  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. All right? Cool?

  4. Anyway, Yeah, CNY is coming up, and I hope those

  5. of you are traveling this travel safe, all right, drive safe.

  6. Pray for journey mercies for everyone that's other vehicles that's on.

  7. The road all right. Uh.

  8. I pray that you know you remember to exercise discipline

  9. during the c n Y in terms of your foot

  10. intake or calorie count.

  11. Hallelujah. Amen.

  12. For those of you who don't look forward for your

  13. reunion dinners because of the questions you may get, May

  14. the Lord give you wisdom and answering every question that

  15. your relative may ask you pertaining your future right life

  16. partner and stuff like. For those who are married, if

  17. they do ask you for the your child, may God

  18. give you wisdom as well and patient in replying them.

  19. Amen.

  20. Cool?

  21. All right? You know, as as as we step into this.

  22. New year, really right, going into twenty five years of

  23. our church, really it's you know, it is nothing shot

  24. by America. That's why we are here and maybe started

  25. the church. It's not because that we had the degree

  26. of like you know, how we start the church We

  27. just had a simple belief. You know something, when God

  28. give you something, right, we just have to believe. The

  29. belief is just these friends. It is about reaching the

  30. people around us with the message that God has given us.

  31. That's it all right.

  32. So we grew ub an environment whereby came from a

  33. youth group. There's peak and love leaders. But that the

  34. heat they are working stage, already working life. You know,

  35. they sort of a fizz it out and something that

  36. give up on the faith turned to different directions and

  37. different encouragement, different pathway and for saying God and our

  38. heart goes out for them. Really just our heart goes

  39. out for them, and we just wanted to reach the

  40. word is is that no, God, would you use us

  41. to reach back our friends?

  42. That was just it.

  43. And you know those of you are born in the

  44. seventies before eighties, you know that you're from this generation X.

  45. The alphabet X, right, that shows how old you are.

  46. And we wanted to turn the X generation, Anon generation,

  47. THEGNEMA generation, the generation whereby so I've lost in between

  48. two worlds, right and to acts Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit

  49. Field generation. So twenty five years have gone and passed

  50. really only because of the goodness of God. And with

  51. all the challenges that we have went through, and not

  52. just in terms of finances alone, it's hard to know. Hard,

  53. it's very challenging when you I'm sure Souvill went through it,

  54. when you buil up something without resources right, you know,

  55. like not like David prepare for Solomon. You know, give

  56. all the letters right where every country goes to the

  57. letters to get resources to build the temper ours is

  58. only the Bible. Praise Hallujah, thank you for the Bible.

  59. And I'm with our belief that God is bigger than

  60. everything that we have we're going to face. We just believe,

  61. friends believe, and I do pray that right now that

  62. all of us say we belief.

  63. Really, you know, in these days, in this form where.

  64. We are living in right, sometimes we get we have

  65. a lot of future in our life. There's a lot

  66. of fult in life. The way we see things, the

  67. way we experience things, the way we look at things right,

  68. and we go to a.

  69. Lot of futer.

  70. And that's why sometimes we finally had to believe, we

  71. finally how to receive, we finding.

  72. How to work.

  73. It is that to know that this God that we serve, right,

  74. who's so faithful when we are a college student, will

  75. be fitful to us in our working life, in our

  76. working world, and sometimes in our journey of life.

  77. Friends, you be tested and God allowed testing. I'm going

  78. to show off towards to reveal.

  79. And God always uses the experiences that we go, the

  80. decision that we go to to reveal. So the Bible

  81. wants a reminder us in mark up the NI version

  82. the tree. Jesus say that if you can believe, all

  83. things are possible to him who believe. Right, if you

  84. can believe, and I thought to myself, like everyone can believe.

  85. It, right? You think about it? Right?

  86. I mean, if I've asked us right now in this

  87. you always see a belief a God. We do right,

  88. we do believe right, we do believe there is a God.

