You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
If you have a Bible, would you turn to Hebrews
-
chapter six. Here we go, I got slights for you.
-
I want to thank my wife for helping me to
-
put my slags together. Right, so you use chet GBT.
-
I use chat Shirley. She's very good. She cries, all
-
my grandma, properly, what actually I did? Read through my
-
slags to chech gibt there she said that. I think
-
she says a big book jop, a bit more complicated, say,
-
nobody will understand your points. So she summarized it for me.
-
All right? Amen?
-
So Hebrews chapter six, Verse one says, therefore, leaving the
-
discussion of elementary or principles of Christ, let us go
-
into perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from
-
dead works and of faith towards God. Hebrew six reminds
-
us again about leaving the discussion for elementary principles. I
-
won't speak firstly about the principles of living. The principles
-
of living. It's important for us to understand, really there
-
is a season of time whereby we need to exit
-
a particular face to enter into a particular face. We
-
live in a time whereby we exit college enter the
-
working world from from singlehood to a merit person, right,
-
and we go to different phases of our lives because
-
of age and stuff like that. But as believers today,
-
I want to courage us to really to think about
-
leaving something behind so we can move forward. Sometimes why
-
we don't leave is because we think we have a rife.
-
Think about it.
-
Sometimes why we don't leave is because we think we
-
have a rife. You know, it's it's very hard something
-
to encourage someone which you leave this state of where
-
you are right now and go on to embrace something new.
-
And sometimes it's very hard because if you've been in
-
church for some time already, you realize that there are
-
a lot of misconception thinking of where we are as believers.
-
For example, the moment do you remember the day you
-
accepted Christ and there is an assumption next week when
-
you come to church, you know to worship, pray, give,
-
and read the word of the Lord. If you multiply
-
that by number of years that you believe in the
-
lot right, our foundation is not popularly late. Our foundation
-
is not popular late and what happens that we have
-
this skilled or rather how false foundation we think is
-
what we think christian is. And that's why sometimes when
-
we encourage people to serve, when we encourage people to give,
-
to go for missions, and this state we always come out,
-
Let me pray about it first. Well, sounds very Christian, friends,
-
but I've never seen Jesus approaching the disciples. Follow me,
-
let me pray about it first, serve me. Let me
-
pray about it first. I have never seen the disciples
-
having that that that that tech line. But yet in
-
the modern day Christianity that we have right now, sometimes
-
why we don't live is because we think that we
-
have arrived in our particular Christian journey, our particular Christian
-
faith that we have right now. Have you noticed that
-
how many of you know that we do have Bible
-
classes running every Wednesday? Some of you knows that we
-
don't know, but you know. One of the greatest challenge
-
running Bible classes is this is that our tendency is
-
very low. Some classes only got four. Our churches about
-
maybe about the nine hundred to a thousand, but.
-
Very low. Four five sakes.
-
And there are days whereby we have to close some
-
classes down because nobody signed up. Now, I understand different
-
people got different schedules and stuff like. So I'm not
-
knocking on the schedule of people's business, all right, But
-
I'm asking us to consider a point here whereby how
-
is our foundation? How is your foundation in Christ? Doesn't
-
mean that we have four Bibles with different translations that
-
we are knowledgeable in the world of God.
-
Right.
-
There was a story I just heard recently. A famous
-
author one time went to see a friend and he
-
was quite surprised that he saw some of his books
-
on the library shelf and said, wow, I didn't know
-
that I'm your friend.
-
I was sorry, you're my friend kind of thing.
-
But as this in just step off from his office,
-
he picked up some of his books and he realized
-
that although the books was on the shelf, it looks
-
brand new. Then he realized that none of these books
-
will ever ever open. Sometimes we celebrate the image of
-
having a nice library, a good library, right.
-
But the books will never open.
-
That he decided to write in his book, or rather like,
-
you know, thank you so much for supporting and stuff like that.
-
He picked up another book brand new again, and he
-
started writing, Hey, by then you finished this book called me.
-
Right, gave his full number.
-
Right if famous author gave his full number in there,
-
this author is John Maxwell. He gave his full number
-
in there. So what happened was that he didn't get
-
a phone call. He says he did not get a
-
phone call from his friend. It came the conclusion that
-
was sometimes it's nice to have the book, but the
-
book doesn't have any power if it's not open.
-
So like it's the same with our hearts as well.
