  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Today. I have a simple message for you.

  4. It's been very real to me for many years, and

  5. I think some of you probably really know that my

  6. favorite topic is faith, and I think it's good to

  7. just start the year remembering, remembering that Christianity is really

  8. about faith. And I don't know what religion you may

  9. have come from. Maybe you didn't start off in Christianity.

  10. Maybe you know you were worshiping the gods of your

  11. father's or grandparents. And you know, I come from a

  12. Catholic background. My wife comes from a Buddhist background. So

  13. we've had different experiences along the way, and I found

  14. the key difference between walking with Lord and working with

  15. any other is faith that really you can't quite put

  16. a finger or a structure to it. That's the that's

  17. the power and the problem at the same time, because

  18. we are people who love structure, and if you don't

  19. have structure, very hard to do your work, yeah, very

  20. hard to do churches. So sometimes we got homes leaders

  21. in this room that probably if there's no structure to

  22. the home notes you you know, you panic, right because

  23. he how we are creatures of structure. I think most religions,

  24. and I say it with respect, most religions actually have structure.

  25. And that's appealing to people. How many times a day

  26. we pray the how you kneel, how you get up,

  27. how you take communion.

  28. From the priest's hand.

  29. I remember when the COVID timer, they had to change

  30. some of these suches. I go to speak in different denominations,

  31. and so you go right to the front of that

  32. neil first, and then you get up, and then you can.

  33. Take it from the priece's hand.

  34. And once more time they even drink from the same cup.

  35. Then when it was COVID, they didn't do that anymore.

  36. But the structure, and people like structure when they like

  37. the one two three, A B c uh and so

  38. I mean I like facture, and I'm sure you like

  39. struction as well.

  40. Most of you in this room.

  41. Give me some plan, give me some program, give me

  42. some points, break it down for me.

  43. That's why a lot of times where we preacher, we

  44. preach points.

  45. Though, yeah, one two three, you know ABC, or this

  46. is a seven rs eights you know two b's and

  47. and and and so naturally we find faith hard to

  48. deal with because faith doesn't always make sense. Ah, it doesn't.

  49. It doesn't always have perfect timing. In fact, when you

  50. think it's not perfect, I mean that could be perfect.

  51. And when you think it's not perfect, you know or

  52. perfect you know everywhere around right is. God cannot be

  53. put in the box. He remains God and he loves

  54. to confound us. Why remind us that he's God and

  55. we are not? Okay, So faith is very important, and

  56. I think Christian sometimes you don't forget that because we

  57. somehow in our nature go back to structure, we go

  58. back to sense, We go back and if there's no

  59. sense that we call it nonsense. Right, And the world

  60. likes to call faith nonsense just because it doesn't make sense.

  61. But I think it's a good reminder at the bin

  62. of a year to remember that God's ways are not

  63. our ways, his thoughts are not our thoughts, and so

  64. we it's good to kind of realign back to God's

  65. way and his way I want to tell you again

  66. and again throughout this next so many minutes, is to

  67. say his way is faith. His way is walk by

  68. faith and not by side. And too many of us

  69. have been trained to walk by side, and that's why sometimes.

  70. We miss it.

  71. Sometimes we miss God's blessing, his breakthrough, his miracles, because

  72. most of us are fashioned that way from young till now.

  73. We're fashion that way in our workplace, in our study,

  74. in our universities. We are fashioned to see and believe.

  75. And yet Jesus says, blessed are those who do not see.

  76. And yet so.

  77. Is a good refresher. And I even have to refresh

  78. my own heart because there are days where I rather

  79. the familiar.

  80. Than faith. I rather you tell me go somewhere and

  81. do something.

  82. Climb the highest mountain, find the most unique flower, boil

  83. it in the soup, you know, drink it.

  84. And you will be well.

  85. I rather you tell me some day that, then to

  86. tell me look to Jesus, put your trust in him

  87. and wait upon him. You know, this is like what

  88. you know. And so that's why Christianity can be a problem.

  89. But that's also where the power lies. That our faith

  90. is not in facts alone. Our faith is in the Lord. Okay,

  91. so let me just put up the first slide.

  92. I thank you XTV. The first slight says faith creates.

  93. And the reason why I came up with this title

  94. was because I had the privilege of meeting different leaders

  95. at different times over the course.

  96. Of six months.

  97. The last six months, I want you to know that

  98. because I'm now feeling the call to go back into

  99. ministrying to Malaysia rather than just one church which I

  100. love so much, called ex Church. It will always be

  101. my church, will always be my home. But God has

  102. called me, and says Kenneth, Malaysia is in need.

  103. That there is a big.

  104. Big issue with the Malaysian church around the country, be

  105. it in West Malaysia or East Malaysia.

  106. And this one word succession, succession.

  107. Most of the pastors who are ready to pass on

  108. the baton don't have anybody pass on to And even

  109. if they think they have, they still got a lot

  110. of question marks.

  111. Is he the right one?

  112. Does he know what it takes? Because founders are of

  113. a different breed, and it's not that they're so special,

  114. it's just that they had to learn the hard way,

  115. and they had to learn things they didn't know.

  116. They had to yeah change and change very quickly.

  117. There was no money ready for them to spend, there

  118. was no building ready for them to meet. You know,

  119. it's from scratch, so you become something that you never

  120. knew you become. But because the Lord's grace is on us,

  121. founders are a little bit different.

  122. So excuse me.

  123. So when you pass it on, that next person may

  124. or may not have you think. Of course, when God chooses,

  125. he knows who is choosing. But sometimes in our minds

  126. we've got to you know in Chinese like more you know,

  127. like can and on you know and sure not And

  128. this is very real man human kind of fears and worries.

  129. Some churches are even worse in that they have multi

  130. million dollar buildings and then pass it on to one

  131. man who might not know how to handle the millions.

  132. Where would this building go to in the next ten years.

  133. They've got thirty vans outside in their kapa doing different ministries.

  134. So there's a lot of money, uh, And the founder

  135. would understand how to deal with the money because he

  136. had to start from scratch, and so he will appreciate

  137. that money more than passing it on to the next

  138. guy who maybe didn't work for it, you know.

  139. Ka, So we think like that.

  140. So throughout the country, I must tell you if you

  141. didn't know this, get it from me from Alostar Pastor

  142. Quillan A Treaty Baptist Church all the way to Joho Baru. Okay,

  143. we have got a pastor from Calvy, charismatic. Okay, he's

  144. probably also in his late sixties or early seventies. Then,

  145. of what Doctor Chu just went through, SIB just went

  146. through succession.

  147. He was a long time coming.

  148. You know, when I left SIB many years ago, twenty

  149. six years ago, I was the first youth pastor, and

  150. I remember Doctor Chu was very disappointed because he said,

  151. Pasta Kenneth, I was going to pass on the church

  152. to you, and I knew my calling was somewhere else.

  153. And Pasta Chow was very gracious. He said, I know

  154. I couldn't keep you because you are men for the nation.

  155. So this is you know SIB. Since then they were

  156. already thinking about succession, so he was in his fifties.

  157. Then now he's.

  158. Seventy eight, and us onto I think a guy called Isaac,

  159. who I don't know very well because he's not he

  160. was not there when I was there. And then uh,

  161. you know, Daniel Hole passed on the DMC passed on

  162. the Bayton to another guy, Chris, I think his name

  163. Pastor Chris. And Pastor Chris come Uh, now he's passing.

  164. He wanted to pass on to someone else the whole country.

  165. I think if I'm not just taking one of my

  166. friends in KK Passa Philipline is thinking about succession or

  167. so I've been thinking about it for years.

  168. Uh. Uh he talked to one of my friends. Uh.

  169. And you know in confidence is Kenneth.

  170. You know I was invited by Passa Philip to uh,

  171. you know, consider this.

  172. Uh.

  173. And then you know they prayed, prayed, prayed, plan, plan, plan,

  174. but he didn't work out. And so now he's looking

  175. at another person. Now what what am I trying to say?

  176. I'm trying to say that I know people who are

  177. having this as a challenge. So as I'm speaking to people, Oh,

  178. this church is not enough musician, how pasta, this church

  179. is not enough ashes, how pasta, this church is not enough?

  180. Ex kids all their kids program, volunteers. And even if

  181. they have not enough men, the case is the same throughout.

  182. The most of them who do kids ministry are women,

  183. but we need men also, we need male figures. Okay,

  184. all this just to say that there is a lack.

  185. Next light that says this, right, what is the lack?

  186. Where do I still lack. Now, if you remember, the

  187. rich young ruler came to Jesus and said, good Teacher,

  188. what good thing must I do to inherit life? And

  189. Jesus says, why do you call me good? Only God's good? Remember,

  190. but if you want to have life, go and do this,

  191. Go and fulfill the commandments.

  192. And then the ricial ruler said this.

  193. The Rician ruler look at Jesus said, all this I've

  194. done since I was a youth, what do I still lack?

