  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Prompting me to speak about the Trinity. So we're gonna

  4. talk about the Trinity today. Okay, Okay, I hope Again

  5. I'm not that greater teacher, but I hope whatever I've

  6. thought would just make you interested, curious, uh, and hunger

  7. to read the word yourself and really know because we

  8. all say we you know, we love our God? Do

  9. we really know our God? And if you don't know

  10. and understand the Trinity, you don't really know our God. Okay,

  11. So we're gonna start off with as some question I

  12. hope this works. Okay, how many of you've done Menimeter before?

  13. We're gonna do a little questionnaire. You can scan this now.

  14. The only thing is I think it's only limited to

  15. fifty participants because it's a free account. So maybe couples

  16. can share one scan. Yeah, if you're on a share one,

  17. you can, although your answers may be personal, so it's

  18. a bit hard. It's not a not a quiz, more

  19. of just to see what everyone's understanding and your your own,

  20. your own a relationship with the Trinity. Okay, The kids

  21. don't need to scan. I think most of you don't

  22. have phones. Some of you maybe have. But if any

  23. kid comes up and answer, I'll give you something from here, okay,

  24. a little treat not right wrong, as long as you

  25. come up answer no, only the kids. All right? Are

  26. you already? Everyone scan? If you scan readly, just raise

  27. your hands so I know you're in. Do you get in?

  28. Yeah?

  29. You'll see the page with a question. Okay, the xtual.

  30. We can help me to move into the questions. Only

  31. five questions. Okay, five questions, and the first one is

  32. coming up. I think you already see it on the screen.

  33. You can answer, who do you usually pray or talk to?

  34. Any keep on, come up here and tell me your answer.

  35. Who do usually pray or talk to? God, the Father,

  36. Jesus or the Holy Spirit? And come up? Come? Yay?

  37. What's your name? LeRoi? Welcome? He right, first time right today? Here? Okay?

  38. Who do you usually talk to or pray to? Old tree?

  39. Old tree?

  40. Wow?

  41. Okay, come choose one, come thank you. Okay, let's see

  42. what what did most people answer? Sixteen said or three,

  43. five said Father God, five said Jesus. Zero A lot

  44. of holy spirit, holy spirits very said, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,

  45. maybe okay, but holyp you didn't get like majority. Okay,

  46. all right, next question, what is the trinity? Can put it?

  47. Can put the question up? I forgot what answers I

  48. put there? Okay, three gods one God with three heads,

  49. and God is three persons? Any any keep un com Isaiah?

  50. Come okay, if your answer you put up your hand again,

  51. I'll call you up so that you don't run up

  52. here and trip on each other. Okay, those are on

  53. the phones. You can not changing. Didn't go to the

  54. next light. Oh oh wait, presenter says, wait, okay, now

  55. might be let the kids and so first you saw

  56. the three answers, right, I don't remember what Okay, is

  57. a three gods? Then God with three hates got his

  58. three persons? Good job, It's okay. No worries if if

  59. if the thing is not following, I think it requires

  60. the presenter to press the next one. Shall I move on? Okay?

  61. The third question, when did Jesus exist? Let me let

  62. me see whether I can move it from my side.

  63. Let's try mm hmm. Okay, first one, are you seeing

  64. the question? Yeah? I know my husband's gonna say in

  65. the beinninging from the benninging, second is when he was

  66. conceived of the Holy Spirit. And lastly when you're I

  67. was born of the Virgin Mary. Can you answer on

  68. the phone or cannot? Cannot? Hey, oh I can't? I

  69. so can I move it from my side? Oops? Okay,

  70. we let the kids answer us. Who has the come?

  71. Oh?

  72. We got not anyone? Come? Can tell your one? Your name? Alitia? Alitia? Okay,

  73. what is your answer? Oh it's not there? Do you

  74. remember the three? Can you remember?

  75. You know?

  76. I let me bring it out. I read it to

  77. you again. Oh okay, see I cannot go next? Oh there, okay,

  78. So the first one from the beginning, second one when

  79. he was conceived of the Holy Spirit, that is, when

  80. he was born of the Virgin Mary. Which one one

  81. to a tree from the beginning while you're also clever? Okay,

  82. come some of you wondering, is it really am I?

  83. We're going to the world a bit monitor okay. Fourth question,

  84. when did the Holy Spirit come to being? Okay, okay,

  85. can presenter never mind you consider the questions. So okay,

  86. I'll just read it out. First one always existed. Two

  87. when he ascended on Jesus like a dove and sorry

  88. descended this ended just like a dove. And thirdly, when

  89. the Father send him to the apostles, everyone answer, okay, come,

  90. I saw Ariel's hand first adult. You're just thinking of

  91. an answer in your hair? Huh. Sorry, he meant me

  92. didn't work. I feel like I'm wrong when I think

  93. I'm wrong. But okay, that's that's right. When did the

  94. Holy Spirit come to being when the Father sent him

  95. to the apostles? Go send him to apostles. I told

  96. you you can get even if the answer is wrong,

  97. so you still get for coming up. Anyone else want

  98. to try? Good job, good try real Ridley, you want

  99. to try? Okay? Come okay? When did Holy speak on

  100. the being always existed when he descended on Jesus like

  101. a dove, or when the Father send him to the apostles?