-
If our hearts are not open and we think that
-
we have arrived, you know, sometimes we think a rife
-
that we are not open to anything at all, and
-
that's why it's hard to leave. So the Bible encourages
-
in he Rules, Chapter sixty sees that living the discussion
-
of elementary principles. So when was the last time you've
-
been challenged to leave a certain mindset? When was the
-
last time you've been engaged to leave a certain place
-
of comfort? That's why sometimes when we go for missions,
-
we can't challenge. You are asked to do Cheurist ministry,
-
But I'm sixty do Churish ministry. Someone could be young,
-
could you talk to the older gentleman about he's like
-
my grandfather's age.
-
When was the last time?
-
When do you have to be uncomfortable with a different
-
cuisine that you're not familiar with? And some of us
-
here this morning, I pray that you go deeper. All
-
right now, philipp Is ufter Tree was stroussais that not
-
that I've have already attained all am I ready perfected.
-
But I press on and I lay hold for that
-
which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. So
-
Philippus Tree reminds us again that we have not arrived yet. Amen,
-
you have not arrived here, so that it's not about
-
how all you are as a Christian, and no matter
-
how all we get as a believer, we have not
-
arrived yet. There's so much more for you and me
-
to experience God, our God that we serve, is a
-
God that doesn't have the last page for us to
-
say this all that you have, Okay, you're only a
-
tree page manual, a tree page book.
-
If you go to our history of your journey of friends.
-
If only you knew I'm writing already, I'm developing a
-
message right now called are you ready to look for
-
your donkeys? From first Semuel chapter twelve, Saul went not
-
to look for his father's donkeys. How many of you
-
know that in the midst of looking for the donkeys,
-
God was preparing Saul to be king, and Saul wanted
-
to give out halfway. He went up and down different
-
mountains and stuff like that. And this is what Saul
-
said to the servant, Let's go back home. I think
-
my parents will be worried about us more than the donkeys. Ready,
-
But it was the servant that say that here, I
-
know a man of God in this city.
-
His name is Samuel.
-
Let's go and find him, and let's go and ask
-
of him just.
-
A bit more.
-
And Saul had the divine encounter with God. Well, Saul
-
was looking for the donkey, God was preparing Samuel to
-
annoying Saul. Many times our lives, why we have not
-
have a breakthrough, it's because our mindset stop us from
-
going one step further, and we go that I've done
-
all this. I went through the mountains to look, I
-
went through the redings to look. I couldn't find And
-
Philippin's tree reminds us again that not already attained or
-
a really perfected and if our mindset thing that oh,
-
I'm all right.
-
I'm a believer.
-
I'm okay, I got no trouble and maybe and that's
-
why sometimes God was go do something deeper, do something
-
deeper in our lives so that we can we can
-
know more of Him. So I pray that this morning
-
that you open your hearts and really go deeper with
-
the lot.
-
I got this.
-
Message because I was in Osaka about three weeks ago. Now,
-
for the past two years, friends, I have not applied
-
for a single leaf.
-
So I love to work. Work is leave for me,
-
all right.
-
My wife say this that if I did day I
-
stopped working, I took leave, I'll fall sake at home
-
and and stuff like that. So and the day I
-
go back to what my wife saying, Oh, you look
-
so excited to go to work, like you know, it's
-
like your holiday like that.
-
I say, yeah, sort of stuff like that.
-
It's not what I just want it a bit differently.
-
So pass put me aside and say, hey, you've been
-
working very hard with this on the school project and
-
this stuff like that for two years, no break at all.
-
And sometimes you know, about twelve thirteen hours just to
-
finish the school project renovation project, and it's good for
-
you to go for go for a break. Okay, I
-
know you may not you may thinks you mean you
-
may not need it. I didn't think I needed a Breaklaba,
-
but there are sites I could see. Your patient is
-
running thinner right now? You want answers quicker than not
-
earlier than not later. Right, You're you're not very approachable
-
when people take the time to give you and answer
-
the kind of thing, right, I say, no, passive and
-
want to do things more efficially.
-
Ma.
-
Right you ask ABC, you just perceive the ABC. Don't
-
tell me all the dramas behind it and stuff like
-
why you choose A, what you choose B what you
-
choose see and say, well, if you don't think you
-
need a break, your wife needs a break.
-
Your wife needs a break.
-
And I go like, yeah, she can go on the
-
holiday on her own, right, No, yeah, past I say, ok,
-
I was very dangerous to send your wife on the
-
holiday on her own. She would either come back with
-
a lot of stakes and your and you find your
-
money missing or stuff like that. But anyway, so so
-
pass say why do you visit extra soccer?
-
And you know and and have a time.
-
So I was there, right, I was there my very
-
first time, me and my wife being there. And it
-
was one of those days whereby you know, the very
-
first day, so you've been to Japan, you walked a lot, right,
-
so for the very first time, I mean the first time,
-
but one of those rare occasions. We clok about twenty
-
four thousand steps in the day and just I couldn't
-
feel my legs.
