You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
Yeah, some of you even that word sustainability. Can this
-
be sustained?
-
How long more?
-
And yet the Lord says to you this morning, fear not,
-
I'm with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.
-
I am here, and where my presence is, there is freedom,
-
there is liberty. And I just believe there's going to
-
be such a liberation that will happen this morning in
-
the spirit, in your hearts. Even you will feel it
-
in your body. You will feel lighter by the time
-
we finish. And when you are driving your you won't
-
even know why you're smiling when actually think to yourself,
-
actually there's not much to smile about.
-
But yet you will be smiling.
-
It will be a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit,
-
if you believe it's Amen. Praise God, Praise God. Hallelijah, Father,
-
I want to pray first for this precious couple on
-
my left, Jason and Jessica. To you both first, I
-
want to say to you that the Lord said to
-
me he wants to encourage both of.
-
You greatly, greatly greatly.
-
There are many times you could have given up, but
-
both of you stood strong.
-
I pray for you now. I pray for you now.
-
You know the Bible says I believe in Romans eight
-
thirty seven thirty eight, it says He has made us
-
more than overcomers. We are more than overcomers. I sometimes think,
-
why should he say more than overcomers. It isn't just
-
overcomers enough. I mean, all of us want to be overcomers, right,
-
But why it is more? And I tell you why,
-
because sometimes when you think about overcoming and conquering, you
-
just think about the result done.
-
You think about the score.
-
You think about yay, oh no, all all my prayers answered,
-
and yet more than Congress. Therefore must mean that even
-
though your prayers is not answered, you are still going strong.
-
So we are not just conquerors. Very easy to be
-
a conqueror. But you are more then because there's something
-
in you of God. There's something in you of God.
-
There's a seed in you, Jason, Jessica that is.
-
Off the Lord.
-
And I'm not sure what else God has in store
-
for you in the future. I don't want to declare
-
what God has told me, but I just want to
-
say to you that God has said to me, refreshing
-
is coming upon you both. Yes, yes, you say, how long, Lord,
-
when Lord, how Lord. But there's a refreshing that's coming
-
upon you. There's a refreshing that some of us in
-
this room my thing, they understand when I'm saying this
-
to you now, But it's going to be beyond our understanding.
-
It's going to be in ways that all the Lord
-
can plan. And then I see the word of God
-
coming now from Joshua chapter one. Be strong and very courageous.
-
Be strong and very courageous. Hallelujah. The Lord is planning,
-
even though you don't see. He's orchestrating, even though you
-
don't know.
-
The Lord is with you. He is for you. And
-
if God be for us, who can be against us?
-
Lord, This will travel from their heads to their feet,
-
and through their hands even to their children. Yes, as
-
for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
-
Times of refreshing is coming upon your family.
-
Yeah.
-
Amen, I has not seen, hear, has not heard first
-
Corinthians chapter two, verse nine, nor has it entered the
-
heart of man the things that God has planned those
-
who love him.
-
The Lord bless you both.
-
The Lord bless your marriage, the Lord bless your ministry.
-
Thank you Jesus a Man and Julian Laura.
-
I just said so.
-
Also, there are different things that you guys have had
-
to go through and even wrestle with in the past year.
-
But I just want to say to both of you,
-
and you know this already, that the Lord loves you.
-
You already know this.
-
He loves you, he loves your whole family, and his
-
love sustains you both. And there are some questions that
-
it's not yet answered, some things that you're asking God for.
-
That may not have come so clearly yet.
-
But I see the Lord's favor upon you both in
-
many ways, more ways than one, and you know it.
-
You know He's been faithful.
-
And I want to believe that the days a hit
-
are going to truly be more glorious than the days before,
-
and you're going to be able to find you know,
-
there's something I sense that it needs to be found,
-
and you both are gotta find it. You've got to
-
find it in him and also with each other. And
-
I just believe that twenty twenty five is going to
-
be extra special for both of you.
-
I thank God for you.
-
I really do. You've been faithful. And yes, maybe they
-
are ups and downs, but who doesn't have it. The
-
one that's laying his hand on you also has a
-
lot of it. But God has seen me through it all,
-
and He will see you through it all. This year
-
will be a year of clarity, greater clarity for both
-
of you. Yes, And with clarity will come confidence, and
-
with confidence will come courage to do greater things for God.
-
Thank you, Lord, hallelujah, hallelujah, Lord, continue to do this
-
beautiful work that you have started this morning in Jesus say,
-
I want to speak about faith, creed creates and yes,
-
encourage you as much as I can.
-
Faith.
-
Let me move this pulpit a little bit back so
-
you all of you can see faith creates. So the
-
last year I've been sitting with leaders just to explain
-
to you how.
-
This message came.
-
I mean sitting down with leaders from different places, not
-
just ex church, but around the country, maybe even one
-
or two from.
-
Around the world.
-
And we always talk about different challenges that we have
-
in ministry, in church, in life, and the next light
-
just says this. The next slight says, what do I
-
still lack? And if you remember, this was actually a
-
phrase that the rich young ruler asks, uh. He asked Jesus,
-
what is the way to eternal life? And remember, Jesus says,
-
what do you call me good? Only God is good?
-
But if you want to have life, you know, do this.
-
And then he gave a few commandments. And then the
-
rich young ruler said, all this I've done since I
-
was a youth. That he says, what do I still lack?
-
And actually, in our lives there are many lacks, and
-
we wish that they were filled and met and no
-
longer a lack.
-
But the truth is all of us have lacked.
-
So when I'm speaking to a pastor, he says, passa Kenneth,
-
I lack a successor. When I spoke to Pastor quillen
-
Up in Alostar, a good friend Trinity Baptist Church, he said,
-
Pastor Kenneth, what young people are you talking about? My
-
young people leave Alostar at form five or after form five,
-
and they don't come back. Most of them don't come back.
