You're listening to a message to go from acts Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
I'm gonna share with you a little bit of what
-
I'm going through. I can't really share everything because of time,
-
but I have a key passage for you today that
-
I will eleborate a little bit more. But if you
-
have your Bible is can you turn to Second Corinthians twelve,
-
verse seven to ten. It's on the screen for your benefit.
-
But it's good to flip the pages I'm going to read. Okay,
-
I'm going to lead this in reading this scripture. Unless
-
I should be exalted above measured, is Paul by the
-
abundance of the revelation, A torn in the flesh was
-
given to me a messenger of Satan, to buffet me
-
lest I've exalted above measure. Concerning these things, I pleaded
-
with the Lord three times that it might depart from me,
-
and he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you,
-
for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore mostly
-
I most gladly I would rather boast in my infirmities
-
that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore
-
I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches in needs, in persecution,
-
in distress, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak,
-
then I am strong. Amen. How many of us can
-
say this, How many of us can take pleasure in
-
our infirmities, How many of us can be filled with
-
joy in moments of persecution. Because when we realize, when
-
our mind set shifts into the perspective of God's mind,
-
then we will know that it is in our weakness
-
his strength is made perfect. For when I am weak,
-
then I am strong in Christen. So not of encourage
-
you by sharing this scripture to you. My story, my
-
testimony in progress will revolve around this scripture. And we're
-
going to cover different parts of this scripture when we
-
get to it later. But Paul had every reason the boss. Yeah,
-
he was a messenger of God. He was an apostle,
-
he was a missionary. He was the greatest evangelist that
-
we have ever known. He wrote majority of the epistles,
-
majority of the New Testament. He is someone that God
-
has chosen for such a time as this. But in
-
that choosing, some of us in our lives we may
-
tend to forget that at the end of the day,
-
it's the message that God has given to us and
-
not our own message. But yet yet sometimes we go
-
around with that spiritual pride, and perhaps I am in
-
a better place than you. I pray that none of
-
us will ever be in that situation. But there must
-
be a reason why God gave gave the torn to Paul.
-
Because for Paul, such a person that he is, he
-
is also successible to such a thought of pride that
-
he is in his heart. So God allowed this to
-
happen to Paul. God allowed the torn to be stuck,
-
to be in his flesh. Not only that, he allowed Satan,
-
a messenger of Satan, to have free flow, free flow,
-
whatever Satan desired, whatever, in terms of his trial and
-
testing him, whatever it is, it almost reminds me of
-
what Joe went through, right, It almost reminds me of
-
what Job went through. He had visions, Paul visions, revelations.
-
Success in ministry, perhaps some words have success in our workplaces.
-
We earn a lot of money, we are successful. Whenever
-
someone asks you what can I pray for that you
-
say nothing, All good, everything great. Where some words are
-
like that, I would be a little bit worse read
-
and concern if that's the case, because there is always
-
something to pray for. And I'm not going to put
-
anyone down here, but there is always something to give
-
thanks to the Lord for there's always something to pray for.
-
There is always something. Sometimes it may not even be
-
about you. Sometimes it may be about the people that's
-
around you. If you have nothing to pray for in
-
that season of your life, I pray that that's something
-
that you need prayer for, is the salvation of someone
-
that's close to you, the breakthrough of someone that's close
-
to you. Because it's not just about you, it's about
-
people that's around you as well. And hence, when God
-
commanded us to love him, he also said to love
-
those around us before we love ourselves. Amen. So there's
-
always something to give thanks the Lord for there's always
-
something to pray for. But yet God allowed this torn
-
to keep Paul grounded, humble and also dependent. Dependent. You
-
realize that Paul pleaded that the pain the torn may
-
depart from him. He didn't he didn't insist that he
-
depart from him. He prayed that it may that please,
-
if it's indeed accordance to your will, please that it
-
might depart from me. So if it doesn't depart Paul
-
will still pressed on. Amen. It's not about whether it
-
happens or it may not happen. That's the word might
-
over there. Sixth April was a date that me and
-
my wife we're gonna start off a bit lighthearted. Then
-
we will going to the maybe a little bit more heavy.
-
But sixth April was the date that me and my
-
wife decided we're going to try some new restaurant in
-
god a commanding. Now, do not put this restaurant down.
-
I'm not going to name the restaurant, but it's a
-
middle it's a restaurant. Okay, it's quite it's nice that
-
the food is not bad. I think my wife enjoyed
-
it a little bit, but okay, like it was average
-
about six out of ten. My wife is like, no,
-
but I'm a bit kinder, right, I'm a kind guys,
-
about six out of ten. Uh, you're gonna try you
-
can try it right. Six April we went to this restaurant,
-
try it out right, and honestly, not too bad, not
-
too bad. I ordered the staple, she ordered the spicy version.
-
I ordered the non spicy version. And as we were eating,
-
my dear wife and I were having a lovely conversation.
-
You know, we have really decided to really embrace the
-
other more husbands and wife. You know, we'll be married
-
four years. I know were babies are in in terms
-
of comparison to some of you. But it's really a
-
good thing to spend time with your spouse. Yeah, reminded
-
to do that yesterday. Yesterday, if we decided to download
-
a game on BS four and it's called it takes two.
-
It takes two. So some of you, if you, if
-
you have not tried a game, and if you're you
-
haven't been talking enough in your life, I encourage you
-
to go and try to play the game together. It
-
takes too Oh my goodness, it really takes to to click.
-
It takes to the communicate. And there was time all
-
like this shit like get it done. But but you know,
-
it's it's lovely to spend time. So we're having a conversation,
-
very pleasant one. I think she was sharing me about
-
her life, her journey, and we're talking about different things,
-
showing each other cat pictures. Uh and suddenly, out of nowhere,
-
as she was talking, I suddenly stopped talking. Okay, I
-
suddenly stopped talking. I suddenly didn't say a word right.
-
Didn't work, not even a single word, and I think
-
I was invisible. This stressler a little bit. I think
-
she didn't know this initially. Yeah, I told her, I
-
think I don't feel well. Listen, why why? Why you're
-
not not feeling well? Is it? But we are exaggeration?
-
So I went to the the the I felt something
-
my throat right, but I was thinking to myself, I
-
ate chicken. How can chicken won't get stuck in the
-
throat right, just rice and chicken. So I went to
-
the toilet to sink and I was trying to cough, cough, cough, cough, cough,
-
don't stop coughing, trying to get it out. But it did.
-
It did not go away. The feeling was so bad,
-
it was so sharp, it was so pain. I came
-
back to my seat and I told my wife, Dear,
-
I think I'm gonna die then, and there I'm gouldn't die.
-
Let's she said, why something is stuck in my throat?
-
I think it's fish bonne, but I don't the last
-
time I checked fish, It's not chicken. Chicken is fish?
-
Different things? So I like, okay, I cannot I cannot eat.
