You're listening to a message to go from axt church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
I want to just quickly share with us, and the
-
topic today is activate your faith.
-
Amen.
-
We're all full of men and women of faith here,
-
So continue to activate your faith. If you're already activated it.
-
If you haven't come on activated all right, it's like
-
a car. You need to turn on the ignition, right.
-
So activate your faith and live out your purpose. Because
-
God has a beautiful purpose for all of us, not
-
just one time, but for every season.
-
Of your life. There is purpose in you. Amen.
-
And I say season is not two days, and season
-
is not five months, season is a few years.
-
Season could be doing different things. But at every.
-
Stage of your life, you're always gonna be glowing, blooming,
-
being involved in the Kingdom of God.
-
Amen.
-
See, God always employs us. The world will not employ you,
-
will ask you to retire, but Jesus you refire. Amen,
-
No retirement in Jesus. You serve the Lord all the
-
way until you meet Jesus.
-
Amen.
-
Could be preaching and then you know that's it, bye bye,
-
or you're gonna be serving and then you go. But
-
we have a purpose and we want to leave that
-
purpose out.
-
Amen.
-
All right, So I bring a little I didn't bring
-
the real thing. Love, I knew my picture will show you.
-
I just simply I just want to use this illustration.
-
I near of you like cup noodles. Hey, that's my favorite.
-
I know I'm very close to sixteen. I'm still eating
-
cup noodles. You know they're all scolding me, passa, don't
-
eat cupnoodles.
-
Not good for you. Okay.
-
I met I as a child, my mom would never
-
let me eat. When I got married, met my husband
-
cut noodles. And that's thirty years thirty years married. Right,
-
So I have this, And I watched pasta Matthew's son Nathan.
-
When he eats cup noodles, it tastes, so he makes
-
it taste so good. Right, I look at him, and
-
I really need to have a cup noodle.
-
All right.
-
So there are people here say please, don't touch it,
-
it's not good. Okay, whatever, right, but it is something
-
that most of us will we'll go to maybe hungry.
-
You want a little snack, Okay. I love the ones
-
from Japan. It's fabulous. Get these little tiny ones right,
-
just so tasty.
-
You know what is they still Okay?
-
Anyway, the cup noodle, and I'm taking this a little
-
inspiration from here.
-
Don't stont me because I'm talking about cup noodles.
-
All right, What is the potential of this plain cup noodle?
-
Come on, guys, what's the potential?
-
Delicious? Amen, delicious, much more. Yeah.
-
So when we look at the cup noodle, it's contained
-
in a cup, a well, a cup that can take,
-
you know, carry this dry doodle. It's dry, it's what
-
you call it hydrated, is dehydrated, dehydrated noodles. And it
-
sits there and he has a little packet of seasoning
-
and whatever. There's the base of your soup base. So
-
that we put it in and then this this cup
-
carries this dry noodle and and then you use hot
-
water right to fill it.
-
And then boom you get a nice noodle. All right,
-
you're ready to go for it? Okay? And I think
-
it's it's it's quite a fun food line. It's not.
-
It's not healthy food forever. But whenever you need a
-
little you know, a bit hungry, okay, go for a
-
cup noodle. Then let's mela, what is the potential of
-
this plain cup noodle? Well, you know it's designed and
-
packed for a purpose, all right. It's designed and packed
-
for a purpose, and that purpose is to fill us,
-
all right. But I'm just using the cup noodle to
-
bring a little an illustration and maybe to help us
-
align a little bit. Sometimes if the cup, if the
-
noodle remains dry in the cup, the cup also was
-
made for purpose or holding it and cannot be cannot
-
be hot, right, it has to be able to help
-
us hold it without burning our fingers. And then the
-
dry noodle and it's supposed to be able to hydrate again.
-
And you know all the soup, the powder or the
-
seasoning will create the soup. So there is such potential
-
by itself already is quite so doubler, quite good, right,
-
it tastes good, But then you think about it.
-
Oh we could add an egg. Oh we could add
-
some vegetables.
-
We could add some ham in it, okay, or some
-
bronze in it.
-
Yeah, and then it becomes a comet noodle. All right.
-
It's like fabulous, not just plain anymore. There is great
-
potential with a plain cup noodle. Okay, can you imagine
-
your lives? Aw as he's already is wonderful, as he's
-
already is wonderful. Right, Sometimes we sit there hen we
-
don't feel very activated.
