The Power Of Giving With Purpose | Pr. Julian

We hope this message will light up your tea.

I want to start off this morning by by telling

all of your story.

It's a real story that happened to me.

Okay, So before before I tell you this story, I

want to say that if all of you can just

listen without judgment.

So as we often say in my office, we listen,

we don't judge.

Yeah, we listen, we don't judge.

Defends I don't know that she is there. Yeah.

So this this happened to me more than ten years ago.

And uh, and you know it's it's kind of like

a funny story, but it sort of ties scene in

what I want to talk about today, okay, in regards

to giving, and so I want to say, you know,

listen and don't judge. Okay, So more than ten years ago.

I tried to check the date. Actually it was like

eleven or twelve years ago. I tried to check the

day last night. It was quite you know, it's true.

I it was in a time I was in ex church, right,

I think I was serving in a service plan called

x NILAI say, you know, actually lie back then we

only had two service plans, so cyber Jaya and Elai okay.

And then now there's many I think that's thirteen or

fourteen different plants that meet on a Sunday.

I exclaimed, it's one of them.

And I was on the worship team, okay, I was serving.

And usually for the worship team, when we give our

titan offering, we do it before the service starts because

you know, just now you saw the band up there,

you don't have a chance an opportunity to give offering.

So what happens is.

The host will come around before the service starts and

give an opportunity or collect offering from the people who

are on a bend.

Okay. So that Sunday was no different. I was serving.

You know, acting lives very far away. It's forty five

minutes drive from where I stay. And for some reason

that particular Sunday, like what's a feeling too good about giving?

Like I was just so I'm being open here, right,

we listen, we don't judge, And I was like, the

Bible tells me that I need to decide in my

heart the amount I want to give, right, the amount

I want to give. And and that Sunday the decision

I made in my heart was the number zero. The

number zero the amount I want to give. So so

I'm preaching up here. I'm a past there as well.

So yeah, if you listen, we don't judge. And I decided, okay,

I'm not going to give. You know, I don't know why.

I can't remember why, but I remember the story very clearly.

And then the holes comes around to all those having

you know, I already gave in terms of my time

being there on the band, and you know, all this

kind of thoughts went through my mind. And then and

then the host comes to me. I'm like, I'm good.

Someone last time.

Right, there's no there's no opportunity to give online, right,

so you put in cold hard cash line into the bag.

This is being recorded, we know.

Okay, So so so I'm I'm I let the back

pass me by uh and and I can't remember what

I said.

Okay.

Anyways, service went on, We did pre service prayer and

then and I went up to stage to to to serve.

On the band.

And then this host, right is the most efficient host

I've ever met. So he noticed that I didn't give,

and he he took the bag, walked up on stage,

walked up on stage. I'm standing here right and right.

He walked down on the stage and he and he puts.

The back in front of me, and I'm like.

I was, I was like a bit like like Parcela,

like what he did that? So so in that situation,

what I did was I opened my wallet, I took

out a note and I put it in I gave.

I remember the amount of it was fifty ring kit

maybe because only a fifteenen Gate knows that day last time,

I just started working every every ring gate is very

very very important to me. Could have been a man

where had to spend a lot of money, you know,

fixing my car. I don't know what but I did.

I just gave because the whole just did that, like

why why why did he do that? And so that's

the end of the story.

There's the end of the story. I don't have a.

Ending where like, oh then I gave and God blessed

me that son that week, then next weekend with ten

four that fifty ing gate. No, but that week I

remember the Holy Spirit teaching me something that you can

you can give. The action is the same, but there's

no power when there's a lack of purpose. Okay, So

I gave that Sunday out of compoulsion, out of out

of uh pressure, out of pressure. I gave that Sunday,

same action. Took the money, cost me a sacrifice, put

into the bag, gave that money.

But I did exactly what Paul told the Church of

Corina to do.

Don't give out a compulsion, not give out a pressure,

don't give grudgingly.

This hourst like what horse would do that? How did

he even know that?

I didn't give like I know the guys, I can't see.