-
And after we paid we go off you. I was
-
driving in the car. I think I even asked her
-
to drive. If I'm not mistaken, or is it maybe
-
the other way around? Near mind? She she She then
-
checked her phone for remedies, right, remedies on how to
-
actually get something that's stuck, that's loatching your throat out
-
of your mouth. Right, and she came on a brilliant idea.
-
She said, Okay, Daniel, stop me at nine nice speed.
-
Mat I said, okay, nine nice people, whatever it thinks,
-
help me, babe, I cannot take this anymore, so painful,
-
so hoping. I can't keep you know, it's so painful.
-
Right she stopped me that nice we must I say, okay,
-
I'm here. Then she went down. She came out with
-
a bread. What's that brain for for you? Okay, oh braid,
-
I get it, I get it. I get a lodge. Okay.
-
She went up. She took one whole breid. She wet
-
it into a big ball lump of I don't know
-
anyone have ever enjoyed braid dipped in water. Let me
-
just break it to you like it doesn't taste good. Okay,
-
it doesn't taste good. So she took the whole bread water.
-
She said, nah, I said, what do I do it
-
is swallow it. Okay, whatever it takes, I'm gonna do
-
it right. Because sometimes when you're desperate, you desperate measures
-
will have to come into place. So I took the
-
whole bread sock with water. I wish it was egg,
-
but it was so with water. And I put in
-
my throat and I grew. The whole thing went down.
-
I think it was three times three bites of big
-
chunks of white braid with water. And I think it
-
was even not even the white braid. It was some
-
sort of flavored braid with water. Uh no, nice. But
-
but at that time I didn't care. I didn't care.
-
I give you what her papers, I'll eat. So I
-
eat it. And she asked me, how are you feeling?
-
I was like still stop, Like okay, this is just
-
let me rests. Doesn't me a rest? She went and
-
do her own thing. I was scaled on the bid
-
for a while. The whole time, I can I stop
-
coughing the whole night, and then it was eleventh at
-
TPM and night it was a Saturday night, and I
-
was always the worship bleed the next day right, only
-
my second time worship leading twenty twenty five Praise scot
-
for worship leaders and Rice stopped in the House of
-
the Lord. But however, I was, I was scareded. I
-
was excited right long time now. Actually I was excited
-
to give my best for the Lord. But then this happened.
-
So I decided, okay, no, I'm going to try and
-
get it fixed. It was eleven at TPM and night
-
I went down to clinic Aurora, Aurora, because I thought
-
the Aurora will help me. So I went down to
-
the clinic and I met with this fine young doctor,
-
Malay doctor, very very nice, very very kind, very gentle.
-
And then she asked me, ah, dick, I call me.
-
You're younger than me. Uh day, I said, cool, start,
-
I'm gonna suck it, mata. And she said, okay, help you.
-
I can help you, no problem. Sit down, okay, see
-
now open your mouth uh see ah uh louder, h louder.
-
Put your tongue out. I don't know if you're feeling
-
felt this all right, doctor, It's very difficult to actually
-
say I put your tongue out, okay, because every time
-
are you trying to see let me go and touch
-
my wife's tongue. Okay, if I take a stick, which
-
they use a stick to try and open the moment
-
you touch your close no, are you sure not? Yeah?
-
But it was very sensitive, right, so I couldn't put
-
my mouth big enough for her to actually see what
-
was starting inside. Finally she took a caliper she put
-
in my mouth. She gaves it open, so I couldn't
-
move it all. But I was still fighting the thing.
-
She saw it right. She took the tweezer. Then she said,
-
they jang janger. I tell you, I like to exacerbate things,
-
but this time now I'm not acaserating. Okay. She was
-
really very very jung. I can felt her conjungnessang. Then
-
can see her head okay. The other suddenly said okay,
-
I got it. I saw a number. She clip it.
-
I said in my mouth, said do you feel it?
-
Do you want me to take it out? Of course?
-
The it out loud, you open my mouth up, I
-
can talk there, she clipping, she was about to take
-
it out. I was so happy. Right then I heard
-
the word I heard the word oops. I was like, oops,
-
what hey, don't oops? So we're taking down oops? Then
-
she said oops. I was like, what do you mean oops,
-
oops to the bus day so that let the puss
-
tried to acting the thing like go on the thing.
-
Now I was ready king, you know, I was saying,
-
what do you mean to the pus a party? What
-
you mean to the puss? Then she assured me so
-
that already fall into the tronies okay, following the I
-
was like, okay, following the troney. Then she asked me,
-
you know, she asked me so much, mamass, that's okay,
-
that's okay. How do you feel? How do you feel?
-
And I say okay, okay, any pain no no, I think,
-
no pay any more. Then she said okay. She says
-
that look at her that nah, any but any medicine
-
not She said, any man, but not my son. What
-
do you want okay? No, no, no okay. Then then
-
after I said, after I woke out of the counter
-
about to pay her, there's I felt it again, I said,
-
doctor Rasala, still feeling it inside my throat. Then she
-
said to me, no it did plassy bo. I said,
-
what prassibo Plassy? I said, no, I really feel it.
-
I said, now mine, now mind, you just go and
-
you find limao ah limou. Ah, you find him out
-
inside the light. The lemon got s inside. Are you drinking? Ah? Hello?
-
Now look at doctor, doctor now eleven pm. What way
-
I'm gonna find the mau. So I had a brilliant idea.
-
I went to Ali's the Mama down the road. I
-
order limao ice extra Li Mau, I said, bug, and
-
you bugg it's extra, that's ab support bach. I was
-
so thanks. You look at me sprubg sup supporing. I
-
get upon it, supporting it. So I past I bet
-
ten ring it for limo ice extra limao. Okay, So
-
I went. I squeezed all the limao inside nicely inside,
-
and then I drink. It was the most sour drink
-
I ever, they said, but I didn't care. I just
-
wanted the tout dissolve down my throat, get rid of
-
the thorn that is in my flesh, that thorn that
-
was there to buffet me. It was there to just
-
take away all my my my joy. And I realized
-
that it didn't help, So I down the Holy Mau.
-
I went back home. I think by the time Russia
-
was already because the next day we got very early,
-
and my prains this this Lord help I need to
-
worship le next week. The next day later in five
-
hours time, I also tended to text Albert, Albert, Uh,
-
something happened to me? Can you take you know you
-
guys be singing takes on? Right? You take for me?
-
Why didn't I didn't? I prayed, and God just dropped
-
a scripture in my heart, the story of the Bible.
-
And I was reminded when Paul and Silas were in
-
prisoned in the Book of X when he were in prison,
-
and at midnight, right at midnight and midnight, I was
-
facing this. At midnight, okay, and midnight they were praying
-
and singing hymns to God. And suddenly there was an earthquake.
-
The foundation of the prison. Doors were shaken, and immediately
-
the doors flung open. That was my prayer. Trot flung open.
-
In the name of Jesus, Let this thorne be removed,
-
like the chains were removed and were set loose. And
-
he shall go down the stomach or coughed out, and
-
whatever it is, it shall be gone, in the name
-
of Jesus. Amen. I prayed that, and I went asleep
-
next morning, the cock crow still there, still there, so painful.