  195. So you can, you know, even in your own lives,

  196. maybe identify with this.

  197. You've been doing this, and you've been doing that, and

  198. you've been doing what your friend told you, You've been

  199. doing what your boss told you, You've been doing what

  200. your father told you, and you've you've been doing doing, doing,

  201. And yet after doing all these things, there is still

  202. a sense of emptiness inside, the sense of like meaninglessness

  203. or a sense of unfulfillment, a sense of like I've done.

  204. It, I'm still doing it.

  205. It's not bad, it's a good thing, but I don't

  206. know why I still feel alike. And I'm telling you,

  207. throughout the country that is still a lake. And I'm

  208. talking even about the church not just nation. You know

  209. that there's a lot needs to be met, but just

  210. the church, just succession.

  211. There's a lack.

  212. I go to speak to a pastaquilin up in Alosance, Kenneth,

  213. I want to do youth, me history, but my youth

  214. stop at form five. Yeah, And he said all of them,

  215. all of them will leave Alosta to go and furdate

  216. their studies.

  217. Now, it's not bad, it's not wrong, but it happens.

  218. It's a natural thing because there's nothing much for them

  219. in a losta itself.

  220. So they're gone.

  221. They're gone either to Pinian or to care or to

  222. see our Paul. Okay, and they don't come back. Why

  223. because no jobs. He is now in his late sixties

  224. saying to me, I'm ready to retire, but I don't

  225. know how to retire.

  226. There is a lack.

  227. Now, Listener, when I go around, listen to all this, right,

  228. I tell you, somebody, I feel like it's such a

  229. daunting situation.

  230. Why because you don't have all the answers.

  231. If anyone sit down with you right now, don't talk,

  232. don't talk about just church and succession. Talk about your

  233. own life, okay, talk about oh my buster, my.

  234. Brother's like this. I don't know how to get him

  235. back to church.

  236. You know, he's so far away from the or maybe

  237. your your issue something else, or my sister or my

  238. mother or my father or my boss or my job

  239. or Okay, there can be all kinds of luck, all right,

  240. What is that one answer?

  241. If there is that one answer.

  242. That God could give us that can settle all problems.

  243. Ah, that is how it came about.

  244. I realize, ladies and gentlemen, brother sisters, that faith creates.

  245. That means that if you didn't have uh enough ex

  246. kiss teachers, if you would start to see with the

  247. eyes of faith, what would God have you do?

  248. And he will? I'm telling you right now. It can

  249. be maybe simple, but it will.

  250. Also be radical because God will not give you answers

  251. that you already have in your own flesh.

  252. He will usually, if not.

  253. Always, give you answers that is a little bit out there,

  254. can or not sure not, But I'm telling you right

  255. now I want to encourage all of you faith answers almost,

  256. if not all things. I want to tell you right

  257. now it is going to God, listening to God and

  258. saying Okay God. Even though this sounds nonsensical, if it

  259. is your way, I will do it. And that's why

  260. a lot of people miss it, because opportunities are usually

  261. disguised as problems, as obstacles. So people, oh, it's obstacle. No,

  262. you should start seeing No, it's an opportunity. And when

  263. you take it, and when you start walking out of

  264. that boat and start walking on water, which again is nonsense,

  265. then you will start seeing that walking on water is

  266. actually possible in God.

  267. In fact, all things are possible with God.

  268. And maybe your situation this afternoon is a water walking situation. Say,

  269. I don't think it can ever be done. You know,

  270. some of you. The more you learn, the more it's

  271. hard for you to leave by faith. Okay, and that's

  272. why people with doctors and all that, Daniel, I must

  273. shake your head like congraduately you are because you are

  274. very different, all right, you have you have a brain

  275. as a doctor, but the heart of a servant of God.

  276. And I'm glad, I'm glad we've got to lead.

  277. I'm glad we've got a leader in that. You know

  278. who goes like okay, hold on, hold on a minute,

  279. Hold on a minute. Yeah, I had to do all

  280. my PhD and those of you who know I'm doing

  281. my doctorate. Now you know, I know how difficult it is,

  282. doctor Daniel, And I think you had even more difficult

  283. because I know I'm not doing a traditional PhD.

  284. You did traditional one, which is which is tough.

  285. Mine is a pel q Help university where experience counts.

  286. So about fifty percent of my MAX come from my

  287. twenty five years or thirty years of experience as a

  288. youth worker. So I'm writing my TCS on youth work

  289. in Malaysia, and the huddle system will go in there

  290. as well.

  291. But but the thing is, it's tough. It's tough.

  292. And after a while, if you study too much, read

  293. too much, you become what you study. You become what

  294. you read. And certainly your language also change. Yeah, it

  295. has to change because you get paid more and they

  296. pay you for that language.

  297. Yeah.

  298. Telling you come up and you said, see before I say,

  299. I wrote and read twelve books, trouve books. I wrote

  300. twelve books, but all my books are has God. I

  301. sense the Lord said, the Lord said to me, and

  302. I obeyed. I opened the word and the word gave

  303. me conviction. All this word that sends conviction or that

  304. not accepted in the doctor. Right now, So I had

  305. to go through this, I say, I'm going to write

  306. about the hard system. How did you get it?

  307. All right? How did I want to throw this foot

  308. down the floor? How did you get it? Grum? No, grum?

  309. Because is it, Poster Kenners, you're reading twelve books? This

  310. should be simple, Team Chin, what Chin sore? Literature Review

  311. For those of you who don't know Literature Review.

  312. Chapter two.

  313. Chapter two is liter I had to read other people's work,

  314. I said, why I had to read other people's work.

  315. They haven't done addle. No, you read so that you can, okay,

  316. so you can understand, so you can find the gaps

  317. all this guy, Okay, Then I now have to find.

  318. The theoretical framework. What do it? What kind of things

  319. is that theoretical framework?

  320. No? Where where did you get the theory to write

  321. your I said, I.

  322. Didn't get anywhere.

  323. I got it from the Lord truth by it. Then

  324. the professor, the professor knows. This is the professors. I

  325. don't want to tell you that you're wrong. As long

  326. as you can justify, you can write a fine. We

  327. cannot we cannot give you no marks for saying that

  328. the Bible is real? Okay, but you must prove it.

  329. You must, you know, write it. So I had to

  330. find what, I tell you what I've got this you

  331. know this, this guy's name by bronfre and Brenner. Okay,

  332. actually actually Bronford Brenner has this theory, and and Jack

  333. Mazio has that theory, and green Leave has that. I

  334. got four theories, you know, four theories. The last one

  335. green Leaf one, Robert green Leave is the theory of

  336. server leadership. Okay, all these are in the world. And

  337. then finally I said that, uh, but my theory that

  338. I want to put forward is the Bible. Okay, theoretical framework. Right,

  339. And there I said that, I said that, I said,

  340. the other the other the other four, the other four,

  341. I know. I had to write down all their theories,

  342. the other four that's not clash with the Bible, because

  343. the Bible also believes in Cervi leadership. The Bible also

  344. believed Jack jack manzero believes in learning by imitating. I said,

  345. imitate me as an imitate Christ found in the Bible

  346. as well, you know what.

  347. I'm trying to say.

  348. So I had to write that, presented to my supervisor,

  349. I said, oh, this is very good.

  350. Hella. No, yeah, praise God. So now I have to.

  351. Remember that God told me you do my doctorate because

  352. he said that many more people in this line, in

  353. this world, in this industry of academia that does not

  354. know Jesus.

  355. So you will present, you will speak to them.

  356. Uh, and you will do your vivor and what all

  357. that kind of stuff, and you will stand for me

  358. and glories A yeah, yeah, I.

  359. Used to do so.

  360. So basically it's it's uh, it's all this that that

  361. we are. We we have to sound sometimes, so the

  362. more we study, the more we have to sound like

  363. the world. But we don't have to write Daniel. We

  364. don't have to doctor. We don't have to write doctor.

  365. I can't have to remember the guys and doctors as well,

  366. you know, so yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, you know.

  367. So PhD don't don't become permanent in the damage.

  368. Uh uh uh. And just just just you know how

  369. we can we can develop the mind and yet keep

  370. our heart pill because God doesn't really look at the mind.

  371. He looks at the heart. That's what the Bible says

  372. very clearly. He looks at our hearts. And so how

  373. to keep the heart having faith you know, pumping with

  374. the blood of faith.

  375. Yeah.

  376. Uh so you might have a d R in front

  377. of your name, and you might I'd be really smartest guy.

  378. I mean Sam, what was his name, King Solomon was

  379. the smartest guy.

