When was the last time you gave up on something? Right?

So I want to start with that question. Two weeks ago,

I was, I was in my son's sports day. So

this is like primary school and secondary school sports day

was in the stadium beside Clan Club, so our stadium

in clang And and Levi took part in the fifteen

meter race. So yeah, you know, you know, get ready

to set going, then you run fifteen meters right, and

then you know, the winner gets to you know, go

past the finish line and gets the gold medal. But

I also observed and watched this other race, okay, which

was the girls under nine to fifteen meter race. So

you imagine like all pretty young girls. They're probably in

ex kids now, those kind of age group, and fifteen

meters is killa. It's not too far like you faired

it out like it looks pretty near. But as a kid,

you know, fifteen meters is a long distance to run.

And uh, and what happened was was one of Levi's

classmates he saw Levi's eight. She her name is Siena,

So She was right in the middle of the seven people,

seven girls that were running this race, right, so they

said ready, said go and then she she runs, she runs,

and I was I was standing in the middle of

the track just watching that because it was right after

Levi's race. And halfway through the track, as she was running,

she lost the balance and she I think maybe she

her shoe got stuck or tripped over the track, and

she started I can watch, I can. I was watching

it in almost slow motion. She lost the balance and

slowly began to fall, slowly began to fall, and eventually

she fell. She fell on her on her knees and hands,

and I was like, oh no, I felt so bad,

like an eight year old girl running a fifteen meters race.

And she fell and I thought, I was like a

gasp in the crowd, right, and and the rest of

the girls continue to run. So she was on the ground.

She got up, She got up, and I saw her face.

It was like that threshold of going to cry, like

you know you can, you can tell that you just

got to cry already. But she sucked it in and

she got up. She kept running. She kept running all

the way to the finish line and I saw, I

saw that. I was so encouraged, and I looked at

the finish line. What I saw was her dad at

the end. Her dad. Her dad's name is Sam and

are friends with us as well.

He was like, girls, here, come on, get up running

without cheering for her. You know, she she got last place,

but that's not the point, that's not the point.

She she got up, she ran, she finished the race.

She got up to re finish the race. And so

when was the last time you gave up on something?

Let me let me show you my title this morning.

And it is the last words that Jesus said on

the cross. It is finished, it is finished. I want

to say that Jesus did not let anything keep him

from reaching his destiny. He did not let any circumstance

or difficulty or challenge keep him from reaching his destiny.

He fulfilled his call to save humanity, conquering sin, death

and sickness by dying on the cross for us. Yeah,

you know these words are in the gospels all for

and John nineteen thirty saysies, Jesus completed his mission and

declared it is finished, and gave up his spirits. So

if you're new here and you don't know why we

celebrate Good Friday and the Resurrection Sunday. Let me give

you a quick summary of what happened. And Jesus, the

name that we were singing about just on worshiping, this

person that we adore and love, he in summary, paid

the ultimate price for our sins. He was the son

of God, and he came down to earth to give

his life as someone who is blameless, someone who has

not done any wrong, someone who's not even deserved to

be in humanly formed, because he is God. And he

went through this really torturous, difficult, challenging betrayal right and

died on the cross for us to accomplish his mission

to save all humanity from sin and death. And the

verse that sort of kept sort of kept resonating with

me was actually this prayer that Jesus prayed on the

cross right before he said it is finished, and these

other words he said. He can you can see in

Matthew twenty seven forty six, My God, my God, why

have you forsaken me? My God, My God, why have

you forsaken me? He was separated from Father God, you're

separated from heaven. And he did it for us. He

did it for us, and he did not let any

challenge overcome his destiny. So today what we're going to

do is very simple, like I want us to learn

from the life of Christ, how he persevered true all

the challenges he went through and did not let any

of them take away his destiny and his plan for

accomplishing God's work here on earth. Okay, so let's go

to our first scripture. It comes from the Book of Hebrews,

and it sort of summarizes all of what Christ did

and also how it relates to us as people as humans.

So Hebrews Chapter twelve, verses one to two, let us

lay aside every way and the sin which so easily

ensnartes Us, and let us run with endurance the race

that is set before us. So Siena, that girl on

that sports day, she had a mission. Her mission was

to finish the fifteen meter race. Right, run, run that

race with endurance, looking onto Jesus, the altar and finisher

of our faith. Oh man. She looked at her dad,

knowing that there's someone in front of her cheering her on.