  102. We should always existed when he descended on Jesus, or

  103. when the Father send him to the postils one to

  104. a tree? When when always existed? Something? That's nasha God?

  105. All right?

  106. Okay? Last question? Last question? Oh yeah, this one, this one,

  107. I need the word cloud. Never mind, let's see if

  108. anyone want to shout out some answers. Ah, what analogies.

  109. Have you heard trying to explain the trinity? Egg? What else?

  110. My low? Three in one? My lower? What the hattey ow?

  111. Is it? What else? Any kids? Kids? Have you heard

  112. of any try and go? Anymore human being? Or like

  113. father son Nen the police, birds, who body, soul? Spirit? Anymore?

  114. Star Wars? How is that? I saw?

  115. Know here?

  116. Okay, all the Jedi fans the first be with you,

  117. all right, So we've all heard all kinds of Yeah,

  118. I've heard coffee and tree run coffee. I can't remember

  119. what else, but there's people have been trying over the

  120. years to try to come up with an analogy to

  121. explain the trinity, but nothing will, nothing will be good

  122. enough to explain the Trinity. Yeah, and thank you kids

  123. for participating and adults, sorry couldn't fully participate. But I

  124. want to just get the ball rolling on this topic

  125. because it is an interesting one and I think, I

  126. don't know, I think until we meet him in heaven,

  127. and we may not fully comprehend this whole theory. But

  128. let's look a little bit into what the Trinity is

  129. all about, who He is and the really the basis

  130. of our faith is that God is three persons, you

  131. can bring up the slides with the triangle. Right, each

  132. person is fully God. Hey, God is three persons. Each

  133. person is fully God. But there is one God. Right,

  134. we don't say we have three gods. We have one God,

  135. but he is three persons and each of them is

  136. fully God. Our brains are already blowing up right with

  137. this concept. But how and how do we know God

  138. is three persons? So we're gonna look into two things today.

  139. I'm gonna start with this first. If you're if you're

  140. taking notes, Let's look first at the uniqueness of each

  141. person of the trinity. Because when we identify and see

  142. that they are unique, then you you will agree that

  143. they are three persons. Okay, So who should we look

  144. at first? Let's look at God the Father. Okay, I'm

  145. gonna probably have to rest true because I don't know

  146. how I'm gonna get through all these I've got like

  147. forty of us slights. I think it's one one minute,

  148. but there's gonna be a lot of verses. I think

  149. the Bible someway is self explanatory. Hope, and we take

  150. it down, you will catch this for yourself. So God

  151. the Father, let's see the first verse first thing that

  152. we recognize about God, the Father is he loves the

  153. world and he loves me. Why everyone knows John three sixteen.

  154. Why don't you read it out with me? For God

  155. so love the world that he gave his only begotten son,

  156. so that whoever believes in him should not perish but

  157. have everlasting life. The Father loves us so much. That's

  158. the first thing that we know about our heavenly Father,

  159. that he loves earth and he loves everyone in the world.

  160. Second one second verse from John five, verse twenty six.

  161. Most verses I put it up here. There will be

  162. some that I asked you to turn to, but most

  163. of it I put it here for the ease of

  164. reading it quickly. Okay, shall we read the verse together?

  165. For as the Father has life in himself, so he

  166. has granted the son to have life in himself and

  167. has given him authority to execute judgment. Also because he

  168. is the son of man, and we see here the

  169. father grants the son life. Have you ever read that

  170. the father granted the son life, and he also gave

  171. the son to judge? Okay, this is the father doing

  172. his Father gave the son authority to judge. Let's look

  173. at the next verse, John seventeen, verse twenty one. Ye, kids,

  174. I know you're right now in law versus can take

  175. it down and read it at home. Can't go back

  176. and read the word on your own. Now, we don't

  177. God the Father sent the son because in John seventeen,

  178. verse twenty one, it says that they all may be one,

  179. as you Father are in me and I in you,

  180. that they also may be one in us. That the

  181. world may believe that you sent me, right you, the Father,

  182. you sent me, The Father sent Jesus. What else did

  183. the Father do? Let's look at John chapter seventeen, verse

  184. twenty two. So just the next verse, next verse, Yes,

  185. and the glory which you gave me, I've given them

  186. that they may be one, just as we are one. Again,

  187. here we see the Father gave the son glory, specific

  188. things that the Father did. Father gave the sun glory

  189. next night, And I think about the Father. He gives

  190. me good gifts. How many of you have been so

  191. blessed by the gifts that God has given us. In

  192. James one, verse seventeen, he says, whatever is good and

  193. perfect is a gift coming down to us from God,

  194. our father who created all the lights in the heavens.

  195. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. So Father

  196. really is a giver of life, the giver of good gifts.

  197. He loves me unconditionally, He has forgiven me. And really,

  198. I don't know how many of you here agree with

  199. this our identity. I know that my identity is knowing

  200. that I am His child, and nothing can separate me

  201. from His love, his grace, his mercy. Did I put

  202. another verse there? Recall? Now, yeah, you can read Romans.

