  437. In twenty twenty five, let us all refuse to be offended.

  438. Come on, twenty twenty five. Let us refuse to be

  439. offended and let all the offenses slide off our back.

  440. Can we do that?

  441. Come on, church, can we do that? Let us refuse

  442. to be offended. Oftentimes people don't always mean what they say.

  443. I realized that sometimes when people say terrible things, it's

  444. actually a reflection of what they have gone through or

  445. how they have been treated. And so I always I

  446. leave by this principle. If I it's best not to assume,

  447. it's best not to assume anything. But even if I

  448. had to assume, I always assume the best of people,

  449. always the best, not the worst, but the best of people.

  450. And so twenty twenty five, even as we take on

  451. this new year, let us make it a choice to

  452. refuse to be offended and yet choose to forgive those

  453. who offenders. A man, to refuse to be offended is

  454. a choice. Choosing to forgive is not an option. Did

  455. you know that it's compulsibly because the Bible does tell

  456. us that if we do not forgive about us and sisters,

  457. even our father in heaven, we'll not forgive us. It's

  458. very serious. So I pray that even as we walk

  459. into as we step into a brand new year of

  460. twenty twenty five, if you have left any offenses in

  461. twenty twenty four, maybe maybe you've offended someone, quickly go

  462. and ask for forgiveness. Or maybe someone has offended you,

  463. I pray that you will also forgive them. A man,

  464. don't bring your baggages from twenty twenty four into twenty

  465. twenty five. So let me repeat myself twenty twenty five,

  466. Let's refuse to be offended and let's choose to forgive

  467. one another this year, maybe be a community that loves

  468. each other more?

  469. Can we do that?

  470. Can we be a community that love each other more?

  471. And love God more? Don't focus on the differences, focus

  472. on what brings us together. The differences is what makes

  473. it fun and exciting. But let us focus on our

  474. common unity, which is Christ.

  475. Amen.

  476. Let us do all things with purity and sincerity of

  477. hearts as unto the Lord.

  478. Amen.

  479. Okay, my last point, my third and final point for

  480. today is this half derve's feet, one feed backward and

  481. three forward. Can you see in a photo the feed

  482. has one toe behind and three in fun So as

  483. a principle, we can learn from this. Your setback is

  484. a setup for a comeback. If it's not good, then

  485. it's not over yet. So I'll encourage you this year.

  486. Maybe you may say that, look, twenty twenty four has

  487. been challenging, twenty two and four has been tough. You know,

  488. maybe we have nothing to look forward twenty twenty five

  489. I pray that you will be encouraged and that you

  490. will look forward to twenty twenty five, and not to

  491. shy away from the challenges in life, because the challenges

  492. that we go to in life are just natural. All

  493. of us will go to it. In fact, a Bible

  494. already prophesized it. Right, You and I will go to

  495. trials and tribulations. The important thing is to realize that

  496. who is with us? Amen, It's important to realize that

  497. who is with us. That's why I gave you the

  498. energy of having the derve sitting on on your shoulder.

  499. Right.

  500. Made this year every made a lot, turn every testing

  501. into a testimony. This year made a lot, turn every

  502. obstacle into an opportunity. Do not shy away from obstacles

  503. in life, because destinies are often discovered in the presence

  504. of fire, not in the absence of it. Did you

  505. hear that destiny is often discovered in the presence of fire,

  506. not in the absence of it.

  507. And so.

  508. I could I could, you know, spend some time to

  509. share you the many challenges that I've gone through by

  510. time one permit. But one thing I've learned is that

  511. in every of those challenges, those tough times, the Lord

  512. is always glorified because as I go to it, I

  513. told you earlier. It's how you look at it, right,

  514. It's the perspective that you have if you look at

  515. it as an opportunity for God to move in your life.

  516. You look at it an as a opportunity for a testimony.

  517. The Lord will take you to and you will come

  518. up victorious.

  519. Amen.

  520. So do not fear. So that's one thing I caught

  521. you know as I was preparing the message. The Lord

  522. wants to remind you and I today not to fear

  523. about the future, not to fear about twenty twenty five,

  524. because the Lord is with us. And I want to

  525. leave this scripture with you. Isaia chapter forty one, verse ten.

  526. Isaiah chapter forty one, verse ten says, fear not, for

  527. I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am

  528. your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you.

  529. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

  530. Amen.

  531. And so once again I'll say it to you. If

  532. your life has it's been challenging in twenty twenty four,

  533. look onto the Lord this year, and I really really

  534. pray that the Lord will strengthen you and will give

  535. you grace to go to this year. Remember I said

  536. it five times, five year of grace, Grace upon grace, Amen,

  537. John sixteen, verse thirty three. John sixteen thirty three says

  538. these things I have spoken to you that in me

  539. you may have peace. In the world you will have fibulation,

  540. but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.