-
And I was in one of the small little.
-
Toilets that Japanese quite well known, the smaller what they
-
call it the bathtop all right, now, it was designed
-
for the height for their size, okay, I asked passa
-
Benji there, So how do you squeeze a person like
-
me into the smaller the bathtup? Where do I put
-
my legs?
-
Older? What you do? You squat inside there? You just
-
squat said that it would be very relaxing.
-
And I did what he asked me to do, all right,
-
And I could only last for twenty seconds because my
-
legs was cramping already. And I was just sitting in
-
there for a short moment and I was just thinking,
-
true about some things that went through for the past
-
two year. Two years so I turned fifty this year,
-
and what I realized is that you know, although the
-
age is like, wow, you reach fifty, but I also
-
do realize a couple of things I noticed. Number one
-
was this is that the inability to read more than
-
five pages at a goal, That inability to read more
-
than five pages or any book or the Bible sometimes
-
at one goal without reaching out for your handphone or
-
grabbing a drink or being distracted by anything else. Before
-
the challenge trends. I thought to myself that here, I remember,
-
when I was much younger, that reading like twenty page
-
easy ps not problem at all, just because I could read.
-
And I think I could open the book and.
-
Just start reading and just hand for trail out the window,
-
the kind of put it aside, right, what handful?
-
Right? Yeah?
-
And said, so.
-
We grew up with I have we understand what it
-
means to having the book just to read?
-
And we used to.
-
I used to buy books last time every four the
-
just pick up a book and read three pages. Couldn't
-
survive get distructed by so ma anything else. Just because
-
I could walk, I thought, what, it's twenty four thousand
-
steps easy, ma, right, just because I could do certain things.
-
And I realized I had the mindset that I thought
-
that I've a really arrived that just because that I
-
could walk, eat and stuff like that, that I'm all right.
-
Only to realize when I when I go to the test,
-
when I have to put to the paces, when I
-
have to climb the stairs in Osaka, I climb down
-
the stairs with our luggage bag.
-
I go up to my wife the why did we
-
choose this country? Again?
-
It's only when you go to that test you realize
-
that you have not arrived here. And that's why God
-
will always give you and I opportunity for us to
-
understand where we are with our journey. Come on, God
-
will always give you an opportunity. Friends, It's not easy
-
to serve in a group. It's never easy. So I
-
told you earlier. Working on a music production album, do
-
you know that it's so much easier to produce a
-
single language album?
-
Easy, super easy because everyone speak the same language.
-
But when I start sharing people we are working on
-
three different languages on one album.
-
They say, Elder, you're crazier. I say yeah.
-
And the worst part of it is these friends. I
-
got another to other brothers with me on this project.
-
Passa Jack and passa Joe, right, passa Jack is Albert's brother,
-
and pass Joe is in Melbourne. One guy who's not here,
-
but I'm on call with him for one hour a
-
day sometimes just to talk to a bad album.
-
This to a.
-
Musically inclined they know about music and stuff like I'm
-
here chapioning a project.
-
I do not know anything about music. I don't know
-
what key is. People. Are you guys playing just now?
-
So if you have a perfect hearing one, friends, please
-
don't stand beside me, because I will make sure when
-
I sing friends, you'll be so distracted. One time is
-
so next to a person with a perfect carrying one?
-
She said, Olderkay, you're not saying.
-
Can you not sing? Because I want to worship God?
-
I just I just can't lift up my hands because
-
I don't Your tone is flat. Your I don't know.
-
I can't say very distracted. So can you stand further
-
away or something that I understand what she says. Again,
-
my wife does that to me as well. I can't
-
clap in the same beat right, And I asked God,
-
I asked past the Passa, why you asked me to
-
champion the project? Because I'm not Passa. Daniels is the
-
better person. He can put things together, understand music and
-
if someone played the wrong kick can contribute.
-
All I know about.
-
Music is I got to put up Apple Music, Spotify
-
and try to find the kind of thing.
-
Right.
-
I know about the marketing expect right, not the music
-
expect The said this to me, God wanted this project,
-
and I know that your but you're the right person
-
to pull this together to pushing forward. So as I
-
began to have discussion with the group friends, the English
-
wanted a bit more experimenter, a bit more pop.
-
Radio friendly. I don't know what that's that that means? Right?
-
Then the bhasa one. First they want to do a
-
live take, a live version. Then the men don't want
-
the clarity. They wanted to sound like every other variety show,
-
like that clear workers, keyboard guitar, the worker is the
-
selling point, like wow, three different demands. It's like, can
-
I send the dice on you all? Like you know
-
all this one style out right? Cannot because reaching different group,
-
different group, friends, different group. And I explained these people
-
there was there was an assistant engineer. They say, how
-
don't want to give up?
