You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
I was invited to specific engagement speaking engagement. Now, I
-
don't find that nerve racking as what I used to
-
be two years ago, and I just stepped into this
-
role every speaking engagement. Back then, it was like, Wow,
-
it's such a joy to be considered. But it's also
-
such a stressful occasion because sometimes you just wonder what
-
do I have to say or do I have to
-
share in order to captivate your attention in order to
-
direct you to the path of your savior, Jesus Christ. Now,
-
And the same way how I when I just started
-
excact the morning and started leading this plan. Even being
-
here on this whole pit, just looking at all your faces,
-
sometimes the reaction that I get back it really doesn't
-
encourage me that much. LA right, let me just put
-
it away. That's my own self. I'm struggling in my
-
own heart, in my own spirit. Maybe it's maybe you're
-
really pondering me, really thinking, thinking, But in my own mind,
-
I'm looking at you and I'm making a judgment. So
-
sometimes my own mind, my own spirit, my own heart
-
enables me to think in a way that is not
-
of the Lord, and I just want to share you that.
-
But recently, as of late, I started to get a
-
little bit used to it, you know, started to get
-
used to the book pits, to get used to moving,
-
so to get used to talking conversing. Some people even
-
came up to me and say, hey, you're English improved.
-
Thank you, thank you so much for telling me that
-
I improve in my English. I don't get it often
-
with my wife, so it's good to get it outside
-
of the house. Because my wife, yeah, yeah, oh dear,
-
oh dear, she was the one. She was the one.
-
She was the one, but not the one who said
-
my English improve. Okay, so uh you, thank you, thank you,
-
my lovely wife. No cat will ever replace you in
-
the name of Jesus. Uh course, because recently she said
-
Stuggles has taken over her life, her position in my heart.
-
Not true, not true. I will kick her out in
-
a moment, in a second. It's my slides. Really, I'm
-
stalling long enough ready? Uh what's going on? Can I
-
have the first slide up? Not yet? How long? How
-
long do you need because it's quite important? One second,
-
two second, one minute, two minutes. Not his fault because
-
I changed a little bit of slides. Anyways, let's just
-
not brought about that. Just listen to me, let me,
-
let me give you a visual. I was invited to
-
speak at Wesley Metadist banda Coldfields International School. Okay, Wesley
-
Metadist col Fields. If you don't know where that is,
-
that is up north, somewhere north of Selango and closer
-
to Caller Salango. In fact, the road that is leading
-
to this school is called jas So when I when
-
I was on the road, I'm like am I And
-
it makes sense because it took almost one and a
-
half hours for me to get to that location. So
-
as you may have maybe guessed, my message is about timing, okay,
-
my message about timing, and it's about God's timing. Now,
-
I thought that this was an artist impression. Next time,
-
thank you, thank you so much. I thought this was
-
an artist impression. Actually it's not. It's a cat rendering. Okay,
-
so uh, you know you get the joke. Cat You
-
know I like cats. So uh. Wesley Medaday School was
-
the school that was invited to by this lovely lady
-
called teacher Christina. She doesn't really speak much English. She
-
speaks a lot of Mandarin. So can you imagine the
-
conversation that goes between me and her, now, Neil Young,
-
it took a Wesley Funyang two yes so the word
-
then I tell her yes, well, Krai. In fact, I
-
wasn't even supposed to be the one preaching on the day.
-
I was supposed to go there to do a music workshop. Now,
-
the worship workshop was divided into two parts, first part vocal,
-
second part instrument. So I was like, okay, I'm going
-
to get a team. So I go to my lovely
-
lovely college and said, hey, would you like to come
-
and do a vocal training? And this person told me yes,
-
I would love to, only to find out that she's
-
in Vietnam now, but I just don't. So I was
-
in this place where I was less stranded. I'm like, okay,
-
and am I supposed to go do this alone and
-
do a vocal training which I wasn't prepared for. So
-
I was already feeling a little bit nervously okay, because
-
I don't know why offer. Honestly, Albert can sing so
-
much better than me. Rogers for some reading when worship today,
-
What a wonderful voice but for me, I put I
-
put the frogs to sleep. But it's a bit a
-
bit challenging to do that. But instrument okay, instruan okay,
-
So I was started to do that. I was, I
-
was about to prepare. It was Wednesday day, Tuesday night.
-
The chapel was on Thursday. The session was on Thursday,
-
and teacher Christina reached out to me and said, hey,
-
passa Dan, we would like you to speak as well.
-
I'm like, what wait your engagements on? When is it Thursday?
-
Tuesday night? Can you speak? Okay, I'm a really speaking right. No, no, no,
-
we want you to speak to two hundred of our
-
students secondary students. I'm like, oh no, you're telling me
-
on Tuesday night, on Thursday morning, I have to speak
-
and you are giving me a topic that I have
-
to prepare for nothing on my heart, but to prepare
-
according to the topic. Thankfully, it was Easter, so I
-
had to prepare something along those lines. So I preached.
-
I prepared my heart out. You know, I like any
-
engagement services, I try my best to give my best
-
to all of you. So even today, it's really my best,
-
Like okay, so if it's not good enough, looked at
-
the Lord. Okay, so uh I was in his place
-
of just and by the way, the person that was
-
supposed to preach his name was also Pasaden. He went
-
down with our influenceer sold in order to replace Pasaden.
-
They found another faster than English Pasaden. So I took
-
up the offer. I don't know why I got. I
-
bounced it over with Cane and kind told me it
-
was it's a blessing to be a blessing and just
-
just give unless you are telling me that you can't.
-
You know when your boss tells you that and then
-
you go like can can bully? So I prepared, but
-
you know, the nerves never really left. The nurse areay
-
left and in fact, the nerves gotten even more compounded
-
because of the things I had to do. Just last
-
week I was rushing a survey for the recent Huddle
-
survey that we did youth. Can we received such a
-
just a share? If you almost seventy percent of our
-
young people say that they want to be discipled. I
-
think that deserves a praise to our Lord Jesus Christ,
-
that our young people are in a place that they
-
want to be discipled. So, fellow friends and family over here.
-
If you're not yet in a discipleshit relationship, please consider
-
because it's actually to me. I make it very clear.
-
It's a mandate. If you want to follow Jesus Christ,
-
you have to be disciple. But topic for another day, Okay.
-
So the slight before that says God's timing, not my own,
-
and the subtitle that says being sensitive to God's voice.
-
So I was driving up to Wesley Metaday's. The nurse
-
was there and questions were being asked, what if they
-
don't listen to me? Now, to further compound my nurves,
-
the teacher had to come out to me and say, actually,
-
and by the way, the two hundred students that we have,
-
ninety percent of them don't care about chapel. In fact,
-
they despise chapel. They're just there to be there because
-
it's a rule. And when I got there, I understood
-
because they were just not borded you were doing worship.
-
They were just talking to their friends ninety percent. And
-
I don't blame them because they're not believers. They don't
-
understand who Jesus is. And that's where I should be
-
used to that right, I should be used to engaging
-
with non believers and bringing the gospel to them. But
-
I don't know why. When this time around, when I
-
was on my own, the weather was gloomy, it was
-
raining in the morning. It was such a long gam
-
and I was just driving on myself, and I started
-
having thoughts in my mind. Okay, thoughts in my mind,
-
Thoughts like this, what if they don't listen to me?
-
Parents in this house, I think there's your struggle sometimes, right,
-
you can say how much you want to say to
-
your kid, but the thought may be still there. What
-
if they don't listen to me? I can tell them all,
-
what if they don't listen to me? I would say,
-
I was smacking like but he always says that la.
