You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day. Disciple first,
-
that's right, okay, So every year God will give us
-
a very specific direction for our church, and this year
-
the direction, the theme that God has given us is
-
everybody repeat after me, Disciple first again, Disciple first. All right. Now,
-
So in the first half of my preaching, mainly in
-
ex Cyberjaya and also different church plans, God has led
-
me to preach on the basics of disciple first. But
-
now we are already in the second half. We are
-
going to the last quarter of the year. Already God
-
is leading me to preach in a deeper way about discipleship. Yeah. So,
-
if you can just look at the image. The first
-
half of the year, my messages were mainly centralized around
-
the basics about discipleship. But this second half of the year,
-
God wants us to go deeper because we cannot remain
-
as a baby forever, right, We've got to grow. Imagine
-
if all of us remain as a baby forever here,
-
my goodness, yeah, will be stunted and execuse will have
-
more work to do. Yeah. Okay, So for today's message,
-
I've got three key points or sections, and let's start
-
with the first one. We can put number one up.
-
So what God wants to say to us today is
-
he wants us to go deeper. Right, everybody say go deeper? Okay?
-
Now what to go deeper with?
-
Leir?
-
Right? Okay, let's move to the next line. So God
-
is very gracious this round. In my twenty three years
-
in ex church, God usually will reveal the theme year
-
by year. Hi, It's like how iPhone is a year
-
by year? Right? Is it almost year by year? Come out?
-
They won't. They won't reveal five years plan suddenly. But
-
this this season is a very special season in next
-
Church because God already gave us our five year plan,
-
our five year theme. Okay, so just to recap for us.
-
Twenty twenty five, this year the theme is on discipleship. Yeah,
-
and the phrase is disciple First. But next year is
-
coming very soon already. Twenty twenty six, some of you
-
think you're Chinese New Year ready right? Twenty twenty six
-
the theme is Revival, and twenty twenty seven the theme
-
is Evangelism. Twenty twenty eight the theme is Action, and
-
twenty twenty nine the theme is Missions. Right, and all
-
this when you line up the first alphabet of every theme,
-
what does the acronym spell d R E A M dream.
-
Because this is all preparing us for something big that
-
God is going to do in twenty thirty. All this
-
is lining up setting the stage. Okay, so we are
-
just at the beginning of the runway with discipleship. Now
-
let's go to the next image. So I remember in
-
one of our huddle meetings, right our discipleship meetings, we
-
passed the Kenneth. He shared with us about the analogy
-
of a tree. And he said that for a tree
-
to remain stable and rooted when there are strong winds
-
and big storms, the roots of the tree must go deep.
-
It must be anchored deep. Right, If not, the tree
-
will topple over. Have you seen trees topple over in
-
Kke because of storms? Yeah? I have, you know, near
-
the public bank that side that road right the I've
-
seen before big trees which I thought will never topple over,
-
suddenly after a big storm topple over. Yeah. So you
-
cannot judge a tree but its looks. Yeah, but we
-
can learn that for a tree to be stable in
-
the midst of you know, the winds of life and
-
the wind of the Holy Spirit, the revival that God
-
is going to bring. We have to go deeper in
-
our roots. Okay, let's go to the next image, and
-
so passa knnot painted this picture. Next year, the theme
-
is going to be revival for ex church, and the
-
winds of God are going to come strongly. And when
-
the wind of God comes strongly, things are going to
-
get messy. Can you imagine, Like now, you're all nicely seated, right,
-
and when revival comes, we may have to clear the
-
seats for prayer because the Holy Spirit wants to move. Now, okay,
-
we will end before ten to fifteen, but when revival comes,
-
we might take longer because the Holy Spirit wants to move.
-
You know, can you imagine with me when revival comes,
-
things may actually get messy. Things may go over time,
-
things may get disorganized, right, there might be some stepping
-
of toes because of you know, different expectations. So I
-
know many of us call up for revival, but but
-
also cautions that revival is definitely what God wants to
-
bring to our land. But don't think it's all nice
-
and rosy. It can get messy, right, just like marriage, right,
-
it's beautiful, but it also has its challenges. And all
-
the married people here say a or so so, and
-
all the married people here say amen. Yes, it has
-
it's beauty and it's challenges as well. Same like revival.