-
Do you know that?
-
Before I could start the world, people are coming coming
-
to my table by by side. They're telling me what
-
to do one not to do. And I explained to
-
the individual. I said, as much as you don't like
-
to work with this person, God has allowed it. God
-
has allowed it for your maturity sake. God has allowed
-
things in our life for your surity.
-
Sick.
-
I don't like the word passa Daniel, but God has
-
allowed it, friends, for your maturity sake, so that you
-
and I could develop even further. The capacity grows even bigger.
-
If we want with people that we like to work with, friends,
-
you will never grow, we will never go. We know,
-
even know, we don't even know how to work with
-
one another. I explain that it's not so much we
-
are developing songs for the album, but the album is
-
what God uses to develop us, so that it reminds
-
us again, friends, that we are not perfected yet.
-
There's so much more to learn. It's so easy. Friends. Sometimes,
-
I guess they must like, yeah, I don't like the world.
-
We're elder.
-
I said, why, yeah, because you're not friendly, not approachable.
-
Every time I asked you, it's always black and white one.
-
I say, so easy man, you ask me, might give
-
you a black and white A. I see things that
-
I mean, I see things that way. I understand why
-
people trying to tell me like not approachable, rite, no
-
room for negotiation and this stuff like that. I could
-
like and passa have to sit down with me. Can
-
you just give a bit more time and room for
-
negotiation hear people out before we just say no that
-
you're close to don't move on to the next topic.
-
It's very easy.
-
You know, you're very comfortable with that because you're in
-
the element. You make decisions very quickly. You're very comfident
-
with that. And can you hear people out or not?
-
They're bringing up there they are frustration to me, pass
-
the say and I'm less letting you the frustration at
-
the point of time. And I heard them from past,
-
I read like, oh, these people are too much. These
-
people too much. First thing, they want to talk about
-
their frustration, about my frustration. I want you to think about.
-
I'm sharing you candidly because I want you to remember
-
these messagements. It's not that I really arrived. Doesn't mean
-
I really arrived. God had so much more. All these
-
people are easy frustration. Now, don't like pasidentiel Then you
-
go and see persidsidento the day I talked to persidentiel Or.
-
He never sparre me every time he takes the microphone.
-
Now he wants to school people like one Persida when
-
you're coming to speak again.
-
It's very easy to bring up frustration. It's not wrong.
-
You can bring it up, friends, but I want you
-
to just take one step further, Just take one step back,
-
and just see what God is doing. God uses different
-
people friends to remind us, to remind you. That's so
-
much more. I sat down with this brother first day.
-
I say, brother, I'm so sorry if I have not
-
give you a listening year.
-
If I was still create my decision.
-
I decided certain things without fully understanding your needs.
-
Please forgive me. I went with that approach.
-
I went with that approach because I knew that that's
-
not just the album friends, it's the people I work with.
-
At the end of day. God wants me.
-
To develop, wants me to grow up, wants me to
-
be uncomfortable, wants me to have another dimension. So friends,
-
it's not just about living friends, but it's about living, right,
-
come on, it's not just about living the next like
-
next TV see they fell a sleeper, So sorry borrowing message.
-
I understand, right, it's not just about leaving somebody. We
-
can live frustrated on your friends, you know what I mean.
-
I don't know what with you are, So you can
-
live frustrated, to live angry, you know forever cut ties
-
to you.
-
Let's see it.
-
All living right, living right, You exit properly, You exit properly. Friends,
-
earlier days of Asia, if you ever flew Asia before
-
this march, earlier days, the first couple of years, I
-
remember that even before the plane, about the lad before
-
start standing up ready right, just want to rush out
-
through the door. I remember there was a time, I
-
think the second of second or that you're doing operation.
-
We couldn't book seats back then, all right, so we
-
have to cure at the gate.
-
One.
-
I remember the mom telling that. I saw mom telling
-
that her son. All right, the kids going to open
-
the key right now. You slowly woke your way up
-
to the first of the light, and you're rushy that
-
don't no need to kill one, no need to kill
-
just right, push your way to after all your this ise.
-
Nobody's going to s actually line, not one.
-
Friends, It's not just about leaving frustrated, angry, you know
-
them too many people are just living the exit a
-
certain stage of the life, angry, frustrated, but God always
-
reminded us to exit right, to do things right. If
-
you have a book that doesn't belong to you, return it, so.
-
We'll always your book.