-
All right.
-
Just me, I'm just a mom, I'm just a student,
-
I'm just an accountant.
-
I'm just No. We cannot remain in that. Just in that.
-
And if you're feeling dry, come out. Whoa.
-
No, cannot can be dry, cannot be dehydrated.
-
Okay, you can't. You gotta be hydrated again. Amen.
-
And so I thought about this, and I wanted to
-
say to us, the hot water brings the noodles back
-
to life. I feel like sometimes the hot water represents
-
like the Holy Spirit. Alright, there's the fire, it's heat,
-
and it brings us alive when we're all but malayuing
-
all right, like you know, painting.
-
Away or feeling hired.
-
All right, and we need some hot water. And there's this,
-
you know, the soup base.
-
It add on to it. Whoa a life whoa? And
-
then okay, lo can doula can do.
-
But then as you walk along, we say, maybe we
-
can add some of those eggs and that veggie and the.
-
Meat, and it becomes something else.
-
It serves its purpose. The people who eat it are happy.
-
Now our lives are like that too, we can come
-
as a well, we're hydrated, but something else can be
-
placed more into our lives. We can dig deeper and
-
we get built up. Amen, But how do we get
-
through this?
-
Right?
-
So I know, I just want you to remember my message.
-
So you remember cup noodles? What did she say about
-
cup noodle? All right, there is the cup. There's a
-
purpose to hold the noodle. The noodle is dry, and
-
the noodle is dry, it is dehydrated, right, and then
-
what do you do with it? Well, we put in
-
the soup seasoning and then we fill it with hot water,
-
and then it comes alive.
-
And our lives could be like that.
-
We need to activate our faith because then whoa we
-
see the Holy Spirit walking and moving in our myths.
-
And that picture I'm bringing us is to look at
-
Gideon's life. Gideon in the Book of Judges, Gideon had
-
a call in his life. He was one of the
-
judges in the Bible before there was a king, before
-
they had a king. This was after Joshua, a warrior,
-
the one who led the people across the Jordan River
-
into the Promised Land. And after he lived one hundred
-
and ten years he died it And then you know,
-
other judges rose up because the children is real, very
-
very naughty. They would say, yes, I'm committed to you,
-
and then they would fall away from the Lord, and
-
then they get messed up, and then they cry out again,
-
oh help us Jesus, and help us the Lord, and
-
the Lord will send help. And so he would raise
-
different judges. And Gideon is one of those judges, all right.
-
And so Gideon's call and I wonder, though sometimes we
-
are we feel a bit like a Gideon.
-
Where was his call? Well?
-
I wrote, there is his call? And God called him?
-
Was the save Israel from the enemy. And that enemy
-
at that time were the media nights? All right, So
-
we look at Judges, chapter six and verse eleven to eighteen.
-
Okay, let's look at Judges.
-
If you have your Bibles, you can turn to the
-
Book of Judges and chapter six. Many of you know
-
the story Gideon. Yes, okay, still remember cup noodles. Okay,
-
still remember cup noodles. When you think cup noodles, think Gideon.
-
All right, all right, just just have you wake up
-
again and think about lunch and see maybe you'll have
-
cup noodles later. Yeah, So what is playing? What seems
-
to think I can't do much. You know, when you
-
add the Holy Spirit, something kaboom happens. All right, So Gideon,
-
Gideon in Judges six, if you look at verse eleven
-
and you follow through with me, he says, yeah. Now
-
the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the
-
terribin tree which was in Oprah, which belonged to Josh
-
the abbey's right, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in
-
the wine press. He treshed wheat in the wine press
-
in order to hide it from the Midy nights. And
-
the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said,
-
the Lord is.
-
With you, you mighty man of valor.
-
Whoa Kideon said to him, Oh, my lord, if the
-
Lord is with us, start to complain that, you know,
-
he didn't even say hello.
-
Are you like the head I come and say hello,
-
liness your pastor? Did you see okay? You see what
-
passes even need?
-
Okay, Oh, my Lord, if the Lord is with us,
-
why then has all oh this happened?
-
Why the Midia nights after us away?
