  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Okay, yeah, so this morning, this morning the message. The

  4. title of the message is we are overcomers. Okay, we

  5. are overcomers. And the subtitle is more than conquerous. Okay.

  6. And maybe I'll just read the Word. And if you

  7. have your Bibles. I'm sure all of you should have

  8. your Bibles, whether it's a digital or physical. You can

  9. turn to Romans chapter eight and then we read the

  10. Word and then we'll take it from there. Okay. So

  11. Romans chapter eight, we're gonna read from verse thirty one

  12. till thirty nine. Okay. So he says, yeah, what then

  13. shall we say to these things? If God is for us,

  14. who can be against us? Well, such a powerful statement.

  15. If God is for us, who can be against us?

  16. He who did not spare his own son, but delivered

  17. him up for us all, how shall he not with

  18. him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring

  19. a charge against God's elect It is God who justifies.

  20. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died,

  21. And furthermore is also Risen, who is even in the

  22. right hand of God. Who also makes intercession for us.

  23. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ, shall

  24. tribulation or distress, or persecution, of famine, or nakedness or

  25. peril assort, as it is written, for your sake, we

  26. are killed all day long. We are counted as sheep

  27. for the slaughter. Yet in all these things we are

  28. more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I

  29. am persuaded. Neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,

  30. nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor

  31. height nor depth, nor any other creative thing shall be

  32. able to separate us from the Love of God, which

  33. is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And the key verse

  34. is Romans eight thirty seven. Yet in all these things

  35. we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

  36. You know, when you read this scripture, most of the

  37. time people might focus on God's love for us, that

  38. nothing can separate us from God's love. And that's true.

  39. It's a promise, you know. But for today I'm going

  40. to focus a little bit more on being more than conquerors. Right,

  41. I'll just give you a little bit of context. My

  42. first statement is this, we will have trouble in the

  43. world only pastor Steven and John Greasy me. I guess

  44. the rest of you have never experienced trouble before, right,

  45. don't have right? All you guys are good, no trouble,

  46. no problems. Everybody loves you. Right, Never get in, never

  47. get summoned before, right, okay, never go for exam before.

  48. Everybody got trouble. Right, So we have trouble in the world,

  49. and we will say we will face trouble in our lives. Correct,

  50. it's a guarantee. It's actually a guarantee. How much is

  51. it a guarantee?

  52. Well?

  53. The Bible also says it. Job fourteen one, okay, Joe

  54. forty one says men that is born of a woman.

  55. Just to clarify, when you say manna, you also cover

  56. woman na. Okay, so men that is born of so

  57. any of you here are not born of a woman?

  58. Can you raise up your hands? You're not born of

  59. a woman. Any of you here that looks like everybody

  60. everybody here is born of a woman? Right, right? What

  61. does it say man is born of a women? Is

  62. a few days? Can you turn to your right neighbor

  63. and say you have a few days here, a few days,

  64. and then turn to another neighbor, and continue to excuse

  65. you and say, and it's full of trouble, and the

  66. days will be full of trouble. Hey, it is the Bible.

  67. Say you no, no, I say you know the Bible

  68. say this though, man that is born of a woman

  69. is of a few days and full of trouble. We

  70. are going with this. I came to be encouraged. We're

  71. giving this scripture now. First fitter, four child says, beloved,

  72. start nice, first beloved, beloved, Think it not strange concerning

  73. the fiery trial, which is to try you, or so poetic,

  74. let me simplify, Think it not strange. Don't be don't

  75. don't don't be confused that there is actually problem coming

  76. for you tomorrow fire trial, fairy trial theory or such

  77. a strong word. Tomorrow, I'm gonna have fire. Guys, are

  78. you okay when you go into your office tomorrow, you're

  79. gonna have problems. Yeah, you're gonna have problems, right ah.

  80. And for those who are not working, you say every

  81. knocking tomorrow it's gonna be. They're gonna be a trouble.

  82. Think it's not strange concerning the fire trial, which is

  83. to try you, as though some strange things happened to you.

  84. Oh you know when this problem happened. Oh, maybe I'm sinning.

  85. That's why I'm going through so much problem right now. Friends,

  86. it's not because you're sinning all of a sudden, sinners.

  87. Oh you know, I didn't obey God yesterday. I didn't

  88. I didn't lift up my hands. So that's why today

  89. and I'm in an accident. I don't think that's the

  90. requirement for having problems. The Bible really said the moment

  91. you're born of women, and it looks like it covered

  92. all of us. We have a few days and it's

  93. full of trouble. Mm hmm. Interesting. Second Corinthians for eight

  94. nine says we are hot, pressed on every side, yet

  95. not crushed. We are perplexed. How many of you here

  96. have been perplexed before? The not so confusing? What is confused?

  97. Are confused? Do know what to do? You know? Don't

  98. not to do? I don't know what to do? You know,

  99. got three boys confessed to the girls. You don't know

  100. what to do. She don't know who to choose. Perplexed, right,

  101. but not in despair? Persecutor have you been persecutor before?