-
But we definitely want the revival of God. But how
-
then are we going to prepare ourselves for the revival
-
of God? So when the strong way income, we don't
-
get up rooted, we don't get offended, suddenly want to
-
leave church, La, leave the Faifler, you know, blame this
-
blame that is to actually go deeper in discipleship, because
-
when we go deeper in discipleship, we're mature. Then we
-
understand better why things happen the way they do. Okay,
-
Now let's move on to the next line. All right,
-
what picture do you see here? Roots? Okay? All right?
-
So this is an actual drawing produced by a group
-
of people who specialize in studying the roots of a tree.
-
So in this world there are many professions, right, and
-
we do know that there are people who study plants. Anyway,
-
here is a Botanis you study plants? Anyone anyone say
-
about that? God? Like, okay, I want to ask you
-
to raise hens. They want to be shy, right, okay?
-
Both and is noo? Got that? Okay? Well done? X
-
kky yeah this first. Then every Sunday you tell a
-
lame joke, right, So that's why I'm telling it for you.
-
You can't be here, but I speak for you. Are okay?
-
So but do you know there are people who study
-
even parts of the tree, like the roots of the tree,
-
and they came up with a drawing like this. Now
-
can you see that above the ground the tree is
-
actually very small and short. But below the ground, wha,
-
the roots are so big and long, totally disproportionate. After
-
I saw this image, right, I never look at my
-
grass the same, Okain, And I water my grass, right,
-
I'm like, oh yeah, you look sok cheap from the top,
-
but I bet your root system is very long underneath.
-
Life has changed for me. When I water my plants,
-
I never believe tell them anymore. Yeah A small, My
-
goodness is crazy. Here's cm. So I think the tree
-
above ground, the height is probably about I don't know,
-
let's see if there is six about ten cm? Yeah,
-
but then and below the ground is nearly two meters.
-
What is the ratio? It's a lot, right, but this
-
is how God made plants naturally to withstand the strong winds,
-
and not only that, to actually withstand dry seasons like drafts.
-
So the thing about the root system is it will
-
keep growing and digging until it finds water sauce. Water
-
is the motivating factor for the root system to grow
-
for plants. So if we are planted of the Lord,
-
will we continue to let our roots grow until we
-
get deeper into God's water sauce, his water of life,
-
his river of life. Right, that's a hard check question
-
for us. And you know, all the roots are are
-
super stubborn one and super strong apparently. So I used
-
to think if you plant plants in a thick ceramic pot,
-
the roots cannot go through plastic pot. Maybe the root
-
can can grow through, But apparently the roots of a
-
plant they release this very special chemical that can even
-
dissolve the hardest of stones, ceramic and concrete. So it
-
doesn't matter even if you have a super thick ceramic pot,
-
the roots of the plant can actually grow through it.
-
And I have experienced it because I used to have
-
a rubber leaf plant uh at in my garden at
-
the front, and it grew from a little shrub to
-
like two stories high. It can cover my master bedroom
-
and the roots you can imagine, went super deep and
-
a few months so we had to chop the tree
-
last year because it was just you know, having a
-
life of his own, and I was worried it would
-
start destroying my house from underground. But so we thought
-
that okay, once we had got rid of the tree,
-
problem solved. But like I think one year later, which
-
is a few months ago, found out that we start
-
a water bill is like sixty ring it every month.
-
That's high. Right, Yeah, it's like, hey, moly, y'ao gay.
-
I used so much water. I know my I'm not
-
like to stand under the water for half an hour.
-
Yeah warm water and like, hey boy, what you take
-
so long? You know? My water electricity bill going up?
-
But it cannot be we used so much water. So
-
my husband, thank God pass jack smart. He say, oh,
-
I think there must be a leak in some pipe. Anyway,
-
somehow God led him to the garden and he noticed
-
a how come that spotter always got puddle or water?
-
And then after that, yeah, we got the contractor through
-
my dad's help, to actually dig out the ground and
-
then really found out there was a broken pipe. The
-
water was just running for like days. That's why the
-
area was perpetually flooded, and that's why a water bill
-
went up. And anyway, we got it fixed. But we
-
found out that it was that old rubber trees roots
-
that actually penetrated even through the pipes, the piping system.
-
AI.