  541. This was the exact verse that I read on the

  542. morning that I woke up after I had a nightmare.

  543. So I don't know who this word is for, but

  544. a sense that there may be people sitting here right

  545. now that you have some form of fear that is

  546. crippling you. And I want to say to you right now,

  547. the Lord's peace be upon you. Do not fear.

  548. Amen.

  549. Christ gives you the peace, not as the word gives,

  550. but only he can give you. He is the Prince

  551. of Peace. John fourteen twenty five says these things I've

  552. spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper,

  553. the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,

  554. he will teach you all things and bring to you

  555. your remembrance all things that I have said to you.

  556. Peace.

  557. I live with you. My peace I give to you

  558. not as the Word gives, do I give to you.

  559. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

  560. Amen. Can he go?

  561. Amen, come on, programs, give you all your life. Amen,

  562. hallelujah the Lord give you peace. So as I said,

  563. I don't know who I'm speaking these to, but I

  564. sense that there are people in this room. You are

  565. in that place. You are looking for peace. Either you

  566. are struggling or you have some form of fear in

  567. your life that has been holding you back. I pray

  568. for the peace of the Lord to guard your heart

  569. and your mind. To Christ Jesus and maybe all live

  570. this this year twenty twenty five being aware about the

  571. Holy Spirit, being led by the Holy Spirit, being fully

  572. aware of his presence. Going back to the same analogy,

  573. when the bird is on you, every action that you take,

  574. you're being aware that he is there, every word that

  575. you say, every movement that you make. So likewise, for

  576. you and I, when we are aware that the Holy

  577. Spirit is in us, every word that we say. We

  578. don't want to grieve the Holy Spirit. We don't want

  579. to say something is bad. We don't want to, you know,

  580. curse somebody. You don't want to say something is that

  581. that will bring a brother or sister down, you know.

  582. Instead, being aware of the.

  583. Holy Spirit, we will every action, every movement, every decision,

  584. every plan that we make. We are aware of the

  585. Holy Spirit and we want to please Him a man.

  586. So I hope that this I leave this message with

  587. you this morning. Let me recapt three things. Have dirve's eyes,

  588. they are focused and not distracted. Number two have dirve feathers.

  589. They are white and peel. This year we shall refuse

  590. to be offended and choose to forgive. And the third

  591. one is half dirve's feet. One foot back, three feet forward.

  592. Even if you had to take one step back, the

  593. Lord's gonna launch you three steps forward. If you believe it,

  594. say amen, do not fear, but have the peace of

  595. God who reguard your hearts and your minds.

  596. Amen, Harlly Lou.

  597. I'm going to invite the worship thing to come up,

  598. so I pray it. Even as we welcome the new

  599. year of twenty let us all run this race with

  600. our eyes focused towards God, our Creator, and towards the

  601. finishing line. One thing that I want to remind us

  602. is that we are not on a spring race. This

  603. walk of life that we're on, and this faith journey

  604. that we're on. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon.

  605. And so it's not about going fast, but it's about

  606. going far with the Lord and in the Lord Hebrews twelve,

  607. verse one, to do. I'm gonna close with this scripture.

  608. It says, therefore we also, since we are surrounded by

  609. so great a club of witnesses, let us lay uside

  610. every weight and the scene which so easily ensnates us,

  611. let us run with endurance the rays that is set

  612. before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of

  613. our who for the joy of the Lord, who for

  614. the joy that was set before him. And you're the

  615. cross despising the shame, and has sat down at the

  616. right hand of the throne of God. Amen, hallelujah, looking

  617. unto Jesus, the Author and furnisher of our faith. Today

  618. I spoke about the dearth, and once again I want

  619. to remind you that the dearth is a symbol of

  620. the Holy Spirit, just like the derth, food descended from

  621. Heaven and set on Jesus after the baptism. The Bible

  622. says he remain on him and of course, the Holy

  623. Spirit remain in him.

  624. The Holy Spirit is also here right now.

  625. And if you and I have accepted Jesus Christ and

  626. welcome him into our hearts, the Holy Spirit also lives

  627. in you and me. Amen, I pray that He will

  628. remain you, and that you and I will be aware

  629. about His presence, aware about his leading in our lives.

  630. Today we can take on twenty twenty five victoriously, not

  631. on our own, not on our own flesh, but by

  632. His spirit, the Bible says, not by power, nor by mind,

  633. but by my spirit, says the Lord.

  634. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