-
So they are pastors like that around the country who
-
are looking at a very real possibility of the church's closing.
-
We had a lady come to ax Umpunk. She really
-
enjoyed the service. And then when I spoke with her
-
after the service, she said, passa kedeth.
-
Can you start x in Quantan?
-
I said, I was not let to start anywhere else
-
in Malaysia except in Slago. Uh And when the Lord
-
does lead me, I might, but it's going to be
-
very hard because I have very good friends all around
-
the country and I don't want to compete with them.
-
I want to be able to compliment them. Uh.
-
So the Lord has said.
-
No plan everywhere else in the world and in Kre,
-
but no, not in the rest of kl So I
-
not in the rest of Malaysia.
-
So I've been obedient to that.
-
And if the Lord does say otherwise, I will also
-
be obedient to that. And so I said, you know,
-
she said, churches are dying in content that she named
-
me a fewtureches, she said, reading a pandemic even more
-
closed down. So and and and the reason usually is
-
lack of money, lack of manpower, et cetera. So there's
-
a like there's a real and a real challenge. A
-
real problem is a real problem. I don't I don't
-
even think that any one of us have the answer.
-
I am asking God to give me the answer, So
-
I asked, I'm asking God to download and so the
-
answer is in the form of dream Malaysia. And that's
-
a dream for Malaysia. And that's why I retired from
-
being a senior pastol of care so that I can
-
focus more on the nation. Uh, please pray for me,
-
and some of you might even come with me, okay,
-
I have My first invitation is to uh bin Tulu. Uh.
-
They're gonna ask me to speak to two thousand young
-
people uh in Bintulu because they're going to have a
-
combined Easter service. It's a big thing for sib sib
-
or no the church sib Uh. And to invite someone
-
who doesn't speak Bahasa or then't preaching Bahasa as.
-
His normal preaching was truly an honor.
-
But they had to check with the headquarters to see
-
whether they allow a non sib, non Malay speaking to come.
-
But they're seeing that God has a word in my
-
mouth to be able to encourage the church there, and
-
so come with me. If you can't come with me,
-
there's another invitation, Sanakhan, there's another invitation to the north.
-
God is going to give an answer. He has to.
-
If God doesn't answer the lack then we all doing
-
you with me. We have no no way out if
-
God doesn't come through for us. And so I said
-
to this lady, you want me to start acts in
-
Quantin and then you tell me that a lot of
-
churches are closing. I say, if I start acts in Quantin,
-
more churches will close.
-
Because they will come.
-
And while I get two hundreds of young people from
-
Quantan or three hundred young people from Pahang, that's not
-
the it's not about me, it's not about as. It's
-
about how can we strengthen other churches. See, we need
-
to understand how it works. If really to bless the
-
churches in Malaysia is not just to start another church
-
where they, you know, because you don't want to already
-
there you're losing your people. Then you want to think
-
that young people's water and you know they will come.
-
You know they'll come because the fact that we have
-
an annointing for young people.
-
So that's not the way. The way to.
-
Strengthen other churches is not to start another one next
-
to them. So okay, understand, we just start wherever the
-
lot tells us to start, but wherever he doesn't, we.
-
Just know obey, okay, So what do you still like?
-
And maybe in this room, I don't know, maybe there
-
is something that you've been praying about that you don't
-
even know how God is going to answer it, when
-
he's going to answer it, So there is a lack.
-
And a rich young ruler asked the question because he
-
really wanted to know, because he definitely felt there was
-
a light, you see, because he was really rich, and
-
he already was fulfilling the commandments. And yet the after
-
fulfilling the commandments, after coming to church every Sunday, after
-
doing all the homes and the huddles and all that
-
kind of stuff, do you know that sometimes you can
-
still feel an emptiness.
-
Yeah, it's very real. It's very real.
-
And that emptiness or lack only God can feel. And
-
in fact, most times God even allows the lack in
-
the first place because he wants us to need him,
-
because if it's a lack that we ourselves can always answer,
-
you don't need God. So sometimes, in fact, most times
-
I find in my own life, God allows that that
-
cannot cannot do no, no, his leaders can do nothing.
-
No one else, no rich man, no famous man, no
-
government officer can help. Is only God is called God's
-
size shape. It's only God can feel that shape, okay.
-
Not a teddy bear shape, not a you know whatever,
-
blue man smurf shape, not a strawberry ship is a
-
God size shape.
-
Maybe it's maybe the shape of a cross. Okay. So uh.
-
In most of my answers to people who have a
-
lack increase my own life, faith is often the answer.
-
Faith means focusing on God. Faith means trusting in Him
-
and his word. Faith means holding on to His promises
-
even though nothing else it seems to be happening. Faith
-
is patience, Yeah, because sometimes you know, there's a scripture
-
that says that why are you cast down all my soul?
-
Remember this one some forty tree verse five? Why are
-
you cast down all my soul? And why are you
-
disquieted within me? Do you know when we are in trouble,
-
when we have laguer usually we just turn quiet now,
-
and that's why we very easily go into depression. Depressed
-
people are not noisy, nough, They're very quiet and looking
-
down to the floor. So the enemy wants to rob
-
you of your prayer, wants to rob you of your praise,
-
get you depressed. Because most of the time. Why are
-
you cast down all my soul? Some forty tree vers,
-
why why you cast out?
-
To you? Cast down?
-
Because of disappointment, discouragement? Your prayer is not answered yet.
-
Then he continues to say, and why are you disquie
-
it because you suddenly become quiet. You even forgot how
-
to pray for God, how to praise Okay, and then
-
and then it doesn't end upway praise God. It doesn't
-
end away. Some forty tree us says, why hope in God?
-
For I shall yet praise him the help of my
-
countenance and my God. I love the scripture, you know why.