-
Your plants, you think they're like soft, soft, but they're
-
actually very you know strong. One where there's a wheel,
-
there's a way. But I am so amazed because if
-
natural plants can do that by hook or by crook,
-
they will penetrate even the hardest of surface to get
-
to water. What does it speak of us as plantings
-
of the Lord? Will we will? We will? We let
-
our roots also by hoo or by crook, you know,
-
press through even the hardest of situations to find God's
-
water sauce his abundant life for us. Yeah, so there's
-
a question I want to leave with you today, because
-
you know, God makes the natural to reflect the supernatural.
-
Many spiritual principles we can learn from the natural, if
-
you'll open our eyes and our hearts to see. Okay, now,
-
fun fact, we show the next picture. So apparently the
-
tree with the longest roots in the world. You want
-
to guess is in which okay, spoiling, no, no, n
-
it's okay, it's okay. It's in South Africa, Okay, in
-
this place called Echo Caves. I think it's an underground
-
cave that has a lot echo when you go into it. Yeah,
-
and it is this particular fig tree. So you see
-
this fig tree, there are already some roots above the
-
ground right and under the ground. It has grown very
-
very very deep until it found water sauce at the
-
Echo caves. Now you want to guess how deep did
-
the roots grow to hit the water sauce at Echo Caves.
-
Who wants to give a shot? How many meters? Twenty meters? Okay,
-
go try next, someone, I want to hear ab tree
-
tree tries. Okay, twenty meters is a good start. One
-
hundred eighty okay, one more.
-
Five kilometers wow, wow, okay, okay, we like beating session
-
like that at twenty twenty five thousand, okay, five thousand, okay,
-
So the revealed time.
-
This particular tree which holds the world record. Yeah, the
-
routs are as deep as one hundred and twenty meters.
-
So Jaden is the closest. Woo go young people. And
-
that's the height of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Wow.
-
Anybody been to the Eiffel Tower? Yeah?
-
Wow.
-
Some of you are so blessed, so blessed. Yeah. So yeah.
-
Can you imagine a tree that probably isn't as tall
-
as the ceiling here in Legacy studios, the routs are
-
as deep as one hundred and twenty meters. Wow, wow, amazing. Right. Yes,
-
I fell for you. Okay, yes, I will help President
-
to bring up his jokes from time to timer. Please
-
know that it's him and it's not me. But yeah,
-
you know what, we allow our roots to go deep,
-
to go deep with God. No matter how the world
-
looks at us. We may look like, you know, uh,
-
little shrub. You know, people see us. I don't think
-
anything much of us, But I tell you, let our
-
roots grow deep in Jesus until we find His living water. Amen.
-
And you know what, we will be the last tree
-
standing among the people who do not know God. When
-
the winds, the femine, the draft of life comes, we
-
will be the last tree standing because we are plotting
-
to the deep water sauce in Him. Amen. So I
-
want to challenge you all to encourage you friends to
-
go deeper with Jesus even this year. Right. Okay, we're
-
gonna go to the next line. Okay, so number two,
-
we go to number two. So point we are done
-
with point number one.
-
Okay.
-
Point number one is to go deeper. Point number two
-
is what does God want to go deeper with us today?
-
Because there can be so many things that he wants
-
us to go deeper with, But what is it that
-
he wants to go deeper with today? Okay, let's go
-
to the next slide. So when I was studying about discipleship,
-
I wanted to go back to the Word of God
-
and what it talked about discipleship from the very beginning.
-
So we know that the word disciple was mentioned only
-
once in the Old Testament. Yeah, but in the New Testament,
-
Jesus is the one who introduced the concept of discipleship.
-
He's the seafuol, the og. So I went back to
-
the Book of Matthew and I started to study, you know,
-
what does our seafool say about discipleship? So in Matthew
-
Chapter four, verse eighteen to twenty two. We're not gonna
-
read it today. I'm just giving you a background. It's
-
the first mentioned about discipleship, where Jesus started calling his
-
first disciples. Okay. Then after that we move on to
-
the next slide. Then in Math chapter forty Matthew chapter four,
-
verse twenty two to twenty three to twenty five, we
-
read that after Jesus called his first few disciples, straight
-
away he get into actionaridy, doesn't wait too long, doesn't procrastinate,
-
He straightway gets into teaching, into preaching, into healing, ministry, deliverance. Okay.
