  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So this year in Next Church, our team is disciples first,

  4. and that's something that we truly believe that as a

  5. community of believers, it's not just coming on a Sunday

  6. and Kumbaya, it's really living life together.

  7. Yeah.

  8. So you want to know more about discipleship, speak to

  9. one of us.

  10. We'll be happy to you guide you more.

  11. All right, moving on to our segment for today, which

  12. is one word, and we're in for We're so so privileged.

  13. I know.

  14. He told me like, please just just say my name,

  15. introduced me, that's it.

  16. But I felt like, you know, I really need to

  17. introduce you properly.

  18. La.

  19. Yeah.

  20. So today we have Fast David y'all who's also our

  21. ex UK church coordinator.

  22. He used to be a journalist also what our campus past.

  23. He was actually trained legally in the legal profession. He's

  24. got so many achievements, but he's such a humble person

  25. and every single time I speak with him, I just

  26. feel that power that he went in his when he speaks,

  27. it's like it's really in conviction and in faith.

  28. So I really think we're in for a treat.

  29. Can I invite everyone to stand up as we welcome.

  30. Past the day?

  31. Amen, hallelujah. Come ask give God praise. So I cross

  32. this place is Jesus, Say man, here's the reason we're gathering.

  33. Here's the reason we're living. Here's the reason we're singing.

  34. Here's the reason we're still alive, because Jesus is alive.

  35. Hallelu yeah, Thank you Lord.

  36. Lord.

  37. We are here because we love you. We're here because

  38. you first loved us. And Lord, we're here because you

  39. are good. Even when we are not good. You are

  40. good even when we are not faithful. You are faithful.

  41. When we are weak, you are strong.

  42. Lord. When we are lost, you went to find us.

  43. Lord.

  44. We're here by your grace. Lord.

  45. It is you, Lord and Lord today as we gather here, Lord,

  46. we just say, Lord, we want to we wanna encounter you.

  47. We wanna Lord, we wanna we wanna fresh touch from you,

  48. or we wanta fresh bread from heaven. Today, Our Lord,

  49. we want to eat of your word today. We want

  50. to hear of your wisdom today. Oh Lord, would you

  51. right now, Lord speak to us Lord in the wild

  52. as we read your word, Lord, let it not be

  53. any ordinary reading.

  54. But let it.

  55. Let every word, every letter, let it jump out of

  56. the pages, and then it leaps straight into our hearts. Today, Lord,

  57. we don't want to have our ears tickled. Lord, we

  58. don't want to have more information. But Lord, what we

  59. desire is transformation that only you can provide. Lord. We

  60. want to be transformed by you, Lord, so that we

  61. become more like you. And so Lord, in a while, Lord,

  62. have your way, have your way in, Lord, have your

  63. way long. Let your word not return to you void

  64. an empty hander today, but let it be sold, and

  65. let it be seated, and let it let it accomplish

  66. all this mentalcomplished Lord, according to your will and your

  67. perfect plan. Lord. Lord, again, we also say this afternoon,

  68. make our hearts alive, make our minds alert to receive

  69. and to understand all that you have in stuff for

  70. us today. In Jesus na me pray, ay, man, come, ask,

  71. give God, praise hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Why do you high

  72. five three people before you sit down and say, I'm

  73. so glad I'm sitting next to you. I'm so glad.

  74. It's not an accident that a stually didn't force me

  75. to sit next to you. I wanted to sit next

  76. to you. Amen. Praise God. Let's give the worship team

  77. a big hand of encouragement. Thank you so much, Worship

  78. team for leading us and serving, and thank you so

  79. much for ushers and the excus teachers. Let's give a

  80. bighind to ask his teachers so that they can hear

  81. us all the way.

  82. Man, Praise God, Thank you everyone for serving. You know

  83. found team x TV.

  84. I'll start because you know I'll I'll surely leave someone

  85. out and I don't want to offend anyone. You know,

  86. one person good. See Poston never acknowledged me again. Uh,

  87. you know, so sorry. I'm just a guest speaker. You know,

  88. I forgive me for I know not anything, uh except

  89. that God is good. Amen. Praise God. Hi. My name

  90. is David and it's my privilege to serve you today

  91. by delivering God's words. And first and foremost, I just

  92. want to say I love this service. I love this church.

  93. If you're visiting and you're looking for church, my humble

  94. recommendation is look no further, look no further. This is it.

  95. Welcome home. Amen. This is a good church, This is

  96. a good service. I love the one thirty PM gang.

  97. Don't tell the other services that you know as as winning.

  98. Our chatperson said that it being my wife and of

  99. a Sunday because he he gets excited, he makes noise sometimes.

  100. Uh and uh, you know, we we had the privilege

  101. of serving us you know, God's church ex.

  102. Church actually in the UK.

  103. And so just in case you're wondering, yes, we have

  104. an overseas family all the way in the UK.

  105. Uh.

  106. We have three church plans in London, Bristive, Edinburgh. If

  107. you're ever in those cities, if you know anyone working there,

  108. traveling there, studying there, please let us know. We'll love

  109. to connect with them and uh, you know, reach out

  110. to them and and and you know, apreciate good news

  111. to them if they haven't heard the good news or

  112. help them to route down. Uh, if they haven't found

  113. a church to route down, pray for us also because

  114. the Lord is doing wonderful things around the world. We

  115. recently started a church plan in Germany. Uh so x

  116. chuser if you are wondering, uh anyway, just gonna ex

  117. youre many. If you find the K word a bit

  118. hard to pronounce, uh, so, please pray for Doris Simon

  119. and Micah there as well. Uh and yeah, you know,

  120. so it's it's our privilege. And uh, you know, every

  121. time we come back to Malaysia, uh you know, you

  122. know we we we we often worship at one thirty.

  123. Not not only when I serve to deliver God's word,

  124. but sometimes, you know, the timing just suits me. I

  125. don't know about you. I know sometimes you know, doctor

  126. Daniel will go like you no, no, one thirty. You know,

  127. I don't know whether people come or not. You know,

  128. I am like secretly going, you know, because I'm a

  129. pastor on and you keep up. I do keep up

  130. appearance of holiness, you know, but but deep down inside

  131. I'll be like, gee, I'm not a morning person, you know,

  132. Like one thirty is like perfect or you know, it's

  133. like I get to have a Sunday, like hey, wake up,

  134. have my coffee, you know, do whatever I need to do,

  135. and then you know, have lunch and then come to

  136. come for spiritual food. So yeah, so so one thirty guys,

  137. this this this God's designed for you. You're not a mistake.

  138. You're not a mistake. One thirty is not a mistaken hour.

  139. I believe that God's plan uh in whenever I come here,

  140. you know. Sometimes you know, my hometown's in Penang, and

  141. so sometimes I when I'm back in Malaysia, I travel

  142. to see them, and so I drive back. I always

  143. make it a point to be in church on Sunday.

  144. So sometimes I drive back from benight and and you know,

  145. perfect time because I'll reach kl and and and all

  146. the services I finished, you know, like especially the eight am.

  147. I don't know what abomination people wake up. I'm not okay,

  148. just okay, just joking. You know, the night hours will

  149. understand right the night the night house or look at

  150. the people who go to eight am and go like

  151. what's wrong with you? You know, like you need Jesus

  152. or maybe that's what you're there. Ah no, no, no, no joking. Okay.

  153. We love we love our eight A M brothers, and

  154. you know, we just hope to never have a combined

  155. service to them now, just joking, just talking, just joking, joking.

  156. In spirit, we love them. In timing, we go like

  157. God help us, no, no, no, this is church. Okay, we

  158. can be real, we can laugh because Jesus is alive. Amen.

  159. Uh.

  160. And we're all brand sisters, so please don't misunderstand, Okay.

  161. So just in case you're new to me. I'm pretty sure,

  162. but I like to joke also, so please don't be

  163. to offended.

  164. You this must to just this the other surface.

  165. No no no no no no no no no no just

  166. friend friendly, friendly banter.

  167. And so whenever we're here, you know, we love it.

  168. And I just want to you know, before if I

  169. dive into my message today, just want to give a

  170. real encouragement. You know, I really believe that God's position

  171. one thirty pm for amazing things. And one of the

  172. gift things I really believe is worship. And I just

  173. sensed that, you know, the picture or the phrasing that

  174. Lot gives me is this, you know, like like like

  175. one thirty pm and and your your love of worship

  176. and your gifting of worship. You know when when when

  177. you worship, it changes the hemisphere. You know, when we

  178. worship God, it changes the atmosphere. Uh. And that's why

  179. it's so great to be in church and just worship

  180. together of God's people. It's like walking into an aircon

  181. room on a hot day, you know, like like some

  182. of you, you know, you're maybe you know, I've been

  183. away from Malaysia very long time.

  184. No, so I'm not sure.

  185. No, it feels that every time I come back, you know,

  186. global warming just becomes more real. And I melt this morning.

  187. I put on I haven't put on my suit. I

  188. put on my my, my, my shirt, long sleeve shirt.

  189. I already feel like so I think already, uh, and

  190. so I definitely know the relief and the blessing. Have

  191. you been there before. It's very hot and then you

  192. walk into the shopping mall and the acton is just

  193. the right temperature, and you just feel chills down as

  194. if God's presence is that, you know, and you know,

  195. baby really says that spiritually speaking, you know, when we

  196. worship God, when we live up the sun of men,

  197. when we live up Jesus, he will draw all men.

  198. And my encouragement is that watch your team, you know,

  199. keep going for it, you know, make one thirty. This

  200. perfect oasis in the desert of No Call. I don't

  201. say desert cal Malaysia, but you know, like sometimes people

  202. go through, you know, they look very blessed on the outside.

  203. They got a lot of money, they they look very

  204. well connected, but their life is a spiritual desert. And

  205. I pray that the Lord, you know, there's not prophecy

  206. because or not. I only start eighty eight percent on

  207. my gifting, So that's not not not only only eight

  208. percent of profit. Uh so there's not This is not

  209. my prophet it's my hope that the law will use

  210. you and worship thing. But my incourasiments is praise God

  211. your gifted, but don't don't crave gifting. Crave anointing because

  212. it's not the gift. Praise start for gifting, but anointing

  213. because it's the anointing of God that will set people free. Amen.

  214. And I pray that you guys and you guys are

  215. such a warm church, and I pray that you guys

  216. will keep that up as well. Amen. And and and

  217. you know, like you guys have have it in space,

  218. you know, worship, you know the five ws that we're

  219. going through as a as the church and homes. You know,

  220. worship is here, no warmth is here. But again, don't

  221. just have the warmth of fellowship because you like each other.

  222. You know, well you're very good, okay, you very goo. Okay,

  223. we should hang out. No no, no, you know't let

  224. that be anointing. Let me annointing, and let that be

  225. anointing of hospitality and fellowship. You know, let that be

  226. anointing where where God gives you such a big heart,

  227. where you go like, you know what, I just want

  228. to connect with you, and I want to go out

  229. across my aurl and and and connect you, invite you

  230. to my house, you know, and and and and we've

  231. got to bring back the old fashioned gift of hospitality,

  232. no Christian hospital If I be pointing your house but

  233. before if they're strangers, what if they mean you?

  234. Hum's okay.

  235. The Lord will protect you, you know by invite you know,

  236. and connect and show God's love. Amen. The Bible says

  237. that you never know who you entertained, You might end

  238. up entertaining angels.

  239. Amen. And so no continue to do that. And I

  240. really believe.

  241. And my hope is that you know, when you can,

  242. you pursue and what the Lord has already, you know,

  243. being faithful the talents that God has given you, He's

  244. gonna multiply.

  245. And my hope is that we'll outgrow this room today.

  246. It looks like we're going to outgrowd this room, amen, uh,

  247. and and grow this place even and who knows, maybe

  248. the love will lead us to to be positioned out there,

  249. you know, not not even in something anymore about out

  250. there sort of more can come, more can experience the

  251. old ways of God's presence.

  252. Amen, Praise God. That's not even my message is still lit.

  253. Hello, how are you?

  254. Church? Just want to encourage you. I'm so blessed by you.

  255. Just want to encourage you. Amen. So you know my

  256. message for you today, My wife reminds me to pre

  257. short because it says that you have, you know how

  258. the one meeting later. Uh and uh, so make sure

  259. you're pre short so that you're time to connect and

  260. time to go to that meeting. So I'm sure go

  261. straight into it. You know, I said, my, my, my,

  262. You know, my gifting is not you know, prophetic. You

  263. know it's also not pastoral. No, Doctor Danikan is very pastoral.

  264. You know.

  265. He'll be with you. He'll come out of the hospital,

  266. just go to your party, and you know, amazing, amazing,

  267. you know. But even though I'm not prophetic, I have

  268. a prophetic work for all of us. And so if

  269. you are taking our notes, the title and my word

  270. and God's declaration over you for this week and the

  271. season is hit, is this that bad days are hit Okay,

  272. I know some of you didn't want to walk out.

  273. It didn't What counts is this? You just you just

  274. you know, say while blessed and then now you're saying

  275. bad days. I hear, I reject that in the name

  276. of Jesus. You know, you start doing the ultraman stands

  277. or the cross. I don't know what shad uh and

  278. but okay, but if you notice, it's it's not bad.