-
Are all his miracles which our fathers told us about, saying,
-
did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? But
-
now the Lord has forsaken us, and he's delivered us
-
into the hands of the Midia Nights. And verse fourteen,
-
the Lord turned to Gideon and said, go in this
-
might of yours and you you shall save Israel from
-
the hand of the Midda Nights.
-
Have I not sent you? Wha do we? It is? Okay?
-
Gideon knew that he was said, But Gideon saim, girla bah,
-
what right, gaelabah? Okay, be confused?
-
What have I not sent you? Verse fifteen. So Gideon
-
said to the Angel of the Lord, Oh, my Lord,
-
how can.
-
I save Israel?
-
Indeed, my clan is the weakst in manassee, and I
-
am the least in my father this house.
-
Doesn't it sound familiar? Line as can you please help?
-
Serv No, can't play guitar? Okay?
-
And the Lord said to him, surely I will be
-
with you, and you shall defeat the Midien Nights as
-
one man. Imagine that God is saying, I'm gonna use you,
-
and you are gonna defeat the Midien Nights as one man, as.
-
If like you're you're the one's gonna lead this.
-
And then verse seventeen. Then Gideon said, if now I
-
have found favor in your sight. Then show me a sign.
-
How many of you keep asking God for a sign?
-
Okay?
-
Keep this boy asked for many signs, many and I'm
-
not even gonna go through those signs, right, And that's
-
not the way to live by faith? Right, he says,
-
show me a sign that it is you who talked
-
to me with me Verse eighteen.
-
Do not depart from here.
-
I pray until I come to you and bring out
-
my offering and said it before you, and the Angel
-
of the Lord said, I will wait until you come back.
-
Amen.
-
The read day of God's worth just a short passage,
-
so as I read it, and if you're reading it,
-
then you catch it. But if you're not, because sometimes
-
we're all distracted on our handphones and checking our igs,
-
so you're not listening.
-
So you need to listen to me this morning, all right.
-
Put your handphones down there, so I carry a printed Bible.
-
We're still with her by your own bible, campaign right,
-
and take notes down that you remember the message, and
-
then God will work on your behalf because you're listening,
-
all right. Come on, church, are we celebrating Jesus? Yes,
-
God is good to you. Come on, all right. Kidian's
-
call Gideon in the In Israel, they were being attacked
-
by the media nights. So Gideon goes into a wine press.
-
It's like this, I call it a bucket or whatever. Okay,
-
you to climb in, and you gotta go in, and
-
people wine press by pressing, by stepping on the grape,
-
on the grapes.
-
I'm gonna move around. You have to watch the camera. Grapes,
-
all right, and people do that for grapes.
-
But what is Gideon doing threshing wait in the wine press.
-
It's very different. You don't thrash wheat on the wine press.
-
You thresh it outside on the field.
-
But then he was scared.
-
He was going through a moment of I am in fear.
-
I don't want to Midianize to come and steal my wheat.
-
I don't want to be attacked. I'm gonna hide in
-
the wine press and I'm going to thresh wheat. People
-
press wine or grapes in the wine press.
-
He was hiding. And yet look at how the Lord
-
speaks to him.
-
Hello, Gideon, you are a man of mighty valor.
-
I don't know if you heard it. You are a
-
mighty man of valor. Really, all right?
-
And that's what he was, the Angel of the Lord.
-
When you see the capital Angel of the Lord, it
-
means that it is the Lord himself who came to
-
speak to Gideon. Right, and so my the slide says,
-
the Angel of the Lord called, and the Lord is
-
with you. Someone say, the Lord is with you, and
-
you you mighty.
-
Man of valor. Amen.
-
So I'm moving on to this. The Lord gave Gideon
-
an assurance. Now you can read the whole chapter and
-
you'll find that Gideon had a lot of Please show
-
me this, Please show me a sign. Please show me
-
a sign. And may not be the way we talk
-
to God. Okay, okay, one sign. Just asked for three signs.
-
Are you all right? So so he the Lord came.
-
He came to you.
-
You know, it's like the Lord coming to you and
-
giving you an assignment. Everybody here say, I have an assignment.
-
Oh you don't look you believe me. Come out here.
-
I have an assignment and it's not your engineering.
-
Okay, all right, we all haven't been assigned by the Lord. Yeah,
-
to carry the good news.
-
Amen.