She hit a snack. She fell down. It's fine, keep going.

Jesus is that person we look until we keep our

eyes on He's the alter and finish her of our faith,

who for the joy that was set before him? And

there the Cross. Come on. Here, here's the greatest example

of this. And there the Cross despising the shame and

has sat down at the right hand of God, right

head of the throne of God. He did it all

for us. So Jesus is the ultimate example of endurance

and overcoming and finishing. So we're gonna look at his

life today. And if you remember Good Friday, how many

you were here doing a Good Friday Good Friday services

three days ago? Okay, So Jason sad a really good

word about the cross, the power of the Cross, and

he had three c's, three cs. So what's after sea? Indeed? Yeah, yeah,

So what's after Good Friday? Easter Resurrection Sunday. So I

have threats for you to this morning. I have treaties

for you this morning about how looking at the life

of Jesus, how he overcame every obstacle and across that

finished the work, and things we can learn from his

life here on earth. You know, Jesus had uh had

a I would say, like pretty short. I mean, he

he lived less than I'm thirty nine this year, something

in forties soon, right, Oh, man, life just goes down,

he learned when you hit morey. Yeah. Yeah, we've got

a lot of like champions that are in their forties,

fifties and sixties and seventies and eighties and nineties. Nineties,

got right, Yeah, yeah, nineties are good. So so yeah,

life doesn't edit forty. Yeah. But but Jesus had had

a very short ministry time as well. You know, the

Word of God says when he got baptized at the

at thirty years old, then his ministry started. And most

people believe that he had a ministry of discipling and

healing and sharing the truth for about three years before

he went to the Cross. Yeah, so today we're gonna

learn about three d's about how Jesus has overcame in

that that short time overcame all the challenges to finish

the work. And my first the is this is the

word desert, not dessert, although that's good also, but the

word desert, the desert. A desert is a place of

like isolation. Right, So I know we don't have any

deserts in Malaysia, live in a tropical country, but the

wilderness or the desert. And I sort of see this

message as like a summary of what we've been learning

about over the last three or four weeks. Right, And

I want to bring this to remembrance again that Jesus.

Maybe you can go to the scripture first Matthew four,

chapter four Versus one to two, at the very start

of the ministry of Jesus, at the very start of

when he was baptized by John the Baptist. Right, the

very next thing that happened was this was this, he

was led up by the spirit into the wilderness to

be tempted by the devil. And when he had fasted

forty days and forty nights afterwards, he was hungry. So

it sounds like what we've been through right after being acknowledged,

and God said he's well pleased with his son. He

didn't do anything else. First, he was first led by

the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Right.

I want to say this morning that there are desert

and wilderness seasons in our lives, Okay, because Jesus went

through it, even the Israelites went through it. Right, So

we look at some scriptures later and what this season

or desert situation. A wilderness situation is it's a place

of isolation. It's a place of perhaps lack. It's a

place of maybe feeling more alone, feeling like you don't

have enough or you only have what is required for

you to survive, like having manner every morning. That's a

place of wilderness and desert. And and we want to

remember that the desert is not a place we live in.

And the desert and wilderness is not a place where

we we just die and stop there and that's the

end of the road. So this morning, I'm reminding you

that if you're in this season, that's not where that's

not where we end. That's not how the story ends.

It's a process that we go through in life that

brings us to another stage. Okay, so again, what is

the desert? There's a picture here in case you don't

know what desert looks like. It looks kind of nice

like this picture, but imagine standing there and it's like

so hard, scorching, and if you want to drink, like,

where can you find a river or a or a lake.

Ca It's just so scarce, not any life, no greenery,

sand for miles and miles a place of lack. Right,

so the desert or wilderness is a place of preparation

for what is to come. Right, Jesus was baptized, he

went to the wilderness. After that, his ministry started. Okay,

it's a place of purification, testing and refining. I'll see

a quick story with you. In twenty sixteen, I was

given the opportunity to to join someone to to be

a business owner. Okay, in twenty sixteen, so that that's

almost nine years ago, right, And I was already working

in a pretty big like consultancy firm. They had like

two hundred other people, and and I just felt like

it was the right step to take, Okay, thinking that

I'm gonna have I'm gonna be a you know, a partner.

I'm gonna be a boss. I'm gonna be a boss.

I'm gonna like have my own time. I'm gonna go

to work anytime I want to go. You know, the

money's gonna keep coming in. You know, I'm gonna I'm

wanna be able to better provide for my family, flexibility,

stuff like that. Right, So what happened was kind of

like the complete opposite of what I imagine it to be. Uh, it.