  279. It's b dot A dot d. Bad days are hit?

  280. Bad days? What do what do the bad days represent?

  281. B Let me give you a go one be blessed, blessed, hallelujah.

  282. How many one blessed days a hit? I mean, how

  283. many will go? Like, well, over here your blessed days

  284. a hit? You know you start thinking it will be

  285. eighty blessed, you know, anointed in a delicious days. I

  286. don't know why, you know, just you know, but friends,

  287. I'm here said, blest days are hit. You know, some

  288. of you in the coming weeks and months and years,

  289. you're gonna experience God's blessing, you know, you know, maybe

  290. financial blessing, maybe employment blessing. Maybe the law will bless

  291. you that dream house or you've been eyeing. Bless you

  292. with children that you've been hoping for. Bless you for

  293. promotion that you're that you're that you rightfully deserve. Bless

  294. you with I don't know the different things and and

  295. and and the coming days where you're gonna be so

  296. blessed by God, so blessed. You know you're gonna be like, Wow,

  297. you know, I'm so blessed by God. I wake up

  298. one day and my children silly, well behaved.

  299. Wow.

  300. I wake up one day and Sully, my my husband

  301. is complaining that there's growth happening his body. But when

  302. we went to the hospital, turns out that six packs

  303. just coming out. You know, it's not growth on the inside,

  304. by growth on the outside. Suddenly, supernaturally, you know, he's

  305. losing weight and then six packs are coming. He's looking younger,

  306. My hand's growing back. Bless days, friends, blessed days. You

  307. know you go to word thinking that your boss will

  308. have a long papa your face. No, suddenly you go there,

  309. new boss, you know who loves you. Wow, hallelujah. You know,

  310. bless days, blessed days. I hate for some of us,

  311. some of us there's gonna be abandoned days ahead, A

  312. for abandonment A four alone. Have you been there before?

  313. He loved Jesus. But but but somehow you go through

  314. war and it feels like a guy. You know, I sang,

  315. you know, you know I laid my life at the altar.

  316. You know, you know you can have it all? Then

  317. then then how come come Monday? When I go through work?

  318. How come come Monday? It feels like I've lost it all?

  319. God? Are you still there?

  320. God?

  321. You know?

  322. Have you been there before? Don't raise your hands. We've

  323. all been there before. I've been there before. You love Jesus.

  324. Jesus loves you. But you feel so alone. You feel

  325. like suddenly like I thought, I'm blessed and you were

  326. just the day before. You know, your husband was having

  327. you know, outer growth. Instantly the next day he's having

  328. internal growth. You know, I go, oh, no, certainly, you

  329. know there are days at that right and then maybe

  330. there are days where you know you're so desperate, d

  331. for desperate. You're desperate for God to move. Have you

  332. been there before? You're praying, you're fasting, you're believing, and

  333. you're so desperate. God, God, you know, only you can move,

  334. only you can heal. Only you can deliver me. If

  335. you don't move, nothing will happen. I'm desperate for you.

  336. I'm desperate for you. If you have you been there

  337. before and in friends, I'm up here to tell you

  338. that when you go through seasons like this, and maybe

  339. some of us hear you right now. No, you're you're

  340. in the midst. Not a blessing, but you're in the midst.

  341. You're feeling abandoned. You feel like I step up by faith,

  342. But how come I'm sinking. I thought I step up

  343. by faith and the Jews cost me the water water,

  344. But I'm sinking. God.

  345. You know I love you.

  346. I know that you're with me.

  347. I don't feel abandoned. I sense that you're with me.

  348. But Lord, I'm desperate because the mountain ain't moving. The

  349. walls are still standing. You know. I've been praising and

  350. praying over my problems, but my Jericho is still standing.

  351. The giants in my life are still mocking God. I'm

  352. desperate for you to move. God, when when? And I

  353. want you to know that when you go through seasons

  354. like this, it's not because God has left you. It

  355. is not because God changed his mind. It's not because

  356. God is schizophrenia. And go like one day. You know,

  357. it's not God's or God is not bipolar. He's a

  358. one day world. He said, bless my people. Second day

  359. purss No, No, it's it's not right, it's not you

  360. know if some of you who who you know, you study,

  361. you know, you know all this AI app and stuff

  362. like that, you you understand that's a phrasing in the

  363. tech world, it's a it's a it's a design, not

  364. a bug, you know. And and some of us we

  365. you know, I want to know that when you go

  366. through the same season, it's not a bug. There's not

  367. nothing wrong. God's not sabotaging you. God's not punishing you.

  368. It's part of God's design. It's part of God's design

  369. to bring us through the different seasons for his plan

  370. and his purposes.

  371. And and and and this is not me trying to

  372. give a positive spin.

  373. Uh.

  374. This is embedded in the world of God. Let's turn

  375. to a very familiar passage of scripture that we all

  376. hold very dear to our hearts. Some twenty three is

  377. such a comforting sum it's a beautiful pum uh and

  378. and and and and we're gonna read it together and

  379. and in it you're gonna realize that the Psalm is

  380. it's not just declaring God to be a shepherd, but

  381. it's declaring that God to to to be the solution.

  382. And he's saying that God is ever present in all

  383. the seasons. That that the nomttal what he is going

  384. through the ups, the downs, the valley is the lows,

  385. the blessing, the the the challenges. That God's abiding presence

  386. never leaves us. You see that that we should not

  387. forget that Christianity is not about God blessing us. That's

  388. that's not the full gospel Christianity. It's not about God

  389. judging us. That's not the fool godspel. Christianity is about

  390. God being with us. We serve a God who doesn't

  391. wait for us to get better. We serve a God

  392. who came to make us better. That's the one difference

  393. between Christianity and every other major religion out there. Other

  394. religions will say you gotta meditate your way out of

  395. your problems. Other religions that you gotta do good works

  396. outweigh the bad them you'll receive your blessing. Other religion

  397. is that you gotta fast and pray and change the

  398. way you dress, and change what you eat, and and

  399. and and and and you know, do all these things. No,

  400. cover your head, and then God will be merciful towards you.

  401. And know it's all about jumping through the huddle, you know.

  402. But Christianity is different. Christianity is saying that God. The

  403. Bible says this, for God so loved the world that

  404. he made the first moves, that he gave his only son.

  405. You know, every other religion is like this. No, imagine

  406. I imagine imagine like I'm a guy. I am a guy.

  407. I imagine you're gonna imagine. Okay, imagine like you know,

  408. I'm single, and then I'm like trying to look for

  409. a good friend. So hypothetically say you know, uh soever,

  410. it's like, you know, beautiful today just for elicitship, profess

  411. beautiful in then girl. Okay, So so imagine imagine one

  412. day right, this this is this is this is all

  413. other religions, all.

  414. The religions, this are wow, very beautiful for you to

  415. be loved by me, to have.

  416. The privilege of basting in my presence, do everything in

  417. this book and then we will see. But Christianity is this, man,

  418. I think you're great. I'm gonna pay your dowry, I'm

  419. gonna marry you, I'm gonna rescue you out of things.

  420. And by the way, I happen to to to like

  421. some of the uh foods in this recipe. But if

  422. you would have me, and if you want to live

  423. with me, you know what would make me really glad?

  424. If you maybe you cook up some stuff here? Did

  425. you see the difference to Christianity. God loves us and

  426. then gives us his command so that we our relationship

  427. with him is enhanced. All the dues and don'ts in

  428. the world of God is to enhance our relationship with him. Amen,

  429. Because because no matter how much you love someone, there's

  430. gonna be some dues and don't right, you find the

  431. perfect girl a perfect guy. One of the don'ts is

  432. this he I love you, you love me? Were men

  433. for each other. Okay? You know, before I say I do,

  434. we're gonna agree on some I don'ts. And the I

  435. don't is that I don't want to date anyone else

  436. except you. Makes sense, right, nobody will go It's so barbaric,

  437. so barbaran. Do you know that the bride and the

  438. groom before they say yes, I do. They gonna say

  439. no to every other thing. You know, That's what Christianity is.

  440. There's no other girl except me. Worship me alone, follow

  441. me alone. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.

  442. And so that that is the heart of it. And

  443. and so in some three we have this reminder that

  444. God is saying that I am the girl who's always there,

  445. and I am the girl who enters into your affairs.

  446. You know.

  447. So let's reap.

  448. Okay, let's read three says this because I have you know, shorts,

  449. not shortshetters, I have a low fire this. Okay, Let's

  450. let's read the whole verse. Okay, there's there's there's there's

  451. only you know, normal think eighteen versus. Let's go. Okay.

  452. The Lord is a shepherd I shall not want. He

  453. makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me

  454. besides still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me

  455. in powers of righteousness for his namesake. And though I

  456. walk through the valley of shadow of death, I will

  457. fear no evil, for you are with me.

  458. Your raw and your staff.

  459. They come me. You prepare a table before me in

  460. the presence of my enemies. You annoy my head with all,

  461. and my cap runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall

  462. follow me all the days of my life, and our

  463. dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Heymen, praise God.

  464. Just six verses, very good foster, memorize and keep you heart, amen,

  465. And so mantis read. Get very blessed by it. But

  466. in it it's a reminder that no matter what season

  467. we're in, God is always there. And so I got

  468. three points for us today, right, And I pray that

  469. these three points will also help you as you go

  470. through the upcoming seasons in your life, whether it's blessing

  471. or abandonment or desperation.

  472. Point number one, Master Master.

  473. You have a master. You have a God, and he

  474. is always there throughout the seasons. There's one constant, his

  475. abiding presence. It says, you know in the summer, says this,

  476. that the Lord is my shepherd. You know I shall

  477. not be in one he leads me. Besides steel waters

  478. and green pastures, is a reminder. Sometimes we're blessed, we

  479. forget that we have a master. Sometimes when we're blessed,

  480. we think that we we are the ones. A I

  481. network my way, I did the overtime. I passed the

  482. A C C A and the C F A and

  483. the C LP and the the no something like like

  484. I I did all the hard work. It was me no, no, no.

  485. But some say, hey, when you're blessed, remember that it

  486. was him who led you. It was him who led

  487. you to a place of normal want. Can't imagine why

  488. you're so blessed. You got normal want? You know, It's

  489. like have you been to you know? It is some

  490. Have you been to a place where God bless you

  491. so much? The idea bless my neighbor, bless my nib

  492. You know, I got, I got more in more cast

  493. and then I have houses. You know I can't, I

  494. can't even more. I cannot evenore you know, you know,

  495. please please bless my you know, And and and then

  496. it's it's like he's throughout the seasons with a master.

  497. When times are good, we are not the master. He's

  498. the shepherd, you know. Do you see the humility in

  499. the summers. No, I'm at a place where I got

  500. no one. I'm a place where the waters are steel

  501. and and quiet streams, where the grass is green and

  502. the dew entries are full. They got strawberries by one

  503. side and nankou on the other. I don't know, like

  504. like like whatever right, oh man, I'm wow, everywhere around

  505. me looks like New Zealand and Cameron Hyland's had a child,

  506. like like you know, like wow, every everything it's just

  507. just serene, beautiful. I can't believe this is Malaysia. Wow

  508. Wow wow Wow. And when i'm my life is good

  509. and my cup is full, I still remember it is

  510. not me. It's never been me. It's always the Lord,

  511. and I am nothing but a sheep under his leadership. Amen.

  512. And and but then the sums continue to go like

  513. but but person, just when you feel blessed, but I

  514. don't feel blessed. I feel so abundant. I feel so abndant.

  515. But yet the summers continuous. In verse four, he says,

  516. though can we have it flesh up again? Thank you

  517. so much? XTV. And though I walk through the value

  518. of shadow of death, I will fear no evil. And

  519. and you notice this, right, God, I recognize that it

  520. is you who leads me to blessing. And sometimes it's

  521. I who walked through the value shadow death. You didn't

  522. lead me there. In fact, I might have you know,

  523. in my blessedness, disobeyed you. In my blessedness, I made

  524. decisions based on my own wisdom, based on how much

  525. my bank account.

  526. Is, and he ended me in values of shadow of death.

  527. Though I walk through the value of shadow of death.

  528. Even though I was disobedient, even though I was the

  529. one that led me to a place of abandonment, you

  530. didn't abandon me.

  531. I ran away from you. But even though the head

  532. is the truth, you were with me.

  533. You were with me, And so for some of us here,

  534. I'm telling you in love, because nobody wakes up one

  535. day to go like life is so good, hallelujah. Today

  536. I will abandon the Lord. Nobody will say that. Nobody

  537. it's gradual, it's gradual.

  538. Well, life is so good. I don't think I need

  539. to pray anymore.

  540. Wow.

  541. I can go through work every day and whether I

  542. pray or not, there is provision. Well, I'm so gifted now,

  543. I'm so only so smart. I don't need to pray,

  544. whether I pray or not. I'm passing all my exams,

  545. even the exams I didn't study. You know, you start

  546. giving those cant testaments praise a lot last week, you know,

  547. I overslept for my exam by maybe in time with

  548. half an hour to spare. Uh, and I just did

  549. my best and then I still came up with the

  550. best in the class. You know, I don't know whether

  551. it praised a lot that you've passed to go like

  552. a which which university are you studying? That that you

  553. do that again?

  554. Still be tout of the class. Okay, let's not stand

  555. out children, and you know, and no is that?

  556. Friends? You know what I'm saying, I'm so blessed. Oh

  557. I don't go to church, but but I'm not struck

  558. by lightning. Been there before. We think that you know,

  559. skip church? Oh no this following week? No, no, you

  560. skip church and they got promoted the next week because

  561. your Boston noa. You know what I'm saying. You know,

  562. And then we after a while, we go like and

  563. then we end up or in an overconfidence in our

  564. self righteousness, we end up in the valley. And yet

  565. I'm here to tell you that that we are only human.

  566. We never meant to rebel against God, but happens. Our

  567. heart is deceitful, our heart trousers. Hey you're doing good, chill,

  568. We're not. And that's why Church is so important. Church

  569. is so important.