  203. You can take that verse down. Maybe I can read

  204. it quickly to us, Okape Romans, chapter eight. And I

  205. think I declared this last week over us as well,

  206. eight thirty one to thirty nine. What then shall we

  207. say to these things? If God is for us, who

  208. can be against us? He who did not spare his

  209. own son, but delivered him up all for us all,

  210. how shall he not with him also freely give us

  211. all things? Who should bring a charge against God's elect

  212. It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns?

  213. It is Christ who died, And furthermore, it's also Risen,

  214. who is even at the right hand of God, who

  215. also makes intercession for us? Who shall separate us from

  216. the love of Christ. Just knowing that thought, you know,

  217. it's I think it get you through anything. Okay. Who

  218. can separate us from the love of Christ shall tribulation

  219. and distress, or persecution, of famine, or nakedness or peril

  220. or sort as it is written, for your sake, we

  221. are killed all day long. We are counted as sheep

  222. for the slaughter. Yet in all these things you are

  223. more than conquerors through Him who loved us. And this

  224. the verse. For I am persuaded. And neither death, nor life,

  225. nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor

  226. things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other

  227. created things shall be able to separate us from the

  228. love of God, from the love of God, from the

  229. love of God, the Father, which is in Christ, Jesus

  230. our Lord. So really, just knowing that nothing can separate

  231. us from the love of the Father, you know that

  232. should keep us going his love, his grace, his mercy. Okay,

  233. So that that is unique about the Father. Let's look

  234. at the Son. Let's look at Jesus. Philippians, chapter two,

  235. verse six to eight. It says, you have heard me

  236. say to you, I'm going away and coming back to you.

  237. If you loved me, you would rejoice because I said,

  238. I'm going to the Father, for my Father is greater

  239. than I. Have you ever noticed that before? The Father

  240. is greater than I. So the first thing I'm going

  241. to point out, but Jesus is God's what actually says

  242. he's less than the Father? You know, how can it be?

  243. How is that? Is this best for me? No? Let

  244. me just explain it a bit, because if you read

  245. these you're like, why is just less than the Father?

  246. In the form of man. When Jesus was on earth

  247. as a man, as human flesh, right, he was less

  248. than the Father. That's why he speaks that way, right,

  249. But in the form of God he is equal. There's

  250. another verse. I need to see whether I put it

  251. up there. If not, I'll point it out to you.

  252. But it talks about Jesus, not you know, counting it.

  253. He didn't think like, just because I'm EQO with God,

  254. I need to cling on to that. Yeah, that's a verse.

  255. So he says, yeah, the Son is less than the Father. Kay.

  256. Of course when he was on earth, he came to

  257. the earth to do the will of the Father. Okay,

  258. So Jesus again, this is his uniqueness, and he came

  259. to earth. He's the only one who came to earth

  260. to do the will of the Father and says, why

  261. I've come down from heaven to do the will of

  262. God who sent me, not to do my own will.

  263. John chapter six, verse thirty eight. And then if you

  264. look in Mark chapter thirteen, verse thirty two, did you

  265. know Jesus doesn't know everything that the Father does. He

  266. said it himself in Mark thirteen thirty two. But of

  267. that day and hour, no one knows, not even the

  268. angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

  269. And this is about the timing the end of times.

  270. Jesus said, not even the Son knows, only the Father. Okay.

  271. And actually, when you read through the gospels right, it

  272. will make you wonder when did Jesus actually have fell knowledge?

  273. Means he knew something beforehand, and when he didn't because

  274. he was both fully man and fully God. Again, something

  275. that blows our minds because we can't comprehend it because

  276. fully God is fully man. When were the times that

  277. he was in his humanness humanity that he didn't know

  278. certain things to come? Yeah, And when did he operate

  279. in his divinity? We can see in Luke chapter two,

  280. verse fifty two. Forgot if I put it up there again,

  281. do I have that first day of not I ready

  282. to us? Luke two, verse fifty two, Okay, if you're there,

  283. you can follow me talks about when Jesus was growing up.

  284. I can't turn my page to fifty two. It says,

  285. and Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor

  286. with God and men increased in wisdom, meaning he didn't

  287. have all the wisdom to begin with. I mean, I'm

  288. sure you I don't already thought about it. But when

  289. he was born heastantly like know everything as an infant

  290. came out born, and he had all the wisdom already

  291. knew everything that God was going to do. No, he

  292. grew right, he was, He really was in human form

  293. like kids like you, like little ones like easy from young.

  294. He grew up and he grew in wisdom. He grew

  295. in knowledge, and he grew in understanding over time. Yeah,

  296. let's look at and I love this because you know

  297. John three sixteen very well? Do you know first John

  298. three sixteen. Let's look at the next verse, first John

  299. tree sixteen. We know what real love is because Jesus

  300. gave up his life for us, so we also ought

  301. to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.