-
He's actually telling you that God sometimes doesn't answer you immediately.
-
This scripture tells you, hoping God, just wait because I
-
shall yet miss not yet, but coming soon. I will
-
eventually at the end of this challenge praise him.
-
Not yet, not yet. I know I don't see yet,
-
but I will. That's the confession that has come out
-
of your mouth.
-
And you declare that your God is the help of
-
your countenance. You know, so countenance down, man, when things
-
won't happen right, we're down, and then this God comes
-
and he helps our countenance go up. It's not a pretense.
-
Up is God helping you because that means you can
-
smile in the midst of the storm, because he changes
-
your countenance. Anybody, okay, he changes your countenance. Yeah, when
-
we're down, we're sad, our face becomes like papayah. Right.
-
But then the Lord comes and he says, look up.
-
I want to say to all of you this year,
-
look up this year. Put your hands up. You know,
-
when you put your hands up and you praise, you know,
-
there's another scripture in Hebrews that says, lift up the
-
hands that hang down.
-
You know why because when you're said, when.
-
You're depressed, when you're discouraged, when you disappointed, your hands
-
all down. But God is saying that, even in the
-
midst of your pain, praise. Didn't you just sing that sound,
-
even in the midst of your doubt, praise? Come on,
-
look up, hands up, feel up, live up, because God
-
is up. He's all down. Who's down?
-
Well, you can interpret it yourself, but God is not down.
-
God is up.
-
And finally, when you are dead and God, where are
-
you going?
-
Ah? So you better encourage yourself every day.
-
Say hey, we're not going down there down, it's not
-
our destination up is and God wants us to continue
-
to pray up, praise up, Amen, and speak up, and
-
show up to work the next day and dress up, amen,
-
live up, and one day be.
-
Up with your Father in heaven forever? Can I hear good? Amen?
-
Praise the Lord? So what do I still like? Let's
-
move on to the next slide?
-
What is Yeah?
-
You know I want to I want to give you
-
a scripture first before I move on. The scripture is
-
found in Hebrews. And I won't do all the slights extiv.
-
I won't do all the slides because the Lord just
-
told me to cut these message behalf and just begin
-
to just pray for people, and we will close.
-
We're done.
-
The scripture that you can find also in the series
-
of these slights is found in Hebrews Chapter one, Chapter eleven,
-
Verse one. Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
-
the evidence of things not seen.
-
Faith is very very important.
-
In fact that there's another scripture in John First John
-
that says, it is our faith that has overcome the world.
-
You want to be an overcomer today as a Christian.
-
Your privilege because you have faith. It is not something
-
that is being preached or taught in many religions even
-
though they think they know. Oh, having faith in God
-
and his word and in Christ alone is very very
-
different faith faith without seeing. Blessed are you if you
-
believe and yet not see everybody?
-
Okay with this is.
-
A very very powerful formula, if I can just call
-
it that for now, a powerful answer that God has
-
given us all. Sometimes we forget to use it and
-
we move by facts. Oh look at my son, Oh
-
look at my child, Oh look at my wife, Oh
-
look at my mother who's in the hospital.
-
We let our sight take over.
-
And yet the Bible says in Second Corinthians five seven,
-
we walk by faith, not by side. So I encourage
-
you on the very first Sunday of twenty twenty five
-
remember that, because maybe towards the end of twenty four,
-
our eyes, like Peter, got off the Lord for a moment,
-
got onto the waves, got onto the storm, and then
-
by the time you come to the end of twenty four,
-
you are starting to want to decide on things you.
-
Don't need to decide on. It's very true, and it's
-
very true.
-
I've come to a place whereby so many times, in
-
a place where by yo Should I do this? Should
-
I do that? Should I stop? Should I continue? Should
-
I my grade? Should Actually, if you didn't go through
-
that journey, you don't even have those thoughts, wouldn't have
-
even crossed your mind. But because your eyes have, you know,
-
been on the waves and storm, you suddenly have to
-
consider things and think about things that you normally in
-
good times would not have thought about. And the Lord
-
wants to refocus, reprioritize, and say, get your eyes back
-
on me. Thanks be to God, Jesus picked Peter out
-
from the water. That means even if you were drowning
-
at the end of twenty three four, don't worry. You
-
will not die because as long as the Lord is
-
there with you, he will pick you up.
-
How many you can say amen to that?
-
And I believe that in this room a lot of
-
you have been picked up by the Lord out of
-
the merry clay, out of your waters of doom and disaster.
-
But we got to on the first Sunday of twenty
-
twenty five get our eyes back under Lord, faith, faith,
-
And then I tell you what you can walk on water.
-
So I want to declare to many of you in
-
this room, if not all of you are gonna be
-
some water walking that you're gonna make this year. If
-
you believe, you say, amen, some water walking in your marriage.
-
You thought, oh my marriage. I don't know how to
-
save my marriage. You're gonna walk on water? Oh you know,
-
maybe it is a bad report from the hospital. Oh Lord, God,
-
help me walk on water. Amen, and hold me up
-
when nobody else can. Amen, Praise God. So this is
-
how faith works. It works from Hebrews again, thank you Extuv,
-
Hebrews eleven, verse one. This is how it works, Hebrews eleven,
-
verse one. Please let's change it to that. And I
-
just want to focus on this and then I want
-
to tell you a few stories, and then I want
-
to pray. So faith, how does it work? Is a
-
substance of things hopeful. So hope is very important in faith.
-
You must have hope. You must have hope. And a
-
lot of times the devil likes to rob us.
-
Of our hope.
-
So if you came to the enertration four, no hopeler
-
because you couldn't see hope. It was just too hot.
-
Cannot One night, you know, I'm trying to sell my house.