  570. You know.

  571. Church is that friend that you know you come out

  572. from the bathroom and you're checking the mirror and go like,

  573. I look so good, but actually there's like toilet paper

  574. at the back of your bands, you know. And then

  575. and then church, your home leaders and the church can

  576. be are people who love you so much, who go like, hey, hey,

  577. before you step out of the public, there's toolet people. Hey,

  578. you're zip, you're zip, you sip? Hey, you know you're

  579. underwear and and anyway, and then you know, sometimes you

  580. don't why you talk about mine? Don't don't, don't don't

  581. look at my back and look good one right, and

  582. and and thank God for people who can see our

  583. blind spots and stop us from going. But yet sometimes

  584. even though people say hey, don't, we go like what

  585. do you know? And then we step out and then

  586. we fall. And if you're in a place where you

  587. feel like I'm in the doom of my own making.

  588. God loves you, guys, abandoned you, guys, and give it

  589. on you. God's not angry at you. Turn your neighbor says,

  590. God's not angry at you. Instead, he is with you.

  591. He is with you amen, I gotta go on here. Okay,

  592. spending a bit too much time on the first part again,

  593. that's last week.

  594. No despiration and aspiration.

  595. It goes up to say, right, you know, in the

  596. presence of my enemies, you set a table my enemies.

  597. My enemy is called bills, My enemy is called disease,

  598. my enemy is called cancer, my enemy is called I

  599. don't know this, obeediencen, angry, boss, whatever it is. And

  600. yet in the presence of my enemies you provide. That's

  601. what it means. A table got spreads a big spread.

  602. God creates a buffet table and ask you eat eat

  603. my enemies that just eat, eat, I will provide. He

  604. don't sit there and eat and let me feed your enemies.

  605. Sit there and eat and be refreshed, and let me

  606. deal with your problems. And so do you feel desperate,

  607. because sometimes when we're desperate, we pray a lot. The

  608. we we cost correct our life and hear the launch

  609. trying and say that, yeah, yeah, praise start those things.

  610. But it's not gonna be your praying fasting. That's safe.

  611. You pray God.

  612. Praise God for praying fasting, Praise God for a change life,

  613. Praise God for being realigned back to God. But ultimately

  614. it's still Him now. Otherwise we can become very religious,

  615. you know. Or the last time I got out the

  616. problem was cross. I prayed and faster for three days

  617. exactly three days. So this time I'm having a problem,

  618. I'm going to do three days again. You know. Then

  619. we become very formula and then we treat God's word

  620. like some sort of magic spell.

  621. You know.

  622. If I do my prayer fast perfectly for three days,

  623. while the mountain will be moved. It's just trying to

  624. recreate miracles about our God. Is God new beginnings. Amen,

  625. and so Master, remember when you're desperate, it is it's

  626. not your desperation and moving his love. Yeah, you know,

  627. when you're alone and abandoned, you feel that you left God,

  628. He's not anger you. He is still there. He got

  629. he He has every right to go. Like see, I

  630. told you don't go to your left turn. You know,

  631. sometimes you got friends at that right you know, I

  632. told you don't do it. Add you know, I don't know. No,

  633. I'm learning to drive again. It's like not learning, you

  634. know in Malaysia because now everything in the roads I've changed.

  635. So I need ways everywhere I go. Sometimes I think

  636. around it. I feel some my waste is passive aggressive,

  637. tells me if you've ever started before, maybe it's just

  638. me condemning myself, you know, you know, recalibrating, recaliories like

  639. that that you know, sorry, I don't know how to read.

  640. And sometimes we think that when we make a wrong turn,

  641. God's angry, and then we begin the process. We begin

  642. to project anger, you know. And even when when the

  643. chatperson comes and say, hey, you know, tell your neighbor says,

  644. God loves you. I feel condemned. But friends, don't be.

  645. Don't be even in your rebelling, God loves you enough

  646. to jump into your problem, because that's what Jesus did.

  647. God demonstrated his love for us that while we were

  648. still sinners, he laid his life for us. Amen. So remember, friends,

  649. whatever you're going through, you have a master who loves you.

  650. The truth about Christianity is this. We are more sinful

  651. and flawed than we ever that believe, and yet at

  652. the same time we are more love and accepted in

  653. Jesus Christ.

  654. You have a master.

  655. His name is Jesus, and he loves you very much. Amen.

  656. So do you feel like you're miss a turn. He

  657. loves you very much. Come back to him. Do you

  658. feel blessed? Pray to God, he loves you very much.

  659. Stay in him. Are you desperate for him to move

  660. and you're waiting? You're waiting. You say, maybe Tomorro's byvirirtue,

  661. Maybe tomorrow's virtue. How can we betru? Don't worry, don't

  662. don't be fixated with the timeline of your blessing. Be

  663. blessed by the fact that He is there with you.

  664. Amen Part number two. Right, God reminds us that you

  665. know he he's the master. But I want to sayerstand

  666. that God uses movements. Movements. Our God is a God

  667. who moves right and we are to move with him.

  668. Why movement is so important because movement allows us to

  669. experience different aspects of God. Okay, So for example, if

  670. if if you know the psalm starts with green pastures

  671. and then moves to valleys, and then goes to a

  672. place of presence or enemies, and he ends with being

  673. in the house of the Lord forever. There's a movement

  674. in the sum. The sum is not static. Your faith

  675. is not meant to be static. A lot of us

  676. will love for a static faith. God, just keep me

  677. in the green pastures, keep me in the still waters.

  678. But God is saying that, but that's not you know,

  679. like what what Waning shared? And you know, and I

  680. wrote it, so I just thought it was a confirmation.

  681. Genesis one twenty six. God says, let us make man

  682. in our image. According to our likeness. We are meant

  683. to be image bearers of God. We are meant to

  684. reflect him. We're meant to walk into creation. And they

  685. can't physically see God, they can physically see human means.

  686. And God's original plan is that when when, when all

  687. our curations sees physical human beings, is as good as

  688. seeing God, because we're meant to image him and reflect

  689. him in such a way. And and and so is

  690. God only a god a blessing? Or is the God

  691. the God who jumps into our problems with us? Or

  692. do we only serve a God who's on time? Or

  693. do we also serve a God who is always walking

  694. something behind the scenes.

  695. And even though we think that God, you're let no,

  696. we are not. He's not laid. We are just desperate,

  697. and He's got.

  698. Perfect timing to lend you that perfect job with the

  699. perfect boss with the perfect pay, you know, in the

  700. perfect company, nontoxical environment for a place so here also

  701. shined for Jesus, and and and and These kind.

  702. Of things take time, right. You know you want a

  703. fast meal, go eat Maggie me. You know the worst

  704. thing to eat. Sorry this miss me projecting, you know,

  705. working through my therapy. One of the worst things I

  706. ever tasted is magging me cup noodles. When you pour

  707. hot water, it smells like a good idea. The moment

  708. you take your first bite of God, I regret this

  709. and every other bite is just you committing to finishing it. Right.

  710. But if you want really good stuff, you're gonna go

  711. to the ra men or the noodle shop where they

  712. take time to handmake the neurals and they boil the

  713. soup overnight, not five minutes, but twelve hours, and then

  714. they serve you something. Good stuff takes time. And man,

  715. so God, you know he's always working but coming back

  716. movement right. God wants us to reflect him. That's why

  717. he brings us through the different aspects of life, so

  718. that in every aspect we experience him and then we

  719. begin to reflect him. I love like doctor Drenkan's you

  720. know testimony because you know who wants to have kinging stones?

  721. Nobody but him? Going through it allowed him to connect

  722. and allow him to connect in a very real way.

  723. No, who wants to go through a painful, a scary

  724. procedure like like what just it?

  725. But because she ran through it, now she's able to

  726. connect somebody who's about to go through it. Do you understand?

  727. God wants us to reflect him. God wants to to

  728. bear image, and and and and and I know you

  729. know this this It might not be a welcome statement,

  730. but God doesn't want you to have a boring life.

  731. God does want to her born life. We think blessing

  732. is good and stay there bless No, but this blessing

  733. is boring. You know, have you ever watched a movie

  734. where it's just blessing all the time. Let's say, for example,

  735. the new movie is I'll haven't watch it by Superman.

  736. Can't imagine Superman if only good things ever happened to him.

  737. Once upon a time, there was this boy born in

  738. this far away planet. He was so blessed that the

  739. planet never exploded, so it has never needed to be

  740. sent to another planet where he can be stronger than

  741. the planet. The end, because you're so blessed. The planet

  742. never exploded. They live happily ever after that book, Give

  743. me my money back, right right? Imagine if you watch Batman.

  744. Batman was born rich in the rich family, and his

  745. parents never died tragically.

  746. They grew up.

  747. He had a very good relationship with his family members,

  748. and then he lived long enough to inherits for this business.

  749. The end, he buck me my money by no. We

  750. we we we we love right, we love the excitement

  751. right there comes no? Can we all agree? Can we

  752. all agree? Okay, in case my my cartoon anology is

  753. lost to you? Right, can we all agree that Jesus

  754. is the most blessed person in all of chreation? Can

  755. we agree on that? Right?

  756. The answer is yes, Yes, He's not your Christian because.

  757. No, no, he is. He's the King kids and Lord

  758. of us is He's his God. He is most blessed.

  759. But did Jesus have a comfortable life. No, he didn't

  760. go like and God so loved the world that he came,

  761. and he was so loved by the world that when

  762. his mother was press with him, every inn was open

  763. to him. They said, come, we will all love to

  764. be the place where the Messiah is born, have the inn,

  765. have the presidential swede. And so he did. And when

  766. he was there, he grew up and all the villagers

  767. loved him, and so he didn't need to do any

  768. miracles to prove his divinity. He lived, and he was

  769. so good that he didn't need to crucify himself. But

  770. because he came with a mission, he had to crucify himself.

  771. The people held him back and said, no, Jesus, we

  772. love you so much, why are you doing this to yourself.

  773. Don't harm yourself. But Jesus I must. And so with

  774. his own hands, he crucified himself and he died. And

  775. because you're so loved, people gave him a big funeral

  776. parade all of Jerusalem, and he was buried in the

  777. most prestigious tomb, right next to the Second Temple. And

  778. three days later, everybody, because they believe him, were waiting

  779. in anticipation for his resurrection. And he did, and the

  780. whole town shared, and every one I'm believed, and the

  781. whole nation of Israel was mobilized, and they moved throughout

  782. the earth, and everybody swore on their life that Jesus

  783. is no, No, Jesus is the most blessed person. Yeah,

  784. he went to hardship. She is also the most blessed person. Yeah,

  785. he went through rejection. She is also the most blessed person. Yeah,

  786. he went through conflict and in people hated him enough

  787. to kill him, and yet he came back to save

  788. all of us. And so you canna understand. Movement causes

  789. us to reflect God in all of his glory, in

  790. all of his glory, not just in his blessing, but

  791. even in his humanity, even in his humility, even in

  792. his kindness, And not just that movement. When when you

  793. allow God to move you from from season to season,

  794. from error to error, it causes you to know him deeper.

  795. When the psummists said that he was in his pastures,

  796. he say that you are my shepherd. When he was

  797. in the valid shadow death, your right, your staff, They

  798. comfort me. He became God, became his protector. You see,

  799. if he stayed in the green place, He'll ask me,

  800. a goyish shepherd, only got his shepherd?

  801. Only gotish shepherd? Can he protect me?

  802. Not Sula? But I know he's a good shepherd. But

  803. it's only my inventor to Valie that he goes like no, no, no.

  804. My god is a god who also knows how to

  805. use the rod and the staff. He's a Bruce Lee there,

  806. and then he's like protector, right, And then he's also right,

  807. my provider in the presence of my enemy, Can you

  808. provide me valuo shadow of death? You know he can provide.

  809. He can then protect me. But now I'm sorry, my

  810. enemies can he yes, he can. He's my provider. And

  811. then eventually, when I in the House of the Lord,

  812. he is my rest. I'm gonna do that in the

  813. house of Lot forever, he's my rest. He is my peace,

  814. and and and and another thing. I hope this is

  815. not lost on you, right, can we flash up verse four? Right?

  816. Some of the trees is a beautiful thing. We we

  817. know it so well, we miss so much of it.

  818. It starts with like, the Lord is my shepherd, you know,

  819. the Lord. Third person the Lord, the Lord, he is

  820. my shepherd. I shall not want he makes me lie

  821. down in green pastons. So so third person he the Lord.

  822. In verse four, when I mess up, when I walk

  823. through the value share their death, I will fear no evil.

  824. And then suddenly it becomes first person, for you are

  825. with me You see, if if the summers didn't experience

  826. God through the seasons, there would not be a growth

  827. in intimacy. He goes from a God is the shepherd,

  828. and sometimes we we we we we we grow up,

  829. but we have an inherited faith. I know god' is

  830. the god that my mother believes. He's the God that

  831. heal my mother. But what about you? Who do you say?

  832. Jesus is and the sum is Only when he went

  833. through friends, I want to catch this. Only when he

  834. went through the difficult seasons did God became personal. Before

  835. that it was third person. Then it became first person,

  836. and then you go back to elaborate. But verse four onwards,

  837. it became personal. You are with me, your rod, your staff,

  838. and this says the lot's rod and the low stuff

  839. your rod, your stuff. They come for me.

  840. You make a big spread of table. If the presence

  841. of my enemies you you you you.