  102. Not your fault persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down. I

  103. think you struck now but not destroyed. Wow, so gloomy

  104. at this morning. So what does the Bible promises? Well,

  105. the Bible promises dead maybe And and you know, trouble

  106. happens to us, correct, you know? And you want to

  107. know the thing that makes it difficult? If you papersally

  108. find trouble and it happened to you, then you know

  109. what it's like you to some Tekayla right? Huh? You

  110. you you going charry passal? You know that's the term use.

  111. You went and look for trouble and you found it

  112. con not then we all understand, Ayela, you should have

  113. done that, John, Why do you do that? Right? Don't?

  114. Why do you do? Know? But do you know that

  115. sometimes you're not looking for trouble it looks for you? You

  116. know you are. You are a model citizen. You are

  117. not on your phone when you are driving. Everything's good,

  118. You follow the traffic light, you follow the sweetly minute.

  119. And then all it takes is one person out to

  120. be on the phone. Now look at TikTok have to

  121. bang into your back? Isn't that trouble? Oh? But I

  122. don't know you pay some money, but very my fun, right,

  123. I have to go to the police station, and trouble

  124. finds you, coy. It happens maybe at work. You are

  125. a model employee. You don't cherry passa anyone. You just

  126. do your work. You stay in your lane, you know.

  127. But then suddenly I don't know why, because you are

  128. such a good employeer that your colleague, right, don't like

  129. it that the boss start you more than him. And

  130. then try and find trouble and nothing to do with you. Son,

  131. You're gonna accuse of stuff that you never did. Trouble

  132. look for you maybe, and maybe I don't know what

  133. you can relate. And because this happens to me, I'm

  134. at home, not a homelant, but I'm with my family right,

  135. and I'm not doing anything. I'm happily living my life.

  136. And then suddenly I have to deal with family issues,

  137. generational family issues. Oh my goodness, there's trouble in the world.

  138. And the Bible says, don't be surprised, there's trouble. How

  139. many of you thinks got no trouble? One right, there's trouble.

  140. No baas Alvin, When I receive Christ as my personal

  141. law and savior and I'm a Christian, then everything will

  142. be perfect right, we will have abundant life, there will

  143. be no trouble. Friends, It doesn't work that way, it

  144. doesn't you know, Oh I received just then tomorrow wake up.

  145. It's zipper d duda, such a wonderful day. If you

  146. get that song. None of you watch this knee right.

  147. You know there'll be you woke out from the from

  148. the room and then suddenly there's a rainbow and then

  149. the birds are singing the air. You know, he's life.

  150. Things happen correct, Things happen right. And I think when

  151. you are old enough, or some people say you eat

  152. more salt than other people eat rice, you kind of

  153. know that there's troubler and you want me surprised when

  154. it happens. Correct, No, mental you won't me a surprised

  155. because you are expecting it. But I'm a bit curious

  156. sometimes why sometimes do you feel like why do we

  157. feel surprised when trouble happens? How many of you are

  158. understanding what I'm trying to say. But I did everything

  159. right war, but I trouble happens? Then what then? What? Friends?

  160. Just because something bad happens, it doesn't mean that you

  161. need to give up and throw in the towel. Correct,

  162. because trouble happens whether we like it or not. And

  163. of course we don't like trouble. It happens. But John

  164. sixteen Ytree says these things. I have spoken to you

  165. that in me you may have peace. In the world.

  166. You will have tribulation. We're all in the world right now,

  167. we're not We're all in the world. We will have tribulation.

  168. Tribulation is a big word. No, please go and google

  169. what tribulation means. It's not even a problem. Challenges not

  170. its tribulation. Oh, tribulation is not fun. But be of

  171. good cheer. I have overcome the world. So yes, there's trouble, friends,

  172. there is trouble. There's trouble in this life, right you know.

  173. And sometimes it's frustrating because we don't look for it,

  174. but it happens to us. There is trouble. But but

  175. but thankfully, thankfully, Jesus overcame the world. Jesus overcame the world.

  176. And because he overcame the world, there is power weediness

  177. to also overcome our challenges. And when we talk about

  178. I'm not talking about you know. Of course, some trouble

  179. you Jerry Pasawana. Yes, but even the trouble that you

  180. didn't Jerry pasawan you have power. We didn't need to

  181. overcome it. You have power. We didn't need to overcome me.

  182. But what are we overcoming? Friends? Have you thought about

  183. it before? Is it just problems? What are we all coming? Well,

  184. we're overcoming the world? What is that? Well, it's an

  185. ideology right now, if you if you look at what's online,

  186. what's happening, even when you talk to people, right, you

  187. will notice. I hope you not this, But if you

  188. don't notice, I'm kind of letting you know that. It

  189. is a fight of an idea. It's a fight of

  190. an ideology. It is a fight of a way of life.