  302. Jesus is the one who sacrificed his life for us.

  303. He suffered and died for me. Why saw that we

  304. can come to the Father? Right? Because we can't. We

  305. can't go to the Father at all. He's word says

  306. anyone who sees God will will not live. If you

  307. read by in the Old Testament. I think I mention

  308. it again later on. But we can't see God's face

  309. and live. But Jesus. Jesus came to us so that

  310. we could be in commune with God himself. Right, So

  311. he came, He sacrificed his life for us. He's my savior,

  312. and he did that so that we can go to

  313. the Father. Let's look at Mark chapter sixteen, verse seventeen

  314. to eighteen. And these signs will follow those who believe

  315. in my name. They will cast out demons, they will

  316. speak with new tongues. They will take up serpents, and

  317. if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means

  318. hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and

  319. they will recover. How those who believe and in whose name, Jesus.

  320. In Jesus' name, we have authority. That's another unique thing

  321. about Jesus. In his name, we have authority to do

  322. all these things, right, to cast out demons. How many

  323. of you believe you can cast out demons in Jesus' name? Yeah?

  324. See some kids putting out their hands. You can lay

  325. hands on the sick and they will be heal. Amen. Amen.

  326. And when I think of Jesus, he's basically the perfect

  327. example of how to live my life. Right. Anytime we

  328. think about how do I make this decision, what should

  329. I do? How should I treat this person? What should

  330. I think? Just think of Jesus. Just read back the

  331. four Gospels. Read true. How did Jesus handle anything, any situation,

  332. any challenge or the persecution, all the hurts, How he

  333. loves people. Just look at jesus life, and we know

  334. how we are supposed to live on earth. Okay, I

  335. hope you're catching something or just even like, yeah, reflecting

  336. and thinking about who is God the Father to me?

  337. Who is Jesus to me? Now, let's look at the

  338. Holy Spirit, the least sometimes remembered thought of Yeah, let's

  339. look at Luke verse one. He Sorry chapter one, verse

  340. thirty five. It says, and the Angel answered and said

  341. to her, the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and

  342. the power of the Highest will overshadow you. Therefore, also

  343. the Holy One who is to be born will be

  344. called the Son of God, who caused the conception of Jesus,

  345. the Holy Spirit. Okay, the Holy Spirit caused the conception

  346. of Jesus within Mary. Again a unique thing that only

  347. the Holy Spirit did. And we see in Matthew chapter three,

  348. verse sixteen. Right, the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus when

  349. he had been baptized. Jesus came up immediately from the water,

  350. and behold, the heavens were open to hi him, and

  351. he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove

  352. and a lighting upon him. Gain something very clear, That

  353. Holy Spirit he descended upon Jesus. And that's when John knew, right,

  354. this is the son of God, because God the Father

  355. told him. God Father did tell him. Whoever you see

  356. the Holy Spirit descend on like a dearth, that is

  357. the Son of God. What else, Let's move into X. Okay,

  358. In of X, you'll be reading lots and lots of

  359. the Holy Spirit. Let's see chapter thirteen verse verse two

  360. and four. As they ministered to the Lord and faster,

  361. the Holy Spirit said, now separate to me Bannabas and

  362. Saul for the work of which I have called them.

  363. So you see the Holy Spirit speaks. Yeah, he speaks.

  364. And then in verse four, so being sent out by

  365. the Holy Spirit, they went down to Solutionah and from

  366. there they sailed to Cyprus. So the Holy speaks, and

  367. he also sends. He sends us in all missionaries and

  368. all that He's the one sending. It's not men. And

  369. then we see the Holy Spirit in accept the four

  370. Ust thirty one, nexts next verse, next slide. The Holy

  371. Spirit fills if you're taking out notes, Oh is it not?

  372. That?

  373. Is there? Holy Spirit fills X Chapter four Ust thirty one,

  374. four Wars thirty one. And when they had prayed, the

  375. place where they were assembled together was shaken, and they

  376. were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke

  377. the Word of God with boldness. So we know the

  378. Holy Spirit fills us and gives us boldness. Amen. Oh,

  379. maybe I mixed up the slice. Sorry. Activ X Chapter sixteen,

  380. verse six to ten. The Holy Spirit forbids and he

  381. also calls okay, we'll read this. I didn't put it

  382. there because it's quite it's a bit long. So he

  383. turned with me to X Chapter sixteen Versus six to

  384. ten the Macedonian Call. Now, when they had gone.

  385. Through Frigia, Frigia, Frigia, and the region of Galicia, they

  386. were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the Word

  387. in Asia.

  388. Holy Spirit stop was from preaching somewhere. Well, he knows,

  389. he knows what's best, right, But he did forbid the

  390. apostles at that time to preach the Word in Asia.

  391. After they had come to Misia, not Malaysia, they tried

  392. to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. Again,

  393. the Holy Spirit forbid verse eight. So, passing by Misia Malaysia,

  394. they came down to troy Us and a vision appeared

  395. to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood

  396. and pleaded with him, saying, come over to Macedonia and

  397. help us. Verse ten. Now after he had seen the vision,

  398. immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the

  399. Lord had called us to preach the Gospel to them. Wow,

  400. so the Holy Spirit can forbid us to do things.