-
If you are a believer or follow of Christ, you
-
have an assignment that is to carry the word of God,
-
to carry his love, to carry his kindness, to carry
-
his generosity. You have an assignment, amen, And the Lord
-
had one for Gideon. Some of the Lord gave assurance
-
to Gideon, and he says, I'll pick up three things
-
for you, just to give us a base. The Lord
-
assured Gideon that I am sending you. Okay, it's not
-
Mohammed is sending you. You know, Argentina is sending you,
-
you know, things helping. He said, no, I the Lord
-
I'm sending you. I'm sending you out to defeat the enemy.
-
Number two, the Lord said, I will be with you.
-
I am with you, says the Lord. If you read
-
the verses, we read it right.
-
The Lord says, I am with you. How much more?
-
How much more assurance do you need? The Lord says,
-
I'm with you.
-
And thirdly, the Lord gave the promise that he will
-
defeat the Media Knights. That means as a done deal,
-
it's done already.
-
Huh what they are a huge army.
-
But the Lord said, no, you will defeat the Midian
-
Knights as if of one man. And in that story
-
you know that he brought ten thousand and then Sunday
-
they only worked it how many three hundred you watched
-
the movie three hundred that's where they stold the story
-
from there, all right, three hundred, three hundred, only three
-
hundred men defeated the.
-
Enemy the Midia Knights. Come on, George, the Lord gives
-
the gave Gideon that assurance. Number one? What did Lord say,
-
I send you? So he's being sent, he's.
-
Employed, he's got a he's got a command already given
-
to him. And then his commanding officer, the Angel of
-
the Lord said, I am sending you. Number two, the
-
Lord said, I will be with you. And number three
-
the promise is you will defeat the Media Knights.
-
Amen. So I want to bring this to you.
-
What has God called you to do in this present time,
-
in this season while you are twelve years old, you
-
are twenty years old, or you are thirty five, or
-
you are sixty or what has the lot called.
-
You to do? All right? What? God? What? What was?
-
What has sorry typing?
-
What has God called you to do in this present
-
time or season?
-
What has all? Right? Now? What's shot form? I'm from Indonesia?
-
Shot form? Everything? Okay? All right? What all right?
-
What has God called you to do in this present season?
-
Do we find ourselves. And I'm not asking you to
-
kill any enemies, not anything like that. There are different
-
things you have God put on your heart to do.
-
If your follow of Christ, all of us have an
-
employment from the Lord. You have an assignment whether you are.
-
Awakened to it. So today I want to activate it
-
like a cup of noodle. Haha. Put a hot water
-
wake you up.
-
Oh all right, see you see the similarities there. Okay, Now,
-
if God has spoken something to you, it could be
-
go and visit your friend, give a lunch to your gods.
-
I don't know what it is, all right, Go and
-
say sorry to your mom. I don't know what it is.
-
Right.
-
Has God called you in this present time or it
-
could be a season time. You are now home, leader
-
of s y whatever home soon you're thinking, oh my word,
-
lead all these people?
-
Allelujah? Oh do you find yourself number one? Making excuses me?
-
Can a la?
-
I'm the youngest me, no, no, no long I'm working.
-
I'm a young, working adult, very important person. I'm working
-
for Ernst and Young you know, and I am an auditor.
-
So I don't have time to lead.
-
A home ha ha. But you have time to play pickleball.
-
All right, So do you find yourself and I find
-
people telling me they don't have time, but I find
-
them having time to play pickleball, oh my word, and
-
don't have time to visit anyone in the hospital. Come on,
-
have a perspective of your life. Do you find yourself
-
making excuses? I can't I'm not equipped, I'm too young,
-
I'm too old. I'm old already, I'm retired. Oh, all
-
the more, all the more more time. Now are you
-
asking for signs? One hundred signs? You want one hundred signs?
-
You show me for show me first, Show me first.
-
God ran now side already know that he can't lie back.
-
I'm just saying, hey, number three, or we are lacking
-
of courage. We are not courageous and understandable. We don't
-
all always so brief and courageous. And that's why if
-
you read the book of Joshua, the Lord said to Joshua, hey,
-
be bold and very courageous. I tell you I having
-
to me standing here has to come with very bold
-
and courageous spirit of the Lord. Not you think I
-
dare know is because the Lord, okay, Lord, help me.
-
Assigned by our boss, big boss, is the Lord. And
-
then you know, I only see a bus give us
-
job to do.