  191. It's a way of life. If you didn't realize when

  192. you come a believer and we read the Bible, the

  193. Bible teaches you a way of life. Right, I'm sure

  194. just now when you came up here, you know during

  195. worship we have prayers or we do prayer just because

  196. it's a church. No, no, no, no, no, it's a way

  197. of life. Right. We pray for people because we believe

  198. that God heals you. Not do it for what there's

  199. no other reason why to pray except to present your

  200. supplications to the Lord so that he can answer it.

  201. Cory not. And that's what we believe, right, So it

  202. is a way of life. We believe, you know, that's

  203. why we do it. You do what you believe. So

  204. the Bible teaches us a way of life. Why do

  205. you come on a Sunday? Is it just so that

  206. you can hear people tell jokes and go back feeling good. No,

  207. it's a way of life. You grow deeper in the Word.

  208. You have fellowship with believers. Why do we worship? Oh no,

  209. it's karaoke Christian karaoke. No, we mean what we sing?

  210. I mean I don't know what song you're saying? Just now?

  211. What was the one song you sang? Just now? I

  212. better ask you know what Holy Forever? What's one statement

  213. in the song? What's the chorus say? Sorry? Your name

  214. is the Highest? Friends, you're just sing sing and don't remember?

  215. What does your name in? The Highest? Meaner? Whose name

  216. Jesus name? We live him higher? You know what the

  217. world does? The word you use it as a swear word,

  218. We live the name higher. I hope none of you

  219. use Jesus, for I swear now, because it is a

  220. mockery if you can use Jesus name as a swear

  221. and still pray to him and ask for healing. Why

  222. you don't see that. You didn't see that coming, right,

  223. you didn't see that coming. It's true, it's true. It

  224. is a way of life that we are overcoming a

  225. way of life. So the question is not there's no trouble.

  226. That's not a question. It was trouble. Will happened, whether

  227. we like it or not, whether it's we find it

  228. or not happened. But then the question is which way

  229. to be living or applying our lives. Is it God's

  230. way or is it the world's way. It balls down

  231. to that. It balls down to that because, oh, Jesus

  232. overcame the world, and he says that we can overcome

  233. the world. We can also overcome the world. We can

  234. also overcome our challenges. We can also overcome our problems.

  235. First John five four five says, for whatever is born

  236. of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory

  237. that has overcome the world. Our faith your catch that.

  238. Let me repeat it again. For whatever that is born

  239. of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory

  240. that has overcome the world our faith. Who is he

  241. who overcomes the world, But he who believes that Jesus

  242. is the son of God as clear as they for

  243. those of us here who believe that Christ is the

  244. son of God. Right, we can overcome the world. But

  245. past time, I don't understand. This's born of God things. Well,

  246. the question is are we born of God? The Bible

  247. says that when we receive Christ as our personal law

  248. and savior, we are born again. And we talk about

  249. being born again. It's not just okay, now, time to

  250. go into my mother's womb and come out again. No

  251. like some Okay, I know, God says, I'm not going

  252. to use some graphic references, right, but it is a

  253. born again in the spirit. Why born again? Why is

  254. the term born again us? You have to reset because

  255. when you're born in this world, we are born with

  256. a lot of things, born with a law of teaching,

  257. born with a love experiences, born with a lot of

  258. But when we receive Christ. That's why we say people

  259. cannot be born a Christian. You have to receive Christ

  260. for yourself because it's a transformation that happens a reset first,

  261. a reset that happens no longer. You know, we have

  262. that song when people are baptized. You know, right, I

  263. follow Jesus. No turning back right, no turning back to

  264. my old ways, no turning back to what I used

  265. to practice, no turning back to my old ideas. But

  266. I walk straight to Christ. You know how challenging it

  267. is when we always keep going back. Okay, Jesus, I

  268. like this. I take this, but I want to go

  269. back and do a few more other things that I'm

  270. used to. Friends, it is a born again. It is

  271. tough to overcome if you're not totally transformed, right, And

  272. it is a transformation transformed because our lives are transformed

  273. to Christ, Jesus. Our lives are transformed the moment we

  274. receive Christ in our life. It is there's a transformation

  275. that's happening. You know. Transformation is not like immediate one.

  276. It takets time. Transformation takes time. It does, It takes time, right,

  277. but it is happening. Let me read First John for

  278. one to four. Are you guys okay, are guys getting

  279. something out of this? I hope you are, because you

  280. know there I'll be wasting your time. First John four

  281. one four says, beloved, do not believe every spirit, but

  282. test the spirits whether they are of God, because many

  283. false prophets have gone out into the world. By this,

  284. you know the spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses

  285. that Jesus Christ has come in the fleshes of God.

  286. And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ

  287. has come in the flesh is not of God. Wow,

  288. the Bible is so clear. Every spirit that confesses that

  289. Christ is of the flesh. You know what the means.

  290. Christ came to this world, died for since. But every

  291. spirit that don't confess it Jesus real or not one,

  292. he's just a man. Lie this Jesus old school la y.