  401. He also cause us to where we need to go

  402. and where we need to be. Amen. Yeah, sorry, I

  403. know in the slights. Now is the fields, and okay,

  404. you can pick it down. Next, the Holy Spirit teachers

  405. John fourteen, verse twenty six. But the helper, the Holy Spirit,

  406. whom the Father will send in my name, he will

  407. teach you'll all things and bring to your remembrance all

  408. things that I said to you. I hope you all

  409. are hungry to learn, hungry to learn from God from

  410. his word. Sometimes we always say, right, so hard, how

  411. so hard to read? Don't understand what I'm reading? Ask

  412. the Holy Spirit, Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you,

  413. and he will bring that enlightenment, you know. Amen. Next

  414. one extra to twenty vers twenty eight. So much and

  415. there's so much I want to covering a little bit

  416. of each person of the Trinity. Actually twenty verse twenty eight.

  417. The Holy Spirit chooses or a points, so we see here. Therefore,

  418. take heed to yourselves and to all the flock among

  419. which the Holy Spirit has made you overseas to shepherd

  420. the Church of God, which he purchased with his own blood. Leaders.

  421. You weren't chosen or appointed by men or by the

  422. pastors or by the elders. You were chosen, You were

  423. hand picked. You appointed by the Holy Spirit. Y'all believe that. Yeah,

  424. some as you wonder, how did I become a leader?

  425. Did someone make a mistake? No, the Holy Spirit chose you.

  426. The Holy Spirit appointed you because he moved. He would

  427. have spoken to you know, the leaders who appointed you.

  428. But it is the Holy Spirit. Because God loves his church,

  429. he says, right, the Church of God he purchased with

  430. his own blood. Why would he simply get anyone to

  431. lead his church. No, every one of you who are called,

  432. who are appointed, who are commissioned as leaders, it is

  433. a high calling. The Holy Spirit has called you to

  434. serve and love his Church. Amen. Amen. Did you also

  435. know that the Holy Spirit can be grieved? Ephicients, Chapter four,

  436. verse thirty, Do we have that or something? Yeah? And

  437. don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God by whom you

  438. were sealed for the day of redemption. Very specific again, No,

  439. it says, do not grieve the Holy Spirit. And this

  440. is also a proof and reason that the Holy Spirit

  441. is a person. Right, I think you've heard in the

  442. past weeks. You know it's not our sayings. He's not

  443. just a power, he's a power. They have no feelings,

  444. but people or persons. A person, a being has feelings,

  445. has emotions. And Holy Spirit can be hurt, can be saddened,

  446. can be grieved by us. And I pray that we won't.

  447. We will never grieve the Holy Spirit. Amen. Next night,

  448. you know, write some things, some points there I just

  449. took down. When I think about the Holy Spirit, he's

  450. my counselor he's my helper, he's my comforter. He gives

  451. me power and authority. He tells me what to say.

  452. You know, I shared so last last week? Was it

  453. last week? Just last week our missions conference. One of

  454. the workshops was the Disciple Disciples on in every school,

  455. every street, and so I was sharing our stories, you know,

  456. we on campus, so i'd work and there's so many

  457. times where it's the Holy Spirit that natch us and

  458. tell us pray for this person or speak to this person.

  459. How what do I say? And it's the Holy Spirit

  460. that tells us what to say. I mean maybe at

  461. the time we don't know, but when we start speaking,

  462. you know, he speaks to us. He gives me bonus

  463. and courage. I tell you, I told the story I

  464. told in this church, and I shared again there the

  465. few times, and the Holy Spirit asked me to either

  466. pray with my colleagues for my colleagues, and then in

  467. London again amongst all the senior leadership. You know, pray

  468. We don't. We don't have the bonus on our own.

  469. It's really oh your guts, you just fully together, but

  470. the Holy Spirit just gives you that extra push, that

  471. bonus and encourage to do so. So I pray no,

  472. as we reflect on who the Trinity is, the uniqueness,

  473. I pray we will go back and reflect on our

  474. relationship with this triune God. It's not complete if you

  475. only know one of them one part of who God is.