-
So this is our church, this is who God has
-
brought us to do. We find ourselves making excuses. I
-
don't have time.
-
I don't have time is the biggest one in all
-
our mouths, from the young teenager to the grandfather. I
-
don't have time. You have time to do gardening. You
-
have no time to visit somebody who needs a visit.
-
You don't have time, life, care, your whole life.
-
You don't. I can tell myself, I don't have timer.
-
I don't have time. Right, so I don't live.
-
I just work. And now I'm doing my masters. It's
-
even more time, nomal more time, no more. I just
-
started semester. I just bring son ready. I'm crying already, thinking,
-
oh my, but damn. When I didn't have I was
-
on break for three weeks. Hmmm, still got time, you know.
-
But I always make time to do something, whether is
-
to bake, whether I go drive all the way. I
-
drove all the wait here the other day for the
-
wake of Amal Jaire's founder, the Reverend Terrence. It was
-
hard because I was caught between fastest physio and then
-
another meeting and they were going to close at two
-
o'clock for them to rest.
-
I drove like a mad woman. I'm like thinking how
-
to get here from my house?
-
I mean shah alam, no, friend, I just drove and
-
then no patrol happened again this morning.
-
I don't know why.
-
So anyway, I say, no, I got to be here
-
before two. I say, eld Pingle, please tell the daughter
-
I'll be there at one fifty five. I have to
-
make time because people matter. They're not my church member,
-
but they're my sister in Christ. There's a servant of
-
God who's amaljaire to open up a home for orphans
-
or for young people. Come on, you don't have time, friends,
-
we make time because when we don't, when we don't
-
have time, we always make time. I remember I said
-
I know time, But when I was in love.
-
I make time. Yeah, a mat time.
-
I didn't have a car, but take bus to go
-
and visit boyfriend. Oh my word, how are your role
-
eyes now? The tears married?
-
Hello? Come on the excuses?
-
Do you find yourself making excuses when God has put
-
a call in your heart, ask you to do something,
-
lead you to a group of people. I'm too old,
-
I'm too young, I'm middle aged. I don't know excuses
-
asking for signs and then after they say, actually I
-
don't have courage or today I want to encourage you
-
with courage. It's not of our own strength, it is
-
from the Lord.
-
Amen.
-
Moving on, Si d sid. Do you have a friend
-
who's called said No, if you have a friend called said,
-
you'll remember this. See yourself as God sees you. God saw,
-
I want to say, God saw good. God saw Gideon.
-
Maybe your Christian name is going to be Gideon girl.
-
All right, So God saw Gideon and said hello, Oh,
-
mighty man of valor?
-
Is like, what me? How does God see you? God
-
sees you with potential. The Lord sees you with the
-
gift that He's already put in your life. You have
-
yet to activate it.
-
I can't. I can't speak. Moses member not speak all right?
-
Why because he's forty years in the backside of the
-
desert talking to the goats.
-
But but huh, who you hang out? He's going away.
-
You're gonna turn out.
-
And say bad God.
-
You do it?
-
No excuses? How do you see yourself? God sees you
-
as a mighty man of valor. God sees you as
-
a woman of faith. God sees you as a man
-
that is able to do beyond what you can even
-
dream or imagine, because of His word in your life. Amen,
-
see yourself as God sees you. I don't think God
-
sees me.
-
He sees you. He sees you.
-
He knows your name and even your original name. Yesterday,
-
hey you are Sid. Today you are Corey.
-
He knows.
-
But he'll call you by your Chinese name, AMENSI, that's
-
your mom call you.
-
That's the name. God knows you.
-
So he sees you as a mighty man of valor,
-
as a woman of faith, as one who is able,
-
not unable in the Lord. God has made you with
-
many good things. He has put in you. He has
-
placed his seat you have. You are made in God's image.
-
Amen.
-
That means all of Him is in you. You have
-
a gift, you say, I haven't activated Time to activate him.
-
He needs a hot water on the cup of noodle.
-
Right.
-
See you can remember this message now cup noodle. Every
-
time you look at her, Oh my goodness, passs Andra's
-
face all right, so number s s see see what
-
are you seeing?
-
How does God look at us?
-
If you read all the Bible He keeps saying so
-
many good things about us. You love us, You have
-
a future and a whole.
-
I feel yesterday. No, you still have a future. And no, yeah,
-
I got be blessed all last math I so said,
-
PA's the jack said, pussy is still good? Not good enough?