  293. It is not of God, by by way, clear right.

  294. And this is the spirit of the anti Christ, which

  295. you have heard was coming, and it's now already in

  296. the world. You are of God, little children, and have

  297. overcome them, because He who is in you is greater

  298. than he who is in the world. Friends, which is

  299. greater in your life? Christ? Or something else? Christ? Or

  300. our dreams? Christ or what we want? It's a clear

  301. cut choice. It's a clear cut choice, you know. And

  302. we are want to test the spirit, right remind say

  303. it is a challenge of ideology. The ideas that we have.

  304. Is it conflicting to the Bible. Whatever we receive, whatever

  305. we take in, whatever we believe in, is it conflicting

  306. to the Bible. Right. It's a very clear cut thing, right.

  307. And we want to test the spirits right, and we

  308. are taught to discern the fruit of the people. That's

  309. something I constantly encourage even xpj XB. You want to

  310. encourage you. You want to live a life full of

  311. abundance as God promised. Test the spirit, test yourself. Don't

  312. just listen to pass the steven. Don't just listen to me.

  313. Don't just come and take it. No, test yourself. That's

  314. the wonderful thing about being a believer. Being a believer.

  315. It's not just about following an organization or following this. No,

  316. being a believer is relationship with Christ. It is means, sir,

  317. everyone here, me and myself. I am responsible over my

  318. own faith. You know I'm not responsible over someone else's faith.

  319. You know. Well, I'm responsible as the pastor to make

  320. sure I say the right thing that's definitely true. Write

  321. those that are called to lead you got extra stressler,

  322. I will say because you say the wrong thing means

  323. you lead astray all the sheep. So that responsible I have.

  324. But concerning my faith, it is my responsibility. That also

  325. means everyone here you're responsible over your own faith. You

  326. can't just throw the now. I always imagine this. I

  327. was talking to someone I can't remember who you know.

  328. I hope you guys can receive this well. When we

  329. die and face Jesus in the jush bent throne ride,

  330. I can't look at God and go So, Elvin, why

  331. did you, you know, decide not to serve anymore? Because

  332. Pastor Steven gets on my nerves. Right, everything he do,

  333. I cannot stand right, I tell him, don't know? I

  334. give up ready. Do you think there's a valid reason? No,

  335. it's not, but sometimes we think that way. You can't

  336. know in front of God, you can't blame same same

  337. with parents. You notice when you're dealing with a child's

  338. misbehaving and the misbehaving child go and blame someone else?

  339. You think you will? Are you foolish enough to go

  340. and wat go of them? No, you will deal with

  341. the behavior. Everybody is responsible over their own actions. Corn On,

  342. This is why the Bible is teaching us so I'm

  343. encouraging you guys, please test what you see in the

  344. church outside of church. Test is it from the Lord?

  345. And don't be surprised when you practice something that it

  346. is not from the Lord. You find yourself in trouble. See,

  347. trouble will come anyway. But I think if we do

  348. things within God, we can overcome the trouble. But when

  349. we do things not within God, under whose power we overcoming?

  350. Under whose power were overcoming? Because the Bible promises us

  351. that He who is within me within you everyone here,

  352. you have the power and the potential to overcome your challenges.

  353. To overcome that difficult boss, to overcome that difficult situation,

  354. to overcome that exam, to overcome your family problems. You

  355. have the power within you to overcome all these challenges,

  356. to overcome the market, to overcome a difficult business. Hey,

  357. we believe in a God. There is a God of

  358. the impossible. No you mean it's just all lip service, No, friends, No.

  359. My encouragement to U is this, you have the power

  360. within you. So let's discern Mentel seven sixteen twenty says

  361. you will know them by their fruits. Do men gather

  362. grapes from torn bushes? Or fixed from tea cells. Let

  363. me Malaysia like this again? Okay, I did this just now?

  364. You know do people gather apples from uh cow grass

  365. and duran from no RAMUTANSI got fruit? Man? You know

  366. a tree that got no fruit run is poison ivy

  367. Wait right? If you do that, you know you sit

  368. and look at the crowd grass right and say, oh apple, apple, apple,

  369. pleas come, isn't it foolish? So? For every good tree

  370. best good fruit, but the bad tree best bad fruit.

  371. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a

  372. bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not

  373. bad fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

  374. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. So, friends,

  375. how do you discern things? How do you discern people? Fruit? Fruit? Fruit?

  376. What do they produce? Do they produce? Angry people? Then

  377. you better be your cap fol Listen to what they say.

  378. Do they produce? What do they produce? I mean that's

  379. how you discern. Look at what the person produces. The

  380. thing is it also talks about us. What am I producing?

  381. And if you know you're producing good fruit? Right, you

  382. don't have to worry about your testimony? Right? Can I

  383. be honest a little bit with you. Of course, I'm

  384. a pastor of the church and I'm a leader as well,

  385. and sometimes I have to make difficult decisions that people

  386. don't like, right, But I come to a place right,

  387. and I learned this from Pascenov. I come to a

  388. place right that I'm not worried about what people like

  389. or don't like, because I'm here to please God, not men.