  89. Right we do.

  90. The question I think God is asking is deeper than

  91. just a belief in you all the words. This is

  92. that uh, something SuperNature being out there is to go

  93. deeper in our life, whereby the belief translates into action,

  94. translate into the way we leave our life, Translate into

  95. the decision making, translate into value system that we embrace,

  96. translate into the natural circumstances when we receive, we don't

  97. just accept the natural. We look for the God factor

  98. in the natural right, So it is not just about

  99. friends getting a nice piece of land. If you know

  100. the story between Abraham and Lord, the situation whereby they

  101. were arguing they will strive, and Abraham, being a bigger

  102. person at heart, say to Lord, why don't you choose

  103. first for yourself where you want to go, and I'll

  104. go the other direction? Normally is the doubt. They choose first,

  105. and you know the leftovers. You understand, right, But here's

  106. a situation whereby Abraham allowed and gave the honor to

  107. Lord and said, Lord, would you choose? And Lord chose

  108. for himself the best place, for his hurts, for the cattle,

  109. for everything else, the best place. And you begin to

  110. discover that when we begin to choose things for ourselves

  111. and not embrace God's value, that you will find yourself

  112. getting drawn further and further away from your direction, from

  113. your destiny. So when Jesus said, if you can believe,

  114. all things are possible, so I guess, and I'm trying

  115. to interpret these is the belief have to go deeper

  116. than just seeing a bigger, powerful being out there has

  117. to be translated in the way we believe our life,

  118. because all things are possible to those who believe. First,

  119. there are things in our lives and we face goes

  120. beyond money, goes beyond education, for example, our self esteem.

  121. God causes to be overcomers, whereby we go to ourselves like, no,

  122. it's hard, it's hard to forgive, it's hard to let go,

  123. it's hard. The word this is that it's hard to

  124. exercise grace when when you're so pressured, it's hard to

  125. exercise patience.

  126. Friends, I can guarantee you this, Cny.

  127. Some of your relatives will just keep on asking you

  128. and asking you you and toil the point whereby you

  129. just want to come back home as quickly as you can, right,

  130. And I pray that you know you you look at

  131. this scripture and just say that God, is this something

  132. that you're speaking to me about? Because when God says

  133. all things are possible to him who believes, it goes

  134. beyond an education system or monetary breakthrough. It goes into

  135. the core values of our hearts. Where God asks you

  136. to take a step of faith, he gives you a talent.

  137. We have to believe that God gives a talent for

  138. a reason and for a purpose right, so all things

  139. are possible to him who believe. But friends, is one

  140. thing to just believe. The other thing is to take

  141. the step of faith, to walk the land, to walk

  142. the ground, to live our life. You know, doing church

  143. for past thirty five years, I've seen people who just

  144. believe God really.

  145. And people who really believe.

  146. And many times in our life we can go to

  147. our life just believing a God, believing a being.

  148. But after that no break through.

  149. So if you ever grew up in the seventies and eighties, friends,

  150. the Christianity back in those days were moved by science

  151. and wonders. A lot of testimony that goes around where

  152. by people pray, healing take place. Now days it's more

  153. towards the word, is reasoning out and try to the words,

  154. try the reason of faith. Now there's a space, there's

  155. a space for that. But we should always give space

  156. for the Holy Spirit to move. When God does speak

  157. to you and say to you.

  158. To go, would you go? Really?

  159. Make many years? I think was it the fifty year

  160. or sixth year of our church? You know, CNY has

  161. always been a very challenging time for any church. Just

  162. because you know, granted, everybody goes back and celebrate, but

  163. the church has to run, you know, you know what

  164. I mean, Chesse, you has to run very suddenly shut

  165. down the church for Chinese deer.

  166. There was a time whereby I think.

  167. Past, we spoke a message what happened if really Jesus

  168. come back on the first day of CNY. Just and

  169. this is a football thought defends it's not it's not

  170. autology discuss anything like that. It's a foot for thought,

  171. what happened if Jesus returned on first year of CNY?

  172. Would we be ready for it?

  173. And it's a tought only because many times where we

  174. we love the time with our family and relatives and

  175. stuff like that, the challenge has always been if God

  176. does something that really that that that that challenges our

  177. our call belief in terms of like, but I don't

  178. understand God, you know times first day of CNY, I

  179. haven't done my uncle collection yet, my rounds. I don't

  180. even know what that means any more. Friends, I was

  181. just like, I'm married. There's no more unble coming my way.

  182. It's only outflow, no inflow anymore. Those are real who

  183. married you understand, right, But those those good times and

  184. times that you can call it, those were really good times.

  185. Holy have good memories.

  186. Amen, Steven your last year ready anyway?

  187. Anyway? Amen? Right?

  188. And if my point of God comes on the first

  189. day of CNY the words that when we tell God

  190. that say that God, would you can you just delay for.

  191. One more day? Let me enjoy first? Right?

  192. And this is the thing that God always and we

  193. always like to use this statement. God, you understand. Come on, God,

  194. you understand.