-
See you see yourself saying not good enough? What does
-
God see you? What is God placed in you? Number
-
I I your faith? You come a wake up faith.
-
Faith arise ignites the fire of the Holy Spirit.
-
We must be people who walk by faith.
-
Not by sight. Your faith? Where is your faith?
-
Have you buried your faith as a Christian as okay,
-
I don't say the word Christians. Have you buried your
-
faith as a child of the Living God? Have you
-
buried your faith and say I don't think I have
-
a faith?
-
No?
-
No, Friends, come alive the faith, Find the little bits
-
of it.
-
Find it.
-
Because your faith will ignite the fire of the Holy Spirit.
-
You cry out to the Lord and the Holy Spirit
-
who's always with you.
-
He will come in. He will, you know, put a
-
fresh fire, he will stir up. He will help you.
-
Because he is our helper. Amen, I ignite. We need
-
something to be ignited in us. A dream, the vision
-
for what God has for us, the loss. There's so
-
many who don't know Christ. What are we doing about it?
-
I ask myself every day I see there, God, I'm
-
so sorry I haven't witnessed to somebody today. I'm not
-
even in university. I don't have You need to walk
-
into it and see people. So I need to find
-
people the godler. Then I see the Ladyla, my cousin law.
-
No may excuse to see my cousin. She's wondering, why
-
why are you seeing me? I haven't seen you for
-
a long time. My classmate? You know, hey, don't cool?
-
Can I see you?
-
Like? Why he is only thinking about me? You're making films, right,
-
so I just thought about you. Silah.
-
To make excuse to meet my friends, Faith ignites the
-
fire of the Holy Spirit, d ending the name of Sid.
-
Call your son sydnext o Sydney Sid. God sends his
-
servants to disciple us. Why do I bring this point?
-
Why do I see that way Godhead to send as
-
if it's angel of the Lord. No in like a
-
person to speak to Gideon to add that that awakening
-
and awakening to him to disciple discipleship helps us from
-
the pain, plane, cup noodle and a soup. Now you're
-
going to add on more principles. Now you're going to
-
add on the other things on discipleship that helps you.
-
Hey, have you done water baptism? You have hollow of Christ?
-
Not yet? Why? I don't know. Come we talk about
-
water baptism. Hey? Have you had the in feeling of
-
the Holy Spirit? Do you paint down?
-
No? You let me teach you. Hey, did you know
-
that you can serve the lot with your gift?
-
What gift I have you? Can you play the guitar?
-
No?
-
Yes? Oh? All right? Are you able to shake someone
-
saying yeah? No? Yeah, okay, these are things you can
-
serve God with? Amen? Or perhaps these other things. Wow,
-
you're such a great illust How about doing as a poster? Yeay, yes, no,
-
all right.
-
I'm just saying, discipleship teaches you what the Word of
-
God says, someone to coach you, someone to help you.
-
Along the way. Amen. Amen. And that's what we do.
-
We add the egg into the noodle, We add the
-
sioux and the prawn and the chicken maade, and then
-
it looks amazing. Someone had to add it in. We
-
can't walk on solo. Ground by ourselves to grow. Unless
-
you are really in jail, no one there. You are
-
so bad criminal, you are locked up in the inner
-
of the most Inner, and then the Holy Spirit will
-
have to speak to you and teach you. You still
-
have the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit sent us
-
disciples discipler. We are in the theme of disciple first, right,
-
everyone to be disciple's pardon parcelor of what Jesus said
-
to do. You can you can say I don't believe
-
in discipleship, fine.
-
But it's what Jesus taught us. But it is true discipleship.
-
I'm here where I am today because someone took the
-
time to teach me. Someone took the time to tell me, girl,
-
this is not the way.
-
To go about your relationships.
-
Oh really, someone discipled me, adding value, adding value.
-
Amen.
-
So as see yourself as God sees you. Because God
-
never sees you as you are rascal. No, God sees
-
you as wow. There's such a potential you can lead
-
many people. Yeah, the Lord doesn't see you as oh. No,
-
this person is, you know, so rude. No, God sees
-
you as wow. He has such an ability to speak,
-
and may he now speak the oracles of God instead
-
of being rude.
-
All right, am I?