He's facing my head. But no judgment. We listen, We

don't judge. But the Holy Sphere taught me, you know,

ten years ago that if you're doing something, it can

be giving, it can be serving, it can be giving

a gift, it can be saying words of encouragement. That

action needs to come with intent and purpose. Right, So

this morning, I want to talk about the power of

giving with purpose. The power of giving with purpose. Purpose

means intention, enthusiasm. As a lute, you decided this is

what I'm going to do. That's the power of giving

with purpose. Because purposeful giving pleas us God.

Purposeful giving pleas us God.

Okay, so let me give you a few more examples

of different types of actions. Okay, all of us here

this morning, we can walk, right, I think always have

the ability to walk. Walking is an action, right, we

do it every day. We do it without thinking. You know,

there's different types of walking, right, there's different types of walking.

So one kind of walking is they're kind of walking

that a lot of husbands are very very familiar with.

Is the kind of walking like you do in the

shopping mall. Well, wa, think for your for your wife

who's in Zarah shopping. Wait, think for we think for

your spouse. Okay, you think for her spouse shopping and

then the spouse just it's like wandering around the mall,

wandering window windows, shopping, walking without purpose, just you know,

looking for something to fill up their time.

And it's walking, right.

But that's the other kind of walking, which is for

me is the most important walk, which is the walk

that the bride takes walking on the owl right. So

if you have been married, and the bride usually starts

at the back of the hall and they walk down

this church owl right with the dad on one side.

So that walk is like it's like a walk of purpose.

Right, I'm walking towards my destiny, my groom, my husband

which I'm going to be married to. Determination, that's purpose

in that walk. It's not that wondering everywhere, like looking

how to feel my time that walk in it could

be like thirty seconds on you did the song place Right,

that walk with purpose is so meaningful because that's the

beginning of a marriage, right, that will start. Uh.

The other the other thing is the action of planting. Right.

So we use this a lot. The Bible uses planting

and farmers a lot. The action of planting a seed

can also be very different. Right, So, if you don't

know any better, you take a tomato seed.

I think they grow tomatoes from seeds, right.

Yes, and you're plant it into you put into a soil,

and the soil is you know, very like, uh, very dry,

non fertile, very I don't know, compact, not conducy for

a seed to grow versus putting a seed into a

soil that is fertile, ready for a plant to receive it,

ready for seat to receive it, the results will be

very different, right, same action I'm sacrificing the same amount

one seed put into the soil, different results. Okay, because

purposeful giving pleases God. I mean God is pleased he causes, causes, multiplication, fruitfulness.

Yeah.

The other story we can we wish we were going

to today a lot is the story of Cain and Able.

So Kin and Abel is in Genesis chapter four. Elder

Roles did speak about this in the first week of

the of this month, and that's a very stark comparison

of how two different people offered and offering to God

with very different results of how God responded. For Cain,

his offering was not accepted. God did not respect that offering.

For Able, God received and found pleasure and offering. So

why why Because there's power on the gift in purpose. Okay,

So I know I'm sort of preaching to the choir

this morning, where you guys have heard many messages about giving,

and you're convenienced to give, and you have been giving ready.

But what I want to say today is when you give,

it can be next weekend. There's a chance to give.

Give it purpose, give it in tenth, give it a

resolute of why you're doing it, give it faith.

Then there'll be power.

Ken all right, So we'll do two main scriptures, one

from the New Testament of the Old Testament. We'll look

at Second Corinthians chapter nine first. Okay, we use this

verse a lot before Titan offering. Second Corinthians chapter eighth.

Chapter nine is Paul writing to the church in Corinth

a lot about giving, Okay.

And.

Let's just use this to sort of upset context to

what we're trying to study this morning.

So Paul is writing to the Church of Corinth.