  195. Right.

  196. And sometimes the lot would speak the other way. My

  197. people will understand, My people will understand. That's why anything

  198. is possible to those who believe friends. And many times

  199. why this is so hard, it's because the path to

  200. believe friends is not a natural path. Abraham and Sarah,

  201. the Bible says in Roman chapter four, Right, God calls

  202. those things that were there as though they were alive. Right,

  203. So you speak a word, a word to Abraham, right,

  204. a word to Abraham, even though this body that you

  205. shall become a father of many nations. So the word

  206. goes forth right now into Abraham's heart and Abraham's spirit.

  207. The word has went forth. Now.

  208. Abraham, the Bible says, has a choice to receive the

  209. word and believe also receive the word, and they say, oh,

  210. thank you so much for the word, and I'll frame

  211. it up, I'll put it on Facebook, I'll put it.

  212. I'll right down on my journey. And then when we

  213. close the journey, that's it. But the Bible says he

  214. really believed that he'll become a dad. But the Bible

  215. also described the Abram's body was way past a natural

  216. child bearing age. Think about it, so which meets friends

  217. every morning he wakes up. There will be challenges. If

  218. you have never aged before in your life. I want

  219. you to know. Right this year, said to say I'm

  220. turning fifty, hallelujah, I would say said, I'm embracing it

  221. big fifty. I can go to myself, Wow, I got here.

  222. I remember when I was just fifteen, right, and I

  223. look at people of fifty.

  224. I'll never get there. I don't know.

  225. Have you ever sit there before when you're much younger? Right,

  226. I don't tell I'll look that. Oh right, But once

  227. you are here, you do also realize that that it's.

  228. A bit more different in terms of your ability. Right.

  229. Well, the spirit is still very young, friends, your spirit

  230. is still a life.

  231. Is you rare? But the capacity to do what you

  232. need to do. It's just a bit different. Right.

  233. You hear a bit more cracks and sound sometimes that

  234. you walk, you do one you do right? Right, you

  235. recover your recovery rate from every bumps and every The

  236. word is that cuts takes slightly a bit longer than

  237. what it used to be. Right, friends, no longer young

  238. food will be already, snacks will be something you look

  239. forward to.

  240. Right now.

  241. Your half of your fish is fuel with supplements. That's

  242. what aging does you So, could you imagine this is

  243. modern day aging?

  244. What more? Abraham? Friends, what more?

  245. Abraham whereby he looked himself in a mirror, if he

  246. has a mirror back.

  247. Then God say I'll be a dead.

  248. Think about it. God say I'll be a dead. And

  249. he tells you why. The wife would just probably say

  250. that you got out.

  251. Right.

  252. The wife we just look at Abraham, Sarah, just look

  253. at Abraham saying you must be a bit naughty, that's

  254. all you're just you just want it right. No, but

  255. God said I'll be a dad. I want you to

  256. put yourself in Abraham's shoes. Right, and just imagine for

  257. a moment if God does speak something to you to

  258. a situation.

  259. That's date as though they're alive.

  260. When you receive the world, when you have the world,

  261. what is your top process? Because many times as believers,

  262. I find the challenge here is this is that, yes,

  263. I know God's word is true. God's word is good.

  264. But many times our journey then there's always the other part.

  265. But how where I allow this to change my life?

  266. The way I walk, the way I carry myself, the

  267. way I believe, the way I serve, the way I

  268. live my daily life. And Abraham the Bible says, did

  269. not focus on this inability to reproduce. He did not

  270. You're in Romans chapter four. Okay, my friends, this is

  271. not even my message. I haven't gone to my message.

  272. I'm so sorry, right, but I.

  273. Want to lead the foundation because I find this is

  274. very true whether or not. Friends, you are a young

  275. Cristian or the Christian, or your parent or you're not parent.

  276. Yet the truth of the matter is this that we

  277. have to move from just belief in the context of

  278. just being out there to a place whereby God, that

  279. this word must change my life.

  280. I share a true story.

  281. I heard the story about a mom one day was

  282. praying a mom one day was praying then decide to

  283. skip school. The son decided to skip school and decided,

  284. for the very first time in his.

  285. Life, right to watch a movie.

  286. This olveraysee story I watch a movie and while the

  287. mom was praying, God spoke to the mom. Now, I

  288. want you to go to this cinema because your son

  289. is there.

  290. Thing.

  291. God spoke to the mama, I want you to go

  292. to cinema. Your son is there. She drove off the cinema,

  293. opened the cinema door and shouted, John, are you in there?