It was really like a wilderness season for me for

my career. H. So what happened was this, like I

from being a very big team with corporate culture and

like different people you can see wearing different clothes every day,

like I don't know that kind of thing, like you know,

conversation and he went to just seeing one person every

day the same phase, very isolating, very like lonely sometimes.

And because we were a startup, so like we had

to almost like back for business from people because we've

got no track record, We got no we have no

history of work that can be done well. So every

time a client requests us to study the proposal, like,

oh yes, finally we get a chance to at least

code for a project, right, and then the chance doesn't

mean anything, doesn't mean work coming in. Uh. It was

very challenge and to me it was a time where

it was preparation for what was to come. Right then

as as we were sort of growing a little bit,

we went from two people to four people. And then

in twenty twenty, y'all know what happened in twenty twenty. Uh,

there was the pandemic and COVID hit and then it

was another hurdle because from from then, you know, there

was a lot of lack. No no one paid us

for three or four months as a company, and guess

whose salary gets cut first? The bosses are right. So

we took up, We took a pay card and very

challenging time and sort of just cutting short that whole

journey to about two or three years ago. Now now

we are about twenty five people, so we've come a

very long way. But I was reflecting on this. I'm

not saying that it's easy now. You know, even with

the Israelites when they went to the Promised Land, guess

what they were doing. They were fighting battles, they were

conquering other nations. There's still challenges and battles in the

Promised Land. But what I caught was this where I

am now. If God gave me this size of team,

gave me this office, gave me this amount of clients

that we have already, gave me this amount of work

on the first day of starting this journey, like I

think I would have failed, I would have given up.

I would have not done well, like we probably would

have just gotten trash. But all our clients were not

doing a good job. But the journey that we took

in this company was one that caused a lot of

refinement for me, a lot of purification and learning. And

the process I went through really brought me through that. Right.

So let's look at two scriptures. I put them side

by side of a wilderness season or a desert season

for the Israelites, so we know, I think Jason Pritch

about this as well. Jesus went through that wilderness season

for forty days and he came out. He was tempted

by the devil, and he came out with flying colors.

He's a son of God, right, he's perfect. We learned

from him. But there's another group of people that also

went through the same process, but they didn't do so well,

so we want to learn from them as well. And

this was the Israelites coming out of Egyp right. So

on the left you see in the book of Exodus,

God had a plan to lead them not directly into

the Promised Land, but go through the desert first. So

when Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead

them on the road through the Philistine country, though that

was shorter, for God said if they faced war, they

might change their minds and return to Egypt. Same like me.

If I'm going to the challenges that I am going

through today right now, and backtracked nine years ago, I'm

saying I'm not I'm not doing this anymore. I'm going

back to my old old life, right I'm going to

go back to what I was doing before. So God

intentionally led them to another way, which is through the desert.

So God let the people around by the desert road

toward the raid. See, the Israelites went up out of

Egypt ready for battle. Okay, let's look at numbers. So

later on there was basically a lot of complaints, a

lot of murmuring. You know, remember when they were about

to take the Promised Land, they sent twelve spies right

to go and look out the land to see the

potential for the future. It's gonna be good. God is

with us. We're gonna conquer. It's gonna be victorious. But

ten of them came back saying, like, no way, we're

not going in there. There are giants in that land.

Then God said this, The Lord was angry with Israel

and made them wander in the wilderness for forty years

until the entire generation that sin in the Lord's side

had died. Right, take a guess on the left side

in the Book of Exodus, how long it will take

for the Israelites to travel the same distance. Anyone want

to do a guess? Two weeks? Yeah, two weeks. I

mean most people say about eleven days two weeks they walk.

So what was supposed to be a two weeks wilderness

experience of learning, of getting ready for battle of training

became forty years of wandering in the desert and slowly

letting all the doubtful people and unbelievers die off. Right.

I have a statement that I quote in paraphrases from

John Bevia. I can't find the exact statement, but I

remember something like this last so I just want to

quote him. He said, you can't avoid wilderness seasons. So,

like we know, Jesus went through the desert, it realized

it as well. You can't avoid it. It's part of

our process or preparing for what's to come. But you

can prolong it. You can make the process really, really

long and gruesome, or you can use that time to

understand what God is saying to you or me and

learn from it. So again, today's rad direction Sunday, If

we're learning from Jesus how he did not let this

desert experience stop him. Imagine if he had to take

forty years in the desert, they're like, oh no, you'll

be delayed love by the time you'll be like seventy

years old. I'm just like just putting it out there.