-
He always tried to appear tought, but actually you know,
-
behind the scenes, he's like, oh, Eli, yeah, So what
-
if they don't listen to me? What if I don't
-
manage to capture that attention? You know, young people, young
-
people in this house. Sometimes you may think that I
-
like to do this. I like to speak to you
-
sometimes I do. I do, I really do. But I
-
like to speak to people who engage with me. I
-
don't like to speak to people who just when I
-
speak you act like I say, it's the most boring
-
thing in the whole world. It gets it gets to
-
the speakers. Sometimes it gets to us, but again it
-
is not about us. And I had to I had
-
to come to a place of surrender. But I was
-
feeling the nerves. I was alone. Normally I have my
-
wife with me, so I get to bounce off with her.
-
At this time, I didn't have her because she was
-
working and I was just in this place of I
-
would even say despair because I was like, yo, I
-
don't think I have anything to offer, dah la. I
-
already prepare last minute, right. So I was thinking, thinking, thinking,
-
and it just got to me. It just got to me.
-
I was so discourage next, like like, it's gonna take
-
you around my journey. Okay. So as I was looking
-
to my ways, as you can see that I was
-
arriving at seven forty nine in one point one km away,
-
I was just on this journey and I just looked
-
to my ways to check how long left and where
-
to go. And I don't know why. When I looked
-
at my ways, the first thing I noticed was the
-
thing that I circled on the top left, and of
-
course for some of you who know your compass, it
-
represents what northwest right. But when I saw n W,
-
I didn't read it as northwest right. I read it
-
as north way. Okay, I read it as north way.
-
So I was so discouraged. I was so discouraged. And
-
when I looked to the ways and the first thing
-
I saw was NW, something sparked in my heart. Something
-
sparked in my heart. If you have your Bibles, can
-
turn to Hebrews twelve US one to two. We all
-
love this scripture, and he says this, therefore we also
-
since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses.
-
But I kind of just preached this a while ago.
-
Oh by the way, he also sends his regards. He
-
wants to be here, but due to the circum circumstances,
-
he can't be here. He can't walk. He can't walk,
-
So keep him in your prayers. He says, lay aside
-
every weight and the scene we're so easily and stances.
-
There was a way there was a weight on my shoulder.
-
There was a sin that was coming in that was
-
ensnaring me. The treap of the enemy. It was starting
-
to grip me. That's always driving as I always driving,
-
and for some of you, my family member, you know
-
that my car has a very high pitch sound. Now
-
I don't know what's going on, but it was so
-
annoying the whole time, and I realized it was econ,
-
So I had to drive with a econ. It was hot,
-
it was hot, it was coming, it was grabbing me.
-
And he says, let us run with endurance the race
-
that is set before us, looking at the geese, the
-
auto finisher of our faith for the joy that was
-
set before him, and dealed the cross, despising the shame,
-
and set down the right hand of the throne of God. Wow, North,
-
way North, What is your north? Friends today, in every
-
season of your life, in everything that you're doing, in
-
every circumstances, in every challenge, what is your north? Proverbs
-
four twenty five to twenty seven. Continue to encourage me,
-
and he says, let your eyes look straight ahead. As
-
I was driving, it was straight ahead, straight right in
-
front of me. That's where the school was. But not
-
before you need to turn left and turn right. But
-
you have to keep you have to keep on the path.
-
And twenty five verse twenty five R. Proverbs four says
-
this let your eyes look straight ahead, your eyelids look
-
right before you ponder the path of your feet, and
-
let your ways we established. Do not turn to the
-
right or to the left. Remove your foot from evil.
-
Now these thoughts were fast string. It was continuing to
-
really get to me, get to me. Now, just mindure
-
this happened in that short span about two km. It
-
just hit me. The emotions flooded, and I just started
-
to get so anxious. And when I look to the
-
to the ways, it's so funny, right, it looked the ways,
-
the way of the Lord encouraged me, encourage me the
-
north way? What is your north way? Friends? Next light please? Now,
-
if I have a more creative title, this would be it.
-
It says, don't rush the bush again when I you
-
look at your neighbor and say, don't rush the bush.
-
Don't rush the bush. All right, So let me give
-
you some context. We are obviously talking about the burning bush.
-
Then Moses encountered and some contexts about Moses. Moses grew
-
up in all the ways of Egypt's knowledge. Okay, he
-
was adopted into the family through the daughter of Pharaoh,
-
and he was entitled to all the wisdom or the
-
richest or the glory of Egypt, right because the daughter
-
loved him, loved him so much, Pharaoh's daughter, and he
-
was there. He was there until he was about forty
-
and perhaps even the next in line to take over
-
the throne. Our long story shot. You notice, at the
-
age of forty, he came across a Hebrew and the
-
Egyptian and they were fighting. And then the Egyptian was
-
looking down on the Hebrew. He was bullying the Hebrew
-
in mis com paraphrase Hea, and Moses got so angry
-
and in his anger, in his own sense of judgment,
-
in his own sense of judgment, without a clear instruction
-
from the Lord. Now read it, because in Exodus you'll
-
read it. Read it that that actually Moses did not
-
receive a clear command from the Lord kill the Egyptian,
-
set my people free. Not yet. In fact, some may
-
argue that, hey, Moses is not in the wrong, Why
-
because the then comments written yet so therefore that share
-
not murder is not in effect. Hello, the first murder
-
in the Bible was already committed, the brothers Able and Kine.
-
And when Kane murdered Able, and God asked Kane, what
-
did you just do? Kane said, am I my brother's keeper.
-
And as a result, Kane was sent out of the garden.
-
He was sent out, and he was in a place
-
where he he he there was a punishment there was
-
upon him. The blessing was there, was apposed to be
-
on him, was no longer there. And the failed the
-
Lord was no longer on him. So Moses, in his
-
own right and in his own wisdom and knowledge, he
-
should have already known this. So when he killed the
-
Egyptian in cold blood, it was due to his own anger.
-
It wasn't something that the Lord actually commanded of Moses
-
to do, all right, So when Moses executed his judgment,
-
that led to him fleeing. And you know where he
-
fled to, right, He fled to a place called Median Uh,
-
and he met with the priest of Median. Priest of Median,
-
which is Rual. Some of you may know him as Jetro,
-
two names, but it's the same person. He's the same person,
-
but we call him Jetro most all the time. And
-
had a son, had a son with Zippora, which is
-
which he named Girlsham, Girlsham. Some context, okay, some of you,
-
if you want to know more, read read the book
-
and you'll know more about Moses' early life. And the
-
word girlsham, which is his son, also means exile. You'll
-
know that he named his son exile. That's how he felt.
-
Sometimes when you name your son and name things that
-
you really in your life, it actually reflects what you
-
have went through. Right, you experience the joy of the
-
Lord in your in your in your life. Sometimes you
-
name your son or kid something to do with joy.
-
I don't know something that you have went through, something
-
that is personal to you. It's definitely something that you
-
don't just wake up one morning and say, okay, maybe
-
I can call you Bob. There must be some thought
-
that goes into naming of your child, right, parents in
-
this house, I hope you can resonate with me. Right,
-
it's not just simply even if the simply one like
-
oh I like butterflies, so I name him, there is
-
some taught Nay, of course, you like Moses name his
-
son exile. That's what he felt. He felt exiled, He
-
felt maybe even treated unfairly because in his own mind
-
he thought, hey, I'm doing this for the Lord. You
-
are taking advantage against your people, God, your people, and
-
I'm fighting for you. But let let's make this clear.
-
He did not receive any action from the Lord, but
-
he took it into his own judgment. And after forty years,
-
can you imagine this, Moses, forty years. The Bible does
-
not say, and God spoke to him in the first year,
-
third year, fifth year. No, the Bible does not say that.