-
I came to church, and I'm like, okay, I'll tell
-
you what. Paul and Silas praise. I gotta continue praising.
-
Got a corninual praising. So I let you worship. I
-
can tell you what. I can tell you what I felt.
-
I literally felt something moving up from the bottom of
-
my throat, which the doctor to the puss. Yeah, got
-
stuck even deeper, and he came out slowly, slowly, and
-
he got stuck up here. Okay. At that time, I
-
looked at my wife and I said, I cannot take
-
this anymore. I'm going to the doctor now. So I
-
went to the doctor down the street over here. I
-
don't know what you'll know. There's a doctor down the
-
street over here, so you ever get sick, and then
-
to go if I hear a doctor. I met this
-
guy guy doctor right, and the guy doctor say the
-
same thing. Okay, open your mouth again. Okay, I know
-
all the proceedure. Okay, open you'll engage my mouth whatever
-
do do? Okay. Then I say, you look at me nicely,
-
you doshlight nicely. I saw it, Okay, good get it out.
-
He got it out. He took it out, and I
-
never felt better in my entire life. There was the
-
best feeling that I ever felt in thirty four years
-
of my life. I felt like, oh, I'm free. In
-
the name of Jesus. If you don't know what it
-
means to be free, this is what it means to
-
be free. He got launched out from my my sol.
-
That's the feeling, you know, when the thorn comes out
-
of your flesh. Oh, hallelujah, praise a lot. I was expecting.
-
I was expecting this big thorn, this strong thorn, like
-
what common used to say. You know, she has a
-
colgoule bladder, right, and then she always compared with her husband.
-
And then she said her one kuchie money, a small
-
one makes so much trouble for her. Johns and big
-
like eggs so pain, but hers was so pain. And
-
I was thinking to myself, this, this thorn must be
-
the worst thorne ever imagined the world next life. It
-
was like a tissue paper. It was so it was moist,
-
you're so flimsy. Was less than one cm. This thorn
-
almost killed me. Come on, if you ever feel down
-
or small about your girl bladder, remember my story. A
-
tissue paper almost killed me. Yeah, of course I didn't
-
found out. I didn't find out what kind of bone
-
is this? That must be all this, This must be
-
some kind of haska from the rice. Rice, a singular
-
grain of rice almost killed me. So that's why I'm
-
firsting rice. Now I don't eat rice anymore. I hate rice.
-
This is what happened. This, This was so bad. And
-
the thorn, You're so painful, You're so painful. But God
-
delivered me amen first thorn. First storn was delivered next month.
-
Fifth of me. Now that this is where it gets
-
a little bit serious. Actually it's seriously. You got at
-
that time was very serious. Next night, so I got
-
a message from my from my right, I don't Me
-
and my sister were closed, but not really that close.
-
But she decided to text me that morning and so
-
many messages, pictures, and the first picture she showed me
-
was the door that was open. Found out that my
-
dad was acting up again. Now, for some of you,
-
you may not know my dad, and my dad is
-
actually a cancer survivor. He survived from his uh colonne
-
cancer I always confused with prostrate but colonne cancer and
-
also born cancer. He also has a hip replacement. Then
-
that Jesus has set him free. Last year, last year
-
he was set free from cancer, but he has trouble
-
walking up. Okay, trouble. He's seventy six years old. This here,
-
uh you look at him, you will see that he's
-
not that strong anymore, but he's still heavy born density,
-
very hi born density. So we got his picture and
-
looked at it and look at it's like. The next
-
message I saw was Dad's missing. D told my sister
-
Joys that she won. He wants to go to Moar
-
moa station. In my mind and my sister's mind were
-
both panicking, like, how are you gonna get to Moar
-
if you don't know? More is in Joha? Okay, how
-
do we get a war from here? I was thinking,
-
you take train on all. My dad did actually disappear
-
from our house before and went all the way to
-
kl losing, so I would never put anything of this
-
past him, like, okay, he's an adventurous man. He likes
-
to do things by his own accord. But he disappeared,
-
and at that time he was wearing he was doing
-
a storm cut, and we were worried, loved because more
-
right then, of course, a little found out. It was
-
a coffee shop near down or called war Station okay,
-
I didn't know that. I didn't know that. But he
-
was missing for one hour. He was missing me and
-
my sister was trying franklically to find him in our cars.
-
And then finally, after an hour of about fifteen minutes
-
of searching, I saw him on the inside a drain.
-
Not fell down. He was just sitting on the floor
-
and his LIGs were dangling inside the drain and his
-
stom cut was inside the drain. So I don't know
-
what happened. Last. When I got got to him and
-
asked him, that are you okay? What happened? He started
-
talking to me about the birds the sky. He's got
-
talking to me about helicopter. I'm thinking at the time,
-
I didn't know yet, Okay, I didn't. I didn't even
-
look that far. It was a Monday, after I think
-
six May is a monday, right, fifth May was a Monday.
-
And then I was like, okay, okay, let me get
-
you home, right. He didn't struggle. He followed me into
-
my car right, and then we took him home. We
-
set him down, and then that's where it started. Okay,
-
that's how he started. Something is off because he started
-
to say things like I am. I am the reincarnate God,
-
I am the I am, I am a messenger. He
-
started to say that, oh, the devil is here, the
-
enemy is here. Please remove all the clothes from the wardrobe.
-
Helicopter is waiting outside to fetch us. Please the loaders outside.
-
We had to shift house, moving house, and we started
-
to realize that something. We called his friend brother David Long,
-
he came over from his church, spoke to him and
-
immediately he said, David Long, your ex your services are expired.
-
I'm like, okay, this is totally something Awfulady that I
-
consulted Busters spoke to me and said, okay, you better
-
and along with doctor Jail because which is a medical doctor,
-
told me better send him to the emergency. So Tuesday, Tuesday,
-
sixth May, we decided to send him the emergency and
-
it was a very long killer. I don't know how
-
many if you know government hospitals right because at the
-
day financial is also a thing. So long quill. We
-
were in the emergency from I think Tuesday all the
-
way until Sunday, Sunday, uh And it was that week
-
also that our scheduled to go to Burgassi, Okay for
-
mission trip. I almost caught Passandra, which is our missions pastor,
-
and told her boss, by the way, she is my boss, Edward,
-
I don't think I can make the mystery. And I
-
tell you what. Maybe to some of us we will say, yeah,
-
it's understandable. Your dad is in hospital, right, your dad
-
is a yeah, please go and take care of your dad.
-
But at that time, the conviction was that I still
-
got to live my life. I still got to do
-
the work of the Lord, right. But the feeling was there,
-
The feeling of distress, the feeling of just being in
-
a place where I have never been been in before,
-
was still there because all this war, when I dealt
-
with my dad it was cancer. But I can still
-
talk to him. I can still say, Dad, eat your fuda.