  294. I want you to.

  295. God really does move in mysterious ways all in all one.

  296. No, the prayer of our mom is really powerful.

  297. Friends, I want you to I want to encourage you

  298. because many times now joining in our life when we

  299. pray it doesn't doesn't mean that it hasn't changed immediately

  300. that God is in denial. So Abraham decided not to

  301. focus on it's his inability to reproduce, but focus on

  302. his faith, focus on God's goodness, God himself. So I

  303. want you to contrast another character called Thomas in Joint

  304. twenty Thomas, you know, dubting Thomas right, No Thomas, friends.

  305. So the Thomas's very interesting character John twenty verse twenty four.

  306. So now Thomas, called the twin one of the trail,

  307. was not with them, and Jesus come right. You gotta

  308. imagine this, okay, this is after the crucifixion. Jesus appeared

  309. to other disciples. But so happened that Thomas was not

  310. with the disciples all with his friends verse twenty five.

  311. The other disciples therefore said to him, we have seen

  312. the Lord. And so he said to them. Now this

  313. is Thomas not believing. This is Thomas not believing unless

  314. I see in his hands the prince of the nails

  315. and put my finger. Come on, put my finger into

  316. the print, very descriptive. Not just see that. Everdence is

  317. one thing, but I could fit for myself and put

  318. my hands into his. I will not believe. I think

  319. we come to a place whereby we want to see first.

  320. We won't got short first before we could believe, before

  321. we could believe. And many times in our journey, in

  322. our life, friends, there are sudden circumstances whereby we know

  323. that we have and that's why we believe. But there

  324. are many circumstances in our life we have to believe

  325. first before we see and verse twenty six, after it

  326. days stress, after eight days where Thomas demanded four an

  327. evidence his disciples will gain inside and Thomas was with them.

  328. Jesus came the door was being shot and stood still

  329. in the midst and say peace to you. I think

  330. the question is is do you believe in all your

  331. heart even though you were not there?

  332. Come on?

  333. Do you believe in all your heart even though you're

  334. not there? And many times our journey, friends, as we

  335. go through live, we hear people's experiences. You heard the

  336. testimony just now that someone's eyesight was restored. Did you

  337. believe even though you weren't there to see it? Or

  338. we just believe? We need like mess? I say, okay,

  339. but really dipped down in our own heart. It did

  340. not register. Thomas was like that as well. Thomas was

  341. a person.

  342. Friends.

  343. The Bibles did start his journey adopting. Thomas did not

  344. start his journey as adopt And many times in our life, friends,

  345. we do not start our.

  346. Faith journey adopting one.

  347. Come on now, and I think that none of us

  348. here we can say that we did not start our

  349. faith adopting Your God maybe not real cannot be so

  350. good like this on we always omit our faith, believing

  351. but true the journey of life and different circumstances that happened,

  352. different experiences, right, we doubt you know we allowed things,

  353. I mean, we allowed things to hijack our heart. So

  354. did you know that Thomas's are very courageous believer, very

  355. courageous believer. John chapter eleven. Okay, John Chup eleven, John

  356. chapter eleven. All right, this John Chup eleven is on

  357. the screen here, I'm gonay for verse five. Now, Jesus

  358. loved Martha and the sister and lazarrous. Okay, this is

  359. there's a background the story. So when you heard that

  360. he was saying Leisures was sick, he stayed for two

  361. more days in a place where he was Verse seven,

  362. after he said to the disciples, let us go to

  363. Judea again.

  364. Now let us go to Judea again to visit Lazarus.

  365. But the disciples said, Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to

  366. stone you, and are you going there again?

  367. Now?

  368. The disciples was a faith because they might be killed.

  369. I'm not sure how many times in our prayer as well,

  370. Like Jesus, if you're going down this path, you're going

  371. down this road, right, I want to follow you because

  372. it's really really America that we say we want to

  373. die for Jesus. Right now, let me true really really

  374. like you know, if it's really really difficult, right there

  375. was true of disciples say Lord, if he's asleep, he

  376. will get well, because you say legends all.

  377. There, he's sleeping.

  378. So the disciple just interpreted as if he wants asleep,

  379. he'll get weller. Like majority of us Asian believe that

  380. if you're not well, just go and go and sleep.

  381. By then you wake up, you'll be well. Ready the

  382. perfect remedy for every sickness. All right, Oh hey, the

  383. I just sleep for a while, you'll be well now

  384. verse sixteen. Now Thomas caught the twins said to his

  385. fellow disciples, let us also go that we may die

  386. with him for these kind of friends who really pray

  387. that he's not part of homes. Think about you. You

  388. want to do something you do on your owner, don't

  389. rock the boat. Think about you. Here's here's a disciple.