-
And then we move on to Matthew chapter five, six seven.
-
And this is a very very famous portion of the
-
Bible known as the Sermon on the Mound. Yeah, this
-
is where the Lord's prayer is found. This is where
-
it is found. You know, if you you know you're
-
angry against someone, you already commit murder in your heart.
-
If you look at someone last fully, you already commit
-
adultery in your heart. Yeah, this is where all these
-
very famous teachings are found. Right, Okay. Then we move
-
on to Matthew chapter eight, verse one to seventeen. So
-
after Jesus taught, after he preached, he actually demonstrated in action,
-
he continued to heal different ones. So can you see
-
the pattern? After Jesus called his first disciples, he taught,
-
he preached, he heal, delivered people. That sermon on the
-
mound came, he taught, he preached. After that, he straight
-
away go into action. He healed people. So Jesus taught,
-
he preached, and he healed people over and over again.
-
But would you notice that all this is still Jesus's part?
-
How about the disciples? All this Jesus is working hard,
-
you know, to teach, to preach, to heal. But what's
-
happening with the disciples? Right? So that's the next part
-
I want to bring us to, which is Matthew chapter eight,
-
verse twenty three to twenty seven. And that's where we're
-
gonna turn to read to today. So if you have
-
your Bibles, please turn with me to Matthew chapter eight,
-
verse twenty three to twenty seven. And I want to
-
encourage you to have a physical Bible to bring it,
-
to turn to it because it's extra special and powerful
-
to do. So, Okay, only rely on my slides as
-
the last resort. Let's not lose the art of even
-
turning to a page on the book. You know, I
-
think a lot of our children these days, they don't
-
even know how to flip to a particular page in
-
the book, because all they know they do is gourse.
-
They swipe, swipe the tablet write our book also swipe. Ah,
-
let's not lose the art of even flipping to a page,
-
especially on the Word of God. Okay, Matthew, Chapter eight,
-
verse twenty three to twenty seven. Are we there yet? Yeah? Okay, cool.
-
Now I'm I want to read for us. I'm reading
-
from the ESV version. And when he got into the boat,
-
his disciples followed him verse twenty four. And behold, there
-
arose a great storm on the sea, so that the
-
boat was being swarm by the waves. But he was
-
asleep verse twenty five. And they went and woke him, saying,
-
save us, Lord, we are perishing. And he said to them,
-
why are you afraid, oh you of little faith? Then
-
he rose and rebuilt the winds and the sea, and
-
there was a great calm verse twenty seven. And the
-
man marveled, saying, what sort of man is this that
-
even winds and sea obey him? Amen. Now we're gonna
-
just unpack this a little bit. Yeah. So this was
-
after Jesus talk preach hell, thought, preach hell. Now this
-
is the turning point for his disciples, because now this
-
was when Jesus wanted to test his disciples. Before that,
-
Jesus did a lot of the heavy lifting, a lot
-
of work, right, teaching, preaching, healing, teaching, preaching healing. At
-
this chapter, this juncture is when we see a change
-
in direction where Jesus actually purposely didn't do much. He
-
was sleeping in the boat. Jesus purposely held himself back
-
to test his disciples. Yeah, and what did he There
-
can be a message for a whole other day, how
-
our leaders by intention allowed us to rise to the
-
next level. Right, Okay, but I'm not going to focus
-
on that today. What I want to focus is what
-
did Jesus tests in his onet to test in his disciples. Okay, Now,
-
so when we read, let's go to verse twenty six.
-
I think we can show the scripture in verse twenty six. Okay, right,
-
verse twenty six, he said to the disciples when they
-
were calling him for help because they were sinking in
-
the midst of the storm. Jesus said to them, why
-
are you afraid? Everyone say afraid, oh, you of little faith?
-
So here Jesus was going deeper with his disciples. And
-
of all the things Jesus could choose to go deeper
-
with his disciples, he chose to touch on fear. I
-
thought that was pretty amazing, because if I were Jesus,
-
I would test them on can you teach like me?
-
Can you preach like me? Can you heal and deliver
-
like me? I would I would test them on what
-
I've taught them. Right, teachers, here you will be fair
-
and test your students on what you've taught them. But
-
here of Jesus didn't test them on death. But he
-
wanted to go deep in their hearts because he knows
-
that really the heart of the matter is the matter
-
of the heart. At the end of the day, what
-
God really wants to work is in is our hearts.
