I want to just quickly share with us, and the

topic today is activate your faith.

Amen.

We're all full of men and women of faith here,

So continue to activate your faith. If you're already activated it.

If you haven't come on activated all right, it's like

a car. You need to turn on the ignition, right.

So activate your faith and live out your purpose. Because

God has a beautiful purpose for all of us, not

just one time, but for every season.

Of your life. There is purpose in you. Amen.

And I say season is not two days, and season

is not five months, season is a few years.

Season could be doing different things. But at every.

Stage of your life, you're always gonna be glowing, blooming,

being involved in the Kingdom of God.

Amen.

See, God always employs us. The world will not employ you,

will ask you to retire, but Jesus you refire. Amen,

No retirement in Jesus. You serve the Lord all the

way until you meet Jesus.

Amen.

Could be preaching and then you know that's it, bye bye,

or you're gonna be serving and then you go. But

we have a purpose and we want to leave that

purpose out.

All right, So I bring a little I didn't bring

I near of you like cup noodles. Hey, that's my favorite.

I know I'm very close to sixteen. I'm still eating

cup noodles. You know they're all scolding me, passa, don't

eat cupnoodles.

Not good for you. Okay.

I met I as a child, my mom would never

let me eat. When I got married, met my husband

cut noodles. And that's thirty years thirty years married. Right,

So I have this, And I watched pasta Matthew's son Nathan.

When he eats cup noodles, it tastes, so he makes

it taste so good. Right, I look at him, and

I really need to have a cup noodle.

So there are people here say please, don't touch it,

it's not good. Okay, whatever, right, but it is something

that most of us will we'll go to maybe hungry.

Anyway, the cup noodle, and I'm taking this a little

inspiration from here.

All right, What is the potential of this plain cup noodle?

Come on, guys, what's the potential?

Delicious? Amen, delicious, much more. Yeah.

So when we look at the cup noodle, it's contained

in a cup, a well, a cup that can take,

you know, carry this dry doodle. It's dry, it's what

you call it hydrated, is dehydrated, dehydrated noodles. And it

sits there and he has a little packet of seasoning

and whatever. There's the base of your soup base. So

that we put it in and then this this cup

carries this dry noodle and and then you use hot

water right to fill it.

And then boom you get a nice noodle. All right,

you're ready to go for it? Okay? And I think

it's it's it's quite a fun food line. It's not.

It's not healthy food forever. But whenever you need a

little you know, a bit hungry, okay, go for a

cup noodle. Then let's mela, what is the potential of

this plain cup noodle? Well, you know it's designed and

packed for a purpose, all right. It's designed and packed

for a purpose, and that purpose is to fill us,

all right. But I'm just using the cup noodle to

bring a little an illustration and maybe to help us

align a little bit. Sometimes if the cup, if the

noodle remains dry in the cup, the cup also was

made for purpose or holding it and cannot be cannot

be hot, right, it has to be able to help

us hold it without burning our fingers. And then the

dry noodle and it's supposed to be able to hydrate again.

And you know all the soup, the powder or the

seasoning will create the soup. So there is such potential

by itself already is quite so doubler, quite good, right,

it tastes good, But then you think about it.

Oh we could add an egg. Oh we could add

some vegetables.

We could add some ham in it, okay, or some

bronze in it.

Yeah, and then it becomes a comet noodle. All right.

It's like fabulous, not just plain anymore. There is great

potential with a plain cup noodle. Okay, can you imagine

your lives? Aw as he's already is wonderful, as he's

already is wonderful. Right, Sometimes we sit there hen we

don't feel very activated.

All right.

Just me, I'm just a mom, I'm just a student,

I'm just an accountant.

I'm just No. We cannot remain in that. Just in that.

And if you're feeling dry, come out. Whoa.

No, cannot can be dry, cannot be dehydrated.

Okay, you can't. You gotta be hydrated again. Amen.