  390. Here's is Thomas saying to the rest of the people

  391. that look, if Jesus going there, he might be stolen,

  392. might be killed.

  393. Let us go together with him.

  394. Then we's such an honor to die together with Jesus.

  395. Friends.

  396. I know, friends, really, unless you're totally convinced and convicted,

  397. unless you're on fire, friends, you and I will never

  398. say these six Lord, send past to Stephen. Please, Lord,

  399. after you answer your full time call, you know you're

  400. just your sheep. You know he's didn't you say the

  401. shepherd was first to face a front line?

  402. Right?

  403. I mean in our journey, friends, I just want to

  404. explain it in our journey, friends, in our journey, in

  405. our journey, in our work, in our journey, very seldom

  406. we say this, but here is Tom will say that

  407. I want to die for you.

  408. Do you know how hot this is? Really?

  409. The word is unpacked. So recently me and my wife

  410. chanced upon a particular magazine not from her country. I

  411. think it's printed in Taiwan, and it's just very interesting.

  412. It was high I think a particular.

  413. Story of our person who happened to be who's from China,

  414. who came to know the Lord. She's a successful lawyer,

  415. came to know the lot in the journey, keime to

  416. know the Lord.

  417. And she said that.

  418. Once you come to know the Lord, friends, it's either

  419. you believe all the way or you don't. And she

  420. gave up her her career as a lawyer, a well

  421. to do, a reasonably well to do lifestyle, for the gospel.

  422. She was.

  423. She was jail at least four times sharing the gospel

  424. in the midst of the pandemic, and she was so happy.

  425. She went to Wuhan just before lockdown and she was

  426. there sharing the gospel, and they found her her and

  427. put her into prison. This is a secular magazine, it's

  428. not even uh a Christian magazine. And she's just sharing

  429. her journey about some days in our life, in our

  430. in our faith, you have to give up everything.

  431. For the Lord.

  432. I'm not sure that prayer how many of us and

  433. I don't I know askers. I don't want pro pressure

  434. on us, but I just want to show you there

  435. are people like that who will just say that if

  436. let's go all the way for Christ, it's not easy.

  437. That's why they're the minority. And Thomas right here, see,

  438. let's just die for Jesus. Imagine it's hell good. Right now,

  439. Come on, guys, off or not. Okay, tomorrow we're going

  440. to We're going to take car, We're going to go

  441. to the parliament and go.

  442. Say, Jesus is Lord, Jesus is King.

  443. Guarantee I can guarantee you all right, you said your

  444. home leader there and the rest of you will be

  445. say can we take a different membership for another church?

  446. Right?

  447. But so this is Thomas did not stop start start

  448. his journey as a doctor. But believe all right, friends,

  449. So Thomas found it difficult to believe what othercapers have

  450. shared because it wasn't present. Come on, and sometimes our

  451. journey no matter what how we say it up front

  452. here God, it's cool. You go like, yeah, but you

  453. don't understand.

  454. Come true for you. But but you're not. My situation

  455. came true for me. I wasn't there, right, I didn't

  456. do an audio of your of your life. Right.

  457. And many times we with the words, we interpret the

  458. situation with our own mind. We interpret the situation with

  459. our own mind. So each time it things happen in

  460. our life that we don't go out the way we hope,

  461. be careful of the doors that we open that can

  462. sold doubt. Come on, you pray for something and something

  463. did not come true for you. For example, right doesn't

  464. mean that the word of God.

  465. Is not real.

  466. Right, and many times in our journey as well, we

  467. get disappointed by different situations, different circuits, sens of different people.

  468. And if you allow circumstances and situation to take over,

  469. it does drop us one. I'm not talking about the

  470. big thing. I'm not really talking about small things. I

  471. just want to share a story with you or I

  472. just heard recently it's one of our partners, one of

  473. leaders of our church came up to me, Elder, I

  474. just wanted to say something to you that many years

  475. ago when I first came to church, you, I say

  476. hi to you. I just say hi to you, and

  477. you did not respond, Elder you. I was so angry,

  478. so angry to the point that I thought to myself

  479. that I want to leave church.

  480. Friends. I say, rather, I'm so sorry you could say

  481. hi to me.