  390. And wouldn't you be supporting me if you know or

  391. you're ready? I policemen all the time, right, And the

  392. thing is, I'm confident in my product or production, if

  393. you get what I mean. I'm not talking about my kids, sir, Hey,

  394. my kids still need help. But I'm talking about the

  395. people around me, the leaders around me, the people I

  396. sow into. Who are they? What do they do? What

  397. kind of people are they? Are they angry people? Are

  398. they encouraging people? Do they always complain or do they

  399. always speak life? That is what we talk about production, right.

  400. So my encouragement towards is Hey, God really teach us

  401. how to discern. So let's first have self awareness of

  402. ourself as what am I producing? Good? Question asked? But

  403. the second point is when you want to look at

  404. what to follow. Look at the fruit the person gives.

  405. Look at the fruit. Don't go blindly follow anybody just

  406. because happening. Now everybody is hanging around John, and you know,

  407. don't do that. Please, everybody does that. It's always about

  408. the gram. You know why he goes. I also want

  409. to go friends. That's not fruit. It's all surferst only, right,

  410. So look at the fruit. Does it take time, yes

  411. it does. Does it take effort, yes it does. Amen,

  412. Come let me show you a story. I hope you're

  413. convinced today that you can overcome. I don't know what

  414. problems you're facing and what challenge you're facing, but when

  415. you profess that Christ is the Lord, and when he stays,

  416. when he's living in you, whatever challenge you face, whether

  417. it's a family problem, whether it's a work problem, you

  418. can overcome. Right, you can overcome, and your life will

  419. be transformed. So I think I've been quite open about

  420. my my family situation. And right now I'm at a

  421. stage where I'm taking care of my dad, okay, and

  422. he has to go for treatment different things, and I'm

  423. sort of like the firstborner okay here, so I have

  424. to take him, take him to the hospital and all

  425. so last week I to leave to take him to

  426. the hospital. And because no insurance, everything Gama hospital are

  427. so if you're familiar with government hospital, it takes time, Lae, Okay,

  428. it's good. Can I tell you that Militia health care

  429. is good? You know why? Because after everything, right, I

  430. only paid one ring, gave fifty cents for everything. So

  431. only in Malaysia, I don't know where the other country,

  432. and only in Malasia. How throat your signals are. You

  433. can still go government and you can still pay for treatment,

  434. and you won't like you know, you won't be in

  435. a difficult situation is that you have to wait, La,

  436. You have to wait. Just that only you have to wait,

  437. you have to do with Gama works, you know. So

  438. I went, I did my my thing, you know, and

  439. and you know, taking care of ailing old person is difficult, okay.

  440. So number one is a person's not well. Number two

  441. is ailing and sometimes feel like, oh, I'm thinking care

  442. of a child sometimes. So I mean, God really told

  443. me honor my dad, So I honor uh. And it's

  444. not like very close to him and all these different things.

  445. So I did it and it was quite frustrating because

  446. I had to go here, go there, talk to this doctor,

  447. all these different things that I happen on the day,

  448. and then my dad doesn't make it any easier because

  449. he's the one. And let's just say that we spoke

  450. to a doctor and we were hoping for good news

  451. so that the treatment can be better something I want.

  452. I won't go through it into the detail, but unfortunately

  453. it was not so good news and we had to

  454. wait and two weeks and so on and so forth.

  455. So okay, and then my dad was a little bit affected.

  456. And of course prior to that, he will ask me

  457. to do things that like by days, by that, and

  458. before that he also said, you know, maybe dinner, you know, uh,

  459. he wants pizza, you know, And I'm not gonna be

  460. that sorry to like order pizza, right, but I've been

  461. I ready to leave. I spent a few hours aday

  462. and then now you're making demands. And there were one

  463. or two things that happened that made me very like

  464. not happy, la, like you know that kind of thing.

  465. And then I also retell it LA, like whyever, La,

  466. you know, uh dinner, you go set yourself lass, so cruel. No, No,

  467. I'm not cruel, just trying to share share an honort story.

  468. So I got angry, he got angry. I dropped me home.

  469. It was about four cray. I picked him up at

  470. eight o'clock. Okay, whole day really there, okay. And then

  471. on the way back, driving back to my house, half

  472. an hour drive, and I reflected to myself, my dad's

  473. not young, yes, you know, and and prior to this,

  474. and this is something my wife has identified, you know,

  475. which I thank her for it because sometimes you need

  476. someone who's not there to see what's going what's happening.

  477. And she's mentioned to me a few times I need

  478. to be nicer to my dad. And so I got off.