And so I thought about this, and I wanted to

say to us, the hot water brings the noodles back

to life. I feel like sometimes the hot water represents

like the Holy Spirit. Alright, there's the fire, it's heat,

and it brings us alive when we're all but malayuing

all right, like you know, painting.

Away or feeling hired.

All right, and we need some hot water. And there's this,

you know, the soup base.

It add on to it. Whoa a life whoa? And

then okay, lo can doula can do.

But then as you walk along, we say, maybe we

can add some of those eggs and that veggie and the.

Meat, and it becomes something else.

It serves its purpose. The people who eat it are happy.

Now our lives are like that too, we can come

as a well, we're hydrated, but something else can be

placed more into our lives. We can dig deeper and

we get built up. Amen, But how do we get

through this?

Right?

So I know, I just want you to remember my message.

So you remember cup noodles? What did she say about

cup noodle? All right, there is the cup. There's a

purpose to hold the noodle. The noodle is dry, and

the noodle is dry, it is dehydrated, right, and then

what do you do with it? Well, we put in

the soup seasoning and then we fill it with hot water,

and then it comes alive.

And our lives could be like that.

We need to activate our faith because then whoa we

see the Holy Spirit walking and moving in our myths.

And that picture I'm bringing us is to look at

Gideon's life. Gideon in the Book of Judges, Gideon had

a call in his life. He was one of the

judges in the Bible before there was a king, before

they had a king. This was after Joshua, a warrior,

the one who led the people across the Jordan River

into the Promised Land. And after he lived one hundred

and ten years he died it And then you know,

other judges rose up because the children is real, very

very naughty. They would say, yes, I'm committed to you,

and then they would fall away from the Lord, and

then they get messed up, and then they cry out again,

oh help us Jesus, and help us the Lord, and

the Lord will send help. And so he would raise

different judges. And Gideon is one of those judges, all right.

And so Gideon's call and I wonder, though sometimes we

are we feel a bit like a Gideon.

Where was his call? Well?

I wrote, there is his call? And God called him?

Was the save Israel from the enemy. And that enemy

at that time were the media nights? All right, So

we look at Judges, chapter six and verse eleven to eighteen.

Okay, let's look at Judges.

If you have your Bibles, you can turn to the

Book of Judges and chapter six. Many of you know

the story Gideon. Yes, okay, still remember cup noodles. Okay,

still remember cup noodles. When you think cup noodles, think Gideon.

All right, all right, just just have you wake up

again and think about lunch and see maybe you'll have

cup noodles later. Yeah, So what is playing? What seems

to think I can't do much. You know, when you

add the Holy Spirit, something kaboom happens. All right, So Gideon,

Gideon in Judges six, if you look at verse eleven

and you follow through with me, he says, yeah. Now

the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the

terribin tree which was in Oprah, which belonged to Josh

the abbey's right, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in

the wine press. He treshed wheat in the wine press

in order to hide it from the Midy nights. And

the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said,

the Lord is.

With you, you mighty man of valor.

Whoa Kideon said to him, Oh, my lord, if the

Lord is with us, start to complain that, you know,

he didn't even say hello.

Are you like the head I come and say hello,

liness your pastor? Did you see okay? You see what

Okay, Oh, my Lord, if the Lord is with us,

why then has all oh this happened?

Why the Midia nights after us away?

Are all his miracles which our fathers told us about, saying,

did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? But

the Lord turned to Gideon and said, go in this

might of yours and you you shall save Israel from

the hand of the Midda Nights.

Gideon knew that he was said, But Gideon saim, girla bah,

What have I not sent you? Verse fifteen. So Gideon

said to the Angel of the Lord, Oh, my Lord,

how can.

I save Israel?

The read day of God's worth just a short passage,

He came to you.