But he did not. He's perfect, He's God, He's Jesus.

So how do we how do we overcome how do

we pass the tests of illness seasons? Go back and

listen to jesuons Jason's podcast. He shared a bodies really

well he tried. He shared three three ESSs if you

remember about how Jesus went through that temptation in the

desert as well. But in short, we need to know

that it's temporary. We need to know that the desert

is the time that we learned, and we need to

know that God is using this process to purify us,

to refine us, to moral us into what we need

to do for the next season. So therefore, we need

to realign ourselves to God's words in this season. We

need to make sure that that you know, we are

hearing from the Holy Spirit what is happening in our

lives and allow God to purify us. Right. If not,

the season will be prolonged, okay, to forty years or longer.

So don't let the desert stop you. If you're in

a season of isolation right now, it's not a place

where you're meant to be for very long. Let's use

it as a place to listen to God and move

on to the next season. Okay, Next D. Next D

is divided divided, number one desert number two divided. I

wanted to bring another D to you, And it's actually

a difficulty difficulties in our lives, because difficulties often our

reason to like give up lah or say, you know,

I'm done with this, But I believe it goes deeper. Okay,

let me take you first to this prayer that Jesus

prayed in the garden, gets said, Get said to me,

get semony, Get semony in the garden, Get semony. And

he prayed this prayer. We sort of always puzzled me. Okay.

So in look twenty two it is again in three

of the four gospels. It's not in the Gospel of John.

If you red you've been following Joe, he didn't pray this.

But the other gospels has this. He prayed this prayer

Louke twenty two forty two. Father, if you are willing

take this cup from me, yet not my will, but

yours be done. Father, if you are willing take this

cup from me, yet not my will, but yours be done.

So difficulties and challenges are part of life. Right, if

you open the Bible up this morning, it gave you

this scripture from a Book of John. Like you know,

in this world we have trouble, We will have trouble,

we will have difficulties. Is not going to be a

smooth journey being a human. There will be many challenges

that's up ahead of us. So that's not a reason

for us to give up. That's not a reason for

us to give up on our destiny. But he told

us to take heart, for he has overcome the world. Right.

So this, this scripture here shows me that that tension

that Jesus went to as being fully God and fully

human rights as human. I know that my destiny and

difficulty ahead is going to be very challenging. You know,

he prayed this prayer on Friday, right before going to

the cross, knowing that people are going to come. His

betrayer is going to come. The Pharisees are gonna come,

and they're gonna torture him. They're gonna say lies about him,

They're gonna ridicule him, shame him, put him through so

much physical pain on the cross. So he knew that

that was coming, and therefore he prayed this to God

like a very transparent and open prayer as the son

asking his father, is it possible for me to not

do this right? But we see that he did not

let this difficulty be be the last step of his life.

He continued on saying, yet not my will, but yours

be done. So you see this division that often we

have between us as well as humans, like ah man,

you know just how we see a couple of examples

of when was the last time you gave up? Right?

You're divided between Okay, I need to do the right thing.

I need to wake up this morning and do my

devotion because I know you will do good for me.

You will, you will give me life and cause me

to be fruitful. Then you are like on the other hand,

like I want to just sleep in a little bit

more on the snooze alarm a bit more. We have

this tension and balance as humans, just like Jesus had,

being divided and pulled and having this this tension between

being answering God's will and being obedient and living out

our fleshly desires. Right, I have a you know, the

other thing that has happened to me over the last

eight nine years was this. If you remember, when LEVI

was born, I was commissioned to be a lay pastor

in church. And uh so that has been almost ten years,

and a lay pastor basically means like I'm not I'm not,

uh I'm not, I'm not on the payroll for church,

but uh but I have the responsibility to to also

give pastoral care and lead the ministry. Right, And I've

always had this tension. I mean, honestly, la in my

own walk, it's kind of yeah, it's recorded, so I

gotta use my not I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.