-
You know nobody wants to buy, right, I put put
-
on sale for two three years a day nobody was
-
by it towards en traity. For twenty four you said, no, Hope,
-
I look at my house or eyes don't want.
-
To buy it.
-
You know, because you're so discouraged that when you're discouraging, disappointed,
-
you see things differently. You see things through the eyes
-
of doubt. And yet you know with doubt you won't
-
ever receive anything from the Lord. So you've got to
-
be faith again, right, faith, praise God. So you gotta hope.
-
I want to encourage all of you in this room,
-
come on, hope again. Why are you cast down all
-
my soul? And why are you disquiet it within me?
-
Don't be quiet? Don't be quiet you I think the
-
devil has got some of us to be quiet. What
-
for pray? I pray it is so long? What for
-
pray anymore? But for pray again? But for pray about this?
-
You know you feel like so condemned. No, no, no,
-
don't be quiet if you don't know how to pray.
-
At least praise. I know ex Guy is very good
-
for prayer. Praise, Oh Lord, even though I haven't seen
-
it yet, I'll praise you. I was saying the Bible says,
-
sing old baron. How does the baron sing single baron?
-
I think it's Isaiah fifty four.
-
Sing oh baron?
-
For greater are the children of the one you know
-
that that has no husband?
-
You know?
-
Yeah, then the married woman say this lady is a
-
walking Bible lah Anti Praise Lord, thank you, thank you.
-
Of course you know why you encourage me that, miss.
-
I'm not wrong when I scote the scripture. Hallelujah, praise God. Yeah,
-
only your eldness, Amen, praise God.
-
And to keep going. Anytime I brother, just say ah bassa.
-
Ah rovers wrongly quote wrongly quote that, or you say
-
help him Lord, help him Lord. All right, Yeah, so
-
you must hope. Okay, Amen, we got that, We got
-
that hope again. Hope again. Don't let the devil rob
-
you of your hope. Hold on to the very end.
-
But there must be substance to that, you know. I
-
remember many years ago someone took out his wallet and say,
-
I want to show you something. Actually, whaar, my wallet
-
is here, yeah yeah somewhere, yeah, yeah, okay, oh yeah, hey,
-
my pocket is so deep blah praise go for deep.
-
Okays.
-
And he says, you know when you're hoping for financial
-
blessing and breakthrough. Uh, you got to have substance of
-
what you hope for, you know. And then they lifted
-
up this picture many years ago, twenty five years ago.
-
What do you call this? A sad money?
-
This is also called substance, meaning there is no such
-
thing as nothing.
-
You understand, this is substance. What you hope for must
-
be backed up by substance. This substance, My.
-
Wife usually says that this is your toil and sweat,
-
because you had to work for your money.
-
There is more than money.
-
This is your time, your sweat, your talent, your work,
-
you with me, And so when you put it there,
-
you know, and he's putting a piece of paper, you're
-
putting your heart and hard work.
-
Not hard.
-
We need hard work. So the Lord receives that. But
-
there must be always substance backing what you hope. Don't
-
just stand there and hope you'll get ten a's for
-
I'm speaking to those maybe who are formed five. Here
-
I hope for ten a's and do nothing about it.
-
Where's your substance? Show me some substance, and God will
-
take that substance and multiply it.
-
That's the thing. Now, I like this other part. It's
-
actually the.
-
Same, the same meaning to two different sentences.
-
But to make it stronger.
-
The rights of Hebrews, make sure that he also write
-
the evidence of things not seen?
-
And I love this so much.
-
The boy I read into it, the more I understood it,
-
the more the Holy Spirit revealed the I said, Lord, Yeah,
-
that's right. This is how faith works. So this is
-
how it works. Number One, you have to have hope,
-
and you have to have substance backing up that hope.
-
Cannot be nothing cannot be. Wishing only cannot be. I
-
won't take that step of faith. I won't step into
-
the water, but I hope to walk. No, if you've
-
gotta walk on water, step off the boat, substance, where
-
are you? Where's your feet? Put your feet to your walk.
-
Either way, somebody else has to work for you. The
-
evidence of things not seen is this? I want to
-
see it. I want to see the healing of my dad.
-
I want to see the healing of my spouse. I
-
want to see the healing of my finances. I want
-
to see the approval of my visa. I want to
-
see this new ches building a bill. I want to
-
see the next church. We've got a plan, by the
-
grace of God, I think could be exs Mandu. Pray
-
for us, Pray for us, because I just met with
-
Pasta Palin Passa Palin Uh says there is a church
-
there with two hundred young people and they all want
-
service in English. And the pastor there might let go
-
of that church to go and study his masters and
-
PhD in And he's weighing it out because the church
-
is really thriving. And Uh, they said they need pastors,
-
they need leaders. So would you would you consider Pasta
-
Palin saying, would you consider ex Mandu Nepal.
-
You know, with me, I don't have great light, one
-
green light because the day Jesus said go.
-
Into all the world and make disciples, the green light
-
is all ready. The only time I see a red
-
light is when God says, don't do this, do something else.
-
Remember Paul walking going. I don't see Paul asking the
-
Lord about should.
-
I start here? Should I start there? He just goes.
-
You know, of course the Lord just says go, So
-
he just goes plan blah blah blah blah blaah and
-
then stop. You don't need to hear God say go.
-
You need to hear God say stop. So he says
-
stop why because there was a Macedonian call. So though
-
he closed his door, he was still open that window.
-
God has not stopped since the day Jesus went back
-
to be with the Father. He has not stopped trying
-
to tell the whole world who he is. Are you
-
all stay with me? And he tells the world who
-
he is through the Church X command. Will it happen?
-
By faith? It will? By faith it will.
-
God has also put on my heart that now is
-
the time for India. And oh, I tell you I
-
had ex India in my heart maybe about fifteen years ago,
-
and it didn't work out. And I'm not gonna cry
-
over things that don't work out because He's just got's planning.