  380. But still feel in the.

  381. End, So no, it's not just about being smart, right,

  382. It's about keeping your heart always fresh and on fire

  383. and pumping with faith. Because faith, ladies and gentlemen, brothers

  384. and scissors, it does create one that's great. I've seen

  385. bang account zero, but because of faith it grows. I've

  386. seen a church with only three people become three thousand.

  387. I've seen a church that's very small up in the

  388. third floor of Subanjaya become now you know, fifty five

  389. churches in eleven nations. Faith creates, It creates. You don't

  390. have I challenge you and encourage you. Live then by faith.

  391. There is nothing in this world that guarantees growth and

  392. creation of growth more than faith. Even when you invest

  393. your money in the stop market that there's no guarantee.

  394. One I'm guaranteeing right now. Living by faith for thirty

  395. years without a salary, I can tell you what it grows.

  396. Something you put a seed in the ground, it becomes

  397. a tree. You plan to see, you get a tree,

  398. plant a tree, you get a forest. I'm telling you,

  399. faith just continues to grow. I see Albert here. Once

  400. upon a time, no football academy, then got football academy.

  401. One point in time, no football team now got football team,

  402. you know, filled with a really nice Malay guys, you know,

  403. ninety percent of them right, giving them a future. Right now,

  404. we've taken the team into Division two. Once upon a

  405. time cours the law by, But with faith, that's how

  406. things happen. Everybody, Okay, with this, that's how things happen.

  407. Uh And and therefore there is no lack in your life.

  408. Now. I want to tell you and encourage you.

  409. I came to encourage you, actually, to encourage you, not

  410. to make you feel down or law or nothing. I

  411. came to say to you that you already have within

  412. you the gift from God to make things happen this year,

  413. not just wait for things to happen, but make it happen.

  414. Everybody, Okay, So what do I still like?

  415. Only you can answer the question this afternoon, because every

  416. lack here is different from your neighbor. Let's look at

  417. the next slide. The next line says, for whatever is

  418. born of God overcomes the world. I love this verse

  419. so much because the Bible, like you, says, our faith

  420. is the one that overcomes the world, everything and anything

  421. you face in life, in this world, in this life,

  422. your faith not only will overcome, has overcome, has overcome.

  423. You got a marriage problems. I encourage you to go

  424. by faith. What does you see? Let's let's get it

  425. right there now, right from the starter. How does faith come?

  426. Faith comes to my hearing and hearing by the word

  427. of God Romans ten seventeen. So that's how faith comes.

  428. So the issue is what are you hearing? We've been

  429. in and out of our world the last one week.

  430. What are you hearing? And the Bible encourages us to

  431. hear the word, hear what God has to say about this.

  432. So why those marriages that are in trouble can still

  433. be healed because if they go by the way of God,

  434. they will hear him say forgive.

  435. They will hear him say forgive no matter what. And

  436. when you can.

  437. Get yourself to a place whereby God gives you the

  438. strength and you say, God, I can't forgive, I just

  439. really can't.

  440. You don't understand how much they hurt me.

  441. And then Jesus reminds you by his word, they hurt

  442. me too. They hurt me too. And I said, forgive

  443. their father, for they know not what they do. Because

  444. if they knew what they do, they probably won't hurt you.

  445. But it's painful. It's very painful. I mean, I've gone

  446. through so many times. My own father I had to

  447. forgive because you know, he neglected as my own mother,

  448. who divorced my father when I was one year old.

  449. I had no mother therefore, so I had to have

  450. to learn to keep on because there's no it's an option,

  451. they say, right, or rather they say it's a choice,

  452. but not an option. What is what is God trying

  453. to say to you? So marriage, your work? It could

  454. be your work. And then you say, oh, you know,

  455. because my boss promised me a promotion and didn't give

  456. it to me. Now I'm not gonna work as well

  457. as I did six months ago. And then you open

  458. the word and he says spirit of excellence. Daniel had

  459. a spirit of excellence, right, and then so so basically,

  460. at the end of the day, I want to tell you,

  461. whether it be your sons, your daughters, your marriage, your boss,

  462. your anything, your everything, even someone who's on the sick bit.

  463. You know, I've seen people on the sick bed dying,

  464. but dying with faith as they smile and say, whether

  465. I live or die, it's for the Lord. And I

  466. visited people on the death bed who had attitude change

  467. and they chose to have and added, your faith, actually

  468. go home to be with the Lord with a smile

  469. on your face. My own father before he died. The

  470. night before he died, I was with him. I was

  471. traveling around the country and I finally came back. The

  472. Lord told me, Kenneth, I know you're very tired. Don't

  473. go to sleep yet because your dad that your dad

  474. would need some time with you. So I went downstairs

  475. and we were watching you know what, I can't remember

  476. so clearly television he was watching. He was he had

  477. stroke so he couldn't speak. All my father could do

  478. is oh oh, And I knew what he was talking about.

  479. Al Gore was competing with Bush, all right, And and

  480. that was the final night before and it was you know,

  481. I think I'll go only lost by I know a

  482. few votes, and uh, And I was talking to my dad,

  483. so I was I was dead tired. My eyes was

  484. closing while I was with him, But God said to me.

  485. God said to me, stay, just have this conversation with

  486. your dad. And the beautiful thing is I got to

  487. see him get up from the chair as he was

  488. about to go to his bed. As he's walking out,

  489. I thought the bit is actually at the back, but

  490. he's walking out to the front because he saw something

  491. in the sky. So I worked with my dad. I

  492. said that, okay, you want me to take you back

  493. to a beauty ful He managed that word, so I

  494. got like it was the normal sky to me, no stars,

  495. but he saw something. And I have come to believe

  496. after saying goodbye to many people who have died, there

  497. is that at least about twenty thirty percent of people

  498. who have gone home to be with a or they

  499. see angels coming to take them home. Someone someone said,

  500. I see charoit, So I really believe. My wife and

  501. I always say, oh, the Charot is coming. And sometimes

  502. the charity of God picks people up right now. So

  503. you find us, some friends and some family members.

  504. They all go.

  505. Around the same time because when the Charot comes, he

  506. takes he picks up.

  507. So I believe in the heavenly. I believe in angels.

  508. I believe that when you can see things God's way,

  509. even at your last moment, you get to see heaven.

  510. And so my dad I didn't know I was very

  511. beautiful man. So I said, okay, but by deaths why

  512. his eyes were so big? I was like, it's almost

  513. I saw an angel. So I took him to I

  514. took him to bed, and next morning, five o'clock in

  515. the morning, he was God, Uh, why am I trying

  516. to say this?

  517. Do you? I even plague to say this to you?

  518. Know?

  519. But this is important that.

  520. Even even on your death bit, you can choose to

  521. live by faith. You can choose to see things God's way,

  522. and I'm telling you you are going to be rewarded

  523. for it. The eyes who open for you angels will

  524. come down to greet you and to welcome you hope.

  525. Or will you go.

  526. Greeting your teeth and saying I trusted this God for

  527. so many and he caused me to have cancers?

  528. You know what I say?

  529. You can go back greeting your teeth or smiling and

  530. saying Lord, like, how remember job God gave, God takes

  531. away blessed me The name of the you see faith

  532. and just natural facts. It's two different things. I you

  533. also with me. I'm telling you this not just because

  534. I think that you know any want of us are

  535. going to go home sooner, but but one day we will.

  536. And sometimes terrible things happen, even to Christians. But the

  537. way forward in all the things that we do to

  538. overcome this world is faith.

  539. All right, let's move on. We have faith. It's impossible

  540. to please God. You know this. It doesn't say difficult,

  541. it says impossible.

  542. Now, if you believe that your life, in my life,

  543. is lived to please God as our ultimate goal. We

  544. want to put a smile on Father God's face, then

  545. this is a scripture.

  546. You need to remember. There is a scripture.

  547. There's nothing else, not even wishful thinking. It doesn't say

  548. there and wishful thinking. Without wishful thinking, is it posit? No,

  549. it doesn't say oh, without a good attitude, without a

  550. PhD is nothing that.

  551. It just says without faith, it is impossible.

  552. And if you're honest, I wonder how many of us

  553. in the whole week have actually failed to please God

  554. because we chose the way of sight more than the

  555. way of faith. Maybe it's happened for the past month,

  556. and I can't blame you because real things are happened

  557. in your life. You do have a father in hospital.

  558. You do have someone in your family that's talking about divorce.

  559. You do have a spouse that maybe didn't understand you

  560. over Christmas and you know, didn't didn't cook your favorite

  561. meal and you thought she doesn't love you. You do

  562. have real problems. Are okay, you do have a doctor.