But but there's this tension. If you understand my situation,

maybe you guys are in this as well, Like I

actually have a I have a excuse to give for

everything when you know, like, if let's say I'm a

lay pastor and there's there's the very important thing I

need to do as a pastor heavy responsibility and and

you know, maybe maybe taking up a funeral service, right,

so they want to pastor, they go and take it

up and lead it. I have this excuse I can

give like I'm just a lay pastor, so I mean

I'm not paid by the church. I mean, you don't

do that for that reason, right, But but but it's

very easy to fall into that mindset. Or you can

work the other way around, Like you know, in a marketplace,

I'm I want to be a good testimony. I want

to to give my one hundred percent to the business

in building this team. I can also say, like, you know,

I'm a lay pastor. I've got a lot of ministry

work to do on weekday nights. So you know, I'm

not gonna spend that extra effort to do well in

the marketplace. If you haven't heard this before, it's a

very real challenge to me, or I think for all

the leaders as well. Here you're like divided, you're like

divided to either one. But what I see is Jesus

he did not let this, being fully God, being fully

human cause him to give excuses to any He did

not give an excuse like, oh, I'm fully human, God,

you you called me to be human? Right, So how

can a human go through this torture of going through

the cross of being whipped or being ridiculed when I

did not even deserve this right? Or when he was

in the desert, he could have, he's fully God, he

could have called down the angels. In fact, in fact,

right after this prayer, when when the when his betrayer

came Judas, a scaret came, and the army and the

Pharisees came to take him and crucify him. You know

what Peter did. He took out a sword and slashed

the ear of one of the army persons. And Jesus

said stop uh, And he said this statement. You know

this is my this is the will of God. And

do you do you know that I can actually call

an army of angels right now to just change his

whole situation. Right? He could have, He could have, but

he did not because he was fully God. But he

still did not use that as an excuse to go

through what his purpose was on earth. Right, we see

the same thing with pilot. Pilot, not pilot flying a plane,

but pilot, the Roman leader for that day, he was

so divided in in this putting judgment upon Jesus. Right,

he's like telling the people when they brought Jesus to him,

crucify him. And he said, this man, I do not

find anything wrong that he has done. He's innocent. But

he was so pressured by the Pharisees in giving up

Jesus and crucifying him. It's like he's the most sweet

kind of person like I've ever seen. I don't know

how he became a leader as well. Right, if he

did the right thing, if he was someone who wasn't

divided in his resolute he would have said, this man

is innocent, I'm not going to crucify him. But he

gave in to the people. Even Judas iscaried also the

same thing. His faith wasn't strong. He was a disciple

of Christ, one of the twelve, but he gave in

to greed. He gave in to money, and the moment

Jesus was crucified and died, he felt the guilt that

thirty thirty coins and hung himself. So those are bad

examples of not having a resolute, authentic faith when we

are going through difficulties. Let's look at James chapter one.

So James chapter one starts off with this. I did

not put verses two and three and four and five

in there, but it's something very fulminates to all of us. James,

Chapter one. I'll read it for you. James, Chapter one,

Verse two. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any

kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

Right we said earlier, difficulties in life is expected, and

it's going to happen. So James goes to step further.

When you go to troubles, considerate an opportunity for great joy.

For you know that when your faith is tested, your

endurance has a chance to grow. Okay, And then it

goes on to verse six, and we see here be

sure that your faith is in God alone. So how

do we go through difficulties and challenges? What do we

do in challenging times? Troubles that are going to come,

do not waiver. For a person with divided loyalty is

as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is

blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not

expect to receive anything from the Lord. They are loyalty

is divided between God and the world, and they are

unstable in everything they do. Okay, so we expect difficulty,

we expect troubles. How do we overcome them? We have authentic,

genuine faith, just like how what Jesus had, not my will,

but yours be done, and that faith will bring us

through every difficulty. If we are divided like the wind,

like the waves, then it's not gonna it's not gonna

do any good for us. Yeah. So the close of

this point, I have this just summary. A divided person

is unstable in troubled times. A certain person goes through

troubled times with genuine faith. So how do we overcome

trouble or difficult times. We need to have authentic and

genuine faith. And how do we get that. We need

to go through the desert. We need to go through

the willderness and be tested. So D number one does it?

Number two divided? And number three as we close in

a short while, the last D is death. Not even

that could stop Jesus from his destiny. Right, Not even

death could stop Jesus from his destiny. So there was death.

There's no doubt about that. He died, he lost his life,

he breathed his last breath. But there was also a resurrection.