-
He will He's time mean, so don't cry over. If
-
you really believe that God is good and God is
-
great and God's timing is perfect, then don't need to
-
cry over anything. You with me, Just say, God didn't
-
work I tried out. Wait for your perfect timing, amen,
-
But the important thing is to try. You'll just continue
-
to live by faith, and don't don't please this year.
-
Don't get used to saying no. Please continue to get
-
used to saying yes, Lord, here I am send me
-
because with yes, they are miracles. With no, you don't
-
even have to think about anything because there's you know
-
you will never know. So let's close with with uh,
-
with with with this verse because I want to show
-
you something.
-
Though you have not seen God move.
-
Listen now, listen now, though you have not seen God move,
-
God wants to see you move.
-
That's how it works.
-
God wants something in his hands. He want Okay, so
-
both are evidence. Actually both are evidence, but this one
-
is the evidence that is in God's hands. Only God
-
can do it for you. That's why you haven't seen
-
it yet. But before you see God move, God wants
-
to see you move.
-
I hope you catch that. And now we go into stories.
-
Now maybe x TV you go back to that third
-
slide and let's let's let's talk about water turned into wine.
-
You all know that story.
-
But Jesus said, what fill up the six water pots?
-
Show me evidence before I show you evidence. Five loaves,
-
two fish. The young boy doesn't even have a name,
-
or at least he was not named in the Bible.
-
The lad gave up not only his lunch, I don't
-
think he's Do you think he was just his lunch?
-
Five lows, two fisher, and a young lad. You think
-
in all five lows and two fish in just one meal.
-
Maybe maybe not, Maybe he's a green boy, or maybe
-
it was two meals in one.
-
He gave it up. He gave the meal of the
-
day up.
-
And I'm telling you right now the Bible is filled
-
with examples for us. God saw the evidence, and then
-
he moved. Not only was the boy fed, five thousand
-
more were fed, and that only counted men, having counted
-
women and children. Yet so he could have been ten thousand.
-
Out of a boy's evidence came God's evidence. And I
-
can go on and on we do. In Elijah, Jah
-
of oil been a flower never will run dry. But
-
what did Elijah asked, if the widow first go and
-
bake me a cake first, what kind of a prophet disease?
-
And what kind of the lady just told him? I
-
just told him a prophet, This is the last bit
-
of flower, last bit of oil.
-
And day am I am? I still right on the scripture.
-
And then I said, I'm going to beg something, and
-
d I'm gonna beg something. And then she said, no,
-
me and my sons are gonna eat this and die. No,
-
and die. She just told the prophet, and we're gonna
-
eat and die. And you know what he said, beke
-
me something first?
-
What kind of profit? Maybe you know why? Because God
-
is always first?
-
He represented God and she was to give God first out.
-
Yeah, that's why this was something I don't say.
-
So cruel and so cruel, and don't understand how faith works.
-
But if you understand how faith works, are miracles happen.
-
I can go on and on right.
-
Borrow vessels, go borrow vessels, and then fill those vessels
-
with oil.
-
Hey, did the oil come first or the vessels had
-
to come first? Yes? Yes, she had to go not
-
on doorslow together with her sons. I don't know, neighbor,
-
Can I borrow any of your empty vessels?
-
Evidence? The evidence came first? Can I borrow a few more?
-
Maybe along the way. She's probably doubting now why I
-
got so many?
-
Because back home the oil is still so much on Nino.
-
And then you know the sorry, as she put into
-
the first bottle, it never ended.
-
Bring the second bottle, third bottle? What did?
-
She probably had to look inside the where the worst
-
coming from evidence of God, followed the evidence of men,
-
seventh bottle, seventeenth bottle, twin table. You know when the
-
oil stopped. The oil only stopped when the vessel stopped.
-
You know when the oil will stop in the church,
-
When the oil was stopped in the church, when the
-
vessels stopped.
-
Because all of us who serve the lot are vessels.
-
But if we stop being a vessel in God's hands,
-
watch the oil stop.
-
You don't want it to happen in X.
-
So vessels are continuously available to the Lord, even though
-
we might be broken vessels, broken, not so perfect. God
-
didn't asked for perfect vessels, and he just go and
-
get any vessel, okay, younger vessel, older vessel, women, vessel
-
men that matter to God. He just wants to pour
-
out his oil. He's anointing. The anointing will break the yoke. Amen,
-
I can go on, Abraham, Isaac Isaac first, Yeah, Isaac first.
-
And then after he offered Isaac, come on, after he
-
offered Isaac. Then the Lord said to him, I promise you,
-
I'll give you more than one son. Everybody, Okay, is
-
there anything else after this? Because I don't want to
-
do more than what the Holy spirits for me to
-
do today?
-
This the next light. Without faith, it is impossible to
-
please God. Let me.
-
Let me yeah, draw towards the last lap, telling you
-
a few more things. All I want to do is
-
encourage you. Jesus asked for the man with the withered
-
hand to stretch out his hand, man's hand with it. No,
-
come on, guys, somebody you when you read the Bible
-
and you gotta start imagining, okay, the church with it.
-
I don't know.
-
Some of you may not be so obvious in your
-
withed hand, or some of you may not be so
-
obvious in your problems. Maybe the problem is outside is inside.
-
But listen, do what Jesus? Stretch out your hand?
-
Are you do?
-
You know what the other other people in the church, Jesus,
-
don't embarrass the man. Ready, his hand is with it.
-
You are seeing a stretch out. No, until I see evidence,
-
he won't see evidence. Stretch it out.
-
He asked for a blind man to go and wash
-
in the pool of sea. Loon. Hi, please imagine this
-
with me, blind Lord, hear me. I heard that. You
-
can just say the word and my eyes will open.