-
The Bible says after forty years, right after forty years.
-
And we know this in the Book of X. If
-
you just read Exodus, we won't notice. We won't notice
-
because it's not written in Exodus, but it's written in X.
-
Next line forty years, seven thirty. You notice seven thirty,
-
when forty years had passed and the Angel of the
-
Lord appeared to him in the flame of fire, in
-
the bush, in the wilderness in Mount Sinai. Forty years,
-
forty years of silence, forty years of no directions of
-
you in this room may feel that way that God
-
has not spoken to you. And when you start to question, yeah,
-
I am willing to do it in your timing, Lord,
-
But Lord, you need to speak, You need to let
-
me know some You're at a crossroad, you're looking for
-
a job, you're in a place where you need to
-
make an important decision in your life. But yet you
-
do not hear from the Lord. You don't hear from
-
the Lord. And perhaps Moses was in that situation that circumstances.
-
For forty years, God has not spoken next light, Please
-
don't rush the bush. But when the bush appears to you,
-
I pray you know what to do to get into
-
the bush. Next light, getting into the bush Exodus Tree one.
-
If you have your Bible, please speap to it. One
-
day Moses was tending the flock of his father in
-
law Jetro the priests or medi and he led the
-
flock far into the wilderness and came in the Sinai,
-
the mountain of God, and the Angel of the Lord
-
appeared to him in a flame of fire from the
-
midst of a bush. So he looked and behold the
-
bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
-
Then Moses said, I will now turn aside and see
-
this great site. Why the bush does not burn. So
-
when the Lord saw that, he turned aside to look,
-
God caught him from the midst of the bush and
-
said Moses, Moses, and he said, here I am next
-
thing you can keep on this slide don't move on
-
until I give you an instruction to move on. I
-
was at a recent prayer rally. Sow how many of
-
you were at pray recently? Pr four Y encourage you
-
the next time we have and combined event like that,
-
come come and pray because you know, just to share
-
with you. Even though I'm a pastor of this church,
-
there are times in which I do feel tired. Right,
-
there are times in which I do feel the tragic.
-
But I had I was convicted because when it comes
-
to pick a ball, I don't get tired or the
-
tragic eleven ten o'clock or so I go, but you're not,
-
am PM, I'll go, I'll go. So I was convicted.
-
You know, when it comes to God? Why why when
-
it comes to pick a ball? Can when it comes
-
to God cannot? Okay, fine, fine, fine, pray, let's go.
-
Let's go. Here's the LaunchU turne over there, Yes, let's
-
go in the midst of everyone. Perhaps I was dragging
-
my feet a little bit. But it's about getting there.
-
It's about getting there. It's not about how you start,
-
it's about how you finish. So I got to pray.
-
I got to pray. My wife, I said at the back,
-
because I was feeling a bit down right before that
-
we were praying for our youth. I was sharing from
-
my personal quiet time about how David was chosen, but
-
how David was chosen despite uh, you know, being the one,
-
the last choice, the last choice, even not even a choice.
-
He was actually at the back and the father did
-
not even offer him when Samuel came. It was the
-
last dress. So I was, I was encouraging. I was
-
in a place where I was I was supposed to
-
be a pastor. I was supposed to encourage. But yet
-
deep down in my heart, I also kind of resonated
-
that that's why it's my quiet time because I knew
-
also maybe I'm the eight choice on nine choice. Maybe
-
I'm not even a choice. But the only reason why
-
perhaps I'm operating under the annoi day of the Lord,
-
is because I said, yes, So it's not about how
-
much choice you are, it's not about who you are.
-
But I was feeling a strain down. So you may
-
you may be wondering, you may be thinking they'll do
-
pastors feel down passest feel said yeah, I was. I
-
was very discouraged and pray and then I pastor then
-
issued a call. I don't know if you're there. Pastor
-
was calling forth Deafney, who is deaf and she needed
-
to be healed, so the death needed to be healed.
-
Deafney and uh Defney came forth and Pastor prayed, and
-
I was just in my mind because the few weeks
-
before Pastor preached here in this place and he was
-
very vulnerable with all of you. In fact, it was
-
the first time he released it. He said that he
-
wanted to raise com under Jeff. It was something of
-
the Lord that was not learning hard and the reason
-
why he could not do it. You're heard from him. Okay,
-
if you don't know the story, listen to the MDG.
-
But he was sharing it and I was just praying.
-
I think it was time. It was time for Malaysia
-
to witness science and miracles. But yet in my spirit
-
I was down. But yet I was meant to go
-
and pray for someone. And when I was up there
-
and the person that came to me, I tell you what,
-
I was like, what do you need to prayer for nothing?
-
Then why are you're up here? The call was if
-
you need prayers of what, come to the front. I
-
was there. I was really I was ready to prayer.
-
I was like pushing on my side, what do you
-
need prayer for a brother? Nothing? Okay? So can you
-
imagine also really getting so like editated, you know, like,
-
oh God, just just pray and normal prayer of blessing Lord.
-
You put something on his heart. I spray it really,
-
really regardingly, and I had to repent. I had to repent.
-
I tell you, the repentance came in such a way
-
that I can even explain. I can't even explain. It
-
was an experience that I prayed that you one day
-
go through if you have not gone through it, because
-
it's such a sweet experience. As I was praying before him,
-
I started hearing. And you ask my wife or any
-
one of you who knows me, well, I don't hear.
-
Maybe the only time I will cry is when my
-
and my love once funeral. Maybe, but I don't hear.
-
I was once accused of having fouls tears, crocodile tears.
-
They said, you know, they're just trying to get into
-
my emotions. Therefore you're trying to put crocodile in. And
-
it was true. It was true. It was with my wife.
-
I tried to be emotional because she was getting a
-
bit sad at the time with my girlfriend. And then
-
I went and take a deck of water. I put
-
it in my eye and this little cry so that
-
she can feel she can feel me, you know. Yeah,
-
it was true. And she cut me. She cut me
-
and said, you are not crying properly, like it's not
-
fake one. So it's true. I rarely shed a tear, really,
-
but I tell you what that moment that day, tears
-
were just streaming down my eyes. You ask my wife.
-
I think she was shocked with one in the world
-
opened to this guy, because she never see me crying,
-
even if Liverpool were to lose, so I wouldn't cry.
-
And I was just in this place where let me
-
just put it in explain words, let me just describe
-
it this way. It was my burning Bush movement. Can
-
I shure you, can I be vulneray with you. It
-
was my burning Bush moment. I experienced God in a
-
way that I have not experienced him before, not even
-
the first time I accepted him to my heart. I
-
was happy back then I was a young teen accepted
-
him in my heart. But yet no change, no change.
-
I think it was still the same, still being disobedient,
-
still being dishonoring, still lasting young boy teen comments, nineteen
-
years old, accepted Christ. Nothing changed, But this time I pray.
-
In a moment in which I was so vulnerable, the
-
Lord met me where I stood, and then I looked
-
at the left and I hear definitely saying that she
-
could hear something. Wow. I continued to cry uncontrollably. I
-
went up to to mye with Rachelle, and I don't
-
know if you notice, there was supposed to be like
-
a whole row of people beside me on my left.
-
The next time I opened my eyes, all days appeared.
-
I thought they were raptured and I was left behind.
-
But my wife was there, so no, no, if she
-
was if rapture, she will be gone, she'd be gone.
-
She'll be gone, She'll be taken up. So I was
-
just so vulnerable. I was just so filled with so
-
much emotions. And I tell you what, it wasn't emotions
-
of sadness. It was happiness. And explained to my wife
-
after the episode was over, and I just looked to
-
her and I say, I feel so happy. I feel
-
so happy. Something in my heart just switched on. Wow,
-
it can happen. To a believer. Yes, yes, one day,
-
I pray it happens over you because when you see
-
the light, which is Jesus Christ. So that experience was real,
-
a miracle took place. That was where I at. After
-
the service all ended, I continued to cry. It took
-
a while before the tears stopped and I was reflecting.