And I've took out some of the earlier versus because

I want to just feel into one slide. But verse

five he read this, so so Paul says this, So

I thought I should send these brothers ahead of me

to make sure the gift you promised is ready, Okay,

But I wanted to be a willing gift, not one

given gradually. So this church in Corinth, right, it is

a church imagine somewhere far awa, Okay. And Paul has

heard testimonies he planted this church. He has heard testimonies

of how this church is very generous. So it can

be like, oh, I know Vincent back there, he's very

far away from me. He's very generous, Like he's already

prepared to give one year and advantrey he I don't

know why the wife is loving but really so generous.

You know, he's got a testimony, a track record of

being very generous. But get this, Paul still wants to

remind the church in Corinth. Want to remind Vincent that, yes,

you are generous, you will give. But I want to

give you more guidelines that when you give, you are ready,

you give it purpose. Right, so, but I want it

to be a willing gift, not one given grudgingly. So

don't do what I did ten years ago. Right, remember this.

A farmer who plants only a few seats will get

a small crop, but the one who plants generously will

get a generous crop. Verse seven. You must each decide

in your own heart. You decide, You decide. You know

in your own heart how much to give, and don't

give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves

a person who gives cheerfully. Okay, so we all are

ready to give. I hope, I trust. But just like

the church in Corinth, I want to say that we

need to be we need to be giving with purpose. Okay, right,

I'll give you two more scriptures very quickly. Matthew Chapter fifteen,

Verse eight, and this one really has been getting to

me a lot in the last couple of weeks. Matthew fifteen,

verse eight. This is Jesus quoting scripture talking about the Pharisees.

So like, Pharisees are leaders, are back in the day. Ah,

So it's not about giving. But the context is this day,

the Pharisees were doing a lot of actions and trying

to show that they're obeying the commands, the Mosaic commandments, right,

and Jesus said this, quoting the Book of Isaiah. These

people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are

far from me. They honor me with their lips, but

their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain.

Their teachings are merely human rules. We say that giving

the time of worship. When we give, it's a form

of worship. Right, So we don't want our form of worship.

To be in vain.

Right, We need to make sure that we honor God

God with that.

Action and also with our hearts. Okay.

Next second Timothy Tree us five.

So this is again Paul warning the.

Church and wanting Timothy of people that have a form

of godliness but denying its power. So once again, how

do we give with purpose and with power? Purposeful giving

pleas us God. Purposeful giving pleases God, and therefore purposeless

giving is pointless. Purposeful giving pleases God. A giving that

is purposeless or without intent or just the action is pointless.

So I'm gonna just quickly cover three points this morning

of how do we give with purpose? How do we

give with purpose? Before that, let's read Genesis chapter four,

Genesis chapter four. So Genesis chapter four is after Genesis

chapter three and after two and one, right, So one,

so context, this happened really early in the creation of man,

So I'm I'm like, some points of this really kind

of shocked me. But so one and two the creation

of the world, you know, God created human being speed

to the whole earth. And Genesis tree is the fall

of man when sin came to the earth. And Genesis

chapter four is when Adam and Eve had their first children,

which is kin and then able, right, And it's kind

of sad that even at that early days there was

really like murder and jealousy and coveteousness. So that's how

sinful we are as humans. And and I want to

start that way because I'm saying that I'm not perfect,

Like all these words that I'm speaking now are also

things that I'm trying to get right in my own life, right,

and to be consistent with how I walk my walk

with God. And there's no judgment this morning, right, So

we learn together, there's no condemnation, and we listen and

we don't judge. Okay, So so let's read this very

stark comparison of two different ways of giving in Genesis,

for starting from verse two. When they grew up, Abel

became a shepherd while Cain cultivated the ground. When it

was time for the harvest, Cain presented some of his

crops as a gift to the Lord. Right, so he

brought some crops as an offering. Abel also brought a gift,

and he says, you're the best portions of the first

born lambs from his flock. The Lord accepted Abel and

his gift, but he did not accept Kane and his gift.

This made Cain very angry and he looked dejected. So

we'll dive deeper into this story because as a comparison,

and remember I said, O will help us this morning

by framing how we can give with and purpose with

three points. And the first point is this. The first

point is this word first first point is first. Okay,

So if you look at look again at Genesis chapter four,

we see that one of the main difference between how

Cain and Abel gave is that Abel gave the best part.