-
You know what Jesus did spit on the ground, make
-
clay put on his eyes. Yeah, this sliver makes week
-
dirt on the ground. Don't know how many people start already?
-
Huh and hee, huh. Okay, if I do this, I'm
-
not sure.
-
Okay to.
-
Actually I sometimes her pictures her when the speak on
-
your and intentionally is you start?
-
Why paying and forgiving the picture annointing spit that came
-
out from the mouth of God.
-
Anything that comes up from the mouth of God will
-
bring life. He said, let there be light, and there
-
was light. So the spit came out from his mouth.
-
Anything comes up with God's mouth is going to bring life.
-
He hits the ground. Why, because we were men and
-
a man. Man was made out of the ground clay.
-
So the mouth of God touches clay and puts it
-
on the ice, because man was made out of clay.
-
He puts clay together with the anointing of God's whatever
-
it came up from his mouth with his spit, and
-
he puts it. And then finally he says, does the
-
guy get here immediately? No, he says, go and wash
-
in the pool of siloa. Where is the pool of siloa?
-
Market?
-
Someone take me there, please, because I'm blind. Why am
-
I Jesus asked me to go when I'm blind? Maybe
-
some of you in this room the last year, maybe
-
coming to church. You just don't understand the Lord's ways.
-
Why God are you asking me to do something? Can
-
you see I'm in a wheelchair. Can you see I
-
can't see? Can you see I'm poor? Can you see
-
I'm left back only with five ring.
-
Kits in my pocket? Can you see? God?
-
And God is saying, it's because I can't see?
-
What do you mean? Is because I need to see
-
evidence to move on? Your behalf?
-
It's called faith. He asked Peter to launch out into
-
the deep and let down his nets for a catch.
-
So he was standing in Peter's boat preaching, and after
-
he was done, he said, Peter, launch out into the deep.
-
Peter said, your preaching is quite good. Laugh lord paraphraser,
-
the preaching is quite good. Actually you want you want
-
the best preachers today. But you're not a fisher. Malla
-
I am, and I fish all night.
-
Adi.
-
I fished all night and caught nothing. So thank you
-
for your suggestion. How many are you come to after
-
the preacher?
-
Bastard?
-
You are a pastor that that knows the Bible, but
-
I know business, and you can't speak to business because
-
you have no experience in business. Our pastor you were
-
married with your wife, although you're married twenty nine years,
-
but you have no kids, so you can't speak into
-
us because we have three kids. Sometimes you think like that.
-
I think if Jesus was here, also you because.
-
Jesus wasn't married.
-
So you say, Jesus, what you understand about marriage? Jesus said,
-
launch out into the deep. All he wants is evidence.
-
So thanks being to God, Peter was smart enough to say,
-
I tell you why it won't work because.
-
I tried it. It didn't work, But I'll tell you now.
-
Nevertheless, at your word again, out of God's mouth, what
-
is he saying.
-
To you today.
-
He's very important because he's really spoken, so his word
-
has gone forth. It will not return to him void.
-
It will touch the clay. All of you are made
-
of clay. They will touch the clay and will bring
-
about breakthrough. But will his spit touch the clay today?
-
I don't know, because it's also your choice, because you
-
are that clay, and you've got to mix with faith.
-
You're got to mix with whatever comes out of God's mouth.
-
You're gonna mix it. And then comes not just healing
-
for yourself, but you become a healing bomb to others.
-
Ah he Loujah, Praise God. Amen, this is important. Silver
-
and gold have I none, But what I have I
-
give to you. Remember this, So he had no silver,
-
no gold. He says, why I have I give to
-
you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
-
Rise up and walk, puts his hand up.
-
Or down whichever way, and reaches out to the man
-
and pulls him up. Evidence before evidence. You can read
-
on and on. The Lord one day challenged me when
-
the church Exchich was only three hundred people and it
-
was not growing. I said, Lord, how to make this grow?
-
We all have lack in our lives. I'm just showing
-
you different legs. And the Lord said to me, give
-
up the twelve thousand ring it that you get from
-
the Dato the Christian that tho every man, you heard
-
this story before.
-
I'll just remind you.
-
I said, Lord, I've got bills to pay. I need
-
the twelve thousand. The Lord says, well, I want something
-
to work with. Give me something to work with. What
-
do you want God? I just told you give up
-
the twelve thousand ring it.
-
I struggled.
-
Finally I gave it up, and in six months the
-
church grew from three hundred people ex church, the church
-
that you belong to.
-
So I give you the history of your church.
-
From three hundred we went to six hundred double in
-
six months. I say, what has the money to do
-
with soulsa? It has nothing to do with so is faith?
-
Sometimes you can't connect. No, why did you God ask
-
me to give up that one? But I want this one.
-
It's not about that. It's about you please God by faith.
-
And now that your father is pleased in heaven, there's
-
nothing he won't give you.
-
You're with me, you and your children. Please you warms
-
your heart.
-
You're probably gonna say, son, what do you want to
-
up to half my kingdom?
-
I'll give you.
-
Remember that scripture esther what be goes esther? Please the
-
king up to half my kingdom? Is that the starting
-
point of any prayer answer is pleasure to God? It's
-
not prayer answer first? Is I want to please God first?
-
And without faith it's impossible, not maybe not difficult, impossible?
-
Are you asser me all right? Drawing to a close, Yeah,
-
maybe I go about five more stories while I just
-
share one more with you. So in ex got takeer
-
moaning your sister church exclaim escort moaning we are we're close. Yeah,
-
we're close. We do things together, you know.
-
Yeah, yeah, I love I love that. I love that.
-
I love that so much. And so he's doing well now.
-
So he's doing well, my wife, and thank you for
-
releasing him. You have training well, please.