-
I was reflecting, Lord, thank you for giving me the experience.
-
Thank you for giving me that moment with you. And
-
I want to share with you how real God is
-
and about his timing because his timing is impeccable. His
-
timing is not our timing where we feel that we
-
need him the most. Where we go through a situation
-
where we need God the most and we say God,
-
please show up, and he does not show up, and
-
you say, God, you're not real but yet, and you're
-
in a place of maybe not even expecting that the
-
Lord is going to move in your life. He moves,
-
and when he moves, you shake uncontrollably. So God's timing
-
is impeccable. But God's timing is not your timing. Do
-
not expect God to move in your timing, because if
-
you expect him to move in your timing, you become
-
God and he's no longer God. So I want to
-
share with you based on this story of the burning bush,
-
what is the tree? Things that we can pick up
-
next sight, please, the three things that we can pick
-
up about how we can actually encounter this bush, Because
-
when this bush came before Moses, there was things that
-
he did in order to hear from the Lord. The
-
first thing that he did was he was tending to
-
the flock. He was tending the flow. You can see
-
that now Moses was tending to the flock of Jatu.
-
There are things in your life that the Lord has
-
given to you, that has said to you, the things
-
in this life that you have already heard very closely
-
from the Lord. But yet sometimes we are always after
-
this next step from the Lord when the Lord has
-
not spoken for me. It's simple. If the Lord has
-
not spoken, that means nothing has changed. So why are
-
we constantly looking for what's next in your own timing
-
and not the Lord's. And that was what was happening
-
to me. The first step is to ten to be faithful,
-
to be faithful to the sheep that God has given
-
to you. If if this season is about your family,
-
then put your family as a focus. If this season
-
is about your job, then put your job as your focus.
-
The Lord has not said anything, then don't allow that
-
head hunter to be God, because some of us get
-
hunted by the head and our heat gets hunted and
-
chopped away. And sometimes we look to the head hunter
-
as if they are God just because they offer two
-
ac salary. But God didn't say move because with God
-
and God most there's always going to be an act
-
of surrender, there's always going to be an obedience. So
-
if your movement does not imply you to be obedient,
-
I don't think that it's God. If your movement is
-
very comfortable, I don't think that is God. Now can
-
it happen, perhaps, But you need to be very sure
-
that you heard from the Lord, because this journey is
-
not a journey that I can help you and make
-
decisions for you. This journey is a journey that you
-
make yourself, and honoring God is something that you have
-
to do yourself your own life. So you have to
-
make sure you're turning to the sheep, turning to the flock,
-
and when you are tending to the flock, and mind
-
you are forty years sir, I mean it's even for
-
one day. If he was not in this moment, you
-
won't go. Oh, maybe today I shall not tend to
-
the flock. I don't think he would have experienced this
-
bush moment. And he wouldn't even know because it's forty years.
-
Forty years is a long time. Moses was forty when
-
he fled from Pharaoh. He will fled, and only forty
-
years later eighty he had this experience with the Lord.
-
First step, you have to constantly be faithful to what
-
God has saven to you in your life. And the
-
second step is that when there's something that comes your way,
-
you will have to ensure to turn. You have to
-
ensure the turn. And Moses said, I will now turn
-
aside and see this great psyching. Imagine. I don't know
-
how many times in my own life that something has happened,
-
something has occurred, and it's of the Lord. And just
-
because my eyes was not fixated on him, I missed it.
-
Some of words here today we have to acknowledge a
-
God moment in your life, and go is saying, and
-
he could come in a still small voice, my dear daughter,
-
have you prayed today? My dear daughter, have you spoken
-
to me today? And yet we put it aside because
-
that million dollar deal is coming in and say, Lord,
-
I will deal with you later. And then when the
-
deal eventually breaks down at night, and you go like, God,
-
why weren't you there with me? Maybe because you have
-
not opened your ears to hear, You have not turned
-
to the bush, and you miss the bush. Can you
-
see that? And finally, finally, when the Lord calls you
-
from the bush, in that quiet time, in that personal space,
-
you have to respond. You can't just turn and go like, wow,
-
what a beautiful bush. Wow, what a beautiful Bible. The
-
chapters here are amazing. All right? Then the Lord calls,
-
The Lord calls, and when the Lord calls, when the
-
Lord calls, you have to take action. Next light will
-
show you the treaties for you today. You have to
-
tend to the flock, have to turn towards God, and
-
you have to take action. Moses took action by responding here,
-
I am Moses, Moses. Here, I am Michael, Michael. Here,
-
I am. God is calling out to some of you
-
today and some of you have not yet said here
-
I am. I want to encourage you today that the
-
Lord is a lot of second chances, and he will
-
constantly reach out. He's constantly speaking. The Holy Spirit is
-
always speaking. We have to respond, We have to respond.
-
Let's see what we can learn from Moses' response. All right,
-
next light, about who God is, his timing in his ways.
-
Don't beat around the bush. Don't beat around bush. So
-
now that you're at a bush, you add a bush
-
with God. God is speaking to you. What do you
-
do next? Some of us like to beat around the bush.
-
Have you heard of this sentence before? He Stop beating
-
around the bush, Libilly, get to the point. Stop like
-
giving excuses left right, center. Stop beating around the bush.
-
Let's go to Moses Exodus. Moses Exodus left the tree,
-
Verse eleven. Next light says this, but Moses said to God,
-
who am I? That I should go to Pharaoh and
-
that I should bring the children of Israel of Egypt. Now,
-
after forty years, finally Moses had a face to face
-
encounter with God the burning bush, and where God given
-
Moses the instruction to take to deliver his people out
-
of Egypt. The first thing he said, The first thing
-
he said was this, who am I? That I should
-
go to Pharaoh and that I should bring the children
-
of Israel? Egypt. You know this story right next like
-
he says this, it is not about you, It is
-
about God. When you hear from the Lord, the Lord
-
tells you, Daniel, go to Wesley Methodist Church, sorry school,
-
maybe one day will be church, but Wesley Methodist School,
-
International School, and share share a story with them. But
-
who am I God? Who am I? That they should
-
listen to me? It is not about you, It is
-
about God. And that's what I want you to catch today.
-
God said, I will certainly be with you. Can you
-
see that Moses's question is who am I? God's answer was,
-
I will certainly be with you. The object of the
-
answer was about God. The object of the question was
-
about me. It is not about us. That's what we
-
can learn of. Maybe Moses's lack of understanding of who
-
God is in this season of his life, how great
-
he was. But yet forty years. If you spend forty
-
years approaching God, if you spend forty years waiting on
-
the Lord knowing who God is, you won't ask this question.
-
And you'll see that later when you see Jetro's response.
-
All right, but let's go to the next slide. So
-
first time, first time, first doubt, Then Moses said to God, Indeed,
-
when I come to the truth of Israel and say
-
to them, the God of your father's has sent me
-
to you, and they say to me, what is his name?
-
What shall I say to them? That's how you read this.
-
You may go like, yeah, Moses is just trying to clarify.
-
He's trying trying to make things right. But next, leight say,
-
is this next thing that we can learn from Moses.
-
It is not about what others say. It's about knowing
-
God in your own personal life. God had to teach
-
Moses who he was for forty years of our own lives.
-
What are we doing? Are we waiting for this encounter
-
with the Lord? And when God meets you and says, Albert,
-
uproot and go to Perlice right now, how would your
-
response be? Because if Albert has spent the last fifteen years,
-
because before Paul, when for his missionary trips, he had
-
to spend a time along time ten plus years preparing.