  563. But you do have a cat that doesn't doesn't mail you.

  564. You you you, you do. You do have problems. You

  565. do have a neighbor that's singing at three o'clock in

  566. the morning, you know, like pava roti and all you

  567. want to do is take one roathi and throw it

  568. if But you know you, you have real issues, and

  569. you didn't know that you would come on the trave

  570. of January to hear a reminder that we are to

  571. walk by h and not by but we are sight creatures.

  572. We are, And the Lord says, that's not my way.

  573. I give you a better way, and this way you

  574. will be able to overcome all things.

  575. Okay, so we want to please God. Let's move on.

  576. Let's move on now.

  577. This is very important this is what doctor Daniel shared earlier,

  578. even probably.

  579. Without knowing my my my my scriptures. I don't know.

  580. Maybe Daniel, you had a peak of my scriptures. By

  581. I'm guessing you didn't. I'm guessing you just flowed with

  582. the Holy Spirit and gave us a different version. What

  583. was your version is not and IV. Okay, this is

  584. n k JV all right, And this is what it

  585. says now. Faith is a substance of things hoped for,

  586. the evidence.

  587. Of things not seen. Okay.

  588. I want to take this scripture mainly and draw towards

  589. the finishing line.

  590. Okay.

  591. And the rest I will talk to you about is

  592. just stories, because I want to encourage you with stories,

  593. both biblical and personal stories.

  594. Are you ready?

  595. So you want to have faith? You know it's God's way.

  596. You know it's the only thing, only thing that can

  597. please God. You know, is the very thing that you

  598. have been given by God to overcome whatever it is.

  599. In this world. You all to understand this. I hope

  600. you're catching it. Okay.

  601. You have a choice whether you will walk by faith

  602. or by side by side. You already know what the

  603. end result is, so I'm gonna ask you to choose

  604. faith again and again and again. It's built churches, it's

  605. filled rooms, it's raised up workers, you know, pray to

  606. the Lord of the harvest to raise up workers, to

  607. send out laborers.

  608. Yeah, it's from out of the blue, and no.

  609. It comes because faith creates. Faith creates just out of

  610. the blue. And I don't want to call it magic,

  611. but really it's close to that.

  612. It's better than that.

  613. It's like, oh wow, you know amazing how God does it.

  614. So let's read this and let me go through it.

  615. Okay.

  616. Faith is a substance of things hope. For now, let

  617. me break it down for you. When you exercise faith,

  618. you must have hope because faith is a substance of

  619. things hopeful. Now, the devil doesn't want you to live

  620. or walk by faith because he knows how powerful it is.

  621. He knows when one of you, brother or sister in

  622. this room choose to live by faith and work by faith,

  623. he knows that you will get it. He knows that

  624. you will be smiling to heaven. He knows that you

  625. know miracles, what was happening in your life. He knows

  626. that no money will have money. He knows that no

  627. children will have children. He knows that those spouse will

  628. have spouse. He knows that faith creates. He knows that

  629. you've seen it so many times. He's seen that the

  630. Red Sea party.

  631. He's seen it how in the world faith, He's seen

  632. it over and over again.

  633. So the way to do it is to stop God's

  634. people living by faith. And to be able to stop

  635. Gods we were living by faith. He has to remove

  636. your hope. And hope is usually removed by discouragement. Yeah,

  637. by disappointment. I ah, why you don't have girlfriend? Now?

  638. I had four ready before? All fail me when I

  639. tell you are these women you know? Cannot be?

  640. Okay? Why you do that? Boyfriend or boyfriend? You know?

  641. And then you go like because of the hurts and

  642. the pain you've been through. The hope it can be,

  643. it can be whatever. It can be your your your family,

  644. your parents.

  645. Your job.

  646. It can be even leadership in church. Would you like

  647. to be a leader in twenty twenty five? You can

  648. see your your your amazing talent or leader.

  649. Moo our.

  650. These moke ourhana don't player. Where does it come from?

  651. Where does the fear come from? It comes from past experiences.

  652. People who join your church from other places have been disappointed.

  653. You see, they take sometimes years before they ever break

  654. in because there's a lot of past, a lot of

  655. common hopelessness.

  656. And if the enemy can rob away your hope, he has.

  657. Robbed away your faith because there is hope within the

  658. definition of faith. And I think a lot of you

  659. in this room I understand what I'm saying because you've

  660. been there where hope almost was lost, if not lost.

  661. And the Lord is saying to.

  662. You, do not lose hope, Do not lose Christ in you,

  663. the hope of glory, faith, hope, love, and the greatest

  664. of these is love.

  665. But there's hope in God's plan. There's always hope. Amen.

  666. What does the other scripture says? Does is there hope there?

  667. He says, look at to Jesus, the author and finish

  668. of your faith, who for the joy that was set.

  669. Before him and doure the cross.

  670. Okay, basically even for the Lord to endure the cross,

  671. because he had a hope that one day he will

  672. see all your faces because of what He's done.

  673. Are you all see with me?

  674. Hope? What what do we do every time we celebrate Christmas?

  675. Hope?

  676. And when hope is taken away? I have a statement

  677. I've used for years for a ya. Without a dream,

  678. there's no hope, and without hope, there's no life. Show

  679. me a man who has a dream. I'll show you

  680. a man who has hope. That's why dreams get broken.

  681. The enemy loves to break dreams because if you can

  682. break dream, it can break hope. If you can break hope,

  683. you'll break your life. It's as simple as that. A

  684. man who has no hope is a man who's stopped living. Okay,

  685. So you must, no matter what, just hold on to

  686. that hope, especially if it's from the Lord, especially from

  687. the word of God.

  688. Hold on to the.

  689. Promise of promises of God, for there yes, and they

  690. are amen. But it is the substance of things hopeful.

  691. So I want to tell you, I want to give

  692. you a quick definition of substance. Substance to me means weight.

  693. Anything that is nothing has no.

  694. Weight to it.

  695. I would ask you a question, what weight are you

  696. putting behind your hope?

  697. What weight are you putting behind your hope?

  698. Now, another place where they use the word weight is

  699. when you give glory to God. The word glory in

  700. the Hebrew is kabad ka'bad just means weight. Another word

  701. is honor, honor kabad okay. So that's why when you

  702. go to India, and I've gone to India a few times,

  703. they put weight on you. No, you know what I'm

  704. saying when you come off the Maybe some of you

  705. may not have seen it.

  706. I'm sure you've seen it somewhere.

  707. I came off the airport and they put three garlands

  708. on me by the time I walked to the cows

  709. walking on this right, What are you doing?

  710. Wait?

  711. If you honor your parents are and say God bless you,

  712. that's not Wait. That's why when you put money into

  713. your parents' hands are why do Chinese, especially Chinese people

  714. are like to take people for eat, for maccan for

  715. food at all occasions because by by the time you

  716. finish that Meala, everybody walks out heavier.

  717. Are you with me?

  718. You can never honor anybody or without putting weight into

  719. their lives, even to the cheapest kind. The cheapest kind.

  720. Let me to ask tell you it's not bad. It's

  721. not bad, he says, the cheapest because it's the easiest kind.

  722. A weight of encouragement. Daniel, you're probably one of the

  723. most good looking doctors I've ever seen, you know, then

  724. he goes out, he goes out, he's a bit waity,

  725. you know, like whoa.

  726. There's way that's way like do who know why?

  727. I feel like right? But I also can happen there

  728. anywhere around. You're the ugliest person. Also, weighty words are

  729. also very weighty. It's cheap, live, it's cheap. It's either

  730. a cheap jab or a cheap or a quick encouragement boost.

  731. You're great, fantastic, your worship is sound, was awesome or

  732. I love it. The way you say okay, people go

  733. away feeling good. Amen, you carry something of a weight.

  734. What weight are you putting behind your A lot of

  735. Christians like to hope, but don't put weight or substance

  736. behind it.

  737. Many years ago, a speaker.

  738. From America said, I want to show you what substance is.

  739. He took out his wallet and I don't know why

  740. he took up It was US dollar and I'll take

  741. out a fifty ring it now, and he says, I

  742. want to let you know. This is very light in paper,

  743. but it's very weighty in value. He said, this is substance.

  744. Do you put your substance behind your hope? Because a

  745. lot of people like to hope without substance. This piece

  746. of note, ladies and gentlemen, although it's very light in

  747. my hands, it's a couple of.

  748. Hours of work, a couple of hours of my life.

  749. It's my sweat, it's my need to wake up early

  750. in the morning to go to work. I went to

  751. the jam for this. This is actually very weighty.

  752. What substance do we put behind our hope because there's

  753. a lot of wishful thinking but very little weight behind it.

  754. Can you get me?

  755. This is very important for you to understand because there

  756. must be substance that must be It must be weighty,

  757. it must be of value.

  758. Let's move on. It is also the evidence of things

  759. not seen.