  476. So my challenge is do we know each person in

  477. the Trinity? Okay? If not, let's desire to this year,

  478. let's desire too. Now there we look at the Trinity

  479. as three unique persons, it's actually even more important for

  480. us to look at them as one whole. Like getting

  481. your confused. Talk about three persons, now talk look at

  482. them as one whole. Because right, God's oneness is not sameness,

  483. and so he's so he's unique. The three persons are unique,

  484. but it is unity. So how you take down those

  485. two things, and the two use unique yet united. His

  486. oneness is unity, not sameness. Let's look at John chapter seventeen,

  487. verse twenty one and John chapter ten, verse thirteen. She

  488. read both of them. John ten thirty says, I and

  489. my Father are one. John seventeen, verse twenty one says

  490. that they all may be one. Who's they all? They

  491. all may be one? Earth just talking about the Church us,

  492. that we may be one, as you Father are in

  493. me and I in you, that they also may be

  494. one in us. That the world may believe that you

  495. send me. We read this earlier as well, right, But

  496. here's very clear. The Father is in the Son, the

  497. Son is in the Father, and he wants us to

  498. be in Christ. Just as God is one. The Father

  499. and Son are one. He wants he's calling the church

  500. also to be one. Now, let's look at how the

  501. Trinity always work. If you read, I'm noticing even more

  502. now when I study the world and I read through

  503. the Book of Acts, you see the Trinity working together

  504. all the time. I used to not really pick that out,

  505. but now when I read it, I see, Oh, he's

  506. always working on Godfather, and then the Sun and the

  507. Holy Spirit. They're always working in unity. So let's look

  508. at a few a few points in time. Let's look

  509. at the beginning. Just the kids answer, right, Jesus was

  510. there at the beginning, and the Holy Spirit was also

  511. there from the beginning. Okay. Let's read that in the beginning,

  512. God created the heavens and the earth, okay, which means

  513. the whole universe. Don't just think earth only, Okay, the

  514. whole universe. The earth was without form and void and

  515. darkness was on the face of the deep. And who

  516. was hovering the Spirit of God. That's the Holy Spirit.

  517. He was hovering over the face of the waters. That's

  518. proof that the Holy Spirit was there from the very

  519. beginning when God created the universe. In the Malay translation

  520. the Holy Spirit, they usually I think different translations, but

  521. they will say rah Allah, God's Spirit. And if we

  522. read further down to verse twenty six, yeah, then God said,

  523. let us make man in our image according to our likeness.

  524. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,

  525. over the birds of the air, and over the kettle,

  526. and over the earth, and over every creeping thing that

  527. creeps on the earth. Who's God talking to us Earth?

  528. Among themselves three persons. Let us make man in our image,

  529. three persons united, always working together in unity, as make

  530. men like us and have dominion over the whole earth. Wow,

  531. let's look now at Colloss. Are you saying, okay, we

  532. saw the Spirit hold ring. God the Father was there, Jesus.

  533. Let's look at Colloss now, Chapter one, verse fifteen to seventeen.

  534. O care, I put it all there. He is the

  535. image of the invisible God, the firstborn overall creation. For

  536. by him all things were created. By Jesus, all things

  537. were created that are in heaven, that are on earth,

  538. visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or principalities or powers,

  539. all things were created through him, Jesus, and for him,

  540. Jesus the Son, and he is before all things, and

  541. in him all things consists. By Christ, Jesus, all things

  542. were created. So you see it, the creation of the

  543. world of the universe. God the Father was there, The

  544. Holy Spirit was there, Jesus was there. They are one.

  545. They were working together, just like I mentioned earlier. I

  546. mentioned right, men had never seen God. That's what you've

  547. seen the verse. He's the image of the invisible God, God,

  548. the Father. No one has ever seen him. You've read

  549. the whole read the whole Bible. The closest was probably

  550. who remembers. There's only one person that probably the closest

  551. to seeing God, which profered Moses. Moses in extra study three.

  552. You can take that down, go back and read it.

  553. Exodus Study three. God had to hide Moses in a

  554. cleft of a rock because Moses say, show me a glory, right,

  555. hide him in a rock, covered him, covered Moses as

  556. he walked past, and then told Moses, now you can look,

  557. but you only see my back. Going read it for yourself,

  558. took his hand away. Moses saw his back because if

  559. he had seen the face of God, he wouldn't have lived.

  560. You would have died immediately. And tried the whole Bible.

  561. No one has ever seen God's face. He's invisible God.

  562. But Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth so

  563. that we can somehow look at God. Right, came in

  564. the flesh. Amen, a man could see him, could touch him,

  565. one of us. Before I move on from the beginning,

  566. I love this John. I like John how he starts

  567. his book. So John chapter one, verse one to five.

  568. In the beginning was the word, and the word was

  569. with God, and the Word was God. He was in

  570. the beginning with God. All things were made through him,

  571. and without him, nothing was made. That was made. In

  572. him was life, and the life was the light of men.

  573. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness

  574. did not comprehend it. Who's this the word? John is

  575. talking about Jesus the Sun. He is the Word, He

  576. was with God, he is God. Amen. Okay, so you

  577. see that here as well. Can move to verse fourteen.

  578. I think I put it there as well. Still, John,

  579. chapter one, If you read down to verse fourteen, is

  580. it there? If not, I read it all I know

  581. you have to write a lot of stuff to watch. No,

  582. go back and read all this again. Your homework for

  583. this week, John, chapter one, verse fourteen. Every day read

  584. a few can with your parents. Okay. And the world

  585. became flesh and dwelt among us. Okay. There's only one

  586. person that became flesh and dought among us is Jesus.

  587. He's the Word. The Word became flesh and delt among us,

  588. and we beheld his glory. The glory is of the

  589. only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Amen.

  590. The Word became flesh, he's Jesus. Okay, so we've see

  591. in the beginning all three of them working in unity.

  592. Let's look about. Look at when Jesus was on earth. Okay,

  593. it wasn't just Jesus Jesus the whole time we through

  594. the gospels. Let's look at that together again. Even when

  595. Jesus was walking on earth, the Trinity was working in unity,

  596. interacting with one another. Let's look at during his baptism.