-
He'll be stubborn, law, but he's still eat. But this
-
time around, something is different because he's no longer dead.
-
Because who you are is actually in your spirit, right,
-
your soul. You can have the physical appearance, but if
-
you do not act, or you don't have that rememory
-
of who you are and who people are around you,
-
pretty much it's not him, right. You can't blame him
-
for saying things or being mean. We can't blame him
-
for not eating because he can't remember, so you just
-
couldn cared for him. And so I was disturbed. I
-
was really disturbed. I was so tempted, right, I was
-
so tempted the coppassentra and I almost did I actually
-
texted her. But you know, the Lord just whispered, like
-
how he whispered in my heart that you gotta praise.
-
You got the praise in every situation. Don't just sing
-
the song that your praise is a weapon. It is
-
more than a sound. Don't just sing it, but acted
-
out do it. But this time around, a still small
-
voice was whispering, it's gonna be okay. And I still remember,
-
very vividly, says, let this burden go, Let this burden go.
-
You're so happy cutting weight physical wait, but you're not
-
happy letting your own personal burden and baggage just go.
-
In life, we have to learn to let our burdens
-
and our baggages go, not just on the floor, but
-
put it on the one that can sustain you. Put
-
it on the one that can stand for his young
-
is easy, yeah, his burdens like and I just want
-
to encourage all of us be sensitive to the voice
-
of the Holy Spirit because he does speak. And when
-
he spoke, I felt the confidence in my heart and
-
the confirmation that came from my wife saying the media
-
and Sally, she doesn't call media. It's got me, bab
-
uh babe. Uh. I'll be here for you. I'll be
-
here for your parents. Uh. And I'm going to take
-
care of that right And with that assurance, and I
-
want to thank and affirm my wife for this and
-
I and I appreciate you for doing it. I felt
-
the peace to go a piece that surpassed all understanding
-
to go to Burgassi. So I went to Burgassi. But
-
a key you not this whole trip. I must not lie.
-
I was a little bit distracted. I was a bit distrected.
-
If you have the next light, because you know why
-
I'm distructed. Next light, nextv because the night before when
-
we admitted him to the hospital. This is why we
-
actually to my dad to the hospital, because we found
-
him awake at night at two am, opening all the lights,
-
opening all the doors, and he sat there outside from
-
two am all the way and just seventy am in
-
the morning, without moving. So we would this stop. You
-
can get what I mean. And in the hospital. I
-
think it was after I returned from Bukassi. But so
-
I went to Bakassi having all this in mind, and
-
my mom just constantly non stop. At one point I
-
even got annoyed my mom, My mom, I'm working, But
-
at the same time, I didn't want to say it out.
-
But I'm just being real with you guys. You know
-
I'm not here to paint a picture that I'm perfect.
-
I'm not. I do struggle, and this is the struggle
-
that I was facing. At the one point, I was
-
actually annoyed with my mom. But then the before I
-
say something that I will regret, I remember, actually, I'm
-
not there, you are. She's there, and she's bearing the
-
full brand of what my dad is doing and I
-
and I help back and thank God that I helped back.
-
Thank God that got helped my tongue back. But so
-
the whole trip was just fully that I couldn't focus.
-
I was in the I can be in the car, right,
-
I can be in the car. And the whole time
-
I was just like, like, no one stopped checking in
-
my dad, checking out my mom. It's my mum, Okay,
-
I'm trying to arrange my my my my wife, like
-
can you go my wife, I tell you are super
-
kuang hole so kung hold. She's so like willing to
-
help out, help us out in our our area in
-
this in this season, she she really went all the way.
-
She went all the way. So really really really, uh,
-
you find yourself a good wife. It's gonna be good,
-
a man, it's gonna be good. So she went. She
-
really held the thought. There was once that my dad
-
treatened to hit her with your tongue guard right, trying
-
to scolding her because my wife was like sit down
-
or eat do something like he wanted to grab oh yeah,
-
he he wanted to grab the file or something. He
-
went and take different things, the posters down, you know,
-
the the hospital posters, and then she she stopped. She
-
stopped her stop him. So he was like telling my wife,
-
I'm gonna beat you. Are I'm gonna beat you. Are
-
you better stop, I'm gonna beat you associated to end
-
all of that. The final night in Bakassi, I was ministering.
-
I got some pictures as well. Next light there was
-
I think next light is me and my dad. When
-
they got just admitted that's my that's my mom, my
-
dad and me. Really to spend time together. Next light, Yeah,
-
there's me trying for your uncle or just on the
-
way to the airport, just side pluck if you ever
-
want to cutos so know how it tastes like it's
-
about selling out, then not too bad, uh, and you
-
won't really want to try. Go to the Ka airport.
-
It's nobody care up there and can get it for
-
free and same price. Okay. Next light. This is the
-
pastors in Bakassi that I managed to have the time
-
to really minister them, and I'm really blessed in return
-
how much they were also blessing to us. They really
-
took care. So on the final night part of France
-
par Frand's birthday, she decided to blanchard us for dinner. Right,
-
take us out for dinner, but France is our pasta
-
in Indonesia. Right, he passes out in Indonesia in Bakassi. Uh,
-
and he took us out with his family. Joys Uh
-
your bell is her Indonesian name, Joys my choice okay.
-
And then the rest of them was there, so your
-
best us was there so and then little Sandra was
-
there so together equal deb and part friends. So the
-
whole family was there and they decided to bland us
-
this very nice Indonesian cuzina, right, very nice, And I
-
tell you what it was. I was so distracted right
-
as I was eating a sit check in my phone.
-
Then I was eating half You know how when you
-
eat and you look at your phone the same time, right,
-
you don't really focus and pay attention. Then I ate
-
something a dish. I felt very nicer this dish. Then
-
I realized, oh, it's fish. Sorry, so this niceitchup fish.
-
I was eating it, and about the end, close to
-
the end of the dinner, we were talking, we're just
-
teach that thing. And then we were talking about life ministry,
-
and I was still being very distant in my head.
-
My mom constantly updating me. I'm trying to arrange stuff
-
with my wife. And then suddenly I saw this last
-
portion of fish, and the Asian in me is like,
-
I cannot waste food. I must eat this fish. So
-
I saw it. In my mind, I'm thinking I just
-
had an experience of something that was stuck in my throat.
-
Cannot be happens the second time in a row. Some
-
of this thing is so delicious, it's so small, How
-
can it harm such a big person like me. So
-
I decided to myself it was in my mother. By
-
the way, I was already thinking all these thoughts in
-
my head. Right should I swallow it? Because it's such
-
a hassle to take it out and take out the smaller,
-
the bus on the whole thing, and I fallow. It
-
was in my mouth. I had the chance to take
-
it out, okay, but no, I decided to swallow it.