-
More some yeah, woman does sing our hearts because if
-
we our hearts can get it right and healthy, the
-
rest will flow out of our hearts. What we say,
-
what we do, how we decide, how we live life.
-
And and so today God wants to go deeper with
-
our hearts. Our hearts, how many of us actually sometimes
-
there to look into our heart. It's got a scary
-
place to look into it right, and how many of
-
us will let others look into our heart? No, I
-
see Jaden, big big, no hate shake, I know. I
-
also I also am like you. I sometimes are scared
-
to look into my own heart because so many crazy
-
things go on in my heart. You don't see your knee,
-
and I like it, scared for people to know my heart.
-
Ha.
-
But really, there is one person we can trust to
-
look into our hearts, and there is Jesus. Even if
-
we can't trust ourselves. We can't trust others to look
-
into our hearts because it's so vulnerable, right, But we
-
can trust Jesus to look into our hearts and to
-
go deep into our hearts. He's the only one who
-
can take all this in our hearts. We ourselves cannot
-
take it, others cannot take it, but he can take
-
whatever's in our hearts, and he can work at whatever's
-
in our hearts. So like this year for me personally, yeah,
-
as we are going deeper this year in discipleship, that's
-
been really the cry and the prayer of my heart.
-
That is, God, would you take my heart and work
-
at it all over again. I'm forty two years old
-
this year, and I've been a Christian for more than
-
half of my life. I've been an extra for more
-
than half of my life. But yet there's so much
-
in my heart that still needs to be worked upon.
-
I say, God, you know, as I enter the second
-
half of my life, I don't want to ask for
-
better health only. I don't want to ask for more
-
money only. But I really want to have a better
-
heart as I enter the second half of my life,
-
because everything else flows from my heart. So I believe
-
that's what God is also calling each of you today,
-
would you dare to let God into your heart more,
-
especially the difficult sensitive areas. So recently what I did
-
was in my journal. I drew a big heartship. And
-
every time in life I go through that difficult area
-
of my heart, I will write down in that heart shape.
-
Maybe it could be I Sally, I feel so sensitive,
-
I get offended, I put it in that heart. Or
-
sometimes I see others got a lot of nice things,
-
I envy them, or I get jealous. I write it
-
in that heart. I mean, some days I feel insecure,
-
I put it in that heart. Some days I feel
-
so angry, I put it in my heart. Some days
-
are I really purposely just rebel against God. I put
-
it in that picture of the heart. For me, there
-
is a representation of God. This is where my heart
-
is right now. Please help me with all these areas
-
that I struggle with. Even though I've been a Christian
-
so long, even though I've been in church so long,
-
even though I am a leader in church, I owe
-
my heart it also has struggles on. So God, this
-
year true discipleship, will you go deeper in my heart?
-
Yeah?
-
It's not about how long we've been around in church
-
on earth, is how what is the condition of our hearts? Yeah? Okay,
-
so we are going to move on. I'm also looking
-
at time. Yeah, so what are your What is in
-
your heart that God wants to work in today? Really?
-
Could it be fears? Maybe different types of fears. Many
-
times we humans make decisions based on fear. You think
-
about it, the way we live our life, right, Usually
-
it's because of fears, that's why we live it. Well, well,
-
there's a place for good fear, fear of God. But
-
he doesn't want us to live with unhealthy fear, right,
-
and so what could be some unhealthy fears that could
-
be in our hearts? Yeah? Think to yourself today, you know.
-
Could it be a fear of the past. You know,
-
maybe you have opened up your heart, you have given
-
your best to different ones, and you got hurt, and
-
now you don't dare to open up your heart again
-
and give your best. God is saying, would you open
-
your heart again? Don't let your past fears hold you back.
-
Could some fears be the fear of the present? You know,
-
right now I'm going through a very busy season in
-
my life. You don't understand I've got this, I've got that,
-
I've got this, I've got that responsibility and that that
-
fear is holding us back from going deeper with God.