  482. I was rushy. I was trying to do something. Maybe

  483. there was a link somewhere, right, I didn't know that

  484. you say hi. You know how somebody people say hi

  485. and then their breath hi and you very soft and

  486. stuff like that, and just really the site there happens

  487. a friends, It does happen, not say purposely, no, it

  488. does happen in our life, you know, and this was

  489. I wanted the words, I wanted to leave, and I

  490. was there was I was angry. He is I was angry.

  491. And the point of time and the thing happened. A

  492. door was open. Come on, a door was open. The

  493. agent of anger was son. The seat was sown in

  494. his life. Come on, so in his life at the

  495. very point he allowed it to fester a bit. Oh,

  496. this is just the action. Say hi, No, there are

  497. people like that, friends. I'm not saying that wrong. It's

  498. just that things happen.

  499. Right.

  500. If person see when el say, had good money to

  501. your you know, just say one more time, at least

  502. you just comfort with one more time. We purposely ignore

  503. you and this stuff like that, right just because of

  504. one incident, then you you formilate everything, this one so

  505. ext you are so ection. Stuff like it does happen

  506. in friends, and and because of that that the powerfree friends.

  507. At the point that was angry. But then God spoke

  508. to him and say, forgive, come on, forgive. He has

  509. a choice, d to uproot the roots of anger, the

  510. roots of you. Open the door, friends, you have to

  511. shut it, friends, because the more we entered it or

  512. everything else after that, it's all bad on friends. You

  513. think about that, everything else after that is all bad.

  514. It applies to church, applies to your relationship with other people.

  515. You've done so many good in your life to for

  516. the other person. About one time you forgot. You forgot

  517. not because of purpose, you actually do Forgod. Forget right,

  518. and what happens thread resentment build up and you're not

  519. real friends. I'm not speaking to anyone down to you

  520. all by friends. So this brother came up to me

  521. after many many years, right now as the leader of

  522. our church, happily married. He said to me, other, thank

  523. God that really you know, I found strength to let

  524. it go. Could you just imagine right now things happen

  525. in your life. You say hi to someone and someone

  526. did not respond. That very egg of not receiving the

  527. respond could hijack you away from your destiny. So therefore,

  528. can you believe even though you're not there? Think about it?

  529. You hurt the testimony of someone getting healed? Can you

  530. believe in your heart?

  531. Oh? I can pray and someone be healed.

  532. You heard our different church plants in our church, maybe

  533. you heard before share testimony or maybe bend you by sharing.

  534. During the conference in Japan, we never place to meet,

  535. and they will pray. You know Japan, you understand how

  536. difficult it is to get the place to meet and

  537. stuff like that, so they will pray, God, where can

  538. we meet for homes? Where can we meet for homes?

  539. No place to meet? And God give him a very

  540. good idea. Have it in a Cowka room. Have homes

  541. in the Coroka room for two hours. It's your space,

  542. it is yours. No I can kick you out and

  543. sick as low as you want.

  544. Hello, And they did.

  545. They met there for homes once or twice because there's

  546. no space.

  547. And after homes.

  548. Friends, one partner came up to Benji and you say, pasta, Benji,

  549. if we shook, got another fifteen minutes?

  550. Can I sing? Can I? Can? I?

  551. Can I use the microphone and really sing my heart out?

  552. Because it's all paid for. I want you to just

  553. imagine right now, friends, as you are sharing that God

  554. gives you creative ideas and stuff like that. So can

  555. we believe even though we are not there? You say,

  556. but you know it only happens in the field. It

  557. only happens. You know that only happens when the leaders pray.

  558. It only happens on Sunday. But friends, we have the

  559. come to a place where why we believe it does

  560. happen because we are a believer first than anything else. Right,

  561. if we keep entertaining those thoughts and emotions or try

  562. to understand the things of God with with and renew mine,

  563. we will miss out on the things of God. Come on,

  564. if we keep entertaining thoughts like that, with that and

  565. renew mine, what do I mean, my dad and renew mine?

  566. I've come to a place whereby and I do know

  567. that sometimes we are just assumed just because you're in

  568. church for so many years that you know how to worship.

  569. For example, immediately.

  570. A person gets safe, right, we assume that there is

  571. sort of transformation of understanding how to pray and not

  572. really realizing maybe the person really need know how to

  573. pray or how to read the Bible, for example. We

  574. just assume because can read any book, that the Bible

  575. is easy to read. Yes it is in a sense

  576. of right, friends, but we have this thought process whereby

  577. we just assume, and what do I mean by I

  578. renew mine? You know you need to spend time with

  579. God really to renew your mind, for example, and then

  580. renew mind is just these friends of mind that really

  581. haven't been spending time with the Lord reading his word.