-
Okay, please return it back to her. Otherwise she s
-
here a collection. There's a missing book there. If you
-
have something that doesn't belong to you, return it because
-
God wants to bless you, but it can't bless you.
-
But our heart and our spirit is not in the
-
right place. And many times in our life. First what
-
happened is this that just because we can justify our experience,
-
our our emo doesn't mean we are right, doesn't mean
-
we are right. And the law wants to remind us
-
this morning. It's not just about living. Oh yeah, principle.
-
I taught me about principal leaving.
-
So I leave the.
-
It's just like you after homes. When you exit the homes,
-
ask is there anything I can do or not help
-
the homeowner to troil, to take out the trash, check
-
out the toilet, make sure it's flash properly, there's no
-
yellow stains everywhere.
-
So recently I was in the Salah South homes.
-
And you know the host is very very kind, prepare,
-
prepare a lot of full of friends. Anyway, towards the end,
-
when we finish our homes, we will always ask like, hey,
-
is there anything we could do or not?
-
And she said, please help.
-
Me top out the food because I don't eat it
-
for tomorrow. And we always packed the food up, giving
-
the different students that they came along away.
-
I say, is there a treasure to take out or not?
-
I have seen people after the consumer after finish homes,
-
good bye, I see your next homes. Nothing wrong with that. Friends,
-
you can just exit that way. Nothing wrong with that,
-
but one step even better? Is there anything I can
-
do or not? I share with you before I go
-
and share with you again. I've knowed somebody who attended
-
homes you started never flash one, not small but big
-
one until the person who attended the home or then
-
the home went to the toddy one of you never
-
flushed out and the.
-
Person in the world do you know what I mean?
-
Not you can.
-
It's not just about leaving friends, about living right, Come on,
-
and some of you need to be reminded gain friends
-
that Oh I left my previous way because I was angry.
-
I was frustrated.
-
Deal with it first, right, because you're going to carry
-
the same frustration and anger into your new place. That
-
was when I was much younger, I had a problem
-
with one of our pastors in our church. Couldn't say,
-
I to a lot of things and stuff like that,
-
and I what should I do? What should I do?
-
Because really I try my best. I thought I tried
-
my best and said what should I do? I just
-
couldn't say eye to I? I felt like, okay, if
-
it's in this service, I go NASA much.
-
I'm okay.
-
I have to say this because you thought that this
-
is the reason passes ever have know this when we
-
are two years old, four years old as a church
-
could pass can just give me a very good advice? Can?
-
I just want to let you know, okay, if you
-
cannot handle this individual, If you cannot handle this individual,
-
if you choose to go to a different service or
-
want him to talk to him, ignore him everything.
-
God loves this too much. Leave you alone.
-
It's either he'll bring you a clique that's like that
-
or a wife that's like that, because he wants you
-
to grow. He wants you to grow. Passive reminds me
-
and from that day. Onwards, I told myself, I'm going
-
to try my very best because I do want to
-
marry the cow person. I do not want to marry
-
the corol person. Which area that woke out? You sleep
-
in this way? I sleep another bit. No, God knows, friends,
-
God understand, He knows, all right. Second thing that I want,
-
just let you know, friends, Jenny Si scept the team
-
verse five to seven the story of Abraham and Lord,
-
So Lord also when Abraham had flocks and herds and tens,
-
Now the level was not able to was not able
-
to support them, and they were they might, they might
-
draw together, for their possession were so great that could
-
not dwell together. This is a situation, a lot of Abraham,
-
two great men, so much stuff. This uncle and nephew
-
begin to come to a place whereby the land is
-
too small. Being a younger person, you say you're.
-
The old one. You you, you choose, You make your choice.
-
Word severe say that there was strife between the hurt
-
smell of abraham livestock and hurt smell of lot livestock.
-
Strife begins to happen. Strife begins to happen. Sometimes things
-
happen in our life and the Lord once reminds us
-
again and to see the world of the next to
-
the next light. So Abram said to Lord, please let
-
that be no strife between you and me. Please let
-
that be no strife between you and me. And this
-
is how I'm going to close on this principle, the
-
principle of being right. It is what Abram did. Please
-
let there be no strife between you and me. Unity
-
is more important than anything else. Many times you just
-
want our weigh my way, my thoughts, my preference, the
-
people that I like to work with, the set that
-
I like. You know, I understand in church that people
-
you got your favorite seat, You got your favorite seat.
-
If someone sit in your seat, really you go like
-
you give the depths there, I understand.
-
I've been in just long enough. Really, but letting be
-
no strive.