-
And I guess what happened? Round two? This time it's
-
gonna start again, my hope. I tell you what. In
-
that moment, all fear, all exciting, all thoughts about my parents,
-
my dad, my wife, everything under her son because he minisly,
-
all disappeared from the window. The only focus was that
-
bond that was starting in my throat. So when the
-
toilet round two, I know Ludio experience, right when the
-
toilet drink water, gurgle, gurgle, course, bee come back, Joyce,
-
look at me, pasta Aghan, that's what what? What? What
-
is your suggestion? Then she said, accomplican ROTI I'm like, okay, rothy,
-
she bought these bitch chesepreto I the hole dinner, Selena.
-
I'm cutting rice, cutting carbs, and I'm like eat the
-
old bread. Tell you I felt so guilty eating the braid,
-
but I know choice. Then Joyce said, oh, I couldn't
-
put website color you buncho the bath along. Now I
-
was like, I know, I know, I know. I took
-
the braid. No. Whole night I was eating the braid again.
-
I was like thinking to myself, why did I even
-
swallow this bond? I couldn't think get it out at
-
any given time. I decided I texted my wife. I
-
think my wife must be laughing like mad at home,
-
like why in the world this man never learned from mistake.
-
So I was eating the braid the whole time. Right
-
the next morning, you know, Sunday service, but ever was preaching.
-
I was like, aha, I know, I praise. It's a weapon.
-
It's more than a sound. Last I know, I know.
-
God spoke to me right cause your burdens alone. All right,
-
all right, well I do both. God, please take this
-
torn out, Please please praise, praise, praise. Indonesian people praise.
-
So what I tell you where they go, they go
-
wild for the law. You know, he really turned around,
-
and you sit turned around. He really turned times and yeah,
-
and I tell you what their service, their service after
-
the worship got a word, right after they got prayer.
-
The prayer lasts for two hours, okay. They pray for
-
every single person in the congregation. So total the service
-
about three and a half hours of four hours okay,
-
stuck by eight and by twelth. So this is what
-
you can expect, you know. That's why their prayers get unswered,
-
because they really mean business. Someone or was prey time
-
minutes with hire ready, with tied ready, So I sing
-
one song? Was so tired ready, I sing one song?
-
So tiredy someone wanted tught to come out. No, So
-
I decided I must, I must do my best. So
-
in my limited dance most and my two left legs,
-
I decided to dance for the Lord undignified. But the
-
bonde did not come out. The bond did not come out.
-
But friends look at me away, look at me all
-
the way to the airport. My prayer, my prayers is
-
go please do not allow me to bring Indonesian bones
-
back to Malaysia. We look at me, and he said,
-
I proclaimed that in Jesus name, he was real praying.
-
I was like, WHOA accepted? Lord? So before you let
-
in Malaysia. The bone be gone. So I was like, God,
-
help me. I'm really weak. I got the thing stuck
-
in my throat. I got my dad, which is like
-
an emotional torn in my life. I had a physical
-
tone experience. God, please help me, and that's when God spoke.
-
That's the key verse I had for you today. That's
-
when God spoke. The less I be exalted above measure,
-
but abundance of revelation. Daniel. You may be a pastor, Daniel,
-
you may be a minister, you may minister into many
-
young lives, you may do a lot of good work
-
for me, but less you'll be exalted above measure. Lest
-
you take the glory from me. This torne is a
-
reminder to you, you of what and who I am,
-
and I deserve I and I alone deserve the glory.
-
You know, for one instance, not be humble, for one instance,
-
be proud of your accomplishments, of who you are. The
-
torn in the flesh was given to me concerning these things.
-
I pleaded with the Lord three times, and I just realized.
-
I just realized the Lord spoke to me. It was
-
three times, three different torn experience, and I pleaded with
-
the God, please please take this away from me. Therefore
-
I take pleasure in my informities. Gladly bolsting my informities,
-
the power crist may arrest upon me, for when I'm
-
weak and I'm strong. It was then that I realized
-
that it was three times. The first time, praise got
-
me true. The power of praise as I praised, the
-
torn went up. The second time, casting my burdens on
-
the Lord got me true. Right, the Lord whispered in
-
my ear, casts your burdens on me. Take my yoke,
-
Take my yoke and go. Don't be afraid of what
-
happens back home, because there's Rochelle, there's your mom, there's
-
church people around you. Just go and be a blessing.
-
You're not going to go for a month. You're just
-
going to go for two days. Three days got me true.
-
And the third time, when nothing else works, praise they
-
didn't work, you know, prayer didn't work. Casting the burdens
-
of the Lord didn't work. I realized that God's grace
-
was the one that got me true. God's grace, and
-
then it is it was all part of God's plan
-
that the tourn was given to me. It was in
-
that moment I truly rested on the lot. That was
-
the moment in the airport, actually rested. See God, okay,
-
take over, take over the torn the torns in my life.
-
And I stopped trying. I stopped trying to literally cough
-
it out. I stopped trying to drink or third how
-
much water I drank. I stopped trying to vibrate because
-
it was expensive at the airport. I stopped trying all
-
methods la okay. At the same time, I also stopped worrying.
-
But my dad, I realized that I stopped. I actually
-
down to a few Netflix shows to watch on the plane,
-
but I even stopped that decided I'm just gonna arrest.
-
So I entered the airplane. Right in the airplane I rented,
-
I just put my head down. At the moment it
-
got faster in your seatbelts, I was gone into the
-
realm of the heaven. Lease. It was just it was
-
just such a quiet moment with the Lord, and the
-
whole journey back was a very smooth one. If in fact,
-
I don't know how the flight went faster than it
-
should be. Some people we do. I will fight end
-
up reaching in one and a half hours. I don't
-
know what happened. Maybe the airplane was very fast, but
-
it was in that moment when I landed Suddenly I
-
realized the when I woke up and I would take
-
my luggage, say how come, how I'm born, no more
-
no feeling? And God answered my prayer. Amen answered my prayer.
-
Three tons, three pleaded, and he was taken away from me. However, friends,
-
things did not get easier my dad. Sometimes in life,
-
when we pray and there's breakthroughs that happen on life, right,
-
it's easy to give God praise, say hallelujahs, say a
-
praise a lot, but you come back home and you're
-
greeted with dead, being in the worst situation than when
-
you got him out. Got a call from the hospital
-
on the Tuesday when I just got back on Sunday, Tuesday,
-
we got a call fron hospital and the call was
-
that my dad was missing again. Hospital look at missing
-
on the urergency. We found out that he saw a
-
glimpse of someone he knew and then he followed him
-
out and he was lost. Luck in emergency there were
-
too many nurses, too many cases around, not enough nurses,
-
so they couldn't find him. I went there I found
-
him again in the alley right, he was just in
-
his cell look at me and said, oh, my son,
-
my son. He looked at me and then he put
-
him down on the onto the bit cat for him.