  760. Okay, for those of you who thought that brought out

  761. a fifty, I'm talking about money.

  762. I know I'm not.

  763. I'm not talking about money, because it can be time,

  764. can be talent, it can be you signing up to

  765. serve the lot.

  766. Give me there. You gotta put some weight, okay. But

  767. the evidence one.

  768. I like the evidence one because the Lord showed me this,

  769. you know, he says, Kenneth, this is how it works.

  770. The last two words not seen is what we expect

  771. of God. So we haven't seen it yet. We want

  772. to see it. We want to see a husband from God.

  773. We want to see a wife from God. We want

  774. to see kids from God. We want to see money.

  775. We want to see a new house. We want to

  776. see promotion. We want to see bonus. God hasn't given it,

  777. given it. This is how it works. Can I can

  778. I show you how it works? Having lived by faith

  779. for thirty years now, it was like this. God wants

  780. to see evidence in your life before you will ever

  781. see evidence in his life.

  782. That's how it works. You go to a.

  783. Court room and if the judge was God, you want

  784. a really good judgment from the judge. At the end,

  785. you haven't seen the judgment yet, but before the judgment

  786. is given, the judge has to see.

  787. Evidence from you first.

  788. You do not get the sentence or the or the

  789. or the judgment from the judge.

  790. Only before before you show your evidence.

  791. Are you with me, very vag if you if you

  792. understand this, friends, I'll tell you what You're going to

  793. really take your Christian life to another level.

  794. Let this be the year.

  795. Okay, So now let me uh try to finish this

  796. whole message with some stories. Are you ready let's let's

  797. do it. So let's let's look at some that's already

  798. on the on the list. Here water turned to wine.

  799. What did the mother say? The mother of Jesus, She said,

  800. they have right out of wine.

  801. Jesus says, what have I to do with you?

  802. Woman?

  803. You know, I mean it looks like very it's very rude.

  804. Actually in the Greek and Jewish Greek words and Jewish culture,

  805. if you read it properly, it was actually a very

  806. respectful way. He said it to his mom, his earthly mom.

  807. And after he said it to her, she said, the

  808. Nike verse. Whatever he tells you, just do it right.

  809. And so he walks out. This is Jesus who loves

  810. you and he loves me. He will go to any

  811. wedding if you invite him. Actually he's too busy for weddings.

  812. I think the Lord is too busy for weddings. But

  813. he still go no, because he doesn't love the wedding.

  814. He loves you.

  815. So he comes to the wedding and he said no,

  816. why no, for it's all turning away the whole night. Okay, drinking,

  817. drinking and drinking, okay, bad decision, wrong budgeting, didn't know

  818. so many people were drinking.

  819. Out right now.

  820. So Jesus actually, after he told his mother, yeah, it's

  821. not my time, he actually still did something for the couple.

  822. Hallelujah. Do you know this?

  823. This? This is the cart God will served that so good?

  824. No his time, so still have you know? So he

  825. walks out, he sees six empty jars. Now he says

  826. to the servants, just watch me. I will wave my

  827. hand and whine will come spouting out. No, he didn't

  828. do that, you know, he didn't do that. He says,

  829. you go ahead and feel those water pots. Feel that feel.

  830. So the servants, not knowing who he is, but the mother,

  831. is it right? Whatever times you do, do it. So

  832. they didn't have obedience, which many of us in this

  833. room need to remember that many times we will not

  834. understand one.

  835. So what they did was they feel the water pots

  836. to the half.

  837. No they didn't they feel the water pots do the brim,

  838. because that's the word feeling up to the top. So

  839. our job is just to feel it. According to now,

  840. once he reached see this is this is the thing

  841. about faith. I've seen it again and again because because

  842. the scripture doesn't say that Jesus waved his hand over

  843. the six water pots and said some magic words. I

  844. didn't hear him saying Jesus name, no, because you know

  845. why it's his name.

  846. So he didn't have to say that. You know what.

  847. He just imagine? You mean, you got to use the

  848. imagination by blah. He said, fill up to the top.

  849. And as soon as so the water did not turn

  850. to wine at half the pot, he did not. He

  851. did not even turn the wine at nineteen nine percent.

  852. But once the water reached the top, touched the brim

  853. and the rim, according to the word of God, it

  854. turned into wine. He didn't come did lay hands? You

  855. do according to what he says, watch, but you had

  856. to do it first. The five lobes and two fish.

  857. A boy had to give up his five lowes and

  858. two fish before.

  859. The five thousand.

  860. Do you know the evidence was a five thousand got fed.

  861. But that was the thing that we were saying. It

  862. was not seen. It is the evidence of things not seen,

  863. because although we can't see him.

  864. He can see us.

  865. And when he sees us, does he see the evidence

  866. that we believe he will do it. He's very very

  867. important people, because I can go one scripture after the

  868. other scripture. You will realize that God wants to see

  869. evidence in our lives first, but many Christians go around

  870. wanting you see him move first?

  871. He done what that way? He works by faith?

  872. Because how many of you know a God very easy

  873. can answer your prayer, your need like that snap of

  874. a finger.

  875. Oh, I really want a girlfriend? First? Next to you?

  876. Who are you? I'm your girlfriend? Said by God? What's

  877. your name? Genie? You know he can't He can't answer

  878. what you want?

  879. Boyfriend? Wow? Who expect you know? Why is he not?

  880. I don't know? But they know? Who are you?

  881. I'm yours at your command? I want three children boom

  882. or three triplets. Don't even have to give bird come out,

  883. stay away or the girls say halloday, Amen, praise God.

  884. Don't need any epidurial just boom tree. I want a

  885. house Boom. I want a car Ferrari, Oh Lord, I

  886. got five children. I forgot Okay, I give you a

  887. ferrari MPV Okay, Halleljah, Praise God. Friend, look like Faradi behind,

  888. look like MPV people boomer? Do you know that God

  889. can answer that seriously? But then you don't need faith?

  890. The boy here my five and two faith, my Momay,

  891. gave me one for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You know

  892. you think, body, it's not just probably on this one meal.

  893. No five loaves fish just for lunch. It's worth his

  894. lunch and dinner.

  895. Here you go.

  896. Jesus was saying, oh, great, that's all I need. Give

  897. something to God to work with. He's he's waiting to

  898. make something right. He's just want something. Give me, give

  899. me a give me something to work with. I don't

  900. have much. Lord, only five can no problem? Come bring

  901. five thousand, and don't forget that he's five thousand men.

  902. The Bible says, means that also fed women, also fed children,

  903. could have been ten thousands.

  904. Next one widow, Elijah, Oh I love this one.

  905. No, you must please. What we missed this imagination, okay

  906. is famine. The widow is about to die. She's there

  907. picking up sticks. Please imagine with me. Let's let's let's

  908. let's tell.

  909. He said, the.

  910. Stories today, okay, stories of fake picking up sticks. And

  911. then comes Elijah. Women, Oh, she recognized it's a prophet.

  912. Blow my tear still alive. He said, what you're doing?

  913. I've picked up sticks a prophet because I'm going to

  914. bake with my last bit of flower and oil.

  915. And then you know what she said, after I beg

  916. my son will and I will eat, and we will die.

  917. I think of Chinese there we will die. And then

  918. you know what.

  919. The prophet, the most sensitive profit you can find, the

  920. most compassionate prophet you can find. This is a loving prophet.

  921. This is a good prophet who cares about people and

  922. cares about his sheep. He says to her, go and

  923. do as you say, but give me a little first.

  924. He didn't just say give me a little lie. He

  925. said give me a little first. However, you know that

  926. God is always first, always when always, I think if

  927. she didn't take it properly, actually have gone back, turned

  928. on her computer, you know, gone to her Facebook and said,

  929. I've met today one of the worst prophets that ever

  930. I've ever met. I told Hi, I'm gonna tie, And

  931. he said, give me some first. You so big deal

  932. you're going to ask from heaven?

  933. Lie? No, right, I must make I might school for

  934. you some more. I'm gonna die. I might school for

  935. you first. He is it right? She did it. She

  936. did it because she had evidence of things not seen.

  937. You know the story.

  938. You know, so she's scooping her last flower. She's scooping

  939. her last oil. And then she goes back. The next

  940. morning she's cood be her last flo. She's could be

  941. a last all. The next morning she could be a

  942. last flow. Never finish one, because the prophe said, the

  943. bin of fly and the job of oil will never

  944. run dry. She hasn't seen it, but he has seen

  945. her evidence. Next one, we don't, Elijah borrowed theirselves or

  946. decanted to. Even better, she said, the creditors are coming

  947. to take my sons. And what does Elia say? Because

  948. you know, if you are a man and woman of

  949. godd and you know that faith is the only way

  950. that you can can save you, you will always choose

  951. to say things the faith way the other way.