  479. I got off emotional damage like okay, right, So so

  480. I'm dealing with that. So the old Elvin would have

  481. just drive back angry and justified that I I was

  482. there for eight hours. I really spend money, I did

  483. everything at it, and you're still not happy, old Elvin, Okay,

  484. And I had a right. I had a right. Okay,

  485. I had a right because I did. Ma. Youre asking

  486. me for some more things, you know, all this kind

  487. of stuff, right, you know, and there's no thank you. Right,

  488. So driving back and I reflected, Number one, that's not

  489. getting any younger. Number two says Pizzara. Guys, it's not

  490. very complicated, right, So I and and and then God spoke.

  491. He said, what are you doing? And you're supposed to

  492. younize your dad and I had to, so I'm like, okay, fine.

  493. I grabbed the pizza to him for dinner, and then

  494. I just sent him and I'm him Nola. And then

  495. he texted me. He said, I've been thanks so much

  496. for everything today. So of course I'm like, I mean,

  497. I don't know how can lang Chinese? There are two

  498. words we don't say, thank you and sorry. Okay, and

  499. I've not gotten that much. And of course that at

  500. that time, I wasn't looking for that because I was

  501. at peace ready. I'm like, okay, God, deal with it.

  502. Transformation our friends, I said, transformation, God transforms your life.

  503. See my past doesn't dictate how I can. How I

  504. knew move forward. I overcame my emotions to do the

  505. right thing, but only true God, because he who is

  506. within me is greater than he who is in this world. Correct.

  507. See your scripture comes to life. So I said, he said,

  508. thank you. I'm like, okay, right. Uh and and yeah,

  509. I say that he's not young. He was also discouraged,

  510. and I'm like, maybe I could encourage you with pizza,

  511. a very small sacrifice, although it was difficult before that,

  512. Like I'm giving a child. I know you never say

  513. thank you. All these things are okay, emotion damage, but

  514. I did it. I okay, but steing my emotions and

  515. then I overcame whatever and I'm like, okay, look, I

  516. will just obey you. Right. We have the power of

  517. reading us our past. How we feel, what's the situation

  518. happening right now doesn't have to dictate how we react.

  519. You know. The thing sometimes is that just because we

  520. feel some Let me talk about that a little bit,

  521. because if the Bible tells us to discern the spirit,

  522. just because it feels good doesn't mean it's a God thing.

  523. Just because it feels good, it sounds good, it looks good,

  524. doesn't mean it's God. I say, sometimes the more important

  525. thing that we gott to ask ourselves is God, are

  526. you here? The one lesson that I've learned recently is

  527. you know, because I remain, I say, trouble will come,

  528. tribulations will come, problems will come. So shouldn't be surprice man.

  529. So then once the important thing God, when trouble comes,

  530. are you here? Show me that you're here, because I

  531. want to make sure I make decisions and move forward.

  532. We've God and not move forward without God. Keep going

  533. to the troblem, but if you go, it's there. As

  534. you go there, don't want keep going here. No, I

  535. wan't ask God, are you here? Because if God is here,

  536. even though I face trouble, I know it's for purpose.

  537. But when God's not there, then I'm looking for trouble.

  538. So it's not about the trouble, it's about it's God here.

  539. That's the question I always ask myself. Now, God, are

  540. you here? I discern? I discern God? Is your spirit here?

  541. Or am I following something else? I want to be

  542. careful right, and when God's spirit is there, there is transformation.

  543. You will do things you don't imagine you will normally

  544. do so normally I told you with my dad, I

  545. normally would just get angry and talk to my wife,

  546. com play and then that's it. Well, I still think

  547. if to the hospital, yes, would I still be do

  548. all the part that I need to do? Yes, maybe

  549. a little bit unhappier but I didn't bring peace in

  550. the situation. It had to take God speaking to me

  551. for me to do something different. Do you know? After

  552. that it affected my whole day the following day because

  553. normally when things are this happened, then I'll be a

  554. bit upset, you know, and then it you know, spirals

  555. on other things. But because that happened, I was told

  556. you at peace. In fact, this morning, I will say,

  557. my son a bit difficult to handle. So normally I

  558. would like angry, score him orever, okay, But I was like, oh,

  559. very at peace. So there I recognize something. I recognize

  560. that God is dealing with me, and He's always dealing

  561. with us. Right, But then I'm doing something that I

  562. don't normally do, be a total peace with the situation.

  563. In fact, try to help because I overcame my emotions.

  564. Just being very honest with you, guys. What is the

  565. reward for overcomers? Friends? I'm sharing that we are all

  566. overcome us here? What is the reward? Well? Revelations three,

  567. nineteen twenty one says as many as I love, I

  568. rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I

  569. stand at the door, and not if anyone hears my

  570. voice and opens the door, I will come to him

  571. and dine with him, and he with me. Friends, Jesus

  572. is knocking on your door this morning. The question is

  573. not whether he not or not. The question is are

  574. you going to open it up to him? Are you

  575. going to allow him to touch areas of our life?