Some translation uses the word fat animals fat and also

firstborn firstborn.

Okay, So if you remember what other.

Roles said, if you have a flock of sheep, so

imagine all of us, yeah sheep, right, that's eighty or

fifty people, Yeah, all of us, yeah sheep. And how

do I know, like who's the firstborn jayden' no no, no, no, no,

the oldest, right, the first one? How do I know

the firstbone? When especially if like all the sheep look

very similar, you know, and you know someone that were

born like one or two years ago, because he has

a flock, it says that's a flock, right, first born

lambs from his flock. Uh. And even there's the word

best portions there as well, best portions. So there would

have been a great deal of preparation on Able's part

to make sure that God, I want to do my

best in giving to you and offering and maybe like

one or two years earlier. I've already indicated in this

whole flock of sheep, I have marked who's the first bond,

because giving God what's first is important to God. God

wants our heart first, he wants our best, and that's

the first born. Okay, So he would have taught early

way in advance. I'm going to offer God an offering

in this time, and I want to make sure that

when I do, this offering will be one that pleases God,

and it will be one that is the firstborn.

Okay.

So so imagine that with me, there's a lot of preparation,

prioritization of his actions. It's not like God, I got

a flock of sheep, Take the nearest one or the

weakest one, so easier to catch, bring it to the

offering and offer right. Right, if you look at what

Able did, maybe can go to the previous verse the okay,

look at what Able did when it was time for

the harvest. When it was time for the harvest, Cain

presented some of his crops. As it gives the lot.

So I mean, I'm trying to bring it to context

to what we do now. So you know, some some

companies pay out bonus in December January.

I think maybe now it's harvest time for a lot

of us.

Bonus means money, right, a crop April, okay.

So yours after yours, after after anniversary giving.

And I think I was using this to also check

my own heart, like, okay, it's time for harvest, means

there's plentiful, means our bank accounts might look a little bit.

Bigger or a lot bigger for some throughout the year.

And what Kane did was time for harvest, presented some

of his crops. As it gives you the lot, It's

sounds a bit convenient. I mean, I really a bit

into the scripture, a bit of imagination, but I imagine

he had a two bond full of grain and corn

and wheat, and out of that abundance he took some

and offered it to God. So we got to be careful,

same action giving something that I put worked into. Both

of them probably took care of their either their crop

or their animals. They sold, They invested, it, had blood,

sweat and tears into taking care of that particular thing.

It's not about that thing that we offer. It's not

about a gift that we give God. Not the money

or the talents that we have, or the energy or time.

God didn't say that. God didn't give a preference to

like anymost the state of veggies or crops, right, But

it's the heart. It's the heart.

Okay.

So some questions we can ask ourselves. Imagine if you

have a list, a list right of what takes most

priority when it comes to using your resources. Imagine you

have at least I don't know whether you have at

least maybe maybe some of you those very planning.

Typewriter you have felicity. Okay, I'm a planner.

The moment my salary comes in this month, I've got

a list of where it goes to. Right, And I'm

not just talking about money. I'm talking about how we

spent our resources. It can be energy, time, mind space. Uh,

I mean money is one of the biggest things that

we have at resources. So if you have that list,

what takes first priority when it comes to using a resources?

I'm just asking questions. Okay, how are we prioritizing our giving?

Is it something that is priority and important to us?

Do we plan, pray, think about the intent when we give,

or is it enoughter thought? By the way, we see

this very true with like like last minute invitesla if

you're getting married or you're planning a wedding right, Like,

I don't know.

It's an insider thing.

I always get this impression like, oh, man, if the

if the wedding invitation comes to me, I'm not saying

this to anyone again, I'm just I'm like, looking here,

if the wedding imitation comes to me two weeks before

the wedding means like, oh, maybe I'm the on the

B list. I'm on the on the B list is

right there, stand the stand by list. It's like all

the all the A list people right get the invites first,

you know, two months in advance, because because the bride

and groom want this list of people to be there,

and then some of them saying I cannot make it,

I'm not going to holiday, and then they have the

B list.