  952. Huh, the creditors are coming up, crazy, What are you

  953. doing here?

  954. Run man for your life, Gila. I got friends, I

  955. got friends, I know someone in the police, and I'll

  956. call it. We will do that today, he says. Out

  957. of the bluer, he says, what do you have left

  958. that you can sell? I don't have anything.

  959. I got one small job oil. Okay, go borrow vessels

  960. as many empty vessels as you can. What uh? Are

  961. you okay, elishah, I'm telling you credit coming to think

  962. my sons?

  963. You are? You want me to go and borrow some

  964. more and do what you're thinking? You want me take

  965. the empty way up the head of the creditor.

  966. No, no, no, no, you just going now again.

  967. She couldn't see her, but he could see. I'm asking

  968. you today before we close her. What can God see

  969. when he sees you?

  970. So she goes.

  971. She asks a sench for help. Please go and borrow

  972. from Antie. Okay, borrow from Auntie money, I'm there, borrow

  973. from Auntie.

  974. Are king there? Okay? Auntie?

  975. Auntie you got empty but those are empty bottles? Uh God,

  976. maybe I don't know how many of you know you

  977. got empty waters at home. We don't know until we know.

  978. I know, we don't know until we know. Sometimes we

  979. even have to empty the water then give you no

  980. cause supper thing at the neighbors. Son came up, Auntie,

  981. empty bottle and d I think my turn on ten

  982. doors in the embarrassing and we're still love.

  983. When he said, what do you want the empty waterfo

  984. young man, I don't know. My mummy asked for you.

  985. You gotta ask your Mama want you for said.

  986. I also don't know the prophet as and so they

  987. stopped probably after ten twenty houses, I don't know.

  988. And then they got at the waters and now they

  989. start feeling right.

  990. And by the way, the oil only stopped when the

  991. vessels stop. And I want to encourage all of you

  992. in this rumor. If you want the oil to continue

  993. pouring into one the tea, make sure the vessels don't

  994. stop in this place. The vessels or be available vessels

  995. for the Lord, and you will always.

  996. See the oil keep flowing. Everybody. Okay, very important, but

  997. do first go get the bottles.

  998. Okay, Abraham, Isaac, this one already give him a son,

  999. promise son, and still want the sun back. I want

1000. your son, so Abraham, I don't know. I'll tell you seriously.

1001. That's why it's called the Father of faith, because it.

1002. Makes no sense. Why wait the so long?

1003. You promise this one promised from God? I got it

1004. from God. Now God wants it back.

1005. How do I not know?

1006. It's a satan? No, he knows what's voice. How many

1007. of us, seriously, how many of us in his room

  1008. can get there?

1009. God? You give me this you want? God?

1010. You give me this promotion? God, you get how many

1011. of first can I tick come to say? Lord, you

1012. gave you want it back? It's yours.

  1013. It's not easy. It's not easy.

1014. It's not easy because most of the time our eyes

1015. are already very much focused on the promotion already, so

1016. it's hard to let go. If we can just keep

1017. our eyes on the Lord that gave the promotion, and

1018. easy to take and easy to give because.

1019. Your eyes are ups so you get you don't even

1020. know what you get. No, was this in my hand?

1021. I don't know a million dollars? Okay? Great, someone wants

  1022. to back.

1023. Okay, because your eyes, your eyes are on the Lord

1024. and you're not so caught up with the things that

1025. you have or don't have.

1026. But once you start to.

1027. Get your eyes off the Lord and going like whoa,

1028. I want you back right, because it's just too precious now.

1029. So Abraham's eyes are on the Lord. You gave me Isaac.

1030. You want Isaac back. So I love that.

1031. But listen, a lot of people think that the biggest

1032. act of faith is Abraham putting his son on the altar.

1033. I tell you what real faith is when I read

1034. the scripture in Genesis tree two, where we learn worship.

1035. You know that worships verse five, right, you know what

1036. he said. The servant says, where are you going? Abraham

1037. said this I want to get. I want you to

  1038. get this.

1039. This is where the faith really is. Abraham, who knew

  1040. that God had.

1041. Asked him for Isaac, said to his servants, me and

1042. the lad go yonder to worship. That's where the first

1043. mention of the word worship. And then he says, and

1044. we will come back to you. He knew that he

1045. idiated sacrifice his son. Why did he say we will

1046. come back to you? Because he knew, and he knew,

1047. and he knew that even if he killed his son,

1048. God can resurrect him. He knew, and he knew, and

1049. he knew that he will not come back emptyhended. He knew,

1050. and he knew, and he knew. God's promises are yes

1051. and amen. He knew and he knew and he knew

1052. that no matter what happens on that mount and of worship,

1053. I will come back full because my eyes are on

  1054. a good good God.

1055. You're you with me. I don't know why will helpen

  1056. your mount? I don't know better.

1057. I have to take the dagger, and I'll do, you know,

1058. stab my son, and and and put the fire and

  1059. and and I don't know.

  1060. I don't know.

1061. I can't answer every question. But what I know is

1062. God is good, He's faithful, and I and the boy

  1063. will come back.

  1064. To you. That's hope.

1065. That is substance behind the hope. The sun said, there's

1066. a fire, there's the dagger. Where's the sacrifice? God will provide,

1067. he said, I I didn't even know how to say,

1068. only said the Lord will provide. And did not the

1069. Lord provide the lamb right or the ram caught in

1070. the thicket of the bush. And so God provided.

  1071. Well.

1072. The best kind of worshiper is the worst ship that

1073. acknowledges God for who he is and that he is good.

1074. God just wants us to so believe that he is good,

1075. and He's good all the time, and nothing can ever

1076. change that. Abraham understood that and said, even before anything happened,

1077. we will come back. You know you can't spirit, no

1078. matter what happened to want the tea, we will be back.

1079. No matter what happened to ask, we.

1080. Will be back. No matter who come stays leave us.

  1081. You know we will.

1082. If you are in the Lord with the Lord, you

1083. will come back, and you will come back stronger than

1084. ever before. Because now Abraham not only comes back with Isaiac,

1085. he comes back with a promise from God that he

1086. will give him, you know, stars in the sky, and

1087. you know, I will bless you because you didn't hold

1088. back your son, your only son. Lord bless him again.

1089. It's such a rich manner. And so now he doesn't

1090. just come back with Isaiach. He comes back with a

1091. future that is so glorious because God was so well

1092. pleased with his faith everybody.

1093. Okay, let me draw towards the last lap.

1094. Let me finish off a few more stories, because I

1095. just really want to get the point to you that

1096. the evidence do we have evidence in our lives for

1097. God to move, give him something to work with.

1098. Jesus ask for a man.

1099. Jesus goes into a church, right I say, a synagogue,

1100. and a man stands there with his hand with it.

1101. I don't know how the within hand will bela but

1102. you know it's obvious enough he's with it.

  1103. Okay.

1104. Now I'm not trying to make any joke. I'm just

1105. trying to say, okay, with it, you know, And then

1106. Jesus says that stretch out your hand.

1107. What uh sensitive thing to say?

1108. I mean, if it was you are, you would go

1109. help him, say young his hand first, talk to him

1110. for what happened to you actually have?

1111. Brother? Jesus is the only the very thing he can't do,

  1112. no doctor in it.

1113. That's what a lot of you are. Sometimes you find

1114. that Jesus is quite cruel. Your leaders susee's quite correctly.

1115. Why you ask me to do so? Straight out your hand?

1116. If everybody, you know, I think someone would have sheltered back. Hello,

  1117. you can't see.

  1118. Now?

1119. Maybe tears is coming in our eyes? Though? Who is

1120. this man? His name is Jesus, He's he hears the blind?

1121. Can you see that I can't stretch up my hand.

1122. He Jesus doesn't have any other way but faith, and

1123. so this guy, thank God he had faith, goes. I

1124. don't know if you already enact the Bible, and there's

1125. a lot of pass we can play.

1126. Now you know what I'm saying.

1127. I mean, I really don't try to make any joy,

1128. but I just want to make you see that some

1129. of us also have that withered hand in our lives.

1130. It could be your past would you take a leadership here?

1131. He knows the reader I suffered as a leader before.

1132. Why is he? Will you take up homes? Leadership? Is here?

1133. The last homes failed and he's asking me to stretch forth?

1134. Do you understand? And yet he stretched forth, and as

1135. as he was stretching forth, his hand grew. Do you understand?

1136. You think Jesus has changed his strategy?

1137. No, but today, of course it's worse because today there's

1138. Facebook and Instagram and camera to go around. See how

1139. cruel this man is. That's politically correct, you know. That's

1140. why it's so much harder now. And people therefore are

1141. kept in that position when they could have been free. Everybody, Okay,

1142. this is this is gospel, This is faith, This is Christianity.