If you are a believer or follow of Christ, you

have an assignment that is to carry the word of God,

to carry his love, to carry his kindness, to carry

his generosity. You have an assignment, amen, And the Lord

had one for Gideon. Some of the Lord gave assurance

to Gideon, and he says, I'll pick up three things

for you, just to give us a base. The Lord

assured Gideon that I am sending you. Okay, it's not

Mohammed is sending you. You know, Argentina is sending you,

you know, things helping. He said, no, I the Lord

I'm sending you. I'm sending you out to defeat the enemy.

Number two, the Lord said, I will be with you.

I am with you, says the Lord. If you read

the verses, we read it right.

The Lord says, I am with you. How much more?

How much more assurance do you need? The Lord says,

I'm with you.

And thirdly, the Lord gave the promise that he will

defeat the Media Knights. That means as a done deal,

it's done already.

Huh what they are a huge army.

But the Lord said, no, you will defeat the Midian

Knights as if of one man. And in that story

you know that he brought ten thousand and then Sunday

they only worked it how many three hundred you watched

Enemy the Midia Knights. Come on, George, the Lord gives

the gave Gideon that assurance. Number one? What did Lord say,

if God has spoken something to you, it could be

go and visit your friend, give a lunch to your gods.

I just work. And now I'm doing my masters. It's

even more time, nomal more time, no more. I just

started semester. I just bring son ready. I'm crying already, thinking,

oh my, but damn. When I didn't have I was

But I always make time to do something, whether is

to bake, whether I go drive all the way. I

from the Lord.

Is like, what me? How does God see you? God

sees you with potential. The Lord sees you with the

gift that He's already put in your life. You have

yet to activate it.

No excuses? How do you see yourself? God sees you

He knows your name and even your original name. Yesterday,

He knows.

But he'll call you by your Chinese name, AMENSI, that's

your mom call you.

That's the name. God knows you.

So he sees you as a mighty man of valor,

as a woman of faith, as one who is able,

not unable in the Lord. God has made you with

many good things. He has put in you. He has

placed his seat you have. You are made in God's image.

That means all of Him is in you. You have

a gift, you say, I haven't activated Time to activate him.

It may not be always the same person, but I don't.

I didn't always have the same person. But different ladies

came into my life. They came and taught me, and

that's how I grew. Someone recognized my ability to sing

and they say, wow, you sing so well. Would you

like to join the worship ministry?

And and that's how I developed and become a worship

leader for many years. But someone noticed, someone coached me,

someone gave me the confidence to do that. But the

Lord used somebody to tell me this is this is

a gift that God has given you. Amen, hallelujah, Amen.

And so I leave the three verses for you. Number one,

if you need to walk by faith and not by sight.

Come on, we're not we're not people.

We're not just you know this flesh and blood person,

and we're also people of spirit. We're made in the God.

Spirit lives in us. We're spiritual beings to we have.

We have the spirit of God in us. We must

walk by faith and not by sight. So Passa cannev

can walk by sight and say my leg ain't working,

Every Friday concert? No concert, just Jesus bands.

All the bands come on Friday night, have no life,

just minister to campus students only Lord, people got saved.

I'm not doing it anymore. But sometimes things must go

for someone. Is it to be a listener? Is it,

you know, to show kindness?

Is it that you you sense that I need to

be there to start something, to start a small group, smart,

start a prayer group?

What is God's you know? The potential that God sees

in you? Do you see in yourself? So Sid, come on, Sid,

see yourself as God seize you.

Let your faithing night the fire of the Holy Spirit.

We need it. Amen, and Lord will send disciple.

Someone will disciple you and guide you and bring you

through for that season. It could be something else and

eggs someone else, But for now, are you open to

let someone speak into your life and add on that value,

just like how we add the egg and are you

and the bronze, the veggies, you know, just to make

it a delicious bowl of cop noodle. Yeah, And then

you don't think that it's not healthy. You're just like,

it's so yummy. Your life is yummy because it's filled

with the Holy Spirit, and it's got power and there's

so much a potential to be a blessing to someone.

You are blessed. You are gonna be blessed. But others

are gonna feel you.

They're gonna experience you and they're gonna give you, you know,

just wow.