The billists are the feelers are like you just just

come on.

I know.

So yeah, I mean that is an impression that we have,

like if if it's not first on the list, it

feels like an afterthought. If it's like last minute or

you know, then it's not very meaningful.

Uh.

Some Sometimes you know, as a leader or I used

to to coordinate a lot of the different events in

church in terms of like big events. So so I

learned over the years that when you're planning for a

team or a band, right, that is very important to

try and send out invitations to serve as early as possible,

because the later you do it, it becomes more like

an afterthought, like, Hey, this guy, I really appreciate my

gifts to be on a team and not He asked

like three other people before he got to me.

Then I'm like, the last resort, you know, So.

If we have a list, where does how does giving

fall into that list?

That's all That's what I'm asking right.

Uh. The last last month was Ellie's birthday John John

and Ellie John starts but dad is man forty one

and uh uh and so so Laura wanted to plan

a lunch for Ellie, right and then he then she

she asked me. She asked me, like, hey, what do

you think where should we bring Ellie for lunch on

her birthday? They're like, just ask Ellie, right, just ask Ellie,

like she'll know what she wants.

Right.

Then she looked at me with like the worst kind

of look a wife could give.

Her husband.

Uh like like I said a really bad word or

something to her, because like, how can you you want

to bring someone else for lunch? You gotta you got

to plan something that's that's like, that's thought you put

because it's not about the lunch. It's not about the

gift that it gives someone their birthday. It's about a

thought behind It's like, hey, I remember that John's thanning

forty one in a week's time. I'm gonna think about

what John wants, you know, and give it to him,

because h if you pass asked John, Joey you want

for the one birthday, it's gonna say like an Apple

watch or some you know. But the beauty in giving,

the beauty in giving is actually the.

Thought and the heart behind it.

It's like, oh, this person thought about what I want,

or this person knows that I like Indian food, so

so they brought me to this like really nice Indian place,

and you know, make sure that they paid for the

meal and don't split the bill if they're you know,

bringing out of your birthday. But that's the beauty of giving,

right so so so have that kind of perspective and

posture when we give right next can be next week

or in a weeks to come, because purposeful giving pleas

us God. Okay, right, One more thing I want to

say about this is, you know we talk about the list, right,

It's not it's not like God wants this.

This is how I feel God speaking to me about this.

It's not like God wants to take all that we

have right can be our salary.

He wants to be number one. Give everything to God.

Because again, if you look at scripture, Abel has a

flock of sheep. He did not say that I give

my whole flock as an offering to God.

Right.

But what he did is he put thought, preparation and

priority to giving in selecting the first bone and the

first bond and the best portions. That's what he did.

So Scripture says, decide in your own heart how much

you want to give. You decide if the Holy Spirit

gives an amount given faith right. Second Quarrenthine chapter eight.

We didn't, we wouldn't be going through this. But it

also says this give in proportion to what you have.

Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly.

Here is whatever you give is acceptable if you give

it eagerly. Second Corinthians. It was to go look at

it and give according to what you have, not what

you don't have. So don't take out your credit card

and like I'm gonna give it on credit man, I'll

pay it in the next couple of months. Give according

to what you have. It's not about the amounts but

the heart. So point number one, how do we give it?

Purpose?

Within ten with power. The first point is first prioritizing preparation.

We have one week to prepare.

For an inverstry giving. Okay.

Second point is to give in power, is to give

with faith, to give with power, to give in faith.

So this is the position that we hold when we

give right. We looked at two scriptures verse Hebrews eleven four,

so the same scenario of Abel and Caine.

This story was then.

Again repeated in the Book of Hebrews, Chapter eleven. Hebrews

eleven is the very famous book of chapter talking about

faith right. So we see their names come up as

the first story being quoted of testimonies or heroes of

faith right, and Hebrews eleven, verse four stays this by

faith Able.