-
And then much later I think we got finally got
-
him a bit, finally got a bit. We went, we
-
got him a bit, and then all happy. We had
-
the best woman alive, right, me and my my wife,
-
and find my mom because my mom came later, got
-
him right, totally got to be. I think it was
-
the same day that he got lost. Right, we got
-
the bit so called bitla. We we wheeled him all
-
the way to the nine space, so nice, so comfortable,
-
an private space, private room, everything right. And then suddenly
-
we found out the doctor say, the nurse say, Salah
-
Salah Chong, Salah choga wrong the same roughly the same age,
-
roughly the same surname Chong about wrong person. So he
-
had the wheeling bag all the way to the e
-
when he stuck in the mergency for another seventies. So
-
the whole ordeal was about to about close two weeks
-
before we actually got him a bit a bit. My
-
mom sometimes me, we have to stay in the hospital
-
sitting sitting on a chair, not even a proper chair,
-
a plastic chair. Okay that plastic chairs have to go
-
back for it, and by right, only for patient. That's
-
how much patients actually come to the hospital, so they
-
need all the chairs that they can get in the
-
emergency room. So I'm not complaining, but I'm just feeling
-
for my mom. Right the bit it's not gonna come up.
-
It's just a very it's not humane, it's not human.
-
So I really feel for all the people that are
-
really caring for their dads, their parents. I know, I
-
know how it feels. Finally got him the bit right,
-
and then we realized that the doctor's report came to
-
We did multiple city scans. He there was even once
-
he had a fall. We got a call from the
-
hospital at ten eleven am at a pm at night.
-
He got a fall. He hit his head, his head.
-
The whole part was was was bunker and it was
-
the red full rain in color. And then we were
-
just realizing that, oh no, we were just fearing for
-
the worst that could happen. Got there, realized that yeah,
-
he had a fell fall and it was a very
-
bad fall, very bad for this Sorry, ever since then
-
you go to his word. Now you will see that
-
his high raise patient. He's the only rate for over there.
-
Ever since we were there, five people passed away. There's
-
the mood there is in the hospital. Death all around,
-
uh people in front of us. I just got news
-
that his neighbor that just came in was actually a
-
brother that used to pray for me when I was younger.
-
He fell down from a three onto a saw, had
-
to amputate his legs. It's a very bad, horrific incident.
-
He doesn't even know who he is anymore, lost his memory.
-
So I all this to say, well, you know all
-
this to say that we got the treasure our lives.
-
We're still here on earth. We've got to live our
-
lives to the fullest because we wouldn't know what happened
-
to us tomorrow. Only God knows what happened for us.
-
We're going to continue to live our lives to its
-
fullest potential every day, loving Jesus, in man, loving Jesus.
-
And my dad was just in a place where the
-
report came out and we found out that his brain
-
was damaged by thirty percent. Okay, brain damage and it's irreversible.
-
That means his memory would never come back according to
-
the doctor, sir. But I believe in a greater God. Amen.
-
But you know, according to the doctors, he won't remember
-
me ever. Again. We had we had uh, my wife
-
personally had experienced this. I think, I don't. I don't
-
think I am understating it to say that it's very heartbreaking, la. Uh.
-
It is really weird, heartbreaking for me to go through
-
this because kind of recognized me right one. The moment
-
that we got him to the other world. He was
-
so happy, he did so many smiley faces, funny faces,
-
you ask. My wife was so cute, you know. So.
-
I wish I recorded something of it, but I didn't.
-
This is my memory, la. Whatever we got him back,
-
after we got him back into the ear again, that
-
he started to forget me. And it was that moment
-
that I wrote down. I broke down quite badly.
-
Uh.
-
And I just told my wife, I I full of regret,
-
full of regret. The Lord minister to me and the
-
Lord spoke to me two different ones, and I still
-
remember told me that it's a privilege you care for
-
your parents, right, counting all joy, counting all joy when
-
you're going through various trials, counting all joy, because the
-
joy of the Lord is your strength. From that day,
-
I clang onto his word, the word that was given
-
to me, and I continue to care for my dad
-
right without complaining. There was even times where we had
-
to pick up his remains just lack of a better word,
-
right with our bare hands, with thesue. People only had
-
to wash the After that, I'm going to share you
-
three points that I learn from this whole encounter, and
-
we do close the service very quickly. But the first
-
thing I want to share you is that thorns number
-
one point number one tons reminds us that praise is
-
indeed a weapon. What is the use of a weapon
-
if we do not use it to attack? Thorns reminds
-
us that pray a weapon against who, against who, against
-
the dark, the darkness of this world, against the enemy,
-
against everything that he stands for. Praise is what that
-
he will run away from. The Name of Jesus has power,
-
and as long as it comes out from the heart
-
that is pure, the enemy will run from it. Amen,
-
Praise is a weapon. Is more than a sound. Praise
-
is not based on how you feel. It focuses on
-
who God is, who is the object of your praise?
-
Who is the object of your worship? This was the
-
first point I was reminded, when I was going through
-
the physical tone that it was in my troath, right,
-
it was just there in my flesh, and I was
-
so damnted to give it. But Lord the Lord reminded
-
me praise, praise, and as I praise, it was slowly
-
lifted up from my troath the man when Paul and silence,
-
we're praying and singing hymns to God. In want to
-
introduce you to a Hebrew word called shima okay, shimah right,
-
am I pronouncing correctly samah Right. It's a Hebrew word
-
for the word here, and word here in Hebrew actually
-
means two things. One is hearing and one is doing.
-
You can't just as as the Israelites receive this, right,
-
oh God of Israel, sima like you, you people of Israel.
-
You're hearing this from the Lord right at the same
-
time you hear it, it means that you have to
-
do it as well. It's not just here and not
-
do it. Miss. What it means is that, Daniel, if
-
you heard from the Lord that praise is indeed a
-
weapon that praise is indeed your breakthrough. Then don't just
-
hear it, but also do it in the name of Jesus,
-
and you shall be set free. And in my case,
-
God set me free from this physical tone, this physical ailment.
-
As funny as it may sound, the experience that when
-
you're hearing it, when I exisserate or make it for
-
your your pleasure, of your ears. But it was actually
-
real story hashtag Okay, it was really something went to
-
I thought I was going to die, but praise got
-
me true. Praise set me free. Amen, some stady four one.
-
I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise
-
shall continually be in my mouth XTV. You can follow me.
-
It'll be great. But there's verses that you have missed.
-
Thank you. I think one more slight next No, no, no,
-
I don't Yeah, yeah, I think next light will be
-
the worst. Yeah. I will bless the Lord at all times.
-
His praise shall continually be my mouth. Second point I
-
have for you today is that thorns invites us to
-
cast our burdens on the Lord. All right, Thorns invites
-
us to cast our burdens on the Lord. I think
-
the slight is a bit messed up. So do follow
-
me a bit. I think I mess up the order.
-
I think I did right, Sonny. Sorry, sorry, just follow me.
-
Uh okay. So the point number two is Towns invites
-
us to cast our burdness on the Lord. This was
-
something that the Lord reminded me before I go into
-
Because he casts your burdens on the lot, don't worry
-
about what's happening. You know. The enemy may use a
-
physical tone, something to really pup you and injure you.