  842. Friends. When God brings you through the seasons, he doesn't

  843. hate you. He wants you to experience Him in greater intimacy.

  844. So if you're going through a transition, times are becoming

  845. from bad to worse or worse to good. However you

  846. want to flow, don't get caught up with what's happening.

  847. But remember the law is also allowness. Because he wants

  848. me to grow in personal intimacy with him, to know him.

  849. So I have a personal story to tell, I have

  850. a personal testimony to declare, amen, and and and you

  851. know it's so beautiful right, I mean again, sorry, this

  852. is the past Bible nerd. I'm running out of time,

  853. but record record, okay, so so so so uh sometimes

  854. is very beautiful. It is not the shortest. It's not

  855. the shortest sum. Some one one seven is the shortest sum.

  856. Uh.

  857. Some twenty three is quite a short sum, right, but

  858. not the shortest. But in Hebrew, it's made out of

  859. fifty five Hebrew words and and and twenty six Hebrew

  860. words in the middle of like, so right in the

  861. middle you got like you know, so let me fifty

  862. five Hebrew words. Okay. If you study ancient Israel numerology, uh,

  863. certain numbers mean a big deal to them, you know,

  864. like like Chinese people, number eight is like you know,

  865. and then then for for for inter issue that if

  866. you've seen the number five, it's a number of grace, grace,

  867. So fifty five is grace upon grace perfect grace right

  868. and and then not only that, right in the so

  869. right in the middle, okay, So fifty five, so twenty

  870. twenty six words in and then right in the middle

  871. three words, and after that there's twenty six more words.

  872. So right in the middle there's three words three the

  873. number of twenty right in the middle of twenty six

  874. words and twenty six words. Okay. Is this three words

  875. that we read in verse four that says that you know,

  876. though I walk through the vedeo shutter, I shout off

  877. up because you are with me's verse four for you

  878. are with me, And the ancient Hebrew it's actually tree

  879. words key ata imadi, kei ata imadi. Okay, if you

  880. learn some people today, k I A t A E

  881. m A d I key ata imadi. In your darkness

  882. of hours declared is key ata imadi. Because the English

  883. says for you are with me, the Hebrew says, because

  884. you are standing with me. There's the difference between with

  885. me and standing with me. We all you know when

  886. our friends stands with us. Not just am with you, bro,

  887. but I stand with you. Your battle is my battle.

  888. I'm standing with you even though you got into this

  889. trouble but your door is my door. Key atta imadi

  890. the next time and go through something. Say key ata

  891. i maadi is Hebrew for for you are standing with me,

  892. or in English, for you ure with me. Because our

  893. God is God who brings us true movements then leaders

  894. to greater intimacy. Part of my three My last point,

  895. Oh my tresdt st I m master movement last molding.

  896. God wants to mold you. We're men to reflect God.

  897. God brings us through the different seasons to mold us,

  898. to make us into something beautiful. However, you have done

  899. like pottery classes before, right, right, you know that to

  900. do part three or anything, you have to go through

  901. the different movements.

  902. Right.

  903. It's never just mine. You're making the mond, then you spinning,

  904. then eventually ships into something. Then you gotta bacon, and

  905. then you gotta rest it. Those of us who who

  906. bag you understand. There is the mixing stage, and then

  907. there's the measurement stage, and then there's the baking stage,

  908. and then there's the you know, decorating stage. God brings

  909. us two different movements to remind us his master, to

  910. create deeper intimacy, but also to mold us. God's plan

  911. is not just to bring us through the tough times

  912. and low times, so that we know that he's in charge.

  913. God's not He's not ego to skill like that. So

  914. you never forget I'm the boss. I bring you to

  915. the tough times, so you know that it's all in

  916. my hands.

  917. No, no, no, no.

  918. He brings us through it so that we come out

  919. looking more like him. We come out, you know, representing

  920. him better, you know. And and and it's him in

  921. Ins twenty three again verse three, it says what he

  922. restores my soul.

  923. He leads me in the path.

  924. Of righteousness for his namesake. He's the one that restores.

  925. To say restore means that there was you know. Can

  926. we have a verse three up again? Thank you? He

  927. restores my soul. To restore something means that it was

  928. one's damage. But who was it that is doing the restoration?

  929. Is God? We reserve a God who loves us and

  930. puts us through the movements so that he can restore

  931. our souls, so that he can fix what has been

  932. damaged in us. You know, the Hebrew word for restore

  933. is truth, which is a root word for repent, and

  934. y'all reading it means that he repents us. You know,

  935. sometimes we say that, well, God, I see the error,

  936. whereas I repent and God, but God saying that, actually,

  937. I repented you, and I helped you. I helped you

  938. to connect the dots. But of course God is gracious

  939. to go like, but yeah, yeah, sure, yeah, yeah, yeah,

  940. you know, it's like them young kids are good. Yet dah,

  941. I did everything. Yeah yeah, you did everything. Yeah, but

  942. I paid for that and cool, you know, and yeah

  943. I graduated from university. Yeah yeah, prays God, you graduated.

  944. Yeah yeah, I put you there anyways. But but God

  945. is also gracious and shares his glory of us.

  946. Right.

  947. So he's a god who restores, and then sometimes he

  948. leads us in the path of righteousness. Sometimes when we

  949. go like whoa, no, praise God. Ever since I joined EXTRA,

  950. I become more generous, you know, I chee, I I

  951. stopped smoking just like that.

  952. You know.

  953. I came to service one day and got enough and

  954. the crunched up the secret and never touch that stuff again.

  955. And people go like, whoa, praise the lot, and we should.

  956. But yet he says that sometimes what the Lord does

  957. is that he leads us in the path of righteousness, right,

  958. leads us into the rad path. He causes us right

  959. for his namesake's. He did it for himself. He loves

  960. you so much that he rescue you for himself, heal

  961. you for himself. Hell you're not because you backed him. Hell,

  962. hell you're not because you pray.

  963. Hell you know.

  964. And sometimes we've been there before, haven't we. We stand here,

  965. we go like, praise God for his healing. But if

  966. you're really honest, cheer never did my quiet time. I

  967. cheers quite bitter with the loutler. But then suddenly, you know,

  968. just when I was going to the doctor's report hoping

  969. for the worst, he ca me the best. But we

  970. don't share that, you know, we don't share that and

  971. say praise the Lord he heals, hallelujah. But we don't.

  972. We don't share that.

  973. Actually, he is the one that leads us for his namesake,

  974. because verse five, he says, you prepare a table before me.

  975. You annoyed my head with all so that my cap

  976. runs over. It is God, Amen, And I'm here to

  977. tell you that when God brings us through the motions,

  978. when God brings us through the bad days, he's not

  979. punishing us, but he's molding us. You know, his God

  980. loves us so much that he doesn't leave repentance to

  981. our own ability, but he steps in and then he

  982. does all the behind the scenes work.

  983. So fancs.

  984. If you're going through something, you know, and he's painful,

  985. but you know, tell your soul, this God is working

  986. something in me. He's working something in me.

  987. He's molding me, He's making me become more like him

  988. for his glory.

  989. Amen. You know, let's let's let's bring a message through clothes.

  990. And I pray that this has encouraged you. And have

  991. you loved God? Have your eyes open to go like

  992. you know what, I'm not alone no matter what I'm

  993. going through, he is there with me. And I just

  994. want to end this mensters by saying that you know,

  995. we've been saying the Lord the God, but can't tell

  996. you God has a name, and his name is Jesus.

  997. And and and it wasn't just the Psalmist that had

  998. this experience, but when Jesus came, he came as the

  999. good shepherd, the good shepherd that saw his people whom

1000. I say his people. It's not just the ancient Israelized,

1001. but all of humanity, all of humanity. You know just

1002. now I say that the shortest sum it's actually some

1003. one one seven and you know it's the sum that

1004. talks about Malaysia. Uh okay. I could be exaggerating, but

1005. it says, praise you all, gentiles, and so we are

1006. partner as well. You know, whether you're a Filippino or Malaysia,

1007. Indonesian gentiles, no non jew gentiles, praise you always people.

1008. And it was written back in the in the time

1009. by by even before Jesus came here, already prophesying that

1010. one day God will do such a magnificent work, the

1011. whole world will praise him, whole ward will praise him.

1012. And the good news is says God did do it.

1013. God came. Jesus is his name. He's the good shepherd

1014. that lays down his life. And Friends, if you're sitting

1015. here today, I don't know what you're going through, what

1016. you've been through. By wanting to know that no matter

1017. what you're going through, what you've been through, what you

1018. will go through, God loves you. And God gave his

1019. life to save you, and not just to save you

1020. and give you blessing, but to save you from all

1021. the wrong things you've ever done. To forgive you. He

1022. died the type of death that we should have died

1023. for disobeying against God, for hunting. Because when we disobey God,

1024. it's not just against him, it hurts the people around us.

1025. And and and and and the Bible says that you

1026. know the wages of sinner's death. When we sit against God,

1027. we sin against humanity, and and and it's a death sentence.

1028. And yet Jesus love us so much much. We were

1029. the ones that landed ourselves in the value shadow of

1030. death called sin. And yet he's there with us and Imadi,

1031. he's standing with us, and he took over. He didn't

1032. stand with us. He died for us, and then he

1033. rose again. And so, friends, I want you to know

1034. God loves you. Why do we invite the worship team up?

1035. And I just want you to know, friends, if you

1036. are here, you be invited. Maybe you're a Christian, but

1037. you never had a personal faith. Maybe you're a Christian

1038. but you've been far away. The different challenges in life

1039. have made you doubt God's goodness. But I'm here to

1040. tell you that he is good. The purpose of all

1041. this is so that you know the world that we're

1042. living in is broken. Systems are broken, people are broken.

1043. Everything is broken. That's not how God created the world.

1044. God created the world and he meant it was meant

1045. to be paradise. But we sin against God and it

1046. became a broken place. God saved us, healed us, forgave us,

1047. and it's now molding us so that we can be

1048. sent out not as finished works of perfection, but even

1049. as works in progress. We can already be sent out

1050. to reflect Him and to be so and light wherever

1051. we are, so that we don't add to the problem,

1052. but we add to the solution.

  1053. He's a Christianity.

1054. Becoming a Christian is not about oh, I changed my ways,

1055. I give up my evil ways.

1056. I just want to do good. They'll be moral.

1057. No, no, no, no no.

1058. Christianity is this that I am too corrupt to save myself.

  1059. I need a savior.

1060. And this savior is so gracious that even though I'm

1061. a sinner, he's patching me up and says that, you

1062. know what, there's still work to be done. But I

1063. think you're good enough to go out there and start

1064. patching other people up, and start bringing other people to

1065. come in and meet me.

1066. The great physician and so friends, are wanting to God

  1067. loves you.

1068. There's a place for you in his house, the House

1069. of the Lord, where we are invited the rest forever.

1070. And friends, you're here. You're not here a Christian and

1071. for some reason you today you just feel God's peace.

1072. You feel a pool in your heart that's inviting you

1073. to put your childs in him. Friends, I want to

1074. invite you to believe in Jesus. I want to invite

1075. you to surrender your life to Jesus. Maybe you're already

1076. a Christian, but you know a certain things have robbed

1077. you and you have left your first love. Today it's

1078. a beautiful day to come back to Him, and you

1079. too can respond by faith. You too can respond in

1080. this simple prayer. Let's pray together. And if you desire

1081. to be included in this prayer, if you desire to

1082. surrender your life to Jesus, if you desire to respond

1083. to God's pool, if you desire to come home, if

1084. you desire for God to enter into your life and

1085. turn your mistakes and into into something that can be beautiful,

1086. I want you to just pray and maybe just repeat

1087. in prayer after me, And would you say, Dear Lord, Jesus.

1088. Do you know Jesus, thank you, Thank you for loving me,

1089. for loving me, thank you, Thank you for dying on

1090. the cross for me, for dying on the cross for me.

1091. Please forgive me of my sins.

1092. Please forgive me of myself and wash me clean, and.

1093. Wash me clean by your precious blood, by your precious blood,

1094. and come and live in my heart.

1095. And come and live in my heart.

1096. Feel me with your holy spirit, fill me with your

1097. holy spirit. Teach me your ways and teach me. I

1098. now live to worship you.

1099. I now live to worship. Please you and please in

1100. Jesus name, In Jesus name, Amen, Amen, if you if

1101. you said that prayer, manty all your heart. And when

1102. you know that you are love, you've been born again.

1103. The past has been wipe clean. Please don't leave this

1104. place without talking to someone. We would love to give

1105. you a Bible and some materials that will help you

1106. know Jesus better. We'll look to celebrate with you and

1107. do life with you. But you know can invite all

1108. of us to stand and right before I pass the

1109. time back to waning, I also just want to pray.

1110. You know, I talk about some sensitive stuff. You know,

1111. blessing but also abandonment, but also desperation. No matter what

1112. season you are in, and you're desperate for God to intervene.

1113. No problems too big or too small for the Lord

1114. came v you doing raise your hands. I just don't

1115. pray for you. I might not know your problem or

1116. the extent, but God knows. God knows, and we serve

1117. a God who is standing with us throughout the Season's

1118. key it Madi, he stands with us. Lord. You see

1119. every hand lifted up, every hand represents a problem, Every

1120. hand represents a situation. Every plan represents a season, Every

1121. plan represents a pain that is too much for words

1122. to even express. But I thank you that you know

1123. our hearts and we don't need to explain ourselves to you.