-
Or could it be a future fear? Or I fear
-
whether my children will have enough for their education. I
-
feel about my health, how will it be? And then
-
that fear holds us back from going deeper with God
-
and all that He wants us to do. So what
-
are some fears that are very real to you? I
-
think the fear of man is very big also, no
-
matter our age, right, we feel what others will think
-
of us, Yeah, what they will say of us or
-
do to us. I think the fear of man is
-
actually quite big in our lives, no matter the age
-
and season. So be honest with yourself and ask yourself honestly,
-
what are some fears that I have in my life
-
at this moment that is holding me back from going
-
deeper with God and all that he wants me to do.
-
Is it your time that's very precious to you? Or
-
different your own family? Right? Okay? Now I want to
-
jump to Matthew chapter nineteen. Let's turn a few chapters down,
-
and I really feel this particular scripture is for XKK.
-
I will tell you why. I just added this in
-
this morning, and when we sang the songs and we
-
watched the video, it really confirmed this word. So XTV,
-
get ready to dance with me. I'm going to ask
-
you to flash up a few slides. Okay, just just
-
dance with me, Okay, all right. Matthew Chapter nineteen, verse
-
sixteen to twenty two. It's about the rich young man. Okay,
-
I'm going to read the scripture for us. Here we
-
go and behold a man came up to him, saying, teacher,
-
what good deed must I do to have eternal life?
-
Verse seventeen. And he said to him, why do you
-
ask me about what is good? There's only one who
-
is good if you would enter life, keep the commandments
-
he said to him, which ones, And Jesus said, you
-
shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall
-
not steal, you shall not bear false witness. Honor your
-
father and mother, and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
-
The young man said to him, all these I have kept,
-
what do I still lack? Verse twenty one. Jesus said
-
to him, if you would be perfect, go sell what
-
you possess and give to the poor, and you will
-
have treasure in heaven, and come follow me verse twenty two.
-
When the young man heard this, he went away sorrowful,
-
for he had great possessions. Okay, so this is a
-
true story. A young man and then he was so
-
blessed with so much at a young age. Don't know
-
whether he inherited through his family or he was just
-
a very capable, favored, blessed man. And he was a
-
holy man. He did what was right according to the
-
law of God. But what Jesus wanted wasn't just his resources.
-
What Jesus wanted was his heart. See we're back to
-
the issue of the heart again, because this man's heart
-
was in his possessions, and Jesus wanted to test whether
-
he was willing to give away his possessions. He was
-
willing to give him his heart, but he wasn't. So
-
I want to encourage us and also caution us at
-
the same time that even as we are very blessed,
-
yeah we are. I think many of us here in
-
this room are very blessed. We are blessed to be
-
even staying in Kota Kamoninga. We are blessed already because
-
it's not cheap to have a place in Kota kamuning
-
And most of us we are blessed with cars at
-
least one cars, right, And then most of us, you know,
-
have good jobs. We have good schools. You know, we
-
have good health and even if the health is not
-
too good, we can afford the healthcare. We can buy
-
supplements on rachel A Live Pharmacy. Yeah, we can go
-
for holidays, we can eat nice food. Yeah. And yeah,
-
we have our challenges, but I think most families here
-
at least are quite together, quite in Pisa, right. So
-
I would say generally we are quite blessed here, and
-
we are also trying to do what's right in God's eyes,
-
Like the rich young men. We try to come to church,
-
we try to serve, We try to be a part
-
of homes and prayer service and hddlenight and different things.
-
We are trying so we are blessed and we are
-
trying to do what is right here. But you know,
-
God actually wants you to go deeper beyond being blessed,
-
beyond doing what is right. He's asking whether you, XKK,
-
will you give him all of your heart? All of
-
your heart? I think the word all is really the
-
prophetic word that I want to live with XKK today.
-
Al l all. He's saying, XKK, you are very blessed.
-
I bless you, and you are good servants. But beyond
-
all that, would you give me? You're all? You're all?
-
And what would they all mean to you? How do
-
I know this is the word for you all? Because
-
I keep saying throughout today's worship service, I kid you
-
not XTIV. Can you put up that slide that says
-
hallelujah one of the worship songs, al but le hallelujah?
-
Which song is that guiding like the bridge? Right?
-
Halleluyah?
-
Okay, just just put that word up for me, please, Okay, Hallelujah.