Brought God a better offering than Cain did.

So one of the differentiating factors of how they gave

with purpose or just give out of grudgingness, or you know,

pressure able gave by faith.

What is faith? What is faith?

Hebrews eleven one defines faith. Now, faith is a substance

of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Right,

So it's really about trusting God in our giving, trusting

God in our giving. And I want to use faith

as a way to say that when we give, it's

not it's not a ritual or religion like giving to

do my duty, right, but it's relational. It's relationship because

faith that giving can only come from.

A relationship with God. Okay.

In scripture it says without faith, it's impossible to please God.

So God is pleased by our faith, and faith comes

by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

So so we have faith on we gave when we

know who.

We are giving to and we know the word of

God when we trust God. Okay, So it's relational instead

of ritual. If it's not relational, right, then you'll be

very transactional or contractual.

Right.

So I've got a contract with God. I'm gonna give

him this amount He's going to give me that amount.

We see these kind of relationships when you have like

a client or consultant kind of scenario.

Right, why do we sign contracts.

Because we don't trust the other party. We don't trust

that the other party will fulfill what they said they

will do. And if they don't fulfill, I have a

back and white document that can take you to court

to demand that you fulfill your contractual requirements. That's why

we sign contracts. We don't sign contracts with God. When

we give, we give him faith. So when we want

to give in power and purpose, we need to give

in faith.

Right.

I have a story which I won't go into. I

think it will take too long, but I want to

sort of say this about about my own experience being

a dad. Okay, So, so like my my connection with

my kids are relational, all right, I don't have a

contract with them.

Right.

My kids are too young to earn money on their own. Okay,

So so they they knd hardly give me cold heart

cash or they never right, But it's fine, I mean

they're that age.

But but they have different gifts.

Like Levi, my oldest son, he has a gift of

like drawing and doing art and stuff. So when it's

my birthday or even different times, he will like draw

me and artwork and give it to me, and it's

it's relational, like I'm so happy when I received that

from my son. Right, And I don't have a contract

with him to say, every time it's my birthday, you

draw me a nice piece of art and I'll be

obliged to put it on the fridge with a magnet.

Right.

It comes from an overflow of adoration that I have

this relationship with my dad and I have this faith

and trust in him to be the carethici of the family.

He loves me.

I adore him, He adores me, and I want to

give out of that abundance from my gifts. And I

think that's how we give to God. Right, So it

can be in a season where is a season of harvest,

that's abundance. I think most of us here can be

put in the category of we are not in poverty,

we are not worried about when the next meal is

going to come.

Therefore, our giving.

In faith is that relational giving is an overflow of God.

I love you, I have faith in you. I want

to adore you and put you first with these gift

I'm giving to you. Or it can be in a

season where there's lack, where I don't have enough. I

think Jason shed from that this lady who didn't have

enough still had to give to this prophet Elijah, right,

or the lady with the two mights give for all

into the bag. That's giving in faith, also knowing that

God will.

Meet my needs. God will provide. Right.

So number one, we prioritize our giving and putting God first.

Number two, how to give it purpose and power? We

give in faith.

And number three, we give with purpose and power when

we give with the perspective of fruit.

So this question is.

Like what is our outlook when we give, because it

can be Oh, it can be like this, like God,

I got this much, so I will.

I will give you our sacrifice this amount to you.

You know I've got one thousand ring gate, I will

give you two hundred ringate. That's a lot I'm giving

away into the bag. But rather I want to say

that the perspective and we give should be one of investing,

one of planting, one of knowing that what you're doing,

this action will have fruit in the days to come. Okay,

So we can use the word investment. I think we

use the word investment hereler, because the Bible uses this

a lot. How a farmer plants a seed knowing that

there will be a crop to come and there will

be a harvest. Right, So let's let's go back to

Second Corinthine chapter nine versus five to seven or six

to seven, Second Cornthine, chapter nine, remember this earlier. A

farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a

small crop.

Right.