-
But at the same times, when that doesn't work, he
-
will use something that's emotional. He touches the emotions, your
-
feelings for your parents, your love for your parents. He
-
used it, and Twns invites us to cast our burdness
-
a lot. Surrender isn't bigness. It's transferring the weight to
-
the one who is strong enough to carry it. Amen,
-
you may not be strong enough to carry a burden,
-
but we all know who can because he did. He
-
carried the cross. He endured the cross to the point
-
of death. He was obedient, and he's yoke is light. Amen,
-
his load is easy. His burden is like. So I
-
really encourage you that Towns will invite us on the
-
invite all of you today. If there's a burden upon
-
your life, upon your shoulders, cast it unto the Lord.
-
Sometimes are emotional anxiety, or family, the weight of responsibility,
-
the fear of losing someone your love. But Jesus invites
-
you to cast, not carry your burdens. When Jesus spoke
-
to the disciples, he invited them. He instructed them to
-
cast the net into the sea, and they read many fish.
-
Sometimes all we have to do is to cast that
-
net and not carry that net, because some if you
-
carry that net, there is a huge chance that we
-
may be entangled by that net. The very thing that
-
was meant to capture our breakthrough is now used to
-
entangle your feet, and you may fall because of that.
-
In this season of waiting, in this season surrendering, I
-
learned a few things. Who's the keybod is and so
-
it's also up there. I just want to illustrate something.
-
She knows what to do. Give me a caught hitch. Hmm, yeah,
-
whatever called that decks your fancy? Okay, all right, just
-
hold it, Okay, just hold it. So in this season
-
of waiting, in this season of understanding, surrendering, I've learned
-
a few things if you're not careful during our waiting period.
-
Do you have a next light for that next TV?
-
I think it's the next light, next light, just hollow me. Okay, yeah,
-
if you're not careful during our waiting period, in our
-
waiting period, if you're not careful the waiting maiden. Wait,
-
that may hold us down. Wait that may keep us
-
stagnant from moving. Wait that may distract us from our calling,
-
our purpose. Because when we wait upon the Lord, it
-
does not mean to wait and do nothing. It means
-
wait and rest in the Lord. It means wait and
-
have conversations in the Lord. When the Lord instructed the
-
people of Israel to keep the Sabbath, when they were
-
given the instruction to build the temple, it was very
-
clear that they had to order the sabbath, and in
-
fact it was so important that those that did not
-
order to honor the sabbath will put to death. Going
-
to read the Bible, it's real. The importance of rest
-
over here is that if you do not rest in
-
the Lord, you may be put to death, maybe not
-
the physical death, but the spiritual death. There's some of
-
us when we rest upon the Lord and we come
-
to church and we do not honor the Sabbath. We
-
do not rest on the Lord. All we do in
-
church is something else. It is no wonder that our
-
wig is not fulfilled because we did not spend the
-
time that we're supposed to spend the Lord doing what
-
we ought to be doing. And we face a spiritual
-
death that only the Lord can revive. And I pray
-
that if anyone is in that position today, I pray
-
that the Lord will restore you, will restore you of
-
that death that is in your life, because Jesus can
-
bring me the death back to life. Amen. Once date
-
doesn't have to stay. What's date doesn't have to stay.
-
But this isn't a waiting. The key thing here is
-
that are we casting our weights upon the Lord? Psalms
-
fifty five five y five two to two. It's a
-
very very good verse, very beautiful one. He says, cast
-
your burdens on the Lord, and he shall sustain you.
-
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. You know,
-
God may not take your burden away immediately. In fact,
-
God may not even take your burden away at all.
-
It may still be there. It may be a very
-
real burden. It may be a very real situation. But
-
what he promises us is that he was sustainless and
-
then he will sustain you. He will carry you through it.
-
The keyword here is surrendered. When you let go, he
-
takes over. But what you need to know and what
-
you need to do is that if you have even
-
know a thing or do about sustain battles and how
-
sustained battle works in the band, in the piano, not
-
not just in a digital panel, but in a physical
-
panel as well, as long as you keep your foot
-
down on the piano like what she has been doing
-
all this Well, have you heard the voice go away? No?
-
Can you lift up the battle? It's almost immediate a
-
plague in. That's what the sustain battle does. And that's
-
what he means. Actually, when God says that he will
-
sustain you, it means that the problem might still be there,
-
that cord might still be there, that pain on your
-
foot that is pressing down on the sustained battle might
-
still be there. But what He promise says to do
-
to all of us is to sustain you through that storm,
-
sustain you troue that trial in whatever situation that you
-
are in, Daniel, whatever the situation that you're in, God
-
was reminding me that He's going to sustain you. I'm
-
not gonna take you out of the storm. I'm gonna
-
let you go through it, but I'm gonna be there
-
with you, and I'm going to sustain you. And as
-
long as you keep your foot down on that pedal,
-
the court will never go away digitally that that's what
-
it represents, right, even if you play a physical pedal.
-
I actually did experience before because I was so cuteous.
-
How long would sustain? Better? Work actually went on for hours.
-
Can you imagine the note hitting the key the string
-
and as long as the sustain pedal is on, it
-
will it will dissipate everywhere. So and the only reason
-
why it dissipates is because of physics, like I'm talking about.
-
But God is not bounded by physics. Yeah, the digital
-
one is more a representation of what truly means. God
-
was sustain us, and I want you to be encouraged
-
by that. The only way that you can lose that
-
sustaining factor from God is when you remove your foot
-
off the gas, when you stop moving forwards, when you
-
stop waiting, when you stop thinking, when you take off
-
that weight that you're supposed to put on the sustainer.
-
You take it off and you put it on your shoulders,
-
and then the cart just goes away. It just go silent.
-
There's no longer a voice from the Lord. But when
-
you keep that burden on his shoulders, when you cust
-
it down to the sustainer, he sustains us. Amen. And finally,
-
when everything doesn't work, physical tons, emotional tons, Satan is
-
trying to destroy us. The point I have for you
-
the year is these tons exposes our true strength, and
-
our true strength is in the grace of God. Amen,
-
is in the grace of God. Your greatest ministry may
-
not come from your strength, but from your struggle. You know,
-
in extras we always tend to say this. Passus always
-
remind us this that our greatest messages come from a
-
place of struggles. Our greatest messages come from masses in
-
our life. But the mess in your life will be
-
transformed into a message that will reach the masses. Imen.
-
I pray that you will continue to remember this. Whenever
-
there's an infirmity upon your life, you can go back
-
to your see thank you very much, but you can
-
just stand there because I'm always done. I say the
-
same things now. But when there's a place in your
-
life where there's a lot of infirmities, I pray that
-
you'll be like Paul, that you would rather boast in
-
your infirmities rather than boasting on your own strength. You're boasting,
-
Oh Lord, Every trial aids an opportunity to bring glory
-
to your name. Every trial, every testing is an opportunity
-
to put my foot on the guests, to put my
-
burden on your shoulders and allow you to show and
-
show off. Because if I come out of this, and
-
if I got out of this mess there is no testimony,
-
then how can I bring glory to your name? Buttons
-
expose our true strength, because really it is in our weaknesses.