  576. You don't know that you've been dealing with. It's up

  577. to us. He's knocking at the door. Hello, passa Steven. Hey,

  578. I'm gonna clean up your house. He's gonna be on

  579. You know, I'm gonna move things around. How many of

  580. you like that people move things around? Let me tell

  581. you a funny story. My grandmother her love language is service,

  582. and I think I'm a bit like that. So she

  583. will come and she will clean my room, clean my

  584. last time when I married, though, So they got a

  585. key to my house. I mean I gave my mom

  586. my grandma key. I wouldn't say this is the healthiest thing. Okay,

  587. but they ever keep to my house and they will come,

  588. and because me and my wife are working, they will

  589. come and clean everything without telling us. And I cannot

  590. find anything. And he's a frustrating. Jesus wanted to come

  591. and clean your house, friends, but don't worry. He will

  592. tell you where everything is. Wouldn't it be great if

  593. you can dine with Christ when you overcome to him.

  594. Over who overcomes, I will grant him to sit with

  595. me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat

  596. down with my father on his throne. Christ overcame quite

  597. a lot of things. Though he had been angry, he

  598. was betrayed by his closest. He could have done a

  599. lot of things, but he overcame it. And of course,

  600. in the world's eyes are he's a failure. But in

  601. God's eyes he overcame. He overcame things beyond what we expected.

  602. Revelations three five says he who overcomes shall be clothed

  603. in white garment. You know it's a symbol. White white

  604. garment means what blameless, spotless, no blemish. And I will

  605. not blot out his name from the book of Life.

  606. I find it way interesting that the Bible says that

  607. way instead of I will write your name, is like

  608. I will not blot out means that, friends, every single

  609. one of your name is already in the Book of Life.

  610. But if we don't overcome the world, you'll be canceled.

  611. You see the difference. It is not like you prove

  612. yourself I write. You know He's written ready, It is

  613. a really in the book of life. God has really

  614. accepted you, however messed up you are. But if we

  615. don't overcome, and we let the world overcome us, but

  616. I will confess his name before my Father and before

  617. he's injurls. You know what that means. Confession of our

  618. name means that no matter how much mistake you make

  619. your life, no matter how crazy things you know that

  620. you've done before, Jesus will defend you in front of

  621. God when you overcome. Revelations, treat child, says he who overcomes.

  622. I will make him a pillow in the temple of

  623. my God, and he shall not go out no more.

  624. I will write on him the name of my God

  625. and the name of the city of my God, the

  626. New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God.

  627. And I will write on him my new name. I

  628. know sometimes when you read things like this in the Bible,

  629. especially in Revelations, it gets very confusing. But I think

  630. we've got to pick up certain key things, because when

  631. you overcome the world, you become a bit in God's house,

  632. this one, I want to speak to leaders. If you're

  633. a leader here, do you know what pillers do for

  634. a building? The pillars is the foundation of the building.

  635. Recently I I you know, I mean renovations. So I

  636. understand how important the pillars is. Right if I see

  637. a pillar and I had to deal with one situation

  638. where there was a pillar there and I had to

  639. decide we don't want to break it down or not.

  640. But the problem is if I break down pillar, a

  641. structural engineer will say you are crazy because you've got

  642. second floor. Second floor will come crushing down. But when

  643. you are, when you overcome friends and you are made

  644. a pillar in the house of God, means you are

  645. a key figure now in this place, I think we

  646. need more pillars in nextbu. Do you know that if

  647. we are more pillars in next bu, the church should

  648. be stronger that whatever you face, whatever challenge you face.

  649. For example, sunny this week, you know pass a severe

  650. will crean shot. But oh next week are be you

  651. got no venue? What will pillars say? Oh, no venue

  652. near mine? Let's meet someone. Let's find a place no

  653. econ near mine? A pillow will say that you know

  654. a person. That's not a pillow. Hauh no venue? Yay?

  655. No need go church? No, let's visit another place. Is

  656. that a pillar? I don't think that's a pillow. Looks

  657. more like a read or a left right? No a pillar?

  658. Say no, this is what we need to do. Are

  659. you a pillow in the House of God? You're not pillers?

  660. Do you can lean on pillars when you're highed? You

  661. can lean on pillars? Right? How many if you like

  662. to lean on a pillar and then you follow? So, friends,

  663. we need more pillows in God's house. Leaders, you are

  664. pillars in this place. We need more pillars. When we

  665. are more pillars, to foundation is stronger. Amen. Friends, Do

  666. we now know why the Bible teaches us to rejoice

  667. in tribulation? Trouble is going to come anyway, but then

  668. we can overcome Romans five three five says, And not

  669. only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that

  670. tribulation produces perseverance and perseverance, character and character. Hope, now,

  671. hope that's not disappointed because the love of God, which

  672. has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,

  673. also was given to us and the scripture that we

  674. all like to hear, my brethren, count of all joy

  675. when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing

  676. of your faith produces patients. But let patients have this

  677. perfect work that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

  678. You want to lack nothing in your life. Well, rejoice

  679. when you're going through trouble. Rejoice when you're going to challenges,

  680. because then you become stronger, You become someone that is reliable,

  681. right right, you go through pain, then only you will

  682. be stronger when you don't go through pain. You know,

  683. pain is a very good teacher, you know it is.