-
Your faith ignites the Holy Spirit. Your ignition. You have
-
to do that before your engine goes on.
-
Right.
-
So we come alive with the faith in that God
-
planted in us already, and the Holy Spirit will just
-
come and feel you and d God sends his servants
-
to disciple. Discipleship is the next step for us to
-
continue to.
-
Grow to work with us. Now.
-
It may not be always the same person, but I don't.
-
I didn't always have the same person. But different ladies
-
came into my life. They came and taught me, and
-
that's how I grew. Someone recognized my ability to sing
-
and they say, wow, you sing so well. Would you
-
like to join the worship ministry?
-
Okay?
-
And and that's how I developed and become a worship
-
leader for many years. But someone noticed, someone coached me,
-
someone gave me the confidence to do that. But the
-
Lord used somebody to tell me this is this is
-
a gift that God has given you. Amen, hallelujah, Amen.
-
And so I leave the three verses for you. Number one,
-
if you need to walk by faith and not by sight.
-
Come on, we're not we're not people.
-
We're not just you know this flesh and blood person,
-
and we're also people of spirit. We're made in the God.
-
Spirit lives in us. We're spiritual beings to we have.
-
We have the spirit of God in us. We must
-
walk by faith and not by sight. So Passa cannev
-
can walk by sight and say my leg ain't working,
-
So I don't think I can do Bindulu Big rarely
-
there pasta speaking, but he has to walk by faith,
-
as he's always walked by faith all these years. This
-
is his challenge now and say, okay, I will take
-
it up. The Lord will have to heal me that
-
I will be able to walk, get on that flight
-
and speak at that right because they said fast, there's
-
no one else we are going to invite. Sorry, since
-
we told them since the day it happened, that's in April,
-
there's two months they can invite. They need two months
-
to invite. They need to go through a lot of thing.
-
They say, no, we're not you will walk. If their
-
faith is also like this, then our faith or some
-
must be like God.
-
I also have to go Okay, we walk.
-
By faith and not by what we say see, But
-
many times we live by what we see and not
-
by faith. We've grown up in that way all our
-
whole lives. Depending when you got saved, you've always looked
-
at what you've seen.
-
I can only I can see this.
-
I don't think so can This church would not be
-
planted if I had looked at Stephen, then not Steve
-
past Oh young man just graduated.
-
No faith says, I don't care. You're going to do
-
it by God's grace.
-
There won't be a church here if somebody didn't have
-
a vision to say we can do this by faith.
-
Amen. There are a lot of things, ex church.
-
We are inundated by this message by faith, from our
-
foundings in your pastor all the way to all who
-
have planted, all have gone forth, all of you are
-
serving is by faith.
-
You're here this morning by faith.
-
You got up, man, you got up, glaw, you wanted
-
to sleep, but you got up because you. Let's say,
-
I gotta be here. My side is what I'm tired.
-
I'm tired or I can do a bigerball. No, my face,
-
I'm getting I'm getting up, brushing my teeth, suit up.
-
And because I count, I matter, and I'm here by faith.
-
Amen. Second Corinthians five seven thousands, that we walk by
-
faith and not by sight.
-
Church, you will hear these messages over this one year,
-
five years, ten years, you will continue. I know you
-
hear all these message la pas always.
-
On my faith because we don't, because we forget. We
-
need reminding. Like that cup noodle.
-
If you remain like that dry thing there you eat
-
me you won't Okay, maybe.
-
Mommy, you will eat dry man, you can't eat it forever.
-
You need that? What the right right? And that's where
-
the Lord is my strength. Are you going through a
-
tough time? Are you going through like? Are you?
-
Is this going to be forever? I want to tell
-
you something. Nothing in your life like when you're tough,
-
time will be forever. I have another message that says
-
tough times don't last. Tough people. Do you want that message?
-
It's called tofu another food message. Okay, I'll come back.
-
I'll come back for it tofu all right, tough times,
-
we'll be there. I've been through tough times. One month
-
ago I thought, oh my wood masks cannot walk and
-
I have to cook three meals.
-
I'm dead.
-
Of gose with the perspective. Just cooking clubs, they just
-
cook lub. I'm not very good I'm better at baking
-
every day, walking out and the thin I lost it
-
up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs.
-
No, I'm just saying it was tough.
-
It was tough for him, especially when the moment he
-
could not get up one of those days, couldn't the lick,
-
just couldn't.