-
And when it's finally time to go, Paul, when our
-
preparation is key, what are we doing in the midst
-
of our preparation. It's not about others say. It's not
-
about what others say, and they say to me, what
-
is his name? What shall I say to them? And
-
God is in all his power and all his grace,
-
He gave Moses the answer. And God said to Moses,
-
I am who I am? Amen. The next thing I
-
can learned goes all the way to chapter four. This
-
is a second time already. Can you imagine if I'm
-
I don't say that, if I'm God, But if I'm
-
in the position where God is and I'm asking someone,
-
empowering someone to go, and he gives me so many
-
excuses and replies, I'll get frustrated by this time. But
-
God is so patient, all right. Chapter four, verse one
-
says this. Then Moses answers and says, but suppose they
-
will not believe me or listen to my voice. Suppose
-
they say, the Lord has not appeared to you. There's
-
so much doubt. There was so much doubt in my
-
mind was when I was on the way to this school.
-
Yet the answer is simple, and we will see that
-
later recites it is simple, really next like third thing,
-
third thing, third time, third time of doubt. It is
-
not about your skill or ability, friends, It's about what
-
God can do with what is in your hands. Because
-
how God responded to Moses was a miraculous sight. You know,
-
if they do not believe you do not hear from you,
-
they say that you don't have not heard from the Lord.
-
Perform this science and wonders. Like this stick that is
-
in your hands, this rod, throw it to the ground.
-
You will turn to a snake, grab it by its tail,
-
and you will know. And people see this, they will
-
know that I'm with you. But I pray, I pray
-
and I pray that our journey in this life would
-
not be God show me who you are. Rather, Lord,
-
show me what you can do with what is in
-
my hands. Because I have faith to believe that you
-
can work. And it's not about who I am. It's
-
about who you are. It's not about your skill and ability.
-
It's about what God can do with what is in
-
your hands. Amen. That's what we can learn from Moses.
-
He's a wonderful man. He wrote the five first five books.
-
But he had his stoubs. We have our doubs, We
-
have our trials, our persecutions, our temptations. But yet it
-
is not about us. Next light, third time. How many
-
have you heard this story, this statement that time is
-
the charm. The time is enough, three warning and you're gone.
-
Three access, you're out. Well with God, it's not even
-
three access. It was for excess. Let's look at what
-
he said. Then Moses said to the Lord, Oh my Lord,
-
this is the worst one. In my opinion, I am
-
not eloquent. Hello, my friend, after forty years of education
-
in one of the top countries, you're saying you're not eloquent.
-
We noticed when Steven said it in the Book of Acts.
-
This man is by far not described as not eloquent.
-
By far, he has so much wisdom in his words,
-
so much accuracy in his words, But in the midst
-
of his creator, after three times of doubting who God is,
-
what God can do, after everything that God has said,
-
Oh my lord, so you like to say, oh my God,
-
right now, this is version. I'm not eloquent. Neither before
-
I'll catch this because if the before, but I can
-
still understand. But neither before nor sin. You have spoken
-
to your servant, some of you, even after God has
-
spoken to us, we still feel that God can move.
-
And we've got to get out of that hole, because
-
you're going to go down this hole that you can't
-
get out from. It's okay to start slow, but it's
-
not about how you start. It is about how you finish. Friends,
-
You can stumble along the way. You may go to
-
the sidelines. Said this yesterday, but you get to get
-
back on the track, stay in your lane, finish the race.
-
I am not eloquent, neither before or since you're spoken
-
to your servant. I am slow speech and slow of tongue.
-
Now by this time, you know that God was already
-
something to be angry at the anger of the Lord.
-
He says in the verse, the anger of the Lord?
-
What's there? The Lord say to him who has made this?
-
Who has made men's mouths? So he's he's studying to teacher. Really,
-
Gods something to teach, like Moses, last chance, last chance.
-
After forty years, I haven't spoken to you, and now
-
I'm speaking to you, and yet you're giving me excuses
-
of the excuses, of the excuses of the excusers. Who
-
a minded? I have to convince you. Hello, Sometimes we
-
feel that we need God to convince us. Please, friends,
-
do not allow God to pass you by, because it's
-
such a shame on the break troths that you may
-
go through. If you have said yes to God when
-
you had a chance to say yes to God. But God,
-
in his grace and his mercy next like the anger
-
of the Lord. God's anger upon those who does not believe.
-
God was angry. But yet God, in his grace, on
-
all his grace, still uses us despite all our flaws. Amen,
-
how are you happy to hear this that God still
-
uses us despite all our flaws, despite who we are,
-
despite how we feel about ourselves. Because Moses was definitely eloquent,
-
but he felt that he wasn't eloquent. He felt that
-
he wasn't ready, He felt like he didn't know God.
-
But yet, in all of his flaws, God still used
-
someone that was not even ready. And apostles say this
-
recently at a gathering that I was at. God uses
-
someone even though he was not ready. Some of us
-
need to be ready before we are used by the Lord.
-
I was not ready to become a pastor. I did
-
not have a Bible degree. I did not have a
-
certificate on my wall. And when I came across multiple
-
different leaders, the first question they asked me is whereas
-
your Bible degree? And how do I get to feel
-
about that? Sometimes you feel stepped on, You feel like
-
you got no BIB degree. You don't deserve to share
-
the word of God. Hello, there's the days of the
-
Old Testament. God are days you do not do you
-
have to be a high priest anymore to come into
-
the Holy of Holies. The wild was torn from top
-
to bottom the moment Jesus was resurrected from the grave,
-
and we have a direct access to God. But yet,
-
but yet, again and again. Sometimes we allow the definition
-
of this world and this world's definition to define us.
-
And Moses allowed that. But yet, in all of his grace,
-
God still use Moses. Amen, God can use you. Friends.
-
Let me just introduce you a simple way of responding
-
to God. Okay, what God will be pleased with? Nextight?
-
So Moses after four times of pushing the lot away,
-
and by the way, God was angry. So God said, Nah,
-
a Lord, if you don't one, you cannot. Don't worry
-
you just be my mouthpiece. I'll get Aaron to kind
-
and speak for you. So, actually, if you look at it,
-
he already missed something, you know, he missed the chance
-
to speak out of his own mouth for the Lord.
-
Aaron had to speak for him. Can you imagine that
-
someone else is doing what you are supposed to do.
-
But yet God still used. God still used Moses. So
-
Moses went and return after hearing, okay, Aaron will come
-
and speak for me. Okay, fine. Moses went and returned
-
to jeded Thro, his father in law, and said to him,
-
please let me go and return to my bedroom. Who
-
are in Egypt and see whether they are still alive? Wow,
-
look at this response, And Jedro said to Moses, go
-
in peace. Who are you going with? What? I'm you
-
coming back as my child? What are you doing with
-
why my daughter? No? Jetro's respond was go in no question,
-
no doubts, no clarification. Sometimes we like to clarify things God,
-
when you say, this is what you actually mean. What
-
does it mean to give? What does it mean to
-
be a blessing? What does it mean to sacrifice? Can
-
you please elaborate? God? But yet sometimes the answer that
-
the Lord is looking for it's just three simple words.
-
Go in peace? Go in whose peace? If you're closely
-
following God's response to Moses, you will find out that
-
it is the peace of God that Moses should have
-
went with the authority, the annoying thing, the power of God,
-
not about himself, but about his creed. I think we
-
can all learn from Jetue. We can all learn from Jetrue.