  684. But sometimes even as parents want to shield our kids

  685. from everything. And recently I saw this, I think it

  686. was I can't remember wish your speaker, you know, on

  687. on reels on YouTube reels, and the speakure said, the

  688. role of the father is very unique in a child's life, right,

  689. and we all know that God is our father. Right,

  690. So a role of my mother naturally is n nurturing, nurturing, protect,

  691. take care of the kids, make sure they are fat,

  692. make sure I mean my wife does that case, you'll

  693. make sure that childs are okay. I mean, we just

  694. had a very interesting conversation. Yesterday we were driving because

  695. we're in Kal. You know, we went for don and

  696. rest this exchange of vowels, and after we went for breakfast,

  697. and then after we were driving there and then we

  698. were talking about kl you know, because I said, oh,

  699. what do you feel when come k because Kal is

  700. a backyard right for me, it's clang, you know, every

  701. time you go clan and feel nostalgic. And then she said,

  702. depends on who I'm with. She said, when I'm in

  703. Kale with the kids, I feel anxious. So mama anxious.

  704. This is the big city wife. You get robbed, get

  705. back by car. You know. Yeah, I'm like, I don't

  706. feel that way, you know, but she feels that way

  707. right to me. It's like, well, if I'm killed, the

  708. kids then they learn. Now I want to teach him

  709. to be straight smart. But that's the role of a father.

  710. A father challenges their children and say, hey, you can

  711. be better. A father doesn't protect protects, yes, but doesn't

  712. like take care of the kid until don't let him

  713. do anything, you know, that's what her father does. Now.

  714. A father say, ah, you want to climb, go ala climb,

  715. But I'm here to catch you, but go and climb

  716. to see how high you can climb. Right, that's what

  717. our father does. Why because they need to push the

  718. child to say, hey, you're going to reach your potential,

  719. and I'm going to support you reaching your potential. That's

  720. what her father does, right. But of course the mom

  721. will nurture, the mom will take care. Friends, we cannot

  722. be living lives. Yes, nurturing is good against her, but

  723. we cannot be living lives in a bubble. Please, don't

  724. do you know what happens when you just stay in

  725. a bubble, when tribute, when trouble, don't even talk about tribulation,

  726. and tribulation is a big word. When we keep staying

  727. in a bubble, the moment problem hits, you give up

  728. everything because you are The word we use is sheltered,

  729. too sheltered. We all know how that is. When someone

  730. is too sheltered, too spoiled to then they can all

  731. survive life. Because life is hard. Life will hit you

  732. in the face. So what once hit then give up? No,

  733. pick yourself up and move forward, fall down from the bite.

  734. Don't do it. How many of you you know as parents,

  735. you understand this right And even if you're child, you

  736. understand this. You thank your parents are for all the

  737. times they challenge you. You know, you know all the

  738. times that you're protected and taken care of. And you know,

  739. I don't know how much you remember that, but the

  740. lessons of life that make you stronger. You remember. That's

  741. why trials and tribulations, the testing of our faith produces patients.

  742. Can we go back to the previous one? Tribulation produces

  743. perseverance and perseverance, character and character, hope. Don't we want

  744. everyone to be people of character? Don't you want everyone

  745. to be pillous? Don't you want to be a personal character?

  746. Then you've got to embrace that. There will be challenges,

  747. but don't be defeated because you can overcome. Why because

  748. he who is in me is greater than he who

  749. is in this world. You remember that. Friends, you know,

  750. this message is a message that I've been wanting to

  751. share for what I be. I've been I've been stewing

  752. it a bit because I look around me and sometimes

  753. I feel like, you know that there's a saying that says,

  754. oh no, this generation is a strawberry generation, right, And

  755. I'm not talking about the generation I think Christians in general,

  756. we need to be tougher, you know. We need to

  757. grow beyond just just you know, grow beyond the top

  758. process of oh, when something bad happens means I'm saying,

  759. come on, guys, let's grow up. Lah. It's time to

  760. eat meat, it's time to go It's time to discern

  761. for yourself what is from God and what is not.

  762. It's time to go deeper in the world, and it's

  763. time to be strong because we need more people to

  764. be strong. We need more people to be strong because

  765. when you are there, other people can experience the love,

  766. the freedom. You know, it says here you will lack nothing.

  767. And that is about the life. Abundant life is not

  768. devoid of problems. Abundant life is knowing you can overcome problems.

  769. That is about a life. It's not devoid of problems,

  770. you know, but it is knowing that whatever problem that

  771. you face, like I share you just now, every time

  772. I'm in trouble, I just want to know that God

  773. is here. Every time I'm in a tough spot, I

  774. just want to know that God is here. And when

  775. I know that my father is here, I want to

  776. ask my Father what do I need to learn? How

  777. do I need to grow? How do I need to

  778. get stronger? Because He has a plan for me, He

  779. has a plan for your friends. By its a choice.