-
I also like how I couldn't help it. I'm so
-
tiny and so small I cannot get em tough right,
-
the tough times last.
-
I want to tell you they this too shall pass.
-
Jesus hung on the cross for that many hours, This
-
too shall pass. It was horrible at the moments, the
-
hours he hung there, but it passed. So if you
-
think you're going through a tough time, this too shall pass.
-
This too shall pass. But tough people last, Amen, tough
-
people who put their faith in Christ and put that
-
trust in the Lord. He is your strength Haberka three nineteen.
-
The Lord God is my strength. The Lord God is
-
my strength. Are you needing strength to take the next step?
-
To take the next step?
-
We all do. I'm doing this church thing, and for
-
in this extras twenty five years.
-
You think I'm sailing every day, I think I'd be
-
walking like this a lot and of course a lot. Yeah,
-
past's job not easy. Today they say you're the best,
-
Tomorrow you're the worst. So I get one degger there.
-
But hey, who am I serving? And who am I
-
doing this? I answer the call. I will answer to
-
the Lord. The Lord is your strength. Do not grumble.
-
It won't be forever. One really serious. I've been to
-
twenty five thirty years on ministry. There's some things I thought,
-
Oh my goodness, are we going to do this forever?
-
Every Friday concert? No concert, just Jesus bands.
-
All the bands come on Friday night, have no life,
-
just minister to campus students only Lord, people got saved.
-
Did I do it forever?
-
No?
-
I'm not doing it anymore. But sometimes things must go
-
through that season so that Eyves will be touched for
-
that purpose. Amen. But who is our strength?
-
Because every Friday we set up, we sat down, we
-
set up, we sat down. The Lord is our strength, amen.
-
The and the Holy Spirit is our helper Amen. John
-
fourteen sixteen.
-
The Holy Spirit is our helper, and we need the
-
Holy Spirit.
-
Please today, students, I'm gone back to schooler. I really
-
have to put it back to the test the Holy Spirit.
-
I have to ask Holy Spirit, please help me. This
-
subject is beyond me. I've gone going back to school.
-
The tears after.
-
Very hard.
-
I've trained professionally. I've not went to university. I trained
-
professional paper. Now do this kind of thing. I want
-
sousa away and so all right, memory, so we cannot
-
catch up already. I chose to do it to the Lord.
-
It's my helper by the Holy Spirit, and the lot
-
is my strength. And I have to do this and
-
finish this course by faith with a lot of hard work. Amen, friends,
-
we need to ignite that faith. Amen, activate your faith
-
and live out your purpose. The cup noodle lives out
-
his purpose to feed somebody. What's your purpose for this week,
-
for this season, for this time? Made that cup to
-
carry that noodle? That noodle had to become a noodle.
-
I sound like Kumfupenda's bearing the duck. No, the goose
-
is my.
-
Noodles are the best? Yeah? All right? What purpose?
-
You're not just a student, not just an accountant or
-
a lawyer. You are first a child of God. You
-
are first called as a servant of the Lord. What
-
is it that you can that God has spoken to you?
-
Is it to refresh somebody? Is it cook a meal
-
for someone. Is it to be a listener? Is it,
-
you know, to show kindness?
-
Is it that you you sense that I need to
-
be there to start something, to start a small group, smart,
-
start a prayer group?
-
What is God's you know? The potential that God sees
-
in you? Do you see in yourself? So Sid, come on, Sid,
-
see yourself as God seize you.
-
Let your faithing night the fire of the Holy Spirit.
-
We need it. Amen, and Lord will send disciple.
-
Someone will disciple you and guide you and bring you
-
through for that season. It could be something else and
-
eggs someone else, But for now, are you open to
-
let someone speak into your life and add on that value,
-
just like how we add the egg and are you
-
and the bronze, the veggies, you know, just to make
-
it a delicious bowl of cop noodle. Yeah, And then
-
you don't think that it's not healthy. You're just like,
-
it's so yummy. Your life is yummy because it's filled
-
with the Holy Spirit, and it's got power and there's
-
so much a potential to be a blessing to someone.
-
You are blessed. You are gonna be blessed. But others
-
are gonna feel you.
-
They're gonna experience you and they're gonna give you, you know,
-
just wow.
-
Thank you, you know for coming into my life. Amen.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