1143. This is important. Let me go on, he says to

1144. the blind man, like this, Why I like so much

  1145. the blind man?

1146. I mean Jesus has actually said before blind has gone,

1147. you know, something like that, or maybe like Paula lay

1148. hands on his head and then the scales fall down.

1149. Is here right, give me my sight?

1150. She said, sure, And the black man couldn't see, but

1151. he heard the next thing. Jesus spits on the ground.

1152. What happened. What happened? What happened? Who's Peter the rover?

1153. He is a holy moment? No excuse me, Jesus himself.

  1154. Speed.

1155. Okay, he's bad. He's not China, so so I know. Sorry, okay,

1156. poy blah, listen on the ground, on the ground. You know.

1157. I love I preached it somewhere else before, but I

1158. love that preaching as well, because the lot revealed to

1159. me that whatever comes out of God's mouth his power.

  1160. Uh uh.

1161. Man should not live by bread alone, but by every

1162. word that proceeds out the mother. So the speed care

1163. so that no matter what comes out of his mouth

1164. is power. It hits the grin which all of you

1165. are made of earth. So a man was made of earth,

1166. the woman came over from his rip, so all of it.

  1167. So whatever comes out.

1168. Of his mouth has God to touch the earth. Boom.

1169. And then together you mix you and him, and he

1170. becomes healing bound. And I can take that if you

1171. are willing. If you are willing, you get touched by

  1172. God's mouth today.

1173. Boom. He takes the clay he makes.

1174. And if you are willing, he's going to take that,

1175. and he's going to apply to the blindness of the

1176. of the world. That's why your office colleagues are going

1177. to be blessed, because you are clay that God will put.

1178. Now so he takes listener. I can't imagine it happening

1179. during the COVID time. Is so unhygienic. He spins on

1180. the ground, he makes he he reaches out for his

  1181. spit and the clay.

1182. Listen, this is not easy. What's Jesus doing now, He's.

1183. Actually picking up his spit together with the earth and

1184. his being in his hands. Getting in the Bible is

1185. saying he's melted don and one of his disciples whispent

1186. this year. I'll give you a hand sanitizer later.

1187. No no, no, no, no no no no no no

  1188. no no.

1189. The last time I talked about this, someone in the

1190. crowd went because they can't imagine you're playing with your speed.

1191. They say, owd color person. You know you see how

1192. people I think it was green, and it was green.

1193. You know, green speaks of life, you know, Jesus. Jesus said,

1194. that's all true. No, listen, with young people, you can

1195. go crazy like I thought, Yeah, he splits something green

1196. out and no, no, no, she's just so here here

1197. we go, here we go. This is this is the

1198. this is the this is the real cringe cringture. And

1199. thank god the man was blind.

1200. You know what I said?

1201. You know what if I say, some of you need

1202. to be blind today. Seriously, you need to be blind

1203. to see goes with the girl because your eyes are

1204. too open. Your more lord covid time.

1205. You know? Now you know what? What was the realist? One?

1206. MPV HMPV or whatever. Okay, he can cannot know. Put

1207. the mask on. No, no, that's my eyes. But that's

1208. your eyes, doctor, that's my So he put it.

1209. He rubs, He rubbed the clay into his eyes and

1210. then says, go wash in the pool of selm.

1211. Hey, give him last some water to wash.

1212. You are kind, loving pastor, right, give him the buck,

1213. give him the mineral water butter to wash his eyes.

1214. No, no, no, no, I need to see evidence because

1215. this won't work. Go and wash in the poo. Tell

1216. you what you asked the blind man to go?

  1217. Wash?

1218. Where? Which direction? My ma? Who is this again?

1219. Jesus? He spared, put the clay in my eyes. Now

1220. ask we're going to wash. But listener. When he went,

1221. he found the pool I'm sure people help him. And

1222. then he washed, and as soon as he was doing that,

1223. according to the word of God, Jesus wasn't even beside him, saying, oh,

1224. let me now pray over you lay my hands on.

1225. He did according to the word of God. And as

1226. soon as he washed, he saw so too many of

1227. us are waiting for America. We should be walking America.

1228. I know my time is up.

1229. I just give you one or two more. Hey, he

1230. asked Peter to launch out to the deep. The fisherman

1231. was taught by the carpenter how to fish, he said,

1232. He said, we have toiled all night.

1233. He didn't even use the word fish all night.

1234. Thought he's a hole sun fulo very hard with toil

1235. all night and caught nothing. Now washing the net, already

1236. washing the net. You know, every time I change my

1237. big sheet, I just change it. Say change my big sheet.

1238. I do the bit she changing because I'm quite good

1239. at it, and my bait is heavy, so you know

1240. I carry it. I got three pilows on my side

1241. and three pilos my wife's side, And so she said

1242. to me, I hope you can change Say.

  1243. Yeah, I'll change it.

1244. The hardest one is to change the comforter, because you

1245. take two percent to change. But no, I'm sort of

1246. a prona. But my only demand of my wife before

1247. she can even touch a bit, is wash your hair,

1248. because I want our both our hair to be clean,

1249. to sleep on clean pillows.

  1250. Are you with me?

  1251. It's a funny, it's a funny thing, but I i's

1252. so sunful idea, so bastakingly put new sheets, please, even

1253. my my pajamas that is new, because I want to

1254. touch the brand new. I tell you, the smell is

1255. so good. It comes from the the cleaners, you know.

1256. Oh it's beautiful smell. It smells like a hotel. Oh,

1257. I'm telling you. And so I put everything new so

1258. that at least the first night we do justice to

1259. my labor of love. And so my wife washed the hair,

1260. as saying, I wash mine, and we slept on clean pillows,

1261. meeting clean pillows with a clean head. This guy has

1262. washed his net already because all the seaweed through the netting.

1263. Very difficult to pull out the seaweed. And here's a

1264. carpenter telling him how to fish.

1265. I wash. I don't want to do anything else with it.

1266. Can or not? Can? I just hang it up. I wash.

1267. You don't understand about washing netsla, you know how dirty

1268. it was not you know all the grime and all

1269. I washed it already, Launch out into the deep and

1270. let down your nets for again.

1271. This is this is late morning. Lord. Nevertheless, you say, nevertheless,

1272. at your word, we will do it.

1273. Launched out, put in the net according to God's word,

1274. according to God's word. Now can pull it up because

1275. it's full and they're sinking. They have to call their

1276. partners to come. Are you all stay with me?

  1277. Guys?

1278. Faith is very exciting right now. It's one of the

1279. most exciting life to live them than you. And yet

1280. too few Christians live it because every day we live

1281. by facts. Boss say this, I say that, Boss, let

1282. me left. I slapped him right. Uh.

  1283. My wife like this.

1284. I like that. We all go by side. Children naughty,

1285. you know whatever? My head five four ministry coming down.

1286. You know you're not nice to me. I'm not nice

1287. to you, for ted I for iye, we live that.

1288. I think sometimes we have more faith buying a house.

1289. You know why we pay a huge depositor getting a thing.

1290. All we have is a brochure. But here you go

1291. ten percent one hundred thousand ring, but do you get

1292. one break? And the Lord asks us to do the same.

  1293. We cannot.

1294. Evidence right of things, not seeing of things hoped for. Okay, okay, good.

1295. I want to tell you about things where this church

1296. was concerned. We grew to three hundred and we stopped,

1297. and you know the story. The Lord says to me, Kenneth,

1298. you want the church to grow.

  1299. I say yes.

1300. Lord says, I want you to excise faith. I says yes,

1301. so I will excise face. Just tell me what to do.

1302. Go out through the streets, preach evangelized tree vangelism. He say, no,

1303. you give up the twelve thousand ringing that the detto

1304. giving you every month. I said, Lord, what does giving

1305. up the money had to do with the numbers? He says,

1306. just trust me. So I remember writing the Dato email.

1307. When he caught me, scolded me, you think my money.

  1308. That is it?

1309. I said, no, no, no, I don't your money that

1310. But God told me, Oh, really, God told you what

1311. we will see. Put it on the phone. We'll see

1312. beat so fast. Elder Ka came into the room. How

1313. did you finally called that dog?

  1314. I said, I just did. He's calling me.

1315. Oh, let's go to you a white person, I said,

1316. because he thinks that I think his money is that.

1317. But I didn't say that. I just said the Lord

1318. told me. I don't understand. No, I've got bills to pay.

1319. I need fifteen thousand a month. He gives me twelve.

1320. I get the other three thousand from the small group

1321. of young people that we have because Extiras was only

  1322. about thirty young people.

1323. Forty young people, right, young people means no money. Okay.

1324. So the thing is that the offering not by the

1325. time half the half manday money. Not nobody in the

1326. offering no more, because the students themselves are gimme while offering.