-
We have sung it one hundred thousand million times in
-
our life, and I've never seen this revelation, at least
-
for me, maybe for you, God, bless you. But when
-
I was worshiping, the word A L L just jumped
-
up at me, all hallelujah and the word all just
-
jumped up at me. And then I got convicted. You know,
-
I'm like I felt the Holy Spirit say, Jill, you
-
sing Hallelujah so easily, But do you mean what you
-
sing when you sing halle Louijah? Are you really saying
-
that God, I give you my all? Or am I
-
singing it as lip service?
-
Okay?
-
None? We go on to Jesse's video, the Iskanda testimony video.
-
Can we just play the starting and I'll tell you
-
when to stop. Okay, let's do some word search today.
-
Where else can we find all? Okay? Go on, sorry, Jesse,
-
wait to mute you this round? Okay, go on stop? Okay,
-
tell me where is al found in this sentence? Say again, challenging,
-
You're right? And then the Holy Spring sport again to
-
me and say, hey, you know, even when it's challenging,
-
you can give me all. You can give me off.
-
Oh so not just when we sing hallelujah, got once
-
at all, when we're on the mountaintop, got once at all,
-
But even when we're in the valley, our valley another
-
a l there. I just got it on the spot.
-
God wants us to give us out all, even when
-
it's challenging. He wants us to give us our all.
-
We go on with that video, got one more, all
-
that spotted one more, one more?
-
Mhm okay stop.
-
O wait oh yeah, okay. Where is the word all
-
found in this sentence? All the call call, we are
-
called to give out all?
-
Really?
-
So what every time I worship right and throughout the service,
-
I sit down, so I keep seeing the word all, all,
-
all all popping up at me. And I really and
-
actually even this morning and last night that the word
-
aol just kept appearing to me. But I was a
-
little bit not sure, like God, should I share it
-
with x KK?
-
Yeah?
-
But then I saw all this. I cannot run away ready,
-
like Jonah, I cannot run away. It's too bright and
-
glaring before me. I have to be faithful to speak
-
God's word. If not, he will hold me accountable. Jill,
-
why you never asked me to tell my people what
-
I want them to know. Ha. So I don't want
-
to go through that with God. So I will say
-
what you are to say God, And I'm gonna end
-
with this. You know, really, SKK, you are at a
-
good place. You are blessed, you are favored. You know
-
you are in a comfortable place in life.
-
Uh.
-
And you are you are good and faithful servants. You
-
know you're trying your best to do what's right before
-
God's eyes. You're serving in his house. But yet God
-
knows that there is still more that you can give
-
to him. He's saying, would you give me all? And only?
-
You know what is that all for you? You know
-
what will make up there all for you? So would
-
you be willing to give him your heart? And you're
-
all even this day and you know this season, and
-
see how He will move in and through your life? Really,
-
you know, I want to jump all the way to
-
and then we want to pray. Extreme can come up ready.
-
I just want to spend a bit of time pray. Yeah,
-
let's jump to Matthew chapter sixteen, or go back a
-
bit Matthew chapter sixteen, Verse twenty five to twenty six.
-
Matthew Chapter fIF sixteen verse twenty five to twenty six.
-
What happens when we give God out all? Okay, let
-
me read verse twenty five. For whoever would save his
-
life will lose it. But whoever loses his life for
-
my sake will find it. Verse twenty six For what
-
will it profit a man if he gains the whole
-
world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man
-
give in return for his soul? And so xkk? When
-
you there to give your all to God, starting with
-
your heart, because that's where everything else in life flows
-
out from. If you dare to let God go deeper
-
in your heart and work at areas that need to
-
be worked on, you will find the life that you
-
desire and so much more. The life that you desire
-
and you need is not found in the outward doing
-
a must do this more, must get this more. That
-
is not the life that you really want. And that's
-
not the life that God wants for you too. And
-
that's not the life that you need. But the true life,
-
life that you are one and God One's for you
-
and you need, is found when you're giving your all
-
beginning of your heart. So I know we don't always
-
talk about God. Look into my heart. God work in
-
my heart ware it needs to be worked. But I
-
feel today this is God's call to you, particularly XKK.
-
When I spoke in x Clang two weeks ago, God
-
also gave a word for ex Clang and it was
-
just for ex Clang, And I feel this word is
-
really for XKK today and those of you who are
-
tuning in today. No mistake or chance you are tuning in,
-
but God's word is for you today as well. We
-
hope you've been blessed by this message. For more information