-
God, please go he now I think he wears about
-
five hats.
-
Yeah yeah, and and yeah because some people left, and
-
then okay, I will also do x TV. I also
-
do exceun. I said you please don't burn out. No no, no,
-
I'm gonna keep us saying.
-
Okaye please good. So I said, thank you, exclaim made
-
a lot, restore to you.
-
And give you five moreniece hell yeah, amen, and five
-
more michelles.
-
Okay, praise a lot. I'm I'm sure you know. Just
-
good Lord add to.
-
X claient come on, I say, amen if you believe it,
-
and praise God him man, thank you Jesus. Yeah, we
-
love exclaiming as well. But anyway, go to So it
-
was growing. We started with fourteen people, ten adults, four
-
children and today's on hundred eighty on our list, and
-
regularly about one hundred and fifty one hundred and sixty come.
-
But before we even got there, we were about maybe
-
how many, maybe about.
-
Seventy eighty people. And every week we saw new people.
-
Until at certain time there was a certain time where
-
it got allowed it to be dry, all right, so
-
that we can seek him, a call upon him, learn
-
a lesson from him.
-
That's what God wants.
-
He doesn't want he does. He doesn't want to cause
-
you trouble. He doesn't make life difficult for you. He
-
just wants to help you learn another lesson. They will
-
take you high here, that's all really. You think your
-
father is so bad that he just wants to not
-
pay you, you know, cause your children to be rebellious
-
and no, no, no, no no, So that you will seek
-
him so that U say God right, and he would
-
give you the answer for sure.
-
One is a good God. We right.
-
So I I heard from my leaders at what Pu
-
at what Pun is my hosts leader. He's a passa
-
call you Lisa uh set news. We've been growing every week,
-
got new people, then Salia for the last four weeks
-
are not one.
-
So I said, prayer.
-
Pray right, so prayer, pray, Oh God, please bring people,
-
and we pray this every week. We pray God, new people,
-
you know enlarge this church, bring souls, save souls, good prayer.
-
Then we should pray. But sometimes it's not just prayer,
-
it's actually so so by the six or seven weeks,
-
there's no people. Are I walked in one day to
-
ax the community. I just walked in and then.
-
I walked in with a little bit of a burden
-
in my heart because there is a lack. What do
-
I still like? There's a black seven weeks without a newcomer?
-
How can okay?
-
So I'm walking and I walked past while being slow
-
motion John Woolstar, I'm walking past the welcome table.
-
Welcome table, welcome table, not raise me, welcome table. And
-
then I stopped, and the lot says, look at the
-
welcome table. So I look.
-
So we may have heard the story before, but buried me.
-
I look at the welcome table and said, whatnot.
-
Look carefully? So I look. So I saw.
-
Things very well put very well laid out. We had
-
about one or two welcome backs.
-
We had one.
-
Newcomer's card, we had one Salvation card. We had one
-
of everything, and the lot says, do you see a problem?
-
I said, it's laid out so beautifully. You know, the
-
people have done their job. No, no, no, it's what's
-
behind the spirit, behind the layout of his God doesn't
-
just see the stuffer. He sees the spirit behind the stuff.
-
So I said one, and the Lord revealed it to
-
me because I was still asking. I can't understand it,
-
He says, Your people, after seven weeks of dryness and barenness,
-
has come to a place whereby they think maybe this
-
week or so we won't have anybody like. In fact,
-
when they put the one card and one bag, they
-
put it because they have to put it there because
-
as their drama, so put one just to show. But
-
maybe in their hearts that they are discouraged, disappointed you
-
with me, and thinking in their minds maybe this week
-
also will be the same. John, God very seldom just
-
answers the physical prayer. He answers hard because God looks
-
at the hard, so he's listening to the hard. Where
-
is your heart this morning, because you can show outside
-
everything all right now, our heart is very important.
-
That's where the breakthrough happens. And so you know what happened.
-
I said, I got it. I got it. I got it.
-
So I said, I came to the front, like, how
-
we have pre service prayer, we now call it pre
-
worship prayer, I said, I taking the microphone at the time,
-
I was still the CPC. I passed it on to
-
passa Daniel Cheng. Now I said, uh, brothers, we're gonna pray.
-
But before we pray, can I have two ushers carry
-
the welcome table.
-
Into the to the to the church, into the church.
-
So they're like, oh, surprise her, because I already heard
-
from the Lord.
-
Whatever must do.
-
So I said, bring bring kerry. So then two ushes
-
brought in and then I looked at the table. I said, hey, guys,
-
I thank you so much for laying out the table. Really,
-
your faithfulness every week it's amazing. But I want to
-
ask you something. Do you really believe that people are coming.
-
With this today?
-
And then I went on. I went on for another
-
five minutes. I was like preaching, discipling, helping them understand.
-
And I could see his slowly from looking at me,
-
going down and down and down because they know they
-
know that actually nobody's going to come anyway, so why pack?
-
So much right into the bag, because it's hard to
-
pack it out, pack it back. So easy to pack
-
one harder to pack five bags. I said, this will
-
stop today because the Lord is looking at our hearts.
-
I'm not blaming any of you, I said, I love
-
you so much, you know my heart. But God wants
-
to teach us something, to take us another level. Let's
-
all pray over this table. And as I pray with
-
a table, one lady evering in her name. She's very,
-
very on fire host that we have. She went to
-
the cupboards drew out another four more backs to make
-
it five backs. Now everything's multipla five bags, five welcome cards,
-
five newcomer cards, you know, five Salvation cards and all
-
that right, And this is what happened after we prayed
-
over the table, and we went on to pray over
-
empty seats. What people was led to. So I totally
-
changed the prayer for that morning. We didn't pray through
-
the list. We prayed whatever the Holy Spirit one. So
-
we pray over empetres all that so finisher, we had
-
two services eight fifteen.