1124. But all we need to do is lift up our hands,

1125. and just reaching out to you will heal us. Just

1126. reaching out to you will deliver us. Just reaching out

1127. to you or give us assurance and peace. Just how

1128. the woman an issue of blood belief that just attached

1129. just a small grabbing of the helm of Jesus' goverment

1130. can heal just like the Roman cent you who believe

1131. that just Jesus agreeing to intervene will solve all his problems. Friends,

1132. God sees the lifting of your hands of faith, and

1133. I pray that every hand lifted up right now symbolically

1134. will be like the woman reaching out for the harm

1135. of Jesus's goverment, will be like the Romans.

1136. And shouldn't say that. God, All it takes is for

1137. you to say the word, and it will be done. God.

1138. Were reaching out our hands to you, says God. Say

1139. the word. Say the word, and you'll be done. God,

1140. reaching out our hands to you as and say God,

1141. just a touch from you, and we know that we

1142. can carry on. So Father, Lord, would you just meet

1143. everyone here in their situation, in their valleys, in the

1144. presence of their enemies, in the still waters. Lord, wherever

1145. they are at, would you meet them, would you stand

1146. with them? Would you part your love over them, pour

1147. your peace over them, pour your your your sustenance over them.

1148. Would you refresh them, help them through. Know right now

1149. that they are loved by you, that they have they

1150. that they are hurt by you, and they are seen

1151. by you in Jesus name. Amen. Amen, Amen, Let's give

1152. up clap offering in advance for the breadth for the

1153. breakthrough that we received in advance for healing. Hallelujah, Amen, thank.

1154. You show you issue the line this time.

1155. Let's fall love me again, the sun Mercy Fall loves me.

1156. In the sand Mercy Fall loves me, roll the mid days.

1157. Again, the sand Mercy Fall love me. You can the

1158. sun Mercy Fall loves me. You can in the sand

  1159. Mercy Fall love.

1160. Me for roll of midday you Hollelias, you can the

1161. sunder Mercy fallolostomy you can the sand Mercy falloas me,

1162. you can the sand Mercy Fall.

1163. Hone for all of my days. Hallelujah, hai Yah high

1164. yeah high singing halleeen high yeah high yeah high.

  1165. Sing Holle hello o.

1166. Hi, just the voice this one last time.

  1167. H ho lo.

1168. What an amazing God we serve truly Your goodness and

  1169. mercy follows this.

1170. Though I walk through the valley or the shadow of this,

1171. I will fear no evil for you are with me.

1172. Key it I Maddie, what a beauty, beautiful message we

1173. just heard from passa day today. Now, if you say

1174. the prayer that we that we prayed earlier together for

1175. the first time or the first time in a very

1176. long time. Please let us know we want to walk

1177. through this journey with you, and you know, if you

1178. had an amazing time here at service, do share your

1179. experience with someone in the coming we invite them to

1180. join us for church. There's also homes as I mentioned,

1181. whereas a small group you can speak to anyone the

1182. leaders to know more about it, and you can also

1183. stream our message to go. You can listen to passa

1184. day's message over and over again, or even share this

1185. link with someone who wasn't here today. All right, okay,

1186. that's the end of service. Allow me to say the

1187. closing prayer. Father, We pray for your covering and care

1188. to come upon Passes Candeth and Sandra, or our elders

1189. Passes and church plant coordinators both here and abroad, as

1190. well as our leaders, to serve your house so faithfully

1191. week after week. Give them your daily peace and protection,

1192. and provide them all their needs according to your riches

1193. in glory, especially the wisdom to continue to lead your

1194. church in line with your perfect will, that your joy

1195. always be their strength, and that their lives always being

  1196. you glory in Jesus'.

1197. Name, Jesus, and pray Amen. Can I invite all of

1198. you to lift up your hands.

1199. Society declared of Benediction, reading from Numbers, chapter six, verse

1200. twenty four to twenty six. The Lord bless you and

1201. keep you. The Lord make his face to shine upon you,

1202. and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his

1203. countenance upon you and give you peace.

1204. Are you joyful? And this thought has been on my

1205. mind for the longest time. And many of you know

1206. that we are on this series of discipleship, right, so

1207. uh and yeah, you've learned a lot of things.

  1208. You know.

1209. Discipleship is discipline, Discipleship is faithfulness. You know, it's loving others.

1210. And then this thought came to my mind. But are

1211. you a joyful disciple? Are you a joyful disciple? Because

1212. sometimes as we go through life, we can do things,

1213. we can meet people, we can just do do do.

1214. At the end of it, we forget to be. You

1215. know what I'm saying, You can do do do, do,

1216. do do, and forget the very essence of what discipleship

1217. is all about, you know. And it's it's having that closeness.

1218. You know, in bacycles, it's called a crupt when you're

1219. so akrupt, when you're so intimate with the Lord Jesus

1220. that nothing baffles you anymore, amen, Because I realized that

1221. as we go through life, there's so many things that

1222. baffles us. There's so many things that just makes us

1223. go out of our minds. You know, we are so

1224. we face with stresses every day. How many of you

1225. here don't have any stress? No stress at all? Anyone

  1226. I don't have a Okay, I guess you're a real ah.

1227. If you say that you have stresses, then I guess

1228. life is very real. Right. And this morning at ten thirty,

1229. we had the privilege of having a guest speaker, a

1230. doctor gouchig Lyong. Don't know if some of you know him.

1231. He's one of the sort of the executives director for

1232. Help College, Help University, and he was the one who

1233. founded the psychology school, right, and he's been there for

1234. a long time. And so he was sharing a story

1235. about how we need to be resilient as disciples, right,

1236. Are we resilient or not? And so, you know, but

1237. I wanted to bring a different perspective and the question

1238. is are you still happy? You know, guys, are you

1239. happy being here? Or is that questions? They're like, oh, yeah,

  1240. I don't know. What I'm doing here a lah, you know,

1241. and you know, sometimes we forget what is it like

1242. to be a believer, to be a follower. It can

1243. be very rode, can be very routine day in day out,

1244. day in day out. Right, But today I want to

1245. bring us back again to our very very first love

1246. and to find that joy. Can you remember the first

1247. time when you encountered Jesus? I'm sorry, my voice sounds

1248. very sexy to hear, so hopefully you don't fall asleep.

  1249. It's okay, it's a bit raw, but I still want

1250. to give you my best. Okay, So you know, can

1251. you remember the first time you fell in love with Jesus?

1252. I know? Just not right when we're talking about the

1253. wedding anniversaries and then you know, we have Joe and

1254. Joline right and she's like, she's rolling her eyes. I

1255. don't know what that means. She's like rolling How many

1256. years has it been? Five years? Wow? Significant milestone? Five

1257. years are so so maybe let me just ask how

1258. has it been your five years? With a bit of shiver, Julie,

1259. how has it been for you? Fun?

  1260. Oh?

  1261. Fun?

1262. Not so convincing, la, not as convincing as uh, what

1263. what can you name me one of the greatest joy

1264. of being married, one of the greatest joy of being married.

1265. Suddenly I spotlight on them.

  1266. Lah.

1267. So Joel's playing the smart card right. He's like, Okay,

1268. let's let the wife speak first. Maybe I can cover her.

1269. What's the one of the most joyful things you've experienced

1270. in your marriage? Did y'all hear that? He said that

1271. every single thing that he does, he does it with

1272. his best friend. Okay, Julie, you have to talk that

1273. lat freedom to be yourself. You know, in a marriage

1274. where it's transparent, you're free and you accept one another.

1275. And I wonder if you can say the same of

1276. our relationship with the Lord. That everything that you do

1277. you're doing your best friend.

  1278. Wow.

1279. Nice, right, Everything that you serve in, whether you're playing

  1280. the keys or you're in X kids, you're saying, I'm

1281. doing this with my best friend. You know, when you're

1282. at work, when you're ministering whatever it is you're doing,

1283. you're like, I'm with my best friend. There's nothing like it, right,

1284. And that's what we want. We want that close with

1285. the Lord. And and I find that sometimes when we

1286. lose that joy, we lose our strength. Do you know

1287. the song that we've been singing, the Joy of the

1288. Lord Joy was okay, good song, But I wonder how

1289. for how many of you it's just a song or

1290. is that a reality? Because if you find that you

1291. have lost your strength in some things in your life,

1292. then my next question would be, maybe you have lost

1293. your joy? Have you lost that joy? Do you know?

1294. It's like you know, when you love doing something, actually

1295. no need effort, right, it feels like effortless, right, like well,

1296. like you're God dating your wife. I don't need to

1297. think about it. We're just gonna go with the floor

1298. before you know it, you know, top hours past by already.

1299. But suddenly as you go in clean house, first twelve minutes,

1300. like comes so long? How come the toadless? Do so

1301. the tia? Right? If you you don't find joy in something,

1302. it will always become like a chore. I don't know

1303. how many of you find you love your quiet time

1304. right now? Okay, love your quiet time? Okay, not many

1305. of you are. I'm a big concern whire. We have

1306. to ask ourselves. Okay, I'm not here to put anyone down,

1307. but I'm just really asking ourselves because there was an

1308. article that I read earlier this week, right, and he

1309. says this, you know, is your theology something that you experience?

1310. Think about it is whatever that you think? Okay, what

1311. is theology of Some of you say, I don't have

1312. theology because you don't have a Bible degree. Sorry, I

1313. also don't have a Bible degree. Okay. Theology is not

1314. about having a Bible degree. Theology is just simply what

  1315. you think about God.

  1316. That's what it is.

1317. It's your understanding of who God is. Right, and every

1318. week you can come to church on a Sunday and

1319. you can see the joy of the Lord. The joy

1320. of the Lord is my strength. That is a theology.

1321. It's biblical, you know. It is from the world. We

1322. don't just sing songs because it sounds good. It's biblical principle.

1323. That's a theology, right, because it's scriptural. But the question

1324. is is the theology that you sing something that you experience.

1325. Is theology something you experience? I can also put it

1326. the other way, then, is your experience theological or not?

1327. Think about it? Is everything that you experience in accordance

1328. to the Word of God. Because we can experience many

1329. things right in life, we can experience many things. Wow,

1330. you know, I recently, which I don't usually keep up

1331. with the news, but I just saw a Backstreet Boys concert.

1332. Do you all know about BSB? They're running their concert

1333. in the sphere in Las Vegas. I don't know why

1334. I know this are I shouldn't know? This is okay,

1335. I'm so old school and how many of you know

1336. Backtreet Boys, Backstreet Black, Ah, my era and agay? And

1337. the concert is just out of this wall. It's called

1338. Millennium two point oh, I think, right, So I'm so

1339. inven I feel so insuddenly. I'm usually not a so happened?

1340. That's so happened? I saw that end.

  1341. It's crazy the.

1342. I mean the whole theoretical part of it. Right, it's

1343. out of this wall. Why did I get to Backstreet Boys?

  1344. I also don't know, but experience that's right. So it's

1345. it's yeah, is it theological? Now? Something? You know? I

1346. ask myself this question. Right, every time there's a football

1347. match and then you go to the stadium and it's

1348. twenty thousand people and they are giving their best cheers

1349. to the eleventh people team that they're supporting, and I

1350. wonder every Sunday, whether there's twenty thousand people giving that

1351. kind of best cheers to our Lord Jesus Christ. It's

1352. a real question, I asked, because I really believe that

  1353. football is a god.

  1354. To some.

1355. It can be. You know, you can be a Christian,

1356. but if you're watching more sports news than you are

1357. reading the Bible, I also wonder Who's GODLA talk about experiences,

1358. talk about being real, talk about what occupies your mind

1359. and your thought. That is your God right. And so

1360. I wanted to just bring us all again to say, God,

1361. we're really serious. Are you serious about God? And we

1362. really really want to get hold of what God wants

1363. to speak to us. And he wants to restore to

1364. us the joy of our salvation. Amen. I will read

1365. that in Psalms fifty one, but I just wanted to

1366. read to you. And we're gonna read a lot of

1367. scripture today. Are you okay with that? I love this

1368. book and it's a letter written by Paul, and it's

1369. a letter that's full of joy. Okay, as we read

1370. through it later, I want you to just just maybe, County,

1371. no matter how many times you see this with joy, Okay, Okay?

1372. And I'm gonna be reading from the NLT version. I

1373. don't know whether XTV has it, but it's okay with

1374. whatever version you have. Do you have your Bibles with you? Awesome?

1375. Turned to the Book of Philippians and we're gonna read

1376. quite a lot of it because you know, I just

1377. love the Word of godla Okay, now, okay, Philippians. What

1378. do we know about this letter? Anyone? Tell me? What

1379. do you know of this letter? It's written by Paul? Excellent?

1380. Good start? What else for the church in Philippi? Very

1381. clever people? First? Roll off first said, you're so smart

1382. people are You're very smart leaders? Okay? What else? What

1383. else do you know about the church in Philippi? Sorry?

1384. Say again? Paul was in prison in Rome when he

1385. wrote this letter. Thank you brother?

  1386. Wow?

1387. Okay did you know that? Did you know that Paul

1388. was writing this letter in prison? From prison? How many

1389. of you have been to prison before? Don't raise up

1390. your hands. I don't want to know, or maybe I

1391. do want to know. It's okay, you're here right now. Okay,

1392. But how would you feel if you're in prison? Said?

1393. What would you be thinking about? You want to get out? Someone? What? What?

1394. What would you be thinking if you're in prison, death right,

1395. death unfair? Yes, that's me. I'll be like, this is unfair.