1327. They have to give you, right yeah, uh so not easy.

1328. I need three thousand to give me twelve thousand and UK.

1329. First time I saw him crying on kare, don't cry

1330. one so easily. He's still coming, he's trying to hold

1331. it back. I said, don't worry. If God said so,

1332. he will come through. My heart's beating so fast because

1333. I've never seen him do this thing, you know, provide

1334. like that. And then Elder comes into my office again

1335. two weeks later, the time where I supposed to sign

1336. checks to pay salary, pay bills, pay the rental, elther

1337. king comes in faster. I just counted the offering for

1338. the month. You don't you won't believe it, I said,

1339. why tell me, there's thirteen thousand ring it more in

1340. the offering this month. I just gave up, child, I said, Hallelujah,

1341. God give us one extra. Both of us just stood

1342. there crying, God so faithful. Then next month he comes

1343. into my office a gain. I don't know how it happened,

1344. twenty six thousand ringing more in the offering. Where's it

1345. coming from. Then by the third month, when he was

1346. thirty three thousand more in offering, I said, Ky, seriously,

1347. you've got to find out where he comes from.

  1348. And he found out.

1349. You found out that there are about five six seven

1350. of our own young adults got six one bonus, seven

1351. month bonus, eight brothers. So I realized that when the

1352. pastor continues to obey the lotter, the people get blessed.

1353. The people will get blessed, so they're giving more. But

1354. the real crunch is this the real beautiful test the

1355. bays this. In just six months, our church grew from

1356. three hundred to six hundred people double.

1357. Double, because I tell you, at the end of the day,

1358. you know who fills these seeds, not you, not me.

1359. The Bible says he added daily to the church. Those

1360. are being saved. So if you please God, you think

1361. it's very hard for him to feel the seed. He

1362. can feel the whole back rower, snap of finger. All

1363. he wants you and I to do is faith. Why

1364. because faith pleases him and when he's pleased, there's nothing

1365. that he will not do. Fastest church growth ever, No,

1366. three hundred to six hundred in six months. No book

1367. can teach you this. And I didn't give free food.

1368. Oh everybody will come to a church, get a free iPhone?

1369. Oh no, no, nothing, no free if yes, faith because

1370. faith creates, faith creates numbers money.

  1371. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

1372. Daniel, Do I tell you a story about how and

1373. this this probably be my last one, because I think

1374. the time is gone ready, the story of how X

1375. got the communing At one time struggled with people not

1376. coming to church on Sunday. They shared it. Okay, I'll

1377. share this because I think I'd be interesting for us

1378. to know. So X name, by the grace of God,

1379. grew from fourteen people. Today we have about one hundred

1380. and eighty. But when we about one hundred people, the

1381. church was growing every week, new people coming, new people coming,

1382. prices low. Then for seven weeks I was away, I

1383. was doing the different things. I was away, and when

1384. I came back, it was the seventh week of away

1385. and Edward pun our usher head, said to me, faster, Uh,

1386. just want to let you know, for the past five

1387. six weeks are no newcomer, not even one. I say, why,

  1388. I don't know. We're praying, we're praying, but we're all

1389. very discouraged because every week had newcomer.

  1390. So I said, okay, but you're you're not don't not

1391. sure why? Yeah, not sure why?

  1392. We're trying anal we're trying, we're praying, and then we're

  1393. also advertising whatever.

1394. So I tell you if it's the truth, because this

  1395. is my story.

1396. I walk into church the seventh week or the eighth week, Sunday,

1397. and I'm getting ready to do the pre wordship preyer

1398. because at that time I was still the CPC. And

1399. I walked in as I passed a welcome table. So

1400. I passed a welcome table. God stop me, this is

1401. kind of you want to know the problem.

  1402. I'll show you.

1403. So I started the welcome table, and I said, show

1404. me that, lord, a welcome table, a very nice way.

1405. They decorated very nicely, the nice cloth all that. Then

1406. it's a welcome back. You're the heavy heals what Then

1407. there is this you a welcome card, newcomers card, uh

1408. Salvation card, and a pencil bend or.

1409. I said, it's nice in my mind? Is nice?

1410. What's wrong? He said, I'm going to tell you what's wrong?

1411. He says, look properly. So then, of course the revelation

1412. gave to me. There was one welcome back, one newcomer's card,

1413. one Salvation card, one pencil.

1414. Everything was one. When I left, it was not one.

  1415. It was five.

1416. Everything was five. And then I said, do you know

1417. sometimes we can just go on with the motion of

1418. just putting it on the table because we have to.

1419. But whether or not we believe that you will all

1420. translate into lives, that is not sure.

1421. So the lot told me that's the problem. Deal with

  1422. it today.

1423. So I say, okay, all right, I gotta deal with

1424. it gently, right because people are all volunteers. We don't

1425. want to scold them. We just want to see whether

1426. we can all learn from this. So I took the microphone.

1427. I say, guys, we're about to pray to the normal

1428. prayer list, all right, pray for all ourch just blah

1429. blah blah blah. I say, I've got one thing to

1430. do before, I said, I heard that newcomers have not

  1431. been coming.

1432. I know that a lot of you are discouraged and disappointed.

1433. But maybe we have been so discouraged and disappointed that

1434. they become to a place whereby we feel like maybe

1435. they won't come up also today, so let's just put

1436. one out. You could be praying until the cows come home,

1437. but if you don't believe in what you pray, it's.

1438. Not going to happen. So I said, I'm not blaming anybody.

  1439. I love you guys.

1440. You know I love you guys. We build this church together,

1441. by the grace of God. We're all in this together.

1442. But I want to tell you what God just told me,

1443. And I tell you, one by one, their hits went

1444. down because they knew that after a while it was convenience.

1445. Because if nobody was gonna come, why put five back out?

1446. I have to if I put one out, easy to pack.

1447. But you're also asking for nobody coming up same. Sorry,

1448. it's very funny because of why I was speaking at

1449. the x Menna, one person heard it and then later repented.

1450. At the back there he.

1451. Told one of our leaders, are, uh, please tell Pastor

1452. Saria that our expresso food I cut half today. I said, no, no, no, no,

  1453. I said, I didn't even know I even know you

1454. had express of food cut half. I think person's speaking

1455. to me, And no, he's not speaking to you. He

1456. didn't even know by expresso. He's speaking now expressos only

1457. later he said, But I no, no, no, because I

1458. was told it was last week when I prepare a lot,

1459. you know half was wasted, so we cut down. How

1460. many of you have ever lived like that? It's very

1461. natural our attitude, right, like for e double you will

1462. promise a promotion and then the promotion doesn't come, so

1463. you work very hard after and when the promise is

1464. not fulfilled, then you you step back and go like

1465. maybe I won't want so hot. And it applies to

1466. everything else in your life. You come to a place

1467. where by the environment changes your attitude the environment.

1468. And so I said, can I have.

1469. Two ushes carry the welcome table? You're going to dedicate

1470. it to the altar today. So the two guys are

1471. very gingerly and carefully because everything was already arranged, so

1472. they didn't want to rearrange it. So they're carrying it

1473. at word and somebody else as it comes. Possibly, we

1474. have never done this. I need to do something, I said, Lord.

1475. We dedicate this welcome table to you, but more importantly,

1476. we dedicate our hearts. Help us continue to believe no

1477. matter what the external tell us. We don't live by sight,

1478. live by faith. So help us lot and forgive us

1479. if you have to, for our lack of faith. But Lord,

1480. from today always we're gonna have a different enditude. And

1481. then what happened was they all they all caught it,

1482. they all received it. They all yeah, we all repented together.

1483. We all said, Lord, from the day, always make it different.

1484. And then before the table was brought out to the

1485. front back again, we lay hands on every empty chair,

1486. so everybody moved, you know, lay hands Lord. Let my

1487. auntie come and sit under here, Let my sister come

1488. and see here, Let my brother, let my neighbor come,

1489. and every chair was prayed for.

1490. Okay, halle Jah, praise God. That day is Selva.

1491. You know that day it's ever five newcomers, five and

1492. Edward and the whole ushers team, the hosting team are

1493. never the same again because they saw how God honesty

1494. five new comers on that day. So yesterday I met

1495. Edward for lunch. I said, Edward, how are you're still

1496. doing the same thing. We have never stopped. We always

1497. go to the welcome table. We pray because as we

1498. pray for the workcome table, we actually pray for ourselves

1499. to make sure that we continue to believe. And then

1500. when we ask, God can answer.

  1501. So we condue.

1502. But five, yeah, maybe once or twice there were no people.

1503. You'll go up and down, but your fake can all

1504. go up and down. Your faith must remain constant. Father,

1505. in the name of Jesus, I thank you so much.

1506. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  1510. for you. God bless