-
The Bible here is is between your hurts men and
-
my hurts man, because unity, pleasing God is more important
-
than anything else. As I close, and this, I'm gonna
-
challenge you. I actually got three points on. If I'm good,
-
then I get vited again. Now for point two entry.
-
All right, sorry, have you ever been the place whereby
-
you allow your preference to stop you this is that
-
you must understand this story I've heard. I've seen this
-
situation player in so many times in church. It's not
-
me who's causing the strife, but my the on line
-
is causing the strife. I'm okay with. But as a
-
person that's been put to lead, you have to make
-
a choice. So if you're leading your own life, you
-
have to make a choice today. Friends, do we have
-
a mindset that we have a really a rife or
-
there's so much more that God wants to do. However,
-
with this test, save it for the next point. So
-
this year is my fifth year after I did my stent,
-
So I have to go from a city scan on
-
my heart again just to check whether the first operation,
-
how how what was the condition like on my first stent?
-
So I was prepared, all right. I was nervous, but
-
yet prepared because for the past five years I've been dilegioned,
-
delegient with my diet. Ten salary sticks sometimes for breakfast.
-
Ten salery sticks, Okay, not salary right as in money, right,
-
ten green sticks. Right, salary sticks for breakfast. Blend it
-
be water and just drink it. Amen, hallelujah, taste very good.
-
I want to let you know, right, couldn't find salary
-
something is bit root. Just blend the bit root with
-
water and just drink it right, very good. After you
-
eat that first, I guarantee you can get empty anytime.
-
But because you put it's all right color you tell
-
a doctor and just put your color.
-
I got show why by can you give me emty
-
the rest or? I just kidding.
-
So I was very diligion for religion, okay, cutting down
-
on my favorite roast park and trust you and this
-
stuff like that, cut down all right, follow my wife diet.
-
My wife is very very very strict with her diet,
-
very strict. Right any any any portion of fact she'll
-
cut out, including if you serve yu a five meat
-
and stuff like that. A for meat, she cut out
-
the fat from the yu. I just see you colorut
-
the fed that's nothing to eat the video anyway. That's
-
what she did in Japan as well. So very very
-
diligion okay, I mean all right, oats every other day
-
and you understand that, okay, and supplements and stuff like that.
-
So I thought, okay, I'm going to go in for this,
-
can come out victorious, come out with a testimony. Just
-
waiting for the doctor to say that well done, my
-
good and faithful patient, You've been dilegient, You've kept your
-
diet streak, and just stuff like I wanted to hear that,
-
because come on, who doesn't want right Anyway, I went
-
in for the scan and I know I've been because
-
this my second time.
-
I can't know the drew a ready.
-
Friends, if they do your if your results do whatever issue,
-
they won't call you into the room one the scanning room.
-
The moment it be so o heay coming into the
-
scanning room. For a while, I knew, right, I was hoping, okay,
-
fifty to fifty. I was hoping that so I couldn't
-
find even no more, really no, God has something that
-
I'm also hoping to hear America testimony that the more
-
stands I couldn't find the sandymore looks like it just
-
grover the natural, the kind of thing don't have.
-
Four friends don't have.
-
All I heard was the first time we did on
-
your fantastic very condition, just like we put it yesterday.
-
I said, Hallelujah. However, I'm like, there was this one
-
party here. We're not very sure. There was a massive
-
narrowing My heart just sang, all those months and years
-
are taking salary in the morning. Come on, so if
-
you pay the price, man, you pay the price for
-
doing so many things I think, come on, none of
-
us enjoy you think.
-
Robby in the morning one. It's not my favorite thing.
-
But I just I just do work at the do
-
with our friend. There one part that's narrowing and looks
-
quite bad. We might need to do and understand on you,
-
my heart sank. I was so disappointed. I went look
-
at my salary, saying, you guys are rubbishler from the
-
Trump today almost e KFC. I just enjoyed myself the
-
kind of thing Rose pot here. I can't forget about you,
-
all right, this is the most Rose, the most organtic
-
old friends that truma not since all right, friends orgaining.
-
Or anyway stuff like that.
-
So I want you to come in for an angelgram
-
to for us to investigate further, my heart sang. And
-
I told Passe about it, I told my wife about it.
-
I go like, oh no, another go through the whole
-
view again and then what did I do wrong with?
-
Like which part of the fact that I add its cover?
-
You analyze everything because you want to put which occasion
-
you've messed up. I thought I really arrived, good clean
-
bill of health and stuff like that, because every other
-
couple of months I do go go for my blood
-
tests and just to make sure I'm on the right path,
-
right path. Cholesterol level pretty good, LDL pretty good, one
-
point eight, two highs of two point four, the kind.