-
Eight fifteen we had three.
-
Newcomers walking, and ten forty five we had two newcomers
-
walking that day silver. When our hearts changed and when
-
we started to go by faith again, I said to
-
you this is the title of this message. Faith creates
-
out of nothing, out of nowhere. It creates no water, wine,
-
five lows, two fish, five thousand, It creates one faith
-
as a way to multiplier stuff that you never knew
-
could be possible.
-
So God had to see evidence first.
-
So the evidence was the lady erin and the other
-
ushes put are five bags. He wants to see some
-
evidence and from that day can testify to you are.
-
And that was when we were seventy eighty people. From
-
that day, not a single Sunday pass without a new comer.
-
And my guys learn a lesson. So you know what
-
Edward Poon tells me. Faster since the day you thought
-
us to do that, we're doing it every every week.
-
We're putting as many backs as we can out and
-
if nobody come, nobody come, we'll pack it again. But
-
we will not allow that to change our hearts and
-
affect our faith. And the ushes surround the table.
-
Now they don't bring the table to the author on
-
the on the court.
-
Yeah, yeah, I brought it to the author pray one time,
-
one time in Chicola.
-
Now they say we surround the table, we pray.
-
Every week past it because we know that people go
-
through that door, not just when we see them physically
-
go through the door, they go to the door when
-
we see them spiritually. We've got a seed first in
-
our spirit Father, the name of Jesus. I will bring
-
this to a close now, and I want to thank
-
you so much that truly faith creates, and you are
-
ready to multiply good things into people's lives.
-
Hallelujah.
-
You're ready to mounted ladies and gentlemen, eyes close heads about.
-
You could just have a seed, that's all you have.
-
Past I don't have much. I just have a seed.
-
And the Bible says, if your faith is as small
-
as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain
-
be removed, be cast into the sea, and nothing shall
-
be impossible for you. Do you have a seed?
-
There's not one person in this room that has nothing,
-
even one ring. It is something.
-
Even one more welcome back on the table is something
-
even saying yes, Lord twenty twenty five, I'm going to
-
serve you. I don't know how. I don't know how
-
because my Sundays are so erretic maybe you're a pilot
-
and you're not sure when you're gonna be here on Sunday. No, no,
-
don't let any excuses rob you of the joy of
-
serving the lot. Remember years ago there was a guy
-
called Agnol who say, Pastor, I don't think I can
-
serve it all because I'm so busy.
-
I travel blah blah blah.
-
I say, no, tell me what you can give me,
-
he said, Pastor, probably the most one Thursday, one Thursday
-
night practice, and then I can play on Sunday. I
-
say a Now, if you only have one gift, one talent,
-
give it, don't hide it in the ground. And Acnel
-
said to me, Pastor, if you can accept I can
-
only serve once a month, I will do it.
-
I say, I accept. I accept.
-
I'm the pastor of this church. I will change the
-
rules if I have to, because you know, some of
-
these rules are man made anyway, so so it kind
-
of makes life easier. But I said, I will bend
-
it rule for you because I want you to serve.
-
And Acnel said, thank you, past that he came on that.
-
I say, you, as long as you say the third Thursday,
-
be faithful to the Thurdursday.
-
That one Thursday. Be faithful.
-
If you only have one gift, be faithful to that gift.
-
All I'm asking for you is to be committed to
-
one thing. And then from there on. He played and
-
played and played and played and played and played and
-
played until you know, there was one time we didn't
-
see him anymore.
-
Because you know, he he. I think he's gone to
-
another church.
-
But more importantly, more importantly, if you have one gift,
-
give it to the Lord.
-
If all you have is that one hour, give it
-
to the Lord. If all you have is shaking legs.
-
Why I say shaking legs because you're still fearful. You're doubtful.
-
But I will say to you, as Jesus said to Peter, come,
-
all you need to do is get out of the boat.
-
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
-
Thank you, Lord Lord.
-
I want to pray for these two precious antithes that
-
has been so faithful to ex clang you know, both
-
of you. If I were just to summarize your life
-
with one or two words, faithfulness is definitely.
-
One of them, but also generosity.
-
And you have not closed your hands to those that
-
God has wanted to bless. And I'm telling you you
-
I'm telling you right now, what God is telling me
-
to tell you is that God has seen every one
-
of your seats sold. God has seen it. You know
-
what he told the angel to tell Cornelius. He said Cornelius,
-
and Cornelius wasn't even a Christian. Yet Cornelius, God has seen.
-
God has seen all.
-
Your prayers and your arms.
-
Sister, my dear sister, the Lord is telling me to
-
tell you he has seen every bit of it. Nothing
-
is lost, There is no seat by the wayside, No,
-
nothing is lost. Nothing is lost. God's seed off because
-
you know why, both of you have every reason to
-
not do it, every reason. If you want to put
-
an a for paper you can write, I think the
-
paper will feel up line after line. Why I shouldn't,
-
Why I can't? You know, Lord, I'm already older in age.
-
You had to walk even sometimes to church, and yet
-
you have never made an excuse. And I tell you
-
what the Lord told me to tell you. He's going
-
to renew your youth. You know what the Bible actually
-
says that. No, he says, bless the Lord all my
-
soul and all that's within me. Someone zero three, Bless
-
the Lord all my soul and forget not all His benefits,
-
who forgives all your iniquities, heals all your diseases, who
-
redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving
-
kindness and tender mercies. Who sais your mouth with good things,
-
so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. I
-
speak that over your lives, in the mighty name of Jesus.
-
Don't you forget that the Lord use Abraham and Moses
-
in their seventies and eighties.
-
Don't you forget that?
-
Okay, the Lord knows, the Lord knows, the Lord sees,
-
and the Lord rewards the Lord rewards.