So again, giving is not sacrificing. I mean, it is sacrificing,

but it's not just that. It's like a farmer who

plants a seed, and regardless whether you plant a little

bit of seed or a lot of seed, you still

get a crop. So it's okay. Don't read I think,

don't read the little bit of seed as a negative thing. Well, right,

so it's fine. But the one who plants generally will

get a generous crop.

Okay.

Investing, you must each decide your own heart how much

you want to give. Don't give reluctantly or in response

to pressure, for God loves a person who gives cheerfully, okay,

And God will generously provide all you need. That's fruit.

There's multiplication then you will always have everything you need

and plenty left over to share with others. Let's go further.

Verse ten. Verse Tien says this four. God is the

one who provides seed for the farmer and then break

to eat. In the same way, he will provide and

increase your resources and then produce it harvests of generosity

in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way

so that you can always be generous. And when we

take your gifts to those who need them, they will

thank God. So I want to say, you know what

this last part here, as I end, I've seen God,

and I can testify in my own life how as I've.

Been faithful in giving to Him.

Not not like how I give more than ten years ago, right,

just that empty action of giving, but giving it purpose

and intent.

I've seen God really do all this in my life. Right.

He will provide and increase your resources. So no, it

doesn't just stop there, It doesn't just stop at He

will provide and increase the resources because and then produce

a great harvest of generalsity in you. So when we give,

we want to expect a fruit. We're going to expect results.

Were going to expect God to use this investment that

I do to bless many lives, and in turn it

will produce a great harvest of generosity. So I can

testify that throughout the years, and especially over the last

few years, I've seen God just grown my ability to

be generous in a sense where when I know that

a need comes up, I'm gonna say, I'm going to

give you. Know.

I mean, I wouldn't like announce it to the world, right,

but I now.

Have this ability to be generous with what I have,

And it's really true, so that you can always be

generous and when we take your gifts to those who

need them, so there will be a time where other

people has more needs than me, and that it's my

turn to be more generous. Maybe five years from now,

I may be the one in need, and I pray

that God will send someone else to be generous to

me as well. Right, So that's the outlook that we have,

and we give, right, we give knowing that there will

be a fruit. I'm like a farmer planting, seeing that

this is not just a sacrifice on my end, but

it will produce fruit and cause me to be generous

so that many will be blessed.

Okay, so don't call a band. They're gonna call it.

Band up and and today. Really, the point is this,

when we give it purpose, when we give it in

ten and we give it faith, God is please, and

we will see results.

There will be a multiplication. Right, How do we do that?

We put God first, We plan, we pray, we prioritize,

we prepare, our give. It's not an afterthought. It's not

like five seconds before the bank comes, Oh what do

I do? We still have time If next Sunday is

an opportunity to give for all of us, it's a

chance to give. We've got time to plan for it.

Ask God. We've got time to decide in our hearts

the amount that I want to give, the amount that

will come out of faith. You know, faith amounts also

your faith, Your faith also will dictate that amount that

you give. Right, So I don't gonna give anyone a number. Right,

or giving can also be more than just monetary itsms

like can be the gift that we have. You know,

an next claim we have more than eighty percent of

our church that serves in any different way.

And that's really a good.

Testimony of how we are not letting our talent be

planted in the ground. But we're investing our talent in faith,

in giving to God. And lastly, we give in power

when we expect fruit. When we know that we're investing

giving to God, I know that will increase, there will

a multiplication, there will be lives touch when we give

in you know, any of us. Three we're giving actually

to missions. So we are giving to people who are

out in the field. We're giving to church plants who

are could be away or far away from us. We

are giving to missionaries who have been investing into life.

So that that is the perspective that we have. Am

using my resources to bless someone who's going to bless

my all lives. And sometimes you don't see all the

fruit right now, we don't see the testimonies. But one day,

one day, when it's all being revealed, it's all being revealed.

I believe in and see all our different fruits everywhere everywhere.

When you when you invest people in different countries or

lives or families, that will be blessed. So if you

all stand this morning, let's just close this time in

surrendering to God.