1396. And actually Paul was wrongly in prison. Right. He was

1397. in prison, of course for his faith, but he did

1398. nothing wrong. There were just people accusing. How many of

1399. you feel that many times you're in a prison where

1400. you're wrongly accused. It's not a physical prison, but it

1401. can be a very very emotional or it can be

1402. a very spiritual experience where it's like wow, you know,

1403. how can this be? It's you feel like you're wrongly

1404. in prison for false accusations and things like that. Right,

1405. And so Paul was writing this from prison to this

1406. very church. Now it's a little bit interesting about this church.

1407. This church is one of the first church plants that

1408. Paul planted. Okay, so talk about church planting, right. So

1409. Paul was the church planting missionary, and this is one

1410. of the first churches that he planted. And amongst all

1411. the other churches that he planted, this was the only

1412. one that supported him find nantially right, So all the

1413. other teases you know, sometimes right, when we give, we're

1414. giving to U in partnership with the work of the gospel. Right,

1415. when we give our money, we cannot go. We give

1416. our money, our money can go. But for Paul, he

1417. said that I actually don't need any funding. That's why

1418. he was a tent maker. You know what time maker is?

1419. Do you know what tenn maker is? What is it?

  1420. He makes tends?

  1421. That's try.

1422. Yes, in those days, tanme maker was an actual profession.

1423. So he made ten for a living. He sold tents

1424. in between he was preaching a So it sounds like

1425. a lot of us are. We also have to make

1426. a living. Right Monday to Friday we work and then

1427. you know we do ministry on the weekends on Fridays.

1428. So yeah, it's very similar. We can identify with Paul.

1429. So so let's go to uh, I'm gonna read from

1430. from first first chapter and verse one. Okay, are you there?

1431. All right? So let's go. Okay, I'm just gonna read

1432. from the NFT. You can follow the NKJV on the

1433. screen if you need to. Okay, all right, So this

1434. letter is from Paul Antimothy is writing slaves of Christ Jesus.

  1435. Wow.

1436. The other version says, bond servants, do you consider yourself

1437. a slave of Jesus Christ? Okay, it's a very hard

1438. thing to grasp because I know not many of us

1439. like to be slave to anyone.

  1440. Lah.

1441. What is the mantra of this world? Be yourself, be free,

1442. cob not. Just do whatever you want, be whatever you want.

1443. If you feel like you're a dog, just be a dog.

1444. You laugh, But it's true. It's crazy in the Western world.

  1445. Now.

1446. If you feel like you identify as a dog, okay,

1447. I will greet you with a whoof woof. No, you laugh,

1448. But this is so real, guys, this is happening, not

1449. here yet, thank God, but who knows how soon you

  1450. will hit us.

  1451. Lah.

1452. But we don't want to be slaves of anything else

1453. because you don't like it or not. Right, we're all

1454. slaved to something you like it or not. You say, no,

  1455. I'm a free person. No, you're a slave to yourself.

1456. You are because if you become the center of everything

1457. that you do, then you are a slave to you.

1458. And I'd rather be a slave of Jesus Christ. Amen.

1459. So this is what Paul and Timothy are. I'm writing

1460. to all of God's holy people in Philippi or I

1461. always like to localize it. Subana Tintati, who belong to

1462. Christ Jesus, including the elders and the deacons. May God,

1463. our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace

1464. and peace. Amen. So grace and peace of God upon

1465. each one of you. And let's go verse three. Every

1466. time I think of you, this is Paul writing, I

1467. give thanks to my God.

  1468. Wow.

1469. Do you you know when you think about someone, do

1470. you give thanks to God? Hardleh? So I think all

1471. the persons agree, But okay, let's try and get into

1472. the mindset of Paul. Is that okay? Because to me

1473. he was one of the most joyful disciples and apostles,

1474. and we want to understand what this meaning of joy is. Okay.

1475. So he says, every time I think of you, I

1476. give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make

1477. my requests for all of you with joy, for you

1478. have been my partners in spreading the good news about

1479. Christ from the time you first heard it until now.

1480. And I'm certain, I'm certain that God, who began the

1481. good work within you, will continue his work until it

1482. is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Amen.

1483. I like this term that he used. In verse five,

1484. he says that you have been my partners in the gospel.

1485. So what is the source of Paul's joy? You think

1486. about it? What is your the source of your joy?

1487. It can be many things, right, but joy that is

1488. true and everlasting is what we're gonna learn here.

  1489. Right.

1490. Firstly, he says you, my joy is that you have

1491. been my partners. What is partnership? Anyone here run the

1492. business and you have a partnership, can I see? No,

1493. don't have a Are we all like employers? Sort of ish? Okay?

1494. But you understand the difference between a partnership and like

1495. an employee employers sort of relationship. You understand run which

1496. one holds more responsibility, which one holds more rewards? Partnership also,

1497. so greater responsibility comes greater rewards. True, not spider man, right,

1498. And you know that's the reason why in acts we

1499. don't call our church members. Do you know why we

1500. call you guys partners? Why why partners? Because you partner together.

1501. Partnership means you say, I have a stake in this,

1502. not sticker sticker, not stick to eat on a stak,

1503. meaning you have a percentage of, you know, ownership in this.

1504. That's what partnership is. It means that I'm gonna put

1505. my stake in and it doesn't matter how tough things go,

1506. I'm gonna stay put and see it through. That's what

1507. partnership is. And in fact, right a marriage is partnership.

1508. You know, you know, you don't suddenly say, oh, today

1509. I don't feel like it, then I want out, let

1510. me resign from my job as husband. No, no such thing.

1511. Partnership means to death. Do us part real partnership?

  1512. Right?

1513. And actually this word partnership is this word coin onia.

1514. Some of your translation uses fellowship. Do you see that?

1515. What what do you understand about fellowship? Tell me? What's

1516. the first thing that comes to your mind when we

1517. say fellowship? Gather ring? What else in between? Okay? Okay,

1518. so it's multiple people involved? What else with fellowship? Where's

  1519. my express with them?

  1520. Food?

  1521. I don't know. That's that's our common association. Right when

1522. we think about fellowship, we're like, oh, where do we

1523. go for macana? That is true, that's true, that's how

1524. we use right. But do you know that in the Bible,

1525. all right, that fellowship is not marcane? You know, it's

1526. saying that we are partnering together in such a way

1527. that we are going to put our hands to the

1528. plow and we're gonna say, you know, this is family

1529. and you don't shirk your family when the going gets tough.

1530. That's what partnership is. Its deep, it's deeply rooted. It

1531. means I want to be part of this. And so

1532. that's why you know the person cannot always say is

1533. this you know you know who our real partners are

1534. by the number of those who show up for a

1535. Preyer service. It's true. You know why because across all

1536. church history, right, usually twenty percent only a ten prey service.

1537. And I'm not saying using Preyer service as a gauge,

1538. but to a certain extent it is true. Right, if

1539. you really believe in prayer, you will come, whereas the

1540. others will say it's okay, like you know, I come

1541. on a Sunday to receive. But when you come for

1542. something else that requires you to give, that is the

1543. real test. That's a real asset tests of where you

1544. know your partners are. You will know who your partners

1545. are when you say, okay, let's come and clean church

1546. together because you know, I don't know, maybe we're gonna move,

1547. and you count how many people show up, and those

1548. who show up are the true partners. And we've seen

1549. this doing church. I've been in ex Church for twenty years. Yeah,

1550. not short time, twenty years is quite a long I've

1551. seen how people come and how people go. Many would

1552. treat church like okay, it's just something that if I like,

  1553. I come. If I don't like, I don't come, okay.

1554. And but I've also seen faithful partners who it didn't

1555. matter who was preaching on the stage, it didn't matter

1556. who was leading worship. All that mattered to them was

1557. that I know God is here and that's all. And

1558. I know God called me to be here, and so

1559. I'm gonna be here. I'm gonna serve not because of

1560. what my leaders tell me. I'm here to serve because God,

1561. you told me to be here, and I'm here to

1562. grow this church. That's That's what true partners are. And

1563. we are very thankful for our partners, very very thankful

1564. for those of you who be inhibit us for a

1565. long time. Thank you, thank you for understanding what true

1566. partnership is. To say that God, you know this is

1567. where my family is, and you don't shirk family, right.

1568. I know that your own family, your reunion. Sometimes you

1569. also don't want to go right, but it's different when

1570. you choose this family, it's a choice, right and say yes,

1571. we want to partner to get it. So why Paul

1572. was so joyful was because they remember I told you

1573. that this was the only church that partnered with him

1574. in the ministry of gospel through giving of finances. So

1575. is Paul right materialistic? No, little you will see that

1576. he says, Actually, I don't need the money, but what

1577. I'm after is the fruit that it produces in you

  1578. through your giving.

  1579. Hello. Church.

1580. It means every time you saw into missions or giving

1581. to your offering, tips and offering, we are not looking

1582. into the money the amount. God is not looking. Do

1583. you think God needs your money? He's looking at what

1584. the giving is producing in you. That is the most

1585. important thing to God. Amen. So we celebrate because we

1586. have very generous partners. I can tell you that the

1587. church is alive today. We are still standing here together

1588. in this beautiful space because of our partner's generous giving. Amen. Amen.

1589. So that is that source of joy that Paul recognize. Amen.

1590. So let me read on from verse seven. So see

1591. this is Paul's heart. He says, So it is right

1592. that I should feel as I do about all of you,

1593. for you have a special place in my heart. You

1594. share with me the special favor of God. Amen, both

1595. in my imprisonment and in defending and confirming the truth

1596. of the good News. God knows how much I love

1597. you and long for you with the tender compassion of

  1598. Christ Jesus.

  1599. Amen.

1600. Do you feel Paul's heart here for the church? Do

1601. you feel the same way for God's Church?

  1602. Hello?

1603. Do we feel the same way for the Church of

1604. God that we think about the Church? We pray for

1605. the Church that we should continue to love the Church. Amen.

1606. And this is verse ninety says, I pray that your

1607. love will overflow more and more, and that you will

1608. keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want

1609. you to understand what really matter as Church, what really matters,

1610. so that you may live pure and blameless lives, he

1611. says here, so that you may approve the things that

1612. are excellent, and that you may be sincere and without

1613. offense till the day of Christ Jesus. Amen. That's what

1614. being pure and blameless is. Are we pure and blameless?

1615. Sometimes we need to ask ourselves, Lah and my is

1616. the life that I'm living right now? If we examine

1617. it before the Lord, is it pure and blameless? It's

1618. okay if it's not, and that's why we need the

1619. grace of our Lord Amen to say God, Yes, I

1620. do want that. Do you want that or not? That's

1621. the first question. Do you want to live pure and

1622. blameless lives? If you don't even have the desire that,

1623. say God, I need that desire because the opposite that

1624. of that is I will live a life that is

1625. full of blame and impure. Do you want that? Of

1626. course we say, remember theology. Of course we will say no.

1627. But what we experience is whatever that you're experiencing, according

1628. to the theology that you believe in. Can you okay,

1629. let me ask you this question. Do you think that

1630. Christians can live a sinless life?

  1631. No?

1632. We fall yeah, okay, So with that theology, how would

1633. you treat sin? Okay? So then the next time you sin?

1634. Because okay, so the theology now that I think most

1635. of you seem to agree with that, it's impossible to

1636. live a sinless life in this world. And so how

1637. the next time you fall into sin? What is your

1638. response to that? Sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, and then

1639. forgive me Lord. Okay, okay, we're the right track here.

1640. Some more I repented some more not to fall into

1641. it again. You see, the thing is right Sometimes when

1642. our theology is a yeah, every Christian scene norm we

1643. cannot run away from sin, right, And what we do

1644. is we start to cheapen sin and we make it

1645. something like a yah, white lion. It's okay, La, It's okay, ma. Right,

1646. Christian scene one, why uh you you mean you want

1647. to change some things on your text income text form?

1648. It's okay, la, Christian scene one. What it's okay? Can

1649. you see where I'm going with When we begin to

1650. take sin as something that is granted, you know, we

1651. will all fall into sin anyway. Therefore we just sin.

  1652. Lah?

1653. Hello, Am I making any sense to you? I think

1654. we have to be very careful how we look at

1655. things like that. And if you can come to this

1656. place where you say I'm gonna hate sin because God

1657. hates sin, it's a very different theology now because now

1658. you are guarded by the fear of God. And therefore

1659. the next time you're tempted to say, hey, you know,

1660. why don't you go look at this website, You're like, hey, no,

1661. straight away, it's like no, because God hates sin, right,

1662. and I will not touch anything that is detestable to

1663. the Lord. Can you see how your theology now begins

1664. to make you hate sin? You know why I hate

1665. sin so much? It is sin that put Jesus Christ

1666. on the cross. It is your sin and my sin

1667. that put Jesus Christ on the cross. And so sometimes

1668. we don't look at sin the way we should be

1669. looking at sin, guys, you know, and there's many things

1670. that's very subtle in our lives that we begin to

1671. be okay with it. We become very okay with sin.

1672. It's almost like, hey, you're you're not my best friend,

1673. but okay, we can live with each other, you know,

1674. like the whole roommate that you don't quite like, but

1675. you can live with each other. And that's how we

1676. treat sin in our lives. And so we've gotta be

1677. very careful, guys, with our theology, right. And we you know,

1678. my prayer is God, of course, you know, the Lord's

1679. prayer every day says, you know, forgive me as I

1680. forgive others. Right in that very sentence, it's acknowledging that, yes,

1681. I'm going to fall. But it's not that I want

1682. to fall, right, I don't purposely want to fall, but

1683. it makes me become so conscious of the things in

1684. my life that makes me fall. And you know when

1685. you say repentance, right, it means I'm going to cut off,

1686. cut off everything that is going to tempt you to fall.