-
Go in peace, friends, Huh you mean I have to
-
minister to a bunch of students who ninety percent are
-
not believers and eighty percent don't be English. Go in
-
peace because it's not about you. It's about me. Go
-
in peace. Go in peace and the peace of God.
-
There's a pass all understanding about God, your heart and
-
your minds in Christ Jesus. Amen, Amen, Next life, I'm
-
going to share You're bringing you along with my journey. Okay,
-
on how I actually recognize God's timing next life. I
-
don't know if you can see this clearly, but this
-
was my ways that I showed you earlier. And now
-
I was struggling again. It happening just a span of
-
ten minutes. I was struggling in the jam. It shows
-
blue or whatever, but trust me, it was jam. Ah.
-
I looked, I looked, so the first thing I saw
-
was northwest, which I read as northway. The second thing
-
I saw was DC. Can you see that I'm not? Oh? Lord,
-
you are really speaking to me now? And I just
-
share with you something And this is personal Okay, this
-
is personal. The Lord has always ministered to me in
-
science and vision. Maybe because I'm named Daniel, I don't know,
-
but I have the ability. I'm beginning to operate under
-
that anointing now beginning to learn how to operate under
-
that gifting of dreams and interpretation of visions, something that
-
has I started to recently discover. Okay, the first time
-
I recognized it was when I was supposed to do
-
a pre marriage counseling with Rachelle and I and I
-
in my mind straight away I had a dream and
-
in my dream, doctor jail and but the Jack over
-
my counselors, and when will receive a call from them? Nothing,
-
And we have a lot of counselors in next church,
-
and specifically that two names came about, and the Lord
-
spoke to me, they will be a counselors. I'm like
-
in my own heart, right, I'm like, wow. Of course
-
we felt that they were really a good matural ass.
-
Three days later they called. Recently, I also had another
-
dream that I had to interpret and it was a
-
very hard dream to interpret, and God willing I will
-
be able to do more for his glory. But it
-
was a very difficult, very difficult. And I will share
-
and when the right time has come, But for now
-
it's between me and the Lord and my leaders. But
-
when I saw this, this vision came upon me and
-
I saw DC. It almost feels like God is telling
-
me the way Jalan the road, Daniel Chong, look look clearly,
-
look at Daniel chapter one, verse five, and I will
-
speak to you. Daniel, chapter one, verse five. You can
-
see the roads over there. One shook five and I looked,
-
and when I came back. This was after I came
-
back because I was struggling. So I was coming back
-
and I was trying to prepare for today, and I
-
went and I looked, and when I look at this,
-
I was in awe of what God was doing in
-
my life. And I pray the same over you, because again,
-
let's remind you, the question is what am I supposed
-
to do when I encountered the Lord? The question is
-
what am I supposed to do if God is quiet?
-
The question is what is God's timing. It's not about us,
-
it's not about my timing, it's not about my understanding.
-
But yet Daniel chapter one, verse five says, and the
-
King appointed for them a daily provision of the king's
-
delicacies and the wine that he drank in three years
-
of training the top service. Now we're talking about Daniel,
-
Sharedred Miched and Manigo. We're talking about the young man
-
that the King has kidnapped and brought to Baby Lawn
-
from their own town and their own home that was destroyed.
-
They were kidnapped, they were kidnapped away. And this four
-
young men was entitled to all all that Moses had. Remember,
-
Moses was also entitled to the education. And now you're
-
given the King's education, the king's provision, the king's training.
-
How many of you would be amazed with that? The
-
King picked up his phone and call you, called Kju, Kju,
-
can you deliver one thousand packets to the King's palace? Now?
-
How would your response me? But then I have to
-
go king, and I read this. The first thought that
-
came to her mind was next night, what is your source? Friends?
-
What is your source? What is your source of strength?
-
What is your source of direction? What is your source
-
of joy? Because recognizing God's timing would take understanding, would
-
take understanding what is your source? Who is your source?
-
Because if your source of strength is the affirmation that
-
comes from the students, the affirmation that comes from your marketplace,
-
your boss, the affirmation that comes from your pastor. Then
-
is no wonder why sometimes our well runs dry, because
-
our pastors, our bosses are still men, and we are
-
not able to give you the water that you can
-
drink from and you will never curse again. The only
-
thing they can do that is Jesus. So what is
-
your sol Daniel, what is your sauce? You're feeling down,
-
You're feeling weak, You're feeling like you have nothing to
-
offer to these students in Wesley Methodist. What is your sauce?
-
Who are you looking for? You're looking for the King's delicacies?
-
Are you looking for my daily break? Because my daily
-
break says that I am more than sufficient, more than
-
not just sufficient. Sorry Lord, sorry Lord. And as if
-
there was not enough, he had to bombard me with
-
the next Jalan Jalan one jalan DC one stroked the team.
-
Let's go to that slide. Jalan one DC stroke one
-
stroked the tea. I tell you I can't make this uppler.
-
Just look at the image. Seriously, just look at the image.
-
Next next light, next point. No, no, no, no, no, You're
-
going too far please go back back back back back back. Yeah,
-
where's the point number two? Point number two? Josh? Thanks, yeah,
-
and then the verse the verse please before that, no
-
one shoop the teen. Yes, thank you x TV, thank
-
you for following me. One shoot the teen says this, Daniel,
-
chapter d C. One shoop the teen. Then let our
-
appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the
-
young man who ate the portion of the King's delicacies,
-
and as you see, if he deal with your servants, Daniel,
-
how is your posture? How is your countenance? Are you
-
going to walk up into this place looking like a
-
like a long mangos teen? Are you going to walk
-
up to this long place, long, this place of of
-
where you're supposed to minister my glory and look like
-
you are someone that doesn't look like yourself? Because someoneers
-
have to watch a posture. When I slouch, I look
-
like bad. My wife always had to remind me. Then
-
wash up bush and I went home. There let me
-
do I want a home can darling? At home? Can?
-
At home? Can? But when you're outside at the wash
-
a posture? Okay? Yes, dear, so ways have I washed
-
a posture with God? Because sometimes we tend to throw
-
a tantrum when people see us out there. They don't
-
recognize you as a Christian because your posture is not
-
one that is of a Christian. Wow, because if you
-
take my daily bread, if you purpose in your heart,
-
scan your heart. Because Daniel got into this place with
-
his three friends because he purposed in his heart not
-
to defoul himself. And yes, he got into this place
-
because he did not take off the king delicacies. Test me,
-
test me for ten days, test me against the others
-
that will eat all the beef lam steel, and I
-
will just take the veggies ten days. What is your
-
posture when you walk into the house of the Lord?
-
What is your posture when you walk into your marketplace? Daniel?
-
What is your posture? Do not walk into Wesley Methodists
-
with this attitude? Now, mind you again, I only got
-
all of this after when I finished preaching. I was
-
sat in my car right outside Wesley Methodists, and all
-
this came pouring in. And I was just overwhelmed because
-
I actually went into Wesley Methodist with a posture of defeat.
-
But yet, like mostes, God still use me. I thought
-
that there was nothing that I did, but later I
-
will share a few testimonies that came out from that day.
-
God still used me in all of his anger, but
-
yet his grace that is more than sufficient. He still
-
used me. But friends, please do not take him for granted.
-
Don't take his grace for grunted. Scan the posture of
-
your heart. Scan who you are next, light Chalan DC
-
one Sroke seventeen. I'm not done with you yet, Daniel,
-
like how you like how Moses rejected me four times?
-
This is your third time, already third time. Listen, listen
-
very carefully. As for these four young men, wow, four
-
points four young men. God gave them knowledge and skill
-
in all literature and wisdom. You can you see the peril,
-
the peril of how and when Moses was so doubtful,
-
doubting Moses, and yet God says, I'm going to give
-
you this wisdom. I'm gonna give you these signs, and
-
under my sign, you're gonna use what is in your
-
hands out of obedience. And miracle also happened because what
-
the world says is that you got to eat the meat.