And that is the reason why we are celebrating today,

because Jesus died, but he conquered death and he rose,

and through that he has given us salvation. True, that

has given us victory over sin and sickness. Death usually

means the end, right. It's like you know, if you

if you just say it casually, all that that business

has died or so and so I wouldn't name any

companies has died because they have ceased to exist. No

more business, no one remembers them anymore. After a while, michaeh,

my my second son. I think he recently learned about

death because we lost our we lost our grand my

grandparents recently. And then he started to ask me like that, Daddy,

when will you die? Yeah? Yeah, when will you die?

He asked me a few times. Really, you know that

this question, and it's usually when I'm driving the car.

I don't know why. Yeah, because it dawned upon him

that that all of us have a fine night amount

of years and days in this life. Right, so then

one day Daddy will die la, you know, then he

won't be on earth anymore. Then his next question is

is always this, Then who's going to drive me around.

I don't know how to drive yet. Who's gonna drive

you around? Like it's not your biggest concern, Like he's

gonna drive you around? Yeah, basically his driver.

Yeah, you know it's it's sad and sobering, but but

it's the truth for all of us as humans. Like

one day our life here on earth will will end.

So let's let's look at a book of X vers

X two to any three two twenty four and this

summarizes what happened to Jesus towards the end of his life.

This man was handed over to you by God's deliberate

plan and for knowledge, and you, with the help of

wicked men, put him to death by nailing him on

the cross. But thank god, it doesn't end there. But

God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the

agony of death because it was impossible for death to

keep its hole on him. And that's the reason why

we celebrate Easter today. So take this. Our first question

is when was the last time you gave up on something?

And this morning I want to remind us that even death,

So if you look at your own life, like what

has died in your own life? A relationship or maybe

your own walk with God, you have seen it to

have just be something of the past, or have died

this morning. We want to remind ourselves that even Jesus,

even death, could not overcome that destiny that Jesus had

because God raised him to life. Right John eleven twenty five,

Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the life.

He who believes in me, though he may die, He

who believes in me, though he may die, Just like

how Micah asks me that you're going to die. Right, Yes,

I'm going to die. Though he may die, he shall live.

And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.

Do you believe this? Do you believe this? This? This

verse is so powerful because we have a hope as Christians,

as believers in Jesus, that when our life here on

earth ends, we can look towards eternity. Right, and as

I call a band to come up, I want to

bring just two thoughts to you about the death of Jesus. Right.

The death of Jesus was. We need to remember that

it was a great price that he paid. And when

we say Jesus hung on the cross, it's not uh,

it's not like a we say sometimes like a cliche,

like Jesus died for my sins, but that summarizes a

very very big sacrifice that God and Jesus paid for us. Okay,

so I want to tell you this morning that very

simply Jesus loves you and me. Jesus loves us so much.

On Thursday, the day before Jesus hung on the cross,

he was having dinner with his disciples, and he said

this in John fifteen, verse thirteen. Greater love has no

one than this than to lay down one's life for

his friends. Greater love has no one than this than

to lay down one's life for his friends. And I

think he was reminding the disciples that what he was

about to go through it was an act of love.

It was an act of showing the world, showing humans,

showing us in this room today that he loves you

and me so much. He loved us so much. John

three sixteen. We all know is by heart, for God

so loved the world that he gave it's only begotten son,

that whoever believes in him shall never perish but a

half eternal life. Let's be reminded today that God loves us,

that Jesus loves us, okay. And the second thing is this,

because he loves us so much, it shows us how

much God values us. God values all of us at

a very high price. You know, you you can ask yourself, like,

what is the value of my life? Already you asked

that question before, Like if I have to put a

dollar sum on how much my life is worth? How

much would that be? Millions? Billions? Is it the price

of another person? What is the value of your life?

And this morning, I want to say that God values

all of us the same way he values his son.

And we know that God will not make an unprofitable

trait right like he's got I'm not gonna give up

something if it's not worth it, if it's not worth

the while, worth the sacrifice, worth the value. Because God

values us so much that he gave his only begotten son.

And this morning, if you're feeling like you know, it's

been difficult, it's been challenging, it's been uh, hasn't been easy,

and and and you feel the value, I want to

say that God values you at a very very very

high price. And that price is the price of his son.

So the trade the trade off for Jesus with us.

Was it worth it to God? It worse? To God?

It was? So if we can stand this morning, let's

let's close off this morning in looking to Jesus, not

looking to anyone else, but looking to Jesus and as

the God, and as the King who loved us, who

values us at a very high price, and gave his life,

his own life or earth.