1687. That is what true repentance is. Many of us we say, okay, Lord,

1688. I'm so sorry. Then the thing is still there and

1689. guess what, You're weak. I'm weak, And so we fall

1690. into it again, and we fall into it again, and

1691. we fall into it again, and we say, God, how

1692. come there's no transformation in my life? Why is there

1693. no power? There's no power because you let that very

1694. thing that scepts your power live with you, right, and

1695. we need the power of God to see out with it.

1696. Cut off everything that is hindering my walk with the Lord.

1697. And for some of us, right, it's our social media.

1698. How much time are you spending there? I don't know

1699. what kind of thoughts are you letting it influence your

1700. mind that makes you become so unsatisfied with your own life?

1701. Are you satisfied with your life. Okay, I'm glad someone

1702. you say yes, But many of us, if you really

1703. really ask the heart of your hearts, right, you're not

1704. and you have to ask ourselves why am I not satisfied?

1705. You know? There's one verse in a Second Currentents that says,

1706. I have nothing, yet I have everything. Second Corindance, chapter six,

1707. I have nothing and yet I have everything. I encourage

1708. you to go and read what that means, because it can.

1709. It simply says I have I can have nothing of

1710. this world, no success, no money, no wealthy connections, no

1711. good looks, and yet in Christ, I have everything that

1712. I truly need. Amen. Can you come to that place

1713. or not? Can you come to that place of joy

1714. and saying that I don't need all these things? You know,

1715. some of us we are also busy, right. The reason

1716. why we're so stressed is because we're trying to chase

1717. one that thing that you think will give you joy.

1718. What is it? Is it career? Is it your next promotion?

1719. Is it to earn your first million before you're thirty

1720. years old? What is it that you think that once

1721. I hit it there, then I think, God, I'm gonna

1722. be happy. I'm gonna be contented at last. Oh no, no,

1723. no can He's like, no, no, no, that's a polacy.

1724. He's been there, try that, done that, not working, not working. Solomon,

1725. in all his splendor, the richest man on earth, he

1726. says all this meaningless. I think only a rich person

1727. can say that, Like, Okay, I'm not a millionaire, I'm

1728. not elne mask. You know, I cannot say all this

1729. is nothing. But Solomon was the richest man on earth,

1730. and he could say all this is like a vapor,

1731. actually not meaningless. It just means it's a vapor, means

1732. it's gonna come today and it's gonna go tomorrow. So

1733. the question to us is what's gonna be long lasting

1734. for you friends? What's gonna be the long lasting joy

1735. that nothing in the circumstances around you can rob you

1736. of that joy? Amen? Because joy is not circumstantial. Joy

1737. is a relationship. Amen. Amen. Let's move on. Amen. This

1738. is I hope you catch something. Yeah, you catch something

1739. that God is saying. He's looking and looking and defining

1740. joy in a very very different way from what we

1741. would define joy to be right for some of us,

1742. you know, it's like you're trying, I know, there are

1743. a couple who are trying for children. Maybe and to them,

1744. my life is not complete without child, but we are

1745. encouraging them. No, find your joy, find your completeness in Christ.

  1746. I know it's not easy. I know it's not easy.

  1747. I'm not I'm not looking at anyone because I don't

1748. know your situation. Okay, I don't come to that one

1749. to the other. I don't know your situation. But then

1750. my question is can you truly find contentment in the Lord?

1751. Because so many of us are defined by our contentment

1752. in what the world can give us or don't give us,

1753. and we lose our joy when something goes against us.

1754. You see that. But joy for Paul, how is? How

1755. is joy possible from prison? Will you be joyful when

1756. you're in prison? No, it's probably the last year that

1757. the last emotion or the emotions I know, anger, bitterness, envy,

1758. maybe all right, No, no joy there. Joy is not

1759. gonna be done around what's in it? What's in us? Amen?

1760. So joy Paul's joy was dictated because firstly, there's few

1761. things that he counted joy and these are treasures in heaven.

1762. You know. Firstly, he was excited that there was a

1763. partnership in the gospel, and I thank God for you

1764. guys here. You are partnering together with us in the gospel. Amen,

1765. and we can rejoice every one of you your partners. Okay,

1766. he's also rejoicing because Christ is preached. I don't know

1767. how many of you get excited when Christ is being preached. Really,

1768. every time you hear about the Cross, you're like, oh, okay,

1769. time to sleep. I know this story. Hey hello, but

1770. are you excited or not that every time Christ is

1771. being preached You're like, thank you Jesus man. This is

1772. something that it just fills me with joy. Vestov says this,

1773. and I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters,

1774. that everything that has happened to me, this is Paul

1775. here has helped to spread the good news for everyone here,

1776. including the whole palace. God knows that I am in

1777. change because of Christ and because of my imprisonment. Most

1778. of the believers here have gained confidence and boldly speak

1779. God's passage without fear. Amen. Wow, this guy is really

1780. out of this world, right, He is in change. And

1781. he's like, yeah, it's because then Christ can be preached

1782. even more. You're in change.

  1783. To make good.

1784. You're my captive. I'm going to preach Christ to you

  1785. until you believe.

  1786. Wow.

1787. Can you, in your imprisonment, whatever that you're going through

1788. right now, think about it and say, I'm going to

1789. preach Christ to you. Your help captive by me. Not

1790. I'm help captive by you. You are held captive by me.

1791. And I'm going to preach Christ because that's the source

1792. of my joy. Amen. Christ is the source of our joy,

  1793. not anything else.

  1794. Amen.

1795. Amen. So the other thing that Paul was really really

1796. joyful about was the fact that the church partners are

1797. growing together with him. Amen. So I'm going to read

1798. from verse twenty verse twenty still in chapter one, this

1799. is pausing for I fully expect and hope that I

1800. will never be a shame, but that I will continue

1801. to be bold for Christ as I have been in

1802. the past, and I trust that my life will bring

1803. honor to Christ, whether I live or to die. Now,

1804. in the Nalty version, it says, for to me, living

1805. means living for Christ, and dying is even better. I'm

1806. going to read the NKJV because this is the verse

1807. that you're all very familiar with, right, Okay, let's read

1808. this together. Three two one. For me, to live is

1809. Christ and to die is gain. Excellent. How many of

1810. you this is your theology? You're smiling. You're smiling because

1811. theology does not match up to experience right now, right.

1812. I know, it's very nice, very nice to say. Why

1813. you can poster it in your room, But to me,

1814. to live is Christ and to die is Gain. And

1815. then the next moment you receive bad news, you're like, ah,

1816. You're like, ah, something happened. I don't like this person.

1817. I'm gonna leave church. Ah, I'm gonna leave my job, ah,

1818. whatever it is. And then we forget that actually, living

1819. is not about us. Hello, Living is not about you anymore.

1820. Every day that you have becomes an opportunity for Christ

1821. to speak through your life. We always forget this because

1822. you know why. You know, what is the biggest challenge

1823. we all face? Can I be honest with you, it's

1824. not the devil. The biggest challenge that you and I

1825. face in this world is not the devil.

  1826. It's us.

1827. It's you. It's your flesh that is even harder. You know,

1828. there's a verse that says, you know, you stand from

1829. in God, and the devil will flee from you can

1830. you flee from yourself. You're stuck. Sorry, guys, You're stuck

1831. with yourself. And that's why Paul says in Romans right,

1832. the battle rights with the flesh. You know we have

1833. the Holy Spirit? Amen? Do we have the Holy Spirit?

1834. We have the Holy Spirit, Praise the Lord. But you

1835. know who the Holy Spirit has to battle every day?

  1836. Not you are me?

  1837. Every day there's a there's a wrestling match, no thing,

1838. thing thing today, Rose versus Holy Spirit. Who wins? And

1839. I pray that as we grow in maturity, as we

1840. grow in strength, as we grow in faith, this is

1841. us right, Maybe the earlier days are your thing down.

1842. You know, Rose is out and no, no, the Holy

1843. Spirit is out. You know every time right, rose winds

1844. la because my flesh gets in the way, my desire,

1845. my impatience, my anger, my bore songness, me my proud pride.

1846. Pride is very real for me. Right, It's like I'm

1847. better than you, I'm smarter than you, I got more

1848. ease than you. It's it's very easy to fall into

1849. that place. And when we when we are you know,

1850. when we're new in Christ, right, the flesh is so real, right,

1851. and so the Holy Spirit right is like okay, well, Rose,

1852. very scary, but to keep quiet, you know, the Holy

1853. Spirit very gentle, right right with Rose, who wins. And

1854. Yet as I grew in my walk with the Lord,

1855. I'm learning this is a very hard verst for me

1856. to learn. I'm learning more and more that now when

1857. I want to live, I want to live for Christ.

1858. I want to live in such a way that when

1859. people look at me, when they talk to me, when

1860. they have an argument with me, they can see Christ

  1861. in me.

1862. Do you see? Do you see?

1863. It's not that we will not disagree. It's not that

1864. we will not have wrong days or bad days or

1865. bad temper. It's not that it's saying that even through

1866. this I can see woh, suddenly God self control. I

1867. want to say this that I followed and say it's okay,

1868. I don't need to win this argument because I just

1869. want to love you. Do you say it's very different

1870. when we say that I'm now living for Christ, because

1871. it's not about you anymore. How many of you are

1872. ready to die? Ready to die?

  1873. Oh?

  1874. Yes, thank you?

  1875. This is so true.

1876. You know all the subvices that I share this right,

1877. it is those who are closer to the Lord that

1878. will say I'm ready to die. And I mean, I'm

1879. just saying all of you are very young, okay young,

1880. But as I grow older, maybe that's the thing. As

1881. I grow older, I'm like, I'm all ready to die now,

1882. because sir, your bodies have to feel all these aches

1883. and things and something like, oh, you're crick right once

1884. you hit fortyer, I tell you, guys, it's a different world.

1885. You haven't hit forty yet. You don't know what I'm

1886. talking about. And then they say fifties and others. It's okay,

1887. I'm gonna get there, Okay. But the more I think

1888. it's more, the more you walk with the Lord, the

1889. more you realize actually are dying is really gain? You know,

1890. to die is gain? Did you are you ready to

1891. like say, I'm gonna it's better for me to be

1892. with the Lord, Because as you grow more and more

1893. through life, you realize the more pain and suffering you see.

1894. Did do you realize that the more of you know?

1895. And we are living in perilous times right now like

1896. never before. When I was growing up, I didn't hear

1897. a war like I hear now. It's like what water

1898. is gonna happen. No, anytime there are shooting bisiles is

1899. very real. We are very insulated, you know, because our

1900. biggest problem is what electricity bill or packing? No packing,

1901. modern day sort of problem. Right, But if you really

1902. think about it, just across the Gulf, our brothers and

1903. sisters there are living in bomb shelters because real missiles

1904. are flying over the heat. Reality check, where where is

1905. our reality? Right? And so you know it's it's much

  1906. better to.

  1907. Die.

1908. This is what Paul is saying. Paul is saying that

1909. I read a dialer because it's gain, Ma, you know

1910. what gain is. It's better, right, Gain is better? But

  1911. if I live, I live is Christ. Okay, let's let's

1912. try and understand a little bit more of what he's

1913. saying here right in verse twenty one. For to me,

1914. living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.

1915. But if I live, I can do more full work

1916. for Christ. So actually, pauls confused. LOA, so I really

1917. don't know which is better. This is another vision, quite cue,

1918. So I really don't know which is better. I'm torn

1919. between the two desires. I long to go and be

1920. with Christ, which would be far better for me, But

1921. for your six it is better that I continue to live.

1922. You love right, Like Paul, Hey, you wanna make up

1923. your mind? You say dying is better. Now you're like,

1924. I don't know which is better. Can you see that

1925. Paul's love was never about himself? Because right, I can

1926. understand this in a cynical way, because he said if

  1927. I die, right, it's about me. I don't have to

1928. deal with all of you anymore, your all love Ana

1929. the Young Rebellious callon. You know, Paul is dealing with

1930. the churches, right, and and I can understand as a parent, like,

1931. oh yo, sometimes when they go through a really really

1932. bad spell, you're like, Jesus, take me home. I don't

1933. want to deal with this mess. I don't know. Some

1934. mess is so messy that you're like, I just want

1935. to exit out right? And sometimes is that? You know?

1936. I just want to exit?

  1937. You know?

1938. Sometimes you can think of it like but then when

1939. I'm with Jesus, I'll be in glory. I will know

1940. no more pain, no more sorrow, no more tears. Don't

1941. you want that? We say only we wanna, But in

1942. the actually fact, as you choose die now ready or not? No?

1943. No no, no, no no, no, no, no, no, Actually

  1944. I don't want yet yet. I stay, haven't gone to

1945. the Backstreet Boy concert yet. You know, I don't know

1946. what is it that you're living for. But for Paul,

1947. living is Christ and doing for full work. And yet

1948. he says this, and I can see this in his

1949. love for the Church. He says, I'm torn between the

1950. two desires. I long to go and be with Christ,

1951. which would be far better for me, but for your sake,

1952. it is better that I continue to live. So do

1953. you know that Paul is now living not for himself.

1954. If he has to go through the pain of living,

1955. he's doing it because of you, of the church. So

1956. you think about the way you live right now? Do

1957. you live in such a way that if I'm gonna

1958. live right I'm just focusing my pure, entire focus is

  1959. full work for Christ.