-
What God says is you got to eat my meat,
-
my body that is broken for you. You got to
-
eat it. It is your daily bread. It's not just
-
something that we do during Good Friday or something that
-
we do when you're going to something. No, it's about
-
remembering what Jesus done for us on the cross. And
-
as I remember, and as you remember, and as you partake,
-
and as you dwell, and as you be and in
-
part take it in. God gave them knowledge and skill
-
in all literature and wisdom all and Daniel had understanding
-
of all vision and dreams. That day, when I read
-
this line, because my name is Daniel, I begin to say, God, why, Why?
-
Why did I even reach this place? Why? And my
-
next word was I'm sorry, Lord, I'm sorry that I
-
went into this place with this tree postures. The number one,
-
I was not partaking of the daily bit in this
-
specific moment. Number two I wasn't scanning my heart. And
-
number three I didn't know that. I didn't go in
-
the anointing authority that God has given to me. I
-
went in fear, the fear of the And it's not
-
the fear of the Lord that I went with. I
-
went with the fear of the world. Would the people
-
think about me? And you're talking about a preacher who
-
has preached for two years already, and maybe even five
-
years before that. You're talking about someone like this, and
-
yet I went through all of that. I'm sharing with
-
you today. Why am I sharing all of this review
-
because I want to encourage you. The third point is supernatural.
-
God would give you the check you're operating. Don't be
-
afraid of the supernatural. Don't be afraid of the wisdom,
-
the understanding of all literature. Don't be afraid of that
-
because some of us are okay with the part that
-
says heal the sick, but yet not okay if the
-
part raised the death, because heal the sick and raised
-
the dead appear in the same line when God spoke
-
to his disciples, go into every household before you preach
-
the gospel heal the sick, raise the dead. But yet
-
we're okay to ask God for a prayer to get
-
rid of cough and fever. But yet when someone talks
-
about raising the date, we go like, that's blash for me. No,
-
it say's the same sentence. And that's why when Pastor
-
was praying for Deafney, I believe that it was one
-
of the trigger points that in my own life that
-
bush came and when I saw that bush, I felt
-
that burning heat, sensation and tears of that rolling down.
-
The next time I opened my ears, I hurt someone
-
else opening their eyears I heard, I heard the miracle.
-
You have to understand that as you're operating in the
-
ways of the Lord, miracles, science and wonders will show.
-
He also says in scripture that people will believe when
-
they see science and wonders. So, friends, do not be
-
afraid to operate in the anointing of the Lord. All
-
of you have the anointing. As long as the Holy
-
Spirit is in your heart, you have the anointing. Do
-
not doubt yourself, Do not dubt yourself. Do not despise
-
your youth. You do not despise who you are. Amen. Next,
-
like please, this will begin to this blew my mind,
-
but I want to share with all of you this journey. Okay,
-
So we're done with DC, right, Daniel Chung and I'm
-
in ex church. So next thing I saw was seven
-
forty nine. I tell you, I can't make this up
-
because let's look at X chapter seven, verse forty nine.
-
Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstore. What
-
house will you build for me? Daniel, or what is
-
the place of my rest? Where am I going to rest?
-
The son of Man has nowhere to put his hit on,
-
no pillow, no rest. But yet you want to rest,
-
Yet you want comfort, Yet you want to be comforted
-
by the voice of this world, the teachers, the students,
-
No Daniel preach the word. What is this place that
-
you're building for me? Where is this place off my rest?
-
Next like, so can you imagine I'm already getting hit
-
by arrows and the like non stop me at this point.
-
At this point I was like, God, I'm sorry, God enough,
-
I can't take this anymore. And if you saw the picture,
-
it actually says arrival seven forty nine. So I had
-
to arrive and an understanding that God is not looking for
-
a physical building of the church, more so the church
-
being activated and operating under the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
I had to come to the realization that I need
-
the Holy Spirit. And sometimes when we are so fixated
-
on this world, we do not see what is there
-
in plain sight next light, we do not see. What
-
is there in plain sight we do not see. We
-
see the DC one five, one thirteen, one seventeen. But
-
what we do not see is the one nineteen that
-
is there all the while I do not see that.
-
Do you see the Google maps on my ways? It
-
wasn't there one nineteen. And when I saw that it
-
was one nineteen, because I was going to this place
-
called Bundastrey Gofields, I felt led to turn to First Corinthians,
-
chapter six, verse nineteen because I had six minutes left
-
to reach and I have six minutes left to wrap
-
up this word. And this hit me like a truck.
-
It says, or do you not know that your body
-
is a temple of the Holy Spirit? I can't make
-
these up. Friends. What house are you gonna build for me?
-
Where am I going to rest? The answer is you your hearts.
-
That's where you're going to rest. That's where I'm going
-
to rest. I'm going to dwell. I'm going to abide
-
in you as you abide me. Some words do not
-
treat our body as well? I, for one did not.
-
I read ninety four g early this year, and year
-
after year, I gave promises empty promises to my wife.
-
I promised my wife and I when I engage to her,
-
and I said, in a year's time, I will be fit.
-
And I tell you what our wedding for those I
-
looked like a plump hand even buttoned my jacket. I
-
can't even buttoned the jacket that I pre made for myself,
-
because when I made it three months later, I grew
-
it even even fatter promises of the promises, of the
-
promises I gave to my wife, and I did not
-
accomplish it year after year, and this year I told myself,
-
I need to do something about it. So I'm still journeyings. Still,
-
I'm still on a journey. I don't know whether you
-
all noticed that I lost a little bit of weird.
-
If I didn't, then it's okay. But the waying scale
-
se I did, like, okay, the waying scales see I
-
did from ninety four to eighty six. Yeah, pick up
-
Aul doesn't do anything now, okay? Please? Is the it's
-
the work that happens before that you ten or so? Maybe,
-
But I didn't do full fast, so Canabutan. Did you
-
not know that your body is the temple of the
-
Holy Spirit, Daniel? Did you not know that you your
-
heart is where I reside And when you walk into
-
Wesley Metaday School, you are bringing me with you. Next light, Well,
-
I'm well closed. I'm all close. And I looked at
-
this picture again, and I saw the same letters I
-
saw before, But this time I did not see what
-
I saw, which is northway. But this time I saw
-
the next light. I saw a narrow way, because the
-
way the Lord, it's going to be narrow. The eighty
-
percent ninety percent believers, non believers, non English speaking may
-
look at you and laugh at you when you share
-
a story in English. We don't understand what you have
-
to say. But that is the wide way. But the
-
way that is taken a few, a few of us
-
have taken enter by the narrow gate for the white gate,
-
and for why is the gate? And broad is the
-
way that leads to destruction? Daniel, Do you want to
-
go to the broad gate because it's easy. It's easy
-
to go to the broad gate, and there's so much
-
noise there because there's so many people there. We get distracted,
-
we get we get so occupied with what the world
-
has to think. But when you enter the narrow gate,
-
which is difficult, Daniel. It's difficult. Ng is difficult to
-
enter the narrow gate. But yet it leads to life.
-
And there are few who find it. The few who
-
find it friends are pray that today every person in
-
this place will be one of the few. Please do
-
not miss out. It's the same prayer that I have
-
for myself every day. Nowadays, I tend to utter this word, God,
-
help me, help me into the narrow path, the narrow gate,
-
the narrow gate that leads to life, the narrow way
-
that leads to life. Next night, I'm going to close soon.