-
Of thing never touched for one, medication supplements all the
-
way got new. I was afraid.
-
I went in for the for the androgram. I was
-
lying down there. What really doesn't help is that you
-
know when the doctors are operating on you, right, you
-
heard you heard the doctor just say, nurve faster, please faster,
-
and you're operating on you. Talk what happened all the
-
operation operation table?
-
Right?
-
He went in there checked to say, mister one, let
-
you know all right, it's indeed there's a narrowing on
-
your vessel because I think your vessler has lightning has decreased,
-
therefore causing causing the vesser to be inflame a bit
-
and causing there's a narrowing or passage there. But we
-
won't do anything, all right. Let you be for won't
-
do anything. And you just wanted to your diet. If
-
you have chest, pay, come look for me. I want
-
to tell you if I got chest, peare my diary. Y.
-
I was in the hospital by just thinking true everything
-
that has happened. Did I like like what the Bible
-
says that wash my hands in rain? I have done everything?
-
Follow everything? Did I do everything?
-
You mean? Right? All the supplements you paid for? Right?
-
You consume everything that you could fight anything that said
-
lower collection, you just go and take you understand? And
-
Lord just reminded me it's not that you're already a rivee.
-
And just because the result comes up this way doesn't
-
mean that you're on the wrong path. Come on, just
-
because the result come out this way doesn't mean your
-
wrown path. Just because you're serving in church and you
-
get disagreement you couldn't want with one brother, doesn't mean
-
that you're wrong path in terms of you about the mission,
-
about that mission because it's too hard not working. But
-
you never know what God is trying to do. He
-
wants to bring you deeper, work deeper so you can
-
exit right. I left the hospital after an over night stay,
-
and I told my wife this, I'm going to be
-
even more disciplined. I can be more and more discipline.
-
I got set things right. I'm superraying for America, but
-
I got to set things right because it's not just
-
about living fast or living And I could have left
-
the hospital frustrated. I'm telling you five years of eating
-
salary for breakfast, frustrated, I have to give up nail
-
amount friends for breakfast.
-
You think about it.
-
I put clary stick in front of you about who
-
wins nast amount, show me one samba and beat real
-
both riklos, about who weeds come out? Who weeds, of
-
course wins friends. As I close, I wanted the challenges
-
you right now. It is that don't abort the progress
-
that God has started just because you started well and
-
you find disagreement a bit. You started all right, just
-
because you got conflict a bit, we avoid God do
-
something deeper so that we can mature and let us
-
go on to perfection. First, if you understand about the
-
word perfection, it's not that you're starting off something of
-
perfection means you're you're doing minor tweaks, small little changes
-
to get it right, small.
-
Little changes to get it right.
-
One of the things I learned in Osaka was just
-
this that I've been reminded again that I have allowed
-
myself to come to a place whereby I cannot even
-
pick up a book to read because the film was
-
was more.
-
Addictive.
-
It's easier to look at pictures and videos than texts.
-
I've allowed myself. I begin to consume a different and
-
the Lord just begin to remind me, remind me. My
-
wife say, huh threty four, this step you cat pain udia,
-
Who so weak are you?
-
And what doesn't help? They have to see on the floor. Friends. First,
-
I sat on the floor in the Japanese Tami. Friends.
-
After thirty seconds, my lick cramp. You can all sit
-
on the floor, man, so easy. Ma, My wife does
-
stretching every other night, friends, so she's very flexible.
-
I don't do. She stretched my patience a bit.
-
That's that's all I can just say, right, I may
-
stretched on the other and the other aspect, okay. As
-
I close, friends close, and and she just reminds me
-
of gain. You got to walk properly, going on to
-
perfection like no time to go to the second point
-
with your just a deposit perfectionists tweaking the smaller details.
-
She said, you're not walking properly. That's why. That's why,
-
that's why you're having back aches. Your leg is in pain,
-
your master is in pain. You're walking with your head forward.
-
First.
-
I don't know about you guys, but you have your
-
life partner beside you every other time telling you that
-
stands straight, your your net, your years supposed to be
-
in linement with your shoulder right. Every once in a while,
-
she would just break my shoulder. Put it straight a bit.
-
Your shoulder is bending forward. Right. I want to eat.
-
I want to eat my parks. You say, make sure
-
the fact is not there. Okay, make sure the fact
-
is not there.
-
Right.
-
If we eat KFC with her first, please, if we
-
eat CAFC her you enjoy it. She'll take out the skin.
-
She put the skin aside to scrap up everything that's
-
yellow colored like looks at fat. She ordered rights. You
-
only take like two tablespoon and the rest you believe.