  1960. Wow?

1961. What the theology? Man? What a way to live that

1962. is not about me, my needs, my my family, my

1963. you know, me, me me me me me me me, me,

1964. me me, what's in it for me? That's not God's theology,

1965. it's our human theology. But instead, if we can, if

1966. can you imagine if all of you here right now,

1967. you come to church and you say, I'm here to give,

1968. I'm here to serf, I'm here to meet your needs. Wow,

1969. every one of you, you know, every single one of

1970. you come with this mindset that I'm just here to

1971. serve God and serve Pew because God says love God

1972. and love is people, right and the best way to

1973. love God's people is to serve them, true or not.

1974. And all of you come with them. And I say,

1975. guess what will happen to the church?

  1976. Can you?

1977. Can you imagine with me what will happen to this church?

1978. All your needs will be met? All I dare to

1979. say it boldly, all your needs will be met. You

1980. know this, this quote that Pasia cannot always says, right,

1981. if everyone gives, everyone gets. If no one gives, no

1982. one gets, And that's true. If all of you give,

1983. I tell you there is no lack. And that's that's

1984. the church in acts right. Everyone came together and they

1985. gave willingly, and they gave generously. And it says in

1986. the Word of God that no one had any lack.

  1987. What a church?

  1988. What a church?

1989. And I pray that AX will become more and more

1990. like that. You know that if you call and you

1991. believe that access your church. You come with a mindset

1992. and a willingness to give, not say he give, la, give, la,

1993. give give gif You know who am I?

  1994. Poor?

  1995. And poor and poor?

  1996. Hello?

1997. No, you are rich, God says you are rich. Poor

1998. is in our mindset. It's not about how much we have.

1999. You pray. If you have needs, then ask God? Why

2000. you ask men? Men can give you a little bit, lad,

2001. But do you think God cannot? Where is our faith?

2002. Are you having faith in men? Or are you having

2003. faith in God who provides? Amen? Amen, I'm gonna move on.

2004. So he says this right, Okay, let's read verse twenty five.

2005. Knowing this, he says, knowing this truth, this theology. Now

2006. I am convinced that I will remain alive, he says, Okayla,

2007. I think there's still work to do, right, so I

2008. can continue to help all of you grow and experience

2009. the joy of faith. You see, Paul is saying, I

2010. would rather be alive, so I need because I want

  2011. you to experience.

  2012. The joy of faith.

2013. Do you have joy in your faith or not? Guys?

  2014. Or yeah?

2015. Have you lost the joy? If you've lost the joy

2016. of your faith, then the devil has done some robbing

2017. and killing and destroying, because the devil comes to still

2018. kill and destroy our joy. And if we were not

2019. joyful anymore, we are dragging our feet. You know, everything

2020. is like no energy, no any strength. Let me say, God,

2021. you have to restore Jesus. You have to restore amen.

2022. And he says this, And when I come to you again,

2023. you will have even more reason. Take pride in Christ Jesus.

2024. Are you proud of Christ Jesus because of what He's

2025. doing through him a man? A man. Let's move on,

2026. So joy is possible. Yeah. And the other thing that

2027. Paul's heart was really was about living lives that's worthy

2028. of him a man. So this continue reading verse twenty seven.

2029. He says, above all, above all these things, Wow, someone God,

2030. things you know already say. We have to live for

2031. Christ to die. Someone God some more. Okay, above all,

2032. you must live as citizens of heaven. That's my version, okay,

2033. or the other version says, let your conduct be worthy

2034. of the Gospel. Okay, I like the citizens of Heaven

2035. version of LA conducting yourselves in a matter worthy of

2036. the good news about Christ. Then, whether I come and

2037. see you again or only hear about you, I will

2038. know that you are standing together with one spirit and

2039. one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the

2040. good news. Now, the other thing that we need to

2041. be very careful to God. The joy in the church

2042. is unity, Amen, oneness. I just want to quickly say this.

2043. If we find that we are fighting a lot, and

2044. you know, in my vision right it says see that

2045. you are standing together with one spirit and purpose, fighting

2046. together for the faith. Sometimes we get too busy fighting

2047. each other. Yeah, if you find that you're in a

2048. position where you're fighting each other. And I'm talking to marriages,

2049. I'm talking to families, I'm talking to the workplace. If

2050. you find that you are fighting each other, even in ministry,

2051. then you will be robed off your joy. Nothing drains

2052. you more than fighting each other. So if you want

2053. to fight, if you got energy, then I say fight together, Amen,

2054. fight together to defend the faith. That's what the that's

2055. the fight that is the most worth fighting for. Amen.

2056. Don't fight each other. La Guys, if you find yourself

2057. you're beginning to fight each other, it stops on. Stop

2058. we're wasting our energy. You wanna fight, we fight the devil.

2059. You wanna fight principalities, you're gonna fight unbelief. Amen, don't

2060. fight each adella enough, very dy, that's immaturity. So let's

2061. grow up, guys. Don't don't let petty things, small things.

2062. I know, offenses are very real. I'm dealing with a

2063. lot of it in my church plan. Offenses. It comes

2064. in in the smallest matter, okay, very small thing, like

2065. you're not sitting next to me that kind of offense.

2066. I'm telling you, my dear friends, I don't know what

2067. I'm dealing with. And this a doubts offenses because nobody

2068. want to sit next to me. Like what how to

2069. go and save souls when you cannot get over yourself?

2070. Get over it, La, get over yourself, seriously, get over yourselves.

2071. That's all we're learning in warmth right in if you're

2072. going to homes our small groups. But talking about offenses

2073. and forgiveness, it's like, I think it's time that we

2074. let go quick, Kila. Okay, I know offense, come ah,

  2075. say it hurts, but I don't. I don't need this,

2076. say God, I'm gonna let go. It's okay. I can

2077. still you don't want to sit next to me, I

2078. sit next to you, La. You know, change me away

2079. is it? Hey? Hello, come on, let's not fall into

  2080. a victim's mentality.

  2081. La.

2082. Nobody loves me, nobody say hello to me, or nobody

2083. gave me a drink. Hello, you're gonna make drink yourself. La,

2084. family maa write your own home. Wh Why you expect

2085. people to serve you? You serve at the la? Ah

2086. enough enough, guys, we need to save souls. We need

2087. to save souls. Don't just play church right enough? Ready?

2088. Would you declare every Sunday like this sit will be feeled,

2089. that's it will be feel it'll be all flowing. Then

2090. you have to have a next service already? Amen? Hey,

2091. we need to get ready for revival.

  2092. Church right right?

2093. And just say God, I just need to mature a

2094. man not blah manup blah girls or so your man

2095. not will be La. You don't need to be so

2096. sensitive one, okay, you you're sensitive? Just say god, yeah

2097. you think away my sensitivity. LA. Let me be sensitive

2098. to the poor, to the needed, to the offense like

2099. you want to be sensitive. Be sensitive like that, la, right,

2100. be sensitive for what matters? Saying that right, think of

2101. what really matters? Are you all enough ready? Li? I

2102. am so I'm like, hello, but you see her. It's

2103. because we're at the brink of our breakthrough. It's because

2104. we're at the brink of our breakthrough that all these

2105. things come and we say, Okay, I'm seeing signs. I'm

2106. seeing signs that the devil is also very active at

2107. work and he's trying to destroy what we are trying

2108. to do. So it's okay. It's like, okay, come la,

2109. come offenses, come la. I will deal with it. I

2110. will help you deal with it, right. The Holy Spirit

2111. will help us deal with it, and so that we

2112. can become mature like Christ. Amen. Okay, my time is running,

2113. but I really really want to give you this, and

2114. I think this is so so, so so important. Amen.

2115. And this has been my theology, something that I strive

2116. to live by on a day to day basis. And

2117. this is Philippins, Chapter two. Philippines, Chapter two. Let's gonna read.

2118. Let's read most of it, because I think this is

2119. the crux of the matter. Is there any encouragement from

2120. belonging to Christ, any comfort from his love, any fellowship

2121. together in the spirit. Are your hearts tender and compassionate

2122. that make me truly happy? By agreeing wholeheartedly with each other.

  2123. Wow.

2124. Can you agree wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another

2125. and working together with one mind and purpose? Don't be selfish,

2126. don't try to impress others are enoughla be humble, thinking

2127. of others as better than yourself or this one very

2128. hard for me to swallow. Remember, I told you what's

  2129. my downfall?

  2130. Pride?

2131. Right. So God's words says think of other people better

2132. than yourself. It's written in the world of God. I'm

2133. not lying. It says, think of others better than yourself.

2134. Don't look out only for your own interests, but take

2135. an interest in others also. Wow. So this has been

2136. the theology that I am experiencing. Is not just written

2137. in the word of God. It's how I live my

2138. life now, It's how I choose to live my life.

  2139. It's a choice, right, It's a choice. And what governs

2140. this is this. You must have the same attitude as

2141. Christ Jesus had. This is a commandment, you know, let

2142. this mind be in you, which was also in Christ.

2143. It didn't say if you feel like it. He didn't

2144. say if you are on a good day. It just says,

2145. as a disciple, this should be your mindset. Let's read

2146. from the NKJV version. Then let's go on to the

2147. next verse, verse six, who being in Okay, let's read

2148. this together. Okay, and so let's go with the queue

2149. of XTV. Okay, let's go three to one, who, being

2150. in the form of God, did not consider it robbery

2151. to be equal with God, but made himself of no repute,

2152. taking the form of a bond servant, and coming in

2153. the likeness of men, and being found in the appearance

2154. as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to

2155. the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore,

2156. God also has highly exalted him and given him the

2157. name which is above every name. That at the name

2158. of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those in heaven,

2159. and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

2160. and that everything should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord

2161. to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, my beloved,

2162. as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only,

2163. but now much more in my absence, work out your

2164. own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God

2165. who works in you both to will and to do

  2166. for his good pleasure.

  2167. A man.

2168. Let's pause there. Oh no, let's go on to the

2169. next line. Is very good. Let's read do all things

2170. without complaining on disputing, that you may become blameless and

2171. harmless children of God, without fault, in the midst of

2172. a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as

2173. lights in the world, holding fast the world of life.

2174. That I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that

2175. I have not run in vain or labored in vain. Yes,

2176. And if I'm being poured out as a drink offering

2177. on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am

2178. glad and rejoice with you all a man. And it

2179. says that and verse eighteen, Yes, what's verse eighteen? For

2180. the same reason, you also be glad and rejoice with me? Amen. Wow,

2181. there's so much to unpack here, But I really believe

2182. that the word of the Lord has spoken. I mean,

2183. there's so many things about this. I made it a

2184. point to memorize this because there are many times when

2185. I forget, I forget the theology, and when I bring

2186. to mind again all this theology, it becomes something that

2187. I'm just reminded, this is what Christ is like. And

2188. if I say I want to be more like Christ?

2189. Do you want to be more like Christ? Don't give

2190. me the standard year if that's not your true desire.

2191. Don't pay God lips of isla if you say, if

2192. that is not your honest pray God, make me more

2193. like you. Then you have to ask God. God, I'm

2194. confronted with this issue of the reality of my faith.

2195. How real is your faith to you? Would you lose

2196. it in an instant? Really? How much would you be

2197. willing to die for your faith? It is a very

2198. good question to ask, because if we are not confronted

2199. with this reality of the faith that we have in God,

2200. and all this becomes very hot. You know, all this

2201. becomes very superficial. It's that, yeah, just do good things,

2202. you know, okay, best try not to hurt each other.

2203. But it doesn't have any real transformative power in our lives.

2204. So let God not be just something that is very

2205. very far away, something that you do once a week

2206. on a Sunday. Let God be so personal to you. Amen.

2207. I'm gonna invite the worship team to come on stage,

2208. and I just want to minister to us Hallelujah, because

2209. I really believe that many of us may we are

2210. confronted with this issue of how real our faith is?

2211. How real is your faith? Is it a figment of

2212. your imagination or is it something that you say? To

2213. live is Christ and to die is Gain. Aymen, don't

2214. don't worry about what's happening on the band, you know.

2215. Just close your eyes, everybody, close your eyes and just

2216. see the Lord. Just let the Lord speak to you.

2217. Even right now, he's here, he's here.

  2218. Just be still.

2219. And hear what the Lord is saying to you. Am

2220. I real to you? Am I worth something to you?

2221. Am I worth everything to you? When was the last

2222. time you had a real encounter with the Lord, a deep,

2223. deep personal encounter with the Lord Holy Spirit. Shun da

2224. da Sunda shun da da da da dada da da

2225. a sense for some of us, there is a need

2226. to come back to this place of our first joy.

2227. And I just want to declare this and prophetically declared this.

2228. This is Psalm fifty one and reading from verse seven,

2229. this is the word of the Lord. Purify me from

2230. my sins and I will be clean. Wash me and

2231. I will be whiter than snow. Oh, give me back

2232. my joy again. You have broken me. Now let me rejoice.

2233. Don't keep looking at my sins. Of Lord, remove the

2234. stain of mine, my guilt. Create in me a clean heart,

2235. O God, Renew a loyal spirit within me. Do not

2236. banish me from your presence, and don't take your holy

2237. spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your

2238. salvation and make me willing to obey you. Then I

2239. will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return

2240. to you. Forgive me for shedding blood, Oh Lord, God

2241. who says, and then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness.

2242. Unseal my lips, O Lord, Then my mouth may praise you.

2243. Oh Lord. You do not desire a sacrifice, or I

2244. would offer one. You do not want a burn offering.

2245. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will

2246. not reject a broken and a repentant heart.

  2247. Oh God.

2248. Amen. Let's stand. That's worship in us, and this ask

2249. a holy spirit to minister to you. Hallelujah, and you

  2250. minister to the Lord.

2251. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