-
It is when we are strong, but we're not strong
-
in our own self. Where we're strong because of the
-
God who lives and nurse through his son Christ, Jesus sayment,
-
the next light I have for you is this next
-
light XTV. Second Corinthians twelve nine to tennis. Where I
-
got this from. My grace is sufficient for you. My
-
strength is made perfect and weaknesses. When you tried everything,
-
you prayed, you praise, you're rested, and yet the tone
-
is still there. God brings you the ultimate revelation. His
-
grace is enough. We often associate grace with salvation. Her
-
grace is more than a ticket to heaven. It's a
-
divine enablement here on earth. That grace that is given
-
to all of you. You're all being enabled through the
-
power of the Holy Spirit to be witnesses of the
-
love of Jesus Christ, of the love of the Savior,
-
of the love of God to the rest of this earth. Amen.
-
Grace is God's presence sustaining you, sustaining you in moments
-
of weakness. That is what grace is. Grace is not
-
taking you out of weaknesses. Grace is sustaining you. You know,
-
I often like to think to myself, like we always
-
say that this is the hardest, This is the hardest,
-
that is the hardest. This season is very bad. You
-
don't know, you know how it feels like, you know
-
what it means, You don't know what it means to struggle.
-
But yet you're still alive today. Why do you still
-
have breath in your life today? Why do you still
-
have breath in your lungs today? Is because of the
-
sustaining power of the grace of God that you are
-
still alive today. My mom has been in the hospital
-
for almost for if not the dem days in a row.
-
You're not going back. And yet she doesn't complain. She
-
wants to be there for my dad, caring for him,
-
because God's grace is the one that sustains him, that
-
kept him, kept her going, and the same grace will
-
be in all of us today. Amen, he puts four sixteen.
-
Can I even actually come up? We're very close. The
-
torn may remain, but grace grows. Amen. Grace helps you
-
walk through the fire without being burnt. He Brus four
-
sixteen also says this, let us therefore come boldly to
-
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and
-
find grace to help in time of need. That's what
-
helps us in our time of need. If we need help,
-
that's where we need to go. We need to approach
-
the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace
-
in time of need. Roman's eight twenty six says this. Likewise,
-
the spirit also helps us in our weaknesses. Your greatest
-
ministry may not come out of strength, but from your struggle.
-
I just got message from my mom. Wow, knew I'm
-
already home. I don't know how she got home. Wow, amazing.
-
I just shared with the early service. And as I
-
was sharing, I was also me and my mom. We
-
was talking about it and I was trying to encourage her.
-
I don't worry. Any bills will cover your cover because
-
he has been in the hospital for closer Manla. I
-
don't know how much it will cost, they were telling
-
me free by the end of the day. We don't know.
-
We don't know until we get the bill. You know
-
what kind of he didn't cause here and there to me?
-
Even five hundred engage a lota. Okay, okay, it's a
-
lot of money. We fifty didn't get as a lot
-
of money. But as I was sharing a k not.
-
As I was sharing, my mom sent me a message.
-
She said, toto, bill, let me get it out. Tot
-
the bill to the costs at nine forty eight, she
-
said to me, that was when we were closing this
-
Now to the costs ten thousand, three hundred and serey two.
-
I saw that almost fell alarne. I saw the next
-
line government subsidy ten one hundred and thirty fifty cents.
-
Pray Scott, yeah, pray Scott. Need to pay two hundred
-
and fifty one in it. Harle Lojah, Praise the Lord,
-
because God's grace world sustain you. He mercies, his mercies
-
and yours forever. Amen, Rejoice in the Lord, friends, rejoice
-
in your infirmities. As I woke up today, the Lord
-
dropped a verse of my heart, and I want to
-
encourage you this verse, and we're gonna sing reward if
-
we can do that. I didn't plan this with Jason,
-
but I woke up this morning and the first thing
-
that came to my mind was to not be afraid.
-
There was a line that was repeating in my heart
-
the whole time, do not be afraid. I didn't know
-
where the averse came from, so I had to google
-
and the girl and find out. And I found out
-
that the first came from Genesis fifteen to one, and
-
he says this, do not be afraid. I'm your shield.
-
You're exceedingly great reward. That's what God is to all
-
of us. He is how exceedingly great real are. Salvation
-
cannot be earned. It's a gift. But friends, honor to
-
remind you, very firmly but gently, that salvation can be rejected.
-
You cannot earn salvation. But you can reject salvation, and
-
that's how you can actually lose your salvation when you
-
reject Christ. So do not reject him, especially in time
-
of need. In your entire life. Do not reject God.
-
When God comes to you with that hand, do not
-
reject him. I want to encourage you to come to
-
the Father in time of need. I don't know what
-
will happen to my dad. I don't know how long
-
he has left on this earth. I really don't, because
-
it doesn't seem like his memory is getting any better. Well, friends, family,
-
dinners will never be the same again. For me. I
-
don't know how much you resonated that. Whether I will
-
be able to hear him call his son again, I
-
don't know. I can't even take him for a trip.
-
He's told my mom that while Daniel was so busy,
-
he wished that he could have went overseas, that it
-
was his dream, but because of his condition now he
-
wouldn't have that opportunity ever again. Or at least that's
-
what men thinks. All that is still real. It's not
-
just because he's home safely in the comfort of his home,
-
that doesn't mean that this goes away. Me and my
-
wife were still to tackle this. Of what happens next, well,
-
one thing is for certain, and one thing is real,
-
is that God is saying to me, and in proxy
-
to all of you, do not be afraid. Be afraid,
-
for I am your shield. There's no weapon from against
-
you shall prosper. The enemy can attack you with all
-
that he has. You know what, I had a revelation
-
the other day, just recently that when God permitted Satan
-
to test Joke, to go after Joke, it did not
-
say that God will not protect him. He did not
-
say that. And if God is our shield, I felt
-
that perhaps that's why Joe was able to sustain, because
-
despite it all he persevered. God reminded Abraham that he
-
is indeed our shield. Without that shield that comes from
-
the Lord, we won't be able to take what the
-
enemy has in store for us. But because of what
-
God has instat for all of us, that shield that
-
is right in front of us. I pray that you
-
will recognize this, that he is indeed or exceedingly great event.
-
I think it's in the Book of Mark, if I'm
-
not mistaken, that he says that what does it profit
-
mean if I gain the world? But lose my soul.
-
So friends, my encouragement to all of you today is this,
-
lean not on your own understanding in all your ways.
-
Acknowledge Him in all your ways. Cling on to the
-
autern and perfector of your faith in all your ways,
-
cling on to that road, that path, keep your foot
-
on the pedal, continue to move forward in the sustaining
-
grace of the Lord, and remove your food from evil.
-
That is my encouragement to all of you today. Friends.