-
If fitting to the clicks as I close, friends, as
-
I close, I get to close right now, then many
-
times I could be angry.
-
Stop telling you what to do. I can walk. I'm
-
an adult because we can get the point in the
-
point beamer.
-
Just because you can get from point A to point
-
B doesn't mean we're walking right. Come on, just because
-
we're attentions we understand a bit about God doesn't mean
-
our theology, even our foundation is even right.
-
What how how does it get right? Is when we.
-
Allow ourselves to go through a process of discipleship or
-
hard the system, then we understand, Hey, maybe it can
-
go deeper if you, if you ask us as I close,
-
if you, if we were given a choice, we'll go like,
-
maybe maybe missions is not for me too hard? Six
-
hours car right to unknown place, go Indonesia. This is
-
why would they serve you?
-
You eat?
-
Sometimes it could be cold and you're so used to
-
hot food, different cuisine, not used to it.
-
Given the choice, you won't.
-
And it's like sometimes we live a Christian life like
-
how we and what we and we just want we
-
eat for lunch or this place is not good and
-
we don't do that.
-
Friends are close, don't do that? Allow God to work deeper.
-
Came back from the trip, friends, I just been reminded
-
again and again get the fundamentals correct, re learn how
-
to work again.
-
So I'm seeing a phaesio for my back. I am,
-
I am.
-
I had a very bad master pain, not because of
-
the trip for the longest time.
-
Already my wife.
-
Keep telling you, no matter how many phases you go
-
and see, it's the same problem I've been telling you.
-
You're not stretching in the morning. You're not stretching in
-
the evening. You're not walking properly. You're using your hit
-
to walk. They miss leaning forward when you're walking right.
-
You're not standing straight, carrying to haavy stuff. You can
-
lose some belly fat. Always a very good advice. But
-
if I will get angry, stop telling me what to do.
-
Don't don't don't tell me I can walk, I know
-
to eat. I'm all right. Come on, it's only one
-
roast chicken nanima once a week. It's only one piece
-
of serial onima every other day. It's like close friends.
-
When was the last time we are bought it? As
-
I asked extreme to come on the stage? When was
-
the last time you got so angry you exhibited right fast,
-
frustrated you bought the process? The Bible says, let us
-
leave the elementary discussion and go on to perfection perfections
-
about twocking, the the small tod details to get it right.
-
You're already doing it right, but it can we can
-
get better as a close friend. When was the last
-
time you'd be challenged, should be challenged? Go deeper, not
-
so much study the word deeper fast. There's too many Christians.
-
We study the words so deep threads. They're not willing
-
to help, not willing to serve, not willing to go.
-
When was the last time we said, God, would you
-
work in our hearts?
-
Some of you are frustrated with one another in church.
-
You are don't understand why these brothers like that, why
-
the sisters like that?
-
And we allow that to hijack us.
-
Come on, we allowed the frustration to hijack us, to
-
bring us to a place whereby we never got, never
-
want wanted us to go in the first place.
-
And this wanting the Lord want to set you free,
-
set you free.
-
So before I ask you to stand, we just take
-
the next day seconds really just to.
-
Be in the bathtup situation.
-
You can't go anywhere, but just allow yourself just to think,
-
how did I get here? How come I'm so easily triggered,
-
how come I'm so easily frustd?
-
How come I'm not excited for the things of God?
-
How come? Since where my Christian faith? Since where my
-
Christian faith.
-
It's shallow since where my Christian faith it's only Sunday.
-
God wants to move us out, move us out from
-
being comfortable to the uncomfortable. I got so many stories
-
to share with you all, but I don't want to
-
leave you with today the principles of living and living right.
-
Don't exit frustrated, don't get angry. Be like Abraham. Don't
-
be like Lot. Lot allow his hurtsman to guide him.
-
But Abraham said, look, unity is more important. You choose
-
the best of Lene. I'll choose the other side because
-
I know you have. You got this hurt man. They
-
might get angry. You choose and I'll go the other way.
-
Let's tand right now I want to close in prayer.
-
I want the other time not shure where you are
-
with your journey. But I want to encourage you. Really,
-
I rey want to encourage you. Want to go deeper
-
with a lot this year. Don't end the year, friends,
-
don't end this year. I'm only you, I know, But
-
don't end the year by just saying like no to this,
-
no to that. But with the things of God, with
-
the things of God, go deeper, Go deeper. If I'm
-
angry with someone in this church. Frustrated, maybe you don't
-
like the leadership of the church. Say God, would you
-
help me? Would you help me Lord, because I got
-
to overcome this, because it's not about the leadership or
-
not the people, but our hearts.
-
Amen.