  582. Now for I'm just going to share this with your

  583. For those of y'all who like to read your Bible

  584. at night before you sleep, Praise God, please keep up

  585. the discipline. But I want to encourage you. Could you

  586. do it in the morning, because after you read the Bible,

  587. feel the word of the Lord, feel with the promises

  588. of God and all the power.

  589. Friends, that happens.

  590. You put it to sleep, right you, You go to

  591. sleep with all the promises of God, the power, the

  592. renew mind.

  593. You're ready to take out the world. Yes, time is

  594. eleventh the Nary.

  595. Let's go and sleep and you wake up the next day, friends,

  596. facing everything that demands your attention. Whereby the choices that

  597. you make when you're awake will determine where you go

  598. in your life, which country you'll be in, which completely

  599. work for.

  600. Who you marry or not. You make those decisions when

  601. you're awake.

  602. Very seldom I hear people say, elder, I got married

  603. in my dreams.

  604. Maybe I think God I got friends.

  605. I do believe God, I do I do believe it

  606. does happen that you you're dreaming, you get married and

  607. stuff like, or you wake up next day you find

  608. your husband besides a guy besides you.

  609. Uh, that's that's that's a different sorry.

  610. That's a different thing altogether, right, what you understand, right,

  611. So therefore it when you're awake, friends, you're when you're awake.

  612. When you're awake, friends, there's so many things that comes away,

  613. what to do, what not to do. Don't you think

  614. that unique God's wisdom to make those decisions into deciding

  615. what you should do and what you shouldn't do. Right,

  616. And that's why when your mind is you knew you

  617. know how to make at least a more accurate or

  618. better a better choice.

  619. For your life.

  620. But many times when we read the Bible at night

  621. this and night before we sleep, the mind is so renewed.

  622. Then we just go to sleep. After that, then you.

  623. Wake up to the pressures of the world, your emails

  624. or WhatsApp just on your phone, the money, your attention,

  625. and you allow the pressure to hijack us when you

  626. are pressure for us to make a decision. For example,

  627. you know something that's sale on your app and stuff like,

  628. that's a countdown cloak, right, and you'll say.

  629. To buy right now. If not, I'll miss out big time.

  630. I could to buy right now right And things happens

  631. in our life and we make those diseases. Sometimes eighty

  632. percent we get it correct, twenty percent we get it

  633. wrong right and those wrong decisions we regret to you sometimes.

  634. My wife always tried to like to tell me that

  635. you're just a bit more. Don't you eat? I said,

  636. I'm trying to lose sweet you.

  637. Then after I eat it, really, I felt so bad

  638. after they say, see what you put away? And things

  639. happens in our life because of the decision we make

  640. after that. Friends, So therefore, do not try to interpret

  641. the things of God with renew mind, because we can

  642. never fully understand what God is trying to do. On

  643. never fully understand what God is trying to do because

  644. and then I renewed mind. Friends, we always look think

  645. in the flesh afy Abraham. Friends, Come on, if Abraham

  646. right now is alive and you got God's promise, yeah,

  647. you'll be a father of many nations.

  648. How would you walk and talk to Abraham?

  649. Abraer can't share you, Stephen, God spoke to me, I'll

  650. be a dad.

  651. In your mind right now, you could like, hmmm, I

  652. think so you can. Then you go. I renewed mine, friends,

  653. and renewed mine. Let me just go on, let me go,

  654. let me go.

  655. The second, the second point I just want to get

  656. to us, is this that with everything that's happening, will

  657. you choose to believe again? Come on, with everything that's

  658. happening and that has happened, will you choose to believe again?

  659. With everything that's happened. When I talk about that, I'm

  660. talking about our disappointment because Thomas was disappointed.

  661. He wasn't there.

  662. You can't imagine right now, friends, this is Thomas who's

  663. part of the disciple. Where was Thomas when Jesus first appeared?

  664. Wouldn't you harded together? Because they hadded together because they

  665. were afraid that the Jews might find them want to

  666. kill them. So they were afraid, so they went to hiding.

  667. But where was Thomas in the midst of people were hiding?

  668. He was, I like, so disappointed because God, or rather

  669. Jesus wasn't resident directed.

  670. And he wasn't there. Things happened, So many things happened.

  671. Sub commentary put there that he was doing business somewhere else.

  672. He missed opportunity when Jesus first came. But whatever reason

  673. it is that the Bible says that he just wasn't there.