  597. When he had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from

  598. the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him,

  599. and he saw the Spirit of God. So the Holy

  600. Spirit descended, descending like a dearth and alighting upon him.

  601. And suddenly a voice from heaven came from heaven saying,

  602. this is my beloved son, who is speaking the Father. Yeah, God,

  603. the Father, this is my beloved son in whom I'm well.

  604. Please again at the baptist Jesus. You see all three.

  605. The Holy Spirit came down, the Father spoke. Jesus was

  606. there being baptized. Let's look at John chapter one, verse

  607. thirty two to the three right. I think I mentioned

  608. it just now, and John witness saying I saw the

  609. spirit descending from heaven like a derth, and he remained

  610. upon him. I did not know him, but he who

  611. sent me to baptized with water. So God the Father

  612. sent John the Baptist to baptize with water, and said

  613. to me upon whom you see the spirit descending and

  614. remaining on him? This is he who baptized us with

  615. the Holy Spirit. Amen. And you heard last week Eloping

  616. who said baptists on the Holy Spirit. Who Jesus is

  617. gonna baptize us with the Holy Spirit? Amen? Okay, I

  618. think I have to move quicker? What time is it?

  619. What I'm doing? End? No, we're not done yet. Sty

  620. got some juicy stuff. Okay, let's look at after Jesus

  621. said Riason from the Dead John, chapter twenty, verse twenty

  622. one to twenty two. Your paper, nos, space? Really is it?

  623. Have to write behind? Okay? So Jesus said to them again,

  624. peace to you, as the Father has sent me, I

  625. also send you. And when he had said this, he

  626. breathed on them and said to them received the Holy Spirit.

  627. Can you see Jesus speaking to them right that the

  628. Father had sent him? So Father sent Jesus. Then Jesus says,

  629. I send you, so, Father said Jesus. Jesus sends us,

  630. and he breathed the Holy Spirit onto the apostles, and

  631. Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit onto us. Wow, you see

  632. all three of them always working together. Matthew twenty eight.

  633. It was eighteen twenty. Y'all know the great commission, right,

  634. and I just zoom in on. He says, baptize them

  635. in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit,

  636. all three, not just one, but all three men. Okay.

  637. Second Corinthians thirteen, verse fourteen. We declare this upon you

  638. every almost every Sunday, the benediction, the grace of the

  639. Lord Christ and the love of God the Father, and

  640. the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

  641. There's a benediction. It basically is a divine blessing that

  642. we declare upon you every week as we leave church.

  643. We declare that upon you, and it involves the whole Trinity. Okay,

  644. don't just be satisfied with knowing one is God as

  645. a whole story. I'm drawing to a close, Okay, by

  646. sharing some so we really learn God is The Trinity

  647. is His unique. Three persons are unique, yet they're always

  648. working in unity. But looking at that right, there are

  649. some key learnings for us as a church and as humanity.

  650. The first one community, the church is created in the

  651. image of the tryan God, I mean man. We are

  652. created in God's image. There is commune, there is how

  653. many Our God is always it has always been in community,

  654. you see, right from the beginning, right, He's always been

  655. in community. So we also should. If you really believe

  656. we're created in His image, then we should also be

  657. that way in community. So those of you who think

  658. it's okay to just be you and God, right, you

  659. will meet some people. It's okay. I don't need church.

  660. I don't need I don't need to know other believers.

  661. Just between me and God. That's it enough. I'm telling

  662. you that's not God. That is not God's design because

  663. He himself is a community. You know, we have church,

  664. we have homes. How is happening this week? Don't miss out?

  665. We have hangouts? Pick up all hanging hangouts happening happening now?

  666. Edmond John and Edminson Ye and those of us who

  667. have immersed ourselves in these communities have found our lives

  668. so much more fulfilling. Don't you think Yeah, our faith

  669. is not to be lived alone stivally. He can bring

  670. up the next light next. Okay, there's the first one

  671. that I put down. Our God is always has always

  672. no first point, has always been in community, so we

  673. also should be just three points. Okay, As closing second point,

  674. like I said, God's very own nature is relational. The Father,

  675. the Son, the Holy Spirit, they are relational and us men, women,

  676. humans being created in His image. We can only discover

  677. our true identities and our purpose while in relationship with others.

  678. Did you ever think of that? If you're by yourself

  679. right your whole life and don't interact anybody, what is

  680. your identity? What is your purpose? Today the world we

  681. see a lot of individualism, right, it's all about me,

  682. my time, who I am. I mean, don't care what

  683. other people think or see or But if you look

  684. throughout the Bible, right you read the early books Exodus, Genesis, Exodus,

  685. Deuteronomy numbers a lot of genealogy right or before sleep

  686. right reading the genealogy. No likes reading the son of

  687. son of son of son or son of son of

  688. Why is it so important? I mean, why do you

  689. think the Bible writer as a whole chapter of son

  690. of son or son of most of us just keep it.