-
When I saw this, but the end I'm using every
-
God spoke to me in every single numberlla, basically in
-
the picture, and you will see why. Soon I saw
-
one dot one, and by this time I was crying
-
and in the car, and it says, one point one km,
-
keep my word. Keep my word, Daniel, no matter where
-
you are, no matter who you are, no matter what
-
you do. Why keep my word? Because one dot one.
-
And I was thinking of my father in law at
-
that time, which is John. Because I'm look into my
-
father in heaven right. The first name that came to
-
my mind was Stephen and John. Stephen in X chapter seven,
-
verse forty nine, and John in John chapter one, verse one.
-
The beginning was the Word, and the word was God,
-
and the word was with God. And I had to
-
say to God, all right, all right, you got my attention.
-
Now what's next? By this time I was excited, really,
-
I was excited. I was excited. Next light, and I
-
was excited. Then God reminded me your bush now is
-
not burning anymore. Someone was here in this place. Your
-
bush is no longer burning. Your five with the Lord
-
is no longer burning. And how are you going to
-
revive it? Then? How are you going to revive it?
-
Is temporary flame that has went off, because my flame
-
is eternal, but yours is not. But you rely on
-
my flame? And how do you can you keep burning?
-
Next light? Next light? I say thirty eight verse two. Wow,
-
I told you right. God used every single sent, every
-
single number there, thirty eight sook two. Then Hezekiah turned
-
his face. Isaiah thirty eight, verse two, verse five, turned
-
his face towards the wall, and pray to the Lord.
-
Go and tell Hezekiah does say, the Lord, the God
-
of David, your father, I've heard your prayer, I've seen
-
your tears, and surely i'll add your day's fifteen years.
-
Because Hezekiah was about to die. If you know this story,
-
Prophet Isaiah came to Hezekiah and said, you're going to die.
-
You've got to set your house in order. If you
-
don't set your house in order, you're going to die.
-
And Hezekia was young at the time. He was thirty nine.
-
I'm not going to explain why thirty nine, it's in scriptures,
-
but he was thirty nine. Young men, some of you
-
imagine when you're so young in your faith and you're
-
on fire but you lost it fire. And if someone
-
comes up to you and you feel like, if I
-
don't set my house in order, I'm gonna die. And
-
how did Hezekiah got live added to his life was
-
that by prayer? And another scripture says that miracles are
-
only possible through prayer and fasting. And as we are
-
in this season of U turn, I want to encourage you.
-
How is your fast going? Are you keeping strong or
-
is it just a diet? Are you keeping strong? Because
-
if you're not keeping strong again, I'll remind you it
-
is not how you start, it's how you Not too late, friends,
-
not too late for that breakthrough to happen. How is
-
your prayer? How is your fasting? Because by prayer God
-
was moved and God added fifteen years to the life
-
of Hezekaya. So I took this as a sign my
-
fire was about to be reignited again, and I pray
-
the same over each and every one of you. Next light,
-
next light. Oh, I just I was just hiding this
-
from you all this while, because that was the comforting
-
image that God was with me. Right in front of me,
-
a rainbow appeared. I can't make this up. I can't
-
make up the goodness of God. I can't. How can
-
you construct a message just by a picture and a rainbow?
-
I didn't, Okay, I didn't. God let me step by
-
step on a street beside Wesley Methodist. When I came
-
out defeated. Okay, I came out defeated. I came out
-
not knowing how well I did. I thought that it
-
was all over. I thought I would never get invited
-
back again. By the way, spoiler alert, they invited me
-
back again. But God showed me the rainbow next night.
-
Let's let's let's let's worry so close. Let's close, I said,
-
my rainbow. This is a story of Noah. I set
-
my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be a
-
sign of a covenant between me and the Earth Verse fifteen,
-
A covenant between me and you. Verse fifteen. You Daniel rainbow.
-
I am with you, Daniel, Moses, I am with you, Albert,
-
I'm with you, Gabriel, I'm with you. Shannon, I'm with you. Sometimes.
-
How to notice that it's just to look up. Don't
-
be too fixated on the ways that is beside you.
-
But look up, and when you look up, you see
-
the rainbow. God is there. He's right there the whole
-
way on the way to Colfuse. The rainbow did not disappear.
-
I came out from the school to out in the
-
rainbow is still there. Where have you seen this in
-
your life before? By the way, different rainbow that was overwhelmed.
-
I can't, I couldn't suppress it. I came back and
-
some of this came after I came back to the office.
-
But next light, and it's next hushash. This is Hebrew
-
for rainbow. And by the way, and Hebrew, there's no
-
suching as rainbow is a ball. It's almost as if
-
God is saying, I'm turning away my bowl from the earth.
-
I'm not going to shoot the earth no longer, punning
-
it away. That's why it says in Genesis, next light
-
and the same Jalan thirty eight stroke too. By the way,
-
it's three ber okay, thirty eight stroke too. Just be
-
honest if you're thirty eighth stroke two Psalms thirty eighth
-
strop two thirty, chapter verse two. For your arrows pierced
-
me deeply, and your hand presses me down the bowl
-
there was before me, in front of me, I felt,
-
after all that has happened, after all that God has
-
spoken to me, I felt an arrow coming out from
-
that boat, and it pierced my heart. And I said,
-
for the last time, I am sorry. I repent. I
-
will never oh by the power the Holy Spirit, will
-
never doubt you again. I will never doubt you again.
-
Wherever you bring me, God, wherever you lead me to,
-
And I pray the same motion every one of you.
-
Wherever God leads you to, I pray by the power
-
the Holy Spirit, not by might, not by power, by
-
but the Spirit, says the Lord. You will never doubt
-
God again, because God has been so good in your life,
-
and you are beginning to doubt him again and again
-
and again and again again. And I pray, and I
-
pray to the grace of the Lord. And it's more
-
and sufficient for all of us because of His mercy
-
and race. You will continue to use you, no matter
-
how disobedient you are, no matter how bad you are
-
in your life. But because God is good and he
-
is always good, come to the far And if you
-
have not yet come back to the Father, maybe to
-
day's to day. Today's the day that I pray that
-
the word will penetrate your heart like a double aged sword,
-
like an arrow that's being shot by a bow, a rainbow,
-
and your prayer will be for in you. Oh Lord,
-
I hope you will hear. Oh Lord, my God, do
-
not forsake me. Oh Lord, Oh my God, be not
-
far from me. Make haste to help me. Oh Lord,
-
my salvation. That was my prayer. And that's how I'm
-
going to close today. Next night, is there anything else, Amen,
-
That's how I'm going to close today. I want to
-
say it's again, friends, there's no way that could have
-
made this up. And I will pray the same over
-
each and every one of you that there will be
-
an experience in your life that there will be no
-
way that you can make it up. Because when there is,
-
when it's grill and when you have experienced it and
-
undergo it, When you experience that, it's not about God.
-
It's not about not about me, but it's about God.
-
Then you will realize. And my conclusion was this, Daniel,
-
you may be going to a place where ninety percent
-
does not believe in Wesley Methodist. But Daniel, you are
-
standing on a ground where ninety percent also does not believe.
-
And it is your responsibility to make disciples of all nations.
-
It is your responsibility to go in the power of
-
the Holy Spirit to all of Jerusalem, to all of Judea,
-
and all of Samaria. Ten percent Christians in Malaysia. It
-
is not where we would want to be. But Daniel,
-
ninety percent more are waiting for you to be obedient
-
and to go forth like how Moses went forth, and
-
when he went forth, God use team so greatly and
-
so mighty the same I declare over each and every
-
one of you. Friends, Go in the authority of the Lord.
-
And when you are weak, the strength of Christ is
-
made perfect in your weakness. When you are weak, God
-
is strong and he can make it work because you
-
realize and you surrender that you are weak.