  674. And many times in our lives, friends, we miss out

  675. because again, like the first point, we allow those things,

  676. those pressures to draw us away from God, from what's

  677. really important for the break through, from what's really key

  678. in our life, the moments whereby we need to be there.

  679. We were there. But here's the second.

  680. Well, Thomas missed the first appearance God, or rather Jesus

  681. did not allow Thomas to miss the second one. You

  682. think about for a moment. He did not allow what

  683. was thomas request. I got to see the nails. I

  684. got to see the prince of his hands. I got

  685. to put it at there, to touch it, to see

  686. the way it's real, not it just could be c G.

  687. I so sorry, right, I gold put at the sight.

  688. There so many demands, so many things that he put

  689. in front of the Lord. Then only I believe. But

  690. even with that, when Jesus said, come, look the questions

  691. that we still believe.

  692. Do you know why?

  693. Sometimes I do feel that we finally had to believe

  694. again because the trust was broken so much, almost beyond

  695. repair humanly, humanly cannot repair. That's why we cannot overcome it.

  696. There's some relative I know I experienced it, but they

  697. cannot see eye to white until now they're not talking

  698. to each other.

  699. The herb was so.

  700. Deep, so deep, that they cannot see beyond, so deep.

  701. And many times in our life the hurt was so

  702. deep that we cannot see beyond. The disappointment was so

  703. great that we cannot see beyond. Maybe maybe and perhaps

  704. sometimes in our journee of our life, we are like

  705. Thomas as well that when people say that, you know,

  706. when people say to him, we sold the Lord and Thomas.

  707. Here's Thomas Frengths. There is the other disciples who said

  708. to themselves, God, if you couldn't die.

  709. Can you can we can we be excuse?

  710. Here's Thomas the person that says that, Jesus, you've got

  711. to die. I want to die together with you and

  712. God appeal to other people and not him. Disappointment can

  713. rob person, no friends. But here's the thing I wanted

  714. to remind us. God always uses situation in our lives

  715. to reveal the genuine wist.

  716. What this hard? What to say? I'm you understand?

  717. Okay, I really really have problems pronouncing this word with

  718. my tim on the friends. But you understand, okay, how

  719. genuine your faith is? Okay, I die, I see this word.

  720. I always reminded myself of the world is guinea SUNI.

  721. I'm sorry. I don't drink for a matter, I don't.

  722. I don't, I don't. That's the truth. Okay, you asked

  723. by wife, I get drawn by roy chocolate.

  724. Really, yes, I can, my my my lowest already, my

  725. my my even.

  726. Rice wine chicken.

  727. Even after you boy alway the alcohol, I still cannot.

  728. So that's my okay. Anyway, God always uses the situation

  729. to reveal how genuine a faithe it's come on.

  730. He doesn't the words I used to say that. God

  731. allows it. You know.

  732. God uses because the choices we make determines. The choices

  733. that you make determine the outcome of friends. So why

  734. would the outcoming rather you like it or not. God

  735. uses it to reveal our faith.

  736. Come on.

  737. Sometimes you are disappointed in different situations or different things

  738. are friends. So God uses the disappointment to reveal Sometimes

  739. when we are happy, every thing's happened. God also uses

  740. the happiness to reveal, really, what's in our hearts, our faith,

  741. because our faith sometimes it's just anchor, for example, in

  742. the event, but the event doesn't happen. Our faith is

  743. not alive, right, But God once bring us through a

  744. place whereby he uses that to reveal what's in our faith. Friends,

  745. let me just turn to your first Peter Chapter one,

  746. Verse six, Uh, I go answered, really do, I'm really really.

  747. Good, and so I know.

  748. So you've got the rush of all for meals with

  749. your loved ones, with your relative But allow me just

  750. another fifty moments, all right, So indeed you're really rejudge

  751. for now for a little while. If you need to be,

  752. you begree by raverus trials come on raious trials, you'll

  753. be grieved verse seven that the.

  754. Okay, skip it word.

  755. I'm sorry if I pronounce it's okay, you'll be laughing

  756. all the way all right. The genuwiness of your faith. See,

  757. I can really get the focus, okay, to say the word.

  758. Of your faith. Much more pressures than go as their perishers.

  759. Although it's tested by fire, may be found to be

  760. praised with honor and glowing at the revelation of our Jesus,

  761. of Jesus Christ whom you have seen, where who having

  762. not seen you, Love, though now you do not see yet,

  763. believing you rejoice with you. Rejoice with joy inexpressible and

  764. the full of glory. Our faith, friends, is what.