  691. I know, I skeep it because I'm like, oh, I

  692. can even read half halfway through, you know. But it's

  693. so important because your individual PERSONHO is actually defined by

  694. your relationship with others, with your family, with your tribe

  695. a tribe hereast Malasia, without tribes where you came from.

  696. And that's why shame and honor actually affects more than

  697. just ourself. Right, if you do something that is shameful,

  698. it's not just us affected on your whole family. And

  699. if you and if you're honored, your whole family is honored.

  700. Your church, right, always say, don't those simplistic you know,

  701. the bumpustickers church bumpustick in your car and then showing

  702. fingers driving like a mad person. Why because you represent

  703. your church? You know we are we are representation of

  704. ex church maybe God missions. You always tell the teams

  705. be aware, not just when you're ministrying, you know, when

  706. you're out eating, when you're staying with your hosts. All

  707. that people see you. You are the identity of the church.

  708. WHI and if we do something that leaves the negative impact,

  709. the church gives a bad name. They won't remember you,

  710. remember the church that sends you. Yeah, So it is

  711. the people, it's the groups. It's the culture that surrounds

  712. us that often makes us who we are, how we think,

  713. how we function in the world. So it's so beautiful

  714. we have this community. We shape one another, we wrap

  715. one another the wrong way. So, but it's okay, we're learning.

  716. We learn from each other. Iron charpens, iron immn. Okay,

  717. you've seen one. To The third point to bring a

  718. cross is as God the Father is one with his son,

  719. yet he's not the son. You saw that right, He's unique.

  720. God the Father is one with the Son, but he's

  721. not the son. We too are made to be united

  722. with others and yet be unique. We are still unique

  723. from each other. Remember that one is not sameness. So

  724. when we come together we talk about the church be united,

  725. doesn't mean like we all dress the same and we

  726. all talk the same, and our thoughts are the same

  727. and our gifts are the same. No, we are still

  728. unique from one another. But unity. Jesus prayed that the

  729. Church should be united, and we look at the body

  730. of Christ. Right in First Corinthians, Chapter twelve, verse twelve

  731. to fourteen, yeah, the bank can come up. Do I

  732. have that verse there? If not? First Corinthians, Chapter twelve,

  733. verse twelve to fourteen. Let's just read about the Body

  734. of Christ twelve to fourteen. It says for us, the

  735. body is one and has many members, but all the

  736. members of that one body being many our one body.

  737. So also is Christ. For by one spirit we were

  738. all baptized into one body, where the Jews or Greeks,

  739. where the slaves are free, and have all been made

  740. to drink into one spirit. For in fact, the body

  741. is not one member but many. We are many. Right

  742. we are. We are not the same. It's our diversity

  743. and our different gift things and strengths that make us

  744. beautiful together in the first place. Right, because we are

  745. not the same, we need one another as well, and

  746. we are better together. Go and look at your neighbor

  747. and say we are better together. Say I need you,

  748. Tell your other name, I need you, and tell other

  749. name you need me to. The Bible makes it clear

  750. that all of us have been given gifts of the

  751. Holy Spirit. All of us have been giving gifts by

  752. the Holy Spirit, and the only expression of them is

  753. in the context of community. Right, if you're to give

  754. the Holy Spirit, but no one to express it to

  755. what's it for? So it's so important, and it's always

  756. for the good of others, whether within the church or

  757. outside the four walls. So in your schools, in your workplace,

  758. with your families, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are

  759. for for their good right, not just us. And you know,

  760. in the days to come, we will hear more about

  761. the five four ministry, about the gifts of the Holy Spirit,

  762. because as the Church, we really want to we want

  763. to desire more of the Holy Spirit. We want to

  764. move in the gift things that God has given us.

  765. But on the end, with this, even before we desire

  766. the gifts, let's first desire the giver of the gifts.

  767. Hey man, Let's desire the giver of the gifts. I

  768. think Elope who read this last week as well from

  769. Luke chapter eleven, verse thirteen. It's the last verse I

  770. leave with you Luke eleven, verse thirteen. If you, then,

  771. being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,

  772. how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy

  773. Spirit to those who ask him. And I don't want

  774. us to rush the ending today, You'll need one service,

  775. So we have a little bit of lee way and

  776. this morning I want to open the altar. Yeah, okay,

  777. with that, I want to open the altar for those

  778. who have not yet received the Holy Spirit. You believe

  779. in Jesus, if you invited Jesus to be your Lord,

  780. your savior, you've invited him into your heart, but you

  781. have not received the Holy Spirit. And the Pinghr spoke

  782. about it as well. You know the apostles in that day,

  783. they weren't satisfied until the believers received the Holy Spirit.

  784. Not enough just to believe in Jesus, but let's receive

  785. the infeeling of the Holy Spirit, the baptism of the

  786. Holy Spirit. And if you're here and you're not sure,

  787. maybe I did at some camp. I'm not sure that

  788. it's for you as well. Okay, because those of us

  789. who are really bad places, we are sure. We know it.

  790. We know it. When we have the infeeling of the Spirit,

  791. we know it. We are operating under his power. And

  792. it just says ask him. He wants to, He wants

  793. to pour out his spirit on us. Someone leaders to
